Bravos washer is 4 years old. Started making an extreme amount of noise during the spin cycle. Had a repairman look at and showed me the bearings and area under the tub. $400 plus in damage due to bad bearings, rust to bottom of tub and surrounding area. Four years for a high-end washer is pretty bad. Needless to say, I will buy a new unit and would NEVER recommend a Maytag Bravos appliance.

Bought a Maytag Bravo washer, suppose to be the best of its kind from Home Depot. Should of known I was in trouble when it took them over four months to deliver it. It lasted two years before the bearing went on the machine. Whirlpool/Maytag was of no help. Ironically, the machine Im using today is my old Maytag I bought 17 years ago. The repair cost for the new machine was about 50% of the cost of the machine purchase.

It has never failed me and I cant remember when we purchased it. When I grew up, my Mother only used Maytag Washer and Dryer. When I married (almost 50 years ago), I purchased a Maytag Washer and Dryer and have never regretted it.

We purchased a Maytag Bravos Quiet 300 about 8 months ago and it will not clean anything. Not one setting will make this machine clean. You have to wash everything 2 to 3 times. There is no savings of any kind with this machine and I dont know anyone who has the time to wash everything multiple times. Its all about the water; its about as much as you can spit. I ran a hose from the faucet and added 8 gallons about 10 minutes into the wash cycle and was able to clean (float) a set of sheets. I find this energy star machine to be worthless and I would have been better buying an old machine at a garage sale than this Bravos machine. Junk. If you cant float your cloths folks, you might as well be rubbing them on a rock.

I inherited the Maytag Bravo washing machine when I got married... should have stuck with my LG! The Bravo does not clean clothes properly, I have to wash fewer items in each wash and wash them on the power cycle! Wasting time, water, and electricity! Will be purchasing a different brand!

This machine (Maytag Bravos XL) was in our new house and is relatively new. It is the worse machine I have ever owned. I am 58 and cant reach the bottom of the tub to get clothes out. It doesnt fill with enough water to clean the clothes, and repeatedly I have my clothes coming out dirty. I have had to rewash clothes to get them clean at all. Or they come out with grime all over them. I had both a LG and Samsung front loaders in the past, if I could afford it I would throw this Maytag out on the curb! Its a piece of junk.

Do NOT buy a Magtag washer. I purchased a brand new washer from Lowes in 2017. The washer gets stuck in the wash cycle. When I called Lowes, they said to call Maytag, who sent a service person out. The service person recalibrated the machine never ran a cycle and left. We had to call two more times after this for the same reason with the same result where the serviceman left without running a cycle. This was all while the product was under warranty. Since I had three service calls, I called Maytag frustrated that this kept happening to a new product. I was told there was nothing they could do, but if it happens again to have the service guy come back out. When the warranty runs out, I will have to pay for the service tech. Unbelievable. Save your time, money and frustration and buy a Whirlpool! I dont know how Maytag gets away with selling defective products.

On May 11, 2010, I purchased a Maytag washing machine from Lowes. On June 22, 2011, the machine wouldnt empty out on the rinse cycle. Lowes was called as the machine was only one month out of warranty. They dispatched Appliance Plus for a service call which would be $80.00 just to diagnose the problem. It turns out the machine needs three parts - a timer, an ATC switch, and a rinse switch. All totaled, this will add up to over $300.00, plus the $80.00 for the service call.Appliance Plus tried to contact Whirlpool to see if Whirlpool would at least pay for parts, being it was only one month out of warranty. The answer took 5 days and the request was denied. I was told I should contact Lowes Service Advantage and maybe they could contact Whirlpool for a special consideration, again, being it was only one month out of warranty. I made the call and they said to give them two business days turn-around for an answer. On June 30th, Lowes said Whirlpool was looking for the serial number and I provided it. They told me to give them another 2 business days turn-around. On July 3rd, I again called Lowes and they informed me that they still hadnt heard from Whirlpool. Finally, on July 7th, I received a call from Lowes saying Whirlpool denied the request.

A pure piece of junk this wash machine is. It is more of a merry go round than a wash machine. I do not understand how it can be called energy efficient. All it does is spin and spin and clothes come out as beautifully dirty as they were loaded. If you make the mistake of putting a few extra clothes (machine calls itself a large capacity), clothes bunch up and one has to pull them apart. The bleach dispenser was used as one would use a bleach dispenser. However it is all rusted. I had bought extended warranty from Lowes but Lowes did not honor the warranty saying rust was a cosmetic issue. Yet when Lowes sold the extended warranty, they did not specify cosmetics were not covered. It is not even cosmetic. It simply is cheap enamel paint.I have used 200 dollar wash machines but never have I experienced such a horrible and annoying product. I will try one more time to see if Maytag will help out with the rust issue. If not, I will simply cut my losses and buy a regular cheap machine. Maytag should be ashamed of itself. I bought a Maytag because I thought they made the best machines!!! Oh! Well, maybe they did at one time.

Last August I bought the Maytag Bravos XL. I have had 3 repairmen try to fix my problems with it and they cannot. The problem is, they cant fix an appliance that isnt designed correctly! Without water, one cannot wash. Dont be mislead that the huge area inside can be used for large objects like sheets and comforters. This machine is MUCH harder on my sheets and comforters than my old machine with a center agitator. I have shredded rugs, holes in sheets, black lines on clothes and a chlorine dispenser that puts spots on everything. The detergent dispenser hardware is rusted as well. Folks if this machine was an automobile, IT WOULD BE RECALLED!

Disappointing that a Maytag would be a problem machine. Constantly out of balance when spinning and mediocre cleaning. Now it is spitting oil underneath. Am on my way to buy new machine with agitator.

Clothes do not turn over in the wash cycle. The clothes at the bottom get plenty of hard scrubbing from the agitator but the ones at the top barely get wet and never move down to the bottom. Insufficient amount of water enters the tub. The repairman says the washer is working as designed. Neither Maytag or Lowes will take back the washer. Worst appliance Ive ever owned. Bummer!

Maytag Washer 2016 HE top loader. This washer is horrible to use. I hate everything about it. After your clothes are put into the drum and you close lid to start here is what happens EVEN though I select deep water: it puts small amount of water in and then it agitates the whole big load. This is so stupid! Can you imagine a large load of your clothes agitating with a very small amount of water in the drum?So to get around that problem, you have to push pause button and shut the lid after your soap, softener and then listen until that first amount of water fills and agitates, then you have to push pause and quickly put in your clothes. Then you shut the lid and again push the start button so it will fill with more water. Then if youre lucky in at least an hour your load is finally finished. I hate this washer. My boyfriend bought it and I asked him several times to PLEASE return it. He didnt so now were stuck with it for God knows how long. The one good thing about this is I will know to never buy one of these for my house.

I purchased a Maytag Centennial Washer at the end of last year. Within 2 weeks, I knew it wasnt a good washer and asked my husband if we could return it. He said, No. I dont like using the fabric softener dispenser, so I used to use a Downy ball. This washer doesnt spin hard enough to open the ball. I tried 3 separate times. Each time, the ball came out with the fabric softener in it at the end of the cycle just like it was when I put it in. It also doesnt get the clothes clean. Im using chlorine bleach, detergent and OxiClean and our whites are gray. It doesnt get the simplest stain out and the soak feature is a joke. If you use the soak feature, the washer fills up, the lid locks, it soaks and then the water drains out. No spin or anything.Normally, on the old washers, you could just push the knob in to stop the agitation to soak something, but not now. The lid locks, which I cant stand, when the washer is working. I would like to see if it is agitating or to add more clothes if I want. Im not sure who designed this washer, but they should go back to the drawing board. Ive tried every cycle and none of them work well. It also takes an hour to wash a load of clothes. Im just so disappointed with Maytag on every level. This was my first Maytag purchase and it will be my last.

My husband bought a washing machine in August 2019 and now it broke down a month ago. There is a sticker on it that the warranty is 10 years, but this warranty is for the motor and not for everything else. I read on the Internet what kind of error the machine gives me, it turned out to be either the motherboard or the front panel. I did not order the parts myself, called the service, in 5 minutes I had to pay 130 $ to he told me the same thing that I read in Google.... And he said that the repair would cost another 500$ part - 250$ and service fees to replace the front panel or the motherboard. Its ridiculous prices, so I find parts lil cheaper and ordered the motherboard myself, my husband installed it (there is nothing hard to do it) and the machine still gave the same error, I ordered the front panel for 220$ and the machine still gives the same error. Now front panel didnt respond at all, and this brand new panel... So I bet after I will pay to service they will tells me there is something else broken... Maytag??? NEVER AGAIN!So I send all part to the store, save money this way and now I buying a new one, when a year and a half ago I spent 1000$ on Maytag and the service is trying to rob me at the cost of a new machine, and no one gives me a guarantee after the service, I will not have a new one. The way out is possible to read more reviews and take a protective plan for 5 or more years so this is not your problem.

This is was my first time experience to purchase Maytag Bravos XL (MWWB835DW) 5.3-cu High Efficiency Washer. I need it fast replacement to my front loader Samsung washer as it was recalled and had mold issues. I was looking for a High Efficient and Star Energy digital, glass top reliable machine. I may say that I was fooled by advertisement and promotion from the Advertisement and promotion from Home Depot. I did not know much about Maytag Brand but I was convinced by sales person and price promotion. Big Mistake! Huge! I am extremely dissatisfied with this washer, it doesn’t use enough water to cover the clothes! No matter which cycle you use, the clothes don’t come clean.I wash and re-wash my clothes and ending up paying huge water and electric bills as I have to use deep hot water wash each time and after rewash again! Not so High Efficient! After using this machine for just over 6 month all my white expensive towels turned gray and all my whites is no longer white. This washer ruin my clothes. Another problem that this machine doesn’t have small load quick wash and if you have a small load it will go through 50 minutes cycle and I still need another wash after all! If I would wash my king size comforter I still have to do it twice and it does NOT rinse all the water out! I thought I can do big load but this machine cannot handle big loads!My laundry days became a nightmare! I would not call this machine High Efficient at all! Company does bogus advertisement just to fool and attract consumers. This is terrible washer which make me think how possibly this machine is on the market and allowed to be sold? I did not notice problem till very late and I missed my 90 days return policy. Now I have to find another replacement. What a waste of money! I do not recommend this machine to my enemy. Please read reviews before buying this horrible machine. Do not miss your 90 days policy returns. Save your water and electric bills by avoiding Bravos XL. I am hoping that Consumer Protection will step in and evaluate numbers of complaints and will help those who were fooled and ripped off by such a false advertisement.

Can not wash 4 pairs of pants or 2 sheets because they get out of balance when the spin cycle begins. I had to take the clothes out and move them around to keep the balance. Very unhappy. Would not recommend this washer.

I bought a Maytag Bravos washing machine from Lowes in Ocala in Feb 2017. It broke in March 2017. I was referred to a company called Fields Appliance in Orlando Fl. I scheduled a repair under warranty last Friday between 1-4 pm. No one showed up. No one called. I called and called and nothing. BEWARE.

Our new washing machine (Maytag Maxima XTLM Front Load Steam Washer & Dryer w/ Pedestals) has developed a loud knocking while running which the authorized whirlpool repair provider said was due to internal ball bearings. He said that the washing machine caused the pedestal to become warped and the only way to stop the knocking was to replace the pedestal. Whirlpool refuses to replace the pedestal saying that the pedestal must have come that way or was installed incorrectly or was overloaded. There are only two of us and we never overloaded at all. The knocking started several months after the installation. If the pedestal was defective (came that way), why wont Whirlpool replace it under their warranty?

Maytag Dishwashers work great. It cleans well and appearance is very good. I have always trusted Maytag appliances. Its quiet running and also energy saver. If I had to replace I would stay with Maytag.

I have trusted Maytag for many years, more than 60 years, my parents and then myself. My Dad always told me I could trust Maytag over any other brand and that has always been true until I bought a new Centennial Econoserve Washer. This is without question the worst machine ever made. I should have asked every question in the book concerning this machine but, oh no, I just trusted the name MAYTAG. I am so sorry. I cant trust it to clean anything that shows it needs cleaning so you have to wonder what does it clean that you cant see. Im sorry people, I just dont know what to do. I cant afford to buy a new machine and the store I purchased are basically telling me, Sorry, you bought a stripped down model. Too bad! I will never buy another appliance from that store nor will I recommend them to anyone. Too bad since they are locally owned. Anyway, Maytag, you blew it badly to turn out this terrible machine. I bought this washing machine 2 years ago or so. We have always bought Maytag. My mother still has hers she bought over 25 years ago and it still looks and works great. So my wife wanted a new washing machine so I said were going to get another Maytag. Boy did I screw up. What a piece of ** junk. Sounds like its grinding gears all the time, so loud. I close the door in the wash room and I can still hear my investment on a Maytag grinding my nerves because I spent so much on a product of a brand Maytag that I thought would be around for a while. Do not buy a Maytag.

I am so fed up with my Bravos XL washing machine, that I felt compelled to vent and see if others have the same issue. The first two reviews I read complain of the same thing as I am finding. Some kind of scummy residue on my dark clothes, need to rinse, sometimes soak again to get the residue off. Have tried many different detergents. The guy at the store said try cold water! Yeah right. I use half the amount recommended. We have two boys who play baseball. The seller said this would be a great machine. Id almost consider trying to sell it on Craigslist and buy a good used one with an agitator. Spent a lot of money on a fancy looking machine. Definitely overpriced and overrated. Do not buy this machine!

Maytag Bravos Quite Series 300 - We purchased this washer from Lowes on 9-20-11. Weve had trouble with the spin cycle on this machine since we purchased and in December 2014 the washer stopped working and showed the symbol F:51-no part, to be found waited a month for the part; repair fixed and the machine stopped working in FEBRUARY AGAIN same part-still not fixed. Ive always purchased a Maytag but the new washer Im in the market for will not be a Maytag.

We purchased our Maytag washer about four years ago. I love the features, but occasionally we have clothes rip in the machine. We have had it serviced only once for maintenance. It is great with the large capacity. I can wash bedding including quilts and sheets in one wash. Makes laundry day a breeze for a large family!

She did laundry in it for 4 grown boys and 1 girl plus her and her husband. She passed along to my husband a long time ago. And now it does laundry for 6 kids plus my husband and me. I run it 2 days a week sometimes more. The washer is between 25 and 30 years old. And works good still. Im not sure how much longer it has but we are happy with it. I purchased a Maytag 2000 series washing machines. It broke and needed to be repaired within six months of purchase. It continued to break and need to be repaired numerous times and its only a little over 1 1/2 years old. It ripped and ruined clothing on numerous occasions. It would not drain and the door would lock with clothing inside thus ruining them. Both of these issues occurred on more than one occasion. Maytags solution for their defective washer was to keep referring me to my warranty. They were no help at all. My warranty finally came through for me and I was issued a full refund through the warranty I purchased at the time I purchased the washer. My new washer (which is not a Maytag) is being delivered Friday. So finally after being without a washer for over two weeks I will be able to wash clothes again. My experience with Maytag was frustrating and aggravating to say the least and I will definitely never purchase Maytag again. They are far from reliable.

I have had this washer 4 years...I bought this washer in May 2016. It makes 3 very loud noise as it moves into its next mode/cycle. Found out this is normal. IF, it is close to your living room, IT is loud.. I called again, saw that it was not filling up. 1/5/2017.. IT will NOT fill up to wash my clothes properly, clothes were still dry!!! Came out, (they sent a company near my area), said everything is right. I have tried, by sending messages, many times to get them to check. No one seems to care. The machine allows water to go out the bottom, rather than fill in the machine. I watched it myself. THERE should be a recall on this machine, definitely, something is sooo wrong.. I NOW have to put it on BULKY SHEETS full time, to get my wash clean.. NO energy savings there... BUT my clothes are finally clean!! Seriously, something is wrong...

We purchased a Maytag Centennial washing machine from a local business here in Knoxville in 2013. My previous Maytag lasted seven+ years and I was very happy with it. It began to leak water and after two times of having water on the floor, we decided it had worn out and purchased another washer. We immediately wanted another Maytag since our previous one has lasted for quite a while. We bought the new Maytag Centennial washing machine in the Spring of 2011. This is May of 2013 and we have had to purchase another washing machine since the electrical board in ours went out. The replacement part is listed at $300+ and that is without labor to install. Needless to say, I am very unhappy that I have had to purchase another washer so soon... and did not buy a Maytag this time.

I bought this machine about a year ago. It does not wash your clothes good. Stains nor smell does not come out. It makes this god awful noise that can be heard throughout the house... It suppose to save on your water and electric bill but no savings for me considering I have to wash items 2 or 3 times... Maytag Bravos washer MVWB750WQO frame assembly and cabinet rust - I sent letter of internal and external rust issues to Jeff Fettig (Whirlpool CEO) and received no response. Then, I sent letter a second time with an attached signed receipt. Then, I finally received a call from corporate staff member stating they would replace parts but not labor. Labor costs would cost between $350 - $500.00. This is without the initial service call and diagnosis cost between $100 - $125.00. The determined parts list cost would be $700 - 50% for Whirlpool internal cost + shipping be approximately $425.00. This is more than the cost of a new unit or the value of three-year depreciation value of the existing unit. This does not make any financial sense. Whirlpool should provide a new replacement unit at their costs. It has been three months and with no successful outcome. Also, via web research, there are many complaints about Maytag/Whirlpool and I am not the first in regards to rust issue. Therefore, Whirlpool is attempting to limit their financial exposure by only offering parts that they have to agree upon because the labor costs will not support this additional investment in a three-year unit. It makes more financial sense to purchase new or be offered a replacement unit.

Maytag Centennial Washer - If a wash load becomes off balanced, the machine stops. No signal or buzzer or anything to alert me to this. It happens all the time and wastes a lot of my time. Here I am thinking that the wash is going fine only to find out 2 hours later that it has stopped. Anytime I wash more than 3 items, this happens. I will never buy one again and I am telling everyone not to buy. I will be purchasing a good old fashion washer with a dial gauge so I can spin it any time I needed.

I purchase my Maytag Bravos washer from Sears in May 2011. In February of 2014, I started to get the UL message, meaning unbalanced load. I would re distribute the clothes and sometimes that did the trick and others not so much. Now every load comes up UL. I tried putting the machine on the drain and spin cycle to at least get the clothes a little bit drier but the UL message still appears and the clothes are still soaking wet. I lifted the washer up and there is an oil/grease type spin pattern under the washing machine. I called Maytag today (which is now Whirlpool I guess) as the washer has a 10 year warranty on the drum and motor. I was told a service call is $129. When I mentioned that I had Googled the product and saw many reviews with the same exact problem, she stated the Bravos has no common complaints. From what Ive read, it seems to me it would be more cost effective to go out and buy a new washing machine and it obviously wont be another Maytag or Whirlpool.

Maytag ser5000 washing machine from hell. When called the customer-service stated over the phone there is bearing problem. When the service-man show up, took one look (approx 50 seconds) at the washing machine (which only 4yrs old), stated he is not touching it and not worth to fix it - get this! Due to bearing! Charged me $200 as standard fee. To put salt on the wound, service-name stated: Ive should told the customer-service bearing problem which is very well known by Maytag! Therefore, save my $200. Note, I will NEVER buy Maytag appliances!!!

Worst product I ever purchase. I have four kids which are boys. This washer does not clean very good. I usually soak the clothes first before I put it in the washer. Never purchasing their product again. Now I am stuck with this washer because I cannot afford to purchase another one. Hate it.

Ive only had my Maytag Bravos XL Washer for two years and I HATE it. It constantly gets off balance during the rinse and spin cycle. What should take 30 minutes takes triple the amount of time. My washer is in the basement and I constantly have to run up and down the steps to readjust the clothes in the washer. Ive started to just stand by the washer now during the rinse and spin cycle. What a waste of time. I would not recommend this washer to anyone. Also, it does an awful job of rinsing out the detergent and softener. All of my dark colored pants have detergent and softener residue on them after they come out of the washer. Ridiculous!

Absolutely the worst washer I’ve ever had! Do not buy this washer. Even after a double rinse there is white matter left all over everything! I’ve taken photographs of my laundry after two rinses and it’s disgusting. I will be quite happy to submit the photographs at any time.

We purchased the Bravos XL in May 2017.. It quit working on April 30, 2019. Maytag sent me a form letter that basically said I was out of luck.. that sometimes things go wrong with a product or manufacturing. The fact that it wasnt 2 years old yet meant nothing to them. I would like to join or start a class action. This washer should not be sold.

The Maytag Bravos Washer we bought had a stinky odor we couldnt get rid of. We found that clothes had gone over the basket and lodged in the filter above the pump; end of stinky smell. Later, we found that pennies and other small items had slipped into the fins of the drain pump and ground them off. The filter does not keep out of the pump and is not made right to stop damage. I called a local Maytag dealer who said he had a lot of similar complaints. I called Maytag who stated they have no registered complaints of this type and had no fix for it. Avoid the Bravos line of washers - they are not made right and Maytag will not admit it or help you. Bravo for Maytag who are obviously not going to act on it. Make a formal complaint and find if someone has a lawsuit you can join!

I purchased this washer three years ago. It worked fine, but all of a sudden the washer stopped spinning and was not following any of the cycles. Of course it was out of warranty. The repairman states the computer board on the washer is fried and will cost $400 to replace. Several stores have stopped selling Maytag because of quality issues. No more Maytag for me.

After 18 months of use Our Maytag Dishwasher (MDB7749) has the same control panel problem as a lot of other user complaints. I wish I too had read the consumer reviews before my purchase. We will never buy another Whirlpool product!!

This is the worse washing machine ever. Wish Id never have bought it. Clothes come out unclean, washer cleaner cycle doesnt work, water level is almost none, etc etc. I could go on and on, you get the picture. Coming here and seeing 100s of negative reviews and complaints many of which I suffer from as well, just clarifies how bad this machine really is. There has got to be a way to bring a class action lawsuit or arbitrary suit against them. Im pretty confident that there are probably 100s more who are dealing with this shoddy washing machine as we all are.

I purchased a washer on 8/13/12. I had it installed on 8/20/12. It did not clean clothes properly. I went to Two Guys and they said they dont take returns and told me to call Maytag. I called Maytag and they sent a a service agent to check the machine on 9/10/12. They said the machine codes were imbalanced and over stud. They need to recalibrate the machine. I did laundry the same day and still find clothes do not come clean. I need to return the machine. I called Maytag and was told they dont take returns. This machine is not cleaning clothes as it should be and I want a refund!

MCT commercial technology washer Bravos XL - HORRIBLE product, NEVER worked right! Maytag misrepresented this washer. DONT buy it! Lie after lie! Its suppose to be high efficiency... conserve water and energy. I have to use 3 times the amount of water and energy because it doesnt wash the first time correctly. Leaves soap in clothes, just doesnt wash properly. I have done EVERYTHING they have recommended NOTHING works! I will NEVER buy another product from them. Even the repair people and Customer people say they have nothing but problems. Im going to small claims court. Im sure with all the problems we could get a class action lawsuit. No stars.

All of my brand new white wash cloths have black stains on them. They look like mechanics use them to check the oil. And, my white denim capri pants have weird stains on them. This washing machine is a joke. It may be water efficient, but sacrifices cleanliness and stain removal. Maytag should recall this ** Queen.

The HE version of Maytag washer leaves the clothes smelling bad. There are suggestions to remedy this, but why do these type washers cause this? The suggestions dont work. No more HE washers of any brand.

I purchased a Maytag Dishwasher in April of 2011 - Ive had four control panels in that time and the panel gone again - in fact, one panel came out of the box nonfunctional (I counted that one as it was installed although the tech removed it when it quickly became apparently that it wasnt working). Ive got a complaint in to Maytag but I have low expectations as to a satisfactory conclusion. What Id like is for Maytag to buy this lemon back from me for around $400 - I paid nearly $600 (including installation). Again, I doubt this will happen. From my research online it appears that the control panel issue is a latent defect which Maytag knows about but either wont or cant figure out how to deal with it or correct it. I have a scan of the receipt which Ill see if I can upload later. I know about one class action lawsuit for CA residents. I wonder if its been expanded.

Mine is the Chrome Maytag four-burner cooktop model. About $700. I installed it with ease. After two years there are only one or two slight scratches. It sees full meals for two cooked daily. The grate is first class and looks new, the top itself is easy to clean with a damp soapy cloth and mineral oil. There is easily enough BTU power for any size of pro pan. The igniters are healthy and fine and a repair would be easy.

We purchased a Maytag Bravos Automatic Washer 6/28/09. The interior enamel around the bleach dispenser started rusting about six months ago and it’s getting worse. Our white clothes are getting rust stains on them. Otherwise the machine works well, but what a huge flaw. We will buy a new machine, but not a Maytag.

2011 model MVWC2oox W1- spin dry failure - We purchased above top loader in 2011 and have had no issues until now. Currently constant failures on spinning and drying. Spin cycle stops without getting up to speed and appears to be an unbalanced load sensor problem. Also draining is not completed (possible pump going bad). Area tech came out within a week as promise and ran the diagnostics and found no faults. Problem has continued. We do a load a week. Looking for better answers or a new washer.

Failed after only 13 months with light use. I have a Whirlpool extended warranty which I had to fight to get them to honor. Then someone came to fix my washer and needed part was ordered, but part isnt available and company wont tell me when it will be. I have received 6 part availability dates so far. Whirlpool wont help. Over two months now without a washer. Ive asked them to replace machine or give me my money back, but they refused. The Whirlpool Extended Warranty group doesnt answer their phones, was put on hold for a long period.

I purchased the Maytag Neptune set in 2004 and was not informed there was a class action lawsuit and was never notified. When washer quit working, I called Maytag who sold me a $300 service contract. They came out and said they couldnt fix the washer and I needed to buy a new one. I paid a fortune for this piece of junk and now have to spend another $700 to get a new washer. I will never buy Maytag again. How can they get away with selling washers that are on recall and involved in a lawsuit?

I purchased this on sale at Home Depot, 1 year later this washer top load doesnt clean clothes if the cycle does finish at all. I have to restart the cycle, re-rinse etc, theyre still dirty. I dont have time for that, I have four children and my husband works in construction and comes home with filthy clothes that are just wet and dirty when they come out of this washer. I dont usually write reviews but I hope I can save someone else the hassle. I wish I would have read the reviews beforehand, they all complain of the same thing. This washer altogether is BAD! ITS LOUD, it bangs around if I dont put in the tiniest loads, even then, they come out dirty. Dont waste your time.

We have a Maytag Dishwasher Model MDBH949AWB. We have purchased the extended warranty. Today, after more than 100 minutes on the phone, mostly on hold, we were unable to schedule an appointment to replace the control board, or even have them verify that we have extended warranty coverage. It generally took many many minutes to get a person, only to be referred to a different person at a different number. Nobody had access to our extended warranty info, and to go further into getting a repair scheduled, they said they needed that info. I finally went on their website, and after keying in extensive information, I got a screen saying they were having trouble with their website, and to please try again later. So I did their chat, and ultimately they told me to call 866-730-6094. The earlier numbers I called, in sequence, were 866-576-1660 (53 minutes on hold); then told to call 866-265-0029, for another long hold. And then told to call 800-626-4342. Long hold, and I hung up. At one point, I think the second person I actually spoke with gave me an incident number of **. My extended warranty expires in Feb. of 2017, and they even asked me to renew early. Since the warranty seems totally worthless, why would I do that? Terrible customer service. Wont do business with Maytag ever again, and am warning others not do so either.

Neptune washer maxima XL steam - Our machine is only 2 years old and we feel the soap dispenser is defective. That little door inside to choose either liquid or powder is not flush with the basic cup and to make matter worse, there is a V shape hole at the bottom of that little door. Meaning, fill it up, and while you are looking for the softener in your closet, all the expensive liquid HE soap is on your floor! And when you close the door, if you wait for starting the load, all the soap goes into that rubber gulley instead of being sent over the clothes. I just got off the phone with them, they wanted to send a technician AT MY EXPENSE - when I do feel it is a deign mistake, not a use/abuse on my part. I proposed instead to send them a picture. They refused. I proposed to send them the soap drawer, they refused as well. I will never buy Maytag ever again and dont recommend to anyone to go to this Brand name!

The Maytag Bravo Washing Machine was sold as the top of the line. In reality it is very difficult to work with for three specific reasons. First, the spin speed is too high causing the clothes to be wound into tight balls causing pilling and the need to iron everything from t-shirts to workout pants. Second, the spin speed is so high that you can only put a few towels in the washer at a time or the machine goes off kilter several times a cycle. Finally, if you lower the spin speed the items take forever to dry. I used this for less than 30 days and tried to return it but Maytag would not take it back. The only cycle type I can use is the rapid wash unless I want to spend all day washing and drying one load. I hate this washer more than I can describe and will NEVER purchase another Maytag product. It absolutely ruins your clothes and Maytag takes no responsibility for making a very bad product.

The Maytag Washer Model # MVWB835DW is the worst I have EVER had!! I have 6 kids, my husband and myself who I do laundry for and this was supposed to be a XL washer so I can do large loads! It does not do anything to stains and all my clothes come out with clumps of powder and if I use liquid it leaves greasy residue on them! Everyone in our home has had rashes from the washing powder not getting rinsed out and my husband who gets grease and oil on his clothes has all stained clothing because of this washer that does NOT clean anything! I used to be able to get every single grease and oil stain out until I purchased this washer! My 9 yr old now has a scalded skin from the washing powder not getting rinsed no matter how much I use!! I even tried using vinegar to make it dissolve and it does not help! No matter what we do it does not fill up nor wash the clothing properly!! This washer needs to be discontinued immediately and anyone who has it have the option of exchanging it with a better washer! It is absolutely ridiculous that they know this washer does this yet keep selling it!

I purchased my Bravos (ecoconserve) washing machine in 8/2013 from hhgreg. The problem I have is this grinding noise with the spin cycle. So I unplug the machine because the lock lid light is flashing and wont unlock unless I unplug the machine. I grew up on Maytag so that was the reason I purchased this machine but never again. I am so disappointed in this product. :(

Owned my Maytag Maxima front loading HE washer for just under 2 years. Went to turn it on one day and got an error code that I later found out meant the computer board went bad (a very costly expense). I called Maytag and explained that a $1200 washing machine should last more than 23 months and if they stand behind their products they should do something to cover this repair. Even after speaking to a manager they told me too bad they couldnt help me. But they would be happy to sell me a $350 extended warranty.... Never again Maytag/Whirlpool!

DO NOT BUY Whirlpool Corp Appliances, ESPECIALLY MAYTAG. They do not stand behind the units they sell. We dropped $600 on this Commercial Grade wash machine (5.3 cu. ft. High-Efficiency White Top Load Washing Machine with Deep Clean Option, ENERGY STAR Model MVW7232HW) and paid to upgrade the lines to stainless steel. It died after 22 months, a bad seal leaked water internally, fried some components (no water ever leaked from the unit onto the floor) and despite there being a 10-year limited manufacturer warranty on parts sticker on the unit... the fine print says only the tub and motor are covered.There is no way we could have known the seal was leaking and it was not the result of misuse (overloading) or abuse. The parts to fix it are back-ordered months and cost more than a new unit after install. Glad I paid $150 to learn all this. It also did not wash great on most settings. Purchased at Home Depot, they refused to stand behind the product as well.

This is in reference to Maytag washer MVW7232HW0 that broke after 5 months. Maytag sent a technician out who claimed we needed to replace 3 parts. We waited almost a month for the parts to come in just to have the technician say that didnt fix the problem. We have been waiting a 1.5 months for a resolution with nothing in sight. Now we have to either way another TWO months for another part, buy a new washer and get refunded for the old one (but WE would be responsible for the almost $300 price difference it now is), or wait for a new washer to come in stock and Maytag will replace it. However according to them there are no washers in stock for the foreseeable future. This company has been a joke to deal with. I have everything recorded and will take this further.

I purchased my Maytag Centennial Commercial Technology MVWC200XW in May 2012. This is the second time in almost 3 years that it breaks down. The basket decided to drop today and by the time I realized that it did, my whole bathroom had flooded, the water spread down the hall into my spare bedroom and soaked through the floor, also flooding my basement. I called customer service. They are sending a repair man next week, but as for all my ceramic tiles that are now cracked in my bathroom and my hardwood in the hall and bedroom that is full of water and are lifting off the ground. Its my responsibility to call my insurances to fix it. Yet it was their washing machine that caused the damage in the first place. When I purchased the washer I didnt expect to have to repair it every year. Not impressed! I do not recommend this washer.

Not only does the water not drain properly causing an insane amount of stench of moldy water being trapped, but this washer has had nothing but problems since we got it. Error code after error code, problem after problem. So disappointed. My husband wanted an LG and I said it had to be Maytag because Maytag was the best. Thanks for making me a liar Maytag!

This is the absolutely worse washer I have ever owned! My clothes actually come out dirtier after they are washed. It leaves white stains on clothes that I have to scrub out by hand. Maytag you should be ashamed of yourselves for coming out with a washer like this. It takes me 2 or 3 times to wash clothes and I have to use the power wash, extra rinse, and maximum clean setting to even come close to cleaning. It is cheaper to take my clothes to the dry cleaner now than use the washer. I called Maytag numerous times, and they said that they will charge for a service call unless there is actually a mechanical issues. They will not honor repairing the machine if it does not wash clean. I will definitely NOT recommend this washer.

We bought our Maytag Neptune washer in 2005. We chose Maytag because of their reputation, their headquarters in Michigan, and because looking at the machines in the store, they seemed to be well built. Were we ever wrong! You would think paying $1000 for a machine would get you a product that lasts longer than 8 years! Our other washer (a Whirlpool) lasted 20 years and was still working. Im now consistently getting a 3e error code. In searching online, I found that this is a pretty universal problem and thought maybe Maytag had a recall on it. What a waste of valuable time. I did find out the machine was actually a Samsung. This seems like fraud. If I wanted a Samsung, thats what I would have purchased! Contacting Maytag Customer Service was like Land of the Stupid. After getting the runaround and being sent to a phone number and website that only covered Samsung I called Maytag again. I was put in contact with another person who could supposedly help me with the recall. Even though I told him what the problem was, he gave me the robot response about sending the GFCI plugin and told me, That should make your washer safe to operate. Seriously??? I replied, This wont fix the problem because THE WASHER DOESNT WORK and we got the recall part long ago. He then wanted to schedule a repair appointment. Not doing that, considering how stupid the Maytag reps I had talked to so far had been. Putting the hubby on the case, luckily hes pretty handy. On the upside, it was fun responding to the Maytag customer service survey that night, LOL. All of our other appliances are Maytag and they have all been great, but this washer is an unreliable piece of junk.

I love the front loading machines. Fabrics dont get beat up like they do with a top loading machine with an agitator. My Maytag front loader doesnt have as many bells and whistles as others, but I love it nonetheless. Reliability was very important to me when I bought it, so I talked to a couple repair men to see if this was one they worked on a lot. When I found out they didnt, I bought it.

This is my second washer in less than 5 years, going third. No customer satisfaction. Maytag/Whirlpool dont care, Customer Service doesnt care - all I hear when I call is, “too bad”, “so sad”, “call a repairman”, so you can spend another $100.00 plus. I hope this doesnt happen with someone elses brand when we buy it. Shame on such a big company.

I purchased a Maytag Bravo washer 2 years ago and it is the worst washer I have ever used. My clothes are never clean. It is always out of balance and is so slow and takes forever to do a load of laundry. It has started stopping on spin and have to unplug it to get it started back then it sounds like a jet coming in for a landing and has to restart the spin about 3 or 4 times before it ever finishes. I have had the repairman to look at it and says there is not anything wrong with it, but something has to be wrong for it to stop on spin and have to unplug it for 5 mins. in order for it to reset itself and start again.

I love my Maytag washing machine. It have different settings for the wash, also a size load for your washing, and I love the rain cycle. You could do single runs with Downy or extra runs which is great. Especially great if you’re doing blankets and towels you need that extra rains. Great reliable machine. Highly recommended.

I purchased a new Maytag washer (Model# MVWC565FWO) from LOWES 18 months ago and the paint is bubbling on the inside of the door. Neither Lowes nor Maytag would do a thing. We have spend many $1000s at Lowes and considering the replacement cost is only $126 for a new door I can see Lowes following Sears for their lack of customer service and diplomacy in matters like these.

Bought a Maytag top loader washer from Lowes in July 2017. Have had nothing but problems due to faulty computerized guts. Worked intermittently and took a long time to wash compared to older machine. Repairman out twice... replaced computer board and still have problems. The machine was made in Canada according to the label. Hey Canada, what is going on making junk? Too bad that we did not know beforehand what junk the Maytag brand has become. Lowes should not sell this junk to help its reputation and valued customers.

BUYER BEWARE!!! We purchased a Maytag Dishwasher mdbh979sab1 on November 23, 2012. It is now July 31, 2014. One year and a half and the control panel is not working. Ive looked at estimates online of $450.00 for parts and labor. Customer service is no help at all, nothing they can do. She actually recommended KitchenAid for our next appliance. Maytag has become a terrible brand. We will never buy from them again. By the way, they also made our Jenn Air Oven, which turned itself on a number of times while we were away. 350 degrees. That was a total loss as well. We are filling up landfills with our Maytag/Whirlpool appliances and you will too.

I have a top load commercial tech washer with an agitator that is brand new as of September 2019. I have done all of the troubleshooting suggestions and nothing works. I use 1 tsp of liquid cold water detergent, deep fill, extra rinse, and clear liquid oxi and my darks still come out with white stains. I have had a Maytag tech check out the machine and it checks out without issues. I would never recommend this product to anyone!

I sent an email to Maytag regarding my Maytag Bravos washer which I purchased two years ago at a cost of $1,100. I have started having problems with the machine last week. I kept getting the UL error code. I called a certified appliance person to come out to find out what was wrong. I do not believe any of the appliance people know what to do for these machines.First, I was told it was the control board that needed to be replaced, then I was told the motor had a crack in it and it needed to be replaced, and then the springs needed to be replaced. So they replaced the springs. This was a Tuesday afternoon. It worked fine until Wednesday of the next week and I started getting the F51 code. Just let me say if you cannot stand behind your parts on a $1,100 washer that is only two years old, then something is very wrong. I am in for $159 on repairs so far. Who knows what the cost will be to finally get the machine repaired.

Had Maytags since we got married (57 yrs). The first one lasted over 30 years, the second about 15 years, then got a Kenmore that washed beautifully, but lasted 3 years. Have a newer Maytag now that is supposed to be more efficient, but takes forever to wash a load. The biggest disappointment with new appliances is there is no timer to let you know what is happening during the cycle.

In April 2010, I replaced my washing machine (still functioning after 12 yrs) to upgrade to what I believed to be the top of the line Maytag Bravo 5.2 HE washing machine. Module # MVWB850WL0 type: 580-02. This machine of 3.5 yrs leaks underneath and after having the service tech come to look he advised me it will cost over $800 to fix (I paid over $900 for this unit). He says its the bearings and went on to ask me if Id been using the HE laundry soap (as if Im an idiot) and went on to ask whether Id been washing bedding. SERIOUSLY?!? !... After much research on this issue, I discover that there are similar complaints all over North America. Very disappointed and I want this lemon replaced by Maytag.

I purchased a Maytag Bravos line washer model # mvwx500xwo back in Oct. of 2010 thinking that it would be great to save money on the water bill. I first had issues with it putting holes in my clothes. I then found out if you do not zip up all zippers and button all buttons, the machine will rip them up due to the high speed spin cycles. Now, the washer will not fill with water or start the wash cycle. I mean really, its less than two years old and I have to shell two hundred plus dollars to fix a washer that only cost $500. I guess I know what brand not to shop for next.

I just bought this piece of junk... Like everyone else I guess I didnt do enough research! I have had this washer for less than 3 weeks and just like everyone else I am so disappointed in how it tries to wash without water! I too have tried different settings. I had to wash a load 3 times... pausing it while trying to get the rest of the items wet. Its ridiculous... of course now to try and see if I can return it! Yah right... Home Depot does not have a good return policy and Im afraid I will be out 800+ with this washer. This is ridiculous! It really is.

Im not sure that the guys who designed this unit ever actually tested it. During the wash cycle, if you have something like a fitted sheet it will actually stuff all of the surrounding wash items into the sheet until it forms one huge, round ball. Then it gets really interesting because the vicious spin cycle sends the machine marching around the laundry room and this happens even if the wash has not balled up. I now try to evenly distribute the wash within the tub prior to starting the wash cycle but it doesnt work. So now I grab a cup of coffee and newspaper and sit with my washer throughout the entire spin cycle to make sure that the hoses dont tear out of the wall.

Maytag is the worst washer company. I owned my washer for two years and I had two different problems with it and now I have a 3rd. The first was the same day they delivered the washer, I needed a wire harness. I should have returned it then but I didnt. The 2nd was six months after the first one. A wire came loose due to the washer shaking and the 3rd, Im not sure why it wont drain but the tub is full of water. I called Maytag and they really didnt care as long as they got their money. They referred me to three companies that fixes washer. Two of three was already out for this washer. If I didnt know any better I would think Maytag gets paid off for every customer they referred to these companies. I would never buy another Maytag Bravo or Whirlpool product. Im very dissatisfied with their Bravo washers. They lost a long time customer.

After only 3 yrs of normal 2 person family use my Maytag washing machine completely failed. The ball bearings in the transmission seized requiring the replacement of the transmission. At the same time the control panel failed yielding the machine completely unusable. The repair cost was more than originally payed for the machine, forcing me to purchase a new one (not a Maytag). Maytag said since there was no recall on this model that they could not help me. I bought the Maytag because of their claim of quality. This was not my experience either with the product, or the customer service.

Bravos X high efficiency... efficient at not cleaning your clothes, efficient at ruining clothes, sheets, towels, may be efficient at being a boat anchor. Maytag offers nothing. Have had washers last 20 years or more. Someone, or some atty. General should bring a class action suit. Horrible product. Dont buy one. DONT BUY MAYTAG/WHIRLPOOL. THEY DONT TAKE CARE OF THEIR CUSTOMERS. JUNK. That report was very fair as requested. You really dont want to know how I really feel.

MVWC200BW0 - Washer starts to fill and then drains before completing the fill cycle. Contacted Maytag through the live chat on their website (cant talk to a real person on phone). Since my one year warranty had been expired 12 days I was told to contact a certified repair person. They offered no help in solving my problem. Told nothing they could do, warranty had expired. Maytag will never get my business again. Now I know why the Maytag repairman is so lonely, people have quit buying Maytags.

I purchased a Maytag Bravo Washer in October of 2011, I had a repair man come to check it since the spin cycle sounds like a jet is revving its engines in the laundry room. He told me that the repair cost is $493.50 to replace the transmission. The machine also has problems with the circuit board. The lid lock goes on and off and on and off so you cannot run the machine. Speaking to Maytag they just kept saying your warranty is over and we dont offer any assistance on the repairs. The machine cost $530.00 in 2011 and they think its reasonable to have repairs more than the cost of a new washer. They said they had no complaints on the model. My repairman advised not to buy Bravo, Cabrio or Calypso models since they all have the same problem with the transmission and electronics. I think they should at least pay for the parts, the transmission is $300. And we didnt even price the electronic part of repair.

PURCHASED WASHER FROM LOWES. IT STOPPED WORKING IN 2 WEEKS. CALLED MAYTAG FOR SERVICE. First repair service wanted to charge me. Next repair company Rawlings made 2 visits, looked at washer 1st visit said they had to order top latch. 2nd visit need circuit board. 3 weeks passed no latch, no circuit board, nor repair service. DO NOT BUY A MAYTAG WASHER.

Brand new washing machine model MHW8200FW purchased at Karls, a Ferguson subsidiary, in Madison, NJ end of June, 2017. I wanted to buy a top of the line machine and this is what the sales person recommended to me. Problems started soon after purchase. Initially I contacted Maytag because the machine wouldnt spin dry a cotton bath mat weighing 4.5lbs soaking wet. I was told I should put more items in the machine to help balance it. Well there WERE more items and the machine wouldnt spin dry them either. I tried every trouble shooting Maytag suggested. Having exhausted my nerves, I called for service. The technician came and said these machines are extremely sensitive and that sometimes they wont even run an empty cycle. He said this is a common complaint with these units. One of his suggestions was to take bath mats, duvets, comforters... articles like that to a laundromat.I did less than 10 wash cycles after his visit when the washer started having more issues and finally broke down completely. The technician who came this time wrote a repair order indicating a mechanical (Stator) AND electrical (Control Panel) breakdown ($500+ for the parts alone if the unit wasnt under warranty). He also stated that he had never seen such problems in a brand new machine.I contacted Maytag for an exchange. Maytag customer service wrote to me that the breakdowns are ... normal, with all the units we sell some may have a defect in the first couple of months... and refused to exchange my defective unit. I can accept that there may be a defect that will warrant a repair, but in this case there are multiple defects in separate systems - mechanical and electrical - within the first month of service. This shouldnt warrant any further discussion, only a quick replacement and an apology.

I have a 6-month-old top load Bravo Washer. It has destroyed two bottom fitted king size sheets and 2 shirts that now have holes. It apparently slices the sheets during agitation. I have a service policy and called the service agency. The technician said there was nothing wrong with the machine, yet it literally ate 2 more items. Help! I need a solution to this problem.

Good deal, recommended by dealer friend. Front loaders, high efficiency, 12 years or so. Finally needs new bearings on the washer. Replaced electronic board 5 years ago. High repair costs would be the worst which is related to low-quality construction. I expect my next pair to last as long as the last 1. Full size, not stackable but oversized drums. Relatively low water usage, lots of different settings for different loads for washing and drying, automatic water level and wrinkle guard.

I purchased this machine (MVWB765FW0) because I had a good experiences with Maytag in the past. There is a manufacture defect in this particular machine. If I were you, I would not buy it. I’ve lost two sets of bedsheets and my wife had a dress that she loved that got ripped up at the bottom between the agitator and the base of the machine. Maytag knows about the problem and does not have a solution.

We have a Maytag Neptune washer we purchased new in 2001. The Neptune was useless on My mechanic clothes, but good for delicates and blankets so we have an old style washer to clean my regular clothes. The Neptune was at work on a blanket when we smelled it burning. With it unplugged, I got around to investigating the situation and found the motor control was shorted and burned. I tried calling Maytag. I was asking about an upgraded part or recall. They didnt want to help. The representative was condescending and after I listened to her attitude, she said someone would be in touch. NOTHING. Now I see these suits and I guess I understand. My house could have burned down - they dont care. Maytag is garbage and Im sorry I ever thought otherwise.

I owned an front loading Maytag Neptune Front Load Washer MAH5500 for more than 10 years and first 5 yrs doing 2-3 loads a day for a family of 12 so this machine held up well, and only issue we had with the machine was the rubber around outside needed to be replaced after about 9 yrs.

Dishwasher is just 2 years old. Touch panel is bad, not Maytag of old. Waiting for the corporate apology. Seems to me that this is a common problem and a case of poor engineering. Also seems like a case of the middle American getting worked over by the big corporate giant. Not happy. Will not suggest Maytag to anyone. Not looking forward to having to replace something that should have lasted significantly longer.

I agree with everyone one else and their experience with these washers. I took advantage of a credit for those replacing old washers with new HE washers. IF I COULD ONLY GET MY OLD WASHER BACK!!! Its only 2 years old and it sounds like - what others have said, like a B52 taking off (during the spin cycle). I dont have rust spots inside of the machine or out so Im not sure what the issue is but I really dont want to invest in a couple hundred of dollars to this thing. It stinks, doesnt clean well and now this! VERY disappointed...VERY. As a single mom, the thought of finding money to replace something that is new just disgusts me! Nothing like the old washers that last for 18+ years. Nice Maytag I will never purchase another product of yours and will spread the word!

Maytag Washer over 3 years old. Often problematic not functioning smoothly! Maytag invented this defective machine to intentionally rob the customer with all the probs that comes with it - poor design & quality, & not logistically programmed! Even aftercare/customer service SUCKS!!! Now, sensor spinning option is no longer working, drum not operational. No more Maytag!!!

Purchased a Maytag Bravos top loading washing machine in Sept. 2015. First time we used it the machine vibrated enough to shake the walls. We thought the balance was off. Called Lowes (installers) and they came out and said it was level. There was something fishy about the grinding type noise it made. Also noticed that in spite of all the noise that the clothes essentially stayed in the same spot while the basket moved. Sometimes the clothes on top never got completely wet or rotated through the wash water. Called Lowes again and they looked at the machine and said it needed replaced. But the 90 time period for replacement had passed. Lowes said it would be repaired. A technician came and replaced the basket, saying it might have been out of round. He left, we used the washing machine and it was worse. He came back an hour later and talked with Whirlpool and they said there might be something wrong with a gear. Hes going to replace the gearbox sometime. Meanwhile we are stuck with a washer that makes a lot of noise, vibrates terribly and doesnt appear to do much washing. If noise equated to cleanliness then it would be fantastic. But had we known about the noise or the many complaints we would never have made this purchase. Whatever happened to Maytag quality? Bet that Maytag repairman isnt lonely anymore.

I hate my $500 Maytag washer that looks like a regular agitator washer but isnt & doesnt even fill up halfway with water. It definitely doesnt clean my clothes well enough either!

I paid over $600.00 for a new maytag washing machine two years ago. It quit working a few days ago and the man said itll cost over $400.00 to fix it. Why do you people build this type of junk? I would like to hear from someone on this and why I had to pay $300.00 a year for a washer that is totally worthless now??????? ** please contact me. This is crazy to buy this washer and it only last two years.

Purchased my Maytag Dishwasher MDB7749SBM on 5/13. 3 weeks ago the panel went out! I found others have had the same complaint on their Maytag Dishwashers too! I also learned this model was discontinued from Home Depot. Is this because Maytag knows this Dishwasher was JUNK and that they allowed consumers to buy this model knowing it had these problems - I believe so! I find it absolutely crazy that Maytag has not issued a RECALL and now I am out almost $700 plus if I get it fixed or buy a new one, I am out even more $$! There has to be some RESPONSIBILITY taken from Maytag!!! This Company was built on an excellent reputation but now this company reputation is considered POOR for selling defective products and doing nothing about it!

I am extremely unhappy. This is a terrible washer (Maytag washer MVWC565FW). I am so sorry I didnt buy a GE. Terrible loud noises, shakes and vibrates like a plane taking off. Funny smells as if something is burning. Repairman came 1 week after purchased and stated nothing was wrong. A huge waste of money, I HATE, HATE this horrible machine!!! Totally unsatisfied, I would never purchase anything with the Maytag name again!! Wish I could get my money back!
