DO NOT BUY KENMORE DISHWASHERS. Ours (Kenmore Ultra Wash Dishwasher) quit working after 20 months of use. We did not buy the extended warranty because we thought it should last at least 5 years before anything would break. Wrong. I have called the customer care phone numbers several times. Did not get anyone that speaks fluent English. Very frustrating. And they keep forwarding you to a different area.THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER. I found out had we bought the 5 year warranty it would only cover the services call(s) 100%. Had you needed new parts for you appliance you would get $25% off of the part but you the customer would have to pay 75%. Our particular part that is bad costs $156 plus tax and shipping so we still would of ended up paying like $140 dollars to maybe get it up and running again. Sears stores are closing but they still plan to sell Kenmore online so do not make the same mistake we did. Enough said.

This dishwasher is quiet and thorough, and you can choose settings based on how dirty your dishes are and whether you want to use less water. Its a great machine. We can get all of our everyday use dishes into the dishwasher. We run it abut every two days when its just our three-person family. We cook and eat almost every meal at home, so it is pretty efficient. Its basic white. The buttons for the settings are easy to read. It fits in with the other white appliances in our kitchen. We like the white, because we painted our kitchen to match our tastes. It was neither the cheapest nor the most expensive dishwasher we looked at. It has done a good job for several years. We like that it has options for using less water and for a turbo zone where you can place items that need an extra blast of water for additional cleaning.

I only use the normal or pots/pans settings overnight because they are so long. I cook a lot, so during the day I use the 1 hr quick wash with heat drying. I like the sanitized option and I wished it worked for the 1 hr wash cycle. I wish the dishwasher was quieter, it sounds close the noise my dryer makes.

The dishwasher doesnt drain well and the settings are constantly resetting themselves. After using it for 2 years this dishwasher needs to be replaced because it does not work well at all. It is small to mid-size in my opinion. I think it should be bigger and hold more dishes. Sometimes I feel like I am having to cram dishes in there to make them fit and then they dont come very clean. The color matches well in my kitchen. The dishwasher is white and my cabinets are also. The digital buttons on the front are nice also. I did not purchase this myself so I am not sure what the price is. But I think in the beginning the value wasnt bad. But for it to not hold up well two years later that takes away from the value.

The racks also slide out easily and is easy to operate and add dish washing liquid. The looks is sleek and modern. It has a silver finish and matches out kitchen. It looks like its well made. We bought this unit a little over a year ago from Sears. We bought the extended warranty which was only 1/2 - smart of us. We should have bought some other brand of washer. The warranty took care of the electronic brain that failed last fall, but when we complained about dirty dishes, we were told to send them pictures of the food stains. Give me a break!! We practically prewash every dish before it goes in and they come out dingy looking. Weve tried every detergent and every grade of detergent ever sold and no luck. Some are worse than others. We bought this to replace a KitchenAid that was 17 years old and leaking. I should have just repaired it.

I can fit all of my pots and pans and bowls in this washer. My family and friends are always amazed by the amount of dishes Im able to do in one load. Its enormous! The steel finish is so beautiful. Not only is the finish impeccable, but its easy to clean and doesnt keep fingerprints like my other steel appliances. This dishwasher was a great deal. Sears and Kenmore both made it easy for me to cross them off my list for future appliance purchases. If I cant trust them with a small appliance like a microwave, I know I wont be able to trust them with a large purchase. No one should have to replace a microwave after just two years, especially when its kept in pristine condition. My microwave was great when it worked, easy to clean and large interior. Then it started rotating and heating when I opened the door (dangerous). Then when door was closed, food was placed inside and you would expect it to heat something, it would instead countdown and nothing happened. Only thing that worked was the timer.For months I contacted Kenmore on FB privately showing them video of both issues and their response was basically, Im sorry for your troubles, theres nothing we can do. I have a dishwasher with another company that messed up and they actually cared about making things right. I wouldve easily bought a replacement, but the dont care attitude keeps me from replacing my Kenmore microwave with another Kenmore microwave. After just 2 years, Id expect more.

Modern and sleek design. The buttons on the front make it appear that youve paid a lot more for the product than what it retails for. Hows great in any kitchen whether your appliances are black or stainless. It is a great value! Real good at getting dishes clean and spotless if you use a decent detergent. Runs through cycles quickly and quietly. It also holds a considerable amount of dishes pot and pans. Fits real snug and never leaks. The size is real helpful. It has two racks and slide it in and out. Pulled quite a few dishes pots and pans get some real clean every time. A lot of silverware and stuff can be put in the separate thing. I love it. The appearance looks great and Id recommend it to anybody because he can get multiple colors and you cant even tell its there. Easy to use controls and no chips on the inside like anything that made a good quality material. I think it was a real good deal and it was affordable. I was able to finance and cant beat the price.

4 full-suites of Kenmore kitchen appliances purchased for apartment complex sat unopened in boxes at job site for 2 months due to construction delays. 3 dishwashers were installed without incident. 4th dishwasher immediately sparked and started smoking when connected (by licensed electrician). RIDICULOUS SEARS POLICY that the dishwasher cannot be replaced because we had it for more than 30 days. Technician said he had to order 3 parts... Cost of parts very close to original cost of machine & OVER what we paid for the dishwasher if you add-in the labor cost. I want a new machine, I do not trust the integrity of this machine. What is so difficult to see that this machine is DEFECTIVE and should be replaced and not repaired?Ive had to make time for 2 service calls so far and now the parts on BACK-ORDER! Why cant Sears just deliver a new dishwasher! How do we rent the apartment without a working dishwasher??? Will Sears compensate us for loss of rental income and time taken for service calls? Customer Service call center in the PHILIPPINES are nothing more than answering machines, have no authoritative powers or common sense.

I bought it on sale so the price point beat expects in terms of performance. A much better value than my previous GE model which I had very many issues with. It fits nicely with my other appliances. I love it and the stainless steel cleans easy. Wish it was smudge proof but I really cant complain as it works so well. Compact size left me with more under counter storage which was a selling point for me. Its very easy to use, cost-effective, quiet, cleans well, with little pre-treating. I would recommend to anyone looking for a quality dishwasher.

You can easily figure out how to operate it by just touching the panel. My favorite thing is that it is quiet and I never notice any smells coming from it after a few years. The silverware tray is easily removable for larger pot and pans and I can fit small plate in the top very easily. I like that it has so many nooks and hooks so your wine glasses are safely cleaned. It is easy to read and cleans well and keeps it appearance after years of use. It is blends well with other appliance and cleans easily and has an easy to see time schedule. It was a fair price and really like the extended warranty even though we did not need it. We did have a problem once before with a different dishwasher being loud and have a warranty recall and were pleased with this one.

My Kenmore dishwasher was probably one of the best brands of dishwashers Ive ever used! Ive had a couple different ones and they all work great! Theyre very easy and simple to use and understand, look good, and get the job done. My dishwasher was big in size on the inside, meaning it held a lot of my dishes. I could fit all my cookware, plates, pots, cups, and silverware in there with no problems. Also, even with all that stuff in there it still managed to clean all of it! The couple Kenmore dishwashers Ive owned all looked nice in appearance. Even the older ones are still nice looking! The new stainless steel dishwashers are super nice looking! They go with any kitchen. They have white, black, and stainless steel. The value for the Kenmore dishwashers is awesome. For what you pay for them you get your moneys worth. They work great, space efficient, fit a lot of dishes, look good, and theyre not uber expensive!

I prefer chrome exterior or black, because the white shows dirt and grime a little too much for my taste. But as long as youre using the right dish soap or dishwasher fluid then it works like a dream. Clean it regularly if you start to have problems. Im looking at upgrading soon.

I have had a lot of Kenmore products in my home. My refrigerator. My washer and dryer. My hot water heater and both of my microwaves. I like the way I choose to start my Kenmore Dishwasher. You select your cycle, close the door then it goes on. I also like the choice of many cycles. I usually rinse my dishes first so I can use less washing time. However, I would like to be able to put some larger things in the dishwasher. Some of the racks have small adjustments, but I have more than it can handle. It could also be a little quieter. Nevertheless, I have always had a good experience with Kenmore.

I purchased it from Sears because someone was able to help me understand the features and answer my questions about the differences in the various dishwashers and they were on sale. Energy efficiency is a quality that helps my bottom line money. The fact that save energy is huge. Another feature is being able to choose between Smart wash, pots and pans, Normal or 1 hour wash helps. My last dishwasher did not have a pots and pans feature and I hate washing pots. And the stainless steel front is sleek. However, this is not a very quiet dishwasher. I usually start the dishwasher and go to bed and you can hear the dishwasher upstairs. It would be nice to have the sounds absorbed somehow.

The size is enough to load a nights dinner mess and portions of breakfast and lunch. Has handy compartments for silverware and other smaller utensils. The overall appearance of the item is one of something sleek, innovative, but sadly nothing original. Its nice but similar designs can be seen on numerous other products. My old old Kenmore dishwasher bit the dust and I decided to buy another....knowing full well there are only actually about 3 companies that manufacture dishwashers and Kenmore is not one of them. Depending on model and item Kenmore appliances are made by LG, Whirlpool or Frigidaire. A crap shoot. I also purchased a new frig and the salesperson was very clear that “today’s appliances last from 5-7 years.” Wow. That’s encouraging.That said, I will begin with the positives, I bought a Kenmore Elite, a “smart dishwasher” that uses considerably less water than the dishwasher it replaced. Environmentally important to me, but also personally important as we use a water softener/conditioner and the iron removing rock salt we use to make our water passable is spendy stuff. And less water going into our septic system as well. It is also surprisingly quiet. As in, “is this thing running?” The black stainless is nice to look at and doesn’t fingerprint easily. It also cleans well and I love the third rack with the portion that lowers. Great for serving utensils.Here’s my REAL complaint. The bottom rack is shoddily made and the crappy plastic wheels have no actual “track” to run on. The entire rack constantly shifts from left or right and when the rack is full it is very heavy to adjust while searching for the “sweet spot” where the rack will smoothly roll. I keep looking at the manual (a sketchy little booklet at best) to see if there is something I’m missing. How can such a basic thing be so difficult? Pulling the rack out and pushing the rack back in is impossible and the entire rack shifting from side to side is almost guaranteed. Any suggestions? Could there be something missing from the bottom of the rack? Or is is just cheap manufacturing and crappy engineering? I need to figure this out. In truth I’m guessing the manufacturers attitude is to chill out. It’ll need to be replaced in 5 years anyway. Get over it. If NOT for the bottom rack problem I would be happy.

My wife and I built a brand new home two years ago and supplied it with all Kenmore or Kenmore elite appliances. As of today the appliances are barely 2 years old and the washing machine has broke, needs a new control panel and drain pump that is going to take a week or more to come in so we have no washer for at least a week. The dishwasher shuts off mid cycle so I have to have somebody come out for that. The tech told me it is probably an issue with the temp of the water so I have to run the hot water at the sink until it gets hot then run the dishwasher. Really? For two years it worked just fine and now that it is malfunctioning that is the solution they give me? The top of our refrigerator freezer door completely cracked and got worse over time until it eventually all fell off into pieces. This happened by simply opening and closing the door. It looks terrible in our brand new $330k home. When I called Kenmore they said that is cosmetic and wont be taken care of. I am beyond disappointed. We spent thousands of dollars and thought that Kenmore was a great brand until this.Update: The control panel Kenmore is sending me for my washer is now delayed by UPS and UPS is now telling me I may not have the part until late next week. Maybe later. So we will possibly go into 2+ weeks without a washing machine. I have called the Kenmore 1-800-4-my-home number several times and I get nowhere. One agent actually told me if the part does not arrive within 21 days then they will explore other options. As if a two year old washing machine breaking and sending us to the laundromat for 3+ weeks is acceptable. Terrible service!!!

You never have to worry about washing them twice because they always come out clean. The size of my dishwasher is great and very big. It fits all my dishes as well as pots and pans in one wash. You can stuff it full and it will still clean your dishes really great. Ive never had any problems with my dishwasher. The appearance of my dishwasher is great. Its ball and it always looks clean no matter what. I just love it because it matches everything I have in my kitchen because black pretty much matches everything and I would recommend this to anyone and everyone. The value of my dishwasher is great because I got a lifetime warranty on mine which means if it ever breaks I get to take it back and get it replaced by a new one. However, I dont like that the Kenmore dishwasher does not have the option just to steam dry or just dry heat the plates. It has to run a complete cycle until you use this feature. Nevertheless, Kenmore Elite is always the brand I try to buy with all my kitchen and home appliances. They are the brand that I trust and has good ratings and customer services.

I have had very few problem at all with this dishwasher or any of my Kenmore appliances. Also, Kenmore always has very appealing and attractive looking appliances as well as performing very adequately and effectively. Always a safe bet with this brand.I got a good deal at a store on the dishwasher, it was not overly complicated to install. It always cleaned dishes very efficiently and well. It had a good amount of space and the racks were formatted well for my dishes. It is also easy to operate and the required soap is easy to find. However, when the dishwasher gets hard water stains or soap scum, I have found that the self cleaning cycle was not adequate. I tried to run it several times but had to scrub the racks and walls by hand, its a bit of chore. I am not knowledgeable enough to say of this is the case with all dishwashers, but the dishwasher has performed exceptionally otherwise. All in all, the dishwasher has exceeded all my expectations. I am very pleased with the Kenmore brand. Its always a great convenience and reliable appliance.

I would like to see Kenmore design a dishwasher where the top rack was not so shallow, maybe move it down and give it a little more room for taller things go on top, such as your taller glasses and cups. We bought a Sears Kenmore dishwasher around four years ago. In less than two years time, parts started breaking off of the upper rack of the unit. After three years, the top rack was unusable, and so after limping along for some time doing 1/2 loads by using the bottom rack only, we replaced the housing for the wheels on top rack. Only, the screws dont all screw in, but just going around-and-around. At this point, Im not sure that Ill even bother going back to the parts store for a trade on the part, because during the process of fixing the wheels, we remembered that several other parts were broken (half of the spines holding the glass holders dont stay up, and both rack track stoppers are missing, so that rack can only be pulled halfway, or else the whole thing comes crashing out), and it seems pointless to spend more money on such a poorly constructed piece of equipment.Additionally, our HE dishwasher is so efficient that we have to thoroughly hand wash every plate, bowl, glass, piece of silverware before running it through the wash. It worked reasonably well for the first year. After that (and after the warranty ran out), we noticed that it wasnt cleaning well at all. We keep the trap clean. We have read other complaints online, and it seems that we need to take the whole thing apart for a thorough cleaning, in order for it to do a decent job of washing. We dont even bother loading pots and pans into the unit, because even with a thorough scrubbing, they come out greasy.We called Customer Service today, and were told that they could send a service rep out, but we would have to pay for the service call ($89.00). We were also offered an opportunity to buy an extended warranty. Im pretty sure I dont want to pour more money into this money pit. The bottom line is that we paid $800.00 for a rinser/dryer/ dish drainer for our kitchen. Do yourself a favor, and dont buy a Kenmore. That are NOT what they used to be!

We have a very large family that cooks a lot and appreciate not having to wash dishes after preparing such a large meal for our families. Easy to use and gets everything clean which is very important. In my family we have a lot of parties and use the dishwasher a lot for these large special occasions that are very important to my future. We bake BBQ fry so much cooking. I have found this to be the best dishwasher I and my family has ever used. A little hard to load larger pieces in the machine. The one thing that would be better would be if I could fit larger pieces in the dishwasher with more ease. I cook a lot and need room for large dishes.

The dishwasher came with the house so I guess it costs was 300.00. It was made well and it was energy efficient and used less hot water. Basically what is wrong with it is expensive and would be cheaper to buy a new washer. We have always used Kenmore because they last a long time, all our other washer lasted over 10 years. I spoke with a gentleman who knows washer and he said they are made to break now. I will be switching to Maytag. I guess they still will run the 10 yrs or more. So mad that it is not about the quality anymore but about quantity. Kenmore used to be the best. We have already changed our dishwasher and just love our new Maytag.

I bought a Kenmore dishwasher approximately 5 years ago. I have had to repair the same problem twice within the last two years and the same problem just occurred again! The soap dispenser door stops opening and it has been burnt on the back of the dispenser unit and the motherboard has burn marks where the dispenser plugs into it. This is the same problem three times now. Ive now spent over a thousand dollars to repair a $400 dishwasher! This third time I was done repairing it out of my pocket so I called the 18004MYHOME number and spoke with a rude alleged customer service representative. I explained my frustrations and acknowledged it wasnt his fault but was hoping Kenmore could repair it for me or offer a discount to buy another Kenmore dishwasher even though I really didnt want to. The guy kept repeating the same things and saying I cant get it repaired for free with a smug tone. I then stated that I have had no problem paying over a thousand dollars at this point just dont feel its right for me to pay again. And said Im buying a new dishwasher and was hoping you could offer anything to make me want to buy Kenmore again. He continued to have an attitude and I asked for a supervisor, he muted me and I kept asking for him to give me his name and transfer me to a supervisor and he hung up on me. I was on a landline so not a random disconnect. Also he had muted me several times throughout the call and would come back on. He was extremely rude and basically I will never want to be a Kenmore customer again. If you cant stand behind your product and realize that after three times of the same thing happening thats not a problem with the product then have customer service agents act disrespectful, rude and hang up on you, then I would recommend anyone to stay away from this company.

This is the quietest dishwasher I have ever had. It has a smart wash cycle as well as the normal cycle, rinse and hold cycle and you can turn off the heated drying as well. It is not as large as some other dishwashers I have had but I understand that is because of the extra insulation to make it as quiet as it is. Mine is stainless steel and has all the buttons hidden on top of the lid. This makes it easy to see them without bending over.

I saw the reviews online from 4 years ago - why was this problem not addressed? Very disappointed, especially for the price. Also, my dishwasher is doing the exact same thing. Previously, I had GE Profile - NEVER HAD A PROBLEM. To top it all, Sears is stating that I should have called within 72 hours - seriously? Very poor on their part. Im getting a replacement, but very leery.

I would not get another water heater from Sears. My hot water heater is seven years old and started leaking with two years left on the warranty. I had no hot water and had water all over the basement floor and called a local plumber to replace the tank so we can shower, wash dishes etc. When I called the warranty department, the service rep. notified me that because I had the tank changed with a new one, the warranty for the existing tank is void, even though I have the pictures of standing water in the basement and the defective water tank is still in the basement. Please, what should I have done? Have the water tank leak and do more damage to my basement and have no hot water for a week until your tech gets there? This is a joke of a hot water heater warranty. Go buy your next hot water tank from Lowes or Home Depot, you are much better off.

Plus, its a perfect size. It fits all my dishes and glasses accordingly and chests every inch of them. It even hold my wine glasses because I drink a ton of wine. Its stainless steel and very sleek/Looking. It Matches with my kitchen and the button are on the top part hidden so no one can see it. I am happy to load a normal days dishes plus a bit more. It fits into the space it is designed for, it blends well into my cupboards bigger plates, and pots fit ok. The black finish matches my darker cupboards and kind of blend in. I like the way it looks even though I have stainless other appliances on my white cupboards. We were able to buy it on sale. Larger the size lets load more dishes and wash less. This lets us save energy water and soap. We are happy with the price we paid.

My Kenmore ELITE refrigerator failed almost immediately when the seals around the freezer drawers wouldnt shut due to lack of a good seal. They would form blocks of ice and would not shut. I should have realized something was wrong with customer service when they used silicone to seal the drawer. That was their fix. The upper doors now are also not sealing and the product is out of warranty. It took less than 2 years for this product to turn into junk after spending over $3000 and that was a SALE PRICE. Also for just $700 more dollars to buy another warranty, plus a $60 service call, they can come look at it. Im done with Sears and Kenmore. I dont even have the heart to tell you about the even newer dishwasher we purchased. If you are thinking SEARS or KENMORE, RUN AWAY!!!

It was not a very efficient machine but did the job...for a while. Thats the only good thing about it, but we didnt dislike anything it did. It was an entry model, no bells or whistles. It did not have special racks that moved, it didnt have fold down racks and two washing wands, it only had one small utensil holder and no place for larger items. We soon replaced it and now have a Bosch dishwasher and are very pleased. I am sure Kenmore has better models now, but we wanted a Bosch.

I just purchased a Kenmore Dishwasher Model 14012, and the posts that hold up the dinner plates, on the bottom rack, have been reduced in height an inch or so, and now the dinner plates flop over and do not stand up straight. I had a GE dishwasher before this changeover, and the same dinner plates were erect; it appears that Kenmore has decided to scrimp on these posts, and this way they can get an extra bottom rack every 20 or 30 racks that are made. All for profit!!! Customer service was NO HELP at all.

There is room for all or most of my entire collection of plates, bowls, utensils, cups, etc. It does the job every time, in a quick amount of time, every time. This was a good buy. Snazzy design. Simple, compact, easy to use. I purchased the black model. Its modern look, fits well with todays kitchen trend. Whoever created the blueprints for this is a genius! Affordable. You get what you pay for. But with this, I got much more than I bargained for.

My Kenmore dishwasher features high capacity top and bottom racks, and is capable of holding a variety of shapes and sizes of dishes and utensils. It gets dishes clean, saves time and money due to energy efficiency. A great looking model with practical features. I got a great deal - good value for features I wanted, good looking unit. However, I wish the outside door was magnetic. The model is rather loud while in use, and makes it hard to watch television nearby. Sometimes spots remain on glassware too. But overall, my expectations have been met, and I would likely buy this brand again in the future.

In September of 2015 I purchased the top of the line refrigerator and dishwasher. Less than 5 years later, neither one is working. The repair cost is so high it does not pay to fix them. I use to always purchase Kenmore appliances. That stops now. Be aware before you buy. They look real pretty but they don’t last.

I have a Kenmore Elite dishwasher model #665.13963K014 which I purchased new in 2011 alongside a Kenmore Elite refrigerator which has failed 3x in 4 years. However, this dishwasher is EXCELLENT. No troubles, everything comes out clean virtually every time (unless I load something wrong, usually). My wife and I love it. It is so quiet that you cannot hear it in the next room and you could even miss hearing it in the kitchen if you didnt listen for it. Wonderful! I dont know who makes this for Sears, but it is a quality appliance in my opinion.

I usually have to run it through 2 cycles to wash off the residue it leaves behind. It has a lot of room for plates, cups, bowls and silverware. The appearance of this dishwasher is excellent. The stainless steel is beautiful and surprisingly easy to keep clean. I also like the buttons hidden from the face of the dishwasher. The value of this machine is high for my family. Being a family of 6 we go through a lot of dishes. The size of this machine meets our familys needs.

It is great and it has a great capacity load for everyone that is in your family. It will be done instantly, the more you have the faster it will be done. The product alone speaks for itself. Can help in so many situations that is unthinkable. It is great at a great price and is easy to manage if you are interested in it. There is little to no mess after you take your dishes out and it also is efficient with the use of cleaning agents. It doesnt make my kitchen look cluttered and also all of the wires and tubes for the water are hidden out of sight to make for a more safe area without having to worry about tipping over anything. The appearance of it I think has a very modern and sheen look... I chose it because it pretty much matches my other appliances... I would definitely recommend this product to others. I wanted something that was reliable and worked well so I would have no problem doing what I needed to do as a baby sitter. The Kenmore is really great. The features that I like about the dishwasher is that it actually cleans thoroughly.Other dishwashers leave residue on the dishes but this one does not. However, I dont like that it does not hold more dishes that I want it to. Although, all in all, it works well. The reason why I chose Kenmore is because I heard a lot of good things about it from family members and the reviews were great as well. I also thought the pricing was a good value for it. I also love the stainless steel color that they had. I love my Kenmore dishwasher because it is reliable, works fast and does a great job. This dishwasher totally met my expectations!

Be sure not to overload the dishwasher, it will leave stains and grime behind!) I could fit quite a bit, but if I filled it all the way up to its potential some dishes would come out with stains that didnt get cleaned. It wasnt the most aesthetic but what dishwasher is? As far as I am concerned, the efficiency of the appliance is what is important, and in this category, this dishwasher wins! I bought it secondhand, so I am unsure of the original asking price. However, for what I paid for the item, its efficiency and endurance was worth it all!

Not what Im used to but it holds what I need to fit into it. Could use a few more holding slots for a free dishes. Has a good clean look, nice materials and very presentable to all the company Ive had over. Pleasure to look at. Great job. Would definitely recommend! The Kenmore dishwasher was rather quiet which is nice compared to some other models. However, I wish there were more space and that it sterilized dishes. I also wish the dishwasher had a better drying mechanism because my dishes are still rather wet. These newer models are supposed to be more energy efficient but we never noticed a change in water or electric bill. But overall, the dishwasher met our expectations for the price. It cleaned the dishes fairly well, was a cost effective option that met our needs and would choose again for future purchase. We have not had any mechanical issues which is also a plus.

You would figure paying this much for this product - it would be amazing... It is just average. It cleans ok, but it is very quiet. However we have had sears out 3 times to fix the jet dry dispenser. It is still not fixed and is not out of warranty. It dumps the entire thing each run of the dishwasher. So we dont used the spot free dispenser any more. Sad for such an expensive unit. Size fits perfect to my laundry room, very convenient. Happy with the purchase. Will definitely recommend to friends and family. Quiet and gets the job done quickly. Dishes come out shining and all the food particles are gone. Very nice. Simple function, cleaned dishes really well, easy to use, energy-efficient and fast drying time, easy to load, very little leaking, easy for children to load and unload. It was big enough to hold and clean my familys everyday dish use. It blended well into the rest of the kitchen. Easy wipe down. Really up to date looking but not standing out. I purchased 3 Kenmore appliances in January. The refrigerator is a basic top mount freezer, lower refrigerator. It was installed in late January. For over a month the freezer has had ice buildup inside, causing the freezer door to push out. I am now on the 3rd service call--actually 4th. The first call to repair, sent a dishwasher repair person--so much for out-sourcing our calls. The gentleman who came the first time, said a part had come off the top of the freezer. Being the saving person I am, I had found and saved said part. He installed and caulked it. (Also convinced me to buy a service agreement--thank you for that.) That made it worse.Second visit he caulked all around the edges of the freezer. Again this made it worse. The ice buildup is also causing my refrigerator to run more often. I am up to 3rd visit this am. Thus I have wasted 4 days of my time waiting upon repair. The refrigerator was on sale and cost 564.29. Each of the repair visit receipts have been for 220.32. Thus this visit exceeds the cost I paid. I have always purchased Sears appliances--and I am old--64. I am most disappointed and would like a new refrigerator.

The size of my dishwasher is perfect! I can for everything I need to! The dishwasher is compatible for all sizes of cookware! I have had no issues with the size at all and I own a ton of cookware! The reason I purchased a Kenmore dishwasher over other brands is because all my life I have bought the Kenmore brand. My family has bought the Kenmore brand. Im 44 yrs old and thats how long I have bought into this brand. The Kenmore dishwasher feature I like best is that the machine is so quiet. When I load the dishwasher and then push the start button and the machine itself turns on, I can hardly tell that it is on. Sometimes I would have to rerun the dishwasher a second time but for the most part it did clean everything the first time I would run it. It also fit everything that it needed to. Sometimes there was not enough room for a large plate or anything but that wasnt a huge issue. I would probably get one a bit bigger in the future. It looks clean and it is easy to clean too. It blends in with the other cabinets well. I like the color that I chose. The lines were clean. I think that it looks very nice and I would get another one.

Long ago, I thought that a Kenmore dishwasher was a nice one, but I was real disappointed with the quality of the product and chose another brand when we replaced our dishwasher. But the buttons on the Kenmore dishwasher were easy to read, therefore making it easy to operate. It seemed to do a good job cleaning the dishes and for a low cost dishwasher we were pleased. The main thing that we did not like about this dishwasher was the fact that it did not have the stainless steel insides, like the nicer Bose that we now own. So it stained very easy and was hard to clean.
