Our old dishwasher stopped working one day and we had to replace it. We bought a Kenmore because we love the brand. It works 10 times better than our old one and I have no complaints at all. For a family of seven people we have a ton of dishes but it washes everything easily every night. That’s breakfast, lunch and dinner including pots and pans that we use. It goes right along with other kitchen appliances very well. We also have a Kenmore fridge and they go perfect together even in our not so modern kitchen. It’s well worth the price. If you want a reliable and worthy dishwasher this is the way to go. No issues in 2 years of having it and I can’t say that about our last one.

Not powerful at cleaning. It would generally leave food residue on plates and glass ware. Only lasted two years before it needed to be replaced. The dishwasher size was pretty good. It had enough rack space and the silverware area was respectable to hold all the necessary items. I think little bit more of an adjustment wouldve been an order so that you could get longer or should say taller items in the dishwasher. The parents of the dishwasher fit nicely into my kitchen, match the rest of my appliances and I thought that it function appropriately with the Decor. I thought the price was a little high for the quality. After I was using it for a while I figured that the price I was paying for it and from what I was told by the salesman that would be a good dishwasher but unfortunately it turned out not to be that way for the price.

Ill update when it breaks down to let others know how long it lasts with regular use and care. Very good size. Can place pots, dishes and almost all your dishes for a family of four. Love this dishwasher. It is quiet and gets the dishes clean. Plenty of room to put larger items. A welcome addition to my home. I would recommend this. Simple dishwasher with basic controls but it works very well. Includes the basics to start washing such as soap packets and jet dry. Simple is good in my book since there is less to go wrong. I have a light and heavy selection, heat on or heat off. I really like both of these options. It holds a lot of dishes and that is another thing I like about it. It is a 24 inch built in. It is very easy to move out if ever needed. It sits right next to my sink and has a big counter top above it. It is handy to use especially if my little granddaughter wants to help me. It is all white and matches all other appliances, and my cabinets are white, so it all fits together really well. The buttons are easy to use and see and is not very loud when running. It came in our condo but it is the cheapest one and works well. It is the 24 inch built in one in white and I have had it for 11 years and it still works completely like new.

The reason I purchased a Kenmore dishwasher over other brands is because all my life I have bought the Kenmore brand. My family has bought the Kenmore brand. Im 44 yrs old and thats how long I have bought into this brand. The Kenmore dishwasher feature I like best is that the machine is so quiet. When I load the dishwasher and then push the start button and the machine itself turns on, I can hardly tell that it is on. But the dishwasher leaves spots on my glasses all the time no matter what kind of detergent I use.

We bought a Kenmore Dishwasher in October at Sears because we believed at the time there was no consumer retailer with a more trusted name that a consumer could rely upon. NEVER AGAIN. We will NEVER SHOP AT SEARS AGAIN FOR ANYTHING AND WOULD LIKE TO WARN ALL CONSUMERS TO STAY AWAY AS WELL. Our brand new Kenmore worked middling well for the first few weeks, then we began to notice our dishes were not getting clean. We carefully went over the manual and adjusted several things: added more Jet-Dry so the dispenser was full, adjusted the knob for the Jet-Dry to maximum; moved the silverware holder so the soap dispenser would have no interference. But even with that, the dishes were not washing properly. A repairman came to the house on December 28th. He made a few adjustments, and left. We tried again, and once again, our dishes did not clean. The soap dispenser ejected the soap, but the soap landed at the very top of the dishwasher and sat there like a lump of coal. It did not dissolve. So I called again. Now, I had to wait until January 10th. Today. Thirteen days for a repairman. I asked to speak with a manager and was told there was nothing anyone could do. Sears is apparently short on repairmen. So today I received a call from Sears. My repair had been injured on the job. My appointment was cancelled. Next available date-- JANUARY 22ND. My brand new dishwasher that had NEVER worked properly was going to have to wait now ANOTHER TWELVE DAYS. AND THERE WAS NOTHING NO ONE COULD DO!!! I spoke to at least FIVE ADDITIONAL PEOPLE. And you are speaking to day players here. No one in a position of power. Customer no-service. No with a STAKE in SEARS. No one who gives a damn about you, or the company. The last woman I spoke with told me to stop yelling. I wasnt yelling, I told her. I was adamant. And so, welcome to Corporate America. This is what happens when companies get too big TO CARE. I cant even give the thing back b/c their return policy is 30 days. NOTHING BREAKS DOWN IN THE FIRST 30 DAYS! So we are stuck. Even if this damn thing gets fixed, it is a vastly inferior machine than we had before. So, stay away. Just stay away from sears altogether.Updated on 02/05/2018: Whatever you do, do not buy from Sears. We are on repairman THREE. As soon as he arrived, he got on the phone. Repair via telecommuting. Dishwasher bought in late October worked for 2 weeks. It is now February. The motor stopped working in two weeks. First repairman who was condescending diddled with the computer and did not discover the broken motor. Repairman two did, but parts had to be ordered. Repairman Three is here now, telecommuting. Any bets on if I get a working dishwasher? Customer service is ineffectual and rude. I went to Sears because Sears used to a name that could be trusted. No more. Stay away.

There is little to no mess after you take your dishes out and it also is efficient with the use of cleaning agents. It doesnt make my kitchen look cluttered and also all of the wires and tubes for the water are hidden out of sight to make for a more safe area without having to worry about tipping over anything. The appearance of it I think has a very modern and sheen look... I chose it because it pretty much matches my other appliances... I would definitely recommend this product to others. I think I got a great value for the money I paid for it. There are many expensive brands as well as the one I have but its well worth the money.

I just purchased a Kenmore Dishwasher Model 14012, and the posts that hold up the dinner plates, on the bottom rack, have been reduced in height an inch or so, and now the dinner plates flop over and do not stand up straight. I had a GE dishwasher before this changeover, and the same dinner plates were erect; it appears that Kenmore has decided to scrimp on these posts, and this way they can get an extra bottom rack every 20 or 30 racks that are made. All for profit!!! Customer service was NO HELP at all.

The Kenmore dishwasher cleans the dishes well. Sometimes I still have to rinse but not too often. Plus, it’s not as loud as my neighbor’s washer. It’s got to be quiet so as not to wake up the kids. I have two children under five years of age so I don’t have the time to be washing stuff by hand or worrying if the washer will get all the dishes clean. Also, I like things to match in my kitchen and I wish they came in more vibrant or unusual colors. I would pay more for a washer if they would come in more interesting colors other than white. But I like the brand and bought it because I need a reliable washer.

It is a nice size. There are two pull out shelves. The distances between them is no even, the top one is very close to the top roof of the dishwasher so you can only put small items up there. The bottom one has a lot of room for plates, and could use more room for bigger items such as pots and pans. The silverware sections is perfectly sized. Sometimes it doesnt get everything clean but after a second wash everything comes out spotless. Sometimes if you run the dishwasher with just vinegar it gets clean and that washer runs better. It is a great dishwasher and is well worth the value. Some say you get what you pay for but with this Kenmore dishwasher I feel like you what you pay for and more, because it is just that great and worth it. It is very reliable.

I purchased a Kenmore Elite dishwasher with an extended warranty, and was installed on 6/27/11. It stopped working, so I called the service to request an appointment on 9/2/2011, but no one showed up or called. On 9/12/11, I requested another appointment, again, no one called/showed up. I asked to speak with a manager and was put on hold for 45 minutes, to no avail. We have scheduled another appointment, but I realized that they are totally unreliable. I may have to go outside for repair, and bill Sears. The dishwasher is less than 3 months old. Our previous washer (not a Sears), lasted over 18 years without any problem!

The Kenmore we had was in our townhouse when we purchased it. It was a few years old and didnt have the features we wanted in a dishwasher. It was not a very efficient machine but did the job...for a while. Thats the only good thing about it, but we didnt dislike anything it did. It was an entry model, no bells or whistles. It did not have special racks that moved, it didnt have fold down racks and two washing wands, it only had one small utensil holder and no place for larger items. We soon replaced it and now have a Bosch dishwasher and are very pleased. I am sure Kenmore has better models now, but we wanted a Bosch.

I am able to fit a lot of dishes in it, but I also dont want to overfill it because then Im afraid some of the dishes wont come out clean. Fits nicely in my kitchen and matches the rest of my stuff in the kitchen. Its really nice. It has stainless steel, makes some music noise when the wash is done with the dishes. It definitely was not a cheap dishwasher, it ended up being at the max of our budget that we saved for a dishwasher but it was all worth it.

At most we were a family of four and the dishwasher was of sufficient size to only require dishwashing once or twice a week. It is a standard size, nothing special. It is a nice looking dishwasher. It is very easy to maintain. I have never scratched it nor has it ever chipped. The holders inside are brittle and a few have broken. We got it on sale years ago. It was a good value and years of satisfactory service support this assertion.

Im satisfied with the appearance of this dishwasher although this dishwasher looks like your standard dishwasher. The color and finish are acceptable. The dial does not stand out in a bad way. This dishwasher has plenty of room for all types of dishes, from plates and bowls to mixing bowls to pots and pans to silverware to cups and mugs. I dont have a problem fitting in all my dishes. It does exactly what a dishwasher should: cleans dishes without pre-washing. Its efficient, not too loud, and easy to use. This specific dishwasher is a good value when compared to all dishwashers. It isnt ridiculously expensive, but its also not cheap or poorly made. I would recommend this dishwasher and If youre in the market for a dishwasher, this is a good value for your money.

My Kenmore dishwasher is very reliable. I barely have to rinse my dishes before loading and they still come out sparkling clean. I love that my glasses and silverware are always shiny and spot free. My Kenmore dishwasher has plenty of room. It holds most of my dishes without a problem. I only wish it were taller in height because I sometimes have problems fitting my pots and pans inside. I love my Kenmore dishwasher. Its sleek design goes perfectly with my other kitchen appliances. Although it is large on the inside, it does not take up a lot of space. Every dish, every utensil or silverware price that comes out is sparkling clean no residue and it doesnt take long to go through the process either and it does a great job. The dishwasher fits a load of dishes no problem. The dishes fit perfectly in there. I can put my crock pot in there the glass part. The silverware have a handy little container that fits perfectly. My tall cups fit in there perfectly. It is sleek and goes perfectly with all the other appliances in my kitchen. Its easy to open, its easy to use. The buttons are very clear to read and theres very many options to pick from. We searched around for different types different sizes and this dishwasher was the perfect size with the perfect components at the price that we wanted.

It has a sleek exterior, and the selection buttons are well marked and designed. The outside surface is easy to clean, and the interior has fewer crevices and crannies to clean than others. The dishwashers space is flexible, with the top rack adjustable for height, and dividers on both tracks fold to accommodate large bowls or odd sized items. It’s flexible to fit a variety of large or tall pans, bowls, pots, platters, etc. and the baskets secure small items. This was a mid-line dishwasher -- not too expensive but not the no-frills model. It has plenty of features and is efficient at cleaning but didnt cost a fortune.

It was also easy enough for my teenage son to use. One thing that I disliked was the time it took to complete the whole wash cycle. Also with a large family it would have been nice to have more room. It is a fine size and fits just like our old one did in the cabinet. I believe it is a standard size and it fits our familys needs. It is not too small or too big. We have a stainless front dishwasher and I like the appearance of it, although I would also like it if it wasnt stainless because all of my other appliances are black. Also, its a perfect fit for the limited kitchen space that I have. I got the black to match my kitchen decor and it doesnt look cheap. Smart Wash, 1 hour wash, Pots & Pans, 4 hr delay, High Temp This dishwasher is laid out very efficiently and holds dishes from a dinner party of 10 easily. Simple and sleek. I have black. Clean out the filter periodically (easy). This is a no-rinse dishwasher, but I like to keep any potential smells at bay. Also love the configuration of the easy moving racks. Set up is great--I love to cook and this is a great kitchen tool that gets a lot of use.

The utensil tray is a little small but is movable to accommodate larger pots on the bottom shelf if needed. This dishwasher is super quiet. Trays are nicely separated to accommodate the majority of dishes. Wash arms are recessed to allow full use of space. Stainless steel stains easily. I would never purchase stainless steel appliances again, especially a dishwasher. Door must be opened to access pause button. Noisy with original sound blanket. If you have another, install that to lighten the noise. Overall, a great dishwasher that steadily performs up to two loads a day, 365 days a year.

My dishwasher fits all needed dishes in it for my 4 people family by the end of the day. Its a perfect fit in my home in size on the inside and out. I dont have to wash the dishes before I put them into the dishwasher like Ive experienced with many other dishwashers. The dishes are nice and dry when finished. And it also never has all that extra water puddles or slippery soapy feeling left on the dishes. This white dishwasher goes with half my kitchen so it blends in really well and Im very satisfied with it. Its outdone a couple Ive used in the past few years. It is still not fixed and is not out of warranty. It dumps the entire thing each run of the dishwasher. So we dont used the spot free dispenser any more. Sad for such an expensive unit. It thoroughly cleans anything I put in the dishwasher. It gets even burnt food off of my pots and pans. I am always satisfied with every load of dishes that I clean in the dishwasher. The capacity of the dishwasher is of a good quantity and very practical for many plates and cups. It is very convenient and the thoroughness of the washing. It is much better than other brands. But it does not rinse out correctly when the dishwasher is too full and the spacing between the units is cramped up. The stains remain on the glasses and it does cause an inconvenience at times.

I like how the sprayer never failed and how the cleaner depositor always released. Never had an issue with the cleaner not being applied to the dishes after a full wash. One more things was how the dishes always came out dry and not full of water. My previous washer always left tons of water in the washer and on the dishes. However, I dislike that the handle did not work very well and stuck a lot. You also did not always get a clean load. Left splotchy marks on the glasses. I did not like the way the rack are set up because I couldnt fit many dishes inside the washer when I need to do a full load. Also the silverware holder was very small and not shaped like normal washers. But overall, very delightful and superbly wonderful.

I also like that it fits a lot of plates and is great for hosting large functions. The adjustable top rack is really handy too. I also love their smart wash option and how quietly the machine runs. The one thing I have to complain about is that the pulse if the water is not as strong as I would like, but that could be because I use the smart wash option to save water. But I have noticed that there is food debris left in the plates.

It sometimes is hard to put large pots and pans in the dishwasher with other dishes, especially if there is grease on them. I have to wash them before I put them in the dishwasher to make sure the grease comes off. The dishwasher is black, which I love because its easy to keep clean and looking new. The button on the dishwasher is black with white writing to allow you to see when each cycle is happening (rinse, dry, etc). It is easy to wipe off and keep clean and it goes well with the other appliances in the kitchen. The value is okay! I feel it could be better and far as the size. However, when you live in an apartment you cannot pick the dishwasher you really want. When you are buying a home you have more choices or can buy what you want.

Its not very big but I can fit a good-sized load in it. Its the right size for my kitchen. I like the size. Its white so it matches my other appliances in the kitchen. I like my appliances in white or silver typically. It just looks clean and still looks new. We got this for a great value. I depend on it very much so it was worth every penny. I never had a dishwasher before this one and it saves me a great deal of time.

It fits all of my needed items so that I only have to run it once a week or maybe even a week and a half. It has all of the needed places for the things I want to wash. It looks sleek and modern in my home. It has the stainless steal look and finger prints dont show up when it is touched. It makes a great addition to my kitchen. The value you get is worth the money spent. It makes life easier and looks good while doing that. I highly recommend spending the money for it.

A call to the repair number succeeded only to set up another date a month out. (Previously we had a Kenmore water heater die. We had a maintenance contract on it too. A visit to the Sears store for help just got us a call a plumber answer.) We just ordered a replacement (another brand) from Home Depot.

It was a good size, just some faults here and there but overall, really good and compact size for my home. Doesnt take a lot of space. Looked clean and really well-polished. The colors are simple and basic, fit my home perfectly. I also loved how easy it is to operate it, really good product. Cleans everything as it should, quiet, saves water. My old dishwasher only used powder so its nice to be able to use more modern and superior cleaners. Makes washing a snap, very happy with it. We have a built in area of the counter that the dishwasher has to fit into and this fits perfectly. It is large enough to keep us from having to do the dishes every day which is nice. Just look at it, a thing of beauty. It looks great in our kitchen, but so did our last dishwasher. I guess most of them all look alike! We feel weve gotten great value with this dishwasher. It does everything weve ever wanted it to do.

Got dishes and pots and pans very clean and dried very well also. And ran very quietly, hardly ever heard it running. It was standard size --held a lot of dishes and pots and pans. Could almost fit every thanksgiving dinner stuff in--in one wash. Never had a problem with it cleaning or drying. Wish I still had it. It was standard size white in color. Came with our place. Big enough for our family of five. I would recommend it to anyone who hates to wash dishes. I cant say what it cost, it came with our trailer, but it was worth its weight in gold to me. Never had one issue with it. Always worked very well.

However, it uses too much dish soap and water, too loud, poor cleaning abilities, dont fit very many dishes and sleeves are too short or too close together. But Im happy with it, it does the job well and I would purchase a Kenmore dishwasher again. Definitely met my expectations, good price, had good reviews and I liked the look of it.

I researched online about many different brands and I chose to go with Kenmore. I heard that Kenmore was a good brand and I read a lot of good reviews. I love having a dishwasher. It cleans my dishes pretty well and saves a lot of time. It is very easy to use and quick going through the cycle. I love not having to hand wash dishes. However, I wish that the dishes were easier to load, cleaner and have less grit on them when they are done going through the cycle.

Has a high quality about it. I can put all dishes and silverware in my 24-inch Kenmore dishwasher and let it go to work. They come out sparkling and fresh. It’s help on the hands and arms. My Kenmore is a chrome color, modern, top of the line and state of the art dishwasher. It fits all my needs. The value is good. I purchased it from Sears store and I got it for a bargain. I would recommend this dishwasher to others and would love to own another one day in the future. This dishwasher was able to fit most things I needed washed. I was able to fit large pots inside, as well as pans like cookie sheets if I loaded it. Plates, bowls, silverware and other things fit nicely on top. This dishwasher was almost all black. This kept it looking cleaner in my opinion. It was a nice blend in my kitchen and went well with my other appliances. This dishwasher was extremely cost effective. It didnt break the budget and was well worth its price. This dishwasher would fit most budgets nicely.

Cleans dishes pretty good but still need Jet Dry as an added helper. The silverware rack can be moved but I do not feel like the silverware gets cleaned as good as it should same with the glasses on the top rack. Dishwasher is average size for a portable. It is a solid black polish with the butcher block top. The top piece that spins to wash the upper dishes needs some better improvements to clean the dishes better and the silverware rack also needs some improving since it seems like the silverware always has a couple pieces that get missed in the wash cycle.

I didnt like the color, should have gone with stainless models. The size was very nice. It had enough space for all of our dishes and cutlery. We were able to for several days and dinners worth of food onto the dishwasher and they almost always came out equally washed and clean. I did not end up liking the color very much. It was not the color I originally wanted, but I bought it on sale so I went with it. Inside and out, I would have preferred something like a stainless steel look for the dishwasher. I was happy with the value, especially because I was able to buy it on sale. The dishwasher never broke down or needed repair so it was a quality purchase. I would recommend it again if it was a dishwasher that was on sale.

I have never had to have any repair work done on it, and find it is one of my most reliable appliances. Both the upper and lower baskets are very roomy. Even with my large family, I can fit all of a weeks dishes--including pots and pans into one load. There is enough space between the two baskets for taller dishes, and enough space up top for taller glasses. The stainless steel front blends nicely with most kitchen decors. Plus, the stainless steel is easy to keep clean. Its black accents match other appliances in my kitchen. Overall, even though its almost 10 years old, it still has a modern look that enhances my kitchens appearance. I have many times over gotten the value for the money paid for this dishwasher. It is economical in its water usage, and its dependability has saved me from spending money to repair or replace it.

I like the fact that is user-friendly and does not require a lot of maintenance to keep it up. The size is perfect. It fits well in my kitchen and does not take up a lot of room. Its worth the buy especially if you dont have a lot of room in your kitchen. My dishwasher is silver with a nice gloss and has smart technology included. It has the self-cleaning option and a timer. You can also manage the temperature and speed during each cycle which make it very convenient. For this type of dishwasher I feel that the price was reasonable. I say this because with all the built-in technology this dishwasher should have cost more.

The Kenmore Elite Dishwasher has been one of my favorite ones because it cleans dishes so well and you dont have to run it several times to get the food off of the dishes. I would like to see Kenmore design a dishwasher where the top rack was not so shallow, maybe move it down and give it a little more room for taller things go on top, such as your taller glasses and cups. I chose Kenmore because I knew it was an appliance that I could depend on and would be something that I didnt have to replace again for a long time. They always have met my expectations since I first started buying Kenmore.

We bought this Kenmore washer new on 07/25/2011. Less than 5 years ago. It is already making a terrible sound and we looked it up to see what it could be. Basically what is wrong with it is expensive and would be cheaper to buy a new washer. We have always used Kenmore because they last a long time, all our other washer lasted over 10 years. I spoke with a gentleman who knows washer and he said they are made to break now. I will be switching to Maytag. I guess they still will run the 10 yrs or more. So mad that it is not about the quality anymore but about quantity. Kenmore used to be the best. We have already changed our dishwasher and just love our new Maytag.

Its spray arm is powerful and scrubs heavily crusted plates without leaving behind any residue, at least that has been my experience. I fit up to a setting of eight though its capacity is up to ten plate settings. Its compact but powerful cleans dishes that are piled up. It is gorgeous, sleek, compact (but tall) and surface is easy to clean. It isnt bulky, giving it a modern and efficient appearance. Its about 36 inches tall and it is very deep. It is very inexpensive for what it can do. It is energy efficient with many settings to accommodate your loads. It is also easy to self install if you dont want Sears service people (or anybody else) to assist with installation.

Im not too picky about the dishwasher as long as it does its job. Although I would like automatic shut off when the dishes are done and something to tell me when the dishes are ready to be out away or dried. All in all, quality and service are great. Products are always long lasting and their company has been around for a very long time. They are very reliable and reputable. Always consistent with their product.
