The refrigerator is a good at keeping stuff in the freezer good for a long time. The bottom part works well, keeps food good and refresh and at the right temperature that it is set to. Overall it has a good size freezer and the bottom part is a real good size fridge that you can put a lot of items in. We are able to store a months worth of food in it. The appearance of this fridge is good looking. Plus it has a lot room to store stuff in it and it will match any kind of kitchen color you have. You get a value out of this refrigerator for the price that you have to pay for it. Plus it runs well and does a good job of keeping your food good and cold.

I like how fast it dries clothing and the overall look in my house. I got this brand on a good deal also and I would recommend it and I will always buy it because it is so good. Its a high-quality brand that I trust. I also own a washer and a fridge from the same brand.

In the summer of 2018 I renovated my kitchen. All Kenmore brands. Fast track to summer 2020 and I now have Whirlpool refrigerator. My Kenmore refrigerator is totally not working. I am very disappointed. Model #79573106710 and serial #805trop634. I was even told by a Sears technician that those refrigerators are notorious for motor problems. I called sears on two occasions to rectify the situation. They would not budge. I would advise anyone looking for a refrigerator to stay away from Kenmore. Their fridge are made by LG. Buy American such as GE, Maytag, Whirlpool. I paid for my experience.

I really like Kenmore. We have had our refrigerator for over 10 years and it has not given us any trouble. But, because it is getting old it is starting to leak a little. So it might be about time to start looking into purchasing another refrigerator and I think we might purchase another Kenmore.

It very spacious and keep the freezer very cold and freeze ice fast!!! Vegetables last longer to me! Love the space and large doors. The handle on the door is great. If you have kids, easy to reach and pull open the fridge. The size was okay I wish a tad bit bigger!!! The shelves could be a little more apart!!! The racks should be more space and the doors are very light which is great when you have smaller kids over. The appearance is okay and I would love to try the new stainless steel ones but maybe in the near future I will! The size in the outside is small. The value is good quality and a good investment and I would recommend it to anyone! Give it a try, I promise you will fall in love with it and recommend it to your friends also.

Kenmore has below average craftsmanship. I wanted a refrigerator that had the freezer on top and fit into my space. I did not want an ice maker as I live in a 4th floor condo and did not want to worry about leakage to the apartment below. The door handle broke off after 1-3 months of use. I received about 6 handles from Sears while it was under the one year warranty but when the year was up Sears only option was to buy the extended warranty. The refrigerator has worked well but design flaw of the handle was very disappointing.

On 8/8/2011, I purchased a Kenmore Elite refrigerator model 4602 from Sears. In October of 2012, the ice dispenser caused my circuit breaker to trip and the dispenser stopped working. Of course, you may say I should have purchased insurance, but it seems to me it is ridiculous for a $1000+ appliance to stop working after 14 months. I will never again purchase from Sears or recommend them to my associates.

Keeps food cold, have plenty of shelves, drawers and compartments, does not cost much to run. My electric bill has reduced a little bit. I would recommend this product. The size of the refrigerator is the perfect size for me and my little one, but I also have a 14 cubic foot freezer for stocking up when things I use go on sale. The price was right, crisper drawer works well.The refrigerator looks like a regular refrigerator. The surface is easy to keep clean even with the finger prints left by the toddler. It is easy to move to clean behind so dust doesnt build up. I think it was a good value for the money I paid for it, on sale of course. I try never to pay full price unless absolutely necessary, friend and family days are usually the best time to buy.

I honestly love my fridge. Its large, roomy and keeps everything inside it nice and cool. I love how the bottom chamber opens and forms more space. I like that the freezer is on the bottom, as opposed to the top and that it isnt one of those side loading type ones. I also like that water dispenser.

These refrigerators are dependable and reliable. They are efficient and run well. Would recommend. They have great space and the shelving is useful and easy to clean. Just soap and water and they seem to wash up well. The refrigerator I got was useful for the size. We have a four person family and it was adequate for the groceries that we get. Would recommend a larger size if one can manage. There is always use for more space. These refrigerators are streamline and nice to look at. They have an appearance that lets people know that the company takes pride in all they do. They are roomy and have nice placement of shelves. I happened to got my appliance at a great rate. I got it on sale at a retailer. It was a good value and a good price which influenced my purchase.

Works good. Ive used this brand for years and only had a few problems. I would recommend to everyone. My daughter also purchased a Kenmore Elite fridge. Size was perfect to fit under an overhang. Couldnt ask for a better fit really. My daughters fridge fits in her house great to just the right height. I love the clean appearance of the brand. Kenmore was a brand that I like and was at a convenient location that was easy to load and bring to my house. I have purchased before that I liked the style and type of. The refrigerator style was what I wanted, size was what would fit and the color fit my kitchen. However, the Price I paid for the unit was more than what the other brands of similar type were priced at. I also wish it had some other features in it. Other than that, was good purchase.

The refrigerator worked fine. I can pack a fridge and then just turn up higher so everything gets to preferred temperature. If it is cold enough, I may turn it down a little, but I prefer my milk very cold. Its white, rectangular, had fridge door and freezer door. Keeps my food cold and stuff fresh. Being a chef I like my stuff at the right temperature and it is a valuable piece of appliance that I need in my house.

I bought Kenmore refrigerator in July 2018, then the compressor was down in January 2021. Searss technician told me that Kenmore will charge me over $800 for repairing with compressor replacement, and customer service even more pissed me off!!! Different representative are saying all different story!!!! I paid $1700 brand new Kenmore Refrigerator but works only 2 years, then will pay another $800 labor cost to repair and extended warranty only 6 month... I have always own Kenmore refrigerator and love them. They last a long time. We go to the scratch and dent Sears and have never had a problem. The only problem is the water does not come fast out of the water dispenser. We have replace the ice maker and it was not hard to do.

We had this refrigerator for a couple of years and it would always have a build up of ice on the back of the freezer therefore it would not freeze the food properly. The size was great for a small family. We are a family of six and we really need a lot of room in the freezer. And when we filled it to capacity it would get a build up of ice. The refrigerator was a little old fashioned. White appliances dont have a modern appearance. It didnt take up a lot of room but it wasnt small either. We got the refrigerator on sale at an appliance warehouse. The price was reasonable enough. So the price fit into my budget and I thought it was a good buy.

After the filter was changed, the water still tastes horrible. The plastic bins in the refrigerator that holds butter milk, etc. have cracked and broken. It is large enough to serve our needs. All of our produce and meat items and frozen foods fit well. If you had a family of 6 you may need to get a larger refrigerator. I am happy with the stainless steel finish. I wish I had gotten one that cleans easier but once I use my stainless steel cleaner the shine is beautiful. You get what you pay for. I wish I would have thought about it and bought a more expensive fridge and I may be able to drink the water from the fridge.

I like Kenmore only for the plain fact that it is very popular. Also they are very sturdy appliances and last quite a long time compared to other fridges. I like that it has a drawer as a freezer. It reminds me of a box freezer or a deep freezer. I also like the door with the water and ice part. That really comes in handy because you dont have to get in it to get some ice. Its all right there. Make the fridge a little bit more roomier though so that the milk and the sodas as well as a bottle of wine can all fit on the same shelf together.

Kept things cool as it was supposed to. Sometimes had trouble but I could adjust it. Worked fine, just a little small! I ran out of room a lot. There were only 2 people in the house at the time, but we often hosted big dinners and I made a lot of food, and thats when the fridge was too small. Not enough space for leftovers either. Freezer too small for our needs. Easy to keep clean, matched the decor, looked fine. We had a stainless steel fridge after this one and that was a lot harder to keep clean. This white color worked well and was a lot less maintenance. I didnt buy this fridge so Im not sure what the cost was but I imagine for price and performance, it is a good value. It does the job and fits (size and maintenance).

Good refrigerator. Doesnt really need any maintenance. Have had it for 2 plus years now and no problems as of yet. Freezer works very well. No overfrost or thawing out needed. Its kind of big and clunky for my small kitchen but I need the drawer space it has. Im a big grocery shopper. I got kids so I need the extra room. Smudge proof. Fingerprint proof. Easy to clean especially with kids living in the house opening and closing the door with their dirty little hands. Paid a pretty penny for it, but I know thats due to it being a more modern refrigerator. Hopefully it will last me many years to come. Its energy star efficient so thats definitely a plus.

Only problem I have had is with the ice maker, but in all fairness, I have had the same problem with all the refrigerators I have owned. Otherwise, this refrigerator has been excellent. There is ample freezer space with the double drawers.

Since we have all appliances in black and silver it fit in very well. It was not reachable for my hopping toddler, which made things hassle free. We bought it for around 1200 dollars and do not regret it. We got a good resale price when we moved since it was in good condition. Its a bit pricey but completely worth it. I would recommend it over other brands any day.

I have had my Kenmore fridge since 1992 when my home was built. In all that time the only thing that I had to replace on it was an inside light socket. Very dependable appliance and when this one finally quits running and I will buying another one.

Worked well with all my food being in there, a lot of room for my snacks as well for the people who eat them. I also put drinks in there. Very huge and fit everything in there like I even have room left over for more food for the next day I want to shop for food. Very big refrigerator. Long and a pretty color, it also matches my kitchen and it gets a lot of compliments. Specifically if I have a lot of food in there, people love it as well as I do. Cost almost my life but I also had money saved so it was ok that I bought that. It really helps out especially for the price they charged me at the store in the mall.

I bought the Kenmore refrigerator, Model # 795 71019.010, Serial #005KRO2571 from Sears a few years ago & a part I need to be able to use the ice-maker now is DISCONTINUED according to Sears & I was told Youll just have to buy a new fridge or go without ice??? I like the Kenmore refrigerators double doors, meat and vegetable keepers and ice maker. The refrigerator portion has 5 shelves, the freezer section has 4 and the freezer door has 5 shelves. I love the ice maker and the way the ice cubes are moon shaped and not clunky. I like the vegetable bin because it keeps the lettuce crisper and the tomatoes are not soft. Cucumbers are kept crisp for over a week as well. The meat keeper has a clip that can be adjusted up allow cooler air from the freezer to come into the meat keeper. The shelves are adjustable and this allows storage space to be used to a maximum advantage. I really like everything about the appliance, Thats why I chose it. Its been a great 30 years. I have always shopped at Sears for appliances and their service after the sale has always been great. It is easy to get replacement parts if you are lucky enough to have someone in your family who can work on appliances.

It fits into the space I need it to and I can find things quickly. It keeps my food fresh and my vegetables crisp. However, theres a lot of sharp angles that make it hard to clean. Im often wishing I could move the shelves in and out easily. Its also hard to change the light bulb. Still, Im very happy. It has met my expectations and far exceeded them.

We needed more freezer space and we found that this model didnt really work for us. But we were happy with other features, so we just bought a separate freezer to meet our needs.

In 2012, we replaced our Kenmore Refrigerator (15 years old) with a bottom freezer model 596.72003014. Thirteen months later (less than 30 days after the warranty expired), water was pooling on freezer bottom. The first Sears repair appointment was cancelled late in the day due to a repair truck breakdown. I rescheduled and guess what? Cancelled again due to a repair truck breakdown. Finally, someone showed up and repaired the problem in January. Seven months later, same problem. This time Sears acknowledged there was a design issue and had developed a fix. Didnt matter that it was a design problem - I was still charged for the second repair. Today, water is now on the floor from refrigerator. This will now be 3rd repair in 7 months. I have always purchased Kenmore products, but obviously the quality is not what it used to be. Even though the refrigerator is less than 2 years old, I am already looking to replace it with another model (Not from Sears). I would never have imagined Sears quality could fall so low.

Its a great refrigerator for its price. Works to keep everything just the right temperature. I have had the same fridge now for over 7 years and have had no problems. Next time I get another. This fridge can hold enough food for a family of 5 for at least a whole month. Next time I get a fridge though, Im going to get a side by side because its so hard to fit a lot of food in that top freezer part unfortunately. Its very plain but it does its job. Just add a few magnets to it though and bring it back to life. Other than appearance, its an awesome fridge. This fridge is a great value for its money. I didnt have to spend a lot of money at all and this fridge has lasted a little over seven years.

We got this fridge about 3 months ago and it is very good for the money and works well for my family. It serves its purpose keeping the items cold and the freezer is icy cold. The outside looks very big, but when you actually put items into it is not as big as you think. You have to be creative on how you put items in the fridge. It looks very appealing in the white color. It seems to fit around any household and the design is made it look great wherever you put the fridge. The value is really great, but again the size is something to be desired. Price cant be beat, but the size overall is way too small for a larger family.

A ton of room for freezer items. Really loved this as a member of a wholesale club and was able to save money buying items in bulk as freezing them. The size of both the top and bottom compartments are large. There is a lot of room in both for items of all sorts. Really helps to find things you need. I purchased a brand new Kenmore refrigerator 8/2018 and the compressor blew 9/27/2020. I called to set an appointment date for service and they failed to show. My appointments are now continuing to be rescheduled later and later in the month. This has changed every other day via text or automated calls from 10/6, to 10/7 to 10/19, to now 10/20! I have received no explanation as to why my appointments keep getting changed and no acknowledgment regarding a service request for a refrigerator which is an ESSENTIAL household item.I’ve expressed that I have 3 children in my home and that I was buying ice to preserve milk and eggs in coolers. I’ve lost wages leaving work for a service that never occurred, in addition to losing all my food in the refrigerator and freezer! No coverage because I didn’t purchase an extended warranty. I paid $170 for an outside technician to come Evaluate and repair but I have to have a Sears technician inspect it. The compressor is covered under the manufacturer warranty but I’m responsible for the service visit fee- no problem, if I can only get someone out to do the service. I never imagined that I would have a major part go in just 2 years. All my appliances are Kenmore????

We need a new refrigerator and I am not sure yet if it will be a Kenmore. It did seem to stop functioning in some areas too soon. The ice maker stopped working and the refrigerator now leaks.

I have a Kenmore refrigerator and it is only 3 to 4 yrs old and I keep getting a bad chemical odor once to twice a year. It is so strong that I can taste it in the food that I keep in it and when I open my door I can smell the odor in the kitchen for a bit. Every time I scheduled service on it, the odor wouldnt be as strong and the service guy would tell me its from bad food! Really? Like I dont know what bad food smells like. I still have this problem and dont know how to resolve this.

I choose to go with Kenmore because the brand was a name I recognized as being around for a while and it was a price I could afford. My previous refrigerator was a lesser known brand and I had a lot of problems with it. I like the Kenmore refs size. It has a milk/gallon-sized spot on the door which is my favorite feature. No digging through to get to the milk. I also like the adjustable shelves! I wish the bars on the shelves of the door was a little sturdier though. Kids broke one the first week. They seem to break easily but that is true with most refrigerators. Also, I miss the holder for cans my previous refrigerator had. Overall, Im totally and completely satisfied with this refrigerator! But Im totally and completely satisfied with this refrigerator!

So far so good. My freezer part is very cold and my fridge is very cold as well, and its very spacey as well. My door can be used on either the right or left side so that is a plus as well for me and my family.

I recently bought a Kenmore refrigerator to be exact 5 months ago and its already not working! How is this possible? How can you spend your hard earned money on a product that will break down on you in less than 5 months? I called for repairs and was told why I didnt add a protection plan. WHY should I! I shouldnt have to worry about something so expensive breakdown on me so fast. After throwing away all the food that went bad I had to wait 4 days for a technician. I was greeted with a very smelly, rude and ignorant man that did nothing but tell me that he needed to order a motor and left.I called Sears Repair and was told I had to wait another 3-5 days for the motor to come in and then... Make an appointment for another technician to come in. So what do I do for food? Eat out a can for a week? Will I be reimburse for all the breakfast, lunch and dinners I have to pay for until they fix my broken down expensive new refrigerator? I am beyond disappointed with this issue. I will gladly forward my receipt if requested but at this time I do not have it. Item was bought at Sears (Cottman Plaza) in Northeast Philadelphia PA on 8/7/2016.

It kept our food cold and fresh and rarely broke down. It also stored a numerous amount of food items. The freezer section also had a lot of storage space and made things freeze very quickly. It also made ice very quickly. I do not recall the exact size but we had more than enough space for everything we needed. We also has an egg rack to store each egg individually which I liked very much. The color was a basic white with a wood handle which size wise fit nicely into our kitchen. The color was clean and modern looking for our kitchen which pleased me very much. It was a great value for the money due to the more than ample storage space, the efficiency, and the clean and modern design. It was easy to clean and rarely need repair service.

I bought what I THOUGHT was a top of the line fridge called the Kenmore Elite but it seems that Sears forgot that elite means best and not worst. Just after 3 years the compressor died. It took 3 weeks to get the tech out so I had to buy a temp fridge. Cost me over $600 to fix. I have come to learn they are being sued for knowing about the bad compressors and selling them anyway. STAY AWAY FROM KENMORE!

The refrigerator was on sale and Kenmore has a good reputation. They have been around for a long time. It kept things cold and was quiet. Moreover, it was pretty. However, the ice would get stuck sometimes and it was a pain. Ice would fall out onto the floor. It would beep. I think it was faulty in that department. It happened a little too often to be normal.

This is a great refrigerator to use. I love it. I never had one like this before. Love how roomy the refrigerator is big and great. Nice Kenmore. Kenmore makes the best products... What more can I say, Im lost for words. Only good things about the refrigerator.

We had another problem back in November of 2012 with this Kenmore Elite and since they did not have the part needed for this repair the refrigerator was replaced with a new one by Sears at no charge. We were given an amount equal to the purchase price of the 2003 model to buy any refrigerator at Sears. Due to a sale on Black Friday we were able to get a very nice replacement at no additional cost. The Service Smart Protection Agreement we purchased helped to make this possible. Needless to say, we are very pleased with Sears and their protection plans.

Never had any issues. Never had to have it repaired. Ran for several years. They have numerous models and colors to choose from. Ours was an older one, it was a side by side and it was an egg shell color.

The freezer work perfectly fine. Its a standard refrigerator and it performed as I expected a refrigerator freezer to. The refrigerator met and exceeded my expectations in terms of space. Now as far as the freezer is concerned it was able to hold much more than the regular items that I would keep stored in the freezer. Standard refrigerator on bottom with freezer on top standard regular white nothing fancy but nice and clean. Sturdy handles on both refrigerator and freezer. Pretty good value for the money. Thank goodness isnt overly price. While comparing prices to other brands the Kenmore was the best value for the particular model that I got.

I bought a new Kenmore fridge April 2015 that cost approx. $1600 (before tax), and in December 2018 it stopped working with no warning. I noticed freezer began to defrost and the fridge was not cooling. I called Sears repair and it took them 2 weeks to come out. They came today and the tech said it was the compressor and that it will be $980 to fix and there is really only a 70% chance that it will be fixed... It will never be the same and probably not worth fixing. Needless to say I am so upset, we lost all our food. It’s only been 3 years since I bought Kenmore fridge, I shouldnt be having this problem AT ALL!!! It shouldnt cost me anything. I got the same out of warranty spiel and customer service wasnt helpful at all. When I told him I shouldnt be having this problem at 3 years, he said, “Well that depends on HOW YOU HAVE BEEN USING IT...” I am near tears, I am so frustrated... I am going to throw a beautiful new fridge in the garbage. I cant believe this is happening to me. I had to buy a $100 fridge from Craigslist just to have food in the house for my kids. Kenmore isnt standing behind their products...what is being done??? I read all of the complaints here and I am SHOCKED there are so many people with the same compressor issues... Obviously at this point there should be a recall!

I dont experience any performance problem. The refrigerator function is outstanding, energy saving, and good performance, is a recommended refrigerator. Excellent, no big size but not small, easy to moving in kitchen, good as other refrigerator of other brands, perfect for apartments. Chrome appearance, beautiful gloss, easy to clean, no scratches and good for apartments and houses. Unique modern appearance. All family members like it. Good price, good performance for the value. If you like a good model and good price, you need this refrigerator. Just buy it.

Had plenty of room for all my food. It was easy to set up the temperature and it never failed at its job. Normal sized fridge and had plenty of room for large items like the water pitcher and milk. The freezer also was great. Never had any problems with it. The inside was easy to clean and organized as I saw fit. The door part was large and easy to clean also. Kenmore is a great product and company. I never had any problems with it and have had it for 4 years now.

Overall the fridge has performed well. A couple of kinks: every so often it goes into Sabbath mode on its own and the ice comes out extremely fast. Other than that it performs admirably. The freezer space is always a little smaller than wed like, but the fridge space is more than enough for us. This has been something weve been mostly happy with. I think that the look or curb appeal is a selling point for this refrigerator. We loved it from the day we bought it in the store and have been happy ever since. We compared this refrigerator to many in its class and Kenmores pricing really was at or below what the other refrigerators cost. Definitely a selling point.

Cracks in plastic around glass shelf, put super glue seems to be holding on one shelf. The other shelf plastic around glass come apart cant use the shelf at all. Hundred twenty five dollars for one shelf. Then I notice cracks on the inside of icebox back and sides. I never have put anything hot on the shelves to cause them to crack. My daughter bought me the refrigerator new for a Christmas present.

I have a Kenmore Refrigerator (model 253.6000), purchased 11 months ago by my husband for our garage. It has quit working twice, thawing all of the food in the freezer. There is no garage kit for this model and no information in the owners manual that informs the consumer that the unit will stop working in the summer and winter during extreme temperatures. I have been informed that it was manufactured by Frigidaire.

These units are a separate matched pair, Kenmore Elite ref and freezer. I purchased these units in Jan. 2011 but didnt plug them until Sept. 2011 because I remodeled the kitchen. Neither unit worked properly. From the start, the freezer would not get below 22 deg. The repairs finally got the freezer working. The ref has never gotten below 39 deg. with temp control on 7. The compressor has been replaced, thermostat, the timer and then rechecked at another appointment but it still will not cool. On 24 Nov., it was 48 deg, on the 25th, 42 deg. Today it is 40. deg. I have had at least 7 or 8 appointments for these units. On Nov. 24, 2012, I had to purchase another Kenmore ref as a back up because I cannot depend on this unit, which I could not afford because I am on a fixed income (disabled). I talked to lemon service, 1 800 927 7836, today. Their service records are not accurate. One comment from the Tech repairman stated I didnt want any more service. This is not correct. He said he didnt know what else to do. I need to be contacted about more info. Please.

We purchased the Kenmore Elite Refrigerator, side by side. In less than five years the whole compressor was fried. It was total trash. I have never had such a bad experience with an appliance. I had my previous refrigerator for 20 years.

Good refrigerator with great quality for the dollar. I have had no complaints and has been consistent throughout my 2 years having it. The size of the refrigerator is normal compared to many of the other name brand fridges. Has a freezer on top and fits perfectly in my house. The clean look of the fridge goes well in any home and style of kitchen including mine. I can see this fridge fitting in with almost anything you put around it. The refrigerator is somewhat pricey but for the money that you are paying, there will not be any problems or troubles with its functionality.

Got CL err. Kenmore replaced the fridge, but process took over a month. Four months later same problem, but Kenmore decided to replace compressor. Looking at another month before part arrives. Most miserable experience ever! Thought with LG takeover things would be okay. Avoid Kenmore at all cost.

Our refrigerator is 12 years old. It has never let us down never needed repairs. Definitely a good investment. If we need replacement parts they are happy to help. I would definitely buy this brand again and again.

Its spacious, works properly, has temperature control settings, it has a freezer, it has compartments to store vegetables and fruits, the door has spacious shelves as well. It is a reputable brand that manufactures quality products.

If I could I wouldnt even give it a whole star. Maybe half a star if theyre lucky. The fridge we bought did not last very long. Maybe 3 years and when it broke down it was near impossible to get any help to get it fixed. The warranty was expired and was forced to have to buy a new one. The warranties that the fridges have are junk and should be at least 5 years. They are cheaply built, built to not last so you have to buy a new one in a few years. Will never buy anything Kenmore ever again. Totality dissatisfied with their products and warranties you get with items.

I Bought our Kenmore Elite/LG made refrigerator in June of 2016 and in July 2019 the compressor died after our warranty expired. Food in the freezer was completely thawed and the refrigerator food was warm. We are so disappointed in the product after spending $2,500. By the time the repairman showed up, order the parts and installation I will be without a refrigerator for 23 days. The repairman even told me that I will probably have to do this again in 2 to 3 years because they are replacing them with the same compressor with the same issue. I would not have expected this to happen in just 3 years. Im very disappointed and would never buy another again.

Plenty of room for my groceries... Plenty of shelving and temperature controlled drawers. Love it. Easy to keep clean. Self defrosting is a joy to have. In accordance to size for my household its perfect. I am a shopper so I always could use more room... but I make do with what I have. No regrets with my fridge. My fridge is simple the way I like it. Do not need anything too extravagant. It is the right size and looks great in my eyes... fits perfectly in my kitchen. The price of my appliance was cost efficient for me and my needs. It has all features needed for what I buy and put in it. All in all a good deal.

Model #596.72213200 - On Wednesday, December 3rd my 84 year old mother opened the refrigerator door only to have it fall off and pull her down to the floor. Everything fell on the floor and broken glass was everywhere. I had her dial 911 for emergency help. She is bruised and sore from the fall. We had our appliance man, Paul Long Appliances come to fix the door and he has applied loctite to the screw that came loose at the bottom. He assured her that the screw will not come out again. He stated that this is a design flaw that allows the screw to come undone by opening the door to the right. My mother, myself and the appliance man feel that this model is a danger and should be recalled.

Overall, it was a good refrigerator with decent space and storage options, but we had to have it fixed 3 times in 2 years. Also, the freezer was very difficult to open and close. I loved the shelving design because I could easily fit all of the essentials and still have space where it was needed for odds and ends and everything still fit comfortably. It has a very modern appearance, so it fit well in my remodeled kitchen. The only con was that it was difficult to clean and often showed dirt and streak marks on the outside. Overall, considering what I paid for the refrigerator, I feel it was a good value. The appearance and size were both great. It met our needs very well.

We purchased a new refrigerator from Sears not quite 4 yrs ago and weve had three service calls, today will be our FOURTH. It has gone from not freezing to freezing too much in the freezer, to not cooling in the fridge part. It is my belief that when a customer has that many problems with an appliance it should be considered a big lemon and should be replaced. I am 65 yrs old and never in my wildest dreams have I ever encountered so many problems. It has been a BIG headache from day one. I would not recommend Kenmore or Sears to anyone.

The Kenmore refrigerator I had was an upper freezer/lower refrigerator model that actually ran for close to 15 years before I had to replace the unit. It never broke down but it never had the extra amenities like Ice Maker. It was the only refrigerator I owned that never experienced zonal freezing, where items in the back of the fridge will freeze. Overall a steady workhorse unit.

The freezer was frost free and holds everything that needs to be kept frozen so no problems there. The refrigerator worked quietly, kept everything cold, had enough room to hold all items, and easy to clean. It can hold fridge containers of soft drinks, gallon jugs of tea, holds everything that needs to be kept cold with no problems. It fits in the area where it needed to be and the appearance looked wonderful. Just a fantastic appliance to have in the kitchen. It saves money on the electric bill and is a great deal for the price.

I had a Sears charge card, like the features, had experience with Kenmore appliances, convenience, and the price was right. I like the refs the ice maker, door water distributor, side by side refrigerator and freezer, and the three drawers in refrigerator. But I wish there was an easier way to change filter, which is located on the bottom of the freezer and is very very very hard to change.

I loved my Kenmore! Very reliable, sturdy, and even though its not the newest item in my kitchen, it works still very well after all these years! Its one with the Freezer box on the bottom, and its a slide out. The top is very roomy, and there is plenty of space for all of my groceries. The top gets a little cold, sometimes freezes my items on the top shelf, but thats due to when I turn the air up too much.

Kenmore is a good reputable brand that is made to last a long time and they still make a good reliable one today. I had bought all my appliances from Sears which is a major Kenmore seller. The prices were good and had good ratings. Colors were right for my kitchen. It was a reliable refrigerator with regular freezer on top made of good materials. No problems with it. Only changed it when I wanted to update my kitchen and change to a different color. The freezer on the top was a plus for this refrigerator.

All Kenmore refrigerators has very good appearance. They are low maintenance and easy to clean inside, too. The refrigerators has various sizes, plenty storage and will hold almost anything you would want to put in. Out of all the different refrigerators I have, Kenmore is the best brand and the best performance. It is very dependable, keeps food fresh and seems like it last forever. Value is very high and worth the price you pay for. I would recommend to anyone.

This refrigerator was very spacious and had 3 drawers and adjustable shelves. The drawers were big and the freezer compartment was very big also. This refrigerator was very easy to keep clean just by wiping it off. The shelves and drawers were removable and also easy to clean. It also matched my kitchen very nicely. This refrigerator was a great deal. I bought it from Sears and was able to finance it and had it paid off in 12 months. I looked at several different places and at different refrigerators and this was a great deal.

Ice maker mold cracked and calling Kenmore customer service, they said I would need a new ice maker. The plastic mold ($10 at most), cannot be purchased separately. Cost: $75 for the replacement unit. If we extrapolate, the next step will be for them to require replacement of the refrigerator if the interior light bulb needs replacing.

Bought in May 2019. Had to call for repair in August. Temp inside was 17.5. Lost everything due to freezing. Twice. Its a 20 cu top freezer with door shelves on inside. Takes up all the space you have inside of fridge.

2006-2007 Kenmore trio 76583: On Friday, a day before houseful of guest (30 people), the freezer was not getting cold and everything was defrosted. Then the next day, the fridge stopped working. We have had issues with food freezing in the fridge and had to throw away a lot of fruits and vegetables. I have an old Amana that is 28 years old and it still works, and paid about $400.00. The Kenmore cost me about $1,800 or more and stops working in 6 years. What kind of junk is Sears selling these days? Always thought that Sears was a good brand, but not anymore.

It keeps my groceries fresh for weeks and Ive never had a problem with it. There is also a water dispenser which makes it extremely easy to get water and ice cubes whenever I need them. I have never had to call a handyman for repairs. I am a hundred percent satisfied with my refrigerator.

I got the black model, and I love it - very shiny - only downside is that it does show spills and splashes a lot. Inside, it is very bright and clean looking. Overall, very slick! I have no complaints about the size, has more than ample space for a 3-4 person family - the freezer is more than adequate for two weeks of frozen goods - and while my fridge is usually very stocked, I dont run out of room! Fridge works fantastically - I set everything around the middle setting and havent had to adjust it too much. It stays cold and frozen - cleans easily - and hasnt broken down yet! Also, not overpriced and you get your moneys worth with this model!

Purchased an expensive French Door Bottom refrigerator from Sears in Feb. of 2013. Last week it stopped working. Called the Sears Service and they said they will charge $99 to come out and then give an estimate for the repairs. They also tried to sell me their 5-year warranty for $324.0 which is sold for $150 by Home Depot and Lowes. I called another repair service who charged me $65 to check the problem and said that compressor is not working would cost $750.00 to replace the compressor. We decided to junk the refrigerator and buy an LG two-door top freezer for $990. Will never again buy a Sears brand product.

I just had the WORST customer service experience of my life. Dont buy a Kenmore product, because if it breaks youll be stuck waiting for repairs. This morning my husband noticed that the ice maker on our Kenmore Elite refrigerator was leaking and the ice was melting. Not only that but the food in the fridge was warm and the stuff in the freezer was thawing and melting. When I called customer service for repairs the lady on the phone could not understand the issue. I had to explain to her several times that it wasnt just the ice maker or just the freezer but that the entire unit wasnt working. She then had me open both doors of the refrigerator (letting out what little cool air was remaining) and push some buttons while holding my phone up to the Kenmore Connect symbol so it could send a message about whats wrong.We had to do this multiple times until she eventually told me that I would be receiving a parts in the mail in the next 2 to 3 DAYS and that a technician would be out on December 31. So Im without a fridge for TWO WEEKS! Forget cooking Christmas dinner or hosting a New Years party. This is unacceptable. If Amazon can deliver a package in under an hour, then Kenmore should be able to put a technician in a truck to pick up the parts at whatever warehouse theyre located in and drive out to my house TODAY to fix the issue.
