It worked well for the price. It lasted a few years before I had to replace it. Overall I did enjoy it for the quality cleaning it provided for me and my clothes. It lasted a long time and managed to keep my clothes dry and clean without taking a long time. It was a quality piece of machinery that makes me want to go and get another. The look is very professional and clean, without being too distracting. I enjoy its quiet presence, not needing to be flashy to be appealing to consumers. I would buy another soon. The washer and dryer are worth the price for the amount of time they last. I feel that it is important to find a good deal, and these two are just that for anyone on a budget.

I have had my Kenmore washer and dryer for about 14 years and have not had any problems with either of them. They are the smart operation manage type so you can set up the cycles to get the best results and save money and time.

Works great. Keeps food perfect! The freezer keeps everything ice cold. Love the space. Does not take up a bunch of unnecessary energy. Very economical and convenient. One of the best refrigerators I have ever had. I highly recommend this brand. It does not take space although it is quite large from the inside which make it very special. I can put everything in the refrigerator cause I have enough space to put all the food in there.The refrigerator is amazing and I like the way it looks. I chose the grey color since it fits with my kitchen and I with any other color. It is also very easy to clean because of the good material used to manufacture it. Does not attract hardly any dust or lint. Has sturdy door handles. Because its energy efficient I save on my monthly electric bill. Also my food stay fresher longer. All drinks get cool quick and stay cool so my grocery bill is manageable.

All of my washers and dryers are front load and have multiple selections on each one like the washer, hand washable, delicate, normal, casual, heavy duty, sanitary. The dryer has multiple selections also as delicate, casual, normal, bulky items, heavy duty and you can breeze the level of heat on the dryer. These have both lasted me 5 years and still going, so the quality and the reliability are very excellent. I have not had any problems with any overloading on water or breaking down on the dryer. Neither one has had any problems at all.The way both of them look they are both front-loaders and it helps with easy access of the clothes and it doesnt make noise like the top loaders when they end up going out. Theyre white, got a clear window that you can look through to see if its being overloaded or if its done or whatever. These washers have been very helpful. The price cost was not much at all. It did cost a little but it was not enough to make it to where I would not want to buy it.

I have purchased most of my appliances through Sears over the last decade. Considering how many large purchases Ive made thru the years I was shocked that when I went to Sears for help about my washer which we purchased 5 years ago they refused to help me because I did not purchase the extended warranty. In all fairness I NEVER thought that a Kenmore Elite washing machine would be Covered with RUST on the inside within 5 year. When you open the lid to the machine it looks like its 25 yrs old. It has completely eaten away in some sections around the detergent and bleach dispensers and the rear side around the rim. I am afraid to wash my childrens clothes in it and feel it is ridiculous that I should have to replace a washer every five years because it is covered in rust.I have never had any issues with my past purchases from sears. It is a shame that the first time I go to them with a product issue they refuse to assist me. This should NOT happen to a product in such a short time and when it does I would hope that Sears would stand behind their products realizing that if this is happening the product was poorly made and is now resulting in issues that are a health concern. If I wanted to be Replacing a wash machine every 5 years I would have gone with the cheapest machine and not Wasted my money on a Kenmore Elite. I have spent hours trying to get assistance from Sears. I Really was hoping to have someone help me.I called the store that I purchased it from and the Store Owner HUNG up on me when I asked for the DMs phone number to help me resolve this. He told me that I took responsibility for the product after the first year because I did not purchase the extended plan. So I guess Consumers need to buy the extended warranty because their Kenmore washers will be covered with rust within a few years. Buyers Beware. I also called customer solutions, they said they were sorry that there was nothing they could do. They said I could call LG who is the maker of the Kenmore Elite because it sounds like it could be a manufacturing issue.I then called LG and they directed me back to sears saying they have an agreement with Sears to produce their product and then sell it so if I have a problem I need to go to Sears. Again I have a 2, 5 and 7 year old so spending hours on the phone and getting nowhere is extremely frustrating. I have been sent in circles for months and have gotten nowhere. I have never filed any complaint with a company but at this point I want to save other customers the nightmare that Ive had dealing with Sears and how they Dont stand behind their products.It saddens me to think that I have been a loyal customer purchasing two refrigerators, 2 washers and dryers, snowblower etc. over the past 9 years and when I need help on one thing Im told sorry. I regret that I have given Sears all my business for major appliances over the past decade. I want buyers to be aware that Sears is selling Kenmore Elites that will be covered in rust within a few years and that Sears will not help them when this happens. I have attached pictures of what my Kenmore looks like after five years of ownership. I will definitely be shopping elsewhere for all of my appliances because Sears does not value or assist their customers when there is an issue with their product.

We looked for awhile for a good and dependable washer and dryer and eventually found the Kenmore top loading washer and front loading dryer at a good price. We have used the washer and dryer for a number of years now and they have performed admirably and without issues.

It was the first washer I bought and used it for many years. In the market to buy another one. Great product. Bought a different brand that didnt hold up as well. Definitely prefer the Kenmore brand to the last washer I had. My Kenmore dryer is very old but it still works. May have to get a set.

We purchased a complete set of SEARS ELITE Kenmore frontload washer & dryer, plus drawers that go under each machine & last thing was metal cap/shelf that goes on top/across machines to keep items from behind or between machine gap is great for folding station. This is a wonderful set. It has all the bells & whistles I could ask for on both washer/dryer. Washer has a huge stainless steel drum that is great for doing large or very small loads. It save water & detergent. Dryer has capability of doing those large load or very small, it can do time set or automatic dryer. We use the TOUCH UP option when we miss taking a completed load out of dryer immediately & fold or hang. This complete system is wonderful. We have had this set since 2008 with no problem. I would definitely recommend this set to anyone.

Kenmore has always been a top brand when it comes to washer and dryers. Every home that I have had I made sure that Kenmore was installed. They are big enough on the inside and yet still compact to fit in any space.

I have only owned Kenmore washer and dryer brand. Absolutely wonderful and they truly last!!! My two sets I have owned were hand me downs and the first set lasted 11 years with NO issues, we just decided to upgrade so I sold them. My next purchase will be the same.

The price was reasonable and the features of the Kenmore was getting my approval. The Kenmore washer has a fast clean cycle and was very good at cleaning dirt off of my loads. It washes things to perfection without damaging my clothes. The Kenmore dryer was very fast at drying my clothes and the heat didnt destroy my soft delicates. Some dryers are too harsh with the drying process. This Kenmore dryer was an energy efficient product.

I probably paid more than I should have for the washer & dryer. We have relatives who bought LG washer & dryer similar to our Kenmore that cost about $500.00 less. We bought Kenmore because I thought if we ever needed parts or service we wouldnt have any problems getting them.

I bought my Kenmore washer and dryer set at a low price on Black Friday one year. It was a matching set both were white with gray knobs which added a nice touch to my gray laundry room. The washer was a top loader and the dryer was a front loader. Also, the set was very reliable. The washer cleaned clothes thoroughly and the dryer dried my clothes in barely any time at all. In fact, I used the set for 5 years and after all that time, it still worked just as good as the first day I bought it. I feel like I could have sold them at 5 years old for the same price. It was definitely worth the money! I loved my Kenmore washer and dryer set.

My Kenmore washer lasted over 15 years with no problems. I still have the dryer. I never has to call a repair man. The next washer I purchased lasted 8 years and I had to call the repair man several times. It was not a Kenmore.

I have purchased a Kenmore double stacked washer and dryer that has never failed me. I loved to use this for all my washing need. Its quiet and really gets my clothes clean. It has great reliability. It has never broke down. Its smart washer and dryer to have. I love the big cycles that it can capacitate. I have a good size one. It is silver. It is a kind of chrome style. Its very shiny. It is very appealing. I like this clover because it is great. It has a large drum for maximum use. It is a washer and dryer that I would recommend. Im not really sure what else you want me to say about it. I think that this is a great value for what I got. It is very durable. I have had it for quite a couple of years. I love the way it performs and could not ever see myself with it.

The dryer works awesome. Clothes get dried really fast. Easy to run. Doesnt cost much to run. Looks great. I have it in my main floor bathroom. Not like the older days when you kept ugly washer and dryers down in the cellar so you didnt have to look at them. Dryer was very reliable. I used to set the timer and the clothes would be dry faster than most other dryers I have owned in the past. Also love all the settings on the dryer. Never have to guess on the time you need. Love the appearance of this dryer. I couldnt believe the price I got the set for. I havent seen anything come even close to the price I paid for my set. I shopped all over trying to find something even close to this set and everything I found were at least double the price.

Very efficient drying clothes no matter how much clothes are inside. Lint was easy to remove after drying clothes also. It also had plenty of space for clothes. Very durable, never had heating element go out or any other issues. I had a warranty on the dryer but never had to use it. I think it was very good at drying clothes. Dryer was white in color and front loading for adding clothes to it. It has a see through door which you can watch your clothes dry. It has also a metal frame For the price of the dryer I feel it has had great value and last a very long time. I feel its a great dryer with nice features for anyone to use.

We purchased a Kenmore Elite front load washer and dryer in 2011. In the same year that the one-year warranty expired, the washer quit working. The Sears repairman informed us that the motherboard on the washer was bad. The cost to replace was just under $1,000 and it was not covered by warranty. A washer that costs $2,000 should last much longer than a year. The laws in most states impose a warranty of merchantability on sellers and manufacturers. If a seller puts an item on the market, it is required by law to make sure that the product is fit for its stated purpose. Now less than 10 months later, the brand new motherboard has failed again. I spoke with both the Sears and the Kenmore service representatives, who were polite. However, they were unable to offer anything satisfactory. Both offered a $320, 1-year warranty that covers repairs up to $500. Anything over $500 comes out of my pocket. Basically, a $180 benefit which is not a real benefit. I will probably sue Sears and Kenmore for the defective product to recover the purchase and repair expense. This has nothing to with their stated warranty, which is contract law. I definitely will not buy anything else from Sears or Kenmore until they improve their products and repair policy. I have seen many other similar complaints about this washer. It should have been recalled.

This is definitely a brand I would recommend over Whirlpool which I have now. Kenmore products last longer and the clothes always seem cleaner. I had this washer for like 7 years and never had much problem with it. With the Whirlpool product I have now it seems like Ive called the repair company at least 8 times and I have only had the washer about 4 years. To me all washers look the same. Just some may be taller and a different color but what matters is how it performs on your clothes and if theres a warranty on the machine. The value of any washer/dryer is going to be expensive but the main thing is the performance it does on clothes and for me Kenmore products are definitely worth the value.

We went to Sears to purchase a pair (washer and dryer combo) Kenmore Elite Top Loading Washer 79631623310 and a front loader dryer of the same brand. All of our appliances come from Sears and I believe every washer-dryer that we ever purchased in the 32 years of our marriage have been from Sears. My complaint is that clothes - sheets and anything that I put inside this new washer, comes very wrinkle. I never had experienced this before with any other machines. Same thing from the dryer (I just learned from the Sears service man that the washer is more to blame that the dryer.) I wrote a complaint in different boards including MY SEARS and a person from Sears called me; today I have a Sears service person in my house. I showed him clothes that I recently washed and dried, and he could see how wrinkle all of them they were. I had a pair of pants, shirts of different textures, t shirts, and sheets. He called someone from the manufacturer and for what I heard, I am THE ONLY CUSTOMER COMPLAINING FOR THIS, which to me is unbelievable since I had this problem in every wash I do; so I cant be the only person having this problem, or writing a complaint. To be fair, the service person is still here, but from listening to his conversation I can anticipate that this complaint is going nowhere! The manufacturer has rendered the verdict! I am very frustrated because I still owe $1,400.00 on these pair and I cannot imagine having to go through the same thing for at least 10 more years, which was the duration of my last set which by the way was superior in every way to these very modern machines. I feel that I am on the right and Sears and the manufacturer cannot tell me that this is not happening to me. I wrote the order number from Sears service today. I was a very dissatisfy customer who is now frustrated and upset.

Kenmore stackable washer/dryer - I think its ridiculous that you spend over a 1000.00 on an appliance and cant even buy parts for it. You have to order them and wait days!!!! If Sears is going to sell them they should carry parts. I should not have to pay 2 service charges. Rip off.

I always trust the Kenmore name to deliver a quality product for a good value with a good reputation. I would recommend this dryer to anyone who wants a reliable appliance. This dryer is big enough to hold a large load of laundry. I like the fact that we have had it for many years and its been reliable. It has a streamlined look. This appliance will fit in with any decor. It doesnt stand out but it blends in well. Its a good addition to any laundry room. This appliance does what its supposed to do and it does so at a good price.

We purchased top of the line Kenmore washer and dryer, although the wash is good, every new towel that was washed and dried have been ruined, they look like they went thru a war. This set has stainless steel inserts about 2 years old.

After 35 years of faithful performance by my Maytag washing machine, without one single service call, it finally bit the dust this last May 2015. As I have had generally good luck in the past with my Kenmore products both in my home and several rentals we have, I dutifully did my research on a new Kenmore washer (I dont even remember if it was an HE or not as this is a new term for this 76 year old woman). Upon telling the salesperson which machine I wanted she immediately told me that no, I didnt want to buy that particular item because there were a lot of complaints about it and she steered me to this other machine (in retrospect I believe this was a good old bait and switch) which miraculously could wash up to 27 large towels in its cavernous belly. No mention was made about where you would dry these 27 towels of course.Anyway, I was impressed and thats what I bought. Although after only five months I have not experienced any of the horror stories as told by others, I am extremely disappointed in the performance of this machine, from the tangled clothes, poor cleaning results (which could be because of the extremely low water level) and the lint that clings to the wet clothes even though Ive programmed for 2 rinses, and which is not necessarily removed in the dryer. I do not like this washer in the least bit and after reading the complaints written by hundreds of others, I only wish I had read them all earlier. But knowing what might be lying in wait for me, I can say that Im happy I buckled under the pressure and bought the extended warranty that the salesperson almost pleaded with me to buy. She must have known I would need it sooner than later.

I have no complaints other than it doesnt control lint as well as the old one did. Overall its pretty good. I pre-soak bad stains and it does a good job of washing them out. It hasnt asked yet but this is a stacker washer dryer unit...about 15 years old now.

We have had no problem with the Kenmore washer or dryer that we have had for over 8 years. We even had my children and grandchildren living with us at one point. This meant multiple loads of laundry since the children were in diapers and they were cloth diapering.

I have owned and used my Kenmore washer dryer made by Whirlpool since I purchased it new in 2007. These are the front load units and came in pretty colors. Mine is blue. The dryer is gas. I have had zero problems and zero complaints. They are still going strong 10 years later and have provided us, a young family of 4, with dependable service. I would buy another Kenmore/Whirlpool in a heartbeat. Too bad I cant buy more 2007 models in new condition. Knock on wood for another 10 years of dependable service. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Kenmore 4.3 cu. ft. Top Load Washer w/ Exclusive Triple Action Impeller - White... I bought this because of the ratings from others. This was my first experience with an HE washer and I was hesitant but since I could not find a reliable/well rated old fashioned washer like I wanted, I took the plunge and I was EXTREMELY glad I did! Kenmore 65132 7.0 cu. ft. Electric Dryer w/ SmartDry Plus Technology White. I bought this because it was the match to the washer. The clothes really come out so much cleaner and although this is not a super capacity washer compared to other models I was able to wash a king size comforter (yippee) however I cannot say the same for the dryer. It did fit in but there was not much room for tumbling so I had to stop and reposition it myself several times to ensure complete drying. Note to self-> in the future dont buy the matched pair especially since there was no cost savings in doing so. Other than that it dries fine. I dont need a lot of bells and whistles so I looked for a basic washer. Good ratings are paramount if I dont have a relatives or friends recommendation; and of course I always want to find it on sale with free delivery. Having repair issues are always a red flag but especially since our set-up is on the second floor I avoided any models w/ reviews that had a mention of leak issues. This is a basic full size washer with a lot of different settings to choose from if needed (Normal; Delicates; Bulky/Bedding; Whites; Heavy Duty; Casual; DeepWash; Express; Soak). The dryer has the usual basic cycles. It has a end of cycle buzzer that can be switched to off if so desired. There is an inside light. The door opens down (instead of to the side) which is nice to catch what is being taken out. The washer/dryer pair ran about $947.00 after discounts.

This dryer is a Great value! I would buy this again or recommend this product to friends or family members. It is very reliable.

Upon installation by the delivery crew this dryer (Kenmore 67132 Electric) gave them a PF error message and would not start. They replaced the power cord and said it was fine. Ten minutes after they left it failed to start again and gave us the PF error. Sears replaced the dryer with a new one and after a few weeks it started giving us the PF error again leaving us with an unusable dryer. We also ordered the Kenmore washer 26132 4.8 cu. ft top loader and were dissatisfied with that as well. It look a very long time for a cycle to complete and most times our clothes ended up still dirty, still stinky, some areas were not even wet and some clothes had a white residue on them. Both appliances were returned.

My dryer is easy to use. It has a dial to turn to what setting the dryer needs to be on for your load of clothing. It is simple to use. It is a straightforward dryer. I dont like the lint trap because if it gets overly full the material will drop down into the machine, and the material is hard to get out of the dryer. Currently I need to clean the lint out of the machine because the dryer is not drying as effectively, and that is my only complaint about the dryer. Otherwise it is a great dryer.

My daughter gave me her brand new Kenmore Elite Oasis washer and dryer. The appliances were reinstalled by professional tradesman who has installed hundreds of appliances. Right from the beginning the washer did not clean clothes properly. There were clumps of dirt and pints on the clothes, requiring repeated washings. The spin cycle would show unbalanced sign and stop. It did not matter if the clothes were redistributed or some or most taken out, the machine was just hung and it took most of the day to spin one load dry. I had to wring my clothes by hand on many occasions and put it in the dryer half wet. Not long after it was not spinning, it started to make clucking sounds as if someone was changing gears improperly. Then it started to leak. All over the laundry room. I cleaned all connections, replaced the hose screens, had it balanced etc. It would leak a little, but on second wash it leaked all out again. Called Sears and was told I was on my own as they did not honor any defects and warranty was past. This in my opinion is criminal. Selling defective products and doing nothing to fix the problems. Shame on you Sears! Needless to say I wont be fixing this washer, as I have also been told it is futile to do so.

Always worked. Never had any problems getting clothes clean using this washer. Was always an everyday user. Never had any mechanical issues. Very reliable. Was able to keep up with 2 toddlers in the house. Kept clothes clean and never once doubted its reliability. I washed clothes on a daily basis most times and it always seems to get the job done. Was easy to clean. Didnt have any rust like a lot of the older models of the washers. Always looked brand new. Very nice looking models. Very budget friendly. Didnt cost a fortune to purchase. Maintenance on it was very cheap. The load capacity helped with water bill and dryer was very cheap on electric...

Uses low water and cleans well. The dryer dries fast and is very quiet. Easy to balance. The washer cleans very well with low spin rumble. I love this washer... great warranty and long lasting product. I have had mine for a few years and never had any problem with either even the paint holds up to many uses and loads. I like the appearance... its compact but yet big enough for large and extra large family laundry loads. Easy to read controls and a very hard and sturdy paint finish. After a lot of physical in-store research and online searches the was the best price around for this great washer and dryer combo. With the great warranty its even a better value.

This dryer is amazing because it cut down tremendously on my drying time, saving me both time and energy and also money on my electricity bill. It also efficiently dries everything without me having to run the dryer more than once. Very reliable, no matter what Im drying, even very large loads of laundry. This is the dryer to get it done gently, quickly, and successfully. Totally happy with the way this dryer looks. Clean, white, and controls and switches are easy to see and operate. Totally aesthetically pleasing. This dryer is worth its value and then some, considering I plan on having this dryer for many years to come, and it hasnt given me a single problem yet.

Cut our electric bill down from our last dryer. We love it and will only own Kenmore. It dries in super fast time and weve never had an issue. It has super clear instructions and buttons, even my kids use it with no problems. We highly recommend this dryer to anyone. VERY VERY reliable. It dries in one third of the time our old dryer took. It has saved us so much money. Kenmore is the best. Most useful investment we have ever bought. Very easy to use and functional. Simple buttons and options. We paid a very very good price for ours. We had a rebate and it was on sale. Weve never been more happy with any appliance. Kenmore is the only way to go when it comes to brand names.

It worked well. High efficiency, fairly quiet and durable. It lasted a long time with little repair needed. That is what I have for today. We had to replace a part but I dont remember which one it was. It was very reliable. You will like it. Everyone should get one and be happy with it. It was a nice white color, very appealing and clean looking and it had aggressive styling, better than most boxy washer and dryer. Its a freaking dryer. Very good value. We paid cash and received a discount. We didnt do financing because we dont want to be locked into a payment plan when we dont need to.

Poor quality on Model 1105072012 Kenmore washer. We bought this washer, and a dryer on 3/17/2015. The washer was so noisy, we took it back. Second washer had a broken pump, and flooded the house. This is the 3rd one, and after 1 year it simply stopped, with the lid lock light flashing. Couldnt get it to self diagnose, so I bought a new lid lock ($56), and after running for part of a cycle it did it, again. Called the store... And SURPRISE!!! They have no record of the sale OR the extended warranty!! Same type of problems with the toaster, and coffee maker, so we will NEVER buy ANYTHING from Sears/Kmart, again!! Since we cant find the receipt, its a lost cause.

We purchased this in April 2016. We used it about 5 times before troubles began. The machine would stop mid cycle, would not drain. Unless I stood there and watched it, there was no telling when it had stopped. A Sears repairman came out to fix it. He did a reset on it, suggested I unplug it after every wash in case a power outage happened, and told me he would definitely be back for future repairs. Now it is January 2017. We use the machine for maybe three washes a week, since its a second home. The washer stops mid cycle. Doesnt drain. The sensor clicks on and off. Its super fun. I start it, optimistically, on a normal cycle. I hear it stop working, find it full of water. I do a drain/spin. Seems logical - its full of water! It doesnt usually work. I unplug/restart again, do a rinse/spin. Works! But my clothes havent been washed. Unplug/restart express wash a few times. Tonight I actually handwashes my kids clothes. Thank god the dryer works every time. I dont think we will even waste the $75 on the repairman. Never again, Kenmore. Hard to believe this machine hasnt been recalled.

We have never had any issues with our Kenmore refrigerator or our washer and dryer. Their products are very reliable. Technical support is always available and the products last a very long time. It fits everything that we need it to and space is never an issue. I have 3 kids so were always stocked up on food which is fresh and frozen. It looks very modern. Their products are always of a modern look and style. They definitely keep up with the times. The value is always more than worth it. The products hold up over time and I would match them up against any other on the market from fancy to run of the mill.

I owned a Kenmore washer and dryer many many years ago. The first set lasted over 20 years with only a few minor repairs. I was impressed and replaced these with a 2nd set. These lasted less than 10 years. The quality isnt what it used to be. Kenmore is not alone in this as few things are made to last these days. My Kenmore appliances were new over 40 years ago and they were your basic avocado green which by todays standards would be ugly. At the time they were purchased this was very nice. The set I owned so long ago were a great value. I purchased Whirlpool approximately 10-15 years ago because I felt they were a better value.

I am so very frustrated. I bought a stacked Kenmore washing machine/dryer in the Bahamas in 2013... I used the machine a couple times and left six weeks later for Europe where I spend six months of the year. I returned six months later and the washing machine did not work... for the nine months that I had it, it did not work most of the time. We are two people in a household. We replaced the same parts twice to no resolve... the parts have never work. I paid $2,500 for this machine. Parts cost $500. The Kenmore washer/dryer serial number is RS01725C Model 2661532210.... PLEASE HELP!!!

I only had one problem with washer. A leaking component in the front middle needed to be replaced after warranty expired. Cost about $135.00. Still works great after 22 years. No problems with the dryer.

Love the new technology of them especially being front load and having different settings and temperature controls and the use of less laundry detergent and the sensor with the dryer to adjust drying times so you dont need to use more power than you need to. Only complaint is how dirty the front load washer gets in the rim by the door. And also that the pedestal are not included in the price as a cheaper option. 249.00 a piece is way too much. But to get the height which is what I needed and why I wanted front load so we dont have to bend over cause as you age that gets impossible.

Sometimes I wish I had a little bigger washing tub but it is a brand I never had a problem with. So I would always purchase this brand because of its reputation. The brand appearance is fine, I dont need all the bells and whistles like some people. Regular washer and dryer are fine for me. It has all the recommended settings that are really reliable as well as having a wonderful warranty. Kenmore has been around for a really long time and it is a great brand at a great price so I would recommend it to everyone.

I have owned my Kenmore for about 3 years now and it still run like it is brand new. My mother had used Kenmore while she was raise me and my brother and sisters. And she was very happy about it so it was kind of passed along to me. I will never change what type of washer and dryer machine I own. I am a customer for life.

When I wash my sheets and pillow cases I end up with brown feather-like marks on them. This has happened on brand new sheets. Ive attached a picture so you can see what I mean. The sheets arent ripped but these marks keep appearing - not sure if its the washer or dryer that causes this. I have Kenmore Elite machines purchased in 1999. These marks dont appear on my clothes. They appear on all different brands of sheets.

Kenmore is of the best choice of washing and drying machines but they do not last thirty years like washers and dryers used too. I for one am in need of New washer and dryer but can not afford one at this time. Have stretched self repair to my limits.

The washer has many different options which is great for my husbands heavy soiled work clothes, extra large load option plus a second rinse and a soak option for my pretreated items. Love it. I can always count on my dryer. I never have to dry more than once. I love the quick wrinkle setting, great for work clothes. The air only works great for rugs and pillow. My washer and dryer are good old fashion white. Pretty simple, no extreme amounts of buttons. Also pretty easy to use, not difficult. Plus a buzzer mute option. My washer and dryer value is priceless. They have paid for themselves repeatedly. I would recommend them to everyone.

4It looks better than some of the other options we considered. It was reasonably priced too for what we paid for it. There were some that were less money but this seemed to be a better value. The salespeople at Home Depot were extremely helpful and open. It has a capacity that is enough for our needs. It is also not super bulky and fits neatly in our laundry closet. The dryer is stacked on top of it. Its very reliable and it isnt too noisy. We use it at least once a day and the clothes come out smelling great and thoroughly clean.

Kenmore series100 - This washer just doesn’t get it done. Our first so called HE washer. The quality is poor. Too many plastic parts. The cleaning ability is abysmal. Even a small load comes out with lint and gunk not rinsed out. Whatever happened to old school washers? Why were they so bad that they don’t make them anymore? Our last machine was 25 years old before I repaired it myself. After 30 years the transmission gave up. Time for something new? Too bad! After 7 months the locking switch device malfunctioned. It was warranty and the repairman said, Get ready to buy another machine in 5 years. What a joke.

Above expectations, outperforms any other appliance I ever owned. Would highly recommend to any and all I come in contact with. Outperforms all other makes and is very energy efficient. The name speaks for itself. Am expecting many more years of reliable service. Very aerodynamic. Fits in with any decor and colors are very attractive. Best around and would highly recommend. My washer and dryer is Kenmore brands. Model is 20222 and 60222. They are very old and still work for me. Since have them it never made problem to me. I wanted to get a new model Kenmore. I love this brand and would recommend it to my friends. It is very good value for me to have Kenmore. This brand is reputation for long time and good quality, durable.

I purchased the Kenmore Elite Washing Machine and compatible Dryer, in Sep of 2012. As of this date, Sep 9, 2015, I have been utterly disappointed with its performance as a washing machine, as it does not wash clothes, it get them wet, wrinkles them up, and spins them out. Clothes do not come clean. But, the great news is, today it completely EXPLODED! I mean that it blew up, the top, the whole top, not just the lid and the control panel, but the entire top blew off, the machine blew apart, blowing a holes in the drywall, denting the adjoining dryer, as you will see in my photos. Sears and Kenmore will do nothing about it, stating it is out of warranty. Well... I will not ever set foot in Sears again, and I will never buy another Kenmore product again. See attached photos for the damage. This machine blew itself three feet away from the wall, and as you can see, would have seriously hurt someone if they had been pulling clothes out of the dryer at the moment of destruction.

The washer and dryer was durable. It last a long time with no problems. It got my clothes very clean and it never broke down. I would recommend this washer to a friend. I have always been happy because it gave me no problems. It performed great, economic on water use and energy efficient, stable, cleans well. Has different cycles. The appearance was nice and the capacity is very large so you can get laundry done in a timely manner. Its energy efficient. It is a great value whatever price you pay and of high quality.

Ive had our washing machine and dryer for over 10 years and cant say enough great things about it! Its a champ! Our household does roughly 10 loads of laundry a week and its never had a bit of trouble with such heavy usage! Ive never had to call and have it repaired or serviced in any way!!!

It works every time I use it so I am happy that I havent had to fix the dryer. My washer is me more and I havent had to get that fixed either. I am overall happy with my experience. My washer and dryer both seem to be very reliable. I do laundry every week and it always works for me. Sometimes it makes a loud noise but it seems to fix itself. I consider it reliable. I guess the appearance of my washer and dryer is fine. They are both placed in the basement so it doesnt matter very much. If we move them upstairs I will want more attractive machines. My value on these machines is very good because they were given to my boyfriend and I and we havent had to put any money into them to keep them working.

It is very quiet when working & dries clothes very quickly. The dryer is very good value for money in my opinion. I have had no problems since buying the dryer. My dryer is very reliable and it has been consistent since the day I bought it. I have never had any problems with it. I can fit a full load in if needed. It can fit comforters and pillows as well. It looks basic - clean, white and would fit in with any color scheme or decor. It more or less matches my washer even though it is an older washer. This dryer was actually the cheapest in the whole store, although it works as good as my old more expensive one. I think it has been great value for money so far. I hope it lasts long.

I had it for several years and I didnt have a single problem with it. Best investment I ever made. Unfortunately after a long while it did break down. This washer or dryer was insanely reliable. In the time span that I owned this machine, it didnt break down a single time. There is nothing more reliable than this. This looked very modern in my house. It was very stylish. The best part about it is it is one of the only washer or dryers out there that look good and perform well. There is no other machine out there that you can get more out of your money for. It is relatively cheap and performs as if it were the most expensive washer our there.

It works great. It cleans the clothes well, is big enough for a family and it is the only brand I would own. I have never had a problem with any of them I owned. I have had 6 washer and dryers over the years, bought brand new and they lasted over 10 years. They are very reliable. I would not own anything other than this brand. They are great looking. They are well put together, not too complicated to use. They come in many colors to suit your decor. They are easy to use. They are very cost effective, do not cost a lot like most washer and dryers. I feel they are the best for the price and quality. They last longer than the ones that cost a lot more.

Kenmore 700S Washer - I was so excited to get this new washer and dryer, as Ive had great experience in the past with this brand. The top load with no agitator has great capacity for my larger loads, including sheets and blankets. The problem is this... My stuff is NOT getting clean. Every time I pull stuff out it has white residue all over it and I have to rewash it. Im beyond frustrated! Makes me want to go back to a front loader I guess. The dryer is great.

I thought I was going to get better performance from the cleaner. It was average. The dryer was ok. But expecting the cleaner to do above average of its function. It did clean the clothes but not in a above average kind of way. It lasted me for few years, except the washer had a problem in the second year of purchasing it. Good thing I had a warranty so the washer was replaced but the hassle of customer service people it was a nightmare but eventually I got a washer. Personally I like newer digital models, and the washers with doors opening from the side but those were too expensive but for my budget and my choice within my budget I was ok with the appearance of the washer and dryer. I wasnt happy with price tag for both washer and dryer, but I needed a washer and a dryer for the house. The price was steep when I purchased it but it seemed really steep when the washer broke down after two years of purchasing it.

My Kenmore washer and dryer were both very satisfactory products. Used the washer and dryer for 10+ years. The only reason I no longer have the washer and the dryer is because I sold my home and the buyer really wanted both the washer and dryer as part of the sale. The washer was of good size that accommodated large loads of laundry.

They came in a house I bought which was 3 years old, so I assume the machines were the same age. I kept the house for 6 more years before selling and the appliances went with the house. In the time I had them, the only problems I had were the centrifugal fabric dispenser needed periodic cleaning as it would develop a heavy coating on it and I did have to replace one heating element in the dryer. Being Kenmore, that was owner serviceable.

I have had this Kenmore gas (Whirlpool) dryer since 1986! 3 years ago I had to replace the motor, so along with that I replaced the drum belt, rollers and igniter. Parts are readily available and being handy I did all the work. People seem to discard large appliances without even seeing if they can be repaired.

I have had a Kenmore washer and dryer for 13 years and have never had a problem. They are awesome! They both work really well. Over those 13 years we have never had any problems. I would definitely recommend Kenmore products.

I find the looks of the washer quite appealing, of course its just a standard white washer, sitting in my laundry room, but I do like its looks. My wash has never looked cleaner since I got this washer. I love the washer, works great, clothing is cleaner, very little noise. It is a HE dryer, but the detergent is very easy to find. I find the value very good. Before buying the washer we priced many different brands. But felt this was the best washer with the best price. It gave us the best bang for our buck! I have had the washer over two years. I do a lot of laundry and so far it has never failed me. Works as good today as the first day I got it.

We bought this washer in ginger color and it started to rust in the top around the soap dispenser. We contacted Sears and we were told that rusting was not covered in their warranty, and they wanted us to buy their additional warranty policy. The washer has continued to rust and it looks terrible. I believe that they didnt put a protective seal on the paint. The washer and dryer are in an inside laundry room.

It was very simple and easy to use. Put it on what time you wanted it to run (or by type) and hit the start button. It also would sound when it was drying. It was nice knowing it was time to get my clothes out. I hate wrinkles. When I had my Kenmore dryer it was constantly being used. I had 4 kids and 2 adults to do laundry for. The only time it didnt dry the way I wanted is when the lint trap was full. Sometimes I would have to dry towels twice; I have thick towels. My Kenmore was white all over. Front loading, easy open and easy close. The control panel was on top extension. It made a clicking noise as you turned the knob. Writing on the panel was black and if I remember correctly brown. It did show dirt easily, so I was constantly having to wipe it down. I honestly dont remember what I paid for it. I know that it was the best value at the time. I know that I never did regret getting it or the price I paid.

Kenmore is great. Ive known them for a long time and their products have never disappointed me. Theyre like an extended family. Both my washer and dryer are a Kenmore and I wouldnt have it any other way. Id strongly recommend.

Kenmore front load connect washer and dryer - My wife is ready to kill me. I talked her into spending a lot of money on our new washer and dryer - man she could kill me. The washer takes long time and clothes still smell mildew and moldy, and we run the cleaner through it 2 times a week. The dryer never seems to get clothes dry and you just have to keep re-running them. I thought by paying a lot more for washer and dryer, we would be worry free - I couldnt be more wrong. I do not recommend them to anyone - better off throwing your money down the drain; own these and you will. And forget Sears to make anything right, you will be wasting your time.

My Kenmore fridge did everything it was made to do, awesome performance, it kept things good and cold. I would recommend to anyone. Size of my Kenmore was perfect for my house, it fit right in place. It dries your clothes fast but does NO damage to them. Its quiet when it is running. It lasts a long time. I love it, good brand to buy. It has never gave me any problems for as long as I have owned it and that says a lot to me. You want to buy a good product and I would say this is one. It has a nice sleek modern look to it but I think most washers/dryers look almost about the same so really you cant go wrong with the look of them. You want a product that gives you bang for your buck (a good value) and that also lasts a long time with no problems and that is what I got.

Kenmore Series 100 HE, Worse washer ever! It doesnt get your clothes clean, sometimes not even getting them all wet! Rugs, blankets, etc, dont even think about it. The tub is supposed to fill by sensing your load size, but it never gets full enough, you cant do a full load at one time, the clothes are still dirty, there are dry spots that havent even seen the water. You have to put your detergent in the bottom because if you throw it on top, guess what? Its still there in all its soggy streaky glory when the washer stops, along with all the lint, hair and whatever was on your clothes when you tossed them into the washer. I could do a better job pounding my clothes with a rock...

Before I bought these Kenmore Elite Front Loaders, I had the Maytag Neptunes. Best washer & dryer Ive ever owned. Now with these Kenmores, quite a different story. No matter the type of products you use, your clothes still come out looking dingy & dirty.

Top-notch. Has worked very well without problems and we feel that we have been very lucky. Easy to use as long as follow instructions and do not overload with too many clothes. We have followed the instructions very carefully and because of that we have been lucky and can count the problems we have had on one hand. Has been very reliable on a consistent basis. It is very plain looking, not too much to make it any different than any other washer or dryer. Easy to get into and get clothes out. Value has been incredible as we have only had to use service people a few times. Price we paid so long ago would be impossible to replace for half the price we paid.

I loved the washer. It was a front loader. We have had it for over 10 years. Does a very good job of washing the laundry. It is very quick at washing the clothes and very quiet. Could not even tell if it was on and running, thats how quiet it is. Also has many settings on the washer but I only need a few like delicate and normal. Now the dryer you can tell it is on as you hear the cloth tumble inside but still it is a great dryer. It does its job good and we are happy with both the washer and dryer.

Dryer was formerly owned. Was used previously for over 5 years and I have used it 4 plus years without any issues. Just clean lint trap after each use, occasionally vacuum lint from under lint trap and you are good to go.

I could put a load of jeans in for anywhere between 35-40 minutes and the jeans would be completely dry. I absolutely loved this dryers performance. This dryer worked wonderfully especially when drying sweaters and jeans, usually I would put a load of 10 pair of jeans and two sweaters and set it on 35-40 minutes and bam! the whole load was dry. I loved how fast this dryer dried clothes. A white dryer top load, with two knobs, one for time setting and one knob for dryer load setting. There is a timer that goes off making a buzzer sound when the dryer is finished. The lint catcher is easily accessed from the top of the dryer. The value of this dryer is well worth the price I paid. I bought this dyer at a used electronics store for 150.00$, whereas in stores brand new they are priced around 300$ to 400$. If I had to buy the dryer brand new I most likely would.

The set is very dependable and energy saving. I love the ease of use, the alerts that sound when a load is done, and the ease of loading and unloading the clothes, towels, and linen. It is the one set of washer/dryer that doesnt dance across the floor when I have a heavy load. I am very well pleased with my Kenmore appliances and recommend them to anyone interested in reliable appliances.

Purchased dryer in 2013, just got it paid off and dryer started shutting off after a few minutes and getting error code CE. We have had the venting system cleaned by professional and new vent hose checked and there was no lint blockage. Repairman said it was motor. He put one that didnt work. He came back and put on new heating element... then didnt work. I have been without a dryer for 3 weeks. It will work if I unhook machine from dryer vent. What is the problem. I have seen many other complaints about Sears unable to fix this machine?

I really love the washer and dryer. They are truly high-capacity, which is a great feature for families, and they are very energy-efficient. The control panels are fairly straightforward, so selecting the cycle/features I need is pretty easy for such high-end modern machines. The washer could be easier to clean, however-- the sealing gasket is always dirty and holds little bits of stagnant water unless I am diligent about wiping it clean after every cycle, which is more maintenance that I think a washing machine should really require. The dryer I have no complaints about.

My experience has been wonderful. The clothes come out very clean and they wash in record time! The kenmore dryer is perfect for large quantities of laundry and it gets all lint off of my clothes. I would recommend anyone to buy this brand of appliance.

We have a Kenmore Elite Smart Wash Quietpak 4 model 11049962603 that we bought in 08/2009 with a 2-year warranty. It is now 11/2011. The machine was replacing a 30 yr. old Maytag that still worked. Our 30 yr. old dryer had died and we thought we would buy a new energy saving set. We were sorry we did. The Maytag would probably still be working. The washer just stopped working the other day. We called Sears Repair to fix it (thats where we got it from). The repair guy came out and said the motor board needed to be replaced. He quoted us $671.13 to repair it. We paid $863.99 plus taxes for the machine (see the problem here?). We refused service at this time, because we wanted to see if something could be done about the costs. In my opinion, we would be better off getting another new machine that doesnt have 2 years of wear and tear on it (we are out $129 for the service call already).I called their 800 number to see if anything could be done. Yes, this is outsourced. I wish they would give the jobs to Americans. We need all the jobs we can get. Well, as with many others, I was told there was absolutely nothing they could do except sell me a 1-year extended warranty for $319.99. It would cover the cost of the repair guy, any parts and labor up to $500. If we take this route, we will be out $129 for the original service call, $319.99 for the warranty, and $171.13 for the costs above $500. The grand total is $620.12 (not much savings here). I called the Escalation Department at 800-376-0557 (at least, I got an American this time). Again, I was told there was nothing they could do since the warranty expired 3 months ago on my 2-year-old machine.The entire time I questioned them all on the price of the part to fix our machine. The repair guy wanted to charge us $503 for the part. On the Sears website, the part is going for $372.70. I asked everyone why such a big difference in the price to no avail. I was told, I dont know anything about the website.” Or, I was told, The repair people and the website each charge their own prices.” I was told by the repair guy that if we picked up the part ourselves, he would install it for another $129 for the call. The grand total here is $501.70 plus the $129 for the original service call. Well, if you are going to gouge customers for not only the service call but also on the parts, I am taking my business elsewhere because of the principle of it all. My husband searched the part out at other places online and we found we could pick the part up starting at $142 for a refurbish and around $225ish for new (we may fix it ourselves).

We purchased our Kenmore Elite HE5 Steam dryer 5 years ago. We have been satisfied with the performance. Recently the dryer malfunctioned. It would turn on, but would not begin the drying cycle. Online it was recommended to replace the thermal fuse for under $20. I replaced the fuse and the dryer still didnt work. I scheduled a Sears repair technician to repair the dryer. He determined that the door switch malfunctioned. He said he normally carried on, but was out. After checking he determined that the part was on back order for the next 2-3 months. I called local suppliers and they stated this is problem with the model and there were 15 in front of me waiting for the part. I contacted Sears and they were of no help. Their solution was to wait for the back ordered part or buy a new dryer. Sears was of no help. If anyone has a source for the door switch it would be greatly appreciated.

It cleans really good and dries my clothes fast. Its dependable and reliable and it doesnt break down like what I used to have. The price was reasonable for both dryer and washer combo.

Time to replace our 16 yr old washer and dryer. So many bad reviews out there... We felt we had to choose the lesser of the evils because there was no overall good washer/dryer out there! We found a good deal on the Kenmore Elite top load washer model 31512 and the matching dryer model 61512. I expected problems to arise from all the complaints about electronics and washer stopping.... Been using it for 2 months now and I have to say I am pleasantly surprised! The errors that did occur were normal occurring errors w/ any washer. Got excited about the extra large tub and I loaded it up! (We are a family of 6!) Of course it didnt clean well. (Had to try it anyways! lol!) The 2 times it shut off was due to imbalance. My old washer would have shut off too. It appears that if you keep opening and shutting the lid while its filling up it will add more water too. Wanted to keep peeking inside and was alarmed at all the water usage! Then I figured out it was every time I opened the door it would add more water. My FAVORITE is the quick wash cycle!! Not only does the larger tub allow me to do more laundry, but I can pick Quick cycle and itll be done in 35 minutes not an hour!! Whoooo Hoooo!! (Of course real dirty stuff I stay on the normal cycle.) The dryer is great. Because the washer spins the heck out of the clothes, the dryer doesnt take as long to dry. Also, lots of complaints about it not cleaning..... I honestly think it may be an overloading issue. You cant stuff it. 3/4 the way up the wall is enough to load it and if you want to add more water, you just push a button. I really do like this so far. Oh....if you are wanting the dryer rack to go inside the dryer for shoes and sweaters I have battled the giant on this for you... They sent me the wrong rack twice and insisted that it was the right one. I had to send photos to the consumer affairs dept and such to prove the rack they were sending was wrong! Come to find out the warehouse was pulling the incorrect rack because the manufacturer was out of the correct one. One size does not fit all! This has been going on over a month to get the correct rack. Make sure you get rack 3751EL1001B. It is NOT symmetrical like the 3750 version. Hope this helps some of you out there and you are pleased with it like I am. :)

We like that it is a frontload washer and dryer. Also, you can stack the washer and dryer if you chose to. The amount of detergent we save is amazing. Kenmore is a name that you can depend on. We havent had any problems with either the washer or dryer.

I have an old model but it still work and does the job, it is still up to date modern, performs as it did the day I bought it. When I purchased it the products only came in white. I own washer and dryer top and bottom load and I own or purchased a freezer for the garage. Didnt need anything high fashion. Both product was purchase from Sears, a company that I have trusted for years.

I am satisfied with how my washer and dryer works. It gets our clothes clean, and we dont need to use as much laundry detergent. Its Energy Star, so it helps save us money. I would recommend these appliance with friends and family.

It was powerful and reliable. The wash options were great. Never needed a repair or had any problems. It also saved on water and electricity expenses. It was the one washer that I never had any issues with. It never failed or had any problems. I would only buy Kenmore in the future. It would put repairmen out of business for good! It had a new XE appearance and wasnt over the top with options. It look great of in our house and was very easy to match both with another Kenmore or any other name brand dryer. Fantastic value. It was very competitive in pricing and when you take the reliability into consideration, the value only gets better. They could actually charge more and I would still probably buy them. But dont.

Kenmore Series 700 HE washer/dryer - Horrible experience starting from day one - delivery was a nightmare. After using washer for less than 60 days I confirmed that washer doesnt put enough water in tub to get clothes clean - detergent remains undissolved. I tried several different cycle settings - had to use heavy bedding for all loads to get enough water in tub - still doesnt clean sheets or blankets - they are dry at the end of the cycle. The washer doesnt agitate vigorously enough to ever get the clothing or bedding submerged in water. Sears would not consider doing any kind of exchange for a different machine and said there is nothing we can do as it is beyond 30 days. Said to sell it on Craigs list.

Front load large capacity washer is still going strong after almost 15 years. Only issue is mold buildup behind the rubber gasket that is difficult to clean. Does a great job of cleaning. The dryer lasted only 7 or 8 years. Circuit board started on fire a year after the recall expired. Replaced with an LG dryer that is great.
