We bought a Kenmore Elite refrigerator in 2018. On January 29, 2021 the compressor quit working, food was ruined. Okay, things happen. We called about having a warranty repair. Wife was on phone for more than 3 hours with different parties within the Sears network. Got appointment for February 1st, GREAT service! Service provider contacted us to confirm OUR MARCH 1ST APPOINTMENT!!! Back to the phone calls. ABSOLUTELY NO HELP FOR 50 YEAR CUSTOMERS!!! JUST A LOT OF well, call this number. So if you have a Kenmore refrigerator, I recommend you purchase another brand and keep it ready in your garage as Kenmore doesnt give a HOOT about you after they sell you anything. WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER KENMORE PRODUCT AGAIN!!! WARRANTY SERVICE?? WHAT WARRANTY SERVICE????

Kenmore is a familiar brand and I knew the quality. I bought a refrigerator at sale price and it served us well. I like its durability, the layout of the bins and the French door style. Its quiet and spacious. And it fits well in kitchen and fit my taste at the time of purchase, though trends have changed. Complements the other appliances. However, I would like it if it was easier to pull out to clean back and an easier to clean grille. It would also be nice if it came in colors like the Whirlpool copper - the Sunset bronze.

My refrigerator defrost for no reason. The drain pan is not removable!!!! There is blood in the drain pan and you cannot remove or reach to clean it. The smell is disgusting! The user manual mention automatic defrost but I cant figure out when and why it will happen. I lost the content of my refrigerator and with this smell might lose the whole appliance. It is only 2 years old!!! I will never buy Kenmore again. I tried to phone but with the automated service couldnt get any help!

These refrigerators are dependable and reliable. They are efficient and run well. Would recommend. They have great space and the shelving is useful and easy to clean. Just soap and water and they seem to wash up well. The refrigerator I got was useful for the size. We have a four person family and it was adequate for the groceries that we get. Would recommend a larger size if one can manage. There is always use for more space. These refrigerators are streamline and nice to look at. They have an appearance that lets people know that the company takes pride in all they do. They are roomy and have nice placement of shelves. I happened to got my appliance at a great rate. I got it on sale at a retailer. It was a good value and a good price which influenced my purchase.

Do NOT buy a Kenmore Elite refrigerator from Sears. We purchased one in 2011. It broke down in September due to a failure of the refrigerant system, but Sears has been unwilling and unable to repair it. They stalled us, made us wait weeks for repairs, lied to us and finally tricked us into believing our warranty was not with them. They told us the warranty was with the manufacturer, LG. This, we found out, was a lie. It is now November and we have no refrigerator and Sears refuses to stand behind their product. They said their hands are tied. This was an expensive appliance and should not have had problems after only 4 years. That said, Sears has made it impossible with their 3 week appointment windows for repairs, never having the right parts, not showing up for appointments, excuses, and then deceiving us with their warranty story. All with no apologies for the time and trouble. We bought this Kenmore refrigerator in good faith, thinking it was the best we could get. Sears is NOT the same company that it used to be and we are done with them.

Bought a fridge from Sears in October online. Said in stock on site. They took the money right away then sent email it was back ordered a month. Finally it arrives and theres a small dent in the side (I didnt want the hassles of sending it back). Then we started noticing the milk spoiling quickly. The ice cream in freezer hard as a rock. I put a thermometer in the fridge and it’s +15 c (good thing no food poisoning) but had to throw out all our food the week before Christmas. Talking with Kenmore’s customer service in Bangladesh or who knows where, is exasperation. Still waiting after 5 days for repairman. Kenmore did say theyd reimburse perished food. Overall pretty shabby.

So the Kenmore Elite refrigerator that we purchased not so long ago is now breaking down. By breaking down I mean the ice machine part is physically breaking apart. I just found a huge piece of plastic in my glass. Please be aware if you own one!! Just imagine if the plastic was smaller...

Kept the food at the right temperature and make it easy to place food item in the right places. The ice maker was the reason I purchased the refrigerators. The refrigerators size was large enough to for the space that it was in. Large that accommodated all the item I need weekly. The refrigerators appearance was clean and chrome so it was easy to keep it clean on the outside. The price was what I was looking for and the price I was willing to pay for and could pay off in less the two years. Would buy the same item again.

In August 2013 I purchased a Kenmore Refrigerator Model 10672153111. The handle failed in March 2014 due to a stress fracture through the screw holes anchoring the top of the handle to the door. I thought the failure might be the result of the deliverymen overtightening the handle during the delivery/installation. I felt that this might have resulted in a stress-riser leading to the failure. A serviceman from Sears confirmed my diagnosis and a replacement handle was shipped to me free-of-charge which I installed myself, careful not to overtighten the anchoring screws. Almost one year to the date the handle fell off again caused by the same problem, a stress fracture through the two anchoring holes. This can NOT be a coincidence and must be either due to the material (plastic) or the orientation of the anchoring holes. When I returned to my other home the next day I examined the handle on my 20+ year old Non-Sears refrigerator. The handle was also made of plastic but I noticed that the anchoring holes were oriented FRONT-BACK, 90 degrees opposite the LEFT-RIGHT orientation of the handle on my Kenmore. Ive spent over 90 minutes with cheerful reluctant Sears employees in the Home Services, Parts, Kenmore and Recall Divisions and have received no suggestions other than to purchase a replacement handle, certain to fail in another 12 months. A little research suggests that the model I purchased is no longer sold and that all the models Sears now sells has FRONT-BACK orientation of their handle anchoring screws, leaving me to conclude that the orientation of the anchoring screws results in torque to the handle making stress-failure inevitable. If none of us gets relief, perhaps a class-action lawsuit?????????????

Bought it and have not had any problems with it. Runs good and keeps things frozen. Have not had a problem with it frosting up. Dont think we have ever defrosted it. Would recommend to others. For the size it works great. We use the freezer for extra food. We are a family of five and it suits us perfectly. It is great to have space to keep extra food. It has a sleek design. It is just the right height and width. Not too big and not too small. Perfect for our families needs and looks good too. The price was just right. Needed a freezer to store extra food. Didnt need anything fancy. It gets the job done without breaking the bank. Would definitely purchase again.

I purchased a Kenmore french door refrigerator in July 2017. It is 1 year and 4 months old. A couple weeks ago we reached in to get a bottle of water and it was warm. We placed a thermometer in the fridge and noticed that no matter what temperature we set the fridge on, it fluctuates between 33 degrees and 50 degrees. We were told by a repairman that it needs an LG Main Control Board and that the Boards are defective. Do yourself a favor and avoid ANY LG appliances or appliances that have any LG parts.

My family has used our Kenmore refrigerator for over a year and we still love it to this very day. It gives so much more space than our old refrigerator & the ice machine is an added bonus! Were so happy with switching to Kenmore. Its the only kind of refrigerator well ever use again!

Bought in May 2019. Had to call for repair in August. Temp inside was 17.5. Lost everything due to freezing. Twice. Its a 20 cu top freezer with door shelves on inside. Takes up all the space you have inside of fridge.

With my Kenmore I enjoy the space provided for storing enough food for myself for a month or even a month and a half, but it also ensures my food is kept perfectly chilled or the freezer part ensures that my meats and frozen foods stay cold and frozen. Within minutes of putting a food item into the fridge or freezer and the Kenmore appliance cools the item easily. I would recommend this appliance brand because the one I have also has been with me for a very long time and still looks to be with me for years to come.

Plenty of storage, never had any problems, also very easy to clean and it is also energy efficiency. Easy to move to clean behind, easy water and ice hook up with filter. Easy slide out drawers and easy open fridge and freezer doors. The fridge side is big enough to fit $120 worth of groceries and the freezer is big enough for storage of ice cream and plenty of steaks, drawers are a decent size for your vegetables and still have room for a case of beer. The appearance is very modern and will go with any kitchen style and it is also easy to keep clean. You or your family and friends will tell you its a very good looking fridge. All refrigerators are little pricey but with the looks and quality of this fridge you dont mind spending the amount you will, so if you are looking for a new fridge you will have no issues with the cost.

I had purchased a Single door Kenmore refrigerator with a freezer on the bottom about two years ago. I bought it from Sears and had a really good experience with them and was able to find a refrigerator in my price. I have never had any problems with my Kenmore. It has held up really well in the last two years. I would recommend this brand if you want someone affordable and good quality.

I purchased my Kenmore Elite (Whirlpool) brand new in 2006. Two weeks ago, the refrigerator became hot and stopped cooling. I called Sears out to check the refrigerator and I was told the evaporator was gone and it would cost approximately $698.00 to repair. I was shocked and dismayed because I have not had the refrigerator a long time and that is a lot of money to pay for repairs. I called a retired a service repairman to look at it as well and I was told the walls were leaking and I need to try and contact Whirlpool or cut my loss and purchase a new one. I am very upset and really think my refrigerator should be replaced by Whirlpool. All of my appliances in my home are Whirlpool and this has certainly placed a reluctance to purchase anything by Whirlpool in the future. I would like to know if this can be resolved.

We always wanted a stainless steel refrigerator that was spacious on the inside. We had a Sears account already and the Kenmore refrigerator has been very reliable since we purchased it. The Kenmore is a nice looking refrigerator with water and ice dispenser and I really like the double doors, and having a freezer on bottom. It also has plenty of room. But I discovered that the interior lights do not go off when the door is closed. I read later that they had an issue with that, but we did not get it resolved.

It has been a great refrigerator. It is high quality and has lasted a long time. I love this model and it meets my needs. It fit the location we put it in perfectly well. It has plenty of room inside the refrigerator and freezer. It is a perfect size to go in our pantry and holds everything we need it to. This is a very attractive refrigerator. I like the color and the size and the inside is perfect as for as appearance. This Kenmore refrigerator was a great value. I was able to afford it easily with my tax refund check. Very little problems with my Kenmore refrigerator. The only problem I did have which was my fault was a nick I put on the bottom shelfs metal that rusted. They told me to clean it and paint over it. That worked. Like I said, I would buy Kenmore because Sears is a company that stands behind their products and takes care of their customers. I do not know the exact size, but it was large enough to accommodate a family of seven people, three of them being children. The freezer could have been a little larger. The movable shelves helped also, especially if we had tall items to refrigerate. I recommend attaching a water filter to the ice maker if your water in your area is hard. We bought a white refrigerator, mostly because we know we will be keeping this refrigerator for a long time and colors seem to date the refrigerator. Also white matched our other appliances. I dont recommend buying appliances in trendy colors. They get so outdated so quickly. I learned this when the rage was turquoise and wished I didnt buy a color that ages the appliance. I recommend white, silver (stainless steel) or black. My Kenmore was worth everything we paid. I cannot remember how much we paid, but Sears has some tremendous sales and we probably bought it on special. At any rate we are happy with our Kenmore.

I havent had any major issues. I do struggle with cleaning it if something has spilled and hasnt been cleaned up immediately. I also think that because I have an older style, the placement of items in the fridge is more difficult.

In the winter of 2014 I bought the Kenmore 795.5131 model side-by-side refrigerator during a sale from Sears. In the spring of 2015 the ice machine stopped working. I did not buy more than a 1 year protection plan and am quite annoyed that I had to pay over $200 to have it replaced. The repairman who I have had used for over a decade told me that this brand of Kenmore uses LG parts who are mostly made of plastic. My intent is to let others and Sears manufacturers know that by buying one they may be in the same boat.

Wanted a side by side; like the refrigerator haven’t had any issues with it, like that top shelf slides out. Some containers you can’t stand up straight, the freezer is small & narrow, things fall through the grates on the shelf. It is 16 years old & sometimes you would just like to have a newer model.

Runs quite and good. Stays cold and has a nice ice maker. These last a long time and could be used for many years. It outlast others and I would recommend it to anyone. The price is also good. The size is a standard to large size. It has plenty of room for all my foods and it has a good amount of freezer space. With this freezer I do not need to use a deep freeze because this holds all my foods. I love that it always stays cold and runs so well. I love the appearance of these refrigerators. They are very stylish and unique and fits in with the rest of my home decor and kitchen colors. Its a good value based on its size and color and it runs well and could last a long amount of time before having to buy a new one.

The best refrigerator brand out there. My refrigerator is white and it is a perfect size. It fits everything that I need in there. I would definitely recommend this to keep your food cold and fresh. There is a time thing in there where you can change to where you want it to be. It is the best value you could ever have and it is worth the money. I am so unhappy with the Kenmore refrigerator I bought from Sears three years ago. Today I had the second repair done, which has now nearly doubled the cost I paid for it. Ive never had a refrigerator that stopped working, let alone twice in its first three years. My old Frigidaire was still running, but it was so old that the plastic inside it was crumbling apart! But not one repair! With the cost of this Kenmore, two Sears repairs (labor was $258 for a 15 minute repair), and all of the food that had to be thrown out. This is the most expensive refrigerator I could have purchased and I hate it. I will never buy from Sears again.

It is a double door refrigerator and has a ice maker in one of the door of the refrigerator that is black. We paid fifteen hundred for our refrigerator two years ago and it is well worth its value. Got it at Lowes and they delivered it and put it in for us.

My refrigerator is working very well and have had no problems. My food stay cold all through out the year. There is plenty of room for all of my foods. I cant recall the exact size but I am very pleased with my appliance. I have never ran out of space to put my groceries. Its a nice sleek appearance and the appliance is very sturdy and will not tip over. There is enough shelf space to put my eggs, meat, milk, butter eggs, etc. At the time of my purchase my appliance cost $500 and I am very pleased with the whole deal. I think the appliance is well worth the money.

Would not recommend buying any appliance from Sears. Their support is crappy as is their product. Have had our fridge less than 4 years and it has already broke twice. Have spent over 700 on repairs for a 3,000 dollar fridge. Just finished talking to “service guy” who couldn’t find order with phone number and they can’t look up by customer name! Was calling to ensure right part was ordered since the compressor went out and I received a small wire copper tube only. After me having to do the footwork for him to find my order all he did was cancel the service call since the part wasn’t here! Sadly enough it’s no wonder Sears is going under.

Pls stay away from Kenmore Elite Refrigerators sold by Sears and built by LG. Paid $2400 for the French door refrigerator and purchased it in Nov 2015. Bought extended warranty for additional 3 yrs for $500. Fridge stopped working 1 week ago. Not cooling or freezing. Sears tech came out and said this is a common problem with all LG refrigerators branded under Kenmore. 3 yr warranty expired in Dec. Go figure. Being charged $500 for labor. Wife is extremely annoyed. Our 15 yr old refrigerator in garage is working nicely which allowed us to survive. I am planning to complain to LG executives.

Never had a problem. Freezer is real cold as is the frig. Never had a service issue. Very quiet and dependable. Reasonable price for the unit. Used as a second frig, little small for the main one. One reason we brought this. Price and it is a Kenmore product. Backed by Sears service though have never used it. None of the shelves or door shelves have broke.

I bought a brand new Kenmore side by side because I had previously bought a Kenmore refrigerator 35 years ago and it is still running. My new one was beautiful but it died in 2 years 3 months. Compressor is totally shot and 1 year warranty covers NOTHING. I had the local refrigeration repair company come out that is reputable and honest. He didnt even charge me the full price for a house call. Thank goodness I kept my old fridge and plugged it in and it runs fine. I will only buy American made going forward and have learned my lesson... Always get the extended warranty.

I really love my refrigerator from Kenmore because of their selection and pricing. Also Ive never had any problems with it and I like the styles of the refrigerators come in the colors and styles are convenient and the compartments the way they are built are great.

This sears refrigerator has served us very well for 30 years. Only problem is that we have repaired icemaker twice in 30 years! The repair man who fixed the ice maker told us they dont make them like this anymore. Very satisfactory refrig.

I bought brand new appliances from Sears.com in May 2017. The refrigerator broke down already. I called Sears. They sent a repair guy. Ice had formed in the freezer and caused the motor to shut down. He melted the ice with hot water and left... Fridge started making noise. I called back and was advised to wait a few days. The noise stopped came back and the ice formed again. Guy came back. Has to place parts on a 5 mo old refrigerator... Customer service is terrible. I spoke to 5 people. No resolution... They just want to replace parts and not the refrigerator.

Loved that it was frost free. I never had to defrost it, nice big crisper drawers, liked and the shelves. Plus, color never did colored over the years either. However, the humidity it was too high in the crisper. Veggies went droopy. Moreover, seemed like the fridge itself was too warm to the touch.

Keeps all the cold my food and is quiet and low on energy bills. It is large and looks great in my kitchen and all my friends and neighbors come and admire it and want to know where I got it. The fridge is big to hold turkey, fruit snacks and milk. It has drawers and is easy to clean too. I pull out the shelves and clean them weekly without an issue all the time. The stainless steel is pretty cool and the best thing that is the price of the fridge was affordable to make it pretty and fit in with the rest of the kitchen. The value was good and the warranty was long enough for me and the company is that easy for a great price, i comparison shopped too and ensured that it was good.

When it comes to refrigerators they are usually pretty expensive. This refrigerator in particular is less expensive and you will not sacrifice quality. The quality is excellent. It keeps your food cold and it has a great section so the cold air does not escape.

I had a Kenmore refrigerator for over 25 years. It was the best one I have ever owned. Any Kenmore appliance will last for years. It is the best you will ever own if you purchase one. I never had to replace any parts or have any repairs done to it. It just kept working and working. It was big enough to hold anything I ever needed it to hold. The Kenmore refrigerator was a name brand and on sale plus it came with a nice warranty and the store had it in stock so I was able to have it delivered the very next day. However, the delivery person was not here during the window they advised. Although I like the color of the fridge, it would be nice in some nonstandard colors. Also, the white color is easily damaged by magnets which everyone uses. Nevertheless, the Kenmore Refrigerator is sturdy, reliable, nice looking and easy to clean. It fits nice into a precut out spot for my refrigerator.

The freezer was frost free and holds everything that needs to be kept frozen so no problems there. The refrigerator worked quietly, kept everything cold, had enough room to hold all items, and easy to clean. It can hold fridge containers of soft drinks, gallon jugs of tea, holds everything that needs to be kept cold with no problems. It fits in the area where it needed to be and the appearance looked wonderful. Just a fantastic appliance to have in the kitchen. It saves money on the electric bill and is a great deal for the price.

My wife and I purchased this 2700.00 Elite refrigerator 79574043.411 from Sears in July 2016. In August 2018 it stopped working. I called Sears on August 4 and I was told they could not come to my home to diagnose the problem until August 17. Meanwhile all my food had spoiled. I had a home warranty. They were able to come out to my home on August 8 (5 days later). They said the unit had a leak and all the Freon had escaped. The appliance repair said Sears would cover the parts but they couldn’t repair/touch as it would void the Sears warranty. So I called Sears. They said yes that it’s covered under warranty but I would have to pay the labor and wait until August 17, 2018. After multiple phone call to overseas customer service, they finally agreed to come to my house that day.The friendly technician arrived today. They said that my compressor went out - not Freon issue. Said the parts are covered but labor will cost me 345 dollars. They said they can’t come back for 2.5 - 3 weeks. I scheduled and paid the costs but who knows. So basically this 3,000 refrigerator is costing me a ton of money and time without refrigerator. I think they need. Way to go Sears - now you know why you’re still in financial ruin.

There are several perks to this refrigerator. 1: It is durable. I have 3 kids and even with them and husband going in and out of it all the time, nothing ever broke or came loose or stopped working. 2: It is very sleek and beautiful 3: There was enough room to store a months worth of groceries for my rather large family. Fits well with a standard sized kitchen but also looks great in my larger sized kitchen. It also comes in different colors to match whatever decor you happen to have. This appliance is sleek and beautiful. It matched my other Kenmore appliances perfectly and its coating is very resistant to staining or fingerprints, unlike many other refrigerators we looked at. For the price we paid, we received an extremely durable, lasting refrigerator. I would recommend it to anyone of my friends who need something that is going to stand the test of time and tons of use!

The best I ever had. It is big enough for the food that I put in it and it does not over cool the products that I put in there either. I would highly recommend it to family and friends just as I have. The one I had before this one was the complete opposite. It over cooled my veggies and fruits and to make matters worst the milk. I mean these are things that most people take for granted. I know because I did too. But theres nothing worst than going into the fridge for a beer and its frozen. Well with this Kenmore you dont have to worry about a thing. Just fill it up and enjoy. The one that I had was about around 6 feet tall. Im not too sure about the width but I know it was big enough for us. You will not be disappointed. I assure you my friend. Its a beautiful fridge also. I get compliments on it all the time. When I offer people a drink they usually get up and come to see the inside of it like its a new car or something. The value was on the money as far as how much I had to spend and what I wanted to spend and to be honest I believe that I paid less for what the fridge is worth.

The performance on it is beyond excellent on it. Ive never had issues with it and I have had it quite awhile. At first I was sketched about it but Im glad I listened to my daughter and bought it. The size is very very very very spacious. I love this fridge so much, it is so so so cool. In the future I am in hopes that I can buy another one or convince someone to buy one just like mine. There is plenty of room for the family. Enough room in the freezer section. Its frost free. Keeps drinks cold and frozen food frozen. Plenty of room for everything a family needs. It fits in a normal house allotted space in the cabinet layout. Room enough for gallon jugs of liquids and 24 packs of soft drinks. Its sanitary white, easy to clean. Freezer is on the top. Refrigerator on the bottom. Interior is white, Coils are located in the rear. Theres a drip pan underneath to catch the defrost drainage. It is very valuable because it is well insulated to maintain temperatures during short power outages. Its well made so it will last longer without needing to be replaced.

The freezer worked very good, and so did the refrigerator, its been running for years. Id certainly buy another one. I could fit quite a bit, had lots of room, was well designed, and the performance is excellent. The size of the refrigerator was perfect for my family. It worked very well at holiday times when we had an awful lot of leftovers, I would like to say how satisfied I am with this refrigerator, its been working great for years. I love the style of the refrigerator, it was easy to match with all my decor. I certainly loved the color and design. I would recommend others to buy this refrigerator, my whole family is happy with it. The value was perfect, for what I paid for it, I certainly got my moneys worth. I would recommend anyone buying this refrigerator, the value and quality is 100%.

US government allow American consumers to continually get ripped off by manufactures and retailers. LG/Samsung newer model refrigerators have 220v compressors which does not work well with US circuit standards. Repair people state compressors have known defect. Its not a defect. Those 220v compressors are intended to work for a certain duration then burn out. If you replace one then sooner or later you will replace another. Purchase new Kenmore refrigerator from Sears 2017/2018. Stopped working Sept. 2021. Refrigerator labeled as Kenmore but model number is LG (795.72493.611). Try buying replacement parts using model no. you will never receive correct part unless you dismantle original and locate exact part number. This has been a nightmare. One repairperson refused to try and repair. We found one who educated us that replacing 220v compressor with 150v compressor would fix the problem. Additionally, he indicated 150v compressor will last for years as oppose to replacing with another 220v that would out again in about 2/3 years. The government/retailers and manufacturers allow consumers to continuously be ripped off. Its called capitalism. Also switching tag from LG to Kenmore should be illegal similar to switching car VIN. There should be huge price paid by manufacturers and retailers with regards to selling products with known issues. LG not found in company list. Why?

I have used this fridge for 4 years and it still works great and it keeps cool and it is good on electric bill as well the performance. It is the perfect size. It will fit in all spaces and it dont take up that much space but it holds lots of food. It is great to own. I recommend this fridge to all. The overall appearance is basic but it is nice because it goes good with all cupboards and counters and looks good with everything and it is white so it goes great with my white walls. The perceived value is that I believe it will hold its value because its still like brand new and its quiet so it will last for years to come.

We purchased a brand-new Kenmore refrigerator on Aug. 16, 2017. The refrigerator section failed in April of 2018. The “JAZZ” motherboard and damper module were replaced under warranty. Two years later, April 2020, the refrigerator is dead again. Verified via built-in diagnostic tests that the compressor and fan were functional when commanded. Chose to replace the JAZZ board myself, but that didn’t solve the problem. It is likely the thermistor is bad, but due to the stupid design, I’m forced to buy a complete wiring harness as the thermistor is assembled as part of the harness and cannot be purchased separately. Pure foreign-made junk. Buy American-Made! Don’t buy Whirlpool/Kenmore, lest you enjoy throwing out $100 in food every two years in addition to shelling out $300 in parts every two years (more if you are not a DIY person). Our old KitchenAid lasted almost 20 years. I think some of these manufacturers need a class-actual lawsuit to incentivize them to build quality appliances, and back them with a 10-year warranty.

Both of the compartments allowed enough space for many food items and the freezer compartment had enough space for many different sizes of frozen food items. Temperature was consistent in both the refrigerator and freezer compartments. The refrigerator was the perfect size to hold enough food for the entire family. The appliance fit in very nicely with the decor and ambience of our family kitchen. The color blended just beautifully with all the other appliances in the family kitchen. I would rate the value of this appliance very high. It exceeded the manufacturers requirements and helped to lower the amount of wasted food from spoilage. It saved a lot of money.

It works really well. Its a good fridge - I would recommend it. If you need a simple good fridge then the Kenmore is the fridge for everyone to use. I love it. I have had it for 23 years now. And it still works like it is brand new! I can fit big cakes, watermelons, apples, and lots of other REALLY big items in it. I have held 2 bowling balls in it before. (Dont ask why.) o_o If you were to get the white fridges then you need to clean it a lot. But a black one not so much. But white ones are still good fridges. I got my fridge for $59.99 dollars at the store but I clean it a lot since its white and my kids are really messy people. Cause kids are kids.

Kenmore is a well-known brand. We have always heard that Kenmore is a great product and even when I was a child, my parents bought Kenmore appliances. We have a very small kitchen and Kenmore was one of only a few products that had the right size that we needed. We couldnt beat the price at the time and my parents had a Kenmore refrigerator too. Our Kenmore refrigerator lasted 10 years with 2 kids and a husband that were constantly opening and closing it. It was also very spacious to keep a lot of food and it never leaked like the refrigerator that I have now. But we would have liked an ice maker instead of having to make ice cubes on a daily basis since theres 4 people in my house. Nevertheless, we would buy a Kenmore again.

I bought my Kenmore Refrigerator a while back and it is still in good shape. When I bought it, I didnt want to spend a lot and so I chose this one. The fridge is white and while I am not really picky with colors, you will be able to notice the dirtiness quickly if you tend to spill things. Also, we are a family of 6 so we tend to buy a lot. The normal side where you put eggs and milk is okay. The space is big and you can put a lot of things there. But, I believe the freezer side is too small. Nevertheless, everything we buy fits.

The refrigerator kept most of the food cold, however it had poor vegetable humidity control. The meat container sections were well-spaced but I prefer have a single compartment instead of using a multi-spaced compartment area to store your rock-hard meats. The refrigerator was well-spaced and it had decent legroom for standing inside of it, however when it comes to freezer room, there was not enough space. Yes it was overall not great.

The performance is good. It work seamlessly. I like the service it is providing. Keep the fruits and vegetable fresh for long time. It is better than other refrigerators available in the market. It have a good size. It have enough space to accommodate my vegetables, food items. We can keep lot of curries inside it. Still we will have space for more items. And the freezer box is also quite big. The look is great. The color is light black, but it does not fade with time. I like this color and it matches with my kitchen. This color was not available with other brands. That was one of the reason I selected this model. It provides a good value. Size is big. Keep the food cool. It have large box for ice and the freezer keeps it quite cold. We can keep food for long duration and it will not get destroyed or rotten.

We bought the Kenmore trio 2 years ago and the ice maker never worked great. Recently we had it repaired and it cost us over $400.00 to fix. There was a gasket that was installed improperly at the factory in Mexico that allowed water to leak all over. A whole new gasket system had to be installed that wasnt installed on the original product. Also the ice tray was cracked and it was letting water run into the tray and freeze on the bottom causing a mess all the time. You cant just buy a new ice tray, you have to buy a whole new unit for $130.00. The warranty would have cost more than that so that is a moot point. All I can say is that this just shows me that they dont care about quality anymore. Just making as much money of all the consumers as they possibly can. Thats the truth!

It had the best price compared to all of the other fridges and I liked how it looks and the brand itself. It’s a really cute and sexy fridge to own and it works pretty well for my own needs. I also like how spacious it is. It has lots of room for all of your fruits and vegetables and other various foods. This fridge is good and very cold too. However, I wish it was quieter because sometimes it wakes me up at night and can be a bit annoying. It needs to include some sound baffling as well.

I too spent my hard earned dollars to purchase a Kenmore bottom mount refrigerator. Within two years of purchase it began leaking water onto my kitchen floor. Not only is this problematic in terms of actually having cold storage for our food but a hazard. Having been unaware of the problem, I took a major dive on the kitchen floor when I slid in the puddle of water. One more reason to BEWARE of purchasing from Sears. Seems like Sears will not change their irresponsible practices until a law suit forces them to do so.

This Kenmore french door fridge is fairly straightforward. It has plenty of space in the fresh food compartment along with good storage options. However, this fridge falls short of the higher ranked products in our review because of the disappointing freezer. It is small for the size of the fridge and not very well organized.

The Kenmore 51783 stood out to me from other fridges because of the features and it has been a great refrigerator for me so far. I have enjoyed my time owning it so far and it does a good job. I have always enjoyed the Kenmore brand in the past and I hope to buy another fridge from Kenmore in the future.

Worked great! Never had any problems with it at all. With a family of seven, it could have been roomier. Maybe more shelving or deeper shelving. More compartments maybe as well. Seemed like I always needed more room for bottles and jugs, etc.. My refrigerator looked great! It really wasnt anything too fancy but yet it had a clean sleek design to it. It was white in color rather plain but it matched and has very clean looking. I believe it was a fantastic value including style, design, price and especially dependability. I would most definitely recommend it for sure.

Our refrigerator is 12 years old. It has never let us down never needed repairs. Definitely a good investment. If we need replacement parts they are happy to help. I would definitely buy this brand again and again.

I enjoyed my Kenmore for a little over 10 years before I traded in for a newer model. I wanted to upgrade and have an ice maker. I never had any serious issues with it and it kept food exactly at the temperature I set. Even when I lost electric last summer for 10 hours, I knew I wouldnt have to worry about the food in my fridge spoiling.

The ice compartment holds a large amount of ice so that you wont run out. Elegant black finish that hides any dirt or debris. Always looks sleek and beautiful. Very modern and looks wonderful in any color scheme. And fingerprints from children are unnoticed. Easy to clean and stays nice and fresh looking. Its a beautiful appliance that looks great in any kitchen. The cost is great. Its well worth the price, both in value and energy efficiency. Pays for itself in the long run by keeping food from going bad or frozen items from becoming freezer burned. Also very energy efficient compared to other refrigerator that are on the market.

It keeps things very cold and easy to adjust, works just fine and I have never had any problems out of it... Its been a great performance refrigerator for years and more to go I hope. I wish it was bigger but it can only hold so much food. Its ok for a fridge. It does its job of keeping things in the right place opening and closing the doors a lot. It just a plain white fridge. Its got shelves and drawers. It had a door handle and a freezer up top. Its ok, bought it a long time ago. So its doing its job and thats what we wanted out of it to make our food cold.

I like the Kenmore refrigerators double doors, meat and vegetable keepers and ice maker. The refrigerator portion has 5 shelves, the freezer section has 4 and the freezer door has 5 shelves. I love the ice maker and the way the ice cubes are moon shaped and not clunky. I like the vegetable bin because it keeps the lettuce crisper and the tomatoes are not soft. Cucumbers are kept crisp for over a week as well. The meat keeper has a clip that can be adjusted up allow cooler air from the freezer to come into the meat keeper. The shelves are adjustable and this allows storage space to be used to a maximum advantage. I really like everything about the appliance, Thats why I chose it. Its been a great 30 years. I have always shopped at Sears for appliances and their service after the sale has always been great. It is easy to get replacement parts if you are lucky enough to have someone in your family who can work on appliances.

I really enjoyed my Kenmore refrigerator. It is recognized as a top appliance brand for years. I grew up with a Kenmore refrigerator in my childhood home. Now as an adult I bought this brand for my own home because of the good experiences in my past. At this point I have had my refrigerator for about 4 years and I havent had a problem with it even once. It definitely serves its purpose of keeping my food and drinks cool and the temperature is always perfect.

We continue to use our 1986 countertop Kenmore Microwave (model 87627) several times a week. Still works perfectly, display and keypad never had a glitch. Even the original light bulb works. My point? We have had much newer Sears Elite appliances that have not lasted as long, or the display/control panels burn out, refrigerator diffusers stop working, light switches fail, some push buttons stop working, etc. They dont make them like they used to.

We had a Sears store close by for many years and usually purchased all of our appliances from them. The line of appliances was fairly wide and there were adequate choices to make a decision for the model we desired. The Kenmore refrigerator was spacious in capacity, had good produce space and I liked the ice and water dispenser options that it offered. I also liked the color options because I wanted it to match my other black appliances. However, I was disappointed in the performance of this refrigerator because it broke down after only 2 years and then I could not get immediate service for it. Serviceman came, but then didnt have parts for a repair even though we gave a full description of what part had failed before the serviceman came. We would not repurchase a Kenmore refrigerator.

The fridge met my expectations. It was spacious and had a very large ice bin. The flaw to that was that it limited freezer space so we had to get a chest freezer for the rest of our food. I was still satisfied with it. It was a little spacey but we were able to get it in the spot where we wanted. If it were just a couple of centimeters thinner, I would have been more satisfied. I thought it was a little too expensive but we bought it anyway since it appeared to meet our expectations.

Ive owned this refrigerator for 10 years and its always performed perfectly. The food stays fresh without getting dried out and its easy to clean. All the food I need for a family of 4 fits easily and I especially like how I can put a gallon of milk on the door. Sometimes I wish for a bigger freezer, but my kitchen would not accommodate it. Its a pretty standard-looking refrigerator and would not stand out in a crowd. But it matches the look of my kitchen and I am more interested in how it works than how it looks. This refrigerator was one of the least expensive we found while we were shopping but its a great performer. It had the extras we wanted without all of the bells and whistles and was a great price.

Bought it in 1997. Just noticed the door seal on the refrigerator is going bad so I should replace it. Bought it in 1997 and it still works just fine. The Sears high efficiency furnace I put in my house also works great. That was installed in 1983... 36 years. I've had great value from all my Kenmore and Sears products.

I enjoy our Kenmore fridge. It has plenty of space for a lot of groceries. If I had to say on anything negative it would be how hard it is to clean out ice drawer. It has made the ice have a funny taste and theres even been debris - maybe rust.

I had an issue with my bottom freezer Kenmore refrigerator this week that I bought 15 months ago. Control panel showing Er rF error and water dispense, ice dispense and refrigerator was not working. Only Deep freeze was working. Freezer was making big sound sometimes. I called Kenmore from Warranty page. She set-up appointment to come out tech guy after a week on their available basis. I asked her if that will cost me anything? She said no unless there is part that do not cover by factory warranty and if I do not agree to replace the uncovered part, it cost nothing to me. She said that after tech guy look at the refrigerator he will give me cost that include part and labor.So, that evening I also discovered that refrigerator also not working and food went waste. Then I called local tech from the Web that was picked up by SEARS guy. After I gave my phone #, he found that I have schedule to check refrigerator week later. Then he started telling me the prices that involved the tech guy coming to my house. I told him about the conversation I had with last rep. He claimed that she was lying and they will take action on that. I was so confused. The 1 year, 5 years and 10 years factory warranty that was written in manual that I tried to explain to him, he just denied and speaking behalf of Kenmore company. The price he quoted me same as Steven below. That is $79, just for the tech guy coming to my house, $278 for 1 year extended warranty but first visit I have to pay $60 extra to the tech guy and if the refrigerator is not fixable, they will give me credit of $500 towards my next new purchase of SEARS credit. This was a totally different kind of conversation than I was told by the previous rep. He was trying hard to take the offer at that time. But, I just told him, I am confused and I will call you back once I figured out what to do. Then I called back after an hour at 1-800-469-4663 (the # from Manual) to accept the offer since I have to have working refrigerator. Rep found that the appointment next week that was scheduled by 1st rep. I asked her to move the schedule a little earlier since freeze was not working. Luckily, she found next day appointment. I again asked her if that cost me anything. She said no unless there is a part that needs to be replaced that is not covered by your Factory Warranty. Sweet, I just did not ask anything. Next day tech guy came and take a look my refrigerator with no cost. I did not have to change any parts. He fixed it and freeze is working. I did not pay a penny. So, good. In fact, SEARS is manipulating to charge money to consumer. Do not call the SEARS, call the phone # from manual. In manual it also listed as SEARS too thought. Since I had this experience with SEARS, I am not going to purchase anything from SEARS. SEARS trying to rip my money. I would suggest everyone to call 1-800-469-4663 rather then SEARS. Hope this will help everyone. If your refrigerator is less than 5 years old and you have not purchase extended warranty from SEARS, at least tech guy come to your house free. DO NOT TRUST SEARS. I have all my appliances are Kenmore brand and bought from SEARS, but I am not going there again. Their cheap way to do business is not acceptable.

I find the freezer space to be sufficient, runs quietly, energy efficient. Refrigerator space layout is good due to the adjustable shelves. I find the interior space to be more than enough room for my needs. This is mostly due to the fact that I can adjust the shelving to my particular need. While not the most modern look, I find it looks very nice in my kitchen area. My kitchen has a more classic look so I do not feel the need to have the most up-to-date appliances. I feel my refrigerator to be a good value. It serves my needs well without having all the unneeded bells and whistles of more expensive models. Its energy efficiency helps to keep my utility bill lower.

Cracks in plastic around glass shelf, put super glue seems to be holding on one shelf. The other shelf plastic around glass come apart cant use the shelf at all. Hundred twenty five dollars for one shelf. Then I notice cracks on the inside of icebox back and sides. I never have put anything hot on the shelves to cause them to crack. My daughter bought me the refrigerator new for a Christmas present.

The refrigerator is reliable, expendable, and trendy. Right now the features I love because it’s a big improvement since my last refrigerator, and I can’t complain about the space. I have more space for food and dont have to depend on a whole freezer to store extra food. Also, with the extra space, it keeps my food fresh and cool instead of spoiling quicker than other refrigerators because of the lack of space. It’s also slim fit and tight storage which also keeps your food and beverages fresh over time. I love that the water is purified and I don’t have to buy a whole water filter system because with a system you have to replace every three months which can cost more money over time. When you can just buy a refrigerator with natural water filtration system and contain less contaminants than any tap water or water bottle brand you can find in the market or any stores out right now. The water is ph7 and up which means it’s no contaminants in the water and I don’t have to buy any filter and also my ice is already clean and purified because of the brand-new updated features. I was close to choosing Whirlpool but I chose Kenmore because of the reputation and how their customers was very pleased and happy to share their experiences with the brand free of choice. And in my opinion, Kenmore is similar to an smart refrigerators because of the up-to-date technology and have open USBs. It’s child and spill-proof because it stops upcoming spills from happening and protects other shelves from getting messy if it was to happened because previous refrigerators don’t have that security. If an spill happened everything gets wet, so I like the safety and precaution needs of the consumer.

Refrigerator has a noisy compressor, I like the LED lights, its very brightly lit and well organized. Door opens a little too fast but probably needs adjusting. I went with simplicity in that usually comes with the fewest problems. Replacement filters are reasonable too and very easy to replace, unlike my last Samsung fridge.

Lot better than most, lasts longer, energy saving, has lot of storage, doesnt take much room. I would recommend this product to anyone who hasnt had it. Seems to fit just about any size kitchen. I had a Kenmore refrigerator about 10 years ago when my kids were younger and we had a Sears charge card and I had no problems with it at all. I cant recall why we got rid of it but it was a great fridge.

It kept the stuff inside at cold temperature and kept it from spoiling quickly. It was easy to put in place. It was very easy to clean. It was able to keep a few gallons of fluids inside with good space left over for other things. There are a good amount of compartments to keep things organized. It is roomy and easy to move things around. The refrigerator looks nice and sleek. It fits in with just about any kitchen style without being underwhelming or over the top. It does not stain easily. The refrigerator is great for the price. It is very durable. It doesnt use up too much electricity while keeping everything in it cold.

We purchased this refrigerator less than three years ago. We had our first service call after 6 mos of ownership with a sensor and the freezer, the resistor defroster replaced. We then had to replace the freezer. My husband ordered the part and it came in used. He returned it for an exchange. The second one came in with a piece missing, which he was able to take off the broken one. Then the back panel froze up twice with a layer of ice under the bottom drawer. When this freezes, water flows out onto the floor. We unplugged it, defrosted it and raised the temperature. Just two weeks ago, it stopped getting cold. The Sears service person was out here today. They would have to order a new compressor and another part because there is a Freon leak. The service charge would be $393.After that could be fixed (2 weeks later) we would be looking at a new computer board to address the back panel freezing which would be $600. I have spoken with LG, and 4 departments through Sears. LG could not help because the name is Kenmore, although there is no dispute that it made by LG in Korea. The next four departments at Sears could not help because I have not purchased an extended warranty. The final department was the corporate level and the best they could do is offer Shop Your Way points. I know personally of two other people with the same product and the same issues. The service person stated that 2/3 of his calls were on this product. Sears is aware that there are problems with this LG refrigerator and are doing nothing about it. This panel should be part of a recall.

The Kenmore fridge worked great and a very good product. It was a compact size which was good for space. I could have gotten something else and Im glad I didnt!!! I truly was happy with what it was bought for. I wish I had a home to buy a fancy one though!!!

I was always aware that the Kenmore brand was considered among the top brands and the pricing was better than comparable brands. I could get the model I wanted for the price I was able to pay. The delivery was also free. I had the side by side Kenmore refrigerator model. I liked the feature that allowed you to get water through the door without opening the refrigerator. I liked the specially air controlled containers that kept these vegetables and fruits fresh longer. I liked the adjustable shelves which made it easier to position my various foods. Shelves were easy to remove and easy to clean. However, I would have liked more room in the freezer for larger frozen foods. I sometimes found that I could not fit a large turkey or cake into the freezer. I also found the freezer part harder to clean than the refrigerator and get into the small spaces. Other than that, I was very happy with my Kenmore refrigerator.

I have never had any problems with my Kenmore refrigerator. I had always had great performance. Have had for many years and it has been very reliable. Just the right size for my household. It fits perfectly with my kitchen space and has always been able to fit everything I need inside. My fridge is an older model so I dont really love the appearance. I have probably had it for a good 10 years or so. It is white but I would like to upgrade to a newer stainless steel version that includes a water dispenser. I am happy with the value. It was already in the house when I moved in and was bought by the previous owners. It has always worked great though.
