Purchased new Bosch dishwasher from Lowe's. Took 2 weeks to be delivered from the Lowe's warehouse. When installed by the Lowe's plumbers, the panel showed electrical errors. The installers called Bosch Service, service person could only say it must be installed incorrectly. Lowe's replaced. Did not know you had to clean the dishes before loading the dishwasher. After the first load, water stands in the bottom of the dishwasher and stinks. Cleaned as recommended by the owner's manual. I did not know you would have to wipe the insides down also. Water still stands and stinks. We thought Bosch was an excellent product until now.

I have just inquired on this site about problems with Maytag dishwashers. Ours does not start. It is about a year old and is Model MDBH989AW03. I am very discouraged after reading the many continual problems with control panels. I am checking my warranty. If it is out of warranty, we think that we will purchase a GE that has worked great in our other house.

I purchased a dishwasher on 1/4/2006. I have had several calls since purchase. I talked with Whirlpool asking them to replace it or a compensation of some form and they flatly said never. Approx. $750.00 worth of repairs to a dishwasher that cost $450.00.

I love the quietness of this dishwasher. Also find the third rack for silverware a great plus and have removed the basket in the lower rack for more room for dishes. What I am disappointed with is the inside of the dishwasher rack and sides are very wet after a cycle is run even on the power dry cycle. You must wipe it out or it will remain wet (can’t leave door open to dry as light stays on). For such a high price I expected better.

I am very disappointed with my new Samsung DW80M9 series dishwasher. It was billed as being a better cleaning product because the spray arm goes back and forth rather than in a circular motion like traditional dishwashers. I actually rinse my dishes before putting them in the dishwasher, but I have to scrub them to get every speck off before using this very expensive dishwasher. The one factor in its favor is that it is very quiet. I hope Samsung’s engineers will work on this very disappointing dishwasher.

We bought a fridge and a dishwasher. Only 3 months we have problem with a fridge. Ice maker does not work & water line leak make noise. We called Samsung. They sent 2 guys (horrible technicians) did not know how to do the job. They decreased my water line completely off almost. They said because of that our previous fridge did not have any problems. You know what after they decreased water line I showed them how slow it drifting. They turned around and said don't know what to do we have to call Samsung. We called, they send 2 old faces I met 3 days ago. Playing on water line again, tried to do increase & decrease, I told them it is not water line. It is mechanical problem. Unbelievable. They ask me call Samsung again. I was so angry and kicked them out. So everyone stay away from Samsung. So far so good as you can. I rate NO STAR for Samsung.

The LG Dishwasher is very quiet and dependable and does a great job of cleaning our dishes and pans. We have had other dishwashers, but they were loud and they did not clean our dishes very well.

March 10, 2016 we bought a Kitchen Aid dishwasher from Home Depot. The earliest they could install was March 15. The installers stated the hole was too tall and we needed to remove the tile to shorten it; yes there was a dishwasher in the hole so why couldn’t this one fit? March 23 the second installer arrived, opened the dishwasher and said "Your gasket is damaged. You need a new gasket." The gasket around the dishwasher had a large hole and a tear. After many phone calls and much discussion Home Depot stated the dishwasher would be replaced by Kitchen Aid/Whirlpool this week. During all this nonsense, starting March 10, we stated repeatedly we are having 40 people in our home on April 2, we must have this installed. "Of course, no problem, you will have a dishwasher before April 2." March 31 arrives, no dishwasher. A representative came out to check that the dishwasher was really damaged. We call Kitchen Aid and speak to a manager, “oh well we just got notified of this on 3/29 there is no way we can get it to you this week.” I assume this is not true because to get the dishwasher replaced the permission had to come from Kitchen Aid March 23. Needless to say after many, many phone calls and 3 service calls I still do not have a dishwasher. Buy from Home Depot & Kitchen Aid/Whirlpool at your own risk.

Generally ok, but the entire wash cycles take way too long. Certainly much longer than the older models. I guess that's more or less the case with most dishwashers today. It makes me hesitant to use the dishwasher when I consider all the energy it takes to function. I would prefer having a setting for speedier rinse/wash of just a few dishes.

We just received a Maytag delivered by Home Depot. THe box the diswasher came in was soaking wet. I called within 30 mins of delivery to report this. Home Depot called and Maytag refuses to replace the diswasher stating that it comes wrapped. No it does not, the diswasher and insulation were soaking wet. Maytag's response is just let it air out. So I'm supposed to air out a 470.00 brand new dishwasher. Home Depot is also getting its one star review for refusing to replace it and letting the third party contractor get away with delivering a damaged unit.
