I bought a brand new Kenmore side by side because I had previously bought a Kenmore refrigerator 35 years ago and it is still running. My new one was beautiful but it died in 2 years 3 months. Compressor is totally shot and 1 year warranty covers NOTHING. I had the local refrigeration repair company come out that is reputable and honest. He didnt even charge me the full price for a house call. Thank goodness I kept my old fridge and plugged it in and it runs fine. I will only buy American made going forward and have learned my lesson... Always get the extended warranty.

My refrigerator has lasted us over 5 years. It has never given us any problems and consistently keeps our food cold. The freezer is also very dependable and spacious. The refrigerator is very roomy. The door shelves has ample room to store all of our condiments. The freezer has enough room for us to store a months worth of food with no problem. Our refrigerator is a very attractive addition to our kitchen. The color blends in well with the rest of our kitchen decor. Its size is perfect to fit in its location. Our Kenmore refrigerator gave us great value for the money we spent on it. It is very competitively priced with refrigerators in its class.

It runs great, smoothly and quietly. The exterior is easy to clean and manage (it doesnt show fingerprints or spots as much as other stainless steel products) and the interior is durable and functional. I love this refrigerators size. It fits all of our frozen and fresh items perfectly. The shelves are easy adjustable and the baskets make for easy access. The exterior is a great color and easy to keep spotless. It easy to keep fingerprints at bay and to keep looking fresh and new. Kenmore is a great name for appliances and this refrigerator keeps up to that name and promise. For the price this is an outstanding fridge.

I bought two Kenmore Energy star refrigerators one for my use and one for my rental unit. The energy use is very low as stated by the company, less than a sixty watt bulb. Both refrigerators keep food warm and cozy in the fridge section, and the freezer sections are always below the freezing point. If you keep the doors closed and the thermostat set at max cold you get very stable temperatures as shown in the picture. Freezer +/- 32 and Fridge +/- 15. This review is relevant for 6000 and 7000 series of Kenmore top freezer models, hope it helps.

It is one of the best refrigerator out there. I never had any issues with it and it always kept the right temperature. It was silver, duo doors with a ice and water dispenser. I wish I would have got a different one with the bottom draw because the extra space would have been great. I did not have enough space for all the frozen items I usually buy. It was a great fridge though.

I would give this negative stars if I could. We bought a Kenmore Elite Refrigerator with bottom freezer in September 2016. It totally stopped working on June 23, 2017 (8 months later). The earliest appointment they could give us was the following Friday, June 30th. Repairman thinks that it may be the compressor but cant get the parts until 7/21. We told him that was unacceptable and he was then able to find the parts and scheduled to return on 7/7. Just got a call from Sears saying that the parts are on back-order and the earliest they could schedule service is on 7/24. I told them that I wanted a new refrigerator instead and was told that they could not replace it unless a repairman deemed it unfix-able. I told them to send a repairman to verify that it was unfix-able because as far as I am concerned, if they dont have the parts to fix it, then it is unfix-able. Of course I was then told that they wont send anyone until the parts come in. So now we are without a refrigerator until July 24th and who knows if he can even fix it when he comes. Over a month without a refrigerator is totally unacceptable. They do not seem to care either, but they will care when they are out of a job. Thank God that I didnt purchase the extra service plan - I am sure that is just as useless as their warranty. No wonder they are closing Sears stores everywhere - it is disgraceful how they handle business and treat customers. Thankfully, my local Sears will be closing its doors soon, too bad they didnt before I bought my refrigerator. I wish that I had read the reviews prior to purchasing. I will never buy another thing from them again.

For our family this was the perfect fit. Theres easy access in the freezer with the shelves, and the adjustable shelves make storing larger items easy. The refrigerator space is also adjustable and useful for larger milk and other items. Never had any problems with mechanical issues. Very efficient and reliable. The modern but simple design is perfect for an older kitchen that we have. The features are modern, but not overboard which leads to a economic unit that still has the appearance of a much more expensive unit. The contour also fits well into the space that we have and by keeping a simple but glossy white color it helps us to be able to draw attention to the older design of our house and not having your eye drawn to the appliances.

We purchased a Kenmore Elite 30CF bottom freezer refrigerator in October 2014. We thought we were buying top of the line for many years of peace of mind. By March that refrigerator had so many problems and 6 repairs. Kenmore agreed to send a replacement in April 2015. It is now September 2015 and the second replacement refrigerator has had 4 repairs. Kenmore will not even offer an extended warranty to stand behind their product and my $3,000. Yesterday the refrigerator was repaired again. Well see how long it lasts. All Kenmore says is that the replacement in April comes with a new 1-year warranty and to contact Sears to purchase an extended warranty. Like I want to invest more money into this piece of crap? Ill start saving that money towards its replacement which will likely be in a few short years, if that. This purchase has been such a nightmare. I do not plan on buying from Sears or Kenmore ever again in the future.

I’ve had my mini refrigerator with freezer for 18 years now. And the only thing that broke on it was the thermostat switch broke. This refrigerator was and to me still the best interiorly designed mini fridge and freezer ever made. It’s getting so old now, that’s why I’ve decided to by a second one for the 3 time in 18 years. Just to have in the basement, but they all suck in design and they really do not last long at all????! But the one in my room just keeps on fighting like a muscle car???? Kenmore please bring back the old mini interior design and quality... Please!

Only problem I have had is with the ice maker, but in all fairness, I have had the same problem with all the refrigerators I have owned. Otherwise, this refrigerator has been excellent. There is ample freezer space with the double drawers.

I understand a warranty ending but what kind of fridge dies after such a short term? The worst part of it is, Im in AK, there is no service for Kenmore refs in AK. Sears basically told me to take a hike. Only after I yelled at phone support did they give me troubleshooting instructions. None of which helped. As of now, I believe the refrigerant leaked internally. Its labeled Kenmore Elite; the product, and frankly, the service is a zero!

We bought this fridge new at a scratch and dent appliance center. It was delivered on September 23 and by January 7 it stopped working efficiently after 115 days. The service tech says it is a bad/leaking evaporator, so we are awaiting news of what will happen next. A Major inconvenience to say the least. We have gone to the dealer once already today and will need to return to negotiate what happens next. The warranty was only for 90 days, so hopefully we can work something out.

Do not buy any refrigerator from Kenmore. They do not stand behind their products. I have a two year old refrigerator (Kenmore elite refrigerator) that has rust spots all over the outside doors that should be a defect in the material but they refuse to do anything about it.

Very efficient and quiet and also very easy to use with little or no help at all. Its great. I will/wish all of your appliances worked as quietly as that brings to memory when my fridge went kaput. You can fit pots and pans and skillets and soil washers. It also will allow you to put in coolers if theyre not of great size and does get those clean especially after camping and fishing. It has a really Sleek look. Very small in size and fits in the smallest Corner in my kitchen but still is very easy to access. It was the best one that we saw for sale at the time especially for the small size. Besides having a very Sleek look and being small enough to fit in the corner of my kitchen the value seems fantastic as it has a really new look although it is not too old. I really do love it.

Kenmore use to have reliable products. No more. I bought a Kenmore fridge from Bel Air, MD Sears in Jan 2017 but did not buy a policy because Kenmore had a good reputation. After only 12 months and 20 days, it broke down. Repairman said the refrigerant was leaking and required the evaporator, tubing and the compressor replaced. Total cost, $800. Talked to the Sears people in Bel Air, MD and they wouldnt do anything. We will never darken Sears doors or buy Kenmore products anymore.

My Kenmore performs amazingly well. Havent had any problems out of it whatsoever. It runs quietly and does the job with keeping my items cold and the freezer keeping my items frozen. It is a wonderful size. It fits everything I need it to fit in the fridge part as well as the freezer part. Its quite spacious and is perfect for my family of 4. My refrigerators appearance is gorgeous. It is a nice smooth, sleek design. Its easy to clean and maintain. Especially with me having 2 toddlers and their sticky fingers I needed something that wiped clean easily and this does the job. I believe my Kenmore refrigerator is a bang for your buck. It is an amazingly awesome appliance that does its job effectively and looks great in any kitchen. I believe its more than worth the money.

I purchased a top-of-the-line Kenmore refrigerator in February 2013. On May 26, 2013, after being away for a couple of days, I came home to water on the floor and my refrigerator not working. An error message came up on the display. When I called Kenmore, they told me they couldnt have a repairman out for a couple of days. I lost hundreds of dollars of food. The repairman showed up last night and said it needed over $500 in parts and it would take 10 days to get them. He told us we should buy their extended warranty because he gets a lot of complaints about these new refrigerators that have a lot of electronics. They want over $700 for a four-year warranty. I think I got a lemon and deeply regret buying it. Why would I want to pay $4,000 for a refrigerator that breaks down spoiling all my food and a tremendous inconvenience and then be asked to spend another $700 to make sure the refrigerator works for at least 4 years?! Sears needs to go bankrupt. It is the last thing I will buy from them!

I have never had a problem with my Kenmore even after ten years, its a great brand. I usually look for the Kenmore brand in all of my appliances because they are dependable. I had a standard size refrigerator, it fit my lifestyle and I have a family of five, I usually shop for meat once a month and there was plenty of freezer room and I adjusted the shelves in the refrigerator to fit my needs. I like the material the refrigerator is made out of. It always looks new, all I do is spray it down once a week and a quick wipe of the sponge and it shines like new inside and out. I got mine for a really good price and considering that it lasted over ten years with no problems I would say its a very good value, it still runs quietly and looks brand new.

Ive had the refrigerator for about 10 years and have never had a problem with it. It works fine and keeps everything at the proper temperature. It is big enough for all my needs and has never given me a problem.

The Kenmore refrigerator worked well, kept food cold and at the correct temperature day after day, had removable shelves and was very easy to keep clean on the inside and outside. Never had any trouble with it breaking down which gave me peace of mind. Very dependable and reliable and lasted a very long time. However, although there was room inside there could have been more room and a bigger drawer for fruits and vegetables.

Easy to clean. Pull out and spill proof shelves are great and interchangeable. Inexpensive but lots of room in French door bottom freezer model. Water filter is easy to replace and makes ice tastes fresh. Ice bin is situated on top shelf of freezer so it’s not in the way. Bottom freezer pull out drawer had top rack and holds lots of food.

It was dependable and last for years. It was a steel refrigerator, with a great amount of space in it. I never had any problems with my food being kept cold. It also never broke down. It was my first major appliance that my husband and I brought together. I would recommend the Kenmore products to anyone.

This refrigerator has lasted a long time over 15 years never a problem. We have been extremely happy. We have never had to take it in to be serviced. It is big enough to hold all of our food. The size is great - it fits all of our food. The vegetables and the lunch meats. The cheeses and all of our other food. The top shelf is very good for our big items such as milk and ice tea juices. Bottles that are bigger. My refrigerator is white. It is big and fits in my kitchen very well. It is older now and theres some water deposit spots I cannot get off from the ice maker. It still cleans and looks ok. I dont know how much it is worth now but we bought it for $1500 15 years ago. It is an older model and not as modern as these new stainless steel refrigerators.

Keeps my things chilled but not frozen, would recommend to anyone. It is a great brand for the value, and I know that it will last long enough for me to get the full use out of it. It once again is an amazing fridge and great brand. The fridge has a decent size, and it has lots and lots of space for your goods. Even if you get a smaller one, you still get a ton of room for groceries, soda, etc. This fridge looks sleek and modern. It doesnt have a bulky look, and I do love the stainless steel featured on it. It helps keep it clean, and it just looks good in general. The value for the quality of this fridge is 100% worth it. Anytime my friends want a fridge recommendation its always Kenmore fridges. They arent too expensive for the great quality.

We were totally satisfied with the performance of this machine. No complaints!! Keeps food cold, frozen food frozen with little to no cleanup. Easy to use design and frost free too! The size is good...enough room to store up to two weeks of groceries. We buy in bulk and this machine could hold it! The only difficulty we experience is the size/width of the freezer - wont hold a pizza (unless you rant to fold it in half). Handsome, rugged looking in black...enough so to go with our country home. The black was a little difficult to keep water marks off from around the water dispenser, but nothing a little elbow grease/regular cleaning couldnt handle. Bought new. The savings in energy and ability to store bulk purchases offset any additional expense. Also, the ability to set temperature and humidity levels cut down on food loss extending our food budget. We experience real value with this machine.

We bought our brand new Kenmore Elite just 2 years ago and it suddenly stopped working. After waiting 2 weeks for the repairman to show up, he tells us it is the compressor that went. He tells us it is under warranty, however the cost to install will be $380. He says that the actual manufacturer is LG. We thought it was Whirlpool. We would NEVER had gone with LG as our choice. Our refrigerator still looks BRAND NEW, however the repairman says he can’t guarantee the new compressor won’t break again because they are junk products from LG. Don’t buy Kenmore products.

I have purchased from Sears a $2000 Kenmore Elite Refrigerator 3-door bottom fridge which is 1 year and 2 days old. 2 days after the warranty ran out, we noticed a loud noise coming from the freezer. We noticed a water leak. We have this fridge less than a year because it took over a week to deliver from Sears.When we called to Sears customer service, we were told that warranty is out for 2 days. Warranty goes from the purchase date not from the date when you received. So I wonder do they have a censor that after warranty is out something goes wrong.

It does all it needs to... it has never broken down on me, it doesnt over freeze or melt anything. I would definitely buy this brand of refrigerator again. It was definitely big enough to store all my food Items. The freezer is always able to hold all my frozen foods. It is really tall and it is the color silver. Its high performance and the best refrigerator I have ever bought. I would recommend it to anybody. The refrigerator cost me about 650 dollars. It was on sale at the time but it performs like it cost much more the value. I cant say enough good things about it.

The Kenmore refrigerator was a side by side. The size was good, the freezer fairly large. We had very little trouble with the Kenmore. The reason we bought a different refrigerator was because we remodeled the kitchen and the color did not match.

It is the top of a line refrigerator. We never had any issues with its performance. We had problems with other brands in the past but not this product. It has a larger refrigerator size and roomy drawers for your produce. The freezer side could be a bit larger but in general I was very pleased with the size. I love the stainless steel look for my kitchen appliances so I was very happy with the appearance. It rarely showed fingerprints so I didnt have to clean it often. This refrigerator was not the cheapest one we shopped for but I am willing to pay more for a quality product. I was happy with the quality of the product for the price.

This refrigerator ran very efficiently and kept all my foods at the proper temperature. The freezer was reliable too. The self-defrost feature is a real work saver. The size of this refrigerator was perfect for a family of 2 and it probably would be fine for a slightly larger family of 4. The freezer is a bit small, but many households including mine, have a separate free standing freezer. This is a standard looking refrigerator, nothing fancy but worked well with my other appliances. It is easy to clean and comes in a few colors. The purchase of this refrigerator was money well spent. It served its purpose well and was reliable. No bells or whistles just a plain refrigerator that did the job.

Like most Kenmore products, we find our Kenmore refrigerator to be extremely reliable. It has been in operation in our home for 20+ years now, and continues to have no problems. Our last refrigerator was also a Kenmore, and ran trouble free for at least 17 years. We then moved, but I wouldnt be surprised if it was still running well.

I purchased an LG manufactured Kenmore Elite refrigerator (795.72483.411) in 2/2018 for around $3k. Condenser went out this week. Cost is >$1000 for repairs. We had already replaced the ice maker for several hundred dollars. Now, 5/2021, I need to purchase a whole new refrigerator. Stay away from Kenmore and LG refrigerators. This seems to be a very common problem.

Sold this unit with our last home, which we had for 7 years. Good interior design layout, no frost problems, energy efficient and easy to clean and maintain. A good height for low ceiling homes. We were very happy with the layout of the refrigerator side; the door shelves are well placed and interior shelving is adjustable. The freezer is a little cramped, but that is a sacrifice for an ice maker. Height is great for lower ceiling homes. The refrigerator looked beautiful in the kitchen, it is easy to match with other appliances. Its easy to clean and resists scratches and stains. The price was comparable to other models in its class - we could have gotten a lesser known brand with a freezer below, but decided to go with the Kenmore because of the reputation and warranty.

Purchased an expensive French Door Bottom refrigerator from Sears in Feb. of 2013. Last week it stopped working. Called the Sears Service and they said they will charge $99 to come out and then give an estimate for the repairs. They also tried to sell me their 5-year warranty for $324.0 which is sold for $150 by Home Depot and Lowes. I called another repair service who charged me $65 to check the problem and said that compressor is not working would cost $750.00 to replace the compressor. We decided to junk the refrigerator and buy an LG two-door top freezer for $990. Will never again buy a Sears brand product.

I never thought Kenmore made quality products but I was wrong! I did not purchase my Kenmore refrigerator; it was here when I bought my home. Obviously, my Kenmore is not new but it works like a charm. It remains as cold as we want. We often keep both the refrigerator and top freezer shelves over-stocked and the shelves are weighted. The shelves inside the refrigerator have not broken or chipped but unfortunately, one of the shelves in the top freezer broke. The refrigerator is more than 20 years old so it was no surprise. (We just put some Gorilla Glue on it and it is holding up just fine.) As I said, the refrigerator is old but it works better than any other refrigerator I have ever owned and I pray that it lasts until I the day I leave this earth. When and if I move, I plan to take it with me because that is just how reliable and steady it is.

The fridge performance was good and it was cold. The service from company was nice and the fridge worked wonderfully like it should. I was happy with purchase. The fridge size was a bit too small and compact but fit very well in my kitchen and worked out perfectly cool and great and good and easy. A nice appliance. The appearance of the fridge was white and it was tall and cold inside and holds food that I eat and was a good fridge that I bought. I liked it very much. The fridge was a great value and the box was large and the fridge was cold and neat and small. The appliance was good and I love it very much.

We purchased a new refrigerator from Sears not quite 4 yrs ago and weve had three service calls, today will be our FOURTH. It has gone from not freezing to freezing too much in the freezer, to not cooling in the fridge part. It is my belief that when a customer has that many problems with an appliance it should be considered a big lemon and should be replaced. I am 65 yrs old and never in my wildest dreams have I ever encountered so many problems. It has been a BIG headache from day one. I would not recommend Kenmore or Sears to anyone.

My refrigerator (Model 795.77569600) displayed this error code last fall which I had fixed in October of 2012. In March of 2013, I had the same problem. Tech support is useless and only wants to send someone to fix it again and at my expense again. They are badly mistaken. I will fix it with a new one made by someone else. Junk, junk, junk!

Apologies to those who have had positive experiences with their LG/Kenmore Elite fridges. Would recommend taking a look at LG complaints against similar Kenmore fridges, dating from purchases several years ago thru as recent as a few months ago. Buyer beware, based on my personal experience since purchasing same in 07/12. Purchased unit for over $3K, had repairs for upgrade within few months following purchase. Repairman warned that LG fridges are the most common callouts and replaced a rear baffle containing different cooling air-flow, along with the primary computer board.Worked fine for several more months, then experienced a common RF error on display. Found a repairman who graciously shared with me the process of removing all food from the fridge, unplugging same, and waiting 24 hours for defrosting ice that had built up in freezer compartment, then plugging the fridge back in and restocking it after confirming that the cooling was functioning correctly. This has been done 4 additional times before a mid Feb. 16 noise caught our attention. Contacted repairman, who said it sounded like the fan was rubbing on ice that had built up... So once again, food was removed, but this time the repairman came to investigate the fan damage. $330 later... including several days delay due to scheduled appointments, he added another defroster controller and yet a different air-flow panel than the first replacement. Fridge compartment and Freezer area were still working prior to these repairs...15 days later, noticed fan noise again, but this time there was no cooling in either fridge or freezer compartments. Unplugged fridge, removed food, while throwing a fair quantity away... Called repairman, he said to plug it back in and see how it works... Presently at that point, but have become increasingly cynical about this product and the remaining options. I am not a person sold on warranties, unfortunately, I hold the belief that there should be some portion of pride as products are built, along with a reasonable ability to stand behind them. Neither LG or Sears Customer service offers any additional support, aside from buying their warranties, similar in cost to my last repair bill, and with it a one year maintenance plan... The coverage is not very good and other plans around my area are similar in cost/return on investment.I searched the Consumer Affairs reporting against LG fridges in general and it is current with page after page of homeowners confirming worse experiences with service, and lack of any ownership regarding these issues... Yet LG is allowed to continue selling their products without any disruption to their financial income. There was mention of class action suit, but I notice those folks mentioning same were not allowed to visibly display their Email addresses. Being unfamiliar, and first time posting because of this blatant disregard for the consumers, I am uncertain of how much this posting will actually be edited out... LG fridges, in particular, and Sears, have a zero rating (even though I hesitated even applying 1 star due to CA requirements for publishing my comments) based on their lack of willingness to support what they have sold and admit the issues which have been reported by many customers. Again, buyer beware...

I love this refrigerator. It accents my kitchen and the freezer space is large enough because I have 3 children in my house so I always need a lot of food in the house. The size of the refrigerator is awesome because I am able to put a ton of condiments on the door and lots of food in it and it is very sturdy and useful for me and the kids and I love the products they sell. The refrigerator is grey and white on the inside. The kids love the color of it and so do the rest of my family. I love the refrigerator. The price of the refrigerator is exceptional price for the goodness and wholesome of the refrigerator and the thing is really awesome.

Never had any problems. Had lots of space, kept everything cold, didnt freeze vegetables and cheese, self defrosted freezer, was quiet, never runs loudly, keeps frozen food frozen, not frostbitten.

Only issue Ive ever had is that ice maker takes up a lot of space in the freezer. Sometimes you have to move things around so door will close. But we have more than enough room for everything. Its a standard issue chrome surfaced appliance... Nothing wrong with it, nothing special about it. We like the way it looks. It came with the house when we bought it. It came with the house when we bought it... Best I can say is that weve never had any problems with it, and it looks fine in our kitchen.

Today came home to a new refrigerator not working! Lost food in both the freezer and refrigerator. Called Sears/Kenmore, told it would take a WEEK before a tech could come out! They put in an emergency order and am waiting. Incredibly disappointed as I bought the entire Kenmore Pro series for my brand new kitchen!!

Greatest product because it has a lot of space and also it has more room for ice cream. Every home needs an efficient refrigerator in your kitchen. Sears carries a wider variety.

The refrigerator functions well. My problem is that it sometimes freezes towards the back end of the cold storage section. However, its other functions work fairly well. The fridge is more than enough to store my groceries and leftovers on a daily basis. Its adjustable shelves are also helpful in storing foods, and its multiple drawers make storing lumpy veggies and fruits easy. The fridge is very quality looking and its silvery front is great for a modern home. The sides are also magnetic, so its customizable if one wishes to do so. The outward appearance of the fridge is quite impressive and should garner a good market value. The interior is spacious looking as well and deserves a good price. However its flaws as prior mentioned detract its value for me.

Have owned this refrigerator for a few years and have not had any issues at all. Also the price is very affordable which makes it very economical. Its a standard size that fits perfectly in my kitchen. I love that I can get the shelves and steers out easily and replace them hassle free. I own a white model that is clean and classy looking for a basic white model. Its just perfect for my kitchen. Goes well with my decor. Have had no issues or problems. There is no rust that happened to my last refrigerator which is very impressive. It cleans up very nicely and great for the money.

I like that the freezer and cooler work good and the drawers in the refrigerator part are placed in convenient places. I love the freezer but wish it were bigger. I think the fridge is fine overall. I love how big the refrigerator part is and how big the drawers are for meat, veggies, and other food. I think the freezer is too small though. It is white and plain on the outside and is nicer on the inside. I think the drawers are pretty cool but nothing fancy. I am cheap and thought that this was a pretty good deal for a basic refrigerator. It is doing what it needs to do and for the price I dont expect more.

The Kenmore fridge worked great and a very good product. It was a compact size which was good for space. I could have gotten something else and Im glad I didnt!!! I truly was happy with what it was bought for. I wish I had a home to buy a fancy one though!!!

The performance of my Kenmore refrigerator is outstanding. I love all of the feature it included. It works great and looks fantastic in my kitchen. The size is perfect. I can fit a lot of food in my fridge now compared to my old one. This Kenmore fridge has lots of space and nice compartments. The appearance of my Kenmore fridge is beautiful. It looks sharp and matches my kitchen well. I really like the look of the stainless steel. The value was a steal. My Kenmore fridge was pretty inexpensive yet worth every penny. It hold up to its standards and value. It works great and held up well.

I have a bottom freezer with an ice maker. I absolutely love it. The ice maker doesnt make huge ice and with the fact I love chewing ice, it makes it perfect. Plus I was able to connect it to my water purifier so I never get hard water in my ice even though we have well water. Another thing I love is the double door refrigerator. It makes it so easy to organize and clean. The only real problem I have found is defrosting the freezer. When you do, it is such a mess.

This refrigerator performs very well. The temperature is always as cold as it should be, dont need to defrost, ice maker is great. I would highly recommend it to anyone. This refrigerator is the perfect size, at least it is for me. It has lots of storage room in both the refrigerator and the freezer. There are lots of shelves which can be adjusted to whatever suits your needs. I love the appearance of this refrigerator. Its black, which matches everything else in my kitchen. I really love it. Its probably the best refrigerator Ive ever owned. The value is great. It wasnt very expensive to begin with. It doesnt use much energy, so it isnt eating up your electric bill like some refrigerators might. I am very glad that I bought it.

After reviewing the Sears website and looking at the complaints I have discovered that the Kenmore Elite has a known issue with the compressor. My fridge is only a little over a year old. The tech ordered my part on Jan 3rd and it still as of today 1/17 shows that the order is pending. Meanwhile my family is trying to live out of a mini fridge. After all the complaints and bad service reviews it should be that they have these parts on hand. This service and inability to get me my part is unacceptable. I spent over 3K on this appliance and to have it go out so soon after purchase is frustrating and I am not getting any answers. I dont recommend Sears.

Kenmore was the brand used in our apartment and that was my first Kenmore experience. When we moved to our house we purchased the same model. Bonus it was on sale. I like the ice maker and bright lights. It is easy to clean which is awesome since we have a toddler who touches everything. The fridge runs quietly even when making ice. But always could use more freezer room. Not really sure how to have that without getting a bigger model. All in all we enjoy it.

It didnt last long. It broke down after a couple years and of course the part it needed cost more than the fridge was worth. I would not recommend at all! Its cheaply made and was very noisy!

I just replaced this refrigerator several months ago from a Samsung. The Samsung ice cube maker was always breaking. My new fridge has better features, and it keeps things fresh for weeks, it’s remarkable.

Two days after installation of Kenmore Elite refrigerator the it started making noise and lights started strobing. We called to make an appointment for repair. They could only give us an 8 hr window. I requested a 30 min call ahead so I could get home from work. Day of appointment repairman calls and says he is in driveway. I told him I was on my way. He said he could wait 15 min, I got home in 12 and he was gone. I called the “help desk” which was zero help. I asked for a supervisor on numerous occasions with no response. She kept reading the same responses from a card. She finally hung up on me as I continued to ask for a supervisor. I called back to “help center”. Absolutely no help. Read same their responses and would not let me talk to supervisor. She said repairman would be here by 10:18, it is now 10:50. I would give my experience a 5 negative stars but system will not allow this.

I purchased this refrigerator (Kenmore Elite French Bottom Refrigerator) in November 2014 at Sears. I also bought a three-year warranty since it was an expensive item. After about six months the refrigerator stopped working and I called for service. It took almost 2 months to get it replaced after many phone calls and aggravation. Now in 2018, the refrigerator and freezer is warm. I called for service and I have an appointment for two weeks from today. This is crazy. After many attempts to contact corporate I got nowhere. I called a local appliance store who handles Kenmore which is an LG refrigerator and he told me that the compressor is gone or you have a Freon leak of which both are expensive to repair and not worth the money. It is very labor intense due to the design. They said they see this all the time with this model. I expected to get more than four years from an expensive appliance. The tech told me that they are made very cheap (South Korea) and parts go very easily. My opinion is this is consumer fraud. You cant expect us to buy a new refrigerator every four years. I know things go wrong but this is a manufacture defect in the design of this refrigerator and the consumer shouldnt have to pay for it. I believe LG will replace the compressor but the labor is at least $1000 and thats if there arent any other parts that need to be repaired. It also needs to be done by an LG tech and this cant take 6 weeks at best. This also doesnt give me a guarantee that it will last another year. When I called Sears all they were interested in getting my appointment scheduled and to sell me another warranty and then ask about my home-improvement. What help can I get. I will file a complaint with BBB and the Attorney General and Consumer Protection and I will try to get the news media to investigate. What a rip off. I hope someone reads this and responds to do the right thing.

We bought a Kenmore Refrigerator Model #25360082412 in April 2016 that went dead in July first week. We called Sears as it was covered by a Master Service Agreement for which we had a hefty fee. It took them two weeks to come and inspect. The technician acted friendly, blamed Sears products (“very poor quality”) and also said that the compressor has gone bad. He also said that in such cases, fridges should be replaced with a new one whereas Sears is pressurizing them to get it fixed. He said he has to order the parts and not sure when the parts would come. When contacted Sears, the reply was that they need to send another technician to confirm what is wrong. Another technician came yesterday and the same scenario all over. It takes awfully long time to get hold of a person to get an answer and the person we were able to get connected said this morning that the first technician had written in his comments that we had refused the repair work. Only after three failures Sears would replace the fridge and that has not happened in our case according to him. We are waiting for the parts to come and have an appointment in ten days to get it installed, assuming the compressor arrives by then. The service by Sears is extremely bad. When you call, you get someone in Philippines who have no knowledge or understanding of appliance breakdowns and mere note takers. In a nutshell, we still have no fridge after six weeks.

Overall, the Kenmore worked great. It definitely kept the refrigerated items cool and the freezer worked great as well. There is also a lot of storage with this refrigerator which is always a good thing especially if you have a large family like mine. My Kenmore was a pretty good size but generally most Kenmore are a pretty big size. This is a good thing because the storage capacity is excellent. I can get a lot of foods, beverages, etc in this refrigerator/freezer with some room to spare. Even with the # of items, it still keeps my products fresh. My Kenmore is silver, although they come in the options of white, black, etc. I just love the silver because it meshed well with the design of my kitchen. I purchased my refrigerator at Home Depot for about 1199. I think I got a good deal because it also included delivery and setup.

I like how it has a filter for the water and how it has ice also. We just got this refrigerator and Im satisfied with all the space it has. My whole family loves this new fridge.

Never had any issues with the temperature control. Numerous drawers inside which keep everything separate between me and my housemates. It is a great size for a small household. We purchased a Sears Kenmore Side by Side refrigerator because the Kenmore name has always been known to be of good quality that lasts for years. Ours started leaking out the front of the ice/water dispenser about 5 years ago, even when it was turned off and unplugged. It in turn caused rust stains on the entire door underneath the dispenser. I have cleaned it off but it keeps coming back - it is not plugged in and we are no longer using it. I finally removed the square piece around the panel to find out what I could. I found out that the area around the dispenser under the plastic panel had eroded away. Now the door is ruined and pieces of it fall off if you try to put the square piece back on the panel. The refrigerator still works well, but we dont have the water hooked up to use the dispenser. Its too embarrassing when guests come over and there is rust running all down the front of the refrigerator.

It was amazing. The best fridge Ive ever had. Reliable, never had any problems and the style I really enjoyed especially that it blends well with my house. The size was perfectly fit to go with my kitchen. Inside was huge and had space for everything I have. All my drinks, all my foods and even the freezer there was plenty of room. Never seen anything like it. The value is what it supposed to be. Cant expected to have a cheap fridge that will hold all your grocery and cook food. Our refrigerator is 9 years old, and we have never had a single problem with it. It still looks like new, and works perfectly. The only maintenance that weve ever had to do is change the water filters twice a year, and even those are very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend a Kenmore refrigerator to anyone. Adjustable shelving is very convenient, and we have no trouble fitting 4 gallons of milk on a single shelf. The drawers are large and the freezer is more than adequate. We have the scrubbed stainless version of this model, and after 9 years, it still looks like new. The shelves are easy to remove and clean, and they still look new. This refrigerator was well worth the price we paid for it. We have always had Kenmore appliances, and they are worth the price. They last longer than other brands, so it is worth an additional cost.

Kenmore Elite Kenmore refrigerator (Model number 59676522500) required frequent service calls. It would have been nice if the repairmen told us that they were repairing the same part over and over again. It is a horrible design flaw. The copper tubing that goes from the compressor to the evaporator runs through the drain pan. The moisture corrodes the tubing causing loss of Freon. The repair is expensive (Sears wanted $900). If we had known the other four repairs were caused by this design flaw, we would have continued the extended service plan which had expired shortly after the last repair. So, this $2,000 refrigerator wasnt built to last even a year. It was repair every year since purchase. It is now 5.8 years old and needed to be repaired again. Youd think they would fix the problem, not just put band aids on it.

Need ice maker. It runs pretty good. I didnt think it would be that good but it was. It holds a lot of food indeed. Lot of room, very quiet motor, didnt use up a lot of power, really great fridge. The size is very big. Have 4 kids so I need a lot of food to stock. Very good shelf space. It didnt cost much money. It provides me some great reliability. Love it so so much. Its stainless and very sleek. My old fridge was white and stained really fast. Now this one is easy to clean, easy to store, easy to use. Its just a really great refrigerator. I like the value. After only 15 months of usage, our $2500 Kenmore Elite (LG) fridge had a compressor fail. 8 days without a refrigerator and labor costs not covered. Repairman said hes seeing a LOT of these boxes have compressors fail, so buyer beware. Extended warranty is outrageously prices -- probably because its likely to fail yet again. I expect a class action suit at some point based on reading online about faulty LG compressors in both Kenmore and LG refrigerators.

The refrigerator cooled appropriately and the freezer was wonderful but overall was a little too small for my taste and preference. It was purchased prior to moving into our home and since it came with the home we had no say in it. I would not go below 22 cubic feet. It was free so I cant complain too much. Also the vegetable bin was not sturdy. It broke 1 year into having appliance. As far as black appliances go, it was fine. Nothing too fancy about it. I have to say in its defense, the exterior was easy to clean. The interior was similar to other refrigerators that Ive seen. If I was purchasing it myself, the value is pretty good. It gets the job done.

Its really exactly what you would/should expect. Its definitely a quality product. I do really love the whole ice machine bit. Buy some Tupperware though. I like to use the crock pot for roasts and what not and it definitely doesnt fit. Size is fine. Breaking up the roast into smaller portions isnt a bad deal though. Makes it ready to take in my lunch that way, anyway. Black, modern, sleek. I mean, its a refrigerator. Not exactly the centrepiece of a room really. It doesnt stand out though, so thats nice. I dont think Ive ever really looked at one made after the 80s or so that I thought was ugly, really. I mean, considering I barely paid for it, Im pretty stoked on the value. I would have happily paid asking price, though.

My Kenmore refrigerator freezes food and insulin even when its thermostat is set as 40 degrees. I have had several repair calls and appointments on this since it was bought in 2009 and this issue is still not resolved. The Customer Service department has told me that my warranty is invalid (which it is not). The customer service today went as far as hanging up on my husband while he was complaining about our refrigerator problem, freezing his insulin.

Sears Kenmore Elite Refrigerator is junk. Weve had our fridge for 5 years and have had repairman out 4 times. Always a hassle and never can diagnose and fix it in one or even two visits. We are done with Sears. Never again.

I have 3 kids and even with them and husband going in and out of it all the time, nothing ever broke or came loose or stopped working. 2: It is very sleek and beautiful 3: There was enough room to store a months worth of groceries for my rather large family. Fits well with a standard sized kitchen but also looks great in my larger sized kitchen. It also comes in different colors to match whatever decor you happen to have. This appliance is sleek and beautiful. It matched my other Kenmore appliances perfectly and its coating is very resistant to staining or fingerprints, unlike many other refrigerators we looked at. For the price we paid, we received an extremely durable, lasting refrigerator. I would recommend it to anyone of my friends who need something that is going to stand the test of time and tons of use!

Kenmore refrigerator 2007 (manufactured by LG) malfunctioned when the inside lights did not go off upon closing the doors. Heat buildup caused the control panel encasement to explode off its binding and heat from the bulbs scorched the light bulb receptacle and melted the butter inside the butter enclosure, and sent it down the whole side of the door. A dog can container was actually hot to the touch from this and the unit had to be unplugged because the bulbs (from the heat) melded to the unit. A fire would definitely have ignited had I not opened the door when I did.

This model and similar line of models is satisfactory for small families - 2 adults and young minor children who likely will need assistance in accessing food storage. The refrigerator is plain, basic appliance, white. No particular special finish and sparkle; it does what its suppose to do. Door handles are pouched in doors; cheaper to manufacture, less materials, and also give a cleaner, more modern design than those bulky handles sticking out from door frame. I bought it because it was convenient and priced right for my spending plan. Its reasonably priced at Sears. But like everything, NOT MADE IN AMERICA components and not sure about the final assembly point. You get what you pay for... Cheap labor in Mexico helps keep down price; thats good for consumer. For price difference in moving up to larger model, better off to buy a cheap stand alone freezer. Its often sold at Wal-Mart and works well enough to cover storage times like the holidays - rather than work that freezer half-full. Of course if you have a family of growing teens, youd probably be better moving up to larger capacity to meet your food storage needs.

Generally the Kenmore 795.76209.900 fridge has worked fine for the 3 years Ive had it. Complaints include I can put up with a few dents from the ultra thin sheet metal cabinet (Does it really have to be that thin??!! Can almost dent it with fingernail!!!), but the cheap plastic freezer compartment guide rail takes the cake. It broke, now I feel like Ive BEEN HAD paying $75.00 with shipping for the replacement part. Am worried the other side will break as well, so trying not to use the upper freezer rack for a week until the part arrives. Otherwise I would REALLY FEEL CHEATED for way over a hundred dollars for $2 worth of molded plastic that should have been made more durable in the first place.

One reason we brought this. Price and it is a Kenmore product. Backed by Sears service though have never used it. None of the shelves or door shelves have broke.

Its hard to trust a newer company when making high money purchases. Kenmore is a solid well-trusted name. They are known for quality and durability. Sometimes reputation is worth more than added bells and whistles. I like the option of switching the side the door opens on. I like the adjustable shelves and the depth of the door space. Reliable, good lighting, warning if door left ajar, leak-catch shelved. However, if there were a way to make the walls thinner while retaining the same insulation, that would increase space available. I would like pull out shelves, I would make the alarm a little louder. I might add a air filter that is changeable. It was a worthwhile purchase.

It was my first time buying one. I was pleased. It was easy to clean. It was enough space and it made my kitchen look even better. I would buy it again but Im still enjoying my first one. Kenmore has always produced great products. If you were on a budget, this is the way to go. Very nice fridge for the price. The interior of the refrigerator is very spacious and drawer size was excellent. The cooling was very good and it kept a constant temperature, in the refrigerator and freezer. My personal choice for a freezer would be on the bottom. But the top freezer worked fine. It is just a matter of taste. But didn’t have an ice maker. My current washer and fryer are Kenmore too, and I’m very happy with them.

Bought our refrig off sales floor at reduced cost Sears store. There were no visible signs that it was bumped or bruised, but it was a good deal and has met our needs. It has a side by side design so that the freezer section is easy to access and readily see its contents.

The refrigerator kept most of the food cold, however it had poor vegetable humidity control. The meat container sections were well-spaced but I prefer have a single compartment instead of using a multi-spaced compartment area to store your rock-hard meats. The refrigerator was well-spaced and it had decent legroom for standing inside of it, however when it comes to freezer room, there was not enough space. Yes it was overall not great.

We have had it for about a year now and normally our other freezers would start having issues, but this one has not and keeps everything super cold. It has a lot of space and it is easy to store things. With all the drawers it makes organizing so easy. And I like that its wire, it makes it easy to clean. It is very clean in appearance. I like the white color, it keeps it classic. The inside is also white as is the wire shelves and the shelves on the door. It was a great price. Normally we have our freezers break after about three years and half to buy a new one so it was great that this one wasnt very expensive.

The freezer has enough room to take advantage of any sale you come across. The frigerated part has enough room to do the same. Coming in either black or white it goes with any decor that you may have. It as well has a number of shelves inside. It as well has a couple crispers. I find good value in the fact that I have had it a number of years problem free. I as well find extreme value in the fact it does have enough room to allow me to take advantage of a good sale.

It works great. It keeps my food really cold and the freezer freezes really well. I love the ice maker and the water parts as well. The filter lasts really long. I have moved it twice and had no problems. Like I previously stated the refrigerator part is a good size. I just wish the freezer was a bit bigger. I have a large family and buy groceries in bulk and have to really make them fit in the freezer. I love the stainless steel. It is very shiny and matches my other stainless steel appliances and very easy to clean. I would have to say it stands out among my other appliances. I like the inside as well. I like the fact that you can adjust the shelves to your liking. I would have to say the value was very good. I caught it during a promotion so that helped out a lot. It was also delivered to my home free so that was a big plus.

I chose and always use Kenmore because it has always worked for me for a really long time and has always met my standard. Its very reliable and I love how big and spacious it is. But the thing I disliked about it was that the freezer and the bottoms drawers are kinda small. Could have been a little bigger. And I wish there were more colors to choose from.
