The Kenmore refrigerator I had was an upper freezer/lower refrigerator model that actually ran for close to 15 years before I had to replace the unit. It never broke down but it never had the extra amenities like Ice Maker. It was the only refrigerator I owned that never experienced zonal freezing, where items in the back of the fridge will freeze. Overall a steady workhorse unit.

I couldnt ask for better. Everything was chilled perfect and the freezer kept everything frozen without too much frost. Plenty of room for my 6 member household. I know for a family of six it was more than enough room so if your family is 6 or less it would be a wonderful fit both top and bottom. We had two 18 pound turkeys in the freezer and still had more than enough room for more not to mention the inside door space. I think as far as looks you cant be disappointed. Its sleek clean and above all goes with all decor. If your look is modern, old fashion, or just whatever works, I think its a universal type of appliance. If I had to make a choice on what type of refrigerator I could buy, have ,or be gifted I cant say I could think of another one that would in my opinion surpass the quality and capacity of the one I have. Great size, check. Great look, check. Big bang for your buck, check. What more could you need.

When the long-experienced service tech could no longer fix our previous GE, we discussed options. He suggested Kenmore, with as few bells and whistles as necessary, because those need repairs more than the refrigeration system. Extensive research bore out this opinion, and we settled on a Kenmore that has worked flawlessly despite frequent power outages in our area. We lost no frozen food after a 2-day outage. We do not miss the extra luxury features. It has enough room for a family of 4 with different dietary and beverage preferences, and all the holiday food for guests is accessible without a lot of searching on the shelves. The veggie and fruit bins slide easily, and the shelves can be adjusted as needed. Six years running (!), we have not had to call our beloved repairman.

I am very happy with my Kenmore refrigerator. It is spacious, it keeps things as cold as I like them, and the freezer is large enough so that when I shop for a week or two of frozen items, I have plenty of room for them even though I also have freezer jams, and other extras that I keep frozen on hand. I have never had any trouble with this refrigerator and I have had it for several years.

I do not think about the refrigerator or its functionality so therefore, I think that it is a good thing. It does what is expected with no interruptions. It is reliable and handles my cold storage needs providing adequate space and well designed interiors for placement and storage for a variety of items.

We have basic Kenmore refrigerators with no water connections and a self-defrosting top freezer. It performs very well, spacious and for all the years we had it, there has been no service calls.

I like the refrigerators ability to make ice and to change degrees on the freezer. Additionally, I like how the lighting works in the fridge. The separate compartments are a nice touch as well. Stainless steel is a great addition and the added drink dispenser is great too. I enjoy the spaciousness of the freezer and the fridge and like that it is easy to keep clean. But I would prefer if the fridge didnt smell occasionally and stopped leaking. I also wish the fridge had an easier operation and better repairs for leaking. I wish the space was somewhat bigger too and that it will become smart compatible in the future but for now it fits my desires and I enjoy the space it has. The fridge allows me to store anything I need and the freezer has easy access.I picked Kenmore because it was a better priced model than GE or other models. This model was delivered quickly and provided great use over the last few months. This is a great model fridge which allows me to get the most out of my kitchen and helps me with organization and storing food. It has definitely met my expectations and overall it works very well. I love this fridge and freezer. I need to have it and I look forward to using it for years to come.

It works great. The top freezer always keep things frozen. The bottom always stayed at the same temperature. The motor never quit and always ran quiet. I never had any problems with it and never had to take anywhere to get checked out. Im single so it was plenty big enough for all my needs. I never had a problem with it unless I tried to put a 39 pack of beer in it. The top freezer is just right for what I put in it. Mine was white and stood up in the corner. It had three shelves and top freezer with a produce draw. It had side shelves and it was not too big or small for my needs. It was brand new and had a warranty. It never quit so it valuable to me.

Not a happy camper. I have a 7 month old Kenmore Elite french door refrigerator that is a lemon. First the ice maker quit and everything on the dispenser door. Took 3 weeks for a repairman to come out yesterday. He said we would have ice soon. So I excitedly looked for an ice cube this morning to make my girls breakfast smoothies to find the whole refrigerator is not working... Only thing working is the LIGHT. Everything in the freezer is thawing. Everything in refrigerator is not cold... 45 degrees in refrigerator. I called repair number again and they want to send out another computer which was just replaced yesterday, and it will be Sept 14th before anyone can come out to try to fix. Grr... Do not buy this refrigerator. I wish I had bought a cheap $400 refrigerator instead of this $4000 one. They want to offer is a 1 yr. warranty plan in case it happens again. Unacceptable.

Id really recommend this refrigerator because it makes the food and drinks so cool (cold) and so good to drink and the food makes it so it doesnt get soggy and all that. It can fit all my items I got from the grocery store and it can fit all the things I look at and I put it in and it fits well as a gazelle in a farm. OMG, this is the best refrigerator ever! It is the biggest refrigerator ever. I love this refrigerator! The value is $2250 so for that price is good for a refrigerator. :D I love this refrigerator so much!

My Kenmore refrigerator works very well. Keeps my food fresh. Fits a lot of food, 2 crisper drawers for vegetables which does not dry out your veggies. Has a great a lot of room especially on the top shelf. Adjustable shelving, easy to use temperature controls. This refrigerator is very spacious, especially the top shelf. Enough for milk and all your other tall bottles. Refrigerator is just the right size has so much room and is very very clean, white and fresh looking. Easy to keep clean. I have owned this refrigerator for at least 5 years and no color discolor from wear and tear. Just as white as brand new. This refrigerator is great for what you get. If you are looking for a great refrigerator without all the bells and whistles this fridge is for you. My partner and I love this fridge. So impressed with what we got. Paid a great price. We feel we have a fridge fit for a king.

I purchased a Kenmore fridge about a year ago. On February 28th, the ice maker stopped working. I wont go into detail but short story, the tray is filling but not freezing. I called the number inside the fridge on March 2, 2017, 1-800-469-4663 and explained what is going on. The rep tells me she will get me a quote. I mentioned the fridge should be under warranty. I am told the warranty expired on February 13, 2017, 15 days before the ice maker stopped working. I asked if there was some type of grace period since this was so close to the warranty date. She tells me there is not. I then asked to speak with a supervisor and was told there is nothing a supervisor could do either. I understand the unit is outside of warranty by 2 weeks, but this is frustrating. We spent a lot of money on a Kenmore because it was supposed to be better quality. Turns out... its not. Save your money and buy a better brand... At least one that stands behind their product.

The door on the refrigerator wont completely close - you need to push it hard to close and in most cases you think it is closed but all the cold air leaks out because it isnt completely closed.

This device has given me satisfaction and expected performance plus is easy to clean. For that reason recommend it to all my friends. It is noteworthy that its size is ideal and can be placed in any kitchen space without being annoying and recommend it to all the country without fear. I love my Kenmore refrigerator. It keeps things very cold all the time. Never ever fails. It seems to keep food fresher much longer than my old refrigerator. It is very roomy, many shelves for many different sizes of products. No matter how much food is in it it never looks cluttered. You can always get to what you need. It goes very well with my other products in my kitchen. I(t gives the look of my kitchen a upscale look to it. It has a very modern look to it. It is fabulous looking. Very proud of it. It gives my kitchen a look that I like. It looks much more expensive than it actually costs. It is very valuable to me. It goes with what Kenmore stands for - a great look and lots of room.

Its very plain and simple but it works for us. I love the size and I like how it fits with everything else in my house. It fits a nice amount of products but just would like more room and I do wish the freezer was a little bigger for my larger family. Great value for this item, it definitely saved me in many ways especially with the price aspect. I have had this item for a few years but it cleans up nicely and it never looks like its as old as it is. Also, its been great and helpful. I havent had any issues with it and its always worked perfectly!

Do NOT buy this refrigerator! I purchased the Kenmore Elite Bottom Freezer Refrigerator (Model 79574043410) in April 2015 from Sears. In the first month the fan quit working. Had that repaired. It is now 27 months later and the compressor has quit. Dead. This happened on a Thursday and a repair person could not be scheduled to come out until Tuesday. They do NOT work weekends! Fortunately I kept calling until they agreed to come on Monday. As I suspected and reported to them it was indeed the compressor. As stated by the service technician they have been having quite a few compressors on these go out. The compressor would have to be ordered and supposedly would be in by Wednesday but they cannot schedule a repair appointment in advance until they actually have the part. It is now Thursday, a week from my initial request for repair and there is no compressor in sight. Hence no repair in sight as yet either. Luckily I purchased the extended warranty but in hindsight I am now stuck with this worthless appliance until 2020. I had to pay extra for counter depth when purchasing it and to now have a 2 yr old refrigerator with a dead compressor is despicable. By the way the max food loss allowance is $250.00 for a claim. I will never again buy another Kenmore product nor from a company that cannot reasonably get the parts and fix it in a timely manner!

Need ice maker. It runs pretty good. I didnt think it would be that good but it was. It holds a lot of food indeed. Lot of room, very quiet motor, didnt use up a lot of power, really great fridge. The size is very big. Have 4 kids so I need a lot of food to stock. Very good shelf space. It didnt cost much money. It provides me some great reliability. Love it so so much. Its stainless and very sleek. My old fridge was white and stained really fast. Now this one is easy to clean, easy to store, easy to use. Its just a really great refrigerator. I like the value. Its most expensive but its very reliable. I got it very cheap and I really love their fridge raider. Thank you very much Kenmore for making a great product.

It keeps my groceries fresh for weeks and Ive never had a problem with it. There is also a water dispenser which makes it extremely easy to get water and ice cubes whenever I need them. I have never had to call a handyman for repairs. I am a hundred percent satisfied with my refrigerator.

The Kenmore ref was included in my apartment rental. I like the door shelves, pull out shelves, crisper drawers. The freezer is spacious and the refrigerator has wire shelves, easy for cleaning. But it needs a water filtration system and ice maker. It also needs to have shelves in freezer and drawers that pull out more easily. Nevertheless, I would purchase another Kenmore in the future. It has met my expectations.

I like the ice maker, glass shelves, deep doors, sliding shelves, extra drawers for vegetables, and it can store closer to the wall. But I wish they make it easy to clean and have different temperature for veggie door and also meat door. The door doesnt seal good, and I would like a cooler place for milk, water in the door, filter for water, and different choice for colder parts of refrigerator. It also needs a bigger freezer. I also would like a bigger butter container and a bottom freezer with a sliding door. I would like to get another refrigerator that is smaller with a bigger freezer.

The freezer part sometimes gets too cold. My food sometimes freezes in the refrigerator part and that is frustrating at times. The size is pretty ok but can be bigger. Usually need more space to put food at times. Appearance is ok but it could be better.

We bought a Kenmore refrigerator just over one year ago, and now it wont stay cold (this was our 3rd fridge because the first two broke down leaking within the first couple weeks. They were under warranty so they were replaced). Anyhow, this third fridge lasted a whole year.... ridiculous. We spent $1,000 on the appliance. Average lifespan of a fridge is about 7 years. Our warranty was one year, therefore we had no warranty left. When trying to call to talk to someone I could never get through EVER. I tried several times. I then tried the chat service. I made an appt (only time available was a month out). I tried several times through the chat service to complain about the fact that we have only had it a little over one year. No one could help me, they would just say sorry, for the inconvenience. I continued to get the runaround. They would just send me to all different departments via the chat service.I also tried four different phone numbers (that were either given to me on their online chat service or phone numbers I saw on online) however, ALL the different phone numbers linked me back to the same automated service. I was on hold for over one hour and hung up because no one answered. NO ONE helped me. I am shocked. Since we have only had the fridge for a little over a year, I felt that it would be nice to talk to someone about this and hope to get some sort of discount. Never will I ever purchase a Kenmore appliance again. Awful support and customer service. I have never written a negative review before so please take this in consideration. I would hate for anyone to waste as much time as I did.

I do not like to buy no name products. Theyre not trustworthy. I need to have a report for reliable information to decide if the product is great. The name Kenmore is someone I can trust. The refrigerator has nice color tone and clean edges. It has a great many drawers and easy to clean. The size is good for my needs but could always be bigger. Not enough freezer space as always as and the depth and height could be more. Need drawers and more space like a fridge. Bigger freezer is always a necessity.

Very good performance - no issues throughout my usage. Refrigerator (and all other appliances) were left when I sold the house. I would definitely recommend this refrigerator and the Kenmore brand to any/all who asked. I believe it is a good product and a brand that inspires brand loyalty. The refrigerator was purchased with my home (I did not purchase it separately). The refrigerator was clean and well kept - and remained in this condition throughout my ownership. I did not have any mechanical or material issues with the refrigerator throughout my possession - I sold my home and the refrigerator.

Kenmore is a familiar brand and I knew the quality. I bought a refrigerator at sale price and it served us well. I like its durability, the layout of the bins and the French door style. Its quiet and spacious. And it fits well in kitchen and fit my taste at the time of purchase, though trends have changed. Complements the other appliances. However, I would like it if it was easier to pull out to clean back and an easier to clean grille. It would also be nice if it came in colors like the Whirlpool copper - the Sunset bronze.

I compared other styles of fridges before purchasing this one and the price was very good for the wonderful performance I receive from this product. The Fridge works very well and is quiet. Keeps the food cold in the fridge and the freezer keeps the food solid. This size fridge is also great for a family of two. It fits nice in the area that a fridge needs to fit and holds two to three weeks of grocery for my family. The color of the fridge goes well with all my other kitchen appliances too. The French doors are very easy to clean and does not show any fingerprints. Overall, a great quality appliance.

It has a lot of space for me to put a lot of food, especially if you have a family and it could be organized easily. It is stainless steel, which is what I prefer and enough ice to make a lot of cold drinks during the summer. One of the reasons I got this fridge was because of the size. I have a little boy and he is kinda picky eater, so I needed a rather large fridge to put a variety of food. It looks amazing. When my mom in law comes in she would say the fridge must be very expensive because of the look, but it was not that bad. It was not that expensive when I got it during the holiday season and I really think my decision to get it was a very good one and it is gonna be used for a long time.

Side by side refrigerator leaks when the defrost cycle happens on the freezer. The drain doesnt drain correctly and then it refreezes and then the next time it defrosts again the water drains out onto the floor. Until we thaw the drain it happens over and over again, therefore making rust inside of freezer door at bottom.

This is a great refrigerator to use. I love it. I never had one like this before. Love how roomy the refrigerator is big and great. Nice Kenmore. Kenmore makes the best products... What more can I say, Im lost for words. Only good things about the refrigerator.

The refrigerator had plenty of features that I was looking for. It fit in the available space in my kitchen and it had a built-in ice maker. I like the convenience of having the freezer on the bottom. It makes it easier to find things in the fridge part, because its eye level. I have back problems, and having the fridge part on top prevents me from having to bend over as often as I would if the fridge was on the bottom. I also like the automatic ice maker, as well as the color. My kitchen is done in black and red, so the availability of a black fridge goes along great with my decor. I have had it for many years and it still works perfectly. I will most likely buy another Kenmore when it stops working.

I just had the WORST customer service experience of my life. Dont buy a Kenmore product, because if it breaks youll be stuck waiting for repairs. This morning my husband noticed that the ice maker on our Kenmore Elite refrigerator was leaking and the ice was melting. Not only that but the food in the fridge was warm and the stuff in the freezer was thawing and melting. When I called customer service for repairs the lady on the phone could not understand the issue. I had to explain to her several times that it wasnt just the ice maker or just the freezer but that the entire unit wasnt working. She then had me open both doors of the refrigerator (letting out what little cool air was remaining) and push some buttons while holding my phone up to the Kenmore Connect symbol so it could send a message about whats wrong.We had to do this multiple times until she eventually told me that I would be receiving a parts in the mail in the next 2 to 3 DAYS and that a technician would be out on December 31. So Im without a fridge for TWO WEEKS! Forget cooking Christmas dinner or hosting a New Years party. This is unacceptable. If Amazon can deliver a package in under an hour, then Kenmore should be able to put a technician in a truck to pick up the parts at whatever warehouse theyre located in and drive out to my house TODAY to fix the issue.

We had a Sears store close by for many years and usually purchased all of our appliances from them. The line of appliances was fairly wide and there were adequate choices to make a decision for the model we desired. The Kenmore refrigerator was spacious in capacity, had good produce space and I liked the ice and water dispenser options that it offered. I also liked the color options because I wanted it to match my other black appliances. However, I was disappointed in the performance of this refrigerator because it broke down after only 2 years and then I could not get immediate service for it. Serviceman came, but then didnt have parts for a repair even though we gave a full description of what part had failed before the serviceman came. We would not repurchase a Kenmore refrigerator.

The performance is amazing. It does and has everything you would want and need from a refrigerator. The size is perfect. It had storage for everything you could possibly need. It has all kinds of compartments and different areas of storage. The appearance is great. You look at refrigerators and usually see the same style. This one is unique and innovative. It has all the looks and style you could ever want in a refrigerator. The value is perfect. Nowadays you would think a refrigerator like this would cost over a thousand dollars, but it doesnt. The value is 100% great and I would recommend.

I have had many Kenmore appliances over the years and theyve always lasted a very long time... with the exception of the refrigerator. The refrigerator was disappointing. The one I bought was roughly in the 1990s. It was a side by side model and I liked the size of it. It had a water/Ice dispenser which we never hooked up. I liked the refrigerator just fine until it quit cooling. It ran but has no cold air.

The Kenmore refrigerator worked well, it needed no major repairs, had adjustable temp. control for the refrigerator compartment, easy to clean. I had it for a long time. The price fit my budget and I knew the brand. It did meet my expectations for size, ease of use, reliability, except for the freezer compartment. Freezer could have been colder and if I had to buy another refrigerator, Id pay more to get one that had a specific control for the temperature of the freezer compartment. Also, I didnt like the egg tray because it was not removable which made that the one part harder to clean.

The refrigerator is reliable, expendable, and trendy. Right now the features I love because it’s a big improvement since my last refrigerator, and I can’t complain about the space. I have more space for food and dont have to depend on a whole freezer to store extra food. Also, with the extra space, it keeps my food fresh and cool instead of spoiling quicker than other refrigerators because of the lack of space. It’s also slim fit and tight storage which also keeps your food and beverages fresh over time. I love that the water is purified and I don’t have to buy a whole water filter system because with a system you have to replace every three months which can cost more money over time. When you can just buy a refrigerator with natural water filtration system and contain less contaminants than any tap water or water bottle brand you can find in the market or any stores out right now. The water is ph7 and up which means it’s no contaminants in the water and I don’t have to buy any filter and also my ice is already clean and purified because of the brand-new updated features. I was close to choosing Whirlpool but I chose Kenmore because of the reputation and how their customers was very pleased and happy to share their experiences with the brand free of choice. And in my opinion, Kenmore is similar to an smart refrigerators because of the up-to-date technology and have open USBs. It’s child and spill-proof because it stops upcoming spills from happening and protects other shelves from getting messy if it was to happened because previous refrigerators don’t have that security. If an spill happened everything gets wet, so I like the safety and precaution needs of the consumer.

We have never had any problems with this refrigerator. It has always kept things cold very quiet running. Sometimes I have opened the door just to make sure it was still running. Never had any problems with the freezer, always keeps things frozen. Love the vegetable crisper keeps everything crisp. The size is right for us. Even when our children were home we still had plenty of room. I like how the shelves are adjustable and how easy it is to adjust them so no matter what I need to put in there I know it will fit. Great appearance. Looks really great in my kitchen. I love how easy it is to clean. Just a quick wipe down and I am done. Love the white color, not too shiny but not dull, really stands out. I feel that it is a great value. I cannot remember what we paid for it but I know that we got a very good deal because it has lasted a long time and we have never had to throw anything out because of spoilage.

The first Kenmore our family had lasted over 60 years. Though it was small by modern standards it never had a maintenance problem and spent the last 40 years as the basement fridge for beer and excess food.

I purchased a Kenmore refrigerator, based on my past Kenmore purchases. Not only have the products deteriorated but I have not experienced such poor customer service, ever. At 9 months my refrigerator stopped working. I first emailed customer service with no response. I then called customer service and after I was basically told by the person that answered the phone, that it was my fault (6 different ways) that my refrigerator stopped working (which was after I was told that I shouldn’t email but only call customer service-complete opposition to the website and to a card left by a service tech). One of the things I was told was that I should only be using 60%-80% of the freezer space. I asked her to tell me where that was written in the owner’s manual. She stuttered and stammered and then said (after telling me how she knew all these issues because she had worked there 11 years, and this was most likely my fault) that she got confused as to what service told her and what was in the manual. It would be false advertising to sell a 26.1 cu. ft. fridge but only be allowed to use 60%-80% of that space or it stops working, when a person actually uses the space that was purchased. After so much time on the phone, I got put on the emergency schedule, which was 5 days out. After service checked it out, I was told a part had to be ordered and it would take 6 days. 18 days later, I called back (no one called or notified me), to be told the part was on back order until March. I asked what they were going to do until then, I got transferred two different times after the first person couldnt help. I was told that after 30 days that they would schedule a replacement. I asked that they send me documentation for that and I was put on hold (after a loud sigh and a very huffy “I will check to see if that information can be texted or faxed” after I had been told it couldn’t be emailed) and at an hour of being on-hold I hung up.I had asked to schedule the replacement appointment since I had been told already that the part wasnt coming until March, almost another 2 months. The customer service person (supposed customer service person) got very short and said they couldn’t do that until 30 days had past. This was after I asked her to confirm that I had to wait even more days because the order for the replacement part was made 5 days after the service personnel were out (12/17/19). They stated they ordered the part at that time, but in fact did not order the part until 5 days later - per the personnel that answered the phone on 1/4/2020. I sent the original email on the 13th of Dec. which was a day after my refrigerator went out. It is now the 5th of January 2020. So that all my food did not spoil I purchased an ice chest and after days of going back and forth to a station for ice I purchased a small refrigerator. In another week it will have been a month without the refrigerator. After spending about $2000 for a product that now doesn’t work and substitutions, so I don’t lose more, I am the one made to suffer even more and made to wait. This is in addition to receiving the worst customer service I have ever received. (I have spent time on the phone with Microsoft and Apple and in comparison, they were jewels.)

I purchased a Kenmore elite model 74015 fridge freezer in November 2015 from Sears and after only four years the compressor and cooling system failed. Sears could only offer a service technician to come in a weeks time to fix it. I will not be buying another Kenmore product. The quality and service are dismal.

My fridge has had icicles forming on the inside of the freezer door and freezer frame. It is caused from the factory not making it airtight. They will not replace these fridges. They will only send a repair man to fix everything by using silicone all around the whole thing. It is apparent all these models 970R424123 Serial number BA54922901 Model type AD-18 were made with the same problem. Very dissatisfied with fridge and service. All people should be posting their dissatisfaction with this product which is owned by Electrolux!!!

It out performed. Had it for many years and is still working to full capacity. We grocery shop once a month for groceries and it holds all of my food we buy. The size of the freezer is exceptional for what my needs are. The white matched my kitchen and all the other appliances. The top and bottom were perfect size for my space available. It was easy to keep clean with the finish it had on it. Was extremely satisfied with the purchase price compared many models and this one had the most for the money compared to what else was out there.

If you buy a Kenmore Elite French door be very sure you are buying one made by Whirlpool not made by LG. If you are told it is a LG, RUN. I have a $2000 Kenmore Elite French Door bought Aug. 09, 2013 that I am junking. Had it worked on by the only local guy locally. He put on new parts and could not fix. Takes Sears home repair at least 3 weeks to come. Sears does not offer any help and could care less. Wants you to buy a warranty for $49.95 a month to cover repairs up to $500. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING LG or KENMORE ELITE.

DO NOT BUY AN APPLIANCE FROM SEARS... ESPECIALLY A KENMORE PRODUCT! We purchased a Kenmore side-by-side refrigerator MODEL 106.51335710, from Sears in Sept. 2018. The ice-maker dripped from day 1. We were told to let the ice maker fill several times and the dripping will stop. Needless to say, the dripping did not stop. In October 2018 Sears agreed to exchange the refrigerator freezer for a brand new one. Same model. Same problem happened again. From day 1 the ice maker drips. The problem is after using the indoor ice dispenser, ice gets stuck in the chute. As the ice slowly melts, it drips, fills up the tray with water. The tray eventually fills up and water overflows to the floor. In addition, the ice that is stuck in the chute, eventually melts to a small enough size, falls out of the chute, bounces on the tray and falls to the floor. We have puddles of water on the floor, in front of the fridge, on a daily basis.We just dealt with it. A friend recently visited and convinced me we should not have to deal with a product that has not worked from day 1 and I should take care of it before the warranty expires. Here the bigger nightmare begins. We called Sears, told them the problem and they agreed to send a service tech. The tech came out the week of May 13, 2019. He told me the ice maker dripping is not desirable, but it is not broken. It is not considered broken just because it drips water. Water on the floor in front of my fridge (on a tile floor) is not a hazard. After much back and forth, he told me he cannot disparage the company name. HIS EXACT WORDS. He got mad as i continued to press and he left.After many calls to Sears again and many transfers to the useless customer service center in The Philippines we agreed to Sears suggestion of having another tech come out. This tech was much nicer, but basically said the same thing. Although he did tell us he would order a part, but it was not the correct part to fix our fridge. He has to order it because thats what his department is suggesting. I promise you...I couldnt make this stuff up if I tried. Not surprising - we called the customer service number we were given and that just looped us back to the useless customer service center in the Philippines. The service center suggested we have another tech come out. That appointment is set for tomorrow. See the pattern here? My hopes are low for ever getting this resolved. DO NOT BUY AN APPLIANCE FROM SEARS... ESPECIALLY A KENMORE PRODUCT!

The refrigerator has great efficiency when keeping items cold, and would not overuse the electricity. Very happy with the freezer. Its quiet, efficient, and has enough room for meats and veggies. Perfect for couples. Also, it fit quite easily in the kitchen, though not too convinced with the doors opening side by side. Would recommend to get if kitchen isnt so cluttered together. The appearance is very basic with the stainless steel, it isnt too flashy or too simple. But, it scratches easily when putting things on the doors like magnetic objects. Also, I feel like it is overpriced because its a very simple refrigerator and its functions arent very complex at all.

The refrigerator kept most of the food cold, however it had poor vegetable humidity control. The meat container sections were well-spaced but I prefer have a single compartment instead of using a multi-spaced compartment area to store your rock-hard meats. The refrigerator was well-spaced and it had decent legroom for standing inside of it, however when it comes to freezer room, there was not enough space. Yes it was overall not great.

I really liked the ice and water dispense feature. The fridge always stayed at the proper temperature. The fridge was never loud. I liked the stainless steel finish that was pretty smudge resistant and fit very well into my kitchen decor. The fridge was pretty spacious. The shelves could be removed and replaced to my needs and specifications. The fridge fits perfectly into the nook it was intended for under my shelves. I liked the look of the water and ice dispenser. It was big enough for most glasses, but the over feature was more recessed and discreet. Not too gaudy and shiny. After careful research, the Kenmore fridge seemed to be the best value for the money I wanted to spend. It had the size and features I wanted without breaking the bank.

I purchased a Kenmore Elite Refrigerator 18 months ago based on Kenmores past history of consumer confidence and quality products. When one spends over $2000 on a refrigerator, the fair and reasonable expectation would be that the refrigerator would last more than 18 months. The refrigerator has already failed after 18 months of use and I am being told that they need to send a service tech to diagnosis. The refrigerator has a new technology with WiFi so I was informed from the get go they could diagnose the problem from remote. When called, they said they could not do that and would have to send a repair technician. I asked them to waive the fee since I had already paid for WiFi service and was told flatly no after at least 8 phone calls to different people in different departments. Not only do they have to send a tech to now diagnose the problem and I pay for the service call, the motor or whatever is no longer covered because its past a year old, and they will only cover the compressor. I am disgusted with the quality of this Kenmore product and will be writing a letter to corporate. Their solution is for me to purchase an extended warranty at $40 per month. Thats $600 per year. Its become crystal clear to me why the once venerable Sears and Roebuck Company is closing stores all around the nation and is rumored to be on the verge of bankruptcy.

The Kenmore refrigerator was a top performer. It had a large freezer compartment located on the top. The shelves and storage compartment were ample. The roomy interior afforded adequate space. It was easy to clean with a damp cloth. Exterior surface looked good. The roomy interior, vegetable and meat compartments and upper freezer had plenty of room for my family of four. Also, there were the right number of shelves which adjusted a height to accommodate your every need. Frankly, the appearance was quite ordinary with no outstanding features. It was of average height, white finish, with no decorative features. Overall, I perceive the value of my Kenmore refrigerator as good. Both the interior and exterior were easy to keep clean by just washing occasionally with soap and water. The see through bins made it easier to find what you were seeking in a timely manner. I would buy a Kenmore refrigerator again.

As much as we opened and closed the doors on this refrigerator it is a wonder it is still here. My refrigerator has been operating very well with no problems. It is large enough to put milk, eggs and meats in the freezer. It served a great room for all my favorite snacks and many many vegetables I buy on the daily. It is a nice model. A regular Kenmore refrigerator with no problems or issues. The value of the refrigerator seems reasonable to me.

The ice maker was a must-have for my husband. It really helps with keeping the freezer door shut and save energy. The kids drink more water because of it. All in all the fridge is very spacious and the shelves make it easy to find everything. 26 cu. ft was the biggest one they had. It works great for our family. The kids can always find their snacks after school or after play time. The whole family is happy with the size. Its very pretty and we get lots of compliments. People seem to like the size and the overall look of it. The finish is easy to clean and the ice maker is very noticeable. It was a little bit pricey, but so worth it. Overall we are very pleased with the fridge and the freezer. I would buy this one again, but being a Kenmore we wont need to for years to come.

When I bought my new home, I purchased a Kenmore side by side refrigerator, model # 253.5569907. Yes, the warranty has expired, so, it seems that Sears is willing to gouge me for any money they can. The enamel around the bottom of the ice dispenser is bubbling and rusting… much like a car would that has been through snow and road salt. Since Id received an invitation to renew my warranty, I decided to ask about the rust. I was transferred to 3 different operators. The last one finally told me that there was no recall on my model. I was told that I could pay for a technician to come and look at the door. (I know what rust looks like.) Also, to fix the door, perhaps the door could be replaced at my cost, of course. IF theres a site listing recalls of SEARS products, I CANNOT find it!!! Ive never known a refrigerator door to rust away. I do know that when I replace my appliances or anything else, I would think long and hard before shopping at Sears.

On 8/8/2011, I purchased a Kenmore Elite refrigerator model 4602 from Sears. In October of 2012, the ice dispenser caused my circuit breaker to trip and the dispenser stopped working. Of course, you may say I should have purchased insurance, but it seems to me it is ridiculous for a $1000+ appliance to stop working after 14 months. I will never again purchase from Sears or recommend them to my associates.

It lasts very long and is dependable. We have never had any major issues with it and it is a great warranty that gives you peace of mind if it should ever break down that it will be fully covered no matter what. It can fit everything that we put in it large or small without any problems. As most people know they are fairly large refrigerators that can take anything that you throw at it no matter what. It is a very modern looking fridge that should fit in well with any decor and it is very sleek and updated with the latest colors and technology. The price was great and I never have to worry about it breaking down because they seem to hold up to pretty much anything that may be done to it no matter what it is that may happen to it.

I bought this fridge brand new and have had it for 9 years with no problems. Then out of nowhere my son and I came in the house in the middle of the day and my son smelled something burning. He looked towards the fridge and smoke was coming out of the ice maker. We got up and opened the freezer door of the fridge, and there was a full blown fire coming from around the ice maker mechanism. We put the fire out and unplugged the fridge. What kept running through our minds was, what if we werent home or what if this had happened at night while we were all sleeping. After I took the ice maker mechanism off I could see that there were bare wires that might have caused the fire. Very scary.

Its black design makes it look amazing and gracious. It goes with all my pots and pans and any knick knacks I have to match. It also goes with or tiling in the kitchen and the handles on the door are nice and sturdy. Also, its very spacious in both the top and the bottom of the fridge. You have the freedom to do the shelves at any level of spacing and it still fits a lot of food and drinks. The crisper drawers keep the veggies at a perfect temp and ice maker works great. I would recommend any fridge done by Kenmore. Even growing up I lived on these refrigerators and I dont remember them falling at any level or beating any other competitors.

It seemed cramped even though it had the same amount of space as my fridge I currently own. Other than that it met my needs as far as fridges go. It was a basic model and I owned that fridge a couple of years ago.

I’ve had problems with the ice maker, twice. The vegetable bins are bulky. The fridge is also very noisy, but overall it is a good machine. I think I might look around before I purchase another one of the same make.

This refrigerator has been an excellent purchase. Lives up to expectations of quality and value for the price. Would recommend to family and friends and would also purchase again. What more could you want?

The initial reason we choose Kenmore was first because they received really good reviews, second their price was really good for the features they offered and third the overall durability. The refrigerator we bought is a side by side refrigerator freezer combo and it looks very good. It came with a built in water filter and ice machine. The water filter is a very big deal for me since I drink a lot of water. If it had a couple more cool features it would be nice but I am very impressed with it.

DO NOT BUY KENMORE ELITE REFRIGERATORS. One month after the warranty expired, the ice maker went out. After all the phone calls, finds out there was a recall. We did not receive any notice. We are halfway through the three-week period of waiting for the repair man, now the freezer stopped working. All the food in this piece of ** freezer is in the damn trash. I read a review on the ice was not keeping up with the demands. SHOULD HAVE LISTENED. As you can tell we are very disappointed in this big piece of **. If they have the balls to place this review on their website, listen to it. PS: I would recommend this junk to Obama.

Kenmore refrigerators are the best in my opinion! Great cooling everywhere including the fast making ice maker and water dispenser - Always cold. I enjoy having the lights in the freezer area too.

They work good. My grandma had one for years and years. I remember her fridge and freezer that she had. They last forever and keep things cold and frozen and they are very sturdy too. I like the space they have in them and they can be packed full with enough room that you dont have to go to the store every few days to buy more food. The appearance is nice in white or black color and they are not cheap material that will break in a quick time. They last a long time. You get your moneys worth out of Kenmore products. They are worth the money that you spend on them when you buy them. My grandma had hers long after I left home to go south and still when I came home.

I was well acquainted with brand, and had used Kenmore washers in the past. l like my GE profile refrigerator better although l like the smooth surface of both the refrigerator and the handles for ease of cleaning. I like the large capacity refrigerator section and very large freezer section. Theres various options for ice and water. And nice, roomy bins and in-door egg holder. But it doesnt seem to cool as well as other brands I have used in the past and the model I have does not allow for versatility of adjusting shelves to different heights to accommodate tall bottles, etc. Will probably not purchase brand again.

Quality refrigerator. Keeps food cold. Works well. Little noise. Has no breakdown. The inside is well positioned, easy to get at food, right height. It is appropriate for my needs. Children have no problem getting what they want. Has a stainless steel exterior and makes a nice design for my kitchen. Fits in with other appliances so all add a great look. Value is ok for a 12-year old refrigerator and it has stayed consistent and worth the investment. But need more room in the refrigerator as I tend to buy in bulk so I have a second refrigerator, smaller but has my overflow especially for coming holiday. Will be looking for a larger Kenmore but with same design. Nevertheless, Sears stands behind their Kenmore product. Good support if needed and I get updates as needed.

The experience we had with our Kenmore Refrigerator was very positive. The appliance was very durable as it lasted more than 15 years. That was the second longest tenure of any of our refrigerators since we moved into this home in 1967. It had to withstand opening and closing the appliance dozens of times on a daily basis as there was always great traffic around our Kenmore. Its like many of the Sears products that we have owned: tremendously sturdy and dependable. I would heartily endorse the Kenmore fridge.

Cost efficient, low maintenance and keeps everything cold. We have two fridges and a deep freezer, this one cost less to keep running throughout the year. And then there is a good amount of room to feed 6 people. Freezer could be bigger but it is great for the price we got it for. A lot of storage room in the refrigerator, shelf have a decent amount of room. Nice clean white look, matches well with all the other appliances. Very simple design and gets the job done. Its a bit high and it was hard to move and get into the basement.

I had a Kenmore refrigerator many years ago that outlasted itself by many years. My family and I loved it. When it came time to be replaced, there were no models at that time that would fit in the assigned space since I had my kitchen remodeled.

We have had it for about a year now and normally our other freezers would start having issues, but this one has not and keeps everything super cold. It has a lot of space and it is easy to store things. With all the drawers it makes organizing so easy. And I like that its wire, it makes it easy to clean. It is very clean in appearance. I like the white color, it keeps it classic. The inside is also white as is the wire shelves and the shelves on the door. It was a great price. Normally we have our freezers break after about three years and half to buy a new one so it was great that this one wasnt very expensive.

The refrigerator has been a great investment for me in my house. It works well and has a nice ice maker to go with it. It fits all my groceries and I always have plenty of extra space to put things freezer for around the holidays and for extra meals and it has an extra large freezer. It is a beautiful, steel colored fridge that has a great look to it, too. It goes well with my kitchen colors as well as my appliances. The value of the fridge was worth the amount I paid for it. I would recommend this brand to someone that needed a refrigerator. If I ever decide I need a new fridge I would probably buy the same make and model.

My Kenmore worked well for the first year but after that it started freezing up at the bottom and then melting and leaking water. I would clean everything out and it would work ok for a while and do it again. I had to replace it. That kind of appliance should work for more than a couple of years.

The entire unit has plenty of space for your needs of a family, Id say up to 7 people. The refrigerator and freezer space is large enough to hold whatever it is you need. The freezer has never iced up in 13 years, which makes me thrilled. If I had to replace my unit, I would certainly consider another made by Kenmore as I HAVE NOT had any trouble with this one AT ALL. It is a great piece of equipment, just like Kenmores other equipment. You can not go wrong buying a KENMORE!!!! The size of the refrigerator is almost too big for my family of 3. This is a refrigerator that should be highly considered when purchasing a refrigerator. You wont be sorry if you buy one. The appearance of the refrigerator is clean. I have a white refrigerator and is very easy to take care of when something gets on it. With having an upper door for the freezer and a lower door for the refrigerator, this makes it easily accessible to get to the item you need. The refrigerator and freezer has the ability to switch which way the door opens, so whatever way your kitchen needs the unit to fit it will accommodate. Nice. Everything, nowadays, is very expensive. However, like the saying goes You get what you pay for and with refrigerators/freezers you need a HIGH QUALITY one. Kenmore is known and lives up to its name so as you may pay a little more you are getting a much higher quality for your money. Its worth it. Having my refrigerator for 13 years and it is still running like day 1 says a lot to me. Money is tight and I am not having to run out and buy a new one for any reason. Bottom line - Kenmore is a great value for your money.

I too spent my hard earned dollars to purchase a Kenmore bottom mount refrigerator. Within two years of purchase it began leaking water onto my kitchen floor. Not only is this problematic in terms of actually having cold storage for our food but a hazard. Having been unaware of the problem, I took a major dive on the kitchen floor when I slid in the puddle of water. One more reason to BEWARE of purchasing from Sears. Seems like Sears will not change their irresponsible practices until a law suit forces them to do so.

I bought a Kenmore refrigerator (freezer on top, model 106.6093) in October 2011. Six and a half years later the compressor no longer works. It would cost $440 to replace, plus labor and removing the old refrigerator. I will be buying a new refrigerator, different brand. I bought Kenmore products for years. Their quality has clearly deteriorated. Also, when I called about the compressor I was shunted to 5 different telephone trees. I never reached a live person who could offer anything but the option to purchase a new compressor - after 6 years I no longer have a warranty, but certainly customers expect a refrigerator to last longer than 6 years.

Bought Kenmore Elite French door model # 74093 in Dec 2014 for new house. In May 2015 it started making a fan noise, so I called for service under our Sears protection plan. 6 weeks, 3 parts, 5 service calls, and a dead refrigerator. I called Sears Service and demanded a replacement. This is when it really got crazy. They told me that the Sears Appliance Center was not really Sears and I had to deal with them directly because their policies might be different than the real Sears. SERIOUSLY?? Yep, I was told that the Sears Warranty staff that I was dealing with couldnt help me, and I had to go back to the Sears Appliance Center I bought the (now dead) refrigerator from; it is a franchise store. I bought Kenmore because I assumed the Sears name was my guarantee of satisfaction. I should have been informed about this distinction, because I could have gone to a real Sears store instead. SEARS on the storefront, employees wear Sears shirts, Sears receipt, Sears warranty and service agreement... but not really Sears.

Kenmore side-by-side refrigerator model #795-5102 - I purchased this refrigerator in October 2010. I just now noticed that a crack in the inside wall going from the back of the freezer to the front. I was told that I could get a $500 credit if it was decided that it was a workmanship defect. The refrigerator is like in a new condition. Im very angry and dissatisfied with Sears. The refrigerator cost over $1000. What do they think $500 will do for a new fridge? My last fridge lasted me over 10 years, not less than 2. No remedy to this. Sears is not what they used to be. I will never buy anything from them again.

The size is right for me and specially for my family. It has a lot of spaces. It is easy to organize the food in this refrigerator. Has enough shelves and can adjust for my needs. It is reliable on keeping your cold stuff cold and your frozen stuff frozen and it has good storage space to organize your frozen and or refrigerated items in. The size is adequate to fit all your different frozen and refrigerated items in without taking up too much of your kitchen space. It has two different drawer to separate your fruits and vegetables in as well as two more shelves to put all the rest of your refrigerated items on. Its simple design makes it really easy to fit into any kitchen space without looking tacky. This is really a great refrigerator for its value. Its affordable. Its reliable without costing you an arm and a leg.

My mother purchased the Kenmore refrigerator/freezer model #253.7060. After only 2 1/2 years of ownership, the compressor stopped working. The repairman said it be $666 to replace it, repair was not an option. Thats the price of a new fridge! This is a poor product. I would not recommend its purchase.

Throughout the years my family has purchased many Kenmore appliances from the time I was little to the present, and we have always been more than satisfied with the performance and quality of all of them including the refrigerators. They have great warranties and great service people. All in all, I must say they are one of the best manufacturers of home appliances built.

One refrigerator was on recall, but we knew nothing about it. Even the service man said he was unaware of the recall. It took months to have it repaired. We moved and bought a new refrigerator. Our new fridge had problems with icing up in the bottom freezer. We took care of that problem and now months later it will not keep anything cool in the main part of the fridge. The fridge is 2 years old. Very frustrating. Model number 596 699 52011.

Purchased a Kenmore Elite Fridge Side by Side, with Ice Maker attached to door. Ice Maker broke in 2 years and cant be fixed apparently the wiring broke from opening and closing the doors. This should have been a recall product, drawers falling apart. Consumers really need to research. We finally broke down and purchased a new refrigerator after 15 years and this happens.

5 year old Kenmore freezer on the bottom. Ice maker does not work and repair person from Sears told me it was not able to be fixed as Kenmore no longer makes the parts for my 5 YEAR OLD refrigerator. Thus, I must replace the entire $2000 product.

I like Kenmore refrigerators exterior water/ice; stainless steel finish and brand loyalty, side by side with great storage capacity. At time of purchase, it was best value in comparison with other brands. However, the water filters for the ice/water were costly. Improvement on price of filter and easy access to replace. Also quicker process for crushed ice and not having the shards splatter outwards rather than all directly in receptacle. But have had many Kenmore products/appliances. All were reliable and easy to purchase. Helpful salespeople. Warranty and product replacement parts easy to pick up from store.

Its amazing. Easy to use and affordable. I recommend this refrigerator to everyone. I am very happy with it. It works fine. Not a single problem with it. Its easy to place open the fridge. Size not big and not small. Perfect for a couple and a family. 1 words for it - amazing. Appearance is great. My mom and dad and soon to be wife loves the look. My family has one and will always have this fridge. I love the color. Its price for the performance is just great and good on a budget. Its price beats whirlpool.

I love my refrigerator because its modern and very easy to use. I would recommend this to family and friends, goes with any color paint of the house. My refrigerator is about a medium size with nice width and height, can fit nicely into the area where the refrigerator goes. My refrigerator is a newer model and it all stainless steel, with black handles. Its wide and its tall, nice and heavy. Well because the refrigerator is modern, the value of it is very nice. Its stainless steel and stainless steel is in nowadays so the value is very awesome.

It has a reset capability, which comes in handy when you change the water filter. The cubes and crushed ice tend to get stuck but nothing you cant use your hand to fix. Its not the biggest especially if you have a big family, its more than perfect for smaller households. The freezer is pretty standard as well as the actual fridge part. Its sleek and stainless steel. It does dent pretty fast though, any of the slightest hits could leave a small impact. Needless to say its pretty easy to clean. I dont recall how much I purchased it for, but it must of been a great value since I purchased two of the same product.

Purchased a new Kenmore Refrigerator less than a year ago and it has already stopped working. Kenmore used to have good appliance products, but not anymore. This model is actually made by LG, and had a history of compressor issues. It looks great and has nice features, but it will not last. After working fine for 10 months, I noticed the freezer defrosting and had to throw away everything in it. Also noticed the fridge getting warm. Luckily I purchased an extended warranty, so I thought. I called Sears and they said they could not send out a technician for a week. After calling several times, I was able to get the appointment moved up a few days. The technician said the compressor had failed and it would take a couple of weeks to get the parts. He said it was common problem. You would think they would have the parts on hand if they know it happens often. I have requested a replacement, too avail. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT BUY a Kenmore. Get Whirlpool instead.

It was one of the best refrigerator and it would freeze good in the freezer and run and kept thing cold. It lasted so long before it went out. It kept the food from ruining. It look good and the size was good.

Standard reliable refrigerator that was good for the price. Got it at Sears on sale and lasted about 5 years before I decided to replace to a more modern model. Good storage compartments, defrosts itself. Compartments make it easy to organize food products. Can sustain a pretty significant load without breaking apart. Freezer is spacious enough. A little basic compared to more modern models but does its job. Easy to clean and fits my kitchen style theme. Wish it was more visually appealing honestly. Fairly priced considering how long it held up and with the features it has such as nice compartments. Good value since it was on sale at Sears.

I really enjoy this refrigerator. It keeps my food at the right temps. And had plenty of space. I recommended this same model to my dad and he got it for my mom. She loves it and said that it will be her last one. The size of the refrigerator was a big deal for me when I was looking for the right one. I live by myself but I usually host thanksgivings, Christmas, etc. so I do a big shopping at that time. The space that I have with my refrigerator put my mind now at ease. No more clutter and I can find and see everything that I bought and used it without it spoiling. I liked the appearance because it matches my kitchen decor. It fits perfectly in the city of my kitchen and it blends in. I love it. The style makes my kitchen look like one of them tv food shows (modern). Again very happy with this product. I had my refrigerator now for two - three years. Everything that it said it will do it does. The value of it is spot on.

These models are somewhat overly priced and cost a bit too much. Also, its a rather big machine. It is slightly bigger than I expected it to be but it is very good and I can handle the size of it for the performance it gives. I love the chrome finish and the silver color to this model. The buttons for the ice cube and water trays are also amazing and have a wonderful color and design. This fridge does so many amazing things and the ice and water part of the door panel is wonderful. It performs very well and I truly enjoy this machine.

Kenmore refrigerators super cool. The refrigerator have high quality and save me money for energy maintenance. Space is perfect for my family of five and the vegetable area prevent vegetable getting damage easily and maintains the vegetables fresh and for long period of time. I’m very satisfied with my refrigerator.

The Kenmore Refrigerator was on sale, looked very nice and easy to upkeep. It went very well with my kitchen layout and saved some space, and fit into the home I was at at the time. It also looked good with our other appliances. However, I dislike how small it was, there was a ice maker but it didnt work well and took up a lot of the room in the freezer which wasnt ideal. Also, it would hold onto finger marks or stains on the inside. Nevertheless, I like the pull out drawers. When it was brand new it looked sleek. It held a lot of food and had a good amount of space to be able to have lots of different foods in specific areas of the fridge. And I would purchase again.

Weve had Kenmore refrigerators in the past and have great luck with them. We have a service contract and get a maintenance visit every year. We had one service call and it was covered, no hassle. Love my Kenmore Elite and in this case the cost was right and the size was great for our family. Love the slide out shelves, the automated ice and water dispenser, meat and cheese drawer, vegetable and fruit drawer. I like the freezer on the bottom and the French doors. Occasionally, if we don’t use enough ice the ice machine part gets bogged down but it’s easy to open the ice maker door and clear it out. Also, the paddle occasionally gets stuck and well get water all over the floor. Now that we know we take special care.

I purchased a Kenmore for several reasons. It is a brand that has great name recognition. I was looking for a smaller width refrigerator and the Kenmore line had a size I needed and had all the special features I was looking for even though it was a smaller size. The water filter is easy to change because of its location. Glass shelves are important too. They are easy to clean and so much better than the wire shelving. The vegetable drawers are deep and I like the fact that they are clear. The refrigerator is super quiet too. The ice maker really does a good job too. The location of the ice bin on the door is a feature I appreciate. Im able to see the quantity of ice and I can also remove the bin easily if needed! I just really wish they would have several lights in the freezer. For some reason I always manage to block the light with my placement of the frozen items. I also am not happy with the bottom door shelf. I find that the depth is a little too small.

This is a nice basic refrigerator. It doesnt have the frill like other models but it works and thats all you need. Kenmore is a well-known name and one you can count on. My refrigerator is a basic model with the freezer on the bottom. Its the perfect size for a small family wanting just the basics. It has no frills but its a workhorse made to last. The refrigerator is plain with no water device on the front. Its just the right size for a small family or empty nesters. Its also sturdy looking. The price of this refrigerator is great. Its the basic model so it doesnt cost as much as the fancy models. If you compare prices then you will see Kenmore is the brand to buy.
