My Kenmore fridge last my family for very many years, and especially long considering the fact that there were 4 kids under the age of 5 running around. The finish got worn and the handle broke a lot sooner than Id have hoped... And the stripping on the door broke off, as well, but all in all, it was a well-made product and Id definitely consider buying Kenmore again.

It was a great fridge. Kept up on making ice even when it was so hot and humid outside. Always kept beer or soda cold and not just cold but just the right coldness. Kept our fruit and veggie good for a long time. It seemed longer than our old fridge one did. We are a big family of 6 with 3 boys one girl so we would do most of the shopping one time a month besides odds and ends and it would hold 400-500 of meat and everything else as well. It was a basic look fridge with the freezer on top, the ice box on bottom. It looked good next to our white walls. We got it from my mother when we first moved out to the state we live in. We had it for 3 years and then when we moved we updated to a bigger one and sold that one for 100 bucks.

My refrigerator is four years old, and it has been trouble-free. I bought it on-line from Sears, and it was delivered and set up without issue. Its quiet and couldnt be happier with its performance and appearance.

It is efficient. Cooling is very good. Keeps vegetables and perishable fresh for reasonable long period. Sufficient place to store things. Freezer chest is spacious and maintains excellent temperature. It is 18 cu ft. space is sufficient for a family of four. Can store vegetables, meat, chicken, turkey, beer, soda, and many other items. Plenty of shelf space. It is an attractive looking unit. Has gray color and has freezer compartment and larger regular cooling compartment. It is not too tall so we can store light things on top of it. It has excellent value. After a careful use of even five to ten years it commands a very good resale value. I never had any part go bad even after prolonged use.

Kenmore is a brand that I trust and love so much. It provides everything I need and more. I actually own several items. Its just incredible and worth every penny. People always ask me about this brand and I say all the time just go for it. It has been in the family for decades starting with my grandma, my mother, and of course, myself. My husband knows what I like and need especially when it comes of purchasing major appliance items. In this case my lovely fridge...

Refrigerator leaking water into produce trays. On December 4, 2014 replaced the evaporator wall cover in my new fridge. Fast forward to January 4, 2015 - same problem all over again. It is going to cost me close to $200 to have my fridge repaired AGAIN. Unacceptable.

Its your pretty basic fridge, no bells and whistles such as ice makers. But in the 8 years or so Ive had it, there have rarely been any problems that needed addressing. It does the job well and doesnt affect my electric bill in a noticeable way. And on those occasions of power outages, it manages to keep things cool/cold until the situation is sorted, so I dont have to clean it out and start over.

13 months after purchasing this expensive refrigerator and 1 month after the warranty ran out, the entire computer circuitry has to be replaced. Oh, and the ice maker has yet to work correctly. So, Sears answer? Buy a $279 warranty and well come out on February 10, 2014 to fix your refrigerator. If it costs more than $500 to fix, I have to pay the difference. Unbelievable!

The Kenmore refrigerator was a great purchase for me and my family. Everyone love this refrigerator. It was quiet, well maintain, no issues. It was just great. The price was good. Nothing but great reviews. The freezer part was a good size, bigger than I thought. The bottom part was real big and could hold a lot.

I was broke and needed a refrigerator. I found a used Kenmore refrigerator and was what I could get at the time. It was great and beautiful compared to not having one at all. I was just glad to get one. I liked that the refrigerator was spacious and cheap.

Bought a Kenmore refrigerator Nov 2017, under warranty, repair techs out twice, two more scheduled repairs. They were a no show, Philippines based customer care is incompetent. DONT BUY KENMORE! SEARS IS DEAD!

I like that the freezer and cooler work good and the drawers in the refrigerator part are placed in convenient places. I love the freezer but wish it were bigger. I think the fridge is fine overall. I love how big the refrigerator part is and how big the drawers are for meat, veggies, and other food. I think the freezer is too small though. It is white and plain on the outside and is nicer on the inside. I think the drawers are pretty cool but nothing fancy. I am cheap and thought that this was a pretty good deal for a basic refrigerator. It is doing what it needs to do and for the price I dont expect more.

Bottom freezer side by side upper 32.5 Cf. Unit was delivered and set-up. About 3 months later the unit froze up inside and then it couldnt cool. I called service and they sent out somebody to thaw it out. The unit froze up again about a couple months later. Service sent me some parts for the service man to install. The man thawed the unit and left again. The unit froze up again soon after that. They sent another service guy out to thaw it out again. This time they replaced parts and told me I could never use the Energy Saver setting. Now a couple days ago my unit broke again. It appears to have a leak in the freon system. There is oil in the drain pan. I called Service and they tell me that now my warranty ran out and I would have to buy another warranty. I would have never bought and paid $2955 for a unit that was only going to last less than 5 years. I will never buy Kenmore again.

Ample space. Sliding shelves. Sliding drawers. Laid out very nice. Freezer on bottom with 2 shelves, lots of room. Single door with ice cube (inside) maker. Easy to clean. Black shows more dirt. Would not recommend that color.

A good refrigerator. Performs well. Only problem with it is the unique feature of reversing the doors to different sides. Which after doing so the door wont seal shut when you close it. Minor thing that and to take it through a normal size door, to change rooms. You have to take off the whole door. Other than that you make a good product. I would like someday to try one of your fridges with automatic ice maker.

Only had a problem with the Ice Maker once. Great Refrigerator/Freezer. It maintains constant temperature and the number of storage drawers make it a wonderful Refrigerator. The freezer has three drawers. One large with two different compartments and two smaller in depth. Certainly a very useful combination in both the Refrigerator and also the Freezer.

It is great and I recommend to everyone. I have the stainless steel. It looks very stylish and compact. It keeps everything cold and very crisp. I wish all refrigerators was this affordable and stylish.

The reason I choose Kenmore is first and foremost is their reputation and its storage zones. The Kenmore brand is a well respected brand and is well sold all over the world. Kenmore refrigerator uses new technology at the time for zone temperature control which is very helpful especially for fruit and vegetables. Kenmore exceeds my expectations on reliability, safety, control, smart design and engineering. Kenmore has very few design imperfections that I dislike with a couple of items. The first is the unit footprint limitations especially for an apartment size space. As usual I would prefer something that holds all my standard groceries and items I need temperature controlled that may spoil. The second item is compartment sizes efficient to hold my vegetables especially when cooking and having to pile them on a shelf.

No service calls concerning refrigerator, self-defrost feature performs extremely well. Interior is spacious with adjustable shelves. Would recommend to family and friends as a dependable appliance. The adjustable shelves are a convenience I enjoy based on different sizes of containers used for refrigeration. Exterior is easy to clean with very little effort required. The streamline handles make it ideal for almost any design style. Would recommend for spaces that are not large enough for the side-by-side models. Regular price of appliance is reasonable but would look for discount or sale to obtain a better cost. Sales people are knowledgeable about appliances and any additional promotional sales.

I purchased my new refrigerator from Sears four years ago. The ice maker did not produce ice. For 2 1/2 years they would come to repair for it to only last approx. 6 months before breaking down again. After the 3rd year a tech comes and explains that the ice maker has been recalled, its non repairable. Now year 4, the unit stopped cooling! They come and replace the control board because it was on recall too. Really??? Now Im on technician visit number 6 within 2 weeks. Day after installation of new board... warm again!!! No freezer, no refrigerator. Maam its your compressor. Another week for compressor to arrive, installed, nothing. The thing is warmer with new compressor. Why??!! I have had 9 visits as of date, new and updated compressor, new ice maker, and new control board. Nothing is working!!! Im sooo frustrated now that no one wants to take ownership. It is model number 795.74032.411. BUYERS BEWARE!!!! DONT PURCHASE!!! Sears is not standing behind its product at all.

I had one that got hit by lightning and loved it. It ran well and kept everything very cold. I also have a Kenmore stand up freezer that I have had for years and love it. I had to get something at a scratch and dent after lightning strike as needed right away and had limited funds. Will go back to Kenmore just as soon as I upgrade from this one.

Our Kenmore fridge is a very basic, low-price appliance. It is a white refrigerated box for keeping food in, the kind youd find in a motel kitchenette or an inexpensive apartment. Its not appropriate for a family and you cant fit a great deal into it. Still, its acceptable for a single person or a couple who want something utilitarian without any bells and whistles. Also, it would be good for a vacation home.

The refrigerator cooled appropriately and the freezer was wonderful but overall was a little too small for my taste and preference. It was purchased prior to moving into our home and since it came with the home we had no say in it. I would not go below 22 cubic feet. It was free so I cant complain too much. Also the vegetable bin was not sturdy. It broke 1 year into having appliance. As far as black appliances go, it was fine. Nothing too fancy about it. I have to say in its defense, the exterior was easy to clean. The interior was similar to other refrigerators that Ive seen. If I was purchasing it myself, the value is pretty good. It gets the job done.

I bought what I THOUGHT was a top of the line fridge called the Kenmore Elite but it seems that Sears forgot that elite means best and not worst. Just after 3 years the compressor died. It took 3 weeks to get the tech out so I had to buy a temp fridge. Cost me over $600 to fix. I have come to learn they are being sued for knowing about the bad compressors and selling them anyway. STAY AWAY FROM KENMORE!

I purchased a 4 door Kenmore fridge a year ago. I was excited to get it home and begin using it. They offered a 1-year warranty and we declined (Didnt think a $3000.00 fridge would give out in a year). However we were told information on extended warranty would get sent once it was close to our year ending. Well about a month and a half ago, we started to notice that the ice maker wasnt making enough ice. Then noticed the water was not as cold as it usually is. But we brushed this off as using it more than usual. Fast forward to a few days ago, our fridge completely stopped working. I immediately called Sears and was told that our warranty expired 3 days ago. We had mentioned that this seemed to have gone on for some time and just never caught it (Im not a fridge repair person). They said we would have to pay someone to come out and pay for labor and parts. We decided to call a local repair person, and he came out and told us that the computer board in the fridge is damaged and we would be looking at a minimum of $500.00 to replace just that part! So as of now, we arent sure exactly what is wrong it and Sears said they would come out to look at it in October (today is Sep. 9th). This is so frustrating, and we werent able to get any assistance from either company. If the computer part is damaged or broken, isnt that considered a defective part?

I honestly love my fridge. Its large, roomy and keeps everything inside it nice and cool. I love how the bottom chamber opens and forms more space. I like that the freezer is on the bottom, as opposed to the top and that it isnt one of those side loading type ones. I also like that water dispenser.

My Kenmore refrigerator works fine and Ive had it for years (7) so far. No problem with either cooling or freezing. My indoor water and ice maker work really well. They stand up to a lot of hard use. Kids, friends, husband, and me all use it. It had been durable. Easy to change the filters also. Im happy with the fridge. We also got a really good deal on it as Sears had a sale. I would recommend it to anyone.

I cannot give them zero stars. Purchased a Kenmore Pro refrigerator in 2017 and quit cooling on 6/2/2020. Almost made it 3 years. I did some reading and troubleshooting and found that the good old LG linear compressor is bad. Called Sears and they explained that the compressor has a warranty but the labor is not covered? Repair tech showed up this morning 6/15/2020 to take a look. Compressor is bad. Will cost $493.00 to repair!!! You pay over $3000 for a refrigerator and then need to spend $500 every 3 years? Please do yourself a favor and avoid, Sears, Kenmore, and LG refrigerators at all costs.

We have been a Kenmore family for generations. The last house we were in we got ripped off by the Sears home repair service and had many breakdowns. We decided to go away from Kenmore and Sears for several years. We moved into a new house and decided to give Sears a try again. This new fridge is junk. Just a few months after purchase the door handles keep falling off (screws will not stay tight), the ice maker fan keeps freezing up which makes all the ice melt and water all over the floor. Tried to get things repaired under warranty but after 2 hours on the phone, being transferred all over the place and being hung up on, the repair person cant come for 3 weeks. People on the phone dont speak English very well, the whole process is still a nightmare. Last time that we will ever buy Kenmore or Sears.

It came with the house. Ive had several Kenmores before this one and they always have the same problem. The ice maker freezes up at least once a week and needs to be taken apart, fixed and put back. If we can put people into space I now understand why Kenmore cant make an ice maker that works properly. I had an LG that had a wonderful ice maker but it wont fit into the fridge space in this home.

We own a Kenmore Model 795.78764 and it is without a doubt the worst appliance we have ever owned. The seals on the French doors are deteriorated and the freezer on the bottom wont close properly so it fills with frost and water to the point we need to chip it out monthly. The vegetables freeze and wastes a lot of money with ruined food. Wish we could afford something else. Will never own a Sears anything ever again.

Updated on 01/26/2021: My first review on 1/4/2021 was about a failed compressor. Today is the 1/26/2021 and the tech finally came to fix the compressor. He advised me that there are a lot of problems with these compressors. He told me that when the compressor goes a black liquid runs through the refrigerator lines. He flushed the system but said it was not guaranteed to be fully flush. He then proceeded to tell me that if there is black fluid left and it gets into the compressor it will ruin it. He then told me that the compressor will probably fail within 2 years or less after paying $300 dollars to have it fixed. If it breaks I will need to pay again to service the refrigerator. This feels like a giant scam and Sears and Kenmore should be held accountable for the faulty parts they use on their products. Unsatisfied Customer!!!Original Review: I purchased a Kenmore Elite refrigerator approximately 4 years ago because my last Kenmore was well made. The compressor already failed only after 4 yrs. Kenmore is using a LG compressor. If I wanted an LG I would’ve purchased LG. I am very disappointed and will never buy a Kenmore again. Putting cheaper parts to save money will only cost you customers!! Kenmore should fix every last compressor problem.

It is easy to adjust and maintain the temperature. There is more than adequate spacing for foods. Fits my kitchen well. The shelves hold tall as well at deep items. The drawers are big enough to hold vegetables. I like the clean lines this model has. It is easy to clean and it complements the appliances I have in the kitchen. It does not dominate the area and is the good width and height for the area. I expect this refrigerator to last many years and I checked online for other similar models and prices. This model seems to give me the most for my money.

I just needed a new refrigerator to keep my food cold and fresh that is inexpensive but effective. The Kenmore ref did everything it was supposed to. It was roomy and I could fit all my groceries in it. It kept the food and the drinks cold and made ice fairly fast.

Its a great refrigerator for its price. Works to keep everything just the right temperature. I have had the same fridge now for over 7 years and have had no problems. Next time I get another. This fridge can hold enough food for a family of 5 for at least a whole month. Next time I get a fridge though, Im going to get a side by side because its so hard to fit a lot of food in that top freezer part unfortunately. Its very plain but it does its job. Just add a few magnets to it though and bring it back to life. Other than appearance, its an awesome fridge. This fridge is a great value for its money. I didnt have to spend a lot of money at all and this fridge has lasted a little over seven years.

Has excellent coolant, nice ice water/water dispenser and ice dispenser. It is one of the top names also. Beautifully laid out and easy to put things in. It is very dependable and the quality is great as well. You will find this brand to last forever and love the ice maker and water maker. The appearance is very beautiful. It is easy to clean and shine it up and it is just a very attractive refrigerator. The value was excellent for I had shopped around a lot and this was the best value for what I was looking for. You will enjoy this refrigerator very much.

Its a good refrigerator except sometimes the bottom of the freezer forms ice then causes it to leak. And the water then sometimes freeze too and that causes it to not work at all. It looks like a big fridge. It does hold 30 dozen eggs and still has a little space left. The appearance is nice but the design of it makes it small inside. Its nice to have the extra but takes too much space up. Its not worth the value when you see how much space you are losing due to the poor design of the inside of the fridge. So would I spend the money again? No I wouldnt.

I have had my avocado green refrigerator since 1972 and it had never given me any problems. Im sure the ice maker would still work if I had the water hooked up to it, but had to move it onto a screened in porch a few years ago to make room for a side by side. It is used for cold drinks, food trays during the holidays or parties, and the freezer for over flow from the other freezers. I couldnt be happier with it and the service it has provided over the years. This refrigerator came out before the energy efficient ones were being thought about and as far as I am concerned it doesnt use any more energy than the newer ones.It is an 18.cubic foot with the nice sized freezer, with a shelf and ice maker. The refrigerator has numerous shelves that can be moved around or removed for larger items. There are 2 vegetable bins that are nice and deep across the bottom. There is a wide wire basket below the bins that makes extra storage possible for items. It has a nice finish that easily wipes down to keep it looking clean. There is a lot of room on top to store items that arent used everyday.

The refrigerator is big enough to store and freeze lots of food and makes ice also. I can find what I am looking for with ease. The drawers hold a good amount of food that stays fresh for a very long time. I freeze a lot of food that’s fresh for the winter months and I can find what I need, when I need it. We usually have a good bit of leftovers and I am confident that they stay fresh for at least a couple of weeks. I would highly recommend a Kenmore due to the ease and reliability of the refrigerator. The ice maker is fabulous because my family loves ice with most of the beverages they consume.

I just simply love it. A lot of space for all the things you need for a big family. The freezer has all the shelves you need to select the meat, vegetables, fresh and frozen. A good ice maker.

It kept everything at a consistent temperature and ran well. It had plenty of storage space and was easy to clean. The drawers were spacious and allowed for a lot of storage for fruits, vegetables, cheese, and deli meats. It is large enough to store everything I need store. It is easy to reconfigure the space. The drawer make it convenient for storage of produce. It is easy to clean both inside and outside and is utilitarian in style. The shelves are easy to clean very useful and sturdy. The drawers are clear and makes it easy to see inside. It is worth the money. The value is excellent - for what you pay you get a spacious fridge and freezer area big enough for any familys needs.

Ive owned this refrigerator for 10 years and its always performed perfectly. The food stays fresh without getting dried out and its easy to clean. All the food I need for a family of 4 fits easily and I especially like how I can put a gallon of milk on the door. Sometimes I wish for a bigger freezer, but my kitchen would not accommodate it. Its a pretty standard-looking refrigerator and would not stand out in a crowd. But it matches the look of my kitchen and I am more interested in how it works than how it looks. This refrigerator was one of the least expensive we found while we were shopping but its a great performer. It had the extras we wanted without all of the bells and whistles and was a great price.

While the company can claim this is only cosmetic, I paid $2666.44 for this refrigerator and the brown spots are increasing weekly. I deserve a product that will last.We have purchased Kenmore products in the past with great results. I will NEVER EVER purchase another Kenmore product or buy from Sears again. My Refrigerator works very well. The freezer is very cold. It got a spacious compartment where I can put my veggies, fruits, salads, milk, sodas, and many mores stuff. The design is very unique and elegant. It got enough space where I can put the rest of my frozen stuff. I like the silver color, its very neat looking, & very high quality. The design looks luxurious, astounding, and looks very durable. The value is affordable, and its worth it with the quality, design, durability of this product. Its worth every penny to have my refrigerator.

The Kenmore refrigerator is very elegant. Its size has attracted a lot of attention. On the outside, it looks very small. However, its design is expandable for more products inside. Also, the price for the refrigerator is very convincing and performance is the best. When it comes to energy consumption, it does not consume much and is put into suspension mode when everything is refrigerated. It is perfect to buy it.

Wonderful performance. I love it. Great experience. Would recommend it to friends and family. It was good and a beautiful refrigerator and kept things cold and the frozen foods frozen. Great size was able to have plenty of room and could separate things because of all the room. Had a great experience with it. Stainless steel looked sleek and elegant. Was easy to keep clean and everyone just raved about how beautiful it looked and wanted to get one for themselves. Great value for everything that you get both with looks and space and performance. I am very satisfied and would buy another one. Great.

Our refrigerator has lasted us a long time. It has worked well and maintained its temperatures. Obviously we have had to clean it out and defrost it from time to time, but it has lasted for many years. It has multiple sections. Our Fridge is sufficiently sized. We can get as much as we need in it. We would rather have a larger fridge with more room. We have adequate space in the freezer, and space for produce. We have shelves, but a few are broken. At this point our fridge is antiquated. It is getting old and in need of a significant update. We are ready to purchase a new refrigerator. I am sure that due to the age and condition of our fridge that it does not hold or maintain much value. The appearance and parts of the fridge both need improvement.

You can move the shelf in. It easy to keep clean. Freezer work good. No water out the bottom of it. It cost very low. Goods saver. Fits a lot of goods in it. The only thing that I dont like was that had not ice maker. Its ok for the apartment but wish that inside were a little bigger but it still do the job of keeping my food cold and my drinks too. All white. Its a freezer that work and keep your food cold.

We bought a Kenmore fridge, model 61205, we wanted something big, without an ice maker and easy for the kids to get their own snacks. When they brought it home we waited the 24 hrs till it was ready to use. I disconnected the old fridge, moved it out of the way for the new one, when I plugged the new fridge it wouldnt cool, took over 2 hours to start blowing cold in the fridge, the freezer worked just fine but I was scared all the food would go bad so I took everything out again to the old fridge and called Sears. They will be bringing in a new one and hopefully its not a thing with all of them.

Had plenty of room for all my food. It was easy to set up the temperature and it never failed at its job. Normal sized fridge and had plenty of room for large items like the water pitcher and milk. The freezer also was great. Never had any problems with it. The inside was easy to clean and organized as I saw fit. The door part was large and easy to clean also. Kenmore is a great product and company. I never had any problems with it and have had it for 4 years now.

I really like and prefer the side by side doors rather than the classic top and bottom. Ice and water dispenser is also a must have. Another important feature I look for is adjustable shelves. No one person is the same and the same goes for food organization in your refrigerator. This Kenmore refrigerator caught my attention because the sale price and the features I previously described. However, I dont care much for stainless steel anymore as I find it more difficult to keep clean and looking nice with children in the home. This refrigerator is also very heavy and hard to move. Once a year I do spring cleaning and my previous refrigerator was quite easy to move to clean around. This thing is a beast and took both my husband and myself to move for five minutes of cleaning. There should be some kind of wheels or something to assist in this.

It does its job. I bought this 3 years ago with great discounts during the Christmas sales. It is still working great and looks brand new. I have not had a problem with it. This refrigerator is not too big nor small. It just the right side. It fits perfectly in our kitchen. I would definitely recommend this to everyone. It is stainless steels. It is sometimes hard to keep up with it because of the finger prints on them. However it looks sharp and stylish!

Pls stay away from Kenmore Elite Refrigerators sold by Sears and built by LG. Paid $2400 for the French door refrigerator and purchased it in Nov 2015. Bought extended warranty for additional 3 yrs for $500. Fridge stopped working 1 week ago. Not cooling or freezing. Sears tech came out and said this is a common problem with all LG refrigerators branded under Kenmore. 3 yr warranty expired in Dec. Go figure. Being charged $500 for labor. Wife is extremely annoyed. Our 15 yr old refrigerator in garage is working nicely which allowed us to survive. I am planning to complain to LG executives.

Soon after I bought the refrigerator 2 years ago, the door switch failed intermittently and the fridge lights didnt work properly, but the fridge ran OK. When the switch broke totally, I ordered a new one, but after 2 days, I noticed the fridge wasnt cooling properly. I was lucky to get a service man to install a new switch, but then I found out that the defroster fan wasnt working. And due to ice buildup on the fins, I had to unplug the fridge for 2 days so that the ice would melt. Otherwise, the fridge would break and would cost a lot to repair. I found out on the internet that one man replaced his door switch 5 times. The product engineer at LG said the switches are OK for the purpose. This seems ridiculous denial to me. The repair guy said that I would be lucky if the fridge didnt have serious problems than the switch more than twice a year and sold me a warranty in case that happens. According to consumer reports Kenmore is the most reliable brand of fridge on the market of all the bottom freezer drawer models. I am not buying it. My previous fridge had no service calls in the 20 years that I owned it. I wanted a more energy efficient model, and now I am sorry..

It freezes well and keep my food fresh. I had it for 1 year and half. I have no problems with it so far. It provides enough space for the amount food I buy. The compartments work well. It is easy to clean. I do not need a big refrigerator with all of those modern mechanisms. It is the right size for me. I live alone but I have enough room if another person was to live with me. My refrigerator is white to match the decor of my kitchen. It fits perfectly in the space designated for it. It does not take up a lot of room. The vegetable and fruit compartments work very well. My vegetable stay fresh for a long time. I can my ginger ale liters in the soda compartment. It is spacious if I wanted to buy a lot of food. The freezer is a good size for the amount of frozen food I purchase. I really feel happy with my new refrigerator. It does not make a lot of noise. For the price I paid for it I did get a better value than expected. Kenmore products are usually good quality. It is not so big but it has good features and it is modern. It is of good size if it needs to be moved anywhere. It is not too high for things that I place on top of it. The doors open well and close well.

The size is big enough so I can put all of my foods and other things in it. It keeps foods cool and refrigerated. I know it lasts a long time and will be using it for a while. It is the right shape. It runs smoothly. Prepared, spacious inside but sleek exterior ice cold water. Doesnt over freeze - regulation controls easily used. Do not get how no freezer burn on any food. Ice cold meat cookable out of the freezer. Overall nice and quiet engine.

This refrigerator has adjustable shelves, which is very important for odd shape containers. The frost free freezer is very convenient since you do not have to chip away ice. The exterior is finger proof and very easy to keep clean.

Its hard to trust a newer company when making high money purchases. Kenmore is a solid well-trusted name. They are known for quality and durability. Sometimes reputation is worth more than added bells and whistles. I like the option of switching the side the door opens on. I like the adjustable shelves and the depth of the door space. Reliable, good lighting, warning if door left ajar, leak-catch shelved. However, if there were a way to make the walls thinner while retaining the same insulation, that would increase space available. I would like pull out shelves, I would make the alarm a little louder. I might add a air filter that is changeable. It was a worthwhile purchase.

I agree that Kenmore has a good reputation for quality appliances. That is why I didnt hesitate to purchase a Kenmore Elite Grab and Go bottom freezer refrigerator for my new home. I love the features. However, if you spill something and clean the entire refrigerator (as directed in the manual) you may still develop an awful odor you just cant get out. Sears designed this refrigerator in a way the customer cant get to the drip pan. Well you can if you tilt the refrigerator which I dont think is safe.Even though your refrigerator is only a few months old and spent $3000, Sears will charge to have someone come out (there is a limited warranty). Dont get me wrong I am willing to take fault with the spill, however, I cant take fault in the design. If a customer cant access the drip pan SAFELY, how can a customer get to the root of a problem that is causing an awful odor? So again, great features inside. Just know you cant easily get to the drip pan to clean.

It does what you hope for from a refrigerator. I have yet to require any service for it. Maintains the temperature on both the freezer and fridge side with no typical fluctuations or opening to be surprised by suddenly freezer burnt items. A very reliable appliance. Fits in any standard space in I would assume most kitchens. No difficulty in installing and no need to compensate for its size in order to install. Was easily maneuvered with a dolly and I was able to do the entire install on my own. My model is black and I prefer that overall as it doesnt throw off most if not all kitchens decor for those who enjoy a flow to their rooms. I find that black melds well with even the most diverse of kitchen designs and cabinetry. As Ive said before this model is incredibly affordable and does all the basic things you need it to do. Reliable and smoothly built, this is a treat. Well rounded item by all definitions.

Met my want list and was the largest option. It had every feature that I wanted. Plus I prefer to stick with the large brand names that have been around for a long time like Kenmore. Its a trusted brand. I like external, filtered water and ice machine. Also freezer drawer on bottom and double French doors on top. It also has lots of interior refrigerator space. Loved the extra slide outs in the freezer compartment. Loved fridge and would still have it if we hadnt moved and it would have fit in the new house. Wish the stainless exterior was easier to look less smudged. Also cost of filters was way too high.

The product is very roomy and has enough storage for all of our groceries for the month. Keeps everything fresh and its top of the line! We never have any trouble keeping our veggies and fruits for an extended periods of time because the crispers keep a constant separate temperature from the rest of the fridge.

We purchased a Kenmore refrigerated 3 years ago. The compressor just took a dump. I had a Kenmore authorized service tech look at it and now I have to pay a Sears service tech to look at it just to tell me the same thing and wait even longer for a part. Never again!!! FURIOUS!!! If I could rate this a 0 star I would.

Kenmore Side by Side Refrigerator Model 106 51103 111 - I purchased this refrigerator on 6/29/12 and it was delivered to my home on 7/11/12. On Saturday, 1/14/17, it quit cooling. My service repairman came on Monday, 1/16/17 and found that the compressor was bad. This refrigerator has not even been in my home for 4-1/2 years and its shot. Sears was not willing to do anything to correct this problem saying the compressor only has a 1 year warranty. They did offer a 10% off coupon toward my next Kenmore purchase. I will never buy anything else at Sears. They sell appliances that are inferior and they dont care about their customers. That is why Sears is in trouble. They could have offered to pay 50% of the repair for a new compressor. My service repairman said I would be better off buying a new refrigerator, so I did - NOT A KENMORE!!!

I have a 2015 Sears Kenmore Elite fridge made by LG. The compressor has been gone for over 3 weeks. Sears came out to repair it but they did not have the part. Finally the part came today and the repair is suppose to take place on Monday. Sears tells me I must pay the labor. Is that true? Secondly, I loved this refrigerator so much that I bought one for our FL home. It was built in 2018 and bought in February of 2019. Are there still compressor issues with the newer models? Thirdly, my husband has tried to register for the class action suit and has had very little luck getting through the red tape. HELP!

Kenmore Refrigerators are extremely reliable. I have never had an issue with my refrigerator or any of my other Kenmore appliances. You cannot go wrong with any Kenmore appliance. No problem fitting our weekly groceries and any leftover items in the refrigerator along with luncheon items. Along with our pit hers of fresh brewed tea. We opted for a standard color refrigerator and I like the look of the Kenmore Refrigerators. They are attractive looking in our kitchen. Our Kenmore Refrigerator is a nice quality appliance for the price and in our experience Kenmore appliances have long lasting durability and reliability.

The real problem with refrigerators these days is the flimsy plastic that they are made of will break if you drop something or pull hard. The drawers are particularly fragile. Plus, in the last one I purchased, they took the egg container away.

We have had this side by side refrigerator 4 years. In that time we have had a service person out twice because the ice maker wasnt working. Now we had them out again because the freezer wasnt keeping the foods frozen. This time the compressor is faulty. Apparently the extended warranty only lasted 3 years so it is going to cost from $700-$1000 to repair. I find it unacceptable that a refrigerator would only last 4 years. Last time I buy anything Kenmore. We bought this through Sears and they were of no help either.

Kenmore refrigerator are very reliable and last long-term. The brand has a very recognizable name and it is an AMERICAN brand which is a plus. Kenmore line is also available in many store locations. They are always modernizing their brand.

Kept things frozen, must wrap food well otherwise it gets freezer burn like with any freezer. Works well, performs as expected to. Especially spacious for a lot of holding and storage. Is especially important to be spacious and this freezer has a great deal of room for food storage. Great shelving and space for staying and storing all different kinds of foods such as frozen pizza, frozen meals, frozen meats. Good value for the amount of money I had spent on this freezer.

I purchased the Kenmore Side-by-Side in July, which was then replaced twice, one because the door was out of line and the second because the dispense water button lettering was coming off. Within two months the lettering started fading again, so a repairman came out and replaced the button. He said to make sure I did not use cleaning products on it and if it happened again, to let the company know as it was then an issue because it was coming off just by people touching it. When I reported it in December, I was told this was natural wear and tear and I would be charged for the appt. Not for a $3,000 refrigerator. I insisted a repairman come out today, who again told me it is natural wear and tear. Nothing in the owners manual states this and someone in Sears today admitted it is a problem with this product. DO NOT BUY SEARS. They no longer stand behind their product.

Kenmore Refrigerator, PURE JUNK--Model # 795.76204.901. May 2013, we had to replace a fresh tray (slide-out drawer) because a part cracked and fell off. Then, a few days ago, a door tray fractured on the bottom, making it useless. Last night, my wife opened the door, obtained a milk carton from the larger door rack when it fell off, spilling all contents on the floor. One glass bottle shattered when it hit our tile floor creating a huge mess. I would advise consumers to not buy a Kenmore refrigerator. They used to be a reliable, high-quality appliance, but no more. Bet theyre manufactured in China.

We have had the refrigerator for 8 1/2 years. No problems, so we are happy with it. We have referred Kenmore refrigerator to our friends and our daughter too. The freezer works well too. I like to cook and bake enough so I can freeze leftovers. This saves lots of money. My husband loves chili so I put the extras in small plastic bowls so if he wants chili he can go to the freezer and have his chili.

Approximately Nov 10th of 2013, we noticed an RF error on the readout on our refrigerator and our food inside was all 40*. We had purchased a home warranty when we purchased the house so we called Old Republic and reported the problem. On the 12th a repairman from BJ Appliance Service came out and said he was afraid to do anything because he wasnt sure that it wasnt in the sealed part of the refrigerator which is under a ten year warranty so he would report back to Old Republic. Old Republic set up an appointment with Sears (A&E) Repair for November 19th. Since that time they have returned SEVEN times, replacing various parts each time, oftentimes more than once. Twice the repairman who was sent said that it was probably the fault of the first repairman that was sent. I insisted he did nothing but look at it. They finally agreed to a replacement because the fault was in the sealed part of the refrigerator but it took hours on the phone, seven times waiting for service and almost FOUR MONTHS without a working refrigerator. Twice customer service people told us that because we hadnt bought the warranty it was up to us to replace it. And we were also told by Old Republic that Sears and LG were arguing over who should replace it because it is really an LG product. No wonder Sears is failing - they used to stand behind things that had their name on them. And the warranty on this $2600 refrigerator was almost $400! Kenmore (even though it is LG product) and Sears - never again.

We bought this Kenmore Elite refrigerator (74093) made by LG in May 2016. In September 2017 it quit working. We have a home warranty through AHS. Their technicians have made 6 trips to our home and replaced 4 parts in the unit. It still does not work. Sears service is scheduled to come out Nov. 3, a month after we made the request. We have had to throw out $300 worth of food and still dont have a working refrigerator. The latest technician says these LG french door refrigerators have a high failure rate and he does not recommend buying one. We need either (1) to have this unit repaired permanently or (2) to have the unit replaced with a new one that does not have the same problem rate. Somebody please help!

If you buy a Kenmore Elite French door be very sure you are buying one made by Whirlpool not made by LG. If you are told it is a LG, RUN. I have a $2000 Kenmore Elite French Door bought Aug. 09, 2013 that I am junking. Had it worked on by the only local guy locally. He put on new parts and could not fix. Takes Sears home repair at least 3 weeks to come. Sears does not offer any help and could care less. Wants you to buy a warranty for $49.95 a month to cover repairs up to $500. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING LG or KENMORE ELITE.

After reporting the glass in my year old Kenmore Elite refrigerator exploded. This is a serious safety concern. Buyer beware!! The only thing they would say is warranty is up really??? This is a hazardous product to have in your home. Customer service was terrible. I have many pictures. I will no longer purchase Kenmore appliances.

I have had my fridge for about 7 years now. I LOVE it. It has an ice maker, and a water dispenser on the outside. The fridge is on the top and the freezer is on the bottom. It is a great drawer that pulls out and has 2 large baskets. It holds more than any other top freezer I have ever owned.

Good product and currently own as it keeps our food in great shape and ready to be cooked or some to be immediately served. Why would anyone not want such a good working machine? Keeps the temperature at just the right setting at all times. Does not get too cold on the freezer side and never frost bites any of our food.

My refrigerator has retained our food in a reliable way. Even with our frequent power outages, our refrigerator retains it consistent temperature. We love the side by side refrigerator with the built in water dispenser. The stainless steel finish is easy to maintain and stands up to our daily wear and tear. The size of our refrigerator has always been large enough to maintain our family of four needs. The side by side doors make it easy to reach our food and the large bottom doors keep our vegetables fresh and our deli meats and cheese fresh. Kenmore products have always been reliable and offered at a reasonable cost. We were lucky enough to find our refrigerator on sale at the time we were shopping for it.

Its black design makes it look amazing and gracious. It goes with all my pots and pans and any knick knacks I have to match. It also goes with or tiling in the kitchen and the handles on the door are nice and sturdy. Also, its very spacious in both the top and the bottom of the fridge. You have the freedom to do the shelves at any level of spacing and it still fits a lot of food and drinks. The crisper drawers keep the veggies at a perfect temp and ice maker works great. I would recommend any fridge done by Kenmore. Even growing up I lived on these refrigerators and I dont remember them falling at any level or beating any other competitors.

It always works very well - we never had a problem with it. It is small for the growing family but it works great all the time. We have never had a problem with it and it runs well. Great, never worried that we would open the door to spoiled food. The refrigerators size is a downfall with a growing family. We usually use it as a second fridge to have enough room for the familys food. Always looks great. Easy to wipe down, easy to clean soap and water. Great looking all the time. The kids can get handprints and mud dirt and grime all over and it still wipes down with paper towels easy. The price we paid for the fridge and how long weve owned it has been a tremendous value. The price at the time was a bit over what we could afford at the time but we knew it was something that would last quite some time and it has been well worth it.

I did a lot of research on refrigerators before I purchased mine. I chose Kenmore for the price and because it had a well-known reputation. I really enjoyed but the model is a side-by-side refrigerator/freezer. I also like that I can get water, regular ice, and crushed ice, from the front of the unit. I find that extremely convenient. But the freezer space is a little bit small and the icemaker takes up a lot of room. It is hard to fit in larger boxes.

Ive had it for a years with no issues. It has a dial to set the temp. It keeps everything cold and frozen in the freezer. It works great! Its a fantastic size! Not huge but definitely a good size. We have no space issues what so ever. It fits everything with no problems and we buy a lot of food. Were a family of 5! Its really just your typical fridge, nothing special. Its white, top is the freezer. Bottom is the fridge. It has 2 handles one for the fridge one for the freezer. The inside is huge - drawers a good size. It was a few years ago. But it still works great! Id say the value probably went down and its probably one of the cheaper ones out there now, since theres so many models that do so much more. This is pretty basic.

I have had my Kenmore fridge since 1992 when my home was built. In all that time the only thing that I had to replace on it was an inside light socket. Very dependable appliance and when this one finally quits running and I will buying another one.

Weve never had any problems. Easy to clean and organize. Great size for the price and very energy efficient. Both light bulbs last a long time. It is more than adequate for our needs. It is also adjustable to make the shelf space for different sized items. Its so perfect for our family. Its very basic and white. It looks like a normal refrigerator and fits in with the decor of our apartment level kitchen. The rectangular shape fits well. It was reasonably priced and does the job. It fits our budget and lifestyle well.

The performance of the refrigerator was wonderful. It was black and easy to clean. The inside was white and the shelving and drawers were nice. Also, it fit all the groceries, snacks and meats with ease. It worked and kept things cold for over ten years without any issues. The value was perfect. It was one of the best refrigerators I ever owned.

I could purchase it thru Sears Outlet for reasonable price and I could adjust temperature for maximization for freshness. I also like how the shelves were spaced for easy access and the ice maker was quiet. I like the size of the refrigerator for a single person. I liked the size of the drawers and the freezer was roomy. But I would improve on the stainless steel finish so that it does not leave smudges and drips so easily and I would also improve on the humidity feature on the drawers.

I have owned a couple of Kenmore refrigerators in my life and was very happy with the performance and design of both of them. The refrigerator before my current kitchen refrigerator was a Kenmore and a very good one. It lasted for 15 years and functionally couldve lasted a few more years I am sure, but we just wanted an upgrade and the appearance of the old one was getting pretty battered. I never had any problems with my Kenmore and probably would have gotten another one except my friend was able to get me a fantastic deal on another brand.

I trust this brand for my family and I believe that everyone else should as well. Very good customer service when needed, which is not often. My fridge is very, very reliable and I would recommend to anyone. My fridge does fit everything that I need to fit in there. The freezer portion is a little small which is my only complaint but the rest is absolutely perfect. The appearance is very modern and aesthetically pleasing. Ive gotten so many compliments and it fits into my kitchen like a glove. It looks as if it was made for my kitchen when in reality I didnt get this fridge until many years after our house was built. The value is nicely priced. I get what I paid for and I believe that an expensive fridge just reiterates the reliability and sturdiness of the machine itself.

We were finally able to purchase all new and matching appliances. We did our homework and it seemed the Sears Kenmore products were the best rated, what a mistake. As I write this we have a tech out for the second time working on the refrigerator. It doesnt make ice, now the fan started malfunctioning, now its not cool inside but there is ice collecting. At this point if I could afford it I would try and sue Sears. My dream kitchen is turning into a nightmare! Not only have we had to endure the cost of repairs we dont have a functioning refrigerator that is barely 2 years old!

Works very well also very spacious. Have had for over a decade with no issues. Runs extra super quiet and keeps food very cold. It is very spacious and roomy. The freezer has enough room to take advantage of any sale you come across. The frigerated part has enough room to do the same. Coming in either black or white it goes with any decor that you may have. It as well has a number of shelves inside. It as well has a couple crispers. I find good value in the fact that I have had it a number of years problem free. I as well find extreme value in the fact it does have enough room to allow me to take advantage of a good sale.

So the Kenmore Elite refrigerator that we purchased not so long ago is now breaking down. By breaking down I mean the ice machine part is physically breaking apart. I just found a huge piece of plastic in my glass. Please be aware if you own one!! Just imagine if the plastic was smaller...

Cracks in plastic around glass shelf, put super glue seems to be holding on one shelf. The other shelf plastic around glass come apart cant use the shelf at all. Hundred twenty five dollars for one shelf. Then I notice cracks on the inside of icebox back and sides. I never have put anything hot on the shelves to cause them to crack. My daughter bought me the refrigerator new for a Christmas present.

Ive owned a Kenmore refrigerator in my new apartment that I recently moved into. The fridge is nice, nothing has gone wrong with it yet. The freezer keeps all of the items nice and cold and I havent had any sign of freezer burn on anything. The fridge is nice, keeps everything fresh and has no smells like my old fridge. Its white in color, which looks great and also has a water and ice spout on the front, which is great for grabbing an easy glass of ice water. Very nice, and works great!
