My wife and I purchased a new 30 cu.ft LG French door refrigerator Feb.15th 2015. Within 6 months we had a defrosting problem, service man came out. A few months later same problem except worse. MELTED AND SPOILAGE. Service man came out. Kept replacing the same part. Now I must have LG EXTENDED WARRANTY, A LG CONTRACTED service man came out, he was saying NO its a compressor. He came out again. HE TOLD THEM ITS A COMPRESSOR. They thought they (LG) knew better. Finally a LG Co. Repair man came out, with a compressor. Problem solved. Each time I called for service IT WAS 2 WEEKS before it was put in, even though it was not right. The last time it was 3 weeks but problem solved. I had to purchase another refrigerator, NOT A LG. It is performing great. A GE, I HAD NOT BEEN ABLE TO USE THIS LG for about 12 WEEKS because of being ordered and BEING WRONG part. The customer service IS SO BAD. Then, the last time LG service came out, I was charged $395 because the ext. warranty had expired. My purchase date from SPENCERS APPL. Feb.15th 2015, $2750.

I had chosen an LG refrigerator for many reasons. First being its energy efficiency, design and functionality. It wasn't the top of the line model but was very reliable. It had plenty of space on the door for large 2 liter bottles. It also had a lot of drawer space. Had a nice clean look. The ice maker was added luxury for me. There was nothing I disliked about the LG. It performed very well for me. Would definitely purchase another LG. They seem to stay right up with current technology.

The ice maker stopped working about a year after we bought it. That was the beginning. But far worse than that is the absolute junk quality of the refrigerator interior. EVERY PIECE breaks on its own, due to low quality plastic and sloppy product design. We've already replaced them twice, and they need to be replaced again. Pitiful. We've never had any problems like this with a refrigerator of any brand, until we bought LG. This third world company isn't ready for "Prime Time" in the world market. They make garbage, and then don't stand behind their product. When will we stop buying the garbage these third world companies are selling us? If you want to say "Life's Good" when you've purchased an appliance, DO NOT BUY LG! Total trash.

The refrigerator seems great until the evaporator began freezing up at about 15 months. The repair person said this is a common failing with Samsung but we had to fight for months to get the problem resolved with Samsung eventually refunding the full purchase price after claiming it was not a warranty item and me having to read their warranty back to them word for word in order to seek resolution.

Have a french door refrigerator. Had problems with the ice maker after first 30 days. Ice maker leaks and freezes up. Have had this worked on twice and numerous calls to Samsung with NO help from them. Everyone needs to know there is a class action lawsuit regarding this issue. Contacted Best Buy for service and the guy told me they would come fix it but would only be a 50/50 chance the ice maker would be fixed for good because of continuous problems with this ice maker and it could cost up to $500. Samsung has a problem with this and they should take responsibility to make good on their products. Will not buy another Samsung product.

I have purchased Hitachi 1.5 ton 5 start split AC, AC have not completed two years, but water is freezing on indoor unit, also support person come and blindly say, "Gas is finished. You have to pay approx 3-4k" and took the 500 rs fees. Very worst experience. Please spend some money more and purchase some good AC like O General etc. Also shopkeeper had suggested me to not to purchase it but only due to name of Hitachi I have purchased. Wastage of money. Really I am totally frustrated. And Hitachi support has making money only by making fool.

My fridge is 8 years old and on extended warranty. The compressor blew and they tell me they do not have the part to fix it. They said they would give me a three hundred dollar discount on a new fridge. Unbelievable! The cost to fix it was going o be $400.00. Not my fault they do not have the part. I will fight this until I get a replacement. In the meantime it will be up to four days for the team to get back to me. It's summer, I do not have a fridge. Never buy this KitchenAid fridge (includes Whirlpool and Jenn-Air) product. I have had many issues since I purchased it.

In July of 2014, we bought a KitchenAid fridge with all the bells and whistles. French Door with the ice bin in the fridge door, electronic control of temp in wine drawer, 3 pull out trays in freezer and so on. We paid $3299.99 and it was by far the worst purchase I have ever made. 2 weeks after it was delivered I awoke to my kitchen floor covered in water. The water was dripping out of the LED lights in the fridge. I called to have a tech come out and they came 3 days later and changed 2 parts then said it would be fine. 3 hours later, it started leaking water again. I called and another tech came out 5 days later and did some adjustments then left. The next day, I woke to more water on the floor. Tech came again 6 days later changed a few parts. 6 hours later, water all over the floor. It took 7 technicians to finally fix the problem. I thought it must have just been a freak thing and surely everything will be fine now. 3 months later, my fridge wasn't staying cold. All the milk products were spoiled and I had just went shopping the day before. I called to have it serviced. Took 9 days for a tech to come out and they changed the seal. The following day still not cold. I called again waited 5 days for a tech and they changed the computer. All fixed again. 4 months later my freezer quit working. Again, it took 2 calls and 2 weeks to get it fixed.Well, I am on the last straw, my freezer quit working again yesterday. I called for a tech and I have to wait till next Thursday (8 days) for someone to show up. I told them I don't even want the fridge anymore, it is unreliable. They told me that if it had 4 or more problems in a 12 month period they would replace it but since they have been spread out over the past 20 months they will not. So here we go again.I thought KitchenAid was a great name brand. They make great mixers and other small appliances I can't go wrong. WRONG!!! They know what they are doing with small appliances but their large appliances are cheaply made and use the cheapest parts that always seem to fail. Stay clear of their refrigerators. In less than 2 years I have had 11 technicians out and the 12th is coming next Thursday. I have had 8 parts replaced so far and have lost who knows how much money in food spoilage. If they really stood behind their product they would have by now replaced the fridge.

We purchased LFC25760SB Refrigerators in July 2007. It has been working just fine until recently. We noticed the lights were out on the Refrigerator section and when I removed the cover to see what size and shape they were, the light bulbs were very hot. Once they cool down, I checked the switches and they were NOT turning the lights off when the doors were closed. I noticed that there has been a problem with these models of refrigerators and was wondering if there is a fix yet offer by LG. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Beware Beware Beware! I have owned a Viking refrigerator for 3 years and have had 9 service calls so far. The model rvrf336ss5 has been known to have leaking issues and freezing issues in the chill drawers. In fact, Viking changed the model number after making some fixes, yet the last repairman mentioned it is a bad investment to buy either model. It is a sleek and nice fridge in appearance but don’t be fooled.Viking will do support teams are essentially trained to do everything they can to not replace their faulty merchandise. After 9 service calls the service department said they still lacked sufficient information. Viking will send their own “approved” service department, who essentially are too scared to report the truth because Viking will pull their contracts. This isn’t an opinion rather what we were backhandedly told. I am a handicapped frontline medical worker who has now retired and my husband is a frontline medical worker. During these awful times dealing with a faulty refrigerator and crooked service department is the last thing we need. Their refrigerators leak notoriously. If you have questions feel free to reach out **.
