Ive had my fridge for a long while and have never had any trouble. The settings are easy to adjust and keeps products cold. The fridge is the quietest of any Ive owned. I feel as if it could be a bit bigger, especially along the door area. The freezer needs to be slightly deeper. For a three-person household the fridge is a bit small, but it would be ideal for someone who cooks a lot and is single. Its a standard looking fridge. If you want a simple white fridge, its a nice addition to a kitchen. I paid a bit more than I think it was worth in the long run, but overall Im happy with the purchase when compared with what Ive had in the past. I think its a good value.

We purchased a Kenmore Elite 30CF bottom freezer refrigerator in October 2014. We thought we were buying top of the line for many years of peace of mind. By March that refrigerator had so many problems and 6 repairs. Kenmore agreed to send a replacement in April 2015. It is now September 2015 and the second replacement refrigerator has had 4 repairs. Kenmore will not even offer an extended warranty to stand behind their product and my $3,000. Yesterday the refrigerator was repaired again. Well see how long it lasts. All Kenmore says is that the replacement in April comes with a new 1-year warranty and to contact Sears to purchase an extended warranty. Like I want to invest more money into this piece of crap? Ill start saving that money towards its replacement which will likely be in a few short years, if that. This purchase has been such a nightmare. I do not plan on buying from Sears or Kenmore ever again in the future.

It is very roomy, gets very cold, love the ice maker and water filter, I loved the refrigerator. Very nice colors, great performance, low maintenance. Love the adjustable shelves, great freezer space, roomy drawers, fits well in my kitchen, great height, wide and a lot space. Very classy, very stylish, wonderful colors, great wear, great size, accentuates the kitchen and other appliances, nice, beautiful, pretty, durable, solid, appealing.

It was spacious, kept everything fresh at the right temperature. It never ran out of ice and the shelves were big enough for watermelons and gallons of milk. Everything was able to be organized effectively. The freezer could have been bigger but I love frozen pizza. It was very sleek and shiny. It definitely had a modern feel to it and I enjoyed the sleek design. It is the closest thing to a fridge from the future. The fridge is a very good value. For the type of refrigerator you get, it is very cheap. The materials it is made of feel expensive. I also couldnt find a better fridge for the price.

Its pretty spacious and good enough for my family of 4, keeps veggies and fruits fresh for long time, maintain right amount of moisture. I like the freezer part most because I use to freeze my leftover food sometimes.

My review is to help others. In December of 2014 we bought a new KENMORE ELITE AT SEARS, and in the second month we had to call assistance to see the refrigerator, was freezing the vegetables, and they change a huge chip, very expensive covered by the warranty, and then now 5 years after purchase the refrigerator suddenly failed the compressor. Making some researching we just discovery all refrigerator from KENMORE AND LG NO LONGER LAST MORE THAN 5 YEARS. Compressor are bad. So make your decision. Sears said they can give me another compressor but the technician fee and compressor labor replacement will cost almost $ 800,00. Its better buy another refrigerator for this price, and get a new branch and new refrigerator. I dont think is fair to have a kenmore at my house paying almost $ 3000.00 and another $ 800 just to have a refrigerator only 5 years.

I purchased a Kenmore Elite refrigerator in May 2015 and the compressor failed this month October 2018. I am highly disappointed that this costly refrigerator is beyond repair after 3 years. This company should be held responsible for this and provide compensation for the hundreds of dollars in losses.

The Kenmore refrigerator for the cost and install to the next day delivery was well worth the money and had all the extra space needed to get the job done. I am a loyal customer of the Kenmore Brands and I will always have it as a first choice but also a Maytag refrigerator for the second choice. Kenmore refrigerators to be honest have a great reputation for making and designs based on everyday normal function of our fast paced lives and offers great return policy. We are happy with our purchase. We like to buy the Kenmore brand as it has always worked really well. We tried a different brand a couple of summers ago and it just would not keep the temperature cold in the freezer or the refrigerator so we took it back. We like that with Kenmore, the drinking water dispenser is inside the refrigerator so instead of being on the door on the outside I don’t have water stains on the front of my fridge. The thing that I dislike is that the glass shelves do not fit tightly in the frames. On occasion when I have been cleaning out the fridge I worry that I am going to drop the glass on the floor.

I absolutely love Kenmore. Their products are amazing! I especially love the refrigerator. It works amazing and everything about it is just perfect. I just love how its stainless steel. I researched refrigerators before I made my purchase and the Kenmore brand ranked high consumer reports. I have had other Kenmore appliances and they are comparable to well known brands. I like the roominess of the top freezer. I can put large ice cream cakes in it. I also like the size of the refrigerator and the adjustable wire shelves are very convenient. I have noticed that my produce seems to stay fresher longer, which may be attributed to a good cooling system. I also think Sears stands behind their appliances and all their products and it has great customer service for their products. But I wish a refrigerator with a top freezer could have a water and ice dispenser. I also thought the refrigerator would have been higher from the ground. It seems like I have to bend way down to see items I have stored in the refrigerator on the bottom shelf. Or maybe make the storage bins taller so it is easier to see what is on the shelf. I would also like an egg tray included with the refrigerator. Other than those, Im very satisfied with refrigerator

It does all it needs to... it has never broken down on me, it doesnt over freeze or melt anything. I would definitely buy this brand of refrigerator again. It was definitely big enough to store all my food Items. The freezer is always able to hold all my frozen foods. It is really tall and it is the color silver. Its high performance and the best refrigerator I have ever bought. I would recommend it to anybody. The refrigerator cost me about 650 dollars. It was on sale at the time but it performs like it cost much more the value. I cant say enough good things about it.

I looked at a lot of refrigerators and this Kenmore refrigerator was the best for the price. The size was fine considering we only had a certain amount of space for a fridge with our countertops and our ceiling. The fridge had enough room and it came fully loaded, with all the bells and whistles. It kept things cold, had a water dispenser and made ice so we didnt have to use trays. Moreover, it was smudge resistant stainless steel which everybody loves.

Had no problem, kept food cold and good. I live on a military base and they gave us a great refrigerator. I would recommend it to my family and friends! It had a lot of space, and I loved the crispers and the way that you could control the temperature of the refrigerator.

It worked well. It was of the low end models but worked amazing. There was little to not be happy with except it wasnt a fancy fridge and small freezer space but overall was a very good fridge.

I bought this fridge 8 years ago & havent had any problems. Now with Sears closing, I dont know what Ill buy next time. The last Kenmore fridge I had lasted 20 years.

We purchased a French door fridge from Sears in 2013. The receipt is barely readable now. Starting a year ago the bottom freezer began filling up like an ice rink. Then the defroster comes on and its like a waterfall all over the floor. My husband is nearly 80, we are on a fixed income and I dont know who to turn to and try get this resolved. It seems like there are a lot of complaints about Sears repair people on here. I am so disappointed in this product. We always trusted Sears but we will think twice before purchasing an appliance there again.

Water and ice dispenser works great and is energy efficient. I would definitely suggest this refrigerator to anybody. I have been very pleased with it since day one. I love this unit but I do wish that it was a little bit bigger. It has plenty of space but when you have kids more is better. All in all the size is very suitable for my needs. I love the look of this unit but I do have trouble keeping it clean and clearing fingerprints due to it being stainless steel. This can be a job when you have children though. The cost of this unit is extremely low when thinking about performance and functionality. I have had many refrigerator and I have always had issues with all of them except this one.

It was easy to organize and to maintain. It had a good energy performance and never gave us any problems. It was not fancy but extremely solid. The space allotted for a fridge in the kitchen was not big. This fridge fitted perfectly and had enough space for us to store groceries for a family of four with two children. Simple but elegant. Not particularly noticeable, which I considered a plus. The exterior was easy to clean and with two children that was a bonus. This is not a fancy model. It was chosen because of the space available and the style of the kitchen. However the ratio price to quality was excellent.

I purchased a Kenmore refrigerator and other Kenmore appliances when remodeling my kitchen in 2010. The shelves in the refrigerator door are very thin plastic and Ive had to replace both shelves now. The cost is $48.00 per shelf. I think that it is unacceptable. It is just not well designed. It also takes too long to get the replacement parts. I am not a satisfied customer and the parts customer service person I spoke to only said shed make a note in my file.

Model #596.72213200 - On Wednesday, December 3rd my 84 year old mother opened the refrigerator door only to have it fall off and pull her down to the floor. Everything fell on the floor and broken glass was everywhere. I had her dial 911 for emergency help. She is bruised and sore from the fall. We had our appliance man, Paul Long Appliances come to fix the door and he has applied loctite to the screw that came loose at the bottom. He assured her that the screw will not come out again. He stated that this is a design flaw that allows the screw to come undone by opening the door to the right. My mother, myself and the appliance man feel that this model is a danger and should be recalled.

The Elite was purchased November 2011. The repairman is here after a 5 day waiting period. The refrigerator had lost cooling first in the freezer and then the upper refrigerator. He found the freon to be low. Now to fix it first is a process to find the slow leak, then order the parts and then repair it. This process will take 1 to 2 weeks. The cost for repairs will be around $700.00. I was informed that the compressors on these refrigerators commonly go out... Maybe not a good purchase. The refrigerator is out of warranty and I did not purchase an extended warranty. I have purchased Kenmore products for 30 years or more and this is the first one that has been a lemon, a very costly lemon.

Model 10673206300 - mom and I purchased this in 2005. Was told by salesman that this should last without problems for 15 to 20 yrs. Explained to clerk that week - really needed something to suit our needs. We are both disabled and live on a fixed income. We purchased the warranty and early on in 2005, the drawers had to be replaced. For the past month the fridge has leaked off and on. We attempted to repair but was unable. Called sears today - they want $75.00 to diagnose and was also told it would probably be $200.00. Or I could sent Sears $39.99 monthly and pay only $60.00 for the diagnosis. I was struck by the fact that the first question asked by automated system is ...is fridge leaking? Lets me know that sears is aware of this defective product. NEVER AGAIN Will I BUY FROM SEARS.

Ive trying to my fridge fixed since March 2016. Its now September 15th 2016 and my manufacture warranty will run out in the next 10 days. Problem: Ice doesnt work. Beeps for no reason (thinks a door is open when that is incorrect). All lights do not work (If I unplug the unit, the lights work for about 5 minutes). Issue with service: Ive been contacting Whirlpool customer service to fix a Kenmore product (Sears told me to call them). They have sent the technician 6 times. Nothing has been fixed. They have changed many parts but with no change in the actual problem. Im worried that theyre just trying to wait out the 12 month warranty and then Im stuck with a broken fridge... Ive tried calling Sears many time. Both Sears and Whirlpool are unable to solve the problem. Sears says they cant touch the product until after the manufacture warranty. That doesnt make sense to me. Please be very careful with Kenmore products made by Whirlpool. They dont care.

Purchased Kenmore Pro Elite and did not work on delivery with door sensor and icemaker then would not work. That was fixed. Then compressor broke and 2 months waiting for Sears repairman and parts... They replaced it which was under warranty but 330 in labor. I paid and failed in 2 days. Now another month wait. I called and called. They hung up and never sent reimbursement. I had to buy a new refrigerator after 3 months without a refrigerator.

Our KENMORE ELITE refrigerator is just 2 years old and we already need a new fan/controller. The technician said they (Lg) reprogramed the control board, which is now causing ice build-up around our fan, but we the consumer have to pay for it...way to run a company. NEVER buy a Kenmore product. Our old refrigerator (Frigidaire or GE...) was 15-20 yrs old and we didnt have any issues. Too bad that new technology is getting worse.

Kenmore Elite model 795-77573600 - Spent good money on top of the line (so we thought) refrigerator from Sears. Bought it in 2006 and in 2010 experience the same problem many people had with the light staying on and melting food, etc... Was very hot inside. Went through hoops to get Sears to pay for it after intensive research on internet let me know this was not a rare problem! But at first they wanted me to pay for it all... Okay, then in 2013 found out it was leaky on our hardwood floor. Similar to another complaint I saw, the lines leading up to ice maker were absolute brittle and cracked... We saved repair costs and handled the repairs ourselves. Fast forward to present time, April 2014... More leaks.. Can see drips underneath refrigerator, has warped our hardwood floor & its 10pm fri night... Not optimistic on getting answers this weekend.... Very upset and will never buy from Sears/Kenmore again....

Not a happy camper. I have a 7 month old Kenmore Elite french door refrigerator that is a lemon. First the ice maker quit and everything on the dispenser door. Took 3 weeks for a repairman to come out yesterday. He said we would have ice soon. So I excitedly looked for an ice cube this morning to make my girls breakfast smoothies to find the whole refrigerator is not working... Only thing working is the LIGHT. Everything in the freezer is thawing. Everything in refrigerator is not cold... 45 degrees in refrigerator. I called repair number again and they want to send out another computer which was just replaced yesterday, and it will be Sept 14th before anyone can come out to try to fix. Grr... Do not buy this refrigerator. I wish I had bought a cheap $400 refrigerator instead of this $4000 one. They want to offer is a 1 yr. warranty plan in case it happens again. Unacceptable.

Kenmore refrigerator are very reliable and last long-term. The brand has a very recognizable name and it is an AMERICAN brand which is a plus. Kenmore line is also available in many store locations. They are always modernizing their brand.

In Dec 2015 purchased a Kenmore Elite refrigerator. A big stainless steel shiny one. It ran for almost five years. We have now had three compressors fail. The new ones and also had the software updated. Ther repair person just left saying our refrigerator is not repairable due to a Freon leak in the body of the refrigerator.We joined with thousands of LG customers in the National class action lawsuit. I am still within the five year warranty period and will petition for a replacement. Each time a refrigerator fails hundreds of dollars of groceries are lost. My opinion is that retail stores are complicit with LG for selling a product made to fail. This should be considered fraud. Retail store owners have to be aware and should also be held accountable for the damage to consumers. We should not be importing these products from Samsung. Reading the hundreds of reviews shows that LG is not responding in good faith and are still allowed to fraudulently lie about their product to harm people.

It was in a very long time ago, I think 1993. Bought our very first house. Sears gave us credit, we bought kitchen appliances and that refrigerator is still in the house. They are built to last.

It was great for a not so top of the line model. It was our first so we were happy with the quality. The upper freezer was smaller than expected but you get what you paid for. Shelves were nice, inside was good and it lasted a long time. We could have used a bigger fridge but we knew that when we purchased this fridge. For a first time owner with not much to spend this works out great. White like most fridges. The appearance was nice for a cheaper fridge. It fit in nicely with the other appliances that we had in our kitchen. Good value for what you get. We paid very little but needed a fridge so we went with a brand we were familiar with. We have since upgraded but it did its job!

It hasnt given us any real problems over its lifespan other than it makes a very loud thumping sound when shutting off. It still runs perfectly though. It is definitely big enough for a regular sized family of 3 or 4 people. The only time there isnt enough room is when we are hosting a gathering. It has a very basic appearance and is white in color. I wouldnt say theres anything special about the appearance but that isnt why we bought this model. It is more of a bargain refrigerator so I think its a great value. I want to say it was around $1000? No repair bills of any kind so we cant complain.

Its a simple yet effective fridge. I use it in my basement as a second fridge when my main one is full and need extra room. This is a big life saver for me. For the basement, its the right size. It can also be used in a small apartment, small business kitchen, garage or whenever you need a fridge and space is limited. Its a simple appearance. Its not ugly but its nothing special, either. If I ever feel creative, I would get magnets for it to spice it up a bit and have fun. Our Kenmore bottom freezer fridge cost $1700 and the dreaded LG compressor quit cooling in less than 3 years. Purchased Oct. 2017 and quit cooling July 2020. Opened the fridge and water from ice went all over the floor. Fridge and freezer were both way above correct temps. Had to throw out every thing. I noticed the compressor was VERY hot so I unplugged it until a repairman could look at it. Turned it on before he came and 3 hours later he said he could have fried an egg on it. And that it needed a new compressor and was the LG brand made for Kenmore and known to have this compressor problem. Very disappointing as my previous Kenmore fridge lasted 25+ years.

Kenmore has below average craftsmanship. I wanted a refrigerator that had the freezer on top and fit into my space. I did not want an ice maker as I live in a 4th floor condo and did not want to worry about leakage to the apartment below. The door handle broke off after 1-3 months of use. I received about 6 handles from Sears while it was under the one year warranty but when the year was up Sears only option was to buy the extended warranty. The refrigerator has worked well but design flaw of the handle was very disappointing.

I bought my Kenmore Refrigerator a while back and it is still in good shape. When I bought it, I didnt want to spend a lot and so I chose this one. The fridge is white and while I am not really picky with colors, you will be able to notice the dirtiness quickly if you tend to spill things. Also, we are a family of 6 so we tend to buy a lot. The normal side where you put eggs and milk is okay. The space is big and you can put a lot of things there. But, I believe the freezer side is too small. Nevertheless, everything we buy fits.

Ive been a faithful and happy Kenmore appliance buyer for decades. Based on that experience, I recently bought a Kenmore Elite $1200 refrigerator. It developed freezer issues a month after the warranty expired and when I googled the issue I found that this was a common and known problem for this whole line of refrigerators. I contacted two local appliance-repair people and they both told me too bad, Kenmore used to be the reliable source of appliances, up until two or three years ago when they stopped manufacturing them in the US and started buying from the lowest bidder and just rebranding the resulting junk. Im disappointed in yet one more company having sold out and let down the faithful customers who kept them in business all these years. I will never again buy a Kenmore appliance, unless its an older used one in good condition.

Fridge, Freezer, and ice maker all work wonderfully. We havent had any problems with it except for the ice getting stuck once. It fixed itself. The Fridge part is a great size. The freezer is a little small for how much frozen food that we buy, but we have a mini-freezer for what doesnt fit in the main freezer. Fridge is nice looking. Its sleek and well put together, a great addition to our kitchen. I would recommend the look for most kitchen styles. We got our fridge for a good price for how well its worked and how great it looks. Im super happy. Would recommend for people searching for a good deal.

We have loved our fridge/freezer. Makes ice quickly and crushes nicely. We have little ones and having the lock button on the water and ice dispenser is a nice feature. There is plenty of space for everything. Would recommend. The size is very nice. We are able to fit an entire pizza box inside the fridge which is really nice. It kept our food cold and fresh and rarely broke down. It also stored a numerous amount of food items. The freezer section also had a lot of storage space and made things freeze very quickly. It also made ice very quickly. I do not recall the exact size but we had more than enough space for everything we needed. We also has an egg rack to store each egg individually which I liked very much. The color was a basic white with a wood handle which size wise fit nicely into our kitchen. The color was clean and modern looking for our kitchen which pleased me very much. It was a great value for the money due to the more than ample storage space, the efficiency, and the clean and modern design. It was easy to clean and rarely need repair service.

My refrigerator (Model 795.77569600) displayed this error code last fall which I had fixed in October of 2012. In March of 2013, I had the same problem. Tech support is useless and only wants to send someone to fix it again and at my expense again. They are badly mistaken. I will fix it with a new one made by someone else. Junk, junk, junk!

Never had trouble with it, always kept everything cold or froze. Right amount of shelves, enough space for everything and I like how it looked. Plenty of room for everything, was the right size for my apt. Was able to stock up on a lot of my frozen foods, and it had plenty of room for my dairy items. It was a nice looking refrigerator, it was white, two doors, they could be reverse to open the other way. It was a great value. Love the price. Looked nice and reasonable price. It looked like it was a higher price, the doors were very easy to open and close.

I have had access to several different Kenmore models that usually came with one of the houses or apartments I have rented, roommated with someone, or just visited over the years. I like the newer ones with the refrigerator on top and the freezer on the bottom. I like how much more spacious and energy efficient the newer models are. I like the models that come equipped with a water dispenser (filtered of course)/ice dispenser (also filtered)! I wish refrigerators were solar powered or could generate their own power so no electricity was necessary! In fact I wish all appliances were made this way! I didnt purchase this brand. It came with a few places I have rented over the years! Yes I was very satisfied with the Maytag brand and prefer it over other brands!

It is efficient. Cooling is very good. Keeps vegetables and perishable fresh for reasonable long period. Sufficient place to store things. Freezer chest is spacious and maintains excellent temperature. It is 18 cu ft. space is sufficient for a family of four. Can store vegetables, meat, chicken, turkey, beer, soda, and many other items. Plenty of shelf space. It is an attractive looking unit. Has gray color and has freezer compartment and larger regular cooling compartment. It is not too tall so we can store light things on top of it. It has excellent value. After a careful use of even five to ten years it commands a very good resale value. I never had any part go bad even after prolonged use.

Kenmore is a brand that has been around for years and has my faith in it. The brand is held highly and the quality name makes me feel good about the purchase. The refrigerator and freezer do serve the purpose that they were purchased. It has a nice amount of room for storage in the refrigerator as well as the freezer. The freezer has an ice maker that makes ice but it clumps together. And even with a new filter the ice maker makes ice that taste like plastic. But I expect the refrigerator to last many years to come.

I feel that it performance is very good. It is a good size for what you need to put inside. The freezer is a nice size also for storage. It keeps your food nice and cold. The size is good for you to store your food. Even when you go shopping and want to put away your food you will have no problem storing the things. The freezer hold a lot also. A nice size. I like the look. A good size - doesnt look too big or too small. Just the right size for a nice size kitchen. I like the color. It fits the color of the kitchen. Very happy with my choice. It was a good price for this size. I feel it was a good value when I bought it. I dont think the amount I paid was too much for what I got. A very good value.

I have had this refrigerator several years. It keeps everything cold, it defrosts itself, and is easy to clean. Side by side gives more room for fridge and freezer, and the water it supplies is cold and good tasting. Ive never had any issues with it in the 10 years Ive had it. Kenmore is my go to brand because it represents quality across the board. There is so much storage space, side by side is so much better than freezer top refrigerators. It has a lot of room to store just about anything on its shelves, in the freezer as well as the refrigerator. My Kenmore refrigerator is a side by side, and has a steel finish that is so easy to keep clean. There is a water and ice machine on the outside of the freezer section, making it accessible for a healthy glass of cold water. This Kenmore side by side refrigerator is well worth the amount I paid for it, and I have not needed repairs since I bought 10 years ago. To me, the Kenmore brand is synonymous with quality.

I enjoy our Kenmore fridge. It has plenty of space for a lot of groceries. If I had to say on anything negative it would be how hard it is to clean out ice drawer. It has made the ice have a funny taste and theres even been debris - maybe rust.

Very little maintenance, nice styling, easy to change filter, water and ice was always nice tasting and free of refrigerator odors, fit the style and decor of the kitchen and other appliances nicely. Size was great at first, eventually we got a bigger one as the family grew. Storage area was a lot bigger than it looked and we could fit quite a few items in the fridge and freezer. Nice organization too. Fit the style of the kitchen nicely. The ice and water dispenser were stylish and looked good with the other appliances. The inside was nicely organized and it was nice to have clear shelves. Very happy with the value of Kenmore products. We got a newer, bigger model but stuck with Kenmore. We have a lot of other appliances that are Kenmore and we are very happy with those as well.

It was a wonderful refrigerator. I had it for 26 years and never had a problem with it. It was the best refrigerator I ever owned. It served me very well. I loved that refrigerator and was quite upset when it quit working. I tried to get it repaired but it was beyond that.

Hidden fees on warranty. Do not buy! Bought Sears Kenmore Elite refrigerator 11-2015. Today is 2-14-18. Model 79574O25411. Outside of one year of purchase they wanted $155 to send technician out to diagnose problem. Then I would be expected to pay labor rate plus any parts outside of warranty in addition to service call fee. I paid another company $75 to diagnose that the compressor was bad. The compressor is under warranty but sears customer service refused to provide compressor as you must use their service people and pay their going rate EVEN IF THE PART IS UNDER WARRANTY. This is practically a new refrigerator ($2500+) with a major part bad (compressor $300+tax). I found out after that this Kenmore Elite is a rebrand (actually made by LG). It had been rated by Consumer Reports as a good model to buy. This is not the case.

I just needed a new refrigerator to keep my food cold and fresh that is inexpensive but effective. The Kenmore ref did everything it was supposed to. It was roomy and I could fit all my groceries in it. It kept the food and the drinks cold and made ice fairly fast.

I had a good experience with Kenmore and a bad one with the one I have now. I cant keep any fruit or produce in it. Everything either freezes or get all wet. I hate the food I waste.

They guy at the store recommended Kenmore Refrigerators. I liked it and it was the right size. It was in my budget and I’m very pleased with it. It was in stock and they were able to bring and put it in right away. It has worked great. It keeps food just the right temp and food always stays fresh. Shelves are sized nicely and it is not noisy which I like. But why do all appliances look the same? I like something different and I wish they came in different colors, like red. And I wish the ice cubes were a different shape. The freezer seems small to me and should be bigger as well.

Has been working for 18 years. It is reliable and long lasting. Never had any problems with it in eighteen years of use. Stays cold. Keeps food cold and frozen in freezer. It is large enough for two people to keep their foods and beverages in it. It would be nice to have one a bit larger though to keep large packs of beverages in. It still looks the same after 18 years of use. The appearance has not deteriorated at all. It is still white and clean looking. I would recommend this fridge because for the price it is really great that it has lasted almost nineteen years now. It is a great value.

Kenmore Elite (Grab-N-Go) Bottom Freezer Refrigerator - The ice maker quit working while still under warranty. End of June it took 2 weeks to get someone to come and look at it July 13. Person had to order parts and come back July 28. Still did not work, more parts and come back August 15. Still did not work, more parts and come back Sept 27. Yet again more parts and come back today Oct 6. If you had not figured it out yet. It still does not work. They are going to come back again.I have had 3 different Techs and the same part was replaced 3 times along with other parts. Now they say the problem could be something different. If this is Kenmore Elite I can only guess what less than ELITE would be like. I ask person a call center about replacing the entire refrigerator and she was not helpful and would not address my questions. I asked to speak to her supervisor and she hung up on me. I called back and got another person who was helpful and spoke to a supervisor who tried to be helpful, but I think I ask questions not on his script. But he was nice and tried to be helpful.

The performance of my refrigerator is great. I havent gotten any problems with it. It has an amazing light which allows me to see and keep all my groceries edible for a pleasing time. I have to say that it isnt too big or too small! It allows me to put the right amount of groceries I need and maybe a little extra. The color of the refrigerator is this amazing silver but it isnt a silver that is too bright almost like a fake looking silver. It is more like a grayish color. Its very attractive and easy to clean. This refrigerator is worth the price. Its value is amazing! It works wonders and its absolutely a purchase that makes your kitchen not only look great but make things easier.

My Kenmore lasted 15 years. It had plenty of door space as well as freezer space, kept food at a constant temperature. Mine was a 15 cubic foot single door with top freezer. I would personally recommend a Kenmore to anyone.

I have always trusted Kenmore and was able to purchase at a reasonable price. My family wanted a standard fridge without a bunch of extra features and were able to find one at a reasonable price. I believe it was under 400 dollars.

I bought our 1st kenmore fridge about 15 years ago. It served us very well. Never had a problem with it until about three years ago the old girl just finally gave up. We had such good luck with that one we went out, got a new one. I would highly recommend Kenmore appliances.

It was always keeping the right temperature and easy to clean. I also liked the different drawers for veggies and fruit and also the lunch meat. It seemed to be just what I needed. It held my condiments, dairy, vegetables, and fruit and was just the right size for my families groceries. The freezer was also just what I needed as far as space-wise. It was actually a simple model. It had the wire racks and the plastic drawers. The outside was generally plain which kept decorating fairly easy. I feel that I got my moneys worth for what I was looking for. The areas for certain items were perfect for my family of 4. The kids snacks were easy to get to and allowed me to keep our food organized.

The refrigerator is quiet, produces great ice. Food stays fresh for a long period of time. I have not had any issues with the refrigerator. The size is enough to satisfy the needs of the family. Lunch meats, drinks, snacks, fruit, and other items can all be stored separately for ease of access. The refrigerator is black and matches well with the rest of the appliances I own. The handles make it look like a high-end appliance. Having the freezer at the bottom allows for more room for food items that are used more often. I feel I received my moneys worth for this appliance. Having an appliance I can trust at a competitive price is important to me. The appliance serves the needs of the family and durable, reliable, and has lasted many years without any repairs.

It is well equipped to use and I can easily go open the refrigerator and explore my likings. It has a fast freezing freezer in which I can place my goods to freeze and then open back up to heat up and eat. The size is big enough to sort out the things you want on each level. I am tall enough to reach anything I need and come out and be satisfied with the product I picked out. I like my size of the refrigerator. All my products are gift to have on a fast paced day. The appearance is great and is fresh and clean and has an amazing build that cannot be broken down in any way. It has fabulous liners that are well crafted and all ages have easy access to the refrigerator. I love the appearance will it brings. The value is convenient at a good price and I am satisfied with the price. Everything that comes in with the refrigerator is worth the admission and Im glad my family has a refrigerator that fits everything it is supposed to acquire so that good products can be in it.

This is the best fridge that I have owned. Ive had 0 issues in the couple of years of owning it. Side by side is an excellent addition to my home. The freezer portion is a little small for my needs, but I make do. I bulk freeze a lot of items. The fridge side is perfect and has enough options for adjustability to fit everything I need for a family. I love the stainless steel appearance. It holds up well to abuse. The brushed looks helps hide minor scratches. The only issue I have is keeping fingerprints off the stainless steel. I am very pleased with the value of this fridge. The size vs the value was just right for my family of four. The added value of the water dispenser is a great addition.

I like Kenmore because it’s made by Sears and this white, wide top, side by side, frost free refrigerator is next day free delivery. Its with a 10 yr warranty which is the best deal Ive seen in years.

I did a lot of research on refrigerators before I purchased mine. I chose Kenmore for the price and because it had a well-known reputation. I really enjoyed but the model is a side-by-side refrigerator/freezer. I also like that I can get water, regular ice, and crushed ice, from the front of the unit. I find that extremely convenient. But the freezer space is a little bit small and the icemaker takes up a lot of room. It is hard to fit in larger boxes.

We loved this appliance. We used it for a few years until we sold our house and let the refrig stay. We never had any problems with it and it ran without any issues. Our refrig was about 26 cu ft, I believe. We are a family of 4 with 5 dogs and we needed a lot of space to store lunches and leftovers in. The appearance was very classic looking, nothing too fancy but it was plenty for what we needed it for. It fit into our kitchen like a charm. Had plenty of storage space for lunch meats, fruits and vegetables. This is a very good value. You are getting your moneys worth when you buy a Kenmore appliance. They run forever and never have any problems and if you do, the service dept is there to fix it for you in a flash.

Purchased on 2/16/15. Delivered 4/2/15. 8/22/15 - Called for repair - Motor broke -- All food spoiled. Several repairs and parts ordered over months. Motor broke, Motherboard broke, 6 boxes of parts delivered to house for install. Still no fridge to use. Sears offered no loaner, nothing for our family. After working for 1 month with Christian, from the Los Altos Appliance Dept., a new one was traded out in November 2015 -- I purchased 3 year extended warranty on the replacement.7/28/17 - Fridge. temp read 33 degrees ** but food felt less cold to touch. 8/4 - 8/6/17-- All food spoiling. went to Los Altos Sears for help. Salesman said they couldnt help. Said to call 800 - 4 my home. 8/6/17 - Called above number and was placed on emergency repair list by Greg. Soonest appt. may be Aug 15th but they may call to come in at a moments notice anytime before then if there is extra time in the schedule, maybe. Getting an ice chest for milk, etc and taking any food that is still good, to friends for them to keep cold in their fridge. Now we wait 9 days??? I have emails with the Sears Help websites. So many years of Sears good name just.

Kenmore Elite fridge. This is the fifth time they have been out to fix fridge. Doesn’t stay cold. Purchased Nov 2016. Installed May 2017. Broken May 2018, July 2018, Sept 2018 and April 2019. Now broken again July 2019 and they will not say it’s a lemon. So frustrating. Don’t buy horrible product and no customer service.

I purchased a Kenmore Refrigerator Model # 795.78412.800 in the Fall of 2008. The unit had to be unplugged and plugged back in to reset in order for it to work (had to do that at least 5 times since purchase). After a year, the bottom shelf hardware broke and the crisper drawer cracked and had to be repaired (see pictures). In June 2012, an error code came on the freezer door and the icemaker was no longer working! I had a repairman come to look at the problem for a $500.00 fix (we choose not to fix it at this time)! After reading the reviews, it seems if you fix the fan for $500.00, there is still a good chance of it breaking again. This is ridiculous since this unit is less than 5 years old! I think a credit on a new fridge is warranted! I have been a loyal Kenmore buyer over the years but have been severely disappointed with the poor quality of this refrigerator.

Had a family member who worked in the warehouse. Got it at a reduced price for a little bit of superficial damage. Plus at the time I had a Sears credit card so that was easier to not have to put any money upfront. But the good part was never had any problems out of it. No maintenance issues or nothing. Unit was purchased in 1992 when I bought the brand new house and I owned for 13 years. The unit had a built-in ice machine and had the built-in water dispenser. The refrigerator seem to be the right height for both my wife and I and we never had no problems getting into the unit or above the unit because it was encased on three sides. However, the refrigerator unit had a matte texture to it. This texture was hard to keep clean because of the pits in it. I would have made it with a smooth finish or I wouldnt have to worry about actually using a scrubber to get into the surface and get fingerprints and stuff I guess for the kids off of but we never had any mechanical problems out of it. It always seem to run just the way it was. Never overheated. Never had to call the repairman so I was really satisfied with it.

Purchase date of the fridge - 26 September 2017 $2500.00 at Sears. On 28 September 2018 the compressor on the unit broke. The cost to repair will be upwards of $500. Im told that thousands of these Kenmore units have the same issue with the compressor and that it was made to last a year only. I need to wait 3 weeks for Sears to schedule the service technician - That equates to 3 weeks minimum with no refrigerator! A local technician told me that the new compressor, once installed, will most likely last a year - possibly two. I wish I would have read the reviews prior to purchasing. Sears should be ashamed of their service and their product and I feel strongly that this refrigerator should be recalled or that there should be a class action lawsuit against Sears/LG/Kenmore. PLEASE - do yourself a favor and stay clear of this product.

My refrigerator is four years old, and it has been trouble-free. I bought it on-line from Sears, and it was delivered and set up without issue. Its quiet and couldnt be happier with its performance and appearance.

Good brand. I feel happy because I have brand my family and I can trust. Its a modern refrigerator and I feel happy. Kenmore is a modern refrigerator and good quality. I really love my refrigerator. I used this brand before and I wanted to do again and I dont regret because I feel happy and I would like to recommend my friends, family. Have a brilliant color, have so much space inside. They have in nice colors and make it more attracted for the customers. Value is great but I would like could be a little least because in this days salary is not so high and some people cant buy an expensive refrigerator.

It looks great, regulates template properly, easy to clean. There is not a lot of frost build up so the freezer holds food great. I have had mine for 6 years and would recommend it to anyone. Easy to move if needed.

I chose a Kenmore refrigerator for its great features, matching colors, and good price. Some models of other brands are excessively overpriced. The Kenmore fridge has met my initial expectations excellently. I like the water and ice dispensers, the height adjustable shelves and door units, the beverage rack, the spacious interior, and the water filter is very easy to replace. The interior design of the freezer could be slightly improved to accommodate more frozen foods like those found at the grocery store than it does currently.

Do NOT buy a Kenmore Elite refrigerator from Sears. We purchased one in 2011. It broke down in September due to a failure of the refrigerant system, but Sears has been unwilling and unable to repair it. They stalled us, made us wait weeks for repairs, lied to us and finally tricked us into believing our warranty was not with them. They told us the warranty was with the manufacturer, LG. This, we found out, was a lie. It is now November and we have no refrigerator and Sears refuses to stand behind their product. They said their hands are tied. This was an expensive appliance and should not have had problems after only 4 years. That said, Sears has made it impossible with their 3 week appointment windows for repairs, never having the right parts, not showing up for appointments, excuses, and then deceiving us with their warranty story. All with no apologies for the time and trouble. We bought this Kenmore refrigerator in good faith, thinking it was the best we could get. Sears is NOT the same company that it used to be and we are done with them.

Kept produce cold, freezer had constant temperature, good air circulation with very little frost. Both freezer and fridge are easy to clean and have good insulation. A bit larger than what Im used to but it can fit anything you need. I never ran out of space and it kept everything a constant temperature whether it was empty or full. Surfaces are easy to clean, handles are comfortable to use. Typical pricing when compared to other fridges, slightly more expensive but it is also a well known brand so I can deal with that. Good warranty available.

I dont have it anymore, but when i did it was a good fridge, had good adequate storage, kept things cold and lasted a long time. I would definitely order another one down the road. We never had any problems fitting groceries into the fridge or freezer. It always accommodated all of our weekly groceries. It also fit everything in it for parties as well. It was ok from a visual perspective. It was white and kind of plain. But it did match the rest of our kitchen appliances and thus blended in well so I gave it a satisfied rating. It was durable and quiet, had great storage, lasted over sixteen years before dying. It held up its end of the bargain. So we were pleased with its functioning.

This refrigerator is manufactured by LG. It looks great however don’t let that fool you. It’s a piece of junk! After just 3 years the compress, and cooling fan failed. The internet is full of complaints about this refrigerator and LG about the compressors failing. It’s a major issues and very costly to repair. The compressor is covered. You see the warranty however expect the labor to cost about $500 bucks for the repair. I complained to Sears to no avail. A relative of mine has the same refrigerator in the LG brand and the compressor has gone out 4 times in two years. So it is common for them to go out numerous times. LG should step up and recall these refrigerators and offer replacements. I definitely see a class action lawsuit coming. This is a major design flaw! Do not buy Kenmore elite or LG you will regret it!

I really enjoyed my Kenmore refrigerator. It is recognized as a top appliance brand for years. I grew up with a Kenmore refrigerator in my childhood home. Now as an adult I bought this brand for my own home because of the good experiences in my past. At this point I have had my refrigerator for about 4 years and I havent had a problem with it even once. It definitely serves its purpose of keeping my food and drinks cool and the temperature is always perfect.

The product is very roomy and has enough storage for all of our groceries for the month. Keeps everything fresh and its top of the line! We never have any trouble keeping our veggies and fruits for an extended periods of time because the crispers keep a constant separate temperature from the rest of the fridge.

I bought two Kenmore Energy star refrigerators one for my use and one for my rental unit. The energy use is very low as stated by the company, less than a sixty watt bulb. Both refrigerators keep food warm and cozy in the fridge section, and the freezer sections are always below the freezing point. If you keep the doors closed and the thermostat set at max cold you get very stable temperatures as shown in the picture. Freezer +/- 32 and Fridge +/- 15. This review is relevant for 6000 and 7000 series of Kenmore top freezer models, hope it helps.

We bought this fridge new at a scratch and dent appliance center. It was delivered on September 23 and by January 7 it stopped working efficiently after 115 days. The service tech says it is a bad/leaking evaporator, so we are awaiting news of what will happen next. A Major inconvenience to say the least. We have gone to the dealer once already today and will need to return to negotiate what happens next. The warranty was only for 90 days, so hopefully we can work something out.

I have had it for years and never had any problems. It has been steady and efficient, cools nice, freezer works great as well. No complaints here from me. Its perfect size and its not overbearing as well. Its not some huge bulk fridge thats hard to move. It fits nicely in your kitchen but yet isnt small either, great size actually. Its white, easy to clean and hasnt faded in color over time. I have had mine for years and years and it still looks great. It truly stands the test of time. It was priced fair but I always want a better deal. Its not the fridge, its me. Im a frugal shopper. Plus, with how many years it lasted the value has been great.

I love my Kenmore fridge it keeps my food cold, my meats stay frozen and it keeps my fruits fresh and freshness is good for my food. My son puts stickers on it. His juice and milk he loves last longer. Also, it fits all my items like meats, juice, soda, etc. The size is great and huge. I just love it so much wouldnt change it at all. If you need a good fridge the kenmore is great. Not too expensive. Sells for at least 200 to 300 or more depends on the size type and it keeps food fresh longer. If my old one breaks I will buy another kenmore. They are a good brand and their products last long. I will recommend it to all my friends and family.

Its been more than 10 years since weve had a Kenmore refrigerator. It was not energy smart, but otherwise worked fine for our family. We had trouble with Sears in the delivery, however, which was quite unsatisfactory. So the next time we needed a refrigerator we did not go to Sears and instead got a Whirlpool which was the same model as a Kenmore.

The freezer storage drawers really need to be redesigned... Or the hardware that holds them must be redesigned. Either way, the first drawer from the bottom cant be used. The size was fine for our family of four. Any bigger would have been unnecessary. However, it would have been nice if the water dispenser was higher for bigger glasses. The appearance was fine, as we needed stainless steel to match the other appliances. However, it never really looked clean... Very streaky. The value was good for that specific appliance. If we wanted the fancier Viking or Wolf, it wouldnt have worked with our budget. Kenmore offered the same as Whirlpool or Maytag which cost more.
