When it is running you can barely hear it (very quiet.) It is 4 years old. Never and never had a problem with it. It cleans very well and is It is well worth the money I paid for it. Sears named it correctly ELITE. I would recommend buying the Kenmore Elite stainless steel dishwasher.

The performance of my dishwasher was fantastic. It washes clean and doesnt leave any residue behind or soap scum. It washes my dishes fast and gets them clean on the first cycle. The dishwasher works okay, but after 60 days, it did not want to come on. We had to call a repairman to get it working again. I sometimes wish we didnt get it. The size is fine for me. It not too large or too small for our kitchen. We dont eat at home often so we dont need a large dishwasher. We only have a small amount of dishes to wash. We have black colored appliances in our kitchen. The color of the dishwasher fits in perfectly. It has a modern look which enhance the appearance. Im not happy about the value. The dishwasher came pre-installed in the home we purchased so we did not have a say in the purchase. But we kept it because of its energy efficiency and the knowledge we had of Kenmore being awesome products. My Kenmore had an energy efficient rating which saved money by heating the water internally instead of using hot water from the water heater. It was also a great name brand we knew and trusted. However, the racks in the dishwasher needed to be bigger and easier to organize. New dishwashers have a silverware rack built in which would have been great. The shelves also needed to be further apart for large glasses.

I like the easy to use buttons, all the different kind of settings to clean and dry the dishes, prewash, and the easy open and lock of the door. However, I dislike the noise it makes when the dishes are washing. I wish it were quiet and when it switched cycles it didnt click or make noises as well. It has been running for a really long time without any issues. We use it as an overflow fridge from our main fridge now. It is super spacious and weve never had a problem with it. It holds main dishes but it also holds a lot of leftovers and larger food items. Its pretty but not too big. It just kind of looks like an old fridge. There isnt anything exciting about it. Over the years, the white has gotten really dirty and it looks very dated now. We dont keep it in a main room or entertaining room, just hidden. I did not purchase the dishwasher. It happened to come with the home I purchased. However that being said I was not displeased with the appliance as I knew Kenmore was a trusted brand in appliances. There was an On/off switch for the heat for the dry cycle. It was programmable for delayed wash and the dishwasher was also large capacity with a roomy interior and easy to load dish racks. Kenmore is a brand that I know and trust from my youth into my adult age. With that and my understanding and research of other brands, I decided to move forward with the brand I trusted most. All of the features of the dishwasher appeal to me as I had a dumb basic dishwasher previously that could barely operate, so just the basic fact that this operated was a huge improvement over my previous dishwasher. It is cheap and simple but it could improve to work more towards automation and clean smart washing of dishes to allow for varying loads which use the most efficient water based on load. And on smart cleaning, if it could sense and focus on items which it may see as the most dirty for more cleaning than the other dishes.

Model 665.1396 Although this dishwasher cleaned very well and is super quiet, the first year the something needed to be replaced under warranty. The second, a part of the rack dry rotted and I bought the part on eBay for $25 and fixed it. The third year, the thermocouple went and again I replaced it myself. $50. This is the fourth year weve had this and the control panel wont light and looks like it is one of two $130 parts. I give up and will be looking for a new dishwasher. I wont cry when Sears goes out of business. Raise your quality manufacturing standards and stand behind your products. So obvious, I dont know what CEOs get paid for.

Simple function, cleaned dishes really well, easy to use, energy-efficient and fast drying time, easy to load, very little leaking, easy for children to load and unload. It was big enough to hold and clean my familys everyday dish use. It sometimes had to separate the really dirty pots and pans from the dinnerware. It blended well into the rest of the kitchen. Easy wipe down. Really up to date looking but not standing out. Easy to match with my existing appliances. I thought it was a little pricey but the price was worth the quality of the machine. Very little maintenance cost and upkeep. I guess paying for the brand is worth it.

The Kenmore Dishwasher was highly feasible, worked really well, cleaned really good and left very little soap suds or spots on the dishes. It was also strong, could count on it to clean good the first time most occasions. However, the motor played out on it and it generally never seemed like it was gonna lasts, cleaned powerfully and well until the motor burned out and was expensive. I buy most all of my brands from Kenmore, had sufficient space and generally worked well over than the motor not lasting that long as other dishwashers, but definitely gave the dishes a powerful clean.

I bought a Kenmore dishwasher 18 years ago, but rarely being used as I live alone. I used it for some guests not long ago, the programming has been messed. There is instruction about how to reboot the programs in case it is not working. Sears is famous in eager to send you repair person to get your money instead of putting instruction in manual regarding this problem. They do not offer online or on phone tech support like other big item companies do. No wonder so many Sears are out of business now as their customer support is extremely poor. Just do not buy their product in the future!

Nozzles are ideally placed to hit all items, regardless of how badly stacked. The Normal routine is a little longer than what I thought is necessary but Im sure there was copious research involved. The utensil tray is a little small but is movable to accommodate larger pots on the bottom shelf if needed. This dishwasher is super quiet. Trays are nicely separated to accommodate the majority of dishes. Wash arms are recessed to allow full use of space. Stainless steel stains easily. I would never purchase stainless steel appliances again, especially a dishwasher. Door must be opened to access pause button. Noisy with original sound blanket. If you have another, install that to lighten the noise. Overall, a great dishwasher that steadily performs up to two loads a day, 365 days a year.

One day after my warranty was up, my one year old dishwasher died. I contacted Kenmore, and was told, Tough luck. I spoke with a manager, and was told the same. We bought a Kenmore Dishwasher in October at Sears because we believed at the time there was no consumer retailer with a more trusted name that a consumer could rely upon. NEVER AGAIN. We will NEVER SHOP AT SEARS AGAIN FOR ANYTHING AND WOULD LIKE TO WARN ALL CONSUMERS TO STAY AWAY AS WELL. Our brand new Kenmore worked middling well for the first few weeks, then we began to notice our dishes were not getting clean. We carefully went over the manual and adjusted several things: added more Jet-Dry so the dispenser was full, adjusted the knob for the Jet-Dry to maximum; moved the silverware holder so the soap dispenser would have no interference. But even with that, the dishes were not washing properly. A repairman came to the house on December 28th. He made a few adjustments, and left. We tried again, and once again, our dishes did not clean. The soap dispenser ejected the soap, but the soap landed at the very top of the dishwasher and sat there like a lump of coal. It did not dissolve. So I called again. Now, I had to wait until January 10th. Today. Thirteen days for a repairman. I asked to speak with a manager and was told there was nothing anyone could do. Sears is apparently short on repairmen. So today I received a call from Sears. My repair had been injured on the job. My appointment was cancelled. Next available date-- JANUARY 22ND. My brand new dishwasher that had NEVER worked properly was going to have to wait now ANOTHER TWELVE DAYS. AND THERE WAS NOTHING NO ONE COULD DO!!! I spoke to at least FIVE ADDITIONAL PEOPLE. And you are speaking to day players here. No one in a position of power. Customer no-service. No with a STAKE in SEARS. No one who gives a damn about you, or the company. The last woman I spoke with told me to stop yelling. I wasnt yelling, I told her. I was adamant. And so, welcome to Corporate America. This is what happens when companies get too big TO CARE. I cant even give the thing back b/c their return policy is 30 days. NOTHING BREAKS DOWN IN THE FIRST 30 DAYS! So we are stuck. Even if this damn thing gets fixed, it is a vastly inferior machine than we had before. So, stay away. Just stay away from sears altogether.Updated on 02/05/2018: Whatever you do, do not buy from Sears. We are on repairman THREE. As soon as he arrived, he got on the phone. Repair via telecommuting. Dishwasher bought in late October worked for 2 weeks. It is now February. The motor stopped working in two weeks. First repairman who was condescending diddled with the computer and did not discover the broken motor. Repairman two did, but parts had to be ordered. Repairman Three is here now, telecommuting. Any bets on if I get a working dishwasher? Customer service is ineffectual and rude. I went to Sears because Sears used to a name that could be trusted. No more. Stay away.

Got dishes and pots and pans very clean and dried very well also. And ran very quietly, hardly ever heard it running. It was standard size --held a lot of dishes and pots and pans. Could almost fit every thanksgiving dinner stuff in--in one wash. Never had a problem with it cleaning or drying. Wish I still had it. It was standard size white in color. Came with our place. Big enough for our family of five. I would recommend it to anyone who hates to wash dishes. I cant say what it cost, it came with our trailer, but it was worth its weight in gold to me. Never had one issue with it. Always worked very well.

The Kenmore dishwasher is built 2015. We got a digital control panel and has automatic wash and drying cycles. It is also stainless steel and very modern looking. However, I dont like that the Kenmore dishwasher does not have the option just to steam dry or just dry heat the plates. It has to run a complete cycle until you use this feature. Nevertheless, Kenmore Elite is always the brand I try to buy with all my kitchen and home appliances. They are the brand that I trust and has good ratings and customer services.

My overall experience with it was okay, but after a little over a year, it started leaking water everywhere. Thankfully it was still under warranty then, but still would not expect something to go wrong with it for just a year’s worth of use. It was big enough to fit all of our needs just fine, and we have a family of four. Never had an issue with the space with it at all. Overall, the outside of the unit is very nice, because I got the stainless steel one to match all of my other appliances in the house. Inside, it looks like any other dishwasher. The value was alright, not a real big deal and not a real big price either. But overall, I would say that it was okay for what I had to pay for it.

The dishwasher was capable of cleaning the toughest of dirty dishes. It was not an energy hog nor does it make a lot of noise. Fortunately for me this dishwasher was already in the house when I purchased it. I am looking forward to upgrading eventually but I havent come close to needing to replace it yet! I am not sure how much it cost when purchased but, looking at the various models to upgrade, it seems like it would be a decent value.

I use the dishwasher a lot, had no problem with it, and no repairs needed. It cleans dishes great. Used cascade with it, cleans everything off and no water spots. It fits all of my items inside and fits right beside my sink. Great with pans and pots, work amazingly well with glasses, and the sliding tray is a lifesaver. The size and the appearance are great. Outside needs to be cleaned sometimes but it looks great with the overall kitchen decor. Cleaning it with soap and water usually does the trick but doesnt get that dirty that often. The dishwasher works great, and has a great height and width. It would sell for a good price. I love it.

After I was using it for a while I figured that the price I was paying for it and from what I was told by the salesman that would be a good dishwasher but unfortunately it turned out not to be that way for the price.

The Kenmore is a good product. I also have a Kenmore washer every machines. My Kenmore is a good dishwasher. Everything comes out clean and shining. Plus it keeps the inside of the dishwasher nice and clean and there is no smell in the dishwasher before use, start the load of dishes and after the load is finish. But the dishwasher could be a different color. Instead of black, it could be red to match the microwave.

Cleans dishes and pots great. Its very easy to use and never had a problem or issue with this product. Very reasonably priced for this type of product. Kenmore brands are great quality products. For the price of this dishwasher the appearance is very comparable to other brands although its a little tough keeping the fingerprints off the door. I would have preferred a larger one however I did not have the space available for it in my home. However everything fits into the dishwasher with ease. I would highly recommend this product.

Its washed the dishes really well. Never had to double wash. I loved it and I definitely had no complaints. Just use the right dishwasher detergent. It fit well in the spot it was place. The microprocessor control becomes confused at times because some buttons emulate several features. That causes the dishwasher microprocessor to scramble at times. Very frustrating having to wait for it to internally reset! Not enough buttons to properly control the dishwasher features.

The size of this dishwasher is perfect. There is always more than enough room to fit any dishes we have used for the last day or two, and plenty of room left over. The Kenmore Dishwasher is a good value for the price that you pay. It functions well, it is almost completely quiet & it does a pretty good job. Sometimes I would have to rerun the dishwasher a second time but for the most part it did clean everything the first time I would run it. It also fit everything that it needed to. Sometimes there was not enough room for a large plate or anything but that wasnt a huge issue. I would probably get one a bit bigger in the future. It looks clean and it is easy to clean too. It blends in with the other cabinets well. I like the color that I chose. The lines were clean. I think that it looks very nice and I would get another one.

Various cycles: China, Pots/Pans, light wash, water miser. 2 racks with flatware basket that sits in the bottom rack. Can hold 20 cups/glasses on top rack and 20 plates and more on bottom. Holds pots well, has two rows of prongs that will lie flat for bigger pans to fit. This is an in the counter dishwasher and all that shows is the front. It is white and is yellowing slightly. I have had it for about 15 years. The bottom basket is metal covered in rubber. The prongs are breaking and to replace the basket would be cost prohibitive. I will have to replace the dishwasher. The basket would have been better had it been a good molded all plastic.

I always grew up with Kenmore products in our house. My grandparents always wanted to buy the best quality of everything. I carried on that tradition and have always stuck with the Kenmore name. However, after my last 3 appliances going out on me, THAT WERE ALL KENMORE, I will never buy Kenmore again! I also got terrible customer service that could not do anything. My 1 1/2 year old Kenmore refrigerator freezes everything on the top 2 shelves, no matter how high I put the temp, AND the ice hardly makes any ice. You get about 8 cups every 24 hours!!!My Kenmore Elite Dishwasher (was a great dishwasher while it ran), BUT all of a sudden it started making a VERY loud noise and it is so loud, you cant hear someone talking in the kitchen, I have never heard anything like it from a dishwasher! My Kenmore Elite Microwave suddenly made a really loud pop noise and it smelled like it caught on fire! Customer Service said there was a recall on the refrigerator, so they made an appointment for a technician to come out. THEY NEVER SHOWED UP!!! So I called back and they said now the computer would not allow them to make an appointment for me. I spent over 2 hours on the phone trying to get to supervisors to help me. NO HELP!!! I AM SO DISAPPOINTED WITH YOU KENMORE!!! I will never buy another Kenmore item.

Did the job and never had any maintenance performed while living at the address. Consistent with other Kenmore appliances. Very reliable. Standard capacity accommodates the average kitchen utensils. No problems fitting in pots and pans. Top shelf held dishes, bowls and glasses. Plain front standard white. Easy to clean and did not stain. User controls were tilted at an angle towards the user. The drain was easy to clear when needed. Better value than an entry level washer. It did perform at a reasonable volume while also cleaning the dishes. Had no issues with dishes coming out dirty.

Sometimes I have to prewash some dishes depending on what kind of food was on them. The dishwasher works better with nonsticky dishes. The size is about average. It cleaned the dishes amazingly. I have never seen my dishes so clean. The process was quick and efficient. I highly recommend this dishwasher if you want your dishes clean. It is an alright size but it could fit most of my dishes but some I had to wait to do them separate. This shouldnt stop you from getting it. So what if it doesnt fit all of the dishes, it fits most. Though the performance is great the design was slacking big time. It could look so much better but dont judge a book by its cover. The appearance shouldnt throw you off too much. This is one of the best dishwashers Ive owned. Its quiet while getting the job done. Ive never had any problems. It does its job and then some. Highly recommend. The size is not an issue. Fits in perfectly with any theme and doesnt stand out too much. While it is a little pricey, it does pay for itself in no time. It works wonderfully! It cleans thoroughly with few dishwashing marks or dish detergent film. Dries fairly well, wish it was a little better but could be worse so no complaints. Size is wonderful, holds lots of dishes and cutlery. Still have to do a couple of loads but having a huge family that is expected. But I love this dish washer! Very nice, slick design. The Kenmore is a great dishwasher. I like the space inside and the way it cleans. My dishes always come out clean and I can fit a lot in it. However, its a bit awkward in the way all the dishes sit in the bottom. It is easy to bump into and start. I would make it so it is not so easy to bump into and turn on. But other than that, the Kenmore Dishwasher was a good price for a top rated company. We have had Kenmore before and were really happy with how it held up and how long it lasted, with very minimal repairs.

I chose this machine because of its reputation. I researched brand, and Kenmore had wonderful reviews. People were happy with most models and long performance. I really like how my Kenmore dishwasher has several cycles to wash the dishes. I can do a quick clean, or the ultimate scrub that lasts 99 minutes. It’s the longest cycle that sanitized the dishes. I like that cycle, but dont always need it. I could use one right below it, about 70 minutes, that still scrubs, but maybe not sanitize.

This dishwasher is awesome! It can get any dried food off of any dish we put in it! It fits cookie sheets, large bowls, we can put lots of plastic that we recycle in the top shelf and it cleans so well! I love this dishwasher! Its was full size that fitted under my sink and it was silver and had a full speed wash load and hot or cold wash load and you didnt have to use a lot of dishwashing soap for it. The overall of my dishwasher was good for me when I had dinner parties, birthday parties, sleepovers for my kids. Just loved it so much. You should get one build in. The value was good for me. I only 3600 for it and my husband installed it for me so I saved a lot of money on my dishwasher and Im going to get another in my new home next week so its was good for my family.

The Kenmore dishwasher does everything that I need a dishwasher to do which is to clean my dishes so I do not have to do them by hand. As a retired disabled American veteran with injuries from Vietnam the simple settings for washing dishes makes it easy for me to use. The settings are easy to understand and apply. It has been very dependable too. I have only had a repairman from Sears come to my condo only once and that was to replace the circuit board that had been fried from an electrical surge.

Its fast wash and gets very hot. Dishes are always spotless. Plenty of room for everything. It takes the gel packs which is much easier. Its not too loud at all. I cant complain. Its the perfect size for my household. It doesnt take up too much room. But it fits our daily dishwashing needs. And there are spots for silver, bowls, flat dishes and its not all clanging against each other. Looks modern, suits my kitchen perfectly with my other items in the kitchen. Its easy to keep clean. I spray Windex on it and wipe it down and it shines nicely. I actually get comments on the look. It was a little costly but everything is going up in price. Times are tough but for the machine it was worth it. Other brands were much more expensive for similar sizes. It works great so I cant complain about it and the price was worth it.

I would not get another water heater from Sears. My hot water heater is seven years old and started leaking with two years left on the warranty. I had no hot water and had water all over the basement floor and called a local plumber to replace the tank so we can shower, wash dishes etc. When I called the warranty department, the service rep. notified me that because I had the tank changed with a new one, the warranty for the existing tank is void, even though I have the pictures of standing water in the basement and the defective water tank is still in the basement. Please, what should I have done? Have the water tank leak and do more damage to my basement and have no hot water for a week until your tech gets there? This is a joke of a hot water heater warranty. Go buy your next hot water tank from Lowes or Home Depot, you are much better off.
