Bought a Kenmore Elite Fridge in December 2013, when remodeling our kitchen. The compressor went last week, June 2019, and there is no 10 year warranty on Sears LG compressors. LG Canada was useless and stated even though it is their product, they are not responsible for its compressor. It’s a $3,500 fridge and we’re out the major cost of a new compressor. A class action suit in the USA gives us food for thought. Don’t buy Kenmore Appliances and especially not LG Appliances.

Its amazing. Easy to use and affordable. I recommend this refrigerator to everyone. I am very happy with it. It works fine. Not a single problem with it. Its easy to place open the fridge. Size not big and not small. Perfect for a couple and a family. 1 words for it - amazing. Appearance is great. My mom and dad and soon to be wife loves the look. My family has one and will always have this fridge. I love the color. Its price for the performance is just great and good on a budget. Its price beats whirlpool.

Kenmore Refrigerators is exceptionally good and value for money. I would recommend it for those who want quality with less bucks to spend. Its the best deal I have ever got in refrigerators. Thumbs up.

This is a great refrigerator. It kept our food perfectly cool and we had absolutely no issues while owning it. I would definitely recommend this refrigerator to anyone that was looking for a new refrigerator. This refrigerator was a perfect size for us and we could fit in all of our needed items and still have extra room left over. It was not too big or too small and we really enjoyed it. This refrigerators appearance was tall and white, like most regular refrigerators. This refrigerator was a really good value for the size, space, and functionality. It was not too expensive and it was not too cheap and the quality reflected the price fairly well.

Dependable. Reliable. Worked well for many, many years. Never had a problem with it. Was easy to clean and keep up too. Would still have it, but sold our home with our appliances. Freezer was deep enough to store at least two weeks supply of meats and frozen vegetables. The main refrigerate was very well shelved. Held a lot of drinks, condiments, lunch meats and leftovers. Standard size, top freezer, bottom main refrigerate. White in color. Easily wiped clean. Sturdy and well made. Didnt scratch easily or dent, tarnish easily. I cannot recall the exact amount that we paid. But, I do recall it was not very expensive. We got a very good deal on it. And was very satisfied that it worked so well.

We purchased a Sears Kenmore Side by Side refrigerator because the Kenmore name has always been known to be of good quality that lasts for years. Ours started leaking out the front of the ice/water dispenser about 5 years ago, even when it was turned off and unplugged. It in turn caused rust stains on the entire door underneath the dispenser. I have cleaned it off but it keeps coming back - it is not plugged in and we are no longer using it. I finally removed the square piece around the panel to find out what I could. I found out that the area around the dispenser under the plastic panel had eroded away. Now the door is ruined and pieces of it fall off if you try to put the square piece back on the panel. The refrigerator still works well, but we dont have the water hooked up to use the dispenser. Its too embarrassing when guests come over and there is rust running all down the front of the refrigerator.

Plenty of storage, never had any problems, also very easy to clean and it is also energy efficiency. Easy to move to clean behind, easy water and ice hook up with filter. Easy slide out drawers and easy open fridge and freezer doors. The fridge side is big enough to fit $120 worth of groceries and the freezer is big enough for storage of ice cream and plenty of steaks, drawers are a decent size for your vegetables and still have room for a case of beer. The appearance is very modern and will go with any kitchen style and it is also easy to keep clean. You or your family and friends will tell you its a very good looking fridge. All refrigerators are little pricey but with the looks and quality of this fridge you dont mind spending the amount you will, so if you are looking for a new fridge you will have no issues with the cost.

Crisper keeps veggies crisp, milk dont freeze, items on door stay colder, freezer has more than enough room for what i need it for and it is easy to keep clean. I can store more food and left overs in me refrigerator than most other people I know without it getting so cluttered I cant find anything. It match what I wanted instead of me matching its color. It is silent running and really easy to keep clean and it fit the space I had to put it in. It was not the highest priced one out there but has features that gave it a higher value. The finish alone was worth it to me. Overall nicely priced.

I fixed the freezer handle once, otherwise it was pretty sturdy. I find that having the fridge items on top is easier to manage, especially for taller individuals. The side-by-side takes away horizontal space. With this, I could finally store a pizza in the freezer! Horizontal space is more ideal. The fridge can store casseroles, cakes and other serving trays. The doors also hold a lot of condiments & drinks. Its a classy and sophisticated look. Although, fingerprints show easily. The handkerchief could be better offset with a matte color that doesnt show the fingerprints so much. Thats where youd see them the most. As far as the mechanics are concerned, I would definitely trust a Kenmore. The aesthetics could use a bit of finessing. Over-engineering with sensors is not necessary, but reliability and energy-saving are pluses.

We bought this 3500.00 refrigerator, and within the first 2 years that we owned it, the compressor went out. They had to replace the compressor twice, then refrigerator not cooling, was collecting ice behind the produce section, they cleared that out, freezer started doing the same thing. They ended up replacing the mother board. So far ever since they did the replacement of the 2nd compressor we have to call them out about once a month. RIDICULOUS!!!! I dont think that their service experts have any clue what they are doing. After replacing the mother board last month, September we are now at the end of October and we are having to have them out again because temp in refrigerator is too warm. I will say that the 500.00 GE refrigerator we had to purchase to keep stuff cold after our 3500.00 refrigerator broke down the first time, and they would not service for 9 DAYS.... has never had any trouble.

We purchased a Kenmore French door refrigerator from Sears, model 795.77316600, made by LG. We have had nothing but problems with it since the first day. Doors have been replaced twice. The light would not turn off the first day we owned it and melted the cover. There is now a class action law suit for this problem. Each shelf in both doors have broken pieces. The vegetable bins have been replaced twice. The main circuit board has been replaced once. The quality and reliability of this appliance is simply horrible.

Ice cubes arent great but everything else is great. I have plenty of room for everything. I like the feature to choose the shape of ice you want but the crushed isnt too crushed and the other cubes are not big enough. The size is perfect size for a family of 5 and a grocery shopping trip for a months worth of groceries. Side shelves, big drawers. Freezer also has plenty of shelving space on the side and upright. The stainless steel look really is lovely. It has a very sophisticated appearance and contemporary modern for todays trends. It gives off a chic type of vibe and is very noticeable. The pricing is just where it should be for this type of appliance. Not too cheap but also not very expensive. Its very affordable for anyone shopping for a refrigerator.

Very little maintenance, nice styling, easy to change filter, water and ice was always nice tasting and free of refrigerator odors, fit the style and decor of the kitchen and other appliances nicely. Size was great at first, eventually we got a bigger one as the family grew. Storage area was a lot bigger than it looked and we could fit quite a few items in the fridge and freezer. Nice organization too. Fit the style of the kitchen nicely. The ice and water dispenser were stylish and looked good with the other appliances. The inside was nicely organized and it was nice to have clear shelves. Very happy with the value of Kenmore products. We got a newer, bigger model but stuck with Kenmore. We have a lot of other appliances that are Kenmore and we are very happy with those as well.

Just had a tech from Sears come over after a week to order a part (circuit board). Guess what? It doesnt match anymore as new Kenmore/Whirlpool parts are not backward compatible. I was told to throw this $3K ref on the curb side and get a new one as it is unlikely repairable. I have never had refrigerator break down like this that cannot be repaired or issues with parts. Leave alone I had to pay $85 for the service call twice with no benefit.

Purchased a new side-by-side refrigerator from Sears outlet in Virginia. Fridge operated as expected with no issues. I just determined while owning it that I do not care for side-by-side.

I like Kenmore only for the plain fact that it is very popular. Also they are very sturdy appliances and last quite a long time compared to other fridges. I like that it has a drawer as a freezer. It reminds me of a box freezer or a deep freezer. I also like the door with the water and ice part. That really comes in handy because you dont have to get in it to get some ice. Its all right there. Make the fridge a little bit more roomier though so that the milk and the sodas as well as a bottle of wine can all fit on the same shelf together.

In 2014 I purchased a Kenmore refrigerator. I did not buy the extended warranty. On day 1 when moving the refrigerator in, there were two small dents. I let it go. Then I noticed within a month that the water dispenser was dripping on the finish. The black finish flaked off and rust set in. I have been sanding and painting for four years. My advice do not purchase a Kenmore side by side. No one really stands by their product unless you want to pay a lot. Its frustrating. Since Im not rolling in the bucks I will have to keep trying to figure this out.

Never had any problems. It was spacious, economical, and affordable. There was a good warranty on it and I loved the water and ice dispenser that was built into it. My first college apartment had a Kenmore fridge and even though it was part of a rental and was very old, it still worked very well. My parents also have a Kenmore and have no complaints.

My refrigerator was extremely reliable and built very well. It was very easy to clean and was extremely quiet. I would highly recommend it. We picked the smaller size refrigerator due to being on a tight budget. However, we were surprised at how much space it actually had. We were able to utilize the space given without any issues. It was a basic unit with a beige exterior. Theres not much to say other than it held up over the years and was very tough. It took some bumps without issue and stayed strong. It was an excellent value for the money. It performed excellently. It never broke down or had any mechanical or structural issues. It had enough space inside and was easy to clean.

Love the design and the size. A lot of room for all your favorite foods. Very trustworthy. Has the latest technology. Will last forever. Love how much space I has in it. Can fit a army load of food in there or at least enough to last for a very long long time. The freezer have a good bit of shape too. I love the color. It is very easy to clean and to see your own reflection like looking into a mirror. Very nice. I love it very much a lot. It is a great price for what you are buying. Has all the best features for a awesome price. And its affordable for people who dont have much money. Well worth it.

A great fridge, that is easy to clean. Never had the freezer become iced over. Only thing I would have done different is to get the fridge with the built in water and ice dispenser. But if you dont need that, then this is the fridge you want. It does everything for our family of four, but sometimes wish the freezer was a little larger to fit larger amounts of beef. But this is why we have a stand alone freezer. We like to buy half sides of beef. I love the stainless steel look of the fridge and how easy it is to clean. I will never buy another fridge that isnt stainless steel. This is the best. Beautiful. Best bang for the buck. Bigly! Best looking fridge with the best features at the best price. Number one fridge on the market in my view.

Keep food chilled in the fridge and frozen in the freezer. No unexpected problems. Ice and water maker worked. Large area of space for fruits and vegetables. Space for milk and large jugs of ice tea. Space for containers in the door like Mayo, jelly, yogurt, etc... It was a little bigger than the average sized refrigerator, but still fit nicely in my kitchen. Was easy to find a suitable place to move it if I decide to change the kitchen around. Easy to clean up and revealing its shine through each cleaning. Great finish holding up throughout Myrtle cleanings and messes. Would recommend to friends. Large freezer space with ice maker. Plenty of space by separating shelves. 2 doors compartments separate the fridge from the freezer by a split door. Quality built - well worth what you pay for the product.

White that goes with anything and easy to wipe clean. Looks good after years of use and fits well in my kitchen or anyone elses. Big enough for a large family and for holiday goodies and leftovers. Holds all I need with room to spare. Lots of shelves, plenty of pull out drawers and temp control for bins for what I need and more. Convenient freezer. Have had for 10 years with no problems or maintenance calls in that time. Worth the money for peace of mind and carefree. Would surely buy same one again.

Ive always bought Kenmore refrigerators. Their quality impressed me far more than any other brand. They have been my first choice since I started buying my own appliances. My fridge has side by side doors, which made accessing both the freezer and regular groceries much easier than a top/bottom setup. It has twenty one cubic foot capacity with the ice maker/drink dispenser in the door. However, it was a little too tall for all the space it provided for it in my kitchen. It made it difficult to clean off the top, especially since there was a storage shelf in the space above it.

I think is awesome. Is very easy to clean, thats a must. Love the water and ice dispenser, mine is lighted, and overall I have had no problems with my refrigerator. Is a very good size for my kitchen although I have a Kenmore freezer as well. Is very easy to maintain clean the outside and the inside. OH IS BEAUTIFUL. I chose this model because it goes with all the other equipment that I have in my kitchen. It has a freezer light, not all refrigerators have one. The price was excellent. I got an insurance for the refrigerator, but I have not have to use it. There is no rust anywhere.

Condensation water keeps leaking from the bottom to floor, causing water damage. After cleaning the whole fridge the leakage issue will appear again in one week. Should have a built in water pan. Horrible design!

I chose and always use Kenmore because it has always worked for me for a really long time and has always met my standard. Its very reliable and I love how big and spacious it is. But the thing I disliked about it was that the freezer and the bottoms drawers are kinda small. Could have been a little bigger. And I wish there were more colors to choose from. Other than that, its the best refrigerator brand Ive ever owned.

The Kenmore Refrigerator was quality. It always kept things cold and frozen and never really gave much trouble. Ice maker was a plus once I hooked it up. Its too costly to have tech to do it. But the biggest issue was the door shelves and shelves within the refrigerator itself, they werent put together very well and were held up by plastic tool notches that slipped out too often and made a mess when they did. The door shelves need improvements, both in strength of the shelf itself but definitely in the way they are connected to hold weight. Nevertheless, the Kenmore Refrigerator has met my expectations.

Purchased my Kenmore French Door Bottom Freezer February 2013. Had issues right from the start. The ice maker didnt work but there was a thick layer of ice in the bottom of the freezer. Turns the tubing for the icemaker was incorrectly installed. In 2016 the ice maker worked but didnt dispense the ice. Had to have a technician fix that. Now in February 2017 I discovered the back of the refrigerator is rusted through and there is a hunk of ice on the back of the refrigerator. I purchased an extended warranty after the ice maker incident but Im now told that the fine print in the contract states that issues caused by rust are not covered. This refrigerator is only 4 years old. Ive had other refrigerators that have lasted me 20 yrs. Will NOT be buying another Kenmore!

We had another problem back in November of 2012 with this Kenmore Elite and since they did not have the part needed for this repair the refrigerator was replaced with a new one by Sears at no charge. We were given an amount equal to the purchase price of the 2003 model to buy any refrigerator at Sears. Due to a sale on Black Friday we were able to get a very nice replacement at no additional cost. The Service Smart Protection Agreement we purchased helped to make this possible. Needless to say, we are very pleased with Sears and their protection plans.

If you buy a Kenmore Elite French door be very sure you are buying one made by Whirlpool not made by LG. If you are told it is a LG, RUN. I have a $2000 Kenmore Elite French Door bought Aug. 09, 2013 that I am junking. Had it worked on by the only local guy locally. He put on new parts and could not fix. Takes Sears home repair at least 3 weeks to come. Sears does not offer any help and could care less. Wants you to buy a warranty for $49.95 a month to cover repairs up to $500. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING LG or KENMORE ELITE.

The freezer storage drawers really need to be redesigned... Or the hardware that holds them must be redesigned. Either way, the first drawer from the bottom cant be used. The size was fine for our family of four. Any bigger would have been unnecessary. However, it would have been nice if the water dispenser was higher for bigger glasses. The appearance was fine, as we needed stainless steel to match the other appliances. However, it never really looked clean... Very streaky. The value was good for that specific appliance. If we wanted the fancier Viking or Wolf, it wouldnt have worked with our budget. Kenmore offered the same as Whirlpool or Maytag which cost more.

Has worked very well for the 5 years Ive owned it. Very durable. Ive never had to replace any parts. I have not adjusted the temperature settings. I havent needed to. Overall works great. It can hold a good amount of food. The drawers really come in handy. I can fit a full grocery trips worth. The shelves are nice and sturdy. I love it. Easy to clean. Can wipe down with a rag. Very clean look. I like that there is a cover for the vent. Matches everything in my kitchen perfectly. Does not stain. Very affordable trusted brand. There are several options for repair needs. You definitely get your moneys worth. This brand is available just about everywhere. I got mine at Sears. I love it.

Very happy of its design. It fit our kitchen space very well. The freezer was the winner. We used to store lots of food. It was problem free until we moved. We used it for 5 years. It fits your familys needs. I am very happy with the freezer space and the door space. Holds lots of bottles which is easily accessible. Lovely. Stylish, fits my kitchen deco very well. Since we have all appliances in black and silver it fit in very well. It was not reachable for my hopping toddler, which made things hassle free. We bought it for around 1200 dollars and do not regret it. We got a good resale price when we moved since it was in good condition. Its a bit pricey but completely worth it. I would recommend it over other brands any day.

Great storage space. I love how there are so many different compartments for eggs and dairy and stuff. The freezer has lots of room and is easily accessible. The size is great. We didnt want a huge fridge so this fits nicely in our kitchen but still has the space we need. Again, the different compartments are very convenient. The appearance is very sleek. It fits in well with our kitchen and doesnt stick out or is an eyesore. We like to keep our fridge clean of magnets and stuff so it really blends in with our other appliances. The best value on the market. A lot of other fridges were much more expensive without a lot of the benefits of this fridge. For its cost, it outperforms other fridges that weve had. We love it and would purchase again. But hopefully no need.

The ice maker water line from my Kenmore refrigerator 7425, unknown to me, had a crimp in it when installed and after 4 years developed a small hole. The water leaked under my kitchen cabinets, causing thousands of dollars in replacement costs. At the outset of the leak, there was no visible evidence since the water spread out toward the back of the cabinets. According to my plumber, the crimp was there when the refrigerator was new and installed that way. This refrigerator was rated highly by Consumer Reports and might be a good refrigerator if it wasnt for the shoddy parts and attention from installers.

Bought this item in 2016 with French doors and bottom freezer door with go door on right side. Price was $2500 and the compressor just died Easter Sunday with fridge full of food. Tech knew what the problem was when he saw it was the elite. Will take a week to get the compressor and he has already warned me that this is the beginning of the end. Once the compressor is replaced these have a history of going south from there. Only saving grace is I bought the extended warranty. Do a little research and you will hear this same story over and over again. Do not buy these.

Bought our refrig off sales floor at reduced cost Sears store. There were no visible signs that it was bumped or bruised, but it was a good deal and has met our needs. It has a side by side design so that the freezer section is easy to access and readily see its contents.

I have had this refrigerator for over ten years and it still seems like brand new! I can’t imagine any other. It holds a great deal of food and keeps everything so fresh. I love it so much. I wouldn’t trade this one for a newer model at all. It is smudge resistant and has no dents even though I have moved. The freezer also keeps everything perfect also. Sears doesn’t make them like this anymore so solid and quiet too.

Poorly made, does not stand up to everyday use. I didnt have this refrigerator long before the ice crusher mode went out, shelf cracked that holds the deli drawer, door shelf that holds milk broke, and now the ice maker is leaking. What else is going to happen before it goes out. I am going back to my Amana. No more kenmores for me.

In July and September my refrigerator was repaired because it wasnt maintaining proper temperatures. Right now (6 Nov) I cannot get the freezer to get below 10 degrees. It is so painful to take everything out of the refrigerator.

Our Kenmore Refrigerator has lots of space for food and compartments for different genres of food and keeps everything fresh and opened at a good length externally but also internally. It is a good size for my kitchen and was perfectly placed in a good spot and fit well. It is a great match for the colors in kitchen. Fridges usually dont come in that many colors but while white was not my favorite selection it was the cheaper choice. White is sort of dated and tends to look a little cheaper than a silver or black but besides that it matched everything in kitchen and went well with vibe for most part. I never had a problem with the fridge section or freezer section to the point where I had to call service or return it. It worked well. I think I got what I paid for.

I purchased this in 2007 and in the last couple of months, the freezer has stopped working properly. I called Sears. Repairman came out and said I need compressor. While he was here, he checked it and claimed to find a bent fan or something that should have been blowing on compressor. He said he corrected that and that freezer should be cooling better within 24 hours. $72 wasted. You guessed it. Freezer went downhill, followed by refrigerator which was working properly. About a year ago I went through lighting problem and had outside vendor replace digital display unit. I did not know it was a major consumer issue. I am now looking at refrigerators and dont know which way to go. I went out and bought a big cooler.

One refrigerator was on recall, but we knew nothing about it. Even the service man said he was unaware of the recall. It took months to have it repaired. We moved and bought a new refrigerator. Our new fridge had problems with icing up in the bottom freezer. We took care of that problem and now months later it will not keep anything cool in the main part of the fridge. The fridge is 2 years old. Very frustrating. Model number 596 699 52011.

I bought a Kenmore refrigerator freezer on bottom. About a year after I bought it, a few months past warranty it starts leaking on my new floor. After troubleshooting everything, I google it, bad drainage, complaints since 2005 on this. There is no recall! Sears keeps selling this crap, I had my old side by side GE for almost 25 years, so excited to buy a new one, and its leaking after a year. I will never buy another thing from sears, they want to charge me 100$ to asset it and more to fix it. Guess thats how they make their money. I hate my new fridge because Sears made a piece of crap appliance, and wont stand by any of their products.

The refrigerator is a very high quality product and its very useful as well. I really enjoyed my product and still using it. The size is very big and room and its enough space to put everything you need to put in it and I will buy it again. I will also recommend this to anyone that is willing to buy one. Very nice looking and very beautiful color as well. I would let this be my first choice before I look for anything else and just bought my mom one. It has a very great value to it and I also believe that the values never goes down on this product. Anyone will love it and I will always own this product as well.

It is a great appliance! I have had a great experience with it so far. I think that everyone should get a Kenmore appliance. It is the perfect size for me! I have a big family so it is important to me that I have a big fridge that is going to fit everyone that we all need. I love having my Kenmore fridge. Both of the compartments allowed enough space for many food items and the freezer compartment had enough space for many different sizes of frozen food items. Temperature was consistent in both the refrigerator and freezer compartments. The refrigerator was the perfect size to hold enough food for the entire family. The appliance fit in very nicely with the decor and ambience of our family kitchen. The color blended just beautifully with all the other appliances in the family kitchen. I would rate the value of this appliance very high. It exceeded the manufacturers requirements and helped to lower the amount of wasted food from spoilage. It saved a lot of money.

We bought a Kenmore refrigerator 2.5 years ago. Last week the freezer completely thawed. Took a week for the Sears repairman to come out to diagnose the problem. We have a Freon leak, which is $1000 to fix. Was told it’s LG made and have problems like this all the time. Called customer care and it directs you to schedule a repair. Horrible service and no one stands behind their work. So now we have a refrigerator that doesn’t keep cool, and have to buy another.

Keeps foods and beverages cold and refreshing. I would recommend this brand and model to everyone. One of the top retailers in the industry. With durability and pricing in hand, I couldnt turn it down compared to other manufacturers. It is compact enough to fit all of my food and beverages, and not enough to take up a lot of kitchen space. I like that the trays are adjustable and can compensate for a lot of different types of groceries. The appearance is something that is great to show off to guests and company. I like that the outer appearance is coated with stainless steel painted over with extra durable acrylic paint. The value of the refrigerator is something that has exceeded my expectations greatly. I didnt expect my refrigerator to last as long as it has now, but it hasnt shown one sign of breaking down, or even needing maintenance.

Kept things cool as it was supposed to. Sometimes had trouble but I could adjust it. Worked fine, just a little small! I ran out of room a lot. There were only 2 people in the house at the time, but we often hosted big dinners and I made a lot of food, and thats when the fridge was too small. Not enough space for leftovers either. Freezer too small for our needs. Easy to keep clean, matched the decor, looked fine. We had a stainless steel fridge after this one and that was a lot harder to keep clean. This white color worked well and was a lot less maintenance. I didnt buy this fridge so Im not sure what the cost was but I imagine for price and performance, it is a good value. It does the job and fits (size and maintenance).

My girlfriend always wanted a Kenmore refrigerator and it was tax time. We had a great deal and was going to get the one that had the see through front but decided on the one we got. I have always been told that they were a very dependable brand. I like that it was strong, looked like steel, had lots of capacity and had the freezer at the bottom. Im just getting used to the freezer being switched around. However, the fridge dented my pocketbook.

I liked the fact that the Kenmore Refrigerator had rollout trays and that the bins were clear. I also liked the shelves on this model. The light inside was nice. It was more clear and brighter than the other models. However, one of the things that I didnt like was that the doors are hard to keep open. Nevertheless, I chose the Kenmore Refrigerator due to the overall appearance of the brand versus the other brands and the price was enticing as well. I also liked the fact that it was the color that I wanted, stainless steel.

My landlord chose to buy the Kenmore refrigerator. It was better than expected and I would more than likely purchase another one in the future. I might just change it to a style with the freezer on the bottom or just purchase a separate stand-alone freezer. The size was perfect for our family. The spill-proof glass and gallon doors were a plus. We also liked the ability to control various parts of the refrigerator. This allowed our food to stay fresher longer. Moving the shelves around was also helpful. However, the freezer was not as wide as I would have liked. Especially with larger items like a turkey that just wont fit in the freezer. I dont think there is anything you can to do fix that without taking room from the refrigerator side of the unit. Given the option, Ill take the more refrigerator space.

Useful and good. Closes by itself and keeps food in good shape. Love it too and glass shelves and easy to clean and close the door by itself and put together. No smell after cleaning.

I had a Kenmore refrigerator in my first apartment. It was old but ran like a champ. I strongly recommend it to anyone who is interested or planning to purchase a refrigerator. They are worth the price & will run forever.

Our two year old Kenmore refrigerator/freezer is inexplicably not working. We came home from work and threw out hundreds of dollars of wasted food. Looking to correct the issue, we set up an appointment and the technician was set to come between 1pm-5pm. We called customer service several times to get an accurate time as it was nearing 5. No show. The customer service was awful. They were very unhelpful and “had no way to find out when the technician would be there and he would be there in his very reasonable time frame”. He did not come in his anything other than reasonable time frame. We were told we will need to reschedule for the following day because missing out on income and waiting for four hours is easy to do...again. So very disappointed in Sears and their lack of customer courtesy, the fact that there is no accountability in standing behind their products, and their complete disregard for dealing with issues. It was difficult at best to contact and talk to anyone and when we did, we were met with even more inconvenience and extremely poor customer service. I would also have to say I’m disappointed in Kenmore as well. I expected something just shy of $3,000 to work longer than two years. Although I hope it’s a simple fix, it’s really hard to tell since we can’t get someone from Sears here to fix it. Yet they want to make sure we pay for their service in full...I will never shop Sears or Kenmore again. Not surprised that Sears can’t keep their stores open. Very sad considering in the past it was such a reputable place to shop.

It was a very good refrigerator. It always outdid all the rest. Never had a problem with it. Never had to have it serviced. It was gold and went with my kitchen very well. I had it for over 5 years. Still works as good as the day I got it. It is the only. Brand I buy. My wife loves it and cant give it up. Its gone through 3 kids and a dog. Still looks great. If you need a refrigerator I would recommend Kenmore. They last forever.

We bought a Kenmore side by side fridge with the outside of the door features for $1,100.00. We didnt purchase insurance figuring it was going to last us a while and to keep the purchase price down. Guess what? For $1,100.00, that piece of crap lasted us a whole 3 friggin years - a purchase you would expect to last AT LEAST 8-10 years!! We had to spend another $900.00 three years later (and for a comparable GE Hotpoint). (Junky Kenmore model was #106.51252104.) BOTH fridge and freezer crapped out - we had to throw out all our food, so $1,100.00 AND a fortune in food was lost. BUYER BEWARE!!! (Oh, and our Kenmore front loader washer lasted us a whole five years - and we dont even have any kids!) We have given up on ANY Kenmore appliances!

Kenmore has been great. The fridge has worked the way that its supposed to. The settings are great and really easy to use so that makes it very convenient and easy on the bills. Also the electric bill has been stable since it is an energy saver also.

I have owned other appliances from other companies and would have issues after just a few months of owning the product. The biggest issue with other appliances that we have had is that it will stop cooling and our food would be ruined. As a mother of twins and a teenage daughter, this is a really big deal for us. We switched and since then, its been great. I dont have to worry about coming home to find that everything is ruined.We could use a bigger fridge since we are a large family but I think as long as we dont have to worry about our food being ruined, we are perfectly content. We have the typical type fridge. Freezer on top and fridge on the bottom... very similar to the fridges that our parents used as we were growing up just newer. We are not rich at all. We have twins and teens and that is enough to break the bank. We were very limited on how much we could spend on appliances. Considering we have gotten ours at a very affordable price and no issues, its priceless.

I love Kenmore appliances. The color and the space inside. Shelf are adjustable and allows for plenty of storage space. The drawers and produce crisper are plenty roomy. Good not as for a better working kitchen appliances. Roomy functionality. Shelves and drawers are roomy and functional. Plenty of door space for milk juices and condiments. The Kenmore refrigerator is a beautiful smooth finish. A beautiful creamy color that I preferred to match my kitchen. A part of the decor not an elephant in a China shop out of place and huge. A Kenmore refrigerator is an excellent value. Economical running and keeping cold and freezer is wonderful.

I bought this Kenmore Elite refrigerator in 11/15 and its first service call was 5/17, barely 18 months later. The Freon needed to be replaced due to a faulty valve (which will recur in about 2 years due to a design problem) -- that cost $400. Six weeks later, the food was not being kept cold and now Im told the compressor needs to be replaced! And the warranty covers the parts, but, of course, not the labor. Save yourself time and money -- DO NOT BUY KENMORE ANYTHING ANYMORE! This used to be a trusted name in appliances, but no more. The washer I bought 9 months ago doesnt get clothes clean (another review).

Never had any issues. Never had to have it repaired. Ran for several years. They have numerous models and colors to choose from. Ours was an older one, it was a side by side and it was an egg shell color.

It was a great fridge. Having the bottom freezer drawer was the best feature. It wasnt a ton of room, but access was easy and very convenient. The price is okay, if a little high, but they run sales during the holidays sometimes. Would buy again. Not the greatest amount of room in the freezer. There was more space in the fridge section to make up for it. Ice in the freezer bottom was convenient and roomy. The look was totally a selling point. The finish resisted a lot of fingerprints, and helped the fridge look neat. It was easy to keep clean. I liked the look. The fridge was a little on the high side (we didnt purchase during a sale). I would say it was worth it if you get to keep it for long enough. The price could come down a little. Would like to see it lower.

I like my refrigerator from Kenmore. It has been a good thing for my family. I like the fact that it dispenses ice and water that are filtered and safe for me and my family. The refrigerator I owned in the past would always shut itself off, therefore spoiling all my food and causing a huge mess. With all the technology that lemme provides I dont have to worry about my money going to waste.

I have been a loyal Kenmore customer for over 20 yrs. Still have Kenmore stand alone freezer working well for 20 yrs and an 11 year old Kenmore refridge which is now an extra. We replaced appliances and went with the Kenmore Elite French Door Bottom Freezer, Model starting with 795. Within 1 month the water filter was bad and not dispensing water. Per tech, they said to replace the filter. I did that however the 2nd filter did the same thing within about 2-3 weeks. We have no water issue! Obviously we dont want to replace expensive filters for the rest of our lives every month. They replaced the head within the filter compartment but that didnt help. Both technicians said it is a common and known issue with the fridge. Bad design of the filter.Sears now will not replace the refridge and want a tech to come out again to validate that it cant be fixed, and then maybe they will exchange or replace refridge. It works fine without a filter using the bypass dummy filter. We specifically went with this for the Active Stainless finish which means if we wanted to stay with that, then it would be the same underlying mfg brand and design. Extremely disappointed they put this product out for the money spent. They will lose a long-time customer for life if this isnt resolved to my satisfaction. Dont buy!

I absolutely HATE our fridge. It is impossible to clean because Kenmore uses cheap coated metal and calls it stainless steel. It is NOT! And if you get a scratch in it, youre screwed, unlike genuine stainless where you can buff it out with a kit. I know this to be true because the other stainless steel appliances we have in our kitchen are a breeze to clean. Unless you have nothing better to do with half your day, you do not want to waste it trying to clean this behemoth!

We purchased all of our appliance for our new home and have had nothing but problems with the icemaker in our Kenmore Elite fridge since the beginning. The ice maker either freezes all the ice together, wont dispense or wont make ice. My husband works on appliances for a living and has had to repair this problem several times. Now, it wont even dispense at all. We had to replace the main board a few months ago also. My parents bought the same fridge as ours right after we did and have had the same problems. And this last year, our friends bought the newer version of the same fridge and are also having the same problem. I know we are out of warranty, but we are very unhappy with this product!

Kenmore use to have reliable products. No more. I bought a Kenmore fridge from Bel Air, MD Sears in Jan 2017 but did not buy a policy because Kenmore had a good reputation. After only 12 months and 20 days, it broke down. Repairman said the refrigerant was leaking and required the evaporator, tubing and the compressor replaced. Total cost, $800. Talked to the Sears people in Bel Air, MD and they wouldnt do anything. We will never darken Sears doors or buy Kenmore products anymore.

It was a wonderful refrigerator. I had it for 26 years and never had a problem with it. It was the best refrigerator I ever owned. It served me very well. I loved that refrigerator and was quite upset when it quit working. I tried to get it repaired but it was beyond that.

I trust your company and will always choose this brand of refrigerator. Long lasting and nice to look at. Never buy anything else. Easy to clean as well. My refrigerator fits perfectly in the spot designed for it. It holds all of my groceries for a month without any problems. I also enjoy the crisper for my vegetables. I love the white color and it cleans very well. The next one I buy will be stainless steel bowl. My children still so does all the time and it wakes up easily. We got big bang for our buck. Never ever had a problem out of our performance. It works just like it did the first day we brought it home.

I love the volume, size, style and everything about the refrigerator. My mother has one too. With everything inside I love it. It has perfect size. I could move it around. I love it if its gray in my kitchen but it fit everything in there pretty. Its pretty cool appliance. It does the water, does good ice. Has a lot of space inside of the fridge and freezer, out of the freezer. I got it cheap too. Its pretty good deal and value. I would recommend this to everybody. You’ll love it.

Great product that you can trust. Never had to replace anything on it and still works like the day we got it. Have had the refrigerator for at least ten years and still goes strong. A little worn from the years but works great.

Ever since got this fridge it has been too small, metal shelves bend with weight too easily, runs noisily, and in general cheaply built. Can not wait for this crib to die so can get another brand. This used to be a good brand but guess not anymore.

Kenmore Elite Trio Model #795.77543600 Manufactured 2007 Freezer Broken with Error code ER FF = freezer fan not running!! This means you will lose all food in the fridge and freezer within 24 hours!! My husband, aircraft mechanic, dismantled the fan (behind a freezer back panel inside, quite difficult). The new fan gave us same error code and we tested old fan at this point which was still functioning, just Not in the freezer, which meant the motherboard control panel is burnt. Motherboard to be replaced tomorrow. I have since finding our issue and error code read multiple complaints on this refrigerators very poor freezer design and function. Sears has not been helpful to compensate as it is past its warranty. Does anyone remember when major appliances lasted 20+ years?!!

Purchased a Sears Kenmore refrigerator for $1300.00 and the gasket on fridge door and freezer door is faulty after 4 years. Cracked and pulled away from all 4 corners on freezer door and fridge door. I paid 300.00 for the extra warranty and it has expired 4 mos prior to my complaint. Service on the phone is 0, no call backs. Told me to purchase another warranty $. In the past I have purchased a number of LG Sears Kenmore appliances and had 100% good experience. The gasket is split-torn away and I can see the foam inner of the doors. Just install a new gasket or lose me forever as a customer.

I would give this negative stars if I could. We bought a Kenmore Elite Refrigerator with bottom freezer in September 2016. It totally stopped working on June 23, 2017 (8 months later). The earliest appointment they could give us was the following Friday, June 30th. Repairman thinks that it may be the compressor but cant get the parts until 7/21. We told him that was unacceptable and he was then able to find the parts and scheduled to return on 7/7. Just got a call from Sears saying that the parts are on back-order and the earliest they could schedule service is on 7/24. I told them that I wanted a new refrigerator instead and was told that they could not replace it unless a repairman deemed it unfix-able. I told them to send a repairman to verify that it was unfix-able because as far as I am concerned, if they dont have the parts to fix it, then it is unfix-able. Of course I was then told that they wont send anyone until the parts come in. So now we are without a refrigerator until July 24th and who knows if he can even fix it when he comes. Over a month without a refrigerator is totally unacceptable. They do not seem to care either, but they will care when they are out of a job. Thank God that I didnt purchase the extra service plan - I am sure that is just as useless as their warranty. No wonder they are closing Sears stores everywhere - it is disgraceful how they handle business and treat customers. Thankfully, my local Sears will be closing its doors soon, too bad they didnt before I bought my refrigerator. I wish that I had read the reviews prior to purchasing. I will never buy another thing from them again.

The refrigerator performs well and is very easy to maintain. The issue I have is that it is too small for my needs but I cannot get a bigger one due to the space I have to place it. At some point I expect that will change and I will get a larger model with more features... I tend to keep a lot of condiments and require more space in order to keep other item. Also space would be more advantageous since I prepare large meals in advance. I have had to cut down on size and frequency in this regard. But again my issue is a spatial issue. The unit is not unattractive but does lack, shall I say, curb appeal. It would be nice owning a unit that looks exciting or affluent but this is not achievable at this time. I feel I got exactly what I paid for. A functional refrigerator that does its job, affords the necessary space that the average person would need with little extra space for those extra things.

The product is amazing. I bought the freezer over 10 years and is still effectively working so good. I order it and it came very well. It was easy to setup and I was amaze how wonderful it was. The two side of the freezer was great. Keep my foods from spoiling and helps me a lot.

I’ve had my mini refrigerator with freezer for 18 years now. And the only thing that broke on it was the thermostat switch broke. This refrigerator was and to me still the best interiorly designed mini fridge and freezer ever made. It’s getting so old now, that’s why I’ve decided to by a second one for the 3 time in 18 years. Just to have in the basement, but they all suck in design and they really do not last long at all????! But the one in my room just keeps on fighting like a muscle car???? Kenmore please bring back the old mini interior design and quality... Please!

I bought my Kenmore Refrigerator a while back and it is still in good shape. When I bought it, I didnt want to spend a lot and so I chose this one. The fridge is white and while I am not really picky with colors, you will be able to notice the dirtiness quickly if you tend to spill things. Also, we are a family of 6 so we tend to buy a lot. The normal side where you put eggs and milk is okay. The space is big and you can put a lot of things there. But, I believe the freezer side is too small. Nevertheless, everything we buy fits.

It was a great fridge. Kept up on making ice even when it was so hot and humid outside. Always kept beer or soda cold and not just cold but just the right coldness. Kept our fruit and veggie good for a long time. It seemed longer than our old fridge one did. We are a big family of 6 with 3 boys one girl so we would do most of the shopping one time a month besides odds and ends and it would hold 400-500 of meat and everything else as well. It was a basic look fridge with the freezer on top, the ice box on bottom. It looked good next to our white walls. We got it from my mother when we first moved out to the state we live in. We had it for 3 years and then when we moved we updated to a bigger one and sold that one for 100 bucks.

I like it pretty well, except the ice only comes out crushed on either setting, not sure why this happens. Its cold and reliable though. It is good sized and has plenty of room in the refrigerator and freezer for all of your needs. I think next time I would like a little bit bigger freezer though. I like how it looks and it cleans up really well and matches the kitchen. Sometimes the grate on the bottom is hard to get off and clean and snap back in though. Overall its not too bad. I wish the ice machine would still make cubes though. It didnt last very long. Also the water comes out really slow.

Kenmore Coldspot Model # 106-62152110 - I have had Kenmore appliances all my life and never have I had one go belly up in less than 3 years, most lasted 20 years or more. We bought a side by side, a stand up freezer and an extra refrigerator for our pantry, which was the last one we bought and it was 11/11. About 2 months ago it began not cooling right and had to be turned up and even then the freezer was not freezing. Ice cream was like milk and things in the refrigerator spoiled. We live out of town, 40 miles to Costco, so like to avoid that trip by having this extra appliance. It took them two weeks to get a repairman then he said it could take up to 3 or more weeks to repair as it was a major coolant leak and may not be cost effective. Since the warranty had passed I was pretty much told too bad, so sad. This is not a Wal-Mart coffee maker or curling iron. Since when can you not expect a refrigerator to last more than 2.5 years? In talking to the Solutions dept I was told they have no phone # for the corporate office and I had no other place to turn. What a joke. Sears has turned in to another corporate bully.

We have loved our fridge/freezer. Makes ice quickly and crushes nicely. We have little ones and having the lock button on the water and ice dispenser is a nice feature. There is plenty of space for everything. Would recommend. The size is very nice. We are able to fit an entire pizza box inside the fridge which is really nice. The drawers hold a lot and the storage in the door adds a lot of extra space. The appearance of the fridge is beautiful. Doesnt smudge too easily. It has a sleek design and goes with any decor. The handles are perfectly placed and look great! The fridge is a great value for the money. We did a bit of shopping around and researching before making our decision. This fridge was a great buy.

The Kenmore side by side refrigerator-freezer is the worst product I have ever purchased. After two years, the ice maker had to be replaced. Now at four years, the sensor for the self-defrost mechanism had to be replaced. This self-defrost unit cost $2,600+, and it is not worth the money. I would not recommend it to anyone.

Its a simple yet effective fridge. I use it in my basement as a second fridge when my main one is full and need extra room. This is a big life saver for me. For the basement, its the right size. It can also be used in a small apartment, small business kitchen, garage or whenever you need a fridge and space is limited. Its a simple appearance. Its not ugly but its nothing special, either. If I ever feel creative, I would get magnets for it to spice it up a bit and have fun. It fits into my budget really well since I was only going to put it in the basement as a second fridge and wasnt looking for anything fancy, just a good working fridge.

Water and ice dispenser works great and is energy efficient. I would definitely suggest this refrigerator to anybody. I have been very pleased with it since day one. I love this unit but I do wish that it was a little bit bigger. It has plenty of space but when you have kids more is better. All in all the size is very suitable for my needs. I love the look of this unit but I do have trouble keeping it clean and clearing fingerprints due to it being stainless steel. This can be a job when you have children though. The cost of this unit is extremely low when thinking about performance and functionality. I have had many refrigerator and I have always had issues with all of them except this one.

Last summer my electric company was promoting upgrading older but running refrigerator with a new energy-efficient and paid $50 to customers who did so. My old refrigerator was already 20 year old but working just fine. I used the false logic that at 20 years old it makes sense to upgrade before old-dependable wore out. (Never needed service in 20 yrs!) Bought a new Kenmore 18 cu ft model from my local Sears store Aug 2016. Six months later it stops working. I find all the food inside is warm and frozen foods completely thawed. Sears repairman came out and quickly diagnosed the problem, states it is common for these units to leak out all the refrigerant. Asks if it is under 30 days old because Sears will just give me a new one but if over 30 days I must let them repair it. Compressor burnt out in less than 1 yr! I should have never gotten rid of my old refrigerator. Sears just lost another loyal customer; all of our appliance purchases has always been Kenmore.

I have recently replaced my Kenmore refrigerator. Not because I didnt absolutely love it, it just didnt fit into my new home. It was an amazing product and gave me many years of perfect service in my previous home. I will be purchasing a Kenmore again the future.

It hasnt given us any real problems over its lifespan other than it makes a very loud thumping sound when shutting off. It still runs perfectly though. It is definitely big enough for a regular sized family of 3 or 4 people. The only time there isnt enough room is when we are hosting a gathering. It has a very basic appearance and is white in color. I wouldnt say theres anything special about the appearance but that isnt why we bought this model. It is more of a bargain refrigerator so I think its a great value. I want to say it was around $1000? No repair bills of any kind so we cant complain.

Bought a Kenmore Refrig in 3/2011. Every year the refrig goes out multiple times and the tech comes and fixes it. This year 2014 a Sears Tech has been to my home 8 times to repair the refrig - last time was August 2014. Today is 10/15/2014 and my refrig went out again last night - called Sears and was informed no available tech until 10/28/2014. Can someone up me! I have lost over a $1000.00 worth of food this year.

My review is to help others. In December of 2014 we bought a new KENMORE ELITE AT SEARS, and in the second month we had to call assistance to see the refrigerator, was freezing the vegetables, and they change a huge chip, very expensive covered by the warranty, and then now 5 years after purchase the refrigerator suddenly failed the compressor. Making some researching we just discovery all refrigerator from KENMORE AND LG NO LONGER LAST MORE THAN 5 YEARS. Compressor are bad. So make your decision. Sears said they can give me another compressor but the technician fee and compressor labor replacement will cost almost $ 800,00. Its better buy another refrigerator for this price, and get a new branch and new refrigerator. I dont think is fair to have a kenmore at my house paying almost $ 3000.00 and another $ 800 just to have a refrigerator only 5 years.

In Dec 2015 purchased a Kenmore Elite refrigerator. A big stainless steel shiny one. It ran for almost five years. We have now had three compressors fail. The new ones and also had the software updated. Ther repair person just left saying our refrigerator is not repairable due to a Freon leak in the body of the refrigerator.We joined with thousands of LG customers in the National class action lawsuit. I am still within the five year warranty period and will petition for a replacement. Each time a refrigerator fails hundreds of dollars of groceries are lost. My opinion is that retail stores are complicit with LG for selling a product made to fail. This should be considered fraud. Retail store owners have to be aware and should also be held accountable for the damage to consumers. We should not be importing these products from Samsung. Reading the hundreds of reviews shows that LG is not responding in good faith and are still allowed to fraudulently lie about their product to harm people.

Would like increased freezer space; interior light in refrigerator is too dim; shelves in refrigerator, though reasonably deep, or not quite high enough. We chose to purchase Kenmore both because of its highly recommended status in the appliance world in general and because of Sears, where we actually bought the refrigerator. Overall, we have been quite satisfied with the refrigerator/freezer.

The Kenmore refrigerator is a pretty good appliance to have in our house. It keeps our food really fresh, the food doesnt lose its taste. We save a lot of money because the food lasts longer than it would have with my old refrigerator. My bill is also lower, I noticed ever since the Kenmore fridge has been in use. I find the fridges temperature setting easy to use.

I love this fridge because it is large and roomy and Kenmore is a very trustworthy brand. Love this brand and I would recommend to anyone. It is quite large but not so big it becomes awkward and bulky. It is the perfect size for a family of 6 people and I am happy to recommend it. It is a white and modernized for a modern or a traditional family. It is very much an awesome thing. Great stuff everyone. I think the frost proofing is a feature that most people really cannot live without. Everyone thinks they can do without it but it really comes in handy.

The model that I owned was very basic. It did not even make ice. I was in college and trying to save money. The little white refrigerator lasted about 15 years prior to my giving it up for a more updated model that makes ice and has indoor water. The refrigerator (Kenmore) was a great product. It lasted and endured several moves in the back of a pickup truck. I would not hesitate to recommend this brand. I did not purchase another Kenmore this last go around, but would not hesitate in the future if the specifications and price was right.

Has good style, does his work in the best accepted way, ever present problems when cool and keep food fresh, its energy consumption is not high, so the bill will not get very costly. You could say that is rather heavy, its design is spectacular, but mobilize around the house is usually relatively simple, but it takes two people. As mentioned above, is finished at the edges and around the front of the fridge with good design, good handling, really is spectacular, personally chose between several models of the same brand and there is no doubt that chose the best choice. The relationship between cost and benefit can say it was successful, not much money for purchasing the product payment, and we believe the behavior of the device has fallen short of expectations.
