We purchased this range about 4 years ago, and its been a ok stove. Lately we are having problems with the one large burner. It must stay on high heat. We been having problems with stuff burning quickly, even though at times you may have the settings set to low or even 4. Anyone out there experiencing this, it could be dangerous.

Purchased the state of the art Samsung French door refrigerator with all the bells and whistles available. The first 6 months, the motherboard had to be replaced. Within the 1st year, the ice machine and freezer unit iced up so bad we could not get the drawers out of the unit without breaking them. Design flaws is all I read about and Samsung has absolutely NO one that will help. I purchased extended 5 year warranty and thought this was a bit expensive, however, it turned out to be the best thing in my deal as they have spent several thousand dollars in repair services that far exceed the cost of the unit. Now, the problems continue as we have to unplug the unit every month to chip out the ice on the freezer unit, defrost to room temp, and then restart the unit to get another 30 days of use out of it. DO NOT BUY A SAMSUNG unless you want to experience the worst experience of your life.

I have a brand new Samsung dishwasher and it is disappointing to say the least. I had a Bosch 10 years ago that was better. Even though I select Hi Temp Wash the water is lukewarm. It is noisy but nothing gets done in cold water. Very very disappointed. Will never buy another Samsung. My washer does the same thing! Use some hot water! I put pails of hot water into my machine.

Ours was JUST out of warranty. It never cleaned the dishes with the recommended soap and our plumber also knew exactly what was wrong with it as soon as he heard the symptoms. He also told us it would keep happening. LOWES would do nothing for us nor would Samsung. Im 60 and have used MANY different washers in my home and others. I must say this one is THE rotten egg. It is broken once again and Im sure it will do no good to call either LOWES or SAMSUNG. GRADE F.

I bought a SAMSUNG Stainless Steel, French Doors, Bottom pull out freezer almost 2 yrs. ago. I wanted this Refrigerator for a long time so being a mother of 6 and wife, I felt it was what I needed. I first noticed I was getting water in the Vegetable Tray. All my Vegetables were floating, so I dumped the water out and threw away my vegetables, 2 days later same thing. I called told the company I bought it from. They said they would send someone out to fix it. The Repair guy comes takes a cap off and say they are having problems with all of these Refrigerators. Anyway, to make a long story short it didnt work. I started getting water in both trays, wasnt able to use either tray. I call our local Sears to get someone else to work on the refrigerator and guess what I was told we work on every kind of refrigerator itself for SAMSUNG. So now my refrigerator is out for repairs with the company I bought it from and thats been about a month now. Model# RF217ACRS

Purchased this refrigerator 12/06/13. Around 10/14 the whole unit quit working. Samsung did not use local Sears. I called for service 10/21/14 and a repairman from out of town that Samsung contracts with, arrived 10/23/14. A PCB and display was ordered and then he returned around 10/29/14 to install those parts. Over a week without a working refrigerator in my kitchen!! We have constant problems with frost build and ice forming in the freezer. This is the WORST refrigerator we have ever owned! Will NEVER buy another Samsung appliance!

We bought our 1st Samsung side-by-side fridge in late-2006. Just after the 1-yr warranty expired, the twin cooling system froze in the refrigerator side. Recommended appliance repairman literally took a knife to chip ice off of the equipment. Had to call a 2nd repairman who completed it but discovered the touch screen didnt work properly (again not covered by warranty). In 2014, bought a 2nd Samsung (4-door model). Had problem with touch screen but when repairman came, couldnt duplicate problem. Of course, after warranty expired, housing for water filter started leaving debris (white substance) in the filter & ice & water stopped. Repairman said housing was a faulty design & Samsung was working to correct the design. Then he said the touch screen wasnt working either. After repeated calls to Samsung by me, the repairman & even my husband, the final conclusion from the manager was that they didnt have a record of the touch screen malfunctioning prior to warranty ending! So, like our 1st fridge (which we moved downstairs), we opted not to repair the touchscreen but did pay to replace the housing. This week I had repairman out for both fridges with identical problems as before. When filter housing was changed out in Sept-2015, it had not been redesigned. So... now $325 cost to repair housing & at least have confirmation it will be with redesigned part. Still leaving compromised touchscreen untouched. Cost to replace damaged parts on downstairs fridge = $505!Now if I wasnt smart enough to learn my lesson, when our washer went out we read consumer reports that highly recommended the Samsung appliances. Purchased them, immediately had problems - fought with Samsung for weeks and finally went to Lowes to let them know that their reputation was at stake because they sell Samsung products. Lowes went above and beyond and graciously took care of my problems with my dryer. Since that time I have received a recall about the problem with the washer. Sorry for this long. Review but Ive had more experience than I would like with Samsung and I do not believe in the quality nor their integrity. My advice to you - dont buy Samsung!

I purchased and a 2 door stainless steel refrigerator assembly and in 3 to 5 months we had to replace the ice maker - since then we are on our 4th ice maker. I have had many contacts with Samsung corp, and customer service and now that the unit is out of warranty they now tell me that the repairs will be at my cost - I simply requested a replacement unit for the one that I have. With saying that I have to add that I also have the microwave, oven, smart tv and dishwasher.I have been on the phones with Samsung tech support for hours going over what we are experiencing with their product - they just keep saying now that the unit is out of warranty and that I didnt purchase an extended warranty my request for a replacement unit is and I quote not an option. My question to them is that this problem was existing during the warranty period and 2 ice makers have been replaced during that time. I would think they would have taken that into consideration for it is obvious this problem was pre-existing prior to purchase. I guess their business is stronger than the consumers of their products. They stated to me the only thing they will offer is a one time free repair to the unit and that was the best they could do. I then asked if we have the repair done and 3-5 months again down the road this happens again then what? They said they could say at this time.In other words you just ** out of luck and $1500.00. I wasnt asking for restitution on any type. I just asked for a replacement unit and that was no longer an option because the unit was out of warranty. In closing, I must say I can no longer support the Samsung product. And in closing a message to the Samsung corporation - the definition of great company service is not defined when things are going right. It is defined when things are going wrong!!!!

We have purchased a Samsung slide-in range double oven ($1842.29), model (NE58F9710WS/AA) (1 year warranty plus 1 year extended warranty), on 8/22/2015. First time, I did use the self cleaning function. First issue: The TCO (=partition part MELTED in the back of the stove). Technician came: diagnosis 4/4/16, fixed 4/11/16 and 4/26/16. I have been told to use steam cleaning function instead of self cleaning option!!! But one of my criteria purchase always has been to buy an oven with self cleaning function which is so opened to work properly and safely. Second time I did use the self cleaning function (5/31/2016), halfway (1 hour 10 min) thru (3 hours in manual) the control panel died, the oven door locked, the range, the stone countertop, the kitchen cabinets, the glass backsplash way too, too hot!!Calling right away 18007267864. The customer service told me to wait at least 8 hours to let the oven cool down. I couldnt believe my ears. Next day, oven door still locked, calling again customer service explaining I didnt trust anymore this product, asking for an exchange or refund, refusing a repair service. Samsung product Review denied my request over a long week fight with agents, supervisors, executive from customer service, I had no other choice than accepting a service repair or keeping an useless range-oven. Technician came (6/9/2016), diagnosis temperature sensor BROKE, got it fixed. Technician witnessed our closest kitchen cabinet from oven have been damaged by the excessive heat!! 2 hazard issues in less in 2 months!! I think it is a huge safety hazard. Now, I am questioning about the safety of my home because of the Samsung cheaply constructed range oven.

We purchased the Samsung French Door Refrigerator Model: RF25HMEDB6SA back
We purchased the Samsung French Door Refrigerator Model: RF25HMEDB6SA back in August of 2014 and started experiencing issues 18 months ago. Water was leaking from ice maker into crisper. Ice maker was also freezing up and required defrosting. Also, the refrigerator began making a churning noise so we finally contacted Samsung to get the appliance serviced. They sent a technician from their authorized repair company (HSN) on 6/1. The representative from the company said that it was a bad sensor that needed to be replaced and should not have any more issues. Within 10 days, the churning sound was worse than ever. Called them back, same technician fixed the issue again. Wrong!Long story short, Ive had several interactions with Samsung and their service company with no positive results. Even though I had $200 invested in the repair with Samsung/HSN, I decided to contact a reputable company to diagnose the issue. They informed me that the service company did not follow the service bulletins that Samsung published. The cost to deploy the fixes that Samsung recommended would be over $1K for an appliance that I paid $2400 for not even four years ago! We are now buying a new refrigerator and will NEVER buy another Samsung product. Terrible product and dishonest company.

1. Purchased Samsung dishwasher (DW80R2031US/AA, SKU: 6336699) from Best Buy, at Reston, VA on 03/06/2020 with paid installation & haul away, installation kit, and gasket bundle. 2. Delivered on 03/10/2020. 3. Leaking problem being identified and fixed by Samsung service on 10/4/2020 with ticket# **. 4. Leaking issue occurred again in late May, 2021. Samsung offered one time accommodation service to cover labor and parts with ticket# **. 5. Technicians from TWO different service centers stopped by and claimed the fix can’t be done. The reason from the first technician was that the kitchen floor needs to be re-modeled in order to pull the dishwasher out. He also stated that it would take him 2 hours to fix the leaking problem and he had no sufficient time to do the work (which makes no sense?). When I mentioned that there was no issue with the kitchen floor during the instillation process and during the first time Samsung came over to fix the leaking issue on 10/4/2020, the technician had no response and left.6. Another technician from a different service center stopped by about one week later and claimed that the damage is not under Samsung’s manufacturer warranty. In addition, he couldn’t explain what the root cause of leaking was. The cost estimate to fix the leaking problem by the second technician was also outrageous. As a customer, we purchased a Samsung dishwasher, used it for about 6 – 7 months, then started having leaking problems. We tried to get this fixed, but the leaking problem occurred again after about 14 months. Samsung then told the customer to contact the technician directly to get problem fixed, all at the customer’s own cost. I have dishwashers made by other manufacturers at my other properties and they still work great. It is worth noting that some of these non-Samsung dishwashers have been working for 15 years.

Purchased Samsung Black Stainless French Door - bottom freezer on 6/10/17. Freezer stopped working in 4/2019. Samsung said they would do a 1 X free parts - I would have to pay labor (or vice versa). Warranty was up (less than 2 years since purchase). They entered a wrong phone on service request - not just a wrong number but something made up like: 12345678 which cancelled my appointment because service provider could not reach me. Called them back and they told me they were sorry and because of this they would also pay both the labor and parts. Meanwhile I had researched what could have been wrong and found quite a few google answers that people experienced same thing and it was the evaporator motor. I relayed that to service provider so if they brought that part it would be fixed sooner than later. (Side note at this point we also had to buy a freezer so all the food we stocked up on during pandemic didnt end up in the garbage). They fixed it. Several months later both the refrigerator and freezer stopped working. I called Samsung and immediately was told I would have to pay for repair. I questioned it ONLY. But was prepared to pay the $99 for a diagnostic. They put in service ticket and then noticed days later it was cancelled? I called them and they said we cancelled it because you refused to pay. I never refused to pay?!I ended up called the service provider - they sorted it out and I paid them $99 for house call. They diagnosed it as needing some kind of sealer and refrigerant and Samsung has lengthened the time of the warranty of that particular problem (probably must be an ongoing issue). They had to come back a week later. I was also told - it may or may not work. Sure enough end of May freezer died. Service provider could not come out until the 11th of June. Beginning of beginning of June 2020 refrigerator died as well. Had to throw out all perishables. So we got less than 3 years use. One correction - I communicated with Samsung through their CHAT option. I ended up cancelling the appointment today 6/9/20 and taking the loss and ordering a different brand that wont be delivered until 7/13/20. Horrible experience with this refrigerator. Purchase date: 6/10/2017 - Garbage date: 6/9/20.

Ditto on all the above comments. Unfortunately we did not see the reviews before our dishwasher purchase 1 yr ago. Just like others have commented on, dishes werent cleaning, drying, or finishing cycles. And dont forget about all the blue sensor lights flashing all the time without any indication of the problem. Service came out and told us its the Display Unit that needs to be fixed. A $300.00 part, even though we just paid $600.00 for it brand new a yr ago. Contacted customer service to explain our issue, and they said there is nothing they could do and good luck. At the same time they were servicing my Samsung dishwasher, they were trying to fix the Samsung refrigerator that we bought on the same day. REALLY! Both appliances have problems at the same time? How nice for Samsung. So after paying 2 service fees on the same day for 2 appliances, we have decided to throw the dishwasher out in the driveway and put a sign on it saying FREE - Junk. We purchased a set of Samsung appliances at Best Buy as part of a kitchen suite. The dishwasher that came with it (400 series) was absolute garbage. It would not clean the dishes and was displaying error codes. The dishes were more dirty coming out than going in. After a LOT of arguing, and technicians coming out, Samsung agreed to refund us for the dishwasher. We went back to Best Buy and bought the supposedly new and improved version DW80F800UWS with storm wash. It seemed better, but now a few months later were having the same issues again. Now its saying theres a 5E error which is a kinked drain hose. Checked all the hoses and nothing kinked. Technician came out and said machine is fine...then whats the error code for?? I would also be interested in a class action lawsuit as this has been well over a year of going back and forth with Samsung to get a dishwasher that actually washes dishes! Better off washing dishes by hand. Particles stuck to dishes and dirty water sitting on the top of the mugs and bowls. Technician also informed us that the garbage disposal is made of plastic and frequently breaks. My 20 year old Kenmore worked 20 times better than this technologically advanced pile of garbage. Do not buy a samsung dishwasher unless you want a headache to deal with. Their customer service is horrible, theyre rude and claim theyve never heard of any of these issues.

I checked out what it meant on the internet. Found a video for a quick fix. Tried that. It lasted two days now Im having problems with it beeping and telling me to set the power level and turn it on. The 5E code has to do with moisture affecting the display panel. If youre going to make an over the range microwave make it sturdier. Of course theres going to be steam from cooking going up in to the microwave. Samsung should repair this problem for no charge. Not happy at all with these appliances. Please research carefully Samsungs refrigerator before you buy. The french model that we got has ice under the drawer and behind the back panel (a year after we bought the fridge). Samsung said it is not a common problem but research the internet and found many Samsung fridge has the same issues. In 2011, we bought a Samsung dishwasher and French door refrigerator. The dishwasher had problems from the first month, with basket clips breaking, and jamming the jets. They knew this was a widespread problem, but wouldnt switch out our unit. I left negative feedback on their site, which they removed (it was all factual), and sent me a warning email that they would ban me from commenting again. I switched it for an LG (no problems at all). Now, the fridge isnt working. It started making a loud rattling noise this afternoon, and a quick online search showed me that there is a class action lawsuit against them because the twin cooling system freezes over, and your fridge/freezer no longer cool/freeze. Samsung Microwave Model SMH9207ST - I purchased the microwave in October of 2011 from Lowes as part of our total kitchen remodeling. Lowes installed the microwave but I was not satisfied with the looks of it as it there were several paint repairs on the inside white frame. I went to the store and explained my concern to the manager. He sent out a new microwave and prior to installing it, I noticed that there were also visible white paint repairs but not as many as the first one. We agreed to accept the replacement. Post installation, my husband and I did extensive traveling. Given the time we were gone, I would say the microwave was used approximately 1 year. Yesterday, the microwave quit working. Approximately 2 hours later, I checked it again only to notice that it was very, very warm. I unplugged it and then plugged it in again. The lights went back on the panel but it was very noisy. Within 15 seconds, all lights went off again and it did not work again. I opened the door and realized that the glass plate was very hot. We thankfully took an extended warranty on all our new kitchen appliances but I can honestly say that after reading all the negative reviews on this model, I do not feel safe with it. I will definitely unplug it when we leave our residence for extended lengths of time. I would not recommend this model to anyone. Too bad there isnt a Lemon Law for appliances like there is for autos.

Bought a Samsung side by side refrigerator when I moved into my house 3.75 years ago. Nothing but trouble. The ice maker actually still works fine (unlike other reviews); however, several shelves have broke and Ive had to order parts to replace. But the worst issue is at around 2.75 years the refrig just couldnt maintain cold - temp was above 50 degrees F. We had a control sensor installed ($375) and had to turn off unit for 3 days to defrost ice off of the fan blades. Refrigerator than 6 months later starts to not be able to hold cold temps again and temp is again above 50 degrees. But this time the digital thermometer read out on the door is showing that the temp in the refrig is 38 degree. Now were being told we need a new fan assembly (another $400). I could have bought a new refrigerator w/ all the money that has been spent repairing this hunk of junk. STAY AWAY!

The range was purchased September 2012. Within a week the range did not work properly and the Best Buy Geek Squad came to service it. Upon cleaning the oven the letters showing the Samsung Logo immediately peeled off. (My thought is because Samsung was ashamed of the poorly made product they were selling they chose not to be identified with it.) Within the next six months the item was serviced several times due to problems with the stove top as well as the oven not reaching and maintaining the temperature. Now slightly after 3 years the oven is inoperable. The convection does not work. I need to invest money to get it back running. A product costing $999.00 should last a bit longer without all of this maintenance. Does the lemon law apply in this case? I almost feel like it should. Very disappointed with the Samsung product.

Samsung stove burners are defective!!! Once burners are utilized on high, you cannot turn down burner to low to keep food warm - you must remove pan from burner, turn burner completely off and wait for heat to dissipate before putting back on low and returning pan to burner. You cant walk away for any length of time as pans burn on high!! I am buying a coil burner to cook on as All stoves are built this way. Make sure if you are buying new to get a coil or old fashion stove rather than glass top - although they look great and clean easy, they SUCK!!!

I purchased this about 16 months ago. Loved the ability to make it into 2 ovens. Unfortunately even though its a self cleaning oven it got too hot when it cleaned the oven and fried the electronic board, so I paid 475.00 to fix a almost new stove. Sounds like over heating stoves and phones is a major problem for Samsung.

I have a model RB195BSSB/XAA, serial # **, date of manufacture January 2006. As you read on, you’ll realize problems with Samsung refrigerators do not necessarily depends on their age or on the model. Issues with ice build up both in the refrigerator compartment and in the freezer started almost two years ago, presumably in the spring of 2017 if not sooner. First intervention by a local technician took place in July of 2017. They replaced the drains (after a complete defrost). The problem gradually came back in the matter of few months, and between January and May of this year technicians from another service firm came for a total of five times. They replaced the motherboard, the outside display, the temperature sensor, and cleaned the rear drains one more time. Although ice would not form any longer in the freezer compartment, it started building up again behind the back panel, causing it to bulge (to the point I had to remove one shelf from the door, or it couldn’t close), and under the vegetable/crispers drawer, requiring frequent manual removal. This would happen even after disconnecting completely the water line to the ice maker (which had stopped working). In addition, the lower compartments of the refrigerator would cool too much, slightly below 30 F (around -1 to -2 °C), causing produce to freeze, despite setting the outside display at 40. The freezer temperature is also too low, despite setting it at 4. This after squandering a total of roughly $1,200 for the multiple visits or the various repairmen. Both technicians have given up attempting any further repairs, and they also notified me that their firms have stopped servicing Samsung refrigerators because of unresolvable issues like these. When I recently called the Samsung customer service, at first I was put on the line with a clueless representative; upon insisting to talk with a supervisor, I was referred to a service company, A&E Factory Service, that has abysmal customer ratings on online reviews (I decided not even calling them). Needless to say, I’m mad for having wasted so much money trying to resolve a problem that no one seems to know anything about. Had I known, I would have replaced the refrigerator right away.

I have been a Samsung fan for a long time. For the first time ever we experienced an issue where Samsung was not able to provide us with a reasonable solution. We purchased a Samsung Oven Range in early November 2019. One of our oven knobs broke off in our hand two weeks after the warranty expired. Samsung requires close to $100 for a replacement knob. When I pulled off the other 4 knobs on our oven range I noticed that the neck of one other knob was also cracking. The knob necks are made of plastic. I read reviews on various community chat groups and apparently, there are many Samsung customers who experienced the same problem. If I were to buy all 5 of the Samsung replacement knobs it would literally cost me as much as I paid for the entire oven range new. If Samsung is interested, I found online a very simple inexpensive fix for broken knob necks, which can also be used to prevent future breakage of unbroken knobs. Will be glad to share.

I purchased a Samsung gas stove in September 2020. In January of 2021 my wife and I noticed that the paint and clear coat was chipping off of the stove. I called Samsung to let them know about the problem and after a week and a half of playing phone tag a representative of the company informed me that the chipping paint is NOT covered under the warranty. Now we purchased the extended warranty and still had PLENTY of warranty left but in order for Samsung to fix the paint chipping we would have to PAY for the work. My recommendation is to NOT buy anything from Samsung unless you would like to pay $1300 for a black stainless steel stove only for it to have a 1” paint chip missing after 4 months.

I bought my RSG257AARS side by side refrigerator 4 years ago. Everything was great with it until the compressor stopped working properly and all the coolant leaked. When I called an appliance repair shop they told me that Samsung only lets people who are trained by Samsung repair their fridges. She was very nice and told me where to go to find someone in our service area. Here in the DC/VA/MD area I could initially only find 3 people who would work on my fridge and it took me a week and a half to get an appointment. I lost EVERYTHING in my fridge and freezer. Then, they charged by $300.00 for a visit! Now, less than 90 days later (and the part was only good for 60-day warranty) I am having the SAME problem and now have to call a separate appliance repair place to come fix it, AGAIN! I will NEVER EVER buy another Samsung appliance in my life. The Samsung Customer Service department gives me the runaround. DO NOT BUY A SAMSUNG Appliance. Even if its the cheapest price and you THINK you are getting a good deal. Go with any other brand and save yourself the headaches.

In the past two weeks my Samsung refrigerator has been producing ice underneath the freezer part and I have to defrost a refrigerator from the like the 1950s. My Samsung dishwasher went out and I had to replace it And my top loading Samsung washing machine went out. This is all taking place in the past two weeks and these appliances are less than three years old. To make matters worse my 55 inch plasma Samsung TV went out last night. Samsung needs to make appliances that will last you longer than three years. This is an absolute shame that you can sell your appliances to people and within three years they break down. Samsung needs to stand behind their products and make better products. I will NEVER recommend a Samsung again or buy another one of their products.

Purchased in December 2013. 2 repairs under warranty on dishwasher and still does not work good. Over the oven microwave is in the garbage after burning bacon which burned out the panel. Paid a repair service for call and was quoted 480.00 for repair. 30 days after 1-year warranty. Oven element went out after 20 months and was told by Samsung it was covered. They sent a repair guy out and the part was not on warranty. I paid the service call and called to order the element and was told if the bottom did not work in my dual oven then it was the controller panel. I have been so disappointed in Samsung appliances. I would not recommend them and will let others know about the cheap quality and Samsungs bad customer service.

With 2 people, I hardly think that fridge gets much use but I do stock it with meats and other frozen food. I happen to notice my dog was licking something at the floor at the bottom of the fridge and that is when I noticed the leak was coming from the fridge. I open the freezer and refrigerator and everything is melting. I thought I maybe left the door ajar earlier ? NO, I did not! Who is going to pay for the spoilage now? Is Samsung going to reimburse me for all the food that got wasted? I also got Samsung TVs , Range, Microwave, Dishwasher, the whole works! Am I going to expect those to break down anytime soon?

I got this stove in 2012 and had purchased extended warranty for 3 years. The stove was okay performance wise but scratched too easily. I had other glass cooktops that looked better even after 8, 9 years while this one got all scratched up. And three weeks back the glass top just burst when I was cooking. Thankfully the shards of glass held intact and did not fall in. As per my manual the glass top was covered for 5 years. I call extended warranty that had expired and found out that this was common occurrence with samsung stoves. I register a complaint with Samsung customer service and as per the guy who spoke he will send a service tech to inspect cause as it was still under warranty. I was asked to email pictures which I promptly did. After living 1 week without stove I follow up and was transferred to Executive customer service and the lady who spoke was really rude. She checked my email as I am on phone after asking for date and case # etc and right away says that claim is rejected because it is physical damage and after repeated questioning too could not explain physical damage and proceeded to say it was my fault. I said Ill sue them and she goes on to say I could and send me the response in email as I asked that for legal purposes. She cuts me off and emails that it is my fault hence not covered. I call again and fight my way through the same BS Executive customer service and convince other guy to open new case and send pictures from different angles. After dealing with them for 3 weeks an hour each time on phone they say they cannot honour the warranty and say it is cosmetic scratches that caused the break. How can something that you yourself call cosmetic cause a shattered glass. I will never buy anything samsung ever again. Dont waste your money buying anything made of samsung. They have no integrity and make ** products and wont even honour their own warranty.

On Feb.16, 2009, we purchased a 30 Samsung electric stove AND a 5 year warranty. Almost immediately, we knew we had a problem. We spent the entire 5 years of warranty, having repairmen from A & E Factory Service (Sears) come put bandaids on this very expensive stove ($1508 without the warranty cost). When the extended warranty ran out in February of 2014 the stove had all the same problems it had as a new stove. Since then, I always set the temperature too high (because it never reaches the temperature I set it at). I bought a good oven thermometer to put in the oven which I watch by shining a flashlight through the glass in the oven door, adjusting the temperature throughout the baking period. You see, I cant trust the oven to go to the temperature I need. The beeper that is supposed to tell you when the oven is hot enough to bake your food beeps when the oven is at least 100 degrees lower than I have set it for. This oven has ruined so many things I have tried to bake, including a ham that I served partly raw without realizing it. NEVER BUY SAMSUNG PRODUCTS!! I seriously cringe when I see full page ads for Samsung appliances. I will NEVER buy another one. But think of all those poor people who WILL! (We purchased the stove from a store in Loveland Colorado called Ji and Daves Appliance, Inc. which is no longer in business).

We upgraded to a stainless steel Samsung gas range two years ago. I loved it at first... it was pretty and new, however at the one year anniversary I noticed that the bottom pan of the oven was cracking and peeling. I contacted Samsung, but alas, we were one week out of warranty but they would be happy to send us a new part for 79.00 plus installation. I said “No thank you,” because I might have to order a number of these because they only last one year. Upon cleaning my stove about two months ago, I noticed that the knobs are all cracked and one is broken... the plastic shaft (that is painted to look like metal) all defective. Probably due to the fact that they are in metal knobs… attached to metal shaft and the exhaust from the oven is directly below the knobs. So! I called Samsung and received the usual mantra that the range is out of warranty, but they would be happy to send me some more to the tune of $55.00 per knob plus shipping. I was on the phone for at least 45 minutes, but receiving no satisfaction. THEN! I got call from customer service a week later, that they would indeed give me a one time warranty on the knobs and to expect them to come shortly. I was really happy and looking forward to the knobs arriving. Well... we are one month out from receiving the call that they would replace the knobs, so I called Samsung to follow up. After sitting on the phone for another 45 minutes, I was told that Customer Service had sent the order to the parts department and the parts department denied the claim. Of course, no one called or emailed me.So, they told me I could order new ones. No thank you! Two weeks ago I was going to bake an item, and my oven would not heat up. We purchased the extended warranty from (H.H. Gregg… who is currently out of business!) so I called the warranty company who sent out a service man who replaced the oven igniter. The service man told me that most ovens are made this way... the bottom plate chips and cracks... the knobs break and crack... and to be on the watch for the convection fan because that will be the next thing. My Samsung refrigerator was out of order. I booked complaint no.** at their toll free no. The engineer came and replaced my relay part. He charged me. The refrigerator worked and there was proper cooling. Next day I noticed current in the body of the fridge. I called again. The service engineer came again. He told me that my compressor is faulty and you will have to pay rs.8500 for new compressor. I told him that my 165 liter fridge is not worth that much. Samsung engineers are not interested in repair. Later I discovered there was minor problem.

Per Samsung, some microwaves out of warranty had to be repaired as they displayed an SE error. Samsung sent someone to fix the microwave, which worked for about two weeks before again had the same problem. As there was a death in the family and I did not call back within 30 days of the first visit, they said they will send a technician to replace the bad part they put in but I would have to pay the labor but not for the part. Instead will trash the microwave.Just glad this happened before I bought the new Samsung refrigerator, dishwasher, washer, and dryer I had picked out for delivery later this month. Will not buy any Samsung product again as they forgot what customer service means. And when I asked to speak to a supervisor, the man simply kept putting me on hold for more than 30 minutes but would return every 4 minutes to say the supervisor would be on the phone shortly. I consider it a waste of time to deal with Samsung consumer department and a waste of money to buy their products.

Have 2-year-old Samsung side-by-side refrigerator. Ice maker doesnt make enough ice for 2 people. After a month or two, it dies all together. Have it repaired 4 times. Every repair lasts a month or two. I have 2 Samsungs at work - both of them have ice maker problems too. I had to buy an external ice maker and GIVE UP ON SAMSUNG making ice (the fridge is fine, no complaints with that). I would not buy a Samsung again.

Purchased the refrigerator less than year ago and have had nothing but trouble with it. Ice maker doesnt work half of the time. Rarely puts out whole ice cubes and if it does put ice out it’s crushed beyond recognition. We have to constantly take the ice maker apart and clean up the ice buildup. Works for a few days and stops up again. We have to use a plastic container in the freezer for ice, or we wouldnt have any! NEVER BUY ANOTHER SAMSUNG PRODUCT, The Dishwasher doesnt work right either.

Doors are rusted and pitted and they refuse to send me new or fix. Samsung is a terrible company to deal with. They just talk and talk. Two years ago I purchased a Samsung refrigerator (model #RS267TDRS). About a year after we bought it, we started to have problems with it NOT COOLING. Well needless to say, today it officially BROKE and all of our food has SPOILED. I immediately contacted Samsung and I spoke with Tiffany ** (operator #**) and Shonda ** (operator #**) of their customer service department. She told me that there is nothing that she can do to replace the refrigerator because it is out of warranty. After pleading with her that I have three small children under the age of five who need to have access to milk, juice and medication that requires refrigeration, she told me that she would schedule a service call (ticket #**). The problem is that I live in a rural part of Virginia. They wont be able to come to look at the refrigerator for a few weeks, let alone fix it on the spot or that it would be covered since it probably would be something that is not under their warranties. I need help! I cannot wait this long to get it looked at! I have already lost $500 worth of groceries and if I replace it with new food, we dont have a way to store that food. Please if someone at Samsung is reading this, take action to HELP ME. I am writing this post in hopes that someone at Samsung will see this and be able to get me a real resolution to this problem because I dont know what to do (maybe exchange for another used model or even a new one?). I currently work for the Marine Corps and we cant afford to buy another $1,500 refrigerator, especially since this one was purchased brand new 24 months ago from Lowes. I dont like dropping the we are a military family moniker, but the fact is I am a veteran who needs help. Again Samsung, please help! I am desperate since as a veteran, we dont make the type of money that most other families do. Not that any American family makes enough money to keep replacing refrigerators every two years. To be fair, I will update everyone if there is an amicable resolution to this issue.

I purchased a Samsung refrigerator 18 months ago at Lowes for $2000.00 and it was a french door fridge. It stopped getting cold so I got on Samsung website and found a repairman at The Appliance Doctor. They sent a man out and he looked at the fridge and said it is not worth fixing. It needs a computer and two other parts. He continued to say Samsung are junk and it will break again. I then called another well known appliance repair center and they also told me that they do not work on Samsung products. They stated they cant get parts for them. So then I contacted Samsung and that was like talking to my dog. Very unhelpful. I went out and replaced this a Whirlpool.

To begin with, it is a great microwave for the great price offered. It is small and does not take a lot of space on your counter as a lot of them are big which limits rooms for other things you might want to do with your counter space. It has a turn knob which is easy to function and does its thing until the time is up for it to stop. I got back issues and it is just right for someone like me and easy to do in one shot. I like the product I got and I hope to have helped out in this review for the rest of you.

I built my new home in September of 2020. I purchased new appliances the Samsung hub refrigerator as well as the black stainless steel gas duo smart oven. After having and using the stove for about 11 months I notice that there were areas where the appliance was peeling. I was confused as to why stainless steel was peeling only to find out that the black stainless steel is a layer of paint. I reached out to Samsung as well as Best Buy because I did purchase the extended warranties only to be told that this was a cosmetic issue and there was nothing that they could do about it. After being told this from both parties I was devastated. I have spent 7k on these appliances and theyre starting to look like crap. It has come to my knowledge that this is a common problem and there are a ton of consumers in the same boat as me. Samsung should be ashamed of its business practices. It is obvious that the craftsmanship of their black stainless steel is not up to par. As a consumer that works hard for my money what makes you think that I would pay so much for a product that starts to peel within a year of having it. As a consumer there was no disclosure of any indication that that could/would be the case. Otherwise I would have just opted for the regular stainless steel and not the black stainless steel. It is mind-boggling that Samsung treats their consumers this way after we send our hard-earned money to only end up with defective products that they are not willing to replace.

Purchased a Samsung convection microwave oven for 299 Sing dollars and the very first day I wanted to bake muffins. Heavy smoke came out of the oven and filled the whole kitchen and spread to other rooms. I panicked and switched off and called the company. They said the technician can come only after two days. Then the technician arrived and said the coil has gone and replaced it. By then, the back of the oven looked all burned out. I wanted a replacement as it was on extended warranty, but the repair person said that it will not have any more issues. Tried to bake again, this time, the cake was not cooked in the middle, only the sides were cooked and it was all a mess. My previous oven was Sharp convection, used it for 9 years without any problem. I will never buy the Samsung oven again and will not recommend to anyone.

We purchased the RF32FMQDBSR/AA 4 door flex zone fridge, from Conns furnishings, in April 2014. We didnt even get 6 months of use from it by the time the ice maker quit working. I called Samsung support, if you want to call it that. They had me go through steps to defrost it and reset the ice maker. It worked for a few weeks, then did the same thing again. I tried to get them to send out a service tech to see if there was an actual problem, while the fridge was under warranty. They would not do it. They said it just needed to be maintained by us. I got tired of the run around from Samsung, so I left it at that. We can live without an ice maker, because by the time Samsung actually wanted to do something about it, our warranty had expired. Imagine that!!!Now, our new problem. A few weeks ago, we noticed milk and food spoiling in the fridge. We thought it had just expired or something, but it had not. The fridge was not cooling past 60 degrees. The front panel said it was 35 degrees, but when I reset the panel it showed the actual temp of 63. No wonder food is spoiling. I called a service tech myself, because I thought our warranty was out. They listened to the symptoms and didnt even send someone out. They told me to contact Samsung, as it was a problem with the sealed system, and it is still under the 5 year warranty. So, I called Samsung. After 3 different phone calls and 3 different ticket numbers, they sent out their contracted service techs. The tech concluded, after a couple of hours of work, that the problem was in the sealed system. I asked him if it can be fixed, and he said he didnt know of anybody that can fix it, due to the flammable refrigerant they used in these systems. Now, Im waiting on Samsung to get their head out of their collective **, and do something about this, as weve been without a fridge for going on 4 weeks now. I will never buy another Samsung product as long as I live.

2 year old refrigerator started making noise last October. We unplugged it for a couple days and read that the fan motor freezes up. So we thawed the fridge & sound went away and temp seemed fine. Then the last couple months food began expiring before expiration dates. Milk was curdled, dog treats moldy - were the obvious signs. Reading this website I knew that it was frozen motor. So I followed you tube instructions of how to remove back panel and got my hair dryer out and melted the 3 x 4 of ice block that totally encased my fan motor, coils and wiring. My question is, how is Samsung going to remedy this from happening again? How can this be acceptable? We should all be getting free service replacement parts from Samsung! I will never buy a Samsung anything and advise everyone to do the same! !

We use our microwave for cooking and reheating. We have had it for three yrs and it has always performed perfectly. We bought it as upgrade in stainless and it looks great in our kitchen! It is the largest microwave I have ever owned by far, but the main reason I purchased was the online ratings and reviews. My wife is as close to a five star chef as there is, but she works long hours sometimes. I point this out because she preps meals a week in advance for our family, so the microwave is used daily.

My side-by-side Samsung refrigerator, model RS265TDRS, was purchased in December 2010, so its about 3.5 years old. Very expensive unit. It started making noise sounding like a generator - so loud, I was afraid something was breaking in there. When I opened the refrigerator door it would stop, then start again when the door was closed. We moved the food into another refrigerator and freezer, unplugged this unit, and made arrangements with Samsung for a service call. (That itself was an adventure: Samsung rep never responded to email; the phone number in the refrigerator manual was for mobile phone service; the online form for a service request didnt work under several browsers. Finally used live chat and had the chat rep fill out the service request for me.)Two weeks later, I plugged in the unit in preparation for the service techs visit. No noise. The service tech called me to confirm the appointment, then suggested we cancel the service call, because (a) with no noise, he cant really diagnose a problem; (b) chances are it was just ice build-up and may never happen again; (c) removing the panel to get at the fan means removing all tech, because everything is attached to the panel, and that means replacing the panel because you cant just put it back on after its been taken off; and (d) something like his labor and the panel wouldnt be covered by warranty anyway after 3.5 years. These are expensive refrigerators. I like lots of things about it, but I think its ridiculous that I should have to unplug my refrigerator every now and then to make sure ice doesnt build up, and its ridiculous that this problem wouldnt be covered under a warranty. For anyone who has the same fan-sounds-like-a-generator problem, unplug it for a while and save yourself the hassle of getting in touch with Samsung. Im really hoping this solves the problem.

Houseful of Samsung Appliances and now I am stuck. Microwave takes forever to boil a cup of water for tea. Cheap handle broke off after 2 years. Dishwasher doesnt clean dishes, you must basically wash by hand before you put them in. French door refrigerator crapped under 3 yrs. Paid over $900 to fix. Icemaker was part of that fix, now a little over a year it stopped working again. Stove knobs all broke off gas stove... under 3 yrs old. Also dont bother using the cleaning mode on your gas stove. Its known to get so hot it fries the circuit board. Costly repair I had on that one.Washer tears clothes and cant use bleach anymore because it goes through the compartment prematurely and blotches my load. TVs lasted no more than 3 years and my phone sucks. I have wasted so much money let alone time waiting for service people to show... or not to show. Customer service... a total joke. Never willing to resolve issues. I have over $8000 in home appliances and electronics that, unfortunately dont know when they will see their day. But when its time, Samsung will never again be my choice. Cant afford to buy junk anymore. But they dont care. They got my money. Dont let them get yours!

I just fixed it. Next dreaded SE code put card board in between ribbon. Okay back in service. Yesterday while heating water for warming of twins milk, thing dies completely. POTENTIAL SAFETY HAZARD: Samsung dw80f600uts Dishwasher - This has been the worst appliance experience ever. Dishwasher worked fine for about the first 18 months. Then, on occasion, it would give an error code (Smart Auto and Heavy would flash). If we stopped and restarted it, it would usually run through the cycle. We are a family of only 2 adults, so we are not hard on it, nor do we run it more than 1 to 2 times per week due to handwashing some dishes (as the dishwasher cycle is VERY LONG... like 3 hours)! This morning the dishwasher stopped and gave error message, I tried to stop and restart. No luck. Then, while I had the door open, it started on its own!! (ID CALL THIS A SAFETY HAZARD). With all the complaints about this unit, I would think that Samsung would do a recall, or an optional recall, so at least those with issues can get unit corrected on Samsungs dime. We are choosing not to pay to have it fixed, as the reviews show that most have had to have fixed multiple times. Would rather buy a different brand than invest more in this faulty model.
