We purchased the Kenmore water/energy efficient washer and we wash on either room temperature or warm water. Laundry most of the time come out not as expected with unclean chocolate stains as an example. Also, we were told by Kenmore that we have to run the express cycle (Very hot water) with vinegar in the detergent pocket to remove residual detergent and to improve the washer ability to clean even normal day to day stains. We are not happy with our purchase. Another aspect that made us unhappy is the annual PM included in a 5 year warranty (paid extra) that often the subcontractor is sending washer-untrained technicians to perform the PM.

I signed up for ConsumerAffairs to be able to ventilate my frustration about this washing machine. There is nothing wrong with the mechanics of this machine. It turns the front loading drum, like it should, adds water, removes water, etc. But the program-cycles it offers make the whole washing affair completely idiotic. All the cycles are way too short for good cleaning. (None takes longer than 1/2 hour.) Also, there is no cycle without a final spin option. I come from Europe where eco machines turn slow and long, in order to enable good soaking and cleaning. I have to add programs cycles in order to get anything clean with this machine. Meanwhile I cannot put off the spin session, so I end up using a lot of energy to get my wash done with this machine (while ruining my clothes with the spinning). My husband ordered this machine after thoroughly reading consumers reports. Makes no sense to me.

This is an HE, top loader, without agitator machine. It has no presoak cycle and I miss having one. Additionally it has no softener dispenser. It came with a softener ball which got lost with the passing of time. Had I more shopping time I would have not purchased this machine. On a positive note, it has been reliable and in ten years has had only one repair.

I have had this washer for over 10 years and have never had a problem with it. I would buy this brand again and I would recommend it to anyone who needs a washer. The washer fits all my needs. I like that you can pick the size of the load of clothes that you are going to wash and they always come out clean. This washer looks very nice but it is a plain white. I wish that the Kenmore washer like this brand came in colors like the more expensive ones. This washer was well worth what I paid for it and if it broke down tomorrow it would not owe me a cent.

Good appliance, easy to manage and very fast. Made me like doing my laundry, especially because Im a student and I really needed a good washing machine to get away from having to use laundromat. If youre thinking about buying one, just do it, it works! Very reliable, never had a problem with this machine. Super great washer, definitely one you can count on. As a college student I could not ask for a better washing machine when I come home to do my laundry.

Kenmore 600s is garbage. Would give zero stars if I could. This washer twists your clothes so bad they are stretched and ruined. I’ve tried all the scenarios given by Kenmore and same thing. If you do a deep fill it will cut down on twist but clothes don’t agitate and come out just as dirty as they went in but now just wet. Deep fill negates the water saving feature claimed by kenmore. If you run a normal wash with same clothes, 10 tee shirts, the shirts on the top just sit there and don’t agitate through the wash. Then I was told that’s too big a load. Really??!! So I can only wash 5 tee shirts at a time, at 1hr intervals, to keep from twisting and get them washed with the water saving feature you advertise?? To date I’m out over $400 in clothes due to twisting and the extravagant price for a defective product. It’s out of warranty and kenmore won’t help. Have had it over two years and I’m done. Goodbye Kenmore, you have lost this customer for life. Your product is getting sent to metal scrap because I won’t even donate this problem to another victim.

It was quiet and took a nice load size. 2 pod Max and cleans well. No leaking and it doesnt rumble when spin cycle is running. You can put items in machine, easy settings, and relax. The hoses didnt break or leak. The machine didnt rust or break down either. I did not need to service it or call for a repair. I only replaced it because I wanted a newer model machine. Not too big where I couldnt fit it in my place. It was easy to move around from one location to another. It is nice-looking and you can watch your clothes if you want to. I dont know about now but it was pretty good for the money when I had it. I got plenty of use out of it, and I can say that I definitely got my moneys worth considering the time.

I have model #11026132411 and when I wash my dark clothes they come out with white stains on them that are impossible to clean unless I wash my clothes in my daughters Whirlpool machine. I tried cleaning the machine, but that doesnt help!!! I am so frustrated... Another problem with this machine is that you cant modulate the water level. I am VERY disappointed in this machine. I bought a Kenmore because of Sears reputation.

I purchased both in 2004. Ive only had two problems, both with the washing machine. 5 years ago, the washing machine would not move after fill up. I called Sears to repair it. They came the same day, has not happened again, but I did have a different situation of the Washer not working this summer. After the wash cycle, the spin cycle wasnt working. In fact the water didnt drain. With limited funds, I looked into doing it myself. Thanks to a YouTube video, I found it to be a common problem. I knew the part I needed, and was able to get it from Amazon. I got the part, fixed the washer, following each direction on the video, and was successful in repairing my washing machine.

Works good to clean clothes fast for the man on the go like myself and that is what counts the most. Particularly I can indeed fit all of my needed items and have a small space left over most of the time. Sometimes I cant have all the space I need for super large loads but most my loads to all fit in one load. Description of appearance white in color. Do not care about how it looks much though its simple quick and it gets the job done bottom line. Works great. Top dime for the dollar if you choose this brand. You dont holler for more. Top of the line. Made strong to last you long. Keeps going. Dont follow.

I like Kenmore because it seems to be the best long-term appliance. Service on them I have been able to do myself cause simply to disassemble and online how-to sites. I have had my clothes get cleaner than any laundromat big washers have done with my Kenmore. I would not buy any other brand.

My other washer broke. Checked reviews and found this. So glad I did. Real quiet and has great settings. The review was right. I dont mind laundry day now. It has enough space for a good size load. The towels I still keep in a separate load habit but its big enough to include some with others. Would be nice if they came in different colors but controls dont stand out and it fit easily in the door. A nice blue would be nice. Good value. I shopped around to about 3 different stores. Asking about price matching does help if its not in stock where the price is lowest.

It was on sale for an amazing price. Ive had it for a few years now still works the same after a few years. Its very easy to clean. I can do a whole weeks worth of my clothes in it. It looks amazing in my laundry room. It is stainless steel. I would definitely recommend it. I love stainless steel because it looks elegant.

Its amaze balls - its fast which is great because you cant beat a fast washing/drying system when youre on a hectic schedule like most moms with multiple kids! I am able to wash big comforters that is previously have to use our local laundromat for. I can fit everyones jeans & towel in 1 load and not worry about breaking the machine. Its just so sleek & modern. I love it - versus the old clunky models of the past. Its definitely appealing to the eye & my friends & famous lay comment on it regularly. Well worth the money. We purchased a Kenmore top-loading high efficiency clothes washing machine June 2013 in order to be more eco-friendly and save on the amount of water used. Although I always use the extra rinse to make sure any detergent is washed away, there has often been a white residue deposited on dark clothes. I use the HE All detergent. Over the plus year-and-a-half there has never been a problem with mold because I always leave the lid up and also sponge away any liquid left in the dispensing cups. What can I do about this white residue left on my dark clothes?

Its very efficient and dries all clothes and towels very well. I dont have to restart it for a full load to dry all the way. Works very well. We purchased it a while ago and its still working very well. Easy to install and it for well in our area downstairs to wash the clothes and towels and blankets. Purchased $779 Kenmore Elite Washer model #29272000 in April 2011. In April 2013 sent a letter directly to Sears to complain about the rust all around the bleach dispenser. Did not receive any response. Now, a year later, the rust is far worse. I know from reading online comments, this has been a problem for years and Sears didnt figure out how to stop it and continued to sell this faulty product. The problems with this machine do not end with the rust. We suffer daily with the brutal wash cycle that ruins clothes, does not wash jeans and blankets without the UE error requiring constant adjustment to get the loads done, and bleach residue dispensing when you dont want it to so darks are spotted with white spots.It is bothersome that this expensive appliance is such a sad example of Kenmore and the fact that even though they knew it was a mess, it still was sold for years without correcting any of the problems. I was a faithful Sears consumer and yet now have no interest in a future dealing with them. I want a washer that doesnt harm my clothes AND isnt rusting after only a few years.

We purchased a Kenmore Elite HE4T front load washer in the Fall of 2005. For the first three years, the Sears service tech repaired the code problem by replacing door lock twice. They replaced the computer once. After expiration of warranty, I had the same problem (F11 door lock failure) and had the service tech replace 2 door locks and 2 computers - on my dime. Just this week, I have the same code problem. I found out if I turned off the washer and waited one hour and restarted the wash, it worked as advertised. I am angry that I cannot receive any help from Kenmore or Sears without paying for service. Kenmore should be responsible in repairing this chronic problem.

The front load washing machine is hard to keep clean. Lint and other debris gets trapped in the door seal and smells. Even though the door is wiped every time and the magnet is used (so the door doesn’t close fully) it still stinks. My towels always smell sour once they get wet again. I don’t think this is a Kenmore issue. I think it’s front loaders in general. My next washer will not be a front loader.

They always work well and will run forever. Easy to get parts and to have repaired. Very economical to run and the clothes are clean. I would recommend them and would purchase another one in a heartbeat. Great appliance. I have owned 2 and they have always worked well and lasted a long time. My clothes are always clean and smell fresh. Local company, made in America. Sears carries parts and will service them.

Washes clothes well and is easy to operate. Doesnt go off balance as easily as some of the other washers I have had in the past and is relatively quiet. Washer can fit quite a bit into it. I wash my childrens bed sheets and pillow cases in them without a problem (I do however bring our comforters to a laundromat for the extra large washers.) My washer is a nice bright white color and has a clean elegant but not too fancy look to it. Doesnt have a ton of buttons or options to confuse you with. Its easy to operate, even my children can run the washer which is always a plus! I shopped around for the best value around my local shops. I found this washer, read some online reviews on it. This was within my budget and Im very happy with my choice so far.

I have had bad experiences with Whirlpool washers in the past. Less than five years ago, we decided to purchase a new washer since our two-year old Whirlpool washer was giving us endless problems. We purchased a Kenmore Elite from Sears. We did not know that our washer was actually a Whirlpool washer. We have started with the same problems with this washer as we did with our Whirlpool washer. I just learned that our machine was actually manufactured by Whirlpool. I was told by Kenmore that other Kenmore Elite washing machines were recalled with the same problem, but does not include my model.I was transferred to so many different places, including Maytag (why Maytag?) to try to resolve my problem. If my machine is having the same problem as those other models that were recalled, there is a great chance that mine should be included in the recall. I never got to speak to the right department. The repair is costing me half of what I would have to pay for a new one. Now, I dont know where to go to get a reliable washing machine. I thought that paying a descent amount was going to give me a descent working machine. I believe that disclosing the manufacturer on appliances should be required because not everything that shines is gold. A reliable brand on the outside is not always what you get on the inside!

We were given advice by the local sales agent to purchase this top of the line appliance (Kenmore 800 top loading washer) as it was reliable and one of the very few to require frequent repair. As a long and faithful consumer, we expected the appliance to be of solid construction and give us the type of service we came to associate with the Kenmore reliability. Alas, what a downfall. The product has turned into a constant expense in repairing the never-ending problems. As of this day, I have become wary of any product sold by Sears and Kmart due to our problem. We are retired, living on a fixed income, and cannot afford the extra expense we have burdened by the misrepresentation of the sales agent. Therefore, we may just start shopping elsewhere for any further purchases. I am saddened by the disappointing drop of quality in any of the Sears and/or Kmart consumer products.

My husband and grandson both work in construction and have very dirty clothes. This machine does not get stains out. I need to always pre-wash and do extra rinse. This is not energy or water saving! I have allergies and use the free & clear types of HE detergent, but still need to do an extra rinse. We also have mildew problems even though I follow the directions for cleaning the machine. We purchased the Kenmore Elite Dishwasher, 2 days after the warranty expired, the whole top rack stopped working, needed a technician to come out and charged us another $200 in parts plus the $59 service fee. 6 months later, there is water leaking all over the floor... the motor pump! Been trying to get someone out, they are happy to charge me for an extended warranty that is $222.99 that only covers up to $500 in parts. Have been on hold for over 1hour 43 minutes, been transferred a million times and hung up on twice when asked to speak to a manager. WORST decision ever!!! Sears is the such a joke, will never buy anything form them again. Kenmore is a piece of junk!!! Couldnt be more disappointed!!! Save yourself and your wallet the agony and RUN out of the doors of Sears.

Ive had my Kenmore for more than 15 years and it still works great! Ive never had any issues with it and I would have highly recommend this washer to my friends and family. I think that the washer is a very good one even compared to the others on the market. It has good speed and quality and is not difficult to set up. I think that it is a very reliable washer. It has never broke on us and weve had it for 3 years. It has never malfunctioned or slowed down or overflowed etc. I would definitely recommend it to others. I will NEVER purchase nor will I recommend Kenmore Elite Stainless Steel appliances. First, the only stainless steel which exists is in the handles on all appliances, everything else is cheap metal. I bought in 2016 the Side-by-Side (both doors developed rust spots within one month), Dishwasher (outside door) developed rust spots, Microwave/Oven combo (both doors) developed rust spots, and Gourmet Hood, which developed rust spots and the lights no longer work. All I did was use the cleaner, which came with the appliances. I built a brand new house and everything within one month had rust. I called Sears, well, guess what, I was over my 30 days so NO WARRANTY on the rust. I called the store and Were sorry to hear that. No discount on my full purchase price either. My husband, who is a builder, said they are more than likely storing the appliances in a damp warehouse and its cheap metal, as steel doesnt rust. In the past, I purchased GE Profile and no problems. Here I have a new house with old looking appliances.

I purchased my Kenmore front load washer in 2009. All was good until I need it fixed! A technician came out and told me what was wrong...and charged me for that visit! Now a part is on back order and has been for OVER 2 MONTHS!!! This is ridiculous! Sears repair service sucks! This is the first time ever in my 67 years life have commented or wrote a review about any product. Kenmore 600 series, triple action, top load washing machine is the worst washing machine I have ever used. It wastes water, detergent, electricity and your time; and you will wind up taking your laundry to commercial washing places after all. It does not have an option for small load water level; Even if you are planning to wash a very small load.After my faithful washing machine broke down after 25 years, I purchased this Kenmore washing Machine. This machine takes a long time to wash clothes (basically just wet the clothes not wash). After I work around the yard every 2 or 3 days I wash my work clothes (3-4 pants and 6 or 7 shirts and socks). I wash them with heavy duty, power wash and 2 rinses. It takes 1 hour 21 minutes. After all, that noise, filling and refilling water, wasting the detergents, the garden soil on my pants knees are still there. I can smear the dirt away with my fingers. Clothes are as dirty as you put them in. Except they are all wet. My wife is so mad for after spending close to $700.00 she has to make a trip to laundromat every week to wash our clothes.

Has good size door for easy loading and unloading. Has good selection of cycles to choose from, though I do not use some of them. I really like the ability to choose water temperature for both washing and rinsing. I have had it for over tens years now and it has never once failed me. I have never had any reason to feel it was not completely reliable. I take for granted that it will work properly every time I use it. I have a white model, which I prefer so, I can easily change the laundry room decor if I wish. It is designed well and has not gotten outdated in its look over the past ten years. This washer was an excellent value for me. It has all the features I wanted and more at a more reasonable price than many of the other products I looked at. I did a lot of shopping around and price comparison.

It really gets those tough stains out with detergents. The power of the water is really amazing. It does its job amazing and cant describe how I get excited to do my laundry each week. It can fit a lot of clothes inside the washer and it somehow cleans every single one! It can run for a long time and the job gets done. I use the warm water and it usually works! Its not an ugly washer like the coin laundry ones. This one works like a charm while looking really good. You can see the cycle and the way this just operates is just a work of beauty! The price isnt that bad. The power of this machine will give you satisfying results. The performance was awesome. It cleaned my clothes really well. It wasnt fancy which made it extremely easy for me to use and to teach my young son how to wash clothes. It was extremely reliable. I never had any issues with it ever. I was able to wash big loads which is a plus for me because I am so busy. The appearance was basic. I prefer the old style appliances compared to the newer ones that are hard to figure out. It was very easy to clean the inside and outside. It is not very pricey and gets the job done easily. It is worth every penny. I would recommend it to anyone who has a tight budget and wants a great product.

Absolute piece of junk. This dumb washer was built WITHOUT a central agitator. Bad, bad idea since the clothes get all jumbled up to one side of the washer. Glad Sears isnt around any more in my town since they sold junk!

The washer works really well. The clothes get very clean and Ive never had any issues with it. I think this washer will last for years and years without issue. This washer is very reliable. I have had it for over 5 years and have never had any issue with it at all. This is a very clean, white, plain looking washer. It will easy fit in with any decor a consumer may have. The buttons are easy to use, and would be good even for people with arthritis. I have gotten more than my moneys worth out of this washer and its still going strong. It is certainly worth the manufacturers asking price.

I bought this washer 6 years ago. It has worked just fine until about 6 months ago. Suddenly, it started taking longer and longer to finish the cycle. Then, occasionally, it wouldnt spin the clothes and I would have to run the separate drain and spin cycle. Then, it suddenly wouldnt even do that. I called Sears. My intention was to find out what it would cost (because it was out of warranty) to replace the brain, including the labor and repair call. Instead of giving me the quote I asked for, she convinced me to buy a 1-year service policy for somewhere around $350.00 explaining that if it was the brain, it would be considerably more than that. Then, came the clincher. If they couldnt repair it, I would be given a voucher toward a new machine. Sign me up! Guess what? Not. They came out and put in a new brain (this took a total of 4 weeks), then 2 weeks later it started the whole cycle again, only quickly this time moving into not spinning at all. I called for another repair order. They couldnt get me in for another week and a half. In the meantime, I kept working with the washer trying different cycles and stuff until I got it working again. Guess what? Now, since it wont malfunction in front of them, they have deemed it my fault! According to them, its because Im running unbalanced loads and using too much soap! After 6 years of successfully using this machine, apparently, Ive lost my mind! I am so frustrated I could spit! So, my solution is that I will call them each and every time it fails, and make them come out until my 1 year is up. Then, I will buy a new machine and it will not be from Sears! Im closing my account with them and after 30 years of being a customer, Im done!

I have always used Kenmore. Has always been a dependable, quality product with excellent customer service. This specific washer has never given me one single problem. Not to mention great, efficient customer service. Looking to upgrade to a front loader next!! Perfect size, surface has stayed unscathed with our often brutal wash sessions. Nothing too fancy as far as controls but that helps with teens using the washer. Value is excellent. Kenmore has always produced a quality product for a good price. Less is more in this case. Would purchase again.

We have a 2-year old Kenmore Series 700 Washer. On December 12th the hose on the rear of the machine failed due to corrosion. Our home was flooded. The hose was replaced and failed again in 3 weeks due to corrosion or some chemical reaction. We had our house re-grounded by an electrical company. Two weeks later the same result. We need technical help so that we do not have another $100,000 insurance claim.

Good, reliable machine. It cleans my clothes, and there is the ability to wash differently size loads. I have a choice of water temperatures, activity of washer and length of was washing time. It is a very excellent machine.

Do not purchase this Kenmore Elite washer. The washer constantly stops due to uneven loads. Customer service is worse than the washer. Saw several reviews where its obviously a problem and have even had recalls on several models, but more concerned about selling home warranty than fixing the problem. Dryer is great though.

Our Kenmore Elite Dishwasher purchased from Sears is less than 3 years old. Since the very beginning the door was very hard to open putting significant pressure on the flimsy plastic panel above the latch. It started to crack a year ago so we were very careful. However this week the plastic panel and latch just crumbled in our hands. Use of the machine is fairly low since there are only two people in the household. Seems unreasonable to pay for repair given such poor design.

It never failed us and it did exactly what it was designed to do. It was a very good washer and I never found anything to complain about it. Great reliability, nothing on it ever faltered in its duties as a washer. The only thing that ever happened with one of the water hoses valves started leaking, but that was probably just because I had bought it used so that was on me/previous owner. The appearance was simple and fit well into my washroom. Sleek, simple, easy to follow with your eyes. Goes great with a more modern design washroom. As with anything nowadays things cost a fair bit more than they use to. That being said, though, for the price of a new one with a reasonable lay-a-way plan or something similar for the households that have lower incomes, its a pretty good deal in my view.

For years I always used Kenmore appliances. Several years ago I needed a new washer and strayed from Kenmore after listening to a friend who had purchased another brand. I listened and purchased that washer and had nothing but trouble with it. I got rid of it and went back to my preferred Kenmore washer. Im still using it.

To be able to put in over 5 cubic feet of material in the tub makes it so easy to wash blankets and comforters. So happy with this purchase!

Kenmore Elite Oasis HT Model 11028081700 - I have had to replace the bearings once and it needs them replaced again. It sounds like the washing machine wants to take off like an airplane. Of course, the warranty and extended warranty have expired. Now the clothes dont get as clean and sometimes the rinse cycle leaves the clothes full of soap suds. I always thought Kenmore was a solid product but I will likely never buy another one.

The washer is very easy to use and is extremely efficient. Compared to my previous washer which I had to wash the load twice, this washer gets it clean the first time. The washer is extremely reliable. It is big enough for large loads and it gets the clothes extremely clean in a reasonable amount of time. The washer has a very clean and modern look. Its not the standard white that most washers are. It has some silver and a black tinted lid. The value for this washer was very competitive compared to similar washers. And the store where I bought it had a rebate which made it even a better value.

It was fine, got stains out but I wasnt overly impressed. The unit was also very loud during the spin cycle. The unit seemed to be big enough for weekly washing for my husband and I but I had to break up the loads if my daughters clothes were included. The controls were very easy to read and set, no fancy extra or unneeded options. I liked that it was straightforward and didnt have settings that I would never use, just to appear higher quality. The unit looked fine and did the job it was asked to so I guess it was a good value for the money, although I wouldnt say it was superb quality. You get what you pay for and I was satisfied with the purchase.

For 75 days I have had a Kenmore washer that has not worked properly. I waited one month for a repairman to say it is broken. A month later a repairman came. The part shipped was damaged. A new part arrived a week later. After four hours, they installed the part only to break another one. Now waiting for a repairman this Friday. I cant use my machine at all now. The Helpline says they cant help.

It is currently 2013 and I contacted Sears with my complaint and as usual they said this problem is not covered. To top it off, I had the extended warranty and still no help from Sears. Years ago, I bought a rototiller from Sears and found the transmission was locked up on it once I got it home. Rather than refund my money, they proceeded to put in 3 additional transmissions to no avail. They would not refund my money and today Im stuck with a piece of junk rototiller.

It is the best washing machine I have ever owned. Cycles are done much faster than I ever would have to possible. It easily handles all of my garments, from the bulkiest ones to my most delicate items. This is the most reliable appliance I have ever owned. It is extremely dependable and that is very important to me as I have to do laundry every day. I have never had a problem with its performance and it has never needed one repair. Its physical appearance is absolutely stunning! Its so smooth and sleek. It looks very high tech and like it is of very good quality. It compliments the color scheme in my laundry room perfectly and really brightens up the whole room. This appliance is a very good value. My friends and family, anyone we have over to the house that happens to see it always ask how much I paid for it and are so surprised when I tell them that they ask for more information on it and say they would consider buying one too.

It does not take long to clean what I need to clean. It does not make a lot of noise and is easy to use. I love it. When I bought I was very excited and I most dependently would not buy another washer for a good, good twenty years. It is very, very reliable. I can really count on it to wash every item correctly and in a timely manner every single time I use it. I would never use any brand but this one. It is very, very cute and I love it in my kitchen. Is really good, doesnt damage the cloth, doesnt consume too much water, requires average time to work and the noise is low. It is practical and useful. I am happy and satisfied with the level of reliability because that model of washing machine can make all that I need and expect from a washing machine. The size is really good, of course if you need to wash a lot of clothes probably you need another washer, but in my case this is good for me. Simple and practical. The value of the washer is excellent because the price is good and the performance is great. Represents a great balance if we talk about price and performance.

It is a very nice looking machine. Im not one for a whole lot of bells and whistles on my washing machine and I want it to look sleek, but not over the top. It gives a good drying! It doesnt take really long to finish a load. It is energy efficient and doesnt make noises loudly. Kenmore is a brand to trust. It has a big enough of area to put a huge load in, it doesnt mess up colours, it has a timer to tell you what cycle its on. It has white for the colour, its shiny that you turn the light on you can see it shimmer. It has a huge tub, its the Kenmore brand. Its awesome! I cant remember how much we bought it for. In all honesty it was a good deal for it being a major brand. I recommend getting it because ours last a long time.

I like my washer. It was kind of expensive to me but its worth it because its one of the best kind of washers and last for years - better to get a good one like that. It washes good and spins so good its like the clothes are halfway dry. Rinses long enough for it to smell good and the clothes are really clean. My washer is white with 3 load sizes; temperature hot, cold or warm. The load sizes are good. You can wash heavy blankets with no problem and small load you can do a few things real fast. Its quiet, doesnt make a lot of noise. And it fits in the kitchen good, a place to put fabric softener in it.

My clothes come out clean and the stains are removed. Its easy to use and is fairly quiet. The knobs come off on the unit and sometimes I need to use pliers to turn the handle. Im pleased with how reliable it is. It just happened to be a problem with the handles and knobs that fall off. Its not overused as there are only two people in this house. Its very stylish as washers go. Equally distributed buttons and knobby. Its easy to keep clean and is appealing. Kenmore is really a great brand and I trust it. Out of the whole 5 years that Ive had this particular washer Ive never had to repair it, buy parts for it, is still up to its name Kenmore. Just a regular white washer not too many buttons and knobs but very easy to clean and it worked wonderfully. I loved it. It did not tear up my clothes. Ive had a washing that used to heat my clothes up.

My washing machine was showing UE and was remaining unbalanced during washing. I found the specific recall through their website for this repair. I called 2 1/2 weeks ago. I was told they would be here to fix my machine in 5 days between the hours of 8 a - 4 p. I stayed home from work. I called to check on the arrival of my repair man and was told they would be there the following week. I asked to be moved up, they replied they could not do that. I again stayed home today June 30, the date told to me a week ago. I called at 9:30 am for the arrival time. They said to call back at 10:30 am. I did. They said a technician would be here between 12:30 - 1:30. At 1:45, I called and they said the technician was sick and they cannot reschedule until July 3. We have five children getting ready to leave for camp and no washing machine! I have taken two days off work and I am beyond frustrated. I will never purchase a Kenmore or Sears product again. I would encourage others to purchase appliances from another company as well.

The machine worked well, fairly quiet, nice rack system, adjustable wheels for after choosing a new tile, easy to clean and hook up took less than 30 min. It did well as long as it was not oatmeal or cream of wheat. The appearance was fine for the decor of the kitchen was flush with the counter adjustable faceplate i.e. Floor plate so held a flush finish even after tiling the kitchen. The size was OK considering the racking system made it easy to load and the design maximizes the amount of storage space on the machine. That particular model was from a small place I had but got as new and used it a lot. I do construction and have purchased some in the past. The value was good if bought in the right place.

I purchased a Kenmore front loader washing machine on 11 July 2019. The machine broke down on 24 December 2019. I called and they sent a repair tech on 27 December. Parts needed to be ordered. After waiting a few weeks I called to ask what the hold up was? I was told the parts were on back order and should arrive shortly. I called again after waiting another week. Told they didn’t have any idea when the parts would arrive. I called the warranty department and got the run around. Then I was told the part would arrive on 21 January. Nothing. When I called the warranty department on the 22 they told me either the part would arrive on 27 January or I was entitled to a new machine. Nothing.Called on 27 January. They informed me that they would send another technician out on 6 February for a second opinion. Ok. If he agrees my machine needs the part order and it is still on backlog I will get a new machine. This sounds very odd to me. Never heard of a second opinion. This is totally unprofessional and reflects on their company. All I wanted was my machine to work especially since it is one year warranty. They should bring that new machine out when the technician comes on 6 February. I have been without a washer for over 30 days. It will be 40 when the 2nd opinion technician arrives. This is beyond ridiculous.

Our Kenmore is very powerful for an older model washer. It has all needed wash cycles. It also has a very large drum for its size and I never have a problem with clothing sitting on one side during the wash. Each cycle gives the clothing a really good cleaning. It also has a very simple look, making it easy to use. Moreover, the knobs being located on the top panel makes them easy to access after you load and close the washer. This washer gets the job done extremely well for the price. Why pay double or triple the price when you can get this model and get the exact same performance as other washers. I highly recommend purchasing it.

Works great, affordable price and lasts for yrs. Cant beat the performance and how well it works. Just dont overfill with clothes. Little loads for high soil items is best. The water is great working and cleans soiled things very well if you do smaller loads but use full cycle. I find with the kids socks and grass dirt it cleans and dont beat them to death. Im very happy with the quality and performance. This is also a great washer to have if you do camping. The look of a washer doesnt really matter to me only because it is in the basement and I am the only one that sees it however it is a stylish and old fashion design that one that sees it knows it is a washing machine and sees the elegance of the style. I would recommend this washing machine to any person that has a lower budget and still wants guilty and if a super cool look doesnt matter you will fall in love with this great working product that still gives you a smart look and high performance product.

I have one old standard Kenmore washer that has been working and running w/ no issues. Easy to use. No problems. Had it for about 10 yrs now and still running. I think if it ever stops working I will stick to a standard one and not those new ones.

Two weeks after I received the washer, it stopped adding water. The repair man came out and put a new part on it and it worked for another week. Then it stopped draining water. The repair man came out again and said he had to order parts, as these were not kept in stock. When he finally finished with the repairs, he said that I had a new machine again, as he replaced everything including the motor. He told me that it would have been cheaper if the Company would have just replaced it.

Kenmore Front-loading Automatic Washer Model #796.4127 - We purchased our washer about a yr and a half ago. Hate it on SO many levels. I thought it would be great for bedding and such but NOTHING comes clean. I can wash my husbands work shirts and after they are washed and dried I can still smell his cologne on the shirts. We live on the water and I lost my top loader in a hurricane which caused our basement to flood. I was overjoyed thinking I could finally buy a front loader and that it would be so much better. I wish I could turn back the hands of time and know then what I know now because I would have bought another top loader for sure. You just cant get clothes clean without an agitator! And the SMELL!!! OMG it is HORRIBLE! It has this little drain tube you have to drain every couple of weeks, you cant leave the door closed or the smell is disgusting, but then you worry about the rubber seal drying out. I hate this washer on so many levels it isnt funny. Would NOT recommend it even to my worst enemy. Laundry is enough of a chore without having to wait almost 2 hours to wash a load on the heavy setting but if you dont set it to that, nothing comes clean. Heck even on the heavy setting, it still comes out as stained as it went in. I use a laundry pretreat and that helps a little but if you are thinking of buying this, change your mind and RUN!!!

A very powerful motor that get my clothes clean the first wash. At times I do not have to re wash any of my loads. Keep clothes clean the first wash and with very small amount of detergents. It is a reliable machine in that whenever I need it to clean clothes, it is available to clean for me. I can relied on it to clean virtual any piece and sizes of clothing. The tough appearance also make me think it is a tough machines that can help me with any tough job. Theres nothing fancy about the appearance but I didnt buy it for display in the living room. Its a perfect fit for a laundry room and thats whats important. Its been a very reliable washer. Ive had it for over a decade now and have had no repair expenses. Also, the laundry is always clean and well rinsed. Ive definitely gotten my moneys worth out of it. What more could one ask!

We just purchased a Sears 500 series top loading washer. It does not get clothes clean. After washing whites, with bleach, towels used for baking with some chocolate batter stains did not get clean. Stains remained. The machine does not put enough water in the tub to get clothes clean. It does not agitate enough to get out spots. Autofill simply does a terrible job at assessing amount of water needed per load. There is no way for the consumer to add more water to a load. The machine fails on design and execution. If not buy this product.

Its easy to used, carries an incredible amount of clothes in one load and just gets the job done all around. A definite recommendation. I bought it some time ago, more than a year now and its still going as strong as ever. It shows no sign of breaking down any time soon. Its a simple, discreet looking thing. I’ve had this washer machine for about 3 years. While it washes lightly soiled materials well, I do need to wash heavy soiled laundry multiple times. This machine has begun to accumulate a mildew smell. I have yet to identify the source of the smell. In addition, the trays where you pour your detergent, bleach and fabric softener fill with water after the wash. The only tray you can manually empty the access water is the detergent tray, this I feel everything else gets diluted. Overall it is an ok machine.

This washer throws the drive belt at least once per month! When it does it has to be laid over and all the water ends up on the floor and a huge mess not to mention having to put the belt back on! Never buy a series 500 or any other Kenmore with this type belt drive! Kenmore was no help, they got their money.

I did a lot of research and found that Kenmore was a trusted brand. My husband is very particular about anything we buy and this was no different. It took what seems like forever to buy one but I am glad we took our time. It had a very powerful wash cycle and didnt leave spots on my glassware. It washes very quick and is careful not to harm any of my delicates or top rack only items. Although I wish I had chosen a different color. Also, it could be a little bit quieter but all in all it is almost perfect.

For the price we paid, we have not had a repair bill. Its easy to use and clean. It can be moved easily, and with one person. This washer performed very well. At times, the rotation device in the center would come unbound, but it is an easy fix. Overall, it is cost efficient and relatively compact for our living area and Im enjoying it. I have plenty of laundry to do, and this washer can hold it all. It has never need anything but a do it yourself repair. The washer is very good at washing. I dont enjoy cubical shapes as I have an unnatural fear of them (my doctor told me). Other than the shape, the color is good and it can fit into any reasonably colored room. For all of the use I got out of it, I would say it is underpriced. It is really that good.
