The water dispenser is awesome. There is a lot of room, easy to clean, fairly quiet. The stainless steel version is easy to clean as well no smear marks. We had to get counter depth cause of where we put it in the kitchen but its perfect for what we need. There is still plenty of room to store food. It looks fantastic and stays clean making it look like new everyday. We get tons of compliments on the fridge by our guests. Very great fridge. The price compared to other fridges is very good, counter depth in general costs more than normal fridges but if you have limited space this is for you.

My Kenmore refrigerator (manufactured by LG - be careful, they dont tell you that) has been broken for over 6 months. I finally got a Sears repair technician out on 8/28/18 to start the actual repair. The refrigerator worked for a couple weeks then broke again. A technician was sent out again on 11/6/18. He look at the refrigerator and informed me that the refrigerator was unrepairable and he made it perfectly clear that it was a direct result of the work that was done on 8/28. He left no doubt that the SEARS technician broke the refrigerator beyond repair. Since then I have gotten nothing but a run around from Sears on whether they are actually going to replace my property that THEY destroyed. They pointed out I dont have a warranty. Do I honestly need a warranty to protect me from YOUR negligence? Seriously?!?! To add insult to injury I received a $294 bill for the service visit on 8/28. They expect me to pay them for coming out and destroying my property. Unbelievable. So now Im out $300 plus about $2500 to buy a replacement fridge. I dont blame the technicians even the one who made the mistake. We are all human. Things happen. Sears could have done the right thing and resolved this in a quick, positive manner. Instead they chose the unresponsive, unethical route. They do not deserve to be in business if this is how they treat customers. I wish I could give them negative stars. My advice - there are so many ethical, customer service oriented businesses out there these days more worthy of your business. Even if they cost a little more they will definitely be getting my business over Sears.

Dependable and very reliable fridge that I would purchase again and highly recommend it to family and friends to use in their home. It is quiet and very roomy. I have no problem fitting all sorts of food in there and trusting it will be kept fresh and tasty. The size is very big for holding all various assortment of products that my family enjoy like veggies, juices, and tons of snacks. The amount of food I can cram in there is amazing. I once put 40 lbs of prepped plantains in there and it was wonderful. What a sexy fridge - let me tell you, it simply just gleams, shines, glistens, and beckons me to it. I love the steel like finish and it is always a joys to polish her up. For the price you cant beat cold food and ice cubes. I enjoy ice cube from the fridge. Buying bagged ice is ridiculous and expensive so this fridge is such a joyful savings.

It works better than any fridge Ive ever used. There is tons of space in the fridge. It makes ice rapidly. And it looks amazing. Overall the performance cant be beat. The refrigerator part has more than enough space for all of my needs! It has great shelf storage in the door, and even better shelf size and spacing in the main area. The downfall would be the freezer part. It is very narrow and I cant stock up on as much as I would like to. The fridge is eye catching and sleek. It fits in with my decor of my kitchen and isnt a bothersome sight. It doesnt seem to get full of hand prints like previous fridges we have used, and it also cleans nicely. The value of this fridge is outstanding. The price for a high performance appliance was well worth it. I expect my fridge to last a very long time and always make me happy.

This is a great refrigerator and was a bargain at the price I paid. It is still running great after 5 years of nonstop usage and I hope it will continue to do so without any problems. This fridge can fit all of my needed items into it with no problem whatsoever, and there is still room inside for more items! I would recommend this to others that need a big fridge that is spacious. This fridge has a very clean and sleek design without all of the added extras that others may include. The appearance is very crisp and looks great in the modern kitchen/house. This fridge is great for the value. I have had it for almost 6 years and it is still running like I just bought it. I will forever recommend Kenmore products because they are worth the value.

Like thousands of others, I have trusted the Kenmore name as being a quality product for many years. My parents bought Kenmore appliances too. So when it was time to buy a new refrigerator I bought a Kenmore Elite with the bottom pull out freezer. I specifically did not want another brand like Samsung or LG because I knew they made faulty products after talking with appliance repair techs and friends who had purchased these products. We have been happy with our Kenmore fridge for just over three years until today. It stopped cooling and I called a repair tech. It was a BIG surprise to learn our Kenmore was actually an LG product that had a known poor quality compressor. The technician told us he and his company had replaced MANY compressors on the same Kenmore refrigerator I owned. It cost me $840 to replace the compressor because of course it was no longer under warranty. It frustrates me to no end, just three years after purchasing the refrigerator at a cost of $2,500 and now an additional $840. I recommend to everyone do you own research before buying. I wish I had because I would not and will not buy Kenmore again.

For the price it was at the time (there was a sale when I went to take a look at it), the space and build of this unit was great for my budget. Its basic and I like that because I dont have to worry so much about maintenance with fancy features. I can display photos and its easy to clean. Very well in keeping things cool and stored. The freezer is just enough space for all my long term storage needs and the energy saving feature is a big help. Also, it holds all my groceries and snacks brought in by my family and friends. Its a huge help around the holidays when I got to cook a lot.

Kenmore Side by Side Refrigerator Model 106 51103 111 - I purchased this refrigerator on 6/29/12 and it was delivered to my home on 7/11/12. On Saturday, 1/14/17, it quit cooling. My service repairman came on Monday, 1/16/17 and found that the compressor was bad. This refrigerator has not even been in my home for 4-1/2 years and its shot. Sears was not willing to do anything to correct this problem saying the compressor only has a 1 year warranty. They did offer a 10% off coupon toward my next Kenmore purchase. I will never buy anything else at Sears. They sell appliances that are inferior and they dont care about their customers. That is why Sears is in trouble. They could have offered to pay 50% of the repair for a new compressor. My service repairman said I would be better off buying a new refrigerator, so I did - NOT A KENMORE!!!

Had a family member who worked in the warehouse. Got it at a reduced price for a little bit of superficial damage. Plus at the time I had a Sears credit card so that was easier to not have to put any money upfront. But the good part was never had any problems out of it. No maintenance issues or nothing. Unit was purchased in 1992 when I bought the brand new house and I owned for 13 years. The unit had a built-in ice machine and had the built-in water dispenser. The refrigerator seem to be the right height for both my wife and I and we never had no problems getting into the unit or above the unit because it was encased on three sides. However, the refrigerator unit had a matte texture to it. This texture was hard to keep clean because of the pits in it. I would have made it with a smooth finish or I wouldnt have to worry about actually using a scrubber to get into the surface and get fingerprints and stuff I guess for the kids off of but we never had any mechanical problems out of it. It always seem to run just the way it was. Never overheated. Never had to call the repairman so I was really satisfied with it.

If I could I wouldnt even give it a whole star. Maybe half a star if theyre lucky. The fridge we bought did not last very long. Maybe 3 years and when it broke down it was near impossible to get any help to get it fixed. The warranty was expired and was forced to have to buy a new one. The warranties that the fridges have are junk and should be at least 5 years. They are cheaply built, built to not last so you have to buy a new one in a few years. Will never buy anything Kenmore ever again. Totality dissatisfied with their products and warranties you get with items.

The fridge met my expectations. It was spacious and had a very large ice bin. The flaw to that was that it limited freezer space so we had to get a chest freezer for the rest of our food. I was still satisfied with it. It was a little spacey but we were able to get it in the spot where we wanted. If it were just a couple of centimeters thinner, I would have been more satisfied. I thought it was a little too expensive but we bought it anyway since it appeared to meet our expectations.

I purchased a Kenmore Coldspot model #105 March 8th of 2014. Last year had a factory water line break and ruin my kitchen floor and drywall in the basement. I filed a claim and received a check for the damages (No problem things happen). Now 1 year and 4 months after purchase (4 months past the expiration date of the warranty) the fridge has stopped cooling. Had to take all of our food to my wifes grandmas house at 10:30 at night. Called the repair service line and they tell me since its out of warranty it will cost me 90 dollars plus whatever parts are needed to get a technician out to the house. OR pay 40 dollars for the extended warranty and then 60 dollars every time a tech has to come out. I feel like a fridge should last AT LEAST 5-10 years right? If Im forced to buy a replacement then I will never buy from Sears again. Im so outraged I can barely think. What can I do?

We purchased a Kenmore refrigerator several weeks ago, and the ice coming out of the ice maker had a horrible chemical taste. A Sears repairman came out to check it (it took weeks for him to come), but he could not find anything wrong. He sent us a new ice maker, which we installed ourselves, but this did not solve the problem. The ice still tasted awful, like gasoline. I called Sears again, and they sent a different person out. He did not know what was wrong, either. He took the water filter out and told us to see if that made a difference after a few days. Yes, that did solve the problem; the ice now tastes normal. Apparently, poison chemicals were leaking out of the water filter into the ice makers water line. The reason why we purchased this $1,000.00 fridge to start with was because it had filtered interior water and ice maker. Now it has no filter in it, so consequently, we do not have the filtered water that we paid for. To top it off, Sears refuses to replace the defective water filter. I will never deal with Sears again!

We have a side by side and we have never had any problems with it. We bought it about three years ago. It has an automatic ice maker and pure water to drink. I would recommend it to anyone that would ask me about our refrigerator.

I bought a Kenmore Elite refrigerator from Sears less than three years ago. I have had technicians out at least three times this year because it keeps breaking. I get a different story and different bill from them every time. It is broken again, and had another appointment scheduled for tomorrow. 6/19/19. Now it is pushed back to next week. And I keep getting charged, and now Sears has raised the diagnostic fee for a call out by 13%. Last technician told me they have a lot of problems with the Kenmore Elite refrigerators - DONT BUY ONE!!!

Im able to adjust the temperature so food is always fresh. Lots of storage space. Adjustable shelves make storing easy. Its not difficult to clean even with kids touching it a lot. Lower on my refrigerator budget. All around enjoyable. I am happy with the size of the refrigerator. It does not take up much space in my kitchen. The multiple storage containers within the refrigerator is convenient. The refrigerator is sleek and stainless steel. It matches my other appliances and have gotten many compliments. It has really completed my kitchen. The refrigerator has so far lived up to my expectations. I have had no issues with it this far and enjoy it. To me it was worth the cost.

Its easy to maintain and use. Love how it keeps cool enough for my stuff. Its big enough on the inside to hold everything and has a lot of simple features. Its about 300 sq ft wide. Big enough for my family and the main things we need in it. I like the size of it including the freezer part. My fridge is white all over and on the inside it has 3 main shelves and two drawers in the bottom. And shelves on the door with enough space to hold things. I think what I paid for my fridge was a good value and its living up to what I paid for it in the first place. I wouldnt recommend another kind to anyone.

I bought a Kenmore Elite French Door refrigerator Jules’s than 3 years ago and was so excited because I thought the brand was good quality. I was so disappointed when it completely broke. It leaked all over my floor, stopped producing ice, and wouldn’t get cold. I lost all the food in the fridge! Luckily I have a freezer in my garage. I had to pay for the repair guy to come look at it and was told that it was best to buy a new fridge as the model was faulty and the compressor would continue to fail and the cost was not worth the hassle. I will never buy another Kenmore appliance!

Very little problems with my Kenmore refrigerator. The only problem I did have which was my fault was a nick I put on the bottom shelfs metal that rusted. They told me to clean it and paint over it. That worked. Like I said, I would buy Kenmore because Sears is a company that stands behind their products and takes care of their customers. I do not know the exact size, but it was large enough to accommodate a family of seven people, three of them being children. The freezer could have been a little larger. The movable shelves helped also, especially if we had tall items to refrigerate. I recommend attaching a water filter to the ice maker if your water in your area is hard. We bought a white refrigerator, mostly because we know we will be keeping this refrigerator for a long time and colors seem to date the refrigerator. Also white matched our other appliances. I dont recommend buying appliances in trendy colors. They get so outdated so quickly. I learned this when the rage was turquoise and wished I didnt buy a color that ages the appliance. I recommend white, silver (stainless steel) or black. My Kenmore was worth everything we paid. I cannot remember how much we paid, but Sears has some tremendous sales and we probably bought it on special. At any rate we are happy with our Kenmore.

13 months after purchasing this expensive refrigerator and 1 month after the warranty ran out, the entire computer circuitry has to be replaced. Oh, and the ice maker has yet to work correctly. So, Sears answer? Buy a $279 warranty and well come out on February 10, 2014 to fix your refrigerator. If it costs more than $500 to fix, I have to pay the difference. Unbelievable!

Ive trying to my fridge fixed since March 2016. Its now September 15th 2016 and my manufacture warranty will run out in the next 10 days. Problem: Ice doesnt work. Beeps for no reason (thinks a door is open when that is incorrect). All lights do not work (If I unplug the unit, the lights work for about 5 minutes). Issue with service: Ive been contacting Whirlpool customer service to fix a Kenmore product (Sears told me to call them). They have sent the technician 6 times. Nothing has been fixed. They have changed many parts but with no change in the actual problem. Im worried that theyre just trying to wait out the 12 month warranty and then Im stuck with a broken fridge... Ive tried calling Sears many time. Both Sears and Whirlpool are unable to solve the problem. Sears says they cant touch the product until after the manufacture warranty. That doesnt make sense to me. Please be very careful with Kenmore products made by Whirlpool. They dont care.

Fridge did the job that it was supposed to do. Our food was kept cold until we wanted to use it, many times for a week. All of our drinks were kept very cold. We had no leakage from under the fridge which was the main problem with our old one. This fridge blends in well with the decor of our kitchen. We also have a small freezer on the top which keeps everything frozen forever. Neither the fridge or freezer need to be cleaned out very often. I just like my fridge.

The Kenmore fridge worked great and a very good product. It was a compact size which was good for space. I could have gotten something else and Im glad I didnt!!! I truly was happy with what it was bought for. I wish I had a home to buy a fancy one though!!!

Kenmore Refrigerators is exceptionally good and value for money. I would recommend it for those who want quality with less bucks to spend. Its the best deal I have ever got in refrigerators. Thumbs up.

I still have my first Kenmore refrigerator from 30 years ago. It still works. I replaced it with a bigger one when my family outgrew it. Its in the garage and I use it to store extra soda cans and bottles. I store frozen veggies and fruits in the freezer section and anything else that doesnt fit in the fridge in the kitchen.

Purchased new freezer in March of 2014. Reasonable installation, installers broke a small part which was replaced by Sears. I purchased extra hoppers for the door. All was OK until this winter when we had several power outages. After the second outage, the freezer stopped running. I called and spoke to a technician who directed me to reset the breakers on the electrical box. She said the freezer would come back on in awhile. It didnt, so I called for a service call which had to be scheduled some time much later than I needed. In the meantime, after a week or so, the freezer resumed working. All was OK again for about a week when the freezer stopped again. I went through the breaker box routine again with no results. However, two days later the freezer resumed running but only for an hour or so. (Are we having fun yet?) I have called again for a service call, again sometime in the future and have cleared out the freezer and turned it off with the interior dial. (I would pull the plug, but I cant reach it.) The consequences as you can imagine are the loss of the entire contents of the freezer and extreme stress to me.

Top freezer door malfunction! Almost every time you close the refrigerator door, the freezer door pops open! UGH!! I have come home to thawed and ruined freezer items too many times after someone else did not know this problem closed the fridge door! The fridge is not level so we know that is not the problem! UGH!!!

My Kenmore elite french door refrigerator is approximately 2 years old. It has already been repaired twice due to not cooling properly. I have four kids and now for the 3rd time my refrigerator is not working and of course is out of warranty, but again it is not cooling at all. I called to schedule a repair thru Sears/Kenmore. I paid for the warranty for this year. I set up an appointment for this Wednesday from 8-12 last week. I got a call today and the appointment is canceled due to no technician in area on Wednesday 2/21/17. The next available appointment is March 1, 2017. I asked about replacement due to ongoing issue. They will only cover $500 for new refrigerator, on over a $2000.00 refrigerator that is approximately two years old. Thank you for your time.

Works great, never have had any problems with this model of fridge. It serves its purpose. Was great for making ice, had one of the shortest times for making it. Also had plenty of freezer room, which most fridges do not have. Just wish I would have splurged and gotten one with ice dispenser and water dispenser. Overall I have enjoyed this unit to the fullest. The size served my needs and uses. Had plenty of freezer space, and could make ice cubes relatively quick. Also could hold 2 gallons of milk at a time and still have room for other necessary items. The appearance of this fridge is very sharp. Very classical look while being able to have enough room for all other items needed. It fit well with the look of my kitchen. The value of this fridge is great for the money. It is an economical appliance that is worth the money. Have had other fridges not worth the money spent on.

I can actually fit all my produce, fruit and vegetables. Two watermelons and six cases of soda and water bottles, along with my eggs and dairy. My fridge is perfect in size inside and out. Its shiny and glossy and looks marvelous in my kitchen. It actually sits out of everything in my kitchen. Lol. I live in an old house so you can tell the difference. Kenmore allows you to get your money worth when you purchase their products. It lasts for years without repair or replacing. Just keep it clean and you are good to go.

We were broke, so we were not looking to buy a fancy, expensive unit, just something to fulfill a need. The refrigerator was super cheap and proved to be worth every penny. It wasnt a fancy model with lots of bells and whistles, but it suited our needs. The price was right and it was also a perfect fit. The temperature was always perfect. It was easy to disassemble for cleaning and it was very quiet as well. However, the freezer had to be defrosted a little too often for my taste and it did not have an ice maker. Still, it lasted for twice as long as I had hoped for. I would buy it again.

Its really exactly what you would/should expect. Its definitely a quality product. I do really love the whole ice machine bit. Buy some Tupperware though. I like to use the crock pot for roasts and what not and it definitely doesnt fit. Size is fine. Breaking up the roast into smaller portions isnt a bad deal though. Makes it ready to take in my lunch that way, anyway. Black, modern, sleek. I mean, its a refrigerator. Not exactly the centrepiece of a room really. It doesnt stand out though, so thats nice. I dont think Ive ever really looked at one made after the 80s or so that I thought was ugly, really. I mean, considering I barely paid for it, Im pretty stoked on the value. I would have happily paid asking price, though.

We have never had any problems with this refrigerator. It has always kept things cold very quiet running. Sometimes I have opened the door just to make sure it was still running. Never had any problems with the freezer, always keeps things frozen. Love the vegetable crisper keeps everything crisp. The size is right for us. Even when our children were home we still had plenty of room. I like how the shelves are adjustable and how easy it is to adjust them so no matter what I need to put in there I know it will fit. Great appearance. Looks really great in my kitchen. I love how easy it is to clean. Just a quick wipe down and I am done. Love the white color, not too shiny but not dull, really stands out. I feel that it is a great value. I cannot remember what we paid for it but I know that we got a very good deal because it has lasted a long time and we have never had to throw anything out because of spoilage.

I just replaced this refrigerator several months ago from a Samsung. The Samsung ice cube maker was always breaking. My new fridge has better features, and it keeps things fresh for weeks, it’s remarkable.

It was good until it had to be replaced. It was one of my first refrigerators and it was nothing fancy. I got a side by side refrigerator the next time I got one but this one worked for many many years. It was a little small but still fully functional and it didnt take up too much space which is always good to have. I liked the big freezer personally because I eat a lot of frozen foods. Plain and white but clean and simple is how I would describe it. It had a good place to place magnets on the front and it wasnt nice enough that you were afraid of damaging it. I dont think I could have sold it to someone even in a garage sale but it served our purposes well which was primarily to keep our food cold or chilled.

The refrigerator was good and kept my food cool. I liked how spacious it was also. I am pleased with what I spent and what I got. I was able to put something in and 20 minutes later it would be chilled to where I can be refreshed from a hot day. I absolutely love the fact that this refrigerator is as big and spacious as it was. I was very pleased to be able to keep my food cool in a very large space to have thing organized and neat. The refrigerator looks very nice and I appreciate that it went well with my other appliances although it was a different brand. The color matched everything in my kitchen. The value is very good. I spent a little under a grand at a sale at Best Buy and ended up falling in love with this refrigerator. I was happy to spent such a decent price on something that lasts a long time.

Plenty of space inside. No cold spots that freeze produce. Easy to clean. Flawless ice maker. Adjustable shelves in both doors. Would definitely buy again. Able to put my largest capacity spaghetti sauce pot inside. Easy to adjust shelves for taller items. Easily held my regular items plus bulk produce I purchased from a local farmer before I was able to process it to freeze. Very attractive. Not cluttered around the ice/water in the door. Easily cleans and shows no fingerprints. Blends right in with my kitchen decor. Very nice fridge for the price. Looks like a designer model without the designer price. Has features found on several higher priced models. Would certainly purchase it again.

We purchased this refrigerator (Kenmore Refrigerator Model 970-420423) on April 26, 2012, and it is the noisiest fridge Ive ever seen. The motors keep constantly running. Apparently, it has 3 motors in it, and with requiring so much pressure, every time we open the fridge portion, the top freezer pops open and often. It doesnt close completely, leaving a gap of about 1/4. If a person is gone all day, they can easily find that the freezer section has been open 1/4 all day. Were so dissatisfied with our purchase and because it takes awhile to realize its problems, Sears would only send a repairman out to check it out. He says the material they use to insulate the fridges now does not do anything to soundproof them. He gave the reasons for the freezer door popping open which doesnt help us any. Were very sorry we purchased from Sears. We wont trust them again. This product is supposed to be made by Maytag, so, watch out.

It has some issues with the ice maker - but overall satisfied. It is a side by side - and I do like that and it runs quite well. Also, some of the shelves in the freezer are pulling out of the wall.

Definitely a good refrigerator. Kept my food cold. Reliable. Bought years ago and still going strong. I like the finish, the handles, and the consistent temperature. I feel like you can always use more room. Good room, but the freezer isnt as big as Id like. I like to keep meals frozen for later, and after adding all those together, it would be nice if there was more room. Very clean, polished, curved, appealing and matched my style. Modern, all and all, a very nice shiny fridge. I liked the color and the pattern. You pay what you get. I didnt expect to get a fridge for free or for 100 dollars. I think the price was more or less what I expected, but the value was good. Hard to make a big purchase like that often.

Kenmore has always produced great products. If you were on a budget, this is the way to go. Very nice fridge for the price. The interior of the refrigerator is very spacious and drawer size was excellent. The cooling was very good and it kept a constant temperature, in the refrigerator and freezer. My personal choice for a freezer would be on the bottom. But the top freezer worked fine. It is just a matter of taste. But didn’t have an ice maker. My current washer and fryer are Kenmore too, and I’m very happy with them.

I purchased this refrigerator right after Christmas last year when our refrigerator died. First thing I didnt like was that I had to wait nearly a week for delivery. I wasnt really happy with the layout of it after delivery, but figured I could live with it. Then as soon as the weather started warming up, we noticed the freezer foods had a wet feel and ice was sticking together. Upon examination, my son discovered when the cold section door was closed, the freezer door popped open! Most of the time it would close on its own but occasionally it didnt. I was glad I had paid for a Master Service Agreement with the purchase! I called the repair service. The technician came out and made a big deal of leveling the fridge, etc. – leaving without a fix for the freezer door. I stewed for a while then called repair service again, relating what had happened on the first visit. This technician decided he would tell me how You can fix that problem yourself. Hello! Not when I paid over $400 for someone else to fix it!Knowing this fridge was made by LG and sold by Sears with their Kenmore name on it, I contacted LG. Meanwhile I had gone to KMart, where they sell Sears products, and tested all the Kenmore refrigerator doors. This model is the only one the freezer door popped open on when closing the cold section! The person, who answered my email detailing the problem, put me in touch with a Sears CEO who sent Sears Blue Ribbon Team out to look at the fridge.The technician at that time stated there was no fix for it unless LG made a stronger magnet for the freezer door, which they didnt. And though he declared, when he spoke with Sears advocate on the phone, that the fridge was working as it should, he would also recommend 100% customer satisfaction if it were up to him. When I finally got a call back from the Sears CEO, she claimed she could not exchange the fridge because the technician stated the fridge is working as it should.So I am stuck with a fridge that has manufacturer defects that the manufacturer and the seller are both aware of! Even I can look at the refrigerator and see that the space between the bottom of the freezer door and the top of the cold section door is larger on the left side than the right side. Whether this has anything to do with the problem, I have no clue. But I doubt it. I’m just saying I can see it. I have copies of all email communication between myself and LG, and myself and Sears for what its worth.

Easily the best refrigerator that Ive ever owned. Very neutral color for any kitchen design. Adequate spacing, easily able to store everything we need. The way the shelving is situated allows for anything that we use on a daily basis. Id recommend to anyone. The design is the sort that would stylishly go into any kitchen style. Pricing is where Im safe buying a refrigerator. Would like to see more options.

We had this refrigerator for a couple of years and it would always have a build up of ice on the back of the freezer therefore it would not freeze the food properly. The size was great for a small family. We are a family of six and we really need a lot of room in the freezer. And when we filled it to capacity it would get a build up of ice. The refrigerator was a little old fashioned. White appliances dont have a modern appearance. It didnt take up a lot of room but it wasnt small either. We got the refrigerator on sale at an appliance warehouse. The price was reasonable enough. So the price fit into my budget and I thought it was a good buy.

The first refrigerator I owned when I moved out on my own was a Kenmore. It came with the house I bought and it was new. I never had any problems with it. I owned it for about 8 years and as far as I know the people who got it after me still have it and its still working good. Thats been about 15 years ago. It was a base model, no ice maker or anything so it probably was one of the cheapest ones they made. So I guess you could say Kenmore is an excellent brand.

Refrigerator worked well, no problems. Ice maker was especially nice during the hot weather and ice cream was kept frozen but not brick hard. Vegetable crispers kept veggies crisp and the temperature was constant without having to be adjusted all the time. It was the perfect size for my not too big, not too small kitchen. I would have preferred a bit more width in the freezer compartment for things like frozen pizza boxes, but I only had so much space and this refrigerator freezer was exactly what I needed. I myself am not a great fan of stainless steel appliances, but it was on sale and my ex-husband thought it would look nice. When it was delivered, he was so happy, he wanted to get all new appliances to match. Good mid-priced refrigerator and Kenmore was having a sale so we got a good price. I would have preferred something from a different manufacturer but my ex-husband had been brought up with Kenmore and since it was on sale, it was a decent value.

This Kenmore refrigerator was on sale and I needed it. I bought it because it was cheap and it was the one I could afford. But it was overpriced even on sale. I dislike the general aesthetic though. Its plain ugly, its like a box. The magnets fall off easy. Moreover, the light burnt out as soon as I got it home. On the other hand, ice maker and door handle works really well. Freezer keeps the ice cold and refrigerator keeps beer cold and food fresh and cold. ;) But sometimes it freezes everything on the top shelf.

As much as we opened and closed the doors on this refrigerator it is a wonder it is still here. My refrigerator has been operating very well with no problems. It is large enough to put milk, eggs and meats in the freezer. It served a great room for all my favorite snacks and many many vegetables I buy on the daily. It is a nice model. A regular Kenmore refrigerator with no problems or issues. The value of the refrigerator seems reasonable to me.

Dependable and quiet running. Had one for years when I first married. Got it at Sears. My parents had one when I lived at home and it ran well for a family of nine. Always trust the Kenmore brand. We were in and out of that refrigerator a lot each day and never recall any breakdowns.

Never had any issues with the temperature control. Numerous drawers inside which keep everything separate between me and my housemates. It is a great size for a small household. Plenty of both fridge and freezer space. Love the amount of door space. Drawers are also spacious. Love the black color. Makes the magnets we collect pop. Its very sleek and easy to clean. It matches the rest of our kitchen decor. We couldnt be happier with it. The cost was very reasonable and has stayed working with no problems and little to no maintenance. It looks like it is worth much more than it costs.

It works really good. Definitely worth the money I paid for. I have no problems with it. I would recommend to other people who are shopping around for a refrigerator. It is a good size. It is hard to buy a lot of food at the same time since it isnt too big. I wouldnt recommend it if you have a big family. I am very happy with it. It is nice and expensive looking. I like the way it looks and feels. I would recommend to all of my friends. It was definitely worth the amount that I paid for. I love it! The product has been working amazing since the day I got it. I would consider buying another one just like it.

I liked the fact that the Kenmore Refrigerator had rollout trays and that the bins were clear. I also liked the shelves on this model. The light inside was nice. It was more clear and brighter than the other models. However, one of the things that I didnt like was that the doors are hard to keep open. Nevertheless, I chose the Kenmore Refrigerator due to the overall appearance of the brand versus the other brands and the price was enticing as well. I also liked the fact that it was the color that I wanted, stainless steel.

I love my refrigerator. It is big enough just for what I need and it is clean and simple looking, keeps my stuff fresh and crisp for a long time and my freezer cold for a long time. It has not crapped out on me yet and hopefully wont. I just wish they had different colors. I havent seen a black one yet in my model. But I am pleased with the model that I have and would not change it unless it stops working.

Kenmore is a well known brand and been around for s long time. It has met my initial expectations but it is a little noisy when the ice maker is making and dispensing ice. I compared it to Samsung before my purchase and in the end the lower price swayed my decision. It has a good amount of storage room in the freezer and the ice maker always keeps us in full supply. I appreciate the clear movable shelves which give me the opportunity to change the configuration based on what I have in the refrigerator. But while the overall dimensions are 26 cubic feet I would like more storage in the freezer. The space is good, but would like it to be a little wider. Also the in-door pantry is good, but again not as spacious as I would like.

My refrigerator is over 10 years old and running well. It has a bottom freezer which makes it more convenient because the items I use more frequently are at eye level. The adjustable shelves are also convenient for organizing my items. The crispers are large and I use one for fresh product and the other for cheese and bacon, etc. It also has a smaller third drawer which I use for deli meat. I love it and would recommend it highly. Solid and well-built.

I am joining the conversation about the Kenmore Elite refrigerator. Our 2.5 year old fridge died on January 1st, 2018. After two visits from repairmen, the first guy ordered a part and we waited ten days, and then the second repairman came to install the part and said it was the wrong part, we need a new compressor. We are in need of a part to go with the compressor, a valve, that is just now being manufactured and they have no idea when this valve will be ready. Of course, I have to call Sears to see when the part will be available. No wonder Sears is going out of business, shoddy appliances, uninformed supervisors that can barely read off the of their scripts. I feel there is no one to turn to help alleviate this situation but am at the mercy of whenever Sears gets around to manufacturing parts. Stay away from Sears.

No problem at all after years of working great. The one problem is the shelves have broke (one 2 glass shelves). It is very easy to clean both the inside and out. I wish that it was a little bigger in the inside. But other than that I can say I am happy with the purchase of the Kenmore. I love the outside. It does not show fingerprints at all, and always looks great and clean. That is all I have to say about the Kenmore. I think it is a great value for the Kenmore, and it is very friendly for your electrical power bill. We purchased it because it is something that runs all the time.

The appearance of the fridge was awesome. It was very fresh and modern and kinda sexy. The slim and shiny design made my kitchen pop! I would get compliments on my fridge because it made my kitchen more modern. It wasnt too big or too small and it was the perfect size for my kitchen. Plenty of storage room on the inside and I was able to store all my fruits and vegetables in the bottom compartment. I love the size of this fridge! Also, I loved having the ability to get filtered water and ice at easy access from my fridge. My only complaint is that it leaked water from the bottom sometimes. But the overall value of the fridge deserves 5 stars because this fridge did everything I needed it to do. This fridge made me proud!

We trusted the Kenmore name but never again. We purchased our Kenmore Elite refrigerator in February of 2013. On April 28th of 2015, the refrigerator stopped working. Since then, we have had 8 different Sears repairmen at our home and as of May 29, 2015, the refrigerator still isnt working and the 9th repairman is scheduled for June 8, 2015. There have been several calls and chats with representatives that have all ended the same. The representatives refuse to connect you with a supervisor. We have been promised phone calls from someone that could resolve or escalate the issue and that hasnt happened either. They have ordered parts 3 different times and replaced various items and still the appliance doesnt work.We have called the Sears store manager in Cerritos, CA and he promised to take action and call us back...never heard from him again. So far, everyone we have spoken or chatted with at Sears seems to think it is acceptable that someone should spend 3 grand on a refrigerator, have it last barely two years and take over a month to try and repair...They dont care. We will never purchase anything else from Sears or anything with the Kenmore name again. If you are looking for an appliance, I would not consider Sears or anything with the Kenmore name.

Kenmore has the best refrigerators, they last for decades, the old one I had was 21 years old before I gave it up. Keeps food fresh, consistent temp throughout the interior, love all the wonderful styles and colors you can get. I think one reason why Kenmore refrigerators are better is the company has been around for many decades.

Every 6 months the vent in the refrigerator freezes up and sometimes burns out the fan and every 4 months ice maker forms ice around it and must be thawed or replaced. Very poor design! Requires service 3-4 times per year. Sears service is abysmal and warranty covered only 1 repair out of 12 and technicians do not know what they are doing and take 1 month to come. Do not buy Kenmore!!!

I do not own a Kenmore now, but used to own one. It was quality and built to last. I would highly recommend Kenmore. Its even the refrigerator of choice in pharmaceutical companies. It comes in a variety of sizes. I always prefer the refrigerator/freezer. The model we used had the freezer on top. Good stuff. I like the variety of sizes and styles. I like the white, but silver and black are also colors. I enjoy the steel look. It also seems to last longer and look clean. Again, it lasts long and requires fewer repairs. I like the ruggedness of this appliance. Kenmore knows how to make them. The pricing may be a little bit more, but you are buying real quality.

Good product and currently own as it keeps our food in great shape and ready to be cooked or some to be immediately served. Why would anyone not want such a good working machine? Keeps the temperature at just the right setting at all times. Does not get too cold on the freezer side and never frost bites any of our food.

We bought a Kenmore elite fridge about a year ago. Were very pleased with its performance and features. The fridge is very quiet and energy efficient.

I purchased a Kenmore refrigerator and other Kenmore appliances when remodeling my kitchen in 2010. The shelves in the refrigerator door are very thin plastic and Ive had to replace both shelves now. The cost is $48.00 per shelf. I think that it is unacceptable. It is just not well designed. It also takes too long to get the replacement parts. I am not a satisfied customer and the parts customer service person I spoke to only said shed make a note in my file.

I loved the style and color, it was a perfect fit in my kitchen. It also was very functional as I had enough room inside to store all of my food and beverages. I also loved it kept my fruit and vegetables fresh and was perfect temperature for my freezer foods. It froze my foods but did not over freeze them in which no freezer burn. Very easy to keep clean as I have three kids and a husband. The different compartments made it helpful to keep different foods separated and plenty of room for taller items, milk, soda etc.

The unit has great features, large drawers and is easy to clean. But I would have liked more door space. I like modern things and I would love to see more technology similar to the Samsung. The modern refrigerators are tech savvy and beautiful. I would also love to see a more sleek refrigerator. I have used Kenmore my entire life and they are a brand I trust. They also have a huge reputation as being a reliable American brand. I trust that the unit will last a long time without repairs.

Need ice maker. It runs pretty good. I didnt think it would be that good but it was. It holds a lot of food indeed. Lot of room, very quiet motor, didnt use up a lot of power, really great fridge. The size is very big. Have 4 kids so I need a lot of food to stock. Very good shelf space. It didnt cost much money. It provides me some great reliability. Love it so so much. Its stainless and very sleek. My old fridge was white and stained really fast. Now this one is easy to clean, easy to store, easy to use. Its just a really great refrigerator. I like the value. Its most expensive but its very reliable. I got it very cheap and I really love their fridge raider. Thank you very much Kenmore for making a great product.

I dont experience any performance problem. The refrigerator function is outstanding, energy saving, and good performance, is a recommended refrigerator. Excellent, no big size but not small, easy to moving in kitchen, good as other refrigerator of other brands, perfect for apartments. Chrome appearance, beautiful gloss, easy to clean, no scratches and good for apartments and houses. Unique modern appearance. All family members like it. Good price, good performance for the value. If you like a good model and good price, you need this refrigerator. Just buy it.

I just needed a new refrigerator to keep my food cold and fresh that is inexpensive but effective. The Kenmore ref did everything it was supposed to. It was roomy and I could fit all my groceries in it. It kept the food and the drinks cold and made ice fairly fast.

I am so unhappy with the Kenmore refrigerator I bought from Sears three years ago. Today I had the second repair done, which has now nearly doubled the cost I paid for it. Ive never had a refrigerator that stopped working, let alone twice in its first three years. My old Frigidaire was still running, but it was so old that the plastic inside it was crumbling apart! But not one repair! With the cost of this Kenmore, two Sears repairs (labor was $258 for a 15 minute repair), and all of the food that had to be thrown out. This is the most expensive refrigerator I could have purchased and I hate it. I will never buy from Sears again.

Very useful for me and my family with our day to day needs in the kitchen. Keeps our food fresh longer with the compartment space with its self temperature setting zones. Love the air filters design and the roll draw in the freezer. Oh the showcase door is awesome too.

Large with lots of storage! Keeps food cold and frozen. Need good pressure water line for ice and water to work properly. Fits perfectly with our lifestyle and amount of food we buy. Fits everything you need for a large family. Plenty of shelving and drawers, inside and in doors, fridge and freezer. Shelves are spaced well for milk and soda. Deep meat and vegetable drawers. Its lovely. We chose black over chrome, the layout is appealing. Side by side doors looks very nice. The shelves and drawers are spacious and good looking. Good price. Black also cheaper than chrome. Fits so much its worth it to be able to plan so far ahead for meals and holidays. Makes entertainment easy.

I purchased a top-of-the-line Kenmore refrigerator in February 2013. On May 26, 2013, after being away for a couple of days, I came home to water on the floor and my refrigerator not working. An error message came up on the display. When I called Kenmore, they told me they couldnt have a repairman out for a couple of days. I lost hundreds of dollars of food. The repairman showed up last night and said it needed over $500 in parts and it would take 10 days to get them. He told us we should buy their extended warranty because he gets a lot of complaints about these new refrigerators that have a lot of electronics. They want over $700 for a four-year warranty. I think I got a lemon and deeply regret buying it. Why would I want to pay $4,000 for a refrigerator that breaks down spoiling all my food and a tremendous inconvenience and then be asked to spend another $700 to make sure the refrigerator works for at least 4 years?! Sears needs to go bankrupt. It is the last thing I will buy from them!

Keeps my things chilled but not frozen, would recommend to anyone. It is a great brand for the value, and I know that it will last long enough for me to get the full use out of it. It once again is an amazing fridge and great brand. The fridge has a decent size, and it has lots and lots of space for your goods. Even if you get a smaller one, you still get a ton of room for groceries, soda, etc. This fridge looks sleek and modern. It doesnt have a bulky look, and I do love the stainless steel featured on it. It helps keep it clean, and it just looks good in general. The value for the quality of this fridge is 100% worth it. Anytime my friends want a fridge recommendation its always Kenmore fridges. They arent too expensive for the great quality.

This is a nice basic refrigerator. It doesnt have the frill like other models but it works and thats all you need. Kenmore is a well-known name and one you can count on. My refrigerator is a basic model with the freezer on the bottom. Its the perfect size for a small family wanting just the basics. It has no frills but its a workhorse made to last. The refrigerator is plain with no water device on the front. Its just the right size for a small family or empty nesters. Its also sturdy looking. The price of this refrigerator is great. Its the basic model so it doesnt cost as much as the fancy models. If you compare prices then you will see Kenmore is the brand to buy.

It was okay. However I have had better. The customer service was subpar. I called once and I was on the line for two hours. The refrigerator itself only broke down once. But it was very difficult to get itself since the customer service was not the best.

The refrigerator works as expected. The refrigerator kept food cold, wasnt too loud. The refrigerator had enough room to store all of my food and beer and stuff. The refrigerator also didnt take up too much physical space in my kitchen and fit well in there. It is a little boring and plain but the refrigerator is also not too hideous either. I cant complain about its appearance too much. Maybe color it up a bit and make it look modern. I thought the refrigerator was a good value. The refrigerator did the job it is supposed to do and it didnt seem overpriced when I purchased it.

The lights in the refrigerator compartment would not shut off and it is starting to overheat and smell like burning plastic or wires. I placed a call to Sears for service and was told initially that the issue would not be covered. I explained to the representative that this could have been a serious problem resulting in property loss or death if a fire resulted. I told them that I had noticed many other complaints posted on the Internet referring to the same issue.I asked to be transferred to the recall department and spoke with a lady, who explained to me, after placing my call on a brief hold, that there was, in fact, a recall (Model: SF-46-515-R5). The telephone number I had called was 1-800-469-4663. I was told that it was a recall from LG. Apparently, they had made the refrigerator for Sears Kenmore Brand. The parts are on back order and when they are shipped, I will be notified and the service will be done free of charge.

The ice maker jams frequently. All of the shelves on the door have broken. Stuff stays cold. The shelves are easily removable for cleaning. We have a large eight member family and this refrigerator easily fits all of our groceries for the week. I do wish that some of the shelves were taller so that we could stand up more gallons of milk, salad dressings, etc. We have the black model. It hides scratches and dings that come with normal family life well. It fits well into the space in our cabinets. We have owned this refrigerator for 8 years now. It has never had to be repaired. Given the price we paid for it we definitely feel as though we have gotten our money worth.

It is quite adequate. There are 3 drawers for fruits, vegetables and meats. And the shelves are adjustable. It lasted a long time with little need for repair. Im very happy with it.

I bought a Kenmore refrigerator (freezer on top, model 106.6093) in October 2011. Six and a half years later the compressor no longer works. It would cost $440 to replace, plus labor and removing the old refrigerator. I will be buying a new refrigerator, different brand. I bought Kenmore products for years. Their quality has clearly deteriorated. Also, when I called about the compressor I was shunted to 5 different telephone trees. I never reached a live person who could offer anything but the option to purchase a new compressor - after 6 years I no longer have a warranty, but certainly customers expect a refrigerator to last longer than 6 years.

Me and my wife decided to upgrade to the best refrigerator on the market we thought!!! So we gave our 10 year old Kenmore refrigerator to a friend of ours to upgrade to Kenmore Elite refrigerator! The first year we had it the ice maker had to be repaired then a few months later it frosted up and that had to be repaired!!! Now just over two years old the compressor has gone out! We have been without a refrigerator going on two month! Have had two service calls and it is still not repaired! I Dont know what to do. I thought a refrigerator was a long lasting appliance! Not to have to replace every other year! This Refrigerator is a Lemon!!! Help!!!

When I had this refrigerator it worked great. It did not freeze things in the refrigeration part of the fridge and kept them at the perfect cold temperature. The refrigerator was alright when it comes to size. I prefer to have a bigger fridge but it was all that I was able to afford at the time. The refrigerators appearance was fairly standard. It was white with the freezer on the top and the refrigeration on the bottom. It matched the kitchen paint well; which is why white is a good color to go with. For the amount that I paid for the refrigerator it was well worth the money. It was definitely not the most expensive model but for its size and cost it was better than the other available options.

The refrigerator keeps food real cold and easy to clean. It not hard to move to clean behind of it. The price is inexpensive for this type of refrigerator. The size was enough to put everything in it. I needed for a small family. The freezer part was a enough for the frozen items. I kept small size frozen items in it. The overall appearance is fine. It easily wipes clean. No harsh chemicals needed to clean it. Just a damage cloth really. Im not sure what I paid for it but it was within my budget. Overall good value for the money.

The refrigerator had good reviews and was on sale. I had positive previous experiences with this brand and it is still one of the best because it never disappoints function for style. I like the glass changeable shelves and ice maker located in door along with the water dispenser and the vegetable bins hold a good amount of produce and the fruits and vegetables keep well with the lettuce is crispy, nice and cold. However, I would like there to be more size offerings without sacrificing the options available in larger full size models like ice making capacity. Especially for apartment living.

This is the best fridge that I have owned. Ive had 0 issues in the couple of years of owning it. Side by side is an excellent addition to my home. The freezer portion is a little small for my needs, but I make do. I bulk freeze a lot of items. The fridge side is perfect and has enough options for adjustability to fit everything I need for a family. I love the stainless steel appearance. It holds up well to abuse. The brushed looks helps hide minor scratches. The only issue I have is keeping fingerprints off the stainless steel. I am very pleased with the value of this fridge. The size vs the value was just right for my family of four. The added value of the water dispenser is a great addition.

My Kenmore Refrigerator was a floor model and it was on sale. The refrigerator is spacious and works to its capacity. The shelves can be adjusted. It had an overhead freezer and ice making machine. It fits in the wall space and it only stopped functioning once in four years. However, the bottom gaskets keep breaking and the freezer ices over sometimes. Also, I would make an extra meat compartment and would put a bigger thermometer in the back of the refrigerator so I can read it. Nevertheless, I am very pleased with the Kenmore refrigerator and it has met my initial expectations.

I remember being a kid and my parents had a Kenmore fridge that was solid as a rock. Sears was the epitome of top notch service for their appliances and tools. Sad to say, no more... My Kenmore fridge has broken several times. One time, under warranty, their c/s center was having me to troubleshooting and repair it myself over the phone. Seriously? It has had several problems and I am not happy with it. The ice maker constantly gets stuck. Now, a small plastic piece (# 1 on attached diagram) broke off and they say that part is not serviceable. They want me to REPLACE THE ENTIRE DOOR for $ 750.00 and the old door can end up in a landfill on account of a piece of plastic that they cant or wont sell. I am very disappointed and dissatisfied with Sears, Kenmore and their overall service strategy. Never again will I step foot in one of their stores.

I cannot express how dissatisfied I am with my Kenmore refrigerator and Kenmore as a company. At 13 months the control board and door seals needed to be replaced. At 15 months insulation parts had to be replaced. At 17 months drain lines had to be replaced as well as door seals again! I emailed Kenmore 4 times and NEVER got a response. This is the French door refrigerator with the extra drawer in the center. I bought it because of the Kenmore name and the large cubic footage (28+). This will be the last Kenmore product I ever buy!

Very good. Does its job well, lots of room for me to store all my food in when I go food shopping, shelves are very strong and can hold lots of food that I buy from shopping malls. The size is very large, shelves are longer than expected so very happy with size overall. It looks quite boring and plain. I would personally like a bit more design but I covered it with fridge magnets so have it my own look which was fine with me and my family. Value is very good and I couldnt find a better cheaper fridge and as it is a fundamental aspect in our family it is very useful and good lived for what it does.

Hello, it is sad that you pay over 3,200 for a refrigerator and it dies four years later. Had two service guys come out and looked at the refrigerator told me would be over a thousand to fix it. So sad... I loved my refrigerator. Hope to keep it for more than over 10 years. But to die less than four and to pay 3200 and the company just say, Sorry, you should of taken out an extended warranty. It was the evaporator assembly and compressor. I will never buy a Kenmore anything anymore. Plus I will never buy a high dollar refrigerator again. Breaks my heart that I have this nice refrigerator that will not keep food but looks great! What to do with it now???

Performance is great. Temperature buttons work properly and have never broke. Temp always maintains the correct place you set it at. Overall performance level to me is essential and Ive had no problems. Size is essential to me. I would love a bigger fridge but my living space wont allow me to have so the size I went with proved to be spacious enough with perfect shelf space and space to stack. I absolutely love it. The appearance of the fridge you believe is top notch. I think the color makes it set itself above others and makes it look more rusty and beautiful and stands out. Go get one. Value is everything. Its perfect – value, look, appearance, longevity, price, space. Its all what you want and exactly what you always wanted in a fridge.

I find the freezer space to be sufficient, runs quietly, energy efficient. Refrigerator space layout is good due to the adjustable shelves. I find the interior space to be more than enough room for my needs. This is mostly due to the fact that I can adjust the shelving to my particular need. While not the most modern look, I find it looks very nice in my kitchen area. My kitchen has a more classic look so I do not feel the need to have the most up-to-date appliances. I feel my refrigerator to be a good value. It serves my needs well without having all the unneeded bells and whistles of more expensive models. Its energy efficiency helps to keep my utility bill lower.

Water and ice dispenser works great and is energy efficient. I would definitely suggest this refrigerator to anybody. I have been very pleased with it since day one. I love this unit but I do wish that it was a little bit bigger. It has plenty of space but when you have kids more is better. All in all the size is very suitable for my needs. I love the look of this unit but I do have trouble keeping it clean and clearing fingerprints due to it being stainless steel. This can be a job when you have children though. The cost of this unit is extremely low when thinking about performance and functionality. I have had many refrigerator and I have always had issues with all of them except this one.

My refrigerator was extremely reliable and built very well. It was very easy to clean and was extremely quiet. I would highly recommend it. We picked the smaller size refrigerator due to being on a tight budget. However, we were surprised at how much space it actually had. We were able to utilize the space given without any issues. It was a basic unit with a beige exterior. Theres not much to say other than it held up over the years and was very tough. It took some bumps without issue and stayed strong. It was an excellent value for the money. It performed excellently. It never broke down or had any mechanical or structural issues. It had enough space inside and was easy to clean.

It hasnt given us any real problems over its lifespan other than it makes a very loud thumping sound when shutting off. It still runs perfectly though. It is definitely big enough for a regular sized family of 3 or 4 people. The only time there isnt enough room is when we are hosting a gathering. It has a very basic appearance and is white in color. I wouldnt say theres anything special about the appearance but that isnt why we bought this model. It is more of a bargain refrigerator so I think its a great value. I want to say it was around $1000? No repair bills of any kind so we cant complain.

Bought my Kenmore Elite a little over 5 years ago, loved it until this week, it broke. Compressor went out, $900 to fix! Seems a Very Common problem with these expensive refrigerators! Decided to purchase a different brand. WILL NEVER BUY KENMORE AGAIN!
