Kenmore Lavadora Garantia
The Kenmore washer warranty will depend on the specific model and purchase date of the washer.
Typically, Kenmore washers come with a one-year limited warranty that covers parts and labor for any defects or issues that may arise during normal use. Some models may have longer or more comprehensive warranties, so it's important to check the warranty information that came with the washer or contact Kenmore customer service for more details.
Additionally, customers can purchase extended warranties or protection plans for their Kenmore washers, which can provide additional coverage beyond the standard warranty period. These plans can cover things like accidental damage, power surges, and other issues that may not be covered by the standard warranty.
As with any warranty, it's important to read the terms and conditions carefully to understand what is and isn't covered, as well as any requirements for making a claim. If you have any questions or concerns about your Kenmore washer warranty, it's best to contact Kenmore customer service for assistance.

Kenmore Lavadora Garantia
W & D are at least ten plus years old. Not a single problem ever. Only time I had an issue with the washer was when I got sidetracked and filled it TWICE with detergent and the bubbles came out around the lid. User issue not the washer’s fault.
My Kenmore washer broke down in 1/2017. I paid a Sears technician $99 to come and tell me that a $600 washer required a $1400 repair. I discarded that washer and purchased a new Kenmore washer in 2/2017 for ~$600. In a little over two years, the new washer began to leak water with every wash to the point of flooding the house and making the washer not useful. The washer is getting used by 2 people who use it for usual clothes/sheets washes for a family of two. After another repair person visit, I was told that the tub is torn and will cost $1400 to replace. So my options are to (a) buy a new washer for $600 every two years, (b) buy a new washer for $600 and then buy a so-called appliance protection plan for $600/year to get a protection plan which pays $500 towards the repair or replacement AND pay the $99 technician fee on each repair. So my question is, as a consumer spending $600 on an appliance, am I expected to pay another $600/yr for repairs to this appliance after two years of life or spend $600 every two years because thats the lifespan of a Sears washer?
I grew up in a family that always used Kenmore appliances so my owning them is just natural. The Kenmore name carries the value. And people I talk to and with feel that Kenmore is a workhorse that makes it a good value. I have kids and animals so laundry is a daily chore. I like that I can wash jeans, towels, blankets and comforters and they come out clean and unharmed. Theres too many times I have used washers that dont always clean consistently but this is one of the best and most reliable. It is very nice looking, too. I have a laundry closet right off my kitchen and it fits in well with my other appliances when the closet doors are open. The dials are sleek looking and very easy to use.
The clothes are washed well and the time isnt too long. It isnt too loud. Theres a lot of space for clothes. The machine is reliable and it washes clothes thoroughly. The sound is loud and clear. The washings leave the clothes damp enough to make the dry cycle quick. The appearance is clean and sleek. Its white but the color makes it look clean. It has a grey stripe and the white makes it get dirty easily. The value of it is satisfying and didnt cost much. It is worth the quality of the machine.
Ive used a Kenmore washer as long I can remember, Ive ways found it to be very durable, and will last until its on it last leg, it is always my first choice. When I am looking for a reliable appliance, kenmore is the first to come to mind.
The product washes the clothes well and doesnt leave them soaking wet. It leaves my clothes fresh! It separates my clothing pieces and doesnt bunch them up together. I can put multiple pieces or items in the washer without any issues. I can put on heavy load and still get a reliable wash. The washer is very reliable. Ive had it for some time. It works like its brand new! And The appearance is simple and chic. It has a nice front which is attractive for a washer. The washer is a front load so I can see all of what is going on while the clothes are washing. This is definitely worth the value. It is more durable than any other wash I have bought in my previous years.
Good appliance, easy to manage and very fast. Made me like doing my laundry, especially because Im a student and I really needed a good washing machine to get away from having to use laundromat. If youre thinking about buying one, just do it, it works! Very reliable, never had a problem with this machine. Super great washer, definitely one you can count on. As a college student I could not ask for a better washing machine when I come home to do my laundry.
It was fine, got stains out but I wasnt overly impressed. The unit was also very loud during the spin cycle. The unit seemed to be big enough for weekly washing for my husband and I but I had to break up the loads if my daughters clothes were included. The controls were very easy to read and set, no fancy extra or unneeded options. I liked that it was straightforward and didnt have settings that I would never use, just to appear higher quality. The unit looked fine and did the job it was asked to so I guess it was a good value for the money, although I wouldnt say it was superb quality. You get what you pay for and I was satisfied with the purchase.
Washes clothes well and is easy to operate. Doesnt go off balance as easily as some of the other washers I have had in the past and is relatively quiet. Washer can fit quite a bit into it. I wash my childrens bed sheets and pillow cases in them without a problem (I do however bring our comforters to a laundromat for the extra large washers.) My washer is a nice bright white color and has a clean elegant but not too fancy look to it. Doesnt have a ton of buttons or options to confuse you with. Its easy to operate, even my children can run the washer which is always a plus! I shopped around for the best value around my local shops. I found this washer, read some online reviews on it. This was within my budget and Im very happy with my choice so far.
My Kenmore Elite top loading washer does not adequately submerge my clothes, especially comforters in the bulky/bedding setting with water. Nor does it agitate and move the clothes around to wash them. The drum simply goes back-and-forth so the same clothes that were on the top at the beginning of the cycle are still on the top at the end of the cycle. Bulky items never change position at all. Furthermore, I do not use bleach, but the bleach container has eroded and rusted all around it. I am not satisfied with how this washes my clothes.
It was very good and cheap. It lasted a long time and was a great experience. It treated the clothes well and they came out perfectly clean and neat. It was very reliable and trustworthy. It didnt go out. It was good and working well and didnt give up on me ever. I loved it a lot and it was wonderful and great. It was really pretty and neat. It looked fresh and cleans. I was so happy that It wasnt bad looking. It worked well and it looked well as much as it treated me and my beautiful clothes well. The price was very good. You didnt have to pay as much as others. You could pay a certain amount depending on which type you have chosen. The value is very wonderful and amazing.
Cleans clothes well and in a short time. Its lasted for some time. I love it. It was a good price and Im glad I purchased it. It has a function for fabric softener and spins great. Although it does not fit my comforter, it fits large loads of clothing and gets them really clean. What a nice-looking washer. Its very clean and white, and shiny. Its modern and fits in my basement. It looks really pretty. I consider this a great purchase and a good value because Ive had it for a while and it works well. It didnt cost much and has a great warranty. It conserves water and uses less detergent.
Kenmore front load washer mcl 417-42042100 - This washer is less than 10 years old and I have had to replace the rear tub section twice because the bearing and seal went out. A $177 part just because a $8 bearing and seal went out, the bearing is not sold separately. The last time I replaced this part, the rear tube section, was about 3 months ago. A short time after I put the new rear tube section along with new shock absorbers it started making loud noises (banging) and vibrating very bad. When I took it apart I discovered that two of the legs of the drum support assembly had broken which also caused the front tub to be broken. The drum support assembly is not listed separately on the parts sheet. It is part of the drum cost $313 and the front tub section is $171. The rear section is about $177 and I have replaced it twice and the shock absorbers once at $57. So the scrap man got the washer and I got a new one, this time a top load. I wouldnt buy a front load washer again. As best I can tell they are all of similar design. Kenmore doesnt make anything. They have someone else make them and put the Kenmore logo on them. Not sure but this washer might be made by Samsung for Kenmore. I would not recommend buying this washer or any front load washer.
It was a front loading Kenmore washer bought from Sears. It started making a noise on the spin cycle and then something snapped inside and it would not do the final spin at all. No support from sears, no support from kenmore. They would not even bother to return our calls. We had to buy a new machine and throw away the old one. Please stop buying products from these two companies as both their product quality and after sales service are extremely poor. At this rate they will soon be joining other out of business companies of yesterday.
I want consumers to know that this washer is not worth the money. Mine has been an issue after the first two years of ownership. The washer smells awful even when cleaned weekly as recommended. The seal is moldy even though we always leave the door open. The washer is a maintenance nightmare. It does clean my clothes but I usually have to run the load twice because it stops with an F-20 code. I am just looking for a washer that will clean and last 20 years like my last one. Neither Kenmore nor Sears is my first choice anymore.
This performance of the washer was great. It was the size of an apartment washer and I loved it and it got the clothes really clean and it was great. This model was very reliable and I would recommend this washer to anyone. It worked really well. People who live in an apartment would do very well with this model. The appearance of this model was just the right size for what I needed it for. People who want to buy, this is really a good buy and it will work for everyone. The value of this product is awesome and I think it had a very good value for me. I think that people will feel the same way if they want to buy this model.
We purchased a Kenmore Elite HE4T front load washer in the Fall of 2005. For the first three years, the Sears service tech repaired the code problem by replacing door lock twice. They replaced the computer once. After expiration of warranty, I had the same problem (F11 door lock failure) and had the service tech replace 2 door locks and 2 computers - on my dime. Just this week, I have the same code problem. I found out if I turned off the washer and waited one hour and restarted the wash, it worked as advertised. I am angry that I cannot receive any help from Kenmore or Sears without paying for service. Kenmore should be responsible in repairing this chronic problem.
Kenmore gets our clothes clean, offers a Vietnam of cycles, temperatures and I am please. Kids do their own laundry so its easy to use. It stays clean and fresh smelling and cycles are fast. It is definitely reliable. Have had to for a few years and we do several loads a weeks. Have not had any issues with it not operating correctly. We are pleased with its functioning capability. Cant say I have seen a good looking or a bad looking washing machine but this machine is attractive. We have had it for a few years and I honestly do not remember what we paid for it but considering it has worked without issues for this long I would say it was good value.
This is the most efficient washer I have had. It has the perfect settings for any laundry you need to wash and I like how the settings are set up on the dial. The clothes come out so clean. I would recommend this brand to everyone. Makes washing enjoyable. It is very reliable. It always does the job needed to do depending on what setting I need and the clothes come out perfect every single time. I also love that I am able to put in a large load if need be so I dont waste energy. It is white, so easy to clean and fits perfect in the area where my laundry room is. It fits with all my other appliances as everything matches. The settings and controls are so sleek that it makes me feel like I have made a great investment. It was expensive but worth the cost because of the fact it uses less water and less energy so I am actually saving money. So even though it was expensive it is worth the price.
I love Kenmore Washers. They do their jobs perfectly and better than any other appliance Ive owned. Theyre highly dependable. They last an extremely long time. They have been around for a long time and I highly recommend them for anyone who wants a high quality appliance from this company.
This is the first time ever in my 67 years life have commented or wrote a review about any product. Kenmore 600 series, triple action, top load washing machine is the worst washing machine I have ever used. It wastes water, detergent, electricity and your time; and you will wind up taking your laundry to commercial washing places after all. It does not have an option for small load water level; Even if you are planning to wash a very small load. After my faithful washing machine broke down after 25 years, I purchased this Kenmore washing Machine. This machine takes a long time to wash clothes (basically just wet the clothes not wash). After I work around the yard every 2 or 3 days I wash my work clothes (3-4 pants and 6 or 7 shirts and socks). I wash them with heavy duty, power wash and 2 rinses. It takes 1 hour 21 minutes. After all, that noise, filling and refilling water, wasting the detergents, the garden soil on my pants knees are still there. I can smear the dirt away with my fingers. Clothes are as dirty as you put them in. Except they are all wet. My wife is so mad for after spending close to $700.00 she has to make a trip to laundromat every week to wash our clothes.
I was happy with them but I dont think they lasted as long as they should have. Bought new from Sears but bought Maytag. Brand had better reviews and were bigger inside. When you have a family you need the biggest. Also bought front loaders, much better.
Dependable and seemed to hold up to anything that I washed in it from a light load of delicate to a large heavy load of winter snow boots and thick quilts. It also came in enough style and color that it would be impossible to say that someone could not find the right one for their home. So I guess that I would have to say that owning one has been a good experience for me.
Without a doubt the worst washer I have ever owned. Thankfully I purchased a protection agreement. Within the last 15 months I have had 5 major repairs. They have now rebuilt the entire machine except for the exterior body. The repairs consisted of the following: Spin Sensor replaced. April 2015. Timing mechanism replaced March 2016. New transmission May 2016. New Basket/Drum May 2016. New Motor Aug 2016.I am now arguing with Sears about replacing the machine but because I have not have 4 major repairs within a 12 month time window I do not qualify. The reason I dont have 4 within 12 months is because they combined the transmission and basket repair into 1 ticket so TECHNICALLY I do not qualify. No worries though, at this rate I am sure to need another repair within the next few months... The technician actually told me this was the worst washer Sears has ever made and they get more calls on this washer than any other. HORRIBLE MACHINE!!!
Have not had any problems with this. It does the job and didnt cost me an arm and a leg to get it. Does not use too much water, and it was very easy to install. I never have to have this services. It works every time and I am completely satisfied with how my clothes are washed. I only use cold water, so this machine is a good choice. I paid somewhere 200 to 300 dollars and I think it is a valuable piece of machinery that has easily paid me back in the time it has saved me doing laundry.
I have one old standard Kenmore washer that has been working and running w/ no issues. Easy to use. No problems. Had it for about 10 yrs now and still running. I think if it ever stops working I will stick to a standard one and not those new ones.
Where can I sign up for a class action lawsuit. I dont want a $50 gift certificate, I want Kenmore to replace the washing machine (Series 700 washer) with something that works as advertised. Save me some water? How about cleaning my clothing properly??? Ive had this machine for 1 year and 10 months and I am FED UP with this. Kenmore fix your problem or LOSE A CUSTOMER FOREVER!!!
It cleans very good. Easy to work. Buttons are easy to press and Works really well. Very pleased. I have not had a problem. I wash clothes at least 3 times a week cause I have a newborn. Washes really good. Its small and fits right in the corner of the basement. I really like this model. Its lightweight. I can move it if I need to. I got this on sale but would of paid full price. Was not expensive at all. And it was worth every penny I paid for it. I really recommend this one.
Its quiet. It makes our clothes fluffy and we enjoy wearing our clean clothes. It has lasted through some mistakes with overloading or the wrong settings and its still working just like new. It is large enough to hold all of our loads as long as the kids do not throw in any extras. Its tough on dirt too. Sleek, modern with a unique style and looks great in our house. The color works well. It goes with everything. The white has not gotten dirty like I expected. I expected our machine to fall apart after a few months because the price was very reasonable but most appliances fall apart if they are cheap, but not this.
We bought a new Kenmore Elite Top Loading Washer 31522 in July of 2014. We noticed that the machine often generated a UE error and we had to redistribute the clothes. But it got where we could not even wash a load of sheets without having to redistribute the load 3 o 4 times. Sometimes just hit Drain and Spin just to complete the load. Even though Consumer Reports usually discourage buying an extended warranty we did buy one for 3 years. We called for a service rep to repair. On the day he arrived I had used my neighbors one year old Maytag which was very similar to mine and had zero problems with getting my laundry done. He said this would not happen with the Maytag b/c Maytag is made in USA and Kenmore is now made by LG in Korea. The repair man said he has to completely rebuild the machine and cost for labor and parts (8 parts) will be $1500.00. The machine costs $700.00. Why would Sears approve a $15000 repair that could buy 2 new machines? I told him that I have to use a laundromat frequently which gets to be expensive and very inconvenient. He said the parts he would be delivered and he would return in 9 days. Sears called on day 8 to cancel appt and left a number to reschedule. When I called to reschedule they said it was b/c their records indicate that all the parts were not delivered but I told her that UPS did deliver 5 additional boxes. I got an automatic call about an hour later saying I was the first appt for the next day between 10 and 12. No one came or called. I called and was told that it was cancelled and needed to be rescheduled b/c their records again indicated that we did not have the tub. We had to go through each piece we already received to confirm. The 3rd appt was made for a week later. We are still awaiting the delivery of the inner tub assembly from LG and fear that we will have to again reschedule. I called the sales agent who sold us the washer and asked for his assistance in getting a new machine. I was told that the only person who can decide if the machine can be condemned is the repairman. This does not seem right to me. Why would we ask the repairman who can charge for the repair be the one to decide if the machine should be fixed? Especially when repairs will be way more that the price of a new machine. I think we have a lemon. He was supposed to talk with his manager and get back to us but then heard nothing. I called again and he said his boss will contact us. Again heard nothing. I called again and had to leave a msg for the boss. The boss left a VMX saying he could not replace the machine, but have to wait for the repairman. I am very unhappy with the machine and especially with Sears.
It is a really good washer machine. It works better than a new one. It leaves my clothing really clean. Im not planning into buying another any time soon. Im really satisfied with my washer machine.
The washer works well and is of good quality. It gets clothes clean and is very reliable. It is a good value and I would purchase one again. The washer worked well with few clothes or many clothes. It agitates well. The washers appearance is great. It matches well with my laundry room and has features that are technologically updated. It is a good washer and would work well anywhere. The price is reasonable for the quality of product. It is reliable and dependable for any laundry need. I would not hesitate to buy one again.
I am getting clean clothes, no tears or wears from machine, great job and not much of a noise. Dryer works nice too, but I do not use it much - prefer natural drying outside. It never gave me any trouble, really reliable and ready to go when I need it. Never malfunction or broke. I would really recommend it and I am happy to have it. It is old fashion and all white, but nobody see it except me because it is in separate room. And I do not care much about appearance as long as it works. By now it cost me practically nothing and still working great, so I am happy with value. It is one of those products that were build like do not do anymore.
I have owned some Kenmore washing machines and they are generally pretty good. I have had some trouble on rare occasions over repairs, the service center was reluctant to fix it. Once when I was having trouble, I had to take in my paperwork and practically force them to fix it. They did wind up fixing it, but it was a hassle.
Great! Worked great. Wonderful performance. Not loud or squeaky. Efficient in power and utility. Would like to own another set. Keeps up with my heavy laundry use. Long lasting impression of greatness. Highly recommend to others. Holds up well through multiple washes and drying. Cost is very much worth it for the great sturdiness.
It is a Kenmore Elite style. Washes worse than a cheap hotel device. Leaves junk on clothes and squeezes the clothes to the point of permanent wrinkles. Other Kenmore have been fine. Not sure what is wrong with this one. It has happened since day one. Called store and no resolution.
The washer does the job well and gets clothes clean but I wish that I had a larger washer. I have a large family and the load size is fairly large most of the time, so I very frequently have to do multiple loads of laundry to get all of it done. But other than the size of the washer capacity, I am very pleased with it. It is just the ordinary plain, white washer. Nothing in particular that is fancy or special about it. It also is in a laundry room, so it isnt out in the open where it is always seen by others. But for the job it does, it was a great bargain and has been well worth the money that was spent for it. It was a very reasonable price because I chose just a basic model.
Its easy to operate. I have lots of allergies to detergents and with the HE washer we always use the extra rinse cycle. Perfect for our home space wise and no excuses for dirty laundry with my girls doing their own laundry. Quilts & bulky items Ive always taken to the laundromat or dry cleaners; cant risk messing up the drum. I have a pre-teen and a toddler in my home, so we have a lot of laundry. This washing machine has survived a long life in this household and I use it to do an average of 5 loads per week, in a good week. It can handle baby clothes covered in spit up, a pre-teens laundry load after changing clothes 10 times per day and even the bedding in our house without problems. With simple controls, it doesnt take a college degree to operate which means I can put other people to work on the laundry and they cant give me the excuse that they dont know how to use the washing machine. This washer has worked nicely for my family of five - we can run it all day with no problems. However, any hair, be it pet or human, that is on our clothes tends to stick underneath the inside rim of the washer, and when I swipe a paper towel around the bottom and sides of the washer, I often find more hair.
Kenmore is a strong and very reliable washing machine. I would recommend this brand to all my friends. I love it and Ive had no problems ever with it. Im gonna keep getting this brand. It can handle any amount of clothes, never too much clothes. A machine everyone should have. Its not the best but it works better and it works wonders than any other machines. This is a keeper. It looks good but Ive seen nicer styles. But who care about looks. I want a strong machine and this ones it. The price is great and the work it does pays for the price already. You gotta spend some money for something to work so its great.
Kenmore 600 series washer - The images here depict a small load in normal cycle. The clothes didn’t get cleaned and that is because they just sit in a small puddle of water. The ad for this washer claims it can wash 21 towels?? Try four. We have to wash loads more than once and quilts are washed three times. The deep fill option is a joke. The worst part is that you end up wasting so much water it’s ridiculous. Kenmore wont do anything about it. They offer a service repair. We have been taking pictures of different cycles and the end results. We have a big family and It infuriates me that we have to go to a laundromat to wash our clothes when we have a brand new washer at home.
I have owned several Kenmore appliances in my life. I have never had much trouble with them. Just the normal wear and tear that you normally go through. Just recently bought a new washing machine because our old one finally kicked the bucket. I had no problem buying another one.
Great performance and works really well and is great for washing and drying clothes all the time. Doesnt stop running. Very reliable.
High efficiency top load washer - Absolute garbage. The most stupid and frustrating purchase of my life. Done with Kenmore!!! Kenmore should fire their engineers and go back to the drawing board. My clothes come out more dirty than when I put them in.
It washes the clothes really well and is very quiet. However you cant add anything once it starts which can be inconvenient at times. I seem to always find a stray towel. The Kenmore washer is very durable. I have not had any problems with it performance wise since I bought it. Everything looks like it was made very solid and built to last. The Kenmore washer has a very modern and trendy look. I really like the glass front door. It is especially nice if your home is like mine and you dont have a traditional laundry room. It was a bit pricier than some of the other models I was looking at but overall for the features and look I think it was a very good deal.
I purchased the Kenmore Elite top load washer in October 2013. Yes, a little late to complain now but I just finally bought another new washer and it made me think to do a review. DO NOT purchase this washer. Since the day we bought it, it has maybe been in balance no more than 10 times! It usually takes 2 hrs to wash a load. It has become the norm for us to switch it to drain and spin after fixing the out of balance 3 or 4 times per load. This is NOT an exaggeration. We tried everything possible to figure out why. We checked the level with a leveler. We did small loads. We did medium loads. And we did large loads. NOTHING made a difference. Biggest waste of money I have ever spent on an appliance. We cant even sell it cheap to someone because they would be knocking at our door after only 2 loads. Please check others reviews with the same issue before thinking of purchasing this washer.
It does not take long to clean what I need to clean. It does not make a lot of noise and is easy to use. I love it. When I bought I was very excited and I most dependently would not buy another washer for a good, good twenty years. It is very, very reliable. I can really count on it to wash every item correctly and in a timely manner every single time I use it. I would never use any brand but this one. It is very, very cute and I love it in my kitchen. It is just so pretty and I really love it. Everyone should buy this washer. It is perfect or anybody house. Washers are really pricey any way so the price I payed was amazing. I even got sweet discount. You really get a lot for your money. You will love it.
Kenmore Dishwasher machine does a great job. Comes from a well respected product line that has been around since my grandmother’s time and has never failed to perform its assigned with efficiency. This product line brings back fond recollections of the machines I used as a child. Handles reasonable loads, simple to use, load & clean. Reliable operation without an overabundance of functions that I neither use or need. Handles all the capacity I need in my day to day life with conservative use of water, soap and power. My main concern with any unit is that it easy to load, and handles the washing with as little trouble as possible. Easy to clean, with a spartan appearance that lends itself to my lifestyle and sensibilities. I especially like the clean lines and simple control features without an attempt at being overly stylish or trendy. Simplicity is my driving concern.
Sears Kenmore model 110.28002011. Same problem as the recall that occurred on 12/18/2012. Recall number: 13-073. Same violent shaking. This is the exact same circumstances that occurred during the recall as report in recall #13-073. Washer purchased new in Jan 2013. I will never buy another appliance from Sears, not to buy and will tell friends and family and social media. Sears do not stand behind the product that they are selling... I will never buy another Kenmore not because of the problem but because of the lack of support behind the product. With all the complaints they received, neither Sears nor Kenmore stepped up to resolve this issue.
This has been the most dependable washer Ive owned in quite awhile. Its just too sad that Kenmore appliances are not very popular since Sears has left the retail world. I was always a Sears/Kenmore customer for all of my major appliances purchases.
I have owned my Kenmore Elite Oasis for four and one half years. The only reason why I had to purchase a new washer was because I lost my old one (a Maytag) when my basement flooded. I thought that purchasing a Kenmore would be a good idea. My parents always purchased Kenmores and never had problems. Boy, was I wrong! After the first year, my troubles began. I have had the bearing replaced 4 times, as well as the computer board and suspension rods. Thank goodness I purchase a master agreement plan each year, since all this had been covered. The icing in the cake happened 2 weeks ago, when again I was getting the UL code. The first repairman came out and replaced the rods and made some other adjustments. He leaves and I start a load, then get the F51 code! I angrily call back and of course had to make another appointment. I was told all they had to do was reset the computer. Repairman 2 comes out and tells me it is more than the computer, it is the bearing. So there goes week 2 with no washer, and another trip to the laundromat. I was then told that my machine qualifies for the lemon clause, and Sears would email me a replacement cost. They quoted me $830, so I just went out and bought a LG machine. Im done with Kenmore brands, they are junks. For all the money and service calls Sears has had to pay on this machine, they could have bought me four washers! It has been three aggravating years owning this machine, and I would not recommend an Oasis to anyone.
My washer has been running well for 5 plus years. I washed several loads of laundry and it always got my clothes clean. I try to stick with medium sized loads. I can get four pairs of jeans and several shirts in mine. Also, I like the simplicity of it, theres nothing too confusing. You have a simple knob and controls. White is the traditional color. I am very happy with my washer. It definitely is worth what I paid for it. It gets the job done. I would recommend this type of washer to anyone.
Last a long time. Washes and rinses acceptable. Has different water levels. Different wash cycles. Fits in a small area. Looks good. Best washer I have ever used. Reliable, runs forever. I have had mine for over 20 years and it has not broken down even one time. Easy to set up, powerful. Appearance was a basic white, top loader, slot for soap in two places, easy to move if needed, not too big so it does not take up too much space. Nice. Considering how long I have been using the washer I say it was a great bargain, thought it was too pricey at first but when you are still using 20 years later it was a steal.
We purchased a Kenmore top-loading high efficiency clothes washing machine June 2013 in order to be more eco-friendly and save on the amount of water used. Although I always use the extra rinse to make sure any detergent is washed away, there has often been a white residue deposited on dark clothes. I use the HE All detergent. Over the plus year-and-a-half there has never been a problem with mold because I always leave the lid up and also sponge away any liquid left in the dispensing cups. What can I do about this white residue left on my dark clothes?
Kenmore HE top loader - I purchased this machine thinking it was way better than my older machine. Im very disappointed, my clothes dont come clean. It only adds enough water to get them wet, sometimes items come out with dry spots. I tried smaller loads and clothes still dont come clean. Some still smell. My husband works in a golf course and his shirts, (which can be quite smelly) still have an odor. I never had this before. Also, my darks sometimes come out with white spots on them which I never had before. My daughter used my machine, who has a Whirlpool and says my machine is awful compared to hers. It doesnt add enough water for the clothes to properly clean. Would never get one like this again.
Mechanically, the machine works fine. Design wise, the agitator does not do a very good job. As a result, a large load does not get agitated very well. I am often forced to split loads in order to get clothes clean.
I purchased a Sears Kenmore HE washer 110.2613. I read everything I could get my hand on about HE washers. Here is what I learned from experience and then confirmed by the washer technician. The amount of water the washer uses is regulated by federal energy use standards. So your new HE washers may have lots of choices, dials, and lights but it will only use the maximum allowed by these regulations. Normal, casual, delicate change only slightly by length of time washed and water temp. Might as well have one button. Most HE washers dont have an actual rinse cycle. It sprays the soap off the clothes! The washer will mix hot and cold water so that the water temperature never exceeds the regulated temperature. True hot water wash is impossible.. You better flush out the bleach dispenser or you will find white bleached dots on clothes in another cycle.A WORK AROUND. Use a fraction of the detergent (2 TABLESPOONS). Never use pods or you will find plastic bits stuck on your clothes. Powder detergent never dissolves completely. Wash everything in BULKY BEDDING or WHITES. Thats the only way to get a decent amount of water. DO NOT use fabric softener but ALWAYS choose the fabric softener button. Why? You actually get some rinse water not just spritzing for the rinse. If available, use 2 rinse cycles. If available use Deep Fill. Be prepared to take twice or three times more time to get your laundry done. Its 1.45 hr to wash one load. If your household has very dirty clothes as in construction workers, I suggest you go down to the river and beat them against rocks. You will get better results than with any HE washer.
Ive had my Kenmore for more than 15 years and it still works great! Ive never had any issues with it and I would have highly recommend this washer to my friends and family. I can always count on my Kenmore washer to work for me. It has never let me down. My Kenmore washer has a nice and basic appearance. Its value is top notch!
Clothes do not stay white. There is not enough water to clean. Mold started almost immediately on the rubber lining. I was told to leave the door open after each wash! Something new and white only lasts a few weeks before it turns grey. We have a water softener so our water is pure. I have you use very little soap in this newly designed washer. The printing came off the front panel after a few months. It is not covered under warranty. I can’t wait to get rid of this machine. Alas, all washers are made the same.
Overall excellent product. Very quiet and cost efficient. Always washes great, energy efficient. Huge loads can be done. Highly recommend buying this product. Very, very reliable. Never not worked properly. Always cleans very effective. Great warranty so nothing to worry about. Highest recommendation. Clean, smooth, good looking. Nice size. Fits very nicely in modern home. Several options on color choice. Good price for the quality you are getting. Very competitive pricing. Definitely worth the money.
We have a Kenmore Series 600 Auto Load Sensing High Efficiency (HE) Low water washer which I am really not liking. It doesnt have a bar up the middle to move the clothes around and the water does not cover and soak the clothes. So there are only parts of the clothes that are getting washed. We have to rewash our clothes 3 and 4 different times to get them fully clean. I am NOT A FAN of HE Washers. I like Traditional ones better where the water flows and I can push the clothes down in the water....the middle agitator has always worked well. Why change something that works well all b/c it uses more water? More water, middle agitator bar, less secrecy is what I like.
Over all its been a good washer, we always leave the door open, but I did see some scum in the seal. It does shake quite a bit when spin cycle is going. It is nice to have a pedal stool under it for storage but the price of them is way too high so I got mine from my neighbor Joe, it didnt fit his so he was nice and gave it to me.
You could probably get your clothes cleaner by taking to the creek to wash them. It is the worst machine. Cant even clean handkerchief with bleach and Tide. Take it out still stuck together. Someone told the corporate morons this cleans better hardly uses any water. I have been watching the cleaning action. Terrible. I will keep this for a year then will buy another brand. Dryer isnt much better. Take new pants off hanger put in to try to get creases out and when it is done you have to iron because it came out so wrinkled like you slept in them. Terrible product.
Kenmore 700 series washer - Love it. Works great. Delivered when they said they would. Professional people and faultless install. Saves water. Tells me to the minute how long the wash will take so I can plan other things. Only question is that since I use non default settings all the time I was wondering if I could reset the defaults. I searched and couldnt find that answer.
Had my Kenmore Elite washer for 10 years now and it is still going strong. Have always enjoyed Kenmore appliances for reliability and endurance. Would definitely purchase Kenmore again. It has many features to meet all your washing needs. Clothes come out clean every time.
It cleans the clothes that I put in it which is a good thing. It also doesnt break. Also a good thing. I like top loaders better than front loaders. Ive never had a problem with it. Its never caught on fire or broken which is good. I guess that makes it reliable. Ive only had it for a couple years though. It has a normal look and it has a normal shape. I guess it doesnt look super old and its white like all washers. It was not super expensive which is what I was looking for. It was great for me to put in a rental and not have to worry about. My renters never give complain about it.
Previously owned a Kenmore Elite 4 washing machine and loved it but finally needed to get a new washer. Went with another Kenmore Elite, model #796.41482410. It does have a “clean washer” setting but it does not work so I use other methods to get the moldy smell out of the washer, plus I wipe the tube out and the rubber ring around the door as they get buildup on them. This is something I never had to do with my original washer. We do clean the filter by draining any excess water and cleaning the filter but the filter never has anything on it. All in all we just don’t feel like it washes as well as our old one which I would take back in a heartbeat. Wish I could have returned this one but we’re stuck with this one for a while.
I will NEVER purchase nor will I recommend Kenmore Elite Stainless Steel appliances. First, the only stainless steel which exists is in the handles on all appliances, everything else is cheap metal. I bought in 2016 the Side-by-Side (both doors developed rust spots within one month), Dishwasher (outside door) developed rust spots, Microwave/Oven combo (both doors) developed rust spots, and Gourmet Hood, which developed rust spots and the lights no longer work. All I did was use the cleaner, which came with the appliances. I built a brand new house and everything within one month had rust. I called Sears, well, guess what, I was over my 30 days so NO WARRANTY on the rust. I called the store and Were sorry to hear that. No discount on my full purchase price either. My husband, who is a builder, said they are more than likely storing the appliances in a damp warehouse and its cheap metal, as steel doesnt rust. In the past, I purchased GE Profile and no problems. Here I have a new house with old looking appliances.
This washer had a strong agitation cycle and I never needed a repair. Easy to use knobs. Never had to explain how to turn it on. My clothes always came out smelling good and looking fresh. I could wash a decent sized load of dirty clothes in this washer. I never needed a repair and the agitation was strong and reliable. The water flowed freely and the knobs were easy to understand. This washer was a simple washer in looks. Even though I could have gone for something more spacey and futuristic in looks I was very happy with its performance and easy to understand knobs. Looks arent everything. I think in this day and age we spend too much money on things that break down over time. This washer was sturdy and reliable and I never needed a repair so I am satisfied with the amount of money I paid for it.
It did exactly what I paid for the washer to do. It was able to wash my clothes in a quick and efficient manner. I have absolutely no complaints to report about this washer. I usually have quite a few loads of laundry, as I help raise a good size family. I used to have to wash loads separately. This washer is able to handle much larger loads easier. The washer looked like a typical washer. Absolutely nothing out of the ordinary with this product. I did like the clear door, so I didnt have to open the door to check my wash. I did not have to break the bank for this washer at all. I forget exactly how much I paid for this brand, but I do know I already have it paid off.
I am completely dissatisfied with this machine. It tangles and twists my clothes even on the delicate cycle. It does not clean our underwear. I have terrible yellow stains on my towels, and it does not clean the makeup off of my washcloths. I have to constantly reset it if washing towels or bed clothes. I have also noticed rust around the edges of my bleach fill. The softener does not empty correctly. I have no positive comments. This machine cost a small fortune, and I am ready to throw it down a hill! I had a Maytag prior to this machine that worked wonderfully. Piece of junk!!
I purchased my Kenmore Heavy-Duty washer and dryer set the next week available after I got married in Feb 1976 (seventy-six). That makes it about mid-March 1976. Here now in Jan 2020 I can truthfully say that I never had one speck of trouble from the set until now when the washer stopped draining. Having a Sears repairman respond to fix the problem revealed that it cannot be repaired. I must now try to find another Kenmore Washer. Admittedly, I did not use it on any routine regularity and once not used at all when in an apartment without a hookup for a couple years. But, I suspect I won't need it to last as many as 44 more years since I'm now 73 years old. It worked just great for me!
They have been reliable and have always got the job done. I have never had any problems with them or had to get them repaired and my clothes always come out clean and smelling fresh.
I thought I would never have good smelling towels again and the washer did the trick. It can really hold a lot of clothing inside. Overall very happy with it. Its performance is long lasting. This washer is very reliable I can always count on it to wash all of my heavy loads of clothing exactly when I need it. I hardly ever have any technical issues with it. This washer has a generally attractive appearance. When I originally bought this washer it was on sale and I think I am satisfied with the value of it. The warranty is great and its worth the money to have fresh smelling clothes.
We bought a Kenmore front load washer in 2012. I was so excited and didnt even consider another brand, as Kenmores last forever, right? Sears has always been a company that has sold quality products and built a large company due to repeat customers. I was baffled re the lock button not releasing after the load was done and also the standing water staying after the rinse cycle periodically. This from day one of purchase off and on. I have given my manual a workout in the past two years trying to figure out what I am doing wrong. Because based on being a third generation owner of exclusively Kenmore appliances, a two year old Kenmore washer would never have broken!A few months ago the standing water issue slowly progressed to the point of not spinning at all when the rinse cycle began. Out came the manual, again and again. Of course, the lock button wouldnt release due to the water level, so I drained it numerous times from the hose in the trap door. This takes over an hour and the hose is so short you have to use small containers and hope you can get one to the sink while holding the hose closed with your thumb. Then the nd error started coming on for a couple of loads and then it wouldnt do anything but hum - I cleaned every hose, snaked the drain, etc. I then called the water company who spent a couple of hours checking out the drains for roots while I tried to save the load of mildewed towels from my last load. They got a kick out of my bleach buckets and even the wheelbarrow filled with laundry :(After all options were gone I contacted Sears who sent a service tech out today. I spent $202.00 on a new drain pump with an option of buying a year warranty for almost $400.00!!! It would have been more, but I found a 20% off coupon for service calls online. I cant afford the extended warranty and even if I could, a year isnt worth that much. I am so upset, as I know I bought a lemon and am waiting for what is next. Sears, dont break your cycle of standing behind your products. I strongly feel I should be reimbursed. Please contact me.
It works great. Its economical with its water usage. This sure is a reliable product. I have not had to contact a repairman, which would certainly be expensive. I really do enjoy and trust my washing machine. I am a very proud owner of a top loading Kenmore washing machine. I used to have a front loader, but it was very prone to growing mold and mildew. My current washing machine never lets me down. I did not have to pay a fortune and there have been no repair issues. I highly recommend.
Ive had my Kenmore front end loader Elite Quiet Pak smart wash & smart heat for close to if not 10 years. No complaints... No repairs, outside of the fact the washer isnt as quiet as I would like, it does a wonderful job!! Tops in my book, every type of cycle and cleans beyond the the normal washer.
Kenmore Elite Oasis He Repair - Purchased this washer about 6 years ago. For the last 3 years has had difficulty filling and draining. My clothes come out dingy and dry in places at times. Takes 10-12 days for repair appt. When a part is needed and not on the truck, its another 10-12 days to order a part, then another 10-12 days to book a repair appt. That means no washer for 2-4 weeks for each repair. Going to the laundromat for 10 loads gets old. Sears warranty replacement guarantee only kicks in if a major part was replaced 5 times in a calendar year. They have been out several times for the problem, but because no major part replaced it doesnt count. Have gone to Customer Care numerous times without success. Frustrating.
To put it mildly, I am totally fed up with this Kenmore Top load series 700 washer. More often than not, I have to repeat an entire wash, as I just have, but for the third time (same load) because the clothes come out with a scuzzy residue all over them. I have tried deep fill, two rinses, etc. etc. Nothing works with any consistency, and it is ludicrous to have paid almost a thousand dollars for a machine which, from its first day, refuses to wash clothes satisfactorily. Is there no way to make Kenmore accountable for marketing and selling a product which is such a miserable failure?
Our Kenmore Elite high efficiency top load washer just had a recall and no longer has some of the features we initially paid for. But there are more reasons to avoid this product. There is a rust issue thats now eating into the enamel of the washer at the liquid bleach inlet of our two year old washing machine. Yesterday, based on some other reviews I read while contemplating my two cents, I checked the water temp when the machine was placed on a warm rinse. Guess what? Its cold water. This machine is disappointing and so are the responses given by Sears when you contact them with the concerns. No longer covered by manufacturers warranty. True. Didnt purchase extended warranty. True. But what about product integrity? Product expectation? This washer is disappointing. Ive been a loyal customer for years, but sadly my loyalty has been eroded with inferior products and service.
The Sears elite washer rusted out totally where bleach dispenser is.
The performance of this Kenmore washer was amazing. I never expect such a quiet washing machine. My family loves to use it and I have lately fun to use it. This Kenmore washer has the best performance I ever had in washing machines. I could not make a better decision on a washing machine like this device. The appearance of my Kenmore washer is just great, it fits perfect in my kitchen to all other appliance I have! The value of this Kenmore device is just fantastic! I got this appliance in Home Depot for a good sale price and on top a rebate. I was just happy with my purchase.
I purchased a Kenmore Top Load washer in 2010. I have hated this machine since the day I bought it. It doesnt clean the clothes if they have any kind of soil on them, I have to run them up to three times to get them clean. The machine has had issues that cost me as much as I paid for the machine to fix twice since I purchased it. It is a lemon. I will never purchase another washing machine from Kenmore again since I cannot afford to fix a machine that shouldnt break so often.
Kenmore washer never with hot water - It does not wash with hot water! Cold only! I turn the dial to hot and its never even warm! That may be why it locks. I want my old washer back!
On July 25, 2011, I first called Sears to report that my Kenmore Elite H5t washing machine was not working. The error code was an F35, which means the overflow switch needed to be replaced. An appointment was scheduled for August 3, 2011. My daughter sat home for hours waiting for the tech to arrive, which they never did. They claimed that they called both my home and cell. No such calls were placed, as I have caller ID at home and my cell identifies the phone number. When asked why they never showed up, I was told by Sears Service that the appointment that I received was a forced appointment not a saved. I was a bit taken back by their answer. Wow! I had no idea that an appt took on a totally whole new meaning; where was I when this took place.Anyhow, I had to reschedule another appt for August 10, 2011 and made sure I requested a saved appt this time. I further told Sears Service that there was not only an F35 code but now an F20 code as well, which means an inflow water restrictions. I told Sears that there was no water restriction into the machine nor was there a drop in water pressure. When the Sears Tech arrived on August 10, 2011, he replaced the overflow switch and told my daughter that the machine was fixed. Yet, when I attempted to do a load of wash on August 12, 2011, the machine was showing the F20 again. I called Sears Service again and told them that the Sears Tech never fixed the problem with the F20 on August 10, 2011. Sears Service informed me that there were no notes on my file of the Tech performing a diagnostic test, in which he should have done to determine what was causing the F20 code. So I had to schedule another appt for August 22, 2011. Mind you, I made sure I asked if this appt was a saved or forced appt. I was now told by Sears Service that they had away with the forced appt sometime in the beginning of August 2011. I was like this is unbelievable. When the Sears Tech (Jeff-excellent tech) arrived on August 22, 2011, I told him that I believed that it was the PC Board that needed to be replaced because the display panel was showing all sorts of characters and shapes. He did a diagnostic test and confirmed that the control board did need to be replaced and would order the part and that another Sears Tech would be back on August 31, 2011 to install the control board. I told Jeff that I would be contacting Sears Service to confirm said appt. I did such on August 24, 2011 and all was confirmed with the Sears Service Dept for August 31, 2011.Well, August 31, 2011 came and guess what? Once again, the Sears Tech never showed up or even called leaving my daughter waiting for hours again. By this point, I was livid and demanded to speak with a Sears Service Manager. The Manager apologized and offers me a laundry credit for every 7 days that Im unable to use my machine but fails to tell me that there is a cap on this laundry credit of $100. I informed the Manager that the time constrains that Sears places on its customers waiting for a Sears Tech to arrive is unreasonable and especially for people who are key employees of their company cant leave their job or are made to wait for hours for Sears to show up. More so, it put my daughters new job at risk because she had to request 3 separate times off from her job for a Sears appt; of which 2 of the times Sears never showed up and the other time the Tech never fixed the machine. Her employer told her in a joking fashion that she was making a lot of demands for a new employee requesting so much time off. The Sears Service Manager apologized and now offered me a Saturday appt. This was news to me, as I was told in the past that appts were only scheduled between Monday-Friday.Now an appt for Saturday, September 10, 2011 was scheduled for a Sears Tech to install the control board between 8am-12pm. At 9:37am the morning of my appt, Sears left a message on my home phone that they were experiencing a high volumes of delays in the field and would not be at my home during the scheduled time but later. I immediately contacted Sears Service requesting to speak with a Manager but each time I was disconnected. By the fourth call, Sears Service assured me that I would not be disconnected. Well, they did not disconnect me. However, what they did was, instead of connecting me to a Manager, they connected me to another irate customer that was also holding for a Manager.I finally gave up! The Sears Tech (Jeff) finally came that day and replaced the control board and did a complete diagnostic test of the entire machine and told me that all was good. I proceeded to do wash by the third load the machine was now displaying an F17 code. I contacted Jeff on his cell and informed him of this error code F17. He told me that there is no such thing as an F17 with this washing machine. I was like Jeff I do know how to read and it says F17. I took a picture my washing machine with the F17 code flashing for proof (date and time of picture was 9/10/11 @ 5:37pm). Jeff told me to stop the machine and restart the wash cycle, I did and the same thing again an F17; the wash just stops in the middle/end of the cycle leaving the machine full of water with wet clothes. Jeff told me that I would have to make another appt with Sear Service. At this point, I am so livid, I contacted Sear Service and told them to just give me a new machine and be done with it already. They informed me of their lemon law that the machine has to have 4 separate problems within a 12 month prior, before they will even consider replacing it. Heres the kicker, ultimately even after the 4th time, its up to their discretion if they want to replace the machine or not. I am so done with Sears!
Its a very good washer. Very strong and well made. I really like it. Its been a very good one made strong and to last. Id buy another if I needed to. Great service. Its long lasting and does a great job on washing your laundry. It was made by a good company and has last me a while now. Id buy the same brand if I needed to. Very stylish, fits in with my home decor, just the perfect color and design. They make their product nice and appealing. I love the way they make them. Very good value, not real expensive. Its a good price for something that does a great job. I would suggest everyone give them a try. I think I got a fair deal on mine.
I have had this washer (Kenmore 50.0 washer top loader) for one year. They have been back to fix it for the fourth time for the same thing! I dont get it, you pay to have the warranty, they come to your house, and are back for the exact same thing. They arent fixing the problem. I tried to talk to the repairman and in his words, Lady, anything you buy nowadays is junk. He even told me that whoever I called and complained about my problem, they dont want to hear it, so they tell you to talk to the repairman about it to get the monkey off their back. Real nice Sears! I wont be buying another thing from you. You dont show up when you’re supposed to and just feed you a line. Im done and wont recommend you to anyone.
I loved Kenmore because it always worked and was reliable. I had it for a long time and never had to repair much. I only had a few issues which were temporary and probably from my own wear and tear. The machine was recommended by a family member. They knew that my old washing machine had broke and decided to tell me about a sale at Best Buy. I got it about 20% off and I really got my money’s worth from this machine. It worked for a long time, but it was cheaply made and it had a lot of other problems cosmetically. It could have had stronger material or make it out of better things for large families and the wear and tear they bring.
Its pretty basic if youre just normal level for cash. It gets the job done but could do better than I say sometimes. But its good enough for what I have paid for. It could last for an estimate of 5 years but dont take it from me. It just depends on how good you take care of the washer, since thats what I own. The appearance is pretty good for what I paid for. Better than those old-looking ones back in the day so its not as bad. My mother wasnt a fan but I sure was. Probably didnt care that much since I was young. But I do have standards. I had to get it looked at a few times before but now it runs pretty good.
Kenmore 3.5 cu ft. top load washer. Brand loyalty from previous appliances was the reason for the purchase. Had the washer for 8 months, and theres NOTHING to like about it. It rarely puts in more than 3 inches of water, so the clothes are just rubbing against themselves causing pilling, twisting, and tangling. Sheets and long sleeves are always so twisted in knots you have to stand there and untangle. (With shirts this means ironing is usually required.) And, do we really know how clean anything is if all its doing is rubbing against other pieces? It reminds me of women banging their clothes on rocks at a stream. Yes, there is a setting called Deep Wash which puts in 5 inches or less of water, (measured with the wet clothing also in the machine) and clothes still spend all their time rubbing against each other. This is Not due to over-loading, as I rarely have more than half or two-thirds of a tub-load of dry items. The setting called Bedding or Bulky, eventually, after 10 minutes of spinning, and occasionally adding a bit more water, gets enough water in to keep the clothes from rubbing against each other, but by that time the cycle is mostly finished and the clothes and/or towels have spent the majority of the wash cycle just being banged against each other. But this cycle does not spin the clothes very dry, and so sometimes with jeans or towels you need to go back and turn it on again to an additional spin cycle. After using the machine for awhile I now know the salesperson knew nothing about how it actually worked. For me it has added LOTS more work by having to go back and add a additional cycle, by now requiring ironing of mens shirts; and for having to separate and hand-wash knits, sweaters and delicate items as they cannot be included in a regular wash, but are way too few for their own cycle.
I have had this washer about seven years and I bought it used. To this day it still works. It is what I use weekly to do our laundry in. Im very satisfied with it. I can get a full load in there. Sometimes Ive overloaded it but other than that it works great as long as I dont have too many dirty clothes in. It does have a few nicks and dings in it. Couple of rough spots too but it washes out of clothes just fine and to me thats all that matters. Even though it is probably 15 years old I would say the value of it would be at least $100 because it works perfectly. I just pulled out a trash bag full of winter clothes with jeans and coats and was able to get a huge black trash bag washed into loads of laundry.
Works great, very durable. Repairs have been minimal. Dryer has not needed repairs since I bought it. Washer had a relay switch go out. Repair was not costly.
The performance was awesome. It cleaned my clothes really well. It wasnt fancy which made it extremely easy for me to use and to teach my young son how to wash clothes. It was extremely reliable. I never had any issues with it ever. I was able to wash big loads which is a plus for me because I am so busy. The appearance was basic. I prefer the old style appliances compared to the newer ones that are hard to figure out. It was very easy to clean the inside and outside. It is not very pricey and gets the job done easily. It is worth every penny. I would recommend it to anyone who has a tight budget and wants a great product.
Our Kenmore Washer has held up very well and gets clothes clean. It is quiet and has needed no work or repair. It looks good and easy to use. Even my kid can handle it and that says a lot. Its easy to maintain and keep clean. Its a well designed and good looking washer as far as washers go. This washer has great value, because it still looks and runs great after a long hard run.
We bought the washer used and have now had it for 3 years. It is very dependable and it dries large loads of laundry, like my king sized bedding sets with no problems at all. It has a few surface scratches from the last owners, but that does not affect its performance at all. Im happy with it and we have definitely gotten our moneys worth out of it. I would not hesitate to buy another one tomorrow if need be and would recommend Kenmore Washers to anyone.
This is an HE, top loader, without agitator machine. It has no presoak cycle and I miss having one. Additionally it has no softener dispenser. It came with a softener ball which got lost with the passing of time. Had I more shopping time I would have not purchased this machine. On a positive note, it has been reliable and in ten years has had only one repair.
I like that I can set the washer to start later, like an hour or two up to 12. That way I can go grocery shopping and when I get back the washer will still be on. My complaint is that Im not supposed to cover the center (theres no stick anymore) where theres a metal button. If it gets covered, like when I wash sheets and blankets, it wont drain. Itll actually take more time by re-rinsing and not draining so my sheets and blankets come out soaking wet. They never spin dry either. Id like there to be an option to spin only. Right now I have to select rinse and spin, which uses more water. That kind of defeats the purpose of it being HE.
Our machine cleans clothes well, uses little water, runs quiet, and can handle large loads. I especially like the bedding cycle, and the ability to stop the wash cycle to add extra clothing as well as the many other cycle options for different kinds of wash loads.
Purchased Kenmore Washer Model 2510 kept leaving soap in clothes. White marks and streaks in black or navy colors. I use 1/3 of the amount of HE soap recommended. Returned for a newer model after 4 repairmen came out. Now I have the next generation Model 25132. Still have soap in my clothes. The low water high-efficiency washers are AWFUL! The repairmen keep saying I am using too much soap or add water to washer or run it again. How can this be High Efficiency?
Kenmore Elite Oasis Washer - We have always bought Sears Kenmore appliances, and purchased the maintenance contract. The repairmen that have been sent out on a lid locking problem have not been able to resolve this issue. This started in August, and the last two appointments have been cancelled the day of the appointment (when my wife called the 800 number to find out what time the repairman would be at our house). Currently the laundry room is stinking, the entire first floor of our home because the water is stagnant and will not drain. The 800 number has made an appointment for our washer to be repaired on December 8th. This is the longest we have ever had to wait the first floor of our home should really smell great by then.
It wash all my clothes. Come out clean, smelling good, fresh scent. No dirt left on the shirt after work done. Not overflowing. Just washing clothes. You can overfill it and it keeps working wash after wash. Just dont put too much soap and it will overflow if you do. Love it. I will buy one again when I need to buy one in the future. It fits almost anywhere. Its well worth the money. It comes with a warranty money back if something goes wrong with it but it wont. It work good.
