Model MDB7749AWM2. Paid over $700.00. Figure I would get a good dishwasher so it would last and clean dishes. I was wrong. I replaced all new appliances for kitchen in house we had purchase 3 years ago. I replaced door switch 4 times, front door panel where screws go in broke off. Salesman at Lowe’s said Maytag was a good dishwasher. It is a stainless front and stainless inside. I have had cheaper models and never had problems with.

Very disappointed with my 2014 purchase of model MDB8959SBS3 dishwasher. In fact it is no longer in service. We used the dishwasher approximately twice a day. The wheels on the pull out racks starting falling apart in the first 6 months. Then the soap dispenser failed. It would not shut. We replaced both the wheels and the dispenser only to find ourselves with the exact same problems in a matter of months. My hubby got really good at fixing both of these items. The final straw was earlier this year as when we turned it on the motor/water pump started making a screeching sound. Never had to replace an appliance that was only four years old in my lifetime. Just very disappointed with the quality of Maytags dishwasher.

I have been a Maytag customer for many, many years. In November, 2014 we decided to buy a new matching pair. No problems with dryer but the washer has been a nightmare from day one. Have had at least 5 service calls (lost count). The washer constantly smells. Clothes are not clean. Have to buy and run Affresh tablets weekly. Spend more on wash machine cleaner than laundry detergent. Funny thing is Maytag/Whirlpool makes the expensive cleaning tablets. The customer service at Maytag has not been helpful from day one. They recommended I buy an $150.00 extended warranty. Stupidly I agreed and regret doing it. They still have not fix the machine under the one year original warranty. NEVER BUY A MAYTAG BRAVOS WASHER.

Called about our upteenth issue with our Maytag microwave. Was told the part was covered but we would have to pay for service. The last tech told us how to wiggle the part to make it work. Paid a fortune and it broke again. They do not care about customers!!

The low water usage design is horrible. Clothes dont get clean as it doesnt use enough water to cover them. Takes twice as long to do a load as our old washer. Took about 1 1/4 hours yesterday for 1 load using heavy which is the only setting that uses more than a thimble of water. Should have looked for a commercial type with a real agitator and adequate water usage. Not saying Maytag is probably any worse than any other brand of new efficiency government mandated garbage washer, but its no good.

The Maytag MGR5875QDW oven does not come up to temperature. It might start, but then it will give 2 dings and show a failure. I have called the 800 number in the manual. There’s no good help. I turned the power off and then on. It’s no help. This a pain in the rear end. That is a kind way of saying it. Home phone is **; cell phone number is **. Call me any time. Thank you. We have a Maytag dishwasher that came with the house we purchased in 2012. Im not sure of the exact age but the former owner said it was a relatively new installation. The appliance works very well; cleans well. Just a couple of things of concern. First, it is really noisy. The fact that we can very clearly hear it running in the adjacent room does not speak well for it in this regard. The other things that has occurred is that rusting is evident on the trays of the dishwasher. One of the upright pieces has already broken off due to rust and two others are close to coming apart very soon. Nothing sharp is placed in those areas that are coming apart so there would be nothing remarkable to disturb the plastic coating on the wire racks. I can only conclude that the plastic coating was defective at the start; hence the rusting at the base of the upright pointing racks. That said, it does clean well but I dont foresee this unit lasting much longer overall due to the rack damage that is continuing to occur. I would expect the racks to at least last as long as the dishwasher but this does not seem very likely at the rate the racks are deteriorating.

MHW7100DW Maytag Washer Steam & YMED7100DW Maytag Dryer Steam. Both of them are easy to use. They hold lots of clothing as well as bedding and many different settings. They both do an excellent job. Brand and excellent reputation. Had my last Maytag washer & dryer over 25-years and had no problems with either. Thats why I bought Maytag again. Repairs are very costly when you have to pay technicians. Dont like poor quality construction or enamel chipping when you place items on them. Very easy to clean both of them. Practically no lint dust emitted into the room from the dryer. Had no problems with my previous washer & dryer. Thats why I purchased a full size Maytag washer and dryer again.

I bought two sets of Maytag washer and dryer. We have had them for less than a year and the tubs had to be replaced out of both of them. Now, its less than six months later and they are doing the same thing, so the tubs have to be replaced again. What kind of equipment are you making? This is just an outrage. Maytag Front load washer mah8700aww - This washer has been the biggest boat anchor of a machine. Nothing but trouble and bad parts. New motor after 18 months, water level sensor at 2 years, main control board twice now at 2 years and 4 years, and now it is showing signs of needing yet another main board. E3 trouble code plagues our home and basement. This machine has been leveled and re-leveled numerous times and still shakes like crazy... I mix my paint cans by setting them on the top... the best use for this machine. Yes it sits on a concrete floor. So not satisfied and will not ever buy another Maytag anything. There should be a negative star rating. It does not deserve even 1 star after being taken advantage of like we and thousands of others have been.

I purchased my Bravos washer and dryer in Sept. 2010. What a mistake! The dryer is okay but the washer is a nightmare! The repairman and I are on a first name basis. The last time he was here, he showed me how to recalibrate my washing machine. It stops working in the wash cycle, fills with water and then sits there. I have to manually drain it and start over. Then it gets confused and fills with water when it is supposed to be spinning and draining (consequently draining my well). I shouldnt have to recalibrate anything in life, much less, a brand new washing machine.

I bought Maytag frost-free refrigerator last August 2006. But now, I noticed that ice builds up in the freezer. The product is only five years old but I was told by Whirlpool that they had discontinued making defrost heater. The reason why I bought Maytag was the ad on TV showing the Maytag service technician seating and doing nothing, implying that Maytag brand is a good product. Think again before buying Maytag products.

I wish I had read these reviews before purchasing my dishwasher. I have used it 40 times max. The control board went out. They want 307.00 to fix it. Really? Why would I fix this piece of crap when I can buy a cheap one for that price that would work better. Ridiculous! I paid good money for this dishwasher and the warranty that comes with this is a joke. Save your money and brand from a company that stands behind their product.

We purchased a new Maytag washer and dryer from Home Depot; a couple months later the dryer started to rattle so we contacted Maytag and they sent a service tech out who stated this was normal as the dryer was settling and parts are not as tight as they are when new. This was a garbage response and he was asked to leave. I contact Maytag again, told them of the problem and the tech response and they offered to send another tech out except I would have to pay for the service call since they already sent someone out. I sent them an audio file of the rattle, no reply. Eventually Home Depot ended up replacing the dryer as Maytag refused to help me despite it being in the warranty period.

Maytag MVWC300BW clothes washer makes holes in heavy duty T shirts & sheets. It stretches clothing. We are following directions in loading without success. We are washing everything on the gentle cycle twice to get the clothes clean without destroying them. Today we were stood up for our third service call.

The refrigerator had to have repairs in first year. Maytag was aware of freezer issues and reluctantly finally replaced the parts. I had to argue with repairman because he tried to tell me that the freezer was too full.

I purchase my Maytag Bravos washer from Sears in May 2011. In February of 2014, I started to get the UL message, meaning unbalanced load. I would re distribute the clothes and sometimes that did the trick and others not so much. Now every load comes up UL. I tried putting the machine on the drain and spin cycle to at least get the clothes a little bit drier but the UL message still appears and the clothes are still soaking wet. I lifted the washer up and there is an oil/grease type spin pattern under the washing machine. I called Maytag today (which is now Whirlpool I guess) as the washer has a 10 year warranty on the drum and motor. I was told a service call is $129. When I mentioned that I had Googled the product and saw many reviews with the same exact problem, she stated the Bravos has no common complaints. From what Ive read, it seems to me it would be more cost effective to go out and buy a new washing machine and it obviously wont be another Maytag or Whirlpool.

Maytag washer MHW5500FW had service just a month after purchase and still a year later the washer has problems spinning using direct drive. Even a few towels are soaked when cycle is done or errors out and must be restarted. Most of the time the washer has to be cycled on spin to remove water from soaked items, not just a simple bath rug, towels, bed sheets. Almost anything has a problem spinning. Had to purchase another year of service coverage as I dont trust the washer will last. Soap dispenser needs to be diluted despite using correct soap, per service tech advice which triggers sensors to shut down. Machine looks good but not ergonomically designed without the stand as you can easily lean over the washer and turn on and off accidentally. Same goes for the matching dryer, also can easily set off the on pause and on/off button. Dryer works great other than that.

Please read Michael of Davenports review. I read it and word for word this is my experience. This washer is the worst Ive ever had. If I could get back my old 20 year old machine, I would trade it in. Dont buy, youll hate it.

Weve only had the machines for about a year, but so far they operate perfectly. However, the washing machine seems to take much longer to operate than my prior machine and is much noisier. But, the cleanliness of our clothes is great!

We bought our refrigerator 14 months ago and it has a 10 yr limited parts warranty. Both the freezer and refrigerator quit working, right after we spent $600 in groceries. I called the warranty dept and the soonest they could get here to service it, was 9 days later cause they only go thru Diamond Preferred, to do the repairs. Then on the 9th day, Diamond Preferred calls to let us know that unfortunately, they cant get here to fix it until another 5 DAYS!! Two weeks with NO refrigerator and freezer, is ridiculous. They should pay another repair place to come out instead of just relying on the ONE!! Our food is now ruined, $600 worth. And to top it off, weve had to eat out costing us more money, and then once its finally fixed, we have to go buy more groceries. I will NEVER buy a Maytag appliance, ever again!

I, like SO many other people, am experiencing problems with a relatively new Maytag dishwasher. Mine is Model MDBH979SAB1. I have owned the dishwasher for 4 years but use it 6 months of the year and, because I live alone, maybe twice a week. In effect, it has the equivalent of less than a year of normal use. My problem is the same as countless other people. I can tell from how it behaves that it needs a new control board. I find little comfort in the fact that I one of several thousand people experiencing a problem with a newer Maytag appliance. What concerns me, after reading many negative reviews and seeing Maytags response, is that Maytag does not seem to care. We need to get the word out. We need a massive boycott of Maytag. We need to hit them where it hurts: in their bottom line. Since they seem to be content to continue to put out defective products, the only way to protect consumers is to put Maytag out of business.

Two and a half years ago I bought a Maytag dishwasher thinking it was time to upgrade from my Ge. After a year and a half the control panel went out in in it! So For a little over a $100 I replaced it. Now, a year later, the panel has gone out again!!!! What is this? Every year I have to spend over a $100 to repair this thing!! Just got off the phone with Whirlpool Customer Care after getting the run around between parts and customer service for most of the morning. My issue is with the shelving on my MSF25D2EAS01 Maytag side-by-side refrigerator. The plastic surrounding the glass shelving is disintegrating and they are not admitting to a defective design only that the original part has been obsoleted and a new one is available for purchase (an over $300 expense to replace three shelves) on a unit that is just over 2 years old. I am willing to bet the old part has been replaced with a different design after they realized a substantial number of customer complaints. As an engineer, it is obvious to me that these shelves are poorly designed for their intended purpose, furthermore my work allows me to recommend appliance brands for large projects so I see no reason to recommend Whirlpool or any of its subsidiary brands (Kitchen Aid, Maytag, Amana, Jenn-Air) to any of our clients. Whirlpool quality and customer service is substandard and no better than any imported brand of appliances.

I purchased a Maytag Bravo XL from Lowes. Ive had nothing but trouble with it since day 1. I called Lowes and they said the hose that was placed on it was the wrong hose because I cannot use the the BULKY Cycle. Its easily to off balance and shakes the house. Im continuously having to restart it, it just stops and blinks without any codes showing, on all cycles. I paid $1,000.00 for this washer and will not purchase another Washer with sensors. The life span of the digital washers without agitators are maybe up to 3 years, if that. My last washer was a Whirlpool Cabrio Top Loader and it did the same thing. No More for this mom of three children, the older generation of Washers lasted TEN years or more!!!

On 7/8/11, the non-freezer part of the refrigerator failed to cool to needed temperature. This fridge is model MI TXEMMWWOO, with serial no EY4705715, purchased on 7/13/10 at Home Depot.We contacted Maytag and were told to wait until Monday. On Monday, we were told that a serviceman would be out on Thursday, the 14th. On Wednesday, the 13th, the serviceman called to inform us that he would come the next day and that he would have to collect for the call. Since the fridge was still under warranty, we demurred.We went to Home Depot for advice. They called Maytag, and after an hour of getting the runaround, we were told that the serviceman would come on the 19th and that the call would be covered by the warranty.On the 18th, the serviceman called with the same message as before: he would have to collect the charges for the service call. Another trip to Home Depot led to the advice to activate the extended warranty at this point.Under the extended warranty, the serviceman came on the 21st, had to order a new part, and finally installed the new part on the 29th, three weeks after the misery began, and after spoiled foods, many bags of ice, and great inconvenience.We have other Maytag appliances, but this purchase has been a cruel lesson in Maytags lack of product quality, deceptive warranty practice, and indifference to consumer satisfaction.

I purchased this washer in April 2017 from H/D. The machine started making funny grinding noise over this weekend. Had a tech come to house to repair. Tech said the insides are stripped, 300 plus in parts to repair and would be weeks to get parts. I called Maytag and they offered to send their own tech to see which parts and if any of them would be under warranty at a price of 109. I explained that I had an expectation that a washer would last longer than 31 months and spending another 109 dollars would be bad money after good with the 80 dollars for my tech. Maytag said take it or leave it. I am going to Lowes for a GE machine. DO NOT BUY THIS. IT WONT LAST. I will admit, Tina from Tennesse, the Maytag customer complaint person was nice and professional but not actually empowered to do anything to help. I will recommend to my 5 kids never buy Maytag.

I have had this refrigerator for less than 3 years. It recently started leaking water on the floor and all over the bottom of the freezer. Repairman said it is a flaw with the defrost drain design. He thinks Maytag MIGHT have changed it since I purchased mine, but I dont know. Originally they used this small rubber valve;repairman said they get clogged very easily (even though I vacuum around it regularly and dont have any pets). He replaced that part with something sturdy that looks like a p trap. I looked online and there are loads of complaints about this exact issue with the defrost drain clogging. It cost $250 to have it repaired. I called Maytag to ask to be reimbursed and of course they will not do anything since it is out of warranty. Its a shame Maytag wont stand behind their products. Since there are so many of us with this issue, cant something be done?

I bought this POS and paid almost 1000. Out the door with tax, hoses, delivery, etc. And it is by far the worst most useless pile of crap I have ever purchased. It just does not work!!! Its a washer that does not wash. It uses enough water to wash one sock and that still comes out stinky.. All my clothes no matter what cycle I use including deep fill power wash or if I add my own buckets full of water to the 1.5 hour wash cycle still come out dirty, stinky, stained and caked with detergent...Hey Maytag heres a hint. You need water to wash clothes and you need agitation to get out the soil, the dirt, the sweat, the stains, the stink and your washer does none of that. In fact I could get my clothes cleaner if I out them in the bath tub and swished them around with a broom stick for 3 mins. How could you go from the loneliest man on earth to the biggest scammer on earth by producing this boondoggle... P.S. Its only me and my wife. We are retired and our clothes are not even that dirty... Its just common sense. No water no action no clean. Not long after the 1 year warranty expired the washer started making noise while agitating. Long story short, the transmission is making the noise and should be replaced. It is a $200+ part. While it is still working ok, Im waiting for it to fail completely. Not good for an expensive washer. I dont think Ill buy Maytag again.

My machine is only 14 months old and will not even turn on. I opened the lid, and the tub was filled with water and the wet clothes sitting in there. There were only 6 items in there: 3 school skirts and 3 school pants, dripping wet. So I unplugged the unit to try and clear the circuit board - to no avail. The machine will still not turn on. The lights are on, the sensor turns on for about 3 seconds and shut off and everything just sits there. I did not get the extended warranty. My mom still has her Maytag she bought 30 years ago and its running like a champ. Wish I could say the same. I gave my sister my old Maytag - its 25 years old and its still running like a champ. This machine is a LEMON. I will never buy another Maytag again. I am so done with this brand. I hope that a Class Action suit is filed against them.

I love the way it can really handle large loads. The dryer is the best though. It actually dries your load without you having to turn it on more. There are many different choices that handle drying. So, no more to the bone drying.

My husband bought me a Maytag washer as a surprise gift. I was so excited to get a Maytag. I will never purchase a Maytag again. I am so tired of washing, rewashing and rerinsing my clothes and still not getting the soap out. I have used every different kind of detergent and used with and without fabric softener. I have also tried cold, warm and hot water. I would rather use more water and get the soap out instead of using more electricity to keep rewashing my clothes and then in the end having to take a wet cloth to get the soap out. Never had to do this with any other washer I owned. Very disappointed as I always thought Maytag was the best.

Should have read reviews. Ill never buy another Maytag. This stove has been bad almost from start. Stove has burned marks from using broil. Repairman told me not to use broil anymore. One of eyes has been worked on 2 times; the knob does not work correctly; when you turn off, it goes past the off and keeps on going to the left. It is very hard to clean surface. I have had a few years. Company paid for one repair. They should have replaced stove from beginning. Not safe.

My clothes come out extremely wrinkled and start piling after a couple of washes. I wash on cold and do not overload the machine. I am 64 years old and had always loved Maytag until I got this set 4 years ago.

We have to rinse off any food particles before we wash or it may not wash off. So I use plastic wiper before we load. Only 2 of us so items may sit 3-4 days before we run our Maytag dishwasher.

While repair my fathers home in Grand Junction Colorado, Home Depot workman grabbed the 30 year old washer and dryer by the controls and promptly destroyed the machines. No - Home Depot didnt do anything despite complaints. I bought a brand new Maytag Washer and Dryer for the Grand Junction, Colorado home. The famous Maytags that are called dependable only lasted 3 months. When I went to complain at the Grand Junction Home Depot - the manager - Cheryl - called me a lair when I said I left phone messages for her. Cheryl seems to represent the best of Home Depot when she doesnt assist customers - is nasty and calls them liars when they say they left phone messages for her. No - Home Depot would not back their selling Maytag, and worse, they wont assist you in finding how to contact Maytag. Cheryls response was - Contact Maytag. Good bye. I was not given a contact or phone number - nothing. I spent over $32,000 at Home Depot fixing up my fathers home and rentals and this is how Home Depot treats customers. Worse I have a worthless Maytag that ceased working after just 3 months. Yes - you may contact me, yes - you may use my name and yes - I will blog on the internet the nastiness of Home Depot in Grand Junction, and the poor quality and poor customer service with Maytag.

I had a tub failure on my washer Whirlpool Duet, which I bought brand new and it lasted 12 years with no problems. The dryer is still in use at my sons house. However, this failure lead me on a search for a set to replace the duet. I did some research and found the Maytag 6.2 Cu. Ft top loader and huge Dryer to match. The set was not cheap and it did have high marks for a great washer. So, I bought them both and had them delivered on 12/30/16. I have read all the owners manual and watched YouTube videos to see how to use this machine with all its pretty lights and sounds. I will concede that the machines look great, very impressive in my laundry room. I would bet it would even be a plus when I go to sell the house.THAT is all the nice stuff I can say. The machine does not clean clothes and I have done all the settings. I have changed laundry detergents, and even tried to add a little more water with a bucket at the start of the wash. (Saw that one on YouTube.) REALLY. That did not work, nor should I have to do that to get it to clean well. The answer seems to be, set the machine on FULL tub of water. So, I tried that for a couple of times and found that the clothes just float around and since they do not touch the Wear Plate they dont get clean. My wife (yes, I am a man that does most of the laundry) said she hates the washer and I was an idiot for buying this expensive piece of metal that does nothing but take up space and leaves spots on your clothes. Have you heard the term Happy Wife-Happy Life. Well not so much for me now.Spending money even $2,500.00 on a washer and dryer seems a little crazy. But I had the extra money and I have always wanted a MAYTAG. These guys know how to make a washer. Boy was I wrong, this machine must be an embarrassment to Maytag. I know I am really shocked that you would sell this machine as top of the line. I am not sure what Maytag will do, but I thought I would give you a chance to make this right. I bought a pair of Maytag washer MVWB700BW and dryer YMEDB700BW in November 2014 from Home Depot and the washer was never washed cleaned from the 1st load! The detergent was stuck to the clothes. I tried different cycles and the result was the same. I called Whirlpool and they sent 2 different technicians to check. I showed the technicians the clothes. They both admitted there was no technical problems but the washer performed badly. The 2nd technician even took pictures and attached to the report he sent back to Whirlpool. Still Whirlpool refused to take back the pair or exchange to another model. I went back to Home Depot. Home Depot said they talked to Whirlpool but Whirlpool refused to refund me. Home Depot finally agreed to take back the pair and allowed me to exchange to another pair of a different brand but I was charged a 15% restocking fee. Whirlpool said the machine was working properly yet it was never even met its basic requirement of a clean load! Still they refused to take this pair back and refund me the money! Now I had to pay a 15% restocking fee to get an exchange. I will never buy anything from Whirlpool/Maytag and I will not recommend this brand to my family or friends!

Maytag dishwasher mdb7749awm2 - It appears that everybody who bought one of these dishwashers has run into this issue at one time or another, and it usually takes one full year of use before the control panel goes out on these units, and in most cases, it has to do with moisture getting on the thin strip of wires leading from the control board to the control panel. It usually occurs right where the strip enters the control panel... There is nice little gap for moisture to rest right on the wires, which will eventually lead to corrosion. I included an image of what to look for (see the nice black rust areas on the wires? That was my problem, and probably yours, too). If you have some very, very fine sandpaper, and have patience, then you can get the rust off the wire, but be very, very careful, or you could take the small thin wire off in the process! Ive made this repair myself to my unit, and I did it for one my friends machines (it was a Maytag, and his lasted two years, but had the same problem, too), and both had similar problems and right in the same spot! After removing the corrosion, the system worked great again. However, before hooking the unit up again, I sealed the area with some silicone to hopefully prevent this from happening again. Now, Im not saying that this is the problem that you are having, but its worth investigating, and dont be afraid to pull-off the front panel...its just held on with an adhesive and will go back on with no issues. Anyway, this could save one hundreds of dollars in repair costs. I hope that this helps.

I bought my Bravos washer (Maytag Bravos Model # MVWX700XL2) back in 2013. Worst mistake ever, First off the clothes never came out clean, regardless of how diligent I was following the directions on how to use this particular type of machine. Secondly, it started going off balance for every load if I put more than 4 pieces of clothing in. 2 months after having it recently repaired AGAIN for not spinning and going off balance, it is doing it again. It is only 4 years old! I bought it for the Maytag reputation, but now I am doubting that reliability.

Please let me know if there is a class action suit. This refrigerator leaks water all my floor every three days or so. I have to chip the ice off the bottom of freezer every three or four days. Storage is also a joke. Poor design.

Just like most of the other consumers, the control panel on my three year old Maytag dishwasher (MDB 6701AWW3) has failed for the fourth time. The cost of repairs and extended warranties has now far surpassed the original cost of the machine, which was $400. Today when I called Maytags customer service, I was offered another extended warranty for $316.05 for one year. I suggested that there was a defect in design but was assured that this was probably due to use of the machine. I guess if I left it as an unused space filler, it would last forever. They commiserated with my frustration. Never again will I purchase this brand.

Eight years ago we bought all new top-of-the-line, stainless steel refrigerator, double oven range, dishwasher and microwave. All began malfunctioning within the first year: *The refrigerator began to make a loud rattle and the digital control pad needed to be replaced -twice within the first year. Within the next year the compressor had to be replace. *Dishwasher electronic control board was replaced twice, broke again and is still broken. *Microwave door handle broke off, and turntable motor broke.*Range burner ignition system only works on two burners and the shelf for the top oven does not fit -*Maytag refused to replace. Also, after using self-cleaning feature the lower oven still fills the room with smoke so it has been used very little. So, how much worse could it be? I had faith in Maytag-thats why we bought the brand.

Bought a dishwasher about 2 years ago, through Home Depot. After it was installed, contacted Maytag to let them know that it didnt seem to be working correctly. They sent out a repairman, who looked at the machine, and then told us that with the new eco friendly settings, it would be best to let the dishes dry overnight. It seems that the company and its employees dont know [or care] about the product. Contacted their service/helpline to let them know that the screws on the insides of the latch [on the cover] are NOT screwing into anything, they come loose. Person couldnt find same in his system, finally sent screw, but they were the wrong size and didnt work. Just opened the dishwasher this AM, after washing the dishes last night. 12 hours later and they still are not dry. This isnt eco, this is something that is wrong that Maytag doesnt want to address. Buy something else!!!

The paint (stainless steel) on the top panel surrounding the digital screen is deteriorating from the heat and steam from light cooking. This happened the first time I used one of the back burners for light simmering. I purchased the range in December 2011, but had not used the back burners because I dont cook large meals. The black paint on the range top is also easily scratched when moving the grates for cleaning. This product has defective paint and Maytag has NOT responded to my questions sent to them by email. I will never purchase another Maytag product NOR will I purchase appliances from HOME DEPOT again. Home Depot should not sell shoddy products!

My dishwashers warranty expired in March 2011 and it stopped running in April 2011. I have not had the use of my dishwasher since then. I was able to finally afford to have a technician take a look at it. I am told that it is the circuit board and it is going to cost as much as the price I bought the dishwasher for. I thought Maytag products were better than the other products so I paid a little more and got a Maytag only to find out that they are garbage. I might as well bought an unknown brand at a cheaper price for all your products were worth. I guess you cannot trust anyone these days, and I will never buy a Maytag product of any kind again. I think that you should fix this.

Dishwasher control board has completely started blinking cancel when not touching it, ran for the entire time I was in Church. Numerous problems, only 2 years old. NEVER would I recommend this brand, EVER!!!

I bought a Maytag microwave in Feb of 16. Six months later, last August, it stopped working correctly (light doesnt come on, will not start, continually says open/close door to start). I have been trying for THREE MONTHS to have this fixed. Multiple calls to Maytag have resulted in nothing but empty promises. Calls to the store where we purchased it do no good - you have to call Maytag. We got 6 months use out of a Maytag microwave which we paid EXTRA to have installed. At this point I dont want it fixed. I want it replaced. The Maytag brand used to stand for durability and integrity; now it stands for badly made products and pathetic customer service. Look up my phone number on your computers, Maytag, and you will see all the efforts Ive made to get this fixed.

The AquaLift Self-Cleaning is a very poor substitute for a normal high temperature Oven-Range. It gives as much work as an oven without any self-cleaning, as it does nothing to the sidewalls or the door. The minimum temperature is 170 Fahrenheit, too high to rise a dough.

I purchased a Maytag gas range about five years ago. After about two months, I noticed that the paint on the burner grates was flaking off. I called the company and they told me it was cosmetic. I have since bought two sets of replacement grates. I call the newest ones my dress grates, which I put on the stove when I am having company. I use the damaged ones for everyday cooking. Last year, the panel flashed. It locks constantly. And often, the door would not open, unless we pulled the stove away from the wall, unplugged it, and that cleared the computer. So, after months of unsuccessful door openings, the handle finally fell off completely. And the door locks whenever the oven is turned on. You have to finish your cooking, press cancel, and wait until the oven cools off, and then it will unlock. I have tried pushing aluminum foil into the latch hole on the door but have not been successful. Sometimes I just put a spoon in the door to keep it ajar while cooking. This cant be energy efficient. Of course, it is out of warranty. I saw a similar complaint about the burner grates. Also, the paint has chipped in several places on the cook top and the disks are all chipped. I am never ever going to buy a Maytag product. Oh, by the way, I called a repairman. I paid $65 for him to tell me that to replace the lock mechanism and the door handle, it would be $400. I can buy a new stove for that, but not a Maytag.

We purchased the washer and dryer in June 2009. This past weekend, I noticed that the washer was leaking. The price to fix it is half of what a new machine will cost. I am very disappointed in Maytag. When I purchased the machines, I thought I was purchasing a quality product. Ive had paid much less for washers that last longer. Needless to say, I am shopping for another washer this week and it will not be a Maytag or Whirlpool. They are pieces of junk!

Purchased a new Maytag washer from a local Hardware store chain. Waited 3 days for delivery. Old washer was hauled away. Started using new Maytag Centurion the same night it was received. There was a funny odor coming from the washer that was discounted as new equipment smell. Saturday the Maytag Centurion washer was leaking some odd lubricant that had the same odor as the mentioned new equipment smell. Since this lube had been leaking out in close proximity as the liquid detergent my wife used a towel to clean it up. This towel went into the laundry with other clothes.Now Im concerned that whatever this oily stuff is, it’s in all of the clothing that was washed with the towel. Since I live on the West Coast and Maytag only answers the phone during the week Eastern Daylight Time I will call (2 days) after the fact. You might do well by finding out what this lube stuff is before you take it home and how youll have to deal with it once it leaks.

I bought a Maytag refrigerator from Lowes. It has the freezer on bottom and I cannot put no fruits or vegetables in my refrigerator - it freezes them solid. Will never purchase this style of refrigerator again. Very Unsatisfied with this product

We bought a Maytag refrigerator two years ago with the front french doors and bottom pull out drawer. We chose Maytag because we thought it was a name we could trust, a good quality merchandise. However, in the last two months, we started having problems when the fridge wouldnt stay cold, the freezer worked fine. We removed everything from the freezer and my husband found the freezer needed defrosting as the back of the unit was a solid sheet of ice. It took hours to defrost and we thought that we had the problem taken care of.. and that we wouldnt have to worry about this happening again. However, we have now had to do this three times in the last two months!! I love the style of this fridge..but am getting SO ANNOYED with having to rip everything out of the freezer and spending HOURS to defrost it! I have NEVER had this problem with any other fridge!! Im ready to replace it, but weve only had it for two years, and I shouldnt have to be spending a fortune on ANOTHER fridge after TWO years!!

We purchased the MMV4205DS over the range microwave in June of 2015 & installed it in July the same year. We purchased the matching range & a dishwasher at the same time as they were running a promo of $150 rebate if all 3 were purchased. They denied us of $50 of the rebate & stated that all of the paperwork was not submitted on time. We received rebates on 2 of the appliances & paperwork for all. 3 were in the same mailing. Hmmm. We were told a 3rd party handles their rebate program. So much for taking ownership. Yesterday the door open message appeared on the control panel of the microwave & now there is nothing; no light, no fan--completely dead. So much for buying American. Maytag does not see that this is a problem? Do NOT buy Maytag!!!

Maytag ser5000 washing machine from hell. When called the customer-service stated over the phone there is bearing problem. When the service-man show up, took one look (approx 50 seconds) at the washing machine (which only 4yrs old), stated he is not touching it and not worth to fix it - get this! Due to bearing! Charged me $200 as standard fee. To put salt on the wound, service-name stated: Ive should told the customer-service bearing problem which is very well known by Maytag! Therefore, save my $200. Note, I will NEVER buy Maytag appliances!!!

I have purchased my top loader Bravos washing machine 3 1/2 years ago and I have had nothing but troubles with my machine. I have had to replace the motherboard twice and I constantly have that foul smell in all our clothes. I have to wash each load twice and still the smell doesnt come out. I have also complained numerous times about the water level not being correct, but they keep saying that is how the high efficiency machine is. I can watch my load washing because we have the clear lid which I like. But at the same time, it gets me really angry seeing how this doesnt clean clothes like it should. I dont believe that the water levels are right at all. I have clothes that dont even get turned over as they are washing and I have even smaller loads than before. I can only clean 4 adult pairs of jeans at one time and I still think that is too much. I clean my machine every time the red light turns on with the Affresh tablets and sometimes I run a clean cycle with just bleach. Maytag has done nothing to try and correct these problems. Its so sad that I have to take my clothes to the laundry mat to go wash them and there I have absolutely no problems. They have the HE front loaders and they have enough water to wash my clothes and I can actually see them being washed. I will never buy a Maytag washer or dryer again. How sad you have all these complaints and no one to help you fix or correct them the right way.

I purchased the Maytag Neptune set in 2004 and was not informed there was a class action lawsuit and was never notified. When washer quit working, I called Maytag who sold me a $300 service contract. They came out and said they couldnt fix the washer and I needed to buy a new one. I paid a fortune for this piece of junk and now have to spend another $700 to get a new washer. I will never buy Maytag again. How can they get away with selling washers that are on recall and involved in a lawsuit?

We 19 years and gently used. The door latch broke. We purchased a used quiet series Maytag dishwasher and found that the door latch failed on this. I recently found over 600 complaints for the same problem. If you are receiving this many complaints and its one of your most frequent complaint, do you think its time for a redesign of the door latch mechanic is??? Or are you relying on your reputation and dont care about quality anymore?This is it for Maytag. Im glad we didnt buy a new Maytag because we would be stuck again with a crappy door latch. If you cant be bothered with fixing your door latch issues and you know that you have a long term problem here, you at least can send a new door handle kit to those of us who are complaining. Of course you wont do that. And the only recourse I have as a consumer is to tell others about the ongoing problem with your front door latch on my social media. Sadly, you are now only another crappy dishwasher with no real quality control. I bought several appliances from you because of your reputation for appliances that last. Seems that is now a myth.

I believe the Maytag Bravo washer and dryer was manufactured so the Maytag man would have something to do once again! Buyers Beware! My $800 washer broke down 1 week after warranty costing me $400 to repair!!! Half the cost of a new one... now the dryer is making horrible noises. I fear calling for repair... or should I just buy a new different one?? My last washer and dryer lasted 30 years!!! Bravo certainly did not have all the kinks out of them before marketing them! Things that I have read that are true: Rips clothes/towels/sheets. No real problems with motherboard like some have stated. Bought Maytag Bravos Washer/Dryer in 2009. No real problems with the dryer, HOWEVER, may with the Washer. Had the pump go out in 2/2010 to the tune of $199.20 due to a small object in the pump. The repairman said it would just take a very inexpensive part from Maytag to prevent this. In 6/2012 washer not draining, clogged pump. All right, new to HE Washers, so told to use less detergent than detergent manufacturer recommends. $79.13 to fix clogged drain. Even though being careful with items in pockets, loose buttons, etc. AGAIN had pump go in 1/13, $214.22 (same problem cheaper in 2010, repair inflation). Wed noticed it was loud on the spin cycle (like a rocket going off) and were told at that visit the bearings would need to be replaced, and quoted approximately $280 to repair those. Havent fixed, waiting for something else to go wrong and then decide what to do with it. So in 4 years paying almost the purchase price of the unit (if I fixed bearings also). Crazy. If you bought a house and had to pay 4/5 of the house to repair it in that short of a time, no one would own a house!!!

Maytag WFW7590FW & YWED75HEFW 24 Compact Washer and Dryer: These 2 machines are a lemon and the extended warranty plan was completely disappointed. Both needs maintenance before the 1 year warranty ends. The washer was the worst between the pair. The washer cannot spin the laundry dry. The Home Depot extended warranty plan was not the cost. It takes 2 business day for the service call to call us back. Then a schedule date was 2 days later. The service person complained about not getting authorization to do the work without charging us. He did even showed up for the 3rd call. He did nothing to resolve the issue and said the diagnostics showed there was a load issue, which was not true. A very light load still didnt spin dry. The washer not spinning clothing dry issue has been more than 1 month and is still not resolved. The repair person Dean didnt even re-schedule another date after not showing up today. There is a 90 day policy that we cant request for another repair person to attend to the issue. The dryer also made excessive noise which was caused by a broken attachment that established the drum.

Replaced an old Glenwood gas stove with this Consumer reports top rated Maytag. The boiler doesn’t work as well as we’d like, but after more than 20 years, no major issues. My wife & I both cook, & as with most things, I’m happier with it than she is.

Purchased Maytag dishwasher July 2013, installed August 2013. Stopped working Oct 2, 2014. Called Maytag and they offered to let me buy a service pan for around $300. No thanks, stupid Im not. I also sent an email. Have not heard back but Im sure Im still out of luck. According to the California class action suit regarding the Maytag control panels, Maytag is saying there are no problems with them. Wish we all had some power to make them see otherwise. Will I ever buy a Maytag product again. No. They would be much better off keeping their customers happy rather than spending tons of money on ads trying to get new customers. Since Maytag is owned by Whirlpool, they will not get my money either.

Bravo XL washer and dryer - I had the washer approx 2 months before it leaked water all over the laundry room. The company replaced the washer after two weeks. Now the dryer has gone out after two years. If it cost me the amount stated by other consumers I wont be fixing it.

Purchased my Maytag Dishwasher MDB7749SBM on 5/13. 3 weeks ago the panel went out! I found others have had the same complaint on their Maytag Dishwashers too! I also learned this model was discontinued from Home Depot. Is this because Maytag knows this Dishwasher was JUNK and that they allowed consumers to buy this model knowing it had these problems - I believe so! I find it absolutely crazy that Maytag has not issued a RECALL and now I am out almost $700 plus if I get it fixed or buy a new one, I am out even more $$! There has to be some RESPONSIBILITY taken from Maytag!!! This Company was built on an excellent reputation but now this company reputation is considered POOR for selling defective products and doing nothing about it!

I purchased a Maytag Centennial washer and dryer on February 4th. It was delivered on the 11th. I am dissatisfied with the performance of the washer. I use the same amount of detergent and fabric softener as I did for my 15-year old Maytag washer, but the wash is not as soft as with the old machine. Also, the wash when finished appears to be a lot wetter. What is wrong? What else can I do?

Love my washer. Very durable. No issues with it in the last 4 years and I probably use it at least 5 days a week. Has lots of options to wash different types of items and mine is big enough to wash a full size comforter.

25 months ago, I bought a brand new Maytag stainless steel microwave. We had upgraded all of our appliances except the microwave when we moved in our home. Our first purchase was the Maytag refrigerator. Should have learned my lesson from that because after less than a year, the freezer on the bottom went out twice! We bought this new microwave to replace an old one that didnt match the other appliances and was worn out. Two months ago, the code SE started appearing and then would go away after a few minutes. Now it doesnt go away and you cant use the microwave. I finally called a repair person since its out of warranty and was told that it would cost over $300 to fix it. Really! Im so angry because now I have to take money. I dont have to replace a microwave that should have another few years of use. Nothing at all reliable about a Maytag. I doubt Ill buy anything else they make.

Stove does not heat evenly in oven. Electric burner cannot be turned down to low or simmer, then it will not cook at all. Other burner turned down to low does not stop bubbling and stays at a high temp. There is no consistency. I am extremely disappointed and curse at this stove every day. Model #MER7664XB. Maytag dishwasher, MDB4651AWW was purchased on 15/02/2010. Touch panel was replaced under warranty on 16/08/2010. Touch panel became defective on 04/07/2012. It was $103 for the service call: panel was not replaced (too costly, > $200). My 2-year old dishwasher is now useless. The touch panel on this model has failed twice in two years and is obviously a design failure. I would ask for a free replacement panel.

I have been reading the recent comments about the Maytag Bravo I purchased in 2011, and is sitting in my laundry room broken down. The timer wont advance past 18 minutes. I have reset it to factory default a number of times to no avail. I am very frustrated that the customer service offered an extended warranty for $319 to cover the service repair and another 1 years warranty. My washer is three years old! The warranty they offer is half the cost of the purchase price! The quality of this machine is very poor. I am truly disappointed with Maytag, who used to be a company you could trust. They have lost my trust along with my business.

This Bravos 300 washer has never cleaned clothes adequately. I have 3 sons who are athletic and this washer does not clean sweaty or dirty clothes even with extra rinse. Now my machine is 4 years and 3 months old and it needs a new bearing which will cost me $385. The repairman said this is a common repair in this machine. Maytag should be ashamed of the poor quality of this machine. I am now looking to by a new traditional top loader. These HE machines are a joke. I am contacting them to make a complaint and see if anything can be done.

This dishwasher is at 10 years old, but is a real workhorse. This machine cleans like no other! Never worry about our dishes being clean. But we have replaced the seal once.

The sound the washer makes while washing sounds like its barely even washing the clothes! I will never purchase any Maytag products and I wish I could return this one!! less than 2 yrs old and has completely failed to operate. We have been patient with this model. It does roll the clothes to point they are wrapped around and among each other and must be pulled apart before placing in dryer. The wash cycle now takes more than 45 minutes, It fails to spin the load often. Now, it has failed to the point it will not operate with or without any clothes in it.

I wish I had read the reviews before selecting this Bravos XL washing machine. I bought these from Conns Appliance as they were on sale 750. Rounded figure... They were delivered today and the company was professional and set them up, I have spent the last 4 hours washing the same medium load of childrens clothes trying to get them clean. Ive even separated them into smaller loads and am now into the 5th hour of laundering this same load... Im returning them but its gonna cost me 15% restocking fee. If theres a class action please count me in. I thought because our Maytag Neptune lasted so long wed have a great outcome again with these, boy were we WRONG!

We bought a Maytag gas range in Feb of 2011. Shortly after that, we started having an intermittent problem with the oven not maintaining the temperature. It sometimes would not heat up to the proper temp or sometimes would get there but not maintain it. We have had several service calls all for this same problem. Each time they would replace things... nothing worked! We called Maytag and they said they wouldnt replace the unit until the same part had failed 3 times. Well, the service company came out 5-6 different times in the first year and replacing the main panel twice and the sensor and some other thingies I dont even remember. Pretty soon the warranty was running out, so I bought an extended warranty due to the fact that the unit had never been fixed. They sent out two different service companies who also were unable to fix the unit. It is now 18 months since we bought it, and Maytag refuses to do anything since it is out of warranty and the extended warranty company will only replace the unit up to 75% of its cost. So yes, we are very angry with Maytag and the way they wont stand behind their product and their total disregard for their customers.

After only three years of gentle use, my Maytag front loading washer bearing went. The repairman said this was because of too much detergent and the repair bill would be over $1100.00 (more than the cost of a new machine). I would never buy this machine again.

Model # MF12269VEQ1 French doors with bottom freezer - This refrigerator was purchased March 2011 and it is forming a sheet of ice on the bottom of the freezer. We tried unplugging it overnight to see if it would correct itself and it hadnt. I googled this complaint and called the manufacturer to see if there was a recall. It seems a lot of people are having this problem. Several comments are to pour hot water in the drain plug or use a blow dryer to to the plug; however, you have to disassemble the whole bottom freezer, then unscrew the back to get to the drain plug. I feel this is a defect in this refrigerator.This unit was approx. $1600.00 and should not be having this type of problem. Who knows if I could actually get to it to try these things, that it could keep recurring. Im very upset as my husband and I are seniors on a fixed budget. We bought the name Maytag because we thought they built good products.

I bought a Maytag Dishwasher. The control panel has been replaced 7 times! About the protection plan that I renewed every year, the representative said that in order to replace a lemon, it had to break down 3 times in one protection plan year/12 months.

Control panel broken for a second time in 23 months: I purchased a Maytag dishwasher less than 2 years ago at Home Depot. 11 months later, the control panel went out. Specifically, the start/cancel buttons stopped working. A service tech called me under warranty; the control panel was shipped to me, and the tech fixed it. He also told me that they had had numerous problems with the control panels.13 months later, the control panel went out; specifically, the start/cancel buttons stopped working (sounds familiar). I can get nothing from Maytag, except a demand for service fees or sales pitches for extended warranties (at a price that was half of what the dishwasher cost new). They also offered me the free part as long as I pay the service call fees. I told them to just to ship me the part and that Id do it myself. Nope. I must pay the repairman. Now, theyll ship me the part if I pay for it, but they wont ship me the free part. It only comes with a service call.Maytag also told me that there were no reports of problems with the start/cancel button, an obvious lie with a quick internet search. The customer service rep sounded like she knew I was getting treated badly and kept using the word policy. Her supervisor was much more cocky and made sure I knew that I wasnt getting anything from her company.They make horrible products, attach what once was a good name, provide zero customer service, and lie to your customers. Great business practices. I will never purchase a Maytag product again.

We purchased a Maytag front load washer and matching dryer in 2007. In 2010, the main control board of the washer broke down. We spent $450 to replace it.In 2014, the washer stopped working. The dryer started producing horrid odor when we used it. We replaced both with LG recently. We NEVER buy or recommend Maytag products. Stay away from Maytag. I owned an front loading Maytag Neptune Front Load Washer MAH5500 for more than 10 years and first 5 yrs doing 2-3 loads a day for a family of 12 so this machine held up well, and only issue we had with the machine was the rubber around outside needed to be replaced after about 9 yrs.

I purchased all Maytag products for my new home three years age. The dishwasher stopped working 13 months after we purchased it. Since the home was under renovations for the first month, we only actually used it for 12 months. When I called Maytag, they told me that it was either the control panel or mother board and that they could not do anything because the warranty was only for 1 year... and didnt offer me anything to make good on this...NOW three years later, my microwave is displaying error code SE.. control panel is bad. Now I have not had a working dishwasher for two years and this just added salt to my wound. I called Maytag furious that this keeps happening with new products. The only thing they would offer to do is for me to purchase an extended warranty at $350.00 and they would have a repair guy fix the microwave. A brand new microwave would cost the same thing???? They flat out told me that there was nothing that they would do for me, and that they were not going to fix it for free.I filed a complaint with them and never heard back from anyone at Maytag. It seems strange that the control panels craps out within one to three years on two of the four Maytag products I purchased. I WILL NEVER BUY MAYTAG AGAIN... I went back to Home Depot and told them that MAYTAG has LOST me as a customer and that I purchased 4 major appliances from them and two stopped working with in 1 to 3 years. Home Depot was shocked and gave me $100.00 towards a new dishwasher. And I did not buy a Maytag.... I still do not have a working microwave... But when I do have the money to replace it, it will not be MAYTAG. Looking online, I notice a lot of the same complaints about Maytags control panels...... Could it be a scam on Maytags part???

Freezer leaks water all over the kitchen floor in front of this $1900 piece of garbage. My husband disconnected the water line (for in-door water and ice cube dispenser) and it STILL leaks water. I can vaguely remember a time when the purchase of a refrigerator (manufactured in the USA) wasnt necessary more than once or twice in the average persons lifetime. This Maytag refrigerator is our second french door fridge in 5 years. The last one was an LG that had a shoddily designed and manufactured compressor that sounded like a diesel engine idling in our kitchen. Of the two, this one is equally defective but doesnt wake the dead when the compressor starts.It has become glaringly apparent the Chinese practice something I refer to as Cargo Cult manufacturing. Google Cargo Cult and youll understand what I mean. Briefly, they manufacture products that APPEAR to be refrigerators, washing machines, ranges, etc. However, lack of quality control and zero competition from companies that provide a well-made, quality product that lasts more than a year or two allows and encourages these slobs to continue pumping out what appear to be appliances until the consumer plugs them in. Thats when the fun begins.

We bought a Maytag range Nov 2013. My daughter has maytag appliance and stand by maytag. We grew up with maytag. But those days are no longer. It is not about quality, it is about how many did we make, how many did we sell. I am very disappointed with my range. I tried several times to use my upper oven, in disbelief my lower oven was heating. This happened so much that I touch to make sure that the Correct oven is on. I also have problems with my knobs for my burners. I could not turn off burner after finished cooking. We had to unplug range and turn off gas, if we did not do that the burner would have remain burning. This very uncomfortable for us.I still believe in maytag. I am sure we have not talk to the right person. There is too much at stake for the company, too many complaints are bad for any business. I too am a victim, very disappointed, I wont give up. I have a warranty with home depot and they have been great. It is not their product but they sold it. I hope everyone with a lemon will get problems solved. We only want what we pay for, even manufacturer when they buy other products they want quality as well, we all do. Hoping everyone will be able to get justice. Thank you.

DO NOT BUY MAYTAG REFRIGERATOR. I purchased a Maytag refrigerator 3 years ago, now it started to leak water on the floor. Repairman said this happens after about 3 years to all Maytag refrigerators because the water hose is too small and gets plugged which causes water to flow into bottom of freezer; 2 inches of ice on bottom of freezer. Now we have to remove everything from freezer and refrigerator, unplug for 2 days to melt ice so we lose all of our food in freezer and refrigerator.

Model MFT2776FE200 worst purchase of my life! We purchased the Maytag French Door Refrigerator last year. Within a few months, freezer failed and we had to have a retrofit done. Less than one year it has failed again. No refrig for over one month and still no parts. Hundreds of dollars of wasted food and I’m asked by Maytag Service if I have an extended Warranty. I didn’t realized that a new refrig needed to have an extended warranty. Will NEVER purchase another Maytag product again. We are devastated that spending 3k on a fridge means you might as well throw your money to the wind.

All I can say is, Wow. My Maytag washer and dryer have never needed anything in 21 years of service. Purchased in 1997 at Lowes in Chambersburg, PA. Both work and look like new! Both are top of the line units. Would buy again!

I would like Maytag to repair or replace this dishwasher. It has only been installed since November 2014. The only button that works is the auto clean. None of the buttons work. I thought Maytag was a reputable business.

I bought a Maytag dishwasher on June 2008. This new Maytag dishwasher replaced an older Maytag dishwasher that caught fire and was recalled (I found this out after calling Maytag). The new dishwasher (Model: MDB 5601 AWB) also had a recalled part (heater coil) in February 2011. Two months ago, (the unit is now 3 years old), the control board started malfunctioning (certain cycles no longer work). I called Maytag today (Aug 24, 2011) but I was told by a Maytag representative that there was nothing that they could do. After reading so many complaints, I am ready to file a class action suit. It seems that this company continues to perpetrate fraud against an unsuspecting consumer for they knowingly continue to manufacture defective products.

This is my first convection oven. It is a double oven and I am hooked for life. I love the smooth top and use the convection daily. The only small issue I have is that the touch buttons on the range are on the harder side to push. But other than that, I have owned this for 5 years or more and would only get the same type again if I had too.

I want to document my experience with Maytag refrigerator model # 1958XEW1 and serial # K12947360. I purchase this refrigerator several years ago as a result of a recommendation of a general contractor who was doing kitchen remodeling work for me. After doing a brief online research on Maytag I went to Yale Electric a store in Boston to purchase a Maytag refrigerator. Worst mistake I ever made and I will never buy a Maytag product again (sad to say). This refrigerator has been leaking since the day it arrived from the store. Unfortunately for me I didnt notice the fridge leaking until after the warranty had expired (my bad). The leak was such as I could not isolate or say it was the fridge because the water would pool in an area that was away from the frig on my kitchen floor. One day by coincidence I actually saw the fridge leak so then I knew the water on my floor was coming from the fridge. I contacted Maytag who mentioned by that time my warranty had expired, however other people who had purchase this fridge model were experiencing the same problem. Maytag said that this leak problem could be fixed by changing the tubing located in the freezer section of the refrigerator to what they called a duckbill type of tubing. So I had that part sent to me and it was installed in the refrigerator freezer area. As you can imagine because I am writing this negative review that the water leak problem was not corrected and there is still water pooling on my floor from this refrigerator. I will never buy a Maytag product again and I wanted to share this experience with other potential buyers of Maytag products.

We had a Whirlpool dishwasher for 24 years, and when it was time to purchase a new one, I did a lot of research before choosing our Maytag. Reviews by other consumers who had purchased dishwashers was very helpful in making our decision, and we have had no problems in the almost 18 months that we have had this dishwasher. It is very quiet. It washes and dries the dishes with no streaks, although I wash off the dishes before loading them. It provides 5 cycles and 4 options and lights blink, when the washing and drying cycles are complete. I would recommend the Maytag, Model #MDB4949SHBO wholeheartedly.

Side by side refrigerator model #msd255oveu01. I bought this refrigerator Apr. 2011... The 1st year, the ice kept sticking in machine or freezing up. Now they have had to replace the modules 3 times. Once fall of 2012 and and again yesterday, 3/19/14 and they had to come back today to replace that one. I have called Maytag and they wont stand behind it since the warranty is over. I have told them that this is an ongoing thing with the ice maker and I have had to have it serviced ever since I have bought it. I told them from the git go that the ice maker needed replace. The ice dispenser also drops an ice cube on the floor on occasion and if I use crushed ice it jams up. This product is defective and is not a good product.
