Freezer performs well, icemaker makes lots of ice, I never run out. The fridge is evenly cold and roomy, drawers slide well. I have 2 kids, and they are in and out of the fridge and it maintains an even temperature. This is the perfect size for a family of four although I would say that side by side do limit you somewhat in what you can freeze in the freezer. I ended up buying a secondary freezer, a Kenmore!! But for everyday life this is perfect. This fridge has a sleek and modern look that looks nice in most any kitchen today. It does smudge, so you will have to buy stainless steel cleaner. Value is really in the eye of the beholder but when you factor in the looks, size, and performance for the price you pay you cant go wrong.

Dont buy the Kenmore Elite series side-by-side refrigerator/freezer. I bought this product and have had several problems with it prior to the warranty expiration. The freezer bins keep cracking. The refrigerator temp could not be controlled, it was freezing all of the food. The doors did not seal properly. The latest incident is that the refrigerator and freezer are no longer cooling. We have tried to get an emergency repair appointment and were told that we would have to wait 12 days because there were no appointments available until that date. Meanwhile, all my food, about $500 worth has spoiled and the only compensation that was offered was $160 for reimbursement for a small refrigerator.

Worked great! Never had any problems with it at all. With a family of seven, it could have been roomier. Maybe more shelving or deeper shelving. More compartments maybe as well. Seemed like I always needed more room for bottles and jugs, etc.. My refrigerator looked great! It really wasnt anything too fancy but yet it had a clean sleek design to it. It was white in color rather plain but it matched and has very clean looking. I believe it was a fantastic value including style, design, price and especially dependability. I would most definitely recommend it for sure.

Kenmore has always been a great product with great design. Very dependable and their repair service was superior. Sad how things have changed. Im in the market for a new refrigerator as my Kenmore is almost 20 years old but still works very well!!

Ive trying to my fridge fixed since March 2016. Its now September 15th 2016 and my manufacture warranty will run out in the next 10 days. Problem: Ice doesnt work. Beeps for no reason (thinks a door is open when that is incorrect). All lights do not work (If I unplug the unit, the lights work for about 5 minutes). Issue with service: Ive been contacting Whirlpool customer service to fix a Kenmore product (Sears told me to call them). They have sent the technician 6 times. Nothing has been fixed. They have changed many parts but with no change in the actual problem. Im worried that theyre just trying to wait out the 12 month warranty and then Im stuck with a broken fridge... Ive tried calling Sears many time. Both Sears and Whirlpool are unable to solve the problem. Sears says they cant touch the product until after the manufacture warranty. That doesnt make sense to me. Please be very careful with Kenmore products made by Whirlpool. They dont care.

The Kenmore refrigerator was a top performer. It had a large freezer compartment located on the top. The shelves and storage compartment were ample. The roomy interior afforded adequate space. It was easy to clean with a damp cloth. Exterior surface looked good. The roomy interior, vegetable and meat compartments and upper freezer had plenty of room for my family of four. Also, there were the right number of shelves which adjusted a height to accommodate your every need. Frankly, the appearance was quite ordinary with no outstanding features. It was of average height, white finish, with no decorative features. Overall, I perceive the value of my Kenmore refrigerator as good. Both the interior and exterior were easy to keep clean by just washing occasionally with soap and water. The see through bins made it easier to find what you were seeking in a timely manner. I would buy a Kenmore refrigerator again.

The refrigerator keeps food real cold and easy to clean. It not hard to move to clean behind of it. The price is inexpensive for this type of refrigerator. The size was enough to put everything in it. I needed for a small family. The freezer part was a enough for the frozen items. I kept small size frozen items in it. The overall appearance is fine. It easily wipes clean. No harsh chemicals needed to clean it. Just a damage cloth really. Im not sure what I paid for it but it was within my budget. Overall good value for the money.

This refrigerator is 24 years old and just will not die. I have had the total ice maker replaced and the water fill valve replaced. Other than that the thing works perfectly. My wife would like to update, but cant see getting rid of something that has been with us half of our married life until it quits completely.

Purchased an expensive French Door Bottom refrigerator from Sears in Feb. of 2013. Last week it stopped working. Called the Sears Service and they said they will charge $99 to come out and then give an estimate for the repairs. They also tried to sell me their 5-year warranty for $324.0 which is sold for $150 by Home Depot and Lowes. I called another repair service who charged me $65 to check the problem and said that compressor is not working would cost $750.00 to replace the compressor. We decided to junk the refrigerator and buy an LG two-door top freezer for $990. Will never again buy a Sears brand product.

This fridge was a great item to have in your kitchen and safe to place your food in and store grocery. Great product to buy in from Sears which they seek great Kenmore items. It did fit into the kitchen area very well and worked very well and long lasting of what need to do. The color of the fridge was black and shiny. Pleasing to the eyes that you could show to your family or friends and when you have gatherings at home and you can take your leftovers and place them into the fridge. The perceived value is well worth having in your home and to share with your family to keep food cold and from spoilage of food. The value will allow you to be able to resell or trade in for new.

It looks great, regulates template properly, easy to clean. There is not a lot of frost build up so the freezer holds food great. I have had mine for 6 years and would recommend it to anyone. Easy to move if needed.

We bought the Kenmore trio 2 years ago and the ice maker never worked great. Recently we had it repaired and it cost us over $400.00 to fix. There was a gasket that was installed improperly at the factory in Mexico that allowed water to leak all over. A whole new gasket system had to be installed that wasnt installed on the original product. Also the ice tray was cracked and it was letting water run into the tray and freeze on the bottom causing a mess all the time. You cant just buy a new ice tray, you have to buy a whole new unit for $130.00. The warranty would have cost more than that so that is a moot point. All I can say is that this just shows me that they dont care about quality anymore. Just making as much money of all the consumers as they possibly can. Thats the truth!

The machine is awesome. Its a 2 compartment with an ice maker. The crisper keep things like lettuce and other vegetables cold but doesnt ruin them too fast. The ice in the ice maker can get stuck together if you dont keep it emptied but that is the only real complaint. Its the right size, it fits where my old one was perfectly. The freezer keeps a lot of stuff in it and the space in the refrigerator is second to none. Overall probably more space than I need or am used to, but I love it. It is also tall enough to where I can keep some things out of reach of small children. Appearance is great, its simple design and the interior is really spacious. I love the design of the drawers and the crispers. The door is also nice, I can store a lot of stuff in it. Great value. You wont find another fridge on the market that does what this one does at the price it is offered. Would definitely recommend.

It was over 15 years ago when I had a Kenmore refrigerator but it met my expectations. It was good, reliable and easy. It was also quality at a reasonable price and the store was a good location; Kenmore is sold by Sears at that time.

First off, I will never buy another Kenmore appliance, and would tell you that no matter how many 5 stars it is rated, it is still a pile of garbage. We bought this highly rated french door refrigerator back in 2014 and for 6 years it has worked perfectly. If refrigerators only lasted for one year Id say we got our moneys worth but according to repair experts a refrigerator should last 14-20 years. Our Kenmore was made by LG and if you do your research you will find that LG is not a very reliable brand, I dont care what the experts say. The compressor is weak and only lasts for a couple of years if you are lucky. Ours went out! Now LG covers their compressor for 10 years but Kenmore only covers it for 1. What a rip off!!! It will cost $1166.28 to repair a refrigerator that I paid $1150 for in 2014. Sears and the Kenmore brand can go square to HEdoublehockeysticks!!! Im done.

I purchased this over a Bosch because of the price and the side by side feature comparison. The features were not that far off but the price swayed my decision. I have had nothing but quality issues, so in the long run lost my saving on the purchase price. This is the last Kenmore product that Ill ever purchase. I have had to repair it on a regular basis which has been a major disappointment. Its performance is average. It has the buttonless feature but every time someone walks by the unit turns on or off, which forces you to use the control panel lock feature at all times. Using the control lock leads to the unit getting hung up requiring us to have to cycle power to get the unit usable. We would replace the control board, but there are no longer spare control panels. It is clear that all the quality problems are due to low-cost parts and cutting corners on the design. While on paper the product looked close and the price lead to my purchase, it is my last Kenmore purchase.

Its really exactly what you would/should expect. Its definitely a quality product. I do really love the whole ice machine bit. Buy some Tupperware though. I like to use the crock pot for roasts and what not and it definitely doesnt fit. Size is fine. Breaking up the roast into smaller portions isnt a bad deal though. Makes it ready to take in my lunch that way, anyway. Black, modern, sleek. I mean, its a refrigerator. Not exactly the centrepiece of a room really. It doesnt stand out though, so thats nice. I dont think Ive ever really looked at one made after the 80s or so that I thought was ugly, really. I mean, considering I barely paid for it, Im pretty stoked on the value. I would have happily paid asking price, though.

The refrigerator is reliable, expendable, and trendy. Right now the features I love because it’s a big improvement since my last refrigerator, and I can’t complain about the space. I have more space for food and dont have to depend on a whole freezer to store extra food. Also, with the extra space, it keeps my food fresh and cool instead of spoiling quicker than other refrigerators because of the lack of space. It’s also slim fit and tight storage which also keeps your food and beverages fresh over time. I love that the water is purified and I don’t have to buy a whole water filter system because with a system you have to replace every three months which can cost more money over time. When you can just buy a refrigerator with natural water filtration system and contain less contaminants than any tap water or water bottle brand you can find in the market or any stores out right now. The water is ph7 and up which means it’s no contaminants in the water and I don’t have to buy any filter and also my ice is already clean and purified because of the brand-new updated features. I was close to choosing Whirlpool but I chose Kenmore because of the reputation and how their customers was very pleased and happy to share their experiences with the brand free of choice. And in my opinion, Kenmore is similar to an smart refrigerators because of the up-to-date technology and have open USBs. It’s child and spill-proof because it stops upcoming spills from happening and protects other shelves from getting messy if it was to happened because previous refrigerators don’t have that security. If an spill happened everything gets wet, so I like the safety and precaution needs of the consumer.

Lots of space, keeps everything cold. I havent had any problems with refrigerator. The price was great. Id recommend this refrigerator to any of my friends or family. I buy a lot of meat every month and never have a problem fitting everything in. The refrigerator has plenty of room for all my drinks and condiments. I do understand prefer side by side if I had a choice but they are a bit more pricey. But I am happy with the appearance for the most part. I think the price was competitive to other brands. I think the price I got on this fridge was very fair and customer service was great. They were very informative.

Do not buy any refrigerator from Kenmore. They do not stand behind their products. I have a two year old refrigerator (Kenmore elite refrigerator) that has rust spots all over the outside doors that should be a defect in the material but they refuse to do anything about it.

Only the noise it makes inside of it and the width inside of freezer is too small and the inside of refrigerator is narrow. Otherwise its okay. It is very narrow to me and it is not that deep and somewhat short. Has poor storage space and its not good for large items. Youd have to remove shelves for it to be workable. Its a beautiful black and the handles are nice. The outside of it is very perfect and it looks like it is made nicely. I like how it has wheels for easy moving. It definitely fit my pocketbook plus. Due to others I got a few discounts on it which made me very happy. I would buy it again if I need one and or had the money to do so.

It is a great appliance! I have had a great experience with it so far. I think that everyone should get a Kenmore appliance. It is the perfect size for me! I have a big family so it is important to me that I have a big fridge that is going to fit everyone that we all need. I love having my Kenmore fridge. I love the stainless steel appearance of my Kenmore fridge! It looks for pretty and stylish in my kitchen. I think it is a great look for any kitchen. My Kenmore fridge was a great value! Everything worked as advertised. The freezer froze everything and the fridge part kept a constant temp. Overall a good appliance at a reasonable price. I have no suggestions to improve it. 18 cubic feet is great for a one or two person household. A large family might find it too small. A larger one might encourage people to buy too many groceries just to fill it up. It looked fine for a basic refrigerator. Neither good or bad but just average. The outer surfaces were easy to keep clean. I have no complaints. A very good value especially since Kenmore appliances are known to last forever. I would buy another one the next time I need one. One of the better values in the market.

I really enjoyed my Kenmore refrigerator. It is recognized as a top appliance brand for years. I grew up with a Kenmore refrigerator in my childhood home. Now as an adult I bought this brand for my own home because of the good experiences in my past. At this point I have had my refrigerator for about 4 years and I havent had a problem with it even once. It definitely serves its purpose of keeping my food and drinks cool and the temperature is always perfect.

It came with the first home we purchased and at that time, was considered a very good buy. At that time, my income was considerably less than now, and I went from a 2,600 sq foot home to a 9,000 sq foot home. It was a very good, starter unit, that was very reliable and quiet. Inside temperatures were easy to maintain. We were always jamming more and more in it to accommodate my family. However, it was not large enough for my growing family and for entertaining and could not make ice very fast and the freezer section was too small. It is a great unit for a couple or a family with 1 child.

Working very well. No problems at all. Keep things cool and frozen. Had for a very long time. Will buy another Kenmore when this refrigerator stops working. My size is small due to the size of my kitchen but would love to have a larger model to hold more food and have a bigger freezer for meats and vegetables. Appearance is a black fridge but would love a stainless steel fridge. Stainless steel looks so sleek and modern. Love the french doors. Value of fridge was a very good sale. Value holds up great on Kenmore products. Would recommend all their products. Never have any problems. Always stays cold in fridge and keeps food in freezer frozen.

The performance is beyond expectations. It has outlasted any other refrigerator I have ever had. It keeps everything very cold and I dont have any problems with it freezing up. My refrigerator is the perfect size. It meets my familys needs well and it has enough room for everything we need to fit in it. In the past I have had issues with having enough room. I love the appearance of my refrigerator. Its not too dull and its not too flashy. Its right in between and it doesnt get scratched up. The refrigerator had a very good value. I paid a good price for it. It wasnt too expensive and wasnt too cheap. I would recommend others to buy it.

Freezer is small and doesnt stay very cold when it is full. But it is reliable. This is our secondary fridge and we use it mainly for drinks. Not a ton of room on the shelves. I cook in large batches so I always have tons of leftovers. The freezer seems like it is always overloaded. There is not really room in the fridge for really large containers or a multiple layer cake. This fridge is in our basement so it didnt need to be fancy or stainless but it looks good, has clean lines, etc. This was a lower end model, purchased to be a backup unit in the basement. I only need it to do one thing which is stay cold. And it does stay cold reliably, so Im happy.

Our Kenmore bottom freezer fridge cost $1700 and the dreaded LG compressor quit cooling in less than 3 years. Purchased Oct. 2017 and quit cooling July 2020. Opened the fridge and water from ice went all over the floor. Fridge and freezer were both way above correct temps. Had to throw out every thing. I noticed the compressor was VERY hot so I unplugged it until a repairman could look at it. Turned it on before he came and 3 hours later he said he could have fried an egg on it. And that it needed a new compressor and was the LG brand made for Kenmore and known to have this compressor problem. Very disappointing as my previous Kenmore fridge lasted 25+ years.

The fridge is 5 years old and all the plastic parts of broken by this point, they are very cheaply made. And then they want $70 for a new crisper drawer? Really? But you are stuck. Someone should look into a class action suit.

We have had it for about a year now and normally our other freezers would start having issues, but this one has not and keeps everything super cold. It has a lot of space and it is easy to store things. With all the drawers it makes organizing so easy. And I like that its wire, it makes it easy to clean. It is very clean in appearance. I like the white color, it keeps it classic. The inside is also white as is the wire shelves and the shelves on the door. It was a great price. Normally we have our freezers break after about three years and half to buy a new one so it was great that this one wasnt very expensive.

Very easy to keep things organized with a lot of shelf space and drawers. Vegetables and fruits stay crisp. Plenty of room in the freezer. Temperatures in the fridge and freezer remained constant. My refrigerator is on the smaller side because it has to fit in a small space. I am very happy with the refrigerators interior. There is more than enough room for all of my items. You can configure the shelves in a way to provide the most benefit. I chose the black refrigerator because I dont care for stainless steel. It does show finger prints and smudges more than white but the color is very pretty and it is quite easy to keep clean. This is a high efficiency appliance and was well worth every dollar I paid for it. I have had this appliance for two years and have not had any problems with it.

It does what its supposed to do and has for over 20 years. Theres really nothing else to say. It does what a refrigerator is supposed to do at a very reasonable original cost. What they cost today I have no idea. Have not checked prices any time recently. Have not had the need to.

My Kenmore refrigerator works very well. Keeps my food fresh. Fits a lot of food, 2 crisper drawers for vegetables which does not dry out your veggies. Has a great a lot of room especially on the top shelf. Adjustable shelving, easy to use temperature controls. This refrigerator is very spacious, especially the top shelf. Enough for milk and all your other tall bottles. Refrigerator is just the right size has so much room and is very very clean, white and fresh looking. Easy to keep clean. I have owned this refrigerator for at least 5 years and no color discolor from wear and tear. Just as white as brand new. This refrigerator is great for what you get. If you are looking for a great refrigerator without all the bells and whistles this fridge is for you. My partner and I love this fridge. So impressed with what we got. Paid a great price. We feel we have a fridge fit for a king.

We have a large family so splurged and spent worth of $3,000 for a new Kenmore Elite Refrigerator (model 795.72092.310). It was the largest fridge offered by Kenmore at the time. The interior is made entirely of plastic and has been cracking and breaking since almost new. I just spent over $100 for new door shelves - after patching and repairing the old ones for a year. The bottom shelf is cracked in half and the crisper drawers will no longer close without a fight. The sliding shelf in the freezer pops off the track all of the time - just enough to hold the door open but not enough to trip the DOOR OPEN alarm. We regularly get up in the AM to a melted freezer of food that has set just slightly open all night. I am looking for the original receipt but the fridge was purchased on my Sears credit card so purchase date should not be in dispute.

Bought a fridge from Sears in October online. Said in stock on site. They took the money right away then sent email it was back ordered a month. Finally it arrives and theres a small dent in the side (I didnt want the hassles of sending it back). Then we started noticing the milk spoiling quickly. The ice cream in freezer hard as a rock. I put a thermometer in the fridge and it’s +15 c (good thing no food poisoning) but had to throw out all our food the week before Christmas. Talking with Kenmore’s customer service in Bangladesh or who knows where, is exasperation. Still waiting after 5 days for repairman. Kenmore did say theyd reimburse perished food. Overall pretty shabby.

We are happy with our purchase. We like to buy the Kenmore brand as it has always worked really well. We tried a different brand a couple of summers ago and it just would not keep the temperature cold in the freezer or the refrigerator so we took it back. We like that with Kenmore, the drinking water dispenser is inside the refrigerator so instead of being on the door on the outside I don’t have water stains on the front of my fridge. The thing that I dislike is that the glass shelves do not fit tightly in the frames. On occasion when I have been cleaning out the fridge I worry that I am going to drop the glass on the floor.

We bought the Kenmore model #:795.51832.412 in June of 2017. By July of 2018 the ledge under the ice dispenser had started to rust. We contacted Sears and was told that they wouldnt help us since we did not buy the extended warranty. By September of 2019 it started inadvertently spitting out ice cubes on to the floor. By December of 2019 we woke up several mornings to find that the kitchen floor was flooded and that the entire freezer door was frozen on the inside. We originally decided to buy with Sears because we felt it was a reputable company and that we could trust that we would get a good product that they would stand behind. Boy were we wrong.

As a fridge keeping food cold/frozen its fine, BUT heres the drawbacks. 1. The egg keeper is TOO SHORT to put a full carton eggs in it! What idiot designs an egg keeper that doesnt keep a standard carton of eggs. So I cut off the end of the carton. 2. The door comes too close to the floor and whacks your foot if wearing sandals or barefoot. 3. The door magnet was designed for a gorilla. You need to REALLY yank on it.

I purchased a Sears Kenmore Top freezer refrigerator on 12/6/11 and it has been trouble repeatedly. It seems to me, a company should stand behind their product & want to maintain a great customer satisfaction. I think they have an obligation to sell products that work, and to replace those that dont work. Repeatedly, it doesnt keep food cold. If I call customer service for repair or to extend the warranty, it involves several hours, several calls, not understanding their English because they are in Indonesia, and then to try to get someone to come... First a guy came, but by the next day, his fix clearly didnt work. I had to go through that all over again. Now I throw in the sponge & call a local repairman who is very reputable, and pay his price. I would never, ever buy a Sears Kenmore Refrigerator/freezer again as long as I live!!! They are unreliable & problematic, and service on them is also aggravating. If someone doesnt help me soon, I will lose a lot of my food. I cant keep going through this. My fridge gets gentle, average use. This should not be happening, AGAIN. I am very angry with Sears for being impossible to work with & for not standing behind their product. I know now that they really dont care. My fridge is a 20.6 cubic foot unit, model # 106.62159110.

I have a bottom freezer with an ice maker. I absolutely love it. The ice maker doesnt make huge ice and with the fact I love chewing ice, it makes it perfect. Plus I was able to connect it to my water purifier so I never get hard water in my ice even though we have well water. Another thing I love is the double door refrigerator. It makes it so easy to organize and clean. The only real problem I have found is defrosting the freezer. When you do, it is such a mess.

I chose the Kenmore because of the space and price. The price wasnt the cheapest but it also wasnt the most expensive. The space was nice and I liked that it came with a shelf in freezer as well! I also liked the ice machine feature, the temperature controls for both freezer and refrigerator, allowing humidity to keep low! Its very efficient. But I would change the way the shelves can be placed. I like to be able to have higher shelving on lower shelving for different food items and containers. I would also like to have seen the refrigerator last longer than it did.

Kenmore has definitely met my expectations. It was the existing refrigerator in the house when I purchased it. The product is sound, reliable, and built very well. It is more than 15 years old and still works great. But I would improve the interior spacing and use stronger plastic for the shelves. My refrigerator is white and I would offer other custom colors besides the standard Black, white, and stainless steel. But the Overall Performance and reliability is excellent and the size is perfect for the space.

My Kenmore refrigerator works great. It keeps all the food at the perfect temperature and the freezer always keeps the ice cream hard just like I love it. It is so easy to clean and looks great in my kitchen. I havent had any problems with it like the other refrigerators I have had in the past. I highly recommend Kenmore brand to everyone.

Great storage space. I love how there are so many different compartments for eggs and dairy and stuff. The freezer has lots of room and is easily accessible. The size is great. We didnt want a huge fridge so this fits nicely in our kitchen but still has the space we need. Again, the different compartments are very convenient. The appearance is very sleek. It fits in well with our kitchen and doesnt stick out or is an eyesore. We like to keep our fridge clean of magnets and stuff so it really blends in with our other appliances. The best value on the market. A lot of other fridges were much more expensive without a lot of the benefits of this fridge. For its cost, it outperforms other fridges that weve had. We love it and would purchase again. But hopefully no need.

I chose Kenmore because my mom has one. I liked the brand and it had features I was looking for. The price was good for the type of appliance it is. It is practical, easy, and slim. It has gallon door bins, adjustable shelving and door bins, 25 cu. ft. of capacity, frost-free freezer, built-in water filter, ice maker, can fit tall bottles and wide ones, tight sealing doors, humidity-controlled and clear crisper drawers, and adjustable spill-proof glass shelving. However, the stainless-steel is hard to keep clean, fingerprints are always on the fridge or smudges. And sometimes the drawers come out fast or fall out of the door, and small items slide around the door if there are gaps.

We have basic Kenmore refrigerators with no water connections and a self-defrosting top freezer. It performs very well, spacious and for all the years we had it, there has been no service calls.

It kept my food the correct temperature and was easy to fit lots of things in. Never had a problem. The freezer had a light too which was nice. I hate not being able to see in the freezer late at night when Im hungry.

Keep food chilled in the fridge and frozen in the freezer. No unexpected problems. Ice and water maker worked. Large area of space for fruits and vegetables. Space for milk and large jugs of ice tea. Space for containers in the door like Mayo, jelly, yogurt, etc... It was a little bigger than the average sized refrigerator, but still fit nicely in my kitchen. Was easy to find a suitable place to move it if I decide to change the kitchen around. Easy to clean up and revealing its shine through each cleaning. Great finish holding up throughout Myrtle cleanings and messes. Would recommend to friends. Large freezer space with ice maker. Plenty of space by separating shelves. 2 doors compartments separate the fridge from the freezer by a split door. Quality built - well worth what you pay for the product.

Our two year old Kenmore refrigerator/freezer is inexplicably not working. We came home from work and threw out hundreds of dollars of wasted food. Looking to correct the issue, we set up an appointment and the technician was set to come between 1pm-5pm. We called customer service several times to get an accurate time as it was nearing 5. No show. The customer service was awful. They were very unhelpful and “had no way to find out when the technician would be there and he would be there in his very reasonable time frame”. He did not come in his anything other than reasonable time frame. We were told we will need to reschedule for the following day because missing out on income and waiting for four hours is easy to do...again. So very disappointed in Sears and their lack of customer courtesy, the fact that there is no accountability in standing behind their products, and their complete disregard for dealing with issues. It was difficult at best to contact and talk to anyone and when we did, we were met with even more inconvenience and extremely poor customer service. I would also have to say I’m disappointed in Kenmore as well. I expected something just shy of $3,000 to work longer than two years. Although I hope it’s a simple fix, it’s really hard to tell since we can’t get someone from Sears here to fix it. Yet they want to make sure we pay for their service in full...I will never shop Sears or Kenmore again. Not surprised that Sears can’t keep their stores open. Very sad considering in the past it was such a reputable place to shop.

Has good style, does his work in the best accepted way, ever present problems when cool and keep food fresh, its energy consumption is not high, so the bill will not get very costly. You could say that is rather heavy, its design is spectacular, but mobilize around the house is usually relatively simple, but it takes two people. As mentioned above, is finished at the edges and around the front of the fridge with good design, good handling, really is spectacular, personally chose between several models of the same brand and there is no doubt that chose the best choice. The relationship between cost and benefit can say it was successful, not much money for purchasing the product payment, and we believe the behavior of the device has fallen short of expectations.

Works well, never had a problem. Love the look, stainless is nice, very quiet. There is lots of room and the shelves are very sturdy. Easy to move the shelves and very easy to clean.

It has lots of room to store your food items inside. The freezer is also large. it also is very energy saving. The built in ice maker is a joy. The size is big enough for your needs. Plenty of shelves to put your food items on. The freezer keeps your frozen food items frozen till youre ready to use them. It is a good looking refrigerator, and the stainless steel color is a delight. Not too large for the kitchen. Not an ugly looking box to have. The value is very affordable, and most other types dont compare to the cost of this one. Others cost more and they are not as good to use.

The performance of this refrigerator is amazing. It is quiet, strong, and long lasting. I know this appliance is going to last me a very long time, and that I can rely on it to have a longer life time than my last one. It is perfect sizing on the interior, perfect for all the everyday groceries that we have stored. Its like the appliance knows what we need and where we need it. I think this refrigerator is the most professional and modern appliance I have ever seen. I am proud to own it, proud to use it, and I am always appreciating the stylish appearance it has. This refrigerator has an amazing value, its like buying the best car on the lot. A resale value, a value to your home, family, and lifestyle.

When we moved 3 years ago, the previous tenants had taken all the appliances. So, since we had past experience with Kenmore, we went to Sears to replace them. The refrigerator has been good and dependable. The only bad comment I might have is that the ice maker is a bit noisy.

We purchased a Kenmore Elite refrigerator and it stopped cooling and we called Sears/Kenmore and they sent multiple people on 4 different occasions to check it out and all said that it was the compressor and we still have warranty on it. To add insult to injury one of their affiliates by name Intelfix paid $100 deductible to them and still they have not fixed my appliance nor replace and whenever we call they will give us a run around. I cant believe we have all of our appliances from the scam of a company called Sears/Kenmore.

I really liked this fridge until its compressor died this week after just a few years. The tech who came said that the Kenmore Elite sold by Sears is made by LG and has the same compressor thats going bad. Working with Sears has been a nightmare. Also, the reality is that even though the compressor is free, the labor is not. It will cost us several hundred dollars to put in another one of these bum compressors. Can you imagine???

It was okay. However I have had better. The customer service was subpar. I called once and I was on the line for two hours. The refrigerator itself only broke down once. But it was very difficult to get itself since the customer service was not the best.

The Kenmore refrigerator worked well, it needed no major repairs, had adjustable temp. control for the refrigerator compartment, easy to clean. I had it for a long time. The price fit my budget and I knew the brand. It did meet my expectations for size, ease of use, reliability, except for the freezer compartment. Freezer could have been colder and if I had to buy another refrigerator, Id pay more to get one that had a specific control for the temperature of the freezer compartment. Also, I didnt like the egg tray because it was not removable which made that the one part harder to clean.

Plenty of room for my groceries... Plenty of shelving and temperature controlled drawers. Love it. Easy to keep clean. Self defrosting is a joy to have. In accordance to size for my household its perfect. I am a shopper so I always could use more room... but I make do with what I have. No regrets with my fridge. My fridge is simple the way I like it. Do not need anything too extravagant. It is the right size and looks great in my eyes... fits perfectly in my kitchen. The price of my appliance was cost efficient for me and my needs. It has all features needed for what I buy and put in it. All in all a good deal.

Top freezer door malfunction! Almost every time you close the refrigerator door, the freezer door pops open! UGH!! I have come home to thawed and ruined freezer items too many times after someone else did not know this problem closed the fridge door! The fridge is not level so we know that is not the problem! UGH!!!

Very flexible and very appropriate, useful refrigerator which is able to store all my stuff very well and controls the temperature perfectly and preserves the food, vegetable and fruits in a perfect condition.

Our Kenmore fridge is a very basic, low-price appliance. It is a white refrigerated box for keeping food in, the kind youd find in a motel kitchenette or an inexpensive apartment. Its not appropriate for a family and you cant fit a great deal into it. Still, its acceptable for a single person or a couple who want something utilitarian without any bells and whistles. Also, it would be good for a vacation home.

It still works great. Wonderful fridge. Just want to update. I have had a lot of use for mine and Im putting it in my basement in the rec room. Its a great size fridge. Has plenty of room in it. Holds a lot. And it will be great size for our rec room for all the snacks and drinks. Its still in great shape and looks like new. Its been very well taken care of. Had people wanting to buy it from me after I get a new one. But Im not selling it. Its worth every penny spent on it. Great freezer and fridge. Looks great. Stays very cold and I love Kenmore products. Ill continue to buy Kenmore.

Ever since got this fridge it has been too small, metal shelves bend with weight too easily, runs noisily, and in general cheaply built. Can not wait for this crib to die so can get another brand. This used to be a good brand but guess not anymore.

Its easy to maintain and use. Love how it keeps cool enough for my stuff. Its big enough on the inside to hold everything and has a lot of simple features. Its about 300 sq ft wide. Big enough for my family and the main things we need in it. I like the size of it including the freezer part. My fridge is white all over and on the inside it has 3 main shelves and two drawers in the bottom. And shelves on the door with enough space to hold things. I think what I paid for my fridge was a good value and its living up to what I paid for it in the first place. I wouldnt recommend another kind to anyone.

The Kenmore refrigerator that I purchased two years ago made me happy to own because of the technology provided that significantly made my previous refrigerator look outdated. It seems as if the new Kenmore was a top of the line model that keep food at a reasonable temperature and provided more space for food.

Fridge color very nice. Black slate. Beautiful. Very quiet. Bought a little on the small side. Just two of us. Fits everything great. Very easy to remove the shelves to clean. Front of door opens for storage or milk, coffee, creamer, ketchup, mustard. Things you use on a daily basis. Love it and front cleans and gets very shiny with Windex. Not very expensive. Great products. Purchased through Sears before they closed their doors. Heard a rumor about the closing before we purchased it so did not purchase a warranty.

I had one that got hit by lightning and loved it. It ran well and kept everything very cold. I also have a Kenmore stand up freezer that I have had for years and love it. I had to get something at a scratch and dent after lightning strike as needed right away and had limited funds. Will go back to Kenmore just as soon as I upgrade from this one.

I love Kenmore. I have had several appliances from Kenmore and have really enjoyed owning them. I love my fridge, well-made, dependable. Love the space, the look, the ice maker. Have never had any issues out of it.

I purchased my Kenmore Pro refrigerator manufactured by LG in July 2018. It failed completely in May 2020. When the warranty repair company finally (after a 2 week wait) came and replaced the compressor, the new compressor did not work either. And I have to wait another 2 weeks for a repair of the repair. I am disgusted with both LG and the warranty services company that gives zero priority to customers whose repairs have failed.It is a hollow action when representatives of LG provide these “copy and paste” pro forma responses here. What LG needs to do is provide the real resources in a timely manner needed to fix these continuing failures, including to providers of service programs that consumers purchased when they bought refrigerators with these compressors, and to sellers of refrigerators that bear nameplates other than LG but were nevertheless built by LG using these faulty compressors. If others reading this are as annoyed and discouraged as I am, they may want to search on the internet using terms such as “class action lawsuit” and LG compressors and/or refrigerators.

We were finally able to purchase all new and matching appliances. We did our homework and it seemed the Sears Kenmore products were the best rated, what a mistake. As I write this we have a tech out for the second time working on the refrigerator. It doesnt make ice, now the fan started malfunctioning, now its not cool inside but there is ice collecting. At this point if I could afford it I would try and sue Sears. My dream kitchen is turning into a nightmare! Not only have we had to endure the cost of repairs we dont have a functioning refrigerator that is barely 2 years old!

I absolutely HATE our fridge. It is impossible to clean because Kenmore uses cheap coated metal and calls it stainless steel. It is NOT! And if you get a scratch in it, youre screwed, unlike genuine stainless where you can buff it out with a kit. I know this to be true because the other stainless steel appliances we have in our kitchen are a breeze to clean. Unless you have nothing better to do with half your day, you do not want to waste it trying to clean this behemoth!

I like that Kenmore is a trusted brand with a strong tradition. I also chose because of previous experience with the brand. This is the brand we had in our house growing up. Its a sturdy fridge with a good amount of space and drawers to hold a variety of food. I am pretty happy with it as a whole.

It came with the house. Ive had several Kenmores before this one and they always have the same problem. The ice maker freezes up at least once a week and needs to be taken apart, fixed and put back. If we can put people into space I now understand why Kenmore cant make an ice maker that works properly. I bought this Kenmore Elite refrigerator in 11/15 and its first service call was 5/17, barely 18 months later. The Freon needed to be replaced due to a faulty valve (which will recur in about 2 years due to a design problem) -- that cost $400. Six weeks later, the food was not being kept cold and now Im told the compressor needs to be replaced! And the warranty covers the parts, but, of course, not the labor. Save yourself time and money -- DO NOT BUY KENMORE ANYTHING ANYMORE! This used to be a trusted name in appliances, but no more. The washer I bought 9 months ago doesnt get clothes clean (another review).

It had the best price compared to all of the other fridges and I liked how it looks and the brand itself. It’s a really cute and sexy fridge to own and it works pretty well for my own needs. I also like how spacious it is. It has lots of room for all of your fruits and vegetables and other various foods. This fridge is good and very cold too. However, I wish it was quieter because sometimes it wakes me up at night and can be a bit annoying. It needs to include some sound baffling as well.

The ice maker was a must-have for my husband. It really helps with keeping the freezer door shut and save energy. The kids drink more water because of it. All in all the fridge is very spacious and the shelves make it easy to find everything. 26 cu. ft was the biggest one they had. It works great for our family. The kids can always find their snacks after school or after play time. The whole family is happy with the size. Its very pretty and we get lots of compliments. People seem to like the size and the overall look of it. The finish is easy to clean and the ice maker is very noticeable. It was a little bit pricey, but so worth it. Overall we are very pleased with the fridge and the freezer. I would buy this one again, but being a Kenmore we wont need to for years to come.

It was one of the best refrigerator and it would freeze good in the freezer and run and kept thing cold. It lasted so long before it went out. It kept the food from ruining. It look good and the size was good.

We always wanted a stainless steel refrigerator that was spacious on the inside. We had a Sears account already and the Kenmore refrigerator has been very reliable since we purchased it. The Kenmore is a nice looking refrigerator with water and ice dispenser and I really like the double doors, and having a freezer on bottom. It also has plenty of room. But I discovered that the interior lights do not go off when the door is closed. I read later that they had an issue with that, but we did not get it resolved.

Bought a bottom freezer French door fridge from Sears in February. Noticed that it seemed to run almost constantly, and the compressor hums and buzzes so loudly that it is audible in almost every room in the house. Since the unit is under warranty I called the Sears service center. They have our information on file. The first technician I spoke with tried to tell me that the noise is coming from the ice maker. When I didnt agree, she said to lower the temperature in both the fridge and freezer and wait 24 hours. I did that, but the noise persists. I called again.The second technician explained that the noise is likely coming from the water filter because my water pressure is too high. I disagreed, and she suggested I unplug the fridge for two minutes to reset the system, then wait 24 hours for the unit to stabilize. I did that, and the noise persists along with the compressor running almost constantly. Im now told that this sort of noise is normal in todays modern refrigerators and there is no need schedule a service call. Im about at the end of my rope. It may be time to send this sucker back to Sears and get my money back. Avoid Sears at all costs. No wonder theyre failing.

We purchased this refrigerator less than three years ago. We had our first service call after 6 mos of ownership with a sensor and the freezer, the resistor defroster replaced. We then had to replace the freezer. My husband ordered the part and it came in used. He returned it for an exchange. The second one came in with a piece missing, which he was able to take off the broken one. Then the back panel froze up twice with a layer of ice under the bottom drawer. When this freezes, water flows out onto the floor. We unplugged it, defrosted it and raised the temperature. Just two weeks ago, it stopped getting cold. The Sears service person was out here today. They would have to order a new compressor and another part because there is a Freon leak. The service charge would be $393.After that could be fixed (2 weeks later) we would be looking at a new computer board to address the back panel freezing which would be $600. I have spoken with LG, and 4 departments through Sears. LG could not help because the name is Kenmore, although there is no dispute that it made by LG in Korea. The next four departments at Sears could not help because I have not purchased an extended warranty. The final department was the corporate level and the best they could do is offer Shop Your Way points. I know personally of two other people with the same product and the same issues. The service person stated that 2/3 of his calls were on this product. Sears is aware that there are problems with this LG refrigerator and are doing nothing about it. This panel should be part of a recall.

I have never had any problems with my Kenmore refrigerator. I had always had great performance. Have had for many years and it has been very reliable. Just the right size for my household. It fits perfectly with my kitchen space and has always been able to fit everything I need inside. My fridge is an older model so I dont really love the appearance. I have probably had it for a good 10 years or so. It is white but I would like to upgrade to a newer stainless steel version that includes a water dispenser. I am happy with the value. It was already in the house when I moved in and was bought by the previous owners. It has always worked great though.

Its a pretty decent appliance. I think Ive only used Kenmore refrigerators. They work. The compartments are a decent size. The gap on the side doors are a little wide and condiments sometimes slip out. Its a pretty good size. I wouldnt buy another pullout freezer though. A side by side is probably my next purchase. It doesnt take that much room considering its a refrigerator. Its a simple clean look, which is what one would want. The inside is just as simple and clean. I like the handles specifically, how they run along the whole door but it doesnt look out of place. Very sleek design.

The Kenmore refrigerator for the cost and install to the next day delivery was well worth the money and had all the extra space needed to get the job done. I am a loyal customer of the Kenmore Brands and I will always have it as a first choice but also a Maytag refrigerator for the second choice. Kenmore has the best refrigerators, they last for decades, the old one I had was 21 years old before I gave it up. Keeps food fresh, consistent temp throughout the interior, love all the wonderful styles and colors you can get. I think one reason why Kenmore refrigerators are better is the company has been around for many decades.

I had purchased a Kenmore fridge in June 2012, took delivery in December 2012 and began using it then. After using it for 1 month, I emptied it, turned it off for 4 months and went on vacation. Returned back and turned the fridge on with no issues. I was advised to leave the fridge running while we were on another trip in January 2014 but found that our fridges compressor had failed during our 2 month absence. I am guessing it failed early after I left, because when I returned on March 20, 2014, I found some of the items in the fridge had spoiled. In all, this fridge was only in operation for less than 11 months theoretically, and possibly only 9 months. The fridge now runs constantly and wont keep cold. The designated Kenmore neighborhood repair guy said its the compressor thats shot, the motor runs, the compressor doesnt get cold. Sears wont stand behind it because it exceeded its one year warranty, according to the calendar. Since Sears and Kenmore are not willing to stand behind their product. It is my intent to inform others of this issue with my fridge.

Purchased a new Kenmore Refrigerator less than a year ago and it has already stopped working. Kenmore used to have good appliance products, but not anymore. This model is actually made by LG, and had a history of compressor issues. It looks great and has nice features, but it will not last. After working fine for 10 months, I noticed the freezer defrosting and had to throw away everything in it. Also noticed the fridge getting warm. Luckily I purchased an extended warranty, so I thought. I called Sears and they said they could not send out a technician for a week. After calling several times, I was able to get the appointment moved up a few days. The technician said the compressor had failed and it would take a couple of weeks to get the parts. He said it was common problem. You would think they would have the parts on hand if they know it happens often. I have requested a replacement, too avail. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT BUY a Kenmore. Get Whirlpool instead.

I loved the style and color, it was a perfect fit in my kitchen. It also was very functional as I had enough room inside to store all of my food and beverages. I also loved it kept my fruit and vegetables fresh and was perfect temperature for my freezer foods. It froze my foods but did not over freeze them in which no freezer burn. Very easy to keep clean as I have three kids and a husband. The different compartments made it helpful to keep different foods separated and plenty of room for taller items, milk, soda etc.

I have been a Kenmore brand customer for decades. Purchased a Kenmore Elite refrigerator 5 years ago and it died last week. Called Sears and was told the earliest appointment they had available was two weeks in the future. They provided the name and number for another repair company who might be available sooner. When I called that company, they wanted to charge me nearly $300 for a service call. I promptly hung up the phone on that rip off artist. I called Sears back to ask how much they charge for a service call and was told $99. I could not believe that Sears would provide a referral to such a company. I finally found a local company who for $89 plus an extra emergency fee of $45 came out the next day to diagnose the problem. Turns out the compressor died. While the fridge no longer has a store warranty, the compressor has a 10 year manufacturer’s warranty. So I call Sears to order a new compressor. I am told that they cannot work off of a diagnosis provided by another company so I am back to a two week wait for one of their technicians at a cost of $99 for the service call, to come out and tell me what another company already has. Then after that the part has to be ordered and the repair scheduled. Plus I have to pay for labor charges to have the new compressor installed, which I am sure will come to hundreds of dollars. While I am tempted to purchase a new fridge I decided against it. If the new compressor lasts 1-2 years it allows me to defer the price tag of a new refrigerator for at least 12 months. This piece of crap ran nearly $3k with delivery and install. We were told by the repair guy to stay away from Kenmore, LG, Samsung and Frigidaire because they are all a bunch of crap with a lot of issues. Apparently these brands just stick their names on products manufactured by other companies. Needless to say I will never purchase another Kenmore appliance or the other brands noted by the repair technician.

Additionally, it has adjustable shelving, water dispenser, and ice cube maker. The black style finish makes a nice appearance. However, it should replace plastic drawers with glass, more usable space in the freezer, and better finish on refrigerator since its hard to clean in certain areas.

The appearance was very pleasing to the eye and I got a lot of compliments from family and friends and relatives about it. The inside looked very nice and the drawers also were nice to the eye. I love Kenmore products. They are very high quality and a brand you can count on. My refrigerator works great, has the right temperatures and plenty of room. I would definitely buy another in the future.

I couldnt be more pleased with my refrigerator. The ice machine keeps up very well and it has never gave me a minutes trouble. It produces very clean water with its filter system! It is very roomy for my family of five! It holds a lot of meat in the freezer and still has plenty of room for ice cream and popsicles. The refrigerator part holds milk tea and the crisper is very roomy and we still have room for canned drinks and leftovers. I love the looks of it and how it makes our kitchen shine! So many people has came to our house and complimented on how good it looks. When we brought it in the first day you could tell a difference right away. It was so worth the money I paid for it. Also the water filters are easy to change and the price is reasonable on them too.

My beautiful Kenmore Elite Bottom drawer refrigerator died suddenly a week and a half ago. It was 5 1/2 years old and I came home from shopping to find the freezer had turned into a pool of water. Two repairmen and dozens of hours shopping around, reading reviews, talking to repairmen on the phone and salesmen at various stores Ive come to realize that no average priced refrigerator made today is expected to last more than 7-12 years at best and though 5 years is a little short, its not all that uncommon. Kenmore refrigerators are made by various other companies... Whirlpool mostly, though mine was made by Amana. Weve looked at the wonderfully rated LGs and Samsungs only to back off when reading other reviews full of complaints about electronic failures and shoddy workmanship.For me as a consumer, ITS ALL ABOUT RELIABILITY AND SERVICE, not fancy bells and whistles. Having both would be nice, but I dont know if thats an option anymore. Ice makers seem to cause a lot of problems too, from what Ive read. Seems like buying SIMPLE would be best. The less money you pay, the less you stand to lose. Sad statement on the quality of products out there today. Maybe we should all buy cheap since the stuff is basically built to be disposable, and send a message to the manufacturers. Hit them in the pocketbook. We all need refrigerators, but we just cant expect a good product it seems. Or anyone at that end who cares. WE still havent decided what to buy... Our stuff is crammed into our old 15 year old GE extra out in the game room. Our neighbor offered us use of their old 35 year old in their garage. Pathetic, isnt it?

Ive had this refrigerator with ice-maker for over fifteen years and have never had a repair bill on it. I do wish the freezer side was wider, but other than that its been a dream. I would not get a side-by-side again.

5 year old Kenmore freezer on the bottom. Ice maker does not work and repair person from Sears told me it was not able to be fixed as Kenmore no longer makes the parts for my 5 YEAR OLD refrigerator. Thus, I must replace the entire $2000 product.
