In the winter of 2014 I bought the Kenmore 795.5131 model side-by-side refrigerator during a sale from Sears. In the spring of 2015 the ice machine stopped working. I did not buy more than a 1 year protection plan and am quite annoyed that I had to pay over $200 to have it replaced. The repairman who I have had used for over a decade told me that this brand of Kenmore uses LG parts who are mostly made of plastic. My intent is to let others and Sears manufacturers know that by buying one they may be in the same boat.

My Kenmore was an excellent refrigerator and provided me with many years of good service. I never had to call upon a service repairman at all for any kind of issue or problem. I used this refrigerator for well over 12 years before moving to my current location where one was already provided for my use. Upon selling my previous duplex, I included the Kenmore as part of the deal. That was over 6 years ago and the family who purchased it is still using it today. They love it as they have continued to use it and have also had no problems with it either. That is nearly 20 years with no problems! What else could anyone ask for or expect in a quality appliance? For these reasons, I highly recommend Kenmore refrigerators as an excellent choice when one is looking for just the right refrigerator appliance... Not only are they functional, attractive, and highly durable, but they also meet the needs of diverse family sizes and needs.

It was a good refrigerator. We have used many but this was one of the best ones - we all like it. My husband, my son and all family loved this refrigerator a lot. I think it could be a little better to size so that people in small apartments done have trouble fitting them in their small kitchens so I would not recommend it a lot but performance was really good so we loved it a lot. We liked it but nowadays so many new models and designs are available that people have more to choose from and I guess people will love the latest designs. I wish we had these options then. The refrigerator is a good value for money. Lot of my friends also bought it and they all say that its good. When at my home we all loved it for performance as well as the overall value for money that we got.

I would definitely recommend this refrigerator and the Kenmore brand to any/all who asked. I believe it is a good product and a brand that inspires brand loyalty. The refrigerator was purchased with my home (I did not purchase it separately). The refrigerator was clean and well kept - and remained in this condition throughout my ownership. I did not have any mechanical or material issues with the refrigerator throughout my possession - I sold my home and the refrigerator.

Ive had my Kenmore Elite refrigerator (model # 795.72053-112) for 18 months. Its broken down 5 times. They cant seem to fix it and they wont replace it. (Apparently, if they dont change out a part, it doesnt count). I think ice is building up behind the unit.

At time of purchase, it was best value in comparison with other brands. However, the water filters for the ice/water were costly. Improvement on price of filter and easy access to replace. Also quicker process for crushed ice and not having the shards splatter outwards rather than all directly in receptacle. But have had many Kenmore products/appliances. All were reliable and easy to purchase. Helpful salespeople. Warranty and product replacement parts easy to pick up from store.

My refrigerator is nearly 2 years old. Almost a year ago it developed a loud vibrating noise at certain times it was running. Ive had Sears service people visit three times and whenever they were here, the noise wasnt happening, so they said that they couldnt do anything about it. One of them tightened some screws, to no avail. So I constantly put with the noise. The only recourse I have is to keep calling Sears and hope they will arrive when the noise is occurring, or luck out and get a technician who will actually look into the workings of the unit to try to get the noise to occur. Is anyone having this type of problem with their Model 71033?

Very happy of its design. It fit our kitchen space very well. The freezer was the winner. We used to store lots of food. It was problem free until we moved. We used it for 5 years. It fits your familys needs. I am very happy with the freezer space and the door space. Holds lots of bottles which is easily accessible. Lovely. Stylish, fits my kitchen deco very well. Since we have all appliances in black and silver it fit in very well. It was not reachable for my hopping toddler, which made things hassle free. We bought it for around 1200 dollars and do not regret it. We got a good resale price when we moved since it was in good condition. Its a bit pricey but completely worth it. I would recommend it over other brands any day.

Found it to be the drain tube. I ordered the kit online. My husband & I fixed it. I would like to know why there wasnt a recall on this? It is a very common problem. The original part gets gummed up. There is a noise in what appears to be the fan in the refrigerator as well. For a 3 yr. old appliance... I am not happy!! Sears customer service has gone downhill. Very poor!

I have been a Kenmore brand customer for decades. Purchased a Kenmore Elite refrigerator 5 years ago and it died last week. Called Sears and was told the earliest appointment they had available was two weeks in the future. They provided the name and number for another repair company who might be available sooner. When I called that company, they wanted to charge me nearly $300 for a service call. I promptly hung up the phone on that rip off artist. I called Sears back to ask how much they charge for a service call and was told $99. I could not believe that Sears would provide a referral to such a company. I finally found a local company who for $89 plus an extra emergency fee of $45 came out the next day to diagnose the problem. Turns out the compressor died. While the fridge no longer has a store warranty, the compressor has a 10 year manufacturer’s warranty. So I call Sears to order a new compressor. I am told that they cannot work off of a diagnosis provided by another company so I am back to a two week wait for one of their technicians at a cost of $99 for the service call, to come out and tell me what another company already has. Then after that the part has to be ordered and the repair scheduled. Plus I have to pay for labor charges to have the new compressor installed, which I am sure will come to hundreds of dollars. While I am tempted to purchase a new fridge I decided against it. If the new compressor lasts 1-2 years it allows me to defer the price tag of a new refrigerator for at least 12 months. This piece of crap ran nearly $3k with delivery and install. We were told by the repair guy to stay away from Kenmore, LG, Samsung and Frigidaire because they are all a bunch of crap with a lot of issues. Apparently these brands just stick their names on products manufactured by other companies. Needless to say I will never purchase another Kenmore appliance or the other brands noted by the repair technician.

Its a really great fridge. It works well and is easy to wipe down when it gets messy. Its the best fridge Ive owned so far. I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a good reliable fridge. It has a sleek look and is also easy to wipe now and the ice machine works great. The size of the fridge is great. Theres lot of room to put everything with space left over and lots of little spots for things like cheese and sauces. The fridge is very very nice on the outside. It looks modern. I love the stainless steel look. Its very classic and nice. Great for any kitchen. The value of the fridge is great. It has a good look so what else are you looking for. Its built very well. I like it very much so its worth the price I think.

The refrigerator cooled appropriately and the freezer was wonderful but overall was a little too small for my taste and preference. It was purchased prior to moving into our home and since it came with the home we had no say in it. I would not go below 22 cubic feet. It was free so I cant complain too much. Also the vegetable bin was not sturdy. It broke 1 year into having appliance. As far as black appliances go, it was fine. Nothing too fancy about it. I have to say in its defense, the exterior was easy to clean. The interior was similar to other refrigerators that Ive seen. If I was purchasing it myself, the value is pretty good. It gets the job done.

Fits everything you need for a large family. Plenty of shelving and drawers, inside and in doors, fridge and freezer. Shelves are spaced well for milk and soda. Deep meat and vegetable drawers. Its lovely. We chose black over chrome, the layout is appealing. Side by side doors looks very nice. The shelves and drawers are spacious and good looking. Good price. Black also cheaper than chrome. Their designs and colors match what I am looking for and they are easy to clean. Moreover, I like the side-by-side refrigerator with ice machine and water dispenser. It has the space that I need and lots of drawers. There are baskets available to hold items and I can have crushed or cubed ice.

For the price it was at the time (there was a sale when I went to take a look at it), the space and build of this unit was great for my budget. Its basic and I like that because I dont have to worry so much about maintenance with fancy features. I can display photos and its easy to clean. Very well in keeping things cool and stored. The freezer is just enough space for all my long term storage needs and the energy saving feature is a big help. Also, it holds all my groceries and snacks brought in by my family and friends. Its a huge help around the holidays when I got to cook a lot.

I was searching for a site that demonstrated unclogging that drain that causes water to leak all over the floor on my Kenmore French door refrigerator w/ the bottom drawer freezer and I ran across this site. By the number of people that have had problems with this, you would think Sears would recall it. Maybe we should go in on a class action lawsuit. The refrigerator wasnt cheap and its really bad publicity for Sears, who usually does thorough testing before putting a product on the market. I dont know what happened but Im beginning to think I need to put this unit in the trash and go for something else. Its already ruined my floor.

The size was fine considering we only had a certain amount of space for a fridge with our countertops and our ceiling. The fridge had enough room and it came fully loaded, with all the bells and whistles. It kept things cold, had a water dispenser and made ice so we didnt have to use trays. Moreover, it was smudge resistant stainless steel which everybody loves.

For 2 1/2 years they would come to repair for it to only last approx. 6 months before breaking down again. They come and replace the control board because it was on recall too. Really??? Now Im on technician visit number 6 within 2 weeks. Day after installation of new board... warm again!!! No freezer, no refrigerator. Maam its your compressor. Another week for compressor to arrive, installed, nothing. The thing is warmer with new compressor. Why??!! I have had 9 visits as of date, new and updated compressor, new ice maker, and new control board. Nothing is working!!! Im sooo frustrated now that no one wants to take ownership. Wife was on phone for more than 3 hours with different parties within the Sears network. Got appointment for February 1st, GREAT service! Service provider contacted us to confirm OUR MARCH 1ST APPOINTMENT!!! Back to the phone calls. ABSOLUTELY NO HELP FOR 50 YEAR CUSTOMERS!!! JUST A LOT OF well, call this number. So if you have a Kenmore refrigerator, I recommend you purchase another brand and keep it ready in your garage as Kenmore doesnt give a HOOT about you after they sell you anything. The performance is good. It work seamlessly. I like the service it is providing. Keep the fruits and vegetable fresh for long time. It is better than other refrigerators available in the market. It have a good size. It have enough space to accommodate my vegetables, food items. We can keep lot of curries inside it. Still we will have space for more items. And the freezer box is also quite big. The look is great. The color is light black, but it does not fade with time. I like this color and it matches with my kitchen. This color was not available with other brands. That was one of the reason I selected this model. It provides a good value. Size is big. Keep the food cool. It have large box for ice and the freezer keeps it quite cold. We can keep food for long duration and it will not get destroyed or rotten.

Large enough to hold all we need to store in this refrigerator. It replaces the extra refrigerator in the basement that had begun to leak water into the bottom. This refrigerator stores the overflow from the kitchen refrigerator, or stores items not used often, like Coke we keep for visiting family, or five or six containers of ice cream. This refrigerator has the freezer at the top, and is black in color, but does not show fingerprints. It fits well into the basement as our extra refrigerator. I believe the value of this refrigerator is excellent. The cost compared to the capacity and style very well. Even though this refrigerator is in the basement, and is used for extras, it is nice looking.

The price was perfect for our budget, the style was exactly what we were looking for and it had an ice maker. We like the double doors & its lasted over 30 years with no problems. My Kenmore is a side by side 25 cu. ft purchased at Sears. I love the storage space which I can customize, adjustable shelves and automatic defrost. The only bone I have to pick with this refrigerator is that you have to change the filter for the water dispenser approximately every six months. If you dont, it would probably take about an hour to fill a glass of water, lol.

The ice maker is very easy to maintain. We change the filtration as recommended by Sears. Our crispers keep our food fresh very well, the freezer is excellent, we have different compartments. However, I would improve the outside ice delivery service, so your ice can be crushed or normal size cubes, a third addition to the Kenmore. We have been married for 45 years, raised 4 children, my spouse was Army for 20 years and we took our 2 Kenmores wherever we went, some have 220 watts which is what Europe uses. That was a great help so we did not have to purchase transformers overseas, we have always had two Kenmores as we like to shop at the Military Commissary and get a great savings along with our wonderful Kenmore refrigerators.

It has many innovative features and great features which greatly serve my food purposes. I like all of the extra freezer space as well as extra door bins and the two side by side refrigerator doors. I also like the way it cools at different settings. It also has a well-lit interior design and it is very easy to clean the glass shelves and allows me to separate fruits and vegetables.

The repairman said it be $666 to replace it, repair was not an option. Thats the price of a new fridge! This is a poor product. I would not recommend its purchase.

Pls stay away from Kenmore Elite Refrigerators sold by Sears and built by LG. Paid $2400 for the French door refrigerator and purchased it in Nov 2015. Bought extended warranty for additional 3 yrs for $500. Fridge stopped working 1 week ago. Not cooling or freezing. Sears tech came out and said this is a common problem with all LG refrigerators branded under Kenmore. 3 yr warranty expired in Dec. Go figure. Being charged $500 for labor. Its a joke the selective 4+ star rating their website shows based on customer complaints. This repair and product services is the biggest joke I have ever experienced. It is not my opinion, its fact they are not customer or priority focused now. Unbelievable. So the requirements to click it is my opinion without a selection that it is my experience and factually horrible service is beyond me.Lost all my freezer and fridge food going on four weeks now with empty promises daily my situation will be addressed. According to others I believe we may just have to repurchase another appliance to replace the ** one we paid hard earned money for several years back. Again this is unbelievable dissatisfaction in a long standing customer. Not sure anything action at this point will erase the sad bad service experience in Sears.

The size was just right for a family of four and worked fairly well for the produce section although the refrigerator is several years old. It has an appealing appearance. The color was white and had no problems with chipping or easily scratching. It was easy to clean with soap and water. It worked for about 3 months and was at least 17 years old when we finally found an economical refrigerator to replace it.

Then, a few days ago, a door tray fractured on the bottom, making it useless. Last night, my wife opened the door, obtained a milk carton from the larger door rack when it fell off, spilling all contents on the floor. One glass bottle shattered when it hit our tile floor creating a huge mess. I would advise consumers to not buy a Kenmore refrigerator. They used to be a reliable, high-quality appliance, but no more. Bet theyre manufactured in China.

Not really getting too cold but I see I am having what I have read about with multiple reviews on their Elite, 2 Door with bottom freezer are having. The freezer coils, freezing over. It seems to show an Error code of FF. The coils, for various reasons, freeze over. Mine is a little over 4 yrs. I have read where some say they are regular happenings that they defrost every year almost. Then you have the problem of finding someone to work on them, A lot of the local repair stores in my area would not touch them claiming getting parts are hard so I wound up calling Sears new A&E repair service since their brick and mortar stores are almost closed.They came and then told me they usually had no problem working on them but then I had to wait a few days to get the part they claimed was faulty, the thermistor, and then it took me a week or a little more to have them come back to install the part. So if you dont have a backup fridge, this may not be the fridge for you. They are LG so you might as well consider them also. Same fridge and same problems. The bottom line is they are hard to find repair stores to work on them, they are hard to get parts for and then they may even be hard to get the parts installed on them. In the meantime, mine did continue to run but I had a few things that thawed out the first time the problem showed itself. I would not recommend them as a good purchase.

These units are a separate matched pair, Kenmore Elite ref and freezer. I purchased these units in Jan. 2011 but didnt plug them until Sept. 2011 because I remodeled the kitchen. Neither unit worked properly. From the start, the freezer would not get below 22 deg. The repairs finally got the freezer working. The ref has never gotten below 39 deg. with temp control on 7. The compressor has been replaced, thermostat, the timer and then rechecked at another appointment but it still will not cool. On 24 Nov., it was 48 deg, on the 25th, 42 deg. Today it is 40. deg. I have had at least 7 or 8 appointments for these units. On Nov. 24, 2012, I had to purchase another Kenmore ref as a back up because I cannot depend on this unit, which I could not afford because I am on a fixed income (disabled). I talked to lemon service, 1 800 927 7836, today. Their service records are not accurate. One comment from the Tech repairman stated I didnt want any more service. This is not correct. He said he didnt know what else to do. I need to be contacted about more info. Please.

That was the second longest tenure of any of our refrigerators since we moved into this home in 1967. It had to withstand opening and closing the appliance dozens of times on a daily basis as there was always great traffic around our Kenmore. Its like many of the Sears products that we have owned: tremendously sturdy and dependable. I would heartily endorse the Kenmore fridge.

We’re a householder for 2 adults and 2 children and its wonderful for the little snacks. I love the drawer and the shell station and the fridge, I mean freezer. I always have room. Its very easy to keep clean and wipe down. Spray a little Windex on a paper towel and youre all done. I thought it would retain water spots and it doesn’t, so overall Im very impressed. I like it because the groceries you can order the products you can put in the drawer and have it sent at your own humidity. They last longer and it works wonderful with my fruit.

Purchased the Kenmore Elite French Door with the Grab-N-Go door in August 2014. Since the price of the extended warranty was about $900 we did not purchase it. At the 18 month (July 2016) point the cooling coils in the refrigerator portion we developing extensive icing and it was actually pushing the bottom drawer outward. Sears couldnt get anyone out for 5 days so we called a local appliance repair person. They came twice but we unable to make any repair but show me a part that they thought might be causing the problem. Sears overnighted me the part and I was able to install it. It did seem to initially fix the problem but now (October 2017) about 15 months later, I again have the same problem. I have ordered the part again, the controller assembly which apparently should control the defrosting of this coil. Not sure if these parts are poorly made (LG) or that something else is a problem. These refrigerators are not repair friendly.

The size was fine for our family of four. Any bigger would have been unnecessary. However, it would have been nice if the water dispenser was higher for bigger glasses. The appearance was fine, as we needed stainless steel to match the other appliances. However, it never really looked clean... Very streaky. The value was good for that specific appliance. If we wanted the fancier Viking or Wolf, it wouldnt have worked with our budget. Kenmore offered the same as Whirlpool or Maytag which cost more.

Kenmore Model 106.62153111 - I purchased this refrigerator in June 2014 and got it with the stainless doors; big mistake. Kenmores stainless steel doors are the worst and show every mark even when sealed with a good stainless steel after market finish, so stay away from their stainless door offerings. The other thing I was NOT advised of by my salesperson was the fact that this fridge/freezer has only ONE THERMOSTAT for both the refrigerator and freezer compartments. What this means is that no matter how many times I have called for service and they have replaced the thermostat and reset everything, as soon as it gets hot outside (Im in NJ), there is no way stuff in the freezer compartment stays frozen; ice cream becomes a sludgy soup, veggies are limp instead of crisp and ice cubes are nonexistent. If one of the service persons does get it to function in the freezer, then all my produce in the lower drawers also freeze.This is the worst design for a refrigerator I have ever encountered and my advice to you is to always inquire about the controls in the unit you are thinking about purchasing. MAKE SURE THERE ARE TWO - one for the freezer AND one for the refrigerator. I am still waiting to see just what Sears will do about this ongoing problem which seems to have no long term remedy.

This is a poorly designed refrigerator. The door spaces are too small to fit more than one or two items. The light hangs into the top shelf and prevents items from fitting there. For some reason, there are bars hanging under the shelves that prevent items from fitting also. All round poorly designed appliance.

I started washing the parts after two days. I got through most of it but when I immersed the bottom shelf in the lukewarm water, it exploded! The explosion was traumatic. The thousands of glass fragment went in my hair and clothes and into the garbage disposal and all over the kitchen floor. I cant even go near the refrigerator! I would like to sue the company. Poor Ice Maker performance on our Kenmore model 106.5113 Refrigerator (Purchased April 21st, 2015). We are dissatisfied with the quantity of ice our new Kenmore refrigerator produces. We called Sears for a repair technician to come out and look at the unit. The technician explained the Sears no longer offers a repair service for these units and he was a third party contractor. He couldnt find anything wrong with the unit and said the new unit is not as good as the old ones. He suggested the accelerator option to force the refrigerator to make ice faster. I told him we tried that and even in accelerator mode, it only fills about one-half of the ice bin in twenty-four hours. We usually do without ice about midday. Our last Kenmore lasted 24 yrs and until the day it died it still would fill the ice bin in less than 24 hours. I wish I would have had it repaired now instead of this piece of junk. His only advice was to use accelerator mode. This is an indoor ice maker and it is very inferior to our previous machine if thats the case. We use to fill a small ice chest with our old machine and it would be full again in a few hours. I dont ever remember this thing ever being full. I gave their service department a poor review so they called me back for a follow-up and said that Sears didnt make Kenmore anymore and I would have to contact the manufacturer. They said this was a Whirlpool unit, gave me their number. I called Whirlpool and they said they didnt make the unit either. Im going back to the store for a refund. No wonder Sears is struggling these days. What a nightmare!

This appliance is sleek and beautiful. It matched my other Kenmore appliances perfectly and its coating is very resistant to staining or fingerprints, unlike many other refrigerators we looked at. Not only is this problematic in terms of actually having cold storage for our food but a hazard. Having been unaware of the problem, I took a major dive on the kitchen floor when I slid in the puddle of water. One more reason to BEWARE of purchasing from Sears. Seems like Sears will not change their irresponsible practices until a law suit forces them to do so.

Had it just a few months and ice maker quit. Tech came out and did a workaround to get it to run. Has always been noisy and didnt cool as it should. Warranty on fridge up six months ago. Called due to a leaking problem. Sears sold me home warranty. First 30 days will only pay out $500.00. Tech came out and said that it was structural and could not be fixed. No insulation in the back. No wonder it was noisy. Sears is not backing it other than $500.00. This is a sealed component and should be covered for a longer period of time. I spent close to $2000.00 for this fridge. I want the $500.00 to go somewhere else to purchase and they refuse. Why would I purchase from them again? Sears no wonder you are going under. Poor quality appliances. I called in and was transferred to four different numbers. You need to work on the customer service. I do give them credit that every person I spoke to knew this was a problem with the fridge.

It has a lot of space and it is easy to store things. With all the drawers it makes organizing so easy. And I like that its wire, it makes it easy to clean. It is very clean in appearance. I like the white color, it keeps it classic. The inside is also white as is the wire shelves and the shelves on the door. It was a great price. Normally we have our freezers break after about three years and half to buy a new one so it was great that this one wasnt very expensive.

My Kenmore was expensive but with the warranties and great deals it was all worth it. I dont regret how much I paid and I am excited for the refrigerator I have.

3 1/2 years ago, I had no income and received state aid from an agency, OLHSA. They provided me with a new refrigerator (brand-new from Sears and Kenmore), insulation and a few other items. Now the refrigerator is leaking water everywhere, which is highly unusual for a refrigerator thats not even 3 1/2 years old. I contacted Sears and they said that they cant help me because the refrigerator is out of warranty. I contacted OLHSA, the state agency who provided me with the refrigerator (at no charge, since I had no income). I am now on permanent disability with low income. This past Monday, a representative from their office (OLHSA) came to my home and tested the refrigerator.He found that it was defective and it needed to be replaced. However, I received a phone call from OLHSA on 3-5-15 telling me that my income is too high for them to repair the refrigerator, even though they are the ones who provided the refrigerator in the first place (AND IT IS NOT EVEN 3.5 years old!) When OLHSA asked me to submit my income documents, I did so and was not told there was any limit on income to have the refrigerator repaired OR replaced. So now, I have a refrigerator that WAS brand-new, less than 3 1/2 years ago, that was bought for me by a state agency. It is now defective and leaking water. I have a very bad back (which is why Im permanently disabled) and cannot be getting down on the floor and sopping up water every 7 to 10 days. Im shocked that this refrigerator didnt last even 3.5 years AND neither Sears OR OLHSA will stand behind their work OR the vendors they CHOOSE to do business with.Do I any alternative than to buy a new refrigerator? As I said, Im on permanent disability and the checks I get dont go that far, especially when my electric bill is $74 a month because my refrigerator is running constantly! I have appliances that were here when I bought this condo that are still working fine. I didnt choose the Kenmore refrigerator, OLHSA DID. I cant believe they cant/wont make this right, especially since Im permanently disabled & on a fixed income. WHY DID THEY NOT TELL ME ABOUT THE INCOME REQUIREMENTS before the technician came out? At least I got confirmation that indeed, the refrigerator is inefficient, does NOT meet govt standards & is defective. In the meantime, it runs almost 24/7 (running up my electrical bill) & I continue to have to throw away food that gets wet.

My family had several Kenmore over the years. We have one in the garage, we had in our kitchen for years and its still going strong after 20 plus years now. I dont know what wed do without the 2nd fridge and a dorm size isnt big enough. The older one in the garage we use for overflow and drinks. Its great for keeping watermelon, cold and not taking tons of spaces in the kitchen fridge. If Kenmore makes products that last that long theyre doing something right.

In September of 2012 we bought a new Kenmore refrigerator from Sears. In less than a year we noticed severe ice build up on the back panel of the bottom freezer. We contacted service who sent someone out. He did nothing other than tell us that maybe the door was left ajar, or that we basically open the refrigerator too much! Really?!! Its never been a problem with any past refrigerator. This was August and he said once the weather got less humid it would probably slowly disappear. Well we waited and it didnt and how convenient and cost saving for Sears....it went off warranty! Now its added a new problem to go along with the ice build up. A loud noise probably coming from the evaporator fan motor from what I have read online. Several weeks ago I pulled out the inner drawers and used a small hammer to chip away the ice build up myself. It stopped the noise for about 3 weeks, but now its started up again and there is ice showing up again on the back panel. I contact Sears service and was told basically tough luck since we didnt buy the extended warranty. But they offered to give us 10% off of a service call. Big deal!! They never fixed the problem to begin with when it was still under warranty. We refused to pay $479 for extended protection on a $1200 large ticket item like a fridge that should last for more than a year without issues! They obviously know what they are selling is junk. Im quite certain from what Ive been reading that this is a design flaw. It should be recalled. Im completely disgusted and will not deal with Sears again.

I have had no issues with this refrigerator. It is easy to clean. The water in the door is a great thing to have. It is large enough for my family. I like that the shelves are adjustable. This is a perfect size for all my needs. The shelves are adjustable to allow larger items. The shelves in the door hold 2 gallons of milk, and they are tall enough to store the larger bottles of condiments, and sodas. The refrigerator goes well with my decor. It matches all my other appliances. It is just the right height to fit under a cabinet that hangs from the ceiling. The value of this refrigerator is a very good deal. It is actually worth more than what I paid for it. It has outlasted other refrigerators that I have bought.

The machine is awesome. Its a 2 compartment with an ice maker. The crisper keep things like lettuce and other vegetables cold but doesnt ruin them too fast. The ice in the ice maker can get stuck together if you dont keep it emptied but that is the only real complaint. Its the right size, it fits where my old one was perfectly. The freezer keeps a lot of stuff in it and the space in the refrigerator is second to none. Overall probably more space than I need or am used to, but I love it. It is also tall enough to where I can keep some things out of reach of small children. Appearance is great, its simple design and the interior is really spacious. I love the design of the drawers and the crispers. The door is also nice, I can store a lot of stuff in it. Great value. You wont find another fridge on the market that does what this one does at the price it is offered. Would definitely recommend.

Very efficient and quiet and also very easy to use with little or no help at all. Its great. I will/wish all of your appliances worked as quietly as that brings to memory when my fridge went kaput. You can fit pots and pans and skillets and soil washers. It also will allow you to put in coolers if theyre not of great size and does get those clean especially after camping and fishing. It has a really Sleek look. Very small in size and fits in the smallest Corner in my kitchen but still is very easy to access. It was the best one that we saw for sale at the time especially for the small size. Besides having a very Sleek look and being small enough to fit in the corner of my kitchen the value seems fantastic as it has a really new look although it is not too old. I really do love it.

I purchased a black Kenmore refrigerator (model #795.75319.900) in 4/2010. I had to call for a service repair on 5/20/2010, because frost had built up in the freezer and the food in the refrigerator was not getting cold and the water dispenser would continue to flow after the cup was removed from the door. A repair person came out and fixed the problem, stated ice had built up in the panel behind the freezer so cold air was not flowing into the refrigerator area. I forget what he said the problem with the dispenser was due to. After about a few months, my husband and I noticed the problem again, such as frost building up in the freezer and water dispenser still not working properly. Within a year, Sears replaced our fridge with a new one. After about 3-6 months same problems, the dispenser never worked properly, we just keep it locked now. I defrosted the fridge and it worked okay for a little while, but the same problem keeps happening. The fridge isn’t even 2 years old. We are tired of losing food and defrosting this thing every few months. We are talking of buying a new fridge but these things are supposed to last at least 12 years, we are not even close to that. I talked to service dept. The lady was pleasant at first, then when I asked if they (Kenmore) would help with the purchase of a new fridge, her tone changed and she asked me in an accusatory voice Why didn’t you call when you were having problems with the second refrigerator?! Of course, that upset me a little, I have several of this companys products and would probably buy more, but not if they are not going to stand by their products and customer service upsets the clients calling for assistance. I explained to her how I was trying to fix the problem by defrosting and not paying for service calls every six months, which if it is a quality product, I wouldnt have to do anyway. The water dispenser has never worked properly. It is nothing my family or I could have done to make this refrigerator malfunction, it is a manufacturing defect or possible just a lemon of a fridge. However, I should not have to pay $1,000-1,500 for a new one when this one is still practically new. It’s just not operating like a new. Why should I have to pay for a service call and repair when this like new fridge malfunctions? Sears should pay for the repair.

The Kenmore Elite Refrigerator Model # 795.7402.411 has fail twice in two years with the same error code Ef-rf. We had the service man out in June of 2016 and it was still under warranty but it was about to expire so we purchase a extended warranty. The Sears repairman said they were having a lot of problems with this unit. Well now a little over a year later my warranty is off and it stop working with the same error code. I called service and they stated that the warranty is over and another year contract would be over $300.00 for another year. After reading the complaints about this type of fridge it seems that Sears is aware of the problem and they blame it on LG and there is nothing they can do because it is made in Korea and they are ripping us off by charging another $300.00. It is time they stand by their Sears Elite fridges and have LG come up with a resolution with no cost to the consumer. These fridges are not cheap. Maybe it time for a class action suit?

I never had any kind of problems with my Kenmore fridge. It was well designed. The layout was well organized. When I bought my fridge the big thing was a top freezer and mine was huge with plenty of shelves. I would buy another Kenmore if I were to need another fridge.

Generally the Kenmore 795.76209.900 fridge has worked fine for the 3 years Ive had it. Complaints include I can put up with a few dents from the ultra thin sheet metal cabinet (Does it really have to be that thin??!! Can almost dent it with fingernail!!!), but the cheap plastic freezer compartment guide rail takes the cake. It broke, now I feel like Ive BEEN HAD paying $75.00 with shipping for the replacement part. Am worried the other side will break as well, so trying not to use the upper freezer rack for a week until the part arrives. Otherwise I would REALLY FEEL CHEATED for way over a hundred dollars for $2 worth of molded plastic that should have been made more durable in the first place.

It is very roomy, many shelves for many different sizes of products. No matter how much food is in it it never looks cluttered. You can always get to what you need. It goes very well with my other products in my kitchen. I(t gives the look of my kitchen a upscale look to it. It has a very modern look to it. It is fabulous looking. Very proud of it. Has an area for all food and separate areas for different items. Have never had an issue when requiring extra food to be stored in refrigerator. Overall appearance is very appealing for my home and have had many compliments on the color and size. I enjoy everything about it. It is completely satisfactory with design, color and size. Compared to other products the price is very reasonable for a product with this much size and room. I would rather pay more for a quality product than one that may break down at some point.

The history my family has had with Kenmore keeps me coming back. Its quality products are always dependable and work to my needs. I havent had to worry about maintenance because they last. I trust the Kenmore name because it’s been around for a long time. I like the fact that it stays cool when the power goes out. Kenmore is reliable where others are not. There are too many fly by night appliance fads and Kenmore doesnt do that. We are consistently happy and surprised. However, I would include more settings and maybe a deeper space for the freezer area. It also needs a better filter for the water and ice makers that is easier to change.

Side by side gives more room for fridge and freezer, and the water it supplies is cold and good tasting. Ive never had any issues with it in the 10 years Ive had it. Kenmore is my go to brand because it represents quality across the board. There is so much storage space, side by side is so much better than freezer top refrigerators. It has a lot of room to store just about anything on its shelves, in the freezer as well as the refrigerator. My Kenmore refrigerator is a side by side, and has a steel finish that is so easy to keep clean. There is a water and ice machine on the outside of the freezer section, making it accessible for a healthy glass of cold water. This Kenmore side by side refrigerator is well worth the amount I paid for it, and I have not needed repairs since I bought 10 years ago. To me, the Kenmore brand is synonymous with quality.

I hear people saw they do not like that type due to fingerprints but this one is not bad. It has a lot of space in the crisper which actually I wish was just a bit smaller. I love the deli tray, that gets used everyday. There is a lot of shelving in the door. I like how the shelves are movable so I can adapt it if I have large items. Freezer also works great. It seems to be pretty energy efficient, which is more important to me, since I can see a pie chart for my electricity and my usage is not that bad.
