My Kenmore clothes dryer is built like a tank! I bought it over twenty years ago and it still works like a champ. Sears sells and services them. I highly recommend Kenmore appliances.

We just purchased an Electrolux washer and dryer but it hasnt arrived yet. Our other set is a Kenmore front loader, which is okay but the rubber seal went out. So unless we wanted to pay $450.00 for the repair cost for a rubber seal, it made more sense to purchase a new set. The quality was poor in the Kenmore. Im looking forward to the new set!

We purchased a complete set of SEARS ELITE Kenmore frontload washer & dryer, plus drawers that go under each machine & last thing was metal cap/shelf that goes on top/across machines to keep items from behind or between machine gap is great for folding station. This is a wonderful set. It has all the bells & whistles I could ask for on both washer/dryer. Washer has a huge stainless steel drum that is great for doing large or very small loads. It save water & detergent. Dryer has capability of doing those large load or very small, it can do time set or automatic dryer. We use the TOUCH UP option when we miss taking a completed load out of dryer immediately & fold or hang. This complete system is wonderful. We have had this set since 2008 with no problem. I would definitely recommend this set to anyone.

I have a Kenmore Washer and Dryer that I bought together about 3 years ago. The dryer has worked perfectly without any mishaps. The washer on the other hand has leaked and had the pipe burst about 3 times now. The first year it was great and then the second year is when everything went bad. I would recommend getting a Kenmore dryer because its amazing and fast. If you like wet laundry rooms, then buy the washer too.

Long lasting dryer that completed dried load in one cycle. Easy to use and minimal upkeep. Would recommend to anyone as a starter dryer. Also owned the corresponding top load washer. Large enough capacity for towels, clothes, etc. Basic white dryer. Nothing too fancy or out of the ordinary. Simplistic. All in all a great value. Low cost and low maintenance, reasonable energy usage.

Reliable. I have had a Kenmore for over 40 years. When I want to replace my washer/dryer I go to Sears first because I know I will get the top rated products. They have good selection of washer/dryers, their service people are knowledgeable, and I know I am getting a good product.

The performance of my dryer is so good. The clothes come out looking like someone almost pressed them. It is perfect for any family to have and enjoy. My dryer is so reliable since it keeps running day after day and week after week and the clothes dry well. I dont see needing a new one for a long time. The appearance of my dryer is so appealing that my friends love it. I told them they need to buy the same brand as they can always get the job done right. The value is so wonderful as I know when I am looking for a new dryer I will choose the same brand as how can I go wrong with this super brand that does the job right every time.

Numerous Fdl, F11 and vibration problems: I purchased the machine in mid 2005 with five-year extended warranty. I had the CCU on both washer and dryer replaced. I complained numerous times over the course of five years about vibration and tub actually banging against the case. Each time, the technicians would stonewall me saying they could not replicate the problem. I repaired the CCU again and vibration has gotten worse. Finally, I heard about class action lawsuit going forward, but now after three years out of extended warranty, I am ready to give up and buy an LG or Samsung. So my laundry pair lasted 8 years and cost me over $2,000. My previous set cost half that and lasted 14 years. No more Sears for me, sad to say. Frustrating, to say the least.

This is the very best dryer I have ever owned. It is large capacity with several different settings for all types of drying needs. I especially like the sensor feature. This dryer is very reliable. Its energy-efficient and cost-effective. It is high capacity and dries very well. It is a good model for high use by a large family. The dryer is modern-looking with a stainless steel tub, white exterior and controls across the top of the unit. It is stylish and will complement any setting. The dryer is a very good value for amount of heavy duty use it receives each week and amount of time without repairs. Given all of the included features and durability of the unit, I consider it a good value.

Purchased dryer in 2013, just got it paid off and dryer started shutting off after a few minutes and getting error code CE. We have had the venting system cleaned by professional and new vent hose checked and there was no lint blockage. Repairman said it was motor. He put one that didnt work. He came back and put on new heating element... then didnt work. I have been without a dryer for 3 weeks. It will work if I unhook machine from dryer vent. What is the problem. I have seen many other complaints about Sears unable to fix this machine?

Can I put a negative star above? I purchased Kenmore elite washer and dryers on 11/06. I had nothing but problems for five years from the main circuit board on washer, with codes that even Sears phone tech couldnt even identify. I replaced two water pumps on the washer from coins getting into the pump. Now, the dryer continues to beep when running. It will even flash times when it is not even being used. I have to unplug the dryer when we arent using it so it wont keep beeping. I will never buy another washer or dryer from Sears again. The old style washer and dryers are by far better and more long lasting than these two.

My washer and dryer work great. I do many large loads and they hold up to the wear and tear like champs. They have never let me down and I expect them to keep going for years. I have never had a single issue with either my washer or dryer. They run consistently and perform with the efficiency that I expect. I have a top load washer and a front load dryer. The controls are easy to use. The white finish is easy to maintain and has been looking good for their constant and heavy use. I bought my washer and dryer during a Black Friday sale and couldnt be happier with the price I paid. They are energy-efficient and continue to prove cost-effective with the money I save in utility costs.

Kenmore devices seem to last longer and I have less problems with them. They are worth the money you pay for them and are reasonably rated with other types of washers and dryers. They dont break down a lot and when they do the parts are easy to get and it easy to get them worked on. Thankfully my fiancé has a lot of experience with plumbing so he usually fixes things himself.

I have had my Kenmore washer and dryer for almost 2 years. I have only had to have one repair on my washer and it was a fluke accident. I have been very pleased with both machines and would buy the same ones again.

I love the steam freshen up option available with my Kenmore Elite dryer. The only downside to this dryer and every dryer I have ever owned is being able to clean the lint area. The mesh basket is easy enough to clean but the area below is impossible to completely clean.

Kenmore Washing Machine Model # 110.21302013 - From the first week we owned this model, it has not cleaned our clothes as had our previous Maytag machines. This model is only 1 1/2 years old and weve been having problems with it not agitating and/or spinning almost immediately. It makes all the sounds like its doing something, but when you open the door, nothing is happening. Its hit or miss, too. Sometimes, Ill open the door after a cycle to put the wash into the dryer, and everything on the bottom is sopping wet. Ive tried adjusting the clothes thinking it didnt spin because its unbalanced, but even empty it wont spin. Then, two hours later, it might decide to spin. When I emailed Sears, I was sent a generic email response to the effect of, Your washer only has a one year warranty, unless you purchased extended warranty... I hope this information has been helpful. You are important to us so we hope that you will continue to make Sears your first choice for future purchases. Never again!

Ive had our washing machine and dryer for over 10 years and cant say enough great things about it! Its a champ! Our household does roughly 10 loads of laundry a week and its never had a bit of trouble with such heavy usage! Ive never had to call and have it repaired or serviced in any way!!!

I dont have to worry about wrinkles with the wrinkle guard. It has enough time on the timer where I do not have to keep restarting it. Its big enough to put in comforters and jeans. Its big enough to dry several pairs of jeans, blankets, wrinkle guard is perfect. My dryer looks sleek, modern. Its easy to clean inside and outside. My dryer shares space in the kitchen area and I dont have to cover it or hide it when company comes over. I was very satisfied with the price of my dryer. It was under 250.00. Very economical. I would buy another one or have it fixed if I ever had a problem with my current dryer.

I have had this dryer for 8 years, we have moved it 3 times and only had a repairman out once and he replaced a belt and cleaned out the lint trap and showed us how to clean out around the vent and the vent hose. He said to take the back off of the dryer once every year or two and take a vacuum and suck out all of the back so it doesnt get clogged up again and overheat the dryer.

The washer and dryer are several years old but still work well. I would feel comfortable buying another set because I know they would last through whatever my family puts them through.

It cleans my clothing. It works well. I only needed to have it repaired a couple of times over the years. It sometimes did not drain. Both have had their issues from time to time. Usually inexpensive to have repaired. They have survived three children growing up. Both machines are white and have the look of a traditional washer and dryer. They are in my basement so they dont need to look great. Given to me as a gift from my parents for my new house. I do not know how much they cost but they have lasted over ten years now and I have had minimal problems.

I only had one problem with washer. A leaking component in the front middle needed to be replaced after warranty expired. Cost about $135.00. Still works great after 22 years. No problems with the dryer.

It was powerful and reliable. The wash options were great. Never needed a repair or had any problems. It also saved on water and electricity expenses. It was the one washer that I never had any issues with. It never failed or had any problems. I would only buy Kenmore in the future. It would put repairmen out of business for good! It had a new XE appearance and wasnt over the top with options. It look great of in our house and was very easy to match both with another Kenmore or any other name brand dryer. Fantastic value. It was very competitive in pricing and when you take the reliability into consideration, the value only gets better. They could actually charge more and I would still probably buy them. But dont.

Have not had a Kenmore washer/dryer for more than 20 years. Kenmore was always dependable, and I liked what I had.

It washes the items the first time and takes up very little water. It is basically dry when you put them in the dryer making the dryer work less and getting clothes done quicker. It should hold up for at least 5 years before needed minor repairs as long as you treat it right and not abuse it. You should have no problems out of it for a long time. You can do less loads per day which in the long run saves water and power. It also runs in less time, but gets them just as clean as a normal washer would. It basically pays for itself! I dont know what else to say about it besides that it is a good washer and you would be happy to have it in your home.

This dryer is great. Super easy to use and very simple. Its nothing fancy and gets the job done and gets my clothes dry. The dryer is very quiet as well, which means I can run it at night without disturbing anyone. It can hold a large amount of towels as well as queen sized sheets at the same time. I go through a lot of towels, so knowing that I can dry them all at the same time and not have to divide it up into two loads is the best. The appearance is great. Its white and matches my washer. It blends in with the other appliances that I have and fits perfectly with the theme of my apartment. The value is great. I definitely believe that it is worth the price that I paid for it. I have had it for a few years and it is still going strong.

This dryer has AMAZING performance. I have very large comforters and had to always bring them to laundromats because of the size, until I bought this. It is very efficient on energy and spacious enough to wash some of the largest items. The reliability of this unit is SPECTACULAR! I have never had a single issue with it, not one. Others I have owned I have had issues with a few years into owning it. The appearance of this is great! Its attractive and elegant. It was a little more expensive than others in its class but with the savings in the energy usage and the physical size of the washer as far as what can fit in it, it is WELL worth the extra cost than others in its class! Value wise I HIGHLY recommend it!

Kenmore refrigerator is a great appliance. I have had no problems. Kenmore has great quality products that is affordable. I bought my Kenmore refrigerator about 3 years ago and it is still going strong. I highly recommend buying Kenmore appliances. I also have Kenmore washer and dryer set. Great appliances.

I had the washer and dryer for about 10 years. No problems with dryer but I had to have the washer repaired a few times. Overall like the Kenmore brand. Very reliable for the dryer. I have a family of 5 so I used them daily. The washer broke a belt and was very loud at times. I can not remember all the repairs but I had at least 7 calls for repairs over 10 days. I bought the basic model with no frills. The washer and dryer are both white and easy to keep clean. They look very good in my utility room next to each other. I purchased the base model with no special options. I have been very happy with the washer and dryer, and with the price I had to pay for them. I used the washer and dryer daily, and they were dependable.

Satisfactory, no special features but the price was appropriate and the job gets done at the end of the wash day. The dryer was easy to use and Kenmores customer was responsive and helpful. No issues as of yet, but I have not owned the dryer long enough to make an educated assessment. Based on price it has lasted long enough to justify it. Does not stand out with appearance, there is no trim and it is a very plain dryer but for the price that is an acceptable compromise. Door opens down can be a bit inconvenient. The value of this Kenmore brand is unbeatable. The reliability and features are missing but the price on sale can be fantastic and I am willing to overlook certain things for a good price.

My old washing machine broke. I had it for 15 years, never had to fix it. I kept looking at these beautiful washers in the store that would wash the whole bed spread. No more going to the laundromat to wash my bed spread I thought. So I bought the Kenmore elite wondering how it would clean my clothes with no agitator in it. I was told it was new technology. I dont know why I assume the makers knew what they were doing. I hate my washer for so many reasons. It doesnt clean my clothes very good, even a small load. When I put a large load in it, it knots the clothes up so bad I cant hardly get them apart. They are so wrinkled theyre almost permanently wrinkled. When I wash a bedspread it gets off balance and stops, so I have to pull the heavy thing out and restart many times until it finally finishes. That might not be so bad if it actually got clean. My dark cloths keep having a white residue on them and I can only guess that the light cloths do too. My whites are getting more and more dingy and whatever goes in with a spot comes out with a spot. Now Im looking for an older set like I had before on Craigslist and I dont know what to do with my 2000 dollar waste of money set because how can I sell it in good conscience knowing what a bad washer it is. The dryer I have had no problems with.

This washer is promoted as a large load, energy-efficient design. If you put more than half a load the washer spins so out of control that it shakes my whole 2 story house. Then it starts the rinse cycle again and drains in an attempt to even out the load. One time I let it progress to 10 extra cycles until I could not take it anymore and had to unplug, empty clothes wet, ring out by hand and then put in the dryer. The fact there has not been a recall or a buyback program is a joke. Whatever engineer designed, tested and put this to market should be ashamed of themselves.

Our machines so far have lasted for 18 years with no problems. They have done the job, worked well and have not required any repairs. What more can you ask from a washer and dryer.

I use them regularly. They are hardworking machines. My family has no complaints. I sometimes use the dryer instead of ironing. Easy to load. Would buy again. I would definitely recommend. Easier to use than others Ive had. Reasonably priced also. Easy to find. I had mine delivered for free. A real bonus. Even installed and all it cost me was a tip, by choice. Nice, sleek, and choice of colors. The dials are also a nice touch. Easy to operate. Also easy to keep clean. And lots of choices. I also enjoy how quiet they are. If I can afford them, so can you. They are reasonably priced and the life of the products makes it an even better deal. Affordable and long lasting products are what pulls me back.

I have always bought Kenmore. They are very reliable. Love mine very much. I had one for over thirty years or more ran perfect. I had two very messy girls that loved to play house outside. They made mud pies. Needless to say they became very dirty. My washer and dryer ran all the time. Very reliable machine. I ran mine everyday. My kids and husband changed their clothes two to three times a day. My ex did concrete, work my kids were just messy. I would never buy any other brand. I just cannot say enough how reliable this is both washer and dryers are. Mine are white with blue around the knobs. They are an awesome pair of machinery. They run day after day with no issues at all. I would never consider any other brand. They are affordable and in this day of bloated prices on crappy machine. Price wise they are perfect. They are awesome. We need a decent price on things we use daily along with they run so well they give you years of use.

It worked well. High efficiency, fairly quiet and durable. It lasted a long time with little repair needed. That is what I have for today. We had to replace a part but I dont remember which one it was. It was very reliable. You will like it. Everyone should get one and be happy with it. It was a nice white color, very appealing and clean looking and it had aggressive styling, better than most boxy washer and dryer. Its a freaking dryer. Very good value. We paid cash and received a discount. We didnt do financing because we dont want to be locked into a payment plan when we dont need to.

Model 25370313211 - I purchased this refrigerator November 22, 2012. Ten and 1/2 months later my freezer temperature started fluctuating from 0 to 18 degrees causing my food to thaw and partially refreeze. I contacted Sears within the first year of purchase and after several house calls and $1700 dollars worth of repairs they told me that any other problem would not be covered under the manufacture warranty. During the last few visits of repairs to my freezer my ice maker and water dispenser stopped working. Since this problem was not in the original complaint I had to pay for the repair. I was told by the repairman that it was a design flaw in the refrigerator and I would have that problem again which I did 3 months later. He showed me how to take the panel out of the inside and thaw the water line with a hair dryer. I have to thaw the waterline every eight weeks. This problem was not mentioned on the website when I purchased the refrigerator!!Less than a year after the last repair freezer temperature is fluctuating from 0 to 20 degrees (UNSAFE!) and Kenmore says they are no longer responsible. I spoke to 2 of the Kenmore service reps and they both agreed that the refrigerator I purchased was a lemon. One suggested that I speak to the store manager to see if he could help me. I spoke to him about my situation and he promised to call me in 3 days. He never returned my phone call. I went to the store and spoke to the assistant manager. He said that the products that they sell are not meant to last and that it was out of the stores hands since I had their Kenmore repairman work on my refrigerator. He again gave me their number and all they said is that they would offer me a 20% discount on my service. I told them that I did not have $1500 to spend on their defective product. Shame on you Sears!

We have had the washer since 2003. It has been quite reliable and fits the needs of a family of four. I had it when my son, who was in sports and Naval Sea Cadet Corp, was living with us and it handled large amounts of VERY dirty laundry. While it washes very well, the spin cycle is awful. It leaves the clothes VERY wet and we often have to run the spin cycle several times before putting the clothes into the dryer. Also, the washer is very dated, plain and boring and has a cheap appearance. It does not have any redeeming qualities with regard to the aesthetics of the washer. But I believe that the washer is a good value for the price. It is a below base model – purely to perform a function.

It heats really well. Ive had it for over 12 years now. It is fairly quiet. I love the value of the dryer. It was very affordable. Capacity and energy efficiency is what I will look for when this dryer plays out. Id like to purchase something that is really energy efficient and very compact and nice looking with all the bells and whistles. I would not buy another dryer that requires regular repairs. Any dryer that I purchase must be of high quality even if it is without the bells and whistles. It really heats well. It is fairly quiet and it was an excellent price. It is a full size model - very basic looking nothing fancy to look at but it is a workhorse. The light has gone out in it but it still works as if it was new. Ive only had it cleaned once since I had it.

It lasted a long time and it even washed my neighbors clothes too. It provided a big wash basin for my familys jeans. I love the way it handled comforters and blankets. The dryer got nice and hot.

Its great. Easy to use. Clean my clothes very good and the dryer is also great. Dry fast and very Energy efficient. Great price. Save a lot of space in my laundry room. Very reliable. Its never once not work for me. I love it and it very dependable. Looks great in my house. Match my other Appliances. Nice white colors. Wouldnt trade it for nothing. Kenmore is a brand well spoken for. I was able to purchase the washer and dryer. The washer is an exceptional washer of clothes. The machines are easy to clean. If parts have to be replaced easy to find. I love the brand and the name is dependable and reliable. The representatives are knowledgeable and attentive to your needs in what type of appliance will work for you.

First off, I grew up with Kenmore products. Got a Kenmore sewing machine in 1989, and it still works great. Bought a cheap Kenmore washing machine & dryer in 1994, and had those until 2008. Replaced a few parts here and there, but never an ounce of problems really. ONLY got rid of them because when I first bought them, we were a family of 3, and by end of 2008, we were a family of 9. Bought a Kenmore 800 washer in 2008. Had to call for repair within a year. Never ever had more problems again. Until tonight. Sounds like its whining or whiny. I did find a YouTube vid. Help!

Washer and dryer works very well. I was extremely pleased in its performance and longevity. They were very quiet, energy efficient. Also I like the color and durability of the machine. The washer and dryer were very reliable I never had a problem turning it on and it working just the way it was supposed to. Nice. The energy saving feature was good and saving energy. Theyre very colorful. The dials are easy to read and easy to adjust. The doors are wide enough to put in the larger loads and comforters. Theyre very aerodynamic. Can fit in a confined area without it being crowded. They performed up to their standards making laundry very easy and enjoy to do.

It always seemed to work really well in keeping my clothes feeling and smelling clean. Never had issues with either washer or dryer. Only reason we dont have them anymore is because we finally decided to upgrade to a newer model. Very easy to keep clean as well. I never had an issue with it breaking down or having to fix any parts to it. Always seemed to get the job done when I needed it to and I do an average of at least 7 loads per week so I never once had a problem with either washer or dryer. It was very simple but thats what I most loved about them. Most of the newer washers and dryer have all these different buttons for certain washes and it can get confusing. For the price that I paid for both the washer and dryer I feel the value was amazing. Couldnt have really asked for a better combo for the price and it definitely was worth buying the set together.

I have a Kenmore washer and dryer. The pair is working on its 25th year of providing clean and dry clothes! Had other brands in years past and not any compare when it comes to longevity! Remember getting parts replaced on former appliances which was an expensive outlay and only provided a few months of extra use. Highly recommend Kenmore!

This washing machine has so much room for really large loads, cutting down my laundry time by at least half. Probably more. I love it so much. This is the best and most reliable washing machine I have ever used. Works like a dream every single time I use it. I see no reason to believe that this will change anytime soon. It is a beautiful washing machine and the dryer that goes with it is too. They make my laundry room so beautiful and Im proud to show it off. It has been a terrific value for my money thus far, as I have previously elaborated on, cuts my laundry time by half at least.

Ive had my Kenmore washer and dryer for 2 years. Its the very first washer and dryer Ive ever had. Ive never had a problem with them. I wash 3 to 4 loads of clothes weekly. They have a nice capacity for my family and I clothing to be washed. They wash clothing fast and get them nice and clean.

Several years ago when we first purchased Kenmore devices they were reliable and the service was great. The past few years the devices have not been as good quality wise or service wise. The last dryer we purchased was just dumped off and not properly installed. We had to go back to the store and complain before the job was done correctly.

Weve had our Kenmore washer and dryer for 20 years or more and have been completely satisfied with them. The washer has had to be repaired occasionally, but its never been very expensive - much better to repair it than having to buy a new one.

The washer worked for a good 7 years then just started having little glitches during the wash cycle. We were offered a brand new set for free from a family member so thats the main reason we got rid of our Kenmore washer and dryer.

I inherited my grandparents Kenmore washer and dryer when they passed away. The washer and dryer must have been well over 10 years old and still alive and kicking! I used them for at least another 5 years or so before I had to replace the dryer. I was so impressed with how long this set of washer and dryer lasted, that I ended up replacing them with newer models of Kenmore. I really liked that they cleaned my clothes well, dried them good and the products lasted so long! If they are good enough for my grandparents, then they are good enough for my family and I.

The product dries everything very well. It has enough categories to cover all different types of clothes and fabrics. I have never had any problems drying blankets or loads of towels, let alone standard loads of clothes. It is very easy to use, just pick your setting and push the button. The sensors know how long your load needs and will set the timer accordingly. It also has a classic appearance that fits in with any laundry room. While the controls are modern, the body remains fully classical and never grows old. Also, it doesnt use that much electricity and will chime when the load is done. It does its job every time without fail. What more could you ask for in a dryer?

Poor quality on Model 1105072012 Kenmore washer. We bought this washer, and a dryer on 3/17/2015. The washer was so noisy, we took it back. Second washer had a broken pump, and flooded the house. This is the 3rd one, and after 1 year it simply stopped, with the lid lock light flashing. Couldnt get it to self diagnose, so I bought a new lid lock ($56), and after running for part of a cycle it did it, again. Called the store... And SURPRISE!!! They have no record of the sale OR the extended warranty!! Same type of problems with the toaster, and coffee maker, so we will NEVER buy ANYTHING from Sears/Kmart, again!! Since we cant find the receipt, its a lost cause.

It is a really good washer. It really gets the stains out especially from white clothes and its very good with color clothes as well. It doesnt rip the clothes or damages them. It is really reliable. It hasnt broken down or anything. It keeps the clothes looking like new. Its really good quality for a washer. I would recommend this brand and washer to people. It has a nice appearance. Since its white you might just have to clean it every once in a while so it doesnt get scratches or really dirty. The buttons are easy to control bits and outstanding appearance. The value of the washer is pretty good. I could just imagine the value of the dryer. I would really recommend the washer. It is really good with the clothes. Im hoping to have the dryer pretty soon as well.

I needed something to clean my laundry, and at the time Kenmore is all I could afford because I have just moved to another State and I have never gotten another one since this has held up for about 6 years now, and they were used 5 years before we got the set. I hope they will hold up a lot longer. Just until I pay off some of my other bills, I will use this set as long as it holds up. The washer is a top loader, the dryer has the door on the front, and they both do the job I need them to do. I do about 8 loads a laundry every 2 weeks since there is only 2 of us in the household. They are good for the price we paid for them, and would get them from the same company again when we need to get another set. Hopefully I will not need them for a while.

I bought this set the Kenmore Elite front load washer and dryer model 41100/81100. So disappointed. They are an expensive set paying $1500 a piece! 2 Years old about six months ago I had a repairman in to change the rubber molding on the washer. It stains no matter what you do! I tried wiping it out after each use leaving the door open to dry out (which I shouldnt have to do these things). The smell is awful. I have bought cleaners, bleached it, vinegar any trick possible to get my clothes not to stink! My towels are garbage. Now they smell like mold... My dryer just went down too! Only works about 10 minutes. Shuts off with error message! I wont even call the repairman this time. Not going to throw more money out my window! As soon as Im able this set will be on the street in the garbage pile! I paid a little more to get the Kenmores for their reputation of being quality! I wont be purchasing anything from Sears again!

I purchased my Kenmore Heavy-Duty washer and dryer set the next week available after I got married in Feb 1976 (seventy-six). That makes it about mid-March 1976. Here now in Jan 2020 I can truthfully say that I never had one speck of trouble from the set until now when the washer stopped draining. Having a Sears repairman respond to fix the problem revealed that it cannot be repaired. I must now try to find another Kenmore Washer. Admittedly, I did not use it on any routine regularity and once not used at all when in an apartment without a hookup for a couple years. But, I suspect I won't need it to last as many as 44 more years since I'm now 73 years old. It worked just great for me!

It is an amazing machine. I love how efficient it is. It always works amazing. I recommend this machine to everyone who is looking for an awesome experience with a new set washer and dryer. I love mine and I wouldnt change it. It fits a very large load of clothing and towels. It doesnt take very long to dry at all and it always works amazingly.

This Kenmore Dryer was something that was inherited when we purchased our home. It is a basic dryer and it is very neat and clean looking. Also, I do at least two loads of laundry per day. It works great and consistently dries my clothes the way I like them. I would definitely purchase another one. I think Kenmore products are the best.

It gets my familys clothes clean whether it is a large or small load. I have had a family of six and now there are just two of us left at home. It just keeps working. This washing machine has been working for over ten years with no service problems. I can fit larger items like blankets in it or do my finest washable on the hand washing cycle. It still looks great! In fact, it is older than my dryer but it looks better because the paint has lasted well and it still looks relatively modern considering it was bought before the famous front-load look came into style. This purchase has been well worth it. Any washing machine that has done the amount of laundry I have done that has lasted over ten years is worth its weight in gold.

It only lasted us about a year and quit on us. It should work longer than that. What a rip-off. I had a refrigerator from Hotpoint that lasted me 14 years. Why cant a dryer last that long? It was a simple washing machine. It did not have all the digital stuff on it, which is the way I like them. I dont like all of those digital stuff on it. That makes it complicated. Not a very good value if you pay all that money and it only works a year. I would expect a digital one to break easier but this was one of the simple ones with just knobs on it. It should not have stopped when it did.

When drying clothing or blankets, it is very quiet and runs so smoothly. The second thing I most really enjoy and love about the dryer is that like a lot of other ones I had in the past, this one doesnt rock back and forth. I am very happy with my dryers performance. Reliability is so great. I am proud that if anything goes wrong with it, I can rely on customer services warranty. Fortunately I dont think Id ever need their warranty since the dryer is stable so far. I am very very satisfied with the appearance. Its like no other one I have had in the past. It tends to give off a pretty nice look/style unlike the past dryers I have had in the past. Value is great too. I had purchased it the day it was on a special clearance sale. I think I paid like $250, but it doesnt matter, It is definitely worth more than that price and I am glad I have finally found the dryer I was always looking for.

I love Kenmore appliances... They are efficient, reliable, long lasting, models to fit every budget yet doesnt affect the quality... Great product... My washer lasted over 10 years my dryer 11... I have a beautiful refrigerator that works perfectly.

Kenmore was quiet and very efficient. I never had any issues with it the entire time I owned and used it. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a dryer. I was very happy with it. In fact, I would purchase the same dryer again if I needed to. It was perfect. I liked that it was a lean and not overly bulky. It didnt take up too much room. It was very affordable, especially when you consider how long it lasted, and how often I used it. I would have no problem paying for it again.

The washer and dryer are very reliable, warranty is awesome. The features are great! Never had an issue and I have owned them for a couple years now. Still going strong. I would recommend this brand to anyone.

Mine is a basic white dryer, not fancy, no step up, just a dryer, but its perfect for me and my family. It looks like a normal dryer. Fits all my needs perfectly. I love it, it is simple and easy to use, even my teenager can understand. Also, I love the brand, very trustworthy. Even my older dryer, I wouldnt change a thing. Very dependable, quiet, excellent dryer. I love the buzzer feature that lets me know its done, also how it starts back up after a bit if I havent unloaded it to prevent wrinkles. It wasnt expensive, basic dryer, but its value to me is priceless. It makes life so much easier. To think of doing laundry at a laundromat makes me cringe, even hanging clothes outside makes me cringe.

3 years never any problems. They run well, look like new, no leaks, no noises, dry well, wash well, no problems, quiet, efficient, and built tough. Great washer and dryers. They are reliable in the fact that they have never broken down, never had to pay any out of pocket costs, no repairs, no leaks. Great product, well made, long lasting, great resale value. White, side by side top loading washer, front loading dryer, electric dryer, 3 prong plug for dryer, still has the blue film on them, look brand new after 3 years. I paid around 600 for the pair and sold them for 1/2 at 300 after 3 years due to moving, so pretty good resale value and probably could have gotten more if I had the time.

Strong... Fast and everything you would want. Not only does it quickly wash all your clothes. It gives it a special soothing smell that makes it AMAZING. And when I bought it... It was cheaper than other dryers and washers. I love it. It has a Nice... Professional... Cool look. I would look at it and be like DAYUM you is a fine washer. But then other ones are like What the hell is that. VALUE is perfect. It looks good. It washes good. It is new. The only thing I would change is how long it would stay a good washer.

I trusted Kenmore appliances until my recent purchase. I bought a high end washer and dryer, including service plan. Washer has been a pain from the start, five service calls later and still not fixed. The repairman today said he couldnt do anything about it and told my husband to deal with it!! SHODDY JUNK product, terrible customer service. STAY AWAY!

Dryer has been dependable for years. Gets clothes dry in a reasonable amount of time and we have never had any issues with it. I would definitely buy a Kenmore again. Our Kenmore dryer has been completely reliable. We have not had one issue with it. Weve taken it on two cross country moves and it still works flawlessly. The appearance of our dryer is fine. Its not a showpiece but its pleasant enough. It is white and has clean lines, with blue accents on the dials. I am very happy with the value of our Kenmore dryer. We bought it starting out in our first house without a lot of money, but it has been dependable and we have not had any reason to upgrade even though we could now.

I love my washer and dryer. They work well and hold up well under extreme usage, and they last!! Whether its one load, or ten loads, I know I can count on my washer and dryer to take care of them quickly and efficiently. Doesnt matter how many loads of clothes I have to do, I know I can rely on my washer and dryer to help me get the job done fast and efficiently. Nothing fancy, but fancy isnt what cleans your clothes. They look like a washer and dryer are supposed to look like, top load washer, front load dryer. I know I have more than gotten my moneys worth out of my set, and its still going strong. Believe its gonna last for more years to come. Its the best money I have spent in a long time.

I bought a Kenmore Elite in 2011. Within 3 months, a board went bad and it kept saying SUD - no biggie; it was under warranty. Now, its 2 years and 2 months old. I called Sears for another problem. The drum has gone bad and needs replacing; the drum and other parts are warrantied but the $665 in labor is not. Really??? Do you think they would think about giving you a labor price that is higher than most new washers in their store? Do they expect people to logically agree to these labor prices instead of buying a new washer? This front loading washer with all the bells and whistles was on sale and did not even cost that much to buy!!! I have never had an issue with a washer or dryer. Growing up, we had one for 15 years with no problems. Luckily, I found out my home warranty will pick up the costs but this is a per occurrence thing so if it breaks again, I have no backup to pay for it. What a piece of junk - 2 years old and all these problems. If I have any more problems, I am going out to buy a new non-Sears product washer since it will be cheaper than fixing this junker which will probably have another problem in the next two years. Do not buy Kenmore!!!!! You are wasting your money and it will waste your time constantly having to get it repaired. Im SO Sorry that Sears has gone so downhill and that their service is horrible.

I purchased a Kenmore Elite Dryer from Sears at Southpark Mall, Strongsville, Ohio.This dryer was not cheap. Although I am very sorry I did not purchase the warranty plan. I did not, because in past years I never had trouble with Kenmore appliances.This dryer is so loud! I did call a few times to complain about it. I recommend that no one purchases this dryer. It has gotten to the point where it sounds like someone is beating it with a baseball bat! Unbearable. And finally it came to the point that I dont feel safe with it running. I am forced to purchase another new dryer! This one is only 5 yrs old now. This is a gas dryer and I am afraid of the thing actually blowing up in the house because the shaking and banging is so rough and loud. I feel it has already affected the gas line. Dont buy a Sears Kenmore Elite! An employee actually hung up on me 3 years ago when I complained about this dryer!This dryer is a safety issue in your home!

Immediately once I bought it I knew that it would be easy to use. After trying it for my first time I was hooked and it did the trick as it washed all of our clothes extremely easily. So far it seems extremely durable and works like a charm. The only downside is that you still have to remember when to get your clothes out. The appearance is what most people seem to want in a washer/dryer, a good aesthetically pleasing coat of white with some chrome around certain spots. Its definitely worth the price even if others say it isnt. I use it almost every day for all of my kids and my wifes clothes so you know it does the job for the price.

Its okay for the most part. Although it takes a while to dry and it stops before the clothes are completely dry. If this issue was fixed it would be the best dryer in the world. But I mean a dryer is a dryer and when youre broke you take what you can get.

I have had Kenmore washers and dryers for years, have a ten+ year old set in one house and two four year old sets in another house and an apartment, they just keep on running...When they retire I will replace them with a new set of Kenmore appliances....

I think this dryer is very efficient. It is usually really good at drying things but it doesnt always handle big loads well. Otherwise I am very satisfied with it. I think this dryer is awesome. It works super well 99.9% of the time. The dryer is pretty plain but overall it is nice. I think maybe this model could be offered in a few different colors. There is other models that offer different colors so maybe have the same option for this one. I really enjoy this dryer. It wasnt too expensive. It also has held its value very well.

Washer and dryer work perfectly. Had them for years with no problems. We only buy Kenmore appliances. We have had some of our appliances for decades. Washer and dryer is always reliable. Clothes are clean and fresh. Towels are always fresh and soft. Kenmore has the best appliances. The appearance of the Kenmore appliances work well in any home. My Kenmore dryer is so old that it is the old avocado green from the seventies. Value just goes with the Kenmore brand. Not cheap. Very good quality for what you pay.

I loved the quality of the refrigerator and the fact that Kenmore has a great brand name and recognition. Have used their washers and dryers for years with no issues. I loved the fridges top double doors and the bottom pullout freezer. There was plenty of space in both the upper and lower portions of it and pullout shelves were fantastic and spill proof. Lots of room but lighting in the interior could have been a little better but it was just fine. The freezer was great also.

I contacted Kenmore right away. I got no response at all! Washer model number 110.5072011. Date of production is 3/16/14. This washer is JUNK! It senses, fills, drains a little, refills, sits for hours on end. Its now a month old and I baby-sit the piece of junk otherwise it does nothing. Ive never hated anything more. It should not take hours for a load. I wanted new because the old one at least 35 years old was taking what I felt was a long time to wash. This is what I get for thinking. At least the old one ran, washed the clothes faster, I could open the lid anytime I felt like it. It actually switched cycles! I hate Kenmore, will never buy anything made by them again. Im going to buy another Brand new washer but it will not be a Kenmore! Im not scamming anyone else into this pile of garbage either. Im using it for target practice! (I live in the country so I can do that) Im recording it, sending it to Kenmore! They are the worst company out there! Bad products. Horrible customer service. Ignoring consumers just makes them angry. So good-bye Kenmore. I hate you, will post reviews about you, your horrible product everywhere. Avoid this washer! The dryer I bought with it is fine but this washer will make you angry every time you touch it.

I had it for several years and I didnt have a single problem with it. Best investment I ever made. Unfortunately after a long while it did break down. This washer or dryer was insanely reliable. In the time span that I owned this machine, it didnt break down a single time. There is nothing more reliable than this. This looked very modern in my house. It was very stylish. The best part about it is it is one of the only washer or dryers out there that look good and perform well. There is no other machine out there that you can get more out of your money for. It is relatively cheap and performs as if it were the most expensive washer our there.

It does a good job getting the clothes clean. Best purchase choice I have made in a long time. I would definitely recommend it for doing a great job cleaning any size load. It is a good color, matches the dryer. Modern look piece of furniture. Makes a good addition to your laundry room. Cost efficient. It was well worth the money I paid for it. Happy with the washer.

Its been a great and dependable product. If and when I did have problems it was easy to service the machines because of how well known the brand is. Kenmore products are also easy to find so when I want to upgrade my washer or dryer it easy to find replacement for they are sold at most retailers. I have had my machine for about 5 years and had no problems.

In over 14 years of usage of approximately 4-5 loads per week, the door latch gizmo went out twice and the control panel twice. Washer washes really well. Being the HT model must not use too much detergent. Gas dryer dries great. Overall the brand (Kenmore) is not bad. I know there are newer ones out with lots of gadgets but Im not a fan of these. I need a few cycles to cover most typical usage and these are great for that.

Weve had them for a long time and the dryer is starting to wear out. I mean its fine I guess but its so annoying at this time so who even really knows. SIIIGH. Anyway. I will tryyy to fix you.

Time to replace our 16 yr old washer and dryer. So many bad reviews out there... We felt we had to choose the lesser of the evils because there was no overall good washer/dryer out there! We found a good deal on the Kenmore Elite top load washer model 31512 and the matching dryer model 61512. I expected problems to arise from all the complaints about electronics and washer stopping.... Been using it for 2 months now and I have to say I am pleasantly surprised! The errors that did occur were normal occurring errors w/ any washer. Got excited about the extra large tub and I loaded it up! (We are a family of 6!) Of course it didnt clean well. (Had to try it anyways! lol!) The 2 times it shut off was due to imbalance. My old washer would have shut off too. It appears that if you keep opening and shutting the lid while its filling up it will add more water too. Wanted to keep peeking inside and was alarmed at all the water usage! Then I figured out it was every time I opened the door it would add more water. My FAVORITE is the quick wash cycle!! Not only does the larger tub allow me to do more laundry, but I can pick Quick cycle and itll be done in 35 minutes not an hour!! Whoooo Hoooo!! (Of course real dirty stuff I stay on the normal cycle.) The dryer is great. Because the washer spins the heck out of the clothes, the dryer doesnt take as long to dry. Also, lots of complaints about it not cleaning..... I honestly think it may be an overloading issue. You cant stuff it. 3/4 the way up the wall is enough to load it and if you want to add more water, you just push a button. I really do like this so far. Oh....if you are wanting the dryer rack to go inside the dryer for shoes and sweaters I have battled the giant on this for you... They sent me the wrong rack twice and insisted that it was the right one. I had to send photos to the consumer affairs dept and such to prove the rack they were sending was wrong! Come to find out the warehouse was pulling the incorrect rack because the manufacturer was out of the correct one. One size does not fit all! This has been going on over a month to get the correct rack. Make sure you get rack 3751EL1001B. It is NOT symmetrical like the 3750 version. Hope this helps some of you out there and you are pleased with it like I am. :)

After 52 years of great performing Maytag sets, we decided to buy into the HE type washer. The $1400.00 combined price for the Kenmore Elite top-of-the-line set was an immediate disaster (Jan.1911). From day one, both the washer AND the dryer left clothes with a nasty odor. We wiped the washer dry, left washer and dryer doors open when finished, tried bleach, vinegar, baking soda, Tide and Affresh washing machine cleaners to no avail, for (3) years.Fortunately, we bought the extended warranty for the washer ONLY and after the first year, the clutch went out. Then we had the infamous recall to fix spinning problems which resulted in increasing an already unbearable cycle time. Service Calls could not help with the odor situation and we could no longer put up with barely washed and dried smelly laundry and pitched a brand new beautiful looking washer and dryer set out the door. Replaced with a wonderful Speed Queen, American-made set.

Very little to clean the insides of the washer and leave a good looking machine outside and inside. Kenmore is a leader in laundry machines. There is an automatic value when a Kenmore product is bought. These are well built machines and they have a good endurance rep.

They were both extremely reliable. They were both spacious. I could do all my clothes in one afternoon. Ive never had a problem with them breaking down. I expect them to last for at least 5 more years. I believe this to last for many more years. The reliability of Kenmore is astounding. I could work these to the bone and have, and they have stood up to multiple loads a day. The Kenmore washer and dryer are simple yet sleek with their design. We purchased our Kenmore Elite HE5 Steam dryer 5 years ago. We have been satisfied with the performance. Recently the dryer malfunctioned. It would turn on, but would not begin the drying cycle. Online it was recommended to replace the thermal fuse for under $20. I replaced the fuse and the dryer still didnt work. I scheduled a Sears repair technician to repair the dryer. He determined that the door switch malfunctioned. He said he normally carried on, but was out. After checking he determined that the part was on back order for the next 2-3 months. I called local suppliers and they stated this is problem with the model and there were 15 in front of me waiting for the part. I contacted Sears and they were of no help. Their solution was to wait for the back ordered part or buy a new dryer. Sears was of no help. If anyone has a source for the door switch it would be greatly appreciated.

It works fine for smaller lighter loads and dries them in a decent amount of time. A full load of blankets, towels or sheets takes hours to dry. So long that I only let it run an hour at a time. It has lasted a good while and never had a problem except not being able to dry a full load of towels or blankets. I often clean the filter but every time I use it, its clogged up again. It looks just like any ordinary dryer of that type. It doesnt have a modern appearance but the way it looks is just fine. It looks exactly like any other dryer from the same era. It seems like a fairly good value considering how long it has lasted with no problems.

My Kenmore dryers performance is efficient and gets the job done quickly and quietly. Its also easy to use and takes the guesswork out of trying to figure out drying times. My Kenmore dryer has plenty of room for all my needs. Its especially useful for washing larger loads of pet linens and bedding, and handles delicate clothing as well. My Kenmore dryers appearance is good. The front load feature is convenient especially when drying blankets as being able to see items helps to know if things are bunching up. My Kenmore dryer is a good value because it is energy efficient and allows me to dry more items together which in turn means being able to do fewer loads.

Gets the laundry done. Parts had to be replaced twice. Takes longer to dry and wash. But it does what it does. Sometimes there are residues. It fits lots of clothes, jeans and towels. But it does leave soap residues sometimes, which kind of sucks. Its very simple and easy to use. All basic functions. Its basically load and select and start. Not very technical compared to others. Not a lot of buttons or knobs. Its worth it. Just like everything else, if you take care of it, it will last and be worth what its valued. It could be lowered since all these new and improved washers and dryers are coming out.

Purchased a Kenmore Elite Washer & Dryer on Dec. 13, 2019. One week later I got water damage to my laundry room cabinets and drywall due to water leaking from the steam hose connected to the dryer. Still haven’t heard back from the Sears Insurance company and my laundry room smells like mildew and mold now. They think it’s the hose from the appliance? The washing machine is okay but started to make a funny noise when it starts and the speed cycle takes forever to finish. I was scared to keep these products even though I purchased a five year warranty.Due to all these problems in just a short time owning them we decided to return both items. “No Confidence” in these Kenmore appliances. Customer service department was a bit frustrating to deal with, dealing with water damage, the smell and not understanding what they were saying was not a good experience. I do not recommend these products! My previous 16 year old washer and dryer were Kenmore Elite. Quality really has gone down!☹️

Do Not Buy Kenmore products!!! I purchased all new Kenmore. Elite appliances 3 years ago... plus a front load washer and dryer. Washer had to be replaced 18 months later. Microwave lightbulbs... requires 2... $35 a piece! Now the Elite bottom freezer refrigerator has died... 3 years and thousands of dollars later... same experience as everyone else here. No wonder Sears is going under. Customer service is HORRIBLE. Repairman finally came out and replaced the compressor... 2 days later and unit is not cooling enough. Now I have to go through this garbage again. Repairman said he has at least two of these repairs a day. Compressors are NO GOOD. STAY AWAY FROM KENMORE!!!

Bought both washer and dryer. Have lasted 5 years. So far no major problems. Very happy with my decision to buy new. I believe that is why they have lasted so long but I also only have a household of 2 so not much wear and tear in that area.

My first purchase of a Kenmore Refrigerator was in 1998 when I purchased my new home. It lasted with no problems until December of 2012. I figured 14 years for 1,000 was worth it even though some say they last up to 20 years. Anyway, being satisfied, of course, I looked for another Kenmore to replace my old one and surprisingly found one for a little under a grand even though it was 14 years later. Well, I got too excited because as the old saying goes, you get what you pay for. The refrigerator looked nice and was up to par however, the material that it was made out of was very cheap and flimsy. I had a pitcher of tea on the side compartment and the handle was protruding just a little so when I closed it, it hit the shelf just barely, I swear, and the white part covering the glass shelf just broke off. And this happened within 3 months. I was so devastated that my practically new fridge was now damaged that I called about getting it replaced. I had to get a shelf replaced in my old one and it only cost $15 so I figured it would be no more than $25? Boy was I wrong. They wanted $150 to replace the shelf even though it certainly wasnt worth it. Then all of a sudden, without any impact, I started noticing cracks all over the refrigerator. One on the side door, one on the bottom drawer. Cracks were showing up in places that had no chance of being hit so I came to the conclusion that the material was just cheap junk and now my refrigerator is barely 3 years old and it has all of these cracks in it and frankly, its embarrassing. Im not going to buy a new one just because of cosmetics so I guess Im stuck with this inferior crap until I need a new one due to malfunction. But Ill tell you one thing, I will DEFINITELY NOT get another Kenmore. I dont know what Kenmore was doing in 2012, but they certainly werent looking out for their customers. Price probably didnt go up like expected over 14 years because they cut back on the quality of their material, but they should know that in the long run, that will cost them and not make them profits because I will never buy another Kenmore again. And that includes my washer and dryer, microwave as well.

Their products are amazing. I have had the same wasyer and dryer set for 10 years with no problems at all. Always dries my clothes the first time and the washer is amazing. I can wash two normal loads of clothes at one time which saves a lot of time.

If you have nice clothes you want better dependable washers and dryers to keep your clothes nice. You want to be able to keep your clothes looking new and not all day every time you wash and dry them. You want to be able to wash and dry your clothes knowing that the machinery is not going to break down any time while youre using them. We have never had to have a service person come up to the house to look at any of our washer dryers that are the Kenmore brand. Its now the year 2016 getting ready to be the 2017. You want top of the line modern appliances that fit with your interior and the modern look of your house. You dont want washer and dryers that look like theyre made in the 1950s. We bought our washer and dryer brand new and even with the payments had them paid off within a year and a half. Very reasonable and didnt even notice the money missing from our banking accounts as the we paid the bills.
