Our new refrigerator (Kenmore Elite) has had 2 repair calls. Not working. We have a warranty. I have lost all our food since almost 2 months ago. Taking time off work. Late going back to work. HELP!!!! LOSING SLEEP AND TIME OFF JOB!!! OH, NO FOOD REPLACED YET!!!

Plenty of space inside. No cold spots that freeze produce. Easy to clean. Flawless ice maker. Adjustable shelves in both doors. Would definitely buy again. Able to put my largest capacity spaghetti sauce pot inside. Easy to adjust shelves for taller items. Easily held my regular items plus bulk produce I purchased from a local farmer before I was able to process it to freeze. Very attractive. Not cluttered around the ice/water in the door. Easily cleans and shows no fingerprints. Blends right in with my kitchen decor. Very nice fridge for the price. Looks like a designer model without the designer price. Has features found on several higher priced models. Would certainly purchase it again.

My family has used our Kenmore refrigerator for over a year and we still love it to this very day. It gives so much more space than our old refrigerator & the ice machine is an added bonus! Were so happy with switching to Kenmore. Its the only kind of refrigerator well ever use again!

I have no trouble out of it and it works like new and I have had it over 5 years now and I will recommend to anyone. I am very happy with it and I would get another one. I dont know the size but its side by side and has a built in ice maker and fruit saver and lunch meat storage and its big. Its white and has two storage container and it takes up most of my kitchen space but I have a lot of storage and it holds a lot of food. It cost a lot but it was worth it. I pay a lot but I know it will last and I wont have to buy another one for a long time to come and I like it and I had a choice of plenty.

I purchased a brand new Kenmore refrigerator 8/2018 and the compressor blew 9/27/2020. I called to set an appointment date for service and they failed to show. My appointments are now continuing to be rescheduled later and later in the month. This has changed every other day via text or automated calls from 10/6, to 10/7 to 10/19, to now 10/20! I have received no explanation as to why my appointments keep getting changed and no acknowledgment regarding a service request for a refrigerator which is an ESSENTIAL household item.I’ve expressed that I have 3 children in my home and that I was buying ice to preserve milk and eggs in coolers. I’ve lost wages leaving work for a service that never occurred, in addition to losing all my food in the refrigerator and freezer! No coverage because I didn’t purchase an extended warranty. I paid $170 for an outside technician to come Evaluate and repair but I have to have a Sears technician inspect it. The compressor is covered under the manufacturer warranty but I’m responsible for the service visit fee- no problem, if I can only get someone out to do the service. I never imagined that I would have a major part go in just 2 years. All my appliances are Kenmore????

I bought a Kenmore Elite refrigerator in 2015. By 2018, it was no longer cooling properly. The product was still under warranty, so I called Sears to schedule a repair. The earliest they could send a technician out was 8 weeks. It was summer, and I have 3 little kids to feed, so after a week of living out of a spare mini fridge in my garage, I called several other repairmen. No one would touch it. They all said that Kenmore is really made by LG and they are known to have major issues. One tech said he doesnt work on LGs because its not worth my time - it will break again and I will have to be out here every few months. Sure enough, when Sears finally did get to fix it (replaced the compressor) it broke down the following year. A different tech boosted the Freon in the line and said these refrigerators are known to have leaks in the line. As I write this, my fridge is not working again and I am dreading my call to Sears - their customer service is terrible. My 5 year old refrigerator is worthless. Long story short: I used to trust Kenmore products. Never again. Do not buy!

I bought a new Kenmore fridge April 2015 that cost approx. $1600 (before tax), and in December 2018 it stopped working with no warning. I noticed freezer began to defrost and the fridge was not cooling. I called Sears repair and it took them 2 weeks to come out. They came today and the tech said it was the compressor and that it will be $980 to fix and there is really only a 70% chance that it will be fixed... It will never be the same and probably not worth fixing. Needless to say I am so upset, we lost all our food. It’s only been 3 years since I bought Kenmore fridge, I shouldnt be having this problem AT ALL!!! It shouldnt cost me anything. I got the same out of warranty spiel and customer service wasnt helpful at all. When I told him I shouldnt be having this problem at 3 years, he said, “Well that depends on HOW YOU HAVE BEEN USING IT...” I am near tears, I am so frustrated... I am going to throw a beautiful new fridge in the garbage. I cant believe this is happening to me. I had to buy a $100 fridge from Craigslist just to have food in the house for my kids. Kenmore isnt standing behind their products...what is being done??? I read all of the complaints here and I am SHOCKED there are so many people with the same compressor issues... Obviously at this point there should be a recall!

The real problem with refrigerators these days is the flimsy plastic that they are made of will break if you drop something or pull hard. The drawers are particularly fragile. Plus, in the last one I purchased, they took the egg container away.

This refrigerator ran very efficiently and kept all my foods at the proper temperature. The freezer was reliable too. The self-defrost feature is a real work saver. The size of this refrigerator was perfect for a family of 2 and it probably would be fine for a slightly larger family of 4. The freezer is a bit small, but many households including mine, have a separate free standing freezer. This is a standard looking refrigerator, nothing fancy but worked well with my other appliances. It is easy to clean and comes in a few colors. The purchase of this refrigerator was money well spent. It served its purpose well and was reliable. No bells or whistles just a plain refrigerator that did the job.

I never thought Kenmore made quality products but I was wrong! I did not purchase my Kenmore refrigerator; it was here when I bought my home. Obviously, my Kenmore is not new but it works like a charm. It remains as cold as we want. We often keep both the refrigerator and top freezer shelves over-stocked and the shelves are weighted. The shelves inside the refrigerator have not broken or chipped but unfortunately, one of the shelves in the top freezer broke. The refrigerator is more than 20 years old so it was no surprise. (We just put some Gorilla Glue on it and it is holding up just fine.) As I said, the refrigerator is old but it works better than any other refrigerator I have ever owned and I pray that it lasts until I the day I leave this earth. When and if I move, I plan to take it with me because that is just how reliable and steady it is.

Just had a tech from Sears come over after a week to order a part (circuit board). Guess what? It doesnt match anymore as new Kenmore/Whirlpool parts are not backward compatible. I was told to throw this $3K ref on the curb side and get a new one as it is unlikely repairable. I have never had refrigerator break down like this that cannot be repaired or issues with parts. Leave alone I had to pay $85 for the service call twice with no benefit.

Bought it and have not had any problems with it. Runs good and keeps things frozen. Have not had a problem with it frosting up. Dont think we have ever defrosted it. Would recommend to others. For the size it works great. We use the freezer for extra food. We are a family of five and it suits us perfectly. It is great to have space to keep extra food. It has a sleek design. It is just the right height and width. Not too big and not too small. Perfect for our families needs and looks good too. The price was just right. Needed a freezer to store extra food. Didnt need anything fancy. It gets the job done without breaking the bank. Would definitely purchase again.

Model 18 cu ft top freezer 79568039 - What idiot designs a fridge with an egg shelf that is 2 INCHES SHORTER than a standard carton of eggs. We have to cut off the last 2 inches of the carton and put the extra 2 eggs in a bowl on a shelf in the fridge in order to use the egg shelf. Another thing... the two handles on the freezer and lower door have right angles on the corners (very sharp) which are constantly crashing against your elbow when reaching in or out of the fridge. Could have been solved by putting a radius on the handles, but then it wouldnt be as aesthetically pleasing. Dont you people ever have a focus group of people you give these products to, to be able to actually USE them and discover these problems, before spending tons of money to bring them to market???

If you think you are buying a TRUE Kenmore product you are not. If you buy a refrigerator you are buying an LG refrigerator. Read the reviews on LG made products before you buy one. They are abysmal. I have a 4 year old Kenmore Elite refrigerator, made by LG, that has been out for over 3 weeks. Sears will not replace it and so far they havent been able to fix it. Terrible customer service and a subcontractor technician who is actually a part changer. They dont come out to fix the refrigerator but to troubleshoot and order parts they think might be the problem. What a joke. After 3 techs and numerous parts ordered and installed I still have no refrigerator. The latest possible fix date is the 26th of July. The refrigerator failed on the 25th of June.

Great, fits lots of food, right size to fit in your kitchen, the color is is great, the Kenmore refrigerators are great. The colors are great and the food fits just perfectly.

It does what its supposed to do and has for over 20 years. Theres really nothing else to say. It does what a refrigerator is supposed to do at a very reasonable original cost. What they cost today I have no idea. Have not checked prices any time recently. Have not had the need to.

This is a side by side fridge, freezer with a water and ice dispenser. I have not had any issues with this fridge, and this fridge is about 11 years old. The water filter has never been changed, and the water is great tasting. I would recommend this fridge to anyone.

Refrigerator worked well, no problems. Ice maker was especially nice during the hot weather and ice cream was kept frozen but not brick hard. Vegetable crispers kept veggies crisp and the temperature was constant without having to be adjusted all the time. It was the perfect size for my not too big, not too small kitchen. I would have preferred a bit more width in the freezer compartment for things like frozen pizza boxes, but I only had so much space and this refrigerator freezer was exactly what I needed. I myself am not a great fan of stainless steel appliances, but it was on sale and my ex-husband thought it would look nice. When it was delivered, he was so happy, he wanted to get all new appliances to match. Good mid-priced refrigerator and Kenmore was having a sale so we got a good price. I would have preferred something from a different manufacturer but my ex-husband had been brought up with Kenmore and since it was on sale, it was a decent value.

My Kenmore refrigerator lasted me a very long time. Had no problems with it. Didnt need a new one but I decided to upgrade to a newer one. Not because of problems but by my own choice.

Soon after I bought the refrigerator 2 years ago, the door switch failed intermittently and the fridge lights didnt work properly, but the fridge ran OK. When the switch broke totally, I ordered a new one, but after 2 days, I noticed the fridge wasnt cooling properly. I was lucky to get a service man to install a new switch, but then I found out that the defroster fan wasnt working. And due to ice buildup on the fins, I had to unplug the fridge for 2 days so that the ice would melt. Otherwise, the fridge would break and would cost a lot to repair. I found out on the internet that one man replaced his door switch 5 times. The product engineer at LG said the switches are OK for the purpose. This seems ridiculous denial to me. The repair guy said that I would be lucky if the fridge didnt have serious problems than the switch more than twice a year and sold me a warranty in case that happens. According to consumer reports Kenmore is the most reliable brand of fridge on the market of all the bottom freezer drawer models. I am not buying it. My previous fridge had no service calls in the 20 years that I owned it. I wanted a more energy efficient model, and now I am sorry..

It was a wonderful refrigerator. I had it for 26 years and never had a problem with it. It was the best refrigerator I ever owned. It served me very well. I loved that refrigerator and was quite upset when it quit working. I tried to get it repaired but it was beyond that.

DO NOT BUY AN APPLIANCE FROM SEARS... ESPECIALLY A KENMORE PRODUCT! We purchased a Kenmore side-by-side refrigerator MODEL 106.51335710, from Sears in Sept. 2018. The ice-maker dripped from day 1. We were told to let the ice maker fill several times and the dripping will stop. Needless to say, the dripping did not stop. In October 2018 Sears agreed to exchange the refrigerator freezer for a brand new one. Same model. Same problem happened again. From day 1 the ice maker drips. The problem is after using the indoor ice dispenser, ice gets stuck in the chute. As the ice slowly melts, it drips, fills up the tray with water. The tray eventually fills up and water overflows to the floor. In addition, the ice that is stuck in the chute, eventually melts to a small enough size, falls out of the chute, bounces on the tray and falls to the floor. We have puddles of water on the floor, in front of the fridge, on a daily basis.We just dealt with it. A friend recently visited and convinced me we should not have to deal with a product that has not worked from day 1 and I should take care of it before the warranty expires. Here the bigger nightmare begins. We called Sears, told them the problem and they agreed to send a service tech. The tech came out the week of May 13, 2019. He told me the ice maker dripping is not desirable, but it is not broken. It is not considered broken just because it drips water. Water on the floor in front of my fridge (on a tile floor) is not a hazard. After much back and forth, he told me he cannot disparage the company name. HIS EXACT WORDS. He got mad as i continued to press and he left.After many calls to Sears again and many transfers to the useless customer service center in The Philippines we agreed to Sears suggestion of having another tech come out. This tech was much nicer, but basically said the same thing. Although he did tell us he would order a part, but it was not the correct part to fix our fridge. He has to order it because thats what his department is suggesting. I promise you...I couldnt make this stuff up if I tried. Not surprising - we called the customer service number we were given and that just looped us back to the useless customer service center in the Philippines. The service center suggested we have another tech come out. That appointment is set for tomorrow. See the pattern here? My hopes are low for ever getting this resolved. DO NOT BUY AN APPLIANCE FROM SEARS... ESPECIALLY A KENMORE PRODUCT!

Our Kenmore Elite is six years old. We purchased the extended warranty. Sears went out of business locally. Our refrigerator stopped cooling. Since there was no local store, we were not provided with a temporary substitute. We waited a couple of weeks for the repairman and waited additional time for the part to come to our house and the repairman to return. He replaced the compressor. On August 25, less than 6 years after purchase, the refrigerator stopped cooling again. We paid approximately $2600 for an appliance that lasted less than 6 years! When I spoke with customer service, the gentleman offered to sell me another extended warranty. We will no longer purchase Kenmore products.

The freezer works great; it doesnt cause freezer burn. My last refrigerator gave off a bad smell when being defrosted and cleaned. This particular model does not. Would recommend for any home. Im happy with the size of the fridge. Dont want anything too big or too small. A thick, obtrusive fridge can cause space issues in a small kitchen. This fridge does not. Its silver and has a shiny metal gloss finish. It is easier to clean than the other white model refrigerators. The compartments are conveniently located where one can reach and does not cause an issue for me. The price is fair for the quality of the product. I bought this particular model on sale at my local mall. You can probably find it for a good reasonable price online but you may have to pay more for shipping.

Never had any issues with the temperature control. Numerous drawers inside which keep everything separate between me and my housemates. It is a great size for a small household. Plenty of both fridge and freezer space. Love the amount of door space. Drawers are also spacious. Love the black color. Makes the magnets we collect pop. Its very sleek and easy to clean. It matches the rest of our kitchen decor. We couldnt be happier with it. The cost was very reasonable and has stayed working with no problems and little to no maintenance. It looks like it is worth much more than it costs.

Easy on energy, self maintain, and cools really great. Has a lot of door space and has 3 shelves and 3 drawers that are big and spacious. Ice maker and water hookup is awesome. Refrigerator is wide enough to get just about what you would like to put in it. I love its stainless steel exterior. Its very easy to clean and to keep it clean and to take care for. Very bright and pretty. I would recommend this product to anyone. You get your moneys worth with the side by side refrigerator.

It was just like every other refrigerator, but I never had a problem with it. The refrigerator had plenty of space and had settings for the temperature I preferred. I loved the setup of the shelving and I dont know what else to say about a refrigerator.

Need ice maker. It runs pretty good. I didnt think it would be that good but it was. It holds a lot of food indeed. Lot of room, very quiet motor, didnt use up a lot of power, really great fridge. The size is very big. Have 4 kids so I need a lot of food to stock. Very good shelf space. It didnt cost much money. It provides me some great reliability. Love it so so much. Its stainless and very sleek. My old fridge was white and stained really fast. Now this one is easy to clean, easy to store, easy to use. Its just a really great refrigerator. I like the value. It is great. It has a lot of capacity and the freezer produces ice quickly. Very resistant to scratches and wear and tear. This fridge is the tank of the refrigerator world. It looks awesome and the finish holds up to scratches and peeling. It still looks new after 5 years of daily use. It will hold up to anything you try and throw at it. It is perfect. It has held up very well. Over the years still works great. It looks like the day I bought it 5 years ago. Its value should increase after such a long time working flawlessly.

My refrigerator was extremely reliable and built very well. It was very easy to clean and was extremely quiet. I would highly recommend it. We picked the smaller size refrigerator due to being on a tight budget. However, we were surprised at how much space it actually had. We were able to utilize the space given without any issues. It was a basic unit with a beige exterior. Theres not much to say other than it held up over the years and was very tough. It took some bumps without issue and stayed strong. It was an excellent value for the money. It performed excellently. It never broke down or had any mechanical or structural issues. It had enough space inside and was easy to clean.

Plenty of shelf room. Nice size freezer. Very good with energy. It is very quite running nice. Large door shelfs, place to put your eggs. Vegetables on the bottom to put all your produce in a meat holder to hold your and keep it fresher longer. Very large to me. I put sandwich meat, all the condiments that I use. I have room to put a whole turkey in it, a gallon of milk, a gallon of tea, still have room for a whole lot more and yes I can fit everything in it I buy. My refrigerator is white and it matches my walls but white goes good with everything. It is easy to clean. No scratches on it. It still looks new since the day I bought. Like they say you pay for what you get and it was a great value. It doesnt break down. It pays for itself in the long run. It was worth the money I paid and I am very happy with my purchase.

2006-2007 Kenmore trio 76583: On Friday, a day before houseful of guest (30 people), the freezer was not getting cold and everything was defrosted. Then the next day, the fridge stopped working. We have had issues with food freezing in the fridge and had to throw away a lot of fruits and vegetables. I have an old Amana that is 28 years old and it still works, and paid about $400.00. The Kenmore cost me about $1,800 or more and stops working in 6 years. What kind of junk is Sears selling these days? Always thought that Sears was a good brand, but not anymore.

Brought 3 refrigerators from Sears in 2 weeks. All was Kenmores. The first two I had to return right because the ice maker didnt work. The 3rd was the Kenmore Elite. Since it was so expensive and big, I thought it was a good refrigerator. Well I was wrong! It sucks just like the other two! After 24 months the refrigerator just stopped working! All of my food went bad, the ice maker and freezer stopped work! Only thing working is the water dispenser. When I call Sears, they want to charge me a $99 service fee plus I have to pay for parts and labor because the warranty is only a year! $2500 FOR A REFRIGERATOR THAT WORKED 24 MONTHS! SERIOUSLY??KENMORE IS A RIP OFF AND THEY SHOULDNT BE ALLOWED TO SELL THESE APPLIANCES THAT DONT WORK. Taking customers hard earned money! If you want to buy a good product that works, DONT BUY KENMORE APPLIANCES. These Refrigerators are for looks only! I will not recommend Kenmore appliances to my family or friends and I will not buy any more appliances from Sears. Im very happy with the Kenmore refrigerator. I have owned it for many years and its great on performance, its energy efficient, and it keeps food very fresh and cold. It is standard size and quite roomy on the inside, but if you are like me, you always need that extra bit of space and I wish it was just a tad larger, so I will step up next time. Its quite nice-looking for an average refrigerator, but does not have all the bells and whistles of newer, fancier models, like the chrome finish and water attachment in front. Its a very good value and as good in comparison to newer, more stylish models.

I just simply love it. A lot of space for all the things you need for a big family. The freezer has all the shelves you need to select the meat, vegetables, fresh and frozen. A good ice maker.

This fridge is the best one I have ever owned. It keeps everything cool and has a lot of room to put everything in. Its also quiet and not noisy as last fridges that I have owned. The size of this fridge is amazing. I can fit everything in there and still have lots of room left over. I keep cases of energy drinks in the fridge and they all fit. This fridge is a beauty to look at and it fits well in my kitchen. Its not an eyesore at all and could probably go in any kitchen no matter the decor. Ive owned a Kenmore refrigerator in my new apartment that I recently moved into. The fridge is nice, nothing has gone wrong with it yet. The freezer keeps all of the items nice and cold and I havent had any sign of freezer burn on anything. The fridge is nice, keeps everything fresh and has no smells like my old fridge. Its white in color, which looks great and also has a water and ice spout on the front, which is great for grabbing an easy glass of ice water. Very nice, and works great!

Very roomy. All the food fits in it. Lots of storage space. Is really a nice refrigerator. Very happy with your refrigerator. I am very glad I picked this refrigerator to own. I am very happy with the size. It is a lot bigger than what it actually seems like it is. I have no problems with storing all my groceries in it and I believe it was a great choice for me to pick this refrigerator. I think its pretty good looking. Its not a top-of-the-line model but it doesnt cost anywhere near as much as the top-of-the-line model. Overall I am very satisfied. Satisfied with its appearance and his performance. Overall I think for the money I spent on this refrigerator I got a pretty good deal after shopping around and comparing it to some of the other models and the other name brands.

The Kenmore brand is one I trust more so than others and it has always met our expectations in refrigerators and other types of appliances. It also has better prices. It had ice & water in the door which had filtered water which made it better than using the kitchen sink. But small freezer side, would not do a small side by side. I would make the shelves more easily adjustable and have the temperature easily more adjustable and offer it in more colors.

This fridge and freezer hasnt needed any repairs or caused me any hassle in the 4 years I have had it. Performance certainly isnt a problem as Ive never had issues with it. The size of the fridge is nice, not too big or too small, however it could use a little more storage space in my own opinion but it is nonetheless still satisfactory. I really honestly was never too crazy about having a white fridge just because it gets dirty so easily but this one is easy to clean off so I am still happy with it. Not an eye sore. As I said I think this was a great value as it is durable, reliable, and good sized. However Ill mention again my desire for it to have had more storage space.

I have had this refrigerator for a while and have had no issues with it so far. I would recommend it to a friend. Its small enough to fit in my kitchen but large enough to hold everything I need. This refrigerator is a very nice modern looking refrigerator that fits in well with the rest of my kitchen appliances. Its a great refrigerator. I did a lot of price comparing and this one seemed to be about average in cost.

The quality of the fridge leaves much to be desired. I admit that I didnt do my research because I was in a rush and just trusted the name. I wasnt aware that LG was the manufacturer of the Kenmore Elite or I would have know to avoid it. The fridge looks great on the outside and at first glance on the inside, however when you open and close the draws they feel as they are about to break. My fridge is 2.5 years old and water was leaking from the bottom. I figured its the copper hose that feeds the unit but discovered the unit itself was leaking. Upon inspection of the internal hoses I can see cracking in multiple areas of the white hose that feeds the water to the ice maker as well as the hose that feeds the water dispenser. My fridge is doing its job at keeping frozen as well as fresh food fresh bit I paid for more features that just dont work. Save your money and avoid this fridge!!

I have had access to several different Kenmore models that usually came with one of the houses or apartments I have rented, roommated with someone, or just visited over the years. I like the newer ones with the refrigerator on top and the freezer on the bottom. I like how much more spacious and energy efficient the newer models are. I like the models that come equipped with a water dispenser (filtered of course)/ice dispenser (also filtered)! I wish refrigerators were solar powered or could generate their own power so no electricity was necessary! In fact I wish all appliances were made this way! I didnt purchase this brand. It came with a few places I have rented over the years! Yes I was very satisfied with the Maytag brand and prefer it over other brands!

I have had my Kenmore fridge since 1992 when my home was built. In all that time the only thing that I had to replace on it was an inside light socket. Very dependable appliance and when this one finally quits running and I will buying another one.

Found refrigerator in store. Was delivered promptly and installed without issue. Great refrigerator. Had it for over 10 years before it had to be replaced. When I needed a new refrigerator I wanted another Kenmore but I had to have it immediately. Sears did not have any available in the finish and style I needed. As a result I had to purchase another brand.

The Kenmore refrigerator was a great purchase for me and my family. Everyone love this refrigerator. It was quiet, well maintain, no issues. It was just great. The price was good. Nothing but great reviews. The freezer part was a good size, bigger than I thought. The bottom part was real big and could hold a lot.

My refrigerator (Model 795.77569600) displayed this error code last fall which I had fixed in October of 2012. In March of 2013, I had the same problem. Tech support is useless and only wants to send someone to fix it again and at my expense again. They are badly mistaken. I will fix it with a new one made by someone else. Junk, junk, junk!

Whenever I put something on my top shelf in the refrigerator, it freeze and cause water on the shelf. I have put paper hefty plates, bowls. Ive tried regular ceramic plates, glass, whatever. It still freezes and causes water. What can I do?

We shopped around and considering the price, warranty, and features the fridge met our family needs and expectations for the needs of cooking and storing food. The fridge was reliable, energy efficient and it worked for a long time not needing repairs. We like the ease of cleaning on outside and wipe down and maintaining. The most difficult part of cleaning is usually the inside but this one was fine. But it could have a better ice maker. We have historically had good experiences with the Sears brand of appliances, but sometimes the ice clogged up and didnt dispense as it should needing some manual fixing.

It is reliable on keeping your cold stuff cold and your frozen stuff frozen and it has good storage space to organize your frozen and or refrigerated items in. The size is adequate to fit all your different frozen and refrigerated items in without taking up too much of your kitchen space. It has two different drawer to separate your fruits and vegetables in as well as two more shelves to put all the rest of your refrigerated items on. Its simple design makes it really easy to fit into any kitchen space without looking tacky. This is really a great refrigerator for its value. Its affordable. Its reliable without costing you an arm and a leg.

I was well acquainted with brand, and had used Kenmore washers in the past. l like my GE profile refrigerator better although l like the smooth surface of both the refrigerator and the handles for ease of cleaning. I like the large capacity refrigerator section and very large freezer section. Theres various options for ice and water. And nice, roomy bins and in-door egg holder. But it doesnt seem to cool as well as other brands I have used in the past and the model I have does not allow for versatility of adjusting shelves to different heights to accommodate tall bottles, etc. Will probably not purchase brand again.

Bought Sears Kenmore Elite refrigerator about 3 years ago. One of worst purchases we ever made!!!! Shelves rusted after 6 months & refrigerator totally crapped out a few weeks ago. Customer service was non-existent. Not hard to figure out why Sears is a has-been company on the brink of collapse! Will not purchase another appliance from Sears...E-V-E-R!!!!

My Kenmore refrigerator works fine and Ive had it for years (7) so far. No problem with either cooling or freezing. My indoor water and ice maker work really well. They stand up to a lot of hard use. Kids, friends, husband, and me all use it. It had been durable. Easy to change the filters also. Im happy with the fridge. We also got a really good deal on it as Sears had a sale. I would recommend it to anyone.

I initially chose to purchase Kenmore over other refrigerator brands mainly due to the price. It was on sale and it had all the features that I wanted like filtered ice maker and a freezer. It keeps food cold. It also has a vegetable crisper drawer with humidity controls. I had a fridge once that kept coming open because the magnet strip was not good. I had to throw food away which was not good. But my current fridge has an alarm that goes off if the door is left open. It also has an ice plus feature that makes more ice when needed.

I cannot express how dissatisfied I am with my Kenmore refrigerator and Kenmore as a company. At 13 months the control board and door seals needed to be replaced. At 15 months insulation parts had to be replaced. At 17 months drain lines had to be replaced as well as door seals again! I emailed Kenmore 4 times and NEVER got a response. This is the French door refrigerator with the extra drawer in the center. I bought it because of the Kenmore name and the large cubic footage (28+). This will be the last Kenmore product I ever buy!

Overall, it was a good refrigerator with decent space and storage options, but we had to have it fixed 3 times in 2 years. Also, the freezer was very difficult to open and close. I loved the shelving design because I could easily fit all of the essentials and still have space where it was needed for odds and ends and everything still fit comfortably. It has a very modern appearance, so it fit well in my remodeled kitchen. The only con was that it was difficult to clean and often showed dirt and streak marks on the outside. Overall, considering what I paid for the refrigerator, I feel it was a good value. The appearance and size were both great. It met our needs very well.

It works really well. Its a good fridge - I would recommend it. If you need a simple good fridge then the Kenmore is the fridge for everyone to use. I love it. I have had it for 23 years now. And it still works like it is brand new! I can fit big cakes, watermelons, apples, and lots of other REALLY big items in it. I have held 2 bowling balls in it before. (Dont ask why.) o_o If you were to get the white fridges then you need to clean it a lot. But a black one not so much. But white ones are still good fridges. I got my fridge for $59.99 dollars at the store but I clean it a lot since its white and my kids are really messy people. Cause kids are kids.

I really liked the ice and water dispense feature. The fridge always stayed at the proper temperature. The fridge was never loud. I liked the stainless steel finish that was pretty smudge resistant and fit very well into my kitchen decor. The fridge was pretty spacious. The shelves could be removed and replaced to my needs and specifications. The fridge fits perfectly into the nook it was intended for under my shelves. I liked the look of the water and ice dispenser. It was big enough for most glasses, but the over feature was more recessed and discreet. Not too gaudy and shiny. After careful research, the Kenmore fridge seemed to be the best value for the money I wanted to spend. It had the size and features I wanted without breaking the bank.

The Kenmore Elite bottom freezer refrigerator we purchased less than 3 months ago has been a problem and has ruined our kitchen floor under the appliance, and the adjoining rooms carpet . The ice maker line backs up and fills up in the back of the appliance and then leaks onto your floor. We have had 4 appointments scheduled for the repair (on a 3 month old product), and now we are waiting to see if we can have it replaced. It was repaired once to no avail. Now we are just waiting without ice, and our refrigerator is in the middle of our kitchen so the floor can dry out...again. Waiting for the company to contact us about a new or a replacement. I am very discouraged at this point. VERY!

I really like Kenmore. We have had our refrigerator for over 10 years and it has not given us any trouble. But, because it is getting old it is starting to leak a little. So it might be about time to start looking into purchasing another refrigerator and I think we might purchase another Kenmore.

The performance on it is beyond excellent on it. Ive never had issues with it and I have had it quite awhile. At first I was sketched about it but Im glad I listened to my daughter and bought it. The size is very very very very spacious. I love this fridge so much, it is so so so cool. In the future I am in hopes that I can buy another one or convince someone to buy one just like mine. The appearance looks so good I love love love love love it. I bought this product awhile back and in my opinion it still looks brand new. For the price I myself paid the value is excellent. The value is very well kept up and whoever made this product really put their heart into it.

We were finally able to purchase all new and matching appliances. We did our homework and it seemed the Sears Kenmore products were the best rated, what a mistake. As I write this we have a tech out for the second time working on the refrigerator. It doesnt make ice, now the fan started malfunctioning, now its not cool inside but there is ice collecting. At this point if I could afford it I would try and sue Sears. My dream kitchen is turning into a nightmare! Weve never had any problems. Easy to clean and organize. Great size for the price and very energy efficient. Both light bulbs last a long time. It is more than adequate for our needs. It is also adjustable to make the shelf space for different sized items. Its so perfect for our family. Its very basic and white. It looks like a normal refrigerator and fits in with the decor of our apartment level kitchen. The rectangular shape fits well. It was reasonably priced and does the job. It fits our budget and lifestyle well.

I purchased a Kenmore fridge about a year ago. On February 28th, the ice maker stopped working. I wont go into detail but short story, the tray is filling but not freezing. I called the number inside the fridge on March 2, 2017, 1-800-469-4663 and explained what is going on. The rep tells me she will get me a quote. I mentioned the fridge should be under warranty. I am told the warranty expired on February 13, 2017, 15 days before the ice maker stopped working. I asked if there was some type of grace period since this was so close to the warranty date. She tells me there is not. I then asked to speak with a supervisor and was told there is nothing a supervisor could do either. I understand the unit is outside of warranty by 2 weeks, but this is frustrating. We spent a lot of money on a Kenmore because it was supposed to be better quality. Turns out... its not. Save your money and buy a better brand... At least one that stands behind their product.

I will never buy another Kenmore product again. I purchased a home in 2003 that had a somewhat small old Westinghouse fridge that I used for 7 years without issue. I bought a Kenmore Top Freezer Refrigerator 18.2 cu. ft. 68882 from Sears when I had some extra money during a sale for an upgrade in 2011. 2 years later it stops cooling and theres only a one year limited warranty! A one year limited warranty on a $600.00 fridge? Kenmore does not stand behind their cheap products. They want you to purchase the additional expensive coverage or be screwed when one of their cheap parts stops working. And believe me they will stop working!

Its great and never stops working on me. It never defrosts or freezes up as well. The sticks on the computer never get loose either. It also has a great price. The size is big and can fit all of my food especially the refrigerator. It never lets my stuff get too hard or moldy either. I can fit a lot of food in there also. The appearance is nice. Its gray color and it looks fancy and up to date. A lot the gray color doesnt fade and the stainless steel doesnt get rusty or mold on it. The value is great and I got it at a discounted price because Im a loyal customer at a particular store. Also the squad came into my home and set it up for me.

Satisfied and very happy with the overall purchase. It has meet my initial expectations by being reliable compared to my last one which had a very short life span and we had to replace it with the Kenmore brand which is doing much better. It is very efficient and works in a way I really like and the price of the refrigerator I had paid for it was a good price as well. The size was the biggest issue for me. I would just make the fridge larger so that I can put more food and store more items in it and have some extra space for other things that I would need to add to it.

My refrigerator is working very well and have had no problems. My food stay cold all through out the year. There is plenty of room for all of my foods. I cant recall the exact size but I am very pleased with my appliance. I have never ran out of space to put my groceries. Its a nice sleek appearance and the appliance is very sturdy and will not tip over. There is enough shelf space to put my eggs, meat, milk, butter eggs, etc. At the time of my purchase my appliance cost $500 and I am very pleased with the whole deal. I think the appliance is well worth the money.

We are happy with our purchase. We like to buy the Kenmore brand as it has always worked really well. We tried a different brand a couple of summers ago and it just would not keep the temperature cold in the freezer or the refrigerator so we took it back. We like that with Kenmore, the drinking water dispenser is inside the refrigerator so instead of being on the door on the outside I don’t have water stains on the front of my fridge. The thing that I dislike is that the glass shelves do not fit tightly in the frames. On occasion when I have been cleaning out the fridge I worry that I am going to drop the glass on the floor.

I bought a Kenmore refrigerator freezer on bottom. About a year after I bought it, a few months past warranty it starts leaking on my new floor. After troubleshooting everything, I google it, bad drainage, complaints since 2005 on this. There is no recall! Sears keeps selling this crap, I had my old side by side GE for almost 25 years, so excited to buy a new one, and its leaking after a year. I will never buy another thing from sears, they want to charge me 100$ to asset it and more to fix it. Guess thats how they make their money. Hello, it is sad that you pay over 3,200 for a refrigerator and it dies four years later. Had two service guys come out and looked at the refrigerator told me would be over a thousand to fix it. So sad... I loved my refrigerator. Hope to keep it for more than over 10 years. But to die less than four and to pay 3200 and the company just say, Sorry, you should of taken out an extended warranty. It was the evaporator assembly and compressor. I will never buy a Kenmore anything anymore. Plus I will never buy a high dollar refrigerator again. Breaks my heart that I have this nice refrigerator that will not keep food but looks great! What to do with it now???

The fridge keeps everything cool and Ive never had problems with it at all. The insulation that it has is simply amazing. I like the way the Kenmore ref stays cold and that it is very quiet. It has a lot of space in the refrigerator and on the door shelves. The freezer is great also. Overall I am very pleased with my Kenmore refrigerator. It has worked very well for me except that the shelves arms fall off, the doors dont want to stay shut at all times, hard to find light bulbs to replace it, ice maker dont work, not enough storage in the freezer and not enough drawer space. I also dislike the color. But it has never gone out on me and Ive never had to replace anything major on it.

I honestly love my fridge. Its large, roomy and keeps everything inside it nice and cool. I love how the bottom chamber opens and forms more space. I like that the freezer is on the bottom, as opposed to the top and that it isnt one of those side loading type ones. I also like that water dispenser.

Kenmore Coldspot Model # 106-62152110 - I have had Kenmore appliances all my life and never have I had one go belly up in less than 3 years, most lasted 20 years or more. We bought a side by side, a stand up freezer and an extra refrigerator for our pantry, which was the last one we bought and it was 11/11. About 2 months ago it began not cooling right and had to be turned up and even then the freezer was not freezing. Ice cream was like milk and things in the refrigerator spoiled. We live out of town, 40 miles to Costco, so like to avoid that trip by having this extra appliance. It took them two weeks to get a repairman then he said it could take up to 3 or more weeks to repair as it was a major coolant leak and may not be cost effective. Since the warranty had passed I was pretty much told too bad, so sad. This is not a Wal-Mart coffee maker or curling iron. Since when can you not expect a refrigerator to last more than 2.5 years? In talking to the Solutions dept I was told they have no phone # for the corporate office and I had no other place to turn. What a joke. Sears has turned in to another corporate bully.

I chose the Kenmore refrigerator because of the price. It was on sale, so it was affordable for me at the time. It was white, so it matched my other kitchen appliances. It was large enough for my large family and it fit the space I had. I liked the easy access to things on the shelves and was easy to adjust the temperature for the refrigerator and the freezer compartment. The drawers were nice and large enough to put a lot of things in them as well. I had a top freezer on the one I had. But I would prefer a bottom freezer because I accessed the refrigerator section much more often. I didnt like bending down to get to the thing on the bottom shelves.

Happy is the feeling I get when I see the refrigerator up and running for the last 7 years. Dependable is what I feel! Have had no problems with it and its been running for more than 7 years and a residence move. Its an appliance I shouldnt feel that I have replace because of it not working but of the Women aspect. Over the years some women and men stop loving the refrigerator and want a new one to match the home. Now this is what you have to look for. The refrigerator will last as long as your home does. Ive trying to my fridge fixed since March 2016. Its now September 15th 2016 and my manufacture warranty will run out in the next 10 days. Problem: Ice doesnt work. Beeps for no reason (thinks a door is open when that is incorrect). All lights do not work (If I unplug the unit, the lights work for about 5 minutes). Issue with service: Ive been contacting Whirlpool customer service to fix a Kenmore product (Sears told me to call them). They have sent the technician 6 times. Nothing has been fixed. They have changed many parts but with no change in the actual problem. Im worried that theyre just trying to wait out the 12 month warranty and then Im stuck with a broken fridge... Ive tried calling Sears many time. Both Sears and Whirlpool are unable to solve the problem. Sears says they cant touch the product until after the manufacture warranty. That doesnt make sense to me. Please be very careful with Kenmore products made by Whirlpool. They dont care.

First it came in a great variety of colors and models... From day one it looked and worked awesome. Had ample amount of room in both the shelves and the door.. Crispers actually worked the way they should... Other than the maintenance of cleaning [dusting] the coils... NO problems. Thank You.

It is a serviceable refrigerator, but it is difficult to clean. It also has a loud compressor that can be heard in the floors above and below when it kicks on. Plenty of space.

Ice machine was not too loud and ice was perfect every time. It was a bit bigger than my old one but it fit well in my small kitchen. Inside it was great for everything I had. I shop every 3 weeks so I buy a lot for a family of 5. It was a nice color and it matched everything else in my kitchen. I would like it better a bit darker so it did not look dirty so quick. It was a bit pricey like all the other ones but I was happy to pay the price because it was good quality. I should it look for a coupon or a discount but I need it the fridge.

After buying 5 refrigerators over the past 5 years, we finally got the one we love, is huge, everything works great, and looks good. We cant shop enough to fill this side by side with built in ice maker with water.

It is the top of a line refrigerator. We never had any issues with its performance. We had problems with other brands in the past but not this product. It has a larger refrigerator size and roomy drawers for your produce. The freezer side could be a bit larger but in general I was very pleased with the size. I love the stainless steel look for my kitchen appliances so I was very happy with the appearance. It rarely showed fingerprints so I didnt have to clean it often. This refrigerator was not the cheapest one we shopped for but I am willing to pay more for a quality product. I was happy with the quality of the product for the price.
