Big disappointment after spending $2-3k in this refrigerator only 3 yrs ago and the compressor goes out 1-2 weeks after my warranty expires. Luckily the compressor is covered longer but the labor was ridiculous $$$. And then to read all the individuals who had the same thing happen and practically at the same time. This has to be like a recall or defective batch that was made 2016-2017. And to think I spent extra because I wanted to counter height. Last Kenmore I’ll buy.

It is a nice appliance. It keeps everything cold all the time. It is easy to clean. It has a small freezer for ice. For a single person such as myself, it is energy efficient. I like this unit I have. Its just right for me. I recommend it to anyone.

We had the Kenmore refrigerator for 7 years. It worked really great and never had any issues with it. The only reason we went with a different one was because we remodeled the kitchen. A family member got the Kenmore and still runs wonderfully. Would recommend this brand to people.

The model worked great and always had cold ice. It was a strong fridge and everything stayed cold and fresh. It worked for many years and never had to replace it. The size was good however I wish that the freezer was a little bigger. But the shelves were great and the storage in the doors was really good. The appearance of the fridge was slick and nice and it was very appealing to the eyes. It was a nice design however it really left fingerprints. The value of the fridge is great and it had a lot of storage space and it came with an ice maker and for the price it was great and would definitely pay it again.

I have had my avocado green refrigerator since 1972 and it had never given me any problems. Im sure the ice maker would still work if I had the water hooked up to it, but had to move it onto a screened in porch a few years ago to make room for a side by side. It is used for cold drinks, food trays during the holidays or parties, and the freezer for over flow from the other freezers. I couldnt be happier with it and the service it has provided over the years. This refrigerator came out before the energy efficient ones were being thought about and as far as I am concerned it doesnt use any more energy than the newer ones.It is an 18.cubic foot with the nice sized freezer, with a shelf and ice maker. The refrigerator has numerous shelves that can be moved around or removed for larger items. There are 2 vegetable bins that are nice and deep across the bottom. There is a wide wire basket below the bins that makes extra storage possible for items. It has a nice finish that easily wipes down to keep it looking clean. There is a lot of room on top to store items that arent used everyday.

Bought a bottom freezer French door fridge from Sears in February. Noticed that it seemed to run almost constantly, and the compressor hums and buzzes so loudly that it is audible in almost every room in the house. Since the unit is under warranty I called the Sears service center. They have our information on file. The first technician I spoke with tried to tell me that the noise is coming from the ice maker. When I didnt agree, she said to lower the temperature in both the fridge and freezer and wait 24 hours. I did that, but the noise persists. I called again.The second technician explained that the noise is likely coming from the water filter because my water pressure is too high. I disagreed, and she suggested I unplug the fridge for two minutes to reset the system, then wait 24 hours for the unit to stabilize. I did that, and the noise persists along with the compressor running almost constantly. Im now told that this sort of noise is normal in todays modern refrigerators and there is no need schedule a service call. Im about at the end of my rope. It may be time to send this sucker back to Sears and get my money back. Avoid Sears at all costs. No wonder theyre failing.

Bought this refrigerator less than two years ago, already doesnt cool or freeze. Sears technician was a no-show after waiting all day on a Saturday. Said he called, complete lie. Trying to get another tech out, may be another week, this is so unsatisfactory! I was a big Sears supporter but no more. Looks Kenmore refrigerators are junk, Sears needs to extend the warranty especially on their high end products. Im going to the Executive Team about this.

Its a nice basic looking fridge/freezer combination. I dont like a big fancy fridge and I dont need a fancy ice maker and filtered water spout. I can make my own ice cubes. Im a basic person. I like the color white because it is easy to tell when it gets dirty and needs a good wipe down. I love how it has enough space on the door shelves to fit milk and juice etc. The fresh drawers are plenty big to fit a head of lettuce and other produce too and the freezer is the perfect size for what I need to store. Also, always keeps food the right temperature and the price was perfect for people or families on a budget.

I initially chose to purchase Kenmore over other refrigerator brands mainly due to the price. It was on sale and it had all the features that I wanted like filtered ice maker and a freezer. It keeps food cold. It also has a vegetable crisper drawer with humidity controls. I had a fridge once that kept coming open because the magnet strip was not good. I had to throw food away which was not good. But my current fridge has an alarm that goes off if the door is left open. It also has an ice plus feature that makes more ice when needed.

I had absolutely no problems with my Kenmore refrigerator. It kept my food cold and replaced the ice in a timely manner when completely emptied. The water and ice dispenser on the door was a brilliant idea. Was new to me and very convenient. The only reason it was replaced was because we needed a bigger refrigerator.

Kenmore has a good reputation as quality purchase. It never let me down before. Every time we have needed a new appliance the first thing my husband does is go to Sears and looks at Kenmore. I was replacing old appliances as they broke trying to get all white and the fridge was the first one I was able to do that. I like the filtered ice and water dispenser, side by side doors, moveable shelves, electric controls. It always kept food cold or frozen. The freezer had lots of shelves that were adjustable but I wish it could have been wider. I would have gotten a bigger one if had room for it.

This fridge is great, Id recommend this to anyone with a family. The pull out freezer drawer is awesome. A must have! Tell your friends, tell your family! Fridge did the job that it was supposed to do. Our food was kept cold until we wanted to use it, many times for a week. All of our drinks were kept very cold. We had no leakage from under the fridge which was the main problem with our old one. This fridge blends in well with the decor of our kitchen. We also have a small freezer on the top which keeps everything frozen forever. Neither the fridge or freezer need to be cleaned out very often. I just like my fridge.

As much as we opened and closed the doors on this refrigerator it is a wonder it is still here. My refrigerator has been operating very well with no problems. It is large enough to put milk, eggs and meats in the freezer. It served a great room for all my favorite snacks and many many vegetables I buy on the daily. It is a nice model. A regular Kenmore refrigerator with no problems or issues. The value of the refrigerator seems reasonable to me.

Although it was a previous purchase, the Kenmore refrigerator that we had for quite a few years was well built, dependable, and lasted the household for more than ten years. I regret that we did not return to Sears in order to purchase another Kenmore brand refrigerator when the existing one finally broke down to where it was not repairable. Never had any problems. Had lots of space, kept everything cold, didnt freeze vegetables and cheese, self defrosted freezer, was quiet, never runs loudly, keeps frozen food frozen, not frostbitten.

We bought a $4k elite 4 years ago, $1k per year and it stopped working. The repair service is pretty much what you read all over the internet. Its a joke the selective 4+ star rating their website shows based on customer complaints. This repair and product services is the biggest joke I have ever experienced. It is not my opinion, its fact they are not customer or priority focused now. Unbelievable. So the requirements to click it is my opinion without a selection that it is my experience and factually horrible service is beyond me.Lost all my freezer and fridge food going on four weeks now with empty promises daily my situation will be addressed. According to others I believe we may just have to repurchase another appliance to replace the ** one we paid hard earned money for several years back. Again this is unbelievable dissatisfaction in a long standing customer. Not sure anything action at this point will erase the sad bad service experience in Sears.

I chose the Kenmore refrigerator because Kenmore is a good, tried and true dependable company. When I go to my fridge I dont think about the motor going out but that its a Kenmore and this baby will last forever. It was spacious and the extended personal choices of the cold settings were easy to use and convenient. I absolutely loved the soft close doors and drawers too. However, I disliked the lack of color options. The designing team could have designed a less basic and more comprehensive look to the modern generation bracket that I fall into. Also, if Kenmore would have added more features in the water and ice and if the control panels were lit well like a blue LCD that would be just perfect. Other than that, its a literal peace of mind.

I chose Kenmore because it is a well known brand and I know some of my family has had a Kenmore refrigerator last for many many years. I liked that it looked great in my kitchen and it went very well with all of the other appliances. It had lots of room for me to store everything I needed in it. It kept all of my food at the correct temperature and kept them fresh. But I would want an alarm on the door if it is left open by accident. It would help ensure that your food was kept at the proper temperature and alarm everyone if there is a problem. Other than that, it lasted so long and had great performance. It definitely met my expectations and I would recommend it to anyone that is looking for a new refrigerator.

Our kenmore bottom mount refrigerator Type BMA 19F is leaking water on the hardwood floor. The refrigerator is not even 2 years old. What do we do? This could wreck our floor and of course the warranty is finished.

The ice machine works great. I highly recommend this product. This refrigerator is the perfect size for storing all your leftovers and more. You can store gallon of milk and juices, sodas etc leaving lots of room for other necessities. Lots of room in the freezer as well, and the shelving makes it easy access. The stainless steel finish is such a sleek look! Easy to wipe clean and leaves no fingerprints. The interior is bright and easy to keep clean. It wipes clean very easily with a damp. Love the easy access to be able to get the ice, either crushed or cubed choices. Or cold water option as well. The price of this model is in comparison to other models and brands of its kind. This model is efficient in its performance and does all that is needed in a refrigerator. It is beautiful to look at and very easy to access the items that are stored into it.

I had a Kenmore for about 15 yrs and it was still going strong. Unfortunately it was ruin on a move from MA to FL. It was great, never had a problem. I ended up buying a Maytag in FL, and have had problems with it constantly. Ive been through 3 replacements, its so bad. My next fridge will be a Kenmore.

The entire unit has plenty of space for your needs of a family, Id say up to 7 people. The refrigerator and freezer space is large enough to hold whatever it is you need. The freezer has never iced up in 13 years, which makes me thrilled. If I had to replace my unit, I would certainly consider another made by Kenmore as I HAVE NOT had any trouble with this one AT ALL. The refrigerators size is a good because everything fits well in there with plenty of room for everything else. The appearance for this refrigerator is excellent because it looks pretty and cleans real well. I always get compliments on this refrigerator. When we purchased this refrigerator in June of 2015 as part of our kitchen remodeling project, we decided to invest a bit extra to get an appliance that was on the higher end of the product line as we wanted something formidable that would last and serve us well. After two years it would be difficult to be more disappointed with the decision to purchase this particular appliance. Though we havent had an issue with the basic cooling function of the refrigerator or freezer, the rest of the items is slowly falling apart. The ice maker began to fail within a year and now it is completely non functional. The plastic that held the spring loaded door flange has broken off so we need to manually move the flange each and every time we close the refrigerator. Also, door compartments have broken off and need to be held on with tape. This refrigerator is only two years old but parts have broken or snapped off as though it were many many years older. The overall engineering and choice of materials of this appliance is extremely poor and non durable, particularly for a higher-end model. I would strongly dissuade anybody that I cared about from making the same mistake we did in purchasing this refrigerator.

The refrigerator that I got worked so good. It was just amazing. It had the perfect temperature and it made ice through the front of the door. Everyone was very impressed with it. The size of the refrigerator was perfect for me because I have a big kitchen. It is a big refrigerator so keep in mind the size of your doorways and your kitchen before you purchase one. Always take measurements beforehand. The appearance of the refrigerator was beautiful. The stainless steel was so shiny and clean. It just makes the kitchen look so much more modern and new. I have gotten many compliments from it. The refrigerator was well worth the money for everything you get. Once you have an appliance like this one you will not want to buy any other kitchen brand.

I had good sales experience with Kenmore. It has good quality and lasts longer than most brands. It is also a good brand to help save on electricity and keep food fresher longer. There is a variety of fridges to choose from, big or smaller styles, and parts are easy to get and is an American-made product. They have great prices and don’t have to replace less than five years. I like that it is big and has lots of storage. It has three drawers and keeps things cold long. Food stays fresh longer. It has a big freezer and I like the white one the best. But I would make more colors to choose and have a ice maker on more models. I also would like to see more drawers in the fridge and the light could stay on longer. It needs a temperature control you don’t have to control so food doesn’t freeze at all and a little more space in the freezer.

This was our first refrigerator we bought after we got married and it worked great. A simple fridge to get us started and it held everything we bought for just the two of us. Even had room to store food made for company.

We purchased this refrigerator (Kenmore Refrigerator Model 970-420423) on April 26, 2012, and it is the noisiest fridge Ive ever seen. The motors keep constantly running. Apparently, it has 3 motors in it, and with requiring so much pressure, every time we open the fridge portion, the top freezer pops open and often. It doesnt close completely, leaving a gap of about 1/4. If a person is gone all day, they can easily find that the freezer section has been open 1/4 all day. Were so dissatisfied with our purchase and because it takes awhile to realize its problems, Sears would only send a repairman out to check it out. He says the material they use to insulate the fridges now does not do anything to soundproof them. He gave the reasons for the freezer door popping open which doesnt help us any. Were very sorry we purchased from Sears. We wont trust them again. This product is supposed to be made by Maytag, so, watch out.

Its a great refrigerator. Meets all my needs and more. Worth way more than I paid for it. Keeps food fresh and makes food last for a very long time. Freeze and refrigerates stuff in a timely manner without any problems. Has a great overall design. Very easy to understand and really easy to use. Theres no other refrigerator like it. Its 100% top of the line and really easy to install.

I like my refrigerator from Kenmore. It has been a good thing for my family. I like the fact that it dispenses ice and water that are filtered and safe for me and my family. The refrigerator I owned in the past would always shut itself off, therefore spoiling all my food and causing a huge mess. I googled the largest refrigerator made and pulled up this Kenmore Elite, it is big up top and the bottom freezer has mammoth room! The ice and water in the door are simply perfect and take up a very small amount of room in the door. The drawers in the fridge are spacious, I’m very happy! To clean the entire top and bottom is easy.

This refrigerator was good quality, it was reliable. Would of enjoyed one of the stainless steel models with the sleeker look and more modern design, but this fridge was fine. It was easy to keep clean even though its white. Also, it was a good size for my family (myself, husband, and one child). There was plenty of room and extra for everything we need. I tend to cool a few big meals on Sunday to last a few days and need to store it in large tupperware or pots and that can take up a lot of room but I had it with this fridge. We had it for years with no problems and I didnt feel like this fridge option was overpriced. I like this brand and its a trusted name so I felt comfortable with what we were purchasing. I would recommend this fridge and this brand.

I’ve had my mini refrigerator with freezer for 18 years now. And the only thing that broke on it was the thermostat switch broke. This refrigerator was and to me still the best interiorly designed mini fridge and freezer ever made. It’s getting so old now, that’s why I’ve decided to by a second one for the 3 time in 18 years. Just to have in the basement, but they all suck in design and they really do not last long at all????! But the one in my room just keeps on fighting like a muscle car???? Kenmore please bring back the old mini interior design and quality... Please!

I purchased my new refrigerator from Sears four years ago. The ice maker did not produce ice. For 2 1/2 years they would come to repair for it to only last approx. 6 months before breaking down again. After the 3rd year a tech comes and explains that the ice maker has been recalled, its non repairable. Now year 4, the unit stopped cooling! They come and replace the control board because it was on recall too. Really??? Now Im on technician visit number 6 within 2 weeks. Day after installation of new board... warm again!!! No freezer, no refrigerator. Maam its your compressor. Another week for compressor to arrive, installed, nothing. The thing is warmer with new compressor. Why??!! I have had 9 visits as of date, new and updated compressor, new ice maker, and new control board. Nothing is working!!! Im sooo frustrated now that no one wants to take ownership. It is model number 795.74032.411. BUYERS BEWARE!!!! DONT PURCHASE!!! Sears is not standing behind its product at all.

Working very well. No problems at all. Keep things cool and frozen. Had for a very long time. Will buy another Kenmore when this refrigerator stops working. My size is small due to the size of my kitchen but would love to have a larger model to hold more food and have a bigger freezer for meats and vegetables. I like that Kenmore is a trusted brand with a strong tradition. I also chose because of previous experience with the brand. This is the brand we had in our house growing up. Its a sturdy fridge with a good amount of space and drawers to hold a variety of food. I am pretty happy with it as a whole.

I selected Kenmore because of the price and the space provided. On the day of delivery I had to help the Sears driver bring the refrigerator to its location because he was by himself. The refrigerator is a black exterior with an 18-cubic foot interior for almost $700.00. The size of the refrigerator fit our needs with several interior shelves and drawer space and shelving space on the doors. The freezer is two-tiered and came with an ice tray. But the refrigerator is too cold and drips water in the interior. Sears was called to fix it. They came out but said nothing could be done. To this day the refrigerator is still producing temperatures that are way too cold causing food loss over time and a huge letdown overall. Ultimately, Sears and Kenmore have let me down and lost customers.

Keep food chilled in the fridge and frozen in the freezer. No unexpected problems. Ice and water maker worked. Large area of space for fruits and vegetables. Space for milk and large jugs of ice tea. Space for containers in the door like Mayo, jelly, yogurt, etc... It was a little bigger than the average sized refrigerator, but still fit nicely in my kitchen. Was easy to find a suitable place to move it if I decide to change the kitchen around. Easy to clean up and revealing its shine through each cleaning. Great finish holding up throughout Myrtle cleanings and messes. Would recommend to friends. Large freezer space with ice maker. Plenty of space by separating shelves. 2 doors compartments separate the fridge from the freezer by a split door. Quality built - well worth what you pay for the product.

This is a standard fridge that will last a lot longer than you might need and will effectively cool and keep your foods fresh. The performance considering the length of time it can be in use is impressive. The size of this fridge can accommodate any normal familys requirements for food cooling and storage as well as freezing solutions. The size is more than adequate. The look of this fridge is a standard white fridge with the handle and ultimately nothing needs to be changed. Its just fine the way that it is with the classic design appeal. Considering this is one of the lower end models, its rather high quality and therefore the value is rather high when considering how reliable the model in general is.

Kenmore 596 fridge now close to five years old. Within year one, ice maker broke (repaired twice and then replaced). Year two, water leaking on the floor caused by automatic defrost clogged drain plug. Replaced drain plug, defrosted ice dam and fixed ice maker - Sears repair bill = $225. Ice maker stopped working two weeks later. Year 4 - compressor dies. Sears repairman here 3 times over 3 weeks - freon leak - unrepairable. Repairman had to request approval for new fridge. We need to wait 36 hours for answer. 20 days without fridge. Unacceptable.

The ice maker was a must-have for my husband. It really helps with keeping the freezer door shut and save energy. The kids drink more water because of it. All in all the fridge is very spacious and the shelves make it easy to find everything. 26 cu. ft was the biggest one they had. It works great for our family. The kids can always find their snacks after school or after play time. The whole family is happy with the size. Its very pretty and we get lots of compliments. People seem to like the size and the overall look of it. The finish is easy to clean and the ice maker is very noticeable. It was a little bit pricey, but so worth it. Overall we are very pleased with the fridge and the freezer. I would buy this one again, but being a Kenmore we wont need to for years to come.

I really love the amount of features the Kenmore Refrigerator comes with. It comes with an ice machine and a water filter. It also has temperature control and has lasted me about three years. Although it is a great working fridge it does have its problems. The power consumption on the fridge is honestly not even that good and I would definitely check it on the website. But it pretty much exceeded expectations because it is a very affordable fridge and comes with many different features that I could not be happier with. I would honestly buy it again.

I had one that got hit by lightning and loved it. It ran well and kept everything very cold. I also have a Kenmore stand up freezer that I have had for years and love it. I had to get something at a scratch and dent after lightning strike as needed right away and had limited funds. Will go back to Kenmore just as soon as I upgrade from this one.

Kenmore Elite (cough!) model 795.72182312 2 drawer freezer - We bought this refrigerator in early November 2013, and we took delivery in December. First, water and ice formed on top of freezer drawers. Sears said its because I wasnt opening freezer enough, but it was water leaking from dispenser. Repairman said motor was frozen and that wasnt covered in warranty. Jan 2015, same thing with fridge. Water leaking down front on floor and freezer drawers. Paid $2400 for what? Now another repair call, and limited relief from lawsuit! Sears sucks! I bought my last appliance from them.

It works. The best part is I do not have to think about it like worrying about your car getting a flat tire. The fridge keeps food cold and I DO NOT HAVE TO THINK ABOUT IT. ONE ISSUE IS the plastic drawers did crack after a while so they get stuck. That is only problem.

This refrigerator stays pretty cool. The handle doesnt get dirty fast and nice and steady when opening the door to the fridge. The freezer is pretty spacious for this size fridge and is easy to clean and wipe down. It offers enough shelving in the fridge and storage space. I like the built in shelves in the fridge door and also the built in shelving that the freezer has in the door as well. The fridge doesnt look cheaply made. I like how the fridge has a shine and the surface is very easy to wipe down and keep looking nice and clean and brand new. The value of this refrigerator is reasonable and affordable. I would recommend this refrigerator to anyone who is not trying to spend too much money but want a good quality fridge.

Our 3 year old refrigerator stopped working 29 days ago. It has been a nightmare trying to get an appointment and order the part. When I first called they tried to hard sell me on the extended warranty. I refused the warranty because the part is covered under a 10 year warranty. Now every time I call I’m told that the order is “in process” and I will be contacted in 3-5 business days. It has been a month without a refrigerator. This is absolutely unacceptable. I am feeding a family of four with a mini fridge, that we had to purchase on top of the food we lost when the fridge stopped working and the local repairman we had come out who charged us but couldn’t work on it because it’s under warranty, and then we had to pay the Sears technician for coming out. I could handle most of this except that I have been given zero information as to how long this will really take and am getting to the point where I feel like it could be months until this is fixed, if ever! We purchased Kenmore based on their high quality and reliability. The quality is terrible and the customer service is terrible. So many time I have been told that the part was on its way only for it to not arrive and then we lose our appointment and still don’t have a working fridge! I can’t get through to anyone that is helpful. I don’t know what to do, but I do know I will NEVER purchase a Kenmore or anything from Sears ever again.

13 months after purchasing this expensive refrigerator and 1 month after the warranty ran out, the entire computer circuitry has to be replaced. Oh, and the ice maker has yet to work correctly. So, Sears answer? Buy a $279 warranty and well come out on February 10, 2014 to fix your refrigerator. If it costs more than $500 to fix, I have to pay the difference. Unbelievable!

Happy with the Kenmore. I use it for a garage fridge and am quite happy with it. Works great and gets the job done as far as my needs go. It had lots of space on the inside but not too big so not get in the way and make kitchen look cluttered. Got real cold and kept food cool. Ladder door, storage, interior lighting glass, shelves, freezless and stylish with a modern look. Couldnt really ask for more, just store I bought it from would have had it black and not just white. Would recommend to anyone if looking for a good price and good fridge.

My mom used to have one. She said the fridge worked for at least 10 years. It was my childhood fridge. It has gone through a lot during those years. It has gone through an earthquake, several power outages. It has been fixed several times but usually it wouldnt break down usually for several years at a time. It was beige in color. It had a freezer on the top and a nice roomy fridge.

I have always had great experience with Kenmore. Great quality for a great price. Highly recommend! Always has lots of storage and open spaces for all your fridge needs. Also has a lot of different varieties for different people. There isnt just one choice to choose from and I really like that. I like the fact that you can have the ice and water maker or you dont have to have that feature.

We purchased a Kenmore Elite 30CF bottom freezer refrigerator in October 2014. We thought we were buying top of the line for many years of peace of mind. By March that refrigerator had so many problems and 6 repairs. Kenmore agreed to send a replacement in April 2015. It is now September 2015 and the second replacement refrigerator has had 4 repairs. Kenmore will not even offer an extended warranty to stand behind their product and my $3,000. Yesterday the refrigerator was repaired again. Well see how long it lasts. All Kenmore says is that the replacement in April comes with a new 1-year warranty and to contact Sears to purchase an extended warranty. Like I want to invest more money into this piece of crap? Ill start saving that money towards its replacement which will likely be in a few short years, if that. This purchase has been such a nightmare. I do not plan on buying from Sears or Kenmore ever again in the future.

My Kenmore refrigerator was extremely dependable. I had it for over ten years and only had to replace the thermostat once and I did that myself in a short amount of time. It operated smoothly with no other problems. Easy to clean with mild soap. Adjustable shelves made it easy to adjust for taller items. Crispers kept fresh foods from getting too cold. Overall this was probably the best refrigerator I ever owned.

I cannot express how dissatisfied I am with my Kenmore refrigerator and Kenmore as a company. At 13 months the control board and door seals needed to be replaced. At 15 months insulation parts had to be replaced. At 17 months drain lines had to be replaced as well as door seals again! I emailed Kenmore 4 times and NEVER got a response. This is the French door refrigerator with the extra drawer in the center. I bought it because of the Kenmore name and the large cubic footage (28+). This will be the last Kenmore product I ever buy!

My parents bought Kenmore from Sears so when I needed a fridge I went to Sears and bought the same name brand. It was really the main brand that Sears sold so that is where they took me. It was a good fridge for the price. The fridge looked good and the exterior was easy to keep clean. It was durable, lasted a very long time and took a beating and managed to look good. Moreover, I liked the removable shelves for easy cleaning. However, the main shelves were not easy to remove or change. When something spilled in inside, it would often go down the back where I could not see it and pool underneath the crisper containers. In addition, some of the larger items did not fit well in the fridge.

We have basic Kenmore refrigerators with no water connections and a self-defrosting top freezer. It performs very well, spacious and for all the years we had it, there has been no service calls.

It was very interesting and it caught my eye and it was a very affordable price to pay and I thought it was perfect for my household. It has different colors, has spill trays and fits almost anywhere. Theres also mini fridges and ice and water dispenser. It’s tall, stainless-steel, had a lot of space and a perfect fit. It helps with easy tasks and its very easy to clean which is the most amazing thing that I likes from it. But a thing I would change would probably be a bigger freezer perhaps.

My wife and I bought a Kenmore model number 106.51762510 COLDSPOT. We paid approx. $1000.00 for this model. Just before the 1 year warranty expired, one month to be exact. The refrigerator began freezing up and freezing everything in the crisper. Just a thick wall of ice. I got a service scheduled and a repair man accessed the problem and ordered over $1100.00 in parts. That was more than we paid for the unit. Well, parts began to arrive slowly over a weeks time and a different service man showed up to work on it. Well he fixed it, and it worked great for 1 year. Now it has the same problem. But before he left, he handed me a thermistor and said, here you go if it ever happens again, change this out, which was a nice gesture, but it made me wonder how much quality was in the parts he serviced.So here I set thawing out my unit to change this part (5-16-20). I hope it will fix it, because weve called every appliance dealers we knew of, and it would take over a week to get one in, and during this COVID-19 outbreak, they will just deliver to your door and will not being it into your house. So with a wife thats getting foot surgery this week, and a shoulder surgery in the near future, Im screwed. I have no one to help. My mother and father bought a Kenmore chest freezer in 1964, and are still using it today. But as for me, no more Kenmores and maybe no Whirlpools either. Since it was made by them. All the parts that showed up said Whirlpool on the box. Enuff...

The overall quietness of it is great. Cant even tell its on. And it keep every compartment cooled/chilled just to what the setting is set at. I love it! It has such great storage and adjustable drawers and shelves. I couldnt ask any more from such a great unit! Please never change how well you make this fridge. It is a very sleek design and well polished looking. I love the stainless steel look to it! Never change how you do what you do. Its perfect in every way. As prices though, it could always be lower. The more money saved is always something the customer would like to have. Plus it leaves more money to spend on other things.

There was plenty of space in the refrigerator and freezer compartments. It kept everything cool and has adjustable settings. I love the side by side design. It fit everything pretty nicely. Had to stack in the freezer. There were just the right amount of drawers and shelves in this model. They are adjustable. I love the stainless steel. It is very easy to clean. It wipes down easily. It fit very nicely in the space provided for the fridge in our kitchen. It was a very affordable appliance. It seems that this item will last us a very good while. We absolutely love the Kenmore refrigerator. I would recommend this purchase to anyone.

It was a very good refrigerator. It always outdid all the rest. Never had a problem with it. Never had to have it serviced. It was gold and went with my kitchen very well. I had it for over 5 years. Still works as good as the day I got it. It is the only. Brand I buy. My wife loves it and cant give it up. Its gone through 3 kids and a dog. Still looks great. If you need a refrigerator I would recommend Kenmore. They last forever.

It keeps the food cold but its my first side by side refrigerator and I would never buy a side by side refrigerator again. I do not like side by side. It is small but its just me in the house so the size is ok. The freezer side is too narrow so larger items like turkeys dont fit in the freezer. I perceive the value to be valuable enough. I dont remember what I paid for it but I dont recall it being pricey.

My mother purchased the Kenmore refrigerator/freezer model #253.7060. After only 2 1/2 years of ownership, the compressor stopped working. The repairman said it be $666 to replace it, repair was not an option. Thats the price of a new fridge! This is a poor product. I would not recommend its purchase.

This Kenmore refrigerator was on sale and I needed it. I bought it because it was cheap and it was the one I could afford. But it was overpriced even on sale. I dislike the general aesthetic though. Its plain ugly, its like a box. The magnets fall off easy. Moreover, the light burnt out as soon as I got it home. On the other hand, ice maker and door handle works really well. Freezer keeps the ice cold and refrigerator keeps beer cold and food fresh and cold. ;) But sometimes it freezes everything on the top shelf.

The Kenmore refrigerator was a name brand and on sale plus it came with a nice warranty and the store had it in stock so I was able to have it delivered the very next day. However, the delivery person was not here during the window they advised. Although I like the color of the fridge, it would be nice in some nonstandard colors. Also, the white color is easily damaged by magnets which everyone uses. Nevertheless, the Kenmore Refrigerator is sturdy, reliable, nice looking and easy to clean. It fits nice into a precut out spot for my refrigerator.

I bought my refrigerator a few months ago and I absolutely love it! Its very spacious and keeps everything fresh and cold. The glass shelves make it easy to wipe out and keep clean. I love my refrigerator. It is big enough just for what I need and it is clean and simple looking, keeps my stuff fresh and crisp for a long time and my freezer cold for a long time. It has not crapped out on me yet and hopefully wont. I just wish they had different colors. I havent seen a black one yet in my model. But I am pleased with the model that I have and would not change it unless it stops working.

It keeps the item at a good cooling level. There is no freezer burns, no freezing in the food section. The fruits and vegetables stay fresh for a long time. Doesnt use a lot of electricity and it is user friendly. The size is perfect for my family and I. The egg compartment is big enough for at least 2 dozen eggs. The vegetables and fruits are packed safely without squeezing. The color fits with every other appliance in my kitchen. It is easily clean and no smudges. It is white so I can paint my kitchen walls any color and it still fits. The value is outstanding. It is inexpensive and it works. I would recommend this brand because it has everything and more to be the pride refrigerator in any kitchen.

I love my refrigerator and its really roomy and keeps things really cold and Ive never had to service. I like the styling and it also cleans easily. I have a family of 4 and have plenty of room to store everything I need to. I can also buy extra food to store. I like that I dont have to use an extra freezer to stock up. Its clean and sleek and easy to locate what I need. Its also easy to clean inside and out. The doors are easy to use even for smaller kids. I think its a great value because it holds a lot of food is easy to store food and keeps items the right temp and Ive never had to service.

If it work I like it. I like my food cold and my beer cold and more. It got 2 door. It make ice. It get really cold. It look nice. I get a drink from it. It nice when you need a cold drink. My refrigerator is white and has two black handles. It is modern looking and cleans very well. The space is large and holds quite a bit of food. It has clear glass shelves and two crispers. Since I bought it used, the value is probably about $300 on the market. But it works as well or better than a brand new one. To me it is more valuable than buying a new one which may not work as well.

I just needed a new refrigerator to keep my food cold and fresh that is inexpensive but effective. The Kenmore ref did everything it was supposed to. It was roomy and I could fit all my groceries in it. It kept the food and the drinks cold and made ice fairly fast.

Kenmore side-by-side refrigerator model #795-5102 - I purchased this refrigerator in October 2010. I just now noticed that a crack in the inside wall going from the back of the freezer to the front. I was told that I could get a $500 credit if it was decided that it was a workmanship defect. The refrigerator is like in a new condition. Im very angry and dissatisfied with Sears. The refrigerator cost over $1000. What do they think $500 will do for a new fridge? My last fridge lasted me over 10 years, not less than 2. No remedy to this. Sears is not what they used to be. I will never buy anything from them again.

In 2011, I purchased a Kenmore side-by-side refrigerator (stock #46-54789) from Sears, for my elderly parents. The ice maker and dispenser are extremely poorly designed. Ice chucks drop inside the unit on its own; shaved and crushed ice falls to the floor, outside the unit each time used, causing my 77-year-old mother to wipe hardwood floors each time the ice maker is used. Chute appears to be too short, was not designed to have ice go directly into a glass/cup, therefore ice dispenses everywhere outside the glass, on to floor, well of unit, and shoots sometimes on to countertop across of unit. The Sears repairman says there is nothing they can do.

Its an excellent refrigerator hold its temperature perfectly. Its dependable. Everything works well except for the ice maker. They never last. I dont know why, but they dont. Its a perfect size, has room for everything. The shelves pull out so you can reach items in the back. The door is large enough to hold one-gallon containers and several items. Has lots of shelving and drawers freezer space. The appearance is very appealing to the eye, very clean, has a wonderful ice and water feature. Very accessible that you do not have to open the doors to get to which saves on energy. I have had my refrigerator for several years and was happy with the value at time of purchase. I would highly recommend and Im happy with it overall value.

This refrigerator performs well on both side. That includes the exterior dispensers. Have enjoyed this fridge and will continue with this line. Highly recommend. The refrigerators size is great. I have a family of five and we are able to fit all of our items in nicely. Could always use more space though. Very sleek looking refrigerator. Love the colors and shine. So far my refrigerator has been very reliable. It keeps my food cold and frozen and fresh. I have never had an issue. The only thing I would not buy is a side by side. The freezer is just not big enough for a family size. If single then would be great. My next purchase will be another Kenmore but freezer on bottom to have more space.

It is one of the very best refrigerators Ive ever had the pleasure of having in my home. Id never buy any other brand. I cant imagine not having a Kenmore in my kitchen. It holds a months worth of groceries in my home easily, and I have a family of four with two growing teenage boys. So, that says a lot considering how much food they alone can consume in thirty days. Its chrome finish, molds into our kitchens, modern look very well and makes easily kept clean. It is the one appliance that ties of whole decor together in our kitchen. I place the value of all my Kenmore alliances, in which I have five in my home, to be priceless and wouldnt sell any off them for the world. However, of all five this refrigerator is the one I hold most dear to my heart.

It does what its supposed to do and has for over 20 years. Theres really nothing else to say. It does what a refrigerator is supposed to do at a very reasonable original cost. What they cost today I have no idea. Have not checked prices any time recently. Have not had the need to.

Sears appliances are always a good value. Their brand name is just as good as Whirlpool. They have a big assortment of models. I have bought many items from Sears.

I have had my refrigerator for about 15 years now. It is a very good refrigerator and has lasted this long. I will have to replace it soon because it is wearing out. I have never got it fixed since I had it. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants something that will last a long time.

We bought this fridge new at a scratch and dent appliance center. It was delivered on September 23 and by January 7 it stopped working efficiently after 115 days. The service tech says it is a bad/leaking evaporator, so we are awaiting news of what will happen next. A Major inconvenience to say the least. We have gone to the dealer once already today and will need to return to negotiate what happens next. The warranty was only for 90 days, so hopefully we can work something out.

Kenmore was the cheapest when comparing it to other brands that had the same features. Kenmore is a trusted brand and this fridge was on sale. I was more concerned with the price and the value than what specific features it has. I like the features and the space in this refrigerator. There is plenty of space especially in the freezer which is great for my needs. But I wish it had sturdier shelving units and maybe it coming in different colors.

Has 2 compartment drawers and is very roomy. Im able to put all my leftovers and everything in there. My fridge is very pretty. All black – my favorite color for the kitchen. Ice machine makes either crushed or cubed ice. Lights up at night. Very recommended. Nice and very quiet. Always does everything I ask. I love my fridge. Im glad I spent my money on it. The refrigerator is plain with no water device on the front. Its just the right size for a small family or empty nesters. Its also sturdy looking. The price of this refrigerator is great. Its the basic model so it doesnt cost as much as the fancy models. If you compare prices then you will see Kenmore is the brand to buy.

My Kenmore Refrigerator is small and white with a freezer on top and a fridge on the bottom. Its an apartment size refrigerator but fits one month worth of groceries. Ive had it for for 9 years and and it runs every day. It is very well made and uses less electricity. Its easy to clean and perfect for one person.

My husband and myself are retired. Have no children in our home. We purchase a stainless steel refrigerator in 2014. We have had to replace the handle on the refrigerator 3 times - it breaks in the same spot and the top. The repair man has come out and replaced it each time. But today it broke again. This is 4 times now 2/9/15. How many more times will this happen? There must be a defect in the handle or the door. Need answers to this problem. The model is Kenmore model 1066215311. This model and similar line of models is satisfactory for small families - 2 adults and young minor children who likely will need assistance in accessing food storage. The refrigerator is plain, basic appliance, white. No particular special finish and sparkle; it does what its suppose to do. Door handles are pouched in doors; cheaper to manufacture, less materials, and also give a cleaner, more modern design than those bulky handles sticking out from door frame. I bought it because it was convenient and priced right for my spending plan. Its reasonably priced at Sears. But like everything, NOT MADE IN AMERICA components and not sure about the final assembly point. You get what you pay for... Cheap labor in Mexico helps keep down price; thats good for consumer. For price difference in moving up to larger model, better off to buy a cheap stand alone freezer. Its often sold at Wal-Mart and works well enough to cover storage times like the holidays - rather than work that freezer half-full. Of course if you have a family of growing teens, youd probably be better moving up to larger capacity to meet your food storage needs.

I choose to go with Kenmore because the brand was a name I recognized as being around for a while and it was a price I could afford. My previous refrigerator was a lesser known brand and I had a lot of problems with it. I like the Kenmore refs size. It has a milk/gallon-sized spot on the door which is my favorite feature. No digging through to get to the milk. I also like the adjustable shelves! I wish the bars on the shelves of the door was a little sturdier though. Kids broke one the first week. They seem to break easily but that is true with most refrigerators. Also, I miss the holder for cans my previous refrigerator had. Overall, Im totally and completely satisfied with this refrigerator! But Im totally and completely satisfied with this refrigerator!

This is a side by side fridge, freezer with a water and ice dispenser. I have not had any issues with this fridge, and this fridge is about 11 years old. The water filter has never been changed, and the water is great tasting. I would recommend this fridge to anyone.

I Bought our Kenmore Elite/LG made refrigerator in June of 2016 and in July 2019 the compressor died after our warranty expired. Food in the freezer was completely thawed and the refrigerator food was warm. We are so disappointed in the product after spending $2,500. By the time the repairman showed up, order the parts and installation I will be without a refrigerator for 23 days. The repairman even told me that I will probably have to do this again in 2 to 3 years because they are replacing them with the same compressor with the same issue. I would not have expected this to happen in just 3 years. Im very disappointed and would never buy another again.

My Kenmore Refrigerator was a floor model and it was on sale. The refrigerator is spacious and works to its capacity. The shelves can be adjusted. It had an overhead freezer and ice making machine. It fits in the wall space and it only stopped functioning once in four years. However, the bottom gaskets keep breaking and the freezer ices over sometimes. Also, I would make an extra meat compartment and would put a bigger thermometer in the back of the refrigerator so I can read it. Nevertheless, I am very pleased with the Kenmore refrigerator and it has met my initial expectations.

I have a side by side. Refrigerator section is small for larger items. Next refrigerator is going to lower freezer section with the refrigerator on the top. We would really like the refrigerator section to be large enough to put pizza boxes etc. in.

Kenmore French Door Bottom Freezer Model 253.7031 Purchased 12/12. Warranty up 12/15. Bought Home warranty this month 8/16. This has been a very poor appliance. Had it just a few months and ice maker quit. Tech came out and did a workaround to get it to run. Has always been noisy and didnt cool as it should. Warranty on fridge up six months ago. Called due to a leaking problem. Sears sold me home warranty. First 30 days will only pay out $500.00. Tech came out and said that it was structural and could not be fixed. No insulation in the back. No wonder it was noisy. Sears is not backing it other than $500.00. This is a sealed component and should be covered for a longer period of time. I spent close to $2000.00 for this fridge. I want the $500.00 to go somewhere else to purchase and they refuse. Why would I purchase from them again? Sears no wonder you are going under. Poor quality appliances. I called in and was transferred to four different numbers. You need to work on the customer service. I do give them credit that every person I spoke to knew this was a problem with the fridge.

Me and my wife decided to upgrade to the best refrigerator on the market we thought!!! So we gave our 10 year old Kenmore refrigerator to a friend of ours to upgrade to Kenmore Elite refrigerator! The first year we had it the ice maker had to be repaired then a few months later it frosted up and that had to be repaired!!! Now just over two years old the compressor has gone out! We have been without a refrigerator going on two month! Have had two service calls and it is still not repaired! I Dont know what to do. I thought a refrigerator was a long lasting appliance! Not to have to replace every other year! This Refrigerator is a Lemon!!! Help!!!

To me it is an older but regular refrigerator. I have had it 5 years and it was used when I got it and I have never had a problem with it. I would like a larger freezer section. There is not enough room for all my tv dinners, smart ones, frozen pizzas, ice cream and ice cube trays too. It is all white with the opening bars on the right side. Nothing to complain about for me. If I was buying new I think I would probably go for a colored one - bronze, tan, light blue. Value has been great for me.
