Kenmore Refrigerators are extremely reliable. I have never had an issue with my refrigerator or any of my other Kenmore appliances. You cannot go wrong with any Kenmore appliance. No problem fitting our weekly groceries and any leftover items in the refrigerator along with luncheon items. Along with our pit hers of fresh brewed tea. We opted for a standard color refrigerator and I like the look of the Kenmore Refrigerators. They are attractive looking in our kitchen. Our Kenmore Refrigerator is a nice quality appliance for the price and in our experience Kenmore appliances have long lasting durability and reliability.

This Kenmore top freezer fridge is 10 years old and still works well. We have had a couple of service calls due to the freezer (with ice maker) freezing up. Now we know to keep the bottom shelf of the freezer free from crumbs to keep the drain holes open. Overall I would buy this refrigerator again.

No light in the freezer, no ice maker. Meat section and two drawers with humidity control. Butter section covered. Good shelving and door storage big enough for gallons. Low noise level. Plenty of shelf space and door storage. Freezer has enough space for numerous frozen dinner (at least 20) plus meats, vegetables, breads, ice cream. Almond color to match other kitchen items, no exposed parts, modern handles, shiny finish, scratch-resistant, easy to clean, fits well in available space. Very good value for the price paid. Energy-efficient. Was able to get a good discount, credit card rewards and rebate rewards, so value was even better.

BUYER BEWARE – KENMORE REFRIGERATOR. November 30, 2016 I purchased a Kenmore Elite 795.74093.411/Seri#607R00046. June 25, 2018 it stopped working (less than 18 months), I lost everything in it. I phoned Sears and found out that it was no longer under warranty and I will have to pay full price. I went online and looked at the Consumer Report - out of 54 reviews - 38 are 1 Star. Sears - out of 55 reviews - 37 are 1 Star. Amazon has 2 reviews - 1st is out of 3 - 3 are 1 star / 2nd review is 2.5 out of 5 stars with a 67% 1 star rating. NOTE... it only covers 25% cost of parts. I was also told by her that Kenmore is not a Sears Brand. Funny when I look up Kenmore all phone numbers lead to SEARS.

The fridge was a decent model. It did not have a lot space. The freezer was small and could not fit all of the frozen items in it. I could only buy a few meat items at a time. In addition, the fridge part was an okay size however the bars on the door came off and the condiments would often fall out.

We bought a top of the line elite french door refrigerator. Within the warranty period the freezer and ice maker froze up. We had two repairmen that visited. Each diagnosed a different problem, but the freezer has continued to freeze over the following two years and is NOW out of warranty. We have to totally empty refrigerator and freezer monthly to let the unit thaw out.

It never gave us a lick of trouble, the 8 years we had it. We got for a house warming gift, the seals were all tight up to the day we gave it to some less fortunate friends of ours. From the freeze to veg. and lunch meat trays did their job, the best aspect of the whole thing was the elec. bill never went sky high. We loved it, we went out and bought a side by side with water and ice dispenser. The freezer, cold storage for meats, veggies, and butter, and everyday grocery, racks were plenty spacious for a family of two, then came the little one. We had no problem with all the formula and all that comes with having a baby, plus plenty of room for my beer.The color was eggshell white, nice texture, easy to clean even with smokers in the house. It fit right in with the cupboards, style and got a lot of compliments on it, who would of thought a ref. Even though we got IT FOR HOUSE warming gift, I would see our model or close to it that it would be very affordable for our budget, we had just bought a new vehicle, so if we had to buy we could of, it was very reasonable.

Besides the obvious of great price, the style was perfect (side by side) with great features like on door filtered water and ice dispenser. But the best part was while it was the brand with the shortest exterior depth, it still provided a large interior. Also, it was very quiet which was one of the features that was most important. Finally, the service plan was excellent since it include an annual maintenance feature.

I had an old Kenmore fridge that lasted for 20 years. I replaced it because it became so noisy but it was cooling perfectly. The new one I got Nov. 2013 is the 18.3 cu ft with two doors (Sears.ca item number 463642104). Two weeks ago, the freezer stopped working (everything inside melted) then few days later the whole fridge was not cooling. It is plugged and it looks like its working but it is not cooling. I called a technician and he said there is a gas leak and that should not happen with a less than 3-year old fridge. Tracking a leak and replacing the gas is very expensive and you are better off buying a new fridge. I called Sears and of course I am on my own because it has been more than 12 months.

The product has never had any problems with maintenance so far. The food is also always cold at the exactly right temperature, and its very spacious inside the fridge. I also like the amount of side space in the refrigerator, because it gives me room for my condiments and is plenty of room for me to store my items that I need to. Mostly everything fits inside of the fridge. Only things that are slightly tall have problems with fitting inside the fridge. I love the sleek black or shiny grey color of these fridges. Mine is a shiny grey and it looks very unique. It also matches well with the rest of my kitchen, and the handle and ice dispenser are built very well inside of the fridge. The value is more than worth it. This fridge is very durable, a nice design and look, has plenty of space for mostly anything, and is just better than most fridges in general. And the price isnt all that bad either, which is why I own this fridge.

In the winter of 2014 I bought the Kenmore 795.5131 model side-by-side refrigerator during a sale from Sears. In the spring of 2015 the ice machine stopped working. I did not buy more than a 1 year protection plan and am quite annoyed that I had to pay over $200 to have it replaced. The repairman who I have had used for over a decade told me that this brand of Kenmore uses LG parts who are mostly made of plastic. My intent is to let others and Sears manufacturers know that by buying one they may be in the same boat.

Big disappointment after spending $2-3k in this refrigerator only 3 yrs ago and the compressor goes out 1-2 weeks after my warranty expires. Luckily the compressor is covered longer but the labor was ridiculous $$$. And then to read all the individuals who had the same thing happen and practically at the same time. This has to be like a recall or defective batch that was made 2016-2017. And to think I spent extra because I wanted to counter height. Last Kenmore I’ll buy.

I purchased a Kenmore Refrigerator bc it was the price I could afford to spend. It was a self defroster and it had adjustable shelves. All the drawers were clear so you could see what all was in them without having to search a whole lot. But I disliked the fact that it was a off white color and it was actually too big for the space we were trying to put it in...so bc it was too big had to leave it outside. After using Kenmore I can say it was really a good fridge and would buy that brand again.

I had a Kenmore refrigerator for over 25 years. It was the best one I have ever owned. Any Kenmore appliance will last for years. It is the best you will ever own if you purchase one. I never had to replace any parts or have any repairs done to it. It just kept working and working. It was big enough to hold anything I ever needed it to hold. Kenmore refrigerators may cost a bit more than other brands, but it is well worth the extra money because it will last what seems like an eternity.

I like Kenmore only for the plain fact that it is very popular. Also they are very sturdy appliances and last quite a long time compared to other fridges. I like that it has a drawer as a freezer. It reminds me of a box freezer or a deep freezer. I also like the door with the water and ice part. That really comes in handy because you dont have to get in it to get some ice. Its all right there. Make the fridge a little bit more roomier though so that the milk and the sodas as well as a bottle of wine can all fit on the same shelf together.

The performance of this refrigerator is amazing! Keeps my items at the correct temperature at all times, lots of storage space and the perfect size for my kitchen. I have never had any issues with this product at all. The size of this product is great. Not too tall, not too wide, it fits perfectly in my kitchen. This is a great fridge for a smaller kitchen. Outside looks nice and is easy to clean. There is enough room in the fridge to hold a gallon of milk, a case of pop and food to feed a family of four for a week. The freezer has space for frozen pizzas and frozen meats as well as, frozen dinners and snacks. The black exterior is sharp to look at and fits in with most decor. Its pretty smudge resistant and cleans up well. The handles are sturdy and can withstand kids. The size was perfect for our space. Plenty of storage made it comparable to the higher priced models. Its very energy efficient and quiet. We never had a problem with it defrosting on its own.

We have been a Kenmore family for generations. The last house we were in we got ripped off by the Sears home repair service and had many breakdowns. We decided to go away from Kenmore and Sears for several years. We moved into a new house and decided to give Sears a try again. This new fridge is junk. Just a few months after purchase the door handles keep falling off (screws will not stay tight), the ice maker fan keeps freezing up which makes all the ice melt and water all over the floor. Tried to get things repaired under warranty but after 2 hours on the phone, being transferred all over the place and being hung up on, the repair person cant come for 3 weeks. People on the phone dont speak English very well, the whole process is still a nightmare. Last time that we will ever buy Kenmore or Sears.

It is a nice refrigerator, has plenty of space, and keeps my food nice and cold. High build quality too! I also like the grey color of it. That way it does not turn yellow from the light. This Kenmore refrigerator has adequate space for all my food items. It has plenty of drawers and slots for food and drinks too. Id recommend it for sure. This Kenmore refrigerator looks very nice. Because of the grey color, Fluorescent light does not make it change colors. I would value it as pretty expensive because of how nice it looks and the build quality of it which is very nice.

The overall quietness of it is great. Cant even tell its on. And it keep every compartment cooled/chilled just to what the setting is set at. I love it! It has such great storage and adjustable drawers and shelves. I couldnt ask any more from such a great unit! Please never change how well you make this fridge. It is a very sleek design and well polished looking. I love the stainless steel look to it! Never change how you do what you do. Its perfect in every way. As prices though, it could always be lower. The more money saved is always something the customer would like to have. Plus it leaves more money to spend on other things.

We had this refrigerator for a couple of years and it would always have a build up of ice on the back of the freezer therefore it would not freeze the food properly. The size was great for a small family. We are a family of six and we really need a lot of room in the freezer. And when we filled it to capacity it would get a build up of ice. The refrigerator was a little old fashioned. White appliances dont have a modern appearance. It didnt take up a lot of room but it wasnt small either. We got the refrigerator on sale at an appliance warehouse. The price was reasonable enough. So the price fit into my budget and I thought it was a good buy.

I purchased fridge along with the extended warranty. I started having problems with the ice maker almost immediately. Sears came out 5 times and cannot fix the problem. When I said I wanted a new fridge (as promised per the warranty after 3 tries) the repairman said aint gonna happen, its only an ice maker. One of the repairmen said this is a common problem with this model. So why are they still selling it?! Ive been a loyal Sears customer over 40 years, but no more. Im going somewhere else for other appliances and everything else I need.

My Kenmore refrigerator has been nothing but a consistent performer. I have never had to have it repaired or serviced. It looks great and comes with a great warranty. I bought it over ten years ago and it works just as well as the first day I owned it.

Brought 3 refrigerators from Sears in 2 weeks. All was Kenmores. The first two I had to return right because the ice maker didnt work. The 3rd was the Kenmore Elite. Since it was so expensive and big, I thought it was a good refrigerator. Well I was wrong! It sucks just like the other two! After 24 months the refrigerator just stopped working! All of my food went bad, the ice maker and freezer stopped work! Only thing working is the water dispenser. When I call Sears, they want to charge me a $99 service fee plus I have to pay for parts and labor because the warranty is only a year! $2500 FOR A REFRIGERATOR THAT WORKED 24 MONTHS! SERIOUSLY??KENMORE IS A RIP OFF AND THEY SHOULDNT BE ALLOWED TO SELL THESE APPLIANCES THAT DONT WORK. Taking customers hard earned money! If you want to buy a good product that works, DONT BUY KENMORE APPLIANCES. These Refrigerators are for looks only! I will not recommend Kenmore appliances to my family or friends and I will not buy any more appliances from Sears. It has three shelves inside to easily stack the food for freezes. It even has a pull out drawer for extra storage. When food is kept in there it stays nice and cold. It is big like the size of a full-size fridge, except for the fact that it is all freezer. It has lots of space inside and very deep too. It is a tall, white, solid color freezer that is square in shape. It also needs a fairly big space to fit into. Overall it has great value and I would highly recommend this freezer. Since I bought it I have never had a problem with it. It runs nice and quietly.

I bought what I THOUGHT was a top of the line fridge called the Kenmore Elite but it seems that Sears forgot that elite means best and not worst. Just after 3 years the compressor died. It took 3 weeks to get the tech out so I had to buy a temp fridge. Cost me over $600 to fix. I have come to learn they are being sued for knowing about the bad compressors and selling them anyway. STAY AWAY FROM KENMORE!

It has been a great refrigerator. It is high quality and has lasted a long time. I love this model and it meets my needs. It fit the location we put it in perfectly well. It has plenty of room inside the refrigerator and freezer. It is a perfect size to go in our pantry and holds everything we need it to. This is a very attractive refrigerator. I like the color and the size and the inside is perfect as for as appearance. This Kenmore refrigerator was a great value. I was able to afford it easily with my tax refund check. I appreciate it very much for the cost being a good value.

Its was good and performance is good. It was very spacious and have easy to clean. Easy to maintenance. Difficult to clean the rack. Freezer and icebox was too good for celebrating parties and function at home. The size was huge. More spacious and elaborate but some huge box has not fit in this type of fridge and the colour was white. It is very difficulty to maintain. The stain was permanently fixed in the fridge. Appearance was good but Im not satisfied in that. It was huge and big rectangular box with two door. It is not stylish for the home or apartment. I like metallic colour fridge. Its looking good. The value was not satisfied because its not looking good. The rating and price was not good. It was too high when compared to other fridge, difficulties to handle and clean the fridge..

We bought a Kenmore Elite 27.5 cu ft refrigerator 3 years ago. It stopped cooling and a service technician came out the next day and replaced the compressor. This fixed the problem for 3 days when it went bad again and we were told the new compressor was bad. We waited 10 days for the next service call when we were told that it was not the compressor, but an internal leak which was not under warranty and we needed to replace the entire unit. Our last refrigerator lasted more than 10 years without a problem. Even at 3 years, I would not have expected an epic failure that could not be repaired requiring us to purchase an entirely new unit. Disappointed in the lack of longevity of the unit. Will not buy Kenmore again.

Convenient shelves on refrigerator door which hold gallon-sized containers; large bins on bottom of fridge for vegetables and/or meat; adjustable shelves in both refrigerator and freezer; narrow shelf on freezer door; water and ice dispenser on left (freezer) door. Would like increased freezer space; interior light in refrigerator is too dim; shelves in refrigerator, though reasonably deep, or not quite high enough. We chose to purchase Kenmore both because of its highly recommended status in the appliance world in general and because of Sears, where we actually bought the refrigerator. Overall, we have been quite satisfied with the refrigerator/freezer.

Purchased an expensive French Door Bottom refrigerator from Sears in Feb. of 2013. Last week it stopped working. Called the Sears Service and they said they will charge $99 to come out and then give an estimate for the repairs. They also tried to sell me their 5-year warranty for $324.0 which is sold for $150 by Home Depot and Lowes. I called another repair service who charged me $65 to check the problem and said that compressor is not working would cost $750.00 to replace the compressor. We decided to junk the refrigerator and buy an LG two-door top freezer for $990. Will never again buy a Sears brand product.

Kenmore has always been a quality product. Its durable, its not super expensive and I have history with the product. I like the way Kenmore side by side looks and the stainless exterior has always been a plus. Stainless steel and side by side foot print worked perfectly for the space I had in kitchen. Also, the stainless steel exterior is easy to clean. I also like the front where you can get water and ice. However, the interior could be changed around. The shelves could be moved around so that milk could fit better and also make a spot for 2 liter sodas. I also wish the ice maker held more ice.

Cost efficient, low maintenance and keeps everything cold. We have two fridges and a deep freezer, this one cost less to keep running throughout the year. And then there is a good amount of room to feed 6 people. Freezer could be bigger but it is great for the price we got it for. A lot of storage room in the refrigerator, shelf have a decent amount of room. Nice clean white look, matches well with all the other appliances. Very simple design and gets the job done. Its a bit high and it was hard to move and get into the basement.

The Kenmore refrigerator for the cost and install to the next day delivery was well worth the money and had all the extra space needed to get the job done. I am a loyal customer of the Kenmore Brands and I will always have it as a first choice but also a Maytag refrigerator for the second choice. Kenmore refrigerators to be honest have a great reputation for making and designs based on everyday normal function of our fast paced lives and offers great return policy. Outstanding quality products.

We have a side by side and we have never had any problems with it. We bought it about three years ago. It has an automatic ice maker and pure water to drink. I would recommend it to anyone that would ask me about our refrigerator.

It did the job fine, I got what I needed out of it but it was in my apartment. The space of it was decent enough and I dont have much complaints. Looks-wise, it was also cute. Not huge but works well for 1-2 people. I think that it worked fine for the apartment that I was in but not for a small family. I personally had to upgrade mine to fit the amount of people living in the home. It was not a bad looking refrigerator and I personally would use it again if it was just me. There is nothing wrong with this fridge looks-wise or use-wise. Not a bad value at all, it got me through what I needed it for! I honestly would recommend it to other people who are looking for something pleasing and useful but affordable.

It does what its supposed to and has been working for many years. I have had few difficulties to it other than the fact the inside trays have broken however, it is still usable. The fridge has plenty enough room for our needs. Rarely do we run out of room in the fridge. The freezer however is not big enough for the food that we store. Its nothing special, just a white fridge that is useful. Nothing more, nothing less of its intended use. I guess it is a nice size but other than that its just a fridge. The value of the fridge is great because we have had it for years now and there hasnt been a major technical problem other than the interior is breaking.

Do NOT buy a Kenmore Elite refrigerator from Sears. We purchased one in 2011. It broke down in September due to a failure of the refrigerant system, but Sears has been unwilling and unable to repair it. They stalled us, made us wait weeks for repairs, lied to us and finally tricked us into believing our warranty was not with them. They told us the warranty was with the manufacturer, LG. This, we found out, was a lie. It is now November and we have no refrigerator and Sears refuses to stand behind their product. They said their hands are tied. This was an expensive appliance and should not have had problems after only 4 years. That said, Sears has made it impossible with their 3 week appointment windows for repairs, never having the right parts, not showing up for appointments, excuses, and then deceiving us with their warranty story. All with no apologies for the time and trouble. We bought this Kenmore refrigerator in good faith, thinking it was the best we could get. Sears is NOT the same company that it used to be and we are done with them.

I have had no problems with my refrigerator at all, keeps everything good or frozen as it should. I would definitely recommend Kenmore and if I need to replace mine that is the brand I would definitely purchase.

Spacious with easy to remove drawers, logical storage and ample shelves. It is perfect for a family of four and holds weekly grocery trips worth of food stuffs easily. Streamlined appearance, sophisticated, fits with classic or modern decor, easy to clean and maintain, solid quality. Ice maker water display is appealing also. Great product for the money, especially if you are able to get a sale with warranty. Comparable to top of the line appliances. Comprehensive warranty makes it a worthwhile investment.

My fridge has had icicles forming on the inside of the freezer door and freezer frame. It is caused from the factory not making it airtight. They will not replace these fridges. They will only send a repair man to fix everything by using silicone all around the whole thing. It is apparent all these models 970R424123 Serial number BA54922901 Model type AD-18 were made with the same problem. Very dissatisfied with fridge and service. All people should be posting their dissatisfaction with this product which is owned by Electrolux!!!

Definitely does what its supposed to even a little more and has a lot of space inside and is a beautiful fridge and not sure what else to say about it other than Id recommend it to all my friends and family. A great size for both fridge and freezer and does its job and would recommend to all friends and family but seems that all Kenmore fridges work amazingly. Very gorgeous and goes great in my new remodeled kitchen and wouldnt trade it for anything and would hope that youll stop asking for so many letters and words. A good value for the price and definitely have told all my family and friends this brand and they have checked it out and are very interested in updating.

The machine is awesome. Its a 2 compartment with an ice maker. The crisper keep things like lettuce and other vegetables cold but doesnt ruin them too fast. The ice in the ice maker can get stuck together if you dont keep it emptied but that is the only real complaint. Its the right size, it fits where my old one was perfectly. The freezer keeps a lot of stuff in it and the space in the refrigerator is second to none. Overall probably more space than I need or am used to, but I love it. It is also tall enough to where I can keep some things out of reach of small children. Appearance is great, its simple design and the interior is really spacious. I love the design of the drawers and the crispers. The door is also nice, I can store a lot of stuff in it. Great value. You wont find another fridge on the market that does what this one does at the price it is offered. Would definitely recommend.

Our refrigerator was professionally installed in 2007. On a Spring 2013 morning I opened the refrigerator door to find our food hot & a burning smell. The interior light had melted the light fixture. A repair person was not available for several weeks. We removed the light bulb. A repair was made. Interesting that a recall had been made. We had no notification. We did have to pay for the service call. Early in December, I noticed that our hardwood floor in front of the refrigerator seemed to be warping in areas. We pulled the refrig away from the wall to find that water damage had occurred behind it. Thankfully, a plumber responded to an emergency call. The water line for the water dispenser & ice cube maker had hardened & cracked. So any time either was used, water sprayed on the floor. At this time we are drying out the floor. We will not use the water features again. I would never buy a Kenmore product again.

Big, useful, great product. The refrigerator is huge and has a lot of storage for fruit, meats, leftovers, juice, milk, butter and etc. The freezer too has a lot of space. The ice is automatic so you dont have to dig your hands in an ice bin. There is also filtered water. The size is very ideal. Many different storage places, racks, and etc. It is a very deep fridge so theres more space towards the back. The outside is very nice-looking with a steel glass looking. On the inside it is very contemporary looking with lots of shelving and storage. Great value. It has lasted me years with no problems. Everything works and looks the same as when I bought it. You just have to make sure to keep it clean.

The best I ever had. It is big enough for the food that I put in it and it does not over cool the products that I put in there either. I would highly recommend it to family and friends just as I have. The one I had before this one was the complete opposite. It over cooled my veggies and fruits and to make matters worst the milk. I mean these are things that most people take for granted. I know because I did too. But theres nothing worst than going into the fridge for a beer and its frozen. Well with this Kenmore you dont have to worry about a thing. Just fill it up and enjoy. The one that I had was about around 6 feet tall. Im not too sure about the width but I know it was big enough for us. You will not be disappointed. I assure you my friend. Its a beautiful fridge also. I get compliments on it all the time. When I offer people a drink they usually get up and come to see the inside of it like its a new car or something. The value was on the money as far as how much I had to spend and what I wanted to spend and to be honest I believe that I paid less for what the fridge is worth.

I googled the largest refrigerator made and pulled up this Kenmore Elite, it is big up top and the bottom freezer has mammoth room! The ice and water in the door are simply perfect and take up a very small amount of room in the door. The drawers in the fridge are spacious, I’m very happy! To clean the entire top and bottom is easy.

The first thing that I liked about this Kenmore Refrigerator was the price. It has a ton of shelf space, deep door bins and has the efficient cooling system that keeps the food really cold. All of the shelves are adjustable as well. I like most of the features but there are some that are not needed. I dont particularly like the style of glass shelving in this refrigerator. Another thing that I didnt like was the storage space. This unit only holds 20 CF, I was hoping for 25. Nevertheless, we are very pleased with this model. It actually exceeded our expectations and we look forward to having it for the next 10 years.

At the time that I purchased this refrigerator, it was on sale. We bought this at Lowes and it was a scratch and dent sale. It just had a small dent on the side. I really liked that it had a lot of storage space. However, there just arent enough shelves. I wish this model had more shelves in the door and that it was handprint free. Also, I think it needs more freezer space. But I like the stainless steel.

When we were shopping, we were on a budget and wanted to get the best we could for the money that we had and at that time purchasing a Kenmore seemed like the best choice we could make. Our refrigerator lasted a long time without any problems. Also, it had plenty of space and everything fit nicely. If I had a larger family I may have liked a larger size if one was available but at the time I liked it just the way that it was.

Refrigerator maintains temperature throughout. With my last fridge things on the back shelf would freeze and items on the front of the shelf would get warm. No temperature balance. Have not had any problems at all with this unit. All items stay same temperature. Problem free. Plenty of room for a family of four. Smart space on shelves and doors. We store around ten days of food in my HE fridge and about a months worth of frozen items in the freezer. This refrigerator has a very clean modern look to it. I believe it came in more colors we have. The steel matches other appliances perfectly. This unit was not the cheapest to buy nor was the most expensive. I feel we got a great value for our dollar. Three years maintenance free so far. The last two refrigerators we had were from LG and a generic brand. Both had major problems within a year.

It works better than any fridge Ive ever used. There is tons of space in the fridge. It makes ice rapidly. And it looks amazing. Overall the performance cant be beat. The refrigerator part has more than enough space for all of my needs! It has great shelf storage in the door, and even better shelf size and spacing in the main area. The downfall would be the freezer part. It is very narrow and I cant stock up on as much as I would like to. The fridge is eye catching and sleek. It fits in with my decor of my kitchen and isnt a bothersome sight. It doesnt seem to get full of hand prints like previous fridges we have used, and it also cleans nicely. The value of this fridge is outstanding. The price for a high performance appliance was well worth it. I expect my fridge to last a very long time and always make me happy.

It was years ago that I had this type of refrigerator. It was one of my first refrigerator, couldnt complain about anything about it. I liked the freezer. It was nice and spacious. I expected the functions that it offered and it was met with the expirations. Just wish when I bought one would of been great if I would of waited till later in the years, to have a built-in ice machine. It was with me for years but times changed with technology but the overall experience was great. I expected to have it as the warranty would expire and it last past the time. Ive moved up on the refrigerators. I was completely satisfied when I chose a Kenmore refrigerator. I just liked the brand of it and the performance that it offered. I loved my refrigerator.

The Kenmore was provided by our landlord well over 23 years ago and was a good quality. The landlord wanted an efficient running refrigerator, which this was indeed. Our electric bills were low, and there was never any repair work needed while we used the refrigerator. So far, I liked the ease of cleaning the shelves. Also, seeing what is in the refrigerator is an important factor in making my choice to buy. However, our family of six needed more space to store food, especially the milk our children would drink in a weeks time. So I would have liked more freezer space to store food for future use. The ice tray area was small and did not keep up during the summer. There was some ice build up in the freezer too.

It just works really good. Im happy with it. It keeps things very cold and has a lot of room. I have no problems with it. I enjoy using it and looking at it. Ive always had a small refrigerator so when I purchased a new one, space was a big issue for me. I am happy to say that I made the right choice. The fridge looks really nice in my kitchen. It makes the kitchen appear beautiful! I like just looking at it everyday. I got a good deal when I purchased this fridge. The value of it is great. Im glad I got it now. I wouldnt have another.

Kenmore Elite does not get cold enough to keep milk in it. Sears said it doesnt need to be colder. Put old refrigerator, which is much colder, in laundry room just so milk doesnt spoil. Running two refrigerator now. Will never buy another Kenmore.

Ive owned a Kenmore refrigerator in my new apartment that I recently moved into. The fridge is nice, nothing has gone wrong with it yet. The freezer keeps all of the items nice and cold and I havent had any sign of freezer burn on anything. The fridge is nice, keeps everything fresh and has no smells like my old fridge. Its white in color, which looks great and also has a water and ice spout on the front, which is great for grabbing an easy glass of ice water. Very nice, and works great!

I have had this refrigerator several years. It keeps everything cold, it defrosts itself, and is easy to clean. Side by side gives more room for fridge and freezer, and the water it supplies is cold and good tasting. Ive never had any issues with it in the 10 years Ive had it. Kenmore is my go to brand because it represents quality across the board. There is so much storage space, side by side is so much better than freezer top refrigerators. It has a lot of room to store just about anything on its shelves, in the freezer as well as the refrigerator. My Kenmore refrigerator is a side by side, and has a steel finish that is so easy to keep clean. There is a water and ice machine on the outside of the freezer section, making it accessible for a healthy glass of cold water. This Kenmore side by side refrigerator is well worth the amount I paid for it, and I have not needed repairs since I bought 10 years ago. To me, the Kenmore brand is synonymous with quality.

Kenmore has definitely met my expectations. It was the existing refrigerator in the house when I purchased it. The product is sound, reliable, and built very well. It is more than 15 years old and still works great. But I would improve the interior spacing and use stronger plastic for the shelves. My refrigerator is white and I would offer other custom colors besides the standard Black, white, and stainless steel. But the Overall Performance and reliability is excellent and the size is perfect for the space.

My Kenmore fridge freezes up because of a part on the drain hose that needs to be cut to let the water go to the drain pan. On My Sears Community sears says to replace with a revised part. The part is a duckbill & they have a new & improved one to correct the problem Part # W10309238. Sears or Kenmore should repair no charge.

The only reason I chose this Kenmore refrigerator was because it was cheap. I bought it used since I know it would be cheaper than buying it at the store. I spend only 500 dollars on it and I really like it. As long as its not making my food bad I am happy.

The appearance of this refrigerator is sleek and unobtrusive, which is what we want in our kitchen. This fridge works well for us and it is a good size. There is some flexibility in the space which is helpful when we have larger items. We like that the freezer has shelves as opposed to the bins that we see elsewhere and also storage on the door which we find helpful. Of all the refrigerators we look at, we thought this was one the best value for the price. We have been very pleased and would recommend it to others. It is very nice.

The freezer worked very good, and so did the refrigerator, its been running for years. Id certainly buy another one. I could fit quite a bit, had lots of room, was well designed, and the performance is excellent. The size of the refrigerator was perfect for my family. Attractive looking and have never had a problem with it. Usually buy GE products but got a good deal on this Kenmore... Happy I bought because it has performed well and it fit perfectly in my kitchen. Plenty of room for both fridge and freezer... I live alone so never have a problem with space in fridge. I think it is 20 cubic feet. It is big enough that sometimes my sister uses the extra space for her. Like the color and it fits perfectly with the rest of the kitchen. I wanted a side by side dual fridge / freezer, that looked good along with my other appliances. Very happy with the price I paid for the fridge/freezer. It was a company going out of business, so got a great deal... probably paid 30 cents on the dollar.

I bought a brand new Kenmore side by side because I had previously bought a Kenmore refrigerator 35 years ago and it is still running. My new one was beautiful but it died in 2 years 3 months. Compressor is totally shot and 1 year warranty covers NOTHING. I had the local refrigeration repair company come out that is reputable and honest. He didnt even charge me the full price for a house call. Thank goodness I kept my old fridge and plugged it in and it runs fine. I will only buy American made going forward and have learned my lesson... Always get the extended warranty.

This is a standard fridge that will last a lot longer than you might need and will effectively cool and keep your foods fresh. The performance considering the length of time it can be in use is impressive. The size of this fridge can accommodate any normal familys requirements for food cooling and storage as well as freezing solutions. The size is more than adequate. The look of this fridge is a standard white fridge with the handle and ultimately nothing needs to be changed. Its just fine the way that it is with the classic design appeal. Considering this is one of the lower end models, its rather high quality and therefore the value is rather high when considering how reliable the model in general is.

The refrigerator was large enough to hold my food and had compartments to organize fruits and dressings. The freezer was large as well. The size was large enough to fit large food items and small items were compartmentalized in the refrigerator. The set up for the refrigerator was helpful. The refrigerator was sleek looking and blended in well with the rest of my kitchen appliances. I liked the leaner design and it was not clunky in my kitchen. I believe it was pricey but I bought it a while ago. I have had less expensive refrigerators but they did not last as long as this refrigerator.

Our Kenmore fridge is a very basic, low-price appliance. It is a white refrigerated box for keeping food in, the kind youd find in a motel kitchenette or an inexpensive apartment. Its not appropriate for a family and you cant fit a great deal into it. Still, its acceptable for a single person or a couple who want something utilitarian without any bells and whistles. Also, it would be good for a vacation home.

I am joining the conversation about the Kenmore Elite refrigerator. Our 2.5 year old fridge died on January 1st, 2018. After two visits from repairmen, the first guy ordered a part and we waited ten days, and then the second repairman came to install the part and said it was the wrong part, we need a new compressor. We are in need of a part to go with the compressor, a valve, that is just now being manufactured and they have no idea when this valve will be ready. Of course, I have to call Sears to see when the part will be available. No wonder Sears is going out of business, shoddy appliances, uninformed supervisors that can barely read off the of their scripts. I feel there is no one to turn to help alleviate this situation but am at the mercy of whenever Sears gets around to manufacturing parts. Stay away from Sears.

Model 59672389411 - I bought this ref for $1999.99. Sears wanted me to buy a 799.99 5 year extended warranty. This was almost half the cost of the ref so I choose not to. I have never bought extended warranties before and have never needed to on appliances. I bought the ref on 7/10/15 and it stop working on 1/28/2017 that is 18 months later. Both the coolant lines were leaking. Repairman said he would have to replace them and the compressor. This is pretty much the complete sealed system. Cost would be $911.79. Again half the cost of the ref and I would only get 90 day warranty on that. I have called every number I can find for Sears. 1-888-507-9312 Sears corporate advocate who referred me to 1-888-536-6673 who referred me to 1-800-549-4505 Sears national customer hotline who told me there is nothing they can do. Before those calls I called 1-888-536-6673, 1-847-286-2500, 1-800-469-4663, and was given the e-mail address shc@customerservice.sears.com. No one at any of these numbers would help. I am just SOL. I have to throw this refrigerator in the land fill. I am appalled over this!!! Sears should be accountable for their products. I wanted to get in touch with the person who manufactured the ref because they should be accountable for the parts they make but no one will tell me who it is. I found a site that said Amana was the manufacturer. When I called them they would not say they made the parts. The consumer is being ripped off by Sears. As you can read in all the other reviews some thud is going on with the ref manufactured after 2015. I still do not have a ref and it is 3/12/2017. Because I am so mad I am going to report Sears to every agency I can find. Do not buy their products!!!

I bought a 3-door Kenmore (made by LG) top-of-the-line 31 cubic foot and have the same problem 3 times! They replaced the mother board 3 times and the heater for the defroster. I get an funky error message on the LED display, the water no longer works, the deli bin freezes over and the refrigerator only cools to about 45 or 50 degrees. Im looking for a Samsung now. Sears Outlet is loaded with the exact same refrigerators.

We never had any problems with the performance of the refrigerator. It always kept things at the right temperature. The ice maker worked great with no problems. The shelves were sturdy and easy to clean. It was more than able to fit everything we needed. The freezer looked like it would be small from the outside, but it had plenty of storage space. The fridge was huge and had plenty of shelf and door space. We had the white color refrigerator. It would have looked sleeker in stainless steel. It doesnt look as nice as a side by side freezer/fridge, but its a refrigerator and not a decoration. The utility of the fridge made up for the appearance. The refrigerator was not cheap, but it also wasnt top of the line. I feel it was worth the money we paid for it. We never had to do any repairs or maintenance. If you buy cheaper appliances, you end up paying more in repairs. So this fridge was worth the slightly higher price.

Fits just about anything. Very adjustable and runs quiet. Doesnt use too much energy. Frozen pizzas dont always fit. Temperature stays constant, no need to adjust. Ive stored pretty much every possible grocery item in mine, from bottles of various sizes to large pizza boxes to holiday leftovers. The freezer side is a bit compact but will hold most boxed or wrapped items. Nothing shouts modern and sleek like a stainless steel finish. Easy to clean, shiny, and nearly futuristic. Looks like a restaurant quality unit. Very great deal. Even though I got mine while it was on sale, I would gladly have paid full price for mine. Worth every penny I spent on it. Once this unit eventually gives out, Ill have more than gotten my moneys worth.

I havent had any major issues. I do struggle with cleaning it if something has spilled and hasnt been cleaned up immediately. I also think that because I have an older style, the placement of items in the fridge is more difficult.

Good usage and great features. Keeps the food well sorted and does its job well. Have gotten a lot of great years out of my last refrigerator and look forward to purchasing my next Kenmore. Well worth the investment.

We purchased a new refrigerator four years ago. Now we need a small part, a motor fan, and it is no longer made or available. Our beautiful (looking) and expensive refrigerator is no longer usable, and we have to buy a new one which we cannot afford. Shame on Sears for discontinuing a part after such a short period of time and not standing behind their appliances; and the service tech was rude to boot. We have always bought Kenmore appliances. Now we will never buy Kenmore appliances, and we will share our story in any way we can.

The refrigerator was on sale and Kenmore has a good reputation. They have been around for a long time. It kept things cold and was quiet. Moreover, it was pretty. However, the ice would get stuck sometimes and it was a pain. Ice would fall out onto the floor. It would beep. I think it was faulty in that department. It happened a little too often to be normal.

I loved my Kenmore refrigerator. It was extremely efficient and spacious! It met all of my needs! I am planning on buying another one because I had to leave it behind because of moving.

Our Kenmore side by side fridge is excellent. Plenty of room and the lighting in it is superb! I can see what I need too and everything is laid out very nicely inside. Makes plenty of ice, easy to clean and very easy to change the water filter inside. We probably looked at 10 different refrigerators and as soon as we saw this one, we knew we had to have it.

According to several sources, the average lifespan of a refrigerator is 14-17 years, assuming proper care and maintenance. Our Kenmore refrigerator, model number 596.69312010, lasted less than six years. Over a two months time span, the Main Control Board for our fridge needed to be replaced three times. We work with a reliable appliance repairman who has always done A+ work for us. I have no doubt that the installation of the replacement control board was done correctly, but within a few weeks it died again. On the third occasion, we gave up. Were not investing any more time or money in trying to extend the life of a sub-par appliance. Im not an expert but my guess is that there are issues with the entire cooling system of this fridge, which leads to the quick death of main control board. Whatever the cause, were done. Im leaving this review to warn other consumers before they got stuck in the same situation. Refrigerators are expensive. Even with bargain pricing youre looking at several hundred dollars for the most basic models. If they last as long as they should, the cost per year makes the expense bearable. When they die early, less than halfway through their expected lifespan, its very frustrating.

I bought a Kenmore refrigerator in 1990 when I got married. Used it every day until it broke. It lasted until 2011. Great refrigerator and bought another one. Hope this one lasts just as long.

Don’t buy a Kenmore refrigerator. The ice/water system is a piece of crap. The ice dispenser won’t stop giving ice and now the water won’t turn off. Buyers beware. Can’t tell you how disappointed I am in this product.

My mom used to have one. She said the fridge worked for at least 10 years. It was my childhood fridge. It has gone through a lot during those years. It has gone through an earthquake, several power outages. It has been fixed several times but usually it wouldnt break down usually for several years at a time. It was beige in color. It had a freezer on the top and a nice roomy fridge.

Ive always bought Kenmore refrigerators. Their quality impressed me far more than any other brand. They have been my first choice since I started buying my own appliances. My fridge has side by side doors, which made accessing both the freezer and regular groceries much easier than a top/bottom setup. It has twenty one cubic foot capacity with the ice maker/drink dispenser in the door. However, it was a little too tall for all the space it provided for it in my kitchen. It made it difficult to clean off the top, especially since there was a storage shelf in the space above it.

The Kenmore brand is one I trust more so than others and it has always met our expectations in refrigerators and other types of appliances. It also has better prices. It had ice & water in the door which had filtered water which made it better than using the kitchen sink. But small freezer side, would not do a small side by side. I would make the shelves more easily adjustable and have the temperature easily more adjustable and offer it in more colors.

On 8/8/2011, I purchased a Kenmore Elite refrigerator model 4602 from Sears. In October of 2012, the ice dispenser caused my circuit breaker to trip and the dispenser stopped working. Of course, you may say I should have purchased insurance, but it seems to me it is ridiculous for a $1000+ appliance to stop working after 14 months. I will never again purchase from Sears or recommend them to my associates.

Stay as far away from this product as you can. I paid almost 3000.00 for this French Door refrigerator (Kenmore Elite refrigerator manufactured by LG) only 2.5 years ago. It started out with a weird chemical smell last week which I later learned was Freon. Then everything went from cool to room temp in a day or so and since the warranty is up on it I decided to cut my losses and purchase a new refrigerator. According to other online reviews this is a typical problem with these refrigerators. My trusted repairman wont even work on them. He says they are junk and even if you fix the leak you will be doing it again in 6 mos to a year. I am very disappointed not to mention the fact that I had to shell out another 2000.00 for another refrigerator. Sears, I am done with you.

After buying 3 Kenmore appliances from Sears (recommended by friends) I have had to pay out $300 for repairs to my refrigerator that is barely 3 years old. Is this the quality of the parts used to construct their appliances?? I am now waiting for something else to happen to, unfortunately, the other 2 appliances!! Not happy with Kenmore/Sears and will try to avoid products by that company.

I love my Kenmore refrigerator!! It has all the room I need to store enough food and drinks for a family of four. It keeps my food cold and fresh and the freezer has just as much room to store what I need it to and keeps everything nice and frozen. The built in ice maker is also wonderful, it saves me room in the freezer from having to use ice trays and you always have ice for when you might need it. I dont really use the built in water dispenser because I prefer bottled water, but it can also be convenient to have. Overall I would recommend any model Kenmore refrigerator to anyone that is in the market for a new one. They are a great product and built to last.

Bought a bottom freezer French door fridge from Sears in February. Noticed that it seemed to run almost constantly, and the compressor hums and buzzes so loudly that it is audible in almost every room in the house. Since the unit is under warranty I called the Sears service center. They have our information on file. The first technician I spoke with tried to tell me that the noise is coming from the ice maker. When I didnt agree, she said to lower the temperature in both the fridge and freezer and wait 24 hours. I did that, but the noise persists. I called again.The second technician explained that the noise is likely coming from the water filter because my water pressure is too high. I disagreed, and she suggested I unplug the fridge for two minutes to reset the system, then wait 24 hours for the unit to stabilize. I did that, and the noise persists along with the compressor running almost constantly. Im now told that this sort of noise is normal in todays modern refrigerators and there is no need schedule a service call. Im about at the end of my rope. It may be time to send this sucker back to Sears and get my money back. Avoid Sears at all costs. No wonder theyre failing.

I chose Kenmore mainly for the price point and because I grew up with Kenmore appliances. My first Kenmore refrigerator lasted just 5 years and on credit. It was about time to replace it when it was paid in full. I always felt Kenmore appliances as being constructed very well. It was ergonomic and intuitive as far as space use. Also I found it easy to remove drawers and shelves to clean, and the construction resisted breaking and discoloring. But it was much louder than expected, the freezer temperature was not as easy to regulate. It was harder to move when cleaning behind it. I prefer a wider freezer section or positioned at the bottom.

It is great. It has a lot of capacity and the freezer produces ice quickly. Very resistant to scratches and wear and tear. This fridge is the tank of the refrigerator world. It can hold well over a month’s worth of groceries plus a lot of freezer space for steaks, ice cream, anything you can imagine. This fridge will meet your needs easily. It looks awesome and the finish holds up to scratches and peeling. It still looks new after 5 years of daily use. It will hold up to anything you try and throw at it. It is perfect. It has held up very well. Over the years still works great. It looks like the day I bought it 5 years ago. Its value should increase after such a long time working flawlessly.

The fridge was powerful and long lasting. It lasted many years with little maintenance. Perhaps because it was an inlet model, it wasnt as energy efficient, but that would be my only criticism.

My Kenmore is the best refrigerator Ive ever owned. I bought it at a discount so the price was great. It is every efficient and has tons of room for all the groceries and any pre prepared food my family of five needs. After upgrading my refrigerator, Ive seen a significant difference in my electric bill even though this one has more space. It has an ice machine and water fountain which are a great convenience for kids. Moreover, temperature control is easy to customize. The stainless steel is beautiful and messy fingerprints are easy to clean off. Also, theres lots of room for all my kids artwork. It keeps my kitchen fashionable and stylish.
