It is a good brand and can be trusted in cleaning the dishes. Have been using this brand for years so I know this brand is tested and trusted. Very efficient in cleaning. Good in sanitizing. The timer is doing great. It is easy to use and operate. Perfectly fit in our tiny kitchen. But some cant hardly remove hard grease and dirt. Longer the time in cleaning and rinsing and sanitize more properly. It can help save water while using the unit.

Overall, it cleans the dishes. However, some pots and pans it never cleans. Also it is very loud. Sometimes, I have to handwash dishes like if I poach a chicken or make mashed potatoes. The dishwasher gets ran almost every day. If it were larger then, I would not have to run it as frequently and could save water. Water is an important resource. The dishwasher is plain black which is satisfactory. It looks like pretty much every other single dishwasher ever made except white or stainless ones. It is a decent value. However, the next dishwasher that I buy will be quieter with more features. This dishwasher is pretty basic.

I like the overall design of the dishwasher! When it was used it cleaned perfectly and there was so much space. It had many different functions you could use. It was also economical and saved water. It washed the dishes very well. I never had a dirty plate again! Its quiet. I would never use another brand again. Kenmore has the best dishwashers ever. I dont really have to prewash my dishes, I always rinse them, I always have. Its a good dishwasher. I dont worry about leftover residue on my dishes after washing. I have 2 children and I have no problem getting all my dishes in the dishwasher. This includes sippy cups and tops. I cook a lot and it fits my casserole dishes, sauce pans and skillets.It is plain but it gets the job done. Appearance isnt everything to me so Im totally fine with it. I like plain and simple. Had the dishwasher for 3 years and now the pump is out. Pump is over $200. That is a third of what I paid for it. The gasket material around the door started to leak and it will get a very bad smell. We have all Kenmore appliances. All bought new in last 6 years and all have been very poor in quality.

The power wash feature proves that this dishwasher is a great appliance. I dont have to pre-wash stuck on food and greasy residue. When I pull the dishes from the dishwasher, they come out sparkling clean. Also, the dishwasher is extremely quiet to operate and uses very little water and electricity. Although we are empty nesters, we do have parties around the holidays and the dishwasher can be tested with the amount of plates and cups requiring cleansing. It has come through every time. The stainless steel is awesome and I would never go back to painted appliances. It is so easy to clean with a little polish and when its clean it shines so much. I love it! Appliances are not cheap anymore but this one seems to have been a great salute for us. We spent about the median price for name brand appliances.

The Kenmore dishwasher was in my house when I bought it. It is just a plain dishwasher with a couple of buttons. Its nothing fancy. It has a little tray for your silverware and has a rinse cycle wash. Its OK but you have to rinse off the dishes really good so I wash them by hand. Not even an exter wash. It holds most of my dishes but it doesnt hold my big frying pans and pots. It will hold my cookie sheets if I can slide it in between the dishes. I would like to get a newer model sometime in the future.

Wonderful. I love this dishwasher to be amazing. The kids are in charge of washing the dishes. They do not pre-wash etc. They just shove the dishes in the washer and turn it on and poof the dishes comes out spotless. The size is just right. Again the kids are in charge of the dishes and they shove everything into the dishwasher - pots, pans, spoon, forks, cheese cutter, cutting board. And there is room for everything. It is just the right size. I choose Chrome and black cause I am not sure of what kind of refrigerator I am going to get so black and Chrome works. Worth every dime I spent of the dishwasher and times are hard so it was money well spent. I like the fact that it does not use a lot of water and it is not so loud that it keeps the baby up or disturb the dogs.

We enjoy the electronic touch qualities of the Kenmore Elite and the stainless interior. The upper shelf is made with plastic parts that continue to break and cause it to come off track. Also, we arent sure if it was how the Sears installer installed it initially, but the water house fell off and flooded the kitchen and under the cabinet only 1 year after it was installed. The very expensive repairman says he sees the clamps fail frequently. It came with lots of useless thing-a-ma-jigs, that fall off and are not needed anyway. Touchscreen, stainless interior, streamline placement of controls, easy clean stainless exterior, quiet, sleek look shows smudges. Could be better design of dish placement. Its always nice to have more room. Modern, no knobs to have to clean around. Sears no longer has a team or repair services like the old days. Calls for help were not helpful. Try to upsell you instead of fixing flaws of dishwasher.

My dishes always come out clean. The best part is the inside always stays clean. No build up. I mostly have basic features and I normally use the normal wash cycle, no need to use other features. The size is fine for our family, it takes two to three days to fill it up. Our front is black and has the control in front. I wish the utensil holder was installed to the inside door. We usually have to pull out tray to load them. Its pretty quiet but that was an important factor when we chose it. Also it doesnt seem like it takes a long time to clean.

The reviews that I read during my research process were mostly positive. Also, I had a Kenmore dishwasher in an old apartment and I was satisfied with it. I like that it has different cycles for specific needs for dishes. The heat dry and the antibacterial option were great for sterilizing baby bottles, etc. I appreciated the non-drip tray for the dish liquid. I did not like how long it took to wash the dishes on the majority of the cycle options. Most of the time I couldnt hear the Done beep that is provided. Id rather it be louder or a music type of tune to be played so I can hear when its ready.

I purchased my Kenmore in the summer of 1999. Ive never had a service call on it, and never had a problem with it. It cleans the clothes pretty well, but I wouldnt rate it as great. Its been a good purchase for the money, and has far outlasted the fancy name brands that some of my friends have. My biggest beef is that Sears insisted that the county in which I live adds a permit charge, and therefore, my good deal went up significantly. I made the same mistake when I purchased a refrigerator and dishwasher from Sears. They charged me a permit charge. I later learned that there is no such thing.

In 2016 I purchased a Kenmore Elite 14793 Dishwasher based on years of experience with Kenmore (I have purchased washer and dryers, and refrigerators from them) and never had a issue. 4 months ago, during a load of dishes started drying, I could suddenly smell smoke and plastic burning. Upon inspecting the dishwasher, I found a wheel had fallen off the lower rack and melted and was burning on the heating element. I cleaned the mess up the best I could and saw that the wheels were held onto the rack with a small plastic piece. I contacted Sears parts department and ordered the replacement wheels (one set of two on a plastic mount). The woman I talked to on the phone told me that she had just had another call for the same thing and had other calls on this as well. No good. They know there is a problem and wont correct it. The cost for the wheel assembly was more than $50 with shipping.When I went to remove the rack and replace the old wheel assembly, three more wheels fell off. The small plastic bushing that holds the wheels on were all shrunken and cracked. Obviously they were very cheap and not meant to be used in such a hot environment. Kenmore advised that since there has been no recall and its not under warranty that there is nothing they can do but sell me the parts to fix it. Why would I buy $200 in parts that will not last 3 years. This company no longer produces quality dishwashers and will not stand behind obvious defective parts.

The comparison with other models such as LG, Whirlpool, their price is much more expensive and not as nice in appearance and doesnt have most of the options.

The Kenmore Dishwasher was worth the cost. The people at the store were very helpful when talking through which one to get for our house. It was an easy hook up, runs well, with very little noise which is nice. I have little ones in the home that take naps. It was also a nice size and it fits well in area we placed it and does the dishes pretty well, though you will need to rinse dishes before you place them in the washer. Its a nice color and cleans well with little effort. Need to make sure you do monthly cleaning of the inside to keep it running well.

The dishwasher works well enough, it saves time from washing the dishes by hand but I do notice a lot of spotting on the dishes after theyve dried, which is kind of annoying. Good size. We looked at different stores and different brands, but Sears had the Kenmore dishwasher on sale. I liked that it had a cutting board top, but I had to rub oil on it a lot to keep it looking good. I liked that it was movable and I could load it in the dining room and move it to the kitchen to run. I also had other Kenmore brand appliances and knew that they were a good dependable brand. But I disliked that when you hooked it to the faucet that you could not use the sink while it ran. It also would have been good to have the hose longer, and have the hook up to the faucet have it so you could still use the faucet. I also had to have the dishwasher tight up to the counter and I would have liked to have a longer electrical cord that plugged into the wall.

It has met the expectations of what I need to get done. It has adjustable racks and power wave technology to get the dishes 80% cleaner. It is a much quieter dishwasher than most, on 50 decibels. It also has 12 place settings room. It is an efficient machine and I enjoy having it. I like the dishwasher but would have liked it better in black. I do not like the stainless steel background. To me it uses a lot, and I mean a lot of water. It takes too long to wash a load after dinner and drying them after washing them takes a while.

This Kenmore Elite dishwasher has a nice sleek appearance and does a good job in getting the dishes clean but it has a lot of plastic parts. After 2.5 years of use, the plastic wheels broke, the upper basket plastic parts began to deteriorate and had to be replaced. I felt for the price I paid, I should not have had to repair and replace parts so soon after initial purchase.

The storage space of the dishwasher is great and allows for ample quality of wash. I was able to almost all my dish sizes in the appliance. My Crock-pot was the only problem I had fitting in the appliance but with a little push I fit it on the bottom rack. Dishwasher allows for many different washing options and wash cycles worked well when used. Had problems with opening and closing it and it wouldnt latch very well when closed but dishwasher is easy enough to use. I like the color of the dishwasher and inside color goes well with outside color. I also like that buttons are not noticeable. The handle is also very appealing to the eye. Had machine for some time now and its value is great.

Sometimes I have to prewash some dishes depending on what kind of food was on them. The dishwasher works better with nonsticky dishes. The size is about average. Its not very big but I can fit a good-sized load in it. Its the right size for my kitchen. I like the size. Its white so it matches my other appliances in the kitchen. I like my appliances in white or silver typically. It just looks clean and still looks new. We got this for a great value. I depend on it very much so it was worth every penny. I never had a dishwasher before this one and it saves me a great deal of time.

It does a good job. Haven’t had it but a year but it is very nice clean looking, does a great job of cleaning dishes. The compartments inside are nice and easy to use and hold a lot of dishes very well. It’s very good size, fits the space I have for it very well, not bulky and doesnt take up too much space in the kitchen. Works very well with the dimension that we wanted. Love the appearance. It’s really what first sold me on it as I wanted something simple not too messy with lots of buttons on the outside, sleek blends into the kitchen space very nicely. Bought it on a small sale but from talking to other owners it sounded like I got a great deal, and definitely not going to complain about that.

I was happy with the perceived value. The price was standard as with most dishwashers. My dishwasher came in as part of a bundle deal. Was a bit cheaper.It was used everyday for 6 years. It held up well and was reliable. The dishes came out clean every time. It was not too loud when it cleaned the dishes. I also liked how the dishwasher looked. It fit in with the decor of my kitchen. The dishwasher was metallic and shiny. The look was modern and it was very big. I was able to wash a full load every night. It had a compartment for dish cleaners.

The appearance was beautiful and sleek that is why I bought it, but in the end, it was not worth it because it was always broke. Having to wash dishes while I own a dishwasher was not fun. The size seemed typical, but the extra baskets and silverware holders had to be removed when washing big pots and pans. The plastic baskets always broke. It would always break. I had to contact customer service repeatedly to fix it. It also failed to clean the dishes completely. I would have to constantly reset it and troubleshoot on the Internet. Stick with different brands I think cheaper and older models worked better than this. I wish I would have kept my old dishwasher or bought another brand. It also did not help that I bought it from Sears.

Works well just needs a little more--not sure what it is but it feels like its missing something. I enjoyed using it but felt like it wasnt cleaning enough still. It had a good size compartment. Not what Im used to but it holds what I need to fit into it. Could use a few more holding slots for a free dishes. Has a good clean look, nice materials and very presentable to all the company Ive had over. Pleasure to look at. Great job. Would definitely recommend! Great. It was what I needed. Get all the dishes done at once, make the job a lot easier. Always can depend on it when you are behind on your dishes to get the job done. A great way to make sure everything gets done on time: Start it up at night. When you wake up in the morning your dishes will have that fresh clean smell and ready to be used. Its get tough spots undone. Bad and good experience at that same time because the quality was not what I thought it would be. It still got the job done.

Its washed the dishes really well. Never had to double wash. I loved it and I definitely had no complaints. Just use the right dishwasher detergent. It fit well in the spot it was place. Kenmore Elite is one of those dishwashers that you have to prewash the dishes. I bought this about 5 years ago and it started leaking. I found out it was a $5 seal that has been discontinued EVERYWHERE. SEARS, WHIRLPOOL, AMAZON AND EBAY. NO LUCK. The best place for this dishwasher is a landfill. BUYER BEWARE!!!

Workhorse because it cleans without problems. Spotless and clean with every load! I am really happy with it. I would highly recommend it! It holds quite a load of dishes and pots and pans. It work great. I have had for a year and I use it every night and it get my dishes so clean and smell so good. I love it. I have always purchased Kenmore items. I like the customer service, they are very good. The expectations for this machine were very high. I would give it about a 75% overall success. I like the color of the stainless steel. It was also a very fast machine, clean dishes very well, didnt leave any soap on the plates or on the glasses. Very impressed. However, the buyers guide was very hard to read. Theres also a few things I dislike about the dishwasher. It took a long time to finish and it was very loud and could not put very much dishes in it.

It can be a little complicated fitting certain cups on the top rack but overall its a pretty good size for a small home. It is a little on the homely side. I prefer chrome exterior or black, because the white shows dirt and grime a little too much for my taste. But as long as youre using the right dish soap or dishwasher fluid then it works like a dream. Clean it regularly if you start to have problems. Im looking at upgrading soon.

Its really good, runs very well, cleans all my dishes. Never really had any problems or any time where the dishes were not clean otherwise everything has been pretty good about it. I am able to fit a lot of dishes in it, but I also dont want to overfill it because then Im afraid some of the dishes wont come out clean. Fits nicely in my kitchen and matches the rest of my stuff in the kitchen. Its really nice. It has stainless steel, makes some music noise when the wash is done with the dishes. It definitely was not a cheap dishwasher, it ended up being at the max of our budget that we saved for a dishwasher but it was all worth it.

We bought a Sears Kenmore dishwasher around four years ago. In less than two years time, parts started breaking off of the upper rack of the unit. After three years, the top rack was unusable, and so after limping along for some time doing 1/2 loads by using the bottom rack only, we replaced the housing for the wheels on top rack. Only, the screws dont all screw in, but just going around-and-around. At this point, Im not sure that Ill even bother going back to the parts store for a trade on the part, because during the process of fixing the wheels, we remembered that several other parts were broken (half of the spines holding the glass holders dont stay up, and both rack track stoppers are missing, so that rack can only be pulled halfway, or else the whole thing comes crashing out), and it seems pointless to spend more money on such a poorly constructed piece of equipment.Additionally, our HE dishwasher is so efficient that we have to thoroughly hand wash every plate, bowl, glass, piece of silverware before running it through the wash. It worked reasonably well for the first year. After that (and after the warranty ran out), we noticed that it wasnt cleaning well at all. We keep the trap clean. We have read other complaints online, and it seems that we need to take the whole thing apart for a thorough cleaning, in order for it to do a decent job of washing. We dont even bother loading pots and pans into the unit, because even with a thorough scrubbing, they come out greasy.We called Customer Service today, and were told that they could send a service rep out, but we would have to pay for the service call ($89.00). We were also offered an opportunity to buy an extended warranty. Im pretty sure I dont want to pour more money into this money pit. The bottom line is that we paid $800.00 for a rinser/dryer/ dish drainer for our kitchen. Do yourself a favor, and dont buy a Kenmore. That are NOT what they used to be!

The best thing I like is the stainless steel inside of this dishwasher. However, we have had problems with debris being left in cups/glasses, especially if they are put on the bottom rack. For the most part Im happy with the size of the dishwasher. Frying pans and large pots fit on the bottom rack...just doesnt leave much room for any dishes if they are very large. We have a black outside on the dishwasher which I have found to be very nice for hiding dirt. Most stains are not very noticeable and it clears very easy with a quick wipe down. This was a little more expensive than the other dishwashers but it was worth the money because it consistently works hard with large loads and a large family.

I didnt choose to buy the Kenmore dishwasher, it came with the condo that I purchased. The best feature I really liked about it was the fact that I didnt have to wash the dishes. I never had a problem with the dishwasher and it was very quiet. However, there were times with the dishwasher where I had to run the dishwasher twice in order to get my dishes clean. Also, sometimes the dishwasher would leave water spots. But I believe the Kenmore has met my expectations of keeping my dishes clean. Very nice equipment.

My children sometimes do the dishes and dont wash them first but the dishes come out sparkling. The machine is super quiet and does not make hardly any noise. Also it is conscious of the water amount needed with the sensor. Love this product. I think that the product for the price is definitely worth it. It looks good inside the cabinets and is very kids friendly with even a lock on it so that buttons cannot be pushed by little fingers. Also, this product is not too small that it fits hardly any dishes but the outside looks small. The silver color goes great with my dark cabinets and when its wiped down it sparkles, it fits well in the cabinets too. Holds its place and my kids yank on it. It is super sturdy.

I really have no complaints about this machine other than it is kinda loud. Dishes seem to come out clean. Performs as I thought it might. The appearance is nice. The color is a nice matte grey so it doesnt clash with kitchen themes. It fits well with other colors and does not stand out. I would recommend this color and not the black. It is a nice size. There are two pull out shelves. The distances between them is no even, the top one is very close to the top roof of the dishwasher so you can only put small items up there. The bottom one has a lot of room for plates, and could use more room for bigger items such as pots and pans. The silverware sections is perfectly sized. Sometimes it doesnt get everything clean but after a second wash everything comes out spotless. Sometimes if you run the dishwasher with just vinegar it gets clean and that washer runs better. It is a great dishwasher and is well worth the value. Some say you get what you pay for but with this Kenmore dishwasher I feel like you what you pay for and more, because it is just that great and worth it. It is very reliable.

Easily to load and your dishes come out clean. The time cycle saves you on your water bill and you do not use a lot of water. Your dishes are dried in no time. I am not sure of the actual size, I just know that it fit well in the space provided. It was the right size and I was able to get a lot dishes and even some pots in it. The appearance was attractive with easy to open door and buttons that made it easy for you to operate. It was white with black buttons. The dishwasher came with the house so I guess it costs was 300.00. It was made well and it was energy efficient and used less hot water. Consider the size, the name brand, and size and most of all its features, that was good price. We never had to have it repaired or serviced.

Kenmore Dishwasher is very easy to load and energy efficient. Its door stays open while loading. It also has very good wash cycle, rinse cycle and it has drying. This particular dishwasher is small enough to fit comfortably in any home or apartment but large enough to fit all of my pots, pans, cake pans, silverware utensils and bowls, plates and cups. The dishwasher that I had was white with a cream colored plastic along the top where the buttons are that had trimmed as gold, silver or black and also has vents on the front. Its a very nice washer and very easy to clean. I definitely got my moneys worth and I actually purchased it from somebody so we got a little bit cheaper. I would definitely recommend somebody buying this new or used.

I chose this dishwasher because I have a few friends and family who own it, and they absolutely love it! It is for sale for a great, affordable price and who doesnt love to save money?! I know I do and I think it is great because it does a great job at getting off all the food. Sometimes my family cant remember to rinse the dishes before putting them in, no matter how many times I tell them. But this dishwasher has clean dishes every time. All my past washers would leave food stuck on. Gross! But one of the things I dislike about it is that it takes a long time and wish it was a bit faster. I have yet to find a great dishwasher that gets all the food off and is super fast. Maybe its just as fast as it goes. Other than that, I absolutely love this washer! I would highly suggest buying one.

I rarely use, but it does a good job of cleaning when I do. The drying element isnt great but I air dry the dishes with no issues. For the price, I dont imagine I could find one that cleans better! So far, I have found it to be a value for the price!

Our Kenmore Dishwasher occasionally has problems but its worth its value. I wouldnt want any other brand. It is effective at what it does and it is built to last. The dishwasher does great. I have not had any problems with it. I am very satisfied with my Kenmore 24 in dishwasher. It gets all my dishes clean and is quiet. It is only a 24 in built in dishwasher. It that is all the bigger I need to have. It does not take up any space hardly under the counter and out of the way. Jet covers all my needs. It may not be a fancy looking dishwasher but I am a simple person and it goes good with the rest of my kitchen. I like tube white color and the metal trim. It is not a very expensive dishwasher and for how much I paid for it it is well worth it not only cheap. But it works great. I would recommend this kenmore to anyone.

Good machine. Dishes are always clean. It is water smart. Holds more dishes than most. Very quiet. Does not need a lot of dishwasher soap but still gets the dishes clean. Racks are large enough to hold most of my pans. It has two very large shelves. Only problem is that there is no place for the silverware. Quiet and gets the job done quickly. Dishes come out shining and all the food particles are gone. Very nice. If kept up the work put into fixing up was worth it. Easy to keep clean inside and out. I purchased a Kenmore elite refrigerator less than 3 years ago. Within the first year - 2 of the drawers had the front break off. Sears did replace these. About 14 months after purchase 2 more had broken and they would no longer replace them - I could purchase new ones for $130 each. Over the next year the ice maker quit working and 2 of the other drawers broke too. A few night ago - my wife was cleaning the fridge and the door fell off. We had purchased a Kenmore elite dishwasher at the same time. That quit working in less than 2 years. I had the service tech out for $85. He told me that he would have to replace the main board and the pump for $350 and that still might not fix it. I dont think I would buy a Kenmore product again.

We never expected to wash dirty dishes as we always pre-rinsed them but the dishwasher worked well and was relatively quiet and never broke down. The dishwasher held all our dishes and we never ran it everyday but rather about once a week for two of us. The dishwasher can hold a large load if it is filled properly and does a nice job on the dishes. We never put dishes that had food on them in the dishwasher and never expected it to clean food that was caked on. Our dishwasher was white and looked sleek and fit perfectly with the rest of the white appliances in the kitchen. Clean and smart is how I would describe it. Based upon our experience with the dishwasher, we received good value from it and the way it performed. It was not the most expensive model we could have bought but it was a model that we felt gave us more bang for our buck.

I think it is a solid refrigerator. The only problem I have with it is it noisy. The hum is louder than the last refrigerator I owned. However, it was affordable and something I would recommend. This dishwasher was already in a home I bought and when I saw it was a Kenmore I was skeptical. Much to my surprise, its the best dishwasher Ive ever had and Im 64 years old. It has 5 cycles and 5 options but the normal wash with heat dry is all Ive ever needed. It gets everything sparkling clean. The interior is stainless which I had never had before but its easy to wipe clean. The outside is sleek and unobtrusive. The controls are easy to see. Its practically silent. I only hear it for a minute or so as it cycles through.

This washer was a very good one. It was strong enough to thoroughly clean the dishes and was quiet. I would recommend this as a good choice. I had no problem fitting in my dishes in this dishwasher. There was enough room to include my pots and pans and dishes at the same time. The machine fit in well with my decor and was easy to keep clean. It was the same color as my other appliances in my kitchen and I was very satisfied with the appearance. Because the dishwasher was sized well, worked well and looked well plus was very reliable it had a big value to me. I cannot praise the machine enough the five years I used it.
