I purchased a Kenmore side by side refrigerator in 2008. The cost was over $2000 and I have had problem after problem and now the warranty has a cap of $500 and the labor and parts are over $500. DO NOT PURCHASE A KENMORE

I purchased a Sears refrigerator in late August 2010. Of course, it is a Kenmore product. I had my fridge for 22 months in working order. I paid $1,355.98 and for a fridge to last that long is ridiculous! The compressor went in my fridge, which had to be faulty or a lemon. Im a single mother and that is a lot of money for me to come up with. Unfortunately, I never purchased the extended warranty which at the time was close to $300.00. I lost $200.00 at least of food in my fridge and to repair my fridge will cost me $400.00 for the part and $300.00 for the service. Unbelievable that Kenmore and anyone working at Sears can stand behind this product and actually write on their invoice, The brands you want at the store you trust. I contacted the service center and the store I purchased at. They would not do anything to compensate for this or even meet me halfway on the part, I would have considered repairing it. So, its GE product for me from now on. I will never purchase anything from Sears again. If I bought a $20.00 clothing item and it ripped, I would definitely have no problem bringing it back. But a large appliance after 22 months of purchase and for no one to seem to care at Sears blows my mind!

It does its job. I bought this 3 years ago with great discounts during the Christmas sales. It is still working great and looks brand new. I have not had a problem with it. This refrigerator is not too big nor small. It just the right side. It fits perfectly in our kitchen. I would definitely recommend this to everyone. It is stainless steels. It is sometimes hard to keep up with it because of the finger prints on them. However it looks sharp and stylish!

Ice cubes arent great but everything else is great. I have plenty of room for everything. I like the feature to choose the shape of ice you want but the crushed isnt too crushed and the other cubes are not big enough. The size is perfect size for a family of 5 and a grocery shopping trip for a months worth of groceries. Side shelves, big drawers. Freezer also has plenty of shelving space on the side and upright. The stainless steel look really is lovely. It has a very sophisticated appearance and contemporary modern for todays trends. It gives off a chic type of vibe and is very noticeable. The pricing is just where it should be for this type of appliance. Not too cheap but also not very expensive. Its very affordable for anyone shopping for a refrigerator.

My Kenmore Refrigerator is small and white with a freezer on top and a fridge on the bottom. Its an apartment size refrigerator but fits one month worth of groceries. Ive had it for for 9 years and and it runs every day. It is very well made and uses less electricity. Its easy to clean and perfect for one person.

Very nice side by side refrigerator. Holds a lot but I would rather have a under freezer. They seem to hold more. Lots of problems with my ice maker which broke right after my warranty!

I needed a refrigerator that stays cold for a long time and Kenmore seem to be a great brand. It gets cold so fast and keeps food cold. It also have plenty of room for my food. It is also customizable, I could add an ice maker or switch the sides of the door if I wanted to do so. But the engine is so loud, I heard it through the walls and sometimes I could hear it while Im asleep in my room. I also want a freezer that carry a lot of food and the freezer part could be a bit bigger. Other than that, my expectations were met and I would get this product and brand again if I so wish.

We have had our freezer top fridge for over 15 years now. Only issue we had when we first bought it was trying to squeeze into our narrow doorways in the house into our kitchen. Its just now starting to go and needs to be replaced. So, with proper care, a new one could last for at least 10 years.

I like that Kenmore is a trusted brand with a strong tradition. I also chose because of previous experience with the brand. This is the brand we had in our house growing up. Its a sturdy fridge with a good amount of space and drawers to hold a variety of food. I am pretty happy with it as a whole.

I had a Kenmore refrigerator for over 25 years. It was the best one I have ever owned. Any Kenmore appliance will last for years. It is the best you will ever own if you purchase one. I never had to replace any parts or have any repairs done to it. It just kept working and working. It was big enough to hold anything I ever needed it to hold. Kenmore refrigerators may cost a bit more than other brands, but it is well worth the extra money because it will last what seems like an eternity.

It was built well & lasted quite awhile. I never had to require service and only got a new one because I bought a new home and left the Kenmore refrigerator as part of the sale. My current home already had a refrigerator already installed.

Our Kenmore bottom freezer fridge cost $1700 and the dreaded LG compressor quit cooling in less than 3 years. Purchased Oct. 2017 and quit cooling July 2020. Opened the fridge and water from ice went all over the floor. Fridge and freezer were both way above correct temps. Had to throw out every thing. I noticed the compressor was VERY hot so I unplugged it until a repairman could look at it. Turned it on before he came and 3 hours later he said he could have fried an egg on it. And that it needed a new compressor and was the LG brand made for Kenmore and known to have this compressor problem. Very disappointing as my previous Kenmore fridge lasted 25+ years.

I bought a Kenmore Elite refrigerator 3 1/2 years ago for $1500. Within the first few weeks, the motherboard went out. The repair guy said that it was a good thing it was on warranty because a new one would have been $900. Three plus years later, the seal system died. Compressor, good; motherboard, good; motor, good. Cooling, nada. Called Sears. Im not under warranty. They want $99 to diagnose and couldnt be there for 3 days. Called another local repair with a great reputation. He checked it out, diagnosed the problem and said they should cover the seals for five years, but, even if they picked up the cost of the parts (what a warranty would do), it would still be $1200 to repair. Another repair company confirmed. He suggested I call Kenmore directly. That is impossible. You get routed back to Sears. I used to count on Kenmore for all my appliances. No more. What a piece of junk.

5 yr old Kenmore Elite fridge and freezer is not working. Ive been told multiple different answers all week long with multiple customer representatives. I have spent hours on phone calls with them and being transferred to multiple reps and departments trying to resolve the issue. This is beyond ridiculous as far as customer service. They are deplorable, simply deplorable, and no resolve.

We really like the Kenmore refrigerator but there are some things that we like more than others. The cost is a big thing for us. We are a working family and need all the money that we can get.

I purchased a Kenmore refrigerator and other Kenmore appliances when remodeling my kitchen in 2010. The shelves in the refrigerator door are very thin plastic and Ive had to replace both shelves now. The cost is $48.00 per shelf. I think that it is unacceptable. It is just not well designed. It also takes too long to get the replacement parts. I am not a satisfied customer and the parts customer service person I spoke to only said shed make a note in my file.

I just love this refrigerator. The shelves are adjustable, the freezer at the bottom is very convenient and has extra tray for ice cubes. I can adjust the shelves as needed to fit all of the items I need in the refrigerator. The vegetable bins are large and roomy. Tall items fit well in the door shelves. Flat items store well also. The freezer has ample room for flat frozen items, I dont have to put in my large freezer. The refrigerator is easy to clean. It has a non stick coating that makes stains and fingerprints wipe off easily. Great for families with little ones with sticky fingers. At first look I thought the cost was too much. But as I researched, I found the value of this refrigerator well worth the cost. This is our second refrigerator. We gave the other one to a sister and she still has it. It holds its value really well.

We have had our Kenmore refrigerator in our boathouse for 3 years and it has worked great keeping the temperature. Even through the heat from the summer and the cold from the winter.

Great fridge, we have had this for 12 years and still running great and pleased with the years it served us. When this goes I will not purchase another side by side. Not happy with room in freezer. But otherwise everything good.

It keeps food in freezer at right temperature and food in bottom of fridge at right temperature. It is small but the space in my kitchen is small. What I like the best about it is the price. For a small fridge it is very roomy inside. The compartments on the inside of the door are wide and roomy. It holds everything I need for it to hold. The same is true for the freezer. It is an almond color which matches the decor in my kitchen. It is easier for me to keep clean than the chrome fridge I have in my main kitchen. I did a thorough search on the internet and this fridge was the best value for the price. It had all good reviews. Now that I have owned it a while I can say for certain it is a great value.

We bought a Kenmore to go in our new home. Its a white fridge with a freezer on the top. It has an ice maker which we have never had a problem with. I love this fridge. Its very roomy and has spill proof shelves. Its so easy to clean and keep organized. There are 3 drawers on the inside. One I use for small packages of stuff (cheese, pepperoni, lunch meat, etc.) and the other two are used for veggies & fruits. The drawers on the door are wide so they fit multiple items. The drawers on the door are also adjustable so if you have a taller bottle, you can move the shelf up to accommodate it. Love this fridge! Zero problems with it!!

The Kenmore refrigerator is a high quality appliance. It keeps my food and the freezer does well also. The temperature was very easy to adjust with the well designed button inside of the fridge. It have space to put items on the door. It has three layers of shelves with storage for vegetables and fruits at the bottom of the Kenmore refrigerator. It has self cleaning freezer also. It is good value for the money and great service to my family and I. It has a nice ivory color, two doors and fits nicely in my kitchen. The doors close confidently and you dont have to force it. Everyone who visit me make pleasing compliments. When they need an refrigerator they wanted to get a Kenmore brand. I am very satisfied with it and would recommend it to anyone.

Its a good basic refrigerator. Nothing too fancy but good enough to deal with our everyday life. Not good if you have a large family or entertain a lot, as you will run out of room very fast. Its good enough for a family of 4. If you entertain a lot or have people who looove food, get a bigger fridge. Otherwise, this is good enough. Its plain so it wont stand out too much if you live in a crappy place. Can decorate it with magnets or drawings etc. Easy to clean the outside too. It was a good price I suppose. The fancier you go, the more broke you will be.

The Kenmore refrigerator was here when I moved and it works ok and keeps things cold and frozen. Also, it has ice maker but I dont use it because I do not use tap water.

We purchased an LG refrigerator through Sears under Kenmore name with model number 795.71309.011. Fridge is under warranty for only one more week, and the top portion stopped working. Service man told us today that this is a problem with this models bottom drawer design, because you think it is closed but it is open enough to cause a frost problem that freezes the fan. It appears to be a similar problem to other LG refrigerators that have been recalled and the fan can be a fire hazard. Our model has not been recalled, but serviceman said we better get extended warranty because this is a lousy model. If he is telling the truth, it should have been recalled. If he is lying, its a Sears scam to scare us into buying expensive extended warranties. It also took the one week to come out and service, because they ordered a new PCB, but that wasnt even the problem.The service man said that this model has been out five years with this problem with no change in the design. There is too much play in the bottom drawer door. He changed the PCB anyway, because he said he changes 30-40 bad PCBs a year on this model. He also changed the sensor in the freezer drawer door that communicates to the PCB.I feel that in light of his information, Sears should give me the extended warranty for free. They also dented the door when it was originally delivered, and we could never get through on the 800 number to get compensation. And they count on us being too busy to follow through.

I purchased a Kenmore refrigerator with a bottom freezer in September 2017. Ive had the technician over twice already. The problems associated with this are loss of food; inconvenience and the mental stress I go through each time I call because I have to wait a minimum of seven (7) days for an appointment. When I complained to the customer service rep I was told that they only label appliances non functioning after FOUR visits.This is a very poor business model from a company whose main product is appliances. So here I am once again in the middle of summer with a refrigerator that is not sending cold air up from the freezer to the refrigerator so I dont even have cold water. Shameful. I would not recommend anyone purchase appliances from them unless they have a guarantee to have service in 24 hours from when the request is made. And yes! I did pay $241 for an extended coverage and the service still sucks.

It keeps the food cold but its my first side by side refrigerator and I would never buy a side by side refrigerator again. I do not like side by side. It is small but its just me in the house so the size is ok. The freezer side is too narrow so larger items like turkeys dont fit in the freezer. I perceive the value to be valuable enough. I dont remember what I paid for it but I dont recall it being pricey.

Do not buy any refrigerator from Kenmore. They do not stand behind their products. I have a two year old refrigerator (Kenmore elite refrigerator) that has rust spots all over the outside doors that should be a defect in the material but they refuse to do anything about it.

Solid built reliable refrigerator. Kept foods cold! Freezer with ice machine- wonderful. I bought the extended warranty and it came in handy as the refrigerator got older. I grew up on Kenmore and love Kenmore products and quality!!

Refrigerator worked well, no problems. Ice maker was especially nice during the hot weather and ice cream was kept frozen but not brick hard. Vegetable crispers kept veggies crisp and the temperature was constant without having to be adjusted all the time. It was the perfect size for my not too big, not too small kitchen. I would have preferred a bit more width in the freezer compartment for things like frozen pizza boxes, but I only had so much space and this refrigerator freezer was exactly what I needed. I myself am not a great fan of stainless steel appliances, but it was on sale and my ex-husband thought it would look nice. When it was delivered, he was so happy, he wanted to get all new appliances to match. Good mid-priced refrigerator and Kenmore was having a sale so we got a good price. I would have preferred something from a different manufacturer but my ex-husband had been brought up with Kenmore and since it was on sale, it was a decent value.

My Kenmore has lasted a long time. It has a great freezer section. My food stays cold. I do not have to worry about food spoilage. I have a lot of room in my refrigerator for all of my food and condiments.

Ample space. Sliding shelves. Sliding drawers. Laid out very nice. Freezer on bottom with 2 shelves, lots of room. Single door with ice cube (inside) maker. Easy to clean. Black shows more dirt. Would not recommend that color.

My compressor failed twice within 5 years. The extended warranty had just run out the second time, so we decided not to pay the $600+ to replace it. The ordeal in just getting the first one was horrible - we were without a fridge for weeks. Then we found out 7 months later that it was also failing! Never buy LG/Kenmore refrigerators!

I looked at a lot of refrigerators and this Kenmore refrigerator was the best for the price. The size was fine considering we only had a certain amount of space for a fridge with our countertops and our ceiling. The fridge had enough room and it came fully loaded, with all the bells and whistles. It kept things cold, had a water dispenser and made ice so we didnt have to use trays. Moreover, it was smudge resistant stainless steel which everybody loves.

It worked really well except the shelves kept breaking on the door. It kept veggies and fruits, and lunch meat cold in the bottom drawers but be careful not to turn too cold because if you put anything on the top shelf too cold it will freeze. It was good for when I needed it. Freezer is small but fridge part is big enough to put gallon milk on bottom shelf. A little too small for my family of 5. It would get overstuffed with groceries and leftovers. It was white with freezer and fridge. It had glass shelves and two drawers in the bottom of the fridge for meats and veggies. The bottom above the drawers was plastic and breaks easy. The door of the fridge, the guards break off easy. It was a good value for a small family or starting out with a basic fridge. It held a good amount of food but the freezer... it was very small basically for ice and a few meats.

We paid over $3300.00 7 years ago for this top of the line fridge. Loved it until it died. Compressor shot and guess what? The compressor is an LG. Why is an LG part in a Kenmore or rather a GE or Whirlpool appliance? It would cost us more to replace the compressor and labor than to buy a new one. And we had a warranty... 5 years. I realize Kenmore no longer makes its own appliances and that’s a shame because they used to be the very best. But honestly this is really beyond my comprehension. No wonder Sears is going under. Shame, shame. We gave my daughter and her husband our old side by side Whirlpool more than 20 years ago and it’s still humming along. Guess we’ll be carefully looking for a new fridge tonight. Buyer beware.

I enjoyed my Kenmore for a little over 10 years before I traded in for a newer model. I wanted to upgrade and have an ice maker. I never had any serious issues with it and it kept food exactly at the temperature I set. Even when I lost electric last summer for 10 hours, I knew I wouldnt have to worry about the food in my fridge spoiling.

Very efficient and quiet and also very easy to use with little or no help at all. Its great. I will/wish all of your appliances worked as quietly as that brings to memory when my fridge went kaput. You can fit pots and pans and skillets and soil washers. It also will allow you to put in coolers if theyre not of great size and does get those clean especially after camping and fishing. It has a really Sleek look. Very small in size and fits in the smallest Corner in my kitchen but still is very easy to access. It was the best one that we saw for sale at the time especially for the small size. Besides having a very Sleek look and being small enough to fit in the corner of my kitchen the value seems fantastic as it has a really new look although it is not too old. I really do love it.

Kenmore refrigerator are very reliable and last long-term. The brand has a very recognizable name and it is an AMERICAN brand which is a plus. Kenmore line is also available in many store locations. They are always modernizing their brand.

On 21 August 2011, we returned home from after a weekend away and noticed that our Sears Kenmore refrigerator (Model: 71309) was not working at all. We have purchased this appliance in June of 2009 with a three year extended warranty. We assumed that since the manufacturer warranties the appliance for the first year, our protection would begin once that ended. Clearly, we were misinformed at the time of our purchase. The entire contents of the freezer/refrigerator were lost. We placed a call to 1-800-4MY-HOME and were informed that our protection agreement expired on 30 June 2011 (not quite two months prior). We were told at that time that a technician could not even come to look at the refrigerator until 09 September 2011. When asked if there was any way someone could come and, at least, look at it before then to determine what was wrong, we were told no. On 22 August 2011, I called 1-800-4MY-HOME again to try to discuss any possible options since we buy all of our appliances from Sears. Meanwhile, I had to have another company come out to look at the unit for $89.00 to, at least, find out what was wrong. They came on on 24 August 2011 and determined that the mother board fuse was blown and a whole new mother board must be installed.On 22 August 2011, I spoke with Ella after calling the 1-800 number. Ella was helpful. She informed me that we could purchase a one year extension for our appliance for $163.98. I asked if we could possibly have a courtesy extension to help move the service request along and perhaps avoid the $89.00 fee for someone else to come and look at the refrigerator, she advised no. Once we paid the one year extension of $163.98, we could schedule an emergency service call where someone would come out within five days. I asked why we were not notified that our warranty was going to expire, and was told that no notification was being sent out. Only as a courtesy, we were given the option of extending for the $163.98. I then asked if we could schedule the emergency service first and then my fiance would just call back to give our credit card information. She said no and that we must call back and pay the extension first before we could schedule. My fiance called back that same day and was given an extremely hard time. At first, they told him that the amount to pay was $251.00. He said that I had just called an hour or so ago and was told $163.98. He was told again that it was $251.00. He called me to ask who I spoke with and I advised him that it was Ella. Finally, after being transferred three times, the amount of $163.98 was found to be the amount to pay. Then, when tried to activate the Emergency Service call, they told him that no one could come out until 07 September. He said that there should be a note saying that we are requesting an emergency service because we had been without the refrigerator since 21 August 11. Reluctantly, a call was scheduled for 29 August 2011 between 1 - 4. We asked that a note be put on the account stating that this could not be cancelled. On 29 August 2011, after taking the afternoon off from work, we received a call at 3:30 saying that the technician had called out sick and they had to cancel the appointment. (Why wait until 3:30?) Then, we asked, Does it say that this appointment cannot be cancelled? The reply was, Yes, but there was no technician available to come. They could reschedule for 30 August 2011 between 1 - 4 again. We were not happy but we agreed. I also called to inquire about the food we lost and was told to give the list to the technician. He would have to call the food loss department and verify a few things.On 30 August 2011, at about 3:45, we received the call that the technician was running much too late to get there, asking if could they reschedule. My fiance had been home since 1:00 p.m. After he informed me of this, I called the escalated customer solutions phone number and was treated with no respect stating that we were given the option of cancelling. This was done if your customers had to go back to work or had other plans. I said that the technician wanted to cancel the appointment again. It was already too late to return to work and we had taken two half days already. This was unacceptable. I advised that I didnt care how late they were going to be. I would be there and I wanted a technician to arrive, prepared to fix my refrigerator. The lady on the phone reluctantly checked with scheduling and I was told that someone would be there that day. She could not give me a time, though.I left work and headed home. Half way home, my fiance called to say that the technician arrived at 4:20 and was there for 9 minutes. The technician determined that the mother board was blown, had to order a part, and no one could come back until 14 September to install it (This was Karl from the Blue team). Karl then proceeded to tell my fiance that if he was handy with a screwdriver (since the part was being mailed to our home), my fiance could open up the back of the refrigerator and install the part himself. Wouldnt this void my warranty that I just purchased? He then said that the part would arrive Thursday to our home. My fiance stated that he was not going to install it himself and when he said that he had the food list to give to the technician to call the food loss department, Karl said that he couldnt take that list. It wouldnt be covered anyway, and there was nothing he could do. We would have to wait until the unit was repaired to even attempt to call it in. My fiance was at a loss of words. Karl left after being there for a total of 9 minutes. My fiance called me as I was still on my way home so I attempted to call Sears again and tried to explain that I was extremely dissatisfied with the events that took place. I was told to hold and the line got disconnected. (It was 4:45 when I called). When I called back, I was told that the offices were closed until 8:00 a.m. the next morning. Needless to say, I was not very happy. When I arrived home, I was shocked to find in the mail a renew your warranty letter. The worst part? It said that I had until 03 October 2011 to renew. The cost? $130.00, which was $35.00 cheaper than what we had paid. I am finding all of this to be a huge game being played by Sears. The notice led me to believe that I was covered until 03 October, and to renew, all I had to do was reply and pay $130.00. But I had been disconnected earlier.At 8:00 a.m. on 31 August 2011, I was calling the escalated number once again. The person who answered, after asking for my phone number, did not even let me talk. She said, I see here that there is an emergency part ordered for you and it will be delivered tomorrow. I asked about the 14 September 2011 installation and why was I disconnected last night. She said, Hold on. No, we can have someone there Saturday. I dont know what 14 September you are talking about. I tried to explain what had happened but she said, I can read it all right here, no need. Is Saturday okay for you? Between 9 - 11? I said yes, but... She interrupted me and promptly said, Have a nice day, thank you for calling Sears, and hung up. I have never been so insulted by this entire process. At this point, if the technician does not arrive on Saturday, I would like my refrigerator replaced with a three year warranty.As a bright note, I called the food loss department myself on 1 September 2011. I spoke with Ashley, who was, I must say, amazing. I told her the whole story and asked if the department would be open on Saturday so the technician could call-in the food loss as I was instructed. She said, No, but I can see what a problem you have been having. She proceeded to process the food loss claim without any problems. She was absolutely amazing, nice and helpful. If my whole experience was like this, I would not have been so angry.On Friday, 02 September 2011, we received a call confirming our appointment for Saturday 03 September between 8 - 12. So, by 12:05, when no one had arrived, called or anything, I called the escalated number that I had been calling all week. They informed me that my account was locked and it had been referred to corporate with a case manager. They could not help me other than to pass my number along and have someone call me back within two hours. I expressed my extreme displeasure and the representative informed me that she understood and would have the corporate case manager call me.I decided to call the number that had confirmed our appointment just to ask why no one had appeared at our house. After holding for 17 minutes, the representative informed me that my appointment was cancelled. I said, What? Who cancelled it? You confirmed it yesterday. She said, Well that is an automated call. I said that I didnt care if it was automated or not. It was confirmed, and this is an emergency call that has been an emergency for a long time. I asked to speak to the person who decided to cancel this without letting us know and after holding for a considerable amount of time, my call was disconnected.I called the escalated number and after holding for 15 minutes, I was informed again that my account was locked and referred to corporate. The representative assured me that she would take my number to her manager (who would get in touch with the case manager) and someone would call me back shortly. I had been at home waiting since 8:00 a.m. and it was now 2 p.m.Then, I received a call from case manager Edwins assistant**. She stated that she reviewed my case and that she understood my frustration. Edwin would contact me today. I explained that I would have never known the appointment had been cancelled had I not called them several times. I informed her that I was completely aggravated and that I could no longer afford to take any time from work. It has been 17 days without a refrigerator, I have been hung up on, given more excuses that I can count and lost time from work. I wanted either someone to come on my time to install the part or I wanted the refrigerator picked up and have my money refunded. At this point, I dont want anything from Sears in my home since its nearly impossible to get it fixed or get any help on an emergency situation. Ive had to eat out for three weeks, which I cannot afford. I cant go another day without a refrigerator.As I am typing this email, I received a call from a technician that he was at our home to install a part. I am flabbergasted. I informed him that someone was supposed to be there on Saturday but no one showed up. There was no one home today. He said, So, you are telling me that I cant install this? I said, That is what I am telling you. No one showed up on Saturday and we found out that it was cancelled after six hours of waiting. He said, I just install parts. I dont know anything else. I said, Well, there is no one home. No one knew you were coming. I know that its not your fault but this has been escalated to corporate. No one can get there because we had no idea you were coming.At 9:45, Rowland in routing just called me apologizing. He informed me that someone cancelled the appointment for Saturday, set it up for today without letting anyone know and that should not have happened. He doesnt understand why but he realizes that this was the wrong thing to do. He said that he can have someone come first appointment on Wednesday, 07 September 2011. Meanwhile, I still have no phone call from the case manager or corporate offices. This is completely unacceptable!Today, 07 September 2011, I just got off the phone with 1-800-469-4663 since Rowland informed me that we would be first on the appointment. But now, they informed me that I am on the schedule for tomorrow between 8 - 12. How much longer is this going to go on? I still have not received satisfaction/ resolution from the case manager. I still do not have a working refrigerator (this is Day 19) and again, we are being pushed off until another day. I feel like this is being treated as a joke. This is still completely unacceptable. I am tired of hearing we are sorry, this is beyond being sorry.

We had a Kenmore refrigerator when our kids were young in the 80 and 90. We also had other Wards products. The Kenmore refrigerator lasted almost 20 years. It was reliable, low maintenance and served its purpose very efficiently. We had a maintenance contract on the refrigerator but never had to use it as I remember. This refrigerator lasted a long time. When it stopped working after many years, we simply had it removed from the house and bought a new one. I knew that the Kenmore was not fixable due to its age and lack of parts to fix it. The Kenmore brand was durable particularly if you have kids going in and out of the fridge daily. Kenmore was a solid American-made fridge (I hope) that only stopped once (when I had to buy a new one).

Its good, pretty, white, and clean. Its a little big but it looks great. It comes in a large varieties of colors and shapes and sizes so you should be able to find the right one for you and your family. It is a very big fridge and freezer. You should be able to fit everything you need to fit in there. Could have maybe use a little bit more space in the freezer though. But the refrigerator runs great and the freezer works great, too. It has not broken yet. One of the shelves falls off all of the time but it is very easy to fix. It just slides right back on. That is the only problem we have had with the fridge and freezer.

Kenmore refrigerator works wonders. Love the style and how it looks. The size is also so amazing and big. It holds all your food and in your freezer. Its a must - every lady needs this in the kitchen. It is worth every penny and I would recommend it to anyone.

We bought a Kenmore Refrigerator Model #25360082412 in April 2016 that went dead in July first week. We called Sears as it was covered by a Master Service Agreement for which we had a hefty fee. It took them two weeks to come and inspect. The technician acted friendly, blamed Sears products (“very poor quality”) and also said that the compressor has gone bad. He also said that in such cases, fridges should be replaced with a new one whereas Sears is pressurizing them to get it fixed. He said he has to order the parts and not sure when the parts would come. When contacted Sears, the reply was that they need to send another technician to confirm what is wrong. Another technician came yesterday and the same scenario all over. It takes awfully long time to get hold of a person to get an answer and the person we were able to get connected said this morning that the first technician had written in his comments that we had refused the repair work. Only after three failures Sears would replace the fridge and that has not happened in our case according to him. We are waiting for the parts to come and have an appointment in ten days to get it installed, assuming the compressor arrives by then. The service by Sears is extremely bad. When you call, you get someone in Philippines who have no knowledge or understanding of appliance breakdowns and mere note takers. In a nutshell, we still have no fridge after six weeks.

I bought Kenmore refrigerator in July 2018, then the compressor was down in January 2021. Searss technician told me that Kenmore will charge me over $800 for repairing with compressor replacement, and customer service even more pissed me off!!! Different representative are saying all different story!!!! I paid $1700 brand new Kenmore Refrigerator but works only 2 years, then will pay another $800 labor cost to repair and extended warranty only 6 month... Pls remember dont buy Kenmore Refrigerator, the quality is sucks, and customer service is sucks even much more.

Kenmore has always produced great products. If you were on a budget, this is the way to go. Very nice fridge for the price. The interior of the refrigerator is very spacious and drawer size was excellent. The cooling was very good and it kept a constant temperature, in the refrigerator and freezer. My personal choice for a freezer would be on the bottom. But the top freezer worked fine. It is just a matter of taste. But didn’t have an ice maker. My current washer and fryer are Kenmore too, and I’m very happy with them.

Wife and I needed a new refrigerator and there just happened to be a sale on Kenmore appliances and we both liked the color and it was available for immediate delivery. Price was right for me at the time as well. I like the large capacity with separate crisper drawers, large freezer compartment well-lighted, on-door compartments and the ability to switch the door to open either way. But make them easier to clean. I would also improve the door compartments to fit larger items on the door rack and lighting in the freezer compartment could be better.

Plenty of room for my groceries... Plenty of shelving and temperature controlled drawers. Love it. Easy to keep clean. Self defrosting is a joy to have. In accordance to size for my household its perfect. I am a shopper so I always could use more room... but I make do with what I have. No regrets with my fridge. My fridge is simple the way I like it. Do not need anything too extravagant. It is the right size and looks great in my eyes... fits perfectly in my kitchen. The price of my appliance was cost efficient for me and my needs. It has all features needed for what I buy and put in it. All in all a good deal.

The Kenmore Refrigerator was on sale, looked very nice and easy to upkeep. It went very well with my kitchen layout and saved some space, and fit into the home I was at at the time. It also looked good with our other appliances. However, I dislike how small it was, there was a ice maker but it didnt work well and took up a lot of the room in the freezer which wasnt ideal. Also, it would hold onto finger marks or stains on the inside. Nevertheless, I like the pull out drawers. When it was brand new it looked sleek. It held a lot of food and had a good amount of space to be able to have lots of different foods in specific areas of the fridge. And I would purchase again.

This Kenmore refrigerator was on sale and I needed it. I bought it because it was cheap and it was the one I could afford. But it was overpriced even on sale. I dislike the general aesthetic though. Its plain ugly, its like a box. The magnets fall off easy. Moreover, the light burnt out as soon as I got it home. On the other hand, ice maker and door handle works really well. Freezer keeps the ice cold and refrigerator keeps beer cold and food fresh and cold. ;) But sometimes it freezes everything on the top shelf.

I was very satisfied with my old refrigerator. I wish I had stick to the one when I bought my new house. My current gave so much problem! I spent very little for my old men more and never had any problems.

These refrigerators use LG components which fail in their first 3-4 years if youre lucky. They will fail again several months or a couple years after. You will be up to your ears in repair bills and have to transfer spoiled food to a reliable old refrigerator.

Poor Ice Maker performance on our Kenmore model 106.5113 Refrigerator (Purchased April 21st, 2015). We are dissatisfied with the quantity of ice our new Kenmore refrigerator produces. We called Sears for a repair technician to come out and look at the unit. The technician explained the Sears no longer offers a repair service for these units and he was a third party contractor. He couldnt find anything wrong with the unit and said the new unit is not as good as the old ones. He suggested the accelerator option to force the refrigerator to make ice faster. I told him we tried that and even in accelerator mode, it only fills about one-half of the ice bin in twenty-four hours. We usually do without ice about midday. Our last Kenmore lasted 24 yrs and until the day it died it still would fill the ice bin in less than 24 hours. I wish I would have had it repaired now instead of this piece of junk. His only advice was to use accelerator mode. This is an indoor ice maker and it is very inferior to our previous machine if thats the case. We use to fill a small ice chest with our old machine and it would be full again in a few hours. I dont ever remember this thing ever being full. I gave their service department a poor review so they called me back for a follow-up and said that Sears didnt make Kenmore anymore and I would have to contact the manufacturer. They said this was a Whirlpool unit, gave me their number. I called Whirlpool and they said they didnt make the unit either. Im going back to the store for a refund. No wonder Sears is struggling these days. What a nightmare!

I’ve had problems with the ice maker, twice. The vegetable bins are bulky. The fridge is also very noisy, but overall it is a good machine. I think I might look around before I purchase another one of the same make.

Love the design and the size. A lot of room for all your favorite foods. Very trustworthy. Has the latest technology. Will last forever. Love how much space I has in it. Can fit a army load of food in there or at least enough to last for a very long long time. The freezer have a good bit of shape too. I love the color. It is very easy to clean and to see your own reflection like looking into a mirror. Very nice. I love it very much a lot. It is a great price for what you are buying. Has all the best features for a awesome price. And its affordable for people who dont have much money. Well worth it.

I just replaced this refrigerator several months ago from a Samsung. The Samsung ice cube maker was always breaking. My new fridge has better features, and it keeps things fresh for weeks, it’s remarkable.

Model 59672389411 - I bought this ref for $1999.99. Sears wanted me to buy a 799.99 5 year extended warranty. This was almost half the cost of the ref so I choose not to. I have never bought extended warranties before and have never needed to on appliances. I bought the ref on 7/10/15 and it stop working on 1/28/2017 that is 18 months later. Both the coolant lines were leaking. Repairman said he would have to replace them and the compressor. This is pretty much the complete sealed system. Cost would be $911.79. Again half the cost of the ref and I would only get 90 day warranty on that. I have called every number I can find for Sears. 1-888-507-9312 Sears corporate advocate who referred me to 1-888-536-6673 who referred me to 1-800-549-4505 Sears national customer hotline who told me there is nothing they can do. Before those calls I called 1-888-536-6673, 1-847-286-2500, 1-800-469-4663, and was given the e-mail address shc@customerservice.sears.com. No one at any of these numbers would help. I am just SOL. I have to throw this refrigerator in the land fill. I am appalled over this!!! Sears should be accountable for their products. I wanted to get in touch with the person who manufactured the ref because they should be accountable for the parts they make but no one will tell me who it is. I found a site that said Amana was the manufacturer. When I called them they would not say they made the parts. The consumer is being ripped off by Sears. As you can read in all the other reviews some thud is going on with the ref manufactured after 2015. I still do not have a ref and it is 3/12/2017. Because I am so mad I am going to report Sears to every agency I can find. Do not buy their products!!!

Five years ago, I purchased a Kenmore Elite refrigerator model # 25344393407 and now I have discovered cracks in the lining of both the freezer and refrigerator compartments.I contacted Sears and was told that they know of the cracking problem but there was no recall issued. The fix for this is patching the cracks with epoxy. I understand that the cracks continue to appear, this being an ongoing problem. Checking online, many have the same problem. One technician had the nerve to say that it was due to humidity in my home, I live in NY! How dare they try to blame the customer for this defect!

With my Kenmore I enjoy the space provided for storing enough food for myself for a month or even a month and a half, but it also ensures my food is kept perfectly chilled or the freezer part ensures that my meats and frozen foods stay cold and frozen. Within minutes of putting a food item into the fridge or freezer and the Kenmore appliance cools the item easily. I would recommend this appliance brand because the one I have also has been with me for a very long time and still looks to be with me for years to come.

The refrigerator after just 11 months, before the one year warranty expired, started collecting water in the bottom floor of the refrigerator (upper unit) and did not cool anymore, lost lots of food. Called their technical repair number, they sent a “technician “ who basically told me it was my job to fix it, that the problem was that I needed to defrost the refrigerator completely, wait a couple days and plug it again in order to defrost the ice that would collect on the back wall and resulted eventually in water pooling at the bottom and not cooling; never mind that it was the middle of summer and that I owned only ONE refrigerator. After many sour discussions with their repair service (How can a less than one year old refrigerator suddenly stops working?) and their insistence that they would NOT give me a new refrigerator, I decided to do as they said: defrost it, wait 2 days, plug it back. It worked for 4 months, after this period it starts all over again with same problems, called again, this time however, I was told it wasn’t under warranty any longer (1 yr 3 months old) so I had to pay for the repair, trip of technician and any parts. I refused to do that for a basically “NEW” refrigerator. I have had problems with this refrigerator every 3 or 4 months and as of now, less than two years old, I’m so frustrated that I’m ready to acknowledge a “loss” and move on, get a NEW refrigerator; obviously making sure it is NOT A SEARS BRAND or any manufacturer related to SEARS. Wondered why they are in bankruptcy? DO NOT BUY A KENMORE OR SEARS APPLIANCE in the short life they remain as a business. SEARS does NOT take responsibility or stand behind their appliances. We should have a class action suit!

Bought a new Kenmore Pro 795.79993 fridge less than 2 years ago. Now I have no fridge. $105 on-site charge to diagnose the problem. Then they want $500 to cover labor - UPFRONT before they order the part. The compressor is bad....which in itself is another $500 but they are willing to cover the part. How do you make such a substandard appliance, not stand behind your appliance, and then refuse to cover warranty work or repairs on a substandard device? DO NOT BUY. I just threw out my spare 40 y.o. Frigidaire fridge that was in the basement. I didnt even get 2 years out of my wonderful new fridge. Disgusting.

I purchased a Kenmore for several reasons. It is a brand that has great name recognition. I was looking for a smaller width refrigerator and the Kenmore line had a size I needed and had all the special features I was looking for even though it was a smaller size. The water filter is easy to change because of its location. Glass shelves are important too. They are easy to clean and so much better than the wire shelving. The vegetable drawers are deep and I like the fact that they are clear. The refrigerator is super quiet too. The ice maker really does a good job too. The location of the ice bin on the door is a feature I appreciate. Im able to see the quantity of ice and I can also remove the bin easily if needed! I just really wish they would have several lights in the freezer. For some reason I always manage to block the light with my placement of the frozen items. I also am not happy with the bottom door shelf. I find that the depth is a little too small.

The Kenmore refrigerator was a great purchase for me and my family. Everyone love this refrigerator. It was quiet, well maintain, no issues. It was just great. The price was good. Nothing but great reviews. The freezer part was a good size, bigger than I thought. The bottom part was real big and could hold a lot.

Replacement refrig, 6 months old, 2nd service call (2 weeks so far, new board, new interior panel, broke by serviceman). STAY AWAY FROM LG REFRIGERATORS. THEY SUCK. NO QUALITY CONTROL and they do not care! Buy the service package. You will need it!!!!!!!

This refrigerator was the perfect size to meet all the needs of a mid-size family. Simple white color and nothing fancy but certainly a pleasant addition to any kitchen. I believe you can get other colors also to match any decor of your kitchen. Also, no thrills or frills but just perfect to meet your needs to keep your food safe and fresh. The value of a refrigerator is not only its purchase price but more importantly in its reliability and its reliability was beyond compare to other refrigerators we have owned. It has lasted for years and Kenmore is a brand to trust.

Works well, never had a problem. Love the look, stainless is nice, very quiet. There is lots of room and the shelves are very sturdy. Easy to move the shelves and very easy to clean.

Energy-efficient. Was able to get a good discount, credit card rewards and rebate rewards, so value was even better.

I purchased a Sears Kenmore refrigerator 3 1/2 years ago for almost $3000. I didnt buy the extended warranty because in my mind I spent enough money and I thought Kenmore was a reputable product. The refrigerator that it replaced was a Kenmore and it was already 15 years old and never had one single problem. It is now in the garage. In October of this year, the new one stopped cooling. We had a service guy come out and he said it was a sealed compartment issue and I needed to have a Sears technician come out. I googled it and found that there was some success with unplugging it and waiting 4 hours, then plugging it back in. I did this and it did work, for about a month. I called Sears when it stopped working again and explained I knew it was not functioning properly because the first thing that happens is that it stops making ice. I told them that I had an independent repair guy come out and he said it was a sealed system problem. This is covered for 5 years under the manufacturers warranty. The lady I talked to said it wasnt and that I needed to buy the only warranty they offered which was a one year warranty for $300. They sent a guy out. He diagnosed a problem that wasnt covered under the manufacturers warranty but would be covered under the $300 warranty that I just purchased. It took over a week to have him back out to fix it (yes they dont come with the parts on their truck) and replaced the defective part and said if it doesnt work by the end of the day to call back. It didnt work. They sent out the same guy a week after that and he said it now was the sealed system and would be covered under the original warranty. He told us we should call and cancel the extended warranty. We waited well over a week for another guy to fix it and it took him 4-5 hours but it is working. He said we should call and cancel the extended warranty. I called and they will not refund me the $300 because the 1st repairman came out and replaced a part that wasnt under the original warranty. I explained that it also wasnt the problem. It didnt matter. I will never shop at Sears again and will share my story as often as I can.

Its a great refrigerator for its price. Works to keep everything just the right temperature. I have had the same fridge now for over 7 years and have had no problems. Next time I get another. This fridge can hold enough food for a family of 5 for at least a whole month. Next time I get a fridge though, Im going to get a side by side because its so hard to fit a lot of food in that top freezer part unfortunately. Its very plain but it does its job. Just add a few magnets to it though and bring it back to life. Other than appearance, its an awesome fridge. This fridge is a great value for its money. I didnt have to spend a lot of money at all and this fridge has lasted a little over seven years.

LOOK GREAT and loved this Kenmore Elite fridge for 14 months, then spent $99 twice to correct design flaws in the ice maker over the next 9 months. At 30 months, compressor failed. Parts under warranty but labor will be $520, obscene cost except when you consider how many repair trips it may take to get poor quality parts to work. $100/month for cold food. Off to the dump.

Ive always bought Kenmore refrigerators. Their quality impressed me far more than any other brand. They have been my first choice since I started buying my own appliances. My fridge has side by side doors, which made accessing both the freezer and regular groceries much easier than a top/bottom setup. It has twenty one cubic foot capacity with the ice maker/drink dispenser in the door. However, it was a little too tall for all the space it provided for it in my kitchen. It made it difficult to clean off the top, especially since there was a storage shelf in the space above it.

It had the features that I was looking for and it also allows me to store more food with all of the extra capacity space. It has many innovative features and great features which greatly serve my food purposes. I like all of the extra freezer space as well as extra door bins and the two side by side refrigerator doors. I also like the way it cools at different settings. It also has a well-lit interior design and it is very easy to clean the glass shelves and allows me to separate fruits and vegetables.

We got this fridge about 3 months ago and it is very good for the money and works well for my family. It serves its purpose keeping the items cold and the freezer is icy cold. The outside looks very big, but when you actually put items into it is not as big as you think. You have to be creative on how you put items in the fridge. It looks very appealing in the white color. It seems to fit around any household and the design is made it look great wherever you put the fridge. The value is really great, but again the size is something to be desired. Price cant be beat, but the size overall is way too small for a larger family.

Bought it and have not had any problems with it. Runs good and keeps things frozen. Have not had a problem with it frosting up. Dont think we have ever defrosted it. Would recommend to others. For the size it works great. We use the freezer for extra food. We are a family of five and it suits us perfectly. It is great to have space to keep extra food. It has a sleek design. It is just the right height and width. Not too big and not too small. Perfect for our families needs and looks good too. The price was just right. Needed a freezer to store extra food. When I bought my new home, I purchased a Kenmore side by side refrigerator, model # 253.5569907. Yes, the warranty has expired, so, it seems that Sears is willing to gouge me for any money they can. The enamel around the bottom of the ice dispenser is bubbling and rusting… much like a car would that has been through snow and road salt. Since Id received an invitation to renew my warranty, I decided to ask about the rust. I was transferred to 3 different operators. The last one finally told me that there was no recall on my model. I was told that I could pay for a technician to come and look at the door. (I know what rust looks like.) Also, to fix the door, perhaps the door could be replaced at my cost, of course. IF theres a site listing recalls of SEARS products, I CANNOT find it!!! Ive never known a refrigerator door to rust away. I do know that when I replace my appliances or anything else, I would think long and hard before shopping at Sears.

Purchased 11/4/15, Died 3/25/29. Slow system leak at first, not compressor. The last year had to run at full/all bar setting coldest output to one bar below that. We believe its in the cooling line/tubes. Linear compressor works fine. Additionally this units ice output slow, small subpar. We had to supplement with old fashon ice cube trays. 33 side by side, water ice in door, Stainless steal. Kenmore Elite 51813, LG made, The last Kenmore refrigerator lasted over 25 yrs. We didnt expect it to last that long but geesh 3 and half years. Unacceptable! Had to throw some food out and dragged my daughters old shop fridge sitting now outside my kitchen, Florida. Shopping for a new one, NOT LG nor Kenmore LG. Nope. Never again. They basically robbed us. LG should be ashamed of producing such a poor product. Obviously they are inept or crooks. Beautiful on the outside but rotten on the inside. Shame. Shame...on them.

It kept our food cold and fresh and rarely broke down. It also stored a numerous amount of food items. The freezer section also had a lot of storage space and made things freeze very quickly. It also made ice very quickly. I do not recall the exact size but we had more than enough space for everything we needed. We also has an egg rack to store each egg individually which I liked very much. The color was a basic white with a wood handle which size wise fit nicely into our kitchen. The color was clean and modern looking for our kitchen which pleased me very much. It was a great value for the money due to the more than ample storage space, the efficiency, and the clean and modern design. It was easy to clean and rarely need repair service.

The Kenmore refrigerator is very elegant. Its size has attracted a lot of attention. On the outside, it looks very small. However, its design is expandable for more products inside. Also, the price for the refrigerator is very convincing and performance is the best. When it comes to energy consumption, it does not consume much and is put into suspension mode when everything is refrigerated. It is perfect to buy it.

We purchased a new refrigerator from Sears not quite 4 yrs ago and weve had three service calls, today will be our FOURTH. It has gone from not freezing to freezing too much in the freezer, to not cooling in the fridge part. It is my belief that when a customer has that many problems with an appliance it should be considered a big lemon and should be replaced. I am 65 yrs old and never in my wildest dreams have I ever encountered so many problems. It has been a BIG headache from day one. I would not recommend Kenmore or Sears to anyone.

It was very interesting and it caught my eye and it was a very affordable price to pay and I thought it was perfect for my household. It has different colors, has spill trays and fits almost anywhere. Theres also mini fridges and ice and water dispenser. It’s tall, stainless-steel, had a lot of space and a perfect fit. It helps with easy tasks and its very easy to clean which is the most amazing thing that I likes from it. But a thing I would change would probably be a bigger freezer perhaps.

Only the noise it makes inside of it and the width inside of freezer is too small and the inside of refrigerator is narrow. Otherwise its okay. It is very narrow to me and it is not that deep and somewhat short. Has poor storage space and its not good for large items. Youd have to remove shelves for it to be workable. Its a beautiful black and the handles are nice. The outside of it is very perfect and it looks like it is made nicely. I like how it has wheels for easy moving. It definitely fit my pocketbook plus. Due to others I got a few discounts on it which made me very happy. I would buy it again if I need one and or had the money to do so.

I have owned 2 Kenmore refrigerators. I have never had any major problems with either of them. The Kenmore name is well respected and I can testify to that being true. At one time Kenmore appliances were only sold in Sears stores, but nowadays, you are able to find these products in most appliance stores. That proves that Kenmore has made great strides in their refrigerators, as well as their other appliances. I would strongly recommend a Kenmore refrigerator to anyone. They stand up to little kids constantly opening and closing the doors, sometimes with great strength!!!

My experience was very satisfactory. We priced around at many stores, including Best Buy, Silver City, Appliance City, etc. The price of this refrigerator was better than the other stores. The refrigerator was almond color and matched well with my kitchen. It was of ample size and was easy to place large items like pizzas, turkeys, etc. It also kept the foods at proper temps and lasted many years without needing repair. I would most likely purchase stainless steel and Kenmore in the future. I would like this for all of my appliances.

We had the Kenmore refrigerator for 7 years. It worked really great and never had any issues with it. The only reason we went with a different one was because we remodeled the kitchen. A family member got the Kenmore and still runs wonderfully. Would recommend this brand to people.

I bought a new Kenmore fridge April 2015 that cost approx. $1600 (before tax), and in December 2018 it stopped working with no warning. I noticed freezer began to defrost and the fridge was not cooling. I called Sears repair and it took them 2 weeks to come out. They came today and the tech said it was the compressor and that it will be $980 to fix and there is really only a 70% chance that it will be fixed... It will never be the same and probably not worth fixing. Needless to say I am so upset, we lost all our food. It’s only been 3 years since I bought Kenmore fridge, I shouldnt be having this problem AT ALL!!! It shouldnt cost me anything. I got the same out of warranty spiel and customer service wasnt helpful at all. When I told him I shouldnt be having this problem at 3 years, he said, “Well that depends on HOW YOU HAVE BEEN USING IT...” I am near tears, I am so frustrated... I am going to throw a beautiful new fridge in the garbage. I cant believe this is happening to me. I had to buy a $100 fridge from Craigslist just to have food in the house for my kids. Kenmore isnt standing behind their products...what is being done??? I read all of the complaints here and I am SHOCKED there are so many people with the same compressor issues... Obviously at this point there should be a recall!

I have had my Kenmore refrigerator for more than 20 years. I like it and it is dependable. When we first got it, the ice bucket kept breaking in the freezer part for the ice maker. After several replacements under maintenance agreement, it has finally held up.

I like its water and ice dispenser, and that its large and roomy. I also liked the compartment for milk as well as large compartments on the doors. However, the water dispenser kept breaking and had to be fixed. I also thought that the freezer space was weird and not big enough that many foods did not fit well. I was surprised at how cramped the freezer was so that did not meet my expectations for a Kenmore. However, I would purchase one again. Kenmore makes durable and reliable refrigerators. It was a great price, and free delivery and removal of the old one.

I dont have any complaint about this refrigerators. It always work for me. It always at the desire temperature and I am always able to keep my food fresh. It is big enough to put all my food in the refrigerator and it just perfect for my household. It the perfect fit for my household and I have no complaint about it. The color is perfect fit for my kitchen, and the size just great. It the best fit for my kitchen, and I dont think I could find one that a better fit. It a great value and it just the perfect refrigerator for my house. No other refrigerator can be a better value for me because this is a perfect fit.

We purchased a Kenmore Elite 795 Model refrigerator from Sears, $2500, in July of 2016. In May 2018 it stopped working. Repeated calls to customer service over a month and still no help with anyone to come take a look at it. My problem is not unique from reading the reviews. What I do want to ask is, does anyone know or is involved with any class action suits against Sears or Kenmore for the problems we are having?

The refrigerator is reliable, expendable, and trendy. Right now the features I love because it’s a big improvement since my last refrigerator, and I can’t complain about the space. I have more space for food and dont have to depend on a whole freezer to store extra food. Also, with the extra space, it keeps my food fresh and cool instead of spoiling quicker than other refrigerators because of the lack of space. It’s also slim fit and tight storage which also keeps your food and beverages fresh over time. I love that the water is purified and I don’t have to buy a whole water filter system because with a system you have to replace every three months which can cost more money over time. When you can just buy a refrigerator with natural water filtration system and contain less contaminants than any tap water or water bottle brand you can find in the market or any stores out right now. The water is ph7 and up which means it’s no contaminants in the water and I don’t have to buy any filter and also my ice is already clean and purified because of the brand-new updated features. I was close to choosing Whirlpool but I chose Kenmore because of the reputation and how their customers was very pleased and happy to share their experiences with the brand free of choice. And in my opinion, Kenmore is similar to an smart refrigerators because of the up-to-date technology and have open USBs. It’s child and spill-proof because it stops upcoming spills from happening and protects other shelves from getting messy if it was to happened because previous refrigerators don’t have that security. If an spill happened everything gets wet, so I like the safety and precaution needs of the consumer.

This refrigerator performs very well. The temperature is always as cold as it should be, dont need to defrost, ice maker is great. I would highly recommend it to anyone. This refrigerator is the perfect size, at least it is for me. It has lots of storage room in both the refrigerator and the freezer. There are lots of shelves which can be adjusted to whatever suits your needs. I love the appearance of this refrigerator. Its black, which matches everything else in my kitchen. I really love it. Its probably the best refrigerator Ive ever owned. The value is great. It wasnt very expensive to begin with. It doesnt use much energy, so it isnt eating up your electric bill like some refrigerators might. I am very glad that I bought it.

The refrigerator keeps food real cold and easy to clean. It not hard to move to clean behind of it. The price is inexpensive for this type of refrigerator. The size was enough to put everything in it. I needed for a small family. The freezer part was a enough for the frozen items. I kept small size frozen items in it. The overall appearance is fine. It easily wipes clean. No harsh chemicals needed to clean it. Just a damage cloth really. Im not sure what I paid for it but it was within my budget. Overall good value for the money.

I purchased my Kenmore Elite (Whirlpool) brand new in 2006. Two weeks ago, the refrigerator became hot and stopped cooling. I called Sears out to check the refrigerator and I was told the evaporator was gone and it would cost approximately $698.00 to repair. I was shocked and dismayed because I have not had the refrigerator a long time and that is a lot of money to pay for repairs. I called a retired a service repairman to look at it as well and I was told the walls were leaking and I need to try and contact Whirlpool or cut my loss and purchase a new one. I am very upset and really think my refrigerator should be replaced by Whirlpool. All of my appliances in my home are Whirlpool and this has certainly placed a reluctance to purchase anything by Whirlpool in the future. I would like to know if this can be resolved.

Refrigerator has a noisy compressor, I like the LED lights, its very brightly lit and well organized. Door opens a little too fast but probably needs adjusting. I went with simplicity in that usually comes with the fewest problems. Replacement filters are reasonable too and very easy to replace, unlike my last Samsung fridge.

Im able to adjust the temperature so food is always fresh. Lots of storage space. Adjustable shelves make storing easy. Its not difficult to clean even with kids touching it a lot. Lower on my refrigerator budget. All around enjoyable. I am happy with the size of the refrigerator. It does not take up much space in my kitchen. The multiple storage containers within the refrigerator is convenient. The refrigerator is sleek and stainless steel. It matches my other appliances and have gotten many compliments. It has really completed my kitchen. The refrigerator has so far lived up to my expectations. I have had no issues with it this far and enjoy it. To me it was worth the cost.

It does what you hope for from a refrigerator. I have yet to require any service for it. Maintains the temperature on both the freezer and fridge side with no typical fluctuations or opening to be surprised by suddenly freezer burnt items. A very reliable appliance. Fits in any standard space in I would assume most kitchens. No difficulty in installing and no need to compensate for its size in order to install. Was easily maneuvered with a dolly and I was able to do the entire install on my own. My model is black and I prefer that overall as it doesnt throw off most if not all kitchens decor for those who enjoy a flow to their rooms. I find that black melds well with even the most diverse of kitchen designs and cabinetry. As Ive said before this model is incredibly affordable and does all the basic things you need it to do. Reliable and smoothly built, this is a treat. Well rounded item by all definitions.

This refrigerator was good quality, it was reliable. Would of enjoyed one of the stainless steel models with the sleeker look and more modern design, but this fridge was fine. It was easy to keep clean even though its white. Also, it was a good size for my family (myself, husband, and one child). There was plenty of room and extra for everything we need. I tend to cool a few big meals on Sunday to last a few days and need to store it in large tupperware or pots and that can take up a lot of room but I had it with this fridge. We had it for years with no problems and I didnt feel like this fridge option was overpriced. I like this brand and its a trusted name so I felt comfortable with what we were purchasing. I would recommend this fridge and this brand.
