It works incredibly well and is very easy to clean. It holds a decent amount of stuff. The freezer is slightly smaller than I would like but is sufficient for my small family. It hold most of the things I need but I did have to remove one of the shelves to make the spaces the right size to hold a gallon of milk. The door shelves are decent. It is clean and doesnt take up too much space but would look a lot better in stainless steel or possibly in black. The white attracts dirt and grime a little more than I would like. For the size and space the price was very reasonable but you definitely get what you pay for. The lines of it are not super clean and the style is a little outdated but its not the worst I have ever seen or used.

We bought our Kenmore refrigerator about 10 years ago and it has been very dependable. It has always provided the service that we hoped it would so I would definitely recommend it to other members of my family and friends.

Its a pretty decent appliance. I think Ive only used Kenmore refrigerators. They work. The compartments are a decent size. The gap on the side doors are a little wide and condiments sometimes slip out. Its a pretty good size. I wouldnt buy another pullout freezer though. A side by side is probably my next purchase. It doesnt take that much room considering its a refrigerator. Its a simple clean look, which is what one would want. The inside is just as simple and clean. I like the handles specifically, how they run along the whole door but it doesnt look out of place. Very sleek design.

Do NOT buy this refrigerator! I purchased the Kenmore Elite Bottom Freezer Refrigerator (Model 79574043410) in April 2015 from Sears. In the first month the fan quit working. Had that repaired. It is now 27 months later and the compressor has quit. Dead. This happened on a Thursday and a repair person could not be scheduled to come out until Tuesday. They do NOT work weekends! Fortunately I kept calling until they agreed to come on Monday. As I suspected and reported to them it was indeed the compressor. As stated by the service technician they have been having quite a few compressors on these go out. The compressor would have to be ordered and supposedly would be in by Wednesday but they cannot schedule a repair appointment in advance until they actually have the part. It is now Thursday, a week from my initial request for repair and there is no compressor in sight. Hence no repair in sight as yet either. Luckily I purchased the extended warranty but in hindsight I am now stuck with this worthless appliance until 2020. I had to pay extra for counter depth when purchasing it and to now have a 2 yr old refrigerator with a dead compressor is despicable. By the way the max food loss allowance is $250.00 for a claim. I will never again buy another Kenmore product nor from a company that cannot reasonably get the parts and fix it in a timely manner!

It was okay. However I have had better. The customer service was subpar. I called once and I was on the line for two hours. The refrigerator itself only broke down once. But it was very difficult to get itself since the customer service was not the best.

No problem at all after years of working great. The one problem is the shelves have broke (one 2 glass shelves). It is very easy to clean both the inside and out. I wish that it was a little bigger in the inside. But other than that I can say I am happy with the purchase of the Kenmore. I love the outside. It does not show fingerprints at all, and always looks great and clean. That is all I have to say about the Kenmore. I think it is a great value for the Kenmore, and it is very friendly for your electrical power bill. We purchased it because it is something that runs all the time.

I love my Kenmore refrigerator. The food stays fresher longer and the freezer is the best part - anyone who has kids or grandkids and loves to make jello or freezer pops this is a must have. I love it. My freezer room is amazing you can fit about anything in it. I love to freeze green beans in the summer to eat in the winter. My freezer has enough room for me to do that. I love the way it looks. It could fit perfect into any space and has lots of room for pictures on the front and the handles are easy to open and easy to close for me and my grandkids. I have severe arthritis and I have no problem opening and closing it. I think you actually get more bang for your buck with this amazing fridge and freezer and the room is amazing and you have an easy clean freezer and refrigerator. How many women want that? I do and the room I love it.

My size is small due to the size of my kitchen but would love to have a larger model to hold more food and have a bigger freezer for meats and vegetables. Works good. Ive used this brand for years and only had a few problems. I would recommend to everyone. My daughter also purchased a Kenmore Elite fridge. Size was perfect to fit under an overhang. Couldnt ask for a better fit really. My daughters fridge fits in her house great to just the right height. I love the clean appearance of the brand. It goes with my kitchen and my daughter fridge is a good look to her kitchen. I will buy this brand in the near future and my son bought, too. The price of this fridge was great. I continue to buy this brand and refer to others as much as possible and my daughter shares with her friends.

Very good performance - no issues throughout my usage. Refrigerator (and all other appliances) were left when I sold the house. I would definitely recommend this refrigerator and the Kenmore brand to any/all who asked. I believe it is a good product and a brand that inspires brand loyalty. The refrigerator was purchased with my home (I did not purchase it separately). The refrigerator was clean and well kept - and remained in this condition throughout my ownership. I did not have any mechanical or material issues with the refrigerator throughout my possession - I sold my home and the refrigerator.

The refrigerator worked wonderfully, and lasted for years. It wasnt a top of the line model, but it had all the basic features we needed. Maintenance was low. We basically replaced the filters as required, and that was it.

The reason my husband and I chose this refrigerator in particular was its size. It was perfect for our location. It was also the color and features we wanted and needed. The built-in ice maker was great, it kept up well for my family of six people.

Er FF keeps showing up because the compressor cannot work. The fridge freezes on the inside. We have to wait until it dethaws along with all of our food to plug it back in.

We had Kenmore refrigerators when I was a child and I still like the brand. I wanted to continue to purchase Kenmore refrigerators since I knew from experience that they were good and reliable for my family. I am very glad that I purchased this refrigerator. I really liked the ice maker and water dispensary features that were offered on this model. But, I disliked the lack of space there was inside of the freezer. With a growing family, space needed for storing breast milk for my newborn, and doing meal prep, I need more space to store meals and other items. The freezer was large however not large enough for what my family needed.

The machine is awesome. Its a 2 compartment with an ice maker. The crisper keep things like lettuce and other vegetables cold but doesnt ruin them too fast. The ice in the ice maker can get stuck together if you dont keep it emptied but that is the only real complaint. Its the right size, it fits where my old one was perfectly. The freezer keeps a lot of stuff in it and the space in the refrigerator is second to none. Overall probably more space than I need or am used to, but I love it. It is also tall enough to where I can keep some things out of reach of small children. Appearance is great, its simple design and the interior is really spacious. I love the design of the drawers and the crispers. The door is also nice, I can store a lot of stuff in it. Great value. You wont find another fridge on the market that does what this one does at the price it is offered. Would definitely recommend.

My refrigerator has been amazing. I love how it keeps working for year and years to come. Never had a problem with it besides a glass but they replaced it!! Its great for a smaller family but with a growing family we need something larger. The structure is great and I would only add a ice maker. The appearance is also great and fits simple decor. It doesnt look cheap and something worth the money. Its simple and modern and wont cost you a ton of money if you arent looking to spend. You get more than what you pay for which is always good.

I bought Sears Kenmore Elite refrigerator 795.77563600 in 10/2006. It has always had problems with the ice maker, but Ive learned to live with it. Today, however, I opened the fridge at lunch time and noticed the smell of burning plastic. The lights had stayed on and melted the plastic light cover. The plastic was dripping down onto food! I tested the door switches to confirm that the doors werent simply left ajar: 1) Open doors: Fridge beeps and lights on; 2) Open doors + press switch: Fridge stops beeping and lights on; 3) Close doors: Fridge stops beeping (and presumably lights still on). I am happy I caught this during the day! I shudder to think what would have happened if this occurred at night. Kenmore/LG should recall these fridges before they cause a house fire!

The Kenmore refrigerator that I purchased two years ago made me happy to own because of the technology provided that significantly made my previous refrigerator look outdated. It seems as if the new Kenmore was a top of the line model that keep food at a reasonable temperature and provided more space for food.

I compared other styles of fridges before purchasing this one and the price was very good for the wonderful performance I receive from this product. The Fridge works very well and is quiet. Keeps the food cold in the fridge and the freezer keeps the food solid. This size fridge is also great for a family of two. It fits nice in the area that a fridge needs to fit and holds two to three weeks of grocery for my family. The color of the fridge goes well with all my other kitchen appliances too. The French doors are very easy to clean and does not show any fingerprints. Overall, a great quality appliance.

Its a good fridge. Ive had it for about a year and a half to maybe 2 years now and its always been great at keeping all of my food cool and fresh all the time. It was recommended through a friend and at this point I dont think I could ever buy another brand of refrigerator. Its just the best.

It works great. It keeps my food really cold and the freezer freezes really well. I love the ice maker and the water parts as well. The filter lasts really long. I have moved it twice and had no problems. Like I previously stated the refrigerator part is a good size. I just wish the freezer was a bit bigger. It is very shiny and matches my other stainless steel appliances and very easy to clean. I would have to say it stands out among my other appliances. I like the inside as well. Very little maintenance, nice styling, easy to change filter, water and ice was always nice tasting and free of refrigerator odors, fit the style and decor of the kitchen and other appliances nicely. Size was great at first, eventually we got a bigger one as the family grew. Storage area was a lot bigger than it looked and we could fit quite a few items in the fridge and freezer. Nice organization too. Fit the style of the kitchen nicely. The ice and water dispenser were stylish and looked good with the other appliances. The inside was nicely organized and it was nice to have clear shelves. Very happy with the value of Kenmore products. We got a newer, bigger model but stuck with Kenmore. We have a lot of other appliances that are Kenmore and we are very happy with those as well.

This refrigerator always kept my food cool and fresh. I always like how my freezer was cold but not too cold where it will over freeze any of my food items. The refrigerator was very spacious. I could pile all types of food in there and so many different beverages on the top shelf, without thinking that the shelf will fall. First of all, the color of it is white and it has one long handle connected to the freezer and another long one on the fridge. The light bulb is really bright and is on the top of the fridge. There are three white racks with several lines on it in the fridge. On the top right hand side there is a button to control the fridges coolness. In the freezer there is one rack with lines to dividing the freezer to have two sections. I think the value of the fridge was good it seems like. It is an affordable price and your refrigerator will last for years. You wont have to worry about any of the shelves breaking easily. They seem quite sturdy.

Its a little loud at times, like making ice, but overall, is quiet. It has also lasted us a really long time. It makes food last longer, and we have had this fridge for years. Really worth the money. It can fit a lot of things in there. Kinda wished the freezer was a bit bigger, but both sides are pretty much perfect. It also is the right size because our family is short, and we can still reach everything for the most part. It is very elegant, and we can stick things on there. It is also very easy to clean and maintain. Dust doesnt even really stick to it. I would buy from this brand again. It was kinda expensive, but it is well worth the money. It was last, really easy to maintain, can store a lot of food, and keeps food lasting longer. You pay more for great quality.

My Kenmore fridge was great, lasted 19 years until it got hit with a power surge. My only complaint was the service dept. couldnt figure out the problem two summers in a row when ice formed around the door mounted ice and water dispenser. After two different repairmen came out and couldnt figure out the problem, my Dad happened to visit and as I was showing him the problem he simply popped the gasket surrounding those areas back into place and I never had any other problems with it.

Overall, we have been quite satisfied with the refrigerator/freezer.

I have had several Kenmore refrigerators and have always been more than satisfied with the quality of the brand. They always have fair prices compared to the current market. I would not hesitate to recommend Kenmore as a high quality brand. We have only had to service one of three Kenmore refrigerators that we have owned.

Very good performance. You know what you would usually expect from one of these bad boys so overall I am pretty pleased with the product with the exception of a few minor flaws. The overall size was good. I love the design and everything about it. Plenty of space for all my stuff. For my needs it was perfect and I couldnt ask for any better. The appearance was perfect. It was a very one of a kind type of refrigerator and it will always have a special place in my heart and it was one of the best I have owned. And then the value was definitely worth it. Its black design makes it look amazing and gracious. It goes with all my pots and pans and any knick knacks I have to match. It also goes with or tiling in the kitchen and the handles on the door are nice and sturdy. Also, its very spacious in both the top and the bottom of the fridge. You have the freedom to do the shelves at any level of spacing and it still fits a lot of food and drinks. The crisper drawers keep the veggies at a perfect temp and ice maker works great. I would recommend any fridge done by Kenmore. Even growing up I lived on these refrigerators and I dont remember them falling at any level or beating any other competitors.

It is a good refrigerator. It gives me satisfaction. I can put a lot of food and it handles more things inside. The juice I put it will then get cold, the butter is not melting. It is an awesome refrigerator. It Is good enough to put all the stuff that need to be refrigerated. It generates coldness really fast, the food I put remains fresh and I can store it even longer. I like the way it looks like. It is huge and big, much more space inside, very clean and it is stable, very reliable refrigerator. It is a stand alone refrigerator. It is a bit expensive but to have a better and nice refrigerator I rather spend more so I can enjoy the thing I have, and to ensure that I can put more food and stuff in it.

Kenmore 596 fridge now close to five years old. Within year one, ice maker broke (repaired twice and then replaced). Year two, water leaking on the floor caused by automatic defrost clogged drain plug. Replaced drain plug, defrosted ice dam and fixed ice maker - Sears repair bill = $225. Ice maker stopped working two weeks later. Year 4 - compressor dies. Sears repairman here 3 times over 3 weeks - freon leak - unrepairable. Repairman had to request approval for new fridge. We need to wait 36 hours for answer. 20 days without fridge. Unacceptable.

I really love my refrigerator from Kenmore because of their selection and pricing. Also Ive never had any problems with it and I like the styles of the refrigerators come in the colors and styles are convenient and the compartments the way they are built are great.

Bought Kenmore Elite French door model # 74093 in Dec 2014 for new house. In May 2015 it started making a fan noise, so I called for service under our Sears protection plan. 6 weeks, 3 parts, 5 service calls, and a dead refrigerator. I called Sears Service and demanded a replacement. This is when it really got crazy. They told me that the Sears Appliance Center was not really Sears and I had to deal with them directly because their policies might be different than the real Sears. SERIOUSLY?? Yep, I was told that the Sears Warranty staff that I was dealing with couldnt help me, and I had to go back to the Sears Appliance Center I bought the (now dead) refrigerator from; it is a franchise store. I bought Kenmore because I assumed the Sears name was my guarantee of satisfaction. I should have been informed about this distinction, because I could have gone to a real Sears store instead. SEARS on the storefront, employees wear Sears shirts, Sears receipt, Sears warranty and service agreement... but not really Sears.

Crisper keeps veggies crisp, milk dont freeze, items on door stay colder, freezer has more than enough room for what i need it for and it is easy to keep clean. I can store more food and left overs in me refrigerator than most other people I know without it getting so cluttered I cant find anything. It match what I wanted instead of me matching its color. It is silent running and really easy to keep clean and it fit the space I had to put it in. It was not the highest priced one out there but has features that gave it a higher value. The finish alone was worth it to me. Overall nicely priced.

Kenmore was the cheapest when comparing it to other brands that had the same features. Kenmore is a trusted brand and this fridge was on sale. I was more concerned with the price and the value than what specific features it has. I like the features and the space in this refrigerator. There is plenty of space especially in the freezer which is great for my needs. But I wish it had sturdier shelving units and maybe it coming in different colors.

I purchased a Kenmore Elite Refrigerator Model Number 795.5107. Weve had the refrigerator replaced 3 times, and each time, we have the same indentations on the freezer side door panel. The refrigerator is stainless steel. The first time we had it delivered, we thought the delivery crew had damaged it. Upon receiving the second refrigerator, we saw the same indentations on the door panel. Third time is not a charm. We still have the same refrigerator. Sears has only offered to send me another one. Ive asked that they inform the manufacturer that they are producing damaged panels and they have yet to remedy the problem. I paid good money for a damaged refrigerator.

Even temp no problems! No freeze spots in fridge part. Have never had an issue with this fridge. The freezer works well. It freezes item quickly. The fridge is a good size for a small family. We have four adults in our household and the size fits all of our needs. The freezer also makes good use of space. It is a basic looking fridge! It blends in well with other appliances that we have. It is easy to wipe down and keep clean. Unlike stainless you dont have to worry about fingerprints. We shopped around and found the value of this model to be great. You are getting a great brand at a price that should fit any budget. The energy saver cert makes it a good value to use.

Im satisfied with my refrigerator. It stores a lot and is easy to clean and move shelves around. I havent had any problems with it yet. The filter was tricky for me to change because its all the way in the back so it was hard for me to access.

I have a bottom freezer with an ice maker. I absolutely love it. The ice maker doesnt make huge ice and with the fact I love chewing ice, it makes it perfect. Plus I was able to connect it to my water purifier so I never get hard water in my ice even though we have well water. Another thing I love is the double door refrigerator. It makes it so easy to organize and clean. The only real problem I have found is defrosting the freezer. When you do, it is such a mess.

I love my Kenmore Fridge. I still use it as an extra fridge in my basement since we bought a new one, but has worked very well since we bought it. Never had any problems with it and is easy to keep and maintain.

Kenmore is a good brand name. It was very easy to purchase and its a big fridge. It was all clean and brand new, too. I like the top and bottom freezer parts and the look if it. It looks more modern. Its in the color that I wanted. I wished it wouldve came in black or stainless steel but white is good for me. I feel like the fridge keeps everything at the right temperature. It also has a lot of room in freezer. Lots of storage space for sauces and veggies. However, I would make the freezer part a little bigger. There is not much room to make ice. I feel like it may leak a little as well. I hope it works for the next 10 years because the fridge was expensive.

I have had a freezer made by Kenmore that we have had for years because we have a large family and we need the space for the extra food so we wouldn’t have to go to the store as often. It’s large enough to store enough to feed our family of 6 for a month with our refrigerator as backup and with the drawers and adjustable shelves (which considering this model was made over 20 years old) was a big deal. We recently moved from Virginia to Ohio and my grandma and myself insisted on bringing it because we haven’t had a problem with it since the day they bought it. When we got out to new house we found that we had a new Kenmore refrigerator and it is amazing. It’s a new model and we love it as well.

I have had my Kenmore refrigerator for about 5 years and am extremely happy with it. I have not had any major issues with it since we bought it and it is still going strong. I like the style of my refrigerator and the way it is laid out. The storage areas is really nice but would be nice to have at least one drawer in the freezer part to put frozen vegetables. I will say that the ice maker does not work anymore but we have just got the ice out from the inside. It stopped working about 2 years ago.

Great fridge, we have had this for 12 years and still running great and pleased with the years it served us. When this goes I will not purchase another side by side. Not happy with room in freezer. But otherwise everything good.

Purchased a Kenmore fridge 2 years ago. Now compressor went up. Waiting for tech to fix it. I will never buy Kenmore again.... I paid less for other refrigerators models and lasted longer than this junk... Not to mention food went bad ugh!!!! There should be a class action lawsuit against this Kenmore product.

Runs well and keeps thing cool even if I lose electric. Like the adjustable drawers and shelves in both fridge and freezer. Door shelves seem especially spacious. I can fit all my items into the fridge and freezer and adjust shelves as needed to make odd shaped items fit. The produce bins are excellently sized as well. I love the stainless steel look and material. Easy to clean and hide any fingerprints. Doesnt seem to stain when I drop something on it. I cant say much about the price because it was in the house when I bought it but I would pay a decent price to buy the same one if the occasion ever required it.

This is a follow-up to an earlier description of our problem with a Kenmore Elite bottom freezer refrigerator, purchased at a local Sears store in 2008. The prefix of 795 in the model number indicates, according to my extensive research, that LG manufactures this refrigerator. I just received notification, written in extremely poor English, that LG flatly denies manufacturing this refrigerator. They pass the buck to Kenmore. Since experiencing our problem starting last weekend, I have seen numerous references to this problem of the light staying on in the refrigerator section - getting so hot that it fries the surrounding area. I dont care about the food we lost, but I do get angry at the loss of a newly purchased bottle of $200 insulin (which was on the top shelf near the lights that were intensely hot) which I paid cash for because its not covered by insurance.I received no notification of any problem with this refrigerator at any time in the past 6 years. I spent numerous hours on the phone today, talking to people who cant speak clear English, being switched from department to department, being hung up on, being referred back to all the numbers I had called previously. With no repair persons/companies in our area (or within 100 miles) to service LG/Kenmore appliances, we have no options but to junk this incredibly expensive refrigerator. I can guarantee that I will never, never, never buy anything from Sears again or any LG product. I will run in the other direction. The customer service for Sears and LG is absolutely horrid. They should both be forced out of business.

I love the fridge. I switched from Frigidaire. It keep food fresh longer... Ice tray overflows quickly. I have to remember to cut it off occasionally. Great size. Enough space on both side. Love the number of drawers... enough shelves. Good door space for condiments. Easy to open. It has a nice sleek appearance. I love the chrome color. The handles arent bulky. Its a perfect height and size for my kitchen and the space allowed for a fridge. It was purchased in a bundle deal with other appliances. The price was right about where it should be for the fridge. I havent had any problems with it that cost me more money so I would have to say its a good value.

I too spent my hard earned dollars to purchase a Kenmore bottom mount refrigerator. Within two years of purchase it began leaking water onto my kitchen floor. Not only is this problematic in terms of actually having cold storage for our food but a hazard. Having been unaware of the problem, I took a major dive on the kitchen floor when I slid in the puddle of water. One more reason to BEWARE of purchasing from Sears. Seems like Sears will not change their irresponsible practices until a law suit forces them to do so.

My refrigerator is working very well and have had no problems. My food stay cold all through out the year. There is plenty of room for all of my foods. I cant recall the exact size but I am very pleased with my appliance. I have never ran out of space to put my groceries. Its a nice sleek appearance and the appliance is very sturdy and will not tip over. There is enough shelf space to put my eggs, meat, milk, butter eggs, etc. At the time of my purchase my appliance cost $500 and I am very pleased with the whole deal. I think the appliance is well worth the money.

The freezer worked very good, and so did the refrigerator, its been running for years. Id certainly buy another one. I could fit quite a bit, had lots of room, was well designed, and the performance is excellent. The size of the refrigerator was perfect for my family. It worked very well at holiday times when we had an awful lot of leftovers, I would like to say how satisfied I am with this refrigerator, its been working great for years. I love the style of the refrigerator, it was easy to match with all my decor. I certainly loved the color and design. I would recommend others to buy this refrigerator, my whole family is happy with it. The value was perfect, for what I paid for it, I certainly got my moneys worth. Water and ice dispenser works great and is energy efficient. I would definitely suggest this refrigerator to anybody. I have been very pleased with it since day one. I love this unit but I do wish that it was a little bit bigger. It has plenty of space but when you have kids more is better. All in all the size is very suitable for my needs. I love the look of this unit but I do have trouble keeping it clean and clearing fingerprints due to it being stainless steel. This can be a job when you have children though. The cost of this unit is extremely low when thinking about performance and functionality. I have had many refrigerator and I have always had issues with all of them except this one.

We have loved our fridge/freezer. Makes ice quickly and crushes nicely. We have little ones and having the lock button on the water and ice dispenser is a nice feature. There is plenty of space for everything. Would recommend. The size is very nice. We are able to fit an entire pizza box inside the fridge which is really nice. The drawers hold a lot and the storage in the door adds a lot of extra space. The appearance of the fridge is beautiful. Doesnt smudge too easily. It has a sleek design and goes with any decor. The handles are perfectly placed and look great! The fridge is a great value for the money. We did a bit of shopping around and researching before making our decision. This fridge was a great buy.

Its easy to maintain and use. Love how it keeps cool enough for my stuff. Its big enough on the inside to hold everything and has a lot of simple features. Its about 300 sq ft wide. Big enough for my family and the main things we need in it. I like the size of it including the freezer part. My fridge is white all over and on the inside it has 3 main shelves and two drawers in the bottom. And shelves on the door with enough space to hold things. I think what I paid for my fridge was a good value and its living up to what I paid for it in the first place. I wouldnt recommend another kind to anyone.

The refrigerator was large enough to hold my food and had compartments to organize fruits and dressings. The freezer was large as well. The size was large enough to fit large food items and small items were compartmentalized in the refrigerator. The set up for the refrigerator was helpful. The refrigerator was sleek looking and blended in well with the rest of my kitchen appliances. I liked the leaner design and it was not clunky in my kitchen. I believe it was pricey but I bought it a while ago. I have had less expensive refrigerators but they did not last as long as this refrigerator.

DO NOT BUY KENMORE ELITE REFRIGERATORS. One month after the warranty expired, the ice maker went out. After all the phone calls, finds out there was a recall. We did not receive any notice. We are halfway through the three-week period of waiting for the repair man, now the freezer stopped working. All the food in this piece of ** freezer is in the damn trash. I read a review on the ice was not keeping up with the demands. SHOULD HAVE LISTENED. As you can tell we are very disappointed in this big piece of **. If they have the balls to place this review on their website, listen to it. PS: I would recommend this junk to Obama.

I bought a Kenmore Elite refrigerator in 2015. By 2018, it was no longer cooling properly. The product was still under warranty, so I called Sears to schedule a repair. The earliest they could send a technician out was 8 weeks. It was summer, and I have 3 little kids to feed, so after a week of living out of a spare mini fridge in my garage, I called several other repairmen. No one would touch it. They all said that Kenmore is really made by LG and they are known to have major issues. One tech said he doesnt work on LGs because its not worth my time - it will break again and I will have to be out here every few months. Sure enough, when Sears finally did get to fix it (replaced the compressor) it broke down the following year. A different tech boosted the Freon in the line and said these refrigerators are known to have leaks in the line. As I write this, my fridge is not working again and I am dreading my call to Sears - their customer service is terrible. My 5 year old refrigerator is worthless. Long story short: I used to trust Kenmore products. Never again. Do not buy!

It was good. Food was cold. It did not make loud noise. I was happy until stop working one day. The color matched everything else in my kitchen. Ice machine was not too loud and ice was perfect every time. It was a bit bigger than my old one but it fit well in my small kitchen. Inside it was great for everything I had. I shop every 3 weeks so I buy a lot for a family of 5. It was a nice color and it matched everything else in my kitchen. I would like it better a bit darker so it did not look dirty so quick. It was a bit pricey like all the other ones but I was happy to pay the price because it was good quality. I should it look for a coupon or a discount but I need it the fridge.

Never had any problems with my Kenmore refrigerator. We lived and owned the house. It was in for ten years. It was sold with the home in 2001. I would certainly own another Kenmore if the situation became part of any decision we would have to make.

My fridge has had icicles forming on the inside of the freezer door and freezer frame. It is caused from the factory not making it airtight. They will not replace these fridges. They will only send a repair man to fix everything by using silicone all around the whole thing. It is apparent all these models 970R424123 Serial number BA54922901 Model type AD-18 were made with the same problem. Very dissatisfied with fridge and service. All people should be posting their dissatisfaction with this product which is owned by Electrolux!!!

Satisfied and very happy with the overall purchase. It has meet my initial expectations by being reliable compared to my last one which had a very short life span and we had to replace it with the Kenmore brand which is doing much better. It is very efficient and works in a way I really like and the price of the refrigerator I had paid for it was a good price as well. The size was the biggest issue for me. I would just make the fridge larger so that I can put more food and store more items in it and have some extra space for other things that I would need to add to it.

With my Kenmore I enjoy the space provided for storing enough food for myself for a month or even a month and a half, but it also ensures my food is kept perfectly chilled or the freezer part ensures that my meats and frozen foods stay cold and frozen. Within minutes of putting a food item into the fridge or freezer and the Kenmore appliance cools the item easily. I would recommend this appliance brand because the one I have also has been with me for a very long time and still looks to be with me for years to come.

Kept the food at the right temperature and make it easy to place food item in the right places. The ice maker was the reason I purchased the refrigerators. The refrigerators size was large enough to for the space that it was in. Large that accommodated all the item I need weekly. The refrigerators appearance was clean and chrome so it was easy to keep it clean on the outside. The price was what I was looking for and the price I was willing to pay for and could pay off in less the two years. Would buy the same item again.

I bought a Kenmore elite refrigerator in Oct of 2015. With master plan warranty. Fridge quit working in sept 2016 not even a year old!!! Told to defrost it completely. Lost all my food about 500 dollars of food loss (I shop bulk), sent receipt of food, just bought 5 days; prior to fridge going out they sent me 200 dollars. Then again fridge went out 1 month later; lost food again. They refused to cover food loss again. Now 2 months with no fridge they expect you to be ok with nothing offer that you can try to find a rental. No rentals available at our local Sears... master warranty, no fridge, living out of an ice chest, missed thanksgiving, now its almost x-mas. Finally they deemed it unrepairable. Theyre not even replacing my fridge. They are crediting my account at half the cost of same refrigerator... they claim its not their fault. Prices have gone up since I purchased my fridge and theres depreciation. I BOUGHT MASTER PLAN supposedly the best, and full guarantee... (obviously someone is lying); SEARS. Are rip offs, so to get the same fridge I have to pay almost a 2000 dollar difference. NEVER. BUY. FROM SEARS - THEY WILL SCREW YOU. Theyre dirty liars. All I have heard is, Sorry for your inconvenience. 2 months no fridge. (family of 5) Their repair people order wrong parts, 2-week waiting period to get next tech out. 1-hour phone calls every time. Just to talk to someone to try to get help. Supposedlybought top fridge out there. So dont buy a Kenmore elite or ever buy from Sears. Many many years ago they used to be good - Not anymore. Theyre dirty liars. If it was easy believe me. I would love to sue them for what I and my family have been through. No one should ever be treated like this. Dirty dirty dirty liars. If all stop going there their business will go bankrupt which would be a blessing and their karma for doing such wrong to people - horrible experience. More than once. Performance is great. Temperature buttons work properly and have never broke. Temp always maintains the correct place you set it at. Overall performance level to me is essential and Ive had no problems. Size is essential to me. I would love a bigger fridge but my living space wont allow me to have so the size I went with proved to be spacious enough with perfect shelf space and space to stack. I absolutely love it. The appearance of the fridge you believe is top notch. I think the color makes it set itself above others and makes it look more rusty and beautiful and stands out. Go get one. Value is everything. Its perfect – value, look, appearance, longevity, price, space. Its all what you want and exactly what you always wanted in a fridge.

It hasnt given us any real problems over its lifespan other than it makes a very loud thumping sound when shutting off. It still runs perfectly though. It is definitely big enough for a regular sized family of 3 or 4 people. The only time there isnt enough room is when we are hosting a gathering. It has a very basic appearance and is white in color. I wouldnt say theres anything special about the appearance but that isnt why we bought this model. It is more of a bargain refrigerator so I think its a great value. I want to say it was around $1000? No repair bills of any kind so we cant complain.

We bought our Kenmore Elite Model #795 72052 112 on Feb 23, 2013 and guess when our fridge develops a problem -- of course, one month exactly after the warranty expires. Apparently, we have the same problem as several others - the ice maker fan is not working and we get the ER F1 on the display panel. It melted the ice and it dripped on our laminate flooring creating more problems.

Feeling super aggravated at the moment. Bought a Kenmore Elite refrigerator from Sears last year. Now not even a year later the bottom freezer has stopped working completely. Ive called for service and it took a month for someone to come out. Then parts had to be ordered. Another month for that wait. The man who came out to put the new part in had no clue what he was doing. When he left he said give it 24hours and it should be working. Nope nothing. So I called in yet another service appointment which was a month away and was set for today. Three oclock rolls around no call. I finally call them and get a live person. Guess what. The guy called in sick and no one bothered to call and yup you guessed it they want to change the service date to August 23 another month. I live in Mississippi and the heat index is currently 108. No joke. I depend on the ice. My freezer once made for my 2 huge bloodhounds and other animals to stay cool. Ive talked to some nice people at Sears today and some not so nice people but at the end of the day Im still left unsatisfied and completely shocked. Sears you disappointed me once with a window AC unit that took 3 months to get replaced in the hottest part of summer. I swore then that Id never be duped again. I decided to give you one more shot and am still left with long irritated calls and no resolution. So to other consumers please just go with another company if you want fast reliable service or appliances that work...

Bought a Kenmore Refrigerator model number 795.7130 (March 8, 2013) a double door refrigerator with a bottom freezer. Within the first couple months a part broke off on one of the doors. The tech said this was a common repair. OK! A couple weeks ago the refrigerator started making noise which would stop after a while and then start up again. Sunday before Thanksgiving the refrigerator stopped working, would not made ice but the freezer was still keeping the food cold. The soonest they could come out would be Friday the day after Thanksgiving. The tech never showed up Friday. After 2 phone calls was told they would send someone Saturday. It was determined that there was an ice buildup behind the back panel in the freezer which was blocking the fan. When he took off the panel there was a huge ice buildup. He suggested around every 9 months we empty the refrigerator and freezer, unplug the unit so any ice buildup can drain. He was very, very polite and professional. Should I have to buy an emergency refrigerator?Called my cousin in Virginia and was told the Sears is quite aware of these problems, that the problem is where they outsource the refrigerators parts who install inferior material. Spent another $251 for an extended warranty that is only for a year, I didnt get the extended warranty when I purchased the refrigerator because I had faith in Sears products. Your warranty only covers up to $500 and if your refrigerator cant be fixed, Sears will give you $500 towards a new one. I will not buy anything at Sears ever again. If you really want to buy a top quality product buy a Dyson vacuum. They give a 5 year warranty. They have faith in their product.

Let me start by stating what is good about this refrigerator. It has not killed anyone. Here is the not so good: 1. Year one face of deli draw pull off. We are average family of four. Not abusive in any way and the fronts of the drawers began to fall off. I installed stainless screws and nuts to hold them on after year one. 2. On year three the water line burst. Did not find this until I found a puddle of water in the basement. Ruined the new flooring, thankfully it is not noticeable unlesss you pull the fridge out. 3. Also year three it began freezing off and on in the refrigerator. 4. Next the water line began to freeze up, now not making ice. The temperature setting is on 45F. 5. Now the stop on the fridge door broke. The door now slams into my hand made kitchen cabinets if youre not careful.6. Today the bottom door shelf cracked and fell off from the freezer.A man can only take so much, off to buy a new freezer before the water line breaks again.

My Kenmore refrigerator has been running strong for 20 years! We have never needed a single repair. It doesnt even look outdated. No one would know its 20 years old and has been in 3 homes as we have moved.

It kept the stuff inside at cold temperature and kept it from spoiling quickly. It was easy to put in place. It was very easy to clean. It was able to keep a few gallons of fluids inside with good space left over for other things. There are a good amount of compartments to keep things organized. It is roomy and easy to move things around. The refrigerator looks nice and sleek. It fits in with just about any kitchen style without being underwhelming or over the top. It does not stain easily. The refrigerator is great for the price. It is very durable. It doesnt use up too much electricity while keeping everything in it cold.

I have had my refrigerator for about 15 years now. It is a very good refrigerator and has lasted this long. I will have to replace it soon because it is wearing out. I have never got it fixed since I had it. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants something that will last a long time.

Ice cubes arent great but everything else is great. I have plenty of room for everything. I like the feature to choose the shape of ice you want but the crushed isnt too crushed and the other cubes are not big enough. The size is perfect size for a family of 5 and a grocery shopping trip for a months worth of groceries. Side shelves, big drawers. Freezer also has plenty of shelving space on the side and upright. The stainless steel look really is lovely. It has a very sophisticated appearance and contemporary modern for todays trends. It gives off a chic type of vibe and is very noticeable. The pricing is just where it should be for this type of appliance. Not too cheap but also not very expensive. Its very affordable for anyone shopping for a refrigerator.

We loved this appliance. We used it for a few years until we sold our house and let the refrig stay. We never had any problems with it and it ran without any issues. Our refrig was about 26 cu ft, I believe. We are a family of 4 with 5 dogs and we needed a lot of space to store lunches and leftovers in. The appearance was very classic looking, nothing too fancy but it was plenty for what we needed it for. It fit into our kitchen like a charm. Had plenty of storage space for lunch meats, fruits and vegetables. This is a very good value. You are getting your moneys worth when you buy a Kenmore appliance. They run forever and never have any problems and if you do, the service dept is there to fix it for you in a flash.

My Kenmore refrigerator was extremely dependable. I had it for over ten years and only had to replace the thermostat once and I did that myself in a short amount of time. It operated smoothly with no other problems. Easy to clean with mild soap. Adjustable shelves made it easy to adjust for taller items. Crispers kept fresh foods from getting too cold. Overall this was probably the best refrigerator I ever owned.

We purchased a brand-new Kenmore refrigerator on Aug. 16, 2017. The refrigerator section failed in April of 2018. The “JAZZ” motherboard and damper module were replaced under warranty. Two years later, April 2020, the refrigerator is dead again. Verified via built-in diagnostic tests that the compressor and fan were functional when commanded. Chose to replace the JAZZ board myself, but that didn’t solve the problem. It is likely the thermistor is bad, but due to the stupid design, I’m forced to buy a complete wiring harness as the thermistor is assembled as part of the harness and cannot be purchased separately. Pure foreign-made junk. Buy American-Made! Don’t buy Whirlpool/Kenmore, lest you enjoy throwing out $100 in food every two years in addition to shelling out $300 in parts every two years (more if you are not a DIY person). Our old KitchenAid lasted almost 20 years. I think some of these manufacturers need a class-actual lawsuit to incentivize them to build quality appliances, and back them with a 10-year warranty.

The refrigerator is good. I never had one better than this one. It works really well. It is the best, and I really like it. I love it. The size is good. It fits all my needed items. It is really good for me and all my family. It is fantastic. I love the appearance. I dont like the colors very much, but the size is good. Sold this unit with our last home, which we had for 7 years. Good interior design layout, no frost problems, energy efficient and easy to clean and maintain. A good height for low ceiling homes. We were very happy with the layout of the refrigerator side; the door shelves are well placed and interior shelving is adjustable. The freezer is a little cramped, but that is a sacrifice for an ice maker. Height is great for lower ceiling homes. The refrigerator looked beautiful in the kitchen, it is easy to match with other appliances. Its easy to clean and resists scratches and stains. The price was comparable to other models in its class - we could have gotten a lesser known brand with a freezer below, but decided to go with the Kenmore because of the reputation and warranty.

We bought a $4k elite 4 years ago, $1k per year and it stopped working. The repair service is pretty much what you read all over the internet. Its a joke the selective 4+ star rating their website shows based on customer complaints. This repair and product services is the biggest joke I have ever experienced. It is not my opinion, its fact they are not customer or priority focused now. Unbelievable. So the requirements to click it is my opinion without a selection that it is my experience and factually horrible service is beyond me.Lost all my freezer and fridge food going on four weeks now with empty promises daily my situation will be addressed. According to others I believe we may just have to repurchase another appliance to replace the ** one we paid hard earned money for several years back. Again this is unbelievable dissatisfaction in a long standing customer. Not sure anything action at this point will erase the sad bad service experience in Sears.

The refrigerator had enough capacity for a family of five. It never failed us until it grew old, 15 years. It was reliable, durable and efficient. I would recommend the Kenmore refrigerator to a family member or friend. The size met our requirements and the area provided in our kitchen. There was ample room for the different food types that we used. The freezer, while not overly large, provided enough room to store the frozen food items that were part of our normal need. It was a cream colored refrigerator. It was plain to the eye. We purchased it for utilization, not a fashion statement. The freezer on the top was easy to get into. The bottom allowed for easy access to clean under the refrigerator. Considering the length of time that our refrigerator serviced us, the price was very cost effective. The refrigerator lasted for fifteen years until we decided to upgrade.

The refrigerator is reliable, expendable, and trendy. Right now the features I love because it’s a big improvement since my last refrigerator, and I can’t complain about the space. I have more space for food and dont have to depend on a whole freezer to store extra food. Also, with the extra space, it keeps my food fresh and cool instead of spoiling quicker than other refrigerators because of the lack of space. It’s also slim fit and tight storage which also keeps your food and beverages fresh over time. I love that the water is purified and I don’t have to buy a whole water filter system because with a system you have to replace every three months which can cost more money over time. When you can just buy a refrigerator with natural water filtration system and contain less contaminants than any tap water or water bottle brand you can find in the market or any stores out right now. The water is ph7 and up which means it’s no contaminants in the water and I don’t have to buy any filter and also my ice is already clean and purified because of the brand-new updated features. I was close to choosing Whirlpool but I chose Kenmore because of the reputation and how their customers was very pleased and happy to share their experiences with the brand free of choice. And in my opinion, Kenmore is similar to an smart refrigerators because of the up-to-date technology and have open USBs. It’s child and spill-proof because it stops upcoming spills from happening and protects other shelves from getting messy if it was to happened because previous refrigerators don’t have that security. If an spill happened everything gets wet, so I like the safety and precaution needs of the consumer.

I like the stainless steel outside, which is easy to keep clean, but the door doesnt hold a full dozen eggs. So I have mixed feelings about our refrig. Next time I buy a refrigerator, I will definitely make sure the door is the right size.

I love the volume, size, style and everything about the refrigerator. My mother has one too. With everything inside I love it. It has perfect size. I could move it around. I love it if its gray in my kitchen but it fit everything in there pretty. Its pretty cool appliance. It does the water, does good ice. Has a lot of space inside of the fridge and freezer, out of the freezer. I got it cheap too. Its pretty good deal and value. I would recommend this to everybody. You’ll love it.

Ive had my Kenmore refrigerator for over 15 years and Ive never had one issue. It is very efficient in keeping all my food and beverages cold. It also has two crispers, one humidity controlled to keep all of my fruit and vegetable fresh. And I love the top drawer to keep my deli meats and cheeses.

It always works very well - we never had a problem with it. It is small for the growing family but it works great all the time. We have never had a problem with it and it runs well. Great, never worried that we would open the door to spoiled food. The refrigerators size is a downfall with a growing family. We usually use it as a second fridge to have enough room for the familys food. Always looks great. Easy to wipe down, easy to clean soap and water. Great looking all the time. The kids can get handprints and mud dirt and grime all over and it still wipes down with paper towels easy. The price we paid for the fridge and how long weve owned it has been a tremendous value. The price at the time was a bit over what we could afford at the time but we knew it was something that would last quite some time and it has been well worth it.

Our kenmore bottom mount refrigerator Type BMA 19F is leaking water on the hardwood floor. The refrigerator is not even 2 years old. What do we do? This could wreck our floor and of course the warranty is finished.

Kenmore has always been a quality product. Its durable, its not super expensive and I have history with the product. I like the way Kenmore side by side looks and the stainless exterior has always been a plus. Stainless steel and side by side foot print worked perfectly for the space I had in kitchen. Also, the stainless steel exterior is easy to clean. I also like the front where you can get water and ice. However, the interior could be changed around. The shelves could be moved around so that milk could fit better and also make a spot for 2 liter sodas. I also wish the ice maker held more ice.

It lasted for about 10 years and gave me trouble free service all the time. Never had to have it repaired. These older made models always lasted longer and were made in America. Had plenty of storage space and the freezer was real big. It made ice cubes in about an hour.

My Kenmore refrigerator was the best refrigerator Ive ever owned. Had it for about 16 years. It always worked good. Ran quietly also. Bought another one recently. I just know it will last a long time and work great. It is also an energy saver model, which is extra benefit.

Ive had this Kenmore refrigerator for a long time. It has a no frills, plain white exterior which will match other white appliances easily. Also, it is easy to clean with soap and water or a spray of Mean Green cleaner. For an inexpensive refrigerator, it works well and does the job right. It first perfectly for a small family. A twelve pack of Cokes and beer fit easily. The freezer is ample as well as long as you are not stocking up for a long time. Its a bit noisy but its very durable. Kenmore is a great company with reasonable prices and a sturdy product. If you are looking for a dependable appliance this is for you.

We purchased a Kenmore side by side refrigerator in July of 2016, also purchased their very expensive 3 year warranty, or as they call it, their Master Protection Agreement. During that 3 years we had eight service calls for the icemaker. After the fourth or fifth service call the technician told us that this model has a design flaw, and that it would keep breaking. Well guess what? They were right. Right after the warranty ran out it broke again and this time the service rep said he could not fix it. The design flaw was in the wiring at the bottom of the freezer, at the hinge where the door swings open. They could no longer splice the wiring to fix it! We paid $89.00 for this service call in which they did nothing but tell us it was unfixable!We contact Customer Service and the BBB to file complaints. Sears refused to help us in any way, telling us we were basically out of luck. They also refuse to refund our $89.00 for the NON-service call. The Customer Service Rep who answered the BBB complaint offered to give us a 20% discount on a new refrigerator. Ridiculous! We will never buy another Sears product. A design flaw such as this should be grounds for a Class Action Law Suit.

I have been a Kenmore brand customer for decades. Purchased a Kenmore Elite refrigerator 5 years ago and it died last week. Called Sears and was told the earliest appointment they had available was two weeks in the future. They provided the name and number for another repair company who might be available sooner. When I called that company, they wanted to charge me nearly $300 for a service call. I promptly hung up the phone on that rip off artist. I called Sears back to ask how much they charge for a service call and was told $99. I could not believe that Sears would provide a referral to such a company. I finally found a local company who for $89 plus an extra emergency fee of $45 came out the next day to diagnose the problem. Turns out the compressor died. While the fridge no longer has a store warranty, the compressor has a 10 year manufacturer’s warranty. So I call Sears to order a new compressor. I am told that they cannot work off of a diagnosis provided by another company so I am back to a two week wait for one of their technicians at a cost of $99 for the service call, to come out and tell me what another company already has. Then after that the part has to be ordered and the repair scheduled. Plus I have to pay for labor charges to have the new compressor installed, which I am sure will come to hundreds of dollars. While I am tempted to purchase a new fridge I decided against it. If the new compressor lasts 1-2 years it allows me to defer the price tag of a new refrigerator for at least 12 months. This piece of crap ran nearly $3k with delivery and install. We were told by the repair guy to stay away from Kenmore, LG, Samsung and Frigidaire because they are all a bunch of crap with a lot of issues. Apparently these brands just stick their names on products manufactured by other companies. Needless to say I will never purchase another Kenmore appliance or the other brands noted by the repair technician.

Weve never had a problem with this refrigerator. Keeps temperature very well and temperature is consistent throughout the main compartment. Energy efficient. Works well for our family of four. Easy to manage bulkier items like pizza boxes, milk jugs, soda bottles, etc. Freezer compartment is generous but poorly organized. Like the stainless finish, but does collect streaks and spots from a house with children. Somewhat boring profile, nothing of note just blends in to overall kitchen. Did some comparison shopping and we got a great deal by waiting for special offer. Because of efficiency I am confident the cost of ownership is also low.
