It is quite adequate. There are 3 drawers for fruits, vegetables and meats. And the shelves are adjustable. It lasted a long time with little need for repair. Im very happy with it.

I love my refrigerator because its modern and very easy to use. I would recommend this to family and friends, goes with any color paint of the house. My refrigerator is about a medium size with nice width and height, can fit nicely into the area where the refrigerator goes. My refrigerator is a newer model and it all stainless steel, with black handles. Its wide and its tall, nice and heavy. Well because the refrigerator is modern, the value of it is very nice. Its stainless steel and stainless steel is in nowadays so the value is very awesome.

And they are very affordable. Its energy efficient. It runs well. A very great refrigerator. They are very great quality, available in different sizes. Nice to have in the kitchen.

Last summer my electric company was promoting upgrading older but running refrigerator with a new energy-efficient and paid $50 to customers who did so. My old refrigerator was already 20 year old but working just fine. I used the false logic that at 20 years old it makes sense to upgrade before old-dependable wore out. (Never needed service in 20 yrs!) Bought a new Kenmore 18 cu ft model from my local Sears store Aug 2016. Six months later it stops working. I find all the food inside is warm and frozen foods completely thawed. Sears repairman came out and quickly diagnosed the problem, states it is common for these units to leak out all the refrigerant. Asks if it is under 30 days old because Sears will just give me a new one but if over 30 days I must let them repair it. Compressor burnt out in less than 1 yr! I should have never gotten rid of my old refrigerator. Sears just lost another loyal customer; all of our appliance purchases has always been Kenmore.

My sweet wife purchased the Kenmore refrigerator/freezer seven months ago. The purpose was to place it in our attached backroom and keep gourmet meats, game, wild fish and wild game fowl in the freezer, and store non-perishable refrigerated items in the refrigerator section. I am a gourmet chef and I enjoy cooking special meals for my wife, children and guests. She opened the freezer two evenings ago and found most of the meats were soft. We disposed of the fowl and fishes immediately. We inspected the meats and saved some. The next morning the freezer temperature was 20℉. Oh joys, the appliance works sometimes, and sometimes it doesnt. Not a good place to store food safely.She called Kenmore warranty and got a person quickly. Sure we can get someone out there in a few weeks. My wife attempted to get a serviceman quickly as we have, had expensive meats, some at $60.00 per pound. Next Tuesday was provided, sadly we needed to turn it down as we will be with our special son in a hospital that day. So the day was pushed out a week. Still it was better than a few weeks. Would I suggest buying an appliance from Kenmore, (company owned by Whirlpool), no, never, please do not. A device which works correctly, then fails, then works again. I am glad we noticed as I have had food poisoning twice which is very painful and can be life threatening.

Kenmore in my opinion is one of the best brands available. The first kenmore I purchased was a rather older used one but it still worked great. When it was upgrade time I decided to get a brand new kenmore and it is well worth the money. The temperature control is easy to adjust, the shelves offer enough space for my needs, and best of all with a toddler its easy to clean.

I like the stainless steel outside, which is easy to keep clean, but the door doesnt hold a full dozen eggs. So I have mixed feelings about our refrig. Next time I buy a refrigerator, I will definitely make sure the door is the right size.

It is easy to adjust and maintain the temperature. There is more than adequate spacing for foods. Fits my kitchen well. The shelves hold tall as well at deep items. The drawers are big enough to hold vegetables. I like the clean lines this model has. It is easy to clean and it complements the appliances I have in the kitchen. It does not dominate the area and is the good width and height for the area. I expect this refrigerator to last many years and I checked online for other similar models and prices. This model seems to give me the most for my money.

Purchased a Kenmore Elite Fridge Side by Side, with Ice Maker attached to door. Ice Maker broke in 2 years and cant be fixed apparently the wiring broke from opening and closing the doors. This should have been a recall product, drawers falling apart. Consumers really need to research. We finally broke down and purchased a new refrigerator after 15 years and this happens.

Keeps everything cold and it also keeps the freezer stuff just as it should. It is not noisy and it last. I have had mine for a few years now. The size is great to hold everything and also everything fits great. There is a lot of space. It is a great brand and it fits my needs. I will buy this brand again if I should ever need another one. It looks great and I like the style. The price is great. It fits well with the brand and the style. I like that there is a top and a bottom. I also seen the side by side. No matter what style you get it will be great.

I do not think about the refrigerator or its functionality so therefore, I think that it is a good thing. It does what is expected with no interruptions. It is reliable and handles my cold storage needs providing adequate space and well designed interiors for placement and storage for a variety of items.

We purchased four Kenmore applications 3 years ago… to my disappointment the refrigerator stopped working and I did not get an extended warranty. I thought if I was investing my hard earned money on a name like Kenmore it would last longer than that. But to my amazement even when I’m paying to have it fixed I have to wait 1 weeks to get it fixed. We took time off to get it fixed just to get a call at 4:00 that he’s not coming. Now we have to wait another 8 days before they come. I do not recommend anyone to purchase Kenmore appliances. We are not happy nor are we satisfied with their service or products.

My experiences with the Kenmore refrigerator was nothing but great. It has great shelf space. It also has wonderful freeze capacity and keep my frozen food frozen. It was easy to keep clean with the removable shelves. I recommend it to anyone, it is very durable and long lasting.

It was a refrigerator worth what I paid for it. Bought it 7 years ago and havent had any problems with it. Thinking of upgrading to a side-by-side and will definitely be a Kenmore. We bought this model when all the kids left home and fits our needs, but since couponing will be upgrading for a bigger freezer. Really like the big shelf space and size of door space. Definitely recommend. I like that this model doesnt take up a whole lot of space. When we bought it we lived in a mobile home and didnt have a lot of kitchen space so this particular model was perfect size. This refrigerator was not really expensive and that was a major factor when selecting it, besides size. We have had it for seven years and never any problems so very well worth the price, and I look to get about one third of what I paid when I go to sell it.

It is reliable on keeping your cold stuff cold and your frozen stuff frozen and it has good storage space to organize your frozen and or refrigerated items in. The size is adequate to fit all your different frozen and refrigerated items in without taking up too much of your kitchen space. It has two different drawer to separate your fruits and vegetables in as well as two more shelves to put all the rest of your refrigerated items on. Its simple design makes it really easy to fit into any kitchen space without looking tacky. This is really a great refrigerator for its value. Its affordable. Its reliable without costing you an arm and a leg.

I know I had one many years ago and dont recall ever having any problems with it. I dont remember how many cubic feet (size) or the model (top freezer, side by side, bottom freezer, etc) of it. I dont even remember what color it was.

I bought the Kenmore Elite model # 795.74025.410. It is the 29.8 cu. ft. French door bottom-freezer refrigerator. We are happy with the active finish, room and layout, but that is the end of it. The excessive noise I can live with, the lack of ice capacity too, even resetting it a couple times a week so that the water/ice dispenser works, But ice build up to the point that drawers cant even close? You want to buy a Kenmore product? That will be ok, just buy the extended warranty for as long as you want the unit to last. I for one did not buy it, and sure enough 1 year past its purchase date (just past its manufacturer warranty) and found out about all the ice it was building on the walls and behind the drawers. We had to take all of the food out and de-ice it like it was my parents fridge in 1970s.

If you buy a Kenmore Elite French door be very sure you are buying one made by Whirlpool not made by LG. If you are told it is a LG, RUN. I have a $2000 Kenmore Elite French Door bought Aug. 09, 2013 that I am junking. Had it worked on by the only local guy locally. He put on new parts and could not fix. Takes Sears home repair at least 3 weeks to come. Sears does not offer any help and could care less. Wants you to buy a warranty for $49.95 a month to cover repairs up to $500. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING LG or KENMORE ELITE.

We havent had any problems. Everything is in working order. Cools and freezes fine. Works well, and we really love the ice maker and water dispenser. It is large enough to hold everything we need. 2 liters, gallons of milk, and twelve packs fit just fine in the fridge side. It is usually never even full... even the freezer. It looks fine. Just a regular refrigerator. It blends in well with our other appliances. It is white, so it has to be wiped down regularly to get rid of handprints and such. It does what we need it to for the price we paid. We are happy with the value.

I purchased a Kenmore Coldspot model #105 March 8th of 2014. Last year had a factory water line break and ruin my kitchen floor and drywall in the basement. I filed a claim and received a check for the damages (No problem things happen). Now 1 year and 4 months after purchase (4 months past the expiration date of the warranty) the fridge has stopped cooling. Had to take all of our food to my wifes grandmas house at 10:30 at night. Called the repair service line and they tell me since its out of warranty it will cost me 90 dollars plus whatever parts are needed to get a technician out to the house. OR pay 40 dollars for the extended warranty and then 60 dollars every time a tech has to come out. I feel like a fridge should last AT LEAST 5-10 years right? If Im forced to buy a replacement then I will never buy from Sears again. Im so outraged I can barely think. What can I do?

The freezer kept everything very cold, didnt have a problem with it over freezing, and refrigerator was perfect in temperature, easy to adjust and keep clean. I chose this model because it was the perfect size for my apartment. It was the perfect height. I could easily store canisters atop. I would recommend this model. Black was a great color choice. The color was sleek, easy to clean, the color compliments all finishes in kitchen, easily stands out, at the same time does not overwhelmed with black color. I think large appliances are expensive overall, at the same time this was a great value for the size, model and color, easy to resale and hold the original value paid.

Much like the other reviews, I have had several problems with my refrigerator and lost a significant amount of food and money because of it. I spent all of last summer without a fridge because the technicians couldnt figure out that it was not the compressor (after 3 times coming to my house). It was some unit in the back that had burned and the coolant was leaking out. After paying over $500 to fix that, I am now waiting on hold for an hour because its not working again! It hasnt even been a year. And once again I lost food. I will not be purchasing from Kenmore or Sears again!

Our kenmore bottom mount refrigerator Type BMA 19F is leaking water on the hardwood floor. The refrigerator is not even 2 years old. What do we do? This could wreck our floor and of course the warranty is finished.

2006-2007 Kenmore trio 76583: On Friday, a day before houseful of guest (30 people), the freezer was not getting cold and everything was defrosted. Then the next day, the fridge stopped working. We have had issues with food freezing in the fridge and had to throw away a lot of fruits and vegetables. I have an old Amana that is 28 years old and it still works, and paid about $400.00. The Kenmore cost me about $1,800 or more and stops working in 6 years. What kind of junk is Sears selling these days? Always thought that Sears was a good brand, but not anymore.

I liked the good quality and name recognition. I saw a great advertisement regarding Kenmore when I was looking for a refrigerator that really swayed me. I wanted a dependability refrigerator and Kenmore seemed like a good choice to me in that regard. It kept my food and other items at a constant temperature that was cold enough to prevent my food from going bad which is exactly what I wanted it to do. However, it is scratched easily when in daily use and it scratched the floor as well whenever I tried to move it. It is costly to repair as well. I had it break down once and it cost an arm and a leg.

Kenmore is a well-known brand. We have always heard that Kenmore is a great product and even when I was a child, my parents bought Kenmore appliances. We have a very small kitchen and Kenmore was one of only a few products that had the right size that we needed. We couldnt beat the price at the time and my parents had a Kenmore refrigerator too. Our Kenmore refrigerator lasted 10 years with 2 kids and a husband that were constantly opening and closing it. It was also very spacious to keep a lot of food and it never leaked like the refrigerator that I have now. But we would have liked an ice maker instead of having to make ice cubes on a daily basis since theres 4 people in my house. Nevertheless, we would buy a Kenmore again.

I purchased a Kenmore refrigerator with a bottom freezer in September 2017. Ive had the technician over twice already. The problems associated with this are loss of food; inconvenience and the mental stress I go through each time I call because I have to wait a minimum of seven (7) days for an appointment. When I complained to the customer service rep I was told that they only label appliances non functioning after FOUR visits.This is a very poor business model from a company whose main product is appliances. So here I am once again in the middle of summer with a refrigerator that is not sending cold air up from the freezer to the refrigerator so I dont even have cold water. Shameful. I would not recommend anyone purchase appliances from them unless they have a guarantee to have service in 24 hours from when the request is made. And yes! I did pay $241 for an extended coverage and the service still sucks.

Has always been a trusted appliance. Never had an issue. My parents have always used this brand and it was recommended that I get one as well. Looking forward to the next generation of fridges from them. The freezer could be bigger in the model I have. There is never enough room for everything for the month. Shelves could be made more sturdy too. Overall has always performed well, just the design inside needs to be better. I have a traditional white model, looking forward to updating to a stainless steel one. I have seen they also have ones with computer chips in them, I am guess Frigidaire has them too. They are getting a bit pricey these days, that I have noticed. Would be nice if they offered a trade in option for existing fridges to help cut down on the cost.

The refrigerator is attractive. Mine was black and fits in well with other Kenmore appliances in the kitchen. It was not too shiny and cleaned up by just using a normal kitchen cleaning solution. Plenty of room and lasted for 10+ years for a family of four. It has drawers for vegetables and meats and there is a place in the door for milk and juices. The shelves can be adjusted for different heights and the ice maker works well. The ice maker and ability to access the water without opening the door is a money saving benefit. Also easy for children to use without constantly opening the door. The cost was very reasonable for the quality of the appliance. Kenmore is a name you can trust and rely on.

Top freezer door malfunction! Almost every time you close the refrigerator door, the freezer door pops open! UGH!! I have come home to thawed and ruined freezer items too many times after someone else did not know this problem closed the fridge door! The fridge is not level so we know that is not the problem! We first purchased our Kenmore Elite french door refrigerator about 5 years ago. Right after our one-year warranty had expired we started having issues. The fan in the freezer would freeze over, causing a terrible, loud noise, and causing the freezer to warm. Then the ice maker would quit. After numerous Sears repairmen came and replaced the compressor, the computer panel, defrosted the fan, etc. etc. they finally offered us a new frig. Our now two-year-old frig is beginning to have all the same issues. It is making a terrible noise as the freezer fan has frozen again. We have thawed it out numerous times for this same problem, but it recurs over and over. Now the door water/ice has stopped.My sister has a two-year old exact model Kenmore elite frig, and they have already had theirs replaced for the same reason. I can understand one lemon, but three? Today we had another repairman out (not Sears), and he told us these refrigerators are no longer made in the US and the quality has plummeted. He said our problems are very common, unfortunately, and he would NEVER buy one himself. So do not listen to reviews of those who have only had one for under a year... they will have problems soon enough Im sure. It looks pretty enough, but having TWO $2800 refrigerators malfunction when they are only two years old is incredibly frustrating. DO NOT BUY!!!

It has three shelves inside to easily stack the food for freezes. It even has a pull out drawer for extra storage. When food is kept in there it stays nice and cold. It is big like the size of a full-size fridge, except for the fact that it is all freezer. It has lots of space inside and very deep too. It is a tall, white, solid color freezer that is square in shape. It also needs a fairly big space to fit into. Overall it has great value and I would highly recommend this freezer. Since I bought it I have never had a problem with it. It runs nice and quietly.

I bought a Kenmore bottom freezer fridge from Sears in 2017. After about 6 months I noticed a pool of water in my fridge. After calling a refrigeration company (because Sears had closed in our town at this point) I was advised to unplug and thaw my fridge. It worked ok, but after about three months my fridge had a bottom full of water and was warm. So, I thawed it again and that worked for 6 more month! Haha! Now it has died. This fridge is only 1 1/2 years old!! I decided to look at the reviews for this fridge, ya know, for fun, of course they are terrible! Lesson learned. I will research more for my next fridge. The freezer storage drawers really need to be redesigned... Or the hardware that holds them must be redesigned. Either way, the first drawer from the bottom cant be used. The size was fine for our family of four. Any bigger would have been unnecessary. However, it would have been nice if the water dispenser was higher for bigger glasses. The appearance was fine, as we needed stainless steel to match the other appliances. However, it never really looked clean... Very streaky. The value was good for that specific appliance. If we wanted the fancier Viking or Wolf, it wouldnt have worked with our budget. Kenmore offered the same as Whirlpool or Maytag which cost more.

Designed to fall apart. Veg/cooler bins on the bottom literally fall apart if not very, very carefully opened/closed, which you must do slowly or the drawers fall out. Freezer is inconveniently designed and items fall through the grated bottoms. Had to put big plastic bins in to prevent this. Light bulb in the freezer is useless, lasted less than a month. You also have to be extremely careful to place items away from the bulb, which is positioned so you cant see it, to avoid breakage. Amount of inside available space compared to outside dimensions is horrible. Huge thing, little space. Will never buy this brand again.

Its ok and satisfied with this refrigerator. It works great and has all that I want. Ample storage space for refrigerator and freezing purposes. Also good space on doors for condiments and large sized bottles for beverages and soda. Great exteriors and stainless steel is easy to maintain and easy to clean and polish and keep it up like new and easy to wipe the stains and finger spots. It was not overly expensive and was well within budget, plus we got some incentives with this purchase, so it was a great value when combined with the incentives.

Its a pretty decent appliance. I think Ive only used Kenmore refrigerators. They work. The compartments are a decent size. The gap on the side doors are a little wide and condiments sometimes slip out. Its a pretty good size. I wouldnt buy another pullout freezer though. A side by side is probably my next purchase. It doesnt take that much room considering its a refrigerator. Its a simple clean look, which is what one would want. The inside is just as simple and clean. I like the handles specifically, how they run along the whole door but it doesnt look out of place. Very sleek design.

I am now using a Kenmore refrigerator. It is a side by side model. I have had it for a few years and have not had any issues. I love how I can control the temperature with a slight tap and it works quickly. The only problem I have had is with the shelves inside the refrigerator. The shelves break and crack so easily. I hate that I had to replace them so soon. They should have lasted longer without cracking. Why should I have to replace them so soon. I expected them to last longer than a few years. I am displeased with the shelves.

Kenmore 596 fridge now close to five years old. Within year one, ice maker broke (repaired twice and then replaced). Year two, water leaking on the floor caused by automatic defrost clogged drain plug. Replaced drain plug, defrosted ice dam and fixed ice maker - Sears repair bill = $225. Ice maker stopped working two weeks later. Year 4 - compressor dies. Sears repairman here 3 times over 3 weeks - freon leak - unrepairable. Repairman had to request approval for new fridge. We need to wait 36 hours for answer. 20 days without fridge. Unacceptable.

Kenmore Refrigerators have good temperature control and nice drawers. Overall cubic feet is fine but side by side really limits overall size especially for large containers. Much too narrow of a door. It has good options with adjustable shelfs. Overall performance has been good but very frustrating that ice maker broke after a few years. Value is ok but considering how much these costs the ice maker should not break. Should at minimum have a lifetime or very long warranty on the ice maker.

My Kenmore refrigerator works fine and Ive had it for years (7) so far. No problem with either cooling or freezing. My indoor water and ice maker work really well. They stand up to a lot of hard use. Kids, friends, husband, and me all use it. It had been durable. Easy to change the filters also. Im happy with the fridge. We also got a really good deal on it as Sears had a sale. I would recommend it to anyone.

Sears replaced the bad fan. Theres a new part with a heater to prevent future freeze ups.

I just needed a new refrigerator to keep my food cold and fresh that is inexpensive but effective. The Kenmore ref did everything it was supposed to. It was roomy and I could fit all my groceries in it. It kept the food and the drinks cold and made ice fairly fast.

After buying 5 refrigerators over the past 5 years, we finally got the one we love, is huge, everything works great, and looks good. We cant shop enough to fill this side by side with built in ice maker with water.

It kept the stuff inside at cold temperature and kept it from spoiling quickly. It was easy to put in place. It was very easy to clean. It was able to keep a few gallons of fluids inside with good space left over for other things. There are a good amount of compartments to keep things organized. It is roomy and easy to move things around. The refrigerator looks nice and sleek. It fits in with just about any kitchen style without being underwhelming or over the top. It does not stain easily. The refrigerator is great for the price. It is very durable. It doesnt use up too much electricity while keeping everything in it cold.

Im on my third Kenmore and have been fairly lucky with it. This model has a tendency for the drawers to fall out but other than that its been good. Its got a big top freezer and lots of storage space in the fridge part. The switch that operates the light doesnt work anymore but everything else works fine. I guess its 15 yrs. old.

I have a side by side. Refrigerator section is small for larger items. Next refrigerator is going to lower freezer section with the refrigerator on the top. We would really like the refrigerator section to be large enough to put pizza boxes etc. in.

The have never had trouble out of the freezer or cooling elements. This refrigerator has been perfect for my family of four. Everything I buy has always fit in either freezer or refrigerator part. I always have to be careful not to stack too high in freezer cause it tends to shoot all the cold air into fridge part. It offers a original and simplistic view of a refrigerator. It is perfect for our older house. I like that it doesnt take up too much room and it is simple to maintain its appearance. It offers everything someone absolutely has to have in a fridge. It is a necessity and this refrigerator is a wonderful value with it offering a freezer part also. Its big enough for a family to use.

The ice maker water line from my Kenmore refrigerator 7425, unknown to me, had a crimp in it when installed and after 4 years developed a small hole. The water leaked under my kitchen cabinets, causing thousands of dollars in replacement costs. At the outset of the leak, there was no visible evidence since the water spread out toward the back of the cabinets. According to my plumber, the crimp was there when the refrigerator was new and installed that way. This refrigerator was rated highly by Consumer Reports and might be a good refrigerator if it wasnt for the shoddy parts and attention from installers.

This was our first refrigerator we bought after we got married and it worked great. A simple fridge to get us started and it held everything we bought for just the two of us. Even had room to store food made for company.

My experience was very satisfactory. We priced around at many stores, including Best Buy, Silver City, Appliance City, etc. The price of this refrigerator was better than the other stores. The refrigerator was almond color and matched well with my kitchen. It was of ample size and was easy to place large items like pizzas, turkeys, etc. It also kept the foods at proper temps and lasted many years without needing repair. I would most likely purchase stainless steel and Kenmore in the future. I would like this for all of my appliances.

The refrigerator kept most of the food cold, however it had poor vegetable humidity control. The meat container sections were well-spaced but I prefer have a single compartment instead of using a multi-spaced compartment area to store your rock-hard meats. The refrigerator was well-spaced and it had decent legroom for standing inside of it, however when it comes to freezer room, there was not enough space. Yes it was overall not great.

I really like and prefer the side by side doors rather than the classic top and bottom. Ice and water dispenser is also a must have. Another important feature I look for is adjustable shelves. No one person is the same and the same goes for food organization in your refrigerator. This Kenmore refrigerator caught my attention because the sale price and the features I previously described. However, I dont care much for stainless steel anymore as I find it more difficult to keep clean and looking nice with children in the home. This refrigerator is also very heavy and hard to move. Once a year I do spring cleaning and my previous refrigerator was quite easy to move to clean around. This thing is a beast and took both my husband and myself to move for five minutes of cleaning. There should be some kind of wheels or something to assist in this.

The performance on it is beyond excellent on it. Ive never had issues with it and I have had it quite awhile. At first I was sketched about it but Im glad I listened to my daughter and bought it. The size is very very very very spacious. I love this fridge so much, it is so so so cool. In the future I am in hopes that I can buy another one or convince someone to buy one just like mine. The appearance looks so good I love love love love love it. I bought this product awhile back and in my opinion it still looks brand new. For the price I myself paid the value is excellent. The value is very well kept up and whoever made this product really put their heart into it.

Great refrigerator. Fits nicely and perfectly in the same space available in my pretty small kitchen without being in the way of other appliances and still opens perfectly. The only complaint is that sometimes the top shelf in the refrigerator part gets a little too cold causing things placed there to freeze and it only happens sometimes, so unsure if adjusting the temperature is the fix. The size is just right. It is not bulky and doesnt take up unnecessary space in my small kitchen mainly for looks, like other brands I have seen. It fits the minimal amount of groceries I actually do store and is perfect for my takeout leftovers and beverages. I suppose if I wasnt single and had a need for a family fridge, it might not be the best fit since there really isnt too much extra storage space/shelving/drawers. The appearance is nothing special... just plain off-white regular looking refrigerator. I think there is nothing fancy about it. I think if the color was a little crisper white I would like it better, as now it looks a slight bit yellow in color. I did not purchase this refrigerator, it came with my apartment which I rent. If I did have to buy my own refrigerator, and since it is a pricey, longtime purchase, I would probably shop around for a nicer model, with better features for the purpose of having a nice, upgraded, and useful longtime purchase.

Ample space. Sliding shelves. Sliding drawers. Laid out very nice. Freezer on bottom with 2 shelves, lots of room. Single door with ice cube (inside) maker. Easy to clean. Black shows more dirt. Would not recommend that color.

The refrigerator after just 11 months, before the one year warranty expired, started collecting water in the bottom floor of the refrigerator (upper unit) and did not cool anymore, lost lots of food. Called their technical repair number, they sent a “technician “ who basically told me it was my job to fix it, that the problem was that I needed to defrost the refrigerator completely, wait a couple days and plug it again in order to defrost the ice that would collect on the back wall and resulted eventually in water pooling at the bottom and not cooling; never mind that it was the middle of summer and that I owned only ONE refrigerator. After many sour discussions with their repair service (How can a less than one year old refrigerator suddenly stops working?) and their insistence that they would NOT give me a new refrigerator, I decided to do as they said: defrost it, wait 2 days, plug it back. It worked for 4 months, after this period it starts all over again with same problems, called again, this time however, I was told it wasn’t under warranty any longer (1 yr 3 months old) so I had to pay for the repair, trip of technician and any parts. I refused to do that for a basically “NEW” refrigerator. I have had problems with this refrigerator every 3 or 4 months and as of now, less than two years old, I’m so frustrated that I’m ready to acknowledge a “loss” and move on, get a NEW refrigerator; obviously making sure it is NOT A SEARS BRAND or any manufacturer related to SEARS. Wondered why they are in bankruptcy? DO NOT BUY A KENMORE OR SEARS APPLIANCE in the short life they remain as a business. SEARS does NOT take responsibility or stand behind their appliances. We should have a class action suit!

I purchased a Kenmore refrigerator about 14 months ago. The thermostat and tower had to be replaced. It cost 400.00. I received no HELP from Kenmore or Sears. They told me my warranty ran out. The people in the call center are useless. I will take this matter further. All I want them is to pay for the parts. They said NO.

Its spacious, works properly, has temperature control settings, it has a freezer, it has compartments to store vegetables and fruits, the door has spacious shelves as well. It is a reputable brand that manufactures quality products.

The first Kenmore our family had lasted over 60 years. Though it was small by modern standards it never had a maintenance problem and spent the last 40 years as the basement fridge for beer and excess food.

It is great and I recommend to everyone. I have the stainless steel. It looks very stylish and compact. It keeps everything cold and very crisp. I wish all refrigerators was this affordable and stylish.

It was a refrigerator in my first house. It was a freezer on top of a refrigerator with an ice maker. Wasnt anything top of the line. Just my first refrigerator. It was beige in color and had a decent capacity. I lived in that house for 15 years and never replaced that refrigerator. Not had it serviced by a repairman.

Kenmore French Door Bottom Freezer Model 253.7034.3419 - We bought this model in December of 2015 and the ice maker has never worked properly despite 3 attempts by Sears service personnel to make repairs. Thank goodness we purchased an extended warranty or this unit would be sitting on the curb for a yard sale. Its a bit ironic because we selected this unit because it appeared to have the largest ice maker of all the other units. So here we sit, waiting on the fourth visit by Sears service technicians and no guarantee this next service call will actually get the ice maker to work. All the other functions seem to work properly, but as an ice maker, it fails miserably. If you are considering this model, beware the ice maker.

I have used this fridge for 4 years and it still works great and it keeps cool and it is good on electric bill as well the performance. It is the perfect size. It will fit in all spaces and it dont take up that much space but it holds lots of food. It is great to own. I recommend this fridge to all. The overall appearance is basic but it is nice because it goes good with all cupboards and counters and looks good with everything and it is white so it goes great with my white walls. The perceived value is that I believe it will hold its value because its still like brand new and its quiet so it will last for years to come.

We always look for the brand Kenmore as it has always been dependable and weve never had any problems with that brandmaker. The price was perfect for our budget, the style was exactly what we were looking for and it had an ice maker. We like the double doors & its lasted over 30 years with no problems. Though Id like them to have wider freezer side and a different color such as white since mine is an ugly almond.

We bought our Kenmore refrigerator 11 years ago and it is still running fine. We recently bought a newer, bigger fridge and will be moving the Kenmore to the garage where we expect to be able to use it for many more useful years. We considered Kenmore when looking for our new fridge but went with Whirlpool as we opted to buy from Lowes instead of Sears. Kenmore fridges are built by Whirlpool so the design of the two are very similar. Overall we have been very satisfied with our selections.

I like that Kenmore is a trusted brand with a strong tradition. I also chose because of previous experience with the brand. This is the brand we had in our house growing up. Its a sturdy fridge with a good amount of space and drawers to hold a variety of food. I am pretty happy with it as a whole.

Ive never been able to get ice and water in a cup while looking away at my kids before... With this fridge I can! Thankfully Ive had no issues. Its perfect. I can fit all my kosher, my husbands gluten free, my daughters lactose-free, and my sons vegan food in this fridge, WITH room for wine and beer. It fits perfectly with the style of our kitchen, doesnt get fingerprints on it, and looks absolutely seamless. Mels and molds with our other Kenmore products. Its really expensive looking, looks to be a designer, ten thousand dollar fridge and it totally fits perfectly with my modern style with all of its chrome and stuff.

Complete junk make by LG. The icemaker in my 2 year old refrigerator stopped working. SEARS repair, who I have never seen being able to repair anything, says the wire is broken between the motherboard and the ice maker and it is un-repairable. This refrigerator replaced another 2 year old LG, very similar to it, whose ice maker broke, then the freezer wouldnt freeze, and SEARS couldnt fix it. Since I had a service contract. They gave me money to replace it. The sears salesman claimed I just had a lemon and the Kenmore would be much better. WRONG! Now I am stuck with a piece of junk. DO NOT BUY FROM SEARS, DO NOT BUY LG REFRIGERATORS.

Purchased 11/4/15, Died 3/25/29. Slow system leak at first, not compressor. The last year had to run at full/all bar setting coldest output to one bar below that. We believe its in the cooling line/tubes. Linear compressor works fine. Additionally this units ice output slow, small subpar. We had to supplement with old fashon ice cube trays. 33 side by side, water ice in door, Stainless steal. Kenmore Elite 51813, LG made, The last Kenmore refrigerator lasted over 25 yrs. We didnt expect it to last that long but geesh 3 and half years. Unacceptable! Had to throw some food out and dragged my daughters old shop fridge sitting now outside my kitchen, Florida. Shopping for a new one, NOT LG nor Kenmore LG. Nope. Never again. They basically robbed us. LG should be ashamed of producing such a poor product. Obviously they are inept or crooks. Beautiful on the outside but rotten on the inside. Shame. Shame...on them.

Ive had no issues with my fridge. It works just as well as it did when we 1st bought it. I always have a full fridge and no matter what item is in there it always stays nice and cold & maintains a great temperature. The freezer never causes freezer burn & always keeps our food frozen and safe. I love the light on the door where the ice cubes come out. Its easy to find in the dark. It produces a steady stream of ice when needed but also provides a nice cold cup of water that tastes amazing. My fridge is the perfect size for smaller kitchens, although it would work just as well in a larger one. We are able to easily store everything that is brought home from the store, plus leftovers, from take out & dinner at home. Its big enough to hold my family of 4s food and beverages for 2-3 weeks. My refrigerator is a sleek dark silver with black handles. It is very current. I love that its not all white or all black. It looks great with the rest of my kitchen equipment. I believe you get what you pay for with regards to almost anything you can buy. That is not the case when it regards my fridge. There are certainly cheaper and more expensive models & I know without a doubt that its a good value when comparing it to other models. They also have a good warranty to back up the quality they claim to have & I have never used it, or needed it. It is nice to know that its there just in case.

It works. The best part is I do not have to think about it like worrying about your car getting a flat tire. The fridge keeps food cold and I DO NOT HAVE TO THINK ABOUT IT. ONE ISSUE IS the plastic drawers did crack after a while so they get stuck. That is only problem.

Very roomy. All the food fits in it. Lots of storage space. Is really a nice refrigerator. Very happy with your refrigerator. I am very glad I picked this refrigerator to own. I am very happy with the size. It is a lot bigger than what it actually seems like it is. I have no problems with storing all my groceries in it and I believe it was a great choice for me to pick this refrigerator. I think its pretty good looking. Its not a top-of-the-line model but it doesnt cost anywhere near as much as the top-of-the-line model. Overall I am very satisfied. Satisfied with its appearance and his performance. Overall I think for the money I spent on this refrigerator I got a pretty good deal after shopping around and comparing it to some of the other models and the other name brands.

Never had any problems. It was spacious, economical, and affordable. There was a good warranty on it and I loved the water and ice dispenser that was built into it. My first college apartment had a Kenmore fridge and even though it was part of a rental and was very old, it still worked very well. My parents also have a Kenmore and have no complaints.

Had everything you could want in a refrigerator. Worked well all times of the year. Plenty of room in the doors and the freezer as well. Had enough room in the doors for anything you wanted to put in there and the freezer had enough space to hold months worth of meat/veggies. Stainless steel exterior that had a very sleek look that fits in with any decor that your kitchen may have. Not too big that it overwhelms the room as well. Was less expensive than other brands that were of similar size and quality. Came with an extended warranty for free as well which was greatly appreciated.

The Kenmore refrigerator keeps things very cool, and you dont even have to turn the thermostat up very much. It has been a very dependable and worry free fridge, and the freezer works wonderful. The inside of the refrigerator is roomy. You have your shelves to store items and you have the side of the doors to store condiments. The drawers on the bottom inside the fridge has plenty of room to store your fruits and veggies. My fridge is white and it has the freezer on top. It doesnt look all fancy, but the plain white fridge has that simple country look to it. You can use it with any color scheme. The value for the fridge with the freezer built in up top is pretty reasonable, especially if you are on a budget, to purchase. The price is about midway of what you would pay for a different model.

It is an amazing refrigerator! It has the perfect settings for the fridge and the freezer. Ive only ever had to adjust the temperature once and it was to turn it down because it worked so well. The water and ice dispenser is great, water comes out perfect every time and the ice tray always fills up. Its a little big. I had to make room for it to fit in the space I have allocated for my fridge but once I did, I didnt regret it! It is perfect to fit everything inside of it without have to move stuff around a lot to make space. It looks amazing! It is sleek and beautiful! Beautiful may be a weird word to use for a fridge but it is! It matches the rest of my appliances really well. While it was a little on the expensive side, it was well worth it. The size is perfect, the functions are perfect, everything about it is perfect!

I would give this negative stars if I could. We bought a Kenmore Elite Refrigerator with bottom freezer in September 2016. It totally stopped working on June 23, 2017 (8 months later). The earliest appointment they could give us was the following Friday, June 30th. Repairman thinks that it may be the compressor but cant get the parts until 7/21. We told him that was unacceptable and he was then able to find the parts and scheduled to return on 7/7. Just got a call from Sears saying that the parts are on back-order and the earliest they could schedule service is on 7/24. I told them that I wanted a new refrigerator instead and was told that they could not replace it unless a repairman deemed it unfix-able. I told them to send a repairman to verify that it was unfix-able because as far as I am concerned, if they dont have the parts to fix it, then it is unfix-able. Of course I was then told that they wont send anyone until the parts come in. So now we are without a refrigerator until July 24th and who knows if he can even fix it when he comes. Over a month without a refrigerator is totally unacceptable. They do not seem to care either, but they will care when they are out of a job. Thank God that I didnt purchase the extra service plan - I am sure that is just as useless as their warranty. No wonder they are closing Sears stores everywhere - it is disgraceful how they handle business and treat customers. Thankfully, my local Sears will be closing its doors soon, too bad they didnt before I bought my refrigerator. I wish that I had read the reviews prior to purchasing. I will never buy another thing from them again.

Its great and never stops working on me. It never defrosts or freezes up as well. The sticks on the computer never get loose either. It also has a great price. The size is big and can fit all of my food especially the refrigerator. It never lets my stuff get too hard or moldy either. I can fit a lot of food in there also. The appearance is nice. Its gray color and it looks fancy and up to date. A lot the gray color doesnt fade and the stainless steel doesnt get rusty or mold on it. The value is great and I got it at a discounted price because Im a loyal customer at a particular store. Also the squad came into my home and set it up for me.

We have had this fridge almost 20 years. It's never needed a service call. Sometimes the ice in the icemaker clumps if we don't use it enough. It prompts us to change the water filter more often than seems necessary. Things on the top shelf on the fridge side occasionally are colder than need be, sometimes even frozen. The slide out shelves are great but when it's crowded inside items can fall down behind them.

My husband and I bought our Kenmore two door freezer drawer bottom stainless Steel refrigerator at Sears. Within a month we had a small rust spot in one of the doors. Soon after the plastic drawers and other pieces within the refrigerator began to break - this is just my husband and I using it. No children and no abuse. Kenmore used to be a good quality name but unfortunately it is now made with cheap thin plastic parts and alright it was their higher end model. It is falling apart! We feel like we were robbed. We will never buy another Kenmore product!

We have a side by side and we have never had any problems with it. We bought it about three years ago. It has an automatic ice maker and pure water to drink. I would recommend it to anyone that would ask me about our refrigerator.

Its a very good fridge however it is small and I have a large family and will be upgrading to a larger one but overall great brand. Have had for 4 years and have not had a problem with it yet. The freezer is way too small, cant fit much in it unless you are single and live by yourself. The fridge part is bigger but not by much - this would be my only complaint with this fridge. Overall the appearance is nice although its very average. Would be nice if the basic fridge like mine had a better design than normal would be better.Considering my fridge is very basic and plain jane with only an ice maker as upgrade its worth what I pay for, being that I bought it from a discount store otherwise it would not be worth the full retail price. Should have more basic upgrades like an egg holder, more space in the door for larger bottles. To make the fridge taller would also allow for a larger freezer and an additional shelf in the fridge.

I recently bought a Kenmore refrigerator to be exact 5 months ago and its already not working! How is this possible? How can you spend your hard earned money on a product that will break down on you in less than 5 months? I called for repairs and was told why I didnt add a protection plan. WHY should I! I shouldnt have to worry about something so expensive breakdown on me so fast. After throwing away all the food that went bad I had to wait 4 days for a technician. I was greeted with a very smelly, rude and ignorant man that did nothing but tell me that he needed to order a motor and left.I called Sears Repair and was told I had to wait another 3-5 days for the motor to come in and then... Make an appointment for another technician to come in. So what do I do for food? Eat out a can for a week? Will I be reimburse for all the breakfast, lunch and dinners I have to pay for until they fix my broken down expensive new refrigerator? I am beyond disappointed with this issue. I will gladly forward my receipt if requested but at this time I do not have it. Item was bought at Sears (Cottman Plaza) in Northeast Philadelphia PA on 8/7/2016.

This refrigerator has premium space efficiently at a great price point. Every product has a place, making it rare to lose food due to it being out of sight. The temperature stayed consistent throughout use, and power surges had no effect. Great product! The size is a little bit on the bigger side for me, small kitchens arent optimal for this product. In a bigger kitchen there would have been no negativity from me. This refrigerator is classy! Very simplistic at first glance, not ostentatious. Appearance is basic but reaches out to a specific customer. After browsing and comparing many refrigerators, the value of this specific product is amazing. The space to price ratio makes this a quality purchase.

Lots of space, keeps everything cold. I havent had any problems with refrigerator. The price was great. Id recommend this refrigerator to any of my friends or family. I buy a lot of meat every month and never have a problem fitting everything in. The refrigerator has plenty of room for all my drinks and condiments. I do understand prefer side by side if I had a choice but they are a bit more pricey. But I am happy with the appearance for the most part. I think the price was competitive to other brands. I think the price I got on this fridge was very fair and customer service was great. They were very informative.

I purchased this refrigerator right after Christmas last year when our refrigerator died. First thing I didnt like was that I had to wait nearly a week for delivery. I wasnt really happy with the layout of it after delivery, but figured I could live with it. Then as soon as the weather started warming up, we noticed the freezer foods had a wet feel and ice was sticking together. Upon examination, my son discovered when the cold section door was closed, the freezer door popped open! Most of the time it would close on its own but occasionally it didnt. I was glad I had paid for a Master Service Agreement with the purchase! I called the repair service. The technician came out and made a big deal of leveling the fridge, etc. – leaving without a fix for the freezer door. I stewed for a while then called repair service again, relating what had happened on the first visit. This technician decided he would tell me how You can fix that problem yourself. Hello! Not when I paid over $400 for someone else to fix it!Knowing this fridge was made by LG and sold by Sears with their Kenmore name on it, I contacted LG. Meanwhile I had gone to KMart, where they sell Sears products, and tested all the Kenmore refrigerator doors. This model is the only one the freezer door popped open on when closing the cold section! The person, who answered my email detailing the problem, put me in touch with a Sears CEO who sent Sears Blue Ribbon Team out to look at the fridge.The technician at that time stated there was no fix for it unless LG made a stronger magnet for the freezer door, which they didnt. And though he declared, when he spoke with Sears advocate on the phone, that the fridge was working as it should, he would also recommend 100% customer satisfaction if it were up to him. When I finally got a call back from the Sears CEO, she claimed she could not exchange the fridge because the technician stated the fridge is working as it should.So I am stuck with a fridge that has manufacturer defects that the manufacturer and the seller are both aware of! Even I can look at the refrigerator and see that the space between the bottom of the freezer door and the top of the cold section door is larger on the left side than the right side. Whether this has anything to do with the problem, I have no clue. But I doubt it. I’m just saying I can see it. I have copies of all email communication between myself and LG, and myself and Sears for what its worth.

I bought Sears Kenmore Elite refrigerator 795.77563600 in 10/2006. It has always had problems with the ice maker, but Ive learned to live with it. Today, however, I opened the fridge at lunch time and noticed the smell of burning plastic. The lights had stayed on and melted the plastic light cover. The plastic was dripping down onto food! I tested the door switches to confirm that the doors werent simply left ajar: 1) Open doors: Fridge beeps and lights on; 2) Open doors + press switch: Fridge stops beeping and lights on; 3) Close doors: Fridge stops beeping (and presumably lights still on). I am happy I caught this during the day! I shudder to think what would have happened if this occurred at night. Kenmore/LG should recall these fridges before they cause a house fire!

Would like increased freezer space; interior light in refrigerator is too dim; shelves in refrigerator, though reasonably deep, or not quite high enough. We chose to purchase Kenmore both because of its highly recommended status in the appliance world in general and because of Sears, where we actually bought the refrigerator. Overall, we have been quite satisfied with the refrigerator/freezer.

Just needed to take apart a three year old fridge that was so full of ice that the motor was making noises and stopped working. Ice buildup around coils and then into fridge behind the bottom drawers that hold fruit and vegetables.

The fridge performance was good and it was cold. The service from company was nice and the fridge worked wonderfully like it should. I was happy with purchase. The fridge size was a bit too small and compact but fit very well in my kitchen and worked out perfectly cool and great and good and easy. A nice appliance. The appearance of the fridge was white and it was tall and cold inside and holds food that I eat and was a good fridge that I bought. I liked it very much. The fridge was a great value and the box was large and the fridge was cold and neat and small. The appliance was good and I love it very much.
