Very little problems with my Kenmore refrigerator. The only problem I did have which was my fault was a nick I put on the bottom shelfs metal that rusted. They told me to clean it and paint over it. That worked. Like I said, I would buy Kenmore because Sears is a company that stands behind their products and takes care of their customers. I do not know the exact size, but it was large enough to accommodate a family of seven people, three of them being children. The freezer could have been a little larger. The movable shelves helped also, especially if we had tall items to refrigerate. I recommend attaching a water filter to the ice maker if your water in your area is hard. We bought a white refrigerator, mostly because we know we will be keeping this refrigerator for a long time and colors seem to date the refrigerator. Also white matched our other appliances. I dont recommend buying appliances in trendy colors. They get so outdated so quickly. I learned this when the rage was turquoise and wished I didnt buy a color that ages the appliance. I recommend white, silver (stainless steel) or black. My Kenmore was worth everything we paid. I cannot remember how much we paid, but Sears has some tremendous sales and we probably bought it on special. At any rate we are happy with our Kenmore.

It was an innovative fridge that works great and keeps my food cold and fresh. It is stylish and looks great with my kitchen decor. Its stainless steel and is a side by side with a feature where I can control the temperature.

The product is amazing. I bought the freezer over 10 years and is still effectively working so good. I order it and it came very well. It was easy to setup and I was amaze how wonderful it was. The two side of the freezer was great. Keep my foods from spoiling and helps me a lot.

We have basic Kenmore refrigerators with no water connections and a self-defrosting top freezer. It performs very well, spacious and for all the years we had it, there has been no service calls.

Weve always had either Kenmore or Maytag refrigerators. Theyve always held up real well and we havent had any issues. In fact, our last one is very old but after we moved, we gave it to my sister because she needed a new one, and it works just as well as it did the day we bought it.

I have the Kenmore Elite French door model. It has more room in it than I have ever had in a refrigerator. You can see everything without having to move stuff around. Temperature controls are digital and show up on the top door frame. It will alarm if the doors are left open or if the temperature begins to rise. Great refrigerator.

My Kenmore Refrigerator was a floor model and it was on sale. The refrigerator is spacious and works to its capacity. The shelves can be adjusted. It had an overhead freezer and ice making machine. It fits in the wall space and it only stopped functioning once in four years. However, the bottom gaskets keep breaking and the freezer ices over sometimes. Also, I would make an extra meat compartment and would put a bigger thermometer in the back of the refrigerator so I can read it. Nevertheless, I am very pleased with the Kenmore refrigerator and it has met my initial expectations.

I have owned other appliances from other companies and would have issues after just a few months of owning the product. The biggest issue with other appliances that we have had is that it will stop cooling and our food would be ruined. As a mother of twins and a teenage daughter, this is a really big deal for us. We switched and since then, its been great. I dont have to worry about coming home to find that everything is ruined.We could use a bigger fridge since we are a large family but I think as long as we dont have to worry about our food being ruined, we are perfectly content. We have the typical type fridge. Freezer on top and fridge on the bottom... very similar to the fridges that our parents used as we were growing up just newer. We are not rich at all. We have twins and teens and that is enough to break the bank. We were very limited on how much we could spend on appliances. Considering we have gotten ours at a very affordable price and no issues, its priceless.

Kenmore is a top brand I trust because over the years I have purchased their appliances, they have work liked a pro. Kenmore is a market of solid constructed appliances you cant go wrong with. Nothing can change the best brand on the market, it has good history and value. It was priced Right and worked for my everyday needs. Other brands I have bought in the past have and cannot stand up to Kenmore brand. I still have my very first Kenmore in my garage as a second refrigerator and it still runs perfect. However, the Kenmore refrigerator was too small for my household and it did not have any other available colors to choose from. Saying that, I would purchase again if they had more sizes and choices for a reasonable price.

Just had a tech from Sears come over after a week to order a part (circuit board). Guess what? It doesnt match anymore as new Kenmore/Whirlpool parts are not backward compatible. I was told to throw this $3K ref on the curb side and get a new one as it is unlikely repairable. I have never had refrigerator break down like this that cannot be repaired or issues with parts. Leave alone I had to pay $85 for the service call twice with no benefit.

We bought this fridge new at a scratch and dent appliance center. It was delivered on September 23 and by January 7 it stopped working efficiently after 115 days. The service tech says it is a bad/leaking evaporator, so we are awaiting news of what will happen next. A Major inconvenience to say the least. We have gone to the dealer once already today and will need to return to negotiate what happens next. The warranty was only for 90 days, so hopefully we can work something out.

It gets things really cold and I have enjoyed it immensely. I would recommend this model to everyone and it has been so great for my family. It has multiple drawers. It has awesome freezer space. I have lots of room to store all my groceries and frozen items in. Definitely an upgrade from my parents hand me down model. It is sleek. Looks very nice. Looks sophisticated. It goes well with all my other kitchen furnishings. I absolutely love my refrigerator. It has been such a benefit for us as a family and I hope more people will go for this particular brand.

I have a Kenmore Refrigerator (model 253.6000), purchased 11 months ago by my husband for our garage. It has quit working twice, thawing all of the food in the freezer. There is no garage kit for this model and no information in the owners manual that informs the consumer that the unit will stop working in the summer and winter during extreme temperatures. I have been informed that it was manufactured by Frigidaire.

Keeps things fresh, cold and perfect Temps. It has never malfunctioned or has any issues whatsoever. It is the best refrigerator I have ever had thought my life. I would definitely recommend this anyone looking for a refrigerator. It has so much space on the inside you could fit a whole watermelon and full frozen turkey if you needed to. It leaves more room for everything that you could possibly need to fit. The sleek silver style has a glossy finish and is very cool and pleasing to the eye. It goes with any kitchen decor and works with any set up. The price was a little bit more than an average refrigerator but you are not purchasing a normal refrigerator. I recently bought a Kenmore refrigerator to be exact 5 months ago and its already not working! How is this possible? How can you spend your hard earned money on a product that will break down on you in less than 5 months? I called for repairs and was told why I didnt add a protection plan. WHY should I! I shouldnt have to worry about something so expensive breakdown on me so fast. After throwing away all the food that went bad I had to wait 4 days for a technician. I was greeted with a very smelly, rude and ignorant man that did nothing but tell me that he needed to order a motor and left.I called Sears Repair and was told I had to wait another 3-5 days for the motor to come in and then... Make an appointment for another technician to come in. So what do I do for food? Eat out a can for a week? Will I be reimburse for all the breakfast, lunch and dinners I have to pay for until they fix my broken down expensive new refrigerator? I am beyond disappointed with this issue. I will gladly forward my receipt if requested but at this time I do not have it. Item was bought at Sears (Cottman Plaza) in Northeast Philadelphia PA on 8/7/2016.

We bought our Kenmore Refrigerator July 2019 with a 1 year warranty. 6 months after warranty expired the refrigerator starting making a horrible noise, then stopped getting cold. I called my local repairman, he came looked at it and said even if he fixed it, it would break again in 6 months. So I called Sears to have a tech come out, he said it was the fan and would place an order for the part. I called sears every 2 weeks for 6 months to check status of my fan. Now I get a call from sears telling me they are refunding my money for the PART as they cannot get it. Now WHAT am I to do with this $2500.00 refrigerator that does not work and is only 2 years old.. They are not refunding my $2500.00 so now I have to spend more money to buy a new Refrigerator... Wont be a KENMORE thats for sure! So disappointed with Samsung as they actually make this refrigeration, Sears for leading me on for 6 months and Kenmore for not backing what they sell. What a waste of money!

My family had several Kenmore over the years. We have one in the garage, we had in our kitchen for years and its still going strong after 20 plus years now. I dont know what wed do without the 2nd fridge and a dorm size isnt big enough. The older one in the garage we use for overflow and drinks. Its great for keeping watermelon, cold and not taking tons of spaces in the kitchen fridge. If Kenmore makes products that last that long theyre doing something right.

Have had for two years. Has wonderful climate control and space capacity is excellent, first fridge of this kind with freezer at bottom. It is a great feature to have and wont go back to side by side doors. Yes so far have not had any issues what so ever regarding storage capacity and are taking care of a family of four, the interchangeable shelves are another benefit thats adds value to this type of fridge freezer. The appearance of the fridge is a sleek design which also made it an attractive buy as it fit perfectly with our kitchen design, it is also easy to clean and maintain when it comes to hand prints. Considering size appearance and many stable shelving along with frost features it is a good value for price when considering all these aspects. Would not trade it for another model.

It always works very well - we never had a problem with it. It is small for the growing family but it works great all the time. We have never had a problem with it and it runs well. Great, never worried that we would open the door to spoiled food. The refrigerators size is a downfall with a growing family. We usually use it as a second fridge to have enough room for the familys food. Always looks great. Easy to wipe down, easy to clean soap and water. Great looking all the time. The kids can get handprints and mud dirt and grime all over and it still wipes down with paper towels easy. The price we paid for the fridge and how long weve owned it has been a tremendous value. The price at the time was a bit over what we could afford at the time but we knew it was something that would last quite some time and it has been well worth it.

The refrigerator functions well. My problem is that it sometimes freezes towards the back end of the cold storage section. However, its other functions work fairly well. The fridge is more than enough to store my groceries and leftovers on a daily basis. Its adjustable shelves are also helpful in storing foods, and its multiple drawers make storing lumpy veggies and fruits easy. The fridge is very quality looking and its silvery front is great for a modern home. The sides are also magnetic, so its customizable if one wishes to do so. The outward appearance of the fridge is quite impressive and should garner a good market value. The interior is spacious looking as well and deserves a good price. However its flaws as prior mentioned detract its value for me.

It does what its supposed to do and has for over 20 years. Theres really nothing else to say. It does what a refrigerator is supposed to do at a very reasonable original cost. What they cost today I have no idea. Have not checked prices any time recently. Have not had the need to.

The Kenmore refrigerator is a pretty good appliance to have in our house. It keeps our food really fresh, the food doesnt lose its taste. We save a lot of money because the food lasts longer than it would have with my old refrigerator. My bill is also lower, I noticed ever since the Kenmore fridge has been in use. I find the fridges temperature setting easy to use.

Very satisfied with performance. Would recommend this to others. Was always happy with this. Would buy next time one of these. In the future will hope this is modernized some more. The refrigerators size is a good because everything fits well in there with plenty of room for everything else. The appearance for this refrigerator is excellent because it looks pretty and cleans real well. I always get compliments on this refrigerator. Purchased a Kenmore Elite 7957205.110 in March of 2012. 13 months after purchasing, received an error 15 - cost over $500 to repair. Tech explained that the CPU wasnt designed properly to maintain the proper fan speed and that the new card would correct that flaw. Now only 20 months later, Im having the same issues. The KitchenAid fridge it replaced worked for 12 years without a problem. Im not investing anymore money into the crap. Time to replace it. No more Kenmore/LG appliances for me.

I purchased a top-of-the-line Kenmore refrigerator in February 2013. On May 26, 2013, after being away for a couple of days, I came home to water on the floor and my refrigerator not working. An error message came up on the display. When I called Kenmore, they told me they couldnt have a repairman out for a couple of days. I lost hundreds of dollars of food. The repairman showed up last night and said it needed over $500 in parts and it would take 10 days to get them. He told us we should buy their extended warranty because he gets a lot of complaints about these new refrigerators that have a lot of electronics. They want over $700 for a four-year warranty. I think I got a lemon and deeply regret buying it. Why would I want to pay $4,000 for a refrigerator that breaks down spoiling all my food and a tremendous inconvenience and then be asked to spend another $700 to make sure the refrigerator works for at least 4 years?! Sears needs to go bankrupt. It is the last thing I will buy from them!

We purchased this Kenmore Elite refrigerator model # 795.72483.411 from Sears 3 1/2 years ago. 2 years after we bought it the compressor died. At that time we were covered under our 3 year extended warranty, the compressor was replaced and we received a $300 check for the food we lost in the process. I can still hear the repairmans ominous words as he left the house, this would have cost you over $800!14 months later, 2 months AFTER the warranty expired, the freezer was no longer freezing, the ice maker went silent and it was to be 2-3 weeks before the Sears appliance repairman could service the dying refrigerator. I called around to different appliance dealers and 1 store did not repair Kenmores, another gave me a heavy sigh and said it was not fixable but I was able to employ one fellow recommended through Angies List who juiced it up after soldiering a tube he thought might be the source of the leak, charged me $200 and I never heard from him again nor was he reachable when it went dry 3 months later (although he guaranteed his work for 6 months).We are 4 weeks out from the second refilling with R134a and I just climbed out from behind this failing machine to write this review. Ironically we happened to have saved our last refrigerator, a 30 y/o Kenmore, which was banished to the basement when we purchased this one and all of our food has been moved downstairs once again.

Easily the best refrigerator that Ive ever owned. Very neutral color for any kitchen design. Adequate spacing, easily able to store everything we need. The way the shelving is situated allows for anything that we use on a daily basis. Id recommend to anyone. The design is the sort that would stylishly go into any kitchen style. Pricing is where Im safe buying a refrigerator. Would like to see more options.

Fits just about anything. Very adjustable and runs quiet. Doesnt use too much energy. Frozen pizzas dont always fit. Temperature stays constant, no need to adjust. Ive stored pretty much every possible grocery item in mine, from bottles of various sizes to large pizza boxes to holiday leftovers. The freezer side is a bit compact but will hold most boxed or wrapped items. Nothing shouts modern and sleek like a stainless steel finish. Easy to clean, shiny, and nearly futuristic. Looks like a restaurant quality unit. Very great deal. Even though I got mine while it was on sale, I would gladly have paid full price for mine. Worth every penny I spent on it. Once this unit eventually gives out, Ill have more than gotten my moneys worth.

We have never had any problems with this refrigerator. It has always kept things cold very quiet running. Sometimes I have opened the door just to make sure it was still running. Never had any problems with the freezer, always keeps things frozen. Love the vegetable crisper keeps everything crisp. The size is right for us. Even when our children were home we still had plenty of room. I like how the shelves are adjustable and how easy it is to adjust them so no matter what I need to put in there I know it will fit. Great appearance. Looks really great in my kitchen. I love how easy it is to clean. Just a quick wipe down and I am done. Love the white color, not too shiny but not dull, really stands out. I feel that it is a great value. I cannot remember what we paid for it but I know that we got a very good deal because it has lasted a long time and we have never had to throw anything out because of spoilage.

I have always trusted Kenmore and was able to purchase at a reasonable price. My family wanted a standard fridge without a bunch of extra features and were able to find one at a reasonable price. I believe it was under 400 dollars.

This refrigerator keeps all my food nice and cold. Have not had any maintenance or replacements done on it. This is an excellent size refrigerator. Im able to comfortable go grocery shopping and not worry about if there is enough room in my refrigerator. It fits everything I need for all the meals and snacks for the week. This is a nice sleek designed refrigerator and it fits perfectly in with all my other kitchen appliances, as well as it add a special element to my home decor. I am very pleased with this purchase. This is an amazing valued refrigerator. One of the best purchases I have made so far. I dont see myself replacing this refrigerator for a very long time, and even if I have to I would replace with the same make and model.

It was good until it had to be replaced. It was one of my first refrigerators and it was nothing fancy. I got a side by side refrigerator the next time I got one but this one worked for many many years. It was a little small but still fully functional and it didnt take up too much space which is always good to have. I liked the big freezer personally because I eat a lot of frozen foods. Plain and white but clean and simple is how I would describe it. It had a good place to place magnets on the front and it wasnt nice enough that you were afraid of damaging it. I dont think I could have sold it to someone even in a garage sale but it served our purposes well which was primarily to keep our food cold or chilled.

The refrigerator was large enough to hold my food and had compartments to organize fruits and dressings. The freezer was large as well. The size was large enough to fit large food items and small items were compartmentalized in the refrigerator. The set up for the refrigerator was helpful. The refrigerator was sleek looking and blended in well with the rest of my kitchen appliances. I liked the leaner design and it was not clunky in my kitchen. I believe it was pricey but I bought it a while ago. I have had less expensive refrigerators but they did not last as long as this refrigerator.

We purchased a Sears Kenmore Side by Side refrigerator because the Kenmore name has always been known to be of good quality that lasts for years. Ours started leaking out the front of the ice/water dispenser about 5 years ago, even when it was turned off and unplugged. It in turn caused rust stains on the entire door underneath the dispenser. I have cleaned it off but it keeps coming back - it is not plugged in and we are no longer using it. I finally removed the square piece around the panel to find out what I could. I found out that the area around the dispenser under the plastic panel had eroded away. Now the door is ruined and pieces of it fall off if you try to put the square piece back on the panel. The refrigerator still works well, but we dont have the water hooked up to use the dispenser. Its too embarrassing when guests come over and there is rust running all down the front of the refrigerator.

Love having a white refrigerator. It brightens the room. Great buy for under $600.00.The large bins are great for storing a lot of different food items. Its so small on the outside but looks can be deceiving. This unit is bigger inside. With a spacious top mount freezer and frost-free. Giving me more time with the family. My unit is a white Kenmore 20 cu. ft. single door top freezer refrigerator. Very simple and efficient food storage. Easy to clean, slide out, glass storage shelves. Large door bins that hold the large gallon containers for more shelf space. A great purchase for under $600.00. With energy efficient rates Saving us in electricity each year by using less energy when compared with like models elsewhere. In real money that is about $55.00 a year. So in 12 years this unit will pay for itself.

The only reason I chose this Kenmore refrigerator was because it was cheap. I bought it used since I know it would be cheaper than buying it at the store. I spend only 500 dollars on it and I really like it. As long as its not making my food bad I am happy.

My husband and I bought our Kenmore two door freezer drawer bottom stainless Steel refrigerator at Sears. Within a month we had a small rust spot in one of the doors. Soon after the plastic drawers and other pieces within the refrigerator began to break - this is just my husband and I using it. No children and no abuse. Kenmore used to be a good quality name but unfortunately it is now made with cheap thin plastic parts and alright it was their higher end model. It is falling apart! We feel like we were robbed. We will never buy another Kenmore product!

Kenmore products last a long time. It is still working after nearly 20 years. I have since moved the refrigerator to the garage since I purchased a new one when I renovated the kitchen and appliances. This refrigerator is still working in the garage as a beer fridge and is still going strong. This is a smaller refrigerator which is good for a couple. It does not hold a large amount for a large family, but it has been reliable. The refrigerator is a cream color and it once matched all the appliances in my kitchen when we first purchased the house. I have had to replace all the appliances except the refrigerator. The refrigerator is still working strong and is very valuable in the garage (man cave). I do not know if there is truly any monetary value, but it is still valuable to me.

Keeps all the cold my food and is quiet and low on energy bills. It is large and looks great in my kitchen and all my friends and neighbors come and admire it and want to know where I got it. The fridge is big to hold turkey, fruit snacks and milk. It has drawers and is easy to clean too. I pull out the shelves and clean them weekly without an issue all the time. The stainless steel is pretty cool and the best thing that is the price of the fridge was affordable to make it pretty and fit in with the rest of the kitchen. The value was good and the warranty was long enough for me and the company is that easy for a great price, i comparison shopped too and ensured that it was good.

It did the job fine, I got what I needed out of it but it was in my apartment. The space of it was decent enough and I dont have much complaints. Looks-wise, it was also cute. Not huge but works well for 1-2 people. I think that it worked fine for the apartment that I was in but not for a small family. I personally had to upgrade mine to fit the amount of people living in the home. It was not a bad looking refrigerator and I personally would use it again if it was just me. There is nothing wrong with this fridge looks-wise or use-wise. Not a bad value at all, it got me through what I needed it for! I honestly would recommend it to other people who are looking for something pleasing and useful but affordable.

I can say its a great product. My family bought it for me and I was quite surprised. It can fit my needs since I live alone. I love how it works... how it keeps the food cold and freezes whats necessary. I highly say Im quite pleased and I wouldnt have it any other way. I would truly recommend the product. No service calls concerning refrigerator, self-defrost feature performs extremely well. Interior is spacious with adjustable shelves. Would recommend to family and friends as a dependable appliance. The adjustable shelves are a convenience I enjoy based on different sizes of containers used for refrigeration. Exterior is easy to clean with very little effort required. The streamline handles make it ideal for almost any design style. Would recommend for spaces that are not large enough for the side-by-side models. Regular price of appliance is reasonable but would look for discount or sale to obtain a better cost. Sales people are knowledgeable about appliances and any additional promotional sales.

Bought a Kenmore Refrig in 3/2011. Every year the refrig goes out multiple times and the tech comes and fixes it. This year 2014 a Sears Tech has been to my home 8 times to repair the refrig - last time was August 2014. Today is 10/15/2014 and my refrig went out again last night - called Sears and was informed no available tech until 10/28/2014. Can someone up me! I have lost over a $1000.00 worth of food this year.

I purchased a Kenmore Refrigerator September 2011. It is Jan 2015 and repairman is telling me compressor has failed on this product for which I spent $1838.66 cash. Who would think after only 3 yrs this would occur, my 15 y.o refrigerator was still working when Sears delivered this piece of big metal box!!! and took the old one away. I am seeing online that this is happening to quite a number of consumers, some compressors are even failing at 2 yrs and less. Why is Consumer Affairs and/or the Consumer Protection Agency letting Sears/Kenmore get away with this? Shouldnt there be a class action lawsuit against a manufacturer who is selling a product knowing it is failing like this? I have spoken to several people and supervisors at Sears repair today and each has tried to show me with the Well we offered you a resolution, the resolution is to spend 1/3rd ($600) the cost of the refrigerator to let Sears repair it!!! (what a joke/gimmick) ...and being told I should have bought the protection warranty. If I would have thought for a moment a Sears refrigerator would fail the major part of its works in 3 years, most manufacturers give 5 yrs, I would have gone elsewhere to purchase. My thought was by the time I would need repairs I would be ready for a newer model anyway. My mothers Kenmore is now over 30 yrs old, my sisters is over 10. I will never buy another Sears product and will be sure to inform and warn everyone in my social media circle that Sears is no longer the company we grew up with and not to purchase their products because they do not stand behind them and will rip you off for more money on any appliance you buy from them..

Kenmore has always been a great product with great design. Very dependable and their repair service was superior. Sad how things have changed. Im in the market for a new refrigerator as my Kenmore is almost 20 years old but still works very well!!

Very efficient and quiet and also very easy to use with little or no help at all. Its great. I will/wish all of your appliances worked as quietly as that brings to memory when my fridge went kaput. You can fit pots and pans and skillets and soil washers. It also will allow you to put in coolers if theyre not of great size and does get those clean especially after camping and fishing. It has a really Sleek look. Very small in size and fits in the smallest Corner in my kitchen but still is very easy to access. It was the best one that we saw for sale at the time especially for the small size. Besides having a very Sleek look and being small enough to fit in the corner of my kitchen the value seems fantastic as it has a really new look although it is not too old. I really do love it.

Only problem I have had is with the ice maker, but in all fairness, I have had the same problem with all the refrigerators I have owned. Otherwise, this refrigerator has been excellent. There is ample freezer space with the double drawers.

Kenmore was my choice over other refrigerator brands because it is well known and extremely reliable. I have read multiple positive reviews and my apartment came with one initially. I like that this model refrigerator is extremely cold, and has ice and water dispenser. The freezer keeps things ice cold and nothing gets too frosty. I like the efficiency as well. Doesnt make any weird or loud noises. Very quiet. But I would make the refrigerated side larger, or larger compartments for juice and milk, or tall items.

I bought a brand new Kenmore 795 silver front, freezer top/fridge bottom unit in June, fully warrantied. It went out today (quit cooling) and they not only dont seem concerned about such a quick malfunction, they say they dont work on Sundays, are booked on Monday, and cant get out until Tuesday. Its very frustrating to lose a weeks worth of groceries when the warranty proclaims Call anytime, day or night. This is something to consider before buying from Sears or Kenmore.

The refrigerator has performed without problems for the past year and a half. The only caveat I have is that the ice machine will freeze up occasionally if the freezer door is left open too long, but it is easy to fix although the ice will get all over the floor when removing the ice bucket. The size is adequate for me and my wife. We entertain occasionally and have never needed an ice chest. I always like more space but havent missed not having a larger refrigerator. I like the stainless steel finish very much and it fits right in with my other kitchen appliances made by Frigidaire. The doors are easy to clean and the shelves pull out easily. The refrigerator looks great and is called Elite. That is a good advertising hook (it impressed me). The unit looks great inside and out. I recommend the looks a lot.

We bought this Kenmore Elite refrigerator (74093) made by LG in May 2016. In September 2017 it quit working. We have a home warranty through AHS. Their technicians have made 6 trips to our home and replaced 4 parts in the unit. It still does not work. Sears service is scheduled to come out Nov. 3, a month after we made the request. We have had to throw out $300 worth of food and still dont have a working refrigerator. The latest technician says these LG french door refrigerators have a high failure rate and he does not recommend buying one. We need either (1) to have this unit repaired permanently or (2) to have the unit replaced with a new one that does not have the same problem rate. Somebody please help!

For the price it was at the time (there was a sale when I went to take a look at it), the space and build of this unit was great for my budget. Its basic and I like that because I dont have to worry so much about maintenance with fancy features. I can display photos and its easy to clean. Very well in keeping things cool and stored. The freezer is just enough space for all my long term storage needs and the energy saving feature is a big help. Also, it holds all my groceries and snacks brought in by my family and friends. Its a huge help around the holidays when I got to cook a lot.

I dont experience any performance problem. The refrigerator function is outstanding, energy saving, and good performance, is a recommended refrigerator. Excellent, no big size but not small, easy to moving in kitchen, good as other refrigerator of other brands, perfect for apartments. I got a Kenmore fridge and its less than a year and a half old and Ive had guys from Sears out here working on it 8 diff times and its broke down again. Big money into this thing like 3699.00 and its junk.

Sears, led by Eddie Lampert, steals your money and gives you when the runaround when their refrigerator fails in less than 3 years multiple times. They buy their garbage from LG (LITERALLY GARBAGE) that is made so poorly that Russian manufacturers laugh in mocking hysteria at how unreliable yet expensive these refrigerators are.You will lose thousands of dollars in tossed away food because the refrigerator fails again and again and again and again. Mind you, you paid nearly $4000 for the privilege of owning utter trash. If the local Sears wasn’t all camerad up, I’d drop this stainless steel turd in front of their store. These refrigerators are absolutely 100% designed to fail. No engineer would want his/her name attached to such a failure.

I like the way the Kenmore ref stays cold and that it is very quiet. It has a lot of space in the refrigerator and on the door shelves. The freezer is great also. Overall I am very pleased with my Kenmore refrigerator. It has worked very well for me except that the shelves arms fall off, the doors dont want to stay shut at all times, hard to find light bulbs to replace it, ice maker dont work, not enough storage in the freezer and not enough drawer space. I also dislike the color. But it has never gone out on me and Ive never had to replace anything major on it.

I just simply love it. A lot of space for all the things you need for a big family. The freezer has all the shelves you need to select the meat, vegetables, fresh and frozen. A good ice maker.

Kenmore fridge not working after 2 year. I call customer Service then came technician they send he did diagnosis. He took for that 160 dollar and then to replace the part 1144 dollar but is not fair to pay 1144. I will buy new one but kenmore worst company. Thanks.

I spent $2800 on a new Kenmore Elite French door with bottom freezer. At 18 months it stopped cooling/freezing. The warranty is 12 months so I was not happy. I called to Sears home service and it took 3 WEEKS to get a tech out and I had to pay for a service call. He diagnosed the issue that it was a compressor and said it would cost $435 in labor since the compressor had a 5 year warranty. It took ANOTHER 3 WEEKS to get the tech to come out to replace the compressor which he did. He found out that the 1st tech misdiagnosed and the 2nd tech said it was the main circuit board. He needed to order and it would be an additional $269. Guess what... ANOTHER 3 WEEKS to get yet 3rd tech to come out to install the new circuit board. I will keep you all posted in 3 weeks.

I dont have a Kenmore refrigerator at this time, but I had one a few years back. It held up well, and was comparable to any Frigidaire, or other refrigerator I have had over the years.

A great fridge, that is easy to clean. Never had the freezer become iced over. Only thing I would have done different is to get the fridge with the built in water and ice dispenser. But if you dont need that, then this is the fridge you want. It does everything for our family of four, but sometimes wish the freezer was a little larger to fit larger amounts of beef. But this is why we have a stand alone freezer. We like to buy half sides of beef. I love the stainless steel look of the fridge and how easy it is to clean. I will never buy another fridge that isnt stainless steel. This is the best. Beautiful. Best bang for the buck. Bigly! Best looking fridge with the best features at the best price. Number one fridge on the market in my view.

Very useful for me and my family with our day to day needs in the kitchen. Keeps our food fresh longer with the compartment space with its self temperature setting zones. Love the air filters design and the roll draw in the freezer. Oh the showcase door is awesome too.

Keep food chilled in the fridge and frozen in the freezer. No unexpected problems. Ice and water maker worked. Large area of space for fruits and vegetables. Space for milk and large jugs of ice tea. Space for containers in the door like Mayo, jelly, yogurt, etc... It was a little bigger than the average sized refrigerator, but still fit nicely in my kitchen. Was easy to find a suitable place to move it if I decide to change the kitchen around. Easy to clean up and revealing its shine through each cleaning. Great finish holding up throughout Myrtle cleanings and messes. Would recommend to friends. Large freezer space with ice maker. Plenty of space by separating shelves. 2 doors compartments separate the fridge from the freezer by a split door. Quality built - well worth what you pay for the product.

Plenty of shelf space. It is an attractive looking unit. Has gray color and has freezer compartment and larger regular cooling compartment. It is not too tall so we can store light things on top of it. It has excellent value. After a careful use of even five to ten years it commands a very good resale value. I never had any part go bad even after prolonged use.

Its a good basic refrigerator. Nothing too fancy but good enough to deal with our everyday life. Not good if you have a large family or entertain a lot, as you will run out of room very fast. Its good enough for a family of 4. If you entertain a lot or have people who looove food, get a bigger fridge. Otherwise, this is good enough. Its plain so it wont stand out too much if you live in a crappy place. Can decorate it with magnets or drawings etc. Easy to clean the outside too. It was a good price I suppose. The fancier you go, the more broke you will be.

Not as good as my current washer but it lasted a few years for the price we paid. Had better luck with it than our Kenmore fridge. Not sure I would buy brand again unless it came with a longer warranty at no cost.

I had a new house built and the Kenmore Refrigerator was one of the models that the builder offered. I like that the Kenmore Refrigerator has a big storage and easy to clean. It also holds gallon jugs in the door and the coils do not hold the dust in the system outside making it a cleaner running refrigerator. The refrigerator runs great and still does.

These units are a separate matched pair, Kenmore Elite ref and freezer. I purchased these units in Jan. 2011 but didnt plug them until Sept. 2011 because I remodeled the kitchen. Neither unit worked properly. From the start, the freezer would not get below 22 deg. The repairs finally got the freezer working. The ref has never gotten below 39 deg. with temp control on 7. The compressor has been replaced, thermostat, the timer and then rechecked at another appointment but it still will not cool. On 24 Nov., it was 48 deg, on the 25th, 42 deg. Today it is 40. deg. I have had at least 7 or 8 appointments for these units. On Nov. 24, 2012, I had to purchase another Kenmore ref as a back up because I cannot depend on this unit, which I could not afford because I am on a fixed income (disabled). I talked to lemon service, 1 800 927 7836, today. Their service records are not accurate. One comment from the Tech repairman stated I didnt want any more service. This is not correct. He said he didnt know what else to do. I need to be contacted about more info. Please.

It was okay. We had it for six years, then we got a new one. There is not much more I can say about a refrigerator I had more than twenty years ago. At least, not enough to come up with one hundred eighty characters to describe it. We bought a used refrigerator. We used it for six years. Later on we needed a larger one, so we bought it and traded the old Kenmore in for it.

I purchased a Sears refrigerator in late August 2010. Of course, it is a Kenmore product. I had my fridge for 22 months in working order. I paid $1,355.98 and for a fridge to last that long is ridiculous! The compressor went in my fridge, which had to be faulty or a lemon. Im a single mother and that is a lot of money for me to come up with. Unfortunately, I never purchased the extended warranty which at the time was close to $300.00. I lost $200.00 at least of food in my fridge and to repair my fridge will cost me $400.00 for the part and $300.00 for the service. Unbelievable that Kenmore and anyone working at Sears can stand behind this product and actually write on their invoice, The brands you want at the store you trust. I contacted the service center and the store I purchased at. They would not do anything to compensate for this or even meet me halfway on the part, I would have considered repairing it. So, its GE product for me from now on. I will never purchase anything from Sears again. If I bought a $20.00 clothing item and it ripped, I would definitely have no problem bringing it back. But a large appliance after 22 months of purchase and for no one to seem to care at Sears blows my mind!

I like Kenmore because it’s made by Sears and this white, wide top, side by side, frost free refrigerator is next day free delivery. Its with a 10 yr warranty which is the best deal Ive seen in years.

I had the same issue as the other complainants. I bought a Kenmore refrigerator in 2008. Four weeks ago, the compressor went out. It took two weeks to get someone from Sears to come out and evaluate the fridge. After this, it took 10 additional days for someone to come out and repair it. My family had to live out of coolers in the backyard for nearly a month. We paid nearly $200 dollars in bags of ice. The refrigerator was finally fixed (for the time being). I bought a Kenmore because my parents have always bought this brand. Sears has always been a trusted name as I grew up. It is unfortunate that the appliance has become so unreliable and customer service has been forgotten. I will never buy a Sears appliance again.

My Kenmore refrigerator freezes food and insulin even when its thermostat is set as 40 degrees. I have had several repair calls and appointments on this since it was bought in 2009 and this issue is still not resolved. The Customer Service department has told me that my warranty is invalid (which it is not). The customer service today went as far as hanging up on my husband while he was complaining about our refrigerator problem, freezing his insulin.

As a fridge keeping food cold/frozen its fine, BUT heres the drawbacks. 1. The egg keeper is TOO SHORT to put a full carton eggs in it! What idiot designs an egg keeper that doesnt keep a standard carton of eggs. So I cut off the end of the carton. 2. The door comes too close to the floor and whacks your foot if wearing sandals or barefoot. 3. The door magnet was designed for a gorilla. You need to REALLY yank on it.

Very cheap on electric and very cold. Works great. Would buy again. Love the ice maker in the door. Would recommend to anyone to buy. Great refrigerator. Very big refrigerator. For a family of three, we have plenty room and a lot more room left that we dont uses which is great. It is stainless steel from top to bottom. It is a double door refrigerator and has a ice maker in one of the door of the refrigerator that is black. We paid fifteen hundred for our refrigerator two years ago and it is well worth its value. Got it at Lowes and they delivered it and put it in for us.

Kenmore has a good reputation as quality purchase. It never let me down before. Every time we have needed a new appliance the first thing my husband does is go to Sears and looks at Kenmore. I was replacing old appliances as they broke trying to get all white and the fridge was the first one I was able to do that. I like the filtered ice and water dispenser, side by side doors, moveable shelves, electric controls. It always kept food cold or frozen. The freezer had lots of shelves that were adjustable but I wish it could have been wider. I would have gotten a bigger one if had room for it.

Everything worked as advertised. The freezer froze everything and the fridge part kept a constant temp. Overall a good appliance at a reasonable price. I have no suggestions to improve it. 18 cubic feet is great for a one or two person household. A large family might find it too small. A larger one might encourage people to buy too many groceries just to fill it up. It looked fine for a basic refrigerator. Neither good or bad but just average. The outer surfaces were easy to keep clean. I have no complaints. A very good value especially since Kenmore appliances are known to last forever. I would buy another one the next time I need one. One of the better values in the market.

Poor Ice Maker performance on our Kenmore model 106.5113 Refrigerator (Purchased April 21st, 2015). We are dissatisfied with the quantity of ice our new Kenmore refrigerator produces. We called Sears for a repair technician to come out and look at the unit. The technician explained the Sears no longer offers a repair service for these units and he was a third party contractor. He couldnt find anything wrong with the unit and said the new unit is not as good as the old ones. He suggested the accelerator option to force the refrigerator to make ice faster. I told him we tried that and even in accelerator mode, it only fills about one-half of the ice bin in twenty-four hours. We usually do without ice about midday. Our last Kenmore lasted 24 yrs and until the day it died it still would fill the ice bin in less than 24 hours. I wish I would have had it repaired now instead of this piece of junk. His only advice was to use accelerator mode. This is an indoor ice maker and it is very inferior to our previous machine if thats the case. We use to fill a small ice chest with our old machine and it would be full again in a few hours. I dont ever remember this thing ever being full. I gave their service department a poor review so they called me back for a follow-up and said that Sears didnt make Kenmore anymore and I would have to contact the manufacturer. They said this was a Whirlpool unit, gave me their number. I called Whirlpool and they said they didnt make the unit either. Im going back to the store for a refund. No wonder Sears is struggling these days. What a nightmare!

It runs quietly and holds a lot of food. I love not having to bend over just to grab something out of the refrigerator. It holds all we need for two people and we have a lot of leftovers. We like how much can go into the door shelves including both large and small bottles. The Kenmore refrigerator looks clean and sharp. It has kept its appearance and looks just as good as the day it was put in. We have it in a recessed area and it blends in nicely. It has lasted a long time and no problems and that makes it have a lot of value in my mind. I would definitely recommend it.

We have had this model for years and have never experienced any kinds of issues with it. We love it and could not imagine switching to any other brand. It has enough space to fit everything you could ever need. The shelves are adjustable making it easy to customize whatever you need to keep things cool. The produce compartment is so great. Has definitely stood the test of time. We purchased ours in white and feared that the color would become dingy but it has not. It is easy to clean any spills and stains. Worth every penny! Has lasted for such a long time that it pays for itself in the long run. Requires very little maintenance costs other than replacing the filter from time to time, but that is a very minimal expense.

I had it some time ago, but I dont think I had any major problems with it. I replaced it just to upgrade my kitchen. At that time I think the fridge was still working fine. But we really needed a bigger one and decided to get a side-by-side with a bigger freezer. That was about four years ago. We had to sell the house due to a family situation. We moved into a house owned by my mother which already had an adequate refrigerator which is not a Kenmore. But if we do need another one, I will definitely look into getting another Kenmore. I believe they are well-built, they seem to not to require much repairs and they definitely last a long time.

Ice maker mold cracked and calling Kenmore customer service, they said I would need a new ice maker. The plastic mold ($10 at most), cannot be purchased separately. Cost: $75 for the replacement unit. If we extrapolate, the next step will be for them to require replacement of the refrigerator if the interior light bulb needs replacing.

Just a couple years ago we bought a Kenmore Elite side-by-side refrigerator/freezer and it worked great for about a year and last year we had to spend over $700 to have a part replaced and now we had to spend $95 to have someone come look at it because it quit working again and they said now it is leaking coolant. Had I known we were going to have to put so much money we would’ve just bought another brand and saved our self the hassle of continually having someone at our house to check our refrigerator. The expenses that we’ve paid to have things fixed don’t even include the amount of money that we’ve thrown away due to lost food when it quit working both times.

When we purchased our Kenmore elite refrigerator model # 795.77563600 Serial # 603KR02266 we were told it was top of the line. Little did we know what they really meant was top of the line to constantly break! The first thing to go was the fan, then the motor, then the ice maker froze solid and was leaking water all over. The glass that goes on top of the veggie pull out drawers shattered and the plastic frame of the veggie drawers cracked right in the middle! We still had warranty so everything was replaced or repaired. I refused to pay $500.00 to keep the warranty for another year and being everything had just been replaced/repaired, I didnt anticipate any more problems. Boy was I wrong! The seals around the doors cracked and tore, and the ice maker froze up. Literally its ONE BIG PIECE OF ICE!Then, one day I was sitting in the living room when I heard water splashing. I went to the kitchen and the water dispenser was spitting out water as if someone had a glass pressing on the water dispenser lever!! I thought the dispenser had somehow become stuck. However after I pressed it over and over trying to unstick it, the water didnt stop. I had to open the doors to get it to stop spurting out water! I had to leave the doors open because every time I closed them the water would start coming out again. My husband finally got home and had to disconnect the water at the back of the refrigerator! We are amazed that this thing is actually still working (keeping the temps. accurate in both freezer and refrig.) I have NEVER been so disappointed in any product as I am in Kenmore Elite!To this day I refuse to purchase anything from Sears because of the bad service and more importantly the HORRIBLE PRODUCT we were sold! All Sears had to say was, The only thing we can do is send our repair guys out, but youre going to have to pay for their services because you didnt purchase our service contract! NO THANK YOU!!! Id rather save the 500 bucks and purchase a new refrig. somewhere else being that the older the appliance, the higher the price goes on the service contracts!!! What gets me even more is that Im still paying for this overpriced piece of junk!

Highly effective for use indoors and during seasonal celebrations. It has enough space to store up food items. It produces ice for making smoothies and iced cold water when needed. Easy to clean and efficient in cooling and freezing produce. Two door compartments. With ice block and cold water compartment on the outside for the production of ice and cold water. The fridge compartment is inevitable at all times. Very useful for the storage system required for produce. The height and width are just as needed for the purposes for which it is designed. The color of my refrigerator is bronze and shiny. The handle is white and it is made of a durable plastic handle. All of these add to the overall satisfactory needs of my refrigerator. Well, my refrigerator is of a great value in the interest of my household and kitchen appliances. All that is needed easily fits in and we do not struggle with not enough space at all.

Hi, I hope you are able to help me. I could not find any other way of reaching Sears to get an answer. We just purchased a refrigerator at Sears in the Volusia Mall, Daytona Beach, FL. We then went to our local small Sears store (Palm Coast, FL) to get a part that we needed for the install. The gal at the Palm Coast store asked why we had not purchased from them. We did go there first but they did not have the model on the floor that I needed to see. It was only available in Daytona. Which by the way, the local store would not tell me. They wanted me to look at a picture. My question is this: The gal at the local store said since we did not purchase the refrigerator from them they would not answer any questions for us or help us in any way. WHAT? I thought Sears was Sears no matter where you were located. We will never use them for anything again but I want clarification of the information we were given. Is it true that you can only seek assistance from the store you purchased an appliance from? What happens if you move? Seems very fishy to me. Thanks so much for listening. Im very happy with the Kenmore refrigerator. I have owned it for many years and its great on performance, its energy efficient, and it keeps food very fresh and cold. It is standard size and quite roomy on the inside, but if you are like me, you always need that extra bit of space and I wish it was just a tad larger, so I will step up next time. Its quite nice-looking for an average refrigerator, but does not have all the bells and whistles of newer, fancier models, like the chrome finish and water attachment in front. Its a very good value and as good in comparison to newer, more stylish models.

Fridge, Freezer, and ice maker all work wonderfully. We havent had any problems with it except for the ice getting stuck once. It fixed itself. The Fridge part is a great size. The freezer is a little small for how much frozen food that we buy, but we have a mini-freezer for what doesnt fit in the main freezer. Fridge is nice looking. Its sleek and well put together, a great addition to our kitchen. I would recommend the look for most kitchen styles. We got our fridge for a good price for how well its worked and how great it looks. Im super happy. Would recommend for people searching for a good deal.

The performance of the refrigerator was wonderful. It was black and easy to clean. The inside was white and the shelving and drawers were nice. Also, it fit all the groceries, snacks and meats with ease. It worked and kept things cold for over ten years without any issues. The value was perfect. It was good. Food was cold. It did not make loud noise. I was happy until stop working one day. The color matched everything else in my kitchen. Ice machine was not too loud and ice was perfect every time. It was a bit bigger than my old one but it fit well in my small kitchen. Inside it was great for everything I had. I shop every 3 weeks so I buy a lot for a family of 5. It was a nice color and it matched everything else in my kitchen. I would like it better a bit darker so it did not look dirty so quick. It was a bit pricey like all the other ones but I was happy to pay the price because it was good quality. I should it look for a coupon or a discount but I need it the fridge.
