I had it some time ago, but I dont think I had any major problems with it. I replaced it just to upgrade my kitchen. At that time I think the fridge was still working fine. But we really needed a bigger one and decided to get a side-by-side with a bigger freezer. That was about four years ago. We had to sell the house due to a family situation. We moved into a house owned by my mother which already had an adequate refrigerator which is not a Kenmore. But if we do need another one, I will definitely look into getting another Kenmore. I believe they are well-built, they seem to not to require much repairs and they definitely last a long time.

We have owned this refrigerator for 9 years and never had a problem! The icemaker and water dispenser work great! I like the side by side. It is very handy. The only problem is with the side shelves. 2 have broken. I guess the plastic isnt very good! The size is a great size and holds everything. My next refrigerator would be the same brand but have more durable shelves on the side. I love the appearance. It wont show hand prints like others that I have seen and owned. I like how the ice and water compartment looks. It is hard to keep the bottom dry clean. Refrigerators are crazy expensive. This one was average price for what we wanted. I would definitely recommend this brand and this design. It has worked great for our family.

Kenmore is a well-known brand. We have always heard that Kenmore is a great product and even when I was a child, my parents bought Kenmore appliances. We have a very small kitchen and Kenmore was one of only a few products that had the right size that we needed. We couldnt beat the price at the time and my parents had a Kenmore refrigerator too. Our Kenmore refrigerator lasted 10 years with 2 kids and a husband that were constantly opening and closing it. It was also very spacious to keep a lot of food and it never leaked like the refrigerator that I have now. But we would have liked an ice maker instead of having to make ice cubes on a daily basis since theres 4 people in my house. Nevertheless, we would buy a Kenmore again.

I too spent my hard earned dollars to purchase a Kenmore bottom mount refrigerator. Within two years of purchase it began leaking water onto my kitchen floor. Not only is this problematic in terms of actually having cold storage for our food but a hazard. Having been unaware of the problem, I took a major dive on the kitchen floor when I slid in the puddle of water. One more reason to BEWARE of purchasing from Sears. Seems like Sears will not change their irresponsible practices until a law suit forces them to do so.

Works great. Except for middle drawer sticks and I have to really pull on it to open it. And sometimes not everything in the freezer freezes. Its a good size, however I would like a larger freezer because I like to buy larger quantities and divide and freeze them. So for me I usually have to stack things just right and usually always have things fall out at me. It looks fine for an older fridge. Its a big white box. Im not really a fan of the white right now because of the handles and doors are constantly dirty from my son and fiance. We did not purchase this fridge. It came with the house when we bought it. But even if we had bought it, the value for it being an older model is good for the function and space.

The Kenmore ref was included in my apartment rental. I like the door shelves, pull out shelves, crisper drawers. The freezer is spacious and the refrigerator has wire shelves, easy for cleaning. But it needs a water filtration system and ice maker. It also needs to have shelves in freezer and drawers that pull out more easily. Nevertheless, I would purchase another Kenmore in the future. It has met my expectations.

The reason I choose Kenmore is first and foremost is their reputation and its storage zones. The Kenmore brand is a well respected brand and is well sold all over the world. Kenmore refrigerator uses new technology at the time for zone temperature control which is very helpful especially for fruit and vegetables. Kenmore exceeds my expectations on reliability, safety, control, smart design and engineering. Kenmore has very few design imperfections that I dislike with a couple of items. The first is the unit footprint limitations especially for an apartment size space. As usual I would prefer something that holds all my standard groceries and items I need temperature controlled that may spoil. The second item is compartment sizes efficient to hold my vegetables especially when cooking and having to pile them on a shelf.

I purchased a Kenmore french door refrigerator in July 2017. It is 1 year and 4 months old. A couple weeks ago we reached in to get a bottle of water and it was warm. We placed a thermometer in the fridge and noticed that no matter what temperature we set the fridge on, it fluctuates between 33 degrees and 50 degrees. We were told by a repairman that it needs an LG Main Control Board and that the Boards are defective. Do yourself a favor and avoid ANY LG appliances or appliances that have any LG parts.

The freezer storage drawers really need to be redesigned... Or the hardware that holds them must be redesigned. Either way, the first drawer from the bottom cant be used. The size was fine for our family of four. Any bigger would have been unnecessary. However, it would have been nice if the water dispenser was higher for bigger glasses. The appearance was fine, as we needed stainless steel to match the other appliances. However, it never really looked clean... Very streaky. The value was good for that specific appliance. If we wanted the fancier Viking or Wolf, it wouldnt have worked with our budget. Kenmore offered the same as Whirlpool or Maytag which cost more.

It cools quickly and is easy to clean. The door shelves have plenty of room. I like the milk shelf. I like the two crispers with adjustable humidity. It is a good size for us. The milk indentation on the door is good and allows the milk to stay put. The shelf height is good for our needs. I like the color. It is black and looks good in the kitchen. It doesnt show dirt or smudges on the door. It fits nicely into our kitchen. It was a good value for the money. Weve had it about six months and have not had any problems. I would highly recommend it for an average sized family who needs a basic roomy refrigerator.

We bought this 3500.00 refrigerator, and within the first 2 years that we owned it, the compressor went out. They had to replace the compressor twice, then refrigerator not cooling, was collecting ice behind the produce section, they cleared that out, freezer started doing the same thing. They ended up replacing the mother board. So far ever since they did the replacement of the 2nd compressor we have to call them out about once a month. RIDICULOUS!!!! I dont think that their service experts have any clue what they are doing. After replacing the mother board last month, September we are now at the end of October and we are having to have them out again because temp in refrigerator is too warm. I will say that the 500.00 GE refrigerator we had to purchase to keep stuff cold after our 3500.00 refrigerator broke down the first time, and they would not service for 9 DAYS.... has never had any trouble.

Works well and has a good amount of space inside. Only problem is with the ice maker which no longer works. The amount of space inside the refrigerator meets my needs and the layout is nice so that I am able to fit everything I need inside. I am really happy with this type of fridge. I really like the way the outside and inside of this fridge looks. I chose black and am very happy with that choice. I like the placement of the shelves. I am pleased with this fridge and the amount that I paid. I think I got a fairly good deal on the product and wouldnt have any complaints if the ice maker didnt break.

Fits just about anything. Very adjustable and runs quiet. Doesnt use too much energy. Frozen pizzas dont always fit. Temperature stays constant, no need to adjust. Ive stored pretty much every possible grocery item in mine, from bottles of various sizes to large pizza boxes to holiday leftovers. The freezer side is a bit compact but will hold most boxed or wrapped items. Nothing shouts modern and sleek like a stainless steel finish. Easy to clean, shiny, and nearly futuristic. Looks like a restaurant quality unit. Very great deal. Even though I got mine while it was on sale, I would gladly have paid full price for mine. Worth every penny I spent on it. Once this unit eventually gives out, Ill have more than gotten my moneys worth.

The Kenmore refrigerator has been one of the most amazing things I have ever bought. It is just as good now as it was the day I bought it. It keep everything nice and cold. Its very quiet sounding. I have four children and two adults in the home which means we have the need for a lot of things to be on hand and in the refrigerator at all times and this size works well for us. Its not one of the fancy looking new models but it fits right in with all of our other appliances in our home. I enjoy the looks it provides on the kitchen. This product have reached to the star for its value. It was a great price and has paid for its self over and over. It is a wonderful product and has saved me tons.

Kenmore was the cheapest when comparing it to other brands that had the same features. Kenmore is a trusted brand and this fridge was on sale. I was more concerned with the price and the value than what specific features it has. I like the features and the space in this refrigerator. There is plenty of space especially in the freezer which is great for my needs. But I wish it had sturdier shelving units and maybe it coming in different colors.

It is really nice. Works great. Keeps your food fresh and cold. You should try and buy one. You will love it. Im going to keep buying that brands. It is big. You can put a lot of stuff in it. Its not like my other fridge. I love it so much. I will buy another one if I had to. Its really nice stainless steel and black. I would tell good things about it. I have nothing bad to say about it but try it. It is worth the money. I paid a good amount of money for it but I would buy another if I had to because they are really good products.

We purchased a Kenmore Fridge french door with bottom freezer in 2010, Model # 795.78406.804, Serial # 0004MRHR19777, Mfg. Date 2010.04. To date, we have had 5 occurrences of the fridge portion turning off. No light, no error code, no cooling, just shut off. The first event happened sometime during the spring of 2011 while we were away from home. Lost complete contents of the fridge. Called Sears repair (note: no longer under warranty) and had the controller/computer board replaced at $350 plus labor. Thankfully bought extended service plan because 8 months later the same thing happened..... again replaced same board. This failure action continued a couple of times over the next few months and we were told by service to unplug the unit for about 5 minutes and it would restart. It did!!! Service person (a contractor for Sears) told us he has serviced other units with the same issue and if the issue is not with a defective component, the unplug/replug procedure works. Well it just happened again and the unplug/replug procedure worked again. Low and behold, my wife found out from the manual that the unit should be shut off if you are away from home for more than about a week. Makes us wonder if this failure mode is known by the manufacturer and is programmed into the controller. Kind of an unusual way to go Green, dont you think. Will likely scrap the unit after I carefully research other brands. I say scrap because I do not want to burden anyone else with the unit by donating to charity.

Whenever I put something on my top shelf in the refrigerator, it freeze and cause water on the shelf. I have put paper hefty plates, bowls. Ive tried regular ceramic plates, glass, whatever. It still freezes and causes water. What can I do?

I previously owned a Kenmore refrigerator, and other Kenmore products, and have always been satisfied with the quality and length of time they were in service. The house we own now came equipped with other makes of major appliances, so we do not own any Kenmore major appliances at this time. However, we will consider that brand when we need to replace our current models.

I love Kenmore. I have had several appliances from Kenmore and have really enjoyed owning them. I love my fridge, well-made, dependable. Love the space, the look, the ice maker. Have never had any issues out of it.

Kenmore has always been a great product with great design. Very dependable and their repair service was superior. Sad how things have changed. Im in the market for a new refrigerator as my Kenmore is almost 20 years old but still works very well!!

On 8/8/2011, I purchased a Kenmore Elite refrigerator model 4602 from Sears. In October of 2012, the ice dispenser caused my circuit breaker to trip and the dispenser stopped working. Of course, you may say I should have purchased insurance, but it seems to me it is ridiculous for a $1000+ appliance to stop working after 14 months. I will never again purchase from Sears or recommend them to my associates.

You know something, for the most part... it works and were happy with it. I moved in here with my girlfriend 8 years ago and she said she had it at least 5 years before that. So lol, its a 13 year old fridge on the bottom with a freezer on top and a built in ice maker. Now so long as momma is happy with it... I have no complaints.

This Kenmore french door fridge is fairly straightforward. It has plenty of space in the fresh food compartment along with good storage options. However, this fridge falls short of the higher ranked products in our review because of the disappointing freezer. It is small for the size of the fridge and not very well organized.

Do not buy Kenmore 60214. Previous to this model we had a Kenmore that lasted from 2000-2016 until the compressor died. This unit is 1 yr + 2 months and both freezer and fridge are suddenly not cold enough even with both dials are at the coldest. Will NEVER buy Kenmore brand again after being a loyal fan for over 30 years. Piece of junk.

We loved this appliance. We used it for a few years until we sold our house and let the refrig stay. We never had any problems with it and it ran without any issues. Our refrig was about 26 cu ft, I believe. We are a family of 4 with 5 dogs and we needed a lot of space to store lunches and leftovers in. The appearance was very classic looking, nothing too fancy but it was plenty for what we needed it for. It fit into our kitchen like a charm. Had plenty of storage space for lunch meats, fruits and vegetables. This is a very good value. You are getting your moneys worth when you buy a Kenmore appliance. They run forever and never have any problems and if you do, the service dept is there to fix it for you in a flash.

Kenmore Refrigerators is exceptionally good and value for money. I would recommend it for those who want quality with less bucks to spend. Its the best deal I have ever got in refrigerators. Thumbs up.

I love how I can adjust the temp of the freezer and the top fridge. There is tons of space and it looks very fancy in my kitchen. The water dispenser on the front is being used all the time by myself and the kids, and I havent had any issues with it at all.

It lasts a very long time. I love the ice maker in the refrigerators left door. Another cool thing about the fridge is that it has a lot of space for any groceries you buy. The size is very amazing. When I first got it, it surprised me. The best part about it, it keeps everything nice and cool inside the fridge. The Kenmore 50023 has a very nice appearance. It just pops out in my kitchen. When a family member, or a friend comes over, he/she asks me how did I get it. The value on the Kenmore 50023 isnt that good but it definitely beats other refrigerator prices. I would give it a 5/10 on value and price.

Kenmore is the house brand for Sears and were proud to supported the store. My husband and I worked there and got a nice ten percent discount. I enjoy having filtered water that supplies my awesome ice maker & water dispenser in the door. Beautiful glass-like shelves shine like diamonds. Although, the ice maker has a fragile which has to be handled with great care. Also, it frightens me almost every night when the ice maker makes a very loud sound as it drops a load of ice into its bin. I do appreciate though that the ice maker quickly replenishes the ice intake as soon as some come out from the dispenser. Arm to turn it off & on. The repairman replaced a motor/part in the door & left it hanging loose.

I like that the temperature is just right. It keeps food cold and doesnt freeze it. The shelving is plentiful. Theres room for my groceries. My food and drinks fit properly, I dont have to lay my drinks sideways, they actually stand up. The shelves are wide enough for heavy bags of fruit. And the drawers are large enough to fit food in the bottom also. Its black so it matches my other kitchen appliances. It looks nice in my house. It has a classic yet updated look. I always get compliments on how nice it looks. It was very affordable and in my budget. It didnt cost me a ton and break my bank. I didnt have to put it in layaway to purchase. It was delivered to my home free of charge. It got cold as soon as it plugged into the wall.

My Kenmore has lasted a long time. It has a great freezer section. My food stays cold. I do not have to worry about food spoilage. I have a lot of room in my refrigerator for all of my food and condiments.

Overall this has been a good refrigerator. The ice maker works fast although the in door dispenser no longer works. The freezer could be bigger. Although this refrigerator is roomy, its hard to configure the shelving to hold tall items. Drawers have plenty of room for fruits and veggies. The freezer side has more than enough storage. Its sleek stainless steel. I am replacing my other appliances to match. Really good looking for an appliance. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to modernize their kitchen. This refrigerator came with our house but has been very reliable so no money has been spent on repairs. Its energy efficient and runs well. Im sure if I had to replace it that I would find one for a good price.

Kenmore has a door compartment in front of you when you open the refrigerator. Then below it has two separate compartments for fruits & vegetables. Then the other door is the freezer. However, the freezer should be bigger as well as the refrigerator and the two compartments below & above are not that big. But Ive owned Kenmore products now for a long time. Ive owned other kitchen appliances & it hasnt been as reliable as the Kenmore products. From price to design to style.

Refrigerator has a noisy compressor, I like the LED lights, its very brightly lit and well organized. Door opens a little too fast but probably needs adjusting. I went with simplicity in that usually comes with the fewest problems. Replacement filters are reasonable too and very easy to replace, unlike my last Samsung fridge.

I liked that I could recognize the name. I really liked the refrigerator for many reasons. It was Easy to use and organize. It looks modern and yet classic. It was the best quality of refrigerator for the price. It met my expectations for keeping things cold. However, I wish the material was made of a harder material that could withhold young kids using it. There are cracks in some of the drawers. The fridge could have Deeper door spaces for the fridge doors too. I would like ways to customize it as well. In addition, I wish it came in other colors. I also wish there were more in store models to look at or a way to visualize it in the space.

It fits all my needs. Keeps all my foods at perfect temp. Also has plenty of room and I can adjust shelves to fit my needs. I would look at same type, brand, unit when I need another. It really works great. When I find a great buy on food I can freeze and use later. And being able to adjust my shelves makes my storage go a lot further. It was very easy to get into my opening and the leveling was so easy. The color I got is great and so very easy to keep clean, by just using a wet cloth. People keep asking me did you get a new refrigerator? They are so surprised when I tell how old it is. This unit is worth every bit as much as I paid. I really dont understand how this unit can be so much less than others and has so much more to offer.

I really enjoy this refrigerator. It keeps my food at the right temps. And had plenty of space. I recommended this same model to my dad and he got it for my mom. She loves it and said that it will be her last one. The size of the refrigerator was a big deal for me when I was looking for the right one. I live by myself but I usually host thanksgivings, Christmas, etc. so I do a big shopping at that time. The space that I have with my refrigerator put my mind now at ease. No more clutter and I can find and see everything that I bought and used it without it spoiling. I liked the appearance because it matches my kitchen decor. It fits perfectly in the city of my kitchen and it blends in. I love it. The style makes my kitchen look like one of them tv food shows (modern). Again very happy with this product. I had my refrigerator now for two - three years. Everything that it said it will do it does. The value of it is spot on.

Of all the ones we checked on Kenmore was the overall cheapest with all about the same equipment. At the time they also offered free delivery and would take the old one out of the house and install the new including hooking up water to it. Some of the others we would have to pick up our self or hire a contracting company to deliver it. I loved the ice and water in the door of the Kenmore refrigerator and that it was a side by side. It was also easy to get in and out of. This one was black in color. At the time I thought it would be hard to keep clean so was rather surprised at how easy it really was. The seals around the doors were really good which helped keep my energy cost down. However, as the refrigerator got older the ice maker would not work right and the water at the door quit working. But then I have found out that this is a big problem with most like this.

Its size is big enough for all my needs. The freezer stores enough food for my family and the fridge is roomy and has different containers to hold all my necessary items. Its been used for a few years and still looks brand new like the day I first bought it. I just clean it out every once in a while but if I ever sold it you would think that its brand new. Its a reliable refrigerator that has lasted a long time over the years and I would say its value means a lot to me because of that. Also, theyre good and dont make your electric bill so much. Its worth every penny I spent on it. Its the only brand I would use for refrigerators and its the best brand of refrigerator you can ever buy.

We had Kenmore refrigerators when I was a child and I still like the brand. I wanted to continue to purchase Kenmore refrigerators since I knew from experience that they were good and reliable for my family. I am very glad that I purchased this refrigerator. I really liked the ice maker and water dispensary features that were offered on this model. But, I disliked the lack of space there was inside of the freezer. With a growing family, space needed for storing breast milk for my newborn, and doing meal prep, I need more space to store meals and other items. The freezer was large however not large enough for what my family needed.

We are very dissatisfied with our fridge. We have only had it about 3 years or so and only after a year the latch that keeps the doors (french doors) closed broke. We called and after a fight they came to replace it. Then a few months later it happened again. This time they wouldnt come to fix it unless we paid.

This review pertains to a Kenmore Elite refrigerator Model 795.74022.410 purchased for $2500 (retail price is about $3800) at the end of November 2014. It was supposed to be an upgrade/replacement for our GE refrigerator of 19 years. After 8 months of ownership, we had defrosted the refrigerator 3 times. This is something I have not done in more than 30 years, because refrigerators are frostless. I had noticed that the defrost drains were iced solid. There was a sheet of ice at the bottom of the refrigerator and water was dripping out the front. A serviceman finally came to examine the unit, disassembled the inner parts of the refrigerator, and performed a defrost with a steam gun. He installed a probe to detect icing and assist the defroster. He was very professional and did a great job. This repair/modification had been his third unit this week. At the end of the service call, he tried to sell me an extended 1 year warranty for $320 (>$26/month). I felt this was a last ditch effort for Sears to profit and mitigate their risk. I expect a refrigerator to last nearly 20 years, and I dont believe this unit will make 3 years. When I replace this refrigerator, Sears wont even be a consideration. In fact, I will no longer shop at Sears for any product.

I purchased a black Kenmore refrigerator (model #795.75319.900) in 4/2010. I had to call for a service repair on 5/20/2010, because frost had built up in the freezer and the food in the refrigerator was not getting cold and the water dispenser would continue to flow after the cup was removed from the door. A repair person came out and fixed the problem, stated ice had built up in the panel behind the freezer so cold air was not flowing into the refrigerator area. I forget what he said the problem with the dispenser was due to. After about a few months, my husband and I noticed the problem again, such as frost building up in the freezer and water dispenser still not working properly. Within a year, Sears replaced our fridge with a new one. After about 3-6 months same problems, the dispenser never worked properly, we just keep it locked now. I defrosted the fridge and it worked okay for a little while, but the same problem keeps happening. The fridge isn’t even 2 years old. We are tired of losing food and defrosting this thing every few months. We are talking of buying a new fridge but these things are supposed to last at least 12 years, we are not even close to that. I talked to service dept. The lady was pleasant at first, then when I asked if they (Kenmore) would help with the purchase of a new fridge, her tone changed and she asked me in an accusatory voice Why didn’t you call when you were having problems with the second refrigerator?! Of course, that upset me a little, I have several of this companys products and would probably buy more, but not if they are not going to stand by their products and customer service upsets the clients calling for assistance. I explained to her how I was trying to fix the problem by defrosting and not paying for service calls every six months, which if it is a quality product, I wouldnt have to do anyway. The water dispenser has never worked properly. It is nothing my family or I could have done to make this refrigerator malfunction, it is a manufacturing defect or possible just a lemon of a fridge. However, I should not have to pay $1,000-1,500 for a new one when this one is still practically new. It’s just not operating like a new. Why should I have to pay for a service call and repair when this like new fridge malfunctions? Sears should pay for the repair.

It lasts very long and is dependable. We have never had any major issues with it and it is a great warranty that gives you peace of mind if it should ever break down that it will be fully covered no matter what. It can fit everything that we put in it large or small without any problems. As most people know they are fairly large refrigerators that can take anything that you throw at it no matter what. It is a very modern looking fridge that should fit in well with any decor and it is very sleek and updated with the latest colors and technology. The price was great and I never have to worry about it breaking down because they seem to hold up to pretty much anything that may be done to it no matter what it is that may happen to it.

Kenmore has been the only brand I have used on any major appliance and it has always proved to be reliable, dependable and worth every penny I spend on the purchase. Kenmore is/has been the only brand I have ever considered purchasing. Their refrigerator seems to work better than other refrigerators. It keeps things cold. However the plastic drawers do not seem to stay on track real good when loaded. There needs to be some way to make them more sturdy to where they fit on the tracks and stay on them better. Other than that, it serves our purpose

My family had several Kenmore over the years. We have one in the garage, we had in our kitchen for years and its still going strong after 20 plus years now. I dont know what wed do without the 2nd fridge and a dorm size isnt big enough. The older one in the garage we use for overflow and drinks. Its great for keeping watermelon, cold and not taking tons of spaces in the kitchen fridge. If Kenmore makes products that last that long theyre doing something right.

We bought a new Kenmore side by side and paid extra for the indoor ice maker model #106.51332710. One year and 1 month to the date it was delivered the ice maker quit working so I called customer service. We have water but no water to the ice tray. They were not willing to stand by their product and send a tech out unless it was on my dime. Now Im sorry. We are a family of 4. This was not overused for it to die on such a short time span. Its ridiculous. I now know 2 other people that have had this exact problem so apparently this is nothing new. Dont waste your money you will be paying for repairs just out of the year you purchased it. What happened to customer service or just doing whats right?!?!

We purchased all of our appliance for our new home and have had nothing but problems with the icemaker in our Kenmore Elite fridge since the beginning. The ice maker either freezes all the ice together, wont dispense or wont make ice. My husband works on appliances for a living and has had to repair this problem several times. Now, it wont even dispense at all. We had to replace the main board a few months ago also. My parents bought the same fridge as ours right after we did and have had the same problems. And this last year, our friends bought the newer version of the same fridge and are also having the same problem. I know we are out of warranty, but we are very unhappy with this product!

I had absolutely no problems with my Kenmore refrigerator. It kept my food cold and replaced the ice in a timely manner when completely emptied. The water and ice dispenser on the door was a brilliant idea. Was new to me and very convenient. The only reason it was replaced was because we needed a bigger refrigerator.

Its been more than 10 years since weve had a Kenmore refrigerator. It was not energy smart, but otherwise worked fine for our family. We had trouble with Sears in the delivery, however, which was quite unsatisfactory. So the next time we needed a refrigerator we did not go to Sears and instead got a Whirlpool which was the same model as a Kenmore.

It is great and I recommend to everyone. I have the stainless steel. It looks very stylish and compact. It keeps everything cold and very crisp. I wish all refrigerators was this affordable and stylish.

I have had my fridge for 6 months so far and I am very satisfied. It does everything I expect and more. Good job Kenmore. You are awesome. My fridge is two sided. Has 2 compartment drawers and is very roomy. Im able to put all my leftovers and everything in there. My fridge is very pretty. All black – my favorite color for the kitchen. Ice machine makes either crushed or cubed ice. Lights up at night. Very recommended. Nice and very quiet. Always does everything I ask. I love my fridge. Im glad I spent my money on it. My husband and I bought our Kenmore two door freezer drawer bottom stainless Steel refrigerator at Sears. Within a month we had a small rust spot in one of the doors. Soon after the plastic drawers and other pieces within the refrigerator began to break - this is just my husband and I using it. No children and no abuse. Kenmore used to be a good quality name but unfortunately it is now made with cheap thin plastic parts and alright it was their higher end model. It is falling apart! We feel like we were robbed. We will never buy another Kenmore product!

Very stable. Have not had issues with the motor breaking. The vegetable trays at the bottom are very stable. No issues with the freezer. I eat out a lot, so I dont need a lot of space. That being said, the door is laid out well to hold 2 liter bottles and milk cartons. Im not a flashy guy, so this refrigerator is for me. Plain Jane, with nothing drawing it attention. I didnt want one that was too flashy. Good value for the price. The refrigerator does its job keeping my food from spoiling. I dont need a dandy appliance for that. It has plenty of room for my needs.

I purchased a $2000 Kenmore 3-door bottom fridge, Model# 79571304012, manufacture date of 2011.12. About 3 months after the warranty ran out, we noticed a loud noise coming from the freezer. We noticed a large ice buildup along the back wall. We knocked it off and the noise stopped. That lasted for a couple of weeks. The noise was back along with the ice buildup. Tried this a few more times over the next month or two. Then, the noise got really loud and we noticed that the freezer wasnt cooling properly. We then noted that after the ice was removed once again, the freezer was doing okay, but the refrigerator was getting warm. Well, by the next day, we lost all of our food and it was not working at all. We called a repairman and he charged us $250 to remove the door and replace some part. Now, one year later, it has started this same cycle - DO NOT BUY THIS! It is roomy and nice, but this has been a headache!!!

I like my Kenmore fridge. It is my life. I couldnt imagine living without it. It makes my food taste better just by putting it inside of it. I will never get rid of my Kenmore fridge.

I selected Kenmore because of the price and the space provided. On the day of delivery I had to help the Sears driver bring the refrigerator to its location because he was by himself. The refrigerator is a black exterior with an 18-cubic foot interior for almost $700.00. The size of the refrigerator fit our needs with several interior shelves and drawer space and shelving space on the doors. The freezer is two-tiered and came with an ice tray. But the refrigerator is too cold and drips water in the interior. Sears was called to fix it. They came out but said nothing could be done. To this day the refrigerator is still producing temperatures that are way too cold causing food loss over time and a huge letdown overall. Ultimately, Sears and Kenmore have let me down and lost customers.

Don’t buy a Kenmore refrigerator. The ice/water system is a piece of crap. The ice dispenser won’t stop giving ice and now the water won’t turn off. Buyers beware. Can’t tell you how disappointed I am in this product.

It is a very good product. It looks shiny and stylish. It is slim. Not bulky like others, yet it contains many space for storage. The freezer side have plenty of space and many adjustments for the temperature. It is a totally worth product.

My husband and I had been newlyweds at the time and we shopped according to the price seeing as we had been raising a young family. My Kenmore refrigerator was reliable, but I suppose there could have been better storage on the door. The bottom storage drawers often became off track and the suction on the door was not strong. Unfortunately this appliance had been lost in a fire. We replaced it and would purchase a Kenmore if the opportunity should arise.

This sears refrigerator has served us very well for 30 years. Only problem is that we have repaired icemaker twice in 30 years! The repair man who fixed the ice maker told us they dont make them like this anymore. Very satisfactory refrig.

This fridge is amazing. I love how big it is. Its also very sleek looking and makes the kitchen look modern. Ice and water maker are great. Holds so much food! I have a big family and this fridge is big enough to hold food for all of us. Its amazing to not have to go to the grocery store every other day. Looks great in any kitchen. I love love love the stainless steel look. Very modern. The refrigerator is a little pricey but I guess its worth the price. Price alone isnt great but value is totally worth it.

I fixed the freezer handle once, otherwise it was pretty sturdy. I find that having the fridge items on top is easier to manage, especially for taller individuals. The side-by-side takes away horizontal space. With this, I could finally store a pizza in the freezer! Horizontal space is more ideal. The fridge can store casseroles, cakes and other serving trays. The doors also hold a lot of condiments & drinks. Its a classy and sophisticated look. Although, fingerprints show easily. The handkerchief could be better offset with a matte color that doesnt show the fingerprints so much. Thats where youd see them the most. As far as the mechanics are concerned, I would definitely trust a Kenmore. The aesthetics could use a bit of finessing. Over-engineering with sensors is not necessary, but reliability and energy-saving are pluses.

This refrigerator has been a blessing all the while I have used it. I have never had any problems with it. I enjoy this brand and this product. This fridge is perfect for me and my family. I would definitely encourage it to my friends and family to use. This item never breaks down and keeps working all the time. My refrigerators color is just the right color I like. It is black and that is my favorite color in the whole wide world. I would not trade it in for another one for any reason. The value of this item is still the same I believe. It still works as good as before. I paid a decent price for it and I think I got a great deal on it. This brand is the best.

It was ok. Had some issues with deep freeze sometimes but over all kept good cold and able to consume. It would need defrosted every couple weeks because of some issue it was having. It was good sized but I needed more with kids at home and needed a newer refrigerator. It came with the house we bought. But knew I was going to get set French door refrigerator soon. It was off color, a little Almond color, went with the other appliances but Zinio was changing the color when I bought new ones remodeling kitchen and wanted new appliances. Value was good for the size but had some issues with needing defrosting a lot. Never really found out the problem with it. Just used it till I could get a new one.

The refrigerator has great efficiency when keeping items cold, and would not overuse the electricity. Very happy with the freezer. Its quiet, efficient, and has enough room for meats and veggies. Perfect for couples. Also, it fit quite easily in the kitchen, though not too convinced with the doors opening side by side. Would recommend to get if kitchen isnt so cluttered together. The appearance is very basic with the stainless steel, it isnt too flashy or too simple. But, it scratches easily when putting things on the doors like magnetic objects. Also, I feel like it is overpriced because its a very simple refrigerator and its functions arent very complex at all.

We purchased a Kenmore Elite 2012 and in three months it stopped working and the repairman came various times. So many times we were given a new Elite refrigerator. I was tickled pink until I had the same issues with the new one. The ice maker stopped working. The unit would frost over. Finally we were informed that all of these refrigerators have the same issues. Sears honors the warranty I paid for but cannot rectify the issue. We have changed the fan and the computer board many times. Every 3 or so months something goes wrong with the unit. I have never had a refrigerator that cannot be repaired. In Miami we owned the old style Elite and it was great. Sorry to say we sold it with the house. The repairman from Sears was here two weeks ago and repaired the water dispenser. Now its another fan. I imagine once the warranty ends we must buy another but not a Kenmore. I used to love Kenmore.

Had plenty of room for all my food. It was easy to set up the temperature and it never failed at its job. Normal sized fridge and had plenty of room for large items like the water pitcher and milk. The freezer also was great. Never had any problems with it. The inside was easy to clean and organized as I saw fit. The door part was large and easy to clean also. Kenmore is a great product and company. I never had any problems with it and have had it for 4 years now.

Purchased on 2/16/15. Delivered 4/2/15. 8/22/15 - Called for repair - Motor broke -- All food spoiled. Several repairs and parts ordered over months. Motor broke, Motherboard broke, 6 boxes of parts delivered to house for install. Still no fridge to use. Sears offered no loaner, nothing for our family. After working for 1 month with Christian, from the Los Altos Appliance Dept., a new one was traded out in November 2015 -- I purchased 3 year extended warranty on the replacement.7/28/17 - Fridge. temp read 33 degrees ** but food felt less cold to touch. 8/4 - 8/6/17-- All food spoiling. went to Los Altos Sears for help. Salesman said they couldnt help. Said to call 800 - 4 my home. 8/6/17 - Called above number and was placed on emergency repair list by Greg. Soonest appt. may be Aug 15th but they may call to come in at a moments notice anytime before then if there is extra time in the schedule, maybe. Getting an ice chest for milk, etc and taking any food that is still good, to friends for them to keep cold in their fridge. Now we wait 9 days??? I have emails with the Sears Help websites. So many years of Sears good name just.

Kenmore is such a great brand. I also have a vacuum cleaner from this brand. They make high-quality products and services that are durable and long lasting and extremely innovative and technologically advanced. You really get what you pay for with Kenmore products. The Kenmore refrigerator is very spacious and what I love most about it is it is energy efficient. It keeps my food fresh and is very easy to clean. It has enough shelves for all of my products and it is very quiet and stylish as well. I would highly recommend Kenmore refrigerator as well as other products and they also have great after sales service and good customer service.

It has three shelves inside to easily stack the food for freezes. It even has a pull out drawer for extra storage. When food is kept in there it stays nice and cold. It is big like the size of a full-size fridge, except for the fact that it is all freezer. It has lots of space inside and very deep too. It is a tall, white, solid color freezer that is square in shape. It also needs a fairly big space to fit into. Overall it has great value and I would highly recommend this freezer. Since I bought it I have never had a problem with it. It runs nice and quietly.

I like that the freezer and cooler work good and the drawers in the refrigerator part are placed in convenient places. I love the freezer but wish it were bigger. I think the fridge is fine overall. I love how big the refrigerator part is and how big the drawers are for meat, veggies, and other food. I think the freezer is too small though. It is white and plain on the outside and is nicer on the inside. I think the drawers are pretty cool but nothing fancy. I am cheap and thought that this was a pretty good deal for a basic refrigerator. It is doing what it needs to do and for the price I dont expect more.

Ample space. Sliding shelves. Sliding drawers. Laid out very nice. Freezer on bottom with 2 shelves, lots of room. Single door with ice cube (inside) maker. Easy to clean. Black shows more dirt. Would not recommend that color.

Kenmore is my favorite brand. The design is spectacular and the appearance is unique. In addition, it has a perfect size. My food and drinks are well located for its size. It has different types of freezers and a great variety to choose from. I recommend it to my friends and my family. I love Kenmore.

I have a Kenmore side by side that is 7 years old. One year ago the water line that services the drinking water developed a leak. The leak was not at a bend or pressure point. It just split on the side of the hose. I spliced the line the with some new line and 2 connector. Recently it started leaking again. The original hose is so brittle that if I were to push on a connector it will most likely break again. The hose runs into the back wall so it cannot be replaced without tearing off the entire back panel which Im not sure is even possible. I feel that a water line should last close to as long as the rest of the unit. Especially if it is not replaceable. So thanks Kenmore for saving 10 cents and using cheap materials. I guess you think I should take my fridge to a landfill and buy a new one every 7 years.

This is a great refrigerator. Its size really lets us keep everything we need in it and also, it has an alarm to let you know that the door has been left open.

Id really recommend this refrigerator because it makes the food and drinks so cool (cold) and so good to drink and the food makes it so it doesnt get soggy and all that. It can fit all my items I got from the grocery store and it can fit all the things I look at and I put it in and it fits well as a gazelle in a farm. OMG, this is the best refrigerator ever! It is the biggest refrigerator ever. I love this refrigerator! The value is $2250 so for that price is good for a refrigerator. :D I love this refrigerator so much!

The Kenmore refrigerator had the features I wanted and was a good price at the time I was looking. It was at a Sears which was convenient and I trusted their brands. The refrigerator was reliable and lasted over 25 years without any problems. It was worth the price I paid.

Sold this unit with our last home, which we had for 7 years. Good interior design layout, no frost problems, energy efficient and easy to clean and maintain. A good height for low ceiling homes. We were very happy with the layout of the refrigerator side; the door shelves are well placed and interior shelving is adjustable. The freezer is a little cramped, but that is a sacrifice for an ice maker. Height is great for lower ceiling homes. The refrigerator looked beautiful in the kitchen, it is easy to match with other appliances. Its easy to clean and resists scratches and stains. The price was comparable to other models in its class - we could have gotten a lesser known brand with a freezer below, but decided to go with the Kenmore because of the reputation and warranty.

Very good refrigerator. Had it for five years. I bought it from Best Buy and it was on sale for 300- it was a great deal and it has a lot of space inside. I just love it! My refrigerator is very spacious inside. I can get all of my groceries- meats, frozen food, including pizzas, ice cream, and tv dinners. There is so much space for fresh fruits and vegetables. My refrigerator is white and it has two doors- top and bottom. This refrigerator has a very glossy appearance and very easy to clean. It has clear transparent storage containers inside so you can always find what youre looking for. I purchased my refrigerator at Brandsmart for 300.00 five years ago and it still looks brand new. It was on sale and I never had any problems with it.

Kenmore in my opinion is one of the best brands available. The first kenmore I purchased was a rather older used one but it still worked great. When it was upgrade time I decided to get a brand new kenmore and it is well worth the money. The temperature control is easy to adjust, the shelves offer enough space for my needs, and best of all with a toddler its easy to clean.

Kenmore refrigerators are the best in my opinion! Great cooling everywhere including the fast making ice maker and water dispenser - Always cold. I enjoy having the lights in the freezer area too.

Love the design and the size. A lot of room for all your favorite foods. Very trustworthy. Has the latest technology. Will last forever. Love how much space I has in it. Can fit a army load of food in there or at least enough to last for a very long long time. The freezer have a good bit of shape too. I love the color. It is very easy to clean and to see your own reflection like looking into a mirror. Very nice. I love it very much a lot. It is a great price for what you are buying. Has all the best features for a awesome price. And its affordable for people who dont have much money. Well worth it.

I have a Side by Side Kenmore refrigerator. It is equipped with icemaker and water dispenser. I have had it for approx 10 years and can honestly say I have had very little trouble with it. There are four shelves on fridge side, 2 large bins and one small one, four shelves on the fridge door, two shelves in the freezer side with two baskets, three small shelves on freezer door. I am very satisfied with it and when it comes time to buy another one it will be Kenmore.

The performance of my Kenmore refrig is really good. It produces the right amount of ice and keeps all my food cold when I need to reheat it and eat it. The size of my fridge is really good. The appearance of my Kenmore refrig is decent. It has a shiny outside that does shine quality overall. It somewhat does attract fingerprints but its fine since it looks really good. Although the fridge is really big, it costs on the high end of fridges. I bought another fridge before and it was cheaper. For the price and luxury, I think its fine but overall, I think it costs too much.

Bought Sears Kenmore Elite refrigerator about 3 years ago. One of worst purchases we ever made!!!! Shelves rusted after 6 months & refrigerator totally crapped out a few weeks ago. Customer service was non-existent. Not hard to figure out why Sears is a has-been company on the brink of collapse! Will not purchase another appliance from Sears...E-V-E-R!!!!

It seemed like it lasted forever. We left it in the house we moved from and it was still working fine. The settings inside were great and it kept everything just as we wanted it cold wise. It could have been a little larger. We had a hard time grocery shopping for the month because we could not fit everything into our freezer. The shelves inside the fridge door were somewhat small as well. It looked great and was the perfect match to all of our other appliances. We liked the way it looked inside and out. I would highly recommend this to anyone who doesnt need a huge fridge or needs a fridge for a small place in their home. It didnt cost a ton and it was easy to get repaired as well. The fridge lasted for years and I have no complaints about the way it worked either so the value was great for the size and functionality of the fridge.

I spent $2800 on a new Kenmore Elite French door with bottom freezer. At 18 months it stopped cooling/freezing. The warranty is 12 months so I was not happy. I called to Sears home service and it took 3 WEEKS to get a tech out and I had to pay for a service call. He diagnosed the issue that it was a compressor and said it would cost $435 in labor since the compressor had a 5 year warranty. It took ANOTHER 3 WEEKS to get the tech to come out to replace the compressor which he did. He found out that the 1st tech misdiagnosed and the 2nd tech said it was the main circuit board. He needed to order and it would be an additional $269. Guess what... ANOTHER 3 WEEKS to get yet 3rd tech to come out to install the new circuit board. I will keep you all posted in 3 weeks.

After having all Kenmore kitchen appliances that lasted over 15 years, I decided to go with Kenmore for everything again. Turns out the quality is no longer the same. Appliances are less than 3 years old and today the refrigerator and freezer both stopped working. Its a counter depth, Kenmore Pro series, freezer on the bottom. After doing some research today, I found out that its made by LG. The cost of the refrigerator with the additional warranty was about $3,300. So, I call Sears today to schedule a tech to come out and see whats wrong with it. They tell me the soonest emergency service they can schedule is October 19th... 11 days from now!! Thats insane! No wonder this company is getting ready to close. I will never purchase Kenmore appliances again!Updated on 10/15/2018: After doing some research today, it looks like theres a potential class-action lawsuit against Kenmore and LG for these faulty, short-lived compressors. Apparently, this lawsuit also covers the LG compressors hidden behind the Kenmore façade. Heres a link with information about the potential lawsuit: **. Hope everyone with this problem follows through with this, especially after Sears filed chapter 11 bankruptcy today. This means the extended warranties purchased by consumers will be decided in court as far as whether or not Sears will have to honor them.Also, heres some good info if you run into a problem and need to contact Sears... Inside my refrigerator owners manual, it mentions that warranty repairs are eligible for rental reimbursement. When I asked Sears about that... they then decided to tell me that they would send me a check for $115 which would cover part of the cost to buy a small refrigerator to use til mine is repaired. I purchased a small, 3.3 CF fridge (not a Kenmore though!) for just over this price. Also, as mentioned in the owners manual, you can fill out a form to get $250 back from Sears for spoiled food caused by the refrigerator not working. It states that you can claim this $250 one time per year. Again, until I brought this up to Sears, they werent going to mention it. Hope this info helps other frustrated customers! In the meantime, Im still waiting for the tech to come out to diagnose what happened to mine. Seems like it was another compressor failure. I should know more on Friday... after 11 days without my refrigerator.

It has a low life capacity and usually, the bulb burns out decently quick which is not a huge problem and should be fixed. Also, I never had room to do what I needed to do and the unreasonable size made it even harder. Its just a hard to handle fridge. But it is still a nice fridge and just my style.

Its spacious, works properly, has temperature control settings, it has a freezer, it has compartments to store vegetables and fruits, the door has spacious shelves as well. It is a reputable brand that manufactures quality products.

If you think you are buying a TRUE Kenmore product you are not. If you buy a refrigerator you are buying an LG refrigerator. Read the reviews on LG made products before you buy one. They are abysmal. I have a 4 year old Kenmore Elite refrigerator, made by LG, that has been out for over 3 weeks. Sears will not replace it and so far they havent been able to fix it. Terrible customer service and a subcontractor technician who is actually a part changer. They dont come out to fix the refrigerator but to troubleshoot and order parts they think might be the problem. What a joke. After 3 techs and numerous parts ordered and installed I still have no refrigerator. The latest possible fix date is the 26th of July. The refrigerator failed on the 25th of June.

Bought a Kenmore refrigerator Nov 2017, under warranty, repair techs out twice, two more scheduled repairs. They were a no show, Philippines based customer care is incompetent. DONT BUY KENMORE! SEARS IS DEAD!

I loved the alarm on the door. It was very helpful with my special needs daughter who only partially shut the door. Plus I loved having the filter for water and ice. I loved that it wasnt too large. For me the size was perfect. I needed that space as my daughter and husband ate a lot. Previous refrigerators were too small for me. I purchased this one specifically for its size. I was going for a stainless steel look in all my appliances and I started with this refrigerator. I love the Kenmore brand. All of my appliances will be Kenmore stainless steel. The amount I paid for this refrigerator was a little extra and that was only because I had purchased it through a rental place. Had I purchased it through Sears and my credit were better at the time, I would have paid less for it.

It was at least 25 years ago and it was an excellent product. Anything that Sears puts their label or brand on has to meet super standards and this refrigerator lasted for 20 plus years.

Never had any problems. Had lots of space, kept everything cold, didnt freeze vegetables and cheese, self defrosted freezer, was quiet, never runs loudly, keeps frozen food frozen, not frostbitten.

It was over 15 years ago when I had a Kenmore refrigerator but it met my expectations. It was good, reliable and easy. It was also quality at a reasonable price and the store was a good location; Kenmore is sold by Sears at that time.
