The Kenmore was provided by our landlord well over 23 years ago and was a good quality. The landlord wanted an efficient running refrigerator, which this was indeed. Our electric bills were low, and there was never any repair work needed while we used the refrigerator. So far, I liked the ease of cleaning the shelves. Also, seeing what is in the refrigerator is an important factor in making my choice to buy. However, our family of six needed more space to store food, especially the milk our children would drink in a weeks time. So I would have liked more freezer space to store food for future use. The ice tray area was small and did not keep up during the summer. There was some ice build up in the freezer too.

I like that there was a large produce drawer with plenty of space in it and the temperature control was nice especially when things at the top were freezing cause it was too cold in the refrigerator. But the ice machine would sometimes not work and stop making ice or the ice would all clump up and would not come out of the dispenser so a better ice machine would be good. Also, I thought the water went a little slow. But Kenmore has met our initial expectations and it is a trustworthy brand that I would buy again.

I bought Kenmore Refrigerator, 795692902, on May 2012. The warranty elapsed six months ago. The freezer works fine but the Refrigerator below is cool. I called a repair person. He diagnosed the problem as being a computer board for the Refrigerator is bad. He said the Refrigerator is too new to have that kind of problem.. I would not buy any Kenmore product again.

It is nice fridge.. Had a sufficient place to keep all! The temperature can be set at whatever we require! It keeps the temperature constant! Keep the items so fresh every time! The features of this refrigerator is simply superb! It is so elegant and matches with the color of my interiors! The aisles inside are built with quality! Easy to use!! It makes the ice so fast and produces more ice cubes!

Refrigerator leaking water into produce trays. On December 4, 2014 replaced the evaporator wall cover in my new fridge. Fast forward to January 4, 2015 - same problem all over again. It is going to cost me close to $200 to have my fridge repaired AGAIN. Unacceptable.

BUYER BEWARE – KENMORE REFRIGERATOR. November 30, 2016 I purchased a Kenmore Elite 795.74093.411/Seri#607R00046. June 25, 2018 it stopped working (less than 18 months), I lost everything in it. I phoned Sears and found out that it was no longer under warranty and I will have to pay full price. I went online and looked at the Consumer Report - out of 54 reviews - 38 are 1 Star. Sears - out of 55 reviews - 37 are 1 Star. Amazon has 2 reviews - 1st is out of 3 - 3 are 1 star / 2nd review is 2.5 out of 5 stars with a 67% 1 star rating. NO RECALL was done on item.Sales clerk at Sears in Rancho Cucamonga, CA on Friday June 29 2018 around 6:45 p.m. – She told me that KENMORE does not make refrigerators to last, that is why you have to buy the extended warranty which cost $499.99 and keep it current for any future problems. NOTE... it only covers 25% cost of parts. I was also told by her that Kenmore is not a Sears Brand. Funny when I look up Kenmore all phone numbers lead to SEARS.

It was a reliable fridge for many years. Never had any problems with it. It was fine until it needed to be replaced.

We purchased a Sears Kenmore Side by Side refrigerator because the Kenmore name has always been known to be of good quality that lasts for years. Ours started leaking out the front of the ice/water dispenser about 5 years ago, even when it was turned off and unplugged. It in turn caused rust stains on the entire door underneath the dispenser. I have cleaned it off but it keeps coming back - it is not plugged in and we are no longer using it. I finally removed the square piece around the panel to find out what I could. I found out that the area around the dispenser under the plastic panel had eroded away. Now the door is ruined and pieces of it fall off if you try to put the square piece back on the panel. The refrigerator still works well, but we dont have the water hooked up to use the dispenser. Its too embarrassing when guests come over and there is rust running all down the front of the refrigerator.

There is a class action lawsuit for LG and Kenmore refrigerators sold on or before January 29, 2014. There is a specific list of models and serial numbers. The website I added later in the review has the list of models and serial numbers included. The lawsuit claims that certain LG Signature Model and Sears Kenmore Model Refrigerators contain a defect with the ice fan that is evidenced with: an IF error; low or no ice production; clogged ice systems, water leaking; the refrigerator shutting off on its own; loud motor sounds; or ticking and grinding that goes away when the refrigerator is shut off. The settlement provides: 1. Repairs, 2. Reimbursement for damages (food loss or property damage), 3. While the company can claim this is only cosmetic, I paid $2666.44 for this refrigerator and the brown spots are increasing weekly. In September of 2012 we bought a new Kenmore refrigerator from Sears. In less than a year we noticed severe ice build up on the back panel of the bottom freezer. We contacted service who sent someone out. He did nothing other than tell us that maybe the door was left ajar, or that we basically open the refrigerator too much! Really?!! Its never been a problem with any past refrigerator. This was August and he said once the weather got less humid it would probably slowly disappear. Well we waited and it didnt and how convenient and cost saving for Sears....it went off warranty! Now its added a new problem to go along with the ice build up. A loud noise probably coming from the evaporator fan motor from what I have read online. Several weeks ago I pulled out the inner drawers and used a small hammer to chip away the ice build up myself. It stopped the noise for about 3 weeks, but now its started up again and there is ice showing up again on the back panel. I contact Sears service and was told basically tough luck since we didnt buy the extended warranty. But they offered to give us 10% off of a service call. Big deal!! They never fixed the problem to begin with when it was still under warranty. We refused to pay $479 for extended protection on a $1200 large ticket item like a fridge that should last for more than a year without issues! They obviously know what they are selling is junk. Im quite certain from what Ive been reading that this is a design flaw. It should be recalled. Im completely disgusted and will not deal with Sears again.

The Kenmore refrigerator I had was an upper freezer/lower refrigerator model that actually ran for close to 15 years before I had to replace the unit. It never broke down but it never had the extra amenities like Ice Maker. It was the only refrigerator I owned that never experienced zonal freezing, where items in the back of the fridge will freeze. Overall a steady workhorse unit.

We first purchased our Kenmore Elite french door refrigerator about 5 years ago. Right after our one-year warranty had expired we started having issues. The fan in the freezer would freeze over, causing a terrible, loud noise, and causing the freezer to warm. Then the ice maker would quit. After numerous Sears repairmen came and replaced the compressor, the computer panel, defrosted the fan, etc. etc. they finally offered us a new frig. Our now two-year-old frig is beginning to have all the same issues. It is making a terrible noise as the freezer fan has frozen again. We have thawed it out numerous times for this same problem, but it recurs over and over. Now the door water/ice has stopped.My sister has a two-year old exact model Kenmore elite frig, and they have already had theirs replaced for the same reason. I can understand one lemon, but three? Today we had another repairman out (not Sears), and he told us these refrigerators are no longer made in the US and the quality has plummeted. He said our problems are very common, unfortunately, and he would NEVER buy one himself. So do not listen to reviews of those who have only had one for under a year... they will have problems soon enough Im sure. It looks pretty enough, but having TWO $2800 refrigerators malfunction when they are only two years old is incredibly frustrating. DO NOT BUY!!!

There is plenty of room for the family. Enough room in the freezer section. Its frost free. Keeps drinks cold and frozen food frozen. Plenty of room for everything a family needs. It fits in a normal house allotted space in the cabinet layout. Room enough for gallon jugs of liquids and 24 packs of soft drinks. Its sanitary white, easy to clean. Freezer is on the top. Refrigerator on the bottom. Interior is white, Coils are located in the rear. Theres a drip pan underneath to catch the defrost drainage. It is very valuable because it is well insulated to maintain temperatures during short power outages. Its well made so it will last longer without needing to be replaced.

Bought our refrig off sales floor at reduced cost Sears store. There were no visible signs that it was bumped or bruised, but it was a good deal and has met our needs. It has a side by side design so that the freezer section is easy to access and readily see its contents.

I have a bottom freezer with an ice maker. I absolutely love it. The ice maker doesnt make huge ice and with the fact I love chewing ice, it makes it perfect. Plus I was able to connect it to my water purifier so I never get hard water in my ice even though we have well water. Another thing I love is the double door refrigerator. It makes it so easy to organize and clean. The only real problem I have found is defrosting the freezer. When you do, it is such a mess.

Designed to fall apart. Veg/cooler bins on the bottom literally fall apart if not very, very carefully opened/closed, which you must do slowly or the drawers fall out. Freezer is inconveniently designed and items fall through the grated bottoms. Had to put big plastic bins in to prevent this. Light bulb in the freezer is useless, lasted less than a month. You also have to be extremely careful to place items away from the bulb, which is positioned so you cant see it, to avoid breakage. Amount of inside available space compared to outside dimensions is horrible. Huge thing, little space. Will never buy this brand again.

Happy with the Kenmore. I use it for a garage fridge and am quite happy with it. Works great and gets the job done as far as my needs go. It had lots of space on the inside but not too big so not get in the way and make kitchen look cluttered. Got real cold and kept food cool. Ladder door, storage, interior lighting glass, shelves, freezless and stylish with a modern look. Couldnt really ask for more, just store I bought it from would have had it black and not just white. Would recommend to anyone if looking for a good price and good fridge.

I purchased a brand new Kenmore refrigerator/freezer (model 795-69976-902), in April 2010. The freezer over freezes and the fridge is hot. I have had to throw away three refrigerators full of food since then. The first repair was done in August 2010 when the technician put in a new computer panel in the freezer. They had to come back again in September 23, 2010 for the same problem. This time they ordered a computer panel for the refrigerator. They came back again on October 10, 2010 to put on the part. That is a lot of time without a working fridge. Now it is August of 2011, and the same problem. The fridge is 55 degrees; all the food goes in the trashn, and the freezer is freezer burned. I replaced a 20 year old unit that I had no problems with! Today I have yet another service call for the same problem. I want a new refrigerator so that I can be more assured that it will actually work! I know I have a lemon, so I want a new one!

I understand a warranty ending but what kind of fridge dies after such a short term? The worst part of it is, Im in AK, there is no service for Kenmore refs in AK. Sears basically told me to take a hike. Only after I yelled at phone support did they give me troubleshooting instructions. None of which helped. As of now, I believe the refrigerant leaked internally. Its labeled Kenmore Elite; the product, and frankly, the service is a zero!

It was always keeping the right temperature and easy to clean. I also liked the different drawers for veggies and fruit and also the lunch meat. It seemed to be just what I needed. It held my condiments, dairy, vegetables, and fruit and was just the right size for my families groceries. The freezer was also just what I needed as far as space-wise. It was actually a simple model. It had the wire racks and the plastic drawers. The outside was generally plain which kept decorating fairly easy. I feel that I got my moneys worth for what I was looking for. The areas for certain items were perfect for my family of 4. The kids snacks were easy to get to and allowed me to keep our food organized.

I enjoy our Kenmore fridge. It has plenty of space for a lot of groceries. If I had to say on anything negative it would be how hard it is to clean out ice drawer. It has made the ice have a funny taste and theres even been debris - maybe rust.

My Kenmore lasted many, many years. I never had any problems with leakage, nor did I ever have a problem with the cooling in the refrigerator or freezer. It was an older model, as I said I had it many years, but it lasted through a family of 4 for a long time. I eventually left it for the new owner when I sold my house but it was still in perfect working condition when I left.

This is a great product. I have never had any problems with any Kenmore refrigerator. It keeps all of your items nice and cold. Its quiet while running. Easy to open and shut doors. I love a Kenmore refrigerator.

It worked well. It was of the low end models but worked amazing. There was little to not be happy with except it wasnt a fancy fridge and small freezer space but overall was a very good fridge.

I have had several Kenmore refrigerators and have always been more than satisfied with the quality of the brand. They always have fair prices compared to the current market. I would not hesitate to recommend Kenmore as a high quality brand. We have only had to service one of three Kenmore refrigerators that we have owned.

The refrigerator that I got worked so good. It was just amazing. It had the perfect temperature and it made ice through the front of the door. Everyone was very impressed with it. The size of the refrigerator was perfect for me because I have a big kitchen. It is a big refrigerator so keep in mind the size of your doorways and your kitchen before you purchase one. Always take measurements beforehand. The appearance of the refrigerator was beautiful. The stainless steel was so shiny and clean. It just makes the kitchen look so much more modern and new. I have gotten many compliments from it. The refrigerator was well worth the money for everything you get. Once you have an appliance like this one you will not want to buy any other kitchen brand.

The Ice maker in the freezer is fantastic. It shuts off when the bin is full and you can shut it off at any time. I also like the idea of the humidity control in the two lower drawers. They are also very spacious, as is the meat drawer. I like the adjustable glass shelves. The entire refrigerator is very spacious and great for the whole family.

No issues or service calls. I have just realized that it has performed for 15 years. It is frost free and has traveled from Georgia to Alabama and continue to work well. This refrigerator has a 20 cubic foot capacity, with adjustable shelves for taller or shorter containers, two vegetable bins, a dehydrator with adjustable temperature levels, an ice maker and plenty of room in the freezer compartment. The appearance is a non smooth finish that does not receive fingerprints and two separate compartments, one for the freezer and one for the regular stuff. It looks great and works great. The value of this refrigerator has been superior to the quality of products on the market now. I know of people who have replaced refrigerators and have had them less time than I have had mine.

After having this refrigerator in my brand new home I was ready to chuck it out the window. The most God awfully annoying sound you could ever imagine was coming out of this machine. An irritating high pitched intermittent whistle. But when a service man arrived it was classified as a normal sound. Yep, I said normal. Unfortunately my husband was the only one home at the time so I couldnt argue. The next day I had a second repair person who said this Kenmore refrig is known to be noisy. I called customer affairs and there was nothing they would do. I ended up calling Sears store directly and they took care of it which I am thankful for. A new Whirlpool will be sent to me by the end of the week.

Ive never been able to get ice and water in a cup while looking away at my kids before... With this fridge I can! Thankfully Ive had no issues. Its perfect. I can fit all my kosher, my husbands gluten free, my daughters lactose-free, and my sons vegan food in this fridge, WITH room for wine and beer. It fits perfectly with the style of our kitchen, doesnt get fingerprints on it, and looks absolutely seamless. Mels and molds with our other Kenmore products. Its really expensive looking, looks to be a designer, ten thousand dollar fridge and it totally fits perfectly with my modern style with all of its chrome and stuff.

Works well, refrigerator side keeps cool with adjustable temperature. Freezer side cools fast. Ice machine works very well. No reliability issues. Freezer side has four or five compartments. Refrigerator side has lots of bin space and storage on the back of the door. Easy to move along the floor. Refrigerator has a nice stainless steel front with two long stainless steel handles for the freezer and refrigerator section. Ice maker dispenser is all black. Overall is a good value since it has good reliability, a nice modern stainless steel appearance, good storage space in both sections, and a functional ice dispenser.

Works well, never had a problem. Love the look, stainless is nice, very quiet. There is lots of room and the shelves are very sturdy. Easy to move the shelves and very easy to clean.

Kenmore was the cheapest when comparing it to other brands that had the same features. Kenmore is a trusted brand and this fridge was on sale. I was more concerned with the price and the value than what specific features it has. I like the features and the space in this refrigerator. There is plenty of space especially in the freezer which is great for my needs. But I wish it had sturdier shelving units and maybe it coming in different colors.

The real problem with refrigerators these days is the flimsy plastic that they are made of will break if you drop something or pull hard. The drawers are particularly fragile. Plus, in the last one I purchased, they took the egg container away.

Kenmore is backed by Sears which seems dependable company. The refrigerator was with a good warranty. Living on a small island there used to be a Sears repairman in case of problems. When I bought my condo the refrigerator was already there. The white freezer on top kept the ice cubes and kept ice cream cold. Produce remained crisp and meat was good temperature. It also blended in the kitchen quite well. However, it should have a finish so fingermarks dont show, have designer colors, and have more shelves in the freezer department. It also should be easy to pull out so can clean behind it. It needs lights in the freezer compartment too.

I was very pleased with my Kenmore refrigerator and I never had a problem with it at all. I had it for about 20 plus years and I had five children who used it all the time with no problems or complaints.

I like it because its built in with ice maker and water. Good shape and nice color and its good for the house. So satisfied the model. Good size to the house and its fit for the goods on it. The size is enough and fit to the household and more stuff to out on it and very satisfied to put in the house. The overall appearance is really good and I really like it. In the winter of 2014 I bought the Kenmore 795.5131 model side-by-side refrigerator during a sale from Sears. In the spring of 2015 the ice machine stopped working. I did not buy more than a 1 year protection plan and am quite annoyed that I had to pay over $200 to have it replaced. The repairman who I have had used for over a decade told me that this brand of Kenmore uses LG parts who are mostly made of plastic. My intent is to let others and Sears manufacturers know that by buying one they may be in the same boat.

First off, I will never buy another Kenmore appliance, and would tell you that no matter how many 5 stars it is rated, it is still a pile of garbage. We bought this highly rated french door refrigerator back in 2014 and for 6 years it has worked perfectly. If refrigerators only lasted for one year Id say we got our moneys worth but according to repair experts a refrigerator should last 14-20 years. Our Kenmore was made by LG and if you do your research you will find that LG is not a very reliable brand, I dont care what the experts say. The compressor is weak and only lasts for a couple of years if you are lucky. Ours went out! Now LG covers their compressor for 10 years but Kenmore only covers it for 1. What a rip off!!! It will cost $1166.28 to repair a refrigerator that I paid $1150 for in 2014. Sears and the Kenmore brand can go square to HEdoublehockeysticks!!! Im done.

The refrigerator keeps food real cold and easy to clean. It not hard to move to clean behind of it. The price is inexpensive for this type of refrigerator. The size was enough to put everything in it. I needed for a small family. The freezer part was a enough for the frozen items. I kept small size frozen items in it. The overall appearance is fine. It easily wipes clean. No harsh chemicals needed to clean it. Just a damage cloth really. Im not sure what I paid for it but it was within my budget. Overall good value for the money.

The first Kenmore our family had lasted over 60 years. Though it was small by modern standards it never had a maintenance problem and spent the last 40 years as the basement fridge for beer and excess food.

We purchased a Kenmore side by side refrigerator in July of 2016, also purchased their very expensive 3 year warranty, or as they call it, their Master Protection Agreement. During that 3 years we had eight service calls for the icemaker. After the fourth or fifth service call the technician told us that this model has a design flaw, and that it would keep breaking. Well guess what? They were right. Right after the warranty ran out it broke again and this time the service rep said he could not fix it. The design flaw was in the wiring at the bottom of the freezer, at the hinge where the door swings open. They could no longer splice the wiring to fix it! We paid $89.00 for this service call in which they did nothing but tell us it was unfixable!We contact Customer Service and the BBB to file complaints. Sears refused to help us in any way, telling us we were basically out of luck. They also refuse to refund our $89.00 for the NON-service call. The Customer Service Rep who answered the BBB complaint offered to give us a 20% discount on a new refrigerator. Ridiculous! We will never buy another Sears product. A design flaw such as this should be grounds for a Class Action Law Suit.

It performs perfectly, keeps all products cold and up to the expiration date. Energy efficient and attractive. Fits well in my kitchen and looks great with my other appliances. Could be a bit larger, but my family became larger after I purchased this fridge. I could use a little more freezer space, opposed to the refrigerator space. Looks amazing in my kitchen. Its sleek and clean, has a great fit. It is easy to clean and the inside of the appliance is very organized, and looks nice as well. The price was just right for this refrigerator. I got a great deal and it is also very energy efficient and saves me on my utility bill greatly. I would definitely recommend the price to others.

October 26 my ice maker went out. Service appointment was November 8. Technician said part was ordered. I had another appointment. Sears called and said part was back ordered. Set up appointment for December 5. I get recorded messages saying that tech. will not be at my house unless I confirm getting part. Called Sears, my call got dropped twice. Talk to CS. They said they would have to call me back that system was working slowing. Called back 30 minutes later. CS said part was back ordered and they dont know when it will come. I have had this fridge for a year this month. I was promised it would be fixed by Thanksgiving. It was not. I was promised it would be fixed on December 5th. I am so beyond words to describe this. Why is there not a part for a fridge that is not a year old? I asked to talk to someone higher up than customer service. I was told that there is not one higher. What is a consumer to do???

Kenmore Elite Refrig made by LG - Ask first and STAY AWAY. Short and sweet, 1st refrig, 9 mos old, 5 service calls before declared dead (took 6 weeks). Replacement refrig, 6 months old, 2nd service call (2 weeks so far, new board, new interior panel, broke by serviceman). STAY AWAY FROM LG REFRIGERATORS. THEY SUCK. NO QUALITY CONTROL and they do not care! Buy the service package. You will need it!!!!!!!

This appliance has been dependable. It works well. It runs quietly and keeps food just the right temperature all the time. I am happy with my purchase. I have plenty of space inside for all my groceries. I like the number of shelves in the fridge. This refrigerator is just lovely. I like the stainless steel appearance. The only thing I would like better is if I had gotten a fridge with the ice maker included. I think the price I paid is in line with other stores that sell the same brands. I wish fridges were cheaper but I am not dissatisfied overall with the value vs costs.

When we moved 3 years ago, the previous tenants had taken all the appliances. So, since we had past experience with Kenmore, we went to Sears to replace them. The refrigerator has been good and dependable. The only bad comment I might have is that the ice maker is a bit noisy.

Kenmore is a familiar brand and I knew the quality. I bought a refrigerator at sale price and it served us well. I like its durability, the layout of the bins and the French door style. Its quiet and spacious. And it fits well in kitchen and fit my taste at the time of purchase, though trends have changed. Complements the other appliances. However, I would like it if it was easier to pull out to clean back and an easier to clean grille. It would also be nice if it came in colors like the Whirlpool copper - the Sunset bronze.

Works great, never have had any problems with this model of fridge. It serves its purpose. Was great for making ice, had one of the shortest times for making it. Also had plenty of freezer room, which most fridges do not have. Just wish I would have splurged and gotten one with ice dispenser and water dispenser. Overall I have enjoyed this unit to the fullest. The size served my needs and uses. Had plenty of freezer space, and could make ice cubes relatively quick. Also could hold 2 gallons of milk at a time and still have room for other necessary items. The appearance of this fridge is very sharp. Very classical look while being able to have enough room for all other items needed. It fit well with the look of my kitchen. The value of this fridge is great for the money. It is an economical appliance that is worth the money. Have had other fridges not worth the money spent on.

When I bought my new home, I purchased a Kenmore side by side refrigerator, model # 253.5569907. Yes, the warranty has expired, so, it seems that Sears is willing to gouge me for any money they can. The enamel around the bottom of the ice dispenser is bubbling and rusting… much like a car would that has been through snow and road salt. Since Id received an invitation to renew my warranty, I decided to ask about the rust. I was transferred to 3 different operators. The last one finally told me that there was no recall on my model. I was told that I could pay for a technician to come and look at the door. (I know what rust looks like.) Also, to fix the door, perhaps the door could be replaced at my cost, of course. IF theres a site listing recalls of SEARS products, I CANNOT find it!!! Ive never known a refrigerator door to rust away. I do know that when I replace my appliances or anything else, I would think long and hard before shopping at Sears.

The ice dispenser never clogged. Water was cold. Humidity controlled drawer kept greens fresher longer. Enough drawer space shelving spaced to fit different sized bottles. Cooling element worked independently from freezer to refrigerator. The apartment installed black exterior refrigerator with water and ice dispenser. The doors opened in the middle to take up as little space when opened. It was larger size and fit more groceries. The placement of the shelves was perfect and I could fit tall bottles upright. Large serving trays on the other shelves. Drawers and shelves come out easy for cleaning.

I find the freezer space to be sufficient, runs quietly, energy efficient. Refrigerator space layout is good due to the adjustable shelves. I find the interior space to be more than enough room for my needs. This is mostly due to the fact that I can adjust the shelving to my particular need. While not the most modern look, I find it looks very nice in my kitchen area. My kitchen has a more classic look so I do not feel the need to have the most up-to-date appliances. I feel my refrigerator to be a good value. It serves my needs well without having all the unneeded bells and whistles of more expensive models. Its energy efficiency helps to keep my utility bill lower.

This refrigerator has been an excellent purchase. Lives up to expectations of quality and value for the price. Would recommend to family and friends and would also purchase again. What more could you want?

We have had our freezer top fridge for over 15 years now. Only issue we had when we first bought it was trying to squeeze into our narrow doorways in the house into our kitchen. Its just now starting to go and needs to be replaced. So, with proper care, a new one could last for at least 10 years.

I like the stainless steel outside, which is easy to keep clean, but the door doesnt hold a full dozen eggs. So I have mixed feelings about our refrig. Next time I buy a refrigerator, I will definitely make sure the door is the right size.

Kenmore refrigerator works wonders. Love the style and how it looks. The size is also so amazing and big. It holds all your food and in your freezer. Its a must - every lady needs this in the kitchen. It is worth every penny and I would recommend it to anyone.

I researched refrigerators before I made my purchase and the Kenmore brand ranked high consumer reports. I have had other Kenmore appliances and they are comparable to well known brands. I like the roominess of the top freezer. I can put large ice cream cakes in it. I also like the size of the refrigerator and the adjustable wire shelves are very convenient. I have noticed that my produce seems to stay fresher longer, which may be attributed to a good cooling system. I also think Sears stands behind their appliances and all their products and it has great customer service for their products. But I wish a refrigerator with a top freezer could have a water and ice dispenser. I also thought the refrigerator would have been higher from the ground. It seems like I have to bend way down to see items I have stored in the refrigerator on the bottom shelf. Or maybe make the storage bins taller so it is easier to see what is on the shelf. I would also like an egg tray included with the refrigerator. Other than those, Im very satisfied with refrigerator

The ice maker water line from my Kenmore refrigerator 7425, unknown to me, had a crimp in it when installed and after 4 years developed a small hole. The water leaked under my kitchen cabinets, causing thousands of dollars in replacement costs. At the outset of the leak, there was no visible evidence since the water spread out toward the back of the cabinets. According to my plumber, the crimp was there when the refrigerator was new and installed that way. This refrigerator was rated highly by Consumer Reports and might be a good refrigerator if it wasnt for the shoddy parts and attention from installers.

Dependable. Reliable. Worked well for many, many years. Never had a problem with it. Was easy to clean and keep up too. Would still have it, but sold our home with our appliances. Freezer was deep enough to store at least two weeks supply of meats and frozen vegetables. The main refrigerate was very well shelved. Held a lot of drinks, condiments, lunch meats and leftovers. Standard size, top freezer, bottom main refrigerate. White in color. Easily wiped clean. Sturdy and well made. Didnt scratch easily or dent, tarnish easily. I cannot recall the exact amount that we paid. But, I do recall it was not very expensive. We got a very good deal on it. And was very satisfied that it worked so well.

Kenmore has definitely met my expectations. It was the existing refrigerator in the house when I purchased it. The product is sound, reliable, and built very well. It is more than 15 years old and still works great. But I would improve the interior spacing and use stronger plastic for the shelves. My refrigerator is white and I would offer other custom colors besides the standard Black, white, and stainless steel. But the Overall Performance and reliability is excellent and the size is perfect for the space.

Its a good fridge. Ive had it for about a year and a half to maybe 2 years now and its always been great at keeping all of my food cool and fresh all the time. It was recommended through a friend and at this point I dont think I could ever buy another brand of refrigerator. Its just the best.

Nice easy grip handles makes the doors pop right open without much force. Great quality product that has great features and size. It has plenty of room on the freezer and refrigerator side with adjustable racks to fit larger items on the shelves and to fit all your groceries the way you need to. Deep shelves to fit all your leftovers too. Water dispenser with a water filter and ice cubes can be cubed or crushed also with filtered water. Also, motor runs so quiet you dont even hear it. Great value for everything you get with this refrigerator.

I love my Kenmore refrigerator and all in all I am very content. I bought it because I got the most out of this one and got a better deal. I like the fact that it has a lot of room and plenty of places to put my items and it keeps them very cold almost to freezing. I love the chrome look and it wipes down easy. I bought it because I got the most out of this one. I got a very very good deal and I’m happy with it. But I dislike the fact like the ice maker arm gets stuck sometimes and it throws ice into the bottom of the refrigerator.

It was years ago that I had this type of refrigerator. It was one of my first refrigerator, couldnt complain about anything about it. I liked the freezer. It was nice and spacious. I expected the functions that it offered and it was met with the expirations. Just wish when I bought one would of been great if I would of waited till later in the years, to have a built-in ice machine. It was with me for years but times changed with technology but the overall experience was great. I expected to have it as the warranty would expire and it last past the time. Ive moved up on the refrigerators. I was completely satisfied when I chose a Kenmore refrigerator. I just liked the brand of it and the performance that it offered. I loved my refrigerator.

I have had this refrigerator for over ten years and it still seems like brand new! I can’t imagine any other. It holds a great deal of food and keeps everything so fresh. I love it so much. I wouldn’t trade this one for a newer model at all. It is smudge resistant and has no dents even though I have moved. The freezer also keeps everything perfect also. Sears doesn’t make them like this anymore so solid and quiet too.

I own a Kenmore refrigerator freezer that stands side by side. It also has a built in water and ice dispenser. Ive had it for six years and have never had trouble with it. The water dispenser has a replaceable filter which makes me feel more comfortable drinking it. It was put in storage for over a year through hot and freezing temperatures. It still works fine. I feel very comfortable with the size of the freezer, something I find many of to be too small. The shelves including those on the door, are adjustable. That has come in handy when placing large containers in it. I would recommend it to others.

Our refrigerator is 9 years old, and we have never had a single problem with it. It still looks like new, and works perfectly. The only maintenance that weve ever had to do is change the water filters twice a year, and even those are very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend a Kenmore refrigerator to anyone. Adjustable shelving is very convenient, and we have no trouble fitting 4 gallons of milk on a single shelf. The drawers are large and the freezer is more than adequate. We have the scrubbed stainless version of this model, and after 9 years, it still looks like new. The shelves are easy to remove and clean, and they still look new. This refrigerator was well worth the price we paid for it. We have always had Kenmore appliances, and they are worth the price. They last longer than other brands, so it is worth an additional cost.

We purchased four Kenmore applications 3 years ago… to my disappointment the refrigerator stopped working and I did not get an extended warranty. I thought if I was investing my hard earned money on a name like Kenmore it would last longer than that. But to my amazement even when I’m paying to have it fixed I have to wait 1 weeks to get it fixed. We took time off to get it fixed just to get a call at 4:00 that he’s not coming. Now we have to wait another 8 days before they come. I do not recommend anyone to purchase Kenmore appliances. We are not happy nor are we satisfied with their service or products.

Works well and is quiet in noise nature. Keeps items the right temperature and is never too cold or too warm. Good lighting for those midnight snacks too. Fits perfectly in a standard size space made for fridge. Spacious interior and doesnt look bulky or out of place. Perfect size for our household. It looks simple and classic. Honestly nothing special. It looks like a standard fridge but that is enough for me. Very satisfied with it overall and wouldnt change anything. I was happy with the value because the price was reasonable and seemed low compared to similar products and it works well and gets the job done. No problems at all.

We purchased an LG refrigerator through Sears under Kenmore name with model number 795.71309.011. Fridge is under warranty for only one more week, and the top portion stopped working. Service man told us today that this is a problem with this models bottom drawer design, because you think it is closed but it is open enough to cause a frost problem that freezes the fan. It appears to be a similar problem to other LG refrigerators that have been recalled and the fan can be a fire hazard. Our model has not been recalled, but serviceman said we better get extended warranty because this is a lousy model. If he is telling the truth, it should have been recalled. If he is lying, its a Sears scam to scare us into buying expensive extended warranties. It also took the one week to come out and service, because they ordered a new PCB, but that wasnt even the problem.The service man said that this model has been out five years with this problem with no change in the design. There is too much play in the bottom drawer door. He changed the PCB anyway, because he said he changes 30-40 bad PCBs a year on this model. He also changed the sensor in the freezer drawer door that communicates to the PCB.I feel that in light of his information, Sears should give me the extended warranty for free. They also dented the door when it was originally delivered, and we could never get through on the 800 number to get compensation. And they count on us being too busy to follow through.

This refrigerator is 24 years old and just will not die. I have had the total ice maker replaced and the water fill valve replaced. Other than that the thing works perfectly. My wife would like to update, but cant see getting rid of something that has been with us half of our married life until it quits completely.

We purchased a new Kenmore Elite refrigerator in November 2016 for nearly $2600. Now it is November 2019 and the control board has stopped working. The part is on back order and can take 7-10 business days. Thank goodness I purchased the 3 year extended warranty because they are sending me $300 to help with the cost of lost food, also sending me $115 to help towards the purchase of a compact refrigerator I had to get in order to get my family of five by. This whole process has taken three weeks. Once the new part is installed I will be looking to extend the warranty again as I no longer trust this refrigerator. I do not recommend the Kenmore Elite.

Its good, pretty, white, and clean. Its a little big but it looks great. It comes in a large varieties of colors and shapes and sizes so you should be able to find the right one for you and your family. It is a very big fridge and freezer. You should be able to fit everything you need to fit in there. Could have maybe use a little bit more space in the freezer though. But the refrigerator runs great and the freezer works great, too. It has not broken yet. One of the shelves falls off all of the time but it is very easy to fix. It just slides right back on. That is the only problem we have had with the fridge and freezer.

Do not buy any refrigerator from Kenmore. They do not stand behind their products. I have a two year old refrigerator (Kenmore elite refrigerator) that has rust spots all over the outside doors that should be a defect in the material but they refuse to do anything about it.

I like that Kenmore is a trusted brand with a strong tradition. I also chose because of previous experience with the brand. This is the brand we had in our house growing up. Its a sturdy fridge with a good amount of space and drawers to hold a variety of food. I am pretty happy with it as a whole.

I spent $2800 on a new Kenmore Elite French door with bottom freezer. At 18 months it stopped cooling/freezing. The warranty is 12 months so I was not happy. I called to Sears home service and it took 3 WEEKS to get a tech out and I had to pay for a service call. He diagnosed the issue that it was a compressor and said it would cost $435 in labor since the compressor had a 5 year warranty. It took ANOTHER 3 WEEKS to get the tech to come out to replace the compressor which he did. He found out that the 1st tech misdiagnosed and the 2nd tech said it was the main circuit board. He needed to order and it would be an additional $269. Guess what... ANOTHER 3 WEEKS to get yet 3rd tech to come out to install the new circuit board. I will keep you all posted in 3 weeks.

We made the horrible mistake of buying all Kenmore Elite appliances at Sears in April of 2015. The nightmare started with the delivery of some of our appliances where we were literally stood up by the delivery service on 3 different occasions, no call, no show... My husband and I were both working freelance jobs at the time. If we dont work, we dont get paid, so you can imagine how frustrating it was when we had to repeatedly take time off for these clowns to grace us with their presence, only to have them not even have the courtesy to call and cancel. They have zero respect for their customers. We had issues with our washer machine a month after purchasing it and now our $2500 Kenmore Elite refrigerator has suddenly stopped working. To kick it up a notch, a technician was supposed to come today to diagnose the issue for $99, but surprise, no call, no show. He was supposed to arrive between 3pm-6pm, so I again took off of work and waited around all day. At one point I logged into my appointment page and saw they had pushed his arrival window to between 6:45pm and 8:45pm. Knowing them and their horrid track record, I even called to make sure he was still going to come today and explained how I had taken off of work and couldnt take another day off, etc. The woman on the phone supposedly put me on hold while she called my technician to confirm and then told me he was definitely still coming and would call me when he was on his way... He never called. Later on I checked my email and at 7pm they emailed me to say my appointment had now been cancelled and rescheduled for Monday. I called them right away to ream them out and the best they could do for my inconvenience was give me 20% off on whatever the cost of the service will be. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM SEARS. I could write a novel on the hell they have put us through. They DO NOT CARE about their customers and their products are complete garbage. Even their own repairman, that fixed our washer machine, told me their products are cheaply made in Korea and to stay away from them and LG (which is who makes Kenmore appliances)! Its sad because they used to be a good, dependable company, but they are nothing but con artists now.

My refrigerator is working perfectly with no issues. The bonus is having the ice and water filter. Its the best thing this refrigerator could have. The size of that refrigerator is really big. The inside of it is perfect for space to put fresh vegetables and fruits but the freezer could use more space. The appearance of the refrigerator is silver stainless. The brand name is kenmore, it is reliable and it has an elegant color and it is high performance as well. The price is fairly reasonable but wish buying a refrigerator would involve a cash back program. If you are willing to get a new refrigerator between $1000-$1500, you will make the best decision because a brand new one will last for years with no major problems.

Kenmore Elite does not get cold enough to keep milk in it. Sears said it doesnt need to be colder. Put old refrigerator, which is much colder, in laundry room just so milk doesnt spoil. Running two refrigerator now. Will never buy another Kenmore.

I liked the fact that the Kenmore Refrigerator had rollout trays and that the bins were clear. I also liked the shelves on this model. The light inside was nice. It was more clear and brighter than the other models. However, one of the things that I didnt like was that the doors are hard to keep open. Nevertheless, I chose the Kenmore Refrigerator due to the overall appearance of the brand versus the other brands and the price was enticing as well. I also liked the fact that it was the color that I wanted, stainless steel.

If I can give less than a 1 I would do it. I have a refrigerator from Kenmore and It didnt last for a week and it broke down. I called them and they want me to pay for it to fix it even though its not my fault. The Kenmore Refrigerators compressors are LG and LG compressors people have court issues on it because they break easily. Dont waste your money on those kinds of refrigerator.

It was a previous refrigerator, several years ago. It served my purposes very well but eventually, I opted for one with separate doors for freezer & refrigerator as well as internal water filter system.

The Kenmore refrigerator kept everything at the right temp, always worked and had it repaired only once and that was under warranty. And it was also the best warranty I have ever seen and would do it all again. It has better than met my expectations.

I bought a brand new Kenmore 795 silver front, freezer top/fridge bottom unit in June, fully warrantied. It went out today (quit cooling) and they not only dont seem concerned about such a quick malfunction, they say they dont work on Sundays, are booked on Monday, and cant get out until Tuesday. Its very frustrating to lose a weeks worth of groceries when the warranty proclaims Call anytime, day or night. This is something to consider before buying from Sears or Kenmore.

The refrigerator works pretty well. It had a nice temperature - not freezing, not melting. Much better than my last fridge - never seemed to work. This fridge was a challenge to get into the house but is quite small once past the doorway. I would suggest finding a nice corner for the fridge of this size. The metallic look fits in with my kitchen theme. I love the modern feel, and this refrigerator is right for me! I would suggest having a black countertops... It looked nice in my house. The cost was not ridiculously high because of the good quality, however, it could be a little bit cheaper to purchase. It was worth the money spent on it.

I feel that it performance is very good. It is a good size for what you need to put inside. The freezer is a nice size also for storage. It keeps your food nice and cold. The size is good for you to store your food. Even when you go shopping and want to put away your food you will have no problem storing the things. The freezer hold a lot also. A nice size. I like the look. A good size - doesnt look too big or too small. Just the right size for a nice size kitchen. I like the color. It fits the color of the kitchen. Very happy with my choice. It was a good price for this size. I feel it was a good value when I bought it. I dont think the amount I paid was too much for what I got. A very good value.

The refrigerator is a very high quality product and its very useful as well. I really enjoyed my product and still using it. The size is very big and room and its enough space to put everything you need to put in it and I will buy it again. I will also recommend this to anyone that is willing to buy one. Very nice looking and very beautiful color as well. I would let this be my first choice before I look for anything else and just bought my mom one. It has a very great value to it and I also believe that the values never goes down on this product. Anyone will love it and I will always own this product as well.

We had it many years ago and it was a good refrigerator. We had it for many years. We were very pleased with the refrigerator. I know that they dont make them like they used to. Our refrigerator was just the right size for us. It had enough room in it that we were able to keep everything in it that we needed to. The freezer was also big enough that it worked well for us. The appearance of our refrigerator was very nice. It looked very nice and fit very well in our kitchen. When the front of it would get hand prints on, it was very easy to clean and take care of. Our Kenmore refrigerator was a very good refrigerator. We never had a problem with it and it was pretty maintenance free. For the price that we paid for it, it was definitely a great value.

I bought a narrow depth Kenmore Elite refrigerator in 2004. It was a $2200 fridge because of its size. I removed all of the shelves to clean it last night. It has little cracks all over the back, inside wall! Why would this happen? Is there a recall?

I recently bought a Kenmore refrigerator to be exact 5 months ago and its already not working! How is this possible? How can you spend your hard earned money on a product that will break down on you in less than 5 months? I called for repairs and was told why I didnt add a protection plan. WHY should I! I shouldnt have to worry about something so expensive breakdown on me so fast. After throwing away all the food that went bad I had to wait 4 days for a technician. I was greeted with a very smelly, rude and ignorant man that did nothing but tell me that he needed to order a motor and left.I called Sears Repair and was told I had to wait another 3-5 days for the motor to come in and then... Make an appointment for another technician to come in. So what do I do for food? Eat out a can for a week? Will I be reimburse for all the breakfast, lunch and dinners I have to pay for until they fix my broken down expensive new refrigerator? I am beyond disappointed with this issue. I will gladly forward my receipt if requested but at this time I do not have it. Item was bought at Sears (Cottman Plaza) in Northeast Philadelphia PA on 8/7/2016.

The refrigerator is a good entry-level model. It keeps things cold, and has a freezer. I havent had any issues with temperature and it does what I expect it to. Its a standard size refrigerator, but the freezer seems a little smaller than I would expect. It is a straight-forward white refrigerator, and does not look as expensive as the more expensive models with stainless steel, etc. The refrigerator is a respectable model and a good value for the cost.

My refrigerator performed consistently well. It was very reliable and incredibly easy to clean. The size was good. It fit well into my kitchen and didnt take up too much room, but it was large enough to hold enough food and beverages for my family. It was well laid out and easy to organize and keep tidy. It was a very good value and I was very happy with the purchase. I definitely got my moneys worth. Overall, this refrigerator was simple, unobtrusive and didnt stand out. I didnt mind this at all, but if someone were looking for something stylish they might want to consider another model.

Good cooling system. I would recommend this product to anyone anytime. I had this product for over 8 years. It is very spacious as well. I am loving the new one I got last week. I also have a Kenmore freezer and its working fine, no problem.

For the first few years, the refrigerator worked really well. However, for a few months the refrigerator would get very cold. Once the part was replaced, it worked great again. The refrigerator has a lot of room and accommodates all of the food we can fit into it. However, the freezer is pretty small; therefore, we struggle to fit all of our frozen foods into the freezer. The fridge is very sleek and looks great in our kitchen. It is not overly shiny (which is good because it is a white fridge) and blends well with our white kitchen. I would buy this brand again! We have gotten a lot of life out of our fridge. Therefore, the price we paid was well worth the investment because it has required minimal repairs over the years.

I purchased model 75523 bottom freezer Kenmore refrigerator on 11/26/2004. It has been serviced three times not including the recent service, which concluded the compressor was blown. Now what? Does Sears have any program set up for such failures of their appliances? I cant afford to replace this 7 year old fridge, what alternatives are available to consumers? There were no special drawers or shelves, and nothing could be customized. There was nothing digital on the fridge. It was small, and it was hard to fit enough food in there for a family of four, but we made it work. The fridge and freezer were both very cold, and in the 7 years we had it, we never had any repairs done. With a family of four, it was hard to find space in the fridge for everything. I used a lot of stacking Tupperware to make extra space. The door shelves were narrow, and would not hold 2 liters or a gallon of milk, but most of our condiments fit there fine. It was simple, white, no frills. I wish there had been a shelf in the freezer, and that the door handle was not textured so it didnt hold dirt so badly. For the price paid, I was very happy with this fridge. It was plain and basic, but functional, and served its purpose. It kept food cold.
