Product Reviews:

The people at the Viking dealer were friendly and there were issues that they took care of. Altogether, they were good and shipping was great. They sent the refrigerator out quickly. I’m having a little problem with it at the moment though. The temperature is not setting the right way for some reason. It’s not matching what it says on the display. While I like the simplicity of it since I have too many gadgets, I would like to see a feature to dim the lights because they are too bright on the refrigerator. But I like the new shelving system which we did in heavy glass and also the drawers that are metal. Those are good features. I like them much better because they broke on my old refrigerators. I’ve been in the restaurant business and I’ve had Viking in my home all along. The experience with Viking is good. It’s better than I expected.

On Apr 2013, we moved to a new house and bought Samsung RF261BEAESR. Thought it is brand name, the quality is good except one screw on the handle always loose, everything was ok. About earlier last year (2014), when I pulled out the deli tray, realized ice build up under deli tray. I cleaned it and thought maybe because it is too cold, did not really pay attention. About few month later, I did cleaning again. This time I found a lot of water under deli tray, I still did not realized it is quality problem. Then few days ago when I started cleaning, I cleaned out about 1 gallon of water from bottom of deli tray. Then I called customer service, they said I already passed 1 year guarantee, they cannot do anything. I told them this happened just few months after I punched, because it already builded up ice. If I did not pull out deli tray, I won't never find water leaking. The customer service just gave me a phone number to call, told me cost at least $399 plus tax. Then later I called back again, same answer. I ask if I can talk to manager, she said she is manager assistant. Help customer service, gave me the same phone number. I told her I cannot believe Samsung has poor quality, before I bought $400 refrigerator, never had any problem. I spend over $1600 on their product, just few months later, already found water leaking. This is unreasonable. I will never buy any Samsung appliance anymore.

My water line that runs inside the freezer door freezes up causing water and ice dispenser not to work. Service call and repair two weeks ago - $98.00. Now it has happened again. This KitchenAid refrigerator is not quite 3 years old. Paid extra to get water and ice inside door. I really think it should last longer than it does. Repairman said it seems as though water line is placed too close to cooling and we made need to buy a new door for $900 to fix it. This won't happen. This will be my last experience with Sears and KitchenAid.

On Thurs. Sept 25 at noon the alarms and lights started flashing on my refrigerator when I tried to get some water. I called Maytag, told them what was happening and told them to bring a motherboard when they came as nothing was working but the lights and alarms. I was told it was too close to the weekend so they would be out Mon. the 29th and I should just to get some dry ice. They came and the order said nothing about a motherboard, which is what the tech person who came also said it needed. Now they will be here on the 7th of Oct - maybe. 12 days is highly unsatisfactory for refrigerator repair. They had 4 days to see that the provider had a motherboard before the serviceman wasted a trip. I've spent $102 on dry ice and now I'm going to lose the food anyhow. I like the refrigerator but the service is really terrible so I won't be buying another Maytag appliance. The person at the call center ignored my diagnosis and it will be even worse now as over the weekend Maytag switched their call service to India!

The kitchen was already here when I bought the house and the person that lived in it before I did recommended the Viking Refrigerator to me. It's a good overall appliance. From one day to the next, it stopped cooling. The main machine was frozen and that's why the cooling could not get to the fridge. But now it's all fixed. I love Viking.

We have a LG LFXC24726S French Door refrigerator that started dispensing water on it own. Fortunately we were home and able to stop it in a few minutes. We got about 2 to 3 gallons of water on our wooden kitchen floors. If we had not been home, a very different story. Has this been an ongoing problem with LG? Does not generate much faith in this company.

My husband and I bought an LG LSXS22423S side by side refrigerator and after less than 2.5 years, the refrigerator quit cooling. I called the consumer line and they did a phone diagnostic test (which was useless) and came back and said, "You have had the doors opened too much today." Of course I have, the unit shut down its cooling and everything was defrosted and water was running out the bottom. I am so disappointed in this and was warned by a salesman that LG would not last. I will have to pay $300.00 to $400.00 to have a repairman come and fix it.

I have a similar story to Patricia. Been without a fridge for over a month. Refrigerator is almost brand new (bought last year) and a service-person has been out three times (going on 4) to "fix" it. The fixes NEVER work and then they have to order ANOTHER part and I have to wait for the part AND THEN the service person. I should not have to wait once the part comes in. People who have been waiting should be at the TOP of the list. Then again, this is Maytag...probably EVERYONE has been waiting for a fix.I'll never buy a Maytag appliance again unless they give me a new appliance, pay for the apartment sized refrigerator I was forced to buy while I waited--I have 3 children who need fresh food--and replace the $300 worth of groceries that went bad when I was assured the second fix would work (they won't replace my refrigerator--if they do, I'll be satisfied--unless it breaks in less than a year, too).

We have a 36" double door - double freezer drawer model and love it. Recently, we purchased a 24" model and hate it! The 24" model looks great and is a conversation piece - "until" the compressor kicks in. You can not believe the sound! The factory authorized a guy to come down and listen to it - then they replaced the compressor. It is still noisy. They came back and told me "that's just the way it is". Since they deemed that the noise is "normal" (it's just as noisy now as it was with the original compressor), Liebherr will not pay the service contractor for his efforts! I am so disappointed with this company. I could yell. How can this smaller unit sound like an airplane taking off when the compressor kicks on, yet the large unit we own is nice and quiet? Definitely a design problem!

It worked really well except the shelves kept breaking on the door. It kept veggies and fruits, and lunch meat cold in the bottom drawers but be careful not to turn too cold because if you put anything on the top shelf too cold it will freeze. It was good for when I needed it. Freezer is small but fridge part is big enough to put gallon milk on bottom shelf. A little too small for my family of 5. It would get overstuffed with groceries and leftovers. It was white with freezer and fridge. It had glass shelves and two drawers in the bottom of the fridge for meats and veggies. The bottom above the drawers was plastic and breaks easy. The door of the fridge, the guards break off easy. It was a good value for a small family or starting out with a basic fridge. It held a good amount of food but the freezer... it was very small basically for ice and a few meats.
