Started getting PF error. Wife called for support. No one could provide support nor did they want to. Said it was against policy to provide troubleshooting, but they would be happy to set up an appointment for around $129. The washer only has a 1 yr warranty. Anything that you pay more than $500 for should cover parts for at least 3yrs. The staff at Sears stated, you should have got the extended warranty babe, nothing is made like it used to and your lucky if it last 3 yrs. I was able to reset and get it going for a few days but it has stopped working again. Believe there is an issue with the control panel.

I have had this washer for about 4 years and I have never had any problems with it. I have used the cleaning feature which does a amazing job. I bought the silver one that matches my other appliances. I like the look and style of the washer. It has a very classy look. I enjoy telling and showing my friends and family. It is comparable to other washer similar to this one. I feel like overall it is a great washer.

Reliable machine for normal laundry loads. Never scorches. Gets clothes completely dry in a reasonable amount of time. Has settings for regular, permanent press and delicate. It is not ultra stylish, but then you dont have to pay a designer appliance price. A reliable, competent machine that gets the job done right. It is easy to operate and has a clean, modern appearance. This machine is a good value for the money.

Takes a good size full load and washes completely and doesnt leave any soap after every wash. It’s a very reliable on all levels. It rinses all the clothes very well and spins evenly so theres no heaviness after each load. Leaves every load manageable. It looks like a well-built product and has fast dials on the front to use and easy to understand. Each setting use cold or hot water setting. For the one is single and starting out on their own it is very reasonable in price and offers good financing and last at least three years and has a good warranty.

We purchased the Kenmore water/energy efficient washer and we wash on either room temperature or warm water. Laundry most of the time come out not as expected with unclean chocolate stains as an example. Also, we were told by Kenmore that we have to run the express cycle (Very hot water) with vinegar in the detergent pocket to remove residual detergent and to improve the washer ability to clean even normal day to day stains. We are not happy with our purchase. Another aspect that made us unhappy is the annual PM included in a 5 year warranty (paid extra) that often the subcontractor is sending washer-untrained technicians to perform the PM.

Would recommend this washer. I have found this washer to be very reliable and have had no repair issues. It gets my clothes very clean and I have had no problems in that regard. The capacity is satisfactory and meets my family of 4 needs in every way. I have been very happy with the modern appearance of this washer. It complements my decor and works well in my laundry room. The visible features are user-friendly and work well. While this was a more expensive washer to start, I have found the water and energy efficiency more than make up for the initial higher cost and I am pleased with the overall savings.

My Kenmore washer has been 100% reliable since I bought it, no warranty issues, no failures, at all. It will be 18 years old in August 2020. I am getting a little bit of surface rust underneath the bleach dispenser, but I will clean up and repaint the tiny rust spot this summer. I cant vouch for the new models, but mine has been perfect.

Kenmore Elite Oasis HT Model 11028081700 - I have had to replace the bearings once and it needs them replaced again. It sounds like the washing machine wants to take off like an airplane. Of course, the warranty and extended warranty have expired. Now the clothes dont get as clean and sometimes the rinse cycle leaves the clothes full of soap suds. I always thought Kenmore was a solid product but I will likely never buy another one.

It is reliable and well made so worrying about issues is not necessary. All of the functions are easy to read so you can be sure you are doing what you want, too. Lastly, the washer is a good value. I got what I expected for the price that I paid. I would recommend this washer to others if they needed one.

Gets extremely dirty clothes clean in one wash. Low energy so my utility bills arent high. Great look, and easy to use buttons. Not extremely loud like my previous washer. Definitely big enough to fit all my standard washes. Sometimes my king size comforter can feel like a tight squeeze and the wash isnt the absolute best but it definitely works. Definitely looks great. People always notice it when they see my laundry room. Definitely a nice looking unit not a dated look of some washers. For the cost with the energy costs, its look, and how good the washes are this washer is definitely worth the buy. For its price its hard to beat the combination of looks and features.

Our Kenmore Elite Dishwasher purchased from Sears is less than 3 years old. Since the very beginning the door was very hard to open putting significant pressure on the flimsy plastic panel above the latch. It started to crack a year ago so we were very careful. However this week the plastic panel and latch just crumbled in our hands. Use of the machine is fairly low since there are only two people in the household. Seems unreasonable to pay for repair given such poor design.

My mother-in-law also comes and tries it out, and now she is going to buy her one because it is easy to open the door and load the washer. It washes the clothes really well. Great and clean easy to put the detergent in the slot. It’s got plenty of room for the clothes to spin and wash. Easy to manage, easy for people to use.

My husband and I purchased a Kenmore Elite HE top load washer in May 2013. The clothes never seemed to be as clean as before and the cycles seem to take too long. After a short time it started flashing the out of balance code constantly, next the washer would shut down, it continued to get worse. I called Sears after a load of towels took 14 1/2 hrs to wash. We had bought the extended warranty that would cover repairs, and laundry service if needed, so they sent out a tech after waiting 10 days. He told me the washers really had a design flaw, plus Sears had sent a part out ahead of time that was totally useless. He ordered a new part, try to do what he could but washer was just as bad with stopping and lucky to even get one load done in a day. He came back after 2 weeks, put the new parts on, first load after he left stopped. I called Sears back and assured me the washer needed struts to prevent being out of balance. Struts came, put on after 2 weeks waiting, put a queen size set of sheets in to wash, it stopped. That load went for over 31 hrs! I called Sears and told them about the problem, they said a new part was ordered and told to hang in there. Really after 6 weeks and it still not working. I told them it was time to replace and they said no and that my laundry benefit with my warranty was only a courtesy and would only cover up to $25.00 a week up to $100.00 max. They dont acknowledge the fact of my inconvenience, the cost of power and water of a washer running for such extended periods of time, but they are not willing to help anymore than that with laundry expense. When I brought up the fact 6 weeks of laundry for a family of 5 would cost more than $100.00, the very rude manager on duty threaten to take the courtesy of the table. There definitely needs to be a class action lawsuit against Sears so consumers can get their money back.

This is the worst washer (700 washer) I’ve ever owned. Unless I use deep fill and second rinse for every load half the load comes out dry and unwashed. Also (maybe my mistake) I cannot reach the bottom of the machine without a step stool. For such a deep basin it appears that it fills about 2”. So by using the extended options I see no efficiency or economy needless to say an hour and a half per load!

Months back a sheet wrapped itself around the agitator and it snapped right off. Called Sears and was told they dont have anyone in our area, Sears transferred the call to another company who said they dont have anyone either and I should call Sears. Needless to say, its still not fixed.

The unit seemed to be big enough for weekly washing for my husband and I but I had to break up the loads if my daughters clothes were included. The controls were very easy to read and set, no fancy extra or unneeded options. I liked that it was straightforward and didnt have settings that I would never use, just to appear higher quality. The unit looked fine and did the job it was asked to so I guess it was a good value for the money, although I wouldnt say it was superb quality. You get what you pay for and I was satisfied with the purchase.

The washer is easy to use because you can change your wash load settings and youre able to put as much laundry in the appliance. There are multiple settings and your clothes will always smell fresh. The washer is always available to use and it is made from powerful material so that the water doesnt go to the outside cover and initiate water rot. You can also combine whites only with colored pieces of clothing without worrying about the colors bleeding into the whites. The appearance of the washer is just a simple design with some options to choose your load of laundry, how hot or cold the water is needed, or how you want the laundry to wash your clothes (which is using a gentle setting or a rough setting). Although the washer has a lot of features included and does a lot of things to the laundry to make it fresh and clean, the appliance is too expensive. So I wish the price was lowered down so everyone could afford to buy this brand and model.

I have had this Kenmore Elite Top Load washer approximately 2 years. The washer cost was on the high side but I thought I deserved a nice washer since I wash a lot of clothes. Immediately I noticed that the clothes didnt appear to get as clean as with other washers Ive used. The washer was constantly getting out of balance. There was a recall and a gentleman came to my house and did something to the washer to prevent the unbalance issue. The washer still gets out of balance constantly and again my clothes are not getting as clean as with my other washers. I wish Id saved my money and bought an older washer with an agitator or possibly side loader. I am very, very, disappointed with my purchase and will NEVER purchase another Kenmore item again.

My other washer broke. Checked reviews and found this. So glad I did. Real quiet and has great settings. The review was right. I dont mind laundry day now. It has enough space for a good size load. The towels I still keep in a separate load habit but its big enough to include some with others. Would be nice if they came in different colors but controls dont stand out and it fit easily in the door. A nice blue would be nice. Good value. I shopped around to about 3 different stores. Asking about price matching does help if its not in stock where the price is lowest.

The problem was that after 3-4 years I had trouble with it and water started to leak and my clothes would come out smelling weird. The first years the washing machine is excellent but a couple years later it starts to leak and your clothes dont come out clean. Especially in my condition, water would leak and it also stopped spinning. Luckily I knew someone who fixes them so I still use it. The appearance is okay. I really like how its white and the window is there to see if your clothes are ready. The size is okay. Its not too big or too small either. Im a little disappointed at the price it was when we got it. The reason is because it ended up needing repairs a few years later. If it would have lasted longer I wouldnt complain.

Does a good job every time and would recommend it to anyone wanting a great machine that will last you a very long time. My next purchase will be the same. It is just right for the two of us. Very easy to load up and easy to unload. Has just the right amount of space and a nice holder for the silverware. It is a nice machine that adds to the decor of my kitchen, I have got several compliments on the design of the washer and the white color. I got a great deal on this item as I always price match with all other competitors so I get the absolute best price for the machine I purchased.

Purchased a Kenmore Elit front load washer in April of 2009. By July 26 of 2011, the Motor Control Unit stopped operating on a 2.25 years old machine. A technician came out to tell us the repair would cost $693 + $75 service call charge on a $784 machine, and the part (which basically controls the entire electronic functions of the machine) would have a 90-day warranty. The technician suggested we buy a new machine vs paying the cost to repair our existing, basically near-new machine. After hours of speaking to Sears (and 7 different representatives in different departments all giving us the brush off), we spoke to a gentleman in their Customer Solutions Center who informed us the Motor Control Unit was covered by the exceptional parts warranty, part #818396. Today, the service technician came out to tell us, in deed, the part is NOT covered under the exceptions part warranty. Rather the sensor smart electronic board would be covered under this warranty for only 2 years. I have no problems paying to repair a machine, but to charge the same cost to repair the machine as it costs to buy a new one, and to have this not be covered under Sears exceptional parts guarantee is a crime! That means, basically, the cost of the steel/metal and all other internal parts are worth a few dollars - seems like unfair price gouging for a lovely, big square paper weight that no longer functions. Sears has TERRIBLE service, no one had correct answers and they all just wanted to get off the phone and not help. I will NEVER buy from Sears again! The quality is truly substandard. I think their entire service unit is a scam to overcharge for repairs on subpar machines. Just look at the number of complaints Sears gets on their self-manufactured washing machines. The technician even told us the warranties are getting worse and are covering much less if you buy a new one. I trusted the Sears name to mean quality, but they have really gone downhill, in my opinion.

Kenmore is really a great brand and I trust it. Out of the whole 5 years that Ive had this particular washer Ive never had to repair it, buy parts for it, is still up to its name Kenmore. Just a regular white washer not too many buttons and knobs but very easy to clean and it worked wonderfully. I loved it. It did not tear up my clothes. Ive had a washing that used to heat my clothes up.

I suggest paying double for a Speed Queen or Bosch or just buy the extended warranty and make the company pay for a new one when it fails!

My Sears Kenmore Elite washer will not get out stains. To be fair the unit is out of warranty but is only a year and a half old. Because of health issues, I didnt start getting clothes dirty until this spring. It will not remove simple stains like dirt and when I started started to smell some clothes, they didnt smell clean coming right out of the machine. For example my socks smelled as bad coming out of the wash as they did going in. I would think it would be unsanitary to wear clothes that are not clean. When I purchased the the set online in September 2012, they were giving it a 5 star rating. I looked at past models and they only showed 3 stars but this was a new model and I assumed improvements had been made. Looking online today, Consumer Reports gives it a 53 rating out of 100 and others rate it 3.2 out of 10 and even Sears rates it low and the biggest complaint was that it didnt get out stains or get clothes clean in general. I first called the 800 number Customer Service number in the book and the person that I spoke too suggested that I try to purchase an extended warranty then break the machine on purpose and see if they replace it. As bad as this sounds I do think she was trying to help knowing they would not do anything with it being out of warranty. Then I called Sears the first thing that they said is that is was a LG machine, and the second thing was that it was out of warranty and they would do nothing to help me. I then called customer service who said the same until I told them I would cancel my Sears Card. At that point, I was transferred to Customer Retention who eventually decided to send a technician to my house and some negotiation waved the service charge. I did ask him to speak with the service technician on the phone before he made the appointment because I thought he would be wasting him time after reading all the online information that says it just doesnt clean. The conversation didnt happen and the next morning about 8:45, the service technician called and asked me what was wrong with the washer. I told him it didnt get clothes clean. Then he started to say that I needed special laundry soap and that I shouldnt use fabric softener. Anyhow he declined to come because like me, I thought the machine was working as designed but wouldnt get all clothes clean. He eventually told me thank and added it was because the washer didnt use enough water to clean clothes. I called Sears later and told them what had happened and they would not help me and that case # ** would be closed. I did at that point close my Sears account. I did call Sears again to get an address to send information from Small Claims Court. I then decided to send an email to LG to see if they might help since it is manufactured by them and it is their design. The very first thing they said was that it was a Kenmore and that it was a Sears. I sent them back a reply asking them several questions including who did the design, hold the pattern, and the drawings. I didnt receive a response. I did call an 800 number and talk to someone who did give me an address so that the court could get them information. So I am looking into taking both companies to Small Claims Court together so that a Judge may decide who should lose $1029 for a product that doesnt clean.

I have a three-year-old Kenmore Samsung Top Load washer that I bought from Sears. Six months ago it started making grinding noises. I called in a repairman only to find out that they do not repair these as they are on a recall. I went through their recall process and it has been ongoing since February 15, 2017. I was assigned a repair company and given a phone number. I called them and was told that they do not service my location. I contacted Samsung again and they gave me a new repair company after a number of calls and weeks transpired. The new company also did not service my location. In the meantime my washer is getting louder and washing less effectively. I gave Samsung the appliance service that Sears uses and the phone number to contact. I phone this service myself and he indicated that he does the recall repairs for Samsung on these washers. For the last two months I have been contacting Samsung to get them to assign my washer to this service center that they use and it is still not assigned! I have sold my house and must be out in 5 days so I had to buy a new washer and thought I would get the rebate. After reviewing the rebate process, I decided that this company can keep the minute $275 offered. I will never purchase a Samsung anything as long as I can help it. They did not contact me once during the whole process. I had to keep phoning to get updates and new information. The rebate does not compensate enough as it is only 1/3 of a new washer. I thought Kenmore was a great product and had no idea that it was made by Samsung until I started having problems. I guess the days of having a washer for 20 plus years are gone and consumers have to put up with second rate crap that is very expensive and ends up filling up the countrys garbage dumps.

My washer worked fine before the recall. It took 4 months for the technician to come out and he changed the panel, which I told him worked fine and please save it for me, just in case (we live in a small town). Well sure enough, it hasnt worked properly and keeps giving me an unbalanced load error code. It keeps filling with water and draining, 2.5 hours the first time before I stopped it and put it on Drain and Spin and continually have to monitor it with every wash. Yesterday, I put it on the recommended Clean cycle with just a cup of bleach and it ran 5.5 hours, until 10:30 pm, still with the unbalanced error code, no clothes,etc. until I finally just turned it off. The tech who called and said he would be out last week never showed up or called. I am going to call the national Sears customer service (1-800-549-4505) line again and complain, not much hope for help with this problem though. Is there a class action case?

The Kenmore washer cleaned clothing properly and operated in a quieter tone than some other washers I have owned. I never had issues with colors bleeding and was very happy with the performance of the machine. The machine looked very sleek, too. I have had other washing machines that had issues with the beeping when the cycle was finished, but no issues with this one. And it also fit the color scheme of my laundry room as well as it fit perfectly under my laundry room counter. I paid what I expected for a washing machine of such quality.

Kenmore 3.5 cu ft. top load washer. Brand loyalty from previous appliances was the reason for the purchase. Had the washer for 8 months, and theres NOTHING to like about it. It rarely puts in more than 3 inches of water, so the clothes are just rubbing against themselves causing pilling, twisting, and tangling. Sheets and long sleeves are always so twisted in knots you have to stand there and untangle. (With shirts this means ironing is usually required.) And, do we really know how clean anything is if all its doing is rubbing against other pieces? It reminds me of women banging their clothes on rocks at a stream. Yes, there is a setting called Deep Wash which puts in 5 inches or less of water, (measured with the wet clothing also in the machine) and clothes still spend all their time rubbing against each other. This is Not due to over-loading, as I rarely have more than half or two-thirds of a tub-load of dry items. The setting called Bedding or Bulky, eventually, after 10 minutes of spinning, and occasionally adding a bit more water, gets enough water in to keep the clothes from rubbing against each other, but by that time the cycle is mostly finished and the clothes and/or towels have spent the majority of the wash cycle just being banged against each other. But this cycle does not spin the clothes very dry, and so sometimes with jeans or towels you need to go back and turn it on again to an additional spin cycle. After using the machine for awhile I now know the salesperson knew nothing about how it actually worked. For me it has added LOTS more work by having to go back and add a additional cycle, by now requiring ironing of mens shirts; and for having to separate and hand-wash knits, sweaters and delicate items as they cannot be included in a regular wash, but are way too few for their own cycle.

It doesnt clean the clothes if they have any kind of soil on them, I have to run them up to three times to get them clean. The machine has had issues that cost me as much as I paid for the machine to fix twice since I purchased it. It is a lemon. I will never purchase another washing machine from Kenmore again since I cannot afford to fix a machine that shouldnt break so often.

The repairmen that have been sent out on a lid locking problem have not been able to resolve this issue. This started in August, and the last two appointments have been cancelled the day of the appointment (when my wife called the 800 number to find out what time the repairman would be at our house). Currently the laundry room is stinking, the entire first floor of our home because the water is stagnant and will not drain. The 800 number has made an appointment for our washer to be repaired on December 8th. This is the longest we have ever had to wait the first floor of our home should really smell great by then.

Hardly adds any water at all; its washboard does its best to destroy and rip up your clothes (I have pictures if anyone doubts me); this cycle is so long that you cannot do more that one load of washing in one night. Laundry used to be fun for me. And BTW, clothes are still not clean.

My mother and I both bought the washer from Sears and they broke after one year and four days. They refused to fix or replace because its four days over warranty. Then mothers washer broke the same way as mine, oil leak and water at bottom two weeks after mine. Sears was totally not helpful. She paid for a repairman and had it fixed. Then a week later, it was leaking water from bottom again. Im not pleased at all.

The washer is great. I thought I would have problem with it like my previous washer but I am so happy with it performance. Its fast. I put like 3 loads a day and they only take like 30-1 hour. Its amazing! This is one of the best washers I have ever bought. I have always been scared that the washer will give up on me or one day stop working out of nowhere and staying without a washer. This washer is very reliable. I am pleased with the color of my washer but I do wish there were other colors of it. Maybe a black or even grey one. I believe they only offer it in white which is not bad but it would be nice to see it in other colors. The design is great, it is too extravagant or complicated. As I have been saying before, I am extremely satisfied with this washer. The value of it was just right. What I mean with that is that I paid a pretty good darn price for an amazing quality.

It also has a very large drum for its size and I never have a problem with clothing sitting on one side during the wash. Each cycle gives the clothing a really good cleaning. It also has a very simple look, making it easy to use. Moreover, the knobs being located on the top panel makes them easy to access after you load and close the washer. This washer gets the job done extremely well for the price. Why pay double or triple the price when you can get this model and get the exact same performance as other washers. I highly recommend purchasing it.

In fact the water didnt drain. With limited funds, I looked into doing it myself. Thanks to a YouTube video, I found it to be a common problem. I knew the part I needed, and was able to get it from Amazon. I got the part, fixed the washer, following each direction on the video, and was successful in repairing my washing machine.

From the time we bought it it was throwing out a cafe F51 didn’t know what it was ( yes ignorance on my part) however if you turned it off and then back on it worked fine. Now it has stopped working completely! I call customer service and ask if it was under recall after telling the lady my name and address five different times. She said no. I ask to speak with her manager and she said she didn’t have one. Wow. I am talking to the owner of the company! So I said I would like to speak to a supervisor and reluctantly she placed me on hold and when the supervisor got on the phone she also stated that the washer was not under any recall. I ask her how she would know that without knowing what the serial number and model numbers were and quickly she ask for them. Put me on a brief hold and wouldn’t you know it same answer! No recall. However it has been giving this code since we bought it. Their solution to the problem is that I pay $99 for someone to come out in a week and see if it is under recall and if not then I can pay to have a washer fixed that was broke when we bought it. Gotta love them! I am not a happy customer!

I purchased a Sears Kenmore HE washer 110.2613. I read everything I could get my hand on about HE washers. Here is what I learned from experience and then confirmed by the washer technician. The amount of water the washer uses is regulated by federal energy use standards. So your new HE washers may have lots of choices, dials, and lights but it will only use the maximum allowed by these regulations. Normal, casual, delicate change only slightly by length of time washed and water temp. Might as well have one button. Most HE washers dont have an actual rinse cycle. It sprays the soap off the clothes! The washer will mix hot and cold water so that the water temperature never exceeds the regulated temperature. True hot water wash is impossible.. You better flush out the bleach dispenser or you will find white bleached dots on clothes in another cycle.A WORK AROUND. Use a fraction of the detergent (2 TABLESPOONS). Never use pods or you will find plastic bits stuck on your clothes. Powder detergent never dissolves completely. Wash everything in BULKY BEDDING or WHITES. Thats the only way to get a decent amount of water. DO NOT use fabric softener but ALWAYS choose the fabric softener button. Why? You actually get some rinse water not just spritzing for the rinse. If available, use 2 rinse cycles. If available use Deep Fill. Be prepared to take twice or three times more time to get your laundry done. Its 1.45 hr to wash one load. If your household has very dirty clothes as in construction workers, I suggest you go down to the river and beat them against rocks. You will get better results than with any HE washer.

It is just my husband and I, so we do 3-4 loads of laundry per week. Just the other day, only 1 year and 9 months from our purchase of this brand new appliance, water started showing up on our laundry room floor. We check hoses, drain pipe, etc. and all are secure. So I call Sears for service and was told that the warranty is only for one year, so I would have to pay for repairs. Okay, how bad could it be??? Well, the technician came out and took one look at it and after hearing what we said was wrong, said oh, yea, this happens to these all the time, apparently Sears is peddling this appliance that has a transmission problem. And, worse, after spending $1,200 on the initial purchase, this would be $900 to fix!!! How shameful that Sears, a company that my mom worked for for 20+ years and my parents swore by the Kenmore brand is putting out a product that they KNOW is faulty and has not performed properly for any consumer. They wont credit us, they wont take it back, we are stuck with this monstrosity. We are tired of this kind of wanton callous concern for the end user. How is there not a recall on this item???

Sears has no method for me to provide feedback on this. So its for you. Choose wisely. Dont be looped in by the deep fill - get something else.

Kenmore Elite Washer delivered in 8/2013. From day one it would stop mid cycle. Oct. 2014 got so fed up babysitting it to make sure it finished that I called for repair. Person said it was a common problem. Tightened wash plate and then sold me a Protection agreement. He said call whenever happens again. Feb 2015, they came out again for same problem. He said I had to ensure I only put like clothes together and that really it isnt a washer for just two people! He also decided to adjust one leg on the washer as he thought that may be an issue also.For the past two weeks, it has started not finishing cycles again, even though I have made sure I only wash like products together, ie jean only, towels only, sheets only, etc. Painful when there are only two of us. After babying this machine all day yesterday, I ran the clean washer cycle. It took three starts and stops. I then tried to do a drain spin to at least get the water out.This morning, I called the repair number for them to come out. This is now the third time on this machine. They are dispatching tech by end of week. 5 days for it to sit with water in it. She also told me to call the Protection Dept. to see if anything they can do. So in the meantime, I have a washer sitting here with water in it. She said to unplug it, let it sit for a minimum of 40 seconds and then try the drain spin again (which I did try twice last night). I will give it a try while I wait for the PA dept. to pick up as they are very busy, according to the recording.

I have had this washer about seven years and I bought it used. To this day it still works. It is what I use weekly to do our laundry in. Im very satisfied with it. I can get a full load in there. Sometimes Ive overloaded it but other than that it works great as long as I dont have too many dirty clothes in. It does have a few nicks and dings in it. Couple of rough spots too but it washes out of clothes just fine and to me thats all that matters. Even though it is probably 15 years old I would say the value of it would be at least $100 because it works perfectly. I just pulled out a trash bag full of winter clothes with jeans and coats and was able to get a huge black trash bag washed into loads of laundry.

Likely, the big problem is too many bells and whistles. Yesterday the washer flooded our upstairs and poured through our dining room ceiling! We called Sears and they want $80 just to come out and look at it, meanwhile we have to replace carpet and Sheetrock. How can a company charge so much for a product and not stand by its quality and care about its consumer. A washing machine should last for more than 2 years!! We bought this front loading washer because my wife and I had always wanted one but never had the chance to buy one. Kenmore was highly rated by Consumer Reports. We purchased it and I must say it is the worst product I have ever bought. It constantly makes a mess on the floor and I cant even rub its nose in it. It overflows when on normal cycle. It does seem to work on bulk cycle but it gets musty and is impossible to get the smell out of it. I would never recommend a Kenmore product and will NEVER buy one or go in a Sears store again. We paid a premium price for it and I cant wait for it to break down so we can justify getting another washer from another company.

This washer is not as modern looking as a front load washer, but I did not feel that the design was an eyesore in my laundry room and the most important thing was that it got the job done. I felt that this washer was affordable and a great deal for the value. Other washer brands in this similar front loading style would have cost me considerably more money.

Elite washing machine 31512 - I have never been upset enough to feel the need to review an appliance before. That being said, I bought this washing machine about 18 months ago for around $1,000 at Sears. Initially I was impressed with the features and the thought of it being efficient, but slowly the washer started to become unbalanced on a regular basis. Then the laundry started to smell sour even after using the cleaning cycle with the proper cleaner. All of this was frustrating but somehow bearable until tonight, when I really needed to get some last minute laundry done and all it will do is display an error code LE. This machine was way too expensive to be so horribly built. I will return to a different brand that has simple electromechanical dials and can properly drain the water so it doesnt make the laundry smell worse than when it went in. I called the Sears helpline and they recommended I sign up for $40 a month protection plan that still required me to pay $60 for them to show up and part costs!? This made no sense and just made me more upset. I will never buy anything from Sears again.

My father-in-law had to fix it by putting something under the washer, so that it didnt leak. Once he did this, I didnt have any other problems. It always worked for me. The appearance of this machine was that was second hand. It had a lot of scratches and dings but worked. That is what I need it for washing my familys clothes. I got it for a remarkable price. This set lasted me probably 5 years if not more. They were still working when I had to get rid of them because I could not do laundry anymore with this type of machine.

Kenmore 600 series, triple action, top load washing machine is the worst washing machine I have ever used. It wastes water, detergent, electricity and your time; and you will wind up taking your laundry to commercial washing places after all. It does not have an option for small load water level; Even if you are planning to wash a very small load.After my faithful washing machine broke down after 25 years, I purchased this Kenmore washing Machine. This machine takes a long time to wash clothes (basically just wet the clothes not wash). After I work around the yard every 2 or 3 days I wash my work clothes (3-4 pants and 6 or 7 shirts and socks). I wash them with heavy duty, power wash and 2 rinses. It takes 1 hour 21 minutes. After all, that noise, filling and refilling water, wasting the detergents, the garden soil on my pants knees are still there. I can smear the dirt away with my fingers. Clothes are as dirty as you put them in. Except they are all wet. My wife is so mad for after spending close to $700.00 she has to make a trip to laundromat every week to wash our clothes.

It is very reliable because with one wash your clothes come out fresh. The washer itself is great in appearance because it looks very modern. It does not look outdated or out of place. It is it necessarily fancy but it looks nice. It does not stick out like a sore thumb. Washers can be pretty expensive. When it comes to price it is true what they say you get what you pay for. Please, DO NOT buy this washer no matter how cheap in price you find it. It continues to add minutes to the wash where it takes 1 1/2-2 1/2 hours PER wash. Clothes comes out with white streaks that look like powder detergent is stuck on them when I use only liquid detergent. Water saver means not enough water to cover the clothes. The deep fill option is only available at some settings as for bulk loads. Even using this setting some clothes come out dry. I will never purchase a machine water saver or without an agitator because the clothes don’t circulate. This is a piece of 800.00 junk. I would love to throw it out and buy a simple washer that works faster and gets clothes clean. Please, do not buy it or you too will be writing a negative review and be angry at yourself for thinking those other negative reviews were maybe customers not using the machine properly and maybe adding too much detergent. When in reality the machine is a piece of crap.

I never received any type of postal mail is regards to the court action lawsuit nor the settlement action from the class suit against Kenmore & the bad odor from mold in the Kenmore washing machine.Tonight on channel 9 Eyewitness News I just saw the Settlement Action Lawsuit by chance. I went online & filled out the settlement claim online today 9/26/16. I did purchase a Kenmore washer Model: 402 49032010 and Serial No: Y0AG54A2707312M (YOA or Y0A?) in 2006 from Sears store in Gastonia NC and we began to notice a smell a few years later in 2009. I am sending this request because in the initial claim I was only given 3 options of $50 was, 20% rebate, or reimbursement on repairs. I am requesting to ask if we can just ask for a brand new up date front loader Washer instead of any cash, rebates, or % off??? Could I possibly get the name of the attorney that is handling this lawsuit? The odor is sooo bad and the rim gets so much black junk and I have to clorox out the tub so very often. Our Kenmore Elite high efficiency top load washer just had a recall and no longer has some of the features we initially paid for. But there are more reasons to avoid this product. There is a rust issue thats now eating into the enamel of the washer at the liquid bleach inlet of our two year old washing machine. Yesterday, based on some other reviews I read while contemplating my two cents, I checked the water temp when the machine was placed on a warm rinse. Guess what? Its cold water. This machine is disappointing and so are the responses given by Sears when you contact them with the concerns. No longer covered by manufacturers warranty. True. Didnt purchase extended warranty. True. But what about product integrity? Product expectation? This washer is disappointing. Ive been a loyal customer for years, but sadly my loyalty has been eroded with inferior products and service.

Just get it and you will be amazed how much little time it really takes to get the clothes down and how much time you have for yourself to relax. Love the color. Its simple and so easy to clean on the outside and easy to use and figure out for the first time you use it takes no time at all. The price was amazing and I thought it would cost more and it didnt, and was on a payment plan and got it paid off in no time whatsoever.

One day it just completely froze up. The repairman said it had nothing left to give. I did a lot of washing with it even heavy rugs and it continue to hold up. They just dont make washers that durable anymore.
