Kenmore Washer difficulty
We purchased this top loading washer less than a year ago and have been very unsatisfied. Would love our old, no energy efficient, agitating washer back in a heartbeat. This new machine never appears to clean the clothes well. They not only come out a wrinkled mess, they also come out with white splotches and dirt splotches on many dark clothing.
This washer is excessively noisy. It makes many different noises and is totally annoying! The washer does not fill up with enough water even when you select Deep Fill. You must put the detergent in before you load your clothes and this completely stained a new shirt. The fill rate is slow. If you need to stop the washer it does not cancel out properly. The cycle takes too long.
This Dishwasher is the best we have used since we were married. It’s cleans perfect, we’ve had it for at least 10 years maybe longer. We have only had to call service once. Overall we love this Dishwasher and would purchase another to replace this one.
I like how it washing my clothes. I like how the product is made. I like how I can use the product. I can use it all the time cause it cleans my clothes. I will never change the product name. I will use it all the time. It product is very reliability. I know that if I told my friends they would use the product too. I know I can make sure it would clean my clothes the way I like it. Smell nice and clean. The appearance is really good. I like the value of the product. I like how they help you out the service that needs to be done on the products and I know it will last for a long time and I know it will work like new if I had it a for a long time. I know I can take good care so it can stay the value of the product.
This model is my first front loader washing machine. I had heard of many problems with these but have only encountered one - if I dont religiously wipe the door inside and leave it open for a few hours, it develops a nasty sour smell. Otherwise, it does a good job of cleaning my clothes and uses a whole lot less water. I am still evaluating this machine but so far, so good.
We purchased a Kenmore series 300 washing machine in September 2015. It was our first Kenmore we have ever purchased in over 55 years. The machine is terrible. The tub design causes the machine to vibrate severely even with medium loads. It doesnt clean the clothes very good and my wife has to run clothes through the rinse cycle at least twice and even then there is soak in the clothes. We would definitely not recommend Kenmore to anyone, especially this machine.
I am happy with my Kenmore washer because it cleans large loads of laundry, rinses the clothes well and uses less water. Its a very reliable washer with a large load capacity. Its quiet and rinses the clothes well with less water. I would recommend this washer. Washer is white with a clear lid that lets you see the inside. Shiny finish and will dent easily if not taken care of. Washers are overpriced these days for not lasting as long as they used to, but I am happy with my washer. Not necessarily the price I paid.
Kenmore does NOT participate to monitor feedback on ConsumerAffairs and resolve your issues. Sears should monitor feedback on ConsumerAffairs. My 2 year old top washer sounds like a jet engine on spin cycle and is tearing small holes in my t-shirts. Now it stopped pumping water out of the drain cycle. I am done with Sears and their crappy quality. I was brought up on Sears. No wonder they are fighting for survival. Selling junk to cut corners for profit will eventually catch up with them.
Our Kenmore washer, purchased in 2006, stopped working recently. Error code F22 appeared on the front panel which is a door latch failure. I ordered another latch and installed it myself. When I attempted to operate the washer the latch immediately failed again and gave the F22 code. I then called Sears appliance repair. When they finally showed up, the technician put a new latch assembly in and it too immediately failed. He said the controller was sending a continuous latch signal which destroys the latch and that I would need a new controller and latch. We had purchased an extended warranty for $319.00 which would cover up to $500.00 in repairs but the price he quoted went beyond that by $287.00. I saw no other choice so I authorized the repair. After the technician left, I looked on the Sears parts website to compare the part prices he had quoted us and found that the repair guys price was double the price Sears quoted. I called the technician to ask him why and he said he had no control over pricing and that I would have to complain to Sears. The Sears rep told me that the repair people get their parts from a different source. I told him there was no way I was going to pay double and asked for a refund on the parts and cancelled the warranty. I eventually received my two refunds. As of this writing, I still have no functional washing machine.
Washer does not rinse clothes completely. Takes 2 cycles to get the clothes completely rinsed and the soap out. Have adjusted the amount of soap used with the same results. Very disappointed with the Kenmore line.
I caught this washer on sale about 7 or 8 years ago. I only had to have it serviced once, that was for a belt and it was an easy fix. Other than that, the performance has been great. This is a great washer. I have always been able to rely on it to get my loads of clothing washed. It doesnt have a lot of bells and whistles but it has what is needed. Its not big and bulky and it leaves a lot of space in my laundry room. It has paid for itself at least a billion times by now. I love it. Its a very reliable product and I would highly recommend it.
I have owned my front loader for 18 years and it’s still running strong, I have never had an issue with it and will definitely buy this brand again. It is very user friendly and I can only imagine how the new models are.
Quality product that performed well. No issues that I can complain about. I washed many clothes and then dried many clothes. I then wore them and looked amazing. People would stop me on the street and beg to hear the secret of my look. I would whisper Kenmore then run away.
Kenmore Elite Oasis washer - I bought ours in 07 and started having trouble 6 months after we bought it! It wouldnt start when you pushed the button! We had to keep turning it off and on to get it to finally start! My husband is a Mr. Fix It so he figured out it was the computer board! He made sure all the wires were attached and such! I called Sears to complain and of course, they said I could get a repairman out! I told them it was 6 months old! My husband ordered a new board and put it in then it worked! Then a few months later, it started leaking water on the floor! Thank goodness its in the basement with a drain by it! So I kept using it! So yesterday, I heard a horrible racket coming from the basement, so I ran down and it was spinning with this terrible noise coming from it. So Ive been looking on the net for answers. They did recall them but not until 2010! So mine is too old! Hopefully, my husband can fix it again! Im so disappointed in this washer! You would think for as much money you spend, it wouldnt have this many problems! Our 1st washer lasted 20 years. It was a Maytag. Im not sure if that brand is better or they just dont make them like they used to. I would never recommend this washer to anyone!
I have been using Kenmore products for 35+ years. I bought my last Kenmore 500 clothes washer about 3 years ago. I am disappointed that the gentle wash merely beats the heck out of the clothes for a couple of minutes, then stops for a minute, then thrashes them some more. My old Kenmore would agitate nice and slow, almost like a hand wash.
Kenmore Elite Oasis He Repair - Purchased this washer about 6 years ago. For the last 3 years has had difficulty filling and draining. My clothes come out dingy and dry in places at times. Takes 10-12 days for repair appt. When a part is needed and not on the truck, its another 10-12 days to order a part, then another 10-12 days to book a repair appt. That means no washer for 2-4 weeks for each repair. Going to the laundromat for 10 loads gets old. Sears warranty replacement guarantee only kicks in if a major part was replaced 5 times in a calendar year. They have been out several times for the problem, but because no major part replaced it doesnt count. Have gone to Customer Care numerous times without success. Frustrating.
It gives a good drying! It doesnt take really long to finish a load. It is energy efficient and doesnt make noises loudly. Kenmore is a brand to trust. It has a big enough of area to put a huge load in, it doesnt mess up colours, it has a timer to tell you what cycle its on. It has white for the colour, its shiny that you turn the light on you can see it shimmer. It has a huge tub, its the Kenmore brand. Its awesome! I cant remember how much we bought it for. In all honesty it was a good deal for it being a major brand. I recommend getting it because ours last a long time.
The capacity was great from small loads to extra large loads and perfect for the messiest clothes. You dont have to use much detergent either. I have grown children who bring their laundry to my home to wash and this washer has held up with all the extra wear and tear on it. It gets the job done and you dont even know when it is running because it is quiet and very dependable machine and good at helping remove set in stains. It is very sturdy and dependable and the price is where it is affordable and reliable and even can have a service agreement put on it in the event something goes wrong. It is a wonderful item and would recommend it to my family and Friends.
It is pretty good. Gets the clothes clean. The washer works pretty quietly and efficiently - it is reliable. It is ready when I need it. It starts easily and is easy to use. It does not require a lot of work or maintenance. So it is easy to throw in load of laundry and go do something else. The washer is ok looking - it is classic looking - white and clean looking - simple not complicated. It does not take a lot of spaces - fits in corner nicely. It is a good value - if I had to take laundry out it would take so much of my precious time - it is so much easier to be able to do laundry at home.
Our machine is an older model, but it handles everything I pack it with! When its time to replace it, I will definitely consider the company. My clothing comes out clean, and the songs are straightforward.
Is great brand and clean and dry very well my clothes, is very impressive how this machine are working. The shape is very outstanding and trusted very effective, expensive. I cant live without this two machine. I recommend to everyone.
The machine washed my clothes effectively and in a timely manner. You can wash many loads per day and still have daylight on your side. This washer can wash bedspreads, curtains and a lot of bulky items too, including rugs. Heavy duty and very reliable. It fits perfectly in small spaces. Large but not bulky, shiny white with nice control panel. The machine come in a few other color opinions to choose from. If you have an apartment this work well. It has been a while since I purchased this machine and dont know the exact price. But Im a single mom with two kids so I know for the pair it was under $600.
This is my second Kenmore washer (mod. 110). After five years with the first one, it started wrapping clothes around the agitator and tearing them. So we bought another one (mod. 110). After five months, it is doing the same thing.
We purchased a Kenmore Elite washer 7-4-11. It was not much trouble in the first few months but I always had to make sure I did a large load or the machine would constantly be out of balance. Recently, I got a safety recall on the machine recently. I had the repairman out to install the update necessary. He has been out three times now and my problems have grown to the point of no return. I am totally unhappy with this machine and your update. As soon as I can get money saved up, it is out of my sight and being replaced with a different brand. You have got to be kidding if you think people are not going to drive you crazy with complaints. If you do a light load, it goes through 3 or 4 Rinse cycles and is constantly out of balance. It now takes 2 to 2 1/2 hours to do a small load of laundry and you call that efficient! I stay at home so I am able to stand over the stupid thing, but for working people, it will be a nightmare. My advice is to stay away from any Kenmore Elite. It sucks!
Ill try to be as fair as I can without cursing. I really, really HATE my Kenmore high efficiency washing machine. It takes literally hours if not the whole day to wash a single load. And when the cycle complete light says its done and I open the lid, Im usually looking at a load that has not spun and is soaking wet. Ive tried every setting and Im constantly having to come back to the machine to check if its going o.k. I thought by purchasing this machine I would save on water but instead, I end up rewashing loads and wasting time. Its a nightmare. Its a fairly new machine and Im already considering taking it to the dump and buying a new one. I wouldnt want to donate it. Nobody deserves a machine like this. Ive had family members ask me how I like my machine because they needed a new one. I told them not to buy the high efficiency ones. I told them the truth. I HATE IT! I will never ever buy another one like this or recommend it to anyone. It may even deter me from buying Kenmore products too.
For the price, the performance is well worth the cost. Clothing and other wash loads come out extremely clean every single time and is always very consistent as well. Very consistent in how effective it is in washing everything from silks and cottons and jeans to towels and bedding. In all the years we have had it, it has had the power. This is a basic, no-frills washing machine. While it doesnt have all the knick knacks and features of other models, the price is right and the cleaning power and consistency is awesome. Almost feels like an absolute steel when talking about the functionality and power this base model has. Totally worth every penny and feel good spending money on it.
It has a great size capacity to wash several clothes at one time. There is a delicate and regular and spin cycle. I truly would recommend this machine to anyone. This washing machine is very reliable. You can fit numerous items in at one time and always expect them to come out clean and fresh. We have not had any issues with our washer at all. We choose the white washing machine as most of our items are white. The inside has a pretty good size tub and there are numerous options that you can choose from for a cycle to wash your clothes. We paid around $300 for our washing machine which I feel is a great value. If you think about how much money you will be saving from not having to go to the laundromat then you will quickly realize that this is truly an excellent value not to mention definitely more convenient.
I put a twin sized comforter in the Kenmore Elite Series 700 washer by itself because it had throw up on it. I washed it under the bulky/bedding option and selected all of the options it would allow me to (prewash, fabric softener, rinse twice, and stain boost- I would have selected deep fill as well but it wont allow you to when you are running the bulky/bedding setting) and it still had throw up caked up on it when I took it out!!! ALL OF MY CLOTHES HAVE STAINS ON THEM NOW BECAUSE THIS WASHER DOES NOT WASH! I talked to the people at SEARS about this and they agreed that something must be wrong with it since it came out with throw up still on it and told me to have a service guy come look at it. So I did and the guy told me himself that he agrees that the top load agitator-less washers dont clean worth crap. He said this model here is not made for washing blankets or comforters or rugs or pillows- its just not made for that- it wont get them clean so I asked him if it says that it doesnt wash blankets (...etc.) anywhere in the description of the product because had it said that we would not have bought it (for 650$!) because we wash a lot of those things and need them to actually get clean!!! And you know what he had the audacity to say to me?!? He said well ya- just like it doesnt specifically say that you cant wash concrete blocks in it neither. So I said ok but who would even try to wash concrete blocks? He then said its just a common sense thing. CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?!? Instead of admitting that they have been selling a less than perfect appliance and showing some integrity by making things right, they are getting over on us all and will Im sure go out of business soon here. I will be suing.
I brought a Kenmore washer in March of 2010. By the summer of 2010, the machine dial needed to be replaced. My washer was still under warranty, so the part and labor was covered. It has not been two years, and the dial broke again. My washer is no longer under any warranty, due to being on disability, and I am unable to afford the extended warranty. I feel the washer should have lasted longer than a year and a half. I also feel Sears should fix this washer for free. I have to try to make the washer work, by turning the dial from the bottom, and hope that the machine will land on the wash cycle.
Kenmore elite oasis washer - This washer is a total piece of crap. I have had it 2 yrs and I am going to set it on fire in my backyard on Saturday when my new one gets here. A total piece of garbage. I was going to try and trade it on craigslist to a handyman or something and at least get something I can actually wash clothes in but I prefer to burn. No one buy one from Sears and shame on them for selling such a piece of crap...
Washes my clothes good and gets out tough stains my previous washers couldnt. I would recommend anyone looking for a new washer to buy this one. Havent had any problems with my washer breaking down so Id say its pretty reliable. The best washer Ive ever owned. Definitely worth the money. Its a great looking washer that is easy to use and is the basic size you would expect a washer to be. Its easy to empty and load. A great buy. For the price its definitely a good buy. Havent had any breakdowns or malfunctions. If youre in the market for a new washer I recommend buying this one.
It does not take long to clean what I need to clean. It does not make a lot of noise and is easy to use. I love it. When I bought I was very excited and I most dependently would not buy another washer for a good, good twenty years. It is very, very reliable. I can really count on it to wash every item correctly and in a timely manner every single time I use it. I would never use any brand but this one. It is very, very cute and I love it in my kitchen. It is just so pretty and I really love it. Everyone should buy this washer. It is perfect or anybody house. Washers are really pricey any way so the price I payed was amazing. I even got sweet discount. You really get a lot for your money. You will love it.
Clothes are cleaner. They take less time. They use less detergent than other washing machines. I actually look forward to washing clothes now. Economic on water use and energy efficient, quick, stable, cleans well with good array of different cycles, easy to use, load and unload. Ergonomic design fits well with normal counter heights. Durable with ability to handle recurring and high-frequency heavy loads. No maintenance or repair issues since owned. Reliable timer devices and release of additive like fabric softener.Clean lines and ergonomic design, with color choices, that integrate with laundry room design. Dials and doors are placed in convenient locations and add to look of appliance. Price was higher than some competitors model of similar in function and level in line. Cost higher than lower line machines. Reliability and durability balances cost for a good value for cost. They do cost a bit more than others but for the quality of the washer it is well worth the price. I didnt mind paying a little extra once seen how it performs.
Purchased new Kenmore Elite Front Loading Washer in November 2013. Very loud and noisy. Cannot watch TV in the next room. When I wash heavy loads like 3 Large towels it stops in the middle of spin I guess unbalanced. I have to restart the spin. Does not make sense. I purchased the largest tub size they had. Top of the line. As far as the noise, when they delivered they never balanced and after reading the directions it says this is critical for the spin cycle and noise. I went and bought a 4 level and balanced the machine per instructions. Helped minimal but too extremely loud. Will never buy another Kenmore. It has leaked water about 4 or 5 times. I walk in the room and water on the floor. I called Sears for service and they advised to read the directions and you have to closely follow the type cloths you wash and the type cycle or it leaks. It you have KIDS DO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE. I am an Adult and I caused it to leak water 4 or 5 times in 7 months. If I had known this I would have never purchased this machine. I paid for a 5 year maintenance too so about $2,000 for a new washing machine that leaks water on my floor if I choose the wrong cycle for washing. Brilliant minds at Sears. You cannot make this stuff up!
I bought the Sears Kenmore Elite top-loading, high-efficiency washing machine (manufactured by LG) in May 2011 for close to $1,000. At first, it was fine. A few weeks ago (January 2013), it started overflowing every time it fills. I watched the numbers on the control board go wonky instead of counting down the minutes sequentially. It overflows on the wash cycle, wont drain unless I stop the cycle, and manually select drain/spin, then it drains perfectly. I recognize a wacky computer when I see one, so I unplugged it thinking it might reset itself. Problem keeps happening. I researched it on the internet and saw that there is defective casing material used in the manufacture and the motherboard gets wet!I called Sears expecting the company I knew from all these years to be there. But all I get is cryptic, non-answers to direct questions and pressure to purchase a service agreement. Ive been unemployed for a few months and I dont have $230 to put into a $1,000 machine that I just bought! Oh, and by the way, if the repair costs more than $500, your service agreement doesnt cover the additional cost. You get to take care of that out of your own pocket. I wanted Sears to come fix the problem caused by faulty manufacture or at least give me a straight answer about what the likely cause of the problem is and how much it would take to fix it. It doesnt matter who it is, whoever youre talking to doesnt have the information you need. You get transferred or disconnected. Whoever youre transferred to doesnt have the information you need either and cant imagine why the first person transferred you to them. I dont believe a corporation would permit such incompetence if it didnt pay off.So I did some more research and found out on Consumer Reports that my unit was covered by a recall. I called Sears back and asked them, Why are you trying to sell me a service agreement for a unit that is covered by a recall? explaining again how the machine was flooding my laundry room. They said, Oh, thats totally unacceptable, says the agent. Let me transfer you to the Product Resolution department. The Product Resolution guy puts me on hold to look into it for several minutes. (If I ever hear a Sears customer service person say theyre going to look into it again, Ill start getting suspicious!) The Product Resolution guy says Yes, you are under recall. Well set up a recall appointment for the same time you had the service call, and well cancel your service agreement and refund your money within 4 days. (This is less than an hour after I had caved on the service agreement upsell.)Mind you, this appointment is 10 days in the future, the best they can do. Their technicians are very busy and they wont tell you what time of day, or give you a number to contact the technician, or any information that would empower you to have control of your day. Sometime between 8am and 5pm, so in the interim, I got a job and they would like me to start the day before this appointment. Now, I have to delay my start date so that I wont have to deal with personal business the first week of my new job. Already Sears has cost me $375 in lost wages. So, today is the day. The technician gets here to fix my washing machine under recall. It turns out that the recall is a software update that the technician says will not address the overflowing problem. I got Sears on the phone while the technician is still here, more runaround, more transferring, more looking into it, an offer of $65 off a repair call for which they wont estimate a total cost. (And I dont believe this is not the first time theyve had this conversation; a helpful person would say something like, at worst its this, at best its that.) Finally, I talked to a supervisor, went through the whole story again, and I asked her what she would advise if I were her mother. She told me this isnt personal with me. Sears cant provide you any more services because the machine is no longer under warranty. I replied with Sears can, but it wont. Sears knows theres an issue with this machine, and its happy to have its brand associated with it when youre charging $1,000 but you dont want to stand behind it when theres a problem. A new washing machine doesnt act like this and I can see other people on the internet have had the same problem. I believe their new business model is to hold customers hostage to an outrageous initial investment on products with known defects and then gouge them for repairs. If it already costs a lot, why not pay a little more? The whole customer service process is set up to make it so painful that you just cave in. Its immoral, and if it isnt illegal, it ought to be. If theres a class action suit, I want to be part of it.
Kenmore Dishwasher machine does a great job. Comes from a well respected product line that has been around since my grandmother’s time and has never failed to perform its assigned with efficiency. This product line brings back fond recollections of the machines I used as a child. Handles reasonable loads, simple to use, load & clean. Reliable operation without an overabundance of functions that I neither use or need. Handles all the capacity I need in my day to day life with conservative use of water, soap and power. My main concern with any unit is that it easy to load, and handles the washing with as little trouble as possible. Easy to clean, with a spartan appearance that lends itself to my lifestyle and sensibilities. I especially like the clean lines and simple control features without an attempt at being overly stylish or trendy. Simplicity is my driving concern.
Great washer, never had any complaints after 12 years of ownership! I would highly recommend purchasing this brand or Kenmore Elite. I found the key (start/stop) buttons to be very easy to maneuver and is very easy to clean inside and outside.
Great! Worked great. Wonderful performance. Not loud or squeaky. Efficient in power and utility. Would like to own another set. Keeps up with my heavy laundry use. Long lasting impression of greatness. Highly recommend to others. Holds up well through multiple washes and drying. Cost is very much worth it for the great sturdiness.
My Kenmore washer broke down in 1/2017. I paid a Sears technician $99 to come and tell me that a $600 washer required a $1400 repair. I discarded that washer and purchased a new Kenmore washer in 2/2017 for ~$600. In a little over two years, the new washer began to leak water with every wash to the point of flooding the house and making the washer not useful. The washer is getting used by 2 people who use it for usual clothes/sheets washes for a family of two. After another repair person visit, I was told that the tub is torn and will cost $1400 to replace. So my options are to (a) buy a new washer for $600 every two years, (b) buy a new washer for $600 and then buy a so-called appliance protection plan for $600/year to get a protection plan which pays $500 towards the repair or replacement AND pay the $99 technician fee on each repair. So my question is, as a consumer spending $600 on an appliance, am I expected to pay another $600/yr for repairs to this appliance after two years of life or spend $600 every two years because thats the lifespan of a Sears washer?
My Kenmore washer washes large loads as good as it does small and is very dependable. It handles anything you test it with. This washing washing machine has lasted a very long time. It performs as well as washing machines costing much more. The warranty on this machine is fantastic but will probably never be needed. My machine is neat and sleek and fit wherever you want to put it. The controls are easy to read and understand. I love the top loading design. Great for convenience. In comparison to other washing machines of its generation, its value is superb because it is so well built and possibly the last machine you will need to buy.
It was a front loading Kenmore washer bought from Sears. It started making a noise on the spin cycle and then something snapped inside and it would not do the final spin at all. No support from sears, no support from kenmore. They would not even bother to return our calls. We had to buy a new machine and throw away the old one. Please stop buying products from these two companies as both their product quality and after sales service are extremely poor. At this rate they will soon be joining other out of business companies of yesterday.
I bought a new Kenmore washer 7/2011. It will not rinse in the normal and heavy duty cycles but rinses normally in the casual cycle. The repairman was prompt and knowledgeable – no complaints there but he told me that was what the washing machine was programmed to do. So, I am only able to wash laundry on the casual cycle in this new machine. Someone, please explain that to me! I will never buy another one from Sears!
This machine has been nothing short of reliable. It has worked for more years than I can remember and has needed minimal maintenance. If it ever broke, I would buy the exact same one again. This washing machine has always worked and has never broken. This machine still looks as good as the day we bought it. It has never done anything that would impact its general appearance. If anything, there is minor wear on the inside. We have gotten more than our moneys worth out of this washer. I would recommend it to my friends.
This washer works really well and has a very unique and cool looking design. I would definitely recommend this washer to other people. The washer is very reliable and easy to use. It works great on tough stains and always does a good job cleaning my clothes. Never have had any issues with this washer. The appearance of this machine is unique and I love how it looks and fits in my laundry room. The buttons are cool and the slick design makes it look futuristic. The machine is definitely worth its value. It works great for the price and Ive never had any problems. The value of this machine is great in comparison of others like it.
I have had this washer for over 10 years and have never had a problem with it. I would buy this brand again and I would recommend it to anyone who needs a washer. The washer fits all my needs. I like that you can pick the size of the load of clothes that you are going to wash and they always come out clean. This washer looks very nice but it is a plain white. I wish that the Kenmore washer like this brand came in colors like the more expensive ones. This washer was well worth what I paid for it and if it broke down tomorrow it would not owe me a cent.
My washer has been running well for 5 plus years. I washed several loads of laundry and it always got my clothes clean. I try to stick with medium sized loads. I can get four pairs of jeans and several shirts in mine. Also, I like the simplicity of it, theres nothing too confusing. You have a simple knob and controls. White is the traditional color. I am very happy with my washer. It definitely is worth what I paid for it. It gets the job done. I would recommend this type of washer to anyone.
I have two Kenmore he5t frontloading washers, we are a family of 6. I hate them. My clothes dont come out clean and I have small holes appearing in my clothes. Im wondering if it is not filling with enough water. Not sure where the holes are coming from. I can only find one other person that also notices these small holes in the clothes...
Is really good, doesnt damage the cloth, doesnt consume too much water, requires average time to work and the noise is low. It is practical and useful. I am happy and satisfied with the level of reliability because that model of washing machine can make all that I need and expect from a washing machine. The size is really good, of course if you need to wash a lot of clothes probably you need another washer, but in my case this is good for me. Simple and practical. The value of the washer is excellent because the price is good and the performance is great. Represents a great balance if we talk about price and performance.
The washer works really well. The clothes get very clean and Ive never had any issues with it. I think this washer will last for years and years without issue. This washer is very reliable. I have had it for over 5 years and have never had any issue with it at all. This is a very clean, white, plain looking washer. It will easy fit in with any decor a consumer may have. The buttons are easy to use, and would be good even for people with arthritis. I have gotten more than my moneys worth out of this washer and its still going strong. It is certainly worth the manufacturers asking price.
I have owned my washer for three years and I have never disliked an appliance more than this machine. The washer is Energy Star but this could be the most hypocritical statement made. I just did a load of clothes and it ran through the entire cycle and there were spots on some clothes that werent even wet. I can never just use the automatic settings because the washer does not know how to add the appropriate amount of water. I constantly have to start over the cycle so the machine will add more water or lift the lid so the machine is faked out so it will add more water. And if I forget to do this and all the cycles are complete, I will run the wash or rinse cycle again. Also, the machine will not let me rinse using hot water. How does the machine know what I want to rinse and the temperature that I should be rinsing in. It is extremely frustrating to not be able to select the features, I know are best for the items I am washing. Also the Express Cycle will not let me select hot water. Clearly the operator should be able to select the water temperature no matter what the cycle is. When I need to add clothes, I lift the lid while I go collect the clothes from my childrens rooms and if I dont get back in a set number of minutes, the machine will start to drain itself. I get back before it is done draining but there is no override and therefore it takes more of my time to wait until it drains fully and then again I waste water by having to start all over. Also, sometimes I need to raise the lid again but I dont want to add any additional water. Well there is no way to keep the washer from adding water after you lift the lid. Again more water waste!!! If I could leave the lid up while the washer fills with water, I would be able to check if my clothes have faded and add more clothes if I want and this would not only save water but save me very valuable time. Speaking of time, with my previous machine, I could do a complete cycle in 30 minutes and therefore I could complete 2-3 loads of laundry in the evening. But now one load is the most I can do. Even if I do the Express Cycle, this is 35 minutes and then I have to rinse again (which is another 24 minutes) so it takes an hour and the clothes are no cleaner than before. The tray for where you add bleach never drains completely. Therefore I rarely use bleach for fear that the residual water left in the tray may bleach my next load of clothes. When I do use bleach, I wipe the tray dry to ensure the bleach residue is gone. In closing, I wish Kenmore would do a more complete test market to ensure their appliances work for the users and not cater to unjustified government regulations. I assure you I use far more water and electricity with my current Kenmore Elite washer than I used with the my previous machines.
High Efficiency how? The washer runs 2x as long and have to (at least) double rinse every load to get HE soap residue off the clothes. It probably uses less water but takes twice as long to do a load.
We bought a Kenmore front load washer in 2012. I was so excited and didnt even consider another brand, as Kenmores last forever, right? Sears has always been a company that has sold quality products and built a large company due to repeat customers. I was baffled re the lock button not releasing after the load was done and also the standing water staying after the rinse cycle periodically. This from day one of purchase off and on. I have given my manual a workout in the past two years trying to figure out what I am doing wrong. Because based on being a third generation owner of exclusively Kenmore appliances, a two year old Kenmore washer would never have broken!A few months ago the standing water issue slowly progressed to the point of not spinning at all when the rinse cycle began. Out came the manual, again and again. Of course, the lock button wouldnt release due to the water level, so I drained it numerous times from the hose in the trap door. This takes over an hour and the hose is so short you have to use small containers and hope you can get one to the sink while holding the hose closed with your thumb. Then the nd error started coming on for a couple of loads and then it wouldnt do anything but hum - I cleaned every hose, snaked the drain, etc. I then called the water company who spent a couple of hours checking out the drains for roots while I tried to save the load of mildewed towels from my last load. They got a kick out of my bleach buckets and even the wheelbarrow filled with laundry :(After all options were gone I contacted Sears who sent a service tech out today. I spent $202.00 on a new drain pump with an option of buying a year warranty for almost $400.00!!! It would have been more, but I found a 20% off coupon for service calls online. I cant afford the extended warranty and even if I could, a year isnt worth that much. I am so upset, as I know I bought a lemon and am waiting for what is next. Sears, dont break your cycle of standing behind your products. I strongly feel I should be reimbursed. Please contact me.
I have had this washer fixed twice. It doesn’t clean as well. I get frustrated...no more insurance for machine. Will check which wash is better next time. I bought the soap which is recommended for the washer and still get frustrated.
I do not like a lot of bells and whistles on appliances. The less controls, the better. My Kenmore washer is easy to use and does a great job at cleaning clothes. There are only 2 persons in my household and the capacity was just right for my needs. I also like that you can adjust the capacity to what size load you need to wash. Also, its easy to wipe and clean. The value is fair and you get what you pay for.
I have a Kenmore Washer and it is very durable. It cleans my clothes very well. I do at least once a week or sometimes more about 7 or 8 loads of laundry not including we have 5 people in the house so the other two adults use it also. I have had no problem with any kinds of stains on my clothes from the washer. The washer is very easy to use and has codes when it is having an issue. No problems with it yet. I have owned it for a year now. If I ever have to buy another washer Kenmore will be the brand that I will buy.
This Kenmore series 700 washer is one of the worst washers Ive ever used. The countdown timer is rarely correct, hardly gets comforters completely clean, ie dry spots on it AFTER you take it out of the washer, which leads me to it NOT washing items completely. I could watch clothes float on top of the water while the agitator spins on the bottom, hence not cleaning them. Unless you use the DEEP FILL option for everything, it doesnt seem to get stuff clean. The only thing I like about it is the size of the washer drum, but if it doesnt clean like the old school washers do, then I may as well just do my wash at the local laundry mat.
My wife and I purchased a Sears Kenmore Elite Washer and Dryer in May 2012. We have found rust on the face and on the hinges. The service staff changed some parts at a cost of $350. The rust was not removed nor could we get a reassurance that the rust would be abated. We found that LG manufactured this machine and we are in the process of filing a complaint with LG. I think Sears needs to be responsible since it is their name on the product. Anyone else have any problems?
The washer looks like a typical model: white, top-loading, knobs located on the top panel. Nothing really special overall in the design aspect. But for what I need the washer to do, it works very well. Up to this point, I havent had to have any maintenance on the washer, even after 5 years of use. For people who dont need anything fancy, this model will be a great choice. I can fill quite a large load of laundry and not have any issues with agitation or something not coming out clean. I consistently wash large items, such as towels and sheets, and every item comes out clean. Washer times are fairly short compared to other washers Ive had in the past and the machine is fairly quiet overall when Im on the same floor. But when Im downstairs I can sometimes hear it.
I have been a Kenmore user since I started buying appliances. I have never been disappointed, and so I keep coming back. This low efficiency washer is awful. Hardly adds any water at all; its washboard does its best to destroy and rip up your clothes (I have pictures if anyone doubts me); this cycle is so long that you cannot do more that one load of washing in one night. Laundry used to be fun for me. And BTW, clothes are still not clean.
Love it. That is the best washer ever that has ever been made. I wish they would make more like that. This should be rated number 1. It has the best wash cycle ever.
Its quiet, dependable, energy-efficient and really works hard. Eight loads a week and it holds up. Does blankets, rugs, work clothes, coats, regular laundry. Works well with heavy loads too. For the price we paid, we have not had a repair bill. Its easy to use and clean. It can be moved easily, and with one person. We love it and once in a while family brings things when their washer breaks down.
My husband and grandson both work in construction and have very dirty clothes. This machine does not get stains out. I need to always pre-wash and do extra rinse. This is not energy or water saving! I have allergies and use the free & clear types of HE detergent, but still need to do an extra rinse. We also have mildew problems even though I follow the directions for cleaning the machine. I want my old one back!
A lightning damaged the wires of Laundry Center Kenmore 1YU1000 purchased in September 2009. Technician no. ** repaired the wires on August 16 and charged $408.64.After one week waiting for the parts, the washer was used immediately and it did not complete the cycle and left the laundry soaked in water. A second technician came today and said that the water pump and a belt were defective and to replace them, we would be charged $184.91. I ask you, is this appropriate for a barely two-year-old appliance? Never again will I buy anything else from Sears.
I bought my washer somewhere around 2009. Two years ago, we had to have it serviced and again we are having it serviced and they cannot seem to find out what is wrong with it. Two different people came out and they got it working and when we went to wash clothes, it is back to getting the F35 code and SUDS. We have been using Pods for a long time now, but it is a piece of garbage. I would rather have a regular washer with the agitator, nothing with electronics. It is so not worth it. I spent thousands on this pair. It is so sad how they do consumers. They trick us and keep us spending money.
We purchased the Kenmore water/energy efficient washer and we wash on either room temperature or warm water. Laundry most of the time come out not as expected with unclean chocolate stains as an example. Also, we were told by Kenmore that we have to run the express cycle (Very hot water) with vinegar in the detergent pocket to remove residual detergent and to improve the washer ability to clean even normal day to day stains. We are not happy with our purchase. Another aspect that made us unhappy is the annual PM included in a 5 year warranty (paid extra) that often the subcontractor is sending washer-untrained technicians to perform the PM.
Without an agitator the clothes do not come clean. Dah, I should have thought of that before I bought it, I know an appliance repair guy that his wife even got rid of her agitatorless machine. Thats how bad they are.
With five kids a capable, long lasting washer is a necessity. Also have found it to be very energy efficient. Size is also a plus, giving both bulk and ease of use. Ive had these products for at least a decade. Always been very satisfied, especially with the newest addition. Washes at least five loads every other day and hasnt been anything but dependable. Usually I prefer a top end loader. Current version is front loading and Im pleasantly happy with the choice. Also kids love to watch the cycles go through. Value wise I think our current washer is a bit on the high end but its hard to argue compared with the effectiveness. If given the opportunity Id definitely choose our current washer however.
You can put in a large load of laundry and feel confident that it will come out clean. The HE saves on laundry detergent and water. I like the features for whites, especially since I clean whites for my work clothes. I have never had a problem with any Kenmore washer. The brand has always been reliable. I wash large loads of linens, clothes and I can always count on them to come out clean. I like the color. Its not bulky and looks pretty slim compared other brands. The control panel is simple to use. Not confusing to operate. Kenmore washers are a good value. The price is a high selling point. There are other washers out there with a lot of bells and whistles but the quality isnt as good as a Kenmore.
I bought a Kenmore Elite Washer, Model 796.4147.2210 in May 2013. It has worked just fine until yesterday when it simply stopped powering on. I hit the power button and nothing happens. None of the buttons will work. If I unplug the machine and wait a couple minutes, it will work -- But, after a while or one load, it will go dead again. After searching the internet, I am guessing this is a problem with the Main Control Board, a $220 part. This is pretty much the most expensive washer Kenmore makes, and it was very highly rated. Bought at Sears and they installed it. So disappointing!
I purchased a Kenmore Washer few months ago which is preforming well so far. So far I am very happy with the washer and the brand. I would suggest others to buy the washer.
This washer has been an excellent addition to our appliances. It hasnt had any problems and washes perfectly. Ive been very pleased with the washer overall. I highly recommend this washer in terms of its reliability. We have owned it for more than five years and so far had no significant problems with it. I am satisfied with the washer in terms of its appearance. It isnt the most flashy, but its on the laundry room so its not really a big deal. Ive felt that this washer has been a good value for us. We have had no issues with the reliability and for us that is the most important thing.
I want consumers to know that this washer is not worth the money. Mine has been an issue after the first two years of ownership. The washer smells awful even when cleaned weekly as recommended. The seal is moldy even though we always leave the door open. The washer is a maintenance nightmare. It does clean my clothes but I usually have to run the load twice because it stops with an F-20 code. I am just looking for a washer that will clean and last 20 years like my last one. Neither Kenmore nor Sears is my first choice anymore.
Purchased Kenmore from Sears Appliance Store 2 years ago. 1 week after the normal warranty ended it stopped working. I had purchased an extended warranty. So they diagnosed and ordered a replacement gear box. A week and half later they came and installed it. It was a remanufactured gear box. Immediately it smelled awful, a horrible industrial grease smell. Within a week it was making a horrible noise. We stopped using it and went out and bought a far superior brand, because I had it with Sears and Kenmore. When the old washer was removed, there was oil all over the floor underneath it. So the remanufactured gear box was total garbage, leaking oil from day one. Poor quality doesnt even begin to describe the washer or the replacement parts. No wonder Sears is looking at selling the Kenmore brand. Its worthless.
Its easy to used, carries an incredible amount of clothes in one load and just gets the job done all around. A definite recommendation. I bought it some time ago, more than a year now and its still going as strong as ever. It shows no sign of breaking down any time soon. Its a simple, discreet looking thing. Im not one for much splash and pizzazz, so its nice to have a plain washer that looks nice without stealing every eye in the room. Definitely not expensive, and well worth the price of purchase. One of the best washers on the market and with a price you cant beat.
The washer is easy to use and has every function you could need. It effectively and efficiently cleans clothes and does the job. It can also fit everything needed and is easy to load. It is reliable and well made so worrying about issues is not necessary. All of the functions are easy to read so you can be sure you are doing what you want, too. Lastly, the washer is a good value. I got what I expected for the price that I paid. I would recommend this washer to others if they needed one.
Its pretty basic if youre just normal level for cash. It gets the job done but could do better than I say sometimes. But its good enough for what I have paid for. It could last for an estimate of 5 years but dont take it from me. It just depends on how good you take care of the washer, since thats what I own. The appearance is pretty good for what I paid for. Better than those old-looking ones back in the day so its not as bad. My mother wasnt a fan but I sure was. Probably didnt care that much since I was young. But I do have standards. I had to get it looked at a few times before but now it runs pretty good.
I purchased a Kenmore 600 topload washer in 12/09. I was satisfied with its performance, but it only lasted 2 years. The springs became weak, and when the spin cycle ended, it banged, and cracked the outer tub. Repairs will cost almost as much as buying a new one. I spent considerable time researching consumer reviews and wanting an American-made product, and spent considerable money thinking the investment would last several years. It is sad that even American-made products are built to last until just after the warranty expires. The repairman didnt think these parts are even covered in the warranty. I cant afford another washer, and when I do, it wont be a Kenmore.
For years I always used Kenmore appliances. Several years ago I needed a new washer and strayed from Kenmore after listening to a friend who had purchased another brand. I listened and purchased that washer and had nothing but trouble with it. I got rid of it and went back to my preferred Kenmore washer. Im still using it.
Elite washing machine 31512 - I have never been upset enough to feel the need to review an appliance before. That being said, I bought this washing machine about 18 months ago for around $1,000 at Sears. Initially I was impressed with the features and the thought of it being efficient, but slowly the washer started to become unbalanced on a regular basis. Then the laundry started to smell sour even after using the cleaning cycle with the proper cleaner. All of this was frustrating but somehow bearable until tonight, when I really needed to get some last minute laundry done and all it will do is display an error code LE. This machine was way too expensive to be so horribly built. I will return to a different brand that has simple electromechanical dials and can properly drain the water so it doesnt make the laundry smell worse than when it went in. I called the Sears helpline and they recommended I sign up for $40 a month protection plan that still required me to pay $60 for them to show up and part costs!? This made no sense and just made me more upset. I will never buy anything from Sears again.
It cleans my clothes amazingly well. It uses less water too. This washer is amazing and I would recommend it to anyone who is in the market for a new washer. My washer is still going strong. No breaks. Ive had no problems with it yet and Im thinking that I will not have any for a long time. I rate this ten out of ten. This washer is beautiful. Sleek in design and wonderful to look at. Wouldnt have it any other way. Perfect and flawless designing. It is definitely worth the price. The price is so cheap compared to what it actually worth. I would pay thrice as much as I did for this washer, 20 times over. Keep it up.
Kenmore top loading high efficiency washer model 110.2810 - We purchased this washing machine from Sears for $750 on 12/2/2012 and did not purchase the extended warranty. It is now less than two years old and I came home the other day to find my basement flooded because the outer drum of the machine cracked. The repair person said he could not believe what he saw with this broken part and he felt this was clearly a manufacturers defect. It will cost $600 to repair my 2 year old washing machine. I called Sears to request that they supply the part for free so that I only needed to pay for the repair itself of $300 and was told I needed to call the manufacturer Kenmore. When I called the phone number that was posted by Kenmore I was told that I needed to contact the manufacturer directly as they could not help me. I told them that I thought I did call the manufacturer and they told me that I called Sears. I told them I got the phone number off of the Kenmore website and they said yes, they post that number but its actually to Sears. What kind of customer service is this? They then transferred me to Whirlpool who manufactures Kenmore. After talking with the rep at Whirlpool, she said they no longer manufacture Kenmore and that I need to call Sears because they sold it to me. This is a terrible way to do business. It would be nice if they would manufacture a reliable product that you do not need to purchase an extended warranty for an amount that costs half the price of the machine itself. They do this apparently because they know they are manufacturing a substandard product. This is an American based company and this is truly an embarrassment for our country to have such poor manufacturing supported by even worse customer service. I would sincerely hope that management takes a better look into how they continue to do business.
I bought this Kenmore 800 series washer in December 2009. I have had repairmen here 3 times. The parts are made in Mexico and they are cheap plastic. Someone needs to do a printout of all these complaints and send them to their congressman to present to Consumer Affairs (Mr. Cordray) in Washington. Its bad enough that most of our manufacturing is outsourced to foreign countries, and it is time that someone starts demanding quality control. These CEOs make millions and it’s time to demand that we, the consumer, get a better quality product.
I was happy with them but I dont think they lasted as long as they should have. Bought new from Sears but bought Maytag. Brand had better reviews and were bigger inside. When you have a family you need the biggest. Also bought front loaders, much better.
I had a white Kenmore washer. I had no problem with actual cleaning and it had all the bells and whistles I needed. However I didnt get my moneys worth. It needed repairs as the water pump started leaking. There are only 2 people in household, not used everyday. It shouldnt have needed repairs after barely 5 years. Kenmore used to last forever, but have been dissatisfied with the last few appliances from them.
Only had the washer for 2 years and already broke... Water is leaking from underneath and a very very loud noise on the spin cycle that it sounds like the old wood roller coaster at Cedar Point... My first and last Kenmore product. Went out and got me a Samsung.
Its easy to operate. I have lots of allergies to detergents and with the HE washer we always use the extra rinse cycle. Perfect for our home space wise and no excuses for dirty laundry with my girls doing their own laundry. Quilts & bulky items Ive always taken to the laundromat or dry cleaners; cant risk messing up the drum. I have a pre-teen and a toddler in my home, so we have a lot of laundry. This washing machine has survived a long life in this household and I use it to do an average of 5 loads per week, in a good week. It can handle baby clothes covered in spit up, a pre-teens laundry load after changing clothes 10 times per day and even the bedding in our house without problems. With simple controls, it doesnt take a college degree to operate which means I can put other people to work on the laundry and they cant give me the excuse that they dont know how to use the washing machine. This washer has worked nicely for my family of five - we can run it all day with no problems. However, any hair, be it pet or human, that is on our clothes tends to stick underneath the inside rim of the washer, and when I swipe a paper towel around the bottom and sides of the washer, I often find more hair.
I purchased this top load Kenmore series 700 washer from Sears less than a year ago. I thought purchasing a washer that saved water was environmentally conscious; however, to my surprise I ended up using more water trying to get laundry clean. Not only does this washer not CLEAN your clothes it is not reliable on a day to day basis. I ended up running clothes thru 2 cycles just to get them clean. Water barely covers clothes even on deep fill setting. It often gets becomes unleveled from drum tying clothes in knots and now its not running at all! This is the epitome of inefficiency. I do not recommend this product to anyone. I am usually very easy to please but Kenmore has tarnished its name with this machine. I gave it a one star rating because that was the lowest available but I would have given it 0 stars had that been an option.
Cleans clothes well and in a short time. Its lasted for some time. I love it. It was a good price and Im glad I purchased it. It has a function for fabric softener and spins great. Although it does not fit my comforter, it fits large loads of clothing and gets them really clean. What a nice-looking washer. Its very clean and white, and shiny. Its modern and fits in my basement. It looks really pretty. I consider this a great purchase and a good value because Ive had it for a while and it works well. It didnt cost much and has a great warranty. It conserves water and uses less detergent.
Kenmore washer model 110 - I purchased this washer on Dec. 11, 2015. Was told this is their most popular washer, can wash a king sized comforter, energy saver. Got it delivered and started using. From the very start it did not clean my husbands jeans and t-shirts. I have always Shouted the stains on his work clothes, washed them in cold water and always came clean, but this washer takes at least 1.5 times as long to wash and they come out just as dirty as they went in!!! I started trying different wash options which only add more time to cycle and still no difference. I called Sears and told them I was dissatisfied with the washer and was told I have had it longer than 30 days, and I wouldnt be able to return. I called service who came to check machine and was told that there was no errors showing. Nothing he can do. I am so mad. Paid a lot of money for a washer that doesnt wash, and I have to send my husband to work with dirty clothes!
Sears Kenmore model 110.28002011. Same problem as the recall that occurred on 12/18/2012. Recall number: 13-073. Same violent shaking. This is the exact same circumstances that occurred during the recall as report in recall #13-073. Washer purchased new in Jan 2013. I will never buy another appliance from Sears, not to buy and will tell friends and family and social media. Sears do not stand behind the product that they are selling... I will never buy another Kenmore not because of the problem but because of the lack of support behind the product. With all the complaints they received, neither Sears nor Kenmore stepped up to resolve this issue.
My washer worked fine before the recall. It took 4 months for the technician to come out and he changed the panel, which I told him worked fine and please save it for me, just in case (we live in a small town). Well sure enough, it hasnt worked properly and keeps giving me an unbalanced load error code. It keeps filling with water and draining, 2.5 hours the first time before I stopped it and put it on Drain and Spin and continually have to monitor it with every wash. Yesterday, I put it on the recommended Clean cycle with just a cup of bleach and it ran 5.5 hours, until 10:30 pm, still with the unbalanced error code, no clothes, etc. until I finally just turned it off. The tech who called and said he would be out last week never showed up or called. I am going to call the national Sears customer service (1-800-549-4505) line again and complain, not much hope for help with this problem though. Is there a class action case?
Kenmore is really a great brand and I trust it. Out of the whole 5 years that Ive had this particular washer Ive never had to repair it, buy parts for it, is still up to its name Kenmore. Just a regular white washer not too many buttons and knobs but very easy to clean and it worked wonderfully. I loved it. It did not tear up my clothes. Ive had a washing that used to heat my clothes up.
Its good services that can provide a good work on all clothes no matter how tough the dirt is on clothes. It always work. Best for me to use around the house. I would not choose another one due to the fact it might not work as well as this washer. It can handle any detergent and it would last for a long time. Its best to use when you have a lot of dirty clothes. It would be a whole lot better to use and then you should be able to upgrade to a newer model.
Easy front loading and has a feature where the door stays open a few inches for odor control. Quiet, uses less water and has a lot of cycles to chose from. Easy to add soap and fabric softener to the reservoir.
I purchased a Kenmore Elite HE3 washer and pedestal in 2004 from Sears. I always dried off the area around the rubber seal, did an occasional bleach wash, hot water wash and sometimes added vinegar to keep the moisture down. I always left the door open after use and I used a maximum of 3 tablespoon of HE detergent. In 2007, I sent a letter to the customer service department explaining that mold had formed inside the rubber door seal and nothing seemed to help. I listed all the things I did and said that I was frustrated that I spent $1,000 and in three years, I was having problems. They responded with a long list of what to do for odor problems, all of which I was doing already. Forward 5 more years and the mold seems to be getting worse despite rubbing down the interior rubber seal with Clorox sheets and drying out the area. I am concerned that I am getting sick from the mold smell. I finally went out and bought a top load washer from a reputable manufacturer. Why should we have to pay such a steep price for a design flaw? Why dont the salespeople warn us about the common mold issue? And why is this happening without repercussions to the company? I would like financial compensation for all of this.
Its a neat idea but the washer simply smelled like mildew from day one. Everything we wash smells awful. We tried all the tricks we read about from online forums to no avail. We do not have any issues with its reliability. It worked very well from this standpoint. The appearance is sleek. We enjoyed the look. It fit with our lifestyle. Buttons are Laid out appropriately in an intuitive spot. We did not find it to be of high value to us. Because of the mildew smell. All of our clothes smelled permanently.
I have this Kenmore 500 Series washing machine. I wash tons of clothes all the time. Ive even switch to washing small loads. My clothes are never clean. They come out, they smell bad, the towels stink all the time because they cant agitate and wash. The water just runs through them and comes back out. It doesnt move the clothes and no theres nothing wrong with my washing machine. Its not broken. It just sucks. Dont buy this product. I think you guys should recall these washing machines.
I only have one complaint - is the front load washer gets a bad smell. I have tried a lot of products but none really help. The water stays in the rubber ring and molds. So the next time I will buy a top load.
It handles large loads really well. I can put a ton of clothes in it without worry. Ive never had an unbalanced load. I like that I can wash many heavy or big blankets in one wash. It super quiet. If I forget to put something in I can throw it in after its already started without worry. The temperature setting are reliable. Its also durable and quiet, no vibration or rattling problems. I get compliments on its appearance all the time. I love the see through top. You can actually see your clothes being washed. Its really easy to keep clean and the settings and handles are easy to read. Its expensive but worth every penny. The warranty is a great stress reliever... even though Ive never had to use it. Ive had it for 2 years and it looks and works just like I bought yesterday. Its worth the money.
Ive had my Kenmore washing and drying machine for more than 9 years and has worked wonders. Washes and dries my clothes very well. Leaves a clean scent. Nothing has broken down yet. Makes no noise, quite silent when in use. Very content with both.
