I purchased an Amana refrigerator 3 years ago and so soon the compressor went out. I had a 4-year warrant from Home Depot. Some guy, he was not with Home Depot but from an appliance repair store, they hired came out and he was very rude. I would ask him a question about the freon and he would shrug his shoulders. I think this was because he is white and I'm Spanish. Lately, since the apartments next door have been empty for a year, roaches have come to my home from there. Because I keep up on roach control, we did not have them before. He found two roaches on the floor and put down we were infested, which we are not. Now Home Depot says they will not fix it. But another repair person says that’s absurd. Even if you have them roaches, they can not get in the compressor.I blame Amana for making cheap refrigerators. Did you know they put cardboard to cover the back of the refrigerator? And I blame Home Depot for not delivering what they agreed. We are going to have to put another tent over our house to get rid of the roaches.

Hello, we purchased the Samsung 30.5 CuFt French Door Refrigerator Stainless Steel Model Number RF31FMESBSR in June 2013. It looks like there is some manufacturing defect as we see the water leakage and rust on the backside of the refrigerator. Thus anyone else is facing similar issues? We had 1-year manufacturer warranty and 60 months protection plan from Home Depot; however, in this specific issue it was a little difficult to notice the problem since it was on the backside of the refrigerator and as you know how many people go and look at the backside of the refrigerator once its install. As per the Samsung service company, other consumers also had similar issues. However, Samsung is not taking any actions to resolve the issue citing the refrigerator is out of warranty.

I bought a Frigidaire fridge last January. It had a warped freezer door. After waiting for months with no part availability, I was extended a buyback letter. I filled it out and sent it back before the expiration date. I’ve been waiting for the refund since September and have never received it even though it is only supposed to take a few weeks to complete. I’ve made numerous phone calls, but just keep getting the runaround. In a few weeks, it will be a year that I’ve been dealing with this. It’s ridiculous and I cannot find anyone that will answer an email or help me resolve this. I had to pay more money out of pocket to have a working fridge.

Model 10673206300 - mom and I purchased this in 2005. Was told by salesman that this should last without problems for 15 to 20 yrs. Explained to clerk that week - really needed something to suit our needs. We are both disabled and live on a fixed income. We purchased the warranty and early on in 2005, the drawers had to be replaced. For the past month the fridge has leaked off and on. We attempted to repair but was unable. Called sears today - they want $75.00 to diagnose and was also told it would probably be $200.00. Or I could sent Sears $39.99 monthly and pay only $60.00 for the diagnosis. I was struck by the fact that the first question asked by automated system is ...is fridge leaking? Lets me know that sears is aware of this defective product. NEVER AGAIN Will I BUY FROM SEARS.

We bought an LG LFX31925ST French Door refrigerator in January 2012. It has operated flawlessly. Both my wife and I have frequently commented on what a great purchase this was. We recently observed a periodic error message indicating that a freezer fan was failing. Since I don't expect anything mechanical to run forever, I was happy that the product pointed me to the likely problem with an error message. I was impressed that I was easily able to download owner and repair manuals online, and that part diagrams and the parts themselves were readily available from numerous sources. We ordered the needed part and removing the freezer drawer and replacing the back wall with new sensor and fans was a $100 repair that took 45 minutes at most.We have owned refrigerators in the past that required a new ice maker every year. Our LG ice maker is now more than 5 years old and with daily use still works perfectly. I'm sold on LG products. I don't have the receipt anymore, but these are the registration details: Model Number: LFX31925ST. Serial Number: 106KREL0F452. Purchase Date: 01/12/2012.

We purchased a Samsung refrigerator from sears labor day. Freezer never worked get cold. Was told it was the settings. In Jan water in crisper tray, no ice, followed by flooded floor. This is the short story of it. 6 visits from repairman and still not fixed. Samsung just gives us the run around and now after 1 yr they are using that now to say SEE YA.... Ridiculous. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM SAMSUNG!!!! Sears is an issue too. They did nothing to help!!!!!! I will not shop for any appliances at Sears. Buy local.

LSFXC2476S - Purchased from a local appliance dealer not a big box store a complete suite of LG Studio appliances and within 7th month the freezer has frost all over and ice laying in base floor of freezer compartment. Upon calling for service they say, "Warm air getting in. Must be bad gaskets." Really in 7 months and open 2 times a day? Then, "Is it level?" I say, "Really are you kidding me?" Then they can't find a service person in a 14 mile radius and they will call me back in 3 to 5 days. If I were sick and wait 3-5 days I might be dead by. Don't they think the food will be spoiled in there by then and will they pay the allotted $400 for food spoilage?

This was a counter depth side by side refrigerator and had lots of room, water and ice in the door. Glass adjustable shelves with lots of built in special compartments too. During the 23 years I had it the only thing I had to do was change out the ice maker tray. Very well made. It is still working today in someone else's kitchen.
