Product Reviews:

This washer performed very well. At times, the rotation device in the center would come unbound, but it is an easy fix. Overall, it is cost efficient and relatively compact for our living area and I'm enjoying it. I have plenty of laundry to do, and this washer can hold it all. It has never need anything but a do it yourself repair. The washer is very good at washing. I don't enjoy cubical shapes as I have an unnatural fear of them (my doctor told me). Other than the shape, the color is good and it can fit into any reasonably colored room. For all of the use I got out of it, I would say it is underpriced. It is really that good.

I own the F&P EcoSmart washer. This machine has made holes in no less than 10 of my shirts! I don't understand how a washing machine could do this. From what I have read, there is not much I can do about it. It will probably cost me more to replace the shirts than what the machine costs. I’m very disappointed with this product.

The LG washer leaks water. I've only had the washer for 2 month, and in that time I have made 7 calls and taken off work 4 times to meet the LG repairmen. Yet, the washer continues to leak. Upon contacting an LG supervisor, her response was a weak sorry. I would strongly urge anyone considering the purchase of a washing machine to never buy a LG washer. The LG machine is unreliable and LG service was hollow.

I purchased a Whirlpool Cabrio washer (WTW6500WW1) on 9/11/09 for approximately $800. Now three years later, it needs a new rotor and stator costing $470 in parts and labor. I called Whirlpool and was told I could get no help with the cost of parts because of the age of the machine! A simple Google search of the F51 error code that I am getting will show you that these machines are $800 pieces of junk! I am not repairing this machine. I am going to run it until it dies and simply buy a new washer. You can bet your sweet self it will not be a Whirlpool! I can only hope to inform enough buyers about this to keep them from the same fate.

We bought a 700 series washer in September 2017. We've had the tech out twice because it WILL NOT RINSE THE SOAP OUT OF GARMENTS. We were told to only use heavy duty or white cycles with double rinse, softner and prewash. This doesn't work either. We've had Kenmore for 50 plus years in our household and if I could sell it with a clear conscience I would in a heartbeat! I realize Sears is having financial problems but as a minimum they should recall these machines and fix them somehow. If not I think from reading others reviews and knowing several that have the same problems with the 700 series there is bound to be a class suit considered.

I don't recommend Electrolux appliances. Can't reach anyone at Electrolux. Dealer (Ferguson) not helpful. No washer now for a month after spending $900 on repairs. Tech said not repairable due to circuit boards.

Model WD-10165FU - I am a South African customer and we have a 9 year old LG Front Loader washing machine (in excellent condition) which has been giving trouble for some time. The problem has been intermittent completion of wash/rinse/spin cycle. I had to resort to taking back cover off and manually coaxing the pulley/V belt to turn the drum. At times during the wash cycle the water would drain out but no amount of 'coaxing' would induce the machine to spin.Today I called out an L.G. Electronics technician who, after checking the brushes in the motor, told me that the problem lay with the P.C. board but then informed me that P.C. boards for this model had been discontinued and there was no other P.C. board which would work. And then the 'coup de grace' - he said I would have to buy a new washing machine. Is there any reason for me to feel totally dissatisfied with L.G. products! I feel that L.G. Electronics have erred badly by not ensuring that such an important part is readily available. I now have to discard an otherwise perfectly working washing machine and outlay big money for a replacement, which most certainly will not be another L.G.!

My husband and I bought a new Whirlpool Cabrio Platinum Series Washer and Dryer in November 2012 from Lowe's. My clothes, especially towels, smell like mildew and mold since I have used it. I thought it was just me. I have even thrown some items away when they smelled so bad. I love doing laundry but this not being able to have clean smells was driving me crazy. I tried everything I could think of but to no avail. Finally in October of this year 2015 my washing machine began to make a loud noise. My husband said sounds like a bearing is going out. I immediately sought a repairman thinking that it would be a simple fix. $420 later I had a new bushing, bearing, sleeve, etc. The machine was still making noises even louder and my repairman came back, this time to the tune of $180. So far we've spent $600 on a washer that we gave a little over $800 for. Now I have a UL code showing up when my load is almost completely done and guess what? My repairman says he has yet another part that should take care of the noise but he wasn't so sure about the panel. He may have to do a little research on that. I think all I have is a repairman that is a "parts replacer" so we were forced to purchase a new washer yesterday and my Cabrio is sitting in my garage. If someone needs a boat anchor just please contact us. I wrote a letter to the corporate office of Whirlpool before I even knew that so many consumers were having problems. Two repairmen told me that the Cabrios were junk. Most of them belonged in the landfill. Whirlpool customer service called me and offered me a discount coupon on a new washer. I told them that I didn't think I needed another piece of crap. I also questioned them as to why they could foist these crappy machines off on the American public. They had no apologies whatsoever. While researching what brand washing machine to invest in, I realized that there were numerous complaints regarding the Whirlpool Cabrio. With as many consumers who have been taken advantage of with this awful product, why can't someone do something?

This washer is 5 years old and the top is rusting out on the inner rim. I have city water that has been tested and found to be totally safe to use and drink. Neighbors using the same water and owning different brand washers have no rust problems. Does anyone else have the same problem with their Cabrio washer?

I am so fed up with my two LG front load washers which I purchased in August, 2006. 1 1/2 years ago the cold water valve had to be replaced in #1 washer. Six months ago, the hot water valve had to be replaced in #2 washer. Today the cold water valve had to be replaced in #1 washer again. I paid over $2,000.00 for these washers. Doesn't anything last more than 4 years? Next time I'm buying top loading, cheap washers so when they break, I will just throw them out and buy new ones.
