We purchased a dishwasher from Sears and it was installed in October of 2014. This dishwasher cost almost $900 dollars and now for the last several months does not clean and the drying section is horrible. It is a Kenmore and was presented as a top of the line product. In calling Sears 800 number is evident that the customer service at Sears does not care. I will never do business with Sears again as their customer service is terrible.

This dishwasher is very small, can fit almost anywhere. But the inside has enough space for a good sink full of dishes for those that like to rinse and go. No need to remove countertops. It can be hooked up under the sink. There arent many buttons, so it is simple and easy to use. Great for set it and forget it. No need to wipe dry, the dishes are spotless when the wash cycle is over. When it was running it was silent unlike most dishwashers, the dishes were clean. The dry time wasnt long. I really like the safety lock during the wash cycle. The value is very worth it, not over priced. Good size inside and out. It comes in white that goes with everything. When having a dinner party people can rinse their dish, leave it in the dishwasher. Turning it on during movie night is no interruption, it is a silent wash.

Came home Thanksgiving night to the immediate smell of burning plastic. Opened the dishwasher to see a flame at the bottom, the entire inside and all components melted, as well as all of my dishes cracked and melted! No recalls on this model and Kenmore/Sears hung up on me when I asked for a manager because they want to charge me $90 for a repair technician to come tell me it cant be fixed! Thank God my husband, kids, and I were not sleeping when this happened.

Performs like a champ. I love this machine. Dont have to pre-wash dishes before use which I love. Makes things easier and for the price it was a steal. Had to resize my spot but once it was done it fit like a champ. Great product. Should of bought one sooner because damn kids wont do the dishes. I definitely would recommend this product because its a great price and power. This machine is awesome. I love my Kenmore. Highly recommend. Great price for what this machine and put out the power alone is awesome. No more pre-wash because it does it for you with no problems at all.

Could never rely on this dishwasher to do the job. It was constantly needing several repairs to eventually break down again. I had to call maintenance repair to my house several times for them to look at the problem. This dishwasher was great in size. I could pack a lot of dishes in and never had an issue with nothing fitting. The size of the dishwasher was one of the main reasons why I purchased it. The dishwashers appearance is beautiful. I got several comments on it whenever I would have company come over to my house. Several people would ask me what model it was. For what I paid for this dishwasher, I wasnt satisfied. It needed way too many repairs and half the time, the maintenance people didnt even know what to do and said I should most likely invest in a new dishwasher.

Great. It was what I needed. Get all the dishes done at once, make the job a lot easier. Always can depend on it when you are behind on your dishes to get the job done. A great way to make sure everything gets done on time: Start it up at night. When you wake up in the morning your dishes will have that fresh clean smell and ready to be used. Its get tough spots undone. Bad and good experience at that same time because the quality was not what I thought it would be. It still got the job done.

The dishwasher leaves my dishes spotless. It combats the heavy grease and food stuck to the pans. Its quiet and easy to clean. I like the fact that is user-friendly and does not require a lot of maintenance to keep it up. The size is perfect. It fits well in my kitchen and does not take up a lot of room. Its worth the buy especially if you dont have a lot of room in your kitchen. My dishwasher is silver with a nice gloss and has smart technology included. It has the self-cleaning option and a timer. You can also manage the temperature and speed during each cycle which make it very convenient. For this type of dishwasher I feel that the price was reasonable. I say this because with all the built-in technology this dishwasher should have cost more.

As long as you use quality detergent then the dishwasher is amazing at getting your dishes shiny and no water marks. I never have an issue with it becoming unbalanced and it has lasted me 10 years so far. The chrome with black handle model that I have of the dishwasher has all the perfect prongs inside so you can fit everything and lots of different sized dishes too! The flat chrome with the black handle makes it look modern but still is cheaper than the all chrome one. It is definitely a happy medium. Again with the mixed black and chrome it makes it cheaper than the all chrome but it works just as well. I love the value of this dishwasher.

We chose it as a suite of appliances from Sears and I liked that it matched the entire set of Kenmore appliances that we purchased from Sears. It was pretty quiet when we ran it, and it was energy efficient. We never had to buy a special high end dish detergent. But I did not like that the dishwasher did not like the hard water that ran through the water lines and it would literally stop working every other month until we ran at least one load empty with just a half gallon of cleaning vinegar through it. Also, it broke after 11 months. The valve broke off one morning mid-cycle and hot water flooded our kitchen and dining room. Kenmore did honor the warranty though and worked through our homeowners insurance.

It was capable of holding all of my dishes, including all of my utensils. It was able to clean everything quite well, and it worked very quietly. It was easy to load, and unload. Nothing complicated. Near the end of its run, it began to have a hard time cleaning all of the dishes. It also did not always clean EVERY dish, and had trouble reaching all of the utensils, sometimes. Kenmore has met my expectations. I chose it because it was easily recognizable and relatively cheap. It also worked very well. Overall, I was quite happy with the product.

I bought a Kenmore Elite refrigerator about 2 years ago and it just died. It took the company 2 weeks to get a repairman to my home. When they did, he told me the refrigerator needed a new motor, fan, and coolant. He said it would cost $1,300.00 to repair. I asked him why it broke after only 2 years. He said he didnt know but that he was fixing them regularly, several a week. Well, after being a loyal customer for many years Sears has refused to help because I didnt buy a warranty! I have bought all of mine as well as my daughters appliances from Sears and never had an issue but its disheartening to find that after all your loyalty, if you do, Sears will not be in your corner. The girl I talked with was actually rude and told me my choices were, I could pay them $1,300 to fix a Refrigerator I just bought, or I could buy a new one, or I could use a cooler for the upcoming summer. She forgot one choice, the one Im taking and that is never shopping with them again, posting negative reviews on social media, and filing complaints with the BBB, CFP and with any other agency I can find.

The size of the dishwasher is very nice, it fit perfectly in my kitchen and you can accommodate a lot of dishes and all kinds of cups. Very pretty simple but great. It had plenty of room for the smaller items but not a ton of room for pizza pie pans. I just had to wash those by hand and leave the rest for the dishwasher. Other than it left a few tough dishes dirty, I never had a problem with this model at all. It lasted quite a while and didnt need much maintenance. The overall value of this piece of equipment was very good. It didnt cost a lot and did the job fairly well. So I was satisfied and glad to save some time.

When I initially started the remodel of my kitchen, I wanted non-generic appliances that looked good and were energy efficient. Its high efficiency feature is why I purchased the dishwasher. I also wanted silver or black, so this is the model I ended up with. Its extremely loud during all cycles. The drain on it breaks every other time I used it and it only works without problems half of the time. That said, I dont use it often as I travel frequently, so Im not terribly concerned. Kenmore was recommended by my condo building maintenance guy. He installed it without giving me other options. I would have gone with a different model, but its good enough for me until I sell my condo.

It fits well in my kitchen, but it doesnt take up too much space, even though it is quite roomy on the inside. I love the color of it - it is black and silver, so it blends in with my other appliances (e.g. my refrigerator). It is quite shiny, too, but not too much of a shine. I would say that the value of the dishwasher is about $350, which is quite a bargain when it comes to dishwashers. This dishwasher is especially useful and high functioning, so it makes it even more of a bargain.

It cleaned very well. The dishwasher gave me no issues. It could clean lightly dirty dishes as well as dishes with very dirty, baked on foods and grease. It was very good. I could fit a day’s worth of dishes into the dishwasher. Keep in mind that I have a household of five. I could clean things like platters, large and small dishes. The value was very easy. The installation was free. It didnt use a lot of water which saved me time and money. Also because I could fit everything in one load, I used less electricity and water.

I thought it was a decent dishwasher. It was reasonably timed and my dishes always came out clean. I didnt have to worry about soap build up with this dishwasher. The size was medium. I was able to fit all my plates on top and most of my pots on the bottom shelf. I liked the silverware holder. I thought it was convenient. I really liked the dishwashers color. It matched the rest of my appliances and the knobs were easy and functional. I thought it would be cool if the color was blue. I feel like I got my money worth the product. Last an average amount of time and I washed a ton of dishes in it plus the color and style was great with a unique little touch.

The Kenmore dishwasher cleans the dishes well. Sometimes I still have to rinse but not too often. Plus, it’s not as loud as my neighbor’s washer. It’s got to be quiet so as not to wake up the kids. I have two children under five years of age so I don’t have the time to be washing stuff by hand or worrying if the washer will get all the dishes clean. Also, I like things to match in my kitchen and I wish they came in more vibrant or unusual colors. I would pay more for a washer if they would come in more interesting colors other than white. I have had my dishwasher for a long time. And it runs perfectly. It is amazing at making all dishes look sparkling clean. And it is big enough to put a whole cupboard of glasses into and still wash completely. I am able to put half of a cupboard of cups on the top rack and still have room for other bowls. And the bottom rack holds big pots and pans. And I also put plates too. I love the size of this dishwasher. I love the appearance of this dishwasher too. Even though its kind of plain. It is a white color and its totally OK to me. I was going to get a stainless steel one but I have little kids in the house and I would be cleaning it all the time. The price of this dishwasher was very good as well. When I wash looking for a dishwasher to buy I didnt have a lot to spend. So I ended up looking at Kenmore and they had very decent priced dishwashers.

This dishwasher is always reliable. It has never had any issues or needed difficult repairs. I highly recommend getting this machine. Very quiet dishwasher. Cleans well and attractive exterior. Solid door, high quality interior. The lower basket area could be bigger to accommodate large plates or pots. However we've figured out how to best load that lower basket area and very satisfied with the unit overall.

When I decided to buy this Kenmore dishwasher, it was because at the time this particular brand and model were for sale and I needed to replace the previous one I had since it stopped working. I liked the size and features. The smartwash really saved me money from the previous model. It gets my dishes clean and dry. However, I would like it to have a sleeker look and the design could be a lot better. It doesnt always get my glasses as shiny as I would like. But its a decent, good appliance.

I used it for around 3 months, and in that time period it did a good enough job. Well I have a family of 5, so usually when I did dishes I had to do 2 loads to fit everything in and get it cleaned. It was compact and it didnt take up too much space. Overall it looked good and even added to the room it was in. I wasnt able to test it enough before I moved, there was a brand new dishwasher at my new house. So I cant say for sure but for what Ive seen Id say it was well worth the money. I initially chose Kenmore for my dishwasher because of the well known quality of the brand and knowing I would be getting a good dishwasher. Most, if not all, of the dishwashers I have owned have been Kenmore. They are excellent at getting the dishes clean. However, the features that I would like improved upon would be to decrease the amount of water left on the dishes after going through a cleaning cycle. Making sure that the dishes come out drier. Overall, Kenmore dishwashers have always been a very reliable and quality brand that has beyond exceeded my expectations.

Bought a dishwasher about 1 yr ago. Worst washer I ever had. If I dont wash the dishes first they dont come out clean and they are never dried. I would never buy another one. I dont know if it has a defect but I cant figure out whats wrong.

My dishwasher was able to hold all of the dishes I needed washed. It was able to get everything cleaned, no matter how tough the food baked on was. The value was on par with what I would expect to pay for the quality of service that it provided. Kenmore was usually my first brand of choice because of their association with the Sears brand name. I love their return and service policies. Very customer friendly and open to suggestions. I loved the top jets as it would blast off all stuck on grime, also the silverware rack was the most convenient location in any dishwasher I used. The automatic soap fill was great. It was built in perfectly so I really had no complaints about any feature of this type of dishwasher. Very hard this day and age to be very happy with a product.

Cycle is long but very thorough. My only complaint is if there is too much liquid then the cycle is paused until you remove excess liquid. It is the perfect size. I really like how there is a sliding drawer on top for silverware. On occasion I will have larger plates I use for serving and/or dinner parties that will be too tall for the bottom door. The dishwashers appearance is very sleek and minimalistic. The only complaint I have is that fingerprints show up easily so it might not be the best in a home with small children. The Kenmore dishwasher appliance was priced at a reasonable amount in relation to its size and function. I did get it on sale though so I dont exactly know what the original retail price was.

Kenmore is one of the best brands that I have ever had the pleasure of owning. I never had a repair issue. I have owned everything from refrigerators, washer and dryers, to dishwashers and microwaves. I would definitely stick with this brand.

It has been running for a really long time without any issues. We use it as an overflow fridge from our main fridge now. It is super spacious and weve never had a problem with it. It holds main dishes but it also holds a lot of leftovers and larger food items. Its pretty but not too big. It just kind of looks like an old fridge. There isnt anything exciting about it. Over the years, the white has gotten really dirty and it looks very dated now. We dont keep it in a main room or entertaining room, just hidden. It has lasted a super long time now so I would recommend it for that reason. Its good.

The performance of my dishwasher was fantastic. It washes clean and doesnt leave any residue behind or soap scum. It washes my dishes fast and gets them clean on the first cycle. You never have to worry about washing them twice because they always come out clean. The size of my dishwasher is great and very big. It fits all my dishes as well as pots and pans in one wash. You can stuff it full and it will still clean your dishes really great. Ive never had any problems with my dishwasher. The appearance of my dishwasher is great. Its ball and it always looks clean no matter what. I just love it because it matches everything I have in my kitchen because black pretty much matches everything and I would recommend this to anyone and everyone. The value of my dishwasher is great because I got a lifetime warranty on mine which means if it ever breaks I get to take it back and get it replaced by a new one. You definitely get what you pay for plus so much more.

Kenmore Dishwasher is a great size. I have a family of five and I always have enough room. I put the pots and plates on the bottom, and the cups and bowls on the top. I dont even have to rinse dishes off before putting in. They come out sparkling every time and it makes doing dishes so much easier. I love the appearance. It is stainless steel just like all the other appliances in my kitchen. And, the price is so worth every penny! You could get a cheaper dishwasher but that is exactly what it will be. Along with cheaper price you will get poor quality and problems. I would definitely recommend this dishwasher to everyone.

After my KitchenAid lasted only five years, this Kenmore Elite has been a lifesaver. In nine years I have not experienced any leaks, food buildup, or any significant issues with cleaning. The top racks hold a variety of glasses, including wine or champagne, small dishes and bowls and coffee pots. The bottom rack is user friendly where I can put a weeks worth of dinner dishes, bowls, and soup bowls. As the KitchenAid runs the noise is very minimal and unobtrusive. I would purchase this model again.

I love Kenmore Appliances! We have owned three Kenmore dishwashers, both of which we purchased. Our first one was for an apartment we were renting in 1979 when our son was born. I wanted one specifically to sterilize bottles. It was roomy and did a good job, but was rather noisy. Our second one was for our first house and replaced another brand. It was quieter and very roomy. The 3rd was even roomier and quieter and had soft touch buttons and a digital display. We try to buy Kenmore appliances whenever possible. The brand is synonymous with quality. They are dependable, stylish and provide great value for the price. Kenmore offers the latest features, and the sales people are unfailingly friendly and extremely knowledgeable and helpful. We have looked at the Kenmore Elite models and when our current KitchenAid (came with the house and was new) gives out, we will replace it with a Kenmore. I like the adjustable racks and would like it if the cycle was even MORE environmentally friendly. I like having options on the length of the cycle and how much water is used. I would also like it if all surfaces in the dishwashers were stainless steel.

This dishwasher had very good reviews from my friends and my family member. They told me about how it does an awesome job and I needed to try it for myself. It was easily accessible and had numerous settings, which I loved! Hard power jet cleaned dishes quickly and easily. The design was sleek and elegant. The only problem I had was with the person installing it. Besides that, I never had any problems out of it. It got the job done and more so!

My Kenmore dishwasher was in the house when we purchased it. It is the best of its kind versus the price. The dishwasher has plenty of room for all of my dirty dishware and silverware to fit. Also, the items came out extremely clean within one washing. It also doesnt require as much dish soap to clean. The dishwasher did produce hot dishes immediately after the cycle would finish. There was no cool down feature. But thats not a major issue.

This dishwasher was already in a home I bought and when I saw it was a Kenmore I was skeptical. Much to my surprise, its the best dishwasher Ive ever had and Im 64 years old. It has 5 cycles and 5 options but the normal wash with heat dry is all Ive ever needed. It gets everything sparkling clean. The interior is stainless which I had never had before but its easy to wipe clean. The outside is sleek and unobtrusive. The controls are easy to see. Its practically silent. I have always purchased Kenmore items. I like the customer service, they are very good. The expectations for this machine were very high. I would give it about a 75% overall success. I like the color of the stainless steel. It was also a very fast machine, clean dishes very well, didnt leave any soap on the plates or on the glasses. Very impressed. However, the buyers guide was very hard to read. Theres also a few things I dislike about the dishwasher. It took a long time to finish and it was very loud and could not put very much dishes in it.

It cleaned well enough but dishes were never dry coming out and it smelled musty. I think dishwashers use more water than necessary and it is faster to wash by hand. Not large enough to wash everything form a large meal or if having company over. Okay for the day to day dinners prepared at home. Had to be careful with plastic and rubber utensils as if they ended up too close to the bottom they would melt. I did not like the vents on the front of the dishwasher. Would have looked better if the vent would have been placed somewhere more visually pleasing. I was not fond of the white either. Little hands and white equals dirty! Worked well when I did not want to do dishes by hand but after awhile I just did them by hand to save water, electricity and not hassle with pre-rinsing the dishes before they got washed.

I bought it on sale so the price point beat expects in terms of performance. A much better value than my previous GE model which I had very many issues with. It fits nicely with my other appliances. I love it and the stainless steel cleans easy. Wish it was smudge proof but I really cant complain as it works so well. Compact size left me with more under counter storage which was a selling point for me. Its very easy to use, cost-effective, quiet, cleans well, with little pre-treating. I would recommend to anyone looking for a quality dishwasher.

Runs super quiet. Has several cycle options for whatever your cleaning needs are. Built solid. Superb quality for the money spent. I would highly recommend this product if you are considering a new dishwasher. The size is perfect for my familys needs. Four people go through a lot of dishes. Usually runs once a day. Plenty of room for all our cleaning needs. I love the black. It goes well with my kitchens decor. Easy to clean and attractive. When we visited the store and saw the floor model it stood out very easily against some of the other models. It was an easy sell and we are very pleased. I cant say enough about the value for the money spent. We got a great deal on this unit and the store had several in stock. I have never regretted making this purchase. Money well spent on an investment.

I chose Kenmore dishwasher based on reviews, features, looks, and price. I didnt want the cheapest dishwasher but one budget friendly but still a good brand. It also seemed like it was highly rated. The Kenmore dishwasher gets the dishes very clean. Its easy to use and quiet. Love the ease of the buttons and the racks that are in the dishwasher fit a lot of dishes. Also fits bigger pans and pots on the bottom rack. However, food chunks always seemed to linger at the bottom of the dishwasher for a while so it would be nice if there was a way to avoid that. Also, the heating elements in dishwashers are annoying because they melt things so it would be cool to find a way around that.

DO NOT BUY A KENMORE REFRIGERATOR. Have washer, dryer dishwasher, theyre fine. This piece of garbage ruined $300 of food. Took 5 days for repair appt. then told addl 8 days for part. My dishwasher performs great when it needs to wash my dishes, but sometimes it wont leave a good shine on glasses or damage something with a printed pattern. It really hurts me when one of my favorite glasses gets ruined. I usually dont have many dishes to wash, so a small, compact size like the one my dishwasher has meets my needs rather well. It also doesnt take up much space in my house, since I dont have a very big kitchen that I can do things in. Its appearance blends in rather well with the rest of my kitchen because everything in it is the same color, from the refrigerator to the counter tops. It doesnt really matter to me what it looks like though, just that it gets the job done. I paid a pretty good price for my dishwasher when I got it and it hasnt let me down yet. Its been running like new for years and hasnt needed any major repairs for as long as Ive had it. I like to think that is a pretty good value for my money.

Happy dishwasher. No problems.. lt is very quiet and washes and dries well. Bought stainless model with no fingerprint finish. It has been easy to keep looking good. Was not happy with salesman as he didn't seem to know they had fingerprint free dishwashers. Only discovered by reading the literature.

Performance is high function and relatively easy to perform at its best. Every glass and dishware I have put in comes out sparkly clean. The size of dishwasher is amazing. I can nearly fit whatever dishes I have used at dinner. The most surprising event was in thanksgiving I was able to fit all the plates in this washer and still is effective. I am happy about the appearance of my dishwasher. It looks plain. Nothing extraordinary but the effect it has on my dishes is AMAZING. It looks like silver clear reflection. The dishwasher is on the more expensive side. I am satisfied with the value I bought it for. If the product dishwasher wasnt as effective as it seems I would not bought it for its price.

It washed the dishes very well. I never had a dirty plate again! Its quiet. I would never use another brand again. Kenmore has the best dishwashers ever. It fit into the space well and I had no issues with the size at all. I tell people about this dishwasher all the time and how helpful it is when I dont want to wash stuff by hand. Its white color matches the kitchen well and went with all the other appliances I have. Im not one for stainless steel so white fit perfectly. This dishwasher is good; however, the dishes need to be pre-washed because they dont come clean if they have a lot of food still on them. It fits some of my dirty dishes but for a regular size family that eats meals at a home, the dishwasher needs to be a little larger. It is plain white which blends in with everything well and has a nice look and feel to the buttons, though I wish it looked a little more professional. Its mid-level and needs to be a little bit less; however, for the cost, it is a decent dishwasher that does get the dishes clean and does its job.

Before buying this dishwasher, I was going to buy a Bosch thinking that it was a top performer. Smart Wash, 1 hour wash, Pots & Pans, 4 hr delay, High Temp This dishwasher is laid out very efficiently and holds dishes from a dinner party of 10 easily. Simple and sleek. I have black. Clean out the filter periodically (easy). This is a no-rinse dishwasher, but I like to keep any potential smells at bay. Also love the configuration of the easy moving racks. Set up is great--I love to cook and this is a great kitchen tool that gets a lot of use.

Cleans deep down stuck on dirt and odors. Super fast washing and drying. It never leaves a spot. I remember my grandmother always having one in her home so it makes me feel connected. Plenty of space for large pots, skillets, casseroles and pans. I can usually fit my wash load in the machine. There are nifty shelves, basket and shape overall. I can fit many large items into the dishwasher. The dishwasher is sleek, modern, shiny and up to date. I love the beautiful black color and digital face. Easy to clean and resists scratching. I dont have to really clean the dishwasher much. Fantastic smooth feel to it also. I am completely happy with the price paid for my dishwasher. I love this brand! Their products are precise, beautifully designed, and very modern to fit with any decor. The performance is amazing. It cleaned OK at beginning for a few months then the heating element quit working and also after awhile didnt clean well. We were disappointed in it. It fit my needs as far as size very much. I really like the inside the way it was setup. I could get a days worth of dishes in it very easily. I really wished it cleaned better. The appearance was great inside and out until it got where it didnt clean my dishes very well. Got grungy looking inside. Stained inside and would not clean. Smelled also. The perceived value was very poor. Ive never had an appliance be so bad. We definitely got a lemon when we bought it. Im afraid to buy the brand again as far as a dishwasher.

Our old dishwasher stopped working one day and we had to replace it. We bought a Kenmore because we love the brand. It works 10 times better than our old one and I have no complaints at all. The dishwasher is fine for our family of four adults. We can get two to three days between loads but at holiday times we often must load and run twice for an extended family meal. I can no longer use the rinse aid feature. Does a poor job cleaning. It has great features, but they dont work anymore. Stopped working in less than a year. Totally adequate. Looks fine. Just doesnt work all that well. It was great when it worked. Made a big difference in the way dishes looked and its been very disappointing ever since.

The power wash feature proves that this dishwasher is a great appliance. I dont have to pre-wash stuck on food and greasy residue. When I pull the dishes from the dishwasher, they come out sparkling clean. Also, the dishwasher is extremely quiet to operate and uses very little water and electricity. Although we are empty nesters, we do have parties around the holidays and the dishwasher can be tested with the amount of plates and cups requiring cleansing. It has come through every time. The stainless steel is awesome and I would never go back to painted appliances. It is so easy to clean with a little polish and when its clean it shines so much. I love it! Thought I was getting a good product. Have bought Kenmore Elite in the past. Paid $2500 for refrigerator in Nov 2016. Less than 2 years later, the fridge is warm. Same story as others. Sears cant come out for 2 weeks. Had another company come out next day and they confirmed the freon was gone. Apparently there is a leak in a sealed unit? Compressor was hot and coils were not. Cant complain to anyone because call center is offshore and they do not understand. I called customer service and they said they would have to transfer me. This happened 4 times before I couldnt take it anymore and hung up. You cant get to Kenmore Corporate. All contact info is pointed to Sears. Is there a class action lawsuit I can join? I have appointment scheduled for them to come out in 2 weeks, but Im afraid they will say it will be $1k or more to fix it. Less than 2 years old. I shouldnt have to fix it. The tech that came out told me my Kenmore is made up of LG parts. If I wanted an LG I would of bought that brand? Why do they do that? Oh and my Kenmore dishwasher crapped the bed a few short months ago too! I replaced it with a Bosch. I will NEVER spend another dime at Sears or on a Kenmore appliance again!

It worked really well. It got all the things clean that we needed. It worked exactly the way I needed it to work. It worked smooth, very reliable, nice model. It is a very nice size. Big enough to fit 20+ dishes of any kind in it. Very lovely dishwasher. It has all the tools I need to get my dishes done. Works great. Its black, very big, has silver bars. Has a silver back to it. The inside that holds the dishes is white. Very clean inside. Bottom of the dishwasher is silver as well. Mostly black but has some silver and white. The perceived value of the dishwasher is to wash the dishes to the best of its ability. It gets every little of stains out of each dish. It makes sure your dishes are the cleanest they can be.

We purchased the Kenmore dishwasher with our Best Buy credit card so we are paying a pretty high interest rate! But it is definitely worth every penny! It cleans great, and is very quiet. I love the sections. I am crazy about where everything goes in the dishwasher it is very easy to keep everything organized. It is very big on the inside. In the old dishwasher, I would have to do separate loads after a larger family dinner, not with this one, everything fits and gets clean! I love the stainless steel, and the look itself is classy, not bulky and would fit well in any kitchen! The buttons are also not big and bulky so my kids cant play with them either.

The model I have, I bought in 2011. Its been almost flawless in performance. The only issues have occurred when something needed more thorough scrubbing afterwards. My model is an HE one. All stainless steel walls interior. From the top down, there is an attached basket in the back for long or small items. There are two flip down racks attached to the front sides for more small items or long ones. Prong sections in the rack itself can be folded down for odd shaped things. There is a washing arm under the top rack so everything on the top rack gets well cleaned. The top rack adjusts up and down for taller items above or below. The bottom rack has a removable knife rack on the left side. The removable silverware basket, I have it on the right side, is divided into 5 sections with divided lids that can be folded up or down to separate utensils. There are jets on the back wall for the pot scrubbing feature, which can add when choosing cycles. Theres a removable filter basket in the bottom. There are lots of cycles to choose from, all of which Ive tried at one time or another and all work well, including a one hour wash, a sanitizing wash, a top rack only wash, etc. The machine is very well insulated so its super quiet. I can barely hear it running, which I really appreciate, as my bedroom is directly above the kitchen. Theres even a delay wash option, so it can run after I go to sleep. The door can be left open at a variety of different angles without it falling down or shutting. This is great for letting it air out, as I dont use the drying cycle. I live in a dry climate so allow the dishes to air dry by opening the door all the way and pulling the racks out. It is a standard sized washer, meaning it fit in the same location as my old unit. However, it is larger inside than my old unit, so I can put taller items inside. I chose a brushed stainless exterior to match my fridge. This has not been so wonderful though. It shows stains that I cant seem to get out. Something must have spilled on the exterior at one point that etched into the finish. When polished with a stainless steel cleanser, it looks great, but within a day, the stain reappears. The cycles panel is on the top of the door, so its almost completely hidden from view when the door is fully closed. There are 3 led lights on the front, just above the handle, though Ive only seen two of them lit - red for when its running and blue when it finished. Ive no idea what the middle light color is or what it means. When I chose this model, I had a choice of handles. I chose a rounded one for hanging towels on and if I bump into it, it doesnt hurt so much. This was an expensive home appliance, being just under $1000 (originally $1400). I got it on clearance when Sears closed out their big home stores. At one point, just four days after the warranty had expired, the washers computer control panel stopped working. I looked on YouTube and found the fix, which saved me a $90 service call, and took less than 5 minutes to do.After having read how many others have encountered this same issue, I think the control panels are preset to fail (and most just after the warranty expires), to force people into making an expensive service call, because it takes less than 5 minutes to fix it. And once its done, it hasnt reoccurred, at least not for me, and its been over a year now that I fixed it. It would be easy enough to program that error to happen at a specific time, by either the manufacturer or a salesperson with the programming instructions. I always try to repair, or replace, things myself, to save the exorbitant cost repair services charge these days.

Perfect Performance. Runs Smooth and fast and on it own pace. I figured out that the more constant you are with the machine the better it runs for you. Cleans better and better and gets smarter and smarter like, it learns your dishes. Size is Important but it the basics size of a Dishwasher so it fits the room of a modern house but has the room and Engineering constructed to fit double the dishes. Futuristic. Who doesnt want A washer that has an Auto Washing system that treats your dishes like, luxurious glass. The Smartwash is Important meaning the Value is worth the Price. No complaints and never had a Problem and Still have an active warranty.

I like the power spray. It always cleans the dishes the best without any dirty spots on the dishes. Also everything smells fresh all the time. The time spent washing is very short which is great. I wish it would use less water to save as much as possible. The dishes always come out really hot which can burn you if not careful. I like the Kenmore brand because it is the most trustworthy brand. I own many different appliances by Kenmore so it was an easy choice to make. Kenmore always has great customer service too.

I am an owner of the Kenmore Elite dishwasher that I have bought in 2004 (8 years ago) from Sears Canada (model 666.16462300; SER FR1509082). Ive been told that the dishwasher was made by Whirlpool. It has been a good dishwasher aside that the door was noisy. Last night when I turned it on there was a black smoke with smell of burned rubber and flames coming out from the top of the door and one can see sparks behind the buttons as well. I just want owners of the same dishwasher be aware of the potential fire hazard. If we weren’t home when it happened, we could have lost our house. Multiple times I have tried to contact both Sears and Whirlpool to file a complaint and to ensure a follow up, but nobody is interested to come and look at the dishwasher to establish what the issue was unless Im willing to pay for it. I dont care about repairing the old one. I just want my dishwasher incident investigated for safety of other consumers.

I like that it washed and cleans and dries our dishes greatly and efficiently. It is good, amazing, awesome, cool, fun and exciting to have and to hold for all time to come. This company has met our expectations in every way and in every way I like our dishwasher. It is fantastic.

The value of my dishwasher now that I have had it a few years is priceless. If I had known what I was getting and how good it was (YES), I would have paid a lot more for it. I have had other dishwashers and to me they was all the same until I got this one. They are not the same.

I own black stainless steel appliances and I wanted a medium-sized dishwasher with LED lights not a knob-turning older, cheap-looking appliance. This one looks beautiful, black and fits in with the high-quality look of my kitchen without taking up too much cabinet space and affordable.

I bought this dishwasher about 3 years ago and this is the first dishwasher I have that never had a problem with it breaking or malfunction. It was on the smaller side but I could usually get all of my dishes in one cycle compared to my last washer. It had more room for dishes and less aesthetics to make it wider and to up less space. It was simple but easy on the eyes, it didnt need a lot of aesthetics like most dishwashers to make it look cluttered. I would recommend this dishwasher to anyone that need something simple but nice-looking and gets the job done. For the price, this is a large and reliable dishwasher that I have. Never had a problem with this washer unlike all the other brands that I had that broke in the first 6 months.

Kenmore is a great company. They always make the best products and this dishwasher is one of them. Ive owned it for approximately five years. It has a good value and its average size is perfect for our family and most homes. It is not too big or too small. The dishwashers appearance is very nice. Nothing too fancy, but attractive. It performed very well, runs smooth, gets your dishes clean, and is relatively quiet. The controls are easy to start and stop and has a good design for an excellent price. It also never needed any repairs while we had it.

It actually removed dried and baked on food! It was quiet and easy to operate. I would definitely look for a similar model when upgrading. It is affordable for us and we love it. Even my 13 year old son uses it. The size was appropriate we for the space that we had in our kitchen set aside for the dishwasher. It fit snugly and perfectly. There are no gaps worth mentioning and it is beautiful, at that. The stainless steel matched the decor theme in our kitchen and the design is sleek and elegant. Its easy to clean and maintain and the finish is flawless. I cannot remember what we paid for it but to me I would pay it again. It has been worth every penny for the ease and beauty it brings to our kitchen and lives.

I purchased a Kenmore Elite dishwasher with an extended warranty, and was installed on 6/27/11. It stopped working, so I called the service to request an appointment on 9/2/2011, but no one showed up or called. On 9/12/11, I requested another appointment, again, no one called/showed up. I asked to speak with a manager and was put on hold for 45 minutes, to no avail. We have scheduled another appointment, but I realized that they are totally unreliable. I may have to go outside for repair, and bill Sears. The dishwasher is less than 3 months old. Our previous washer (not a Sears), lasted over 18 years without any problem!

The performance is great. It has different settings so you can wash longer or shorter time periods and my dishes come out clean, thats the most important thing. I like the size of our dishwasher. It is big enough for a pretty big load of dishes but its compact enough to fit in an average kitchen space. I do like the appearance of our dishwasher. Ours is all black so it looks sleek, and especially with the other black appliances that we have. Im happy with the value of our dishwasher. We actually got it at a pretty good deal, I think. And for what it cost I would have to say that its doing a very good job.

It could have higher power cleaning tools. It always left spots but I use jet dry. Hopefully its better at cleaning my dishes but I love how the dishwasher lasted so long after so much usage and I will always think Kenmore. Its not too bad of a size. Fits in any normal counter space with safe precautions door and helpful weight. Very manageable big.I love Kenmore. I will always shop them for my appliance needs. Dishwashers are my helpers. I love dishwashers. They are so pretty in style for the newer ones but they have always matched any kitchen appliance. I love a matching set of everything Kenmore. Cheap enough. Although some old ones still get pretty dull but still will always work. Never had a leak that couldnt be fixed. I cant wait to buy more Kenmore appliances cause Im so excited. I love them all very much.
