I purchase Kenmore Elite refrigerator with bottom freezer 5/12/15 approx.: $ 1,500.00, the first few week foods on the shelves was freezing. I called Sears and after long waiting technician came and stated the temperature has defect. He change the temperature from 0/37 to 8/46. The condition did not improved and I did call again, but fruitless. Now the refrigerator smell toxic odor and give me headache. I called Sears, and finally repairman arrived, and stated the inside foam is defect. It needs to be replaced and cost $ 550.00. I told him this is manufacture defects as Sears has 10 years warranty for defects. He refused to replace the foam. I am very unhappy with Sears appliances, I cannot afford to buy new refrigerator, I am senior citizen with low income. This is abuse, unfair, and it is Sears responsibility to not sell defect appliances, instead take advantages from elders. Shame to Sears...

It is nice fridge.. Had a sufficient place to keep all! The temperature can be set at whatever we require! It keeps the temperature constant! Keep the items so fresh every time! The features of this refrigerator is simply superb! It is so elegant and matches with the color of my interiors! The aisles inside are built with quality! Easy to use!! It makes the ice so fast and produces more ice cubes!

Its size is big enough for all my needs. The freezer stores enough food for my family and the fridge is roomy and has different containers to hold all my necessary items. Its been used for a few years and still looks brand new like the day I first bought it. I just clean it out every once in a while but if I ever sold it you would think that its brand new. Its a reliable refrigerator that has lasted a long time over the years and I would say its value means a lot to me because of that. Also, theyre good and dont make your electric bill so much. Its worth every penny I spent on it. Its the only brand I would use for refrigerators and its the best brand of refrigerator you can ever buy.

My fridge does exactly what I bought it for. Keeps my food cold and my freezer stuff frozen. Overall it does a perfect job for me. The size of my refrigerator is perfect for a family like mine. After shopping trips we still have plenty of room left over after putting our groceries in it. This is for a family of 6 too. The appearance of our fridge is great. Its easy to clean and looks great in our kitchen. For the value of this fridge, Id have to say it was a great value for what we got it for. Definitely great value and a must-have for everyone.

So far so good. My freezer part is very cold and my fridge is very cold as well, and its very spacey as well. My door can be used on either the right or left side so that is a plus as well for me and my family.

If I can give less than a 1 I would do it. I have a refrigerator from Kenmore and It didnt last for a week and it broke down. I called them and they want me to pay for it to fix it even though its not my fault. The Kenmore Refrigerators compressors are LG and LG compressors people have court issues on it because they break easily. Dont waste your money on those kinds of refrigerator.

We have had the refrigerator for 8 1/2 years. No problems, so we are happy with it. We have referred Kenmore refrigerator to our friends and our daughter too. The freezer works well too. I like to cook and bake enough so I can freeze leftovers. This saves lots of money. My husband loves chili so I put the extras in small plastic bowls so if he wants chili he can go to the freezer and have his chili.

It is very quiet and runs very good. Would be one of my first choices to get if I had to get another. Keeps my stuff very cold and runs great. Its the perfect size. Fits just where I need it to. Its not too big or too small. Its a nice-looking fridge. It is white in color. Great appearance. It was just the right price. I would suggest all my friends get it.

Very high quality. Love the water features. That space is impeccable. The only thing I dont like is that the filter needs to be changed for the water dispenser. We’re a householder for 2 adults and 2 children and its wonderful for the little snacks. I love the drawer and the shell station and the fridge, I mean freezer. I always have room. Its very easy to keep clean and wipe down. Spray a little Windex on a paper towel and youre all done. I thought it would retain water spots and it doesn’t, so overall Im very impressed. I like it because the groceries you can order the products you can put in the drawer and have it sent at your own humidity. They last longer and it works wonderful with my fruit.

I like that the temperature is just right. It keeps food cold and doesnt freeze it. The shelving is plentiful. Theres room for my groceries. My food and drinks fit properly, I dont have to lay my drinks sideways, they actually stand up. The shelves are wide enough for heavy bags of fruit. And the drawers are large enough to fit food in the bottom also. Its black so it matches my other kitchen appliances. It looks nice in my house. It has a classic yet updated look. I always get compliments on how nice it looks. It was very affordable and in my budget. It didnt cost me a ton and break my bank. I didnt have to put it in layaway to purchase. It was delivered to my home free of charge. It got cold as soon as it plugged into the wall.

We got this fridge about 3 months ago and it is very good for the money and works well for my family. It serves its purpose keeping the items cold and the freezer is icy cold. The outside looks very big, but when you actually put items into it is not as big as you think. You have to be creative on how you put items in the fridge. It looks very appealing in the white color. It seems to fit around any household and the design is made it look great wherever you put the fridge. The value is really great, but again the size is something to be desired. Price cant be beat, but the size overall is way too small for a larger family.

Has excellent coolant, nice ice water/water dispenser and ice dispenser. It is one of the top names also. Beautifully laid out and easy to put things in. It is very dependable and the quality is great as well. You will find this brand to last forever and love the ice maker and water maker. The appearance is very beautiful. It is easy to clean and shine it up and it is just a very attractive refrigerator. The value was excellent for I had shopped around a lot and this was the best value for what I was looking for. You will enjoy this refrigerator very much.

The fridge keeps food cold and fresh. Can have a nice cold drink anytime. Had the fridge for 7 years and it still works great. Love it. Its a great fridge. I like the stainless steel outside, which is easy to keep clean, but the door doesnt hold a full dozen eggs. So I have mixed feelings about our refrig. Next time I buy a refrigerator, I will definitely make sure the door is the right size.

They guy at the store recommended Kenmore Refrigerators. I liked it and it was the right size. It was in my budget and I’m very pleased with it. It was in stock and they were able to bring and put it in right away. It has worked great. It keeps food just the right temp and food always stays fresh. Shelves are sized nicely and it is not noisy which I like. But why do all appliances look the same? I like something different and I wish they came in different colors, like red. And I wish the ice cubes were a different shape. The freezer seems small to me and should be bigger as well.

I purchased a Kenmore Elite refrigerator in May 2015 and the compressor failed this month October 2018. I am highly disappointed that this costly refrigerator is beyond repair after 3 years. This company should be held responsible for this and provide compensation for the hundreds of dollars in losses.

Kenmore has the best refrigerators, they last for decades, the old one I had was 21 years old before I gave it up. Keeps food fresh, consistent temp throughout the interior, love all the wonderful styles and colors you can get. I think one reason why Kenmore refrigerators are better is the company has been around for many decades.

We purchased a Kenmore side-by-side refrigerator with the ice maker and water dispenser in the door and freezer on bottom in 2006. Within less than a year, we had to have the ice maker fixed. A year after that, we had the same problem--we had to pay for it then. After spending $2200+ for the refrigerator, you should not have to buy an extended warranty. The water filter for the refrigerator costs $50 and I was told the ice maker wont work unless its been replaced. Now the whole thing may have burned up had my husband not been home. The light had not been turning off after the door closed (we had never changed the original bulbs), which caused the plastic around the lights to melt an bubbled the plastic on the refrigerator above it.

On 8/8/2011, I purchased a Kenmore Elite refrigerator model 4602 from Sears. In October of 2012, the ice dispenser caused my circuit breaker to trip and the dispenser stopped working. Of course, you may say I should have purchased insurance, but it seems to me it is ridiculous for a $1000+ appliance to stop working after 14 months. I will never again purchase from Sears or recommend them to my associates.

They never gave me any problems. Never understood some specifications but didnt really need to. Flawless. I would recommend this to everyone. The size could have been better. Some things dont fit inside the freezer area. Otherwise it is an excellent decision. Slick and incredible. Fits perfectly with the kitchen. It was improbable for me to find something bad about the entire look. Simplistic and useful. Great Buy. VALUE is eccentric. It is incredible how good this Refrigerator - it is one of the best products I have purchased in the last 10 years.

I too spent my hard earned dollars to purchase a Kenmore bottom mount refrigerator. Within two years of purchase it began leaking water onto my kitchen floor. Not only is this problematic in terms of actually having cold storage for our food but a hazard. Having been unaware of the problem, I took a major dive on the kitchen floor when I slid in the puddle of water. One more reason to BEWARE of purchasing from Sears. Seems like Sears will not change their irresponsible practices until a law suit forces them to do so.

The refrigerator is a good at keeping stuff in the freezer good for a long time. The bottom part works well, keeps food good and refresh and at the right temperature that it is set to. Overall it has a good size freezer and the bottom part is a real good size fridge that you can put a lot of items in. We are able to store a months worth of food in it. The appearance of this fridge is good looking. Plus it has a lot room to store stuff in it and it will match any kind of kitchen color you have. You get a value out of this refrigerator for the price that you have to pay for it. Plus it runs well and does a good job of keeping your food good and cold.

We have had no problems with our fridge. It has been nice to have a fridge with an ice maker and has been service free. Would buy another if needed.. It is hard to say anything more. It is a appliance that has been of good service and have not had to do anything with it.

We are very dissatisfied with our fridge. We have only had it about 3 years or so and only after a year the latch that keeps the doors (french doors) closed broke. We called and after a fight they came to replace it. Then a few months later it happened again. This time they wouldnt come to fix it unless we paid.

Do not buy any refrigerator from Kenmore. They do not stand behind their products. I have a two year old refrigerator (Kenmore elite refrigerator) that has rust spots all over the outside doors that should be a defect in the material but they refuse to do anything about it.

To me it is an older but regular refrigerator. I have had it 5 years and it was used when I got it and I have never had a problem with it. I would like a larger freezer section. There is not enough room for all my tv dinners, smart ones, frozen pizzas, ice cream and ice cube trays too. It is all white with the opening bars on the right side. Nothing to complain about for me. If I was buying new I think I would probably go for a colored one - bronze, tan, light blue. Value has been great for me.

I have had Kenmore and two other Sears refrigerators over the last 30+ years. This Kenmore Elite side by side has been very good. I had one small maintenance problem a few years back and Sears come to my small town 83 miles from their service center and did the repair at no expense to me. The only problem Ive had since is the fridge door handle is getting loose and I have emailed and spent quite some time online trying to see how to fix this. No luck to date.

After reporting the glass in my year old Kenmore Elite refrigerator exploded. This is a serious safety concern. Buyer beware!! The only thing they would say is warranty is up really??? This is a hazardous product to have in your home. Customer service was terrible. I have many pictures. I will no longer purchase Kenmore appliances.

The refrigerator is very reliable, keeps the food fresh and very cold too however you set it. The ice machine I just love, must be because I love ice. It can fit whatever you buy to put in it. Also if you cook and keep food as left over nice size to store just about anything. Even the freezer portion load it up with meat and veggies. Very clean on the outside, great smell on the inside. I recommend to any and everyone. Just make sure you choose the one you want. Its really up to you. The value is worth a lot but if you want nice things in life you have to spend money but I can guarantee you, if you get it you wont return it. Ive had mine for 3 yrs now still looks brand new.

Lasted a long time. Didnt have to get another one for another 10 years. I would buy another if the price was right. I am a bargain shopper and want something that will last long but also the price needs to be right. Growing up my parents also had a kenmore fridge along with other appliances made by Kenmore.

I chose the Kenmore because of the space and price. The price wasnt the cheapest but it also wasnt the most expensive. The space was nice and I liked that it came with a shelf in freezer as well! I also liked the ice machine feature, the temperature controls for both freezer and refrigerator, allowing humidity to keep low! Its very efficient. But I would change the way the shelves can be placed. I like to be able to have higher shelving on lower shelving for different food items and containers. I would also like to have seen the refrigerator last longer than it did.

Ive had it for a years with no issues. It has a dial to set the temp. It keeps everything cold and frozen in the freezer. It works great! Its a fantastic size! Not huge but definitely a good size. We have no space issues what so ever. It fits everything with no problems and we buy a lot of food. Were a family of 5! Its really just your typical fridge, nothing special. Its white, top is the freezer. Bottom is the fridge. It has 2 handles one for the fridge one for the freezer. The inside is huge - drawers a good size. It was a few years ago. But it still works great! Id say the value probably went down and its probably one of the cheaper ones out there now, since theres so many models that do so much more. This is pretty basic.

If you buy a Kenmore Elite French door be very sure you are buying one made by Whirlpool not made by LG. If you are told it is a LG, RUN. I have a $2000 Kenmore Elite French Door bought Aug. 09, 2013 that I am junking. Had it worked on by the only local guy locally. He put on new parts and could not fix. Takes Sears home repair at least 3 weeks to come. Sears does not offer any help and could care less. Wants you to buy a warranty for $49.95 a month to cover repairs up to $500. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING LG or KENMORE ELITE.

Kenmore is a well known brand and been around for s long time. It has met my initial expectations but it is a little noisy when the ice maker is making and dispensing ice. I compared it to Samsung before my purchase and in the end the lower price swayed my decision. It has a good amount of storage room in the freezer and the ice maker always keeps us in full supply. I appreciate the clear movable shelves which give me the opportunity to change the configuration based on what I have in the refrigerator. But while the overall dimensions are 26 cubic feet I would like more storage in the freezer. The space is good, but would like it to be a little wider. Also the in-door pantry is good, but again not as spacious as I would like.

On purchased a Kenmore top-freezer refrigerator in Jan. of 2021 through sears.com for $955.88. Five months after the purchase the fridge started emitting a burning-like odor. I contacted Sears Home Services more than 10 times over the course of a week to schedule warranty service, but each time I was told that their system was down, and that I should expect a call from them within 2-4 hours. It is now a week later, and I still have not been given an appointment.

Its wonderful. The ice comes out well and its always nice and cool. Best fridge ever. I would recommend it to anyone and probably everyone. Its huge and has enough space. I can fit a lot of groceries in each side.. And it never looks full. Its amazing. Just a lot of room. I have black and it fits well with all my kitchen interior. Its very very black and glossy. I love it. The value is good, I think its definitely worth its price.. Maybe could be a bit cheaper for reasons so people can afford it but Ive had it for years.

Easily cleans and shows no fingerprints. Blends right in with my kitchen decor. Very nice fridge for the price. Looks like a designer model without the designer price. Has features found on several higher priced models. Would certainly purchase it again.

We had this refrigerator for a couple of years and it would always have a build up of ice on the back of the freezer therefore it would not freeze the food properly. The size was great for a small family. We are a family of six and we really need a lot of room in the freezer. And when we filled it to capacity it would get a build up of ice. The refrigerator was a little old fashioned. White appliances dont have a modern appearance. It didnt take up a lot of room but it wasnt small either. We got the refrigerator on sale at an appliance warehouse. The price was reasonable enough. So the price fit into my budget and I thought it was a good buy.

It work very good. It has good service, and it preform well. I think its one of the best refrigerators on the market. I always will buy a Kenmore refrigerator. I have friends who can say the same thing about Kenmore refrigerators. They provide good service. If anything go wrong you can call customer service and they will fix any problem you might have.

It was okay. However I have had better. The customer service was subpar. I called once and I was on the line for two hours. The refrigerator itself only broke down once. But it was very difficult to get itself since the customer service was not the best.

Horrible.. Don’t buy Kenmore! We are on our second compressor for this 2 year old piece of junk, and now it stopped working AGAIN! Each time it has taken 6 weeks to get repaired... each time they replace the compressor with another faulty compressor because that’s what the warranty covers. We are cutting our losses and going fridge shopping for a more reliable brand. If I could give zero stars I would.

Have a Kenmore side-by-side since 1999. Purchased from Sears locally. Purchase and renew the service agreement for it since appliances are large, expensive, and important. In 15 years, we have had the unit serviced twice. The first time was to replace/fix something in the ice maker which is a wonderful luxury feature, easy fix. The second time, the only issue was dust underneath the unit causing coils to malfunction. Tech cleaned it out, super easy fix, completely my fault. Please clean out underneath your fridge at least yearly. The quick and short of it is, my Kenmore unit has been rock solid for 15 years and is still running steady. Kenmore, good stuff.

I have had access to several different Kenmore models that usually came with one of the houses or apartments I have rented, roommated with someone, or just visited over the years. I like the newer ones with the refrigerator on top and the freezer on the bottom. I like how much more spacious and energy efficient the newer models are. I like the models that come equipped with a water dispenser (filtered of course)/ice dispenser (also filtered)! I wish refrigerators were solar powered or could generate their own power so no electricity was necessary! In fact I wish all appliances were made this way! I didnt purchase this brand. It came with a few places I have rented over the years! Yes I was very satisfied with the Maytag brand and prefer it over other brands!

I have a double-door Kenmore refrigerator, which is very good. Nice cooling system with good defrost. It has enough space for storage of items. It has adjustable shelvings. High energy saving, efficient, appearance. It has adjustable storage.

It was good until it had to be replaced. It was one of my first refrigerators and it was nothing fancy. I got a side by side refrigerator the next time I got one but this one worked for many many years. It was a little small but still fully functional and it didnt take up too much space which is always good to have. I liked the big freezer personally because I eat a lot of frozen foods. Plain and white but clean and simple is how I would describe it. It had a good place to place magnets on the front and it wasnt nice enough that you were afraid of damaging it. I dont think I could have sold it to someone even in a garage sale but it served our purposes well which was primarily to keep our food cold or chilled.

We bought the Kenmore model #:795.51832.412 in June of 2017. By July of 2018 the ledge under the ice dispenser had started to rust. We contacted Sears and was told that they wouldnt help us since we did not buy the extended warranty. By September of 2019 it started inadvertently spitting out ice cubes on to the floor. By December of 2019 we woke up several mornings to find that the kitchen floor was flooded and that the entire freezer door was frozen on the inside. We originally decided to buy with Sears because we felt it was a reputable company and that we could trust that we would get a good product that they would stand behind. Boy were we wrong.

It has three shelves inside to easily stack the food for freezes. It even has a pull out drawer for extra storage. When food is kept in there it stays nice and cold. It is big like the size of a full-size fridge, except for the fact that it is all freezer. It has lots of space inside and very deep too. It is a tall, white, solid color freezer that is square in shape. It also needs a fairly big space to fit into. Overall it has great value and I would highly recommend this freezer. Since I bought it I have never had a problem with it. It runs nice and quietly.

Ive been a faithful and happy Kenmore appliance buyer for decades. Based on that experience, I recently bought a Kenmore Elite $1200 refrigerator. It developed freezer issues a month after the warranty expired and when I googled the issue I found that this was a common and known problem for this whole line of refrigerators. I contacted two local appliance-repair people and they both told me too bad, Kenmore used to be the reliable source of appliances, up until two or three years ago when they stopped manufacturing them in the US and started buying from the lowest bidder and just rebranding the resulting junk. Im disappointed in yet one more company having sold out and let down the faithful customers who kept them in business all these years. I will never again buy a Kenmore appliance, unless its an older used one in good condition.

My Kenmore refrigerator (manufactured by LG - be careful, they dont tell you that) has been broken for over 6 months. I finally got a Sears repair technician out on 8/28/18 to start the actual repair. The refrigerator worked for a couple weeks then broke again. A technician was sent out again on 11/6/18. He look at the refrigerator and informed me that the refrigerator was unrepairable and he made it perfectly clear that it was a direct result of the work that was done on 8/28. He left no doubt that the SEARS technician broke the refrigerator beyond repair. Since then I have gotten nothing but a run around from Sears on whether they are actually going to replace my property that THEY destroyed. They pointed out I dont have a warranty. Do I honestly need a warranty to protect me from YOUR negligence? Seriously?!?! To add insult to injury I received a $294 bill for the service visit on 8/28. They expect me to pay them for coming out and destroying my property. Unbelievable. So now Im out $300 plus about $2500 to buy a replacement fridge. I dont blame the technicians even the one who made the mistake. We are all human. Things happen. Sears could have done the right thing and resolved this in a quick, positive manner. Instead they chose the unresponsive, unethical route. They do not deserve to be in business if this is how they treat customers. I wish I could give them negative stars. My advice - there are so many ethical, customer service oriented businesses out there these days more worthy of your business. Even if they cost a little more they will definitely be getting my business over Sears.

I bought the fridge because I liked that it was side by side. I also like the ice maker and it also crushed ice. The only problem was the ice would stick and you would have to free it up all the time. I am really struggling try to fix this. Could have been bigger too. Other than that it was pretty good.

I bought Sears Kenmore Elite refrigerator 795.77563600 in 10/2006. It has always had problems with the ice maker, but Ive learned to live with it. Today, however, I opened the fridge at lunch time and noticed the smell of burning plastic. The lights had stayed on and melted the plastic light cover. The plastic was dripping down onto food! I tested the door switches to confirm that the doors werent simply left ajar: 1) Open doors: Fridge beeps and lights on; 2) Open doors + press switch: Fridge stops beeping and lights on; 3) Close doors: Fridge stops beeping (and presumably lights still on). I am happy I caught this during the day! I shudder to think what would have happened if this occurred at night. Kenmore/LG should recall these fridges before they cause a house fire!

Had a Kenmore refrigerator before and never had any problems with it. Kept food fresh and everything was always cold as well. It always functioned. The freezer was amazing. There was also ample room to store everything that I needed. The only thing was that I wished it had an ice maker.

Approximately Nov 10th of 2013, we noticed an RF error on the readout on our refrigerator and our food inside was all 40*. We had purchased a home warranty when we purchased the house so we called Old Republic and reported the problem. On the 12th a repairman from BJ Appliance Service came out and said he was afraid to do anything because he wasnt sure that it wasnt in the sealed part of the refrigerator which is under a ten year warranty so he would report back to Old Republic. Old Republic set up an appointment with Sears (A&E) Repair for November 19th. Since that time they have returned SEVEN times, replacing various parts each time, oftentimes more than once. Twice the repairman who was sent said that it was probably the fault of the first repairman that was sent. I insisted he did nothing but look at it. They finally agreed to a replacement because the fault was in the sealed part of the refrigerator but it took hours on the phone, seven times waiting for service and almost FOUR MONTHS without a working refrigerator. Twice customer service people told us that because we hadnt bought the warranty it was up to us to replace it. And we were also told by Old Republic that Sears and LG were arguing over who should replace it because it is really an LG product. No wonder Sears is failing - they used to stand behind things that had their name on them. And the warranty on this $2600 refrigerator was almost $400! Kenmore (even though it is LG product) and Sears - never again.

Kenmore is a great brand. We got one in 1994 and we just recently purchased another. I liked that we very rarely had to have it worked on. We had a top freezer with ice maker and the ice maker only broke once. The parts such as drawers and door shelves were very durable. The refrigerator was easy to clean and was the best one weve ever had.

No ice, poor cooling, slow response for added on 500 dollars Sears warranty. Under one year old fridge, evasive stalling by outsourced warranty company, three minute visit by the repair company. DONT BUY. DONT BUY. DONT BUY.

The refrigerator runs smoothly. The space available in the freezer was great for a family of 4. The refrigerator portion was spacious and easily configured. I was able to store my food and beverages in such a way to always be able to find what I needed. The ease of cleaning and maintain the inside and out was easy and quick. This refrigerator was a basic model and we chose it for that reason. It blended into the space to let the special features of our kitchen shine. After looking at many different refrigerators and comparing prices, reliability, and availability, we found this refrigerator to be the best for our budget.

I always have plenty of room, even after a stock-up shopping trip. Organized to make good use of adjustable shelves and bins. Goes very well with the design and aesthetics of my kitchen. Stands out as being high quality and enhances the overall appearance of the kitchen. Excellent value. We looked at numerous brands, and even those that were higher priced didnt compare in quality, durability, or appearance.

Pls stay away from Kenmore Elite Refrigerators sold by Sears and built by LG. Paid $2400 for the French door refrigerator and purchased it in Nov 2015. Bought extended warranty for additional 3 yrs for $500. Fridge stopped working 1 week ago. Not cooling or freezing. Sears tech came out and said this is a common problem with all LG refrigerators branded under Kenmore. 3 yr warranty expired in Dec. Go figure. Being charged $500 for labor. Wife is extremely annoyed. Our 15 yr old refrigerator in garage is working nicely which allowed us to survive. I am planning to complain to LG executives.

Kenmore is a good trusted product our family has used for many years. It runs very quietly, efficient energy, keeps things cold, but does not freeze food inside the refrigerator part, freezer keeps food frozen well, ice cubes are always ready when needed. We also like the side by side feature, has a water filter system, everything my husband wanted. However, filter needs changing too frequently, wish a longer lasting one could be produced. And the ice dispenser should be larger, as sometimes ice gets frozen into a big block.

We bought a Kenmore side by side fridge with the outside of the door features for $1,100.00. We didnt purchase insurance figuring it was going to last us a while and to keep the purchase price down. Guess what? For $1,100.00, that piece of crap lasted us a whole 3 friggin years - a purchase you would expect to last AT LEAST 8-10 years!! We had to spend another $900.00 three years later (and for a comparable GE Hotpoint). (Junky Kenmore model was #106.51252104.) BOTH fridge and freezer crapped out - we had to throw out all our food, so $1,100.00 AND a fortune in food was lost. BUYER BEWARE!!! (Oh, and our Kenmore front loader washer lasted us a whole five years - and we dont even have any kids!) We have given up on ANY Kenmore appliances!

I bought it (Model 65633) on 10/24/04 and have had the repairman out here at least 10 times. Now it is not cooling and ESP is saying it is the lines in the freezer and they will not fix them. We have a refrigerator in the garage for the last twenty years which my husband grew up with and it has never had a repair. There is no quality to your product and we will never buy a Kenmore again. I have told family and people who come over the same. What is wrong with your product? Initially, we were using A&E Repair at 800-905-9509 recommended by Sears. Thanks to them, the ice maker still does not work.

I have had my Kenmore refrigerator for more than 20 years. I like it and it is dependable. When we first got it, the ice bucket kept breaking in the freezer part for the ice maker. After several replacements under maintenance agreement, it has finally held up.

Keeps food cold and last long in this new fridge, and freezer keeps such fresh as well. Highly recommended this brand of refrigerator, Sears has a great selection of appliances. Previous brand Frigidaire didn’t keep my food fresh and was constantly leaking.

Ample space. Sliding shelves. Sliding drawers. Laid out very nice. Freezer on bottom with 2 shelves, lots of room. Single door with ice cube (inside) maker. Easy to clean. Black shows more dirt. Would not recommend that color.

It runs quiet, keeps the food fresh, only need cleaning maintenance once every six month. I have had not a big problem with the refrigerator. The defrost resistance was changed once. It is the perfect size for a small family of 3 to 4 persons. It can fit all of my needed items and it is possible to adjust the thermostat to keep the food in a perfect state. It has a very attractive appearance, it does not occupies a large space in the kitchen. The ice dispenser has a good appearance. The cabinets inside have the ideal shape to keep meats well refrigerated while having a nice appearance. It has a very good value for the money I paid. It has had only one failure due to electrical problems not related with the refrigerator itself. The maintenance is very easy, only cleaning and basic visual checking.

Kenmore is a very popular brand. It has a good name and very good quality. The ref was very spacious and the freezer held a lot. I liked that it had an ice maker, a water dispenser on it, as well as a light I could turn on when it was dark. I had a white one and wouldve rather had black because with kids, it was hard to keep clean. But it was a great refrigerator. Kenmore has exceeded my initial expectations for sure, I would definitely purchase another Kenmore appliance as well as recommend the brand to my family and friends.

At the time that I purchased this refrigerator, it was on sale. We bought this at Lowes and it was a scratch and dent sale. It just had a small dent on the side. I really liked that it had a lot of storage space. However, there just arent enough shelves. I wish this model had more shelves in the door and that it was handprint free. Also, I think it needs more freezer space. But I like the stainless steel.

Purchased my Kenmore French Door Bottom Freezer February 2013. Had issues right from the start. The ice maker didnt work but there was a thick layer of ice in the bottom of the freezer. Turns the tubing for the icemaker was incorrectly installed. In 2016 the ice maker worked but didnt dispense the ice. Had to have a technician fix that. Now in February 2017 I discovered the back of the refrigerator is rusted through and there is a hunk of ice on the back of the refrigerator. I purchased an extended warranty after the ice maker incident but Im now told that the fine print in the contract states that issues caused by rust are not covered. This refrigerator is only 4 years old. Ive had other refrigerators that have lasted me 20 yrs. Will NOT be buying another Kenmore!

Kenmore lives up to my expectations. When I buy a Kenmore appliance, I know that I got a great deal. The name brand brings me a feeling of security, knowing that my food is fresh, and I can organize it neatly. Also, my Kenmore refrigerator had tons of shelves and room to organize fruits and vegetables. I can put my sodas on the top shelf. I can wipe the shelves out with Windex. But I would make the drawers easier to move and clean, and put back. Sometimes the glass drawers break and you cannot get them to go back in. Then you are stuck with a big empty refrigerator.

Runs well and keeps thing cool even if I lose electric. Like the adjustable drawers and shelves in both fridge and freezer. Door shelves seem especially spacious. I can fit all my items into the fridge and freezer and adjust shelves as needed to make odd shaped items fit. The produce bins are excellently sized as well. I love the stainless steel look and material. Easy to clean and hide any fingerprints. Doesnt seem to stain when I drop something on it. I cant say much about the price because it was in the house when I bought it but I would pay a decent price to buy the same one if the occasion ever required it.

I liked that I could recognize the name. I really liked the refrigerator for many reasons. It was Easy to use and organize. It looks modern and yet classic. It was the best quality of refrigerator for the price. It met my expectations for keeping things cold. However, I wish the material was made of a harder material that could withhold young kids using it. There are cracks in some of the drawers. The fridge could have Deeper door spaces for the fridge doors too. I would like ways to customize it as well. In addition, I wish it came in other colors. I also wish there were more in store models to look at or a way to visualize it in the space.

I bought a set of Kenmore appliances from Sears. The refrigerator was made by LG . After a year and seven months the refrigerator stopped cooling. I called up Sears and asked about the warranty. They explain to me that they would send out a repairman however I would have to pay over $200 for service call but they would take that out if in fact there was something wrong with the refrigerator. The repairman Came out and told me there was a leak in the coolant system. He then told me it was not even worth to repair. He told me the LGs have a terrible history of either compressor is going out or a leak. When I asked about the warranty he said there was a one-year warranty. I asked about fixing it. He told me he could only guarantee it for a month. His advice was to buy Whirlpool Frigidaire or GE. I called up Sears and they told me There was no warranty on the coolant system. In fact there was only one year warranty.I looked around to other manufacturers and found out that they stand behind their cooling system. So I had a 18 month old refrigerator that did not work. I tried calling a repairman to see how much he would charge. He told me he would not even work on it. He gave me the same advice. Stick with whirlpool Frigidaire KitchenAid. The true cost of the refrigerator was over $ 3000. I know I understand wifes ears went out of business. What I would tell anybody is do not buy a Kenmore or LG as they do not stand behind their products.I went Home Depot to buy another refrigerator and I and explained to three people that were looking at LGs what happened to me. They told me, Thank you because they understood that buying a product that would not stand behind its a warranty its not a product they need in their kitchen. I would strongly suggest to anybody when you buy a new refrigerator look at the warranty On the cooling system. Interesting enough Frigidaire stands behind their cooling system.

I have always had great experience with Kenmore. Great quality for a great price. Highly recommend! Always has lots of storage and open spaces for all your fridge needs. Also has a lot of different varieties for different people. There isnt just one choice to choose from and I really like that. I like the fact that you can have the ice and water maker or you dont have to have that feature.

We have had this side by side refrigerator 4 years. In that time we have had a service person out twice because the ice maker wasnt working. Now we had them out again because the freezer wasnt keeping the foods frozen. This time the compressor is faulty. Apparently the extended warranty only lasted 3 years so it is going to cost from $700-$1000 to repair. I find it unacceptable that a refrigerator would only last 4 years. Last time I buy anything Kenmore. We bought this through Sears and they were of no help either.

I own a Kenmore Elite Trio French door refrigerator and the large glass shelve shattered in little pieces when I went to clean it under water. This is the second same type of fridge I owned and the problem is that the freezer keeps freezing up and then defrosting to the point that even the food gets defrosted. The ice maker freezes up and stops making ice. The ice melts down, then freezes up to one block of ice. This is a $2,000 purchase and it is the second one that I have owned. The first one was left behind when I sold my home and I only experienced it for five months as I had to move.My freezer has frozen up and the tracks were frozen. When I went to pull on the freezer handle to try to open it, the door hinge came off and the door is hanging on by one hinge. It is Saturday and I had to put a trash can up against the door to try to keep the freezer from defrosting until Monday, when a service man can come out to fix the door. I am reading all of these complaints and I am not a happy camper. I will be calling Sears Monday morning with all these complaints to back up my complaint and I will get back to you to let you know how it goes. I bought this fridge last September 2009.Updated on 05/06/2012:I followed up on my service call. Well, it has been one week, and today, I finally have my Kenmore Elite Trio bottom freezer made by LG working again. Never buy Sears appliances. I spoke to the corporate office, and you cannot speak to anyone above the so-called customer service executive office people. I spoke to a Lana, and she would not tell me her supervisors name. She said it is for security reasons. Ha! The service man came out on Monday, ordered the part, and came back Thursday to install. Well, it was the wrong part for the freezer door. I ordered it again, and the appointment was made for Saturday. The service man came out, and it was a different man who came out to service the fridge. He did not charge me! I am sure they made a mistake, because I was told I would not be reimbursed for food and I would only get maybe a 10 to 15 percent discount. Its not acceptable to me, since I lost over $300.00 worth of food. Lana was not helpful; she was very rude and would not let me speak to anyone else in corporate nor would she gave me any name of who was above her.So I called another number, thinking I would get someone else. And lo and behold, I ended up being transferred to Lana again. I told her that I wanted to speak to the CEO. She said I could not speak to a higher authority. I said I will be writing a letter to the CEO, and she said it will just go to her. I also stated in our conversations that I will be standing out in front of Sears appliance entrance, telling and showing everyone about these complaints that are out on the internet about Kenmore appliances and the lousy service you get now. She said to not threaten her. So I said it was a promise, not a threat. Hmm, I wonder if she had second thoughts and really did authorize the service for free.Well, we will find out if they contact me. I will be telling them Too bad! And I will not be paying for anything, except the service call. Stay tuned. Remember my freezer door got stuck, then I tried to open it and the door fell off the hinge. That is my story. Spread the word. Do not buy appliances at Sears. Oh, I also told her I was a realtor, and I was going to tell everyone in the industry not to buy Sears appliances. Hopefully, she came to realize I was not joking.

I have never had any problems with my Kenmore refrigerator, nor had to get any parts. I once had a problem with the ice dispenser but that was only because the landlord hooked it up incorrectly.

The refrigerator was pretty big, with lot of space and room for every product I buy. It was a good fridge too... With different level of coldness. The price was good and for a good value.

I purchased a bottom-freezer Kenmore refrig. in April 2013 that has needed 7 service calls. The doors didnt close right, there was frost in the freezer (3 different times), the light switch was broken, etc. We now have frost again and need a new gasket. The latest appointment was scheduled contingent on receiving the new gasket. 10 days after I reported frost in the freezer for a second time. The technician claimed to have aligned the doors, but I can open the top door with one finger, and the freezer door isnt aligned with the top. Everything in the freezer is covered in a thick layer of frost. After confirming the latest appointment, it was cancelled and re-scheduled unexpectedly. Ive never heard of a 2 year old refrigerator needing 7 service calls. These repairs point out the cheap, shoddy construction of this Kenmore appliance. If it wasnt so expensive, Id throw it out and buy from another company. I always thought Kenmore had a good reputation, but I was mistaken.

I have owned other appliances from other companies and would have issues after just a few months of owning the product. The biggest issue with other appliances that we have had is that it will stop cooling and our food would be ruined. As a mother of twins and a teenage daughter, this is a really big deal for us. We switched and since then, its been great. I dont have to worry about coming home to find that everything is ruined.We could use a bigger fridge since we are a large family but I think as long as we dont have to worry about our food being ruined, we are perfectly content. We have the typical type fridge. Freezer on top and fridge on the bottom... very similar to the fridges that our parents used as we were growing up just newer. We are not rich at all. We have twins and teens and that is enough to break the bank. We were very limited on how much we could spend on appliances. Considering we have gotten ours at a very affordable price and no issues, its priceless.

The Kenmore refrigerator has a pull out freezer door. It has a lot of space and is easy to clean. There has been a couple quirks but nothing major and the warranty covers most of it. However, I would improve the placement of the freezing element. It ices up sometimes and has to be unthawed. I also wish the workers would explain the problems a little more and the solutions. They could be a little bit more timely also. But that is expected with anything and any situation. I have always used Kenmore products and wouldnt get another brand. Kenmore has met my expectations. They have good quality products and stay true to their word on warranty. Thank you for the service. I appreciate it. I am overall happy.

Its really exactly what you would/should expect. Its definitely a quality product. I do really love the whole ice machine bit. Buy some Tupperware though. I like to use the crock pot for roasts and what not and it definitely doesnt fit. Size is fine. Breaking up the roast into smaller portions isnt a bad deal though. Makes it ready to take in my lunch that way, anyway. Black, modern, sleek. I mean, its a refrigerator. Not exactly the centrepiece of a room really. It doesnt stand out though, so thats nice. I dont think Ive ever really looked at one made after the 80s or so that I thought was ugly, really. I mean, considering I barely paid for it, Im pretty stoked on the value. I would have happily paid asking price, though.

Very efficient and quiet and also very easy to use with little or no help at all. Its great. I will/wish all of your appliances worked as quietly as that brings to memory when my fridge went kaput. You can fit pots and pans and skillets and soil washers. It also will allow you to put in coolers if theyre not of great size and does get those clean especially after camping and fishing. It has a really Sleek look. Very small in size and fits in the smallest Corner in my kitchen but still is very easy to access. It was the best one that we saw for sale at the time especially for the small size. Besides having a very Sleek look and being small enough to fit in the corner of my kitchen the value seems fantastic as it has a really new look although it is not too old. I really do love it.

The Ice maker in the freezer is fantastic. It shuts off when the bin is full and you can shut it off at any time. I also like the idea of the humidity control in the two lower drawers. They are also very spacious, as is the meat drawer. I like the adjustable glass shelves. The entire refrigerator is very spacious and great for the whole family.

I bought Kenmore Refrigerator, 795692902, on May 2012. The warranty elapsed six months ago. The freezer works fine but the Refrigerator below is cool. I called a repair person. He diagnosed the problem as being a computer board for the Refrigerator is bad. He said the Refrigerator is too new to have that kind of problem.. I would not buy any Kenmore product again.

Bought a Kenmore refrigerator 1/15/14, died on 9/7/14. Two weeks for the first tech to come out, ordered a compressor, took a week to arrive. Second tech ordered unnecessary part (per original tech) another 1 1/2 weeks. Original tech arrived, refrigerator unrepairable. He cut off power cord, wiring harness, and all the parts he had soldered on. All this for a bad compressor? This model not available any longer, nothing comparable because of size except for two inferior models that we cant even see as they are online plus another two weeks to deliver. So, already at over a month without a refrigerator, they refuse to refund our money, they dont have a replacement available and we have a child in the house. Anyone wonder why Sears stocks are dropping and now their vendors wont deliver to them anymore?

My refrigerator is four years old, and it has been trouble-free. I bought it on-line from Sears, and it was delivered and set up without issue. Its quiet and couldnt be happier with its performance and appearance.

This refrigerator runs fantastic, I love it!! And its so quiet, which is a huge plus, considering how loud some refrigerators can be. Theres also the fact that it is quite large on the inside, as opposed to some brands which look much larger on the outside than they actually are on the inside.

It was my first time buying one. I was pleased. It was easy to clean. It was enough space and it made my kitchen look even better. I would buy it again but Im still enjoying my first one. Its nice to have. Its huge enough room for everyones groceries and we buy a lot of groceries so Im very pleased with all the room it has. It has a very nice appearance to it. When family and friends come over, they comment about how nice it looks. It was very affordable and very much worth it. I love my refrigerator. I definitely tell friends and family to go check out the prices. Theyre nice and affordable.

Kenmore side-by-side refrigerator model #795-5102 - I purchased this refrigerator in October 2010. I just now noticed that a crack in the inside wall going from the back of the freezer to the front. I was told that I could get a $500 credit if it was decided that it was a workmanship defect. The refrigerator is like in a new condition. Im very angry and dissatisfied with Sears. The refrigerator cost over $1000. What do they think $500 will do for a new fridge? My last fridge lasted me over 10 years, not less than 2. No remedy to this. Sears is not what they used to be. I will never buy anything from them again.

Purchased on 2/16/15. Delivered 4/2/15. 8/22/15 - Called for repair - Motor broke -- All food spoiled. Several repairs and parts ordered over months. Motor broke, Motherboard broke, 6 boxes of parts delivered to house for install. Still no fridge to use. Sears offered no loaner, nothing for our family. After working for 1 month with Christian, from the Los Altos Appliance Dept., a new one was traded out in November 2015 -- I purchased 3 year extended warranty on the replacement.7/28/17 - Fridge. temp read 33 degrees ** but food felt less cold to touch. 8/4 - 8/6/17-- All food spoiling. went to Los Altos Sears for help. Salesman said they couldnt help. Said to call 800 - 4 my home. 8/6/17 - Called above number and was placed on emergency repair list by Greg. Soonest appt. may be Aug 15th but they may call to come in at a moments notice anytime before then if there is extra time in the schedule, maybe. Getting an ice chest for milk, etc and taking any food that is still good, to friends for them to keep cold in their fridge. Now we wait 9 days??? I have emails with the Sears Help websites. So many years of Sears good name just.

Ive owned this refrigerator for 10 years and its always performed perfectly. The food stays fresh without getting dried out and its easy to clean. All the food I need for a family of 4 fits easily and I especially like how I can put a gallon of milk on the door. Sometimes I wish for a bigger freezer, but my kitchen would not accommodate it. Its a pretty standard-looking refrigerator and would not stand out in a crowd. But it matches the look of my kitchen and I am more interested in how it works than how it looks. This refrigerator was one of the least expensive we found while we were shopping but its a great performer. It had the extras we wanted without all of the bells and whistles and was a great price.

I chose Kenmore mainly for the price point and because I grew up with Kenmore appliances. My first Kenmore refrigerator lasted just 5 years and on credit. It was about time to replace it when it was paid in full. I always felt Kenmore appliances as being constructed very well. It was ergonomic and intuitive as far as space use. Also I found it easy to remove drawers and shelves to clean, and the construction resisted breaking and discoloring. But it was much louder than expected, the freezer temperature was not as easy to regulate. It was harder to move when cleaning behind it. I prefer a wider freezer section or positioned at the bottom.

It just works really good. Im happy with it. It keeps things very cold and has a lot of room. I have no problems with it. I enjoy using it and looking at it. Ive always had a small refrigerator so when I purchased a new one, space was a big issue for me. I am happy to say that I made the right choice. The fridge looks really nice in my kitchen. It makes the kitchen appear beautiful! I like just looking at it everyday. I got a good deal when I purchased this fridge. The value of it is great. Im glad I got it now. I wouldnt have another.

I purchased a Kenmore Refrigerator September 2011. It is Jan 2015 and repairman is telling me compressor has failed on this product for which I spent $1838.66 cash. Who would think after only 3 yrs this would occur, my 15 y.o refrigerator was still working when Sears delivered this piece of big metal box!!! and took the old one away. I am seeing online that this is happening to quite a number of consumers, some compressors are even failing at 2 yrs and less. Why is Consumer Affairs and/or the Consumer Protection Agency letting Sears/Kenmore get away with this? Shouldnt there be a class action lawsuit against a manufacturer who is selling a product knowing it is failing like this? I have spoken to several people and supervisors at Sears repair today and each has tried to show me with the Well we offered you a resolution, the resolution is to spend 1/3rd ($600) the cost of the refrigerator to let Sears repair it!!! (what a joke/gimmick) ...and being told I should have bought the protection warranty. If I would have thought for a moment a Sears refrigerator would fail the major part of its works in 3 years, most manufacturers give 5 yrs, I would have gone elsewhere to purchase. My thought was by the time I would need repairs I would be ready for a newer model anyway. My mothers Kenmore is now over 30 yrs old, my sisters is over 10. I will never buy another Sears product and will be sure to inform and warn everyone in my social media circle that Sears is no longer the company we grew up with and not to purchase their products because they do not stand behind them and will rip you off for more money on any appliance you buy from them..

The reason I choose Kenmore is first and foremost is their reputation and its storage zones. The Kenmore brand is a well respected brand and is well sold all over the world. Kenmore refrigerator uses new technology at the time for zone temperature control which is very helpful especially for fruit and vegetables. Kenmore exceeds my expectations on reliability, safety, control, smart design and engineering. Kenmore has very few design imperfections that I dislike with a couple of items. The first is the unit footprint limitations especially for an apartment size space. As usual I would prefer something that holds all my standard groceries and items I need temperature controlled that may spoil. The second item is compartment sizes efficient to hold my vegetables especially when cooking and having to pile them on a shelf.

It always works very well - we never had a problem with it. It is small for the growing family but it works great all the time. We have never had a problem with it and it runs well. Great, never worried that we would open the door to spoiled food. The refrigerators size is a downfall with a growing family. We usually use it as a second fridge to have enough room for the familys food. Always looks great. Easy to wipe down, easy to clean soap and water. Great looking all the time. The kids can get handprints and mud dirt and grime all over and it still wipes down with paper towels easy. The price we paid for the fridge and how long weve owned it has been a tremendous value. The price at the time was a bit over what we could afford at the time but we knew it was something that would last quite some time and it has been well worth it.
