Purchased Kenmore Elite refrigerator Model 795.71033.10 in May 2013 and had problems with the water/ice dispenser (it stuck and water or ice continued to flow with the cup/glass removed) within one month. Had several service calls and parts replacement over the next 6 months; was given a new refrigerator in March 2014 because of the lengthy delay in receiving the new part (for the 2nd time). In less than one year, the same problem re-surfaced with the new fridge (same model). In addition to the flawed dispenser system, I have had multiple issues with scheduling/rescheduling repair appointments. I will not purchase another Kenmore Elite/LG again.

Loved the design. The water and ice component made life easy. Definitely would recommend this product to others. I was able to fit enough food for a family of 4. During the holidays, the turkey and ham was able to fit with a gallon of milk and leftovers. It was very sleek design. Modern and can fit in any kitchen and home. The stainless steel is a great design. The two side-by-side doors come in handy. It is an expensive refrigerator but it is competitive and worth the money. Stands high above other refrigerators. Great value for what you get.

I absolutely love Kenmore. Their products are amazing! I especially love the refrigerator. It works amazing and everything about it is just perfect. I just love how its stainless steel. It has the double doors on top and the bottom drawer. Im in love with the water and ice machine. It has so much space its awesome.

It leaks frequently. It doesnt keep a consistent temperature in the fridge. The freezer seems to be fine, but it still seems sketchy. Its not too big, but its not horribly small. Its an okay refrigerator.

The performance of my Kenmore refrig is really good. It produces the right amount of ice and keeps all my food cold when I need to reheat it and eat it. The size of my fridge is really good. The appearance of my Kenmore refrig is decent. It has a shiny outside that does shine quality overall. It somewhat does attract fingerprints but its fine since it looks really good. Although the fridge is really big, it costs on the high end of fridges. I bought another fridge before and it was cheaper. For the price and luxury, I think its fine but overall, I think it costs too much.

It still works great. Wonderful fridge. Just want to update. I have had a lot of use for mine and Im putting it in my basement in the rec room. Its a great size fridge. Has plenty of room in it. Holds a lot. And it will be great size for our rec room for all the snacks and drinks. Its still in great shape and looks like new. Its been very well taken care of. Had people wanting to buy it from me after I get a new one. But Im not selling it. Its worth every penny spent on it. Great freezer and fridge. Looks great. Stays very cold and I love Kenmore products. Ill continue to buy Kenmore.

Good performing refrigerator. Very happy with it. Good ice maker as well. Fits needs very well, good capacity. All items have their own space. Dont have to stack items on top of each other. I have the black version. Highly recommended value-wise. Wont break the bank but not el cheap either. Hold all my foods nicely so overall a great deal.

This refrigerator has premium space efficiently at a great price point. Every product has a place, making it rare to lose food due to it being out of sight. The temperature stayed consistent throughout use, and power surges had no effect. Great product! The size is a little bit on the bigger side for me, small kitchens arent optimal for this product. In a bigger kitchen there would have been no negativity from me. This refrigerator is classy! Very simplistic at first glance, not ostentatious. Appearance is basic but reaches out to a specific customer. After browsing and comparing many refrigerators, the value of this specific product is amazing. The space to price ratio makes this a quality purchase.

I have always trusted Kenmore and was able to purchase at a reasonable price. My family wanted a standard fridge without a bunch of extra features and were able to find one at a reasonable price. I believe it was under 400 dollars.

I was so excited to get my Brand New refrigerator with cool outer snack door. However, my excitement was short lived. Not only was the unit small on the inside. But the snack door would not stay closed unless pushed hard. But the water drips constantly from the ice maker and water dispenser gets stuck and continues to flow water even after you remove your cup. That was just week 1. Now it has stopped making ice or freezing now. I opened the back of the unit to clean it and found the coils were packed with Styrofoam. They were NEVER removed by the installers. I paid $2500 for a Kenmore... Come to find out KENMORE IS A FACADE... REAL MAKER IS LG. Needless to say Kenmore brand is dead. It is no longer a quality name. For a fridge to last less than 3 years is a sign. This is not the first review I see where Kenmore lasted 2 years or less. BUYERS BEWARE!

The refrigerator was given to us by my mother-in-law who had it in her home for at least 2 years. She moved out of her home and it still worked fine so we replaced our refrigerator which was newer and already on its way out. That Kenmore was a very dependable refrigerator that gave us 12 more years of service w/o needing any repairs. When we finally purchase a new refrigerator it was for the purpose of replacing a very scratched up Kenmore (dogs/kids inflicted damage) but amazingly enough it was still working so we donated it and we would not be surprised if it is still giving the new owners good service today. Would purchase another without hesitation.

We bought a Kenmore to go in our new home. Its a white fridge with a freezer on the top. It has an ice maker which we have never had a problem with. I love this fridge. Its very roomy and has spill proof shelves. Its so easy to clean and keep organized. There are 3 drawers on the inside. One I use for small packages of stuff (cheese, pepperoni, lunch meat, etc.) and the other two are used for veggies & fruits. The drawers on the door are wide so they fit multiple items. The drawers on the door are also adjustable so if you have a taller bottle, you can move the shelf up to accommodate it. Love this fridge! Zero problems with it!!

Works well and is quiet in noise nature. Keeps items the right temperature and is never too cold or too warm. Good lighting for those midnight snacks too. Fits perfectly in a standard size space made for fridge. Spacious interior and doesnt look bulky or out of place. Perfect size for our household. It looks simple and classic. Honestly nothing special. It looks like a standard fridge but that is enough for me. Very satisfied with it overall and wouldnt change anything. I was happy with the value because the price was reasonable and seemed low compared to similar products and it works well and gets the job done. No problems at all.

Amazing! Multiple customization option, made with stainless steel to insulate amazingly. Not to mention the fact that it is extremely stylish. Amazing size, fits into my kitchen with room to spare. For such a small fridge it holds so much! It has dedicated sections for fruits, etc. It looks like it is straight out of the future. With its sleek design and multi-door design. A little bit over priced, but if you have the extra money go for it! It has everything you need and would want from a fridge. It also goes on sale sometimes.

We purchased a Kenmore side-by-side refrigerator with the ice maker and water dispenser in the door and freezer on bottom in 2006. Within less than a year, we had to have the ice maker fixed. A year after that, we had the same problem--we had to pay for it then. After spending $2200+ for the refrigerator, you should not have to buy an extended warranty. The water filter for the refrigerator costs $50 and I was told the ice maker wont work unless its been replaced. Now the whole thing may have burned up had my husband not been home. The light had not been turning off after the door closed (we had never changed the original bulbs), which caused the plastic around the lights to melt an bubbled the plastic on the refrigerator above it.

Lasted less than a year! Called last September, ice maker stopped working, freezer had ice and frost all over food, and appointment scheduled in October, parts ordered, never heard back. I called back, was told parts on back order, would be delivered within 21 working days. Called back in November, was told parts from Korea weren’t coming in, my case was “escalated” and I someone would call me in 2-3 days. I called back a week later and was told the same thing, 2-3 days. In December I called and was told I had been approved for replacement but no amount was entered in my file, I would be contacted in 2-3 days with amount, then I could select a replacement on ** and schedule the exchange. January and February I called back, was told the same thing, and still nobody ever called me back. The last time I was told to call the nearest Sears Hometown store to see if I could go there and pick out a replacement. This store is in Georgia, I live in Florida, about 20 miles away. That manager called Sears for me who said I needed to go to the Orlando store, over 3 hours from me, because Hometown stores were not authorized to handle replacements! Every time I have called since then, Sears transfers me to customer solutions dept who says there is still no amount, but that I was approved on Dec 1, 2020 for replacement. I was told PABA Dept needs to give me an amount. The amount I paid was $1499 plus tax and delivery. When they transfer me to that department, they hang up on me. Meanwhile my refrigerator is getting worse, food is spoiling in refrigerator, melting in freezer, Sears doesn’t care!!!

I thoroughly liked this black fridge from start to finish. This fridge was extremely quiet and I was sad to move and leave it behind. I wish I could have taken it to our new house but instead, we left it for the next family to enjoy. But I would add more space on the inside with the location of the shelving unit - as well as change up what colors are abolished. The color wasnt my favorite choice but it works for a refrigerator. Kenmore definitely met my initial expectations. I will buy again and tell others to buy as well.

Today came home to a new refrigerator not working! Lost food in both the freezer and refrigerator. Called Sears/Kenmore, told it would take a WEEK before a tech could come out! They put in an emergency order and am waiting. Incredibly disappointed as I bought the entire Kenmore Pro series for my brand new kitchen!!

We bought a Kenmore refrigerator from Sears in April of 2015 and in the last few weeks it started having a problem with cooling. We called a Kenmore appliance repair 800 number and a repair person came out within 3 days. They checked it, cleaned the coils and charged us $294. The refrigerator did not improve and in fact stopped cooling at all. We called the Kenmore repair number again and this time it took them at least 10 days to come back and when they finally returned we were told that the compressor was out and that it would cost $941 to repair. That is absolutely unacceptable for an expensive refrigerator to be 4 years old and stop working when the average life expectancy should be between 14 to 17 years. This speaks volumes about the poor quality of this product. I think that Kenmore should be embarrassed to have a product that doesnt even come close to living up to the standard that it claims. As a consumer, I have no respect for a company that only thinks of themselves with no concern for the hard earned dollars that are required to purchase their product. Consumers! Save yourself the hassle and money and purchase a different brand.

Only the noise it makes inside of it and the width inside of freezer is too small and the inside of refrigerator is narrow. Otherwise its okay. It is very narrow to me and it is not that deep and somewhat short. Has poor storage space and its not good for large items. Youd have to remove shelves for it to be workable. Its a beautiful black and the handles are nice. The outside of it is very perfect and it looks like it is made nicely. I like how it has wheels for easy moving. It definitely fit my pocketbook plus. Due to others I got a few discounts on it which made me very happy. I would buy it again if I need one and or had the money to do so.

The ice maker on this fridge, or I should say the water going into it and it dumping the ice along with some other item that runs very noisily, this is the loudest noisiest fridge we have ever purchased. We have had many Kenmore refers. The noise on our newest one is awful to say the least and the ice dispenser can jam up and you have to dump it all out and clean it up and dry it before you can put it back so it will work properly. Three times since April this year. Very disappointed with this Kenmore product. We still have our old fridge and are very close to putting it back in the house and giving this one away.

I have a 2015 Sears Kenmore Elite fridge made by LG. The compressor has been gone for over 3 weeks. Sears came out to repair it but they did not have the part. Finally the part came today and the repair is suppose to take place on Monday. Sears tells me I must pay the labor. Is that true? Secondly, I loved this refrigerator so much that I bought one for our FL home. It was built in 2018 and bought in February of 2019. Are there still compressor issues with the newer models? Thirdly, my husband has tried to register for the class action suit and has had very little luck getting through the red tape. HELP!

The Kenmore refrigerator has been one of the most amazing things I have ever bought. It is just as good now as it was the day I bought it. It keep everything nice and cold. Its very quiet sounding. I have four children and two adults in the home which means we have the need for a lot of things to be on hand and in the refrigerator at all times and this size works well for us. Its not one of the fancy looking new models but it fits right in with all of our other appliances in our home. I enjoy the looks it provides on the kitchen. This product have reached to the star for its value. It was a great price and has paid for its self over and over. It is a wonderful product and has saved me tons.

No problems at all, it keeps everything at the right temperature. The dispenser works fine. No jamming at all, ice cubes come out just right. Freezer keeps everything frozen just right. I love the Kenmore products. The size of the refrigerator is just right with plenty of room to store all of your food supplies without worrying that you wont have enough room to put them. You couldnt ask for a better product. Fits perfect in my space of the old fridge. The outside of the fridge has a beautiful silver texture, which is easy to clean just by wiping with a damp cloth. This is the most easy cleaning fridge I ever owned. The value of this product is well worth what I paid for it. I have no regrets in purchasing this item. I would say that Kenmore has really outdone itself.

We have a large family so splurged and spent worth of $3,000 for a new Kenmore Elite Refrigerator (model 795.72092.310). It was the largest fridge offered by Kenmore at the time. The interior is made entirely of plastic and has been cracking and breaking since almost new. I just spent over $100 for new door shelves - after patching and repairing the old ones for a year. The bottom shelf is cracked in half and the crisper drawers will no longer close without a fight. The sliding shelf in the freezer pops off the track all of the time - just enough to hold the door open but not enough to trip the DOOR OPEN alarm. We regularly get up in the AM to a melted freezer of food that has set just slightly open all night. I am looking for the original receipt but the fridge was purchased on my Sears credit card so purchase date should not be in dispute.

Just keep it clean inside and out, especially the back and bottom and you will have many years of problem free use. Its low maintenance. You will get your moneys worth with Kenmore appliances. The refrigerator has easy to adjust shelf space, large size drawers for produce, lunch meats, etc. It has great storage inside doors and plenty of freezer for anything needed. Im very happy with amount of space and ease of use.Kenmore has many colors and finishes to choose from, making it easy to fit your style. I love that you can either get a textured finish or a smooth one depending on needs and preferences. Price is comparable with other brands of the styles desired and the value is great as you simply pay the affordable cost and then enjoy the use of this great product for many years without worries.

Kenmore is my favorite brand. The design is spectacular and the appearance is unique. In addition, it has a perfect size. My food and drinks are well located for its size. It has different types of freezers and a great variety to choose from. I recommend it to my friends and my family. I love Kenmore.

Kenmore has been the only brand I have used on any major appliance and it has always proved to be reliable, dependable and worth every penny I spend on the purchase. Kenmore is/has been the only brand I have ever considered purchasing. Their refrigerator seems to work better than other refrigerators. It keeps things cold. However the plastic drawers do not seem to stay on track real good when loaded. There needs to be some way to make them more sturdy to where they fit on the tracks and stay on them better. Other than that, it serves our purpose

My Kenmore was an excellent refrigerator and provided me with many years of good service. I never had to call upon a service repairman at all for any kind of issue or problem. I used this refrigerator for well over 12 years before moving to my current location where one was already provided for my use. Upon selling my previous duplex, I included the Kenmore as part of the deal. That was over 6 years ago and the family who purchased it is still using it today. They love it as they have continued to use it and have also had no problems with it either. That is nearly 20 years with no problems! What else could anyone ask for or expect in a quality appliance? For these reasons, I highly recommend Kenmore refrigerators as an excellent choice when one is looking for just the right refrigerator appliance... Not only are they functional, attractive, and highly durable, but they also meet the needs of diverse family sizes and needs.

I had this unit before having children, so I had to upgrade. The fridge served us well up to that point... Never an ounce of problems with it. I just needed double doors and more space so I bought a new one. Got a great deal on this refrigerator! It was quite inexpensive but it served all our purposes. It was bright white and easy to keep clean. I loved the color cause it matched our other appliances. The unit provided my husband & I with plenty of space... Veggies & fruits in drawers and room for big watermelons on shelf. Kenmore is a great brand & our second refrigerator is also a Kenmore... Were very happy with it, too.

It was over 15 years ago when I had a Kenmore refrigerator but it met my expectations. It was good, reliable and easy. It was also quality at a reasonable price and the store was a good location; Kenmore is sold by Sears at that time.

It keeps my groceries fresh for weeks and Ive never had a problem with it. There is also a water dispenser which makes it extremely easy to get water and ice cubes whenever I need them. I have never had to call a handyman for repairs. I am a hundred percent satisfied with my refrigerator.

I bought Kenmore refrigerator in July 2018, then the compressor was down in January 2021. Searss technician told me that Kenmore will charge me over $800 for repairing with compressor replacement, and customer service even more pissed me off!!! Different representative are saying all different story!!!! I paid $1700 brand new Kenmore Refrigerator but works only 2 years, then will pay another $800 labor cost to repair and extended warranty only 6 month... Pls remember dont buy Kenmore Refrigerator, the quality is sucks, and customer service is sucks even much more.

I cannot express how dissatisfied I am with my Kenmore refrigerator and Kenmore as a company. At 13 months the control board and door seals needed to be replaced. At 15 months insulation parts had to be replaced. At 17 months drain lines had to be replaced as well as door seals again! I emailed Kenmore 4 times and NEVER got a response. This is the French door refrigerator with the extra drawer in the center. I bought it because of the Kenmore name and the large cubic footage (28+). This will be the last Kenmore product I ever buy!

It has some issues with the ice maker - but overall satisfied. It is a side by side - and I do like that and it runs quite well. Also, some of the shelves in the freezer are pulling out of the wall.

It was very interesting and it caught my eye and it was a very affordable price to pay and I thought it was perfect for my household. It has different colors, has spill trays and fits almost anywhere. Theres also mini fridges and ice and water dispenser. It’s tall, stainless-steel, had a lot of space and a perfect fit. It helps with easy tasks and its very easy to clean which is the most amazing thing that I likes from it. But a thing I would change would probably be a bigger freezer perhaps.

While the company can claim this is only cosmetic, I paid $2666.44 for this refrigerator and the brown spots are increasing weekly. I deserve a product that will last.We have purchased Kenmore products in the past with great results. I will NEVER EVER purchase another Kenmore product or buy from Sears again. This refrigerator is junk and shame on Sears for thinking the consumer should have to settle for the problems we are having. I am adding a copy of my receipt so I will be a Verified Buyer. I really liked the ice and water dispense feature. The fridge always stayed at the proper temperature. The fridge was never loud. I liked the stainless steel finish that was pretty smudge resistant and fit very well into my kitchen decor. The fridge was pretty spacious. The shelves could be removed and replaced to my needs and specifications. The fridge fits perfectly into the nook it was intended for under my shelves. I liked the look of the water and ice dispenser. It was big enough for most glasses, but the over feature was more recessed and discreet. Not too gaudy and shiny. After careful research, the Kenmore fridge seemed to be the best value for the money I wanted to spend. It had the size and features I wanted without breaking the bank.

It was pretty good. They used to make great stuff but they got cheap later on. Now I dont like the brand as much anymore. I will probably buy another brand. I like a fridge that is easy to put everything into. Companies are cheap. The bars on the door break easy. Racks are hard to adjust and they are cheap. It was fine to look at. But companies make cheap crap products anymore and wonder why we dont like them. Cheap crap is stupid. Make good quality stuff please! The stuff made these days is junk shipped from China and you want people to think there is quality? That is just stupid. Get over it and realize it is junk!

The inside of the fridge part runs very well, but after a year the water/ice dispenser ceased to work, and you have to be careful with the freezer as if you put too much in the top shelf, it will leak water everywhere and cause a minor flood. The size of my fridge is fairly good! I can usually fit a months worth of groceries in at the same time with no problem. The freezer side, not so great. I really have to pack it in there. Sleek and sophisticated, fits in pretty much any kitchen. Doesnt require too much cleaning to keep up appearance and what cleaning it does require is easy. I pretty much got what I paid for. I could get the dispenser fixed, Im sure, but for the price I paid for this refrigerator (it was on sale), I got an awesome deal.

Sleek. Both freezer and fridge are very spacious. Keeps the inside at a cool 38 degrees at all times. I can fit all of my needed items inside the fridge and freezer with more room to spare and I have a lot of stuff inside of both the fridge and freezer. Plus the ice making machine is in the freezer but I still find that I have more than enough room. Its stainless steel on the outside which is so shiny you can see your reflection. It is super easy to clean. The ice and water maker match beautifully with a black finish. There is also a night light on the water maker. It will match any kitchen with the beautiful stainless steel. It was on the pricier side but is well worth it. It looks like I paid a million dollars but in reality I got it for a steal in terms of how it has benefited my household.

Our refrigerator is 12 years old. It has never let us down never needed repairs. Definitely a good investment. If we need replacement parts they are happy to help. I would definitely buy this brand again and again.

13 months after purchasing this expensive refrigerator and 1 month after the warranty ran out, the entire computer circuitry has to be replaced. Oh, and the ice maker has yet to work correctly. So, Sears answer? Buy a $279 warranty and well come out on February 10, 2014 to fix your refrigerator. If it costs more than $500 to fix, I have to pay the difference. Unbelievable!

Wonderful performance. I love it. Great experience. Would recommend it to friends and family. It was good and a beautiful refrigerator and kept things cold and the frozen foods frozen. Great size was able to have plenty of room and could separate things because of all the room. Had a great experience with it. Stainless steel looked sleek and elegant. Was easy to keep clean and everyone just raved about how beautiful it looked and wanted to get one for themselves. Great value for everything that you get both with looks and space and performance. I am very satisfied and would buy another one. Great.

We purchased four Kenmore applications 3 years ago… to my disappointment the refrigerator stopped working and I did not get an extended warranty. I thought if I was investing my hard earned money on a name like Kenmore it would last longer than that. But to my amazement even when I’m paying to have it fixed I have to wait 1 weeks to get it fixed. We took time off to get it fixed just to get a call at 4:00 that he’s not coming. Now we have to wait another 8 days before they come. I do not recommend anyone to purchase Kenmore appliances. We are not happy nor are we satisfied with their service or products.

I purchased a top-of-the-line Kenmore refrigerator in February 2013. On May 26, 2013, after being away for a couple of days, I came home to water on the floor and my refrigerator not working. An error message came up on the display. When I called Kenmore, they told me they couldnt have a repairman out for a couple of days. I lost hundreds of dollars of food. The repairman showed up last night and said it needed over $500 in parts and it would take 10 days to get them. He told us we should buy their extended warranty because he gets a lot of complaints about these new refrigerators that have a lot of electronics. They want over $700 for a four-year warranty. I think I got a lemon and deeply regret buying it. Why would I want to pay $4,000 for a refrigerator that breaks down spoiling all my food and a tremendous inconvenience and then be asked to spend another $700 to make sure the refrigerator works for at least 4 years?! Sears needs to go bankrupt. It is the last thing I will buy from them!

Sears, led by Eddie Lampert, steals your money and gives you when the runaround when their refrigerator fails in less than 3 years multiple times. They buy their garbage from LG (LITERALLY GARBAGE) that is made so poorly that Russian manufacturers laugh in mocking hysteria at how unreliable yet expensive these refrigerators are.You will lose thousands of dollars in tossed away food because the refrigerator fails again and again and again and again. Mind you, you paid nearly $4000 for the privilege of owning utter trash. If the local Sears wasn’t all camerad up, I’d drop this stainless steel turd in front of their store. These refrigerators are absolutely 100% designed to fail. No engineer would want his/her name attached to such a failure.

I had a Kenmore refrigerator many years ago that outlasted itself by many years. My family and I loved it. When it came time to be replaced, there were no models at that time that would fit in the assigned space since I had my kitchen remodeled.

It was an innovative fridge that works great and keeps my food cold and fresh. It is stylish and looks great with my kitchen decor. Its stainless steel and is a side by side with a feature where I can control the temperature.

The refrigerator is a good at keeping stuff in the freezer good for a long time. The bottom part works well, keeps food good and refresh and at the right temperature that it is set to. Overall it has a good size freezer and the bottom part is a real good size fridge that you can put a lot of items in. We are able to store a months worth of food in it. The appearance of this fridge is good looking. Plus it has a lot room to store stuff in it and it will match any kind of kitchen color you have. You get a value out of this refrigerator for the price that you have to pay for it. Plus it runs well and does a good job of keeping your food good and cold.

Purchased the Kenmore Elite French Door with the Grab-N-Go door in August 2014. Since the price of the extended warranty was about $900 we did not purchase it. At the 18 month (July 2016) point the cooling coils in the refrigerator portion we developing extensive icing and it was actually pushing the bottom drawer outward. Sears couldnt get anyone out for 5 days so we called a local appliance repair person. They came twice but we unable to make any repair but show me a part that they thought might be causing the problem. Sears overnighted me the part and I was able to install it. It did seem to initially fix the problem but now (October 2017) about 15 months later, I again have the same problem. I have ordered the part again, the controller assembly which apparently should control the defrosting of this coil. Not sure if these parts are poorly made (LG) or that something else is a problem. These refrigerators are not repair friendly.

The performance of this refrigerator is outstanding. Its the best fridge out there, in my opinion. I really recommend you to get this. Just make sure you get the right one! The size of my refrigerator is crazy. There is so much storage. The size blew me away the first time I saw it. Just be careful now it looks a lot bigger than it shows in its picture, so dont be fooled thinking its small. The appearance of my refrigerator is great! Its so shiny you can see your own reflection. The perceived value is outstanding. The price is just right and the overall quality is 100%. This is my opinion by the way so dont go off what I say about the value, I hope I had great advice.

In July and September my refrigerator was repaired because it wasnt maintaining proper temperatures. Right now (6 Nov) I cannot get the freezer to get below 10 degrees. It is so painful to take everything out of the refrigerator.

It was a great fridge. Having the bottom freezer drawer was the best feature. It wasnt a ton of room, but access was easy and very convenient. The price is okay, if a little high, but they run sales during the holidays sometimes. Would buy again. Not the greatest amount of room in the freezer. There was more space in the fridge section to make up for it. Ice in the freezer bottom was convenient and roomy. The look was totally a selling point. The finish resisted a lot of fingerprints, and helped the fridge look neat. It was easy to keep clean. I liked the look. The fridge was a little on the high side (we didnt purchase during a sale). I would say it was worth it if you get to keep it for long enough. The price could come down a little. Would like to see it lower.

I have a two year old Kenmore Elite refrigerator, model 79574023410, a bottom freezer with top French Doors made by LG (Im told). This was delivered in October 2014. It has failed twice and Sears does not feel this is unusual. The first failure occurred in July 2015. An error code and a warm refrigerator got me a new motherboard installed still under warranty. This was a common problem with this model, I was told.On September 27, 2016, the ice started melting through the ice maker on the door and both fridge and freezer stopped cooling. The $99 Sears diagnosis on September 30th was a failed motherboard. Not under warranty, though it happens a lot with this model (corrected in newer models Ive been told) they will fix for $370. My complaint to Sears regarding this cost went nowhere. They only suggested I buy a warranty for $500 a year to cover these types of issues. I declined.A private company ($140 to come and diagnose) found the board to be OK, but the compressor was bad. I had been told that the sealed system (apparently includes compressor) was covered for 5 years. Called Sears to return (now October 10th, 2 weeks without the fridge) to repair. New Sears tech finds compressor and fan motor is bad. Replacement is $480 including free compressor covered by warranty (part only) and another $99 to have Sears back out.Multiple calls get me nowhere. Some call center folks are sympathetic, others not. All can do nothing for me except offer the $500 warranty to cover service. No one is able to tell me the terms of my warranty. Im often told the technician is the one who can tell me and is also able to adjust costs. The technician who is still there as Im on the phone shakes his head when I pass this info along.There is nothing they will do for you except offer for you to pay an additional $500 a year to protect against malfunction of this lemon refrigerator. Half of the call center workers agreed that a refrigerator should be able to last more than a year without needing major repair. One commented that I could not predict the future and could not know whether or not this is a bad appliance. I disagreed. You can even pay more on your warranty so they will cover the food you lose when it breaks again! They think of everything. I have been told of many problems with this model of refrigerator. Sears will not be held accountable for selling a shoddy product. I cannot recommend purchasing appliances from Sears.

I really love my refrigerator from Kenmore because of their selection and pricing. Also Ive never had any problems with it and I like the styles of the refrigerators come in the colors and styles are convenient and the compartments the way they are built are great.

I purchased a Kenmore 111.7121 and it died within 24 hours of receipt. Called Kenmore. They informed me they could have a tech out on Saturday (4 days w/o a refrigerator) and for some reason they think that is acceptable... They dont have a food spoilage policy which is very poor due to the amount of poor products they are producing. It is very sad, everyone is still hoping and praying Kenmore name returns back to their original great products from the past.

I love my refrigerator. It is big enough just for what I need and it is clean and simple looking, keeps my stuff fresh and crisp for a long time and my freezer cold for a long time. It has not crapped out on me yet and hopefully wont. I just wish they had different colors. I havent seen a black one yet in my model. But I am pleased with the model that I have and would not change it unless it stops working.

Ive had my Kenmore refrigerator for five years and have never had one issue with it. It freezes fast. The refrigerator section keeps food both cold and fresh. There is plenty of shelves that can be adjusted to store several different size containers. I would definitely recommend buying a Kenmore refrigerator for your next fridge! I have plenty of room in the refrigerator with the many shelves it comes with that are adjustable to make storing gallon size to small pickle jars easy and convenient. The freezer has ample room as well for all my frozen foods. When I bought my Kenmore refrigerator I had gotten it on sale, however even if it had not been on sale the cost of a Kenmore refrigerator is not more expensive than any other brand, however it lasts a lot longer than others so you are getting an extraordinary deal.

Very good performance - no issues throughout my usage. Refrigerator (and all other appliances) were left when I sold the house. Refrigerator is very expensive. There is some value to it, but there needs to be more value in terms of discounts and losing of the percentages that make for bigger discounts. Meaning I would like 50% off instead of 25% off of the value. The appearance has a good design and color. But from the outside it looks like a rundown appliance that needs work. But when you get to use it, it works really well and has the features and benefits that any appliance should have. My food is kept cold and fresh for when I need to eat it again. I have enough capacity to put my food inside. It holds everything with enough durability that the shelves will not break. The size also is convenient for bottles and big items that need to be kept fresh.

We bought a Kenmore Refrigerator Model #25360082412 in April 2016 that went dead in July first week. We called Sears as it was covered by a Master Service Agreement for which we had a hefty fee. It took them two weeks to come and inspect. The technician acted friendly, blamed Sears products (“very poor quality”) and also said that the compressor has gone bad. He also said that in such cases, fridges should be replaced with a new one whereas Sears is pressurizing them to get it fixed. He said he has to order the parts and not sure when the parts would come. When contacted Sears, the reply was that they need to send another technician to confirm what is wrong. Another technician came yesterday and the same scenario all over. It takes awfully long time to get hold of a person to get an answer and the person we were able to get connected said this morning that the first technician had written in his comments that we had refused the repair work. Only after three failures Sears would replace the fridge and that has not happened in our case according to him. We are waiting for the parts to come and have an appointment in ten days to get it installed, assuming the compressor arrives by then. The service by Sears is extremely bad. When you call, you get someone in Philippines who have no knowledge or understanding of appliance breakdowns and mere note takers. In a nutshell, we still have no fridge after six weeks.

Bought my fridge 2.5 years ago. The cooling element for the fridge had stopped working but the freezer is still operating. Sears repairman had to order new part 2 weeks before he can come back out to replace the part which was delivered 5 days after his service call. 2 weeks without a refrigerator because Sears does not have enough repairmen.

We purchased all of our appliances from Sears including the side by side refrigerator with bottom freezer (Kenmore Elite - 795). Last week we started hearing a fan noise. Turns out the inside of the refrig is building ice. The tech said this is an issue with this model. They will need to replace the control board and we get to defrost the refrigerator 24 hours prior to them coming back (BS) which by the way isnt for two weeks. If you pay $3,000 for a refrig it should work properly. We are tempted to have them just come and pick it up.

I bought a Kenmore Elite refrigerator in 2015. By 2018, it was no longer cooling properly. The product was still under warranty, so I called Sears to schedule a repair. The earliest they could send a technician out was 8 weeks. It was summer, and I have 3 little kids to feed, so after a week of living out of a spare mini fridge in my garage, I called several other repairmen. No one would touch it. They all said that Kenmore is really made by LG and they are known to have major issues. One tech said he doesnt work on LGs because its not worth my time - it will break again and I will have to be out here every few months. Sure enough, when Sears finally did get to fix it (replaced the compressor) it broke down the following year. A different tech boosted the Freon in the line and said these refrigerators are known to have leaks in the line. As I write this, my fridge is not working again and I am dreading my call to Sears - their customer service is terrible. My 5 year old refrigerator is worthless. Long story short: I used to trust Kenmore products. Never again. Do not buy!

It was a great fridge. It had all the features I needed. It was the biggest and best refrigerator I ever owned. You really should buy one. Youll love it. It was beautiful, lovely, attractive, good looking, matched my kitchen. Best value for the money. Especially given that I didnt pay a cent for it. It was a gift.

I purchased a small Kenmore chest freezer. After about a year, I received a notice that the freezer used more electricity than advertised, so a rebate was available. Just yesterday I discovered that, though the green power light was on, the freezer had stopped working and the contents were a fetid mess. I lost hundreds of $$$ in meat, primarily, and lost hours of time cleaning up the mess and determining how to dispose of the contents of the freezer and the freezer itself. Just a total rip-off. Dont waste your money and time.

I bought Sears Kenmore Elite refrigerator 795.77563600 in 10/2006. It has always had problems with the ice maker, but Ive learned to live with it. Today, however, I opened the fridge at lunch time and noticed the smell of burning plastic. The lights had stayed on and melted the plastic light cover. The plastic was dripping down onto food! I tested the door switches to confirm that the doors werent simply left ajar: 1) Open doors: Fridge beeps and lights on; 2) Open doors + press switch: Fridge stops beeping and lights on; 3) Close doors: Fridge stops beeping (and presumably lights still on). I am happy I caught this during the day! I shudder to think what would have happened if this occurred at night. Kenmore/LG should recall these fridges before they cause a house fire!

I couldnt be more pleased with my refrigerator. The ice machine keeps up very well and it has never gave me a minutes trouble. It produces very clean water with its filter system! It is very roomy for my family of five! It holds a lot of meat in the freezer and still has plenty of room for ice cream and popsicles. The refrigerator part holds milk tea and the crisper is very roomy and we still have room for canned drinks and leftovers. I love the looks of it and how it makes our kitchen shine! So many people has came to our house and complimented on how good it looks. When we brought it in the first day you could tell a difference right away. It was so worth the money I paid for it. Also the water filters are easy to change and the price is reasonable on them too.

Hello, it is sad that you pay over 3,200 for a refrigerator and it dies four years later. Had two service guys come out and looked at the refrigerator told me would be over a thousand to fix it. So sad... I loved my refrigerator. Hope to keep it for more than over 10 years. But to die less than four and to pay 3200 and the company just say, Sorry, you should of taken out an extended warranty. It was the evaporator assembly and compressor. I will never buy a Kenmore anything anymore. Plus I will never buy a high dollar refrigerator again. Breaks my heart that I have this nice refrigerator that will not keep food but looks great! What to do with it now???

Every 6 months the vent in the refrigerator freezes up and sometimes burns out the fan and every 4 months ice maker forms ice around it and must be thawed or replaced. Very poor design! Requires service 3-4 times per year. Sears service is abysmal and warranty covered only 1 repair out of 12 and technicians do not know what they are doing and take 1 month to come. Do not buy Kenmore!!!

My refrigerator has retained our food in a reliable way. Even with our frequent power outages, our refrigerator retains it consistent temperature. We love the side by side refrigerator with the built in water dispenser. The stainless steel finish is easy to maintain and stands up to our daily wear and tear. The size of our refrigerator has always been large enough to maintain our family of four needs. The side by side doors make it easy to reach our food and the large bottom doors keep our vegetables fresh and our deli meats and cheese fresh. Kenmore products have always been reliable and offered at a reasonable cost. We were lucky enough to find our refrigerator on sale at the time we were shopping for it.

I purchased a Sears Kenmore refrigerator 3 1/2 years ago for almost $3000. I didnt buy the extended warranty because in my mind I spent enough money and I thought Kenmore was a reputable product. The refrigerator that it replaced was a Kenmore and it was already 15 years old and never had one single problem. It is now in the garage. In October of this year, the new one stopped cooling. We had a service guy come out and he said it was a sealed compartment issue and I needed to have a Sears technician come out. I googled it and found that there was some success with unplugging it and waiting 4 hours, then plugging it back in. I did this and it did work, for about a month. I called Sears when it stopped working again and explained I knew it was not functioning properly because the first thing that happens is that it stops making ice. I told them that I had an independent repair guy come out and he said it was a sealed system problem. This is covered for 5 years under the manufacturers warranty. The lady I talked to said it wasnt and that I needed to buy the only warranty they offered which was a one year warranty for $300. They sent a guy out. He diagnosed a problem that wasnt covered under the manufacturers warranty but would be covered under the $300 warranty that I just purchased. It took over a week to have him back out to fix it (yes they dont come with the parts on their truck) and replaced the defective part and said if it doesnt work by the end of the day to call back. It didnt work. They sent out the same guy a week after that and he said it now was the sealed system and would be covered under the original warranty. He told us we should call and cancel the extended warranty. We waited well over a week for another guy to fix it and it took him 4-5 hours but it is working. He said we should call and cancel the extended warranty. I called and they will not refund me the $300 because the 1st repairman came out and replaced a part that wasnt under the original warranty. I explained that it also wasnt the problem. It didnt matter. I will never shop at Sears again and will share my story as often as I can.

There was a sale going on at the same time we needed a fridge and Kenmore was a name we recognized. Its just the one that we saw that looked like the right fit for our family, and this refrigerator hasnt let us down yet. Sometimes the door on our refrigerator doesnt seal closed the way that it should, though this has never lead to any problems. But this could probably be improved. But other than that, I like how well the Kenmore Refrigerator works, most of all. It also has the perfect amount of storage for our needs.

It never gave us a lick of trouble, the 8 years we had it. We got for a house warming gift, the seals were all tight up to the day we gave it to some less fortunate friends of ours. From the freeze to veg. and lunch meat trays did their job, the best aspect of the whole thing was the elec. bill never went sky high. We loved it, we went out and bought a side by side with water and ice dispenser. The freezer, cold storage for meats, veggies, and butter, and everyday grocery, racks were plenty spacious for a family of two, then came the little one. We had no problem with all the formula and all that comes with having a baby, plus plenty of room for my beer.The color was eggshell white, nice texture, easy to clean even with smokers in the house. It fit right in with the cupboards, style and got a lot of compliments on it, who would of thought a ref. Even though we got IT FOR HOUSE warming gift, I would see our model or close to it that it would be very affordable for our budget, we had just bought a new vehicle, so if we had to buy we could of, it was very reasonable.

This refrigerator runs fantastic, I love it!! And its so quiet, which is a huge plus, considering how loud some refrigerators can be. Theres also the fact that it is quite large on the inside, as opposed to some brands which look much larger on the outside than they actually are on the inside.

It has a lot of room to store just about anything on its shelves, in the freezer as well as the refrigerator. My Kenmore refrigerator is a side by side, and has a steel finish that is so easy to keep clean. There is a water and ice machine on the outside of the freezer section, making it accessible for a healthy glass of cold water. This Kenmore side by side refrigerator is well worth the amount I paid for it, and I have not needed repairs since I bought 10 years ago. To me, the Kenmore brand is synonymous with quality.

My wife and I bought a Kenmore model number 106.51762510 COLDSPOT. We paid approx. $1000.00 for this model. Just before the 1 year warranty expired, one month to be exact. The refrigerator began freezing up and freezing everything in the crisper. Just a thick wall of ice. I got a service scheduled and a repair man accessed the problem and ordered over $1100.00 in parts. That was more than we paid for the unit. Well, parts began to arrive slowly over a weeks time and a different service man showed up to work on it. Well he fixed it, and it worked great for 1 year. Now it has the same problem. But before he left, he handed me a thermistor and said, here you go if it ever happens again, change this out, which was a nice gesture, but it made me wonder how much quality was in the parts he serviced.So here I set thawing out my unit to change this part (5-16-20). I hope it will fix it, because weve called every appliance dealers we knew of, and it would take over a week to get one in, and during this COVID-19 outbreak, they will just deliver to your door and will not being it into your house. So with a wife thats getting foot surgery this week, and a shoulder surgery in the near future, Im screwed. I have no one to help. My mother and father bought a Kenmore chest freezer in 1964, and are still using it today. But as for me, no more Kenmores and maybe no Whirlpools either. Since it was made by them. All the parts that showed up said Whirlpool on the box. Enuff...

I have a double-door Kenmore refrigerator, which is very good. Nice cooling system with good defrost. It has enough space for storage of items. It has adjustable shelvings. High energy saving, efficient, appearance. It has adjustable storage.

I just love this refrigerator. The shelves are adjustable, the freezer at the bottom is very convenient and has extra tray for ice cubes. I can adjust the shelves as needed to fit all of the items I need in the refrigerator. The vegetable bins are large and roomy. Tall items fit well in the door shelves. Flat items store well also. The freezer has ample room for flat frozen items, I dont have to put in my large freezer. The refrigerator is easy to clean. It has a non stick coating that makes stains and fingerprints wipe off easily. Great for families with little ones with sticky fingers. At first look I thought the cost was too much. But as I researched, I found the value of this refrigerator well worth the cost. This is our second refrigerator. We gave the other one to a sister and she still has it. It holds its value really well.

I had an issue with my bottom freezer Kenmore refrigerator this week that I bought 15 months ago. Control panel showing Er rF error and water dispense, ice dispense and refrigerator was not working. Only Deep freeze was working. Freezer was making big sound sometimes. I called Kenmore from Warranty page. She set-up appointment to come out tech guy after a week on their available basis. I asked her if that will cost me anything? She said no unless there is part that do not cover by factory warranty and if I do not agree to replace the uncovered part, it cost nothing to me. She said that after tech guy look at the refrigerator he will give me cost that include part and labor.So, that evening I also discovered that refrigerator also not working and food went waste. Then I called local tech from the Web that was picked up by SEARS guy. After I gave my phone #, he found that I have schedule to check refrigerator week later. Then he started telling me the prices that involved the tech guy coming to my house. I told him about the conversation I had with last rep. He claimed that she was lying and they will take action on that. I was so confused. The 1 year, 5 years and 10 years factory warranty that was written in manual that I tried to explain to him, he just denied and speaking behalf of Kenmore company. The price he quoted me same as Steven below. That is $79, just for the tech guy coming to my house, $278 for 1 year extended warranty but first visit I have to pay $60 extra to the tech guy and if the refrigerator is not fixable, they will give me credit of $500 towards my next new purchase of SEARS credit. This was a totally different kind of conversation than I was told by the previous rep. He was trying hard to take the offer at that time. But, I just told him, I am confused and I will call you back once I figured out what to do. Then I called back after an hour at 1-800-469-4663 (the # from Manual) to accept the offer since I have to have working refrigerator. Rep found that the appointment next week that was scheduled by 1st rep. I asked her to move the schedule a little earlier since freeze was not working. Luckily, she found next day appointment. I again asked her if that cost me anything. She said no unless there is a part that needs to be replaced that is not covered by your Factory Warranty. Sweet, I just did not ask anything. Next day tech guy came and take a look my refrigerator with no cost. I did not have to change any parts. He fixed it and freeze is working. I did not pay a penny. So, good. In fact, SEARS is manipulating to charge money to consumer. Do not call the SEARS, call the phone # from manual. In manual it also listed as SEARS too thought. Since I had this experience with SEARS, I am not going to purchase anything from SEARS. SEARS trying to rip my money. I would suggest everyone to call 1-800-469-4663 rather then SEARS. Hope this will help everyone. If your refrigerator is less than 5 years old and you have not purchase extended warranty from SEARS, at least tech guy come to your house free. DO NOT TRUST SEARS. I have all my appliances are Kenmore brand and bought from SEARS, but I am not going there again. Their cheap way to do business is not acceptable.

I have a bottom freezer with an ice maker. I absolutely love it. The ice maker doesnt make huge ice and with the fact I love chewing ice, it makes it perfect. Plus I was able to connect it to my water purifier so I never get hard water in my ice even though we have well water. Another thing I love is the double door refrigerator. It makes it so easy to organize and clean. The only real problem I have found is defrosting the freezer. When you do, it is such a mess.

Purchased Kenmore Elite 795.74015.412 refrigerator in Aug 2018. Installed and used for the first time in Sept 2018. It stopped working in Oct 2019. A $2000 refrigerator lasted only 13 months! The compressor needed to be replaced. The part was still under warranty but not the cost of labor. That portion of the warranty expired only a few weeks earlier. Sears charged me $470 for the labor! I have since found out that the 795 part of the model number indicates that the refrigerator was made by LG. LG had a class-action lawsuit brought against them a few years ago because so many of their compressors were failing in such a short period of time. I dont understand why Sears chooses to sell appliances that they know will fail. Please, please, please stay away from this product.

Purchased a Kenmore Elite Fridge Side by Side, with Ice Maker attached to door. Ice Maker broke in 2 years and cant be fixed apparently the wiring broke from opening and closing the doors. This should have been a recall product, drawers falling apart. Consumers really need to research. We finally broke down and purchased a new refrigerator after 15 years and this happens.

I purchased this Kenmore from Costco online. It was delivered on May 24, 2021. After a couple of weeks of use I noticed the freezer was icing over and the seals to the freezer and refrigerator kept coming loose. I contacted Costco concierge service and they sent a Kenmore repairman. The Kenmore repairman noticed the seals coming loose without me saying anything and then he noticed the seam around freezer had been siliconed. The Kenmore repairman advised me to return the refrigerator and get a refund. Sears, Kenmore, or Costco wants to take responsibility for this fraud. I have never had a more frustration experience, dont buy anything from these people.

Has always been a trusted appliance. Never had an issue. My parents have always used this brand and it was recommended that I get one as well. Looking forward to the next generation of fridges from them. The freezer could be bigger in the model I have. There is never enough room for everything for the month. Shelves could be made more sturdy too. Overall has always performed well, just the design inside needs to be better. I have a traditional white model, looking forward to updating to a stainless steel one. I have seen they also have ones with computer chips in them, I am guess Frigidaire has them too. They are getting a bit pricey these days, that I have noticed. Would be nice if they offered a trade in option for existing fridges to help cut down on the cost.

Refrigerator section of 16 month old Elite refrigerator quit working. Found out the evaporator had frozen up and cold air would not circulate to cool refrigerator section. Called tech out to repair and he mentioned that the refrigerator was programmed on the original control board to circulate air when in defrost mode. This causes the evaporator to eventually freeze up and block air movement and also freeze up the fan that circulates the air. When this happened, it caused the control board to malfunction also. Needless to say, had to replace control board to updated version and also replace panel and fan unit, $800.00 repair! Kenmore/LG knows about this programming fault but didnt offer to pay to fix it! BEWARE!!

Plenty of shelf room. Nice size freezer. Very good with energy. It is very quite running nice. Large door shelfs, place to put your eggs. Vegetables on the bottom to put all your produce in a meat holder to hold your and keep it fresher longer. Very large to me. I put sandwich meat, all the condiments that I use. I have room to put a whole turkey in it, a gallon of milk, a gallon of tea, still have room for a whole lot more and yes I can fit everything in it I buy. My refrigerator is white and it matches my walls but white goes good with everything. It is easy to clean. No scratches on it. It still looks new since the day I bought. Like they say you pay for what you get and it was a great value. It doesnt break down. It pays for itself in the long run. It was worth the money I paid and I am very happy with my purchase.

We have had our Kenmore Elite refrigerator for 3 years and it has totally quit working. The internal compressor has failed which is more than 1000 to repair. Waste of money!!! Not going to own another Kenmore ever.

Keeps food cold without freezing. Freezer works perfectly. Ice and water dispenser work nicely. Absolutely love the finish. Awesome machine. This refrigerator has quite a lot of space. Enough space to fit food and condiments for a large family. The ice capacity is sufficient for a family gathering. The finish is nice and does not mark. Easy to keep clean and maintain a nice finish. The shine is fabulous. Fits nicely with my other products. The price of this refrigerator compared to others Ive seen is comparable and the performance you receive is exceptional. Most people would be quite happy with this product.
