Product Reviews:

Just bought a new Bosch one week ago. Terrible installation. The machine was left with lots of water in it. And a HORRIBLE SMELL! I was also dismayed by the extremely small amount of dishes that could be loaded due to the small spaces between the tines and the direction of them. I could not get anywhere near the same load in as my great whirlpool prior to this. I usually do one load a week or less. I filled the washer to try as the manual says the product comes with a smell!! Really! Could the installer or salesman explain this or say what to do about it? Then after the load it was still wet inside and still stinks. I've had it and it's only been 5 days.

It saves me time and money and is great for all families especially big families. I love the fact that I can make anything and at the end of the day, I don't have to clean dishes. The size is almost perfect. My family size is big so I love the fact that I can put many dishes into my dishwasher. I can cook lots of things because my dishwasher can handle lots of dishes. It is amazing! The appearance isn't really a big deal to me just as long as it gets the job done. I love the fact that my dishwasher is silver so it blends in with anything. My dishwasher value is perfect. I love its incredible cleaning skills. I love the color. I love the size. I'd totally go recommend it to anyone. It's great.

This is a very efficient dish machine. It is very quiet and works extremely well. It is easy to load with lots of room. The dishes and pots come very clean. Plenty of room. It fits all our pots and pans and dishes for our large family. It is very spacious for all our holiday dishes and utensils. Racks are very versatile and can fit a lot. Very sleek and very modern. Many colors to choose. This unit will look great in any kitchen. I was pleased with the appearance of the appliance and very affordable and looks great. This dishwashing unit is very quiet and very spacious for the price. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good machine that cleans well. I highly value this dishwashing unit and would buy again in future if needed.

We purchased a Whirlpool Overhead microwave and Quiet Dishwasher in May of 2017. Within the first year, the microwave needed new sensors installed. The repair person said this was a design flaw and he was getting many calls. Then at 13 months, the dishwasher wouldn't drain. The repair person fixed the problem and left reset directions because this can commonly happen. Now at 18 months later, the drainage problem won't resolve even with the reset. Whirlpool extended the warranty by 6 months but won't cover this repair. Two appliances, two problems. Don't buy Whirlpool.

A little over 2 years ago I purchased a Samsung dishwasher. It has been the worst dishwasher I have ever experienced and never would I ever buy any other product with the Samsung name on it. It has been nothing but problems. The old one was far better. Tomorrow I intend to go elsewhere to purchase a more reliable dishwasher and send this one to the scrap heap.

My wife and I bought a KitchenAid Dishwasher, Model KDTE334DSS, just about two years ago. The top rack on this appliance is the biggest piece of GARBAGE I've ever seen in an appliance, and has been falling apart since we bought it, and paid close to $1000 with installation and delivery. The entire rack system is supported by chintzy/cheap plastic parts that constantly break. Now the control panel is not working so we can't run it. The repairman tells us the part is $250, without installation, BUT IS ON BACK ORDER WITH NO DATE LISTED FOR AVAILABILITY. To make matters worse, I call KitchenAid and the arrogant response I get is "there's nothing we can do to help you", and when I ask why a part for a two year old appliance is on back order, and if there's a problem, I'm told it's because "it's a popular" dishwasher.I ask to speak to a supervisor and I'm told "sure" but then get hung up on. KitchenAid products are clearly GARBAGE and KitchenAid employees will treat you like GARBAGE. Reminds me how the US auto industry lost so much consumer confidence. I will NEVER buy any other KitchenAid product and wouldn't shed a tear if they went out of business...

My original GE dishwasher that came with our house finally crapped out after about 8 years of use in 2007. Bought a Maytag from Home Depot for around $400. Don't remember the model number. It worked okay but then in the middle of 2010 we got a letter in the mail saying our machine was being recalled because the heating element might catch fire (!!!). The recall gave us the option of getting it fixed or getting a $150 rebate. We chose the rebate option so we trashed this dishwasher and went back to Home Depot to buy another one.We found a very nice Maytag with the stainless steel tub and the racks with the lifetime warranty against corrosion (which was good because our previous Maytag had started to leave rust on our dishes because the plastic on the tips of the rack tines was starting to come off), model #MDBA979AWB1, serial #FY2501885. The one we found was a no-box display model but it had all the accessories with it and still had the factory warranty. We got it for just over $300 and with our rebate applied we were out the door for under $200 including tax. I installed it myself and didn't have any issues for quite some time. My wife and I were both very happy with how clean the dishes got! Now, last night the dishwasher wouldn't start. I checked it out this morning, made sure it had power and was able to get some lights on the control panel to light up but still couldn't get it to start. Looks like I've been victimized by the control board as most of these complaints have said. I guess I should consider us lucky since ours seems to have lasted longer than the average 18 months to 2 years. Will be contacting Maytag and Home Depot to see what they can do but after reading all these negative reviews I'm not hopeful.

We purchased the Samsung Water Wall Dishwasher approx 2 Months ago. The cycle started pausing and the door was open. We asked our daughter if she had opened the dishwasher door during the night. She gave us this funny look and “No I did not touch the dishwasher”. We ran another load of dirty dishes a couple of days later and noticed that there was saw dust particles on the door. The kitchen counter top is swelling up from the steam/moisture that is leaking through the door. I emailed the company that sold me the dishwasher to let them know that I am having problems with the dishwasher that they sold me. This is what they said, "We are sorry to hear that there is a problem with the unit you received. Your product comes with a 1 year manufacturer warranty. When a service technician comes to your home, they will repair the unit for free. In addition, the manufacturer will not authorize a replacement unit until one of their service technicians deems the unit unrepairable. Please contact Samsung to schedule a repair at 800-726-7864. We apologize for the inconvenience."I contacted Samsung to let them know that the dishwasher had damaged the kitchen counter-top due to the door leaking steam/moisture through the door. Samsung asked me to get a professional licensed contractor to give me a quote of what the damage would cost to repair the damage and to send them some pictures. I have sent them the pictures, I am struggling to find a professional licensed contractor to give me a quote, they are not real interested with dealing with this issue. I have asked the seller and the manufacturer for my "Money Back". There are endless dissatisfied reviews that describe the door opening and water leaking on the floor. One person mentioned in their review that they had to use a chair and a box of kitty litter to keep the door closed during a wash cycle. The door is flimsy and the door latch is wimpy that pretty much sums it up.

Although the dishwasher seems to function well the dishes do not appear to be cleaned thoroughly. I feel like this so purpose of the dishwasher is to clean the dishes and about 50% of my dishware appears cloudy dirty and not to the level of cleanliness I would expect from a machine that washes dishes. It may be a combination of dishwasher itself or the product used within the dishwasher. I consider most dishwashers to be rather bare and ugly because it's built to perform and not to decorate one’s house. But I have no complaints regarding its appearance. If it was any bigger it would look ridiculous in our kitchen. Seems at times to be too small or too big depending on the need. But it's regular standard size, one that must've been thought through and researched by the Kenmore manufacturers.

To KitchenAid Dishwashers: Compliments and thanks! KitchenAid has stepped up big time, so I want to update my November 7 negative review of dishwasher model # KDFE204EWH. This morning, we got a very nice phone call from KitchenAid’s customer care people. They will pay for the part replacement and the installation labor. In a happy coincidence, their local authorized service operation happens to be the same (first-rate) dealer we bought the dishwasher from, so I know the follow-through will be there. Two takeaways: At least one of the “squawking platforms” that we used for our complaining this past week did the trick, so complain widely! And It likely also helped that we promptly registered our purchase with KitchenAid, so they already had all the details.
