Its really exactly what you would/should expect. Its definitely a quality product. I do really love the whole ice machine bit. Buy some Tupperware though. I like to use the crock pot for roasts and what not and it definitely doesnt fit. Size is fine. Breaking up the roast into smaller portions isnt a bad deal though. Makes it ready to take in my lunch that way, anyway. Black, modern, sleek. I mean, its a refrigerator. Not exactly the centrepiece of a room really. It doesnt stand out though, so thats nice. I dont think Ive ever really looked at one made after the 80s or so that I thought was ugly, really. I mean, considering I barely paid for it, Im pretty stoked on the value. I would have happily paid asking price, though.

Each time it has taken 6 weeks to get repaired... each time they replace the compressor with another faulty compressor because that’s what the warranty covers. We are cutting our losses and going fridge shopping for a more reliable brand. If I could give zero stars I would.

The fridge performs very well and does not raise your monthly cost of living that much. My food stayed fresher longer and the space that it took up was slightly less than my old fridge. The freezer was quite large compared to most fridges that Ive owned in the past. The fridge cooling area was very nice with plenty of shelves and door space for all my needs. It really does not look special but it looks like all standard refrigerators. The paint was done very well though without any runs or high / low spots. I was very happy with the cost of the fridge for its size and brand. The brand I knew was reliable and the size was what my family was looking for. Overall it is a great value.

I own a Kenmore Elite Trio French door refrigerator and the large glass shelve shattered in little pieces when I went to clean it under water. This is the second same type of fridge I owned and the problem is that the freezer keeps freezing up and then defrosting to the point that even the food gets defrosted. The ice maker freezes up and stops making ice. The ice melts down, then freezes up to one block of ice. This is a $2,000 purchase and it is the second one that I have owned. The first one was left behind when I sold my home and I only experienced it for five months as I had to move.My freezer has frozen up and the tracks were frozen. When I went to pull on the freezer handle to try to open it, the door hinge came off and the door is hanging on by one hinge. It is Saturday and I had to put a trash can up against the door to try to keep the freezer from defrosting until Monday, when a service man can come out to fix the door. I am reading all of these complaints and I am not a happy camper. I will be calling Sears Monday morning with all these complaints to back up my complaint and I will get back to you to let you know how it goes. I bought this fridge last September 2009.Updated on 05/06/2012:I followed up on my service call. Well, it has been one week, and today, I finally have my Kenmore Elite Trio bottom freezer made by LG working again. Never buy Sears appliances. I spoke to the corporate office, and you cannot speak to anyone above the so-called customer service executive office people. I spoke to a Lana, and she would not tell me her supervisors name. She said it is for security reasons. Ha! The service man came out on Monday, ordered the part, and came back Thursday to install. Well, it was the wrong part for the freezer door. I ordered it again, and the appointment was made for Saturday. The service man came out, and it was a different man who came out to service the fridge. He did not charge me! I am sure they made a mistake, because I was told I would not be reimbursed for food and I would only get maybe a 10 to 15 percent discount. Its not acceptable to me, since I lost over $300.00 worth of food. Lana was not helpful; she was very rude and would not let me speak to anyone else in corporate nor would she gave me any name of who was above her.So I called another number, thinking I would get someone else. And lo and behold, I ended up being transferred to Lana again. I told her that I wanted to speak to the CEO. She said I could not speak to a higher authority. I said I will be writing a letter to the CEO, and she said it will just go to her. I also stated in our conversations that I will be standing out in front of Sears appliance entrance, telling and showing everyone about these complaints that are out on the internet about Kenmore appliances and the lousy service you get now. She said to not threaten her. So I said it was a promise, not a threat. Hmm, I wonder if she had second thoughts and really did authorize the service for free.Well, we will find out if they contact me. I will be telling them Too bad! And I will not be paying for anything, except the service call. Stay tuned. Remember my freezer door got stuck, then I tried to open it and the door fell off the hinge. That is my story. Spread the word. Do not buy appliances at Sears. Oh, I also told her I was a realtor, and I was going to tell everyone in the industry not to buy Sears appliances. It is definitely competing with other named brand product out there. It has so much space to store food and drinks and all the vegetables and fruits. I have a 4 year old Kenmore Elite refrigerator, made by LG, that has been out for over 3 weeks. Sears will not replace it and so far they havent been able to fix it. Terrible customer service and a subcontractor technician who is actually a part changer. They dont come out to fix the refrigerator but to troubleshoot and order parts they think might be the problem. What a joke. After 3 techs and numerous parts ordered and installed I still have no refrigerator. The latest possible fix date is the 26th of July. The refrigerator failed on the 25th of June.

It is one of the very best refrigerators Ive ever had the pleasure of having in my home. Id never buy any other brand. I cant imagine not having a Kenmore in my kitchen. It holds a months worth of groceries in my home easily, and I have a family of four with two growing teenage boys. So, that says a lot considering how much food they alone can consume in thirty days. Its chrome finish, molds into our kitchens, modern look very well and makes easily kept clean. It is the one appliance that ties of whole decor together in our kitchen. I place the value of all my Kenmore alliances, in which I have five in my home, to be priceless and wouldnt sell any off them for the world. However, of all five this refrigerator is the one I hold most dear to my heart.

Wonderful brand, never had a problem. I bought it and used it for almost 9 years and the only reason I got rid of it was I want a black one but I loved it when I had it. Thank you Kenmore. It was plenty big, I could fit quite a bit of food in it and it was so easy to clean also. Mine was 20 cu. feet but I sure would recommend nice ref. My refrigerator was white and had lot of room bought groceries for family of 4. Never had any complaints. It was well worth the money I paid. I like it better than a lot of other models and makes. I think anyone would be proud and happy to have any Kenmore product.

Since there was no local store, we were not provided with a temporary substitute. We waited a couple of weeks for the repairman and waited additional time for the part to come to our house and the repairman to return. He replaced the compressor. On August 25, less than 6 years after purchase, the refrigerator stopped cooling again. We paid approximately $2600 for an appliance that lasted less than 6 years! When I spoke with customer service, the gentleman offered to sell me another extended warranty. We will no longer purchase Kenmore products.

It is large enough for two people to keep their foods and beverages in it. It would be nice to have one a bit larger though to keep large packs of beverages in. It still looks the same after 18 years of use. The appearance has not deteriorated at all. It is still white and clean looking. I would recommend this fridge because for the price it is really great that it has lasted almost nineteen years now. It is a great value.

This is an LG refrigerator with the Kenmore nameplate. The ice capacity is a joke at about 2 lbs per day. It takes forever to make ice even when you use the Ultra Ice feature. It is very cheaply made as well. I pulled the drawer in the freezer open one day and a wheel from each side broke off when it reached the end of the track. The freezer also frosts food really bad and you have to throw it away after a few months. Very dissatisfied with this refrigerator which is the biggest piece of junk I have ever owned!! There is a variety of fridges to choose from, big or smaller styles, and parts are easy to get and is an American-made product. They have great prices and don’t have to replace less than five years. I like that it is big and has lots of storage. It has three drawers and keeps things cold long. Food stays fresh longer. It has a big freezer and I like the white one the best. But I would make more colors to choose and have a ice maker on more models. I also would like to see more drawers in the fridge and the light could stay on longer. It needs a temperature control you don’t have to control so food doesn’t freeze at all and a little more space in the freezer.

I liked the good quality and name recognition. I saw a great advertisement regarding Kenmore when I was looking for a refrigerator that really swayed me. I wanted a dependability refrigerator and Kenmore seemed like a good choice to me in that regard. It kept my food and other items at a constant temperature that was cold enough to prevent my food from going bad which is exactly what I wanted it to do. However, it is scratched easily when in daily use and it scratched the floor as well whenever I tried to move it. It is costly to repair as well. I had it break down once and it cost an arm and a leg.

More than enough size for a family of three. The freezer is great for storing meat when its bought on sale, and the fridge is plenty big enough for even the pickiest person. It was a little more expensive than I expected to spend, but in the big picture, well worth it. Sure, you could spend less, but in the long run, youll pay more in loss of quality, and needing to replace it sooner.

This is a follow-up to an earlier description of our problem with a Kenmore Elite bottom freezer refrigerator, purchased at a local Sears store in 2008. The prefix of 795 in the model number indicates, according to my extensive research, that LG manufactures this refrigerator. I just received notification, written in extremely poor English, that LG flatly denies manufacturing this refrigerator. They pass the buck to Kenmore. Since experiencing our problem starting last weekend, I have seen numerous references to this problem of the light staying on in the refrigerator section - getting so hot that it fries the surrounding area. I dont care about the food we lost, but I do get angry at the loss of a newly purchased bottle of $200 insulin (which was on the top shelf near the lights that were intensely hot) which I paid cash for because its not covered by insurance.I received no notification of any problem with this refrigerator at any time in the past 6 years. I spent numerous hours on the phone today, talking to people who cant speak clear English, being switched from department to department, being hung up on, being referred back to all the numbers I had called previously. With no repair persons/companies in our area (or within 100 miles) to service LG/Kenmore appliances, we have no options but to junk this incredibly expensive refrigerator. I can guarantee that I will never, never, never buy anything from Sears again or any LG product. I will run in the other direction. The customer service for Sears and LG is absolutely horrid. They should both be forced out of business.

We purchased Kenmore Elite refrigerator on September 5, 2012, thinking it was an Elite brand. It worked fine until 2 days ago October 25, 2017, 7 years later. We came home and found the freezer food are thawed, soggy, the refrigerator inside was warm and food were starting to smell. It seems to be the same problem most owners have, I realized, after reading all the complaints about this Kenmore Elite refrigerator. The electronics on the door lights up and there is still the same noise the refrigerator makes, as if it is still working, but, inside it is warm and food are spoiled. I called the number that is posted inside the door that is posted: Sears repair 1-800-367-6010. I was told because I did not buy a warranty that he will transfer me to the sales department.The sales person was able to give me the details as far as when I purchased the refrigerator, however, the warranty is good only for 1 year but the parts are good up to ten years. For $139 she can send someone to my house to check but it will be on November 5, which is 10 days later. I found there was a recall on LG and Kenmore Elite in 2004 for the same problems. Obviously the problem has not been fixed and Kenmore Elite models all should be recalled again.

It was just the right size for all the food we had to put into it and the freezer kept the food frozen. It was a perfect size and fit into the space very nicely and it was just the right height so I could reach the top of the refrigerator. It was a very clean and neat looking refrigerator and it looked very good in my kitchen. It was very easy to keep clean. Wonderful refrigerator to own. For me this refrigerator rates a very high value as it was problem free. It stored my food very nicely.

We have the black color. It arrived undamaged. It has retired for kids and it has resisted scratches. It also fit our kitchen nicely. The freezer portion is a bit cramped but he fridge has plenty of room, we especially love the crisper drawers. Also, the door easily holds two gallons of milk on one shelf. It works great. The only problem we have had is that it sometimes make a little ice. It otherwise has had no problems. It also is easy for the kids to operate.

Doesnt use a lot of electricity and it is user friendly. The size is perfect for my family and I. The egg compartment is big enough for at least 2 dozen eggs. The vegetables and fruits are packed safely without squeezing. The color fits with every other appliance in my kitchen. It is easily clean and no smudges. It is white so I can paint my kitchen walls any color and it still fits. The value is outstanding. It is inexpensive and it works. I would recommend this brand because it has everything and more to be the pride refrigerator in any kitchen.

You cannot remove the ice bin from the freezer unless the french door is open. One and done. 6 years really! I know appliances no longer last a lifetime but 6 years. Do not buy this appliance.

Luckily the compressor is covered longer but the labor was ridiculous $$$. And then to read all the individuals who had the same thing happen and practically at the same time. There is no garage kit for this model and no information in the owners manual that informs the consumer that the unit will stop working in the summer and winter during extreme temperatures. However, the water dispenser kept breaking and had to be fixed. I also thought that the freezer space was weird and not big enough that many foods did not fit well. I was surprised at how cramped the freezer was so that did not meet my expectations for a Kenmore. However, I would purchase one again. Kenmore makes durable and reliable refrigerators. It was a great price, and free delivery and removal of the old one.

We bought a Kenmore Refrigerator Model #25360082412 in April 2016 that went dead in July first week. We called Sears as it was covered by a Master Service Agreement for which we had a hefty fee. It took them two weeks to come and inspect. The technician acted friendly, blamed Sears products (“very poor quality”) and also said that the compressor has gone bad. He also said that in such cases, fridges should be replaced with a new one whereas Sears is pressurizing them to get it fixed. He said he has to order the parts and not sure when the parts would come. When contacted Sears, the reply was that they need to send another technician to confirm what is wrong. Another technician came yesterday and the same scenario all over. It takes awfully long time to get hold of a person to get an answer and the person we were able to get connected said this morning that the first technician had written in his comments that we had refused the repair work. Only after three failures Sears would replace the fridge and that has not happened in our case according to him. We are waiting for the parts to come and have an appointment in ten days to get it installed, assuming the compressor arrives by then. The service by Sears is extremely bad. When you call, you get someone in Philippines who have no knowledge or understanding of appliance breakdowns and mere note takers. In a nutshell, we still have no fridge after six weeks.

The Kenmore Refrigerator was on sale, looked very nice and easy to upkeep. It went very well with my kitchen layout and saved some space, and fit into the home I was at at the time. It also looked good with our other appliances. However, I dislike how small it was, there was a ice maker but it didnt work well and took up a lot of the room in the freezer which wasnt ideal. Also, it would hold onto finger marks or stains on the inside. Nevertheless, I like the pull out drawers. When it was brand new it looked sleek. It held a lot of food and had a good amount of space to be able to have lots of different foods in specific areas of the fridge. And I would purchase again.

We also had a 3rd floor apartment and a long stairwell so being able to fit inside that way was the key to my fridge purchase. And then the fact that the inside was large to fit a lot of food was even better. I only replaced the light inside about once, besides that it function quite well. I was overall pleased and if I had the same choices I would choose the same items again.

Im very happy with the Kenmore refrigerator. I have owned it for many years and its great on performance, its energy efficient, and it keeps food very fresh and cold. It is standard size and quite roomy on the inside, but if you are like me, you always need that extra bit of space and I wish it was just a tad larger, so I will step up next time. Its quite nice-looking for an average refrigerator, but does not have all the bells and whistles of newer, fancier models, like the chrome finish and water attachment in front. Its a very good value and as good in comparison to newer, more stylish models.

The refrigerator is reliable, expendable, and trendy. Right now the features I love because it’s a big improvement since my last refrigerator, and I can’t complain about the space. I have more space for food and dont have to depend on a whole freezer to store extra food. Also, with the extra space, it keeps my food fresh and cool instead of spoiling quicker than other refrigerators because of the lack of space. It’s also slim fit and tight storage which also keeps your food and beverages fresh over time. I love that the water is purified and I don’t have to buy a whole water filter system because with a system you have to replace every three months which can cost more money over time. When you can just buy a refrigerator with natural water filtration system and contain less contaminants than any tap water or water bottle brand you can find in the market or any stores out right now. The water is ph7 and up which means it’s no contaminants in the water and I don’t have to buy any filter and also my ice is already clean and purified because of the brand-new updated features. I was close to choosing Whirlpool but I chose Kenmore because of the reputation and how their customers was very pleased and happy to share their experiences with the brand free of choice. And in my opinion, Kenmore is similar to an smart refrigerators because of the up-to-date technology and have open USBs. It’s child and spill-proof because it stops upcoming spills from happening and protects other shelves from getting messy if it was to happened because previous refrigerators don’t have that security. If an spill happened everything gets wet, so I like the safety and precaution needs of the consumer.

I might just change it to a style with the freezer on the bottom or just purchase a separate stand-alone freezer. The size was perfect for our family. The spill-proof glass and gallon doors were a plus. We also liked the ability to control various parts of the refrigerator. This allowed our food to stay fresher longer. Moving the shelves around was also helpful. However, the freezer was not as wide as I would have liked. Especially with larger items like a turkey that just wont fit in the freezer. I dont think there is anything you can to do fix that without taking room from the refrigerator side of the unit. Given the option, Ill take the more refrigerator space.

We had to supplement with old fashon ice cube trays. 33 side by side, water ice in door, Stainless steal. Kenmore Elite 51813, LG made, The last Kenmore refrigerator lasted over 25 yrs. We didnt expect it to last that long but geesh 3 and half years. Unacceptable! Had to throw some food out and dragged my daughters old shop fridge sitting now outside my kitchen, Florida. Shopping for a new one, NOT LG nor Kenmore LG. Nope. Never again. They basically robbed us. LG should be ashamed of producing such a poor product. Obviously they are inept or crooks. It is a fine appliance. I got no bad things to say about it. It keeps all my beer good and cold. When I want ice in my whiskey I have always got it ready to add to my glass. I kill my own meat most of the time and I never have to worry about my refrigerator going out on me and spoiling all of the deer meat, bear meat or any of my trout I catch out of the river because that would really piss me off. Nope no complaints on it yet anyway. Its going on 5 years old and it is like brand new.

If I had known how it would act, we would have paid more for the next model up. It is a plain white fridge with a textured finish that is difficult to keep clean. It is moderate in size and sticks out past the cabinets. It is just a normal fridge with no bells or whistles. The size is ok for a kitchen but we need an outside fridge to hold extra milk and food. The cheese drawer is very small and the produce drawers dont really have humidity control. Since the freezer and fridge share a thermostat the fridge often freezes things if we want to keep the freezer cold enough to make solid ice.

It does what its supposed to and has been working for many years. I have had few difficulties to it other than the fact the inside trays have broken however, it is still usable. The fridge has plenty enough room for our needs. Rarely do we run out of room in the fridge. The freezer however is not big enough for the food that we store. Its nothing special, just a white fridge that is useful. Nothing more, nothing less of its intended use. I guess it is a nice size but other than that its just a fridge. The value of the fridge is great because we have had it for years now and there hasnt been a major technical problem other than the interior is breaking.

It is a great feature to have and wont go back to side by side doors. Yes so far have not had any issues what so ever regarding storage capacity and are taking care of a family of four, the interchangeable shelves are another benefit thats adds value to this type of fridge freezer. The appearance of the fridge is a sleek design which also made it an attractive buy as it fit perfectly with our kitchen design, it is also easy to clean and maintain when it comes to hand prints. Considering size appearance and many stable shelving along with frost features it is a good value for price when considering all these aspects. Would not trade it for another model.

The refrigerator after just 11 months, before the one year warranty expired, started collecting water in the bottom floor of the refrigerator (upper unit) and did not cool anymore, lost lots of food. Called their technical repair number, they sent a “technician “ who basically told me it was my job to fix it, that the problem was that I needed to defrost the refrigerator completely, wait a couple days and plug it again in order to defrost the ice that would collect on the back wall and resulted eventually in water pooling at the bottom and not cooling; never mind that it was the middle of summer and that I owned only ONE refrigerator. After many sour discussions with their repair service (How can a less than one year old refrigerator suddenly stops working?) and their insistence that they would NOT give me a new refrigerator, I decided to do as they said: defrost it, wait 2 days, plug it back. It worked for 4 months, after this period it starts all over again with same problems, called again, this time however, I was told it wasn’t under warranty any longer (1 yr 3 months old) so I had to pay for the repair, trip of technician and any parts. I refused to do that for a basically “NEW” refrigerator. I have had problems with this refrigerator every 3 or 4 months and as of now, less than two years old, I’m so frustrated that I’m ready to acknowledge a “loss” and move on, get a NEW refrigerator; obviously making sure it is NOT A SEARS BRAND or any manufacturer related to SEARS. Wondered why they are in bankruptcy? DO NOT BUY A KENMORE OR SEARS APPLIANCE in the short life they remain as a business. SEARS does NOT take responsibility or stand behind their appliances. We should have a class action suit!

It went out today (quit cooling) and they not only dont seem concerned about such a quick malfunction, they say they dont work on Sundays, are booked on Monday, and cant get out until Tuesday. Its very frustrating to lose a weeks worth of groceries when the warranty proclaims Call anytime, day or night. This is something to consider before buying from Sears or Kenmore.

Kenmore Refrigerators did a great job at keeping my veggies fresh for several days longer than I thought they used to with my old fridge. Fruit did great as well. However, it would freeze things in the back of it if I wasnt careful. I have to keep an eye on things especially if they were almost empty. Frozen milk is just gross. Additionally, I wasnt a huge fan of the door shelves either for some reason. However, it kept things cold and it didnt melt my ice cream which was a huge improvement over the prior one. All in all, its not too bad.

Our Kenmore Refrigerator has lots of space for food and compartments for different genres of food and keeps everything fresh and opened at a good length externally but also internally. It is a good size for my kitchen and was perfectly placed in a good spot and fit well. It is a great match for the colors in kitchen. Fridges usually dont come in that many colors but while white was not my favorite selection it was the cheaper choice. White is sort of dated and tends to look a little cheaper than a silver or black but besides that it matched everything in kitchen and went well with vibe for most part. I never had a problem with the fridge section or freezer section to the point where I had to call service or return it. It worked well. I think I got what I paid for.

We purchased this refrigerator (Kenmore Refrigerator Model 970-420423) on April 26, 2012, and it is the noisiest fridge Ive ever seen. The motors keep constantly running. Apparently, it has 3 motors in it, and with requiring so much pressure, every time we open the fridge portion, the top freezer pops open and often. It doesnt close completely, leaving a gap of about 1/4. If a person is gone all day, they can easily find that the freezer section has been open 1/4 all day. Were so dissatisfied with our purchase and because it takes awhile to realize its problems, Sears would only send a repairman out to check it out. He says the material they use to insulate the fridges now does not do anything to soundproof them. He gave the reasons for the freezer door popping open which doesnt help us any. Were very sorry we purchased from Sears. We wont trust them again. This product is supposed to be made by Maytag, so, watch out.

Plenty of shelves to put your food items on. The freezer keeps your frozen food items frozen till youre ready to use them. It is a good looking refrigerator, and the stainless steel color is a delight. Not too large for the kitchen. Not an ugly looking box to have. The value is very affordable, and most other types dont compare to the cost of this one. Others cost more and they are not as good to use.

Modern, all and all, a very nice shiny fridge. I liked the color and the pattern. You pay what you get. I didnt expect to get a fridge for free or for 100 dollars. The line of appliances was fairly wide and there were adequate choices to make a decision for the model we desired. The Kenmore refrigerator was spacious in capacity, had good produce space and I liked the ice and water dispenser options that it offered. I also liked the color options because I wanted it to match my other black appliances. However, I was disappointed in the performance of this refrigerator because it broke down after only 2 years and then I could not get immediate service for it. Serviceman came, but then didnt have parts for a repair even though we gave a full description of what part had failed before the serviceman came. We would not repurchase a Kenmore refrigerator.

We bought this highly rated french door refrigerator back in 2014 and for 6 years it has worked perfectly. If refrigerators only lasted for one year Id say we got our moneys worth but according to repair experts a refrigerator should last 14-20 years. Our Kenmore was made by LG and if you do your research you will find that LG is not a very reliable brand, I dont care what the experts say. The compressor is weak and only lasts for a couple of years if you are lucky. Ours went out! Now LG covers their compressor for 10 years but Kenmore only covers it for 1. What a rip off!!! It will cost $1166.28 to repair a refrigerator that I paid $1150 for in 2014. Sears and the Kenmore brand can go square to HEdoublehockeysticks!!! Im done.

Its a nice basic looking fridge/freezer combination. I dont like a big fancy fridge and I dont need a fancy ice maker and filtered water spout. I can make my own ice cubes. Im a basic person. I like the color white because it is easy to tell when it gets dirty and needs a good wipe down. I love how it has enough space on the door shelves to fit milk and juice etc. The fresh drawers are plenty big to fit a head of lettuce and other produce too and the freezer is the perfect size for what I need to store. Also, always keeps food the right temperature and the price was perfect for people or families on a budget.

We never had any problems fitting groceries into the fridge or freezer. It always accommodated all of our weekly groceries. It also fit everything in it for parties as well. It was ok from a visual perspective. It was white and kind of plain. But it did match the rest of our kitchen appliances and thus blended in well so I gave it a satisfied rating. It was durable and quiet, had great storage, lasted over sixteen years before dying. It held up its end of the bargain. So we were pleased with its functioning.

It fits into the space I need it to and I can find things quickly. It keeps my food fresh and my vegetables crisp. However, theres a lot of sharp angles that make it hard to clean. Im often wishing I could move the shelves in and out easily. Its also hard to change the light bulb. Still, Im very happy. It has met my expectations and far exceeded them.

This is a great model fridge which allows me to get the most out of my kitchen and helps me with organization and storing food. It has definitely met my expectations and overall it works very well. I love this fridge and freezer. I need to have it and I look forward to using it for years to come.

I am so unhappy with the Kenmore refrigerator I bought from Sears three years ago. Today I had the second repair done, which has now nearly doubled the cost I paid for it. Ive never had a refrigerator that stopped working, let alone twice in its first three years. My old Frigidaire was still running, but it was so old that the plastic inside it was crumbling apart! But not one repair! With the cost of this Kenmore, two Sears repairs (labor was $258 for a 15 minute repair), and all of the food that had to be thrown out. This is the most expensive refrigerator I could have purchased and I hate it. I will never buy from Sears again.

I really enjoyed my Kenmore refrigerator. It is recognized as a top appliance brand for years. I grew up with a Kenmore refrigerator in my childhood home. Now as an adult I bought this brand for my own home because of the good experiences in my past. At this point I have had my refrigerator for about 4 years and I havent had a problem with it even once. It definitely serves its purpose of keeping my food and drinks cool and the temperature is always perfect.

It has gallon door bins, adjustable shelving and door bins, 25 cu. ft. of capacity, frost-free freezer, built-in water filter, ice maker, can fit tall bottles and wide ones, tight sealing doors, humidity-controlled and clear crisper drawers, and adjustable spill-proof glass shelving. However, the stainless-steel is hard to keep clean, fingerprints are always on the fridge or smudges. And sometimes the drawers come out fast or fall out of the door, and small items slide around the door if there are gaps.

I researched several brands of refrigerators and Kenmore has always been a good brand for me. My expectations have been met and passed. I found this one on sale and the price was very good. I like the three doors and I like the freezer on bottom so I can reach everything, like ice maker tray. I also like the stainless-steel color, the adjustable shelves inside and the separate vegetable and meat compartments. It provides what I need. But the freezer could be a bit larger because I freeze a lot of food.

The refrigerator has nice color tone and clean edges. It has a great many drawers and easy to clean. The size is good for my needs but could always be bigger. Not enough freezer space as always as and the depth and height could be more. Need drawers and more space like a fridge. Bigger freezer is always a necessity.

I am very upset I purchased a Kenmore side-by-side refrigerator from Sears online. Now they want hundred dollars to come out here and fix the fix the refrigerator. This a lot of bad reviews. Do not purchase anything like this from Sears because they do not stand by their word. I tried adjusting it. I called or my home number and they are not helpful. They said I didnt have a warranty. The thing is two years old. They should replace it or fix it without a warranty.

I purchased a Kenmore refrigerator, based on my past Kenmore purchases. Not only have the products deteriorated but I have not experienced such poor customer service, ever. At 9 months my refrigerator stopped working. I first emailed customer service with no response. I then called customer service and after I was basically told by the person that answered the phone, that it was my fault (6 different ways) that my refrigerator stopped working (which was after I was told that I shouldn’t email but only call customer service-complete opposition to the website and to a card left by a service tech). One of the things I was told was that I should only be using 60%-80% of the freezer space. I asked her to tell me where that was written in the owner’s manual. She stuttered and stammered and then said (after telling me how she knew all these issues because she had worked there 11 years, and this was most likely my fault) that she got confused as to what service told her and what was in the manual. It would be false advertising to sell a 26.1 cu. ft. fridge but only be allowed to use 60%-80% of that space or it stops working, when a person actually uses the space that was purchased. After so much time on the phone, I got put on the emergency schedule, which was 5 days out. After service checked it out, I was told a part had to be ordered and it would take 6 days. 18 days later, I called back (no one called or notified me), to be told the part was on back order until March. I asked what they were going to do until then, I got transferred two different times after the first person couldnt help. I was told that after 30 days that they would schedule a replacement. I asked that they send me documentation for that and I was put on hold (after a loud sigh and a very huffy “I will check to see if that information can be texted or faxed” after I had been told it couldn’t be emailed) and at an hour of being on-hold I hung up.I had asked to schedule the replacement appointment since I had been told already that the part wasnt coming until March, almost another 2 months. The customer service person (supposed customer service person) got very short and said they couldn’t do that until 30 days had past. This was after I asked her to confirm that I had to wait even more days because the order for the replacement part was made 5 days after the service personnel were out (12/17/19). They stated they ordered the part at that time, but in fact did not order the part until 5 days later - per the personnel that answered the phone on 1/4/2020. I sent the original email on the 13th of Dec. which was a day after my refrigerator went out. It is now the 5th of January 2020. So that all my food did not spoil I purchased an ice chest and after days of going back and forth to a station for ice I purchased a small refrigerator. In another week it will have been a month without the refrigerator. After spending about $2000 for a product that now doesn’t work and substitutions, so I don’t lose more, I am the one made to suffer even more and made to wait. This is in addition to receiving the worst customer service I have ever received. (I have spent time on the phone with Microsoft and Apple and in comparison, they were jewels.)

The product is very roomy and has enough storage for all of our groceries for the month. Keeps everything fresh and its top of the line! We never have any trouble keeping our veggies and fruits for an extended periods of time because the crispers keep a constant separate temperature from the rest of the fridge.

I had it some time ago, but I dont think I had any major problems with it. I replaced it just to upgrade my kitchen. At that time I think the fridge was still working fine. But we really needed a bigger one and decided to get a side-by-side with a bigger freezer. That was about four years ago. We had to sell the house due to a family situation. We moved into a house owned by my mother which already had an adequate refrigerator which is not a Kenmore. But if we do need another one, I will definitely look into getting another Kenmore. I believe they are well-built, they seem to not to require much repairs and they definitely last a long time.

The history my family has had with Kenmore keeps me coming back. Its quality products are always dependable and work to my needs. I havent had to worry about maintenance because they last. I trust the Kenmore name because it’s been around for a long time. I like the fact that it stays cool when the power goes out. Kenmore is reliable where others are not. There are too many fly by night appliance fads and Kenmore doesnt do that. We are consistently happy and surprised. However, I would include more settings and maybe a deeper space for the freezer area. It also needs a better filter for the water and ice makers that is easier to change.

I would definitely recommend this refrigerator to anyone that was looking for a new refrigerator. This refrigerator was a perfect size for us and we could fit in all of our needed items and still have extra room left over. It was not too big or too small and we really enjoyed it. This refrigerators appearance was tall and white, like most regular refrigerators. This refrigerator was a really good value for the size, space, and functionality. It was not too expensive and it was not too cheap and the quality reflected the price fairly well.

Found it to be the drain tube. I ordered the kit online. My husband & I fixed it. I would like to know why there wasnt a recall on this? It is a very common problem. The original part gets gummed up. There is a noise in what appears to be the fan in the refrigerator as well. For a 3 yr. old appliance... I am not happy!! Sears customer service has gone downhill. Very poor!

It is easy to adjust and maintain the temperature. There is more than adequate spacing for foods. Fits my kitchen well. The shelves hold tall as well at deep items. The drawers are big enough to hold vegetables. I like the clean lines this model has. It is easy to clean and it complements the appliances I have in the kitchen. It does not dominate the area and is the good width and height for the area. I expect this refrigerator to last many years and I checked online for other similar models and prices. This model seems to give me the most for my money.

I like the level of the shelving the fridge had which was wide enough and had a certain depth that I appreciated. I like the color and overall size of the fridge. It was also multi-functional which was a plus for me. I like the sale price and I also liked that it had a warranty. They also had a special for free delivery which was very appealing. However, the freezer was smaller than I liked. I also didnt like the lack of colors that it came in. I felt like it could have offered more modern color schemes. Calling Sears customer service and they are the worst people. Ive been trying since September 2, 2017 trying to get this fridge fixed and its October 5th and still fighting with them. I am still under warranty and I bought extended warranty for $500.00. My advice dont buy Kenmore and dont buy at Sears! I wont even start with all the other appliances.

But I wish they make it easy to clean and have different temperature for veggie door and also meat door. The door doesnt seal good, and I would like a cooler place for milk, water in the door, filter for water, and different choice for colder parts of refrigerator. It also needs a bigger freezer. We chose to purchase Kenmore both because of its highly recommended status in the appliance world in general and because of Sears, where we actually bought the refrigerator. We had to choose a smaller model due to kitchen size in our rented house. But for 18 cubic feet there is a nice sized freezer. And room for vegetables. Its a small refrigerator. Blends well with other appliances. Fits in small places. Good for smaller kitchens. Looks great. We have the white one. As with all Kenmore products refrigerator comes with a great warranty and if you do need service technicians are great. Low cost for quality product.

There is also a lot of storage with this refrigerator which is always a good thing especially if you have a large family like mine. My Kenmore was a pretty good size but generally most Kenmore are a pretty big size. This is a good thing because the storage capacity is excellent. I can get a lot of foods, beverages, etc in this refrigerator/freezer with some room to spare. Even with the # of items, it still keeps my products fresh. My Kenmore is silver, although they come in the options of white, black, etc. I just love the silver because it meshed well with the design of my kitchen. I purchased my refrigerator at Home Depot for about 1199. I think I got a good deal because it also included delivery and setup.
