Every dish, every utensil or silverware price that comes out is sparkling clean no residue and it doesnt take long to go through the process either and it does a great job. The dishwasher fits a load of dishes no problem. The dishes fit perfectly in there. I can put my crock pot in there the glass part. The silverware have a handy little container that fits perfectly. My tall cups fit in there perfectly. It is sleek and goes perfectly with all the other appliances in my kitchen. Its easy to open, its easy to use. The buttons are very clear to read and theres very many options to pick from. We searched around for different types different sizes and this dishwasher was the perfect size with the perfect components at the price that we wanted.

Dishes did not come out clean. The parts in the dishwasher were cheap and broke easily. Our dishwasher broke just outside of the warranty period. The size was fine. It could use a sturdier rack system. This is one part of the dishwasher with which I am not completely frustrated. It fits into the allotted space in my kitchen. It is a decent size to clean dishes from several meals. The dishwasher is aesthetically pleasing. I do prefer the stainless steel that I upgraded to after this dishwasher broke. The control panel looks nice. This dishwasher was flimsy, poorly made, and inefficient. I plan to never purchase a Whirlpool or Kenmore appliance ever again. Cheap. Cheap. Cheap.

I bought this dishwasher about 3 years ago and this is the first dishwasher I have that never had a problem with it breaking or malfunction. It was on the smaller side but I could usually get all of my dishes in one cycle compared to my last washer. It had more room for dishes and less aesthetics to make it wider and to up less space. It was simple but easy on the eyes, it didnt need a lot of aesthetics like most dishwashers to make it look cluttered. I would recommend this dishwasher to anyone that need something simple but nice-looking and gets the job done. For the price, this is a large and reliable dishwasher that I have. Never had a problem with this washer unlike all the other brands that I had that broke in the first 6 months.

Cleans the dishes as good as the high dollar washer without the price. I bought Home Cheapo dishwasher that lasted about a week after its warranty. I have always bought Kenmore before and will buy another if needed. This one is only 4 years old now.

My dishwasher came with the home I purchased. The appearance is very hi-tech and edgy. It makes the home look more up to date and gives it a more futuristic appeal. I like that about the Kenmore. The size of it is good. It holds enough dishes to get the job done. The cartridge for soap is a good size and the dish racks inside are beneficial. It gets the dishes cleaned and dry. I like the value of it because its sturdy. And Kenmore dishwasher is safe in the home and makes washing dishes a much more simpler, easier task and time effective. I was kind of upset because I didnt know that I bought this product used. There were a lot of things that needed to be fix even though the seller didnt tell me that something was wrong. But after I fixed it, it worked like a charm and loved it ever since. The size of this product squeeze right in the area that I had. Any bigger then I would had to take the product back to the store. But I am very happy with this purchase. I would recommend buying this product. But buying it used of course. The appearance is nice to look at. I like the black color of this dishwasher. Very nice and matte color. It would look good in each and every kitchen. The value was good, I didnt pay much for it. The only problem that I had was like I said I didnt know I was buying it used and it came with a lot of problems so I put more into this product than expected but I am very happy that I bought it because it gets the job done.

I chose Kenmore Dishwashers because have a good reputation when it comes to their appliances. They deliver and install and I was able to find a good price. The reviews that I read during my research process were mostly positive. Also, I had a Kenmore dishwasher in an old apartment and I was satisfied with it. I like that it has different cycles for specific needs for dishes. The heat dry and the antibacterial option were great for sterilizing baby bottles, etc. I appreciated the non-drip tray for the dish liquid. I did not like how long it took to wash the dishes on the majority of the cycle options. Most of the time I couldnt hear the Done beep that is provided. Id rather it be louder or a music type of tune to be played so I can hear when its ready.

Kenmore appliances are fantastic. Great quality that always work and clean my dishes to perfection. Would recommend to anyone. The way that my dishes come out after being washed is like diamonds. Kenmore are just an overall great brand.

It cleaned OK at beginning for a few months then the heating element quit working and also after awhile didnt clean well. We were disappointed in it. It fit my needs as far as size very much. I really like the inside the way it was setup. I could get a days worth of dishes in it very easily. I really wished it cleaned better. The appearance was great inside and out until it got where it didnt clean my dishes very well. Got grungy looking inside. Stained inside and would not clean. Smelled also. The perceived value was very poor. Ive never had an appliance be so bad. We definitely got a lemon when we bought it. Im afraid to buy the brand again as far as a dishwasher.

It is a good dishwasher but Im not too crazy about it. It does not wash the dishes perfectly. Even if you pre-wash the dishes, do not see any crazy results. Its size is ok, fits perfectly and for the family of 4 it is just enough space in it. Im not too crazy about the appearance. Nothing special just white. A little old looking not too modern design. But still good enough. The value of the dishwasher is very good. It does not cost a fortune. I would say a good value for what it does. In some stores is really cheap.

The reason I chose the Kenmore dishwasher is because it was on sale but it is also a well known brand. I like the appearance of it. It also matched my kitchen colors. I thought it had an attached look to it and it looks expensive but it wasnt. I was expecting it to be quiet, fast and efficient and it is. However, the only thing I would probably change about the Kenmore dishwasher is that I wish it had a bigger capacity. Sometimes I have very large pans that I would love to fit but the only way to fit them is to not have a full dishwasher. Other than that, it is really roomy. I might be the only one that has that big of pans so it might not be considered the same opinion as others. I love the fact that it is energy efficient. I can put in a load and in about 30 min they are clean. They dont have any stuck on food. The Kenmore dishwasher had very simple buttons and is not complicated at all. It makes washing dishes very pleasant.

The dishwasher I had was very good and clean the dishes very good without having to wash the dishes first. It left quite a shine on the dishes when using a liquid washer. It was 36 in by 48 in high with wheels so that I could roll it around. It very Durable and lightweight. The kitchen was very small but got the job done. It was very light - maybe a white or a off white in color but very good looking dishwasher that I would recommended to family or friends. I know they would like it. It was very rate highly by myself and other that visit my house. The price was very reasonable and very well adjusted. The price was very low and I like that.

It had a defective water pump w/in a few months of purchase. This defect was known by the water pump manufacturer Whirlpool Corp. It leaked under the floor & into crawl space. Not covered by Sears warranty or homeowners insurance. Whirlpool wouldnt cover the damage. I had to hire an atty. After a long drawn out process the dishwasher never cleaned the dishes. It has a touch screen w/ 10 features but they dont do anything differently other than longer or shorter time. It is a regular size. Stainless steel. Kenmore Elite Energy Star. Kenmore is Sears brand but not all the parts are not covered by Sears, standard 1 yr warranty.

It does its job but you have to practically wash the dishes first. It does take the load of having to do dish but it could be better. I have had a few issues but that could have also been my roommate placing the dishes in incorrectly. This model is perfect for one person but for numerous people its a bit hard not to fill it up quickly. The size of the racks are a tad bit too small for my taste. Its the typical white, fridge texture on the outside. It isnt the best to look at but honestly, who cares about looks when what matters is that it gets its job done. Its fast wash and gets very hot. Dishes are always spotless. Plenty of room for everything. It takes the gel packs which is much easier. Its not too loud at all. I cant complain. Its the perfect size for my household. It doesnt take up too much room. But it fits our daily dishwashing needs. And there are spots for silver, bowls, flat dishes and its not all clanging against each other. Looks modern, suits my kitchen perfectly with my other items in the kitchen. Its easy to keep clean. I spray Windex on it and wipe it down and it shines nicely. I actually get comments on the look. It was a little costly but everything is going up in price. I like the overall design of the dishwasher! When it was used it cleaned perfectly and there was so much space. It had many different functions you could use. It was also economical and saved water. The only thing I would improve would be the amount of time it took to wash the dishes seemed to take awhile. Overall its been great. If I had to choose to buy another I would probably buy the same one again.

Kenmore has a long lasting reputation in my community as well as others. It is appealing to a family and not just a person. It is a relatable brand with great advertising and its products really do provide the service that they say they should. Its efficient. It washes dishes perfectly clean the first time that I run the dishwasher and it does not take a very long time for the cycles to run through and it is aesthetically appealing as well. The only thing that I would improve is the longevity of the product but even then Im not sure how long they actually last because Ive had mine so long and Ive never had a problem.

We have a 5 yr. old Kenmore Dishwasher that slowly leaked from the seal of the motor/pump assembly. We couldnt see any evidence of this until it had been leaking for some time as laid out by the forensic inspector from the insurance company. The dishwasher did about $30,000 in damage that our homeowners insurance wont cover. We have Sears Home Warranty that says it is secondary. We are hoping someone else has had success getting this covered. Our repair person said it is common with this model. How do I find anything in writing that speaks to this from the corporation?

I can nearly fit whatever dishes I have used at dinner. The most surprising event was in thanksgiving I was able to fit all the plates in this washer and still is effective. I am happy about the appearance of my dishwasher. It looks plain. Nothing extraordinary but the effect it has on my dishes is AMAZING. It looks like silver clear reflection. The dishwasher is on the more expensive side. I am satisfied with the value I bought it for. If the product dishwasher wasnt as effective as it seems I would not bought it for its price.

DO NOT BUY KENMORE DISHWASHERS. Ours (Kenmore Ultra Wash Dishwasher) quit working after 20 months of use. We did not buy the extended warranty because we thought it should last at least 5 years before anything would break. Wrong. I have called the customer care phone numbers several times. Did not get anyone that speaks fluent English. Very frustrating. And they keep forwarding you to a different area.THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER. I found out had we bought the 5 year warranty it would only cover the services call(s) 100%. Had you needed new parts for you appliance you would get $25% off of the part but you the customer would have to pay 75%. Our particular part that is bad costs $156 plus tax and shipping so we still would of ended up paying like $140 dollars to maybe get it up and running again. Sears stores are closing but they still plan to sell Kenmore online so do not make the same mistake we did. Enough said.

We can get all of our everyday use dishes into the dishwasher. We run it abut every two days when its just our three-person family. We cook and eat almost every meal at home, so it is pretty efficient. Its basic white. The buttons for the settings are easy to read. It fits in with the other white appliances in our kitchen. We like the white, because we painted our kitchen to match our tastes. It was neither the cheapest nor the most expensive dishwasher we looked at. It has done a good job for several years. We like that it has options for using less water and for a turbo zone where you can place items that need an extra blast of water for additional cleaning.

Most of my appliances are Kenmore brand. I purchased over 18 years ago and they are still working ok. The Kenmore dishwasher is the only one I would not recommend. Kenmore has been a great appliance brand for me.

Bought a Kenmore 665 series dishwasher less than 3.5 years ago for $600. For the past 6-8 weeks I’ve been trying to determine why it works intermittently, usually just filling, heating, and draining, while not washing and not even dissolving the soap, and other times working ok... And I’m pretty good at researching and repairing. We were getting error codes in the diagnostics and replaced parts. Now we rarely get error codes but usually it doesn’t wash or dissolve at all even when there are no codes. A repairman costs half of a new machine and the worst part is that it’s not even 4 years old. We gave up and have a Bosch ordered, hoping for better luck. Note that Whirlpool makes Kenmore...

It was quiet and got everything clean. I loved this dishwasher. Tough on grease and dried food but I would only recommend liquid dishwasher soap as that worked best in this dishwasher. I could fit large 8 quart pots and pans, along with large dishes, glasses, silverware, other utensils and it still got everything very clean. Did not leave any grease or caked on food on the dishes, silver, glasses or pots and pans. I loved the white color as it made the kitchen appear bright, roomy and cheery. I chose this over a black model because I wanted the kitchen to look bright and happy even though having white showed the dust more which was no problem to me. The value was good considering dishwashers can be quite expensive. If I had to buy all over again, I would choose a Kenmore because they seem to work well and the prices are not out of reach and can fit any budget.

I bought a Kenmore dishwasher 18 years ago, but rarely being used as I live alone. I used it for some guests not long ago, the programming has been messed. There is instruction about how to reboot the programs in case it is not working. Sears is famous in eager to send you repair person to get your money instead of putting instruction in manual regarding this problem. They do not offer online or on phone tech support like other big item companies do. No wonder so many Sears are out of business now as their customer support is extremely poor. Just do not buy their product in the future!

Had the appliance (Kenmore Elite) for 6 months when ice maker had to be replaced. Now I have an ER 1F error code. No ice is being made and water is dripping down and freezing in the drawer freezer. I am quite disappointed. It appears the appliances are made so that you must call for repairs on a regular basis. My dishwasher from Sears is another story.

I use the dishwasher a lot, had no problem with it, and no repairs needed. It cleans dishes great. Used cascade with it, cleans everything off and no water spots. It fits all of my items inside and fits right beside my sink. Great with pans and pots, work amazingly well with glasses, and the sliding tray is a lifesaver. The size and the appearance are great. Outside needs to be cleaned sometimes but it looks great with the overall kitchen decor. Cleaning it with soap and water usually does the trick but doesnt get that dirty that often. The dishwasher works great, and has a great height and width. It would sell for a good price. I love it.

Kenmore does everything you need as to washing dishes. It’s an excellent name brand I love, very trustworthy and dependable. You have to love its size because I surely do. All it takes is for me to load the dishwasher all at once. It’s a one-stop shop. The appearance is outstanding… its more advanced new technology is something that I would stick by. Many people think of the name and think, “oh its expensive…” when actually you get a great deal depends on where you get one at. Its worth the price.

The appearance was beautiful and sleek that is why I bought it, but in the end, it was not worth it because it was always broke. Having to wash dishes while I own a dishwasher was not fun. The size seemed typical, but the extra baskets and silverware holders had to be removed when washing big pots and pans. The plastic baskets always broke. It would always break. I had to contact customer service repeatedly to fix it. It also failed to clean the dishes completely. I would have to constantly reset it and troubleshoot on the Internet. Stick with different brands I think cheaper and older models worked better than this. I wish I would have kept my old dishwasher or bought another brand. It also did not help that I bought it from Sears.

It cleans the cookware and dishes. Does not need a lot of information and instructions to operate. Does a good job of cleaning food stuff from the dishes and cookware. It fits well in the counter space provided. The cabinet makers provided the hole for the dishwasher, and it just fit right into the spot. It looks good and the finish is easy to clean. It does not show dirt or smudges at all. It works well and does a good job. The life of the item is yet to be determined.

This Kenmore dishwasher lasted a very long time before having to be replaced. And also this dishwasher cleaned the dishes well. I would recommend this dishwasher to others. This worked well when we first got it. Stopped working not even a year later. The heating element went up in it!!! Wouldnt recommend this brand. This works well for a small family. Holds a lot of dishes and glasses and pots and pans. Will hold glass Pyrex dishes well and larger pots and pans. Our model was white. The buttons lasted well. The dial was a bit outdated. Hard to keep clean. Easy to wipe down. Would have liked a more modern feature other than the dial. For the price we paid for the item, it should have lasted much longer than not even quite a year. I feel that we way overpaid for this item. Wouldnt purchase this brand ever again.

Went out shopping over 20 years ago to Sears with limited money for dishwasher. Sales told me this was truly the best. Took him at his word and in all these years I have never had to pay for any repairs and still is efficient. It is very quiet, you can choose heat of water, and stop drying process and let air dry, has a special cycle to clean dishwasher. The dishes come out spotless without any extra rinses. The outside is still beautiful shiny black too. I love it. I would bet I have a miracle dishwasher, I dont know if it is as energy efficient as todays new one but I would never get rid of it.

Its quiet and was not very expensive. I also like the design. There is plenty of room for all the dishes and other items I wish to wash. It has plenty of space on top and bottom and is easy to load. The racks also slide out easily and is easy to operate and add dish washing liquid. The looks is sleek and modern. It has a silver finish and matches out kitchen. It looks like its well made. Its cheap to use and operate. It also operates quietly and uses very little energy. Cleans quick and also doesnt use much water. Is durable.

No complaints or dirt left on the dishes or soap residue. Really cleaned well and was large enough to clean dishes from a family of six including pots and pans. The dishwasher was large enough to fit my family of six dishes and the pots and pans too. It even fits more than that and never leaves residue or stuck on food. It fit right into my kitchens decor and blended nicely with the other appliances in the big kitchen. The outside is easy to clean and wont scratch either. The Kenmore dishwasher is easy to clean or wipe dirt from and blends nicely with the other appliances in the kitchen too. They have great colors to choose from.

Cleans well, adequate top rack positions, 1 to 9 hours delay start, adequately quiet, very durable. My dishwasher is about 14 years old. My racks are beginning to rust. Higher model has rust proof racks.

Not powerful at cleaning. It would generally leave food residue on plates and glass ware. Only lasted two years before it needed to be replaced. The dishwasher size was pretty good. It had enough rack space and the silverware area was respectable to hold all the necessary items. I think little bit more of an adjustment wouldve been an order so that you could get longer or should say taller items in the dishwasher. The parents of the dishwasher fit nicely into my kitchen, match the rest of my appliances and I thought that it function appropriately with the Decor. I thought the price was a little high for the quality. After I was using it for a while I figured that the price I was paying for it and from what I was told by the salesman that would be a good dishwasher but unfortunately it turned out not to be that way for the price.

Horrible product. Will not start when you push start? WHY?? You think it will start but it wants to think???? STUPID. I will not buy Kenmore again. I want a product that I CONTROL, NOT the other way around. I do NOT want a SMART dishwasher. I want one that does what I want when I want.

Could never rely on this dishwasher to do the job. It was constantly needing several repairs to eventually break down again. I had to call maintenance repair to my house several times for them to look at the problem. This dishwasher was great in size. I could pack a lot of dishes in and never had an issue with nothing fitting. The size of the dishwasher was one of the main reasons why I purchased it. The dishwashers appearance is beautiful. I got several comments on it whenever I would have company come over to my house. Several people would ask me what model it was. For what I paid for this dishwasher, I wasnt satisfied. It needed way too many repairs and half the time, the maintenance people didnt even know what to do and said I should most likely invest in a new dishwasher.

It washed the dishes very well. I never had a dirty plate again! Its quiet. I would never use another brand again. Kenmore has the best dishwashers ever. It fit into the space well and I had no issues with the size at all. I tell people about this dishwasher all the time and how helpful it is when I dont want to wash stuff by hand. Its white color matches the kitchen well and went with all the other appliances I have. Im not one for stainless steel so white fit perfectly. It was worth way more than it cost in the long run because it was so useful and handy. It cleaned my dishes quickly and got the job done.

Very easy to use and works without any problems and also have many extra features that are very helpful at saving time, water, and energy. Standard 24 in but the inside is designed for large capacity load. Very easy to load a whole days dishes at once and not have any problem. Outside is black, inside is stainless steel. Very easy to clean outside with inside very easy to use cleaning cycle and it is very quick cleaning so you can use it again. When on sale this is an excellent product. Cannot beat the price for all the features that you get. Can get it in a couple of days and very easy to install and use right away.

It gets food off everything, even if not rinsed out. It dries the dishes well and the pot feature is great. The filter on the bottom separates the food. This makes it easy too. The top has good depth and fits tall glasses and also some pots and pans. The bottom can fit in a lot and often I can get extra dishes, glasses and casserole dishes, even pot tops or roasting pans. I try and keep it clean and wipe it down with a dose decent spray. Also we clean the inside every couple of months. The value for money has exceeded our expectations. The dishwasher is really sturdy inside and was not made with flimsy plastic.

Cleans pots and pans as well as dishes thoroughly. Rarely dishes need to be washed again. Removes scum grease and burns very well. Often I do not need to select pot and pan washing. I can just select normal wash. Although it is rather small in size it is perfect for me. I live alone and only need to use maybe 2 times weekly if I have guests. The black faced dishwasher matches other appliances and is built in. It is sleek and although I have had problems with the closing latch it works well. Looks great and serves my needs.

This seems to be a basic model without a lot of the features some other dishwashers have. I have to pre-rinse my dishes or I will end up with food particles all over my clean dishes. In ten years weve never had a issue. We bought our Sears Kenmore dishwasher about 10 years ago and we also purchased and have maintained the extended warranty. The Kenmore is a great dishwasher. I like the space inside and the way it cleans. My dishes always come out clean and I can fit a lot in it. However, its a bit awkward in the way all the dishes sit in the bottom. It is easy to bump into and start. I would make it so it is not so easy to bump into and turn on. But other than that, the Kenmore Dishwasher was a good price for a top rated company. The reason I chose to purchase these particular Kenmore Dishwasher was because the store was having a sale on the product and it fit my budget and requirements. I like the easy to use buttons, all the different kind of settings to clean and dry the dishes, prewash, and the easy open and lock of the door. However, I dislike the noise it makes when the dishes are washing. I wish it were quiet and when it switched cycles it didnt click or make noises as well. I also wish when they dried it would leave less spots on the dishes.

Although it was a cheaper purchase it works just as well as the high dollar one I had before this one.

I think it is a solid refrigerator. The only problem I have with it is it noisy. The hum is louder than the last refrigerator I owned. However, it was affordable and something I would recommend. Would gave a 4.5 instead of 4, but you dont have it, and 5 means its perfect, there always room for improvement in my view. Had the dishwasher for 18+ yrs and during that time only had to replace a clogged spray arm at the bottom. A $20.00 parts. DIY. Therefore it does not owes me anything and was money well spent, especially in these days where most mechanical & electronic usually requires a 5 or 10 years warranty extension on something which should last 20 years plus. Thus manufacturer are not really doing a good QC of their products.

We bought this Kenmore Elite Ultraclean Dishwasher 665.1278 Model for 900.00 dollars back in July of 2014. After one year of use the heating element in the door panel went out. When we called out a service repairman he told us this was one of two of the most expensive parts to replace and that these parts wear out quickly. We went ahead and paid for the repair that ended up costing us over 200.00, then decided to buy a one year warranty just in case. By the time the one year warranty was up the same door panel heating element went out along with some type of gear in the door panel. I cant believe we paid 900.00 for what was supposed to be the best of the best of Kenmore dishwashers back then only to have it break down on a yearly occurrence. I would not recommend this dishwasher. This has left such a bad taste in our mouths that we are not going to buy Kenmore in the future for ANY appliance. Period.

In March of 2012 we bought a Kenmore dishwasher. In August of 2012 the door latch had to be repaired due to a manufacturing defect. Today the upper rack assembly fell apart for about the 4th time, this time permanently. The one part that would fix it is not available on the replacement parts website. When you spend almost $900 on a new appliance you should be able to expect more reliability and more longevity. This thing is a piece of junk and were getting rid of it. Sears used to be a reliable retailer. What happened? Shouldnt have to spend an average of more than $300/Year on something as simple as a dishwasher.

My dishes come out very clean and sanitized. The dishwasher holds a nice sized load and it does not have to be loaded perfectly. Its energy efficient and runs quietly. Its a little small, but I can still fit all my dishes in easily. I dont put pots or large pans in the dishwasher so there is enough room for dishes and glassware. If I try to overload it, the dishes dont get clean. This is a very basic looking dishwasher so it does not have much appeal. However its simplicity allows it to blend in with the surrounding decor easily. It would be nice if it had a handle across the front instead of just a dial. Its reputation alone makes it a great value. You do not get all of the bells and whistles with this one but you get a reliable dishwasher that does a great job.

My parents always bought Kenmore products as long as I can remember and I have always used Sears products as they are reliable. My Kenmore refrigerator Is the high point of my kitchen. We find it absolutely amazing that our Kenmore Ultra Wash is still the ORIGINAL one we purchased when we bought our house, which was in 1995. It still works fine, 25 YEARS LATER..!! I also don’t even think we EVER had to call a repairman for it. I asked my wife and she also never recalls having it repaired for any reason. Lucky..?? Guess so as I believe the average lifespan for a dishwasher is 10 years..?? I could be wrong. Anyway, it works just fine and dishes still are coming out clean and glasses have no spots. This is the second Kenmore product I have bought that has not even lasted 5 years. This dishwasher stopped heating up for washing and drying. The repairman said it would cost $380 to repair as the control board needs to be replaced. I saw there is a recall related to the control board on Kenmore dishwashers but my model is not on the list. The dishwasher is the perfect size; it is not too big or too small. It easily fits into the space in my counter. If it was any smaller, it would look terrible. The chrome finish works with most kitchen setups. One would be hard pressed to find something that does not match with this dishwasher. The black also works well with most decor choices. The value is proportional to the cost. Although getting this model on sale would be nice, the price is not too bad. Installation is easy with professional help, which also does not cost very much.

I chose this machine because of its reputation. I researched brand, and Kenmore had wonderful reviews. People were happy with most models and long performance. I really like how my Kenmore dishwasher has several cycles to wash the dishes. I can do a quick clean, or the ultimate scrub that lasts 99 minutes. It’s the longest cycle that sanitized the dishes. I like that cycle, but dont always need it. I could use one right below it, about 70 minutes, that still scrubs, but maybe not sanitize.

In 2016 I purchased a Kenmore Elite 14793 Dishwasher based on years of experience with Kenmore (I have purchased washer and dryers, and refrigerators from them) and never had a issue. 4 months ago, during a load of dishes started drying, I could suddenly smell smoke and plastic burning. Upon inspecting the dishwasher, I found a wheel had fallen off the lower rack and melted and was burning on the heating element. I cleaned the mess up the best I could and saw that the wheels were held onto the rack with a small plastic piece. I contacted Sears parts department and ordered the replacement wheels (one set of two on a plastic mount). The woman I talked to on the phone told me that she had just had another call for the same thing and had other calls on this as well. No good. They know there is a problem and wont correct it. The cost for the wheel assembly was more than $50 with shipping.When I went to remove the rack and replace the old wheel assembly, three more wheels fell off. The small plastic bushing that holds the wheels on were all shrunken and cracked. Obviously they were very cheap and not meant to be used in such a hot environment. Kenmore advised that since there has been no recall and its not under warranty that there is nothing they can do but sell me the parts to fix it. Why would I buy $200 in parts that will not last 3 years. This company no longer produces quality dishwashers and will not stand behind obvious defective parts.

Overall I was happy with the Kenmore dishwasher, the price was fair, and it performed the way that I needed it to. The only reason I dont have it now is because circumstances would not allow me to travel with it. I was pleased with the amount of space that was in my dishwasher. With six people living in the house, you can imagine that there were quite a few dishes that piled up. Because of the differences in racks, I was able to fit a variety of different dishware during each wash cycle. While it might not be the sleekest dishwasher in the market, it matched the other appliances in my kitchen just fine. What it might lack in aesthetics, it makes up for in performance. For the price that was paid, I feel as though we really got our moneys worth. Our washer really helped make things manageable around the house.

Kenmore is a great dishwasher. It does its job by providing me with clean dishes. However, it leaks and smells sometimes but we rent and it came with it so it may have had a problem before. Plus, its a perfect size. It fits all my dishes and glasses accordingly and chests every inch of them. It even hold my wine glasses because I drink a ton of wine. Its stainless steel and very sleek/Looking. It Matches with my kitchen and the button are on the top part hidden so no one can see it. Purchased all new Kenmore Elite Appliances for my new home 5 years ago. Within 3 months our dishwasher just stopped working. Repairman came out and had to order parts.
