I didnt love front loading washers. They dont last as long as top loading. And a lot of bending. You also have to worry about the washer leaving a smell... Have to clean it often so water doesnt sit in the rubber suction area. I think the product is reliable. It definitely gets the job done. My clothes come out clean and aint all thats really matters. I have had it about a year and havent had any problems besides water and debris build up in the rubber suction area. I got the washer because I just loved the look. Its white and looks high end. I was happy with the appearance and it is what helped me decoded on which to get when I was searching for a new one. I would say the price is on the higher side but I would say for a a washer like this they are all on the higher side. It was still reasonable just more than I really planned and hoped to spend.

Energy star rating so it save on electric bills. The washer does take has much water so your water bill is cheaper. You can a great amount of laundry into the washer and they are clean.

Economic on water use and energy efficient, quick, stable, cleans well with good array of different cycles, easy to use, load and unload. Ergonomic design fits well with normal counter heights. Durable with ability to handle recurring and high-frequency heavy loads. No maintenance or repair issues since owned. Reliable timer devices and release of additive like fabric softener.Clean lines and ergonomic design, with color choices, that integrate with laundry room design. Dials and doors are placed in convenient locations and add to look of appliance. Price was higher than some competitors model of similar in function and level in line. Cost higher than lower line machines. Reliability and durability balances cost for a good value for cost. They do cost a bit more than others but for the quality of the washer it is well worth the price. I didnt mind paying a little extra once seen how it performs.

Have had it for a while and never had any problems with it. Can not complain about anything. It fits a whole queen bed set, including comforter, sheets and pillow cases. Does a great job cleaning clothes even when loaded fully. Towels are usually heavy so I was worried filling the washer up all the way, but this washer can deal and clean everything. I wash hot. They come out very clean and are soft after drying. I do not need to use extra detergent, just the recommended amount of liquid, or pods. It does look nice. If dust gets on there I can easily wipe it clean with a damp cloths. Color is white but not really bright. Love the front load. I ordered this item online and used a coupon code and a rebate site, so I received a discount on it. I did not overpay and I am happy I got such a good deal on this washer.

I am disappointed that the gentle wash merely beats the heck out of the clothes for a couple of minutes, then stops for a minute, then thrashes them some more. My old Kenmore would agitate nice and slow, almost like a hand wash.

This Kenmore series 700 washer is one of the worst washers Ive ever used. The countdown timer is rarely correct, hardly gets comforters completely clean, ie dry spots on it AFTER you take it out of the washer, which leads me to it NOT washing items completely. I could watch clothes float on top of the water while the agitator spins on the bottom, hence not cleaning them. Unless you use the DEEP FILL option for everything, it doesnt seem to get stuff clean. The only thing I like about it is the size of the washer drum, but if it doesnt clean like the old school washers do, then I may as well just do my wash at the local laundry mat.

I have always purchased my appliances from Sears and felt that after spending almost $1000, that I had a great washer. Yes, my bleach compartment has rusted and also the machine was leaking. Had to purchase rods. Also, it doesnt wash any better than any less expensive model. Clothes wrinkle as others have commented. Also found out that it is really made by LG and Kenmore just put its name on the product. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS WASHER!

My washing machine is very easy to operate and figure out. It also washes quietly and effectively. Theres not a lot of buttons so not much to figure out. My washers reliability I think is great. I rely on it completely. It holds a lot of clothes or towels at once and I even wash my king size comforter in it and I have never had any problems. The overall appearance of my washer is plain but clean. Its just white with silver buttons so nothing fancy, but easy to read the controls. The value of this washer I think overall is worth it. It washes clothes just like you need and washes quietly and quickly and extremely easy to control.

It senses, takes on water, agitates, drains and then it tries to spin but does not, just runs. I have to move the selector to drain and spin to get it to spin. I contacted Sears and Kenmore. They said we are responsible for repair even though the washer has had very little use.

It even works great on some of the toughest materials. I have had this washer for about 3 years and I havent had any problems. It hasnt even clumped out on me yet. It cleans my clothes to perfection and always gets the job done. The appearance is very basic bit still nice. Its nothing to brag about but its nice. Its white all over and have coloring in the words and symbols. Its value was very fair. It was definitely worth every penny I paid for it. It performs at a very high quality for its value. I would definitely recommend.

I dont know how its suppose to save power because it takes so long to do a load and it dont wash the clothes clean either even with a second cycle. Maybe it takes less water but NOT. When I have to wash the clothes two and three times to get them clean. I would not recommend this machine if you have a well. I hate the lid lock. If the power goes out when the machine is going you cant get your clothes out. Twice now I have had to call a repair person to fix the controls after power outages... I really wish I had never bought this machine now. Its the worst washer Ive ever had.

Its quiet and rinses the clothes well with less water. I would recommend this washer. Washer is white with a clear lid that lets you see the inside. Shiny finish and will dent easily if not taken care of. Washers are overpriced these days for not lasting as long as they used to, but I am happy with my washer. Not necessarily the price I paid.

Kenmore 41761723510 - This machine is the most unreliable machine I have ever witnessed, locks the clothes in, cant get them out. You can never know what cycle it is in... if any. Clothes stink. Just keep pushing the button and hope something happens? Now agitates for about 10 seconds shuts down... thats all cross fingers. Maybe get lucky. I will never get another Kenmore in my life. My last one was the same basic model, 15 years no problem... What on earth are these making these days and please tell me there is a class action suit on these pieces of garbage.

It does not require a lot of work or maintenance. So it is easy to throw in load of laundry and go do something else. The washer is ok looking - it is classic looking - white and clean looking - simple not complicated. It does not take a lot of spaces - fits in corner nicely. It is a good value - if I had to take laundry out it would take so much of my precious time - it is so much easier to be able to do laundry at home.

Tech put shipped board in washer. He said it would work until they sent the correct control board. Waited 2 months, no new board. Called Sears and they stated, The board was still on back order and did not know when it would be available. I asked for a replacement. Replacement was delivered. Machine did the same thing as the first machine. Call back and asked for a replacement with a different model. Replacement was $1500.00 cheaper than the original set. (Oh, btw it is now Oct. 2013) Sears will not refund us the difference. The problem was with your product. Shame on you Sears!!!!! I will never purchase from Sears again.

However, I did, and it went out much better than expected. If you are deciding to buy this, you might as well. Not going to lie, I had some doubts about using this. But, I am very happy I spent my money on this washer as it helped a lot when it came to dirty or stained clothing. It was usually very good. Very well money spent indeed. I hope I shall continue using it as it is very important for cleaning my clothing.

With five people in my house, two being teenagers and one toddler, this washer is very reliable. I never worry about having to fix an issue. Reliability in a washer is a must for any household with teenagers and a toddler. The model washer I own is very basic looking, which in my opinion is the best. Basic does not mean cheap since it still functions as a high end washer. The value that you get when you buy a Kenmore is the best. You actually get your moneys worth and more with any and every model. Kenmores worth every penny.

Very reliable because it has never broken down yet, never leaked, always cleans the clothes extremely well, come out smelling fresh, holds a lot of wash per load, it is a nice looking machine. Good quality, looks high tech and innovative, has a lot of options and buttons to select different wash cycles, nice color and premium looking case. I would have to say that this machine has extremely good value because the price was fair, is reliable, works well, is quiet, cleans almost all stains.
I have been troubleshooting with this new washer since October of 2017 and
I have been troubleshooting with this new washer since October of 2017 and I cant get it to clean my clothes. I have had a technician come out 2 times and they cant find any reason why it is leaving a white residue on my clothes, no error code are being indicated as well. I have called Sears and Kenmore asking for an exchange so I can get my clothes clean, that is why you buy a washer. I have spent countless hours talking to customer service only to hear, I will send out a technician to see if they can do a recalibration, clean the tub, now they are going to do a full diagnosis which means check the unit. I have spent up to 6 hours trying to get a load of clothes clean. I did a clean washer cycle then tried to washer the clothes without any detergent or softener and they still come out with this residue. I have tried the deep fill 2 rinse which makes the washer no more High Efficient in my eyes just to see, and nothing. I now have pictures and videos of me trying to clean my clothes and it is getting me nowhere. The warranty that Kenmore has in the book is 30 days from purchase. Who wants to think that they just spent over $700.00 for a washer that did not work so how can you go through the 5 pages of troubleshooting plus the 2 pages of the cycle guide in 30 days. The warranty they have is one year against defect in material or workmanship. I am not sure where the miscommunication is on my call, I keep saying over and over that this washer does not work therefore the workmanship. My first call was to Sears to see how great their customer service was going to be and wow I think I might know why they are slowly going out of business. I then got a hold of Kenmore which is really just Sears so again didnt go anywhere. At this point I have been told that I must have a technician come out to my residence a total of 8 times in order to have Sears/Kenmore consider letting me get a replacement. The technician just hooks up the machine and pushes the buttons and cleans the basin just to say, I cant find any issue but your clothes are still dirty with the white residue. What can I do to get help to exchange my 700 Series Kenmore washer? What is everyone else doing to get resolution through Kenmore? I dont have time to keep taking off work to come out to meet a technician that cant do anything.

This is a great unit and I would tell anyone it is worth the money in terms of performance but that my only drawback is when it takes forever to get anything done. I think you really need to find someone who has this, do a load for yourself and see what you think about it. Great unit but time waster. Definitely cleans clothes better than most but I come back to the time factor and I think others might look at it also so we need to think about this.

Kenmore 700 series washing machine top load with glass lid - DO NOT buy this washing machine! It doesnt put enough water in to wash anything. I tried to wash 5 pair of VERY dirty jeans and they still had clumps of mud on them. I washed a load of towels and the towels absorbed all the water that was dispensed, and the Tide Pod was not completely dissolved! Even using deep fill it will dispense only 3 of water into the tub. I can get it to fill 3 times dispensing 3 of water each time if I stand there and hit the deep fill button, open and close the lid and who has time for that. I am having Sears come and replace this piece of junk Friday!

I purchased this washer years ago. From day one it vibrates heavily while spinning. At lease 2-3 times a year it had to be re-balanced. The machine was installed in a second floor (house) and after years of use, the floor around it is being affected by its strong vibrations. Every year I had to pay out of pocket to maintain the maintenance agreement. This year, after paying 200+ for the agreement, when I called for them to come and balance the machine, they deny the service. I feel cheated, and totally taken by Sears for selling a product and installing it on a second floor, when they knew it was not a good place to put it. I also feel it is unfair that no one warned us about the heavy vibrations the machine does in the spinning mode. Second, I feel cheated by them selling me the service contract by phone and not specifying that it did not cover balancing the machine anymore when they had do so for all the previous years.When I tried to talk to someone in their department, they would not give me any information as to where or who should I contact to complain about the machine. I came about this website on my own and decided to write my experience with Sears and with Kenmore. If anyone knows where I could bring this issue to light, I would appreciate it. The unit seemed to be big enough for weekly washing for my husband and I but I had to break up the loads if my daughters clothes were included. The controls were very easy to read and set, no fancy extra or unneeded options. I liked that it was straightforward and didnt have settings that I would never use, just to appear higher quality. The unit looked fine and did the job it was asked to so I guess it was a good value for the money, although I wouldnt say it was superb quality. The capacity is satisfactory and meets my family of 4 needs in every way. I have been very happy with the modern appearance of this washer. It complements my decor and works well in my laundry room. The visible features are user-friendly and work well. While this was a more expensive washer to start, I have found the water and energy efficiency more than make up for the initial higher cost and I am pleased with the overall savings.

It looks horrible. I take care of all my appliances. I had a previous washer for almost 40 years. I shouldve kept it. It had NO rust anywhere. Kenmore and Sears has cheap, crappy appliances. They are not what they used to be. Think K-Mart quality. DO NOT buy appliances from Sears anymore. If you dont pay through the ** for an extended warranty, you are out of luck. The reason they sell them is because they KNOW their stuff is crap and will not stand behind it. Go to an appliance store where they will stand behind their products. RUN from Sears and Kenmore. Theres a reason they are going out of business.

Its important to break up your clothes into lights and darks. Use bleach w/ the whites and use the black colors with other laundry detergent. Good look. I like the feel and overall value of it. It looks like it could achieve a great deal of cleanliness. Id like the price to go down a bit and am willing to buy a used model. Value is important because it shows the overall need of a product. If it performs well and is at a good price, those are the best of both worlds. Very important in the long run if I will buy a product.

My mother and I both bought the washer from Sears and they broke after one year and four days. They refused to fix or replace because its four days over warranty. Then mothers washer broke the same way as mine, oil leak and water at bottom two weeks after mine. Sears was totally not helpful. She paid for a repairman and had it fixed. Then a week later, it was leaking water from bottom again. Im not pleased at all.

I had a plain Kenmore washer (no bells and whistles) that lasted me 18 years and finally quit. How I would love to have it back. This new washer will never be the washer my old one was. The settings are easy to read and turn knobs too, Im blind/low vision and markings are bold enough for me to see. Baskets are more than big enough to handle all of our washing loads. No extra settings to cluster the facial plates with settings we will never use. Bleach trough in the right place and easy to pour into, big enough to hold recommended amount, softener container in the middle easy to get to, softener lid can be a little hard to get off if you cut your fingernails too short. Product and price was right, have had for 5 years no service calls, bought a set for daughter.

It’s small enough to fit anywhere but large enough to hold a decent load of laundry. Operates consistently well, always cleans all the laundry perfectly. Ive never had to have it repaired in the entire time Ive had it. I can always count on my clothes coming out fresh and clean every time I wash them. This model is small and sleek, fits basically anywhere. Its neutral in color so it matches any room you need to put it in. Its certainly one of the most visually attractive models Ive come across. This washing machine is a good value price wise when you buy it, but it continues to be a good value in that you dont have to deal with a lot of repairs, and it wont cost a lot energy wise.

The problem was that after 3-4 years I had trouble with it and water started to leak and my clothes would come out smelling weird. The first years the washing machine is excellent but a couple years later it starts to leak and your clothes dont come out clean. Especially in my condition, water would leak and it also stopped spinning. Luckily I knew someone who fixes them so I still use it. The appearance is okay. I really like how its white and the window is there to see if your clothes are ready. The size is okay. Its not too big or too small either. Im a little disappointed at the price it was when we got it. The reason is because it ended up needing repairs a few years later. If it would have lasted longer I wouldnt complain.

I purchased this washer based on Consumer Reports and other recommendations. I have had nothing but problems with this washer. Been a little over a year since new and had Sears techs out 3 times. Water leaks out of the overflow valve on the back and floods the floor. Tech says to use low suds detergent which I do. We cannot wash more than 4 towels at a time. Must use a minimal amount of detergent. Can hardly use any detergent when washing sheets and blankets as it goes out the overflow valve onto the floor. Sears tech says its the way the machine is made. Im ready to dump this washer and get something else which is a shame as I have all Kenmore appliances and have always bought Kenmore for the past 40 years. Sears needs to do something about the design of this washer.

I love get more products. It has enough space capacity to meet my laundry needs of a family of six. Four children under the age of 11 means lots of grass stains and dirty clothes. I feel you get what you pay for when it comes to home appliances. This was a bit more expensive but definitely worth it and the warranty it came with.

The hoses didnt break or leak. The machine didnt rust or break down either. I did not need to service it or call for a repair. I only replaced it because I wanted a newer model machine. Not too big where I couldnt fit it in my place. It was easy to move around from one location to another. It is nice-looking and you can watch your clothes if you want to. I dont know about now but it was pretty good for the money when I had it. I got plenty of use out of it, and I can say that I definitely got my moneys worth considering the time.

It looked great, was black with stainless steel finish and just looked fabulous, but it died within three years and took too long to wash one load of laundry, over an hour and a half to wash just one load of laundry. It died completely within 3 years of purchase, which is not near long enough, so it was not worth the money I spent for it.

Did not help at all. Then the leaking all over the floor. I drained the hose after every wash. Sometimes it wouldnt leak and then sometimes it would leak everywhere. This is the worst machine we have ever owned. Ive always wanted a front loader, but I was very upset when I bought it. I didnt get the warranty, because Kenmore has been around for so long and a good company. They really messed up on this product. With the amount of money that you have to pay for a front-loading washer, people should not have to deal with all of the problems that this wash comes with. I will never buy a Kenmore product again.

This washer lasted for more than eight years. It was a very reliable and durable washing machine. I would have purchased another just like it if they hadnt passed new HE regulations on washer sales. This washer was your standard Kenmore washer - without all the bells and whistles. It was a smaller bowl but could still easily fit a full sized load without fail. This washer was worth every penny spend to buy it. It lasted well beyond its perceived lifespan and always did a great job cleaning any load big or small.

I put a twin sized comforter in the Kenmore Elite Series 700 washer by itself because it had throw up on it. I washed it under the bulky/bedding option and selected all of the options it would allow me to (prewash, fabric softener, rinse twice, and stain boost- I would have selected deep fill as well but it wont allow you to when you are running the bulky/bedding setting) and it still had throw up caked up on it when I took it out!!! ALL OF MY CLOTHES HAVE STAINS ON THEM NOW BECAUSE THIS WASHER DOES NOT WASH! I talked to the people at SEARS about this and they agreed that something must be wrong with it since it came out with throw up still on it and told me to have a service guy come look at it. So I did and the guy told me himself that he agrees that the top load agitator-less washers dont clean worth crap. He said this model here is not made for washing blankets or comforters or rugs or pillows- its just not made for that- it wont get them clean so I asked him if it says that it doesnt wash blankets (...etc.) anywhere in the description of the product because had it said that we would not have bought it (for 650$!) because we wash a lot of those things and need them to actually get clean!!! And you know what he had the audacity to say to me?!? He said well ya- just like it doesnt specifically say that you cant wash concrete blocks in it neither. So I said ok but who would even try to wash concrete blocks? He then said its just a common sense thing. CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?!? Instead of admitting that they have been selling a less than perfect appliance and showing some integrity by making things right, they are getting over on us all and will Im sure go out of business soon here. I will be suing.

So they diagnosed and ordered a replacement gear box. A week and half later they came and installed it. It was a remanufactured gear box. Immediately it smelled awful, a horrible industrial grease smell. Within a week it was making a horrible noise. We stopped using it and went out and bought a far superior brand, because I had it with Sears and Kenmore. When the old washer was removed, there was oil all over the floor underneath it. So the remanufactured gear box was total garbage, leaking oil from day one. Poor quality doesnt even begin to describe the washer or the replacement parts. No wonder Sears is looking at selling the Kenmore brand. Its worthless.

Ill try to be as fair as I can without cursing. I really, really HATE my Kenmore high efficiency washing machine. It takes literally hours if not the whole day to wash a single load. And when the cycle complete light says its done and I open the lid, Im usually looking at a load that has not spun and is soaking wet. Ive tried every setting and Im constantly having to come back to the machine to check if its going o.k. I thought by purchasing this machine I would save on water but instead, I end up rewashing loads and wasting time. Its a nightmare. Its a fairly new machine and Im already considering taking it to the dump and buying a new one. I wouldnt want to donate it. Nobody deserves a machine like this. Ive had family members ask me how I like my machine because they needed a new one. I told them not to buy the high efficiency ones. I told them the truth. I HATE IT! I never had issues with colors bleeding and was very happy with the performance of the machine. The machine looked very sleek, too. I have had other washing machines that had issues with the beeping when the cycle was finished, but no issues with this one. And it also fit the color scheme of my laundry room as well as it fit perfectly under my laundry room counter. I paid what I expected for a washing machine of such quality.

Older washing machines we had in the past would give us problems within a few years. But this one we have almost 3-4 years now and havent had one problem yet. I purchased a Kenmore laundry center last year. Quality was clearly not good but I felt OK about the price. After 13 months, 1 month after the warranty expired, the units control board failed locking my laundry in the washer and remaining in a permanent agitate cycle which was incredibly agitating. Estimated repair cost exceeded $600. I learned my lesson about buying cheap crap: you get what you pay for. I am junking the Kenmore and going for a quality unit like Bosch.

I wash my childrens bed sheets and pillow cases in them without a problem (I do however bring our comforters to a laundromat for the extra large washers.) My washer is a nice bright white color and has a clean elegant but not too fancy look to it. Doesnt have a ton of buttons or options to confuse you with. Its easy to operate, even my children can run the washer which is always a plus! I shopped around for the best value around my local shops. I found this washer, read some online reviews on it. This was within my budget and Im very happy with my choice so far.

I never received any type of postal mail is regards to the court action lawsuit nor the settlement action from the class suit against Kenmore & the bad odor from mold in the Kenmore washing machine.Tonight on channel 9 Eyewitness News I just saw the Settlement Action Lawsuit by chance. I went online & filled out the settlement claim online today 9/26/16. I did purchase a Kenmore washer Model: 402 49032010 and Serial No: Y0AG54A2707312M (YOA or Y0A?) in 2006 from Sears store in Gastonia NC and we began to notice a smell a few years later in 2009. I am sending this request because in the initial claim I was only given 3 options of $50 was, 20% rebate, or reimbursement on repairs. I am requesting to ask if we can just ask for a brand new up date front loader Washer instead of any cash, rebates, or % off??? Could I possibly get the name of the attorney that is handling this lawsuit? The odor is sooo bad and the rim gets so much black junk and I have to clorox out the tub so very often. Kenmore Series 500 Wash Machine: Bought this machine over a year ago after my old Kenmore wash machine died. In summary: Its A LEMON. Does not put in enough water to cover clothes, no matter what setting I use and I have had nothing but trouble with it. Ive had the repair service come out 3 times now and Sears will still not put in a new sensor even though the express setting doesnt work at all and the lid stays in lock mode from time to time. **I HAVE TO ADD WATER WITH A HOSE RUNNING FROM MY GARAGE SINK TO GET ENOUGH WATER INTO THE MACHINE TO PROPERLY WASH MY CLOTHES**. I figured this out when I first got the machine and my clothes smelled like I had just pulled them out of a dirty hamper after running them through the wash and dry. Advice? Save your money, do your research and buy and better machine.

It agitates well. The washers appearance is great. It matches well with my laundry room and has features that are technologically updated. It is a good washer and would work well anywhere. My Kenmore washer broke down in 1/2017. I paid a Sears technician $99 to come and tell me that a $600 washer required a $1400 repair. I discarded that washer and purchased a new Kenmore washer in 2/2017 for ~$600. In a little over two years, the new washer began to leak water with every wash to the point of flooding the house and making the washer not useful. The washer is getting used by 2 people who use it for usual clothes/sheets washes for a family of two.After another repair person visit, I was told that the tub is torn and will cost $1400 to replace. So my options are to (a) buy a new washer for $600 every two years, (b) buy a new washer for $600 and then buy a so-called appliance protection plan for $600/year to get a protection plan which pays $500 towards the repair or replacement AND pay the $99 technician fee on each repair. So my question is, as a consumer spending $600 on an appliance, am I expected to pay another $600/yr for repairs to this appliance after two years of life or spend $600 every two years because thats the lifespan of a Sears washer?

This washer has been very reliable through many tough dirty jobs. Id recommend it for anyone looking for good, clean quality for great value and price. This washer is typical in looks but the value and quality more than makes up for aesthetics lacking, just buy it and see people... youll get clean value at a great price. You save time on presoaks plus its less expensive than others that seem to have the same value. It lives up to the value and more.

Its never caught on fire or broken which is good. I guess that makes it reliable. Ive only had it for a couple years though. It has a normal look and it has a normal shape. I guess it doesnt look super old and its white like all washers. It was not super expensive which is what I was looking for. It was great for me to put in a rental and not have to worry about. My renters never give complain about it.

The washer is amazing. It has different spin cycles depending on your preference. It is able to get my clothes nice and clean in a timely manner. The appearance is pretty common. It has the knobs at the top and the washer opens up the normal. The washer is very reliable and I have had not one single problem with it. When I need my clothes done in a hurry it gets the job done very quickly. It is of a good value because of different key components. Some are how the washer works, what are the different features and the look of it.

The machine worked well, fairly quiet, nice rack system, adjustable wheels for after choosing a new tile, easy to clean and hook up took less than 30 min. It did well as long as it was not oatmeal or cream of wheat. The appearance was fine for the decor of the kitchen was flush with the counter adjustable faceplate i.e. Floor plate so held a flush finish even after tiling the kitchen. The size was OK considering the racking system made it easy to load and the design maximizes the amount of storage space on the machine. That particular model was from a small place I had but got as new and used it a lot. I do construction and have purchased some in the past. The value was good if bought in the right place.

Kenmore washers have been in my house since I was a little boy. We would stuff clothes in it as much as we could. It never broke down. However it was chore we all could live with. Even when I went in the military and college I guess I was really because they were always there. Im in the process now of looking for a stack rack model, I hope Kenmore makes them. Now that coronavirus is everywhere you look we dont get out as much. Friends have been suggesting that I could go online and place an order. I tell them I am the kind of person that likes to see and inspect the items I usually purchase. Ordering online I have had my personal dissatisfaction with product that are not as they seem once it gets to your home. The material are not what you see in the picture. Thats why when I buy Kenmore I am confident about its quality and value.

Sometimes I have trouble with it being too full, but it works well most of the time. I have had other washers that didnt work as well and shook and stuff. This is stable. It always gets my clothes clean and the soap isnt left behind on the clothes. I would love to be able to see inside, but this isnt like that. I just know that it is washing the clothes. I would say the price was pretty good for the way that it works. It wasnt the priciest of washers, but I would say for what it does a little much.

Our Kenmore Elite high efficiency top load washer just had a recall and no longer has some of the features we initially paid for. But there are more reasons to avoid this product. There is a rust issue thats now eating into the enamel of the washer at the liquid bleach inlet of our two year old washing machine. Yesterday, based on some other reviews I read while contemplating my two cents, I checked the water temp when the machine was placed on a warm rinse. Guess what? Its cold water. This machine is disappointing and so are the responses given by Sears when you contact them with the concerns. No longer covered by manufacturers warranty. True. Didnt purchase extended warranty. True. But what about product integrity? Product expectation? This washer is disappointing. Ive been a loyal customer for years, but sadly my loyalty has been eroded with inferior products and service.

Kenmore Laundry Center Model 417-61712510: Purchased this lemon last year with extended warranty. It has worked less than it has not worked and Ive had numerous technicians sent out and paid for an electrician to verify it is not my electrical. The machine starts and stops and locks my clothes inside in water and detergent. No amount of resetting breakers can get it to work, but I sense there is an internal reset because whenever the tech comes out he opens the metal flap to gain access and does something and then resets the breakers and it works again. It may work for one wash and then acts up and stops again. It will beep within 5 minutes of starting unit. This has been going on since 12/2016, approximately six months after purchase to this date of 8/4/2017. So here I am waiting two weeks for a repairman to come and unlock it while my clothes are in the machine. This has been a nightmare. The amount of service calls has been mind blowing. Always an explanation why it cannot be replaced... read your fine print. Ive spent more time this year doing my laundry at a laundromat than at home. This unit was purchased May 26, 2016 with extended warranty. Hope no one else will purchase this unit.

I have had nothing but Kenmore Appliances made by Whirlpool for 47 years my first bad experience. I did return to Sears and bought new Kenmore made by Whirlpool, the plain jane this time. I do not want another bearing balancing tub washer as I understand there is a recall on some units because of the failure rate, but not this one. Why Kenmore again, because I trained Searss salesman to sell appliances for 36 years, and cannot change, tried to make myself go to Lowes, just could not---what loyalty. But I am still highly dissatisfied.

Kenmore #61722, 27 laundry center - I needed a stackset to conserve space. My local Sears employee did not recommend buying one. Later, I was where I could read reviews. I did not want buttons at the top. I am 52. I like the stainless steel and size of this tub. I had reservations about a water sensor and reviews of the stacksets being noisy. I now have had this model 5 months. I sometimes need to push refresh to make sure clothes are dry. I can turn off the chime. I wish it had the option just to spin. My roommate says the express was sometimes needs to spin longer but I have not had that problem. NOT noisy. My electric bill has gone down!

Dependable and seemed to hold up to anything that I washed in it from a light load of delicate to a large heavy load of winter snow boots and thick quilts. It also came in enough style and color that it would be impossible to say that someone could not find the right one for their home. So I guess that I would have to say that owning one has been a good experience for me.

Kenmore top loading high efficiency washer model 110.2810 - We purchased this washing machine from Sears for $750 on 12/2/2012 and did not purchase the extended warranty. It is now less than two years old and I came home the other day to find my basement flooded because the outer drum of the machine cracked. The repair person said he could not believe what he saw with this broken part and he felt this was clearly a manufacturers defect. It will cost $600 to repair my 2 year old washing machine. I called Sears to request that they supply the part for free so that I only needed to pay for the repair itself of $300 and was told I needed to call the manufacturer Kenmore. When I called the phone number that was posted by Kenmore I was told that I needed to contact the manufacturer directly as they could not help me. I told them that I thought I did call the manufacturer and they told me that I called Sears. I told them I got the phone number off of the Kenmore website and they said yes, they post that number but its actually to Sears. What kind of customer service is this? They then transferred me to Whirlpool who manufactures Kenmore. After talking with the rep at Whirlpool, she said they no longer manufacture Kenmore and that I need to call Sears because they sold it to me. This is a terrible way to do business. It would be nice if they would manufacture a reliable product that you do not need to purchase an extended warranty for an amount that costs half the price of the machine itself. They do this apparently because they know they are manufacturing a substandard product. This is an American based company and this is truly an embarrassment for our country to have such poor manufacturing supported by even worse customer service. I would sincerely hope that management takes a better look into how they continue to do business.

Now the Kenmore Dryer isnt drying completely. Have to use Heavy duty extra time because home warranty (rip off) refuses to fix Kenmore machines. The washer was replaced 3 mos ago. We bought Maytag. Love it. Theyre pretty reliable from past experiences... With the possibility of my beloved Sears going out of business Im steering away from Kenmore. That make me sad.
