I have had Kenmore as my preferred dryer for many years. These appliances do a great job of drying clothes. I would recommend this brand as I have been very happy with their performance and price. Kenmore appliances can usually be seen on sale during any holiday and the savings is great. This is the best value of all brands around. These dryers last many years. I have never had a warranty and I never have any problems until I have had them for at least 8 years. Also, they are nice dryers. I like the look of these appliances. The buttons are sturdy and not cheap at all. They are usually white and are very appealing.

Cleans great. Washes and extracts perfectly. I have used the dryer for less time and clothes come out very clean. I would recommend. Great value/great price. The large load fits a lot of clothes. It keeps up with my household of two men, one teen and one female. And football uniform items. Few washes a day and never lets me down. It is not a fancy front loader but I prefer the top loads. It has everything I need and is a very nice washer. It is simple but what I need. The price was excellent. Great value for a great washer. It is one of the cheaper styles but like I said it has everything I need for a great price.

I have three kids, including myself! I have a Lot of laundry to do, Daily. I load my dryer way too much, than I should, but it ALWAYS gets my clothes Dry! I use my dryer on a daily basis and NEVER have a problem. Love It! My dryer is white, which goes with EVERYTHING. It matches my washer, even though its not the same brand. I love how easy it is to use! I actually received my dryer as a rebuilt one from a friend. Even being fixed and reused (by me) it still gets the job done and a Knock on wood it STILL works like its brand new!

It has very excellent performance that all dryers should look at. Clothes dry all the time on time. No double drying. It always works, has low energy consumption and no broken parts over time. The belts work. No shaking. Its a beautiful piece of art work. It looks nice with washers. Its priced right to fit your wallet and wont hurt your budget. Compared to other companies, value is above the rest. I would recommend to all customers.

Dries clothes very well. I like having the different heat options for delicate and cotton items. The anti wrinkle setting is awesome as well. I have had this dryer for a few months and have had no problems. I normally only have to run the dryer once to get everything dry unless it is bedding. Mine sit right off my kitchen so appearance was important to me. Thankfully I was able to get a matching washer as well. They go well with my other appliances. Well worth the price. The new technology makes drying easier and faster. Now if they would just make something that folds my clothes and puts them away.

It cleaned the clothes well. Was large capacity. It was durable & long lasting. It was also easy to use and easy to install. I liked the multiple cycles the most. It always performed to my expectations & never let me down. It always got my clothes clean and I never had to worry about it. It lasted way longer than I thought it would for the money. It had a clean simple look to it that would fit into any decor & would pair nicely with any similar designed dryer. It is what I expect a wash machine to look like. It was well worth the price I paid seeing how durable & long lasting it was. If you are in the market for a machine that wont break the bank & will last then this is the machine for you.

Exactly what I needed for a dryer and washer. Great choice for being my first time buying them and they work perfectly many years later. I really have not had a need to upgrade but plan to just to get all the new buttons and features available in the current machine.

I bought a new Kenmore Elite washer and dryer from Sears back in Feb. 2013 and have had nothing but trouble with it. Within the first two weeks, the dryer blew up and Sears had to bring a new one out. The service men entered my home illegally, and they had a bad attitude. They tore my floor up in my laundry room, then lied and said that it was already like that. The owner of the store came out and thought that he was just going to cut a little piece of linoleum and patch it together but I wouldnt let him. He also had such a bad attitude that I asked him to get out. The washer cannot be leveled and vibrates and jumps around. They said that my floor was weak, but little do they know that there is an extra beam and support in the laundry room area. They are complete liars and scam artists. My last washer, one that I didnt purchase from Sears, nor was it Kenmore Elite, never had a level problem.Now, the service guy came out AGAIN because the control panel on the dryer started malfunctioning. This is all within 5 1/2 months of purchase. So what happens when my warranty runs out? I guess they think that Im just another animal that theyre gonna leech from but its not gonna happen! I called Sears corporate and asked for a refund and they laughed and refused. I told them that I was going to file Lemon Law suit against them but they dont care. Their insurance will pay for it.We bought Kenmore Elite (over $2000.00) because we wanted something that would last us for years. LOL. Looks like we made a big mistake. We have no confidence in Kenmore anymore. Were not rich and cannot run out and buy another washer and dryer, so were pretty much screwed. How could two different companies (Sears, Kenmore) do people this way and get away with it? We will NEVER buy anything from Sears or Kenmore again, and I will start a Facebook campaign against them and warn other people about this cheap junk, and about the rude people at Sears. This is so frustrating!

When I wash my sheets and pillow cases I end up with brown feather-like marks on them. This has happened on brand new sheets. Ive attached a picture so you can see what I mean. The sheets arent ripped but these marks keep appearing - not sure if its the washer or dryer that causes this. I have Kenmore Elite machines purchased in 1999. These marks dont appear on my clothes. They appear on all different brands of sheets.

Very efficient and it saves money on my electric bill, but sometimes the drying sensor will stop the dryer before everything is completely dry. My dryer can hold a large load of towels with ease, which is very convenient so I can do fewer loads of laundry each week. Plus all the options on the dryer make drying anything easy. While most people hide their laundry room because of the clunky-looking machine that look decades out of date, my laundry room looks clean and up to date. While many would say the newer front loaders are too expensive, l find in the long run that its worth every penny because of how much I am able to save of water and electricity.

I had my Kenmore washer for 13 years. The poor thing made many moves with us. I finally had to replace it last month. It would fill with water and that was it. It is now out in my husbands workshop because he would like to fix it himself. We will then move it to our second home we just bought. The washer and dryer functioned properly. They did their jobs completely as expected and lasted for a long time. Very satisfied with the purchase. It is the most reliable washer and dryer I have ever purchased. They function as expected and operate quickly and efficiently. Its all great. The appearance is good. There isnt much that separates most washer and dryers as far as appearance, but it looks really good. No problems with appearance. Not the cheapest product on the market, but very much the best value. Everything about it is perfect, and the cost is just a little higher for a quality product.

Ive been reading the bad reviews on these washers since I own one with the same common problem of not cleaning clothes and leaving lint or detergent stuck to them. In theory, the washer determines how much water it needs and the user has no control of it. On my last load I opened the washer periodically and checked. The clothes were wet but not submerged at all. I felt around and there was only about two inches of water underneath the clothes. Over time, I took some photographs. It looked like almost nothing was changing. The same windbreaker and the same flannel sheet were visible in the same relationship to each other the whole time prior to the first spin.I have had loads come out with DRY patches on some of the wash. I think the root problem is not enough water, so maybe its just a sensor issue. I spoke to a technician and he says this is the nature of this design. It just isnt made to float the clothes and stir them up sufficiently to get them clean. I was wondering if anyone had actually gotten this problem resolved?

Now considering replacement as continued use over 8 years necessitates a new unit. Washer leaks through the front door, have to keep a towel on floor. Lint in dryer builds up too fast and is hard to clean. Sears now closed doors, no manufacturing agent available.

This is a good quality dryer. It has lasted for many years and keeps drying very well. It does not wrinkle clothing and is very easy to operate. I would buy this dryer again. This dryer is very reliable and has been used a very lot. It dries very good. IT DRIES VERY GOOD. KENMORE MAKES GOOD QUALITY PRODUCTS THAT LAST AND LAST. WOULD GLADLY BUY THE SAME ONE AGAIN. I have a Kenmore washer 11045986 400 and dryer that matches. Washer has broke for the third time and the dryer has a short in circuit board. I cannot wash clothes and these machines were very expensive and sears wants to charge me over 300 dollars for a service call when I already paid for the same problem.

I bought Kenmore washer and dryer in 07. I had to have washer repaired 4 or 5 times. The repairpersons always say they have to replace the board. Todays repairman had to get instructions from someone on the phone in order to complete the task. I am washing now and it is making the same sound it did before repair was done. It sounds like a German tank. I am sure I will have further problems. My Kenmore dryer makes a very loud whining noise. I have used Kenmore washers and dryers for 40 years. This is the first time I have had these kinds of problems.

Weve had our Kenmore washer and dryer for about 6 years with only one minor problem. The handle of the dryer broke but was replaced by a service tech completely under the warranty. The washer has no issues. We have the stacked front loading models. I would purchase these again in a heartbeat and highly recommend Kenmore appliances.

I owned a front load washer and dryer. I enjoyed the large amount of clothes that I could wash and dry. Even comforters were no problem for these machines. Unfortunately when the belts went out, it was not possible to have them repaired. The cost of repair would have been substantial. It was more feasible to buy a used washer, not a front load unfortunately. Keep up your extended warranty if you can afford it, and this will be the best washer and dryer you will ever own.

Looked nice, thought it would be good being it was a Kenmore. Bought it about one year ago. This is the very worst washer and dryer I have ever had. I will not buy another one. Kenmores in the past were the best. I am buying another one, it will not be a Kenmore. Tried to give it back and a refund, Sears told me I was too late. I have purchased Kenmore washers and dryers new as well as used. In my current residence I have both a washer and dryer that are both Kenmore. The dryer was purchased new and the washer was purchased used. I purchased the dryer at Lowes in PA. The price of the dryer was low and it was pretty energy efficient. The washer performs great for being used. It was only $50. The dryer performs all the functions that are needed. I dont like the newer electronic washers for several reasons. First, the cost it too high. Second, the cost of detergent is more as well. Third, I did purchase one and it ended up breaking. I paid a costly repair from a certified repair man and it ended up breaking again. I have also had friends and family members that have had similar experiences with the new electronic washers and dryers. But, mainly the washers.

I got my dryer at a furniture store and paid around eight hundred dollars. The value was definitely too high to me! But if youre gonna use any brand this is it! My dryer was white. The front loader has plenty of room on top! Its so easy to use & hook up was simple. I loved it. Its very clean and nice designed. Knobs were very easy to use. Only problem I had was my lint kept getting clogged after one load. But I washed rugs, covers, and a lot of items. Everything was done quick, nice & warm. I had it for four years before replacing it.

My washer or dryers reliability can fit all of my needed items, such as: underwear, socks, shirts and pants. I definitely recommend this washer and dryer to all of you. Purchased July 2011. Motor died March 2012. Rotary belt needed service January 2013. Now with lid open machine with begin new wash cycle on its on for the past week or so. There is a short in the electronics. We need to unplug the machine and then plug it back in between loads. There are 2 of us and do about 3 to 4 loads of easy laundry a week. So now after 4 years our efficient washer will be added to the local landfill. We grew on Kenmore and will never buy another. The heating element in the dryer purchased at the same time is fading. After reading reviews were not alone.

I was pleased with my Kenmore washer and dryer. I had to replace a motor on the washing machine after three years, which I felt was a little early but otherwise it worked fine. The Dryer worked fine and never gave us any trouble.

Do not. I repeat do not buy this appliance. I purchased a stackable Kenmore washer and dryer FIVE MONTHS ago from Sears and it has broken down TWICE! I have been without a W&D for nearly a month and all I get from Sears is a shoddy product and poor customer service. And delay, delay, delay. Go to Lowes or the guy on the corner. I am sure you will get a better quality product and customer care.

I have had this machine for 3 years now and hate it every time I do laundry. The only function I can use is the timed dry. When I use the other functions, the machine doesnt dry the clothes or takes all day to dry one load. I called a technician to come and look over my dryer. This technician told me that the dry clothes are coming in contact with the sensor inside the machine next to the lint holder and left. I started putting smaller loads in the dryer and did not help. So I tried the timed dry to see if this would work and it does. But why spend money on a machine if you can only use one function? Useless is what I tell ya.

It worked fine. I didnt use it that often because I was a college student but it never broke and when I wash my clothes they came out wet and then I put them in the dryer and they dried. It was very reliable in that for the nine months I lived in the house that had one it never broke. I never had to call a repairman person. It didnt look ugly. I was very pleased with its value. It came with the house and the rent was low. It probably wasnt very expensive.

Kenmore Elite Oasis gas dryer - We bought this dryer in 2006. We got it home and hooked up and it would not work. Call Sears had to fight to get them to bring us another one. Within the first years they had to come fix it. Then They say I only bought 2 protection plans on it. I know it was more. It flashes from 40 on normal cycle to F and keeps doing it. Do not buy this dryer. Everything in my house is from Sears. No more Im done with them. They lost a loyal customer. Its model # 110. The flashing F must mean its over heating cause now that it has cooled down its not doing it. But not drying clothes either. Like I said never again buying from Sears. Its buyer beware.

This dryer is spacious and keeps the clothes wrinkle-free. There is an alarm that sounds when the load is dry. It runs quietly and efficiently. Its very reliable. This dryer has been a real workhorse, drying queen-sized comforters, large loads of bath towels and full loads of hockey equipment. Yet it still turns out a small load of delicates as fresh and wrinkle-free. It is pretty standard as far as appearances go. Its the typical white color and has just the right amount of knobs needed to give load options. This has been a great deal for the money. We have gotten a lot of use of this for years now and we plan to have many more years of service yet to go.

My washer is new. It is the one where you just push button on and the lid locks. You can not open the lid. You have a certain button you have to hold for 10 secs to get it opened. The dryer is where you can open it and it stops but you can start it back. The dryer is really old. I have not had any trouble with it. I do not wash as much as some families with kids. I would not have any other brand. I have had Kenmore with all my appliances. I trust all my appliances with Sears Kenmore. They last. The washer is a really big tub and it holds fabric softener. It has a place for Clorox to pour in it. The dryer is nice too. It has a loud buzzer to go off when it is done. You have settings for delicate clothes on dryer and washer.I would recommend these Kenmore products to anyone. I have been using them for 52 yrs. I have only had this is the second washer I have had and this is the second dryer, I am looking for the dryer to go out. I will buy another dryer Kenmore. These appliances are good and they do not cost that much. My washer was 349.00. The appliances are quiet, they are really a good looking product, you can get them in different colors. I think that the white is coming back. Mine is white. You can hardly hear the washer and dryer going at the same time how quiet they are. I am 5 ft.3 ins. and I have to bend real far to get to the bottom of the washer. You can set your clothes on what water temp you want. You can set it on how long you want it to wash, the same with the dryer.

I have owned many sets of washers and dryers but this set happens to be the best. I can wash and dry extra large loads like a comforter or 15 pairs of jeans or I can wash very small loads of gentles and not hurt my delicates.

Washer machine is a great value for its price. Would definitely purchase again. With 3.5 Cu Feet it is more than enough room to properly wash a decent sized load of clothes. Have owned since February 2016, without any problems associated with the machines. We usually wash on average 3 to 4 loads per week in our household with no issues. The appearance is relatively plain thus my simple rating of satisfied, but for the price I was more looking for productivity as opposed to cosmetics. The value for the washer and dryer combination to me is what really sold me as opposed to higher end more expensive models. For about $600 less I feel as though I got the same type of product that does the same work.

I had a Kenmore Washer & Dryer for 13 years and only had to replace 1 part on the washer and my husband did it. So we thought it was time to purchase a new set that might be more energy efficient and thought we would go with the Kenmore brand again. July 2013 we purchased the Kenmore Elite top loading washer and matching dryer, for a lot of money, not bottom of the line. My husband was not happy with the washer right away, he felt his work clothes were not getting clean. I thought it might be the setting they were getting washed on so I tried different combinations. I also realized that I couldnt let items soak in the water overnight, it would drain out. We continued to use them since they were not broken and we had given away our other set. In the last 1-2 months I cant wash a load of anything (it first was only blankets) it stops and says unbalanced load. I had them installed by the company who brought them but I double checked that the washer was level, and it was. I cant get through washing a load of 4 items, same weight without it taking all day, and stopping at the minimum of 4 times. I go and rebalance the clothes and start it again. I called and it is $79 to come out and look, if nothing is wrong, I lose the money. If they find something I get it back but pay for the parts & labor. Or I can purchase a new warranty for $229 for a year which covers certain items. I cant sell it without feeling guilty but it was not a couple of hundred dollars, I even feel guilty giving it to anybody but I dont even want to deal with it anymore. Friends have washers and Love them! The dryer is fine, no complaints. Trying to figure out if I should choose plan A or plan B... My luck is bad.

I love them! They have been so good. There are five people in my family, so we do a lot of laundry. I dont remember what we had before the ones we have now but I wouldnt go back! As of now we really havent had too many problems. One big one is sometimes the washing machine will get off balance and wont finish a load. We have to unplug and redo the load. Other than that they have been great. When I grow up Im going to buy my own Kenmore washer and dryer. If it was up to me I would suggest that everyone should get one.

Very efficient drying clothes no matter how much clothes are inside. Lint was easy to remove after drying clothes also. It also had plenty of space for clothes. Very durable, never had heating element go out or any other issues. I had a warranty on the dryer but never had to use it. I think it was very good at drying clothes. Dryer was white in color and front loading for adding clothes to it. It has a see through door which you can watch your clothes dry. It has also a metal frame For the price of the dryer I feel it has had great value and last a very long time. I feel its a great dryer with nice features for anyone to use.

Both the Kenmore washer and dryer were used on a daily basis, as I have four children. They stood up to harsh conditions for many years, and still work to this day. General everyday maintenance that I can do myself worked out just fine. I kept them clean, especially the lint screen on the dryer, and do not ever have a problem. I have filled the washer to capacity many times which did not slow my washer down a bit. Every week I run a cup of vinegar through the washer to keep down sewer smells. These things proved to work perfectly fine. My washer and dryer are not the new front loading, modern style. They are the regular washer that is a top loader and the dryer is a regular front loader that have been the style for many years. However, my washer and dryer do not look much older than the new models that are on the showroom floors today. They look as new and shiny as the day I bought them. I purchased my Kenmore washer for not more than $350 and the matching dryer cost near that, at almost $400. I got a good deal for the money I spent.

The washer is nice sized and cleans clothes efficiently. I just set and go. The dryer dries really well. Most of my past experience with dryers I need to go down to the basement 2 times to dry a load. Very satisfied with my set.

I always used a liquid detergent. I never used powders. I always kept the dryer vents cleaned out to prevent fires and to help the dryer be more efficient. Both my washer and dryer lasted more than 15 years. I think the secret is to use liquid detergents and to keep the dryer vent clean especially to the outside. Neither of my appliances had to have any service other than what I just described. Even though I purchased the cheaper or plain models I found that they were easy to keep clean and that their finish held up very well over the fifteen plus years I used them. For the monies I invested and the usage I received for my fifteen years of usage I think I came out very well and not having to spend monies for service or repairs especially speaks to the quality of both machines.

I purchased a Kenmore Dryer in June 2012. I put a load of wash in it and it had this very loud grinding noise. I took the top off to see if the belt was broke, but all looks intact. I spun the drum to see if maybe something was lodged in there and it did not make any harsh noise. I never overload the dryer (my son broke one before by doing that. I know the expense). The warranty just expired - go figure. I called Kenmore to see what I can do and they said they can have someone over that same day. That was very impressive. However, they said it would cost me $97.00 just to have the service man ring my doorbell, and depending on what is wrong with the dryer it could cost almost $500. I only paid $450.00 for it. So, I said no to the service call. I am on a low budget I could not afford that. I put the dryer on lay-a-way for six months thats how low my budget is. I purchased a Kenmore washer and dryer because of the reputation and good products they sell. Ive always purchased Kenmore appliances. I am very disappointed in this product and extremely dissatisfied with Kenmore. Is there anyone out there that can help me.

I owned a Kenmore washer and dryer 20 years ago. They were adequate. I really dont remember any specifics although I dont think we had any major problems with them. There is nothing else I can tell you.

They have been good, but the dryer is dying after ten years. It is a stack unit, and I am not impressed with the dryer at all. The washer is awesome, and is full size which is also excellent. Honestly, it just keeps on working, other than the dryer not being really effective. I thought it was due to the venting. But I changed the hose and that still doesnt work.

I bought the Kenmore 600 series washer and dryer from sears with the warranty. So far no issues. The only thing I dont like is that I cant wash pillows in it because of the sensors weighing the laundry and the pillows floating it throws it off so it just keeps rinsing once on that cycle. But everything else washes great. All settings are effective. I have used liquid and powder and both rinse completely out of the tray.

I am writing so that Kenmore 600 Series washer is taken off the market. I paid a lot of money for this machine and it is awful. Doesnt get the clothes clean. Sometimes the clothes come out with dry spots. How can the clothes get clean if they are not in water. I have owned Kenmore washers and dryers even appliances over the last 45 years and have never had any trouble. Or my laundry come out dirty. I moved and sold my old washer and dryer. I kick myself everyday for not bringing it with me but I had it for 15 years and thought it wouldnt make the trip. Why would you change your washing machine to the piece of crap I am stuck with until I can afford a new machine. Which I will research before I buy. Shame on you Kenmore.

This machine definitely gets the job well done! I would use it like there is no tomorrow and I would definitely recommend to family and friends anytime. This washer fits the amount of laundry I want to wash at each time just the way I want them to so that every pieces of clothing can get the right wash. This washer is beautiful both on the inside out and comes in a very great and efficient manner and does the job better than other big brand name washer or dryer. The value of this machine is worth every cent because sometimes we pay more and does not get what we pay for but I can tell you youll never regret owning one of these.

Mine is a little old but it still works as if it were yesterday that I found it in the house that I bought. You can put anything in this washer and dryer and it will not harm it in any way. Well, it dries clothes faster than any other models I have had. Also very energy efficient. My electric bill has lowered since I purchased this model. I have owned one for about 3 yrs now and I have no problems or had to replace anything. It looks good and matches up well with my washing machine. It has several speeds. Also matches up to any existing appliances you might own. I prefer the front loader instead of the top loader. The style is more attractive. The price you cant beat. The Kenmore Dryer gives you great options like permanent press - normal less dry, normal dry, more dry, it gives you auto dry - less dry. Also knit, delicate, timed dry, touch up air dry. It also has lint filter and a very loud buzzer so I know when my clothes are dry. I like all these features because its the best dryer Ive ever had. But it would be nice if had a front loader, so it doesnt hurt your back when youre bending down to load it. Also it would be nice if it had a fabric softener holder, so the fabrics wouldnt stick to your clothes and end up all over the house. I bought this because Kenmore has always been the most reliable and best brand that has came out to the stores for my family. Other brands that me and my family have purchased in the past the heating elements have burnt out, or the drums stop spinning which leads to extra cost for replacement parts, or resulting in buying a whole new dryer, and when I cant find parts, or someone to fix it.

Will wash out the dirtiest dirt and no rewash. I love it. 3 kids, 5 sports, one concrete worker, sand everywhere. One washer and one dryer I am the winner. I get the good laundry award from my family every day. It works as hard as my kids play and they can get really dirty and stained up a lot. They play softball, go fishing, and fish worms are really slimy. It still looks as good as the day I bought it. Easy to keep clean. It looked great in the laundry room from day one and I even got my color I wanted. I bought at income tax time. I knew it was going to be costly but was surprised at the cost. It was more reasonably than I thought it was going to be. I would not have waited for tax time if I would have known.

Purchased a pair of washer and dryer that was on the lower cost level and within three years, both had stop working to the point that it made repair fiscally illogical. The motor went out on the washer, and drum bearing and surround seal went out as well as the element shorted.

We have had a Kenmore washing machine and a Kenmore dryer for ten to eleven years and our Kenmore washing machine is still working exceptionally well. And the Kenmore dryer we have, had it ten to eleven years and it still works good.

Kenmore is and always has been a steady, reliable performer. It is American made and thats enough for me. I have used Kenmore products for over 50 years. Kenmore as solid as Sears is an accurate truism. The washing machine that I have is a great performer. If it was an employee, I would give it raises and top performance reviews year in and year out! Yes there are newer technology washers and dryers out there with all the bells and whistles and lights. Yet, they are very expensive and are usually not made in America. I will always opt for the steady consistent performer every time.

Very durable. Last long time. Big loads for well. Easy access to the inside. And the dryer also dries fast and easy to clean the inside. Dryer button are easy to read. I can leave my washer or my dryer on when I step out of the house for something fast and when I return itll already be done. I always wash all the bed sheets, towels, and heavy duty stuff and its been working the same for years. Appearance is very simple and easy to read. My niece, who is a child, can put clothes too was because she is able to read that buttons. Back when we purchased the washer and dryer it was on of the cheapest one we could find that had what is the basics that we needed. And still until this day we havent had to buy a newer one.

Dries well and doesnt leave a lot of static. Gives you different time options for drying as well as 3 settings for air drying. Definitely recommend. Love my dryer. It is durable. We have had it 12 years and never had any problems with it drying our clothes. I wash clothes at least 3 times a week and use the dryer for drying with my comforter. This Kenmore dryer is small, durable, good size and depth. Easy to fit anywhere in your home. I love front load feature and simple to use. I believe this was on sale when we purchased 2 years after buying our home and we purchased as a set. We have had it 12 years and have never had issues with it with a family of 4.

When first bought worked very well for a few years then gradually started taking longer to dry loads of laundry. Worth the money though. Ive only had to replace a few parts through the years but the dryer is still running well. Dryer belt seems to wear quicker than all other parts. The color of the washer makes it look sleek and also blends very well with my apartment walls. Although lint does accumulate on the top and is very visible due to the light color of the dryer. For what I paid for the dryer I have received my money back and then some in savings from not having to go to the laundromat and various places to get quarters.

We have had this dryer somewhere around a year or so and I have never had a problem with it. This dryer works great, it is easy to clean and it runs like a charm. It is a great dryer for the price and it does the job well. It is white or maybe an egg shell type color with blue or grayish knobs things. We like it a lot and it looks clean. Most people need a little help with basics these days and this dryer helps foot that bill. I would let a friend know about it sure.

It always seemed to work really well in keeping my clothes feeling and smelling clean. Never had issues with either washer or dryer. Only reason we dont have them anymore is because we finally decided to upgrade to a newer model. Very easy to keep clean as well. I never had an issue with it breaking down or having to fix any parts to it. Always seemed to get the job done when I needed it to and I do an average of at least 7 loads per week so I never once had a problem with either washer or dryer. It was very simple but thats what I most loved about them. Most of the newer washers and dryer have all these different buttons for certain washes and it can get confusing. For the price that I paid for both the washer and dryer I feel the value was amazing. Couldnt have really asked for a better combo for the price and it definitely was worth buying the set together.

My Kenmore washer lasted over 15 years with no problems. I still have the dryer. I never has to call a repair man. The next washer I purchased lasted 8 years and I had to call the repair man several times. It was not a Kenmore.

In Aug 2013 I replaced my old Kenmore Front Load washer, that I had purchased in 2005, with the Kenmore Elite Model 41172211 Washer. My old Front loader had worked great most of the time. In the 8 years we had it I replaced a pump and had to replace a set of drum shocks but other than that it worked great. One thing I never had a problem with was mold and mildew growing in the washer. I very seldom had to clean it out and never worried about having to leave the door open. Our clothes were always cleaned very well.However, the new Front Load Elite Model # 41172211 has been nothing but problems since we got it. There was an odd odor right from the start. And there is a constant fight to keep mold and mildew from growing in areas along the rubber boot. I leave the door open. Run bleach through it on the Clean Washer cycle usually at least every 2 weeks. Really water efficient. I think not. Not when you have to run cleaning cycles all the time without a load in it. The other problem is that my wife has a beauty shop and we wash a lot of her towels in the machine. With my old machine there was never a problem getting the hair out of the towels. Every time I run a load of her towels I have to wipe hair off of the glass on the door and out of the rubber boot. And dont tell me I need to clean the screen because I do that about once a week.I grew up with my parents always having a Kenmore washer and dryer. I have been married for 32 years now and my wife and I have only had Kenmore washers and dryers up to this point. But if this is the quality of Kenmore front loaders I will NEVER buy another Kenmore. As far as Im concerned this machine has an engineering deficiency that needs to be corrected and Sears/Kenmore has a public relations nightmare with this washer.Sears needs to make good for anyone having mold problems in these machines by either refunding our purchase price so we can go elsewhere and get a machine a decent machine or replacing what we have with a model that doesnt have a mold problem. I know personally I am considering seeking a lawyer that specializes in class action litigation. I have seen enough people posting about this problem not only on this site but many others about this specific problem. If it wasnt a design/engineering problem then my old machine would have grown mold and it didnt.

I like the ease of turning the washer on to clean my clothing. I like how it has the cleaning functions and how I am able to do a light and deep clean. I also like how the clothes maintain a stronger freshness when using this washer. It is highly effective and works to perfection. I just wish they came in more colors and had more variety. I like all the features this dryer has, especially the extra spin cycle feature. I would recommend noise reduction however, as this dryer is very loud. I loved the Kenmore brand. I have always been a fan of Kenmore washers and dryers and I have many other Kenmore products that work extremely well and that are extremely effective in getting the job done in terms of cleaning my clothing so I purposely chose the Kenmore brand because it had the best design and fit. The Kenmore washer has surpassed my expectations and is a brand that I love tremendously and dearly.

We purchased Kenmore 600s series W&D March 2016. This is the most inefficient large product I ever purchased. Where do I begin. The first thing I did was change my mindset about how a High Efficiency washer operates. I got rid of the old way of thinking with the beloved Kenmore washers & dryers of years ago. Well, there is no comparison. The first problem was low water level and white streaks on dark clothing. I switched from powder detergent to liquid and that fixed the streaking issue. Now, as for water level. My first reaction was, why such a huge tub if it really cannot be used? I used deep fill on occasion and I noticed the rinse cycle repeated itself 3 times before I realized what was happening. No more. I had to manipulate the controls to end that nonsense. The water levels were inconsistent even with same chosen options. I wont mention all the variations but this is what I found works best: I use the Delicates cycle w/ normal Soil. Unfortunately it doesnt spin well so I then use Rinse & Spin option but eliminate two rinses. Ugh! I hate this BS. Dont like that I cant lift the lid while its filling. My friend has the same series and hates it! I heard these have a 10 yr lifespan. I cant wait for mine to kick! Never again... Buh Bye... Kenmore.

When drying clothing or blankets, it is very quiet and runs so smoothly. The second thing I most really enjoy and love about the dryer is that like a lot of other ones I had in the past, this one doesnt rock back and forth. I am very happy with my dryers performance. Reliability is so great. I am proud that if anything goes wrong with it, I can rely on customer services warranty. Fortunately I dont think Id ever need their warranty since the dryer is stable so far. I am very very satisfied with the appearance. Its like no other one I have had in the past. It tends to give off a pretty nice look/style unlike the past dryers I have had in the past. Value is great too. I had purchased it the day it was on a special clearance sale. I think I paid like $250, but it doesnt matter, It is definitely worth more than that price and I am glad I have finally found the dryer I was always looking for.

They were separate. They were white. We moved from the property and left the washer and dryer. It worked fine while we lived at the residence. My parents both have Kenmore washers and dryers and they also have had good results with them.

Long lasting dryer that completed dried load in one cycle. Easy to use and minimal upkeep. Would recommend to anyone as a starter dryer. Also owned the corresponding top load washer. Large enough capacity for towels, clothes, etc. Basic white dryer. Nothing too fancy or out of the ordinary. Simplistic. All in all a great value. Low cost and low maintenance, reasonable energy usage.

It fits everything that we need it to and space is never an issue. I have 3 kids so were always stocked up on food which is fresh and frozen. It looks very modern. Gets the laundry done. Parts had to be replaced twice. Takes longer to dry and wash. But it does what it does. Sometimes there are residues. It fits lots of clothes, jeans and towels. But it does leave soap residues sometimes, which kind of sucks. Its very simple and easy to use. All basic functions. Its basically load and select and start. Not very technical compared to others. Not a lot of buttons or knobs. Its worth it. Just like everything else, if you take care of it, it will last and be worth what its valued. It could be lowered since all these new and improved washers and dryers are coming out.

I love my washer and dryer. They work well and hold up well under extreme usage, and they last!! Whether its one load, or ten loads, I know I can count on my washer and dryer to take care of them quickly and efficiently. Doesnt matter how many loads of clothes I have to do, I know I can rely on my washer and dryer to help me get the job done fast and efficiently. Value of having a washer and dryer are you can wash clothes whenever you like and fold them whenever you get around to it. You dont have to go out to a laundromat and worry about having money. At home as long as you have laundry detergent you can wash.

It was very easy to use, and clothes truly have no wrinkles. Large loads even dry extremely well, as do thicker fabrics, such as rugs or towels. Its capacity is more impressive than previous dryers, I was able to completely and efficiently dry my familys towels and washrags in one load. It looks sleek, and its simple color goes with any house aesthetic youre going for. It isnt a big eyesore either. It goes with anything. The price I paid for the dryer made me think that it would be a nice dryer, but it has exceeded my expectations. If I had known it would perform this well, I would have no issues paying more for it.

Their products are amazing. I have had the same wasyer and dryer set for 10 years with no problems at all. Always dries my clothes the first time and the washer is amazing. I can wash two normal loads of clothes at one time which saves a lot of time.

I loved my Kenmore Elite washer at first, but started having problems within the first year. It got out of balance and my once whisper quiet washer became much louder. Then, it started smelling sour - even when I started leaving the door open after washes so it would dry out. Now, its filling up with water between washes and I have to spin and drain each time before using it to empty out the water. Also, most times, the clothes are too damp after the wash cycle and then take too long to dry. They used to be practically dry before I put them in the dryer. To be fair, Ive probably had this washer for 6 or so years, but Ive gotten less and less happy as each year goes by.

I bought my appliances refurbished when I bought my house over three years ago and they are still in perfect condition. I have absolutely no complaints about my washing machine or my clothes dryer. The product dries everything very well. It has enough categories to cover all different types of clothes and fabrics. I have never had any problems drying blankets or loads of towels, let alone standard loads of clothes. It is very easy to use, just pick your setting and push the button. The sensors know how long your load needs and will set the timer accordingly. It also has a classic appearance that fits in with any laundry room. While the controls are modern, the body remains fully classical and never grows old. Also, it doesnt use that much electricity and will chime when the load is done. It does its job every time without fail. What more could you ask for in a dryer?

I purchased the pair of Kenmore Elite Oasis Canyon size washer and dryer in August of 2007. I have spent so much money on repairs, and I simply want to put it on the sidewalk with a warning sign for anyone who will take it. It began less than a year after I purchased it. First, it was the F1 code. It turns out that the control board was faulty. They paid for a portion of it, but I got stuck with the rest and the labor. Then, the dryer began acting up. It only dries the clothes on Timed Dry, and it usually takes 70 minutes to dry a load. Do you know how much power that uses? The washer has since been repaired two more times. The tub had to be replaced within the first 3 years. Now, I am getting the DL code, which means the door will not latch. There is nothing blocking this from happening. I just wish Sears would honor their products and care about their customers. I also wish Kenmore would stand behind their products. When I told the repairman that washers are supposed to last longer than a decade and he said, Not anymore.” They make them like this so they can break down, and the company can make more money. I am so sad and angry. I read the message boards from so many frustrated people like myself. We are living from paycheck to paycheck. These repairs are too costly, and so is going to the laundromat. Can someone please help us?

My experience was absolutely delightful. I liked everything with the Kenmore refrigerator. I never had any regrets or disappointments with it. The person that purchased said they got it at a very reasonable price. Everyone is very pleased. I would definitely purchase this brand refrigerator if the need was to arise. Since receiving the refrigerator as a gift, I have obtained a matching washer and dryer.

Machine at times sounds horrible. Called repair and they claimed, that is the way it is. The nature of the beast. When it stops, get a new one. This washer and dryer pair got plenty of use by my two kids, my mother, and myself! Im not sure how long they normally last, but they got a lot of use! They were heavily used, I would say daily for about 12 years. They were very dependable. Actually I could have fixed them, but I wanted a new set. I only used water to wipe them off, but they always maintained a new look. I would suggest this brand to anyone with a large family. They were a good looking pair! It definitely was a good value. Very little to clean the insides of the washer and leave a good looking machine outside and inside. Kenmore is a leader in laundry machines. There is an automatic value when a Kenmore product is bought. These are well built machines and they have a good endurance rep.

We have purchased the Kenmore Elite in July 2011 at Sears. First, the clothes were washed okay. Then I started to notice that the clothes do not look clean and doesnt smell fresh. I decided to rinse them with my hands before putting them into a dryer. The results were astonishing! The water is dirty, soupy and brownish in color. I have to rinse clothes three to four times until the water gets clean. My elbows and shoulders started to ache.

I bought my washer and dryer about 9 yrs ago. They were working fine until last year. I needed a new heating coil on the dryer and a great service man came and fixed it. I got a service contract after that and had some issues with the washer but because of the contract it was fixed with no additional cost. I’m trying to keep them as I’m worried about how the new ones are made.

All of my washers and dryers are front load and have multiple selections on each one like the washer, hand washable, delicate, normal, casual, heavy duty, sanitary. The dryer has multiple selections also as delicate, casual, normal, bulky items, heavy duty and you can breeze the level of heat on the dryer. These have both lasted me 5 years and still going, so the quality and the reliability are very excellent. I have not had any problems with any overloading on water or breaking down on the dryer. Neither one has had any problems at all.The way both of them look they are both front-loaders and it helps with easy access of the clothes and it doesnt make noise like the top loaders when they end up going out. Theyre white, got a clear window that you can look through to see if its being overloaded or if its done or whatever. These washers have been very helpful. The price cost was not much at all. It did cost a little but it was not enough to make it to where I would not want to buy it.

It is a really good washer. It really gets the stains out especially from white clothes and its very good with color clothes as well. It doesnt rip the clothes or damages them. It is really reliable. It hasnt broken down or anything. It keeps the clothes looking like new. Its really good quality for a washer. I would recommend this brand and washer to people. It has a nice appearance. Since its white you might just have to clean it every once in a while so it doesnt get scratches or really dirty. The buttons are easy to control bits and outstanding appearance. Easy to use - taught kids how to use when 9. Each one washed own clothes once a week. Wanted kids to be ready to go to college. Also to be able to take care of self. Kenmore allowed them to grow as self reliant people. Love it and easy to use. Children can use. WAS EASY TO transfer clothes from washer to dryer - I would still have - however one of the kids I babysat for sat on lid and broke it. Washer and dryer basic white controls on top with ease of use. Kept clean with a wipe. Good value - great warranty. Shouldnt need however you always do. Kenmore is a brand you can trust. When I was younger Kenmore was a brand that was passed down the family. Things were made good.

After two years of use it would not spin right and clothes stayed wet and had to wring clothes before putting in dryer. We had to call someone to fix problem then it started working alright.

I bought a Kenmore Elite Oasis HE automatic washer model number 110.27067601 serial number CT0570011 in late 2008 (along with the dryer). I also bought a one year extended warranty for it. Shortly after, the machine had the F1 error code and could not function. I called, a technician came out and replaced the control board. A couple years later, I had the same problem. The machine gets the F1 code while filling. I had to press the stop and start button at least four times to get the machine running again. Then 20 minutes before the cycle is over, it has another F1 error code. This time I have to press stop and start four more times. Being a busy physician I did not contact Sears and just tolerated the inconvenience for several years.I called and schedule a service call on March 20th, 2015. The technician, ** came to my house on March 25, 2015 along with another technician **. They did some diagnostic with their computer and told me I need a new control board. I asked ** what is the warranty for this new control board. He told me its only 90 days. I told him it is a bad product. He proceeded to argue with me he had nothing to do with it. Its the manufacturer of the board. I told him when I bought a machine I dont know whats inside. Anyway, an argument ensued. ** walked out and refused to service my machine. I was told the control board itself costs $180, with labor the total cost would have been $280. The board clearly is defective and theres no solution other than frequent costly replacement.If you take into consideration the cost of $300 with 90 days warranty. Essentially if the breaks down every 90 days, I would be wasting $300 every 90 days. The cost of owning this machine is prohibitive. In summary this machine is a lemon and its criminal for your company to put your name on it as your store brand and sell it for a high price. I would like to request one of the following solutions: 1) Refund for the cost of the machine, $800. 2) If refund is not possible, I request you provide to me another washing machine of my choice of similar value free of charge. 3) If both solutions 1 or 2 are not possible, I request for the next 15 years, that you provide free service and parts every time I get the F1 code. I feel extremely angry and deceived. As you can tell many other customers feel the same way as I have found on the internet. I am livid and would take the issue up with appropriate overseeing agencies to warn others of your callous practice of selling expensive appliances that dont work.
