I bought this refrigerator in the month of Jan and then in June and July the ice maker froze and stopped producing ice. I contacted the help desk and they said as it was in warrranty they will fix and raised a support ticket. Now the service center which they are hooked up gave me a service date of more than a month which means I wont be able to use it for a month. So spoke to them again and they hooked me to another which was supposed to come after 7 days, now I waited for them for 7 days. Stayed at home so that I dont miss them but no-one came to fix. Now I again chatted with support and same thing, We have prioritized your ticket and they will get back. No resolution. Then they give me another date of 13 days from the day I am posting this ticket. So in short Samsung doesnt have any control over their partners. So before buying their product do think about service as well.

We bought this fridge in 10/2008 when we remodeled our kitchen. The valve has been leaking a while according to the insurance adjuster who denied our claim because of the length of time it leaked and because the valve is defective we are now looking at having to replace valve, floor 2 cabinets and some subfloor. We bought this appliance knowing it would be great. We have many Samsung items and like the quality. But we are disappointed that this happened. We are struggling with life as it is my husband was diagnosed with Arachnoiditis in 2014 and had to go on disability. In June 2016 he had a brain stem stroke and I had to quit work to care for him 24/7. So coming up with the money to repair this while leaving off of disability will be rough. But I dont want my fridge to fall thru the floor. Help is needed, requested and prayed for.

Had the Samsung refrigerator a little over a month and the ice maker stopped working. Called customer service who ran me through 15 minutes of tests then said a technician would call within 48 hours to come out and repair the fridge. Two days later after not getting a call, I called Samsung again and was informed that the last person I talked to must have forgot to assign a technician. I was then instructed to run through the same 15 minutes of tests and told (once again) a technician would call within 48 hours. The next day a Samsung representative called and while I assumed he was the technician calling to set up an appointment, he told me that no, he was in the product dept and was just calling to see if my ice maker was still broken. The only purpose for his call was to inform me that it would be ANOTHER 48 hours for a technician to call me.When I asked if the technician would call over the weekend, he responded that some work weekends, some dont. I asked to speak to his manager and he told me his manager was unavailable. Three days later and seven days after my initial call a local technician finally called me. He instructed me to push buttons on my freezer that I did not have and besides the fact that he sounded 12, he was completely confused as to which model I had and told me an engineer would call me back. When I asked how long that would take he said he didnt know, the engineer was in the field. As of the time of this review my freezer is still broken, there is no set time for the technician to come out and I have wasted my time on the phone with this horrible, incompetent company. I will NEVER buy another Samsung product again and can honestly say this is one of the WORST companies I have ever dealt with.

I purchased a Samsung refrigerator in 2010. I had an extended warranty on the fridge. During the 5 years of the warranty I had to have it repaired 6 times for the same problem which is the back keeps freezing up and will not defrost. For the last 2 years I bought another warranty from Sears. They came out every 4 months to defrost and replace the fan and the defrost sensor. I called Samsung and they refuse to give me my money back for the unit. The customer service is horrible. So if you have any sense DONT BUY. I paid $1,995 for this model. Now they are stating they will only give me $427.00 because it has depreciated in the seven years of owning it.

From owning a Samsung TV we felt we could trust the brand by buying a dishwasher from the company. How wrong can one be. It seems they have no idea how a simple dishwasher works. Darn thing runs for over 2 hours and the dishes dont come out very clean. We have to prewash them which is a real bummer. UNCLEAN stuff collects under the door frame at the bottom of the washer which needs to be wiped off. It was black like mold. This is a box that is supposed to clean and stay clean and it isnt. Id expect the company recall these units as they are not healthy. We paid a lot of money for this poorly designed machine and I am thinking about taking it back to Best buy whom I bought it from. Not their problem as they just carry the brand. .

Just a note to say that it is beyond me how a giant company like Samsung can sell such sub par products and allow themselves to disappoint millions of customers with their extremely horrible customer service. I cant even count how many bad reviews there are out there about numerous Samsung Refrigerator models, not to mention all the other product issues as well. We too purchased a terrible fridge model RF267 and have been dealing with the ice maker freeze up and water leaking among other things for years. Its appalling to me that Samsung can let this go on and on for years on end. If a company refuses to build a good product and refuses to be held accountable for their lack of knowledge in engineering and complete disregard for customer satisfaction, they should no longer be in business. Bye bye Samsung... The electronic world is far too competitive. Its only a matter of time before what you have dished out comes back to you.

I bought a 4 piece package consisting of Refrigerator, Dishwasher, Stove and Microwave. The Microwave was delivered with a scratch down the front. It will take 8 weeks to re-order. The Dishwasher requires a special water valve that ONLY Samsung sells separately. ie: You need a Samsung installer to deal with the issue since Home Depot, Lowes and local hardware stores have never seen this type of valve. The stove top blister after the first time. After a visit from their tech people they stated.... Thats the way it works and its normal. So after three meals, the top burners look like its 15 years old. Its a piece of crap. Dealing with their customer service is a joke. The only word they know is NO.

Last summer, I called Samsung and told them what was wrong. They told me to call a repairman and they were not liable for it cause it was not under warranty. This is a manufacturing defect and is happening to a high amount of refrigerators. After paying $200 to get it fixed, six months later, the same problem occurred. Can the government get involved in this matter? Thank You.

Aside from plastic being left under all seals when delivered and being very noisy, the bottom of the freezer has to be defrosted every few weeks when a sheet of ice builds up under the drawers. After a few weeks water slides down the ice floe and leaks onto the floor. We have tile and when its wet it becomes very slippery. Weve complained but finally gave up but this morning my husband slipped on the wet tile. This is a design flaw or defect but it is out of warranty. My bad but thought I should add to the complaints on this site. We have been very satisfied with phones, TVs and such but will never buy another Samsung anything unless this problem is remedied.

I bought my Samsung oven in June 2019. I self cleaned it a year later and everything seems to be working fine. I tried to self clean this year in September and all of a sudden it stopped in just about 20 minutes, then I tried to do it again and it stopped again. I tried it the next day but the same thing happen again. I got an error code that the fans are not cooling enough. I had to wait and still waiting this day for ABT to fix the problem. The biggest problem is not that, after I self cleaned this time I got a spot inside the oven that looks like a stain but its not. I tried to clean it but its getting bigger and bigger every time I touch it. By the way this happened after the self clean because I never had it before and it looks like as of the paint is starting to peel. The second problem that I have encountered with this range is that ever since I started using the middle burner, the paint started to peel around it as well. Just a reminder this is only 2 years old range.I called Samsung twice and they promised me that someone will come out to help me with the problem. They gave me one time complimentary warranty since the manufacturer warranty is only for 1 year. I also had to tell the customer service people that if there is nothing that they can do about it, dont waste my time and send someone here, and the guy told me, NO. They will be able to help you. A tech came out and looked at it and then he had to call his boss and show him what was happing to our oven and top of the stove, then guess what he tells me? I am sorry, but this is cosmetic and its not covered, and thats what I didnt want to hear. I was so frustrated, and pissed off. What a waste of my time.I called the customer service and the lady told me that she is sorry that this had happen to me and there is nothing anybody can do for me at this time. I have never in my life had such an experience, and had to write a bad review about any company. I used to think Samsung was good, not anymore. I dont recommend it for anyone to buy it. I wish I had done some research before buying.

This Samsung Range model (NE63T8711SG/AA) was purchased in February. Loaded with features as well as the oven compartment having an air fryer and dehydrator. 3 weeks after we purchased the $2000.00 range my wife decided to use the Air Fryer to make wings. The fan in the oven blew grease all over the oven coating the entire enamel surface with grease and the entire house was engulfed in smoke. Took us three days to clean off the caked on grease. Needless to say we will never use the Air Fry feature again. A few days later we tried to make a spaghetti dish. Not wanting to have caked on mess on the bottom we put aluminum in the oven. The oven melted the aluminum and is fused to the enamel surface of the oven. We have tried everything to get it off. Needless to say after calling Samsung, they will not help us with this issue at all. The Range is only 3 months old and the oven has been used a total of three times and they wont help us. Besides this problem we have found that the burner knobs are so touchy that barely bumping them or leaning against the oven slightly will turn the burners on. The burners protrude past the range. Very dangerous! Beware of this oven!

Like so many reviewers, we had the same problem with the twin cooling system. We bought the refrigerator from Lowes in October of 2009 on sale. Up until this problem, we were very happy with the refrigerator. Several months ago, the fridge started to make a lot of noise. What the...? Then, I noticed that our milk went bad, before the expiration date. So, my husband used an instant thermometer (therma pen) and our milk was at 58 degrees. Samsung tech support tried to troubleshoot, and blamed our thermometer as the problem! Really? My husband did a lot of internet research, and discovered a video on YouTube on how to fix the problem. Apparently, theres a problem with the coil in the twin cooling area that heats up any ice build-up (Im not mechanic/engineer, so Im explaining as simplified as I can). We emptied the refrigerator and he opened up the twin cooler. There was so much ice build up inside and the motor was frozen solid! No wonder it quit cooling! This is not covered under warranty (ours had expired anyway, though we bought an extended warranty). Using a blow dryer, he patiently thawed out the area and the tube and inserted a copper wire (that the YouTube video said would fix the problem). When he put all the parts back in, the motor started up again! Lets just hope this fix is what the YouTuber swears works. I sure hope so, or were going to have bought another refrigerator. Im happy with our Samsung laptops and TVs, but never again would I buy a Samsung refrigerator! Ill try and update if this is a permanent fix, but its worth a try.

Somehow in spending $2,000 on a Samsung refrigerator three years ago we missed seeing reviews about the icemaker. After using a hairdryer and scraper every two weeks the past year and a half, I sympathize with those experiencing serious issues. We recently purchased Samsung Dishwasher Model #DW80K5050 that seemed visually fine on delivery. When we attempted to install it a week later, there was internal damage not visible from the outside. Samsung sent a rep to confirm the DW had likely been dropped to cause multiple internal issues. When we shared this with Build.com, they said they had no responsibility since damage was not reported in their 24-48 hr window EVEN THOUGH DAMAGE WAS INTERNAL and COULD NOT BE DETECTED FROM THE OUTSIDE. And when we reached out to Samsung they said their warranty doesnt cover new appliances that had never operated (i.e. delivered broken). So we are stuck with a yet to be installed dishwasher for which we just ordered replacement parts at our expense. I would avoid buying from Build.com that was unwilling to correct this situation despite nearly $20,000 of appliance purchases from them the past year alone. And I would also avoid purchasing Samsung appliances based on their customer service, or lack thereof.

I called Lowes for service and they arrived three days later. The freezer quit cooling and also the refrigerators 4 compartment unit. They said it was low on freon, but problem is it takes 4 to 8 hours to cool and freeze. 12 hours after done it finally got to proper temps (-2 and 38). 6 hours later I unplugged it to move back where it was and when I plugged back in, the temp on the freezer went to 52 degrees and refrigerator to 52 degrees. After two hours the refrigerator is back to 38 degrees. Freezer is still 52 degrees. This doesnt sound like a good scenario because if the power goes off, it will do it again which everything in the freezer will thaw.

I not only dont recommend this product, but I also would suggest that you avoid Samsung products altogether. We purchased a dryer with matching washer and have had multiple problems with them. After six technician visits we still dont have a fully working washer or dryer and to make things worse they have told us we need to pay if we want another technician visit. I sent the following email to Samsungs supposed executive customer relations department as well as directly to the Samsung US CEO, it was completely ignored by them.Up until just recently I have been a huge fan of Samsung products. I have owned or currently own monitors, mobile phones, washers, dryers, and TVs. I have been a loyal customer but my most recent purchase has me awestruck. About four months ago we purchased a SmartCare VRT laundry set. The day after it was installed we woke to find our home with a strong smell of gas. I determined it was coming from the laundry room and suspected the laundry appliance installation was at fault. We called Samsung for service and a technician was sent out. The technician investigated the gas leak and informed me that the gas lines to our new home were leaking and not one of the Samsung appliances. I called the gas company and when they arrived they found that there was a gas leak, but it wasn’t in the house lines. It was coming from the dryer. We called Samsung a second time. When the technician performed the second appointment he acknowledged that the dryer was leaking and scheduled another appointment to replace the faulty part. Three visits from the Samsung technician and finally we get a working dryer after two weeks. A few months later my wife started complaining about the washer stopping and throwing an error in the middle of hot water loads. After it happened a few times I told her to call Samsung for repair. The technician came out and spent about thirty minutes with the washer. He eventually called me in and told me that it has hot water and that there wasn’t much he could do. I informed the technician that when my wife pointed out the issue I recalled an error message “4C” being displayed when the wash would stop functioning and constantly beep with the error message. After basically living with a washer that won’t use hot water cycles for a couple of weeks my wife noticed that the dryer wasn’t drying clothes normally. We called Samsung again and informed them that our washer was still malfunctioning and now the dryer was not working well either. This time before the appointment I spent a couple of hours recording video on my phone of the 4C error and erratic behavior of the washer. The next day the technician arrived and spent about fifteen minutes with the dryer. The technician informed me that we shouldn’t use specific features (smart features like auto dry) on our dryer and that we should use timed dry. I was told that although the dryer had some warmth that there is heat so the dryer is working fine but at no time did the technician check the temperature with, how does he know if it’s getting up to proper temperature? Yeah, the dryer gets warm but not hot, in fact not even close to hot. When I mentioned the washer and show the technician the video of the malfunction, I was told it wasn’t on the work order and even though we called for service for it and had video of the malfunction that it could not be looked at because it wasn’t on the service order. Tonight, I followed the technician’s instructions and used the time dry to dry a handful of clothes. After one hour the clothes on high heat with eco dry turned off the clothes were still quite wet. The dryer clearly doesn’t work as it did a month ago. The technician also recommended cleaning our ducts but seriously it’s a six-month-old home and my wife does maybe three loads a week for two people, so the equipment is hardly being overworked much less should I have a duct problem. I also noticed that my wife is very good about cleaning the dryer lint catcher. She does it every load from what I see. I hate to ramble on but as you can see this has been nothing less than an adventure and a complete waste of my time not to mention the time off from work involved in six technician visits that didn’t result in our appliances being fixed. I recently posted all this information to the Samsung Facebook page and it was completely ignored for a week which is simply insulting at this point.

After I called and left a message and waited 2 days. Another week for the appointment. The service tech never called to confirm and I waited all day. Samsung slide-in, glass cooktop over oven, Model NE58F9710WS - We have been using the range for approximately one year and are generally satisfied with its performance. However, it poses a SERIOUS FIRE and BURN HAZARD. The burner controls are on the front, only 33 inches above the floor, and are easily and OFTEN turned on simply by brushing against them. If there were children in our household, I would have to replace the Samsung with a safer range. We are very careful to not leave anything on the stovetop. Recently though, I was on my knees cleaning the oven when I felt heat coming from the cooking surface. I had momentarily placed the oven partition there and it was now fused to the cooktop. Unknowingly, I had accidentally bumped a control knob with my shoulder. When I lifted the (smoking) partition, it took a dime-sized divot out of the glass top. I accept responsibility for the damage, but this would not have happened if the controls were not as exposed and so easily activated. Now we must shell out several hundred dollars for a repair! Theres an electronic lock-out for the oven controls, why not something similar for the cooktop?

We purchased our Samsung French door refrigerator from Lowe’s. I thought I had done research. Every single piece of plastic in this refrigerator is cracking or has already broken. We are not rough on our appliances. Despite the care that we use, every door been has been replaced twice. I currently have no door bins to use. Any indication that there is too much weight in the Dawbin is undermined by the fact that they are “designed to hold a gallon of milk“. I cannot even keep condiments in the door bins without cracking. The freezer bins have cracked at the joints. The refrigerator is also designed that is difficult to take apart to clean should there be a spill. This is a the worst product I have ever purchased.

I phoned the repair station to where I was suppose to send the stove, it was 1 1/2 hours away and it would go right by one of their other stores only 40 minutes from our home. Next e-mail gave me the 1-800 number to phone again, they would help me. And the circle of denial has begun again. There is no honor here because they have not honored their contract (warranty) with the consumer.

I purchased two Samsung ranges in 2012 for my small cafe. I just wanted them for baking. I know any commercial use would void the warranty, but I believed I would get several good years out of the ovens for a 1200 dollar range. One night that winter 2012/2013 I was sitting at the counter late at night doing bookkeeping. I was baking at about 400-425 degrees, when I heard a loud pop and saw one of the ranges on fire in the rear. I grabbed the fire extinguisher and started putting out the flames when I realized these being electric just pulling the plug would probably solve the problem… I did, and the fire went out (I did have an awful mess of chemicals to clean up). I researched the problem on the internet and found this to be a common problem with Samsung ranges. I was and still am mad. For a large corporation to put such junk for sale, I am incredulous. Ive let the thing sit for almost a year, and am going to finally call someone to give me an estimate to fix, so I can fix or junk. I tell everyone I come in contact with not to buy Samsung anything. The other range is still used never over 350 degrees.

Samsung sent 2 replacements that were damaged! So, I had to start all over with this company. I have yet to have a resolution. Do NOT buy a Samsung product! By far the worst customer experience ever!

We have had this refrigerator for 5 years. Actually, the freezer and refrigerator work fine, but after 1st year the ice maker would build up ice crystals and then quit making ice. Have tried numerous times to fix it and nothing lasts. A few months ago water started leaking from underneath the refrigerator too. Samsung definitely needs to fix this issue!

Purchased this microwave in 2010. Last night my SE error came on. Contacted Samsung today after reading all the reviews and was told there was no warranty on this model or recall and that Samsung was not responsible. I just had to replace my dishwasher that I have only had for 3 years that was a Samsung and also my Samsung refrigerator that is only 5 years old is also having problems. I have never experienced a company that does not stand by their products or their customers. I think everyone should just boycott this crappy company and their crappy products.

We purchased a Samsung dishwasher in March of 2014. It is now Sept 2015 and the dishwasher has broken down 6 times (7 counting the fact that it is currently not working). Weve been in contact with Samsung multiple times. Was told to fax all receipts of repairs and orig receipt of purchase. We did that only to be told there was nothing they could do. We definitely bought a lemon. We have found that PA has a lemon law and we are checking into that avenue. We feel that Samsung company should have replaced this appliance, but they kept saying it had to break down with the same issue 3 times in a certain period of time before they would replace. The issues were sometimes different. We would never purchase another Samsung dishwasher - or any Samsung product.

We bought a Samsung Model No. RF263BEASER 25.6 Cu. Ft. Refrigerator from Best Buy in Denver area in June 2013. The ice maker was OK initially but started giving trouble later. In Dec 2014, we had to call the Samsung repair service company (A & E Factory Service Thornton, CO) to make the ice maker work. The service company told us the Ice maker needed to be replaced. It is costing me $466 to get a new ice maker installed. This has never happened to me before with a refrigerator. I think the quality of the refrigerator is inferior and I will not recommend it at all.

Do not buy a Samsung Refrigerator!!! Major defects in it! The company pays people to give great reviews about this product! The repair guy told me so because he used to work there. Had ice maker replaced (so called fixed) a motor is running loudly since & theres a chemical odor coming from refrigerator and the only way to stop that noise is to reset ice maker. Then will come on again with the odor, I poured a glass of iced tea and it tastes like the smell... a sweet burnt smell if this makes any sense. Buying a new one but wont be this brand. Its not even two yrs old!

Good day, I am writing to you today in regards to an ongoing issue that I have been having with my fridge and the lack of customer service I have been receiving from Samsung. My transaction # **. My fridge was bought in 2012 and I have been having major issues with it since 2014. In 2014 I had to replace the main board because it completely shut down. A few months later, it started making loud noises and leaking from the bottom. As I had just spent $1,100 on the fridge in 2012 and another $425 in 2014 including parts and labor, I was hoping these issues were manageable. Recently it has not been cooling properly and I have lost a lot of food. I have been in contact with numerous departments within Samsung in the past couple of weeks and I did manage to get someone have a Samsung-approved company come out and diagnose it at no charge. When the company came out, they determined that the fridge needed 6 parts and the total including labor would be $628. I am extremely frustrated and disappointed with this issue as Samsung is supposed to be of high quality and should stand behind their products. I understand that my product is out of the 1 year warranty but lets be honest, Im looking at having to spend a total of over $1000 in less than 5 years on what is supposed to be a quality product. I am seeking help from Samsung in the cost of fixing my fridge and they all say that there is absolutely nothing they can do for me. I am a loyal Samsung customer with my fridge, washer, TV, Blu-ray and cell phones being Samsung. I am in desperate need of help as soon as possible as I have 2 disabled people that have meds that have to be refrigerated and a 2-year old.

I purchased a French Door Samsung refrigerator. The refrigerator is dripping water down the inside back wall which pools under the crisper drawers and freezes. The first time I realized this the ice was nearly two inches thick and the drawers were hard to open. I called the company while at work, to discuss the issue and the representative input the phone # I called from and called me by a coworkers name, gave me their home address and phone number and began to discuss their previous concerns. This was private information and I asked for his supervisor. He would not allow me to reach the supervisor and I disconnected the call after 15 minutes of continuous requesting. That began my customer service problems. I contacted Lowes because I bought the item there with the extended warranty. Many hours, calls, and visits to the store later, they couldnt locate the warranty at first, and finally informed me that the warranty had expired and they could send a repairman out at my cost. I explained the problem being a manufacture defect. Per the Lowes manager, my model has not been reported as having the issue, but several other models have been reported with this problem. Turns out that you can pay $299 of $4000 for an appliance and the warranty Lowes provides is one year. Higher cost does not mean better quality or service.Back to the refrigerator... I was able to locate a video on YouTube of a gentleman taking the inside of the same model refrigerator apart to thaw/defrost the drain tube so the water would not pool inside the refrigerator. This self-repair job is not what I purchased when I paid $2000 for the item. I believe Samsung should be sued on our behalf by our government and banned from selling products in the United States. Where is the consumer protection in this country and why isnt something being done about the junk Samsung is allowed to sell in the U.S.? I will never purchase another item from Samsung! EVER! I hate to think of the damage they will continue to do to the consumers. The organization is out for huge dollars and based on the rating of 1 star, they are not interested in keeping the consumer. After all, the original sale is where they get the big bucks! My advice to all consumers is NEVER BUY SAMSUNG PRODUCTS, PERIOD!!! I will continue to share my experience any way possible to prevent as many people from becoming victims of this company scam.

It was part of a package deal refrigerator, range microwave, and dishwasher for $5200. 9 months ago the repair service changed the master board for $300. If you are considering purchasing a Samsung dishwasher, DONT. If you spend a penny on a Samsung dishwasher, its a penny too much, you might as well throw that money in the garbage. I am pro Samsung for many things, we own several Samsung TVs, phones, washer, dryer, fridge, stove, microwave, DVD players and I am happy with every one of those products, but the dishwasher is another story. The racking system is horrible, so your dishes dont fit properly, they dont stay in place. We have tried every possible layout and nothing works good. No exaggerating, 90% of the dishes come out dirty, especially the top rack items. Drinking glasses, coffee mugs, etc NEVER EVER come out clean. They always have crumb like substances dried into them, requiring us to then soak the glasses in the sink for a while to try to loosen the residue enough for me to clean them. And dont waste your time writing their customer services, because its a total waste of your time. And yes, we take very good care of our appliances, and clean out the drain, the sprayer, everything they recommend and it doesnt do a stitch of good. My best advice, go with another brand for a dishwasher.

My complaint no. **. Samsung refrigerator broke down after just 1.5 years in service. When you call the customer care they happily say that your warranty has expired and inform that you have to pay INR 400 for the service engineer to visit and analyze the fault first. And imagine the pain when you have to hear one service engineer tells you that the coil is spoilt and gas is leaking, and that you have to pay INR 4000 to rectify these, for a product you paid INR 14000 just 1.5 years back. Over and above this, they say they have no backup spares and it will take 6 days to get it from Delhi (!) in India in a hot and humid climate. Imagine how to manage food without cooling options at home? The call centre is pathetic... Pls. dont buy Samsung home appliances. That customer care execs are sweet spoken, and will speak a lot of Hindi and English but are unable to provide a solution. In spite of making daily calls and telling them that I cannot afford to wait for 6 days, they will make empty promises that they will resolve this as soon as possible but its just a formality and they make no attempts to solve your problems... Your product fails within 1.5 years of purchase. It takes 6 to 7 days for spares to be available. It costs 30% of the product basic price to repair your product just within 1.5 years of purchase. Over and above imagine the pain and agony customer has to go through because there is no cooling option for food at home. At this rate I could have easily purchased a fridge from a roadside vendor who would have given better services than Samsung at half the rate. Give me 1 reason why should customer buy Samsung product for double the rate for such pathetic services. Now you know why Samsung’s mobile phone business is suffering. I am pretty confident their appliances division will be meet the same fate…

We purchased a 3 door Samsung refrigerator Jan, 4 2016. The ice maker drips water through the ice dispenser and several times ice has lodged in the maker preventing new ice to drop and consequently build up ice. The repairman says this is a common complaint and we can either replace the ice maker ($500), shut the entire refrigerator down for 48 hours to let everything thaw or use a hair dryer to try to help the thawing process. He says it is an engineering flaw involving the air flow. Of course once you melt the ice it will happen again. I paid $3000 for this appliance and based on the amount of bad reviews I just now read regarding Samsung refrigerators, Samsung should for pay for this consistent problem to be repaired.

Do not buy a Samsung refrigerator! I purchased a French door, bottom freezer, center drawer unit in November 2014. Beautiful appliance! I never really cared for the icemaker, but it made ice so I was ok with it until the unit was 2 1/2 years old. The ice maker began to freeze on the bottom and no ice was made. Then the water began dripping out of the front door dispenser. Fortunately I purchased the extended warranty, but when the repairmen came, on four occasions, there was not much they could do to remedy the situation. Finally they ordered a new icemaker, but then Samsung backordered for over a month then sent the wrong parts. Seems Samsung has completely changed the repair of their icemakers and the repairmen have not installed a new one to their specifications, so mine is the first. Great! Mine will be the Guinea Pig! Wish I had this purchase to do over, and had my $2000 (sale price) back to purchased an American made unit.

We purchased a Samsung refrigerator in July 2006 with the extended 4-year warranty. In July of 2009, it stopped cooling and I called in for a service order that took six days to repair the sensor and fuse. The repairman said these go out all the time, not a good part. On Nov. 16, 2008, it went out again for the same part and I asked for a refund. I was told, No, just repair. The tech again said parts were being updated because of repeated problems. On June 19, 2012, it went out again. I called Lowes service advantage and they referred us to Samsung since this was the third time. We went through a number of associates. They told us that we would get full credit, but we had to produce the work repair orders and fax them to Samsung. After a week without a refrigerator and spoiled food, we received and faxed the invoices to Samsung as required. At this point, another supervisor told us that we were only going to receive $647.91 back in credit and that we had to remove the serial number and cut the cord along with a picture. They would email us the information to send back. Today has been another week without an email. My husband calls Samsung and now they are saying the refund was rejected. I believe that Samsung does not stand behind its word or products. This is unfair and deceptive practices. I purchased Samsung French Door Refrigerator Model RFG297AARS for $2000 on 3/2011. However, I didnt buy the extended protection plan (should have) because I had protection plan with local electric company. I started to have problems in Jun 2013. Water in the bottom of the crisper and the refrigerator/ freezer was not cooling properly. I called to have maintenance done on the unit, and the repairmen told me that all of the defrost circuits and the sealed compressor were working properly and the drain lines were clear. They stated that all of the older and same model of mine had issues on lack of insulation in the box and during summer/high humid months, the unit would not keep up. I contacted Samsung and they never heard of this and would be happy to come out to look at the unit. If it wasnt a compressor issue, I would be charged for the visit. So we just unplugged the refrigerator and let it thaw out, and after that it worked okay, but not great. Then in Feb 2014, my freezer and refrigerator stopped cooling, so I called up for maintenance and they determined the sealed cooling system was not working and to call Samsung for repair under the 5-yr warranty. I called Samsung and they sent out a repair rep and he came out and said that the compressor/sealed system was not working properly and he would be in 2 weeks. When he came back, he tried everything but he could find the leak and he stated that it was not repairable!! 3 months later, no working refrigerator, just a broken one sitting in the way in my kitchen. Samsung finally decided to buy the unit back, but it would take 15-20 days and would get back to me concerning the removal of the broken one. No check, no email - nothing at all. Please do not buy this model or from this company. They say they understand what I am going through, but I dont think they do because they would have sent me my check and removed this broken box out of my kitchen so I can buy a new one for my family without a refrigerator.

Bought the Samsung French door refrigerator in 2014. In 2015, it stopped cooling twice. Had to be thawed at home since it is already out of warranty. Which is ridiculous. Samsung service is of no assistance. Just refer you to a local repair shop who refers you elsewhere because they refuse to service Samsungs products. If I had known about the short life of this refrigerator and the inability of it to perform its only job of cooling food, Id have definitely switched to another brand before the purchase of this $1,500 piece of pretty - looking junk. Samsung has been made aware of this design flaw for years, but due to selfishness and greed have refused to address the issue, fix / redesign the problem coils, or even recall their junk refrigerators. They have done a huge disservice to their consumers by allowing these pieces of junk to remain on the market without fixing the issues. I feel they should be made to recall the problem appliances. We lost over $300 in food and even the babys formula. Theres no excuse to sell high priced junk to consumers without standing behind your products. Bad business practices. Samsung should just stick with cell phones and computers. Their refrigerators are not worth the money or bad reviews. Just stay away!

We purchased a Samsung fridge 5 years ago. It had issues with the ice maker a few times, which were repaired. Most recently, the fan was making a REALLY loud noise, Samsung came out and we were told there is now corrosion in the plug of the fan and it is not repairable. Upon contacting Samsung we have been told we need to buy a new fridge and they offered us a 20% discount. The fridge is only 5 years old, we paid over $2.5k for it and now have no option to repair it other than to replace it. I wanted to warn others, as we had choices when we were buying and chose Samsung - we are now paying for that decision, literally. Looking online and doing some research Ive now found that there is a class action for THE EXACT SAME THING in the US - the ice maker breaking causing the fan to make a loud noise and eventually stop working. Im in shock that Samsung find it acceptable to tell me to buy a new fridge after only 5 years and only give me a 25% discount... I will never buy another Samsung fridge again and I hope this warns others to do the same. So disappointed. Here is the link to some summary details of the class action: **.

Trust me when I say SAMSUNG did not disappoint. My range is an electric ceramic top with convection model. It bakes very nicely and the cooktop cooks nice and evenly. Although it seems as though the bottom drawer is not as deep as my other range, it seems as though the inside of the oven was a little bigger. We bought this refrigerator when we built our new home back in July 2012. From day one, the ice maker didnt work right. I found myself waiting for ice for what seemed like forever. As time went on, it made less and less ice. Then it stopped making cubed ice and it almost was the consistency of a snow cone. Then another issue with it spitting out a good amount of water before the ice would come out, leaving water on my beautiful new hardwood floors. Not to mention it usually got all over myself as well. One day I noticed that the door was not in the track, allowing the cold air to leak out around the doors. I thought this might be why we were having the ice maker problems. So I gave it another week to see if the issue would resolve itself after fixing the doors. It broke... I dont know what in the world happened, it just stopped working altogether. So I called the company and after telling them I was completely done with this refrigerator and the constant ongoing issues, I wanted it fixed ASAP. The service company they referred me to said they couldnt come out for a week. I find this unacceptable on many levels. So I called Samsung again to tell them about the delay. They informed me that I would be hearing from an executive team member in 24-48 hours. Three days later, I called them because I never got a call. The employee apologized, took note of my complaint and assured me I would hear from someone in another 24-48 hours. Here I am, 3 days later, and I am yet to get a phone call. Like many other of the complaints I read, I too have had to eat out and spend countless dollars. And of course I had just gone to the grocery store the day before it broke completely. I will never buy another product from this company and I definitely would NEVER recommend Samsung to anyone.

We purchased this Samsung Dishwasher in May of 2013 mainly to replace our 15 year old Whirlpool contractors grade dishwasher, even though, it still cleaned my dishes with no problems. It was a breeze to load and the dishes still sparkled after 16 years of use. We were planning a kitchen renovation within the next several months, so we decided to start with the replacement of the ugly, old, but still effective Whirlpool. We went with Samsung because of its reputation as an electronics top brand. Our whole family had Samsung smart phones and TVs and had no complaints. Apparently that is where Samsung should concentrate their efforts. This dishwasher has NEVER properly cleaned our dishware. After 2 + years, Ive yet to find a sensible pattern to place the dishware for cleaning. My Whirlpool was so easy to load. This one is ridiculous. Even following the manufacturers guidelines, the dishes still do not get clean. I will say however, that it is QUIET! You can barely hear it running. I guess it doesnt need to make a lot of noise if its not doing anything productive. I am so disappointed in this $800 purchase. The stainless steel does, or did, look nice when we first got it. Very soon after, the stainless steel became stained, even though I carefully followed manufacturers instructions on cleaning the surface. Shortly after the 1st anniversary of purchase, while wiping down the front of the dishwasher one morning, the entire SAMSUNG lettering came off on my dishcloth. So now, we dont have to be embarrassed that we have a Samsung kitchen appliance. This purchase has not been in vain however, because we now make sure to always read reviews first before making any purchases of large ticket items. BTW, love our LG washer & dryer, still perfect after 8 yrs of use! Really glad we didnt purchase the Samsung refrigerator, we were so sure we wanted. But thats another story!

I had purchased a Samsung French Door fridge 5 years ago as it was the only model at the time that would fit in my small kitchen (17 cu ft model). As many reported, from the start, the ice maker freezes ice cubes together in the bin and cleanups are frequent. Secondly, the finish on the door handles (mine are white) just flakes off. I was told they would be over $80 to replace each one. I could live with those issues, however, my fridge developed the same water issue others noted. It collects under the crispers, freezes and makes a mess. I noted online this is a common issue and there are YouTube videos on how to repair yourself. Why must I do that??? Samsung knows of the major DEFECT in their products and one would think a recall would have been issued but basically tough luck.To others reading this, a cheap temporary fix for the water issue: Head to a local Dollar Store and purchase plenty of those drying cloths for cars in their auto section (they resemble camos). I placed one under each crisper and they absorb the water which freezes in them (and keeps out of your crispers). After a few days just remove, run under hot water, ring out and replace. Prepare to do that often until you fix this excuse of an appliance or replace it. I am going to junk this thing soon and replace with a Kenmore.

Purchased 1.5hp split inverter aircon from Emcor Davao City May 5 2018. Unit worked fine for about 5-6 months then started short cycling. Mystic Electronics Service Center Davao was contacted by customer service to be assumed warranty repair provider. Person came out said Lindsey too short so had to pay P6000 To have that fixed. Unit continued to short cycle. Came out again said outdoor motherboard AND compressor overload were both bad...then outdoor blower motor was bad. They replaced all of those items. I have years of AC experience and told the KID that is not the problem. He leaves unit still short cycling so I finally called Manila again and told them MY diagnosis. After further discussion between themselves they agreed to send same KID out to replace the indoor thermistor. The KID damaged my casings on inside unit. Now unit is acting up again with about 3 weeks remaining on warranty. I told them they need to send someone else out as I had banned Mystic from coming inside the property again since he has really no idea what he is doing and no respect for someone elses property....I.e. Indoor portion of the Samsung a.c. NEVER EVER BUY SAMSUNG AIRCON products....unless youre rich and dont mind just throwing your money out the door. Learned my lesson on Samsung. Never again buy their a.c. products.

On December 15, 2015 I purchased a Samsung French Door Refrigerator. Less than one month after delivery the ice maker quit working, was totally frozen up from leaking water. I purchased this item from Best Buys Pacific. The Geek Squad replaced part of the ice maker but did not remedy the program. Upon searching the internet the above was a known problem with this particular refrigerator. In fact Samsung had issued a technical bulletin on how to fix this problem. In the interim I purchased an extended warranty from Samsung. The same initial problem reoccurred in early December 2016. I took my complaint to the appliance manager at Pacific in Best Buy. He told me this was a Samsung problem. It has now been six weeks and several visits from repair companies the ice maker has not been fixed. It still freezes up, leads water and stops making ice cubes. I was directed to the regional representative for Samsung. Keeps sending out a different repair company without results. Needless to say I am totally frustrated with Samsung and their defective product. I have asked Samsung to replace the refrigerator but upon examining a more recent model the same problem was visible. Samsung continues to sell a defective product. I will be filing complaints with the Texas and Federal lemon laws to try and rectify the above problems. Needless to say I cannot recommend Samsung to anyone.

Purchased the Samsung NX58F5300ss/AA Gas Range in December of 2013 from Best Buy. About two days ago my wife was going to cook breakfast but noticed the display panel was blinking and displaying the letters SE. I called Samsung Customer Service, explained the problem to them. They told to reset the circuit breaker in the house panel box and that would fix the problem. Needless to say, that didnt fix the problem. I called Samsung again, told them their fix did nothing. Samsung offered to setup an appointment for a service call but would not tell me what the service call would cost nor would they give me any information as to the probable problem could be.Based on other reviews, this error code of SE is a known problem but Samsung has not been helpful at all in trying to help me resolve the problem. Also based on other reviews I agree that it would be cheaper to buy a new range rather than calling a Samsung repairman.

RM255BARB - The ice maker never worked right. It never gave us large ice cubes & ice cubes were mixed with crushed ice. It also stopped up all the time. A service man was called out so many times, I finally gave up. Now the bottom right door (this is a 4 door refrig.) rust started coming out of it. Called to see what is going on. After several phone calls & a visit from repairman on a $2800 refrig., about 7/12 year old machine, it has to be replaced. This is really disgusting because most people cant afford this kind of money every 7 years. I also have a Samsung in my garage as a back up with the freezer pull out drawer and I hate it. It is now freezing the food in the refrigerator part. Why cant these companies get their act together. I guess they think you will just go out and buy another of their products, but what they need to realize is people go to another company. Disgusted with Samsung.

My dishwasher started leaking badly. Upon my inspection, the bottom door seal was falling apart/disintegrating. I went to Lowes where I purchased it (this was one month after my 3 year extended warranty had expired) and asked to order the part in order for my plumber to repair it. They could not find the correct part but tried to sell me a part anyway. I knew enough to know that was not a part I needed So, I came back home and called Samsung for help. They referred me to J & J Parts which is their official distributor of Samsung parts. They could not find the individual part I needed. Moreover, they indicated that Samsung built that rubber piece into the door and I would have to buy the door for $254 to solve the problem! I called Samsung back and explained the issue. They didnt seem to care and said I would have to call an official Samsung tech. to come out and fix the problem. So I did that hoping it would cost me much less than $254 and the seal would be repaired. The tech confirmed what J & J Parts said to me on the phone - that I would have to order most of the door piece (over $200) and then the labor cost to add on to that made the estimate to repair at over $400! The Samsung tech visit cost me $97 for nothing that I didnt figure out myself! All this headache for a 22 piece of rubber seal! The bottom line is this: dont buy a Samsung dishwasher (my model #DW80H993), if you did and this happens, dont waste your time and money to try and fix it. I obviously would not spend the $400 for this piece of trash, so I bought a new and different dishwasher with a 5 year warranty.

We had our Samsung fridge for 3 years in July and the compressor decided to fail, with the warranty expiring after 2 years. However, Samsung organized a repair agent to attend at a cost of $130 for an onsite visit to tell me it was the compressor and that it would be covered under warranty as the compressor has a 5-year warranty on it. That was great so they organized an agent to attend again (Samsung Plaza) to pick up the fridge, so I waited all day and they never showed up. Then the following week, they finally picked it up. After a week of them repairing the fridge, they delivered it back. They delivered it in the pouring rain, it was windy and they were in a rush. In such a rush, the truck door smashed the side of my fridge. As they brought it into my house, they scratched and dented my door on my house. They broke the wheel underneath the fridge and pushed it along my floor boards. They have now made a mess of my floors by denting the floor boards from my door all the way to where the fridge is located. When they left, I went to shut the door and noticed pieces of the fridge on the floor and as I looked down, I noticed the door on my house was damaged and the massive dents in my floor. I then contacted them straight away to tell them because by this stage, the delivery guys had driven off. I had a 3-month-old baby in my hand at the time. Thats why I hadnt followed them out. When I reported it, they were great and shocked about what had happened and were making a case of it.After many, many calls since 9th August 2012, they finally decided to approve they would repair the damage. I have spent time getting quotes for the door and my floor to be fixed and forward them on. I then had the owner of Samsung Plaza come out to view the damage and she advised she would send me a check for the door to be repaired but had someone she knew who would fix my floor. Since then I have again made many, many calls and emails and really havent got anywhere. I was advised a repair guy would come 31 October and had a call in the morning to cancel. I then told her that I had the painter coming out to repair the door and needed the check for payment and she advised she would send it in the mail. This has never been seen. I have contacted her chasing the check and the repair guy and always am told, Ill call you back. I have been pretty patient and its wearing very thin now after almost months of this. I need help on getting to the bottom of this. In the meantime, I have another Samsung agent attend to pick up and repair the broken wheel on my fridge.

Bought a French door with middle divided door model 3 months ago. It stopped freezing and cooling but digital display indicated temp ok. After discovering food in freezer thawed and no ice, had to discard contents. Samsung sent repair man and he replaced parts and left. It was not fixed. Called back for second visit for repair and did not have needed parts. Came back 3rd time and replaced motherboard on January 20th. 3 weeks later, same problem. Discard food, called Samsung and insisted on replacement and was told technician would come out and deem it unrepairable. I agreed but said will not allow another repair. Tech came out with more parts to fix it. I refused repair, just asked him to determine that the same issue had occurred. That was yesterday. Today on multiple calls with Samsung customer support and was told it would have to be fixed again, refused to replace this obviously defective unit. I am looking for a solution, but dont think it will come from Samsung. Contacted Lowes where I purchased it and was told it would have to go through manufacturer (Samsung). what ever happened to backing up your products? Never, ever will I buy ANY SAMSUNG product again. I purchased a new Samsung refrigerator for my wife for her birthday. Without pulling out the paperwork I think it was in November of 2008. Purchased at Lowes. Had a repairman come out to fix it twice within the first year. It was icing up and sounded like a food processor inside due to ice build up around the fan. The coils were solid ice and the drain was frozen. There was water underneath the platter drawer and so much it would leak out and across the floor. Well seven years later Im still going through the same things. As I write this at 1:48 in the morning I cant sleep due to the noise the fan is making due to ice buildup. This is ** for what I paid. Ive found out about a class action lawsuit against Samsung but cant find any info on how to join. I cant afford a new fridge right now so Im stuck until the lawsuit is settled I guess.

I purchased the Samsung SMH9187ST microwave in May 2011 and installed it in July 2011. The unit failed on September 1, 2012! I barely used it, too. There was no SE error code as Ive been hearing or beeping, just a blank display and no response. I unplugged the unit for about an hour and replugged it - no luck. I left it unplugged for 2 days and then it worked again for about a week and today the unit is again completely unresponsive, even after trying to plug it back in after 2 days of being unplugged. Im in for a class action suit. The company has ripped a lot of people off and should have a complete recall on these units. My biggest beef is that this unit was a pain to install and now Im looking at dismantling and reinstalling another unit. Im not so upset about the loss of $245 I paid for it but rather all of my time and frustration. Im done with Samsung.

I lodged a complaint with Samsung customer care, they sent their representative who said gas of the refrigerator has leaked out and I have to pay for the visiting charges and gas filling charges plus parts. When I said, its under warranty, he said warranty is only for compressor. I argued gas remains in the compressor only, and if it has leaked that means the compressor is not good but he didnt accept my argument and insisted to pay the cost of repair. Dishwasher cleans great, but after it was hooked up for a couple months one day the dishes did not come out clean. (I must say right off the bat that the dishwasher was in place for a year before it was hooked up so, although it had not been unwrapped, the warranty was up before the problem started.) Thought there might be dirt or something caught in the bottom under the screen. Took the screen and spin wheel thing off to clean it and found the problem was a small bit of plastic from the top rack had broken off and was stopping the little wheel from spinning the arms the water comes out of. Thought it may have broken because I had moved the top rack up to accommodate a tall item. Did not move the top rack again after that, but a month later, had the exact same problem caused by another bit of plastic broken off the rack. It is very annoying since there are 13 or 14 long screws that have to be removed to fix it. Would hate to be paying a repair person every time this happened! Seems awfully cheap production to have the racks falling apart and causing the dishwasher to stop working!

In September 2009, I purchased the whole 9 yards of Samsung. I purchased the microwave over the oven, the oven, the dishwasher and the refrigerator - costing me a total of $6000... Last year, I replaced the microwave, and I learned my lesson and purchased the extended warranty. The only OTHER issue I had which is MAJOR and a reason for me to probably bring my business elsewhere, as I will never say never buy Samsung again, is my refrigerator RF266ABRS, 26 cu ft stainless steel French door with the bottom freezer. The first problem I had with the freezer was within the first year I had purchased it - the ice maker was not making ice into cubes but into chunks. They had the technician fix it in no time. Then in March 2013, the freezer was giving us a negative reading of -2; however, when I unplugged the freezer and plugged it back in, it then said 34 degrees. No wonder all my food thawed out and ice was melted. So we called. Samsung said if it’s a sealed system issue, then it will be covered. They set up a transaction number with Va Electronics, who called me and said I had to pay $125 for diagnostics. After kicking my feet, I finally paid, as they could care less. I spoke with the technician as he stated, there is a slow leak causing only my fridge to be cool but not enough to cool the freezer. I asked if the leak should happen again. He said it shouldnt for another 3 years, so okay...I went about my business for 95 days until I opened the freezer to notice all the food had thawed out again!!! So I called Samsung. You name it. I’ve spoken with them, from Krishonda, Boris to Allison. You name it. I’ve spoken to them and every department. Yes, they gave me the roundabout... Hahaha... I was beyond frustrated; I was in tears and handed the phone off to my husband and told him to speak with them. As I was going back and forth with Samsung and Va Electronics, both saying two completely different things and saying, well, ask Samsung and ask Va Electronics... Eventually, someone needs to own up to this defective product that we, as consumers, are initially paying anywhere from $1900 to $3000 to begin with. It makes you think twice when it is time to purchase a new one. Overall, the experience I am dealing with Samsung and Va electronics is leaving a bad taste in my mouth, but it makes me grateful to know that, compared to their customer service, I am like a GOD at what I do. Thanks for doing a bad job. :)

The range dials and oven buttons have a nice click when depressed, which I prefer compared to my old stove that didnt have much feedback when using. What good are BTUs if you always have the burner on slightly over medium even to heat water for pasta. This stove is very attractive, BUT it is all show and no go!

We purchased a Samsung refrigerator (Model # RF323TEDBSR) less than two years ago and have had three repairs. The latest annoyance was the loud cycling sounds that came from the unit and stopped temporarily when you opened the door. The tech said it is the fan icing up in the back of the unit and replaced. Here we are about 8 months later and it starts up again. Not impressed with Samsung appliances and will never purchase one again.

None of the appliances that Samsung make are any good. Be warned that with the dishwasher all the tabs holding up the shelves break off and they fall into the garbage disposal and they just grind and grind. My Samsung microwaves door broke after only a few months, but then the magnetron also failed. The legs on my Samsung stove bent as I was pushing the stove back against the wall during installation. Everything is made poorly and will not stand up. I should have stuck with Whirlpool products.

We purchased a 3 door refrigerator from Sears in January 2013. We purchased the 5 year extended warranty. The Sears repairman has been here 4 or 5 times. He replaced the icemaker once. Came back to fix the icemaker, which kept freezing up and leaking onto the dispenser tray. This leak caused our STAINLESS STEEL door to rust. It is still leaking and rusting more. We have talked to Samsung customer reps who told us it was cosmetic and not covered under our warranty. The repairman even told them it was not our fault. But, this did not help our plight. Will not buy anything Samsung ever again. We asked to have them replace our rusty door. Of course this did not happen.

I purchased the most expensive dishwasher at the store, it was a Samsung DW990044dBA. Over a $1000.00. I bought the best hoping for good results and little hassle. The appliance worked for 4 days only. There was over 4 service calls in 2 months, and lots of correspondence with Samsung, and my dishwasher hasnt worked for much of the two months waiting on service repair times. There were several issues with the top rack sticking, leaking through the door, and breaking down. My countertop has been damaged from steam leaking through the door, my floor has been damaged from leaking on the floor. Samsung wont compensate me at this time and have denied my request for a new dishwasher. Samsung is complicated and confusing to deal with as their departments dont talk or share files. A person needs to be good with a computer, and verbally strong to deal with this company as they require lots of communication, pictures, calls, time and patience. I wish I had never bought this product.

At what point does a company read these and take action? Purchased Family Hub French Door 2.5 months ago. Freezer failed, lost everything, missed 4 half days of work dealing with 3rd party service companies who didnt know what was wrong or how to fix it. 14 calls with Samsung service department. 12 emails, in the meantime ice machine failed and now the upper fridge area failing. At $2,499 youd think they would care/value the experience and take action, but were on day 38 and still waiting for a remedy. I stood at Home Depot and personally persuaded 7 customers not to buy this fridge and they listened. Your ** product and service cost me lost wages and time during failed service calls so I figured Im only halfway to the break even point of costing you fridge sales. And I realize nobody in your service department gets paid enough to care, but hopefully someone in your product management and marketing team care enough to read reviews.

We bought two identical side by side refrigerators 5 years ago. Both now have water is leaking from behind the crisper drawer. This appears to describe what is happening: **. The fact that it happened to both and that the repair is posted with the expectation that the consumer will fix is disappointing. Is there a class action? Do not contact us until March.

Bought top of the line 2 yrs. ago and unit is now unusable! Purchased top of the line gas stove/oven. After setting it to clean the oven will not unlock, control panel is out, this virtually controls all of the unit. Had to move unit out from wall, removed back panel to get the oven to open, control panel is still out. Stainless steel top is sooooo cheap! It scratched first time cleaned! What a piece of trash! We will never buy from Home Depot again and never another Samsung! Made in the USA for us.

I purchased this Samsung Convection Electric Stove approximately 4 years ago as Samsung received good reports for its electronics and appliances. After about a year of owning it, the rear burners no longer worked on low, the oven light blinked on and off, the oven shuts on and off and the convection fan was working intermittently. Sometimes, there is a ticking noise when I turn the oven on. I called Samsung in the beginning of the malfunctioning and was told my oven was no longer under warranty. This was the 2nd time my Thanksgiving turkey took 7 hours to cook. This product is defective in so many ways and should not be sold by retailers until they remedy all of the complaints appearing on sites such as ConsumerAffairs is remedied.

As our five year old Samsung refrigerator is now trash (model RB2178AB), time to research before replacing. Loved the fridge, no complaints except for twice having to replace the gallon bin in the door. But last week freezer quit and now fridge. Repair person says a freon leak. Not repairable. Expensive purchase for 5 years of use. With a Samsung dishwasher that has required 5 service visits...no more Samsung appliances for this family!
