The dishwasher doesnt drain well and the settings are constantly resetting themselves. After using it for 2 years this dishwasher needs to be replaced because it does not work well at all. It is small to mid-size in my opinion. I think it should be bigger and hold more dishes. Sometimes I feel like I am having to cram dishes in there to make them fit and then they dont come very clean. The color matches well in my kitchen. The dishwasher is white and my cabinets are also. The digital buttons on the front are nice also. I did not purchase this myself so I am not sure what the price is. But I think in the beginning the value wasnt bad. But for it to not hold up well two years later that takes away from the value.

It is a very good dishwasher! It does the job well without pre-washing anything. It is the best dishwasher I have ever used and owned! I would definitely buy another Kenmore dishwasher if I had to. Honestly, I wish it would hold more dishes and bigger pots and pans. For an average meal, I can usually run one load and that will be it. Just so with big dinners, get-togethers or parties, I usually have to run it two or three times to have everything cleaned. I rather have a stainless steel one, but the white is ok. With kids and pets it is a constant thing of having to wipe down and keep clean. But it gets the job done and done right the first time! I could not be any happier with the price! It was not the cheapest nor the most expensive, but very pleased with the price and would definitely pay the same again, if need be.

I researched online about many different brands and I chose to go with Kenmore. I heard that Kenmore was a good brand and I read a lot of good reviews. I love having a dishwasher. It cleans my dishes pretty well and saves a lot of time. It is very easy to use and quick going through the cycle. I love not having to hand wash dishes. However, I wish that the dishes were easier to load, cleaner and have less grit on them when they are done going through the cycle.

Kenmore is a well known, affordable brand. I felt that I would get a sturdy machine and the best value for my money. I live in an apartment and its just me so I didnt need anything heavy duty. My dishes are always cleaned wonderfully as long as I pre-rinse and remove most of the food from the dishes beforehand. The drying cycle works better than the last whirlpool I had also. But, I wish the pressure was a bit more, although Im not sure if that is an issue with my water or not. The drying cycle dries everything perfectly except for plastic items. I would have also planned the silverware holder to be a bit more sturdy.

Im satisfied with the appearance of this dishwasher although this dishwasher looks like your standard dishwasher. The color and finish are acceptable. The dial does not stand out in a bad way. This dishwasher has plenty of room for all types of dishes, from plates and bowls to mixing bowls to pots and pans to silverware to cups and mugs. I dont have a problem fitting in all my dishes. It does exactly what a dishwasher should: cleans dishes without pre-washing. Its efficient, not too loud, and easy to use. This specific dishwasher is a good value when compared to all dishwashers. It isnt ridiculously expensive, but its also not cheap or poorly made. I would recommend this dishwasher and If youre in the market for a dishwasher, this is a good value for your money.

Not powerful at cleaning. It would generally leave food residue on plates and glass ware. Only lasted two years before it needed to be replaced. The dishwasher size was pretty good. It had enough rack space and the silverware area was respectable to hold all the necessary items. I think little bit more of an adjustment wouldve been an order so that you could get longer or should say taller items in the dishwasher. The parents of the dishwasher fit nicely into my kitchen, match the rest of my appliances and I thought that it function appropriately with the Decor. I thought the price was a little high for the quality. After I was using it for a while I figured that the price I was paying for it and from what I was told by the salesman that would be a good dishwasher but unfortunately it turned out not to be that way for the price.

This dishwasher runs fairly quiet. It is a great value for the money. The settings are easy to operate and can be operated by my preteen. The wash cycles remove food without major pre-rinsing. The capacity is above average. It has plenty of space for dishes, pots, and pans. It also has what I consider a sufficient compartment for silverware. It is a very sleek model. It has a very clean and modern look. I have the stainless steel and I am extremely pleased with its top dollar appearance. It looked very similar to a Bosch model but was significantly cheaper. It was a great value for all the features it includes. You definitely get maximum rewritten for your investment. And Kenmore is a brand I trust.

It is okay. Pressure is good. The food filter is difficult to clean which is frustrating. Was super easy to replace and hook back up to the disposal. Strongly dislike the silverware tray. Wish there was something to hold down the dishes. Theyre fly everywhere and end up full of dirty water often and need rewashing. Cannot fit enough dishes inside, and definitely cannot fit larger pots and some pans with a standard load. A family of 4 (2 of which are 6 and under and do not use standard size plates is more than its capacity and we have to do 2 plus loads for dinner alone most days. It looks fine. It matches our other appliances. The handle opener thingies at the top makes it hard to clean around/under and I dont like that at all. I dont think it portrays value like the Bosch design where you know people spent way more for it but its worth it because its a Bosch. This is one you get on sale at Walmart & Target and are just glad it works.

Also, the items came out extremely clean within one washing. It also doesnt require as much dish soap to clean. The dishwasher did produce hot dishes immediately after the cycle would finish. There was no cool down feature. But thats not a major issue.

Great. It was what I needed. Get all the dishes done at once, make the job a lot easier. Always can depend on it when you are behind on your dishes to get the job done. A great way to make sure everything gets done on time: Start it up at night. When you wake up in the morning your dishes will have that fresh clean smell and ready to be used. Its get tough spots undone. Bad and good experience at that same time because the quality was not what I thought it would be. It still got the job done.

My overall experience with it was okay, but after a little over a year, it started leaking water everywhere. Thankfully it was still under warranty then, but still would not expect something to go wrong with it for just a year’s worth of use. It was big enough to fit all of our needs just fine, and we have a family of four. Never had an issue with the space with it at all. Overall, the outside of the unit is very nice, because I got the stainless steel one to match all of my other appliances in the house. Inside, it looks like any other dishwasher. The value was alright, not a real big deal and not a real big price either. But overall, I would say that it was okay for what I had to pay for it.

We bought this Kenmore Elite Ultraclean Dishwasher 665.1278 Model for 900.00 dollars back in July of 2014. After one year of use the heating element in the door panel went out. When we called out a service repairman he told us this was one of two of the most expensive parts to replace and that these parts wear out quickly. We went ahead and paid for the repair that ended up costing us over 200.00, then decided to buy a one year warranty just in case. By the time the one year warranty was up the same door panel heating element went out along with some type of gear in the door panel. I cant believe we paid 900.00 for what was supposed to be the best of the best of Kenmore dishwashers back then only to have it break down on a yearly occurrence. I would not recommend this dishwasher. This has left such a bad taste in our mouths that we are not going to buy Kenmore in the future for ANY appliance. Period.

It has met the expectations of what I need to get done. It has adjustable racks and power wave technology to get the dishes 80% cleaner. It is a much quieter dishwasher than most, on 50 decibels. It also has 12 place settings room. It is an efficient machine and I enjoy having it. I like the dishwasher but would have liked it better in black. I do not like the stainless steel background. To me it uses a lot, and I mean a lot of water. It takes too long to wash a load after dinner and drying them after washing them takes a while.

It got the dishes clean enough, but sometimes required a little extra hand wash on some it couldnt get. Aside from that, it was a great performing dishwasher and I had no other complaints. The dishwasher could fit normal dinner dishes; i.e plates, bowls, cups, etc. very well. However, when it comes to pots and pans, this dishwasher would not be my number one choice. The dishwasher had a very nice, smooth, and shiny exterior surface. It did not scratch too easily. When you open up the dishwasher, the racks have a nice color that matches the rest of the dishwasher. For the amount I paid for this dishwasher, it definitely did enough. I got plenty of bang for my buck, as you hip young fellas say nowadays.

Most of my appliances are Kenmore brand. I purchased over 18 years ago and they are still working ok. The Kenmore dishwasher is the only one I would not recommend. Kenmore has been a great appliance brand for me.

I have to say I am more than disappointed with your product. I had all G.E appliances and had so many problems with them, that I changed them all out to Kenmore. Sept 2016, I purchased a dishwasher. Service call to put in was 4 months later (I had some construction going on). It seemed beautiful, quiet, and really cleaned the dishes until about a year later, it cleaned less and wasnt really sure if it was working properly. It continued to get worse and I called SEARS to service it with the protection plan I purchased. I was told it was the sum motor and would be over $500 to fix. The service man said do you hear this sound, it sounds like it’s trying to start (like a swishy sound), and I said yes, it always sounded that way. He said it could have been a defect. In getting ready to contract it to be fixed, SEARS argues there was no plan; however it states it on my receipt (Dishwasher Order #9-------) Sears Protection Agreement (purchased separately). Stuck with BROKEN DISHWASHER!

I like that it really cleans all of my dishes and not just partially like most dishwashers I have used before in my life. It also lets me control the speed which is nice because you want to have some control over how fast it goes. I really liked what this brand had to offer as far as features and just overall capability. It is something I could see myself using for the next 10 years and getting the best quality out of it. But I would like if it could fit more dishes. I also would like if it was stainless steel at a cheaper price than what you would have to spend for that feature.

My Kenmore dishwasher has done an excellent job cleaning dishes but was a little louder than I anticipated. Im not talking about having to shout over it. Just a little loud motor. The storage space of the dishwasher is great and allows for ample quality of wash. I was able to almost all my dish sizes in the appliance. My Crock-pot was the only problem I had fitting in the appliance but with a little push I fit it on the bottom rack. Dishwasher allows for many different washing options and wash cycles worked well when used. Had problems with opening and closing it and it wouldnt latch very well when closed but dishwasher is easy enough to use. I like the color of the dishwasher and inside color goes well with outside color. I also like that buttons are not noticeable. The handle is also very appealing to the eye. Had machine for some time now and its value is great.

Reliability is great and its easy to use. Its simple design allows for my children to use it. It performed well without any major issues. The size is ok for a smaller family. However, I would like it a little larger so I dont have to wash dishes as often so I can conserve water. It doesnt fit much inside so I am finding that I have to wash dishes more frequently which wastes water and ends up costing me more in dish washing detergent. Its simple to operate and it saves on energy and cleans efficiently and is durable... There is little to no mess after you take your dishes out and it also is efficient with the use of cleaning agents. It doesnt make my kitchen look cluttered and also all of the wires and tubes for the water are hidden out of sight to make for a more safe area without having to worry about tipping over anything. The appearance of it I think has a very modern and sheen look... I chose it because it pretty much matches my other appliances... I would definitely recommend this product to others. I think I got a great value for the money I paid for it. There are many expensive brands as well as the one I have but its well worth the money.

The Kenmore dishwasher is an awesome dishwasher. Even if you put the dishes in there dirty, they still would come out clean and believe me we put some of the dishes in there pretty dirty. My dishwasher performs great when it needs to wash my dishes, but sometimes it wont leave a good shine on glasses or damage something with a printed pattern. It really hurts me when one of my favorite glasses gets ruined. I usually dont have many dishes to wash, so a small, compact size like the one my dishwasher has meets my needs rather well. It also doesnt take up much space in my house, since I dont have a very big kitchen that I can do things in. We purchased the Kenmore dishwasher with our Best Buy credit card so we are paying a pretty high interest rate! But it is definitely worth every penny! It cleans great, and is very quiet. I love the sections. I am crazy about where everything goes in the dishwasher it is very easy to keep everything organized. It is very big on the inside. In the old dishwasher, I would have to do separate loads after a larger family dinner, not with this one, everything fits and gets clean! I love the stainless steel, and the look itself is classy, not bulky and would fit well in any kitchen! The buttons are also not big and bulky so my kids cant play with them either.

We have a 5 yr. old Kenmore Dishwasher that slowly leaked from the seal of the motor/pump assembly. We couldnt see any evidence of this until it had been leaking for some time as laid out by the forensic inspector from the insurance company. The dishwasher did about $30,000 in damage that our homeowners insurance wont cover. We have Sears Home Warranty that says it is secondary. We are hoping someone else has had success getting this covered. Our repair person said it is common with this model. How do I find anything in writing that speaks to this from the corporation?

I really like this type of dishwasher. It is not loud as other dishwashers and it is done in a timely manner. It is a very good dishwasher. I would like a dishwasher that doesnt take as long to do the dishes. But most of all, I like the durability. That is really important.

You can load a lot of dishes into my Kenmore dishwasher. It accommodates large pots, pans and dishes. You can position the dishes accordingly to make sure all of your items fit and can be accommodated. My Kenmore dishwasher is very appealing to the eye. I selected one that was white so it would blend in well with the rest of my kitchen. White is a neutral color that can match almost anything. I purchased my Kenmore dishwasher while it was on sale. I saved several hundred dollars on it. I got such a great deal and it has paid for itself several times. I also received free delivery with my purchase.

It was a good dishwasher. Always worked. Used a good, white cheap detergent. It was a good to use. Went by quick. Dishes sparkled to use the jobs to do the dishes. It was a nice white, clean color. Looked very nice. It was a very nice size. Fit perfect. Runs well. Good looking machine. Cant do the right thing. Holds 30 plates 40 cups 100 silverpieces. Perfect location. Good sink. Total detergent, nice glasses. It was around 600 dollars. Nice height and width. Good quality merchandise. It was an easy set up. Worked well to use. Held plenty of dishes and glasses. Did the trick in a timely manner.

Model 665.1396 Although this dishwasher cleaned very well and is super quiet, the first year the something needed to be replaced under warranty. The second, a part of the rack dry rotted and I bought the part on eBay for $25 and fixed it. The third year, the thermocouple went and again I replaced it myself. $50. This is the fourth year weve had this and the control panel wont light and looks like it is one of two $130 parts. I give up and will be looking for a new dishwasher. I wont cry when Sears goes out of business. Raise your quality manufacturing standards and stand behind your products. So obvious, I dont know what CEOs get paid for.

I needed to find a dishwasher that matched with the rest of my kitchen and this one was perfect. I love the design and the functionality of this dishwasher. Also, I have a large family so the size of a dishwasher is very important to us. We want to have something that can fit all of our dishes in as well as cleans it very well. This dishwasher is the best choice for us and we could not have made a better decision. This dishwasher works very well. Ive had it for a few years and it still works like new. I use this dishwasher at least 2 times a day with my large family and it has never given me any problems. Overall, the value of this dishwasher is it is 100 percent worth everything that it costs. It works hard at a low cost. Cleans spot free, besides dishes and silverware also to my surprise it cleans pots and pans great. Low energy. Its a dream. Size is perfect for me and when my girls over. A lot of times we have several couples over for cook outs or dinners and it gets loaded even more and it operates the same way. This dishwasher has served me and my family well for 2 years and it still has room in the tank left to be the most efficient dishwasher you can have. The holding space is amazing and its good for those very big dinners. I mostly pile on my large objects on top of the smaller one so that everything will be clean. The dishwasher has a neutral color to it. Great for home projects that dont need much color or depth into it. The holding space is whitish/grayish look as well. It has saved me a pretty penny whenever the soap is running over. Power/Cost efficient so you dont have to worry about your bill rising.

Kenmore brand has long been a favorite of mine. This dishwasher, 18 months old now, is perfect for my needs. Under the counter installation. Stainless steel exterior. Looks good, performs well, quiet operation. Dont recall the price I paid, but I am frugal, so it was not high-end.

Did the job and never had any maintenance performed while living at the address. Consistent with other Kenmore appliances. Very reliable. Standard capacity accommodates the average kitchen utensils. No problems fitting in pots and pans. Top shelf held dishes, bowls and glasses. Plain front standard white. Easy to clean and did not stain. User controls were tilted at an angle towards the user. The drain was easy to clear when needed. Better value than an entry level washer. It did perform at a reasonable volume while also cleaning the dishes. Had no issues with dishes coming out dirty.

When it is running you can barely hear it (very quiet.) It is 4 years old. Never and never had a problem with it. It cleans very well and is It is well worth the money I paid for it. Sears named it correctly ELITE. I would recommend buying the Kenmore Elite stainless steel dishwasher.

This dishwasher cleans really caked on dishes, pots, and pans without rinsing them first. It saves on water, but it has a sprayer nozzle that really does the job the first time! It has a bottom and a top rack that seem rather wider than my replaced one. Also, each rack is long enough for you to place dishes for up to 6 people. On the bottom there is ample space for pots and pans and a big silverware tray. I chose the stainless steel look because I love the shine of it when I clean the front. It fit perfectly in the space that we had our old dishwasher without any problems. Once I used it the first time I knew we had chose the best dishwasher, because it is very energy-efficient and does not use a whole lot of unnecessary water. The spray nozzle is the benefit of using less water because it is so powerful and it cleans everything spotless.

Typical dishwasher, nothing fancy. Pretty noisy, pot setting takes a long time to wash but cleans unrinsed dishes very good. This dishwasher is average, nothing fancy here, washes dishes fine. Just too noisy. Sears service is going downhill. They dont listen to what your problem is, and you first have to talk to their voice mail instead of a real person, and even then youre lucky if they can understand what youre saying and vice versa. Wouldnt recommend Sears to anyone.

It cleaned the dishes amazingly. I have never seen my dishes so clean. The process was quick and efficient. I highly recommend this dishwasher if you want your dishes clean. It is an alright size but it could fit most of my dishes but some I had to wait to do them separate. This shouldnt stop you from getting it. So what if it doesnt fit all of the dishes, it fits most. Though the performance is great the design was slacking big time. It could look so much better but dont judge a book by its cover. The appearance shouldnt throw you off too much. The price was so worth it. You might think its a little too much but the value for the performance is great. I know, I usually have a problem with prices but this my only exception.

This dishwasher had never ever failed to clean even the cruddiest dishes I would feed it, very impressive performer. I wouldnt hesitate to buy this machine again based on its awesome performance capabilities. My family always creates a ton of dirty dishes everyday and this machine was more than enough to always accommodate all the dishes from the day and then some. This dishwasher was and still is one of the best looking that has ever been offered. I think this dishwasher provides the most value ever provided by a dishwasher.

Cleans the dishes as good as the high dollar washer without the price. I bought Home Cheapo dishwasher that lasted about a week after its warranty. I have always bought Kenmore before and will buy another if needed. This one is only 4 years old now.

I really have no complaints about this machine other than it is kinda loud. Dishes seem to come out clean. Performs as I thought it might. I have a family of three and dishwasher seems to hold everything from plates, bowls, glasses and even skillets. There isnt anything that I have tried to put in that doesnt fit. I would not get another water heater from Sears. My hot water heater is seven years old and started leaking with two years left on the warranty. I had no hot water and had water all over the basement floor and called a local plumber to replace the tank so we can shower, wash dishes etc. When I called the warranty department, the service rep. notified me that because I had the tank changed with a new one, the warranty for the existing tank is void, even though I have the pictures of standing water in the basement and the defective water tank is still in the basement. Please, what should I have done? Have the water tank leak and do more damage to my basement and have no hot water for a week until your tech gets there? This is a joke of a hot water heater warranty. Go buy your next hot water tank from Lowes or Home Depot, you are much better off.

My dishwasher held up after years of use, and continued to wash my dishes thoroughly. It wasnt the fanciest dishwasher that money could buy, and yet it did exactly what I needed it to do. It fit all the dishes I needed. There were a few rare occasions - holidays - where more space would be nice, but overall, I did not need that extra space. It looked nice enough. My kitchen all had black appliances so the black outside was a plus. The inside of it was good as well, with several racks and placements. Kenmore is a great value. I feel like Kenmore is one of those rare brands that you can pay less and still get a good value. You get what you pay for does not apply to Kenmore.

Does an excellent job and gets the dishes very clean. Noise level is rather loud. Wash cycle takes about 40 minutes. However, I let my dishes dry without using the drying cycle. Find that I save on electricity and that helps make running my dishwasher more economical.

As long as you use quality detergent then the dishwasher is amazing at getting your dishes shiny and no water marks. I never have an issue with it becoming unbalanced and it has lasted me 10 years so far. The chrome with black handle model that I have of the dishwasher has all the perfect prongs inside so you can fit everything and lots of different sized dishes too! The flat chrome with the black handle makes it look modern but still is cheaper than the all chrome one. It is definitely a happy medium. Again with the mixed black and chrome it makes it cheaper than the all chrome but it works just as well. I love the value of this dishwasher.

The machine is easy to use, dishes are spotless. Long lasting use and hardly ever malfunctions. Can clean delicate glass, China, ceramic, plastic and woods. I am satisfied with the product and would buy another if mine broke down. It fits really well under the counters and installs very well against the wall. Its a good size to move around to install and the inside fits a good amount of dishes all shapes and sizes. The color fits well with other appliances I own and looks nice against my counter tops. Its also easy to keep clean and wipe down. Out of the many colors they sold, black fit best with what I already had. The washing machine was a reasonable value for shipping and installing. Its easy to maintain and keep running and lasts longer. The washing machine was definitely worth the market value.

I purchased my Kenmore dishwasher at Sears, I had an idea what dishwasher cost. The salesperson gave a good coupon and it was such a good buy. It was really reasonable and so worth it.

This dishwasher was purchased brand new in 2013. By 2016 we had to completely replace the core mechanical guts of this dishwasher. And now in January 2019 it is failing again. When it works it does a great job. But what kind of appliance which cost $1000 has a life expectancy of three years before needing its entire motor assembly to be replaced. And then two years after that it is not working. Kenmore is garbage! No wonder Sears is going under. Apparently Kenmore is made by Whirlpool. They should be ashamed of themselves. Do not buy a Kenmore dishwasher before reading the plethora of bad reviews.

I couldnt wait to get this pair, the washer and dryer plus the 2 pull-out drawers. Ive had them for several years purchased at Sears, in the mall at Lawton, OK. MY HUSBAND AND I BEGIN to notice a foul odor and couldnt figure out where it was coming from. Finally, I found it inside my washer and my clean clothes smelled like a dirty wet dishrag. I even found about 5 socks in the rubber part and they were so slimy and stunk. I threw them away. When I wash inside the rubber, black gunk comes out on my rag I spent over 2,000.00 on these. Now I’m finding out that everyone I know is having the same problems.If there is a lawsuit on these stinkers please include me. I may have got these in my husband’s name, James **. We got the first ones in dark charcoal and I exchanged them at the Lawton Sears. The first ones I got at Sears first was in Wichita Falls, TX. MALL. I DECIDED ON A LIGHTER COLOR. Thank you.

It was a dishwasher, it filled with water and then cleaned the dishes. Not some great invention, just an easier way to get around a chore. It fit all dishes and was compact. Could fit anything in there even a bowling ball. Would have preferred black but white came with the house. Looked nice but I didnt use often.

Its fast wash and gets very hot. Dishes are always spotless. Plenty of room for everything. It takes the gel packs which is much easier. Its not too loud at all. I cant complain. Its the perfect size for my household. It doesnt take up too much room. But it fits our daily dishwashing needs. And there are spots for silver, bowls, flat dishes and its not all clanging against each other. Looks modern, suits my kitchen perfectly with my other items in the kitchen. Its easy to keep clean. I spray Windex on it and wipe it down and it shines nicely. I actually get comments on the look. It was a little costly but everything is going up in price. Times are tough but for the machine it was worth it. Other brands were much more expensive for similar sizes. It works great so I cant complain about it and the price was worth it.

This dishwasher had very good reviews from my friends and my family member. They told me about how it does an awesome job and I needed to try it for myself. It was easily accessible and had numerous settings, which I loved! Hard power jet cleaned dishes quickly and easily. The design was sleek and elegant. The only problem I had was with the person installing it. Besides that, I never had any problems out of it. It got the job done and more so!

Its large and turntable works wonderfully. It hold my large 9x12 baking dishes. The power setting for reduced power does not work well! Difficulty getting 50% power intermittently ineffective. Other than that it is a good microwave.

It held a lot of dishes and had enough space for breakfast lunch and dinner dishes from a family of 5. But it wasnt so big that it was bulky. The color was beautiful too. Shiny without being too shiny and was very easy to clean. It also wasnt too bright or too dull. It was just right. The biggest thing I was worried about was the price. With two toddlers to take care of I didnt have a lot of money but I was scared if I didnt spend a lot of money I would get something that didnt work good. With this I got something fairly priced that works great.

I bought a Kenmore dishwasher 18 years ago, but rarely being used as I live alone. I used it for some guests not long ago, the programming has been messed. There is instruction about how to reboot the programs in case it is not working. Sears is famous in eager to send you repair person to get your money instead of putting instruction in manual regarding this problem. They do not offer online or on phone tech support like other big item companies do. No wonder so many Sears are out of business now as their customer support is extremely poor. Just do not buy their product in the future!

This dishwasher was purchased with our kitchen remodeling project. The stainless steel look matches well with other Kenmore Elite appliances. It is a little darker than the Samsung stainless finish. The dishwasher is fine for our family of four adults. We can get two to three days between loads but at holiday times we often must load and run twice for an extended family meal. This dishwasher is so quiet one often does not realize it is running. Holds a good amount and easy to load and operate. The silverware tray is occasionally in the way and too large. Kenmore Elite line appliances are not budget models. The value received is middle of the pack for premium lines. Some are better. Many are worse.

Kenmore is the best brand of appliances you could ever have. I love the dishwasher and the Control panel on this dishwasher. It is easy to use. All of the buttons are easy access. Its not hard to press and they light up and respond immediately when touched. I do not like the Sprayer Arms all the time. Sometimes they do not move and sometimes they also fall off. I hate having to put the sprayer arms back on the appliance. This is the best dishwasher I have ever had. The customer service is excellent. I love Kenmore appliances.

The Kenmore we had was in our townhouse when we purchased it. It was a few years old and didnt have the features we wanted in a dishwasher. It was not a very efficient machine but did the job...for a while. Thats the only good thing about it, but we didnt dislike anything it did. It was an entry model, no bells or whistles. It did not have special racks that moved, it didnt have fold down racks and two washing wands, it only had one small utensil holder and no place for larger items. We soon replaced it and now have a Bosch dishwasher and are very pleased. I am sure Kenmore has better models now, but we wanted a Bosch.

The dishwasher I had was very good and clean the dishes very good without having to wash the dishes first. It left quite a shine on the dishes when using a liquid washer. It was 36 in by 48 in high with wheels so that I could roll it around. It very Durable and lightweight. The kitchen was very small but got the job done. It was very light - maybe a white or a off white in color but very good looking dishwasher that I would recommended to family or friends. I know they would like it. It was very rate highly by myself and other that visit my house. The price was very reasonable and very well adjusted. The price was very low and I like that.

I initially picked Kenmore because we have a Sears here. I try Sears and they take good care of their customers. Ive asked to use Kenmore before and its always been very convenient and a good brand to use. Cleans dishes well. I like the sanitizing cycle and that it removes most of the bacteria left on your dishes. It definitely helps keep my kitchen healthier and cleaner. I didnt have an odor coming from the dishwasher like some do. Had a very good temperatures in the wash cycle.I could basically put anything in it and know that it wouldnt be ruined. However, I would like faster wash cycles. Even though the one hour wash cycle is good sometimes you just need a quick wash. I would like a better warranty and probably a more appealing to look. I would have more features such as a memory from my favorite and energy saver, and more room to put my dishes in. I would definitely like to use another 10 more when buying a dishwasher in the future.

Cleans dishes pretty good but still need Jet Dry as an added helper. The silverware rack can be moved but I do not feel like the silverware gets cleaned as good as it should same with the glasses on the top rack. Dishwasher is average size for a portable. It is a solid black polish with the butcher block top. The top piece that spins to wash the upper dishes needs some better improvements to clean the dishes better and the silverware rack also needs some improving since it seems like the silverware always has a couple pieces that get missed in the wash cycle.

We are a household of 2 adults, no children. We are probably easier on this appliance (Kenmore Elite Dishwasher) than most busy families, and yet the upper rack rollers break at least once a year. We’ve had it for 5 years and I’ve spent > $125 on replacement parts. The rack rollers are brittle plastic and break easily. When they break, the dishwasher is useless as the tach will no longer align with the ports in the back of the unit. The manufacturer needs to offer a recall or permanent fix with quality materials. The dishwasher is quiet, and cleans well, but is poorly designed as far as the plastic parts are concerned. Ive had cheaper dishwashers last longer without this maintenance problem. This will be my last Kenmore... EVER!

Kenmore has a great reputation, also many friends and family recommended it to me. I grew up having this brand in my household and its not as expensive as some other brands. I dont need fancy colors or anything. Just wanted something reliable, inexpensive and could get the job done. I really like all of the features currently on my new dishwasher. It gets my dishes super clean and it has several settings on it including super heavy for my pots and pans. However, I really wish it was easier to clean. It has a self clean setting but I have to buy special soap for it that only comes in one size.

We bought a Sears Kenmore dishwasher around four years ago. In less than two years time, parts started breaking off of the upper rack of the unit. After three years, the top rack was unusable, and so after limping along for some time doing 1/2 loads by using the bottom rack only, we replaced the housing for the wheels on top rack. Only, the screws dont all screw in, but just going around-and-around. At this point, Im not sure that Ill even bother going back to the parts store for a trade on the part, because during the process of fixing the wheels, we remembered that several other parts were broken (half of the spines holding the glass holders dont stay up, and both rack track stoppers are missing, so that rack can only be pulled halfway, or else the whole thing comes crashing out), and it seems pointless to spend more money on such a poorly constructed piece of equipment.Additionally, our HE dishwasher is so efficient that we have to thoroughly hand wash every plate, bowl, glass, piece of silverware before running it through the wash. It worked reasonably well for the first year. After that (and after the warranty ran out), we noticed that it wasnt cleaning well at all. We keep the trap clean. We have read other complaints online, and it seems that we need to take the whole thing apart for a thorough cleaning, in order for it to do a decent job of washing. We dont even bother loading pots and pans into the unit, because even with a thorough scrubbing, they come out greasy.We called Customer Service today, and were told that they could send a service rep out, but we would have to pay for the service call ($89.00). We were also offered an opportunity to buy an extended warranty. Im pretty sure I dont want to pour more money into this money pit. The bottom line is that we paid $800.00 for a rinser/dryer/ dish drainer for our kitchen. Do yourself a favor, and dont buy a Kenmore. That are NOT what they used to be!
