Product Reviews:

1. can not get enough water in the Maytag machine to cover the clothes. 2. All of the clothes come out twisted. 3. After watching the machine wash the clothes I notice that agitator did not move all of the clothes down into the water, and that was probably because there was not enough water in the tub. 4. The machine gets out of balance easily and at that time the machine door is locked and you need to push the pause button and wait for it to unlock the door. 5. It's louder than my old Kenmore washer that we have had for 15 years.6. The Maytag dryer does not dry as fast as my old Kenmore dryer that we have had for 15 years.Bottom line is I would not buy another Maytag product. Do your homework.

Purchased the Neptune washer & dryer in 2002. Did not purchase any additional warranty. I have had Frigidaire, Kenmore and Speed Queen washers previously and used them until they quit. I have not had any problems with either the washer or dryer. No mold, no smell, nothing. I did laundry for 2 children and 2 adults, 6 to 8 loads per week with half being heavily soiled work clothes. I still wash 3-4 times a week. I was able to wash & dry king size blankets and comforters for the first time with this set. Washer and dryer are located on the main floor of house and are the quietest units I have ever owned. They may quit tomorrow, but they have done the job that they were designed to do. I am well satisfied with the quality and performance of both units and would not hesitate to purchase Maytag appliances again.

I purchased the Fisher Paykel washer and dryer 3 years ago from Lowe's, after being coaxed into it by the sales associate. He was really pushing these appliances, and they certainly aren't as good as he claimed they were! I have been very dissatisfied with these appliances, especially the dryer! I hate the weird noises it makes when putting it on, pause, and turning it off! I've had nothing but problems with it. It takes forever to dry anything! We've had a repairman out, and he replaced an element after we'd only had it for 2 years! It still took forever to dry my clothes, and now it won't dry anything! It certainly can't be energy efficient if I have to run it for hours to dry one load of clothes! This was the worst appliance purchase we've ever made, and I have nothing good to say about it to anyone!

After 35 years of faithful performance by my Maytag washing machine, without one single service call, it finally bit the dust this last May 2015. As I have had generally good luck in the past with my Kenmore products both in my home and several rentals we have, I dutifully did my research on a new Kenmore washer (I don't even remember if it was an HE or not as this is a new term for this 76 year old woman). Upon telling the salesperson which machine I wanted she immediately told me that no, I didn't want to buy that particular item because there were a lot of complaints about it and she steered me to this other machine (in retrospect I believe this was a good old "bait and switch") which miraculously could wash up to 27 large towels in its cavernous belly. No mention was made about where you would dry these 27 towels of course.Anyway, I was impressed and that's what I bought. Although after only five months I have not experienced any of the horror stories as told by others, I am extremely disappointed in the performance of this machine, from the tangled clothes, poor cleaning results (which could be because of the extremely low water level) and the lint that clings to the wet clothes even though I've programmed for 2 rinses, and which is not necessarily removed in the dryer. I do not like this washer in the least bit and after reading the complaints written by hundreds of others, I only wish I had read them all earlier. But knowing what might be lying in wait for me, I can say that I'm happy I buckled under the pressure and bought the extended warranty that the salesperson almost pleaded with me to buy. She must have known I would need it sooner than later.

We bought the top of the line LG Front Load Washing Machine 3 years ago. We had a repairman out 1 mo ago to service our LG dryer and while he was here he said our washing machine was about to go. He pointed out the loud noise we heard was from the drum that was about to disconnect from the machine. One month later, that's exactly what happened. When I called LG they said the drum was covered but the service was not. I called two of the recommended service repair people and the estimates I received were $695 and $800. I called LG back and asked if this was typical of a 3-year-old washer. I was told it was not their fault that I didn't buy the extended warranty! They do not stand behind their products!

Bravo Series Washer and Dryer. I hate, hate, hate this washer and dryer. I have had it for 2 years and hate it more every day. What makes is worse is the over $2,000 spent to buy this piece of crap technology. The engineer should be fired and sham on Maytag for selling such a piece of crap. Washer does not get clothes clean and I have pictures to prove the amount of dirt and lint and soap left on clothes and bedding. Very poor design, and worse yet absolutely horrible engineering. To wash one item on delicate takes 47 minutes. No way around it and you are limited to the water temperature you want to use and the spin cycle that you want for that item. Water level is too low no matter what setting you use. I have read and reread and gone step by step according to instructions with no success of clothes coming out clean. Clothes are also twisted and knotted and wrinkled like no other machine I have used in over 50 years. The washer is very limited in what it allows you to do. Bedding cycle is a joke that does not work at all. One of the reasons I bought this was so that I would no longer have to take the time to drive to a laundromat. I washed a comforter and so much soap and lint and dirt was left on the comforter. I still had to take it to the laundromat to get it clean.Dryer is just as bad. Even with the energy saver off it still takes 1 hour and 20 minutes to dry 4 towels that are 5 years old. I can't imagine how long it would take to dry brand new fluffy towels. It was engineered to sense when ONE piece of clothing is dry. I want ALL my clothes dry, not one piece and the machine shut off. How stupid is that??? Engineers - design it so it senses when clothes are still damp and the machine keeps running!!! I can only use the time dry setting because no other setting even comes close to getting the clothes dry.To top off the hatred of this machine some damn engineer apparently thought this was a car and needed to be aerodynamic with a curved lid on both washer and dryer so you cannot put anything on top of the machine!!! Not every house is 5,000 square feet with plenty of room and storage!!! They want to force you to buy the drawers to put underneath and then the washer becomes too tall for short people to reach down into to get the clothes out. There is not one positive thing I can say about the washer and on top of it I will never purchase another item from the store I bought this set from. I have had service come out time and time again and they say it is an installation problem. Installation says it is service and yet no one will admit it is just a very poorly designed machine. Do not buy this brand or series of washer and dryers. This series deserves a minus and the company should replace every set sold!!!

Cleans great. Washes and extracts perfectly. I have used the dryer for less time and clothes come out very clean. I would recommend. Great value/great price. The large load fits a lot of clothes. It keeps up with my household of two men, one teen and one female. And football uniform items. Few washes a day and never lets me down. It is not a fancy front loader but I prefer the top loads. It has everything I need and is a very nice washer. It is simple but what I need. The price was excellent. Great value for a great washer. It is one of the cheaper styles but like I said it has everything I need for a great price.

Worst washing machine ever. Been junk from day one. Won't spin, says unbalanced unless you fill to top then have smell and dryer won't dry same load. Have to separate and dry rust on top by fill lid. Can't get anybody to work on. Drives me nuts. Ready to buy new washer and dryer. Sure won't be a LG. Nothing but junk and also bought mine at Sears.

I am the proud owner of a new Beko Condenser tumble dryer, and I could not be happier with my choice. Like Mary Poppins it is `Practically perfect in every way`.

It was broken down more than it was working. Lots of service calls over & over again. Did not clean clothes like it should have. Most of the time we had to re-wash the clothes a second time. It was not at all dependable. When it did work you had to wash the clothes a second time as it did not always get them clean. It was so loud you thought it was an airplane taking off. It was just a regular top loading washer and a normal electric dryer. It was about 35 years ago when we had these units. It was nothing fancy. Just a basic top load model. Would not recommend the Kenmore brand at all. We just did not have good luck with purchasing their brands at all. We know other people who had good luck with them but for us unfortunately it was the total opposite.
