Purchased dryer in 2013, just got it paid off and dryer started shutting off after a few minutes and getting error code CE. We have had the venting system cleaned by professional and new vent hose checked and there was no lint blockage. Repairman said it was motor. He put one that didnt work. He came back and put on new heating element... then didnt work. I have been without a dryer for 3 weeks. It will work if I unhook machine from dryer vent. What is the problem. I have seen many other complaints about Sears unable to fix this machine?

It always dries really nicely and never gives me damp clothes. The controls are easy to use and the size is ideal for our home. I really like it! I have never had a problem fitting a load of laundry into my dryer, even a particularly large load or one full of bulkier items such as pants. The dryer is a nice size, compact and ideal for the space in which we keep it. It is simple but not especially plain-looking, thanks to its smooth design. I think anyone who has a small family and is just starting out will get the most value out of this dryer. It is perfect for a first home or apartment that is small and for a household that has maybe three to four members.

I have always bought Kenmore. They are very reliable. Love mine very much. I had one for over thirty years or more ran perfect. I had two very messy girls that loved to play house outside. They made mud pies. Needless to say they became very dirty. My washer and dryer ran all the time. Very reliable machine. I ran mine everyday. My kids and husband changed their clothes two to three times a day. My ex did concrete, work my kids were just messy. I would never buy any other brand. I just cannot say enough how reliable this is both washer and dryers are. Mine are white with blue around the knobs. They are an awesome pair of machinery. They run day after day with no issues at all. I would never consider any other brand. They are affordable and in this day of bloated prices on crappy machine. Price wise they are perfect. They are awesome. We need a decent price on things we use daily along with they run so well they give you years of use.

Both washing machine and dryer are very efficient and had lasted for a long time. We feel that they clean better and the electricity efficiency is one of the best in the market. In fact, when we had them replaced, we replaced them with the same brand.

Purchase a kenmore washer and dryer in september 2012 from sears. Today august 17 noticed rust forming around the perimeter of the bleach dispenser. First amazed that this should happen to a kenmore. Then after reading similar messages on the web, disappointed that Kenmore has not done anything to correct the problem. And by disavowing any responsibility for the issue under warranty, by doing this I have the impression that they knew of this issue some time ago. I will try and correct the problem but like many others have found.... rust never really goes away. May be the last time I buy a Kenmore and products from whatever manufacturer actually makes the machine. There was a time, if in nothing else, you could trust a Kenmore.

My washer is 19 years old. I had one repair to the barrel for 180.00 which is not anything to complain about in all that time. I only paid 250.00 for it when I bought it. I had problems with the dryer from the moment it got it. I had to have it repaired 280.00 but since then I had worked perfectly. I only paid 225.00 and I got it with the washer.

Kenmore Elite 74043: I purchased this in 2015, on April 6 I realized neither the fridge nor the freezer were cooling. I had purchased the extended warranty. A Sears repair technician came out April 12 and ordered 4 parts. A dryer assembly, 2 evaporator coils, and a compressor. Today is May 3 and 3 of the parts have finally arrived but one of the coils was very poorly packed and I believe it may be damaged. If you call the 1-800 number you get someone overseas and they cant tell you anything about where your parts are. I was first given repair date of April 18, then 24th, then 26th, then May 4. When the Parts Dept. calls Im not planning to reschedule the repair, Im planning to purchase another fridge and we will discuss how Sears is going to reimburse me for my new fridge. No wonder they are in trouble!

I always used a liquid detergent. I never used powders. I always kept the dryer vents cleaned out to prevent fires and to help the dryer be more efficient. Both my washer and dryer lasted more than 15 years. I think the secret is to use liquid detergents and to keep the dryer vent clean especially to the outside. Neither of my appliances had to have any service other than what I just described. Even though I purchased the cheaper or plain models I found that they were easy to keep clean and that their finish held up very well over the fifteen plus years I used them. For the monies I invested and the usage I received for my fifteen years of usage I think I came out very well and not having to spend monies for service or repairs especially speaks to the quality of both machines.

Kenmore is and always has been a steady, reliable performer. It is American made and thats enough for me. I have used Kenmore products for over 50 years. Kenmore as solid as Sears is an accurate truism. The washing machine that I have is a great performer. If it was an employee, I would give it raises and top performance reviews year in and year out! Yes there are newer technology washers and dryers out there with all the bells and whistles and lights. Yet, they are very expensive and are usually not made in America. I will always opt for the steady consistent performer every time.

Our Kenmore washer and dryer are quiet and reliable. We have been so satisfied with all of our Kenmore products that we have owned. They carry a great and dependable warranty and offer quick friendly service if needed. The service reps that delivered our appliances were friendly and appeared to be very knowledgeable on their products. They took their time to explain the operation of their product and answer any questions we had. Sears will be the first place we look for any household product we may need.

When it worked, it was a fair washer. However, it seemed to be broke more than it worked. For that reason I made the choice to go with a different style as well as a different brand. I am happy with my choice. The same goes with the dryer. It would take hours upon hours to dry my clothes when it should have only taken one cycle, roughly an hour, it would take multiple cycles.

Had them for 18 to 20 years and only 1 minor problem between both washer and dryer. I do 4 to 5 loads a week. The washer has no surface rust even though it is located in a somewhat, sometimes damp basement.

I like the way it gets my clothes clean. It is very efficient and does not use a whole lot of water when washing. If I had to make another purchase for a washer or dryer I know that I would choose the same one as I have. I have had my current washer and dryer for about two months and so far I must say that I am very happy. I would recommend this product to my friends and family and the cost is still reasonable. The whole set that I have is white. The washer is loaded from the top and so is the dryer. I love the way that the combination works out with the color of my home. I did a little shopping around and a few different stores before I made a final decision on the set that I have now. I found it for various prices in each store but I ended up paying about six hundred for the whole set.

The washer and dryer are a matching set green in color. Theyre working perfectly and they do as they are expected to do. Also, the wash loads are perfect for my amount of laundry and it doesnt take too long to wash or dry. I havent had to have any service to them at all and havent had any problems. I wash and dry 3 or more loads a week for over 6 1/2 years since I purchased them used and for $150 it was a very well investment.

Works and clean my and my family clothes. We bought it few years back and thankfully its still working pretty well. And it is also an energy saver. Quick to dry. My washer and dryer is pretty reliable. It seems to dry my and my family clothes in time of need. The washer and dryer appearance is like any other washer and dryer. It washes and dries clothes. I am satisfied with it appearance that is why I bought it. The perceived value of the is kind of pricey... as for anything else it can be little less but its not. And company knows if an household needs it they will buy it.

When first bought worked very well for a few years then gradually started taking longer to dry loads of laundry. Worth the money though. Ive only had to replace a few parts through the years but the dryer is still running well. Dryer belt seems to wear quicker than all other parts. The color of the washer makes it look sleek and also blends very well with my apartment walls. Although lint does accumulate on the top and is very visible due to the light color of the dryer. For what I paid for the dryer I have received my money back and then some in savings from not having to go to the laundromat and various places to get quarters.

I grew up in a Kenmore household. The parents swore by the brand. In the few times we needed to replace an appliance, Sears was there with a new Kenmore unit. My parents house is still occupied by a number of older Kenmore appliances, some have to be pushing 25 years. So when the builder grade appliances started dying in my house after 13+ years, I naturally choose Kenmore as a replacement and dropped over $1,600 for a new washer and dryer. Sears showed up on time, installed the washer and dryer, neat and clean and were gone. All they left was the boxes the washer and dryer came in and the neighborhood kids loved playing in them just as I did when I was young. That was four (4) years ago. Sears no longer stands behind you (or for that matter beside you) after your one year warranty expires.We developed gunk in our washing machine despite the monthly cleanouts (BTW anyone ever remember having to clean a washing machine except if a crayon went through it?). It just showed up in a load one day and will not go away. I started looking to find the cause and came across rust around the bleach dispenser. Apparently the quality today is not as it once was. My parents have an older Kenmore that presents no rust at all. I do not know how old it is, but I can tell you it came in avocado green (late 70s maybe?). I hope the pictures I attached show the gunk (picture taken after 5 cleaning cycles), rust in the area of the dispenser (with dispenser removed), some debris that ended up in the lint filter of the dryer, and black specks that seem to have become stuck on the dryer.If you look closely at the specks you can see bare metal, this is what happened to the finish as I tried to remove the black specs with my fingernail - THE FINISH CAME OFF! Mind you, these units are only 4 years old even though they have enormous capacity, they only service two adults and one child. So I called Sears Home Services to see what would be involved with replacing the washer top panel. I gave them the model and serial number per their request and was informed that the only way Sears Home Services could determine how much it would be to replace the part would be for me to spend $79 for them to come out and take a look. I informed them that outside the rusted part, the unit seemed to be operating fine, dirty, but fine. Again I was informed of the $79 fee and Sears started to make an appointment. I hesitated and asked if the part I needed replaced was available, I was told that they had no way of determining if the part was available unless the service tech came out for a fee of $79 - only the techs can order parts.So I asked, just to confirm, The only way I can find out even if the part is available is to pay the $79 and have someone come out and look at it. I was told, Yes and that if I proceeded with the repair the estimate fee would be returned to me (Ill get to more on that in a little bit). I then asked if the part was not available, and I could not proceed with the repair, would I still be responsible for the $79. Again, I was told, Yes and that if I proceeded with the repair the $79 would be refunded. When I asked how they would proceed with the repair if the parts were not available I was told that would be up to the tech to determine. THAT MY FRIENDS IS SOME FINE QUALITY CUSTOMER SERVICE RIGHT THERE! Unbelievable. So I said, No thanks, and hung up the phone.I proceeded to search the net for the part and I found it at Sears Parts Direct and it showed available and that it took an average of 1hr and 45min to install. After hitting the chat button and providing my model and serial number again, I soon found that I could have the part delivered to my house in a couple days for a little over $100 and it was guaranteed to fit. I was stunned. Not 10 minutes prior to this I was told by Sears Home Services that there was no way to know if the part was available and only techs could order it. Hmmmm...Armed with new knowledge, I called back Sears Home Services and asked what the rate ($/hr) or cost would be make the repair based on the information provided by Sears Parts Direct. They again stated that the only way they could determine how much it would cost would be to pay the $79 and have someone provide an estimate and that the $79 would be deducted if I proceeded with the repairs. I again informed them that I knew the part was available, I knew how much it cost, I knew how long it took to put in (according to Sears Parts Direct). Again, Sears Home Services informed me The only way we can tell you how much it costs is to pay the $79 and have someone come out, keep in mind that the $79 fee is removed if you proceed with the repair.Then it dawned on me, how would I ever know if it was removed or not? By paying the $79 and authorizing Sear Home Services to come out. I just signed up for some unknown cost, but I knew I would be out at least $79. I know the part cost and how long it takes to put in. But is that labor rate $50/hr? $100/hr? $350/hr? At some point the $79 is irrelevant and the process is preposterous.Let me apply the same process to something a little more familiar. You want to get something to eat. You go into a restaurant that advertises cheeseburgers (among other things), you ask how much a cheeseburger is and are told that the only way to find out how much a cheeseburger costs is to pay $20 and then a waiter will come over and tell you how much the cheeseburger is. If you buy the cheeseburger they will deduct the $20 waiter fee from the final bill. If you are there to offer them a chance to redeem themselves for a subpar meal you had there some time ago and you only went there because a few of your friends still say it is the great restaurant from many years past, that begs the question, would you drop the $20 to see how much a cheeseburger is?In checking with Sears Parts Direct, apparently Sears does not sell a service manual so that people can service their own appliances. It really is not that hard to do if you know how, the question is the know how. I guess by not providing this information Sears Home Services can keep the $79 racket going. Sears Parts Direct did suggest I try the Ask an Expert section of their website. I did and was unable to post a question/request there. I kept getting messages to try again later or that my search criteria was not found. So far I would say this is not Sears Parts Directs problem but rather an issue from some other Sears subsidiary that handles IT and is suppose to keep these sites going.I did email in my request for either a how to or a service manual. They again asked for the model and serial number, I responded and am awaiting a response. I will see what they come up with. I hope they can do better. I will update with their response. From my go around, so far Sears / Kenmore is not even close to what they used to be. A life expectancy of only 4 years for a $1,600 washer and dryer. Really? Sears has passed on providing quality service and quality products in the name of... oh jeez. I am not sure what they are getting in return besides a bad reputation. I was going to say higher profits, but reading the news - that is not the case. Corporate survival? That is questionable, again reading the news. If Sears is going to sell junk and not stand behind their own brand, there is simply no reason to continue to do business there.Relationships are salvageable, but it takes efforts on both sides. I am willing to my part, hey Sears - you game? I can only hope that Sears spins off Craftsman and Kenmore early enough that those two entities can stage a turn around and not suffer the image blow that Diehard has recently suffered. Buyer beware. Nothing is Elite about Kenmore Elite or Sears Home Services.

It does a great job cleaning my clothes. The cycle takes too long, I dont like the stop button (it is easy to break) and its difficult to stop the washer and add an item because the lid locks. Very reliable. I have owned the washer for over four years without any problems. I use the washer several times a week, at different settings. The washer appearance is fine. I was looking for something simple to use and small enough to fit in my laundry closet. There is nothing fancy about this washer but I wasnt looking for anything complicated. I was not planning to buy a washer but my old washer/dryer combination broke down so I was forced to buy new machines. This washer fit well within my budget without sacrificing the features I was looking for.

The washer with the tide does a terrific job of washing me clothes. The whites are whiter, the brights are brighter. Its absolutely incredible. I would have to say the reliability of this machine is like no other. For the amount of time Ive owned this machine I have never had a problem. This machine serves me well. When I first saw this machine it was like love at first sight. It has this cool futuristic design about it and boy o boy do I get compliments on this bad boy. Actually, I believe I got terrific value on this. I bought the pair, washer and dryer at a P.C. Richards warehouse scratch and dent/floor models. This pair were a floor model. Not a scratch on them. They already had a sweet price tag on them and I managed to talk the salesman down another 20%. YeeeHaaawww and Merry Christmas to me.

Both washer and dryer are solid, give great performance. Annual maintenance is all it takes. Clothes come out nice and clean. Just a little of baking soda and vinegar to clean the washing machine so that keeps smell very clean and fresh. Very pleased with unit. The dryer also requires little care other than cleaning lint from the screen. Once a year maintenance for pipe cleaning is all you need.

I tried Whirlpool at one time and the spin cycle in washer was out of place and shook all over the place so I wasnt fond of Whirlpool so I chose Kenmore. The dryer is pretty fast and keeps clothes pretty warm when drying compared to some dryers where they would have clothes that would feel cold or still not dry as you took them out of the dryer. But sometimes I would have to start it up two or three times for it to be completely dry after awhile of use. It was good to start out with but as years went on it was time to replace the dryer because of this issue.

I cant get my clothes clean using the washer. Lint is left in large splotches on dark clothes or in a light layer all over everything. Customer service is non-existent. Everyone says the same thing, the machine is designed to operate like this and the techs have no background to adjust the electronics (could be water level sensor, could be software - the mechanic they send cant do any of it). I think its actually dangerous to have this amount of lint in my house. It stays on my towels, linens, and dont talk about the mattress pad!

Energy saving selection is a plus for me. Dries clothes the first time placing into the dryer. Runs quietly, a breeze to clean out the lint trap. Very reliable, doesnt take long to dry a full load. Even the children can operate it and I know that it will get the job done. Ive owned it for several years with no problems. Matching set has a clean look - easy to keep clean. Very reliable, priced right and looks good. What more can you ask for? No complicated settings. Very nice dryer. I was looking for an economically priced appliance and I found it. Good price, good look, good performance. If I ever need to replace it it will be with the same model and brand.

The Kenmore Dryer gives you great options like permanent press - normal less dry, normal dry, more dry, it gives you auto dry - less dry. Also knit, delicate, timed dry, touch up air dry. It also has lint filter and a very loud buzzer so I know when my clothes are dry. I like all these features because its the best dryer Ive ever had. But it would be nice if had a front loader, so it doesnt hurt your back when youre bending down to load it. Also it would be nice if it had a fabric softener holder, so the fabrics wouldnt stick to your clothes and end up all over the house. I bought this because Kenmore has always been the most reliable and best brand that has came out to the stores for my family. Other brands that me and my family have purchased in the past the heating elements have burnt out, or the drums stop spinning which leads to extra cost for replacement parts, or resulting in buying a whole new dryer, and when I cant find parts, or someone to fix it.

Washer continues to stop because its unbalanced. Takes all day to wash one load and end up having to hang in my shower to dry enough to put in dryer. Service says nothing wrong but I can pay for repair to come out and look at it. They know this is a problem with these machines. Plenty of complaint.

Machine has done a good job. Have had it now for 10 years. Reliable, dependable. Hope it continues to do a good job for much longer. I would recommend it to others. Machine is extremely reliable. I have had absolutely no problems with it. Since I am the only person in my household, it doesnt get extremely heavy use, but I have had absolutely no problems with it. Appearance is fine. Fits in well in the laundry room. Clean cut looking. Goes well with dryer. Modern appearance. Not flashy, but neat looking. I wish everything I owned was as good of a value as my washing machine. I have had it for 10 years now, and if you were to prorate what I paid for it over that 10 years, it has been a really good purchase.

It gives the clothes that fresh clean like they are new again. I love it. Gives the impression that Im not wasting money at a laundromat. They have a very long life. If anything happens it’s a quick easy fix and working like new again. You cant get a product thats made with such great pride anymore. The washer has a huge washing area and is quiet from start until finish. You dont even know its done with. As silent as it is the dryer works wonders. The set isnt nearly as much as lesser sets that you would have lots of issues with. Just get this set and leave it to your grandkids. It will last that long.

We have had both our washer and dryer for over 10 years. They are worry-free appliances with consistent high performance. I would definitely recommend Kenmore products. Very reliable. Able to wash and dry a large volume of clothes at one time. Attractive looking and hard working. The appliance size fits in nicely in our laundry area. They are also very easy to use and pretty quiet to use. Both the washer and dryer were very affordable and I would not hesitate to purchase a Kenmore product in the future. We have had no service issues ever aside from ordering replacement pieces. The appliances are over 10 years old and are used constantly!

Very durable. Last long time. Big loads for well. Easy access to the inside. And the dryer also dries fast and easy to clean the inside. Dryer button are easy to read. I can leave my washer or my dryer on when I step out of the house for something fast and when I return itll already be done. I always wash all the bed sheets, towels, and heavy duty stuff and its been working the same for years. Appearance is very simple and easy to read. My niece, who is a child, can put clothes too was because she is able to read that buttons. Back when we purchased the washer and dryer it was on of the cheapest one we could find that had what is the basics that we needed. And still until this day we havent had to buy a newer one.

Have my Kenmore washer & dryer for 11 years now. The dryer is on Custom Cycle. I use always Normal Cycle, Med. Low Temp, More Dry and Wrinkle Rid. After the cycle is done I do the Touch-up for 15 min. and then my loads are dry. The front loader washer is another story. After the warranty expired a problem with the settings started so I was not able to use the Custom Cycles here anymore. Every time the wash cycle would stop before the rinse cycle, so I had to touch a shorter cycle with cold water and start all over again. What I do now is touch all the buttons one by one 3 times till I am back on the cycle combination I want and now it works fine for about 90%. Annoying but you learn to live with it.

Weve had our Kenmore electric washer (top-loader) and dryer for approx. 15 years and have had excellent results with both, having had to have the dryer repaired once and the washer twice; none of the service calls were expensive or life-threatening for the appliances. We use them about 5 times a week and are so satisfied we recently purchased new ones to go in a new laundry room. This time to save money we got a front-loading washer and gas dryer. The old pair, still working perfectly, we gifted to a grandchild.

The Kenmore brand has been a good brand for me. Ive had my washer and dryer for over 10 years and have only had to make a service call one time under warranty. Since the warranty has been up, I have not had to make any service calls. The only thing that has bothered me is the odor which smells like mildew coming from the washer after the lid has been closed for a while. I solved this odor problem by sprinkling baking soda over the bottom of the washer tub. The clothing that gets washed in the machine does not smell like mildew. My parents had Kenmore appliances for years. They owned their own home so it was possible for them to buy appliances as they were needed. As a renter, I have to abide by landlord rules and get permission for the purchase of some appliances. It wasnt until I moved here early in the 2000s that I even had a washer and dryer hookup in a rental unit. Since my parents had good luck with Kenmore appliances, I decided that my washer and dryer would be Kenmore.

Very efficient drying clothes no matter how much clothes are inside. Lint was easy to remove after drying clothes also. It also had plenty of space for clothes. Very durable, never had heating element go out or any other issues. I had a warranty on the dryer but never had to use it. I think it was very good at drying clothes. Dryer was white in color and front loading for adding clothes to it. It has a see through door which you can watch your clothes dry. It has also a metal frame For the price of the dryer I feel it has had great value and last a very long time. I feel its a great dryer with nice features for anyone to use.

Kenmore is the only washer & dryer that I now buy. I tried others but nothing beats a Kenmore for quality & dependability. I have a white top loading washer - easy to load & easy to unload. The tub on the washer is for large loads and it is deep - kind of a stretch for short people (you might have to stand on your tiptoes) but well worth the quality. Its very dependable and gets my clothes clean & wrinkle free. With the white side loading Kenmore gas dryer, I never have to re-dry clothes because they are damp after the drying cycle runs - unless you try to dry 10 towels at once. When I did have a small problem with the dryers heating element, the service tech showed up the next day and there was no charge. My previous Kenmore washer lasted well over 10 years - we ended up giving it away so we could have a larger capacity tub and I had to have the matching dryer.

I purchased a Kenmore Washer & Dryer set used from a neighbor that was moving away, and I was very satisfied with it. It worked well and lasted a long time. I still have the dryer and would still have the washer, but my son took it upon himself to purchase me a brand new washer of a different brand.

Performance of this particular washer is great. It cleans my laundry very well. I especially love how well it clean and remove stains from my young childs clothes since he is a very rough and tumble play outside in the dirt, fishing and camping etc. Gets all those fun-filled stains out, nearly always, on the first wash. I find this washer to be very reliable. I have had it now for some time and have not had any trouble with it as far as mechanical or broken parts. Holds up well even with doing laundry daily. I also have a matching dryer, maybe not exactly matching, but the two together are very visually appealing. Most laundry rooms arent clean, organized or aesthetically pleasing and I am proud to leave the door open to that room because it is the opposite of all of which I just described. The clean sharp look of the washer and dryer for sure make this area of my house more modern and wonderful. These two items I purchased and own are more expensive than a majority of your standard washer and dryers out there. I feel, however, they were worth the extra money spent. I would spend that again due to my satisfaction with these appliances.

The washer and dryer cleans and dries clothes very well. I have had it for 7 years and have had no problems with it. It can handle small to extra large size loads of clothes. Its very reliable and cleans and dries every time. It cleans every type of dirt and stains on clothes. The Kenmore washer and dryer is white in color. It is not too big or not too small. It is just the right size to wash and dry your clothes. The Kenmore white washer and dryer is very affordable. Its value is very good for the price of it. It gets the job done each and every time. It doesnt fail.

Every single time I do a load of laundry with the Kenmore Elite washer, it turns into a large twisted ball of knots. Its destroying my clothes. The sleeves knot and twist and draw stings make it worse; also, bras and socks and lingerie bags all twist and pull. I set the spin to low every time. It makes absolutely no difference. And because everything is one big knot on one side of the basin, it of course goes off balance and smashes around. The matching Elite dryer is no match for what its partner does - it cant get these wrinkles out no matter what the setting. Also, if I use the bleach cup, it bleaches for loads afterward. Its not safe to do a dark or colored load after a white load. It was purchased in July 2010. These machines were brand new (I was told), top load and HE. I hate it. Its been ruining my familys clothes since the first load. Also, I must use the extra rinse button, which is not very energy saving, or the clothes smell and dont get clean.

I have grown up with Kenmore products. They are a work horse, durable, reasonably price and lasts a long time. I have had each product over 10 years. I dont even know the color or size specifications of each. If there ever was a problem it would be to call the blue crew. I have tried the rest. Now I will stick with the best. Kenmore or nothing. I was raised with these products. I dont believe in stackable washer & dryers. They are not durable and cannot hold enough. I had a bad experience with them. I am not picky of color, size, or price, it just has to be a Kenmore brand.

I would recommend this washer and dryer to anyone who is looking to buy one. It always works and it can hold a heavy load! Mine is a little old but it still works as if it were yesterday that I found it in the house that I bought. You can put anything in this washer and dryer and it will not harm it in any way. It is an old pair but it works efficiently every single time. The overall appearance is excellent especially considering it is old. It does not matter what the washer or dryer looks like as far as I am concerned. The important thing is that it works. It is really hard for me to say the value of these two. One I bought a long time ago and the other came with the house but I would estimate about $400 for each one. They work very well.

My old washing machine broke. I had it for 15 years, never had to fix it. I kept looking at these beautiful washers in the store that would wash the whole bed spread. No more going to the laundromat to wash my bed spread I thought. So I bought the Kenmore elite wondering how it would clean my clothes with no agitator in it. I was told it was new technology. I dont know why I assume the makers knew what they were doing. I hate my washer for so many reasons. It doesnt clean my clothes very good, even a small load. When I put a large load in it, it knots the clothes up so bad I cant hardly get them apart. They are so wrinkled theyre almost permanently wrinkled. When I wash a bedspread it gets off balance and stops, so I have to pull the heavy thing out and restart many times until it finally finishes. That might not be so bad if it actually got clean. My dark cloths keep having a white residue on them and I can only guess that the light cloths do too. My whites are getting more and more dingy and whatever goes in with a spot comes out with a spot. Now Im looking for an older set like I had before on Craigslist and I dont know what to do with my 2000 dollar waste of money set because how can I sell it in good conscience knowing what a bad washer it is. The dryer I have had no problems with.

I have had my Kenmore washer for three years now and it has been excellent every day that Ive owned it. My Kenmore washer takes care of anything I need washed. It even holds blankets. I love the clean, white appearance of the washer. Its very neat and fits just right with what I need on a day-to-day basis. Also, the value was amazing and the low price that I got this washer and dryer for is incredible. This washer and dryer have been the best Ive ever owned and I have never had to get it serviced. My washer is deeper and more clothes are able to fit in my washer. My dryer is also deeper inside and do double the load. Dryer worked great for a little over 2 yrs. Right after the warranty was up the heat quit working. We thought it was the heating element. But it turned out to be the computer board. I bought a new dryer for what it would have cost to put a new computer board in it. I really liked the appearance of this dryer. Thats why I bought this style of dryer. But never again. I went back to the old style. Just because they come up with a newer style dryer dont mean its better than the old style. The value of this style dryer was not good at all. The very first dryer I bought which was an old style dryer lasted over 20 yrs. But the new style dryer didnt last 30 months.

I have had them for 18 years and they are still working great. I have the Kenmore 70 series dryer and the Kenmore 80 series washer. I do several loads of laundry each week. I even soak football and baseball uniforms overnight and wash the next day. I have never had a leak. I have had the dryer serviced once and the washer once. I like that my washer is top load and it has a separate compartment for bleach, fabric softener and detergent. The dryer is easy to keep the lint trap cleaned out. I hope they never stop working because they do not make them last like mine.

I got my Kenmore 18 years ago and it is still going. Both washer and dryer. Had to call someone out twice because a sock got lodged somewhere weird in the washer and the dryer wasnt heating so I took apart the back and went at it with a vacuum - good as new. I really hope that Kenmore brands today are as good as the ones I bought almost 2 decades ago as I know Im on borrowed time. We have not been gentle with the washer and dryer either. I mean not changing the lint filter for weeks (fire hazard) and jam packing the washer so it goes off balance. This thing is damn near indestructible.

Ive had my Kenmore washer and dryer for 2 years. Its the very first washer and dryer Ive ever had. Ive never had a problem with them. I wash 3 to 4 loads of clothes weekly. They have a nice capacity for my family and I clothing to be washed. They wash clothing fast and get them nice and clean.

I have paid for the 700 series washer and dryer set. In a four-month time frame, had the Sears warranty people come look at the washer twice because the clothes literally are not coming clean. It is supposed to be a high efficiency washer yet I am having to rinse my dark clothes in hot water, on a deep fill, and rinsing FOUR times. I am no longer saving any money having a high efficiency washer and even after FOUR rinses my clothes are dirty. The Sears warranty guy says that it is the actual washer, the clothes do not come clean and I should have got a front-loader which nobody told me. I am loading the clothes correctly, I am using the correct soap, I am separating my clothes, and I just get dirty clothes out.

I had a 16 year old Kenmore that I was very happy with until it spun its last load. Bought the Kenmore 700 series, Triple Action Technology, 5.3 cu ft. washer with matching dryer. The first load was of my work dress pants (black), they came out with soap residue all over them. I called for a tech to come out to look at it, they sent the delivery guys to re-balance the machine. I tried using the he laundry liquid soap to see if that helped. NOPE. Did not make a difference at all. Tried using the deep fill, still no help. I am within my window of 30 days, so I guess I will have to return it. Very disappointed about that.

Ive always had Kenmore washer and dryers. With little or no problems. I purchased the large capacity 700 series so I could wash bedding and large loads of jeans. With no agitator in the drum clothes and bedding does not rotate. When you load the clothes or bedding whatever is on top stays there and just floats around. Meanwhile what is on the bottom gets knotted up. What cloths are on top does not get clean. It seems the washer never adds enough water even if you select deep fill. The only loads it seems to work on are loads of white. IE white sock, underwear where the articles of clothing are small enough to get swished around. IMO this washer is the biggest p.o.s. The engineers that invented this washing system better go back to the drawing board.

Honestly cleaned my clothes very well. Wasnt wet when spin cycle was done. Practically dried before putting them into the dryer. With dryer by the way you dont need to leave in the whole time. Will be hot coming out.

We purchased this in April 2016. We used it about 5 times before troubles began. The machine would stop mid cycle, would not drain. Unless I stood there and watched it, there was no telling when it had stopped. A Sears repairman came out to fix it. He did a reset on it, suggested I unplug it after every wash in case a power outage happened, and told me he would definitely be back for future repairs. Now it is January 2017. We use the machine for maybe three washes a week, since its a second home. The washer stops mid cycle. Doesnt drain. The sensor clicks on and off. Its super fun. I start it, optimistically, on a normal cycle. I hear it stop working, find it full of water. I do a drain/spin. Seems logical - its full of water! It doesnt usually work. I unplug/restart again, do a rinse/spin. Works! But my clothes havent been washed. Unplug/restart express wash a few times. Tonight I actually handwashes my kids clothes. Thank god the dryer works every time. I dont think we will even waste the $75 on the repairman. Never again, Kenmore. Hard to believe this machine hasnt been recalled.

No problems at all in 15 years including heating element which is the most common failure. Clothes are dried exceptionally well and lint free for the most part. We have used extensively. Would buy again. I would highly recommend and would replace in kind when needed. Great value considering competition and features actually used. Too many others have features never used and therefore useless for the money. More than adequate for my needs. A good bang for the buck and very reliable. We use several times a week with all clothes.

My first purchase of a Kenmore Refrigerator was in 1998 when I purchased my new home. It lasted with no problems until December of 2012. I figured 14 years for 1,000 was worth it even though some say they last up to 20 years. Anyway, being satisfied, of course, I looked for another Kenmore to replace my old one and surprisingly found one for a little under a grand even though it was 14 years later. Well, I got too excited because as the old saying goes, you get what you pay for. The refrigerator looked nice and was up to par however, the material that it was made out of was very cheap and flimsy. I had a pitcher of tea on the side compartment and the handle was protruding just a little so when I closed it, it hit the shelf just barely, I swear, and the white part covering the glass shelf just broke off. And this happened within 3 months. I was so devastated that my practically new fridge was now damaged that I called about getting it replaced. I had to get a shelf replaced in my old one and it only cost $15 so I figured it would be no more than $25? Boy was I wrong. They wanted $150 to replace the shelf even though it certainly wasnt worth it. Then all of a sudden, without any impact, I started noticing cracks all over the refrigerator. One on the side door, one on the bottom drawer. Cracks were showing up in places that had no chance of being hit so I came to the conclusion that the material was just cheap junk and now my refrigerator is barely 3 years old and it has all of these cracks in it and frankly, its embarrassing. Im not going to buy a new one just because of cosmetics so I guess Im stuck with this inferior crap until I need a new one due to malfunction. But Ill tell you one thing, I will DEFINITELY NOT get another Kenmore. I dont know what Kenmore was doing in 2012, but they certainly werent looking out for their customers. Price probably didnt go up like expected over 14 years because they cut back on the quality of their material, but they should know that in the long run, that will cost them and not make them profits because I will never buy another Kenmore again. And that includes my washer and dryer, microwave as well.

Since we purchased the Kenmore Elite washer and dryer, the dryer has not functioned properly. It has never dried clothing completely. A large quantity of clothing cannot be placed to dry either, as the clothes are left completely wet. A year later and it has not gotten better. Sears sales and customer service are worthless to call. We are very frustrated with the entire experience!

Drying one item doesnt work well in this dryer because the item keeps landing and getting caught on the filter vent by the door. Also the fins in the barrel do not go all the way to the ends of the barrel so it captures the clothing item and keeps it there in the corner, thus not getting dry and could maybe a fire hazard.

Kenmore is reliable, long lasting, and does what I need to get done with no problems. They are quite possibly the best washers and dryers I have ever owned. Quiet and efficient, well made and durable. I have owned my set of Kenmore washer and dryer for a good while now. They are very reliable and in my opinion well worth the price and are very well made. Kenmore is modern looking and high quality. They also can be bought in colors from what I understand to match the decor that you would want. Streamline design and a perfect fit in my home. The high quality is well worth the price which is reasonable of the Kenmore washer and dryer. The price for what you get a really great value from a top brand.

The washer has a problem with balance and a load often needs to be distributed manually during the cycle; the dryer is not very effective when multiple towels are included in the load. The performance is pretty consistent from load to load = the need for rebalancing of the wash happens routinely, and having wet towels at the end of a drying cycle recurs pretty often. The washer and dryer were not bought at the same time, so one is white and one is beige; other than that, they fit my laundry room well and are not too obtrusive. Considering I have had the washer and dryer for 10 and 8 years, respectively, they have been great values. But given the improved current technologies, if I were in the market today, they would not be considered good values based on their performance.

My washer is new. It is the one where you just push button on and the lid locks. You can not open the lid. You have a certain button you have to hold for 10 secs to get it opened. The dryer is where you can open it and it stops but you can start it back. The dryer is really old. I have not had any trouble with it. I do not wash as much as some families with kids. I would not have any other brand. I have had Kenmore with all my appliances. I trust all my appliances with Sears Kenmore. They last. The washer is a really big tub and it holds fabric softener. It has a place for Clorox to pour in it. The dryer is nice too. It has a loud buzzer to go off when it is done. You have settings for delicate clothes on dryer and washer.I would recommend these Kenmore products to anyone. I have been using them for 52 yrs. I have only had this is the second washer I have had and this is the second dryer, I am looking for the dryer to go out. I will buy another dryer Kenmore. These appliances are good and they do not cost that much. My washer was 349.00. The appliances are quiet, they are really a good looking product, you can get them in different colors. I think that the white is coming back. Mine is white. You can hardly hear the washer and dryer going at the same time how quiet they are. I am 5 ft.3 ins. and I have to bend real far to get to the bottom of the washer. You can set your clothes on what water temp you want. You can set it on how long you want it to wash, the same with the dryer.

The dryer works well, for the most part. We did have to have it serviced once and it only needed a new dryer belt. It continues to work fine but it does make a squeaky noise. It looks nice and the control panel isnt overwhelming with too many buttons and knobs to look at. I feel that this dryer was a good price and a good value. Dryer performance is excellent - I had to replace a timer within a year of purchase but once replaced no other issues. Dryer heats as expected and is perfect size. Dryer is very reliable. I have different cycles for heat so I dont have to worry about shrinking the items I put in there. Dries clothes fast on the hottest cycle. My dryer is a basic white dryer with a dial and push button. The dial has good details on each cycle. You can put your delicate in there or a pair of jeans. Dryer is very good value. Bought for less than $400.00 at the time of purchase and cant complain. It does exactly what I would expect it to do.

I needed something to clean my laundry, and at the time Kenmore is all I could afford because I have just moved to another State and I have never gotten another one since this has held up for about 6 years now, and they were used 5 years before we got the set. I hope they will hold up a lot longer. Just until I pay off some of my other bills, I will use this set as long as it holds up. The washer is a top loader, the dryer has the door on the front, and they both do the job I need them to do. I do about 8 loads a laundry every 2 weeks since there is only 2 of us in the household. They are good for the price we paid for them, and would get them from the same company again when we need to get another set. Hopefully I will not need them for a while.

This dryer is pretty awesome. I love how fast it dries my clothes and if they had wrinkles prior then they get all the wrinkles out too. I never had any issues with this dryer. I could put a load of jeans in for anywhere between 35-40 minutes and the jeans would be completely dry. I absolutely loved this dryers performance. This dryer worked wonderfully especially when drying sweaters and jeans, usually I would put a load of 10 pair of jeans and two sweaters and set it on 35-40 minutes and bam! the whole load was dry. I loved how fast this dryer dried clothes. A white dryer top load, with two knobs, one for time setting and one knob for dryer load setting. There is a timer that goes off making a buzzer sound when the dryer is finished. The lint catcher is easily accessed from the top of the dryer. The value of this dryer is well worth the price I paid. I bought this dyer at a used electronics store for 150.00$, whereas in stores brand new they are priced around 300$ to 400$. If I had to buy the dryer brand new I most likely would.

Old machine but is reliable and gets the job done well. Ive been using Kenmore appliances for a few years now and have never been disappointed with its performance. I know that every time I use it my clothes will come out clean with almost no lint left on them. It also isnt as loud as other machines out there. Standard look, not an eyesore in any way but not fancy either, it has the simple yet efficient look of dependability. It is all white and easy to clean or wipe down if detergent is spilled on it, good size so doesnt take up too much space in the garage. I bought this maybe 4-5 years ago and it still is working as good as the first year of owning it. The newer models look nice and have more features, but if this one gives me 5+ more years, Im satisfied with the model I currently have.

It is extremely efficient and holds up a lot better than most smart washers and dryers. I have never had a single bad issue with it and it takes a very short time to dry my clothing. Almost twice as fast as our old dryer. It is quite large and fits all of my clothing in it at one time. I love my dryer. I would say if I was ever in the market for another appliance I would look to this brand first. Its a front load dryer with a see through door and it has a steel drum. You can watch your clothing dry right in front of your eyes. It makes washing and drying your clothes easy. It wasnt the cheapest model that I could find, but that doesnt bother me because sometimes you have to pay a little extra to get a very good value. I dont regret this purchase. I got my moneys worth and more.

I had one of the first touch panel washer and dryer from Kenmore. They were sleek black and had a night light panel under the top lip of the appliance. They were incredibly durable, many custom cycles and a joy to use for many years! When I sold my modern home in the hills of Nashville, the buyer had it written in the contract that the Kenmore washer and dryer remain in the house! I miss them!

We have never had any issues with our Kenmore refrigerator or our washer and dryer. Their products are very reliable. Technical support is always available and the products last a very long time. It fits everything that we need it to and space is never an issue. I have 3 kids so were always stocked up on food which is fresh and frozen. It looks very modern. Their products are always of a modern look and style. They definitely keep up with the times. The value is always more than worth it. The products hold up over time and I would match them up against any other on the market from fancy to run of the mill.

We have had a Kenmore washing machine and a Kenmore dryer for ten to eleven years and our Kenmore washing machine is still working exceptionally well. And the Kenmore dryer we have, had it ten to eleven years and it still works good.

The Kenmore washer was ok. It could have been better. Maybe I need a bigger washer. I feel that maybe the washer and dryers you all make could be a little smaller for us short people cause the tube is deep that we cant reach all the clothes at the bottom of washer.

Kenmore washers are good at getting most pretreated stains, such as dog paw dirt and organic stuff. Kenmore dryers are superior and get my clothes dry in half the time of my old Maytag! I even had a Filter Queen that I loved but Kenmore beats that all to pieces. Kenmore always has been reliable and I imagine they will remain that way.

Kenmore front load connect washer and dryer - My wife is ready to kill me. I talked her into spending a lot of money on our new washer and dryer - man she could kill me. The washer takes long time and clothes still smell mildew and moldy, and we run the cleaner through it 2 times a week. The dryer never seems to get clothes dry and you just have to keep re-running them. I thought by paying a lot more for washer and dryer, we would be worry free - I couldnt be more wrong. I do not recommend them to anyone - better off throwing your money down the drain; own these and you will. And forget Sears to make anything right, you will be wasting your time.

Uses low water and cleans well. The dryer dries fast and is very quiet. Easy to balance. The washer cleans very well with low spin rumble. I love this washer... great warranty and long lasting product. I have had mine for a few years and never had any problem with either even the paint holds up to many uses and loads. I like the appearance... its compact but yet big enough for large and extra large family laundry loads. Easy to read controls and a very hard and sturdy paint finish. After a lot of physical in-store research and online searches the was the best price around for this great washer and dryer combo. With the great warranty its even a better value.

In June 2010, I purchased a Kenmore front load washer and dryer, model #4027-2900. I understand they were made by LG. I have had nothing but trouble with this washing machine. About six months after I had the washing machine, the rinse water would not spin out and the repairman came out and changed a computer part. Then, I started getting brown streaks all over my clothes. They told me to clean the machine and I told them I did. They have been out several times and cannot give me an answer why this keeps happening. The last man told me to go to the store and get washer cleaner and keep putting it through the cycle until the machine is fully clean. I clean the machine several times a month. I do not get brown streaks on my clothes every wash. I have had Kenmore washers and dryers all my life and I have never had the problems with Kenmore like I have on this machine. The washer and dryer were $850 a piece. I have always bought Sears appliances but I will never buy another Kenmore appliance. This machine has ruined many of my clothes. If you dont catch the stains when the wash is done and you put them in the dryer, the stains are set. I had to throw away many of mine and my husbands clothes. I keep the door open and drain the water from the bottom. I wipe the ring down every time I use the machine. I clean the machine at least twice a month. No matter what I do, the stains still get on my clothes. The repairman said try and only fill the machine half full. I have done all these things and I still get the brown stains. Why get a maintenance agreement when they cant solve my problem?
