It worked well at first and then the inside drum came loose from the frame. It started leaving white material all over cloths from the lining or glue that held drum in place. Water was coming out all over our floor. Was satisfied until it broke. Parts were too expensive to repair it so had to buy another washer instead and did not buy the same brand washer. I love the look and front load door. It was pretty dark, red colored, and still looked new when it broke down. Loved how easy it was to control. Not happy with the perceived value because parts were priced so high that its not worth it to fix or repair them. You are better off buying a new one.

I didnt love front loading washers. They dont last as long as top loading. And a lot of bending. You also have to worry about the washer leaving a smell... Have to clean it often so water doesnt sit in the rubber suction area. I think the product is reliable. It definitely gets the job done. My clothes come out clean and aint all thats really matters. I have had it about a year and havent had any problems besides water and debris build up in the rubber suction area. I got the washer because I just loved the look. Its white and looks high end. I was happy with the appearance and it is what helped me decoded on which to get when I was searching for a new one. I would say the price is on the higher side but I would say for a a washer like this they are all on the higher side. It was still reasonable just more than I really planned and hoped to spend.

Kenmore gets our clothes clean, offers a Vietnam of cycles, temperatures and I am please. Kids do their own laundry so its easy to use. It stays clean and fresh smelling and cycles are fast. It is definitely reliable. Have had to for a few years and we do several loads a weeks. Have not had any issues with it not operating correctly. We are pleased with its functioning capability. Cant say I have seen a good looking or a bad looking washing machine but this machine is attractive. We have had it for a few years and I honestly do not remember what we paid for it but considering it has worked without issues for this long I would say it was good value.

I purchased this washer based on Consumer Reports and other recommendations. I have had nothing but problems with this washer. Been a little over a year since new and had Sears techs out 3 times. Water leaks out of the overflow valve on the back and floods the floor. Tech says to use low suds detergent which I do. We cannot wash more than 4 towels at a time. Must use a minimal amount of detergent. Can hardly use any detergent when washing sheets and blankets as it goes out the overflow valve onto the floor. Sears tech says its the way the machine is made. Im ready to dump this washer and get something else which is a shame as I have all Kenmore appliances and have always bought Kenmore for the past 40 years. Sears needs to do something about the design of this washer.

It works very well and has many different settings I like. The clothes come out perfectly clean and the time is a good enough amount without being too much. Its been very reliable and I have it quite a while now. I love Kenmore products. They can get he job done without being over expensive. The warranty is good also and customer service is the best. Its solid white with only a few knobs so it isnt confusing how to use it. It loads on top and uses more water, but thats the kind I like not one with a tiny bit of water. It is a great value for the unit and I would have thought it to be more considering all it can do. It has several levels for water and different cycles.

High efficiency top load washer - Absolute garbage. The most stupid and frustrating purchase of my life. Done with Kenmore!!! Kenmore should fire their engineers and go back to the drawing board. My clothes come out more dirty than when I put them in.

I owned for more than 5 years and never any major problems. It is a very reliable machine without a lot maintenance. It dry the clothes good after 60 minutes of run. Sometime longer for one load. The performance decrease with age, it works great for the first 5 years. My washer color is white, medium size, perfect to fit the laundry room in the bathroom, it is made of iron and dont slide or move around. The value is average, no luxurious or high end. Just something reliable and functional. Something easy to use, something you can use everyday.

Kenmore Washing Machine Model #110.20022013 - About a month ago, we bought a new Kenmore washer. After about three washes, the lid lock light began flashing, and the washer would not go into the washing cycle. We called Kenmore appliance repair, and they replaced the washing machine with another identical Kenmore machine. Now after two weeks, the lid lock has begun flashing again for no apparent reason. I was able to make the machine work by unplugging it which then allowed the machine to start a new cycle. I spoke to the manager at Sears store, and he said this might be caused by a recent power outage. But I am concerned that this will happen again, and that as with the first machine, the washer will not work. We are still probably under warranty. But I dont want to wait too long. Do you have any suggestions? Do all washers contain these lid locks? Do they all have problems?

My Kenmore top load washer 500 series is junk. Been dealing with this piece of crap for three years. My problem washer goes into spin mode and makes a load boom bounces hard shakes and stops spin. Very scary. Had two service tech out change the computer board and one changes the tub ring. Still having the same problem. Dont want to use it anymore because I fear its going to break my floor tiles when in spin mode. It shakes and bounces so hard. Its a piece of crap. Going to call the service department once again if they dont fix it they find in their showroom dont buy this washer. Its crap.

It does not take long to clean what I need to clean. It does not make a lot of noise and is easy to use. I love it. When I bought I was very excited and I most dependently would not buy another washer for a good, good twenty years. It is very, very reliable. I can really count on it to wash every item correctly and in a timely manner every single time I use it. I would never use any brand but this one. It is very, very cute and I love it in my kitchen. I have a Kenmore front load washer. It's about 10-15 years old now and has been a great washer. I had a service man come out one time when the inside rubber gasket tore, otherwise I've had no problems with it over the years. It has been very reliable. I leave the door open when I take the clothes out, even though I've never had moldy smell in my clothes. I usually wipe out the gasket (around the door) every so often, but not that often. The front paint ended up bubbling from spilled detergents over the years, but that's simply cosmetic. Those front panels are replaceable, but it doesn't bother me that much. I never thought this washer would be so good and last so long. Thanks Sears for a good quality appliance.

Kenmore Connect Washer. Ive owned this new washer for just over 6 months and have had 3 service calls to get it fixed; including complete replacement of the computer chips. And it died again today! BEWARE!! After 17 service visits, Im told I can get my money back... 14 to go! Thanks Sears/Kenmore!!!

It worked great. We bought it a while ago and it still runs like new. We have a family of 5 and it works great. We use it every day. Wouldnt trade it for anything. So reliable we havent had any issues with it even with daily use for a family of 5. We have 3 dogs and it does great with the dog hair also. So cute. Fits in with all of our appliances. Love the design and load capacity. Its just the right size and the display is easy to read. I think its an excellent deal for what we paid. It has every feature we wanted at an affordable price. Great brand for your buck. The load size and look was cheap compared to other brands.

I’ve had my Kenmore for about 10 years. I get it checked out through my maintenance agreement every two years. I’ve had very few problems with my washer. One was with my bleach add in tray that started to rust and the other was with the balancing of the washer to stop the knocking sound. Both problems were corrected and are no longer problems.

Works great, very durable. Repairs have been minimal. Dryer has not needed repairs since I bought it. Washer had a relay switch go out. Repair was not costly.

I purchased this washing machine in April 2010. It was okay for about a year then it started to display SUD and code F35, and would not run on any setting. This was a defect and Sears should offer a recall. A washing machine at this price should last for more than 2 years. After reading the other reviews with the same problem, I have decided to purchase a new washer and it will not be a Kenmore from Sears ever again!

You have to babysit this machine. It is frequently out of balance! It took me 4 hrs to do 2 loads of wash. The volume of clothes it handles is great, but it does not seem to clean well. Likely, the big problem is too many bells and whistles. Give me a big machine with simple electronics, or better yet how about the old agitators which may not have held as much, but cleaned the clothes and had hardly any problems.

Clothes were always thoroughly washed. It also wasnt that loud and washing time was adequate. The problem was that after 3-4 years I had trouble with it and water started to leak and my clothes would come out smelling weird. The first years the washing machine is excellent but a couple years later it starts to leak and your clothes dont come out clean. Especially in my condition, water would leak and it also stopped spinning. Luckily I knew someone who fixes them so I still use it. The appearance is okay. I really like how its white and the window is there to see if your clothes are ready. The size is okay. Its not too big or too small either. Im a little disappointed at the price it was when we got it. The reason is because it ended up needing repairs a few years later. If it would have lasted longer I wouldnt complain.

Kenmore elite 796.4157 - washer. After one week of having the machine I went into the laundry room and almost slipped because of all the water on the floor. Had a repairman come and he said nothing was wrong, just too much suds. I use tide HE - he said that was fine. I used less detergent and the machine still leaked. Another repairman came and replaced the hose. He said use less detergent. I use so little detergent its ridiculous it still leaks and another repairman is coming next week. There is an opening in the back of the machine with a white circle and the machine is made that way to release suds and water. Sometimes I see just water pouring from it. Why would anyone make a machine that comes out of the machine onto the floor. Someone is going to slip and get hurt and then I will sue Sears and my floor is constantly getting water. AGAIN WHY WOULD A MACHINE BE MADE TO GET RID OF SUDS AND WATER ON YOUR FLOOR. I WANT A DIFFERENT MACHINE. I Purchased it in 2013. WHY WHY WHY????? Who makes a machine that makes water come out on a customers machines?

I want consumers to know that this washer is not worth the money. Mine has been an issue after the first two years of ownership. The washer smells awful even when cleaned weekly as recommended. The seal is moldy even though we always leave the door open. The washer is a maintenance nightmare. It does clean my clothes but I usually have to run the load twice because it stops with an F-20 code. I am just looking for a washer that will clean and last 20 years like my last one. Neither Kenmore nor Sears is my first choice anymore.

I was not in the market for a high end, or fashionable looking washer with added features. I just wanted a washer that would allow me to wash my clothes and nothing else. Kenmore was the type of washing machine that was capable of regular to large loads of clothes without having the question or doubt in my mind to want to switch to another brand. I was able to do the normal washing that I was doing. Also, it was very reliable and needed no professional over to fix and broken parts that would cost me more than what I was willing to pay out of pocket expenses for. The price I paid was so inexpensive. If I had the money today I would buy me the same model and brand without worrying about how much it cost.

After 27 years I needed to buy a new washer and there were only ones without agitators so that is what we bought. Worst decision ever. There is no soak cycle; clothes often end up under one item like a parachute without getting clean or rinsed and causing another wash cycle. Absolutely dislike this washer.

We bought this HE Kenmore Elite top load washer several years ago. First we noticed that the thing just didnt clean the clothes well--- whites were coming out gray, etc. Then it started getting loud during the spin cycle. I dont mean noisy-- I mean LOUD. I looked on the Internet and found many complaints about this-- apparently the bearings are often defective and go bad quickly. The cost to replace is more expensive than just replacing it with a standard washer that actually cleans clothes. As I sit here typing the thing has gotten so loud that Im certain OSHA would require hearing protection to be near it. Were now beginning to notice tears in sheets and table clothes. Not only is it deafening and cleans poorly, its now actually damaging our clothes and linens! I hate the thing--- I mean HATE it. It was a total waste of money and were just trying to get enough use out of it to make buying a new washer cost-effective. A horrible, horrible piece of poop. The Kenmore brand used to be reliable-- its no wonder Sears is on the ropes and possibly failing. It deserves its fate.

My husband and grandson both work in construction and have very dirty clothes. This machine does not get stains out. I need to always pre-wash and do extra rinse. This is not energy or water saving! I have allergies and use the free & clear types of HE detergent, but still need to do an extra rinse. We also have mildew problems even though I follow the directions for cleaning the machine. It uses less water. Has a quiet usage. Its not load. Had never knocked. My clothes get clean with less water and less soap. Its not broken down with excessive usages. Ive only used Kenmore appliances. They rarely break down with excessive usage. Every time Ive needed a Kenmore appliance its always been in good working condition. They are always stylish appliances. Modern and up to date looking. Keeps my laundry room looking modern and up to date. I like the buttons much more than I like knobs. You get what you pay for. Reliability and durability. These machines last for years. Washing machines are major appliances and sometimes its not affordable to just go out and buy one.

It does not clean very well. It also stopped working multiple times. It leaked water consistently as well. Sometimes it would make very loud beating noises as it was spinning. It would work when it wanted to. About half of the time it would not work. It was always being repaired. It was not a very good machine. It looked like any other washer out there. But it was lacking in options to choose from. However, it did have the basics in order to get the job done. It did not cost any less than most other brands. I feel that if I had spent the same amount on another brand, that I would have a working machine.

This was a very nice product. It held a large amount of laundry and did an excellent job cleaning. The only drawback is that it seemed to take longer than regular washers. This product is very reliable. It never seemed to have any problems or get out of line. If the clothes were out of balance it would adjust them itself. I had this product in black and silver and I loved the way it looked. It had a clear top so I could look in at the clothes at any time. It was an excellent washer. The price I paid for this product was a little steep but for the quality of this product and the overall job it does it was a very reasonable price that I paid.

Love that it detects if my clothes have been washed or not. It washes well and it helps families find it easier for clothes to be washed over and over again. Love the aftereffects that uses for my position and everything it offers for me and my family. I can use it over again and it wishes well to the point that I love to wash clothes.

I have a three-year-old Kenmore Samsung Top Load washer that I bought from Sears. Six months ago it started making grinding noises. I called in a repairman only to find out that they do not repair these as they are on a recall. I went through their recall process and it has been ongoing since February 15, 2017. I was assigned a repair company and given a phone number. I called them and was told that they do not service my location. I contacted Samsung again and they gave me a new repair company after a number of calls and weeks transpired. The new company also did not service my location. In the meantime my washer is getting louder and washing less effectively. I gave Samsung the appliance service that Sears uses and the phone number to contact. I phone this service myself and he indicated that he does the recall repairs for Samsung on these washers. For the last two months I have been contacting Samsung to get them to assign my washer to this service center that they use and it is still not assigned! I have sold my house and must be out in 5 days so I had to buy a new washer and thought I would get the rebate. After reviewing the rebate process, I decided that this company can keep the minute $275 offered. I will never purchase a Samsung anything as long as I can help it. They did not contact me once during the whole process. I had to keep phoning to get updates and new information. The rebate does not compensate enough as it is only 1/3 of a new washer. I thought Kenmore was a great product and had no idea that it was made by Samsung until I started having problems. I guess the days of having a washer for 20 plus years are gone and consumers have to put up with second rate crap that is very expensive and ends up filling up the countrys garbage dumps.

I went online & filled out the settlement claim online today 9/26/16. I did purchase a Kenmore washer Model: 402 49032010 and Serial No: Y0AG54A2707312M (YOA or Y0A?) in 2006 from Sears store in Gastonia NC and we began to notice a smell a few years later in 2009. I am sending this request because in the initial claim I was only given 3 options of $50 was, 20% rebate, or reimbursement on repairs. I am requesting to ask if we can just ask for a brand new up date front loader Washer instead of any cash, rebates, or % off??? Could I possibly get the name of the attorney that is handling this lawsuit? The odor is sooo bad and the rim gets so much black junk and I have to clorox out the tub so very often. I purchased a Kenmore washing machine almost 2 years ago… I’ve had at least four service calls on it and has a clicking sound all hours of the day and night. They have been out to my house numerous times. They’ve replaced everything they say electronically the problem has gone away for about six months. Now it started again… I don’t even want to bother with them anymore so I just prop up the lid door so I don’t hear the sound in the middle of the night. Other than that it cleans fantastically. Was so much less soap and so much less water, Kenmore model number 110.25132411!

Kenmore Washer 80 Series - Horrible, horrible washing machine. Tears up all my clothes. Everything gets caught in the bottom of the agitator. I have holes in my clothes, holes in my towels, and holes in my sheets. I basically cant agitate anything and instead just soak the stains out and spin it dry. There should have been a recall on this machine. I have lost a lot of money in clothing and linen items that this machine has ruined.

Overall excellent product. Very quiet and cost efficient. Always washes great, energy efficient. Huge loads can be done. Highly recommend buying this product. Very, very reliable. It works great, dont make loud noise. It fits very well into the kitchen and beeps when it stops. When I first saw it I knew it would be a good washer for me. Doesnt have to pack a lot of clothes in the wash to wash my clothes. I can even put 3 or 4 comforter in the washer and clean my clothes. I can use gain washing machine and bounce to dry my clothes and leave a great smell in the clothes. I set up the dial according to the load of clothes that Im going to wash. Good for washing my clothes and leave the clothes clean and dont have to worry about washing. I wash about 7 to 8 load a week.

I have had my model for over ten years now and have never had to have service performed on it. It does require regular cleaning but no more or less than any other model. Very sleek design and easy to load. It is big enough to accommodate large loads but the overall size is small enough to fit in just about any configuration in your home. Any product that lasts longer than 5 years without requiring service or needing to be replaced is an excellent value. My family has always bought Kenmore appliances because of their overall value.

I have had bad experiences with Whirlpool washers in the past. Less than five years ago, we decided to purchase a new washer since our two-year old Whirlpool washer was giving us endless problems. We purchased a Kenmore Elite from Sears. We did not know that our washer was actually a Whirlpool washer. We have started with the same problems with this washer as we did with our Whirlpool washer. I just learned that our machine was actually manufactured by Whirlpool. I was told by Kenmore that other Kenmore Elite washing machines were recalled with the same problem, but does not include my model.I was transferred to so many different places, including Maytag (why Maytag?) to try to resolve my problem. If my machine is having the same problem as those other models that were recalled, there is a great chance that mine should be included in the recall. I never got to speak to the right department. The repair is costing me half of what I would have to pay for a new one. Now, I dont know where to go to get a reliable washing machine. I thought that paying a descent amount was going to give me a descent working machine. I believe that disclosing the manufacturer on appliances should be required because not everything that shines is gold. A reliable brand on the outside is not always what you get on the inside!

This washing machine works perfectly... Has never failed. I have never been happier with a washing machine. I can even wash quilts and rugs in it with no problem... I also wash my horses saddle pads and her blankets in it with no problem and always works perfect. I wash everything from small things, basic laundry all the way up to blankets and quilts. Washing machine is very clean and stylish looking. Will go with any decor you may have. I prefer the country style myself and it works great with my decor. The price was extremely competitive... Especially when you find it on sale. I did not feel bad about what I paid when I left the store... Well worth every single penny.

I bought a Kenmore washer on Dec, 2013 at Sears, Oakville, Ontario. After one month the washer was broken --couldnt spin dry. Sears replaced me a new one MOD# 592-49347 around March 2014. After one year later and two month, the washer door couldnt lock.

Is really good, doesnt damage the cloth, doesnt consume too much water, requires average time to work and the noise is low. It is practical and useful. I am happy and satisfied with the level of reliability because that model of washing machine can make all that I need and expect from a washing machine. The size is really good, of course if you need to wash a lot of clothes probably you need another washer, but in my case this is good for me. Simple and practical. The value of the washer is excellent because the price is good and the performance is great. Represents a great balance if we talk about price and performance.

I really like both of the machines. I feel like they do a good job washing and drying. Never had to reload clothes because they were not done properly. Also never experienced any breakage with clothes.

This washer always stops after wash instead of going through the entire wash, rinse, spin cycle. Most of the clothes arent even wet after the wash part of the cycle, let alone clean. Worst washer EVER!

Lasted a long time and did a great job washing and drying our clothes. Have nothing else to say at this time besides what I have already written.

A very powerful motor that get my clothes clean the first wash. At times I do not have to re wash any of my loads. Keep clothes clean the first wash and with very small amount of detergents. It is a reliable machine in that whenever I need it to clean clothes, it is available to clean for me. I can relied on it to clean virtual any piece and sizes of clothing. Also cleans on all sort of fabrics. I am satisfied with the rugged appearance, since I like the durability of it all. The tough appearance also make me think it is a tough machines that can help me with any tough job. Great value for the job it can do for you giving the versatility of the machine and the work it can do. I am happy for its rugged nature and the tough job it performs.

It did the job. It agitated properly and got my clothes clean. Really spun them and got the excess water out to make drying them easier. Very reliable and seems like it is really well made. I love get more products. It has enough space capacity to meet my laundry needs of a family of six. Four children under the age of 11 means lots of grass stains and dirty clothes. Looks sleek but also looks just like a lot of other washing machines out there. I like the style is simple and isnt a sight for sore eyes. I feel you get what you pay for when it comes to home appliances. This was a bit more expensive but definitely worth it and the warranty it came with.

I like that I can set the washer to start later, like an hour or two up to 12. That way I can go grocery shopping and when I get back the washer will still be on. My complaint is that Im not supposed to cover the center (theres no stick anymore) where theres a metal button. If it gets covered, like when I wash sheets and blankets, it wont drain. Itll actually take more time by re-rinsing and not draining so my sheets and blankets come out soaking wet. They never spin dry either. Id like there to be an option to spin only. Right now I have to select rinse and spin, which uses more water. That kind of defeats the purpose of it being HE.

I have a top load Kenmore elite washer. I bought it a couple of years ago replacing a 12 year old Whirlpool. It has been a real pain due to constant UE error (out of balance) about 50 to 70% of the time and usually when its with towels and jeans. I am very close to replacing (not Kenmore). I never had such a problem before.

Kenmore Dishwasher machine does a great job. Comes from a well respected product line that has been around since my grandmother’s time and has never failed to perform its assigned with efficiency. This product line brings back fond recollections of the machines I used as a child. Handles reasonable loads, simple to use, load & clean. Reliable operation without an overabundance of functions that I neither use or need. Handles all the capacity I need in my day to day life with conservative use of water, soap and power. My main concern with any unit is that it easy to load, and handles the washing with as little trouble as possible. Easy to clean, with a spartan appearance that lends itself to my lifestyle and sensibilities. I especially like the clean lines and simple control features without an attempt at being overly stylish or trendy. Simplicity is my driving concern.

Gets the job done and gets everything clean to my satisfaction, but I have kind of a generic model where it doesnt do much more than that. It looks like a regular washing machine. There are way better Kenmores out there but I will say the reliability is stellar. I have had for 6 years and have not had any breakdowns (knock on wood) so far. No complaints in that department. I think it was worth buying but I do not think it is worth much more than that.

It did exactly what I paid for the washer to do. It was able to wash my clothes in a quick and efficient manner. I have absolutely no complaints to report about this washer. I usually have quite a few loads of laundry, as I help raise a good size family. I used to have to wash loads separately. This washer is able to handle much larger loads easier. The washer looked like a typical washer. Absolutely nothing out of the ordinary with this product. I did like the clear door, so I didnt have to open the door to check my wash. I did not have to break the bank for this washer at all. I forget exactly how much I paid for this brand, but I do know I already have it paid off.

I am a senior citizen and limited in my mobility. I am totally disappointed and frustrated with the Kenmore Elite which I purchased in December 2013. The 3 P.C. Boards Ive been told are not working thus resulting in the machine not working. Ive been told by the technician the repair would cost almost as much as I paid for the washing machine. I thought Kenmores were reliable. I purchased this with my Sears card.

Last a long time. Washes and rinses acceptable. Has different water levels. Different wash cycles. Fits in a small area. Looks good. Best washer I have ever used. Reliable, runs forever. I have had mine for over 20 years and it has not broken down even one time. Easy to set up, powerful. Appearance was a basic white, top loader, slot for soap in two places, easy to move if needed, not too big so it does not take up too much space. Nice. Considering how long I have been using the washer I say it was a great bargain, thought it was too pricey at first but when you are still using 20 years later it was a steal.

We purchased in Apr. 2013. Would not get item clean. Would not even get all items wet. Called for service. Waited 3 weeks to get a tech to the house. Sears shipped wrong control board. Tech put shipped board in washer. He said it would work until they sent the correct control board. Waited 2 months, no new board. Called Sears and they stated, The board was still on back order and did not know when it would be available. I asked for a replacement. Replacement was delivered. Machine did the same thing as the first machine. Call back and asked for a replacement with a different model. Replacement was $1500.00 cheaper than the original set. (Oh, btw it is now Oct. 2013) Sears will not refund us the difference. The problem was with your product. Shame on you Sears!!!!! I will never purchase from Sears again.

Elite - Difficult to retrieve clothes from the bottom of the washer. I had to build a special platform for my wife to retrieve the clothes from the washer! The units were very expensive, but I would like to assume this would infer a level of quality. They seem to work well, although somewhat odd from what we were used to before.

New owner of a Kenmore High Efficiency Top-Loading Washer. Little different than conventional washers so following instructions as always, seems very important. Our issue is that our clothes come out VERY wrinkled. This possibly wouldnt be a problem but my wife hangs our clothes outside on a clothesline. Therefore she has to iron everything. Being under the 30-day warranty a service tech is coming out to determine whether there is a problem with the washer or a correction can be made in doing our laundry which we hope happens. At this point, Im not entirely certain I want a tech determining what course of action needs to be taken. Sticking with the washer or replacing it which is a warranty option.Updated on 03/06/2015Called Sears within 30 days of purchase to address extremely wrinkled clothing and annoyingly loud machine. Part was ordered and replaced but the tech wasnt interested in seeing a video of our machine bouncing in place even though he checked it for balance. Distressing seeing as how the tech has the authority on the next steps taken as to replacing this brand new machine.This is a purchase I deeply regret!

It cleans the clothes that I put in it which is a good thing. It also doesnt break. Also a good thing. I like top loaders better than front loaders. Ive never had a problem with it. Its never caught on fire or broken which is good. I guess that makes it reliable. Ive only had it for a couple years though. It has a normal look and it has a normal shape. I guess it doesnt look super old and its white like all washers. It was not super expensive which is what I was looking for. It was great for me to put in a rental and not have to worry about. My renters never give complain about it.

Good quality, clean, efficient, hardworking product. Time tested and approved. Ive gotten many, many loads of laundry clean and fresh with this washer. This washer has been very reliable through many tough dirty jobs. Id recommend it for anyone looking for good, clean quality for great value and price. This washer is typical in looks but the value and quality more than makes up for aesthetics lacking, just buy it and see people... youll get clean value at a great price. You save time on presoaks plus its less expensive than others that seem to have the same value. It lives up to the value and more.

This washer throws the drive belt at least once per month! When it does it has to be laid over and all the water ends up on the floor and a huge mess not to mention having to put the belt back on! Never buy a series 500 or any other Kenmore with this type belt drive! Kenmore was no help, they got their money.

Price was higher than some competitors model of similar in function and level in line. Cost higher than lower line machines. Reliability and durability balances cost for a good value for cost.

My Kenmore washer has been 100% reliable since I bought it, no warranty issues, no failures, at all. It will be 18 years old in August 2020. I am getting a little bit of surface rust underneath the bleach dispenser, but I will clean up and repaint the tiny rust spot this summer. I cant vouch for the new models, but mine has been perfect.

Absolute piece of junk. This dumb washer was built WITHOUT a central agitator. Bad, bad idea since the clothes get all jumbled up to one side of the washer. Glad Sears isnt around any more in my town since they sold junk!

Bought the big Kenmore Elite Washer High Capacity Topload machine with impeller. Sears installed it. Always having issues with the load balance. Wish I could return for a front load. Poorly designed tub...

It cleaned without extra cycles and the multiple settings were enough for all my cleaning needs. The tub was a little small, but I usually wash a few times a week anyway so this was not a problem. I never had any issues over the life of the washer, it always worked well, and was consistent from day one. I had to replace the belt one time in all the years I have owned it. It is classic white and I never worried about the looks. It is easy to clean, and stable where it was put. For the price it works great. It is easy to maintain the ability to somewhat overload, and have clean clothes that have not been destroyed is a tribute to the brand.

We always bought Kenmore machines since 1970. We purchased this top loading washer recently and have been very unsatisfied. This new machine never appears to clean the clothes well. They not only come out a wrinkled mess, they also come out with white splotches and dirt splotches on many dark clothing. As for energy efficiency, it takes a lot longer for a load to be completed. Had a technician come in the first month of usage, and was told what to do differently but nothing changed. Today, was the last straw: a favorite jacket that has been washed successfully in the past, came out worse than before I put it in! Would love our old, no energy efficient, agitating washer back in a heartbeat. Makes me think twice before going to Kenmore for another one.

It has lasted me longer than any other washing machine. It washes my clothes very clean. I repaired it one time in fifteen years. I also use other things from Kenmore. I have told other family members about my experience with Kenmore.

They always work well and will run forever. Easy to get parts and to have repaired. Very economical to run and the clothes are clean. I would recommend them and would purchase another one in a heartbeat. Great appliance. I have owned 2 and they have always worked well and lasted a long time. My clothes are always clean and smell fresh. Local company, made in America. Sears carries parts and will service them.

The machine worked well, fairly quiet, nice rack system, adjustable wheels for after choosing a new tile, easy to clean and hook up took less than 30 min. It did well as long as it was not oatmeal or cream of wheat. The appearance was fine for the decor of the kitchen was flush with the counter adjustable faceplate i.e. Floor plate so held a flush finish even after tiling the kitchen. The size was OK considering the racking system made it easy to load and the design maximizes the amount of storage space on the machine. That particular model was from a small place I had but got as new and used it a lot. I do construction and have purchased some in the past. The value was good if bought in the right place.

Elite High Efficiency Top Loader - We bought our washer less than 2 years ago! It has been extremely noisy the last few months and unbalanced! Yesterday the washer flooded our upstairs and poured through our dining room ceiling! We called Sears and they want $80 just to come out and look at it, meanwhile we have to replace carpet and Sheetrock. How can a company charge so much for a product and not stand by its quality and care about its consumer. A washing machine should last for more than 2 years!! Companies like this need to be held accountable for ripping off the consumer.

I have had no issue with the washer. It works well, no complaints. Just have to make sure that you do not overload the machine and more than it needs to be. This machine will get the job done no matter what it is. This is the one for you. Id recommend anyone to go out and pick this unit up as soon as possible. The overall look is good. It is white but looks cream at certain angles. It is easy on the eyes. It’s not too big and not too small. The overall value was worth the money. Has not given me issues and it works well to this very day.

Its good, it gets the job done. My clothes fresh and clean. Never had any technical problems with it or anything like that. Very good. I would recommend it personally to others. It works great. Its appearance is good, I like it. The value is perfectly fine, the cost was reasonable.

Water level too low, doesnt cover clothes. I wash everything on Bulky/Bedding and that seems to help get clothes cleaner. Months back a sheet wrapped itself around the agitator and it snapped right off. Called Sears and was told they dont have anyone in our area, Sears transferred the call to another company who said they dont have anyone either and I should call Sears. Needless to say, its still not fixed.

This washer is durable and reliable. It cleans clothes very well yet is gentle on fabrics. Leaves me feeling like it cleaned my clothes thoroughly. Kenmore is a brand I trust. I have owned 2 Kenmore washers in my lifetime. The first one I bought I gave to my daughter and still works today. I wouldnt purchase another brand. Its your typical top loading washing machine in the standard white color. Directions for use are under the lid top. Agitation type tub. This Kenmore washer is very affordable. This specific washer to me was priced to sell. Its a great price for such a wonderful, reliable brand name washer.

We have never had a single problem with our set of Kenmores. We did not buy the top of the line more of the bottom line, no bells and whistle. The settings are easy to read and turn knobs too, Im blind/low vision and markings are bold enough for me to see. Baskets are more than big enough to handle all of our washing loads. No extra settings to cluster the facial plates with settings we will never use. Bleach trough in the right place and easy to pour into, big enough to hold recommended amount, softener container in the middle easy to get to, softener lid can be a little hard to get off if you cut your fingernails too short. Product and price was right, have had for 5 years no service calls, bought a set for daughter.

I would never buy another Kenmore product again in my life. This washing machine is the biggest piece of junk I have ever owned. I dont understand why anyone would put a door switch like this on anything and what is it doing when you try to start it? Making sure the door is closed? I would love to know who the geniuses is that though this was a good idea. With a design this bad I find it hard to believe anyone in the design department there has a brain. The only thing this is good at being is a pile of scrap.

It had a great look in the kitchen and everyone love it, family and friends of the family, my brother and sister too. We got it by paying on time at a rent Thru center back in the day. I really appreciate it and if I can afford one now I would get one. But I tell everyone about it. It was a good washing machine and it last a long time for 7 yrs. Me and my family use to wash all the time when my mother dont have time. We use to make sure that all the clothes was wash and clean and that everyone enjoy washing.

We purchased a Kenmore top-loading high efficiency clothes washing machine June 2013 in order to be more eco-friendly and save on the amount of water used. Although I always use the extra rinse to make sure any detergent is washed away, there has often been a white residue deposited on dark clothes. I use the HE All detergent. Over the plus year-and-a-half there has never been a problem with mold because I always leave the lid up and also sponge away any liquid left in the dispensing cups. What can I do about this white residue left on my dark clothes?

I do not have to worry about my clothes coming out clean from my washer. I KNOW they will come clean. Kenmore is the only washer I will ever use. It is very reliable, and makes my life easier. My washer is one of the best assets in my home. The overall appearance of my Kenmore washer is very nice. It has a clean look to it. It always matches with what I have in my laundry room. I like having white appliances because it is easy to clean and goes with the entire house. The value of my Kenmore washer is priceless. I could NOT do without my washer. It saves me time, money and the hassle of having to go to a laundromat.

Kenmore 600 series washer - The images here depict a small load in normal cycle. The clothes didn’t get cleaned and that is because they just sit in a small puddle of water. The ad for this washer claims it can wash 21 towels?? Try four. We have to wash loads more than once and quilts are washed three times. The deep fill option is a joke. The worst part is that you end up wasting so much water it’s ridiculous. Kenmore wont do anything about it. They offer a service repair. We have been taking pictures of different cycles and the end results. We have a big family and It infuriates me that we have to go to a laundromat to wash our clothes when we have a brand new washer at home.

I have a family with three kids. That means a lot of clothes to wash each week. Love the load sizes, helps me get away with doing less loads. Clothes get washed great, then come out smelling fresh and clean. My washer reliability has been good so far. The different cycles mean I dont have to worry about ruining my delicates, yet know I can trust my washer to deep clean all my husbands work pants. Its a simple appearance. Not hard to keep the outside clean. I usually wipe everything down 1-2 times a week, just to keep everything nice and clean. In my opinion this washer has been a good value. This is a trusted company for my family and I do believe you get what you pay for when it comes to major appliances.

Most of the time it ran just like it should. Once and a while it would jam up or stop working. It was very dependable and got my clothes clean. The one I had lasted many years before I had to replace it. No matter what I put into it, it always did a wonderful job. I would definitely recommend this for anyone needing a washer. The store only had it in very few colors. It did not look very attractive but, got it for what it can do not its looks. As long as it did its job well, like always, its appearance does not matter. It was a bit on the expensive side but, it lasted so long that it was worth what we paid for it.

Bought the Kenmore Oasis Washing Machine, 110.270 and just like thousands of others on this board, my machine started showing an F1 error code. It also started shaking the house and sounded like a rocket taking off during the spin cycle. Just google Whirlpool bearing or Kenmore bearing and youll see many more issues just like mine. Turns out, Kenmore/Sears is doing a quiet recall of the control board. Theyll send a tech out to replace your control board. This procedure takes no more than 15 minutes to complete and the average homeowner could do it themselves in minutes. HOWEVER...What is not under quiet recall is the loud and unbearable rocket sound during the spin cycle. That fix will require that your bearings be replaced on your unit. Is the bearing failure caused by the bad control board? Im not an engineer so I dont know but if I read the 1000s of posts, you rarely see one without the other. So this is where the story gets interesting. According to Sears, Whirlpool offers a 10-year warranty on the Whirlpool tub of the washing machine. The Whirlpool tub hereto now includes the bearings and shaft. Well, guess what? Whirlpool started fielding so many complaints that they made a kit (separate from the tub) that allows technicians to replace the bearings separate from the tub. Guess what? That bearing kit is not covered by the 10-year warranty because its now considered separate from the tub. It will now cost the homeowner $160-180 for the bearing kit and approximately $150-$200 for the service. That equates to roughly $350++ to repair a part that is clearly a manufacturer defect. This defect is so popular that appliance shops have created videos on how to fix the machine yourself. There are many posts about the poor quality of the Whirlpool Cabrio and Kenmore Oasis washing machines - related to the bearing failure and the control board issues. I have lost complete confidence in both of these brands for how they have handled the issue. I will do my best to never purchase either brand in the future.

Waiting almost 2 months for service!! Kenmore Elite - Glass Top Load Washer unit is JUNK and Sears service is WORST! Second time top exploding in three months! I believe this unit is a safety HAZARD and SHOULD be RECALLED!! And redesigned!! Broken glass is dangerous especially around children! I would stay VERY far from this washer!!! SO SORRY I BOUGHT IT!! REGRET BUYING FROM SEARS! PLEASE do not make my mistake? Buying this washer from SEARS!

We purchased the Kenmore Elite Dishwasher, 2 days after the warranty expired, the whole top rack stopped working, needed a technician to come out and charged us another $200 in parts plus the $59 service fee. 6 months later, there is water leaking all over the floor... the motor pump! Been trying to get someone out, they are happy to charge me for an extended warranty that is $222.99 that only covers up to $500 in parts. Have been on hold for over 1hour 43 minutes, been transferred a million times and hung up on twice when asked to speak to a manager. WORST decision ever!!! Sears is the such a joke, will never buy anything form them again. Kenmore is a piece of junk!!! Couldnt be more disappointed!!! Save yourself and your wallet the agony and RUN out of the doors of Sears.

Kenmore Elite Washer delivered in 8/2013. From day one it would stop mid cycle. Oct. 2014 got so fed up babysitting it to make sure it finished that I called for repair. Person said it was a common problem. Tightened wash plate and then sold me a Protection agreement. He said call whenever happens again. Feb 2015, they came out again for same problem. He said I had to ensure I only put like clothes together and that really it isnt a washer for just two people! He also decided to adjust one leg on the washer as he thought that may be an issue also.For the past two weeks, it has started not finishing cycles again, even though I have made sure I only wash like products together, ie jean only, towels only, sheets only, etc. Painful when there are only two of us. After babying this machine all day yesterday, I ran the clean washer cycle. It took three starts and stops. I then tried to do a drain spin to at least get the water out.This morning, I called the repair number for them to come out. This is now the third time on this machine. They are dispatching tech by end of week. 5 days for it to sit with water in it. She also told me to call the Protection Dept. to see if anything they can do. So in the meantime, I have a washer sitting here with water in it. She said to unplug it, let it sit for a minimum of 40 seconds and then try the drain spin again (which I did try twice last night). I will give it a try while I wait for the PA dept. to pick up as they are very busy, according to the recording.

My machine was purchased 02-02-2011. Bleach dispenser rusted and entire top needs to be replace. No matter what size load, UE unbalanced, stops process. Takes hours to get a load of wash done. All issues KENMORE and Sears are aware of yet nothing done. Newest and clincher... transmission ends to be replaced at my expense for the tune of $602.25. Horrible. I think paid close to that for this machine.

This washer is large and handles my kids messy clothes easily. It is quiet and uses much less water than my previous washer. It can handle bulky loads with ease. We have had this washer for 5 years and have never had any issues to the need to call for a service repair. Best part is, if you follow the directions, dirty clothes come out clean! It isnt the most modern look, and it has a lot of different buttons, but it is a practical looking washer. The dial might be a bit antiquated looking, but it is easy to use. This washer is a little more expensive than others, but it is eco-friendly and cuts down on water use, which in drought-stricken areas makes it totally worth it. Plus, it is competitively priced with other front loaders.

It does a great job at washing heavy loads. It washes fast and is not too noisy. It also lasts for years. Once you buy a Kenmore you will not need another washer for a long long time. It works very well. It is very heavy duty and built very high quality. It has never broken down. I had it for about 10 years before I needed a new one. It is very clean and modern looking, and easy to use. It has just the right amount of features without being overwhelming and there are no features that are not needed or that I do not use.
