I purchased a Sears Kenmore Top freezer refrigerator on 12/6/11 and it has been trouble repeatedly. It seems to me, a company should stand behind their product & want to maintain a great customer satisfaction. I think they have an obligation to sell products that work, and to replace those that dont work. Repeatedly, it doesnt keep food cold. If I call customer service for repair or to extend the warranty, it involves several hours, several calls, not understanding their English because they are in Indonesia, and then to try to get someone to come... First a guy came, but by the next day, his fix clearly didnt work. I had to go through that all over again. Now I throw in the sponge & call a local repairman who is very reputable, and pay his price. I would never, ever buy a Sears Kenmore Refrigerator/freezer again as long as I live!!! They are unreliable & problematic, and service on them is also aggravating. If someone doesnt help me soon, I will lose a lot of my food. I cant keep going through this. My fridge gets gentle, average use. This should not be happening, AGAIN. I am very angry with Sears for being impossible to work with & for not standing behind their product. I know now that they really dont care. My fridge is a 20.6 cubic foot unit, model # 106.62159110.

We bought a Kenmore Elite several years ago. I registered for this site so that I could let other consumers know what a terrible refrigerator it is. Do not buy. First, the lighting unit burned, I guess because something was too close to it. Replaced that piece and then it stopped working, shorted out and left brown burn marks. The icemaker quit a while back. The molding around the refrigerator is ripped and held together with duct tape. The plastic pieces surrounding the door shelves are cracked. Now, one drawer pull is broken and cant open drawer. This is a piece of junk. I will never buy a Kenmore again.

It seemed like it lasted forever. We left it in the house we moved from and it was still working fine. The settings inside were great and it kept everything just as we wanted it cold wise. It could have been a little larger. We had a hard time grocery shopping for the month because we could not fit everything into our freezer. The shelves inside the fridge door were somewhat small as well. It looked great and was the perfect match to all of our other appliances. We liked the way it looked inside and out. I would highly recommend this to anyone who doesnt need a huge fridge or needs a fridge for a small place in their home. It didnt cost a ton and it was easy to get repaired as well. The fridge lasted for years and I have no complaints about the way it worked either so the value was great for the size and functionality of the fridge.

The fridge was powerful and long lasting. It lasted many years with little maintenance. Perhaps because it was an inlet model, it wasnt as energy efficient, but that would be my only criticism.

I can say its a great product. My family bought it for me and I was quite surprised. It can fit my needs since I live alone. I love how it works... how it keeps the food cold and freezes whats necessary. I highly say Im quite pleased and I wouldnt have it any other way. I would truly recommend the product. The company is quite good. No matter what Ill still buy the product. It took me years to find good product and thats what I love. The value is good and I said to my family trust me. I cant stress. Kenmore model #795.71309.012 - Worst French door design. Latches keep breaking. This is third time. My last repair person said it is an LG and it was a bad design. I recently looked at new LG French door products and the design is totally different. What is my recourse.

After purchasing Kenmore 106.51773510 we had a service tech come out to check why it did not produce much ice. He verified that it produced the proper amount of ice - 8 cubes every 1.5+ hours. This large side by side can barely produce enough ice for a single person, let alone a family.

Refrigerator is very expensive. There is some value to it, but there needs to be more value in terms of discounts and losing of the percentages that make for bigger discounts. Meaning I would like 50% off instead of 25% off of the value. The appearance has a good design and color. But from the outside it looks like a rundown appliance that needs work. But when you get to use it, it works really well and has the features and benefits that any appliance should have. My food is kept cold and fresh for when I need to eat it again. I have enough capacity to put my food inside. It holds everything with enough durability that the shelves will not break. The size also is convenient for bottles and big items that need to be kept fresh.

Purchased Kenmore Pro Elite and did not work on delivery with door sensor and icemaker then would not work. That was fixed. Then compressor broke and 2 months waiting for Sears repairman and parts... They replaced it which was under warranty but 330 in labor. I paid and failed in 2 days. Now another month wait. I called and called. They hung up and never sent reimbursement. I had to buy a new refrigerator after 3 months without a refrigerator.

What I liked about the appearance best was the handles, nice and small, not sticking out too far, because when going into the fridge you would not hit your head when looking up. The size was just fine, every thing fit fine but would have liked to be able to store 3 gallons of milk from back to the front. The 3rd gallon just comes over the front edge. Also, would not keep ice cream hard, only soft, and air leaks in the freezer. Temp in freezer 10 degrees would not go any lower. Also very noisy and running for long periods of time. This box would have been the best value for us if it would have worked out and did what a box was supposed to do and would have kept the ice cream at the right temp.

Kenmore Elite Refrigerator Model 795 79753 900 - We purchased the refrigerator in 2009 and in the past two years the vertical water line on the back of the refrigerator has developed leaks on three separate times usually pinhole leaks where the serviceman and I have seen each time. The last leak damaged our hardwood floor and sub-floor. The third time the leak developed I called Sears service center only to have them tell me they dont service in Anchorage, Alaska when in fact they do. I suspect that the reason they denied me service was because my protection agreement had expired. This seems to be a recurring problem with the Kenmore refrigerator and Sears is very frustrating to deal with along with the so called elite product line!

Runs quite and good. Stays cold and has a nice ice maker. These last a long time and could be used for many years. It outlast others and I would recommend it to anyone. The price is also good. The size is a standard to large size. It has plenty of room for all my foods and it has a good amount of freezer space. With this freezer I do not need to use a deep freeze because this holds all my foods. I love that it always stays cold and runs so well. I love the appearance of these refrigerators. They are very stylish and unique and fits in with the rest of my home decor and kitchen colors. Its a good value based on its size and color and it runs well and could last a long amount of time before having to buy a new one.

My Kenmore performs amazingly well. Havent had any problems out of it whatsoever. It runs quietly and does the job with keeping my items cold and the freezer keeping my items frozen. It is a wonderful size. It fits everything I need it to fit in the fridge part as well as the freezer part. Its quite spacious and is perfect for my family of 4. My refrigerators appearance is gorgeous. It is a nice smooth, sleek design. Its easy to clean and maintain. Especially with me having 2 toddlers and their sticky fingers I needed something that wiped clean easily and this does the job. I believe my Kenmore refrigerator is a bang for your buck. It is an amazingly awesome appliance that does its job effectively and looks great in any kitchen. I believe its more than worth the money.

Sleek. Both freezer and fridge are very spacious. Keeps the inside at a cool 38 degrees at all times. I can fit all of my needed items inside the fridge and freezer with more room to spare and I have a lot of stuff inside of both the fridge and freezer. Plus the ice making machine is in the freezer but I still find that I have more than enough room. Its stainless steel on the outside which is so shiny you can see your reflection. It is super easy to clean. The ice and water maker match beautifully with a black finish. There is also a night light on the water maker. It will match any kitchen with the beautiful stainless steel. It was on the pricier side but is well worth it. It looks like I paid a million dollars but in reality I got it for a steal in terms of how it has benefited my household.

My Kenmore lasted many, many years. I never had any problems with leakage, nor did I ever have a problem with the cooling in the refrigerator or freezer. It was an older model, as I said I had it many years, but it lasted through a family of 4 for a long time. I eventually left it for the new owner when I sold my house but it was still in perfect working condition when I left.

The Kenmore refrigerator is a pretty good appliance to have in our house. It keeps our food really fresh, the food doesnt lose its taste. We save a lot of money because the food lasts longer than it would have with my old refrigerator. My bill is also lower, I noticed ever since the Kenmore fridge has been in use. I like Kenmore refs bottom freezer, the ice maker in the door, shelves can be moved to accommodate various size items, the freezer has many different compartments, which allows you to customize the storage of items, and the grab n go feature. However, this feature often does not keep the case fully closed, thus making it swing open when you open the door. Items often fall through to the floor in the freezer compartment and its a very big refrigerator. Kenmore has not met my expectations, largely due to customer service response. The refrigerator is a good value overall, but I would go with a different brand next time because of Sears reputation.

Purchased a Kenmore Fridge from Sears which is manufactured by Electrolux. Purchased it in June 2016. Have had the repairman out four times for the same issue of not staying cold. They do not want to replace the fridge. They want to send repair person out a fifth time. It will be over a month without a fridge. This is not acceptable.

Ice maker mold cracked and calling Kenmore customer service, they said I would need a new ice maker. The plastic mold ($10 at most), cannot be purchased separately. Cost: $75 for the replacement unit. If we extrapolate, the next step will be for them to require replacement of the refrigerator if the interior light bulb needs replacing.

The Kenmore fridge has worked steadily with no problem for 4 years now. It keeps food as cool as it needs to in an even fashion unlike some fridges which are colder in some spots. Nice and roomy enough to hold everything we need it to. Runs quietly. It has side by side doors. Kenmore had it reasonably priced and has been worth it. Bought it and it was delivered the next day.

I have had my avocado green refrigerator since 1972 and it had never given me any problems. Im sure the ice maker would still work if I had the water hooked up to it, but had to move it onto a screened in porch a few years ago to make room for a side by side. It is used for cold drinks, food trays during the holidays or parties, and the freezer for over flow from the other freezers. I couldnt be happier with it and the service it has provided over the years. This refrigerator came out before the energy efficient ones were being thought about and as far as I am concerned it doesnt use any more energy than the newer ones.It is an 18.cubic foot with the nice sized freezer, with a shelf and ice maker. The refrigerator has numerous shelves that can be moved around or removed for larger items. There are 2 vegetable bins that are nice and deep across the bottom. There is a wide wire basket below the bins that makes extra storage possible for items. It has a nice finish that easily wipes down to keep it looking clean. There is a lot of room on top to store items that arent used everyday.

I have a 2015 Sears Kenmore Elite fridge made by LG. The compressor has been gone for over 3 weeks. Sears came out to repair it but they did not have the part. Finally the part came today and the repair is suppose to take place on Monday. Sears tells me I must pay the labor. Is that true? Secondly, I loved this refrigerator so much that I bought one for our FL home. It was built in 2018 and bought in February of 2019. Are there still compressor issues with the newer models? Thirdly, my husband has tried to register for the class action suit and has had very little luck getting through the red tape. HELP!

Its spacious, works properly, has temperature control settings, it has a freezer, it has compartments to store vegetables and fruits, the door has spacious shelves as well. It is a reputable brand that manufactures quality products.

We bought a Kenmore Refrigerator Model #25360082412 in April 2016 that went dead in July first week. We called Sears as it was covered by a Master Service Agreement for which we had a hefty fee. It took them two weeks to come and inspect. The technician acted friendly, blamed Sears products (“very poor quality”) and also said that the compressor has gone bad. He also said that in such cases, fridges should be replaced with a new one whereas Sears is pressurizing them to get it fixed. He said he has to order the parts and not sure when the parts would come. When contacted Sears, the reply was that they need to send another technician to confirm what is wrong. Another technician came yesterday and the same scenario all over. It takes awfully long time to get hold of a person to get an answer and the person we were able to get connected said this morning that the first technician had written in his comments that we had refused the repair work. Only after three failures Sears would replace the fridge and that has not happened in our case according to him. We are waiting for the parts to come and have an appointment in ten days to get it installed, assuming the compressor arrives by then. The service by Sears is extremely bad. When you call, you get someone in Philippines who have no knowledge or understanding of appliance breakdowns and mere note takers. In a nutshell, we still have no fridge after six weeks.

Its a very good, Dependable refrigerator. Its never let me down in the time Ive owned it. The Door closes solidly. It keeps food very fresh. Thermostats work very well on as well. It has an exterior that is very easy to clean. It looks very nice in the kitchen and the color matches the color scheme of most kitchens. I would recommend this model for homes that dont have a very large kitchen. It has drawers for your vegetables and then another for your needs. Its Very good for keeping everything organized in this medium size refrigerator. It has A very good price for a Quality brand such as Kenmore, too. Kenmore have good service records.

Its performance is great. Always the temp I want. The ice and water dispenser is great. My ice cream is always frozen, my milk is always cold. The ice dispenser give you crush ice and the water is always freeze cold. The size is more than I need. I never have it fully full. But it nice to be able to put a full watermelon in it. I have fitted at less 4 watermelon is this refrigerator before. I love how much space it had. You can put 4 gal of milk with watermelon in and still have room for more. Nice and silver which make it easy to see all the finger prints but they are easy wipe off. Its pretty big so make sure your space fits it. And not hard to clean at all. The price was great. If I didnt find this on sale or had a coupon I would have still got it. Its a steal for 800 bucks but make sure you shop around for lowest price.

My mother is Serafina **. She is 83 years old. She bought the washing machine model 21102 on 5/17/11. She also bought the extended warranty with Sears for an additional 3 years. The money for the warranty was basically money flushed down the toilet. The top load washer door is not closing. The light keeps blinking on and off. It is supposed to stay lit which signifies the door is closed and the washing cycle will begin. This does not happen. The clothes are drenched with water. My mother is elderly, so she does not do much laundry to begin with. The washing machine is new for the most part. There is something faulty with this Kenmore model because I have read many other reports online of customers with the same exact issue.

I have always purchased Kenmore products. The refrigerators seem to last just about 10 years. This current one replaced a brand new one that died within a week. While Sears tried to fix it I lost over $300 worth of food. If it werent for the fact that I had an old 40 year old Kenmore in the garage the spoilage would have been worse. I had to call Sears Headquarters in Chicago to get them to replace the non-working refrigerator with a new one and pay for the spoilage. The local stores tried to fix it, but each time it only ran for a couple of days.The refrigerator has an automatic ice maker that can dispense crush or cubed ice. The water dispenser on the door dispenses filtered water. It is a frostless freezer which is easy to maintain. But the worse feature is connected with the ice maker. It has a lever in the ice maker that is supposed to stop making ice when the container is filled but it doesnt work. The result is the ice container overflow. When the serviceman came out to fix it, all he concluded was, Thats the way it is!

Im able to adjust the temperature so food is always fresh. Lots of storage space. Adjustable shelves make storing easy. Its not difficult to clean even with kids touching it a lot. Lower on my refrigerator budget. All around enjoyable. I am happy with the size of the refrigerator. It does not take up much space in my kitchen. The multiple storage containers within the refrigerator is convenient. The refrigerator is sleek and stainless steel. It matches my other appliances and have gotten many compliments. It has really completed my kitchen. The refrigerator has so far lived up to my expectations. I have had no issues with it this far and enjoy it. To me it was worth the cost.

I bought on sale with a good deal and it was pretty cheap when I was on a very small budget and didnt realize the freezer was so little till one day I went to buy a lot of frozen foods and then didnt really have much room to put it. I just hope they make the freezers more bigger and I get a good upgrade soon. But the fridge side is so roomy and I like the built in ice maker and water.

Kenmore model 10651133213 refrigerator/freezer. Every couple of hours a motor or compressor turns on and is so loud it wakes us up at night. Called the warranty people to see what they could do for me. I was told, thats the way it is. That appliance is loud. If its cooling properly then its working properly. That is absurd. Ive had alarm clocks that werent this loud.

We continue to use our 1986 countertop Kenmore Microwave (model 87627) several times a week. Still works perfectly, display and keypad never had a glitch. Even the original light bulb works. My point? We have had much newer Sears Elite appliances that have not lasted as long, or the display/control panels burn out, refrigerator diffusers stop working, light switches fail, some push buttons stop working, etc. They dont make them like they used to.

I compared other styles of fridges before purchasing this one and the price was very good for the wonderful performance I receive from this product. The Fridge works very well and is quiet. Keeps the food cold in the fridge and the freezer keeps the food solid. This size fridge is also great for a family of two. It fits nice in the area that a fridge needs to fit and holds two to three weeks of grocery for my family. The color of the fridge goes well with all my other kitchen appliances too. The French doors are very easy to clean and does not show any fingerprints. Overall, a great quality appliance.

We shopped around and considering the price, warranty, and features the fridge met our family needs and expectations for the needs of cooking and storing food. The fridge was reliable, energy efficient and it worked for a long time not needing repairs. We like the ease of cleaning on outside and wipe down and maintaining. The most difficult part of cleaning is usually the inside but this one was fine. But it could have a better ice maker. We have historically had good experiences with the Sears brand of appliances, but sometimes the ice clogged up and didnt dispense as it should needing some manual fixing.

It freezes great and refrigerates great. Never had a problem with it. Never had to fix ice maker like we did in past. It is spacious with plenty of room on both sides. A lot bigger in person. Would highly recommend. Size is great for family of four or more. Love that I dont have to cram stuff in it like in the past. The color is black. Although it comes in white and chrome we prefer the black. It dont get dirty as often as the white one does. It matches my kitchen perfectly. I honestly thought it was going to be a lot more expensive than it was. I was shocked when they told me the price. Value is great a lot greater than say GE.

I’ve had problems with the ice maker, twice. The vegetable bins are bulky. The fridge is also very noisy, but overall it is a good machine. I think I might look around before I purchase another one of the same make.

Kenmore Side by Side Refrigerator Model 106 51103 111 - I purchased this refrigerator on 6/29/12 and it was delivered to my home on 7/11/12. On Saturday, 1/14/17, it quit cooling. My service repairman came on Monday, 1/16/17 and found that the compressor was bad. This refrigerator has not even been in my home for 4-1/2 years and its shot. Sears was not willing to do anything to correct this problem saying the compressor only has a 1 year warranty. They did offer a 10% off coupon toward my next Kenmore purchase. I will never buy anything else at Sears. They sell appliances that are inferior and they dont care about their customers. That is why Sears is in trouble. They could have offered to pay 50% of the repair for a new compressor. My service repairman said I would be better off buying a new refrigerator, so I did - NOT A KENMORE!!!

Fridge, Freezer, and ice maker all work wonderfully. We havent had any problems with it except for the ice getting stuck once. It fixed itself. The Fridge part is a great size. The freezer is a little small for how much frozen food that we buy, but we have a mini-freezer for what doesnt fit in the main freezer. Fridge is nice looking. Its sleek and well put together, a great addition to our kitchen. I would recommend the look for most kitchen styles. We got our fridge for a good price for how well its worked and how great it looks. Im super happy. Would recommend for people searching for a good deal.

Purchased an expensive French Door Bottom refrigerator from Sears in Feb. of 2013. Last week it stopped working. Called the Sears Service and they said they will charge $99 to come out and then give an estimate for the repairs. They also tried to sell me their 5-year warranty for $324.0 which is sold for $150 by Home Depot and Lowes. I called another repair service who charged me $65 to check the problem and said that compressor is not working would cost $750.00 to replace the compressor. We decided to junk the refrigerator and buy an LG two-door top freezer for $990. Will never again buy a Sears brand product.

I bought my Kenmore refrigerator back in October 1999 and it still works so good today Dec 2018 that it will start freezing stuff in the refrigerator area after 3-5 days. Plus the freezer works great. My only complaint is the freezer is too small of a portion of the refrigerator. They should have taken more of the refrigerator to make the freezer bigger. I do have to limit how much freezer stuff I get. Frozen stuff that can be thawed prior to using. I will put that on my top shelf of the refrigerator if needed as that shelf will freeze stuff in one day and the items placed on the top shelf of the refrigerator usually will remain frozen or have lots of ice in it like a slushie. The only time I have had problems with the Kenmore was around 10-15 years ago. I kept adjusting the temperature in the refrigerator so things wouldnt freeze up but then it started keeping things too warm and started acting up. I dont have the refrigerator on the highest setting today. It has numbers 1-7 and 7 is the coldest and I keep it on 6. Ever since I stopped changing the temperature dial then no more problems. The refrigerator only cost me $399 and its well worth the money that I have paid for the refrigerator.

My Kenmore refrigerator was extremely dependable. I had it for over ten years and only had to replace the thermostat once and I did that myself in a short amount of time. It operated smoothly with no other problems. Easy to clean with mild soap. Adjustable shelves made it easy to adjust for taller items. Crispers kept fresh foods from getting too cold. Overall this was probably the best refrigerator I ever owned.

Dont buy the Kenmore Elite series side-by-side refrigerator/freezer. I bought this product and have had several problems with it prior to the warranty expiration. The freezer bins keep cracking. The refrigerator temp could not be controlled, it was freezing all of the food. The doors did not seal properly. The latest incident is that the refrigerator and freezer are no longer cooling. We have tried to get an emergency repair appointment and were told that we would have to wait 12 days because there were no appointments available until that date. Meanwhile, all my food, about $500 worth has spoiled and the only compensation that was offered was $160 for reimbursement for a small refrigerator.

I used to own a Kenmore refrigerator and I was very happy with the appliance. You were able to set temperature controls on not only the refrigerator, but also the freezer. The vegetable crisper was absolutely wonderful at keeping the vegetables fresh and crisp. The meat keeper actually kept the meat fresh and tasty for a longer time than other refrigerators that I have owned. The fridge was energy efficient and economical to operate. The only reason that I do not own a Kenmore fridge at present time is because I was given a kitchenaid fridge, but when this one needs to be replaced I will be purchasing another Kenmore fridge.

It fits all my needs. Keeps all my foods at perfect temp. Also has plenty of room and I can adjust shelves to fit my needs. I would look at same type, brand, unit when I need another. It really works great. When I find a great buy on food I can freeze and use later. And being able to adjust my shelves makes my storage go a lot further. It was very easy to get into my opening and the leveling was so easy. The color I got is great and so very easy to keep clean, by just using a wet cloth. People keep asking me did you get a new refrigerator? They are so surprised when I tell how old it is. This unit is worth every bit as much as I paid. I really dont understand how this unit can be so much less than others and has so much more to offer.

Kept the food at the right temperature and make it easy to place food item in the right places. The ice maker was the reason I purchased the refrigerators. The refrigerators size was large enough to for the space that it was in. Large that accommodated all the item I need weekly. The refrigerators appearance was clean and chrome so it was easy to keep it clean on the outside. The price was what I was looking for and the price I was willing to pay for and could pay off in less the two years. Would buy the same item again.

We chose a Kenmore refrigerator because it was moderately priced and it was at the store we were shopping at. We just liked this model. I like its appearance, the metallic surface stays clean and is easy to clean up messes and spills, and it doesnt stain. Weve had no problems with how it runs/works well, the water dispenser is quite convenient also. However, it would be better if there were more space in the freezer. There is barely enough space for all our frozen meat. The refrigerator section as well could be improved by more space.

Overall this has been a good refrigerator. The ice maker works fast although the in door dispenser no longer works. The freezer could be bigger. Although this refrigerator is roomy, its hard to configure the shelving to hold tall items. Drawers have plenty of room for fruits and veggies. The freezer side has more than enough storage. Its sleek stainless steel. I am replacing my other appliances to match. Really good looking for an appliance. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to modernize their kitchen. This refrigerator came with our house but has been very reliable so no money has been spent on repairs. Its energy efficient and runs well. Im sure if I had to replace it that I would find one for a good price.

Bought my fridge 2.5 years ago. The cooling element for the fridge had stopped working but the freezer is still operating. Sears repairman had to order new part 2 weeks before he can come back out to replace the part which was delivered 5 days after his service call. 2 weeks without a refrigerator because Sears does not have enough repairmen.

My fridge has had icicles forming on the inside of the freezer door and freezer frame. It is caused from the factory not making it airtight. They will not replace these fridges. They will only send a repair man to fix everything by using silicone all around the whole thing. It is apparent all these models 970R424123 Serial number BA54922901 Model type AD-18 were made with the same problem. Very dissatisfied with fridge and service. All people should be posting their dissatisfaction with this product which is owned by Electrolux!!!

Updated on 01/26/2021: My first review on 1/4/2021 was about a failed compressor. Today is the 1/26/2021 and the tech finally came to fix the compressor. He advised me that there are a lot of problems with these compressors. He told me that when the compressor goes a black liquid runs through the refrigerator lines. He flushed the system but said it was not guaranteed to be fully flush. He then proceeded to tell me that if there is black fluid left and it gets into the compressor it will ruin it. He then told me that the compressor will probably fail within 2 years or less after paying $300 dollars to have it fixed. If it breaks I will need to pay again to service the refrigerator. This feels like a giant scam and Sears and Kenmore should be held accountable for the faulty parts they use on their products. Unsatisfied Customer!!!Original Review: I purchased a Kenmore Elite refrigerator approximately 4 years ago because my last Kenmore was well made. The compressor already failed only after 4 yrs. Kenmore is using a LG compressor. If I wanted an LG I would’ve purchased LG. I am very disappointed and will never buy a Kenmore again. Putting cheaper parts to save money will only cost you customers!! Kenmore should fix every last compressor problem.

I bought a Kenmore Elite French Door refrigerator Jules’s than 3 years ago and was so excited because I thought the brand was good quality. I was so disappointed when it completely broke. It leaked all over my floor, stopped producing ice, and wouldn’t get cold. I lost all the food in the fridge! Luckily I have a freezer in my garage. I had to pay for the repair guy to come look at it and was told that it was best to buy a new fridge as the model was faulty and the compressor would continue to fail and the cost was not worth the hassle. I will never buy another Kenmore appliance!

It is cooling, very ease to use, performance good, really realistic. Happy with the cooling system, helps to keep fresh fruits and vegetables, maintains temperature in summer, powerful freezing system.

It was just like every other refrigerator, but I never had a problem with it. The refrigerator had plenty of space and had settings for the temperature I preferred. I loved the setup of the shelving and I dont know what else to say about a refrigerator.

I purchased a Kenmore refrigerator less than 2 year ago with the price of $2500. It looks very nice. But, until I use it, I found that the inside design is so difficult to clean. And, it just stopped working after 8 months. I was told it is the compressor issue by technician. So I spent $300 purchased a new compressor, and $450 labor to get it back to work. During the past year it seems to be working OK, but I found thick layer of ice always accumulate on the back wall. And, it just stopped working again. During the past year I dare not even making ice with the refrigerator. This is the worst refrigerator experience that I ever had! This brand just has no quality at all.

I like that the freezer and cooler work good and the drawers in the refrigerator part are placed in convenient places. I love the freezer but wish it were bigger. I think the fridge is fine overall. I love how big the refrigerator part is and how big the drawers are for meat, veggies, and other food. I think the freezer is too small though. It is white and plain on the outside and is nicer on the inside. I think the drawers are pretty cool but nothing fancy. I am cheap and thought that this was a pretty good deal for a basic refrigerator. It is doing what it needs to do and for the price I dont expect more.

I purchased a Kenmore Elite side by side refrigerator in December 2007 for over $1100 as well as other Kenmore appliances based on reputation and reliability reports. Just yesterday--about 3 1/2 years later--the temperature control went out. The technician said the main control board had gone out and required replacement: total parts & labor comes to $450, just less than half of the original cost. The refrigerator is no longer under warranty but it seems to me that a company such as Sears that claims to back up their products (e.g., Kenmore) would at least admit that this is a little unusual for a high end product. I complained that this is unacceptable to have such a major problem so soon. I requested that they adjust the cost of repair downward to something more reasonable but I got the normal scripted response that since it is not under warranty theres nothing they can do. At this point I will have to assume that if I ever purchase another Kenmore product (which I wont) then I will have to factor in the additional cost of an extended warranty at hundreds of dollars above and beyond the selling price of the product.

Very good refrigerator. Had it for five years. I bought it from Best Buy and it was on sale for 300- it was a great deal and it has a lot of space inside. I just love it! My refrigerator is very spacious inside. I can get all of my groceries- meats, frozen food, including pizzas, ice cream, and tv dinners. There is so much space for fresh fruits and vegetables. My refrigerator is white and it has two doors- top and bottom. This refrigerator has a very glossy appearance and very easy to clean. It has clear transparent storage containers inside so you can always find what youre looking for. I purchased my refrigerator at Brandsmart for 300.00 five years ago and it still looks brand new. It was on sale and I never had any problems with it.

Bought a Kenmore refrigerator 1/15/14, died on 9/7/14. Two weeks for the first tech to come out, ordered a compressor, took a week to arrive. Second tech ordered unnecessary part (per original tech) another 1 1/2 weeks. Original tech arrived, refrigerator unrepairable. He cut off power cord, wiring harness, and all the parts he had soldered on. All this for a bad compressor? This model not available any longer, nothing comparable because of size except for two inferior models that we cant even see as they are online plus another two weeks to deliver. So, already at over a month without a refrigerator, they refuse to refund our money, they dont have a replacement available and we have a child in the house. Anyone wonder why Sears stocks are dropping and now their vendors wont deliver to them anymore?

It is perfect for a smaller family home. I grocery shop at least once a week and there is always plenty of room for everything. It always has kept my food at cool temperature. The have never had trouble out of the freezer or cooling elements. This refrigerator has been perfect for my family of four. Everything I buy has always fit in either freezer or refrigerator part. I always have to be careful not to stack too high in freezer cause it tends to shoot all the cold air into fridge part. It offers a original and simplistic view of a refrigerator. It is perfect for our older house. I like that it doesnt take up too much room and it is simple to maintain its appearance. It offers everything someone absolutely has to have in a fridge. It is a necessity and this refrigerator is a wonderful value with it offering a freezer part also. Its big enough for a family to use.

Ive owned this refrigerator for 10 years and its always performed perfectly. The food stays fresh without getting dried out and its easy to clean. All the food I need for a family of 4 fits easily and I especially like how I can put a gallon of milk on the door. Sometimes I wish for a bigger freezer, but my kitchen would not accommodate it. Its a pretty standard-looking refrigerator and would not stand out in a crowd. But it matches the look of my kitchen and I am more interested in how it works than how it looks. This refrigerator was one of the least expensive we found while we were shopping but its a great performer. It had the extras we wanted without all of the bells and whistles and was a great price.

We have owned this refrigerator for 9 years and never had a problem! The icemaker and water dispenser work great! I like the side by side. It is very handy. The only problem is with the side shelves. 2 have broken. I guess the plastic isnt very good! The size is a great size and holds everything. My next refrigerator would be the same brand but have more durable shelves on the side. I love the appearance. It wont show hand prints like others that I have seen and owned. I like how the ice and water compartment looks. It is hard to keep the bottom dry clean. Refrigerators are crazy expensive. This one was average price for what we wanted. I would definitely recommend this brand and this design. It has worked great for our family.

We bought our Kenmore Elite Model #795 72052 112 on Feb 23, 2013 and guess when our fridge develops a problem -- of course, one month exactly after the warranty expires. Apparently, we have the same problem as several others - the ice maker fan is not working and we get the ER F1 on the display panel. It melted the ice and it dripped on our laminate flooring creating more problems.

It has lots of room to store your food items inside. The freezer is also large. it also is very energy saving. The built in ice maker is a joy. The size is big enough for your needs. Plenty of shelves to put your food items on. The freezer keeps your frozen food items frozen till youre ready to use them. It is a good looking refrigerator, and the stainless steel color is a delight. Not too large for the kitchen. Not an ugly looking box to have. The value is very affordable, and most other types dont compare to the cost of this one. Others cost more and they are not as good to use.

Keeps things fresh, cold and perfect Temps. It has never malfunctioned or has any issues whatsoever. It is the best refrigerator I have ever had thought my life. I would definitely recommend this anyone looking for a refrigerator. It has so much space on the inside you could fit a whole watermelon and full frozen turkey if you needed to. It leaves more room for everything that you could possibly need to fit. The sleek silver style has a glossy finish and is very cool and pleasing to the eye. It goes with any kitchen decor and works with any set up. The price was a little bit more than an average refrigerator but you are not purchasing a normal refrigerator. Worked just fine when I owned it. Never had a problem with it. Just your standard refrigerator and freezer. It was white and washed up pretty good. Held magnets good and work like a refrigerator should. 18 ft. The freezer held all I needed. Didnt need a bigger one at the time I got it. So it was big enough for everything I needed. Just looked like a regular refrigerator, with a freezer on top and color was white. Had the usual shelves inside to hold milk and everything else you put in one. Got it on sale. So as far as I am concerned it was a good deal. It worked and lasted as long as I had it. It was still working when I got rid of it.

It works incredibly well and is very easy to clean. It holds a decent amount of stuff. The freezer is slightly smaller than I would like but is sufficient for my small family. It hold most of the things I need but I did have to remove one of the shelves to make the spaces the right size to hold a gallon of milk. The door shelves are decent. It is clean and doesnt take up too much space but would look a lot better in stainless steel or possibly in black. The white attracts dirt and grime a little more than I would like. For the size and space the price was very reasonable but you definitely get what you pay for. The lines of it are not super clean and the style is a little outdated but its not the worst I have ever seen or used.

It has a good amount of space, and we havent ever with it not working. Its quiet and efficient. And all for a great price. Id recommend it if youre looking for something stylish. The door hasnt squeaked when it is opened, like the last fridge we had.

The ice maker water line from my Kenmore refrigerator 7425, unknown to me, had a crimp in it when installed and after 4 years developed a small hole. The water leaked under my kitchen cabinets, causing thousands of dollars in replacement costs. At the outset of the leak, there was no visible evidence since the water spread out toward the back of the cabinets. According to my plumber, the crimp was there when the refrigerator was new and installed that way. This refrigerator was rated highly by Consumer Reports and might be a good refrigerator if it wasnt for the shoddy parts and attention from installers.

My beautiful Kenmore Elite Bottom drawer refrigerator died suddenly a week and a half ago. It was 5 1/2 years old and I came home from shopping to find the freezer had turned into a pool of water. Two repairmen and dozens of hours shopping around, reading reviews, talking to repairmen on the phone and salesmen at various stores Ive come to realize that no average priced refrigerator made today is expected to last more than 7-12 years at best and though 5 years is a little short, its not all that uncommon. Kenmore refrigerators are made by various other companies... Whirlpool mostly, though mine was made by Amana. Weve looked at the wonderfully rated LGs and Samsungs only to back off when reading other reviews full of complaints about electronic failures and shoddy workmanship.For me as a consumer, ITS ALL ABOUT RELIABILITY AND SERVICE, not fancy bells and whistles. Having both would be nice, but I dont know if thats an option anymore. Ice makers seem to cause a lot of problems too, from what Ive read. Seems like buying SIMPLE would be best. The less money you pay, the less you stand to lose. Sad statement on the quality of products out there today. Maybe we should all buy cheap since the stuff is basically built to be disposable, and send a message to the manufacturers. Hit them in the pocketbook. We all need refrigerators, but we just cant expect a good product it seems. Or anyone at that end who cares. WE still havent decided what to buy... Our stuff is crammed into our old 15 year old GE extra out in the game room. Our neighbor offered us use of their old 35 year old in their garage. Pathetic, isnt it?

It was built well & lasted quite awhile. I never had to require service and only got a new one because I bought a new home and left the Kenmore refrigerator as part of the sale. My current home already had a refrigerator already installed.

I like the way it looked in the kitchen that it was in. I love the fact that the door was on a swivel hinge. The door never got squeaky and was not too heavy. I also love that there was an ice maker on the fridge. There was a light in the fridge that was easy to replace, and the water was always really cold. I was very thankful that it has all of the features listed above. They made life much easier and the room in the fridge was great. The drawers were spacious and always kept my groceries, greens and fruit fresh and crisp. However, I did not like that this fridge did not have more options. I would also like to see more off the wall colors. I think that a touchscreen would have been nice. The amount that was paid for the fridge was quite hefty too. It was provided in a rental that we had moved in to. If I was a homeowner, I probably would not have paid so much for a fridge that did not have more options. I would not have this specific fridge in my home, however since I did not pay for it I was satisfied with it. I would probably buy this fridge for my own home only if the price was more reasonable for the options provided.

We purchased a new refrigerator from Sears not quite 4 yrs ago and weve had three service calls, today will be our FOURTH. It has gone from not freezing to freezing too much in the freezer, to not cooling in the fridge part. It is my belief that when a customer has that many problems with an appliance it should be considered a big lemon and should be replaced. I am 65 yrs old and never in my wildest dreams have I ever encountered so many problems. It has been a BIG headache from day one. I would not recommend Kenmore or Sears to anyone.

Im very happy with my Kenmore refrigerator. It keeps frozen items frozen. It keeps refrigerated items cold without freezing them. You should definitely purchase a Kenmore refrigerator. You wont be displeased. I like the size of my Kenmore refrigerator. It has plenty of space for all my items. This enables me to easily keep it organized. Because its organized, I can easily find what I need. I enjoy the appearance of my Kenmore refrigerator. I chose a black one. It has a very sleek modern appearance. This enables it to fit in with my decor. I received a good value by purchasing a Kenmore refrigerator. They are not as expensive as other brands, yet are of better quality. It was a good value.

It is a huge refrigerator with a compact ice maker and a 3 tiered freezer drawer. The lighting inside is amazing and it functions very well. I do not like the outer finish too much. The area around the water/ice dispenser is plastic and can crack. The finish is aluminum and shows every scuff/dent/fingerprint.

In September of 2012 we bought a new Kenmore refrigerator from Sears. In less than a year we noticed severe ice build up on the back panel of the bottom freezer. We contacted service who sent someone out. He did nothing other than tell us that maybe the door was left ajar, or that we basically open the refrigerator too much! Really?!! Its never been a problem with any past refrigerator. This was August and he said once the weather got less humid it would probably slowly disappear. Well we waited and it didnt and how convenient and cost saving for Sears....it went off warranty! Now its added a new problem to go along with the ice build up. A loud noise probably coming from the evaporator fan motor from what I have read online. Several weeks ago I pulled out the inner drawers and used a small hammer to chip away the ice build up myself. It stopped the noise for about 3 weeks, but now its started up again and there is ice showing up again on the back panel. I contact Sears service and was told basically tough luck since we didnt buy the extended warranty. But they offered to give us 10% off of a service call. Big deal!! They never fixed the problem to begin with when it was still under warranty. We refused to pay $479 for extended protection on a $1200 large ticket item like a fridge that should last for more than a year without issues! They obviously know what they are selling is junk. Im quite certain from what Ive been reading that this is a design flaw. It should be recalled. Im completely disgusted and will not deal with Sears again.

Its pretty spacious and good enough for my family of 4, keeps veggies and fruits fresh for long time, maintain right amount of moisture. I like the freezer part most because I use to freeze my leftover food sometimes.

I bought two Kenmore Energy star refrigerators one for my use and one for my rental unit. The energy use is very low as stated by the company, less than a sixty watt bulb. Both refrigerators keep food warm and cozy in the fridge section, and the freezer sections are always below the freezing point. If you keep the doors closed and the thermostat set at max cold you get very stable temperatures as shown in the picture. Freezer +/- 32 and Fridge +/- 15. This review is relevant for 6000 and 7000 series of Kenmore top freezer models, hope it helps.

I like my Kenmore fridge. It is my life. I couldnt imagine living without it. It makes my food taste better just by putting it inside of it. I will never get rid of my Kenmore fridge.

I absolutely HATE our fridge. It is impossible to clean because Kenmore uses cheap coated metal and calls it stainless steel. It is NOT! And if you get a scratch in it, youre screwed, unlike genuine stainless where you can buff it out with a kit. I know this to be true because the other stainless steel appliances we have in our kitchen are a breeze to clean. Unless you have nothing better to do with half your day, you do not want to waste it trying to clean this behemoth!

It keeps my food for a long time. It stays at whatever temp its on. Never had to get it repaired. Id definitely recommend it to anyone who asks. It can hold everything I need in it and more. It has a lot of room and compartments. Butter place and fruit bends several shelves for everything else. I could probably use a more advanced Kenmore model. But for now its all good. But if I was to change the appearance Id get a Kenmore with an ice maker. It was a good price and value for the money I paid for. Especially since Ive had it for awhile with no problems. I never needed a repair man.

Refrigerator works great. Never had any issues whatsoever except local supplier never having the water filter in stock. The refrigerator worked flawless. Refrigerator had enough room for all the items you would find in a refrigerator. Large drawers and adjustable shelves to fit large 2 liter bottles. The refrigerator was pretty plain in appearance so it didnt especially stand out but I enjoyed the subtle look to my Kenmore refrigerator. The Kenmore refrigerator will cost you more in the pocketbook but the increased cost assures you that you have purchased a quality refrigerator.

Kenmore 596 fridge now close to five years old. Within year one, ice maker broke (repaired twice and then replaced). Year two, water leaking on the floor caused by automatic defrost clogged drain plug. Replaced drain plug, defrosted ice dam and fixed ice maker - Sears repair bill = $225. Ice maker stopped working two weeks later. Year 4 - compressor dies. Sears repairman here 3 times over 3 weeks - freon leak - unrepairable. Repairman had to request approval for new fridge. We need to wait 36 hours for answer. 20 days without fridge. Unacceptable.

The refrigerator had enough capacity for a family of five. It never failed us until it grew old, 15 years. It was reliable, durable and efficient. I would recommend the Kenmore refrigerator to a family member or friend. The size met our requirements and the area provided in our kitchen. There was ample room for the different food types that we used. The freezer, while not overly large, provided enough room to store the frozen food items that were part of our normal need. It was a cream colored refrigerator. It was plain to the eye. We purchased it for utilization, not a fashion statement. The freezer on the top was easy to get into. The bottom allowed for easy access to clean under the refrigerator. Considering the length of time that our refrigerator serviced us, the price was very cost effective. The refrigerator lasted for fifteen years until we decided to upgrade.

Purchased a new side-by-side refrigerator from Sears outlet in Virginia. Fridge operated as expected with no issues. I just determined while owning it that I do not care for side-by-side.

I researched this fridge thru Consumer Reports and it got a pretty good rating. But I dont know why!! I purchased this in June of 2017. THIS IS THE WORST FRIDGE I HAVE EVER OWNED!!!! There is only ONE TEMP CONTROL for the Freezer and fridge. If you want the freezer colder, then you have to make the fridge colder, too!! Plus the knob is right where you put tall items on the top shelf of the fridge. So, it was constantly being knocked out of position. I had to TAPE THE CONTROL KNOB IN PLACE!!! And, now, the freezer has a collection of frost/ice along the bottom of the freezer door!! Plus, on occasion, there is water on the floor in front of the fridge. I need to keep a thermometer in the refridge to make sure that the temperature remains accurate. And once in a while it warmer than it should be. I will say that the space of the 21CUSF is a very nice size. The bins and shelves are fine quality and roomy. But I am greatly disappointed in the performance! I could understand these type of things happening to a 5, 8, 10 or 15 year old refrigerator. Not one that is 2-1/2 years old! My trust in KENMORE has been destroyed. Its NOT THE QUALITY PRODUCTS OF THE OLD DAYS. If I can get rid of this fridge, Ill spend the money and buy an L.G. SO LONG KENMORE....

Since owning this refrigerator we have never had a problem with it. Keeps food equally cooled and frozen. Very quiet which has been a big plus for us. Easy accessibility for our children. Size has been a big plus for this model and one of the reasons we made the purchase. Compartments are very spacious which allows for more room in other areas. We love the stainless steel finish. Gives it a modern design which accents our kitchen very well. Also easy to clean because of the appearance. We have had many compliments on the look and feel of the unit. Happy with the value. We did a lot of shopping around before choosing this particular unit. Seems to save more energy cutting down on our electric bill as well. For the quality of the refrigerator it is a great value for the money.

This refrigerator is the best and it has a good appearance. Very bright, clean looking, wipes off with ease and does not stain at all. Definitely a nice look and it is the perfect size - not too big, not too small, just right. The inside has just the right amount of space to fit all of the essentials and more. Also, it keeps everything ice-cold and fresh. The value of this refrigerator, in my opinion, is good. It was purchased at a very reasonable price and has lasted a very long time. Absolutely no complaints. I would give the performance of this refrigerator 5 stars and I would absolutely recommend it.

They never gave me any problems. Never understood some specifications but didnt really need to. Flawless. I would recommend this to everyone. The size could have been better. Some things dont fit inside the freezer area. Otherwise it is an excellent decision. Slick and incredible. Fits perfectly with the kitchen. It was improbable for me to find something bad about the entire look. Simplistic and useful. Great Buy. VALUE is eccentric. It is incredible how good this Refrigerator - it is one of the best products I have purchased in the last 10 years.

My Kenmore Refrigerator was a floor model and it was on sale. The refrigerator is spacious and works to its capacity. The shelves can be adjusted. It had an overhead freezer and ice making machine. It fits in the wall space and it only stopped functioning once in four years. However, the bottom gaskets keep breaking and the freezer ices over sometimes. Also, I would make an extra meat compartment and would put a bigger thermometer in the back of the refrigerator so I can read it. Nevertheless, I am very pleased with the Kenmore refrigerator and it has met my initial expectations.

I like Kenmore refrigerators exterior water/ice; stainless steel finish and brand loyalty, side by side with great storage capacity. At time of purchase, it was best value in comparison with other brands. However, the water filters for the ice/water were costly. Improvement on price of filter and easy access to replace. Also quicker process for crushed ice and not having the shards splatter outwards rather than all directly in receptacle. But have had many Kenmore products/appliances. All were reliable and easy to purchase. Helpful salespeople. Warranty and product replacement parts easy to pick up from store.

It was easy to organize and to maintain. It had a good energy performance and never gave us any problems. It was not fancy but extremely solid. The space allotted for a fridge in the kitchen was not big. This fridge fitted perfectly and had enough space for us to store groceries for a family of four with two children. Simple but elegant. Not particularly noticeable, which I considered a plus. The exterior was easy to clean and with two children that was a bonus. This is not a fancy model. It was chosen because of the space available and the style of the kitchen. However the ratio price to quality was excellent.
