The set is very dependable and energy saving. I love the ease of use, the alerts that sound when a load is done, and the ease of loading and unloading the clothes, towels, and linen. It is the one set of washer/dryer that doesnt dance across the floor when I have a heavy load. I am very well pleased with my Kenmore appliances and recommend them to anyone interested in reliable appliances.

This thing moans and groans. Washes really slow and takes your laundry hostage for quite some time, set it on hot and cold water comes out???? The dryer has flashing lights that dont mean a thing???? Kenmore has no customer service you can talk to???? Basically INFERIOR JUNK.

The model number of these two Kenmore refrigerators is 106 71194101; S/N for the one in our kitchen is EM2815239, the S/N for the one in our basement is EM3413223. The refrigerator in our kitchen started depositing water in the cabinet area, coming out of the tower. I placed a container under the tower to catch the water and this continued for a week, when we finally called the service department. The service representative knew immediately what was wrong with the refrigerator. He said it was frozen up and was depositing the water that should be going into the defrost pan into the cabinet area via the tower. He said it was a faulty design of this particular model refrigerator. He tore the entire freezer area apart and there was ice accumulated on the coils and under the bottom pan of the freezer area. This cost us $140 (a senior discount). Just a couple of weeks ago, this refrigerator again started to deposit water in the cabinet area, so we knew what the problem was and we tore the freezer area apart, as the service representative had done and removed all the ice that had once again accumulated in the freezer area. These refrigerators are supposed to be frost-free and this is getting to be quite a job, as in the last week, we also found water had accumulated in our basement refrigerator. Quite a large amount of water was in the cabinet as we do not get into this refrigerator daily. So once again, we had to put all the food in coolers and dismantle the freezer and had to use a hair dryer, due to the fact that the ice had become very thick around the tower and we could not remove the bottom pan until we melted it. This is getting very annoying and a lot of work having to remove all the food from the freezer and trying to keep it frozen, so it wont spoil. We have been very loyal customers of Sears. We have always had Sears washers and dryers, many tools have been purchased by my husband, lawn mowers, blowers, etc. Actually, I worked for Sears in the Credit Dept. Canton, OH after my graduation in 1948, until I was married in 1949. I was a very active shopper from the catalog, for our children, when I was working, made if very convenient to use. Just had to pick up the items at the catalog dept. I still buy many things of clothing for our grandchildren and great-grandchildren from Sears. We are so disappointed in these 2 refrigerators. I would like to know if you have any suggestions as to how the poor design of these refrigerators can be corrected so they do not freeze up. Thank you. All clothes were not shrink by using Kenmore. Have features I want and easy to use. The most important thing is save water and electricity. I am very happy when I change my washer and dryer to Kenmore.

Has worked fine. NO problems with the appliances. The only problem weve had is because our basement floor slopes so sometimes the dryer rattles, but that has nothing to do with your brand.

I bought the washer and dryer set with the pedestals when I had my house built 8 years ago and spent over $2,500. I will never, ever again buy such an expensive set and will never, ever again buy anything from Sears. The dryer went out last year (year 7) and had more error codes than I knew what to do with. The cost for a technician to come out and just look is approximately $300 and that cost only includes them coming out - nothing is yet fixed. So, I went on the internet and read that the problem I was having was likely a control board. I called Sears to get a new one (approximately $300) and was told (after I specifically asked) if I could return the board if it turned out not to be the problem. I was told that I could. The board they sent me was reconditioned (RECONDITIONED!) and didnt work either. I called Sears to get a return part and was told since it came from their overseas supplier, I could not return it. So, I spent a ridiculous amount of money for a simple dryer that doesnt last and then spent more ridiculous amounts of money trying to fix it only to learn that not only does Sears not stand behind their products, but they also dont stand by their return policy. I bought a new dryer through Home Depot -- a holiday sale and military discount provided me with a new dryer for UNDER $300. Now the washer is gone. No error messages, nothing. Ive learned not to call a technician and not to order replacement parts from Sears. Im simply buying a new washer, which will no doubt be much cheaper than trying to fix the joke that Sears put out. I highly recommend buying from another company (Sears cannot be trusted with the parts, service, or guarantees). They suckered me but good.

My first washer/dryer set was a Kenmore. They lasted me 28+ years before the washer died. I bought a new Kenmore Elite set that has a large enough capacity for all types of bedding, mattress covers, quilts, etc. It uses HE soap, doesnt require much. Takes longer to wash, but saves on water. I was told that washers lasting anywhere near what the older ones did are a thing of the past. The new ones, if youre lucky, will last 8 years. Mine is currently 2.5 years old, so Ill have to wait and see. Definitely would recommend Kenmore.

I purchased a Kenmore Elite top load washing machine. Luckily, I did purchase the warranty at that time. Shortly after the purchase, the control board went out and needed to be replaced. If I hadnt had the warranty, it would have cost me which is seriously ridiculous, that a new washer should only last a few weeks. The machine continued to have this error code to come up. We would turn it off and restart it. It would work for a little while, then the code would appear again. I finally ordered another control board in December 2011. This one worked for a month or so, then it again started having the error again. The Washer at this time continues to get an error code, although now it will not go into the spin mode no matter how many times we turn it off and on, or unplug it.This has been a learning experience for me. This washer has been the worst major purchase I have ever made. I will not buy another Kenmore product. Its sad, because I thought they were a good name. I actually had purchased the washer, dryer, and the refrigerator at the same time. I havent had a problem with my dryer but had a major water problem with the water line to the refrigerator. I had to replace the water line twice to the refrigerator. It had leaked and flooded through the floor to the ceiling below.Needless to say, I havent been back to Sears in a a number of years, other than to buy the filters for my refrigerator. At this point, I cannot wait for them to get back to me regarding this stupid washing machine. I feel that if you spend that much money on a machine, it should last for more than 5 years without needing major repairs.

I dont remember ever having any problems with the washer or dryer that required a repairman until we had the appliances for several years. The appliances received a lot of use, serving two adults and two children from diapers through gym classes.

Both my washer and dryer are used. Probably 15 years old at least. I have had to replace a belt on the washer and the element in the dryer. Not a big deal though, they are easy to get parts for and work on.

This dryer works really well. It has tons of settings for various kinds of clothes, is easy to load and use. I was able to reduce my laundry time with this. It hasnt broken down at all on me yet, and I use it at least once every week. I would say this dryer is really built to last, and it shows. Solid and sturdy! Sleek, pretty and fits in with the other appliances I have. It is easy to see the status of your laundry, and I really prefer the look over the look of a top loader. Absolutely a good investment. Im really happy I saved up for this. Its energy efficiency has saved me a lot of money. My old dryer used way more electricity!

The washer washes great and the dryer dries all of our clothing fast. It has also saved on our electric bill since making this purchase. The only thing that I wish is that it was a little smaller so it would fit into my hall room better. I had to remove my doors that did cover the washer and dryer. I love the color. I have the stainless one and it matches all of my other Kenmore appliances and it is very easy to keep clean and neat. I got a great deal at Lowes. I used a coupon and I caught my set on sale. I would recommend this for any savings budget for a family.

Its easy to use. Its easy to clean. It gets your clothes very dry. Love the settings options. I definitely recommend this product. Its also spacious. The whole family loves to use it. Kids are finally doing laundry. Its very durable with very easy to replace parts if ever necessary. I would say this product is very reliable. It was always there when I needed it. It actually has the same style as a lot of in home dryers. Its nothing too over the top just enough to get the job done. I wouldnt say this particular product is for show. Its to do exactly when it says. Perceived value was as suspected. Nothing more nothing less. You get exactly what you pay for. No complaints. If I thought I didnt like the value I would have returned the product. Its worth the purchase.

In June 2010, I purchased a Kenmore front load washer and dryer, model #4027-2900. I understand they were made by LG. I have had nothing but trouble with this washing machine. About six months after I had the washing machine, the rinse water would not spin out and the repairman came out and changed a computer part. Then, I started getting brown streaks all over my clothes. They told me to clean the machine and I told them I did. They have been out several times and cannot give me an answer why this keeps happening. The last man told me to go to the store and get washer cleaner and keep putting it through the cycle until the machine is fully clean. I clean the machine several times a month. I do not get brown streaks on my clothes every wash. I have had Kenmore washers and dryers all my life and I have never had the problems with Kenmore like I have on this machine. The washer and dryer were $850 a piece. I have always bought Sears appliances but I will never buy another Kenmore appliance. This machine has ruined many of my clothes. If you dont catch the stains when the wash is done and you put them in the dryer, the stains are set. I had to throw away many of mine and my husbands clothes. I keep the door open and drain the water from the bottom. I wipe the ring down every time I use the machine. I clean the machine at least twice a month. No matter what I do, the stains still get on my clothes. The repairman said try and only fill the machine half full. I have done all these things and I still get the brown stains. Why get a maintenance agreement when they cant solve my problem?

Very dependable and washes the clothes thoroughly. The rinse cycle of my machine is quiet and each load stays perfectly balanced. Each load of laundry comes out perfectly ready for the dryer. My wife and I agree that the amount of clothes needed is met by our washer. The washer has never failed on any of the cycles. This includes the final spin cycle which has never been out of balanced. First impression of the machine boasts simplicity and easy to operate for beginners. The machiness instructions for cycles around the knob is the right size to see. The washer was reasonably priced. Fact is it fit our budget and the quality of the washer was amazing. Plus the warranty attached to the washer cost was minimal and covered repairs if needed.

I owned a Kenmore dryer for over ten years, and I never had problems for the first 8 yrs. I would use my dryer for those cold and early mornings before leaving the house, so my coats would be warm.

Bought my top load washing machine with matching dryer 11 years ago and have never had any issues with it. My 19 year old grandson does his own laundry too and figured out all the features on his own.

Whether you are doing regular washing and drying with household items such as towels, sheets, or other things, the final results or appearance of the items you are cleaning is very satisfying. Because of the outcome, you will never have to use a professional dry cleaners which can save you a bundle of money, with the same outcome, great looking items.

When I got married, I got a Kenmore washer and dryer Of course with the changes within the Sears family, the service has changed but the quality remains. I have had them for 18 years and they are still working great. I have the Kenmore 70 series dryer and the Kenmore 80 series washer. I do several loads of laundry each week. I even soak football and baseball uniforms overnight and wash the next day. I have never had a leak. I have had the dryer serviced once and the washer once. I like that my washer is top load and it has a separate compartment for bleach, fabric softener and detergent. The dryer is easy to keep the lint trap cleaned out. I hope they never stop working because they do not make them last like mine.

Kenmore Elite Oasis gas dryer - We bought this dryer in 2006. We got it home and hooked up and it would not work. Call Sears had to fight to get them to bring us another one. Within the first years they had to come fix it. Then They say I only bought 2 protection plans on it. I know it was more. It flashes from 40 on normal cycle to F and keeps doing it. Do not buy this dryer. Everything in my house is from Sears. No more Im done with them. They lost a loyal customer. Its model # 110. The flashing F must mean its over heating cause now that it has cooled down its not doing it. But not drying clothes either. Like I said never again buying from Sears. Its buyer beware.

Several years ago when we first purchased Kenmore devices they were reliable and the service was great. The past few years the devices have not been as good quality wise or service wise. The last dryer we purchased was just dumped off and not properly installed. We had to go back to the store and complain before the job was done correctly.

Purchased a pair of HE Kenmore (Whirlpool) washer and dryer on June 23, 2016 for a total of $1,523 for the pair. After following the operations manual to the tee due to frustrations of clothes not getting cleaned, this washer without the traditional agitator in the middle just DOES NOT get clothes clean. So we tested the washer for two months but when we gave up, we found out that Sears will not take them back or replace even ONE day over 30 days. I AM CONVINCED THAT SEARS LOST CONFIDENCE TO STAND BEHIND ITS PRODUCT! Equally, this is why I lost confidence and loyalty in SEARS. My wife and I have been wondering why Sears products and customer reviews have gone so bad that they have to close one hour earlier than everyone else and where did all the shoppers go? You can learn why real quickly by shopping at your nearest Costco, whose customer service is through the roof! I was willing to buy a new pair with the agitator in the middle of the drum to no avail. Sears management, what else are you looking for to gain back customer loyalty? If not interested, simply close up shop, and some other hungry retail chain will be glad to take your place.

Dryer has been dependable for years. Gets clothes dry in a reasonable amount of time and we have never had any issues with it. I would definitely buy a Kenmore again. Our Kenmore dryer has been completely reliable. We have not had one issue with it. Weve taken it on two cross country moves and it still works flawlessly. The appearance of our dryer is fine. Its not a showpiece but its pleasant enough. It is white and has clean lines, with blue accents on the dials. I am very happy with the value of our Kenmore dryer. We bought it starting out in our first house without a lot of money, but it has been dependable and we have not had any reason to upgrade even though we could now.

This dryer does a fairly good job of drying clothes, however it does not take lint out of the clothes very well at all and the seal on the dryer door was not put on very well so I had water dripping out of my dryer which certainly was a first! It is definitely not a top of the line dryer, but overall it isnt too bad. It is pretty reliable with getting clothes dry and has a large capacity drum which is really nice. You can easily fit a very large load in it and unless it is something bulky like bedding it will be dry in an hour. The appearance is very appealing. And it was one of a very few dry dryers we saw when we were shopping for dryers that would fit into the space we needed it to fit into. While I am dissatisfied with the fact that it does not remove lint from the clothes very well, I think it is a fairly good buy for what it cost us. Especially because it uses so little energy it is saving us a lot on our power bill.

Drying one item doesnt work well in this dryer because the item keeps landing and getting caught on the filter vent by the door. Also the fins in the barrel do not go all the way to the ends of the barrel so it captures the clothing item and keeps it there in the corner, thus not getting dry and could maybe a fire hazard.

I have both a washer and dryer. They are amazing and work so much faster than my old ones. The dryer takes less as much time and my consumers bill has gone down. Which is awesome!! I got them about a year ago on sales at Lowes here in Jackson, MI. Everyone there was really helpful on helping find what I needed. Since I have 3 children--2 girls and a boy I wanted something that we gonna hold a lot of clothes. My girls go through so many clothes and are constantly changing it seems like I always have dirty laundry!!

This washer is very good. It gets the job done and my clothes come out clean. Thats all I look for in a washer. It doesnt have to be super fancy just as long as my clothes are being cleaned. It has never given me any problems. It has simple instructions on how to use it and it will be a reliable washer if you follow those instructions. It is just a regular washer nothing fancy. But it gets your clothes clean and it does it in a timely manner. I like a plain look to a washer and dryer anyway. I dont care too much for super fancy. I got this at such a good price. I couldnt pass it up. I bought it as a set and together they make the best washer/dryer investment Ive ever made. I would totally recommend the washer and dryer.

Kenmore has always been great and these washers and dryers keep it up. Best performance Ive ever had. Highly recommend this company to all my friends and family. Now getting a good wash has never been better plus the best part its all energy-saving. There is unbelievable value in this product. My old set was running my electric up but with Kenmore Im saving on average $20 on my electric bill each month. I have had my fair share of washers and dryers but none has stood up to the reliability of Kenmore. Now I dont have to worry about my clothes not being dry because of a dryer going bad. The sleek look makes my home look great. Not only does it work amazing, it looks amazing too. I dont have to be embarrassed by an ugly set anymore.

Bought a dryer from Sears, it didnt work. After much haggling with rude sales person & his manager in Victoria BC they sent another. That one didnt work either! Had to speak with someone in Philippines to get it picked up & receive credit to my VISA. Never shop there again... This is why they are going out of business.

Purchase a kenmore washer and dryer in september 2012 from sears. Today august 17 noticed rust forming around the perimeter of the bleach dispenser. First amazed that this should happen to a kenmore. Then after reading similar messages on the web, disappointed that Kenmore has not done anything to correct the problem. And by disavowing any responsibility for the issue under warranty, by doing this I have the impression that they knew of this issue some time ago. I will try and correct the problem but like many others have found.... rust never really goes away. May be the last time I buy a Kenmore and products from whatever manufacturer actually makes the machine. There was a time, if in nothing else, you could trust a Kenmore.

I got my Kenmore 18 years ago and it is still going. Both washer and dryer. Had to call someone out twice because a sock got lodged somewhere weird in the washer and the dryer wasnt heating so I took apart the back and went at it with a vacuum - good as new. I really hope that Kenmore brands today are as good as the ones I bought almost 2 decades ago as I know Im on borrowed time. We have not been gentle with the washer and dryer either. I mean not changing the lint filter for weeks (fire hazard) and jam packing the washer so it goes off balance. This thing is damn near indestructible.

I have two kids who play rough and tough outside always leaving me with cleaning mother nature’s finest. It’s not just the detergent you use but the quality of the product and what it can offer as far as economics. The best clean clothes worth my buck is only Kenmore for my family and me. As far as my Kenmore washer and dryer I have never had an issue with what so ever. I pushed these products to the limit and its never affected the performance or how well it cleans. This are not new products and have been used almost daily and still clean as good as the first day with no problems or repairs needed.For me it was a new model at the time. My main catch for the Kenmore was how clean it got the clothes and how long they last. I have to say though the final decision for me was style. Nothing over the top but classy and it’s still chic. I was very pleased with the price. Yes we could have gone cheaper but you get what you pay for. The price was fair especially with how long it last. You get your money’s worth and some.

Sears Kenmore front loading washer and dryer with service agreement. Machines frequently broken. Under service agreement it takes a minimum of 3 weeks to get machines repaired and sometimes as long as 6. Service appointments are in 8 hour window disrespecting time of the consumer. I will not purchase any additional Kenmore appliances as I am tired of frequent breakdowns and long time until the machines are repaired.

These HD ones are fantastic. Our washer is top load and the dryer is front load. They handle bigger loads but use less water and detergent/suds which is good for the environment. We have had one for a few years and would only buy them over and over.

Recently purchased Kenmore washer and dryer from Sears. Used the washer first time this evening. Midway to the wash/spin cycle, it made very loud noise, vibrated severely, jumped around, its side wall hit the edge of the nearby counter top leading to a dent/scratch, crushed the pipes between the machine the wall, damaged the vent pipe of the dryer, hit the dryer and pushed it around. A broken piece of bolt flew out of the machine. I stopped the machine. There were some broken pieces of plastic on the floor behind the washer. Called 1-800-469-4663. After a long hold and 2 transfers, someone scheduled an appointment with a technician 5 days from today. Very disappointing!

I loved the quality of the refrigerator and the fact that Kenmore has a great brand name and recognition. Have used their washers and dryers for years with no issues. I loved the fridges top double doors and the bottom pullout freezer. There was plenty of space in both the upper and lower portions of it and pullout shelves were fantastic and spill proof. Lots of room but lighting in the interior could have been a little better but it was just fine. The freezer was great also.

My dryer is easy to use. It has a dial to turn to what setting the dryer needs to be on for your load of clothing. It is simple to use. It is a straightforward dryer. I dont like the lint trap because if it gets overly full the material will drop down into the machine, and the material is hard to get out of the dryer. Currently I need to clean the lint out of the machine because the dryer is not drying as effectively, and that is my only complaint about the dryer. Otherwise it is a great dryer.

They have been good, but the dryer is dying after ten years. It is a stack unit, and I am not impressed with the dryer at all. The washer is awesome, and is full size which is also excellent. Honestly, it just keeps on working, other than the dryer not being really effective. I thought it was due to the venting. But I changed the hose and that still doesnt work.

I was mostly happy with my Kenmore washer & dryer. The best part was having the warranty so that when they had trouble I could get them repaired. The dryer belt did wear out a couple times, but that is par for the course I suppose.

My previous Kenmore dryer was twenty years old but had to replace due to cellar being flooded or it would be still working today. My dryer now is six years old and runs like it is brand new. It is very reliable, efficient and trustworthy. It is well-made and strong and sturdy. Has a modern appearance and fits well. Was easy to install and runs quietly. It does the job for my needs, and does a good job at drying the clothes. This dryer was of great value to meet my budget. For the size and price it is the ideal dryer for one or two people in a household. It is a product I would recommend to anyone.

We have had both our washer and dryer for over 10 years. They are worry-free appliances with consistent high performance. I would definitely recommend Kenmore products. Very reliable. Able to wash and dry a large volume of clothes at one time. Attractive looking and hard working. The appliance size fits in nicely in our laundry area. They are also very easy to use and pretty quiet to use. Both the washer and dryer were very affordable and I would not hesitate to purchase a Kenmore product in the future. We have had no service issues ever aside from ordering replacement pieces. The appliances are over 10 years old and are used constantly!

Now considering replacement as continued use over 8 years necessitates a new unit. Washer leaks through the front door, have to keep a towel on floor. Lint in dryer builds up too fast and is hard to clean. Sears now closed doors, no manufacturing agent available.

Since we purchased the Kenmore Elite washer and dryer, the dryer has not functioned properly. It has never dried clothing completely. A large quantity of clothing cannot be placed to dry either, as the clothes are left completely wet. A year later and it has not gotten better. Sears sales and customer service are worthless to call. We are very frustrated with the entire experience!

When drying clothing or blankets, it is very quiet and runs so smoothly. The second thing I most really enjoy and love about the dryer is that like a lot of other ones I had in the past, this one doesnt rock back and forth. I am very happy with my dryers performance. Reliability is so great. I am proud that if anything goes wrong with it, I can rely on customer services warranty. Fortunately I dont think Id ever need their warranty since the dryer is stable so far. I am very very satisfied with the appearance. Its like no other one I have had in the past. It tends to give off a pretty nice look/style unlike the past dryers I have had in the past. Value is great too. I had purchased it the day it was on a special clearance sale. I think I paid like $250, but it doesnt matter, It is definitely worth more than that price and I am glad I have finally found the dryer I was always looking for.

I owned an electric top loading Kenmore washing machine and an electric Kenmore dryer for 18 years. In that 18 years, I never experienced any problems with the washing machine. It always worked like a charm and I did laundry for 5 people, including a baby, in that washing machine for 4 of those 18 years. The only problem I ever had with the dryer was the cord had to be replaced after several years of use. There was also one incident where the dryer wasnt drying properly and I called the Kenmore service division to make an appointment for them to come out and repair my dryer. The dispatcher I talked to with Kenmore suggested that I check my dryer vent on the outside of my house to make sure it wasnt stopped up with a birds nest or something else. I checked the dryer vent and it had several dirt dobbers nests in it. When I cleaned out the dryer vent, the dryer went back to working perfectly and, thanks to their employee, I didnt have to pay Kenmore a repair bill. We had to move from the home we were renting into a small apartment that didnt have washer and dryer connections so we donated our 18 year old Kenmore washer and dryer, which were still working perfectly, to a non profit organization.My electric Kenmore washing machine was a top loading washer and the knobs were on the top of the washer behind the lid. The electric dryer had a regular door on the front of it and the knobs were on the top of the dryer towards the back. There was a large lint catcher on the top right hand side of the dryer. The main thing I loved about the Kenmore washer and dryer, as far as their appearance, is that they were made of heavy duty metal vs. plastic. I also liked that the mechanisms of the washer and dryer were simple mechanisms that didnt wear out and cost me hefty repair bills.The electric Kenmore washer and dryer were well worth every penny we paid for them. I used them extensively for 18 years and the only thing I ever had to pay in regards to a repair was a new cord for the dryer after several years of use. Having used them for 18 years, and they were still working perfectly, I would have to say that I definitely got my moneys worth out of them plus some.

I love my washer and dryer! Kenmore is a very great and dependable brand! The only brand I would trust and use!!! The products are well worth the money I spent on buying them and they are very durable and last a long time! I have currently had my washer and dryer for 3 years and never had a problem out of them. They work the same as they did the day I bought them!!!

Broke soon after warranty expired then started to leak. Just ended up replacing the unit with an LG. I will not buy Kenmore ever again. The washer started out working very well. Unfortunately the machine did not last as long as I hoped it would. The dryer has worked fine. The design and aesthetics of these machines is very pleasing and attractive. I have been very happy with the way these machines look. Since I just had to buy a new washer three years before I was planning I dont feel as if the value of the washer is that great considering.

After 35 years of faithful performance by my Maytag washing machine, without one single service call, it finally bit the dust this last May 2015. As I have had generally good luck in the past with my Kenmore products both in my home and several rentals we have, I dutifully did my research on a new Kenmore washer (I dont even remember if it was an HE or not as this is a new term for this 76 year old woman). Upon telling the salesperson which machine I wanted she immediately told me that no, I didnt want to buy that particular item because there were a lot of complaints about it and she steered me to this other machine (in retrospect I believe this was a good old bait and switch) which miraculously could wash up to 27 large towels in its cavernous belly. No mention was made about where you would dry these 27 towels of course.Anyway, I was impressed and thats what I bought. Although after only five months I have not experienced any of the horror stories as told by others, I am extremely disappointed in the performance of this machine, from the tangled clothes, poor cleaning results (which could be because of the extremely low water level) and the lint that clings to the wet clothes even though Ive programmed for 2 rinses, and which is not necessarily removed in the dryer. I do not like this washer in the least bit and after reading the complaints written by hundreds of others, I only wish I had read them all earlier. But knowing what might be lying in wait for me, I can say that Im happy I buckled under the pressure and bought the extended warranty that the salesperson almost pleaded with me to buy. She must have known I would need it sooner than later.

I enjoyed my Kenmore washer and dryer. I have it for over ten years and never had a problem with it. Even to this day my sister now owns it and uses it on a daily basis. Kenmore is reliable and a brand that you can count on.

I had one of the first touch panel washer and dryer from Kenmore. They were sleek black and had a night light panel under the top lip of the appliance. They were incredibly durable, many custom cycles and a joy to use for many years! When I sold my modern home in the hills of Nashville, the buyer had it written in the contract that the Kenmore washer and dryer remain in the house! I miss them!

My Kenmore dryers appearance is good. The front load feature is convenient especially when drying blankets as being able to see items helps to know if things are bunching up. My Kenmore dryer is a good value because it is energy efficient and allows me to dry more items together which in turn means being able to do fewer loads.

I have always been happy with my Kenmore washer and dryer. My family has used both for many years with minimal problems. They have outlasted other appliances in our home and continue to do a great job with multiple daily use. I have never had a problem with the dryer running a full cycle and the clothes still being wet, which I have experienced with other dryers. The washer has always run smoothly. Id recommend Kenmore appliances and will most likely purchase the same brand when it finally comes time to replace my current washer and dryer.

My washer is a top loader and completely white, same with the dryer, but with different settings. The washer for heavy or light loads, the dryer for regular or delicate. The value was average but it was worth it for the quality of the product. It takes about 15 minutes to wash and the clothes come out smelling fresh and clean. It works very well, the same with the dryer, and helps keep the colors bright and the whites white.

Kenmore because its reputation is great and is backed by its word and is economical-priced. I like the style of the models and nothing bothered me and Ive had the dryer 13 years and the washer 1 year replaced another brand. If it was a bad deal I wouldnt have bought it and they are known to have great appliances and always works and good and doesnt fall apart. Kenmore works and doesnt let you down, and you can count on them to help you with your appliances and set you up with top of the line products that you can count on.

This is an easy to use dryer. It is easy to figure out the controls and it runs very smoothly. I would recommend this dryer to someone who is looking to buy one. The dryer fits quite a bit of laundry. It definitely fits more than the previous dryer I owned. I can easily dry all my clothes in two dry cycles, sometimes one. The appearance of this dryer is very nice. It is not too bulky and it fits in well with the washer I own. I think this dryer is a great value for the money. For the price I paid, I am very happy with it.

White with blue numbers. Paint has held up good and is dual vented so you can vent through the floor. Cost about the same as other dryers but seems to be more energy efficient. Electric bill is cheaper after purchasing this dryer.

I have had this machine for 3 years now and hate it every time I do laundry. The only function I can use is the timed dry. When I use the other functions, the machine doesnt dry the clothes or takes all day to dry one load. I called a technician to come and look over my dryer. This technician told me that the dry clothes are coming in contact with the sensor inside the machine next to the lint holder and left. I started putting smaller loads in the dryer and did not help. So I tried the timed dry to see if this would work and it does. But why spend money on a machine if you can only use one function? Useless is what I tell ya.

Ive always owned Kenmore but this is my best washer thus far. The clothes come out so clean. My favorite is the sanitize cycle. Great when you have animals and kids. Holds a lot more than I realized. It really gets clothes clean and fresh every time. Dog wet on my bedspread. Was so upset was going to just throw it away. Decided to wash. Couldnt believe one, no smell but spin cycle dried so good. Was safe on low in dryer for less than 20 min. Love display front. Modern with the option to lock the door or stop to throw in something I forgot. Easy to clean with a quick wipe down. The front load detergent tray is easy to use and take out. Wasnt sure at first on cost compared to other washers. Was afraid to spend that much. Thought I needed bigger capacity. So glad I bought. Perfect for the price. Huge clean loads.

It dissolve detergents fully and dont leave any deposit of laundry detergents. I have an washer that is loaded on top. Its white and takes very little to keep it clean. Very little to clean the insides of the washer and leave a good looking machine outside and inside. Kenmore is a leader in laundry machines. There is an automatic value when a Kenmore product is bought. These are well built machines and they have a good endurance rep.

The Kenmore brand is usually a good product, little to no issues with it until we had it for about 7 years. Then, it wouldnt ring out like it was supposed to. A part went out on the dryer that needed replacing. We couldnt find anyone to come out and replace it so my husband and I had to replace the part by ourselves.

The performance of my dryer is so good. The clothes come out looking like someone almost pressed them. It is perfect for any family to have and enjoy. My dryer is so reliable since it keeps running day after day and week after week and the clothes dry well. I dont see needing a new one for a long time. The appearance of my dryer is so appealing that my friends love it. I told them they need to buy the same brand as they can always get the job done right. The value is so wonderful as I know when I am looking for a new dryer I will choose the same brand as how can I go wrong with this super brand that does the job right every time.

I have had several Kenmore devices and they always long lasting and reliable. Both my washer and dryer lasted for over 15 years with little repairs. The washer cleaned my clothes great and was still working when I replaced with a front loader and new dryer. The pair I have now is great. Purchased in 1999 and they are working great. Ive had a freezer since the 1980s and it is still going strong.

It does a great job cleaning my clothes. The cycle takes too long, I dont like the stop button (it is easy to break) and its difficult to stop the washer and add an item because the lid locks. Very reliable. I have owned the washer for over four years without any problems. I use the washer several times a week, at different settings. The washer appearance is fine. I was looking for something simple to use and small enough to fit in my laundry closet. There is nothing fancy about this washer but I wasnt looking for anything complicated. I was not planning to buy a washer but my old washer/dryer combination broke down so I was forced to buy new machines. This washer fit well within my budget without sacrificing the features I was looking for.

It washes the items the first time and takes up very little water. It is basically dry when you put them in the dryer making the dryer work less and getting clothes done quicker. It should hold up for at least 5 years before needed minor repairs as long as you treat it right and not abuse it. You should have no problems out of it for a long time. You can do less loads per day which in the long run saves water and power. It also runs in less time, but gets them just as clean as a normal washer would. It basically pays for itself! I dont know what else to say about it besides that it is a good washer and you would be happy to have it in your home.

Kenmore washers are good at getting most pretreated stains, such as dog paw dirt and organic stuff. Kenmore dryers are superior and get my clothes dry in half the time of my old Maytag! I even had a Filter Queen that I loved but Kenmore beats that all to pieces. Kenmore always has been reliable and I imagine they will remain that way.

Fabulous HE front loader washer and dryer. Gets the job done quick and quietly. Large and/or small loads. Great for a large or small family. But can only use HE detergent or you will have suds and washer will stop.

For 35 years I have purchased Kenmore washers/dryers for 3 households and have been very satisfied. Last week I bought Kenmore model 23102 washer and am very dissatisfied. 1. Warm water is COLD. Cold water is cold as it should be; hot water is hot as it should be. 2. Water fills EXCRUCIATINGLY SLOW. 3. One day after delivery I called for service; was told had to wait 4 days. Why would Sears not prioritize immediate service on a new delivery? So I waited 4 days, then waited 3 hours (taking off work) for technician to come. First he doesnt know where to look on the machine for the serial and model number. Then he finds it and starts to diagnose the washer. He immediately tells me this model WILL NOT FILL ANY FASTER-this is how it is designed, and that the WARM setting is just as it is. I say my other Kenmore that was just replaced gave WARM water that was warmer than cold and not as hot as hot. He tells me this model does not work that way. Essentially hes saying THERE IS NO WARM WATER TEMPERATURE. He says it works on a thermostat vs. older models mixed cold and hot water. He goes to his truck and comes back with a thermometer of some kind. He tests the warm water, then drops it in the water which killed it, so he couldnt actually verify the difference between the temperatures, but BOTTOM LINE HE SAYS THERE IS NOTHING THAT CAN BE DONE TO GET WARM WATER. Then he says this IS the warm setting in Florida, which is nonsense, because WARM on the previous washer and 2 other washers I have access to in friends homes, give WARM water. I AM VERY UNHAPPY AND CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS MACHINE OR SEARS.

The washer washed very well and was quiet. The dryer dries very well. I could dry large load in less than 30 minute. The washer is large enough too to wash what would normally be one and a half loads. I never had issues with either my washer or dryer. I have 3 teenagers who use the appliances also, and they pack it full but it also still work awesome. My washer is the common top fill and my dryer normal front fill. I do like that they are a little larger than the old school ones. The knob are easy to understand and push. I really paid a lot more than I would have if I bought it from Home Depot or Lowes. I bought it from rent a center but I appreciate them financing me so I guess it was economical.

I love love love my Kenmore washing machine and dryer. I got a great deal for the set and could not have got a better deal. They work so well and are also quiet and quick. I never have to question their reliability. I always know when I go to wash and dry my family’s clothes that my washer and dryer are going to work. They fit well in their space too and I am happy with how they look in my home. These are beautiful and stylish machines anyone would be proud to have in their home. Would definitely recommend.

Kenmore front loading washer, Kenmore dryer model 6800. I bought them because they were highly rated by Consumers Reports. Also, the washer was on sale. The price was good. Washer rubber gasket around the door had to be replaced after 3 years of use. Ive had the washer 7 years and the dryer 5 years. This is the third Kenmore dryer I have owned. Both machines are mid line. Both are high capacity and energy efficient.

Kenmore...durability, reliability, great brand. Repairs are almost non-existent with Kenmore appliances. My dryer is about 8 years old, and my washer is 17 years old and still going strong with almost NO repairs! I want to have a large enough size washer and dryer that I can do huge loads, appliances that are energy efficient, good price, good warranty, repair service to my home, long lasting, brand reputation. I would have to say that poor quality and excessive repairs would be the biggest deal breaker for me. I have never had this sort of problem with any Kenmore appliances that I have purchased! My washer and dryer are both the top lid models with a center post. I bought the washer long before the front loading models were available, and although I could have purchased a newer type of dryer, I am quite happy with the old drum model.

I hate, hate, hate this washer! I have found the fastest, most reliable way to use this washer is to only use the normal/casual cycle. If there is ever an inbalance, EVER, you are screwed. The washer asks you to rebalance the wet load after which it adds MORE water which causes the load to remain unbalanced asking you to rebalance the load to which it adds EVEN MORE ** water, and on and on and on. The only solution is to take out all the clothes and hand wring them. There is no spin only cycle only rinse and spin. What kind of machine doesnt have a spin only cycle? This POS! You can tell the designers have never done a load of laundry. The first time this happened it took 5 hours for one load. As I write Im trying to wash a winter jacket. Its taken 3 hours and Ive resorted to stomping out the water in the shower before I put it in the dryer. As for the length of a wash cycle, dont count on washing more than one load per day. There isnt time for more.

Nothing beats a Kenmore for durability and reliability. I got my dryer over 17 years ago, and have not needed one single service call on it. It may not be quite as efficient as it once was, but what is? When I put my clothes in and press the shart button, I know without a doubt that it will start and run. I never have to worry that this is the day for it to break down. Also, it has a good appearance. Finally, considering what I originally paid for it and how long Ive had it, Id say its been an amazing value. I can only hope all my appliances would last this long.

Can occasionally be lagging, the washer never gave issues but dryer sometimes requires extra dry time. The pair lasted for years. One of best sets Ive owned. Only occasional issues. Some machines have a much greater times where they dont work properly. For how long the product lasted, Id say it only had a few bad days. For the house layout we had, the machines appearance worked fine. Not too bulky, lots of room for moving around and not bumping into the machines all of the time. Color was subtle and always felt comfortable doing laundry with them. Lasted forever. Only need to get new ones when I moved into a smaller place in the city and needed some more space for other storage reasons. Well worth the investment.

My Kenmore washer & dryers outlast any other brands known. Always get a complete satisfied wash. Also clothes do not have to be ironed with the Kenmore dryers. I gave my son a washer from my parents that were bought in the 60s. Its still working like a charm. Kenmore products are very durable. I hope Kenmore never goes out of business. I truly rely on this brand for years. I have the gas top loader. Very easy for me to do wash. No bending with having arthritis. Clothes come out clean & stay new looking for years. It is worth every dollar I spend on my Kenmore washer & dryers. The lasting outweighs the reasonable prices. I will never buy any other brand. Im very set on my Kenmore products.

This model was the best one Sears had under the Kenmore label. It has a matching dryer which I also purchased. It is one of the newer low water washers which took some getting used to. Over time I have learned a lot in regard to what and what not to do in order to operate this machine as a high efficiency washer. When I mastered a few of the "mystery tricks" then this seemingly "monster washer" became my friendly servant. I learned by the various "wish-wash" sounds when the wash cycle needed a bit more water, and by redistributing the clothes up around the sides of the rim, more water would be added by the machine. Also, though it is a super heavy-duty washer, I've learned not to load it too full or it will keep going back to the rinse cycle (over and over) and never go forward to spin.

I love kenmore! I have had other brands of washing machine and dryer before and washing would take forever or I would have to leave my clothes drying for 160 minutes!! Now only 60 minutes its all I need for my clothes to be completely dryer. I would definitely recommend kenmore to anyone who asks.

The dryer has adequately provided for the course of 6 years to date. It has proper drying levels which allow for delicates and towels and has served its purpose for a growing family. The dryer is particularly reliable. It has handled a family of seven as well as many other guests over the course of the years and has handled all imaginable load sizes. The appearance is nothing special and we dont expect much from clothes dryers really. We simply expect versatility, quick drying and the ease of load and remove especially when having children doing the bulk of the laundry. The value speaks for itself. Any dryer that can withstand the usage of a growing family of seven over the course of a couple decades is well worth its weight in gold.

We purchased a Kenmore Fridge #79576209901 and have had nothing but problems. The freezer is constantly icing up causing loud fan noise which requires being defrosted with a hair dryer. Now the fridge compartment is not cooling because the fan is not staying on long enough to cool. I have replaced the defrosting element and Defrost Thermostat and now trying to replace the Electronic Control Board. The fan does come on but only stays on for a few seconds. I have read nothing but bad reviews from people with the same issues about this Kenmore product and will never buy another Kenmore appliance.

The Kenmore deluxe dryer with heat sensor technology deserves nothing less than poor performance rating from this purchaser. I have had Sears service technician here several times trying to satisfy my complaint that it dries clothes poorly. After several computer assisted adjustments it still does not dry socks and heavy bulky items after being in the dryer 60 plus minutes.Terrible dryer, many different settings have been tried with no success. The auto dry feature does not work as advertised. The technician said its the dryer sheets. Bunk, I hardly use any. Warning try and get any assistance from Sears in Chicago, forget it. Junk, dont buy appliances from Sears. I have been a loyal Sears customer 30 plus years and their stuff is so bad. Im glad they are failing and going under as I had to get rid of their washer. It was so undependable. Buy from dependable manufacturers and remember Sears is not what we remember them for.

They are well made, and work well for a long time. I like the brand, and I am proud to have it in my home. Not only do they work well, they look great too. I like people seeing my washer and dryer. I love that I havent had any problems with it.

August 2016 I went shopping at Sears. I specifically asked to stay away from LG. I know they had many problems and steered clear. The sale associate failed to tell me Kenmores were now made with LG parts. I had my fridge less then 2 years and the compressor and system has failed. It took me 10 days to get a repair guy to come out and 10 more days to schedule for the repair. I can get it under warranty however, I am told I have to pay labor. They obviously are charging me an arm and a leg for labor. I have a Kenmore 13 year old fridge and an old washer and dryer that have lasted. I wanted to stick with what I knew. However, now that they have LG parts you pay the extra money for a small name stuck on the outside of the fridge. I would NEVER buy a Kenmore again, and would recommend others do the same. You are getting an LG fridge. If you want LG they are cheaper with the same parts.

It was stainless steel looking and I loved the ice maker on the freezer door. The freezer door had many shelves and was spacious. The ability to move the shelves in the refrigerator part was most appealing because I buy different sized containers. Also the dimensions fit perfectly in my kitchen. I have owned Kenmore previously and the company has never let me down. Ive bought different refrigerators on the cheaper side and I can honestly say Id rather pay more for a Kenmore. I have a Kenmore washer and dryer too, with stainless steel look to it too. So I wanted everything to be made from the same manufacturer.

I bought other brands before and they did not work very well after few years. My Kenmore is about 5 years old now and they still work as good as new. I am very happy with my Kenmore washer and dryer.

It dries clothes pretty fast which is nice. It is fairly quiet compared to most other dryers like Maytag and Whirlpool. It gets the job done. It is a fairly reliable dryer, and have had no issues so far. The lint trap does its job very well which makes the drying process happen quicker. Im not too worried about how it appears because it just sits in the garage. If it were inside the house then it would appear okay with the other things I own. I got it on sale which was nice. It makes a big difference when there are good promotions for things like this. I dont think I would have purchased it if it wasnt on sale.

The dryer worked very well and there was a discernible difference in the way the dryer worked according to the settings it was on. It also ran very quietly. Set it and forget it was my motto for this dryer. I didnt have to worry about whether or not the clothes would be dry as the dryer would retain the appropriate level of heat throughout the entire cycle. Simple, sleek and stylish. No unnecessary buttons or settings; the knobs were labeled appropriately and the overall style of the dryer would fit in with any decor. I am unsure of the original price of the dryer, but it worked fantastically and that alone is worth quite a bit in my opinion. The dryer didnt have all the bells and whistles a top line model would have, but it had what it needed.

I had a 16 year old Kenmore that I was very happy with until it spun its last load. Bought the Kenmore 700 series, Triple Action Technology, 5.3 cu ft. washer with matching dryer. The first load was of my work dress pants (black), they came out with soap residue all over them. I called for a tech to come out to look at it, they sent the delivery guys to re-balance the machine. I tried using the he laundry liquid soap to see if that helped. NOPE. Did not make a difference at all. Tried using the deep fill, still no help. I am within my window of 30 days, so I guess I will have to return it. Very disappointed about that.

The Kenmore washer and dryer were excellent appliances. At the time that I owned them our family was comprised of seven people so the machines were given quite a workout. Soccer and baseball uniforms needed to be cleaned along with towels and work clothes, all with different cleaning requirements. My Kenmore washer and dryer were up to the tasks. I was always satisfied with the quality of cleaning the machines did.

This dryer is a Great value! I would buy this again or recommend this product to friends or family members. It is very reliable.
