Excellent performance. The refrigerator perform very well, it doesnt make any noisy sound and runs smoothly. Consumes less energy and keeps food well. The size of refrigerator is Very well designed and meets my size requirements. The refrigerator fitted well in my kitchen in allocated space. I bought white refrigerator to match with my kitchen wall color and I am happy with its color and appearance. The color looks good in my kitchen and it has provided quite authentic look to my kitchen. Depending upon features and overall performance of the refrigerator, I am satisfied with the price I paid for the refrigerator. Its an energy saver and saves quite on my monthly energy bills.

I love my Kenmore refrigerator. The food stays fresher longer and the freezer is the best part - anyone who has kids or grandkids and loves to make jello or freezer pops this is a must have. I love it. My freezer room is amazing you can fit about anything in it. I love to freeze green beans in the summer to eat in the winter. My freezer has enough room for me to do that. I love the way it looks. It could fit perfect into any space and has lots of room for pictures on the front and the handles are easy to open and easy to close for me and my grandkids. I have severe arthritis and I have no problem opening and closing it. I think you actually get more bang for your buck with this amazing fridge and freezer and the room is amazing and you have an easy clean freezer and refrigerator. How many women want that? I do and the room I love it.

I can actually fit all my produce, fruit and vegetables. Two watermelons and six cases of soda and water bottles, along with my eggs and dairy. My fridge is perfect in size inside and out. Its shiny and glossy and looks marvelous in my kitchen. It actually sits out of everything in my kitchen. Lol. I live in an old house so you can tell the difference. Kenmore allows you to get your money worth when you purchase their products. It lasts for years without repair or replacing. Just keep it clean and you are good to go.

First of all Kenmore does not produce anything. They just put their name on other products like Whirlpool and LG, Korean appliances. I made a terrible mistake buying Kenmore Elite refrigerator. Nothing but trouble from the start. Kenmore Elite is a horrible product. This product looks great esthetically, but is overengineered, which creates unnecessary troubles as a result. Cost a fortune to diagnose and fix. Better off buying another fridge. And after speaking to the number of technicians, discovered that the best reliable refrigerators are made by GE, Maytag. Worst are LG, Kenmore, Samsung.

I really like Kenmore. We have had our refrigerator for over 10 years and it has not given us any trouble. But, because it is getting old it is starting to leak a little. So it might be about time to start looking into purchasing another refrigerator and I think we might purchase another Kenmore.

When I had this refrigerator it worked great. It did not freeze things in the refrigeration part of the fridge and kept them at the perfect cold temperature. The refrigerator was alright when it comes to size. I prefer to have a bigger fridge but it was all that I was able to afford at the time. The refrigerators appearance was fairly standard. It was white with the freezer on the top and the refrigeration on the bottom. It matched the kitchen paint well; which is why white is a good color to go with. For the amount that I paid for the refrigerator it was well worth the money. It was definitely not the most expensive model but for its size and cost it was better than the other available options.

This product works as advertised. It keeps the frozen and refrigerated food at the correct temperature. It is dependable and has required no repair work. This is a good product that I believe will have a long life. This refrigerator will hold a lot of frozen and refrigerated food. It is an ideal size for an individual or a small family. As a single person the size is ideal for me. The refrigerator looks nice to have in an apartment or small home. Having the freezer on top and the refrigerator on the bottom looks nice. Other people have told me that they prefer this design as much as I do. I believe that this is a high-quality product that sells at a reasonable price. The many years that I have owned this and similar Coldspot refrigerators proves to me that this product is an excellent value.

They never gave me any problems. Never understood some specifications but didnt really need to. Flawless. I would recommend this to everyone. The size could have been better. Some things dont fit inside the freezer area. Otherwise it is an excellent decision. Slick and incredible. Fits perfectly with the kitchen. It was improbable for me to find something bad about the entire look. Simplistic and useful. Great Buy. VALUE is eccentric. It is incredible how good this Refrigerator - it is one of the best products I have purchased in the last 10 years.

The freezer works very well - foods and ice cream doesnt thaw. The vegetable drawers keep fresh fruits and vegetables fresh for a week or longer. I like the size. My household size is small, and we do not require as much space as a larger family would need. This size might not work well for a larger household. I like the color - its neutral enough to fit into the decor of my kitchen if I decide to redecorate or repaint the room. Ive repainted the room twice since purchasing the refrigerator, and I havent needed to take the color of the appliance into consideration when choosing new colors. The refrigerator has worked well over the eleven years Ive owned it. It hasnt needed any repairs as of now. I feel Ive received a quality product at a reasonable price.

The entire unit has plenty of space for your needs of a family, Id say up to 7 people. The refrigerator and freezer space is large enough to hold whatever it is you need. The freezer has never iced up in 13 years, which makes me thrilled. If I had to replace my unit, I would certainly consider another made by Kenmore as I HAVE NOT had any trouble with this one AT ALL. It is a great piece of equipment, just like Kenmores other equipment. You can not go wrong buying a KENMORE!!!! The size of the refrigerator is almost too big for my family of 3. I have a white refrigerator and is very easy to take care of when something gets on it. With having an upper door for the freezer and a lower door for the refrigerator, this makes it easily accessible to get to the item you need. The refrigerator and freezer has the ability to switch which way the door opens, so whatever way your kitchen needs the unit to fit it will accommodate. Nice. Everything, nowadays, is very expensive. However, like the saying goes You get what you pay for and with refrigerators/freezers you need a HIGH QUALITY one. Kenmore is known and lives up to its name so as you may pay a little more you are getting a much higher quality for your money. Its worth it. Having my refrigerator for 13 years and it is still running like day 1 says a lot to me. Money is tight and I am not having to run out and buy a new one for any reason. Bottom line - Kenmore is a great value for your money.

Very happy of its design. It fit our kitchen space very well. The freezer was the winner. We used to store lots of food. It was problem free until we moved. We used it for 5 years. It fits your familys needs. I am very happy with the freezer space and the door space. Holds lots of bottles which is easily accessible. Lovely. Stylish, fits my kitchen deco very well. Since we have all appliances in black and silver it fit in very well. It was not reachable for my hopping toddler, which made things hassle free. We bought it for around 1200 dollars and do not regret it. We got a good resale price when we moved since it was in good condition. Its a bit pricey but completely worth it. I would recommend it over other brands any day.

Kenmore refrigerator is a good brand with an excellent and reliable reputation. It is also energy efficient and has fair pricing. Additionally, it has adjustable shelving, water dispenser, and ice cube maker. The black style finish makes a nice appearance. However, it should replace plastic drawers with glass, more usable space in the freezer, and better finish on refrigerator since its hard to clean in certain areas.

It was okay. However I have had better. The customer service was subpar. I called once and I was on the line for two hours. The refrigerator itself only broke down once. But it was very difficult to get itself since the customer service was not the best.

I purchased a top-of-the-line Kenmore refrigerator in February 2013. On May 26, 2013, after being away for a couple of days, I came home to water on the floor and my refrigerator not working. An error message came up on the display. When I called Kenmore, they told me they couldnt have a repairman out for a couple of days. I lost hundreds of dollars of food. The repairman showed up last night and said it needed over $500 in parts and it would take 10 days to get them. He told us we should buy their extended warranty because he gets a lot of complaints about these new refrigerators that have a lot of electronics. They want over $700 for a four-year warranty. I think I got a lemon and deeply regret buying it. Why would I want to pay $4,000 for a refrigerator that breaks down spoiling all my food and a tremendous inconvenience and then be asked to spend another $700 to make sure the refrigerator works for at least 4 years?! Sears needs to go bankrupt. It is the last thing I will buy from them!

Dont buy the Kenmore Elite series side-by-side refrigerator/freezer. I bought this product and have had several problems with it prior to the warranty expiration. The freezer bins keep cracking. The refrigerator temp could not be controlled, it was freezing all of the food. The doors did not seal properly. The latest incident is that the refrigerator and freezer are no longer cooling. We have tried to get an emergency repair appointment and were told that we would have to wait 12 days because there were no appointments available until that date. Meanwhile, all my food, about $500 worth has spoiled and the only compensation that was offered was $160 for reimbursement for a small refrigerator.

Never had any problems with my Kenmore refrigerator. It always kept food cold and was easy to clean. Did not give 5 stars because mine was a side by side fridge which I wish I have more room in the fridge section.

Fridge did the job that it was supposed to do. Our food was kept cold until we wanted to use it, many times for a week. All of our drinks were kept very cold. We had no leakage from under the fridge which was the main problem with our old one. This fridge blends in well with the decor of our kitchen. We also have a small freezer on the top which keeps everything frozen forever. Neither the fridge or freezer need to be cleaned out very often. I just like my fridge.

It did the job of keeping the food cold. I liked the design of it. It also has lots of space. The fridge has plenty of adjustability and it has that modern look to it. Its huge. Has plenty of drawers. And the little slots on the side of the door are reasonable. Its a pretty tall fridge itself and it also has an special feature. Has that touch screen pad on the front where you can get ice and water. Also you can adjust the temperature on the pad too. Its worth the cost. You get whats need and you get that pricey look. Plus its black and shiny so its well worth it.

I used this refrigerator for well over 12 years before moving to my current location where one was already provided for my use. They love it as they have continued to use it and have also had no problems with it either. That is nearly 20 years with no problems! What else could anyone ask for or expect in a quality appliance? For these reasons, I highly recommend Kenmore refrigerators as an excellent choice when one is looking for just the right refrigerator appliance... Not only are they functional, attractive, and highly durable, but they also meet the needs of diverse family sizes and needs.

It does what I need it to do. Big and spacious, fits all the food for my family needs. At times, it is hard to find space in the freezer due to the width of the freezer. It has plenty of room for everything. It keeps the shelf organized. Has storage space for deli cheese, fruits and vegetable. It is spacious enough for me to quickly find the things I want. It is easy to clean, and fingerprints are very easy to wipe off with a little soap and water will do the job just fine. The exterior match my kitchen decor. The price can be a little expensive without all the bells and whistles, but overall it is not a bad investment. Mine does its job just fine with the money I paid for.

It was a great fridge. Kept up on making ice even when it was so hot and humid outside. Always kept beer or soda cold and not just cold but just the right coldness. Kept our fruit and veggie good for a long time. It seemed longer than our old fridge one did. We are a big family of 6 with 3 boys one girl so we would do most of the shopping one time a month besides odds and ends and it would hold 400-500 of meat and everything else as well. It was a basic look fridge with the freezer on top, the ice box on bottom. It looked good next to our white walls. We got it from my mother when we first moved out to the state we live in. We had it for 3 years and then when we moved we updated to a bigger one and sold that one for 100 bucks.

Every 6 months the vent in the refrigerator freezes up and sometimes burns out the fan and every 4 months ice maker forms ice around it and must be thawed or replaced. Very poor design! Requires service 3-4 times per year. Sears service is abysmal and warranty covered only 1 repair out of 12 and technicians do not know what they are doing and take 1 month to come. Do not buy Kenmore!!!

I have been a Kenmore brand customer for decades. Purchased a Kenmore Elite refrigerator 5 years ago and it died last week. Called Sears and was told the earliest appointment they had available was two weeks in the future. They provided the name and number for another repair company who might be available sooner. When I called that company, they wanted to charge me nearly $300 for a service call. I promptly hung up the phone on that rip off artist. I called Sears back to ask how much they charge for a service call and was told $99. I could not believe that Sears would provide a referral to such a company. I finally found a local company who for $89 plus an extra emergency fee of $45 came out the next day to diagnose the problem. Turns out the compressor died. While the fridge no longer has a store warranty, the compressor has a 10 year manufacturer’s warranty. So I call Sears to order a new compressor. I am told that they cannot work off of a diagnosis provided by another company so I am back to a two week wait for one of their technicians at a cost of $99 for the service call, to come out and tell me what another company already has. Then after that the part has to be ordered and the repair scheduled. Plus I have to pay for labor charges to have the new compressor installed, which I am sure will come to hundreds of dollars. While I am tempted to purchase a new fridge I decided against it. If the new compressor lasts 1-2 years it allows me to defer the price tag of a new refrigerator for at least 12 months. This piece of crap ran nearly $3k with delivery and install. We were told by the repair guy to stay away from Kenmore, LG, Samsung and Frigidaire because they are all a bunch of crap with a lot of issues. Apparently these brands just stick their names on products manufactured by other companies. Needless to say I will never purchase another Kenmore appliance or the other brands noted by the repair technician.

I purchased a Kenmore for several reasons. It is a brand that has great name recognition. I was looking for a smaller width refrigerator and the Kenmore line had a size I needed and had all the special features I was looking for even though it was a smaller size. The water filter is easy to change because of its location. Glass shelves are important too. They are easy to clean and so much better than the wire shelving. The vegetable drawers are deep and I like the fact that they are clear. The refrigerator is super quiet too. The ice maker really does a good job too. The location of the ice bin on the door is a feature I appreciate. Im able to see the quantity of ice and I can also remove the bin easily if needed! I just really wish they would have several lights in the freezer. For some reason I always manage to block the light with my placement of the frozen items. I also am not happy with the bottom door shelf. I find that the depth is a little too small.

The side by side feature allows me to shop less and store more. I love the shelves easy cleaning system. Everything is organized and easy to find for my children to grab snacks. I bought large cake and it was so easy to store with just a switch of a shelf. Storing items for large parties is very helpful as well with dinner trays and vegetables platters. Its so easy to clean with sleepwalking husbands and messy kids. Just buy some a stainless steel cleaner and wipe it down. Its sleek style looks modern to keep my kitchen looking updated. I purchased it from an outlet store because side panel was damaged from delivery. I got it for a cheaper price than a regular one. I liked the price and the damage wasnt visible and grand total was $999.

I purchased a Kenmore refrigerator and other Kenmore appliances when remodeling my kitchen in 2010. The shelves in the refrigerator door are very thin plastic and Ive had to replace both shelves now. The cost is $48.00 per shelf. I think that it is unacceptable. It is just not well designed. It also takes too long to get the replacement parts. I am not a satisfied customer and the parts customer service person I spoke to only said shed make a note in my file.

I bought brand new appliances from Sears.com in May 2017. The refrigerator broke down already. I called Sears. They sent a repair guy. Ice had formed in the freezer and caused the motor to shut down. He melted the ice with hot water and left... Fridge started making noise. I called back and was advised to wait a few days. The noise stopped came back and the ice formed again. Guy came back. Has to place parts on a 5 mo old refrigerator... Customer service is terrible. I spoke to 5 people. No resolution... They just want to replace parts and not the refrigerator.

For our family this was the perfect fit. Theres easy access in the freezer with the shelves, and the adjustable shelves make storing larger items easy. The refrigerator space is also adjustable and useful for larger milk and other items. Never had any problems with mechanical issues. Very efficient and reliable. The modern but simple design is perfect for an older kitchen that we have. The features are modern, but not overboard which leads to a economic unit that still has the appearance of a much more expensive unit. The contour also fits well into the space that we have and by keeping a simple but glossy white color it helps us to be able to draw attention to the older design of our house and not having your eye drawn to the appliances.

I rent my residence and the refrigerator was free from my utility company in a program they have to lower energy usage. It works really well, keeping everything in the lower compartment nice and cold. However, the seal on the freezer constantly pulls out and the compartment is almost always covered in ice. Theres plenty of room, but, I live alone and dont need that much space for what I buy. But if I had a family I dont think there would be enough room.

The refrigerator has outstanding performance. It keeps everything at a perfect temperature. It works awesome and best of all its quiet! Of course this is going to vary from house to house but for my home it fits perfectly. As far as having enough room inside, its plenty of space. This refrigerator is gorgeous. Just look at it, stainless steel, nice and shiny. I think it looks great. It fits very nicely with my kitchen and other appliances. They might seem a little pricey at first but this thing is totally worth every single penny. I absolutely love it. It also does not use as much energy as my old refrigerator.

We bought a Kenmore refrigerator 3 years ago. About 6 months after we bought it, the light quit working in the refrigerator. Lately, the motor/fan has been very loud and now the refrigerator portion is not cooling and the panel reads EE FF. It is also making popping sounds. I called Sears repair and they were more than happy to send someone out for $95. I havent decided whether I am going to have them out.

I purchased my Kenmore refrigerator model #596.69313010 less than a year ago. I was not happy with how noisy it is. There is very little room in the refrigerator. Last week the door starting rusting and its spreading. Poor quality. Rust isnt covered under my warranty.

My Kenmore refrigerator is 2 years old. The freezer compartment keeps shorting and will defrost and refreeze again. This has been happening for 2 months while I have been waiting for Sears service because they no showed on me 2xs! I finally gave up on them and called a local repair company to come out today. They said the error is on the compressor and it is failing. I need a new compressor and with parts and labor it is close to $1000! He just left another home with the same refrigerator and the same exact problem! Apparently the product only has a 1 YR warranty! What a ripoff! I spent close to $2000 on this and now I have to get a new refrigerator or fix this piece of crap... which isnt guaranteed! Dealing with the Sears service department has been a joke and quite honestly I am at my wits end! Of course they are backed up for months for repairs when all of their products are failing! These Kenmore products apparently are not what they used to be and who is going to protect the consumer who is paying a small fortune for them! They should be recalled immediately! Very bad business.

We have a 5 year old Kenmore refrigerator and twice in the past 4 months the water line thats attached to the fridge has developed a crack lengthwise along the line causing extensive flooding in our house since we werent home either time it happened. Our plumber has ruled out any problem with the connector that connects the line to the external water supply braided hose. The plumber is convinced that Sears received a bad batch of 1/4 lines when they assembled these units.

Bought my Kenmore Elite a little over 5 years ago, loved it until this week, it broke. Compressor went out, $900 to fix! Seems a Very Common problem with these expensive refrigerators! Decided to purchase a different brand. WILL NEVER BUY KENMORE AGAIN!

One refrigerator was on recall, but we knew nothing about it. Even the service man said he was unaware of the recall. It took months to have it repaired. We moved and bought a new refrigerator. Our new fridge had problems with icing up in the bottom freezer. We took care of that problem and now months later it will not keep anything cool in the main part of the fridge. The fridge is 2 years old. Very frustrating. Model number 596 699 52011.

Our Kenmore bottom freezer fridge cost $1700 and the dreaded LG compressor quit cooling in less than 3 years. Purchased Oct. 2017 and quit cooling July 2020. Opened the fridge and water from ice went all over the floor. Fridge and freezer were both way above correct temps. Had to throw out every thing. I noticed the compressor was VERY hot so I unplugged it until a repairman could look at it. Turned it on before he came and 3 hours later he said he could have fried an egg on it. And that it needed a new compressor and was the LG brand made for Kenmore and known to have this compressor problem. Very disappointing as my previous Kenmore fridge lasted 25+ years.

Ive had this refrigerator with ice-maker for over fifteen years and have never had a repair bill on it. I do wish the freezer side was wider, but other than that its been a dream. I would not get a side-by-side again.

To me it is an older but regular refrigerator. I have had it 5 years and it was used when I got it and I have never had a problem with it. I would like a larger freezer section. There is not enough room for all my tv dinners, smart ones, frozen pizzas, ice cream and ice cube trays too. It is all white with the opening bars on the right side. Nothing to complain about for me. If I was buying new I think I would probably go for a colored one - bronze, tan, light blue. Value has been great for me.

Very high quality. Love the water features. That space is impeccable. The only thing I dont like is that the filter needs to be changed for the water dispenser. We’re a householder for 2 adults and 2 children and its wonderful for the little snacks. I love the drawer and the shell station and the fridge, I mean freezer. I always have room. Its very easy to keep clean and wipe down. Spray a little Windex on a paper towel and youre all done. I thought it would retain water spots and it doesn’t, so overall Im very impressed. I like it because the groceries you can order the products you can put in the drawer and have it sent at your own humidity. They last longer and it works wonderful with my fruit.

We bought our brand new Kenmore Elite just 2 years ago and it suddenly stopped working. After waiting 2 weeks for the repairman to show up, he tells us it is the compressor that went. He tells us it is under warranty, however the cost to install will be $380. He says that the actual manufacturer is LG. We thought it was Whirlpool. We would NEVER had gone with LG as our choice. Our refrigerator still looks BRAND NEW, however the repairman says he can’t guarantee the new compressor won’t break again because they are junk products from LG. Don’t buy Kenmore products.

The Kenmore 51783 stood out to me from other fridges because of the features and it has been a great refrigerator for me so far. I have enjoyed my time owning it so far and it does a good job. I have always enjoyed the Kenmore brand in the past and I hope to buy another fridge from Kenmore in the future.

Never had any issues with the temperature control. Numerous drawers inside which keep everything separate between me and my housemates. It is a great size for a small household. Plenty of both fridge and freezer space. Love the amount of door space. Drawers are also spacious. Love the black color. Makes the magnets we collect pop. Its very sleek and easy to clean. It matches the rest of our kitchen decor. We couldnt be happier with it. The cost was very reasonable and has stayed working with no problems and little to no maintenance. It looks like it is worth much more than it costs.

Good cooling system. I would recommend this product to anyone anytime. I had this product for over 8 years. It is very spacious as well. I am loving the new one I got last week. I also have a Kenmore freezer and its working fine, no problem.

I have no problem fitting all sorts of food in there and trusting it will be kept fresh and tasty. The size is very big for holding all various assortment of products that my family enjoy like veggies, juices, and tons of snacks. The amount of food I can cram in there is amazing. I once put 40 lbs of prepped plantains in there and it was wonderful. What a sexy fridge - let me tell you, it simply just gleams, shines, glistens, and beckons me to it. I love the steel like finish and it is always a joys to polish her up. For the price you cant beat cold food and ice cubes. I enjoy ice cube from the fridge. Buying bagged ice is ridiculous and expensive so this fridge is such a joyful savings.

Works very well also very spacious. Have had for over a decade with no issues. Runs extra super quiet and keeps food very cold. It is very spacious and roomy. The freezer has enough room to take advantage of any sale you come across. The frigerated part has enough room to do the same. Coming in either black or white it goes with any decor that you may have. It as well has a number of shelves inside. It as well has a couple crispers. I find good value in the fact that I have had it a number of years problem free. I as well find extreme value in the fact it does have enough room to allow me to take advantage of a good sale.

I purchased a 4 door Kenmore fridge a year ago. I was excited to get it home and begin using it. They offered a 1-year warranty and we declined (Didnt think a $3000.00 fridge would give out in a year). However we were told information on extended warranty would get sent once it was close to our year ending. Well about a month and a half ago, we started to notice that the ice maker wasnt making enough ice. Then noticed the water was not as cold as it usually is. But we brushed this off as using it more than usual. Fast forward to a few days ago, our fridge completely stopped working. I immediately called Sears and was told that our warranty expired 3 days ago. We had mentioned that this seemed to have gone on for some time and just never caught it (Im not a fridge repair person). They said we would have to pay someone to come out and pay for labor and parts. We decided to call a local repair person, and he came out and told us that the computer board in the fridge is damaged and we would be looking at a minimum of $500.00 to replace just that part! So as of now, we arent sure exactly what is wrong it and Sears said they would come out to look at it in October (today is Sep. 9th). This is so frustrating, and we werent able to get any assistance from either company. If the computer part is damaged or broken, isnt that considered a defective part?

Ice cubes arent great but everything else is great. I have plenty of room for everything. I like the feature to choose the shape of ice you want but the crushed isnt too crushed and the other cubes are not big enough. The size is perfect size for a family of 5 and a grocery shopping trip for a months worth of groceries. Side shelves, big drawers. Freezer also has plenty of shelving space on the side and upright. The stainless steel look really is lovely. It has a very sophisticated appearance and contemporary modern for todays trends. It gives off a chic type of vibe and is very noticeable. The pricing is just where it should be for this type of appliance. Not too cheap but also not very expensive. Its very affordable for anyone shopping for a refrigerator.

The Kenmore refrigerator had the features I wanted and was a good price at the time I was looking. It was at a Sears which was convenient and I trusted their brands. The refrigerator was reliable and lasted over 25 years without any problems. It was worth the price I paid.

We purchased the Kenmore Elite Refrigerator, side by side. In less than five years the whole compressor was fried. It was total trash. I have never had such a bad experience with an appliance. I had my previous refrigerator for 20 years.

Keeps food cold, have plenty of shelves, drawers and compartments, does not cost much to run. My electric bill has reduced a little bit. I would recommend this product. The size of the refrigerator is the perfect size for me and my little one, but I also have a 14 cubic foot freezer for stocking up when things I use go on sale. The price was right, crisper drawer works well.The refrigerator looks like a regular refrigerator. The surface is easy to keep clean even with the finger prints left by the toddler. It is easy to move to clean behind so dust doesnt build up. I think it was a good value for the money I paid for it, on sale of course. I try never to pay full price unless absolutely necessary, friend and family days are usually the best time to buy.

I chose Kenmore over other brands because its exclusive to Sears. Sears has always been a company Ive trusted in and Ive owned other Kenmore appliances in the past. They are well made and inexpensive to repair. Also, it worked well and was affordable on my budget. Sears offers layaway which means if I wasnt able to pay the full amount right then, I could pay it in weekly increments. However, its a brand only available from Sears, so I had to go there for replacement parts. It was also very basic, so it made me feel like I was cheap when someone would come over and see that refrigerator in my house and not something more elegant. But the refrigerator did meet my initial expectations for the time I used it. Its great value for the money.

It did the job fine, I got what I needed out of it but it was in my apartment. The space of it was decent enough and I dont have much complaints. Looks-wise, it was also cute. Not huge but works well for 1-2 people. I think that it worked fine for the apartment that I was in but not for a small family. I personally had to upgrade mine to fit the amount of people living in the home. It was not a bad looking refrigerator and I personally would use it again if it was just me. There is nothing wrong with this fridge looks-wise or use-wise. Not a bad value at all, it got me through what I needed it for! I honestly would recommend it to other people who are looking for something pleasing and useful but affordable.

The unit has great features, large drawers and is easy to clean. But I would have liked more door space. I like modern things and I would love to see more technology similar to the Samsung. The modern refrigerators are tech savvy and beautiful. I would also love to see a more sleek refrigerator. I have used Kenmore my entire life and they are a brand I trust. They also have a huge reputation as being a reliable American brand. I trust that the unit will last a long time without repairs.

We purchased a Kenmore side-by-side refrigerator with the ice maker and water dispenser in the door and freezer on bottom in 2006. Within less than a year, we had to have the ice maker fixed. A year after that, we had the same problem--we had to pay for it then. After spending $2200+ for the refrigerator, you should not have to buy an extended warranty. The water filter for the refrigerator costs $50 and I was told the ice maker wont work unless its been replaced. Now the whole thing may have burned up had my husband not been home. The light had not been turning off after the door closed (we had never changed the original bulbs), which caused the plastic around the lights to melt an bubbled the plastic on the refrigerator above it.

Kenmore Elite Refrigerator Model 795 79753 900 - We purchased the refrigerator in 2009 and in the past two years the vertical water line on the back of the refrigerator has developed leaks on three separate times usually pinhole leaks where the serviceman and I have seen each time. The last leak damaged our hardwood floor and sub-floor. The third time the leak developed I called Sears service center only to have them tell me they dont service in Anchorage, Alaska when in fact they do. I suspect that the reason they denied me service was because my protection agreement had expired. This seems to be a recurring problem with the Kenmore refrigerator and Sears is very frustrating to deal with along with the so called elite product line!

It is very roomy, gets very cold, love the ice maker and water filter, I loved the refrigerator. Very nice colors, great performance, low maintenance. Love the adjustable shelves, great freezer space, roomy drawers, fits well in my kitchen, great height, wide and a lot space. Very classy, very stylish, wonderful colors, great wear, great size, accentuates the kitchen and other appliances, nice, beautiful, pretty, durable, solid, appealing.

Large freezer, able to fit several weeks of food, helpful for large families. Indoor ice maker and water, extremely nice feature. City water was filtered without an extra system being installed. And no extra freezer space taken up by trays. Large deep freezer drawers for extra storage. Adjustable containers in door made it easier for more storage in the main fridge. Allowing for bulky items such as milk or pitchers to be stored in the doors. Cleaning was simple, with parts all being removable. Parts dismantled and reassembled easily. Large and bulky making delivery difficult. However, replacement parts were expensive. Also, no color choices other than white were available.

I like how well made it is. It really has great materials and the build quality to match. It has served me wonderfully and I am very glad I chose it. I am surprised it has so much to it given its just a fridge. However, I dont like the size of it, but it is alright because it fits where I need it to. Often times I will have a milk jug too tall, or wasted shelf space due to too much open height. Kenmore really has outdone my expectations. It is a great brand and compared to others it seems better. I chose it based on availability, but Im kind of glad it was what I got after all.

It came with the first home we purchased and at that time, was considered a very good buy. At that time, my income was considerably less than now, and I went from a 2,600 sq foot home to a 9,000 sq foot home. It was a very good, starter unit, that was very reliable and quiet. Inside temperatures were easy to maintain. We were always jamming more and more in it to accommodate my family. However, it was not large enough for my growing family and for entertaining and could not make ice very fast and the freezer section was too small. It is a great unit for a couple or a family with 1 child.

Easy on energy, self maintain, and cools really great. Has a lot of door space and has 3 shelves and 3 drawers that are big and spacious. Ice maker and water hookup is awesome. Refrigerator is wide enough to get just about what you would like to put in it. I love its stainless steel exterior. Its very easy to clean and to keep it clean and to take care for. Very bright and pretty. I would recommend this product to anyone. You get your moneys worth with the side by side refrigerator.

It is great. Have never had issues with it. Filters water very well too. I like the fact that we can change the temp as well so it keeps things nice and fresh. By far the best refrigerator I have ever had. Very spacious and has plenty of room. I especially love the special compartments it has for vegetables, butter, lunch meat. They are so convenient. It has a very modern look which I absolutely love. The silver makes it look very aesthetically pleasing as it can match many things found in a kitchen. I bought Kenmore refrigerator because I am a loyal Sears customer. I never had any problems with Kenmore appliances. If I did buy another brand I wouldnt have the confidence as I have with Kenmore. I am satisfied, with no regrets. Attractive refrigerator, nice compartments, keeps food at the right temperature and does the job. The refrigerator also had a lot of room for all my dairy products. In the past, Kenmore had numerous colors to choose from, but I am also loyal to the white ones.

Our Kenmore side by side fridge is excellent. Plenty of room and the lighting in it is superb! I can see what I need too and everything is laid out very nicely inside. Makes plenty of ice, easy to clean and very easy to change the water filter inside. We probably looked at 10 different refrigerators and as soon as we saw this one, we knew we had to have it.

I got this refrigerator as a present, it replaced my old general electric refrigerator. I love my Kenmore. My electric bill had gone down and I have not had any problems with it. Before I had a smaller refrigerator and was always having to let my daughter keep some of my groceries in her refrigerator for me. It is stainless steel and it matches all of the other appliances I have in my kitchen. I do have a problem keeping the stainless steel shiny. Someone once told me to spray wd40 on it and it would really shine. This refrigerator is very valuable to me. I do not know how much it cost because it was a gift to me. But I really love it and would pay whatever was needed if I needed to replace it.

I have purchased from Sears a $2000 Kenmore Elite Refrigerator 3-door bottom fridge which is 1 year and 2 days old. 2 days after the warranty ran out, we noticed a loud noise coming from the freezer. We noticed a water leak. We have this fridge less than a year because it took over a week to deliver from Sears.When we called to Sears customer service, we were told that warranty is out for 2 days. Warranty goes from the purchase date not from the date when you received. So I wonder do they have a censor that after warranty is out something goes wrong.

No problems at all. We bought it new in 2008. Wed recommend this refrigerator to anyone. It is the french door model with bottom freezer. It also has a water dispenser with filter.

We never had any problems with the performance of the refrigerator. It always kept things at the right temperature. The ice maker worked great with no problems. The shelves were sturdy and easy to clean. It was more than able to fit everything we needed. The freezer looked like it would be small from the outside, but it had plenty of storage space. The fridge was huge and had plenty of shelf and door space. We had the white color refrigerator. It would have looked sleeker in stainless steel. It doesnt look as nice as a side by side freezer/fridge, but its a refrigerator and not a decoration. The utility of the fridge made up for the appearance. The refrigerator was not cheap, but it also wasnt top of the line. I feel it was worth the money we paid for it. We never had to do any repairs or maintenance. If you buy cheaper appliances, you end up paying more in repairs. So this fridge was worth the slightly higher price.

Whenever I put something on my top shelf in the refrigerator, it freeze and cause water on the shelf. I have put paper hefty plates, bowls. Ive tried regular ceramic plates, glass, whatever. It still freezes and causes water. What can I do?

This is a great appliance by a trusted brand. It is the best one I have ever had and never quit at all. It kept all my food at the right temperature and everything tasted great. It was the perfect size. The shelves were just right and I could get everything into it just right. Good looking appliance too. Easy to keep clean and wipes clean very easy with a wet rag. Spills are easy to clean up and anyone would be happy to have this. It was a little expensive but worth it. You have to pay a little more for quality and you get what you pay for. This is a trusted brand and has been for the past 15 years.

All items stay cold and fresh. Freezer food also stays very cold as well. Anyone interested in this product I would even let them take a look at mine. It fits perfectly where I wanted the product. Has an area for all food and separate areas for different items. Have never had an issue when requiring extra food to be stored in refrigerator. Overall appearance is very appealing for my home and have had many compliments on the color and size. I enjoy everything about it. It is completely satisfactory with design, color and size. Compared to other products the price is very reasonable for a product with this much size and room. I would rather pay more for a quality product than one that may break down at some point.

It is the top of a line refrigerator. We never had any issues with its performance. We had problems with other brands in the past but not this product. It has a larger refrigerator size and roomy drawers for your produce. The freezer side could be a bit larger but in general I was very pleased with the size. I love the stainless steel look for my kitchen appliances so I was very happy with the appearance. It rarely showed fingerprints so I didnt have to clean it often. This refrigerator was not the cheapest one we shopped for but I am willing to pay more for a quality product. I was happy with the quality of the product for the price.

A great fridge, that is easy to clean. Never had the freezer become iced over. Only thing I would have done different is to get the fridge with the built in water and ice dispenser. But if you dont need that, then this is the fridge you want. It does everything for our family of four, but sometimes wish the freezer was a little larger to fit larger amounts of beef. But this is why we have a stand alone freezer. We like to buy half sides of beef. I love the stainless steel look of the fridge and how easy it is to clean. I will never buy another fridge that isnt stainless steel. This is the best. Beautiful. Best bang for the buck. Bigly! Best looking fridge with the best features at the best price. Love having a white refrigerator. It brightens the room. Great buy for under $600.00.The large bins are great for storing a lot of different food items. Its so small on the outside but looks can be deceiving. This unit is bigger inside. With a spacious top mount freezer and frost-free. Giving me more time with the family. My unit is a white Kenmore 20 cu. ft. single door top freezer refrigerator. Very simple and efficient food storage. Easy to clean, slide out, glass storage shelves. Large door bins that hold the large gallon containers for more shelf space. A great purchase for under $600.00. With energy efficient rates Saving us in electricity each year by using less energy when compared with like models elsewhere. In real money that is about $55.00 a year. So in 12 years this unit will pay for itself.

Overall, it was a good refrigerator with decent space and storage options, but we had to have it fixed 3 times in 2 years. Also, the freezer was very difficult to open and close. I loved the shelving design because I could easily fit all of the essentials and still have space where it was needed for odds and ends and everything still fit comfortably. It has a very modern appearance, so it fit well in my remodeled kitchen. The only con was that it was difficult to clean and often showed dirt and streak marks on the outside. Overall, considering what I paid for the refrigerator, I feel it was a good value. The appearance and size were both great. It met our needs very well.

Purchased Kenmore Elite refrigerator Model 795.71033.10 in May 2013 and had problems with the water/ice dispenser (it stuck and water or ice continued to flow with the cup/glass removed) within one month. Had several service calls and parts replacement over the next 6 months; was given a new refrigerator in March 2014 because of the lengthy delay in receiving the new part (for the 2nd time). In less than one year, the same problem re-surfaced with the new fridge (same model). In addition to the flawed dispenser system, I have had multiple issues with scheduling/rescheduling repair appointments. I will not purchase another Kenmore Elite/LG again.

I bought a Kenmore refrigerator in 1990 when I got married. Used it every day until it broke. It lasted until 2011. Great refrigerator and bought another one. Hope this one lasts just as long.

My less than 2 year old $3,999 side by side Sears Kenmore refrigerator freezer stopped working. (Needs new compressor.) Sears response “Pay $941.75 to repair it”. Are you kidding me? I’m 61 years old and never had a refrigerator go bad. What a ripoff! Don’t buy anything from Sears! It’s no wonder they are going bankrupt.

Plenty of space for most families. It has very spacious shelving and the layout of all the shelves and their adjustability is really nice. The freezer freezes fast and is plenty spacious with it being a top and bottom unit. Id say its one of the better fridges. It is smaller than a side by side which is always nice and the room that it has inside is incredible. Id definitely recommend this fridge to a friend. This fridge is all sleek and nice. Its looks are like a ordinary top and bottom fridge but its not and thats a huge difference between now days and 2-5 years ago. Its value is decent base on my family and what we can get inside of the freezer and fridge part itself. Its nice and quiet and has a decent energy efficiency rating.

It has lots of room to store your food items inside. The freezer is also large. it also is very energy saving. The built in ice maker is a joy. The size is big enough for your needs. Plenty of shelves to put your food items on. The freezer keeps your frozen food items frozen till youre ready to use them. It is a good looking refrigerator, and the stainless steel color is a delight. Not too large for the kitchen. Not an ugly looking box to have. The value is very affordable, and most other types dont compare to the cost of this one. Others cost more and they are not as good to use.

Kenmore is a great brand. We got one in 1994 and we just recently purchased another. I liked that we very rarely had to have it worked on. We had a top freezer with ice maker and the ice maker only broke once. The parts such as drawers and door shelves were very durable. The refrigerator was easy to clean and was the best one weve ever had.

The Kenmore brand is one I trust more so than others and it has always met our expectations in refrigerators and other types of appliances. It also has better prices. It had ice & water in the door which had filtered water which made it better than using the kitchen sink. But small freezer side, would not do a small side by side. I would make the shelves more easily adjustable and have the temperature easily more adjustable and offer it in more colors.

I googled the largest refrigerator made and pulled up this Kenmore Elite, it is big up top and the bottom freezer has mammoth room! The ice and water in the door are simply perfect and take up a very small amount of room in the door. The drawers in the fridge are spacious, I’m very happy! To clean the entire top and bottom is easy.

Kenmore use to have reliable products. No more. I bought a Kenmore fridge from Bel Air, MD Sears in Jan 2017 but did not buy a policy because Kenmore had a good reputation. After only 12 months and 20 days, it broke down. Repairman said the refrigerant was leaking and required the evaporator, tubing and the compressor replaced. Total cost, $800. Talked to the Sears people in Bel Air, MD and they wouldnt do anything. We will never darken Sears doors or buy Kenmore products anymore.

It does what you hope for from a refrigerator. I have yet to require any service for it. Maintains the temperature on both the freezer and fridge side with no typical fluctuations or opening to be surprised by suddenly freezer burnt items. A very reliable appliance. Fits in any standard space in I would assume most kitchens. No difficulty in installing and no need to compensate for its size in order to install. Was easily maneuvered with a dolly and I was able to do the entire install on my own. My model is black and I prefer that overall as it doesnt throw off most if not all kitchens decor for those who enjoy a flow to their rooms. I find that black melds well with even the most diverse of kitchen designs and cabinetry. As Ive said before this model is incredibly affordable and does all the basic things you need it to do. Reliable and smoothly built, this is a treat. Well rounded item by all definitions.

We purchased a Kenmore Stainless door side by side refrigerator from Sears.com. They delivered five units before we finally got one acceptable. Not right just acceptable. The bodies of the units were so out of square, one door would be between a half to one inch higher or lower than the other and there was dried expanding spray foam sticking out up to three inches past the metal front plate. The real bad part about it was as long as the refrigerator was all packed up with the foam shipping blocks and strapped down, it looked fine. They would get it in the house, start unpacking it and thats when everything would go to hell. We eventually found out that the model we purchased manufacturing facility had been moved to Mexico. We purchased it in 2009 and because of all the problems we had, Sears gave us a five-year parts and labor extended warranty that we have had to use frequently. Both door seals have gone bad. It took three refrigerator doors and four freezer doors delivered to our home before we got one that didnt look like it had been through Wold War III and you could tell they came from the warehouse that way. Also the plastic surround on the shelves keep breaking. Were on our third shelf. Now, the unit has quit cooling and supposedly has a bad evaporator and drier tube, model# 106.59123801. Im wondering if anybody else has had same problems. According to Sears, this is supposed to be one of the most reliable units Kenmore makes. Thats a joke!

It cools pretty good but is nothing fancy. Its just a plain jane, enough to get by refrigerator. I wish it had an ice maker. I just cannot afford a higher quality, more high tech refrigerator. Its just your normal size. I really wish I had a bottom freezer, deluxe side by side model. It would have so much more room. It would have a bigger freezer to hold more. Says resist fingerprints but that is absolutely not true at all so I have mine covered in magnets and all my childrens artwork. A CHEAP REFRIGERATOR THAT FREEZES AND KEEPS STUFF COOL BUT NOTHING FANCY BUT I AM GLAD I HAVE IT. It could be worse and I couldnt have one at all.

Large enough to hold all we need to store in this refrigerator. It replaces the extra refrigerator in the basement that had begun to leak water into the bottom. This refrigerator stores the overflow from the kitchen refrigerator, or stores items not used often, like Coke we keep for visiting family, or five or six containers of ice cream. This refrigerator has the freezer at the top, and is black in color, but does not show fingerprints. It fits well into the basement as our extra refrigerator. I believe the value of this refrigerator is excellent. The cost compared to the capacity and style very well. Even though this refrigerator is in the basement, and is used for extras, it is nice looking.

Keeps my things chilled but not frozen, would recommend to anyone. It is a great brand for the value, and I know that it will last long enough for me to get the full use out of it. It once again is an amazing fridge and great brand. The fridge has a decent size, and it has lots and lots of space for your goods. Even if you get a smaller one, you still get a ton of room for groceries, soda, etc. This fridge looks sleek and modern. It doesnt have a bulky look, and I do love the stainless steel featured on it. It helps keep it clean, and it just looks good in general. The value for the quality of this fridge is 100% worth it. Anytime my friends want a fridge recommendation its always Kenmore fridges. They arent too expensive for the great quality.

I bought a Kenmore elite refrigerator in Oct of 2015. With master plan warranty. Fridge quit working in sept 2016 not even a year old!!! Told to defrost it completely. Lost all my food about 500 dollars of food loss (I shop bulk), sent receipt of food, just bought 5 days; prior to fridge going out they sent me 200 dollars. Then again fridge went out 1 month later; lost food again. They refused to cover food loss again. Now 2 months with no fridge they expect you to be ok with nothing offer that you can try to find a rental. No rentals available at our local Sears... master warranty, no fridge, living out of an ice chest, missed thanksgiving, now its almost x-mas. Finally they deemed it unrepairable. Theyre not even replacing my fridge. They are crediting my account at half the cost of same refrigerator... they claim its not their fault. Prices have gone up since I purchased my fridge and theres depreciation. I BOUGHT MASTER PLAN supposedly the best, and full guarantee... (obviously someone is lying); SEARS. Are rip offs, so to get the same fridge I have to pay almost a 2000 dollar difference. NEVER. BUY. FROM SEARS - THEY WILL SCREW YOU. Theyre dirty liars. All I have heard is, Sorry for your inconvenience. 2 months no fridge. (family of 5) Their repair people order wrong parts, 2-week waiting period to get next tech out. 1-hour phone calls every time. Just to talk to someone to try to get help. Supposedlybought top fridge out there. So dont buy a Kenmore elite or ever buy from Sears. Many many years ago they used to be good - Not anymore. Theyre dirty liars. If it was easy believe me. I would love to sue them for what I and my family have been through. No one should ever be treated like this. Dirty dirty dirty liars. If all stop going there their business will go bankrupt which would be a blessing and their karma for doing such wrong to people - horrible experience. More than once. Problem with my situation they will not refund my money to me; only store credit **. I paid cash. Have receipt. I dont want to buy from them ever again. Help! And refuse to let them just keep my money for free. I hate them. Please dont get in my pickle. Save yourself. Never go there.

I would advise anyone shopping for a new refrigerator to steer clear of Kenmore elite refrigerators. $2200. On sale less than 3 yrs ago. Plus additional $800 for master warranty. Ice maker stopped working and temperature in refrigerator in the high 60s. Problems started mid June. It is now July 24th. 3 visits from repair tech still not working.
