Beware. This is the second unit we have had that has blown the main fuse internally for no reason other than poor design and manufacturing. This causes the unit stop working completely. It is an easy repair and upgraded parts are available online but this should not happen at all given the cost of the units. It is such a common problem that forums are inundated with posts about people having this issue. I am not willing to buy one of these overpriced pieces of cheap manufacturing from Sears again. For the same or a little more I can purchase a unit that will work properly in the long run. Our current one lasted only just over a year before failing. Since our last unit failed as well I could repair it myself as the same part fails almost every time. My parents Kenmore dishwasher has had the same thing happen to it as well. I would recommend that anyone serious about a reliable dishwasher stay far away from the Kenmore brand.

Not only is it old it is loud and it has a problem shutting off after the wash cycle. It is an ongoing problem. Most of the time after it finishes wash cycle it remain on and we have to throw the circuit breaker to get it to turn off. It does a good job cleaning the dishes and holds a good sized load.

I can no longer use the rinse aid feature. Does a poor job cleaning. It has great features, but they dont work anymore. Stopped working in less than a year. Totally adequate. Looks fine. Just doesnt work all that well. It was great when it worked. Made a big difference in the way dishes looked and its been very disappointing ever since.

The washer works extremely well as does the dryer. Very satisfied. I have had the washer and dryer for the last five years. I have never had a problem with the washer or dryer or dishwasher I currently own. I have owned the washer, dryer for over a year. The washer cleans the clothes very well. My dryer works extremely well. It usually takes approximately one half hour to dry a medium size load. My utility bill is extremely low because I use washer and dryer up to ten times a week. I am able to wash and dry blankets in the washer and dry them in dryer, so I am so glad I dont have to go to the laundromat to do my laundry.

Its a wonderful dishwasher that gets my dishes spotless. Id recommend it to anyone. Its very shiny and nice. If you want clean dishes then its what you should get. I can fit all of my pots and pans and bowls in this washer. My family and friends are always amazed by the amount of dishes Im able to do in one load. Its enormous! The steel finish is so beautiful. Not only is the finish impeccable, but its easy to clean and doesnt keep fingerprints like my other steel appliances. This dishwasher was a great deal. And it has stayed economical because it saves on water. Im able to do more dishes quickly. Woo! A nice washer all around.

Dishwasher is tough on grime and stains. Powerful spray that leaves dishes sparkling clean. Dependable performance over the years while in use every other day for cleaning household ware. Inside dishwasher there are nice compartments to hold household dishes comfortably. Could use even more racks to maximize space but does hold a good amount but could be better. Kenmore dishwasher has a nice sleek style while retaining a comfy kitchen look. Easy to clean but use nice cleaner to avoid streaks. Control panel easy to use and offers a nice clean beauty to appliance. The price of the Kenmore dishwasher is reasonable considering that it will be dependable. Its also a bargain considering cost of other higher end brands.

Quality, cleans perfectly. The majority of the time, it gets sticky spots cleaned up. Dont need to pre-rinse, or use extra soap tablets. The size is big enough for most dishes, and I can fit my Crock-Pot inside the plate rack. The silverware section is well organized as well. It looks good, but there are some things that arent that visually appealing. Could use smoother corners on the sides. Only suggestion would be to make it a nicer color. Id personally recommended this dishwasher. It cleans well and is worth the original value. Totally would buy it again, and suggest it to friends.

Real good at getting dishes clean and spotless if you use a decent detergent. Runs through cycles quickly and quietly. It also holds a considerable amount of dishes pot and pans. Fits real snug and never leaks. The size is real helpful. It has two racks and slide it in and out. Pulled quite a few dishes pots and pans get some real clean every time. A lot of silverware and stuff can be put in the separate thing. I love it. The appearance looks great and Id recommend it to anybody because he can get multiple colors and you cant even tell its there. Easy to use controls and no chips on the inside like anything that made a good quality material. I think it was a real good deal and it was affordable. I was able to finance and cant beat the price.

Kenmore always meets my expectations. The products last longer and buttons and knobs do not seem to break and fall apart as easy as with other brands. Plus, it is affordable. I really like this type of dishwasher. It is not loud as other dishwashers and it is done in a timely manner. It is a very good dishwasher. I would like a dishwasher that doesnt take as long to do the dishes. But most of all, I like the durability. That is really important.

Not powerful at cleaning. It would generally leave food residue on plates and glass ware. Only lasted two years before it needed to be replaced. The dishwasher size was pretty good. It had enough rack space and the silverware area was respectable to hold all the necessary items. I think little bit more of an adjustment wouldve been an order so that you could get longer or should say taller items in the dishwasher. The parents of the dishwasher fit nicely into my kitchen, match the rest of my appliances and I thought that it function appropriately with the Decor. I thought the price was a little high for the quality. After I was using it for a while I figured that the price I was paying for it and from what I was told by the salesman that would be a good dishwasher but unfortunately it turned out not to be that way for the price.

I purchased a Kenmore elite refrigerator less than 3 years ago. Within the first year - 2 of the drawers had the front break off. Sears did replace these. About 14 months after purchase 2 more had broken and they would no longer replace them - I could purchase new ones for $130 each. Over the next year the ice maker quit working and 2 of the other drawers broke too. A few night ago - my wife was cleaning the fridge and the door fell off. We had purchased a Kenmore elite dishwasher at the same time. That quit working in less than 2 years. I had the service tech out for $85. He told me that he would have to replace the main board and the pump for $350 and that still might not fix it. I dont think I would buy a Kenmore product again.

We live in a smaller 2 bedroom apartment and it is the perfect size for our small kitchen. It fits a lot of dishes in there too. Love the stylish appearance. This dishwasher has served me and my family well for 2 years and it still has room in the tank left to be the most efficient dishwasher you can have. The holding space is amazing and its good for those very big dinners. I mostly pile on my large objects on top of the smaller one so that everything will be clean. The dishwasher has a neutral color to it. Great for home projects that dont need much color or depth into it. The holding space is whitish/grayish look as well. It has saved me a pretty penny whenever the soap is running over. Power/Cost efficient so you dont have to worry about your bill rising.

This dishwasher is very good. It was not too pricey, to begin with. It never breaks and has never been broken so no maintenance has been required. It leaves the dishes very clean. It also does not make too much noise and does not take a long time for each cycle like other dishwasher machines. It fits perfectly in the designated area and the inside is very spacious and has special places for each type of dish. Its appearance is elegant, simple, clean and looks like new even after owning it for a few years.

The dishwasher I had was very good and clean the dishes very good without having to wash the dishes first. It left quite a shine on the dishes when using a liquid washer. It was 36 in by 48 in high with wheels so that I could roll it around. It very Durable and lightweight. The kitchen was very small but got the job done. It was very light - maybe a white or a off white in color but very good looking dishwasher that I would recommended to family or friends. I know they would like it. I used it for around 3 months, and in that time period it did a good enough job. Well I have a family of 5, so usually when I did dishes I had to do 2 loads to fit everything in and get it cleaned. It wasnt too much of a hassle, my family uses a lot of dishware. It definitely looks good in any modern kitchen. My specific dishwasher was silver with black trim on the top. It was compact and it didnt take up too much space. Overall it looked good and even added to the room it was in. I wasnt able to test it enough before I moved, there was a brand new dishwasher at my new house. So I cant say for sure but for what Ive seen Id say it was well worth the money. I didnt have a single problem with it when I used it.

It does get things clean, but sometimes theres water stains left on it. Or discolored plates that have to be washed AGAIN. Other than that, I am satisfied with the product. However, I would like a more powerful one, one day. The size is great. A bigger one could be amazing! But, I wont lie, Im pleased with the current size. :) It gets pretty much all my needed dishes cleaned within one load and nothing left over! Its okay. Its pretty boring and standard looking (but, I guess since it mainly does get the job done, how can I complain? LOL!) I would not get another water heater from Sears. My hot water heater is seven years old and started leaking with two years left on the warranty. I had no hot water and had water all over the basement floor and called a local plumber to replace the tank so we can shower, wash dishes etc. When I called the warranty department, the service rep. notified me that because I had the tank changed with a new one, the warranty for the existing tank is void, even though I have the pictures of standing water in the basement and the defective water tank is still in the basement. Please, what should I have done? Have the water tank leak and do more damage to my basement and have no hot water for a week until your tech gets there? This is a joke of a hot water heater warranty. Go buy your next hot water tank from Lowes or Home Depot, you are much better off.

I didnt choose to buy the Kenmore dishwasher, it came with the condo that I purchased. The best feature I really liked about it was the fact that I didnt have to wash the dishes. I never had a problem with the dishwasher and it was very quiet. However, there were times with the dishwasher where I had to run the dishwasher twice in order to get my dishes clean. Also, sometimes the dishwasher would leave water spots. But I believe the Kenmore has met my expectations of keeping my dishes clean. Very nice equipment.

I purchased this dishwasher because it had great reviews from Consumer Reports! After 3 years the bottom power wash blade has stopped working, and the appliance repairman said the motor is shot, and its leaking. He suggested buying a new dishwasher! I paid $1100 for this machine. No, I did not purchase an extended warranty. In addition around the same time I purchased a Sears side by side refrigerator that we keep in our garage. The temperature gauge had to be replaced as well. What has happened to Sears quality. I will never purchase another Sears appliance again.

Kenmore is a well known brand of kitchen appliances and it did meet my expectations in every way. It was a really good dishwasher and never had any problems whatsoever with it. But, I dislike how water stayed in the bottom of mine after the wash cycle. I’m not sure if it was just a defect in the one I had bought but I loved everything else about it. I also like that it really does good with getting the dishes clean and I feel like they always had a streak free shine and a good heated wash cycle and left my dishes smelling good every time.

Plenty of room for 4 serving size of dinner plates, glasses and all other things used at a family meal. Pots and pans are not a problem. They always come clean. No pre-rinsing is required before loading to have all come out spotless. It is a built in Dishwasher and is the regular size of built-in dishwashers. I dont know the exact dimensions. It is large capacity interior, which will take care of a large amount of dishes, silverware, glasses and pots and pans. The door is easy to open and controls are in a handy location. My Kenmore Dishwasher has a white exterior with silver trim around the top. It matches other kitchen appliances that I have. Everything is well-coordinated which gives good decor. I dont remember just how much I paid for the Kenmore Dishwasher but it was priced right. I purchased at Sears and got financing which made it nice.

Kenmore has a great reputation, also many friends and family recommended it to me. I grew up having this brand in my household and its not as expensive as some other brands. I dont need fancy colors or anything. Just wanted something reliable, inexpensive and could get the job done. I really like all of the features currently on my new dishwasher. It gets my dishes super clean and it has several settings on it including super heavy for my pots and pans. However, I really wish it was easier to clean. It has a self clean setting but I have to buy special soap for it that only comes in one size.

Good machine. Dishes are always clean. It is water smart. Holds more dishes than most. Very quiet. Does not need a lot of dishwasher soap but still gets the dishes clean. Racks are large enough to hold most of my pans. It has two very large shelves. Only problem is that there is no place for the silverware. Quiet and gets the job done quickly. Dishes come out shining and all the food particles are gone. Very nice. If kept up the work put into fixing up was worth it. Easy to keep clean inside and out. When I initially started the remodel of my kitchen, I wanted non-generic appliances that looked good and were energy efficient. Its high efficiency feature is why I purchased the dishwasher. I also wanted silver or black, so this is the model I ended up with. Its extremely loud during all cycles. The drain on it breaks every other time I used it and it only works without problems half of the time. That said, I dont use it often as I travel frequently, so Im not terribly concerned. Kenmore was recommended by my condo building maintenance guy. He installed it without giving me other options. I would have gone with a different model, but its good enough for me until I sell my condo.

The dishwasher is Easy to use and has ample loading space. In general, Im very satisfied with the features of my dishwasher. I chose this dishwasher because I have a few friends and family who own it, and they absolutely love it! It is for sale for a great, affordable price and who doesnt love to save money?! I know I do and I think it is great because it does a great job at getting off all the food. Sometimes my family cant remember to rinse the dishes before putting them in, no matter how many times I tell them. But this dishwasher has clean dishes every time. All my past washers would leave food stuck on. Gross! But one of the things I dislike about it is that it takes a long time and wish it was a bit faster. I have yet to find a great dishwasher that gets all the food off and is super fast. Maybe its just as fast as it goes. Other than that, I absolutely love this washer! I would highly suggest buying one.

We purchased a top of the line dishwasher 2 years ago (Kenmore Elite). All of our appliances are Kenmore. It was around $700-$800. It quit advancing the washing cycle. It would cost us $600 just for the part to fix it and Kenmore pretty much told us sorry about your luck. Needless to say, we will purchase future appliances from Lowes or Home Depot.

I am satisfied at how clean everything is. I would describe my dishwashers performance as very nice. I would recommend it because it washes those dishes right up! The dishwasher doesnt take up the whole kitchen which is nice. It is smaller than a refrigerator and larger than a trash can which is a good size for a dishwasher to be. It could always be smaller, but then it couldnt hold more dishes. The more dishes that get clean, the better, so Id say the size is just right!This dishwasher is on fleek. The color and model are super pleasing on the eye. The manufacturer obviously knew what they were doing when they made this dishwasher. I love it. The value is very good. The Kenmore dishwasher works great, it gets off even stuck on food that I thought would be dried on. I bought a rinse aid for the dishwasher because my water is hard and it left spots but it left no spots after that and even the harder things to clean with the little crevices and grooves came out clean. It has a few different settings to help meet the exact needs of the dishes you are washing in each load. I have a family of 5 and we do two loads a day and can fit everything into the dishwasher (since the kids hate hand washing). I am able to fit several cups, bowls and larger utensils on the top rack and then the silverware, plates and larger items on the bottom rack without issue. When Im not looking the kids even sneak pots into the dishwasher with the dinner dishes without incident. This dishwasher looks nice in the kitchen and matches well with my other appliances. It has a sleek look and doesnt seem to hold smears and fingerprints like some other appliances that Ive had in the past. This dishwasher also has stood the test of time in my kitchen and gets used more than daily. For the price it was a great investment in not hearing the kids whine about having to hand wash the dishes. I believe this was a great purchase and would do it again.

Sometimes I have to prewash some dishes depending on what kind of food was on them. The dishwasher works better with nonsticky dishes. The size is about average. Its not very big but I can fit a good-sized load in it. Its the right size for my kitchen. I like the size. Its white so it matches my other appliances in the kitchen. Easy to clean inside and out. Mine was white and the surface was very easy to keep clean. No fingerprints. Just wiped it down with a soapy towel and dried it off. I ran it empty to clean the inside. After comparing prices and brands, the Kenmore stood out as the best value. I have not regretted buying this dishwasher, it has delivered in all areas, cost, reliability, getting my dishes clean and overall satisfaction.

It does a great job of cleaning all the dishes. It uses a small amount of water and electricity to run and it didnt cost a lot of money.

It washes my dishes with no problems at all. It even lasts past the apocalypse. Who knew this thing would be an amazing product. It is big and it washes the dishes with ease. It is a massive machine that can fit in any kitchen. This is an amazing looking product. Who else would want a product as amazing looking as this. It is cool looking and everyone should get it. Any poor person can afford it and put it in their home today, it goes at a very low price.

Bought a dishwasher about 1 yr ago. Worst washer I ever had. If I dont wash the dishes first they dont come out clean and they are never dried. I would never buy another one. I dont know if it has a defect but I cant figure out whats wrong.

Nozzles are ideally placed to hit all items, regardless of how badly stacked. The Normal routine is a little longer than what I thought is necessary but Im sure there was copious research involved. The utensil tray is a little small but is movable to accommodate larger pots on the bottom shelf if needed. This dishwasher is super quiet. Trays are nicely separated to accommodate the majority of dishes. Wash arms are recessed to allow full use of space. Stainless steel stains easily. I would never purchase stainless steel appliances again, especially a dishwasher. Door must be opened to access pause button. Noisy with original sound blanket. If you have another, install that to lighten the noise. Overall, a great dishwasher that steadily performs up to two loads a day, 365 days a year.

I like it. Its convenient and gets the job done good. I have been using this for 5 years without any problems. Id recommend it. Docked a star on the rating because didnt like the internal design. I wish theres more planning on the grid for the dishes. It is big enough for everything I needed to fit in there. Looks beautiful, has a modern view if you clean it as often. I was recommended a Kenmore dishwashing machine by a close family friend. She loves hers, and it has met her expectations as well as my own. I would improve the noise level on the dishwasher, I feel that whenever it was running I was unable to concentrate on anything else. I often had to wait until late at night before going to bed to start the dishwasher, so that I was able to hear the television. It did not, however, interfere with my sleep. It works well. I like it and it looks great in my kitchen. My dishes always come out very nice and clean and is quite quiet. I was worried that it wouldnt fit in the very space I had wanted it to go but it did fit there and looks great. Im very happy with it. It fits in with my whole kitchen theme as I have the black theme going with all my appliances so this was exactly what I wanted and I was able to find it with this product. The price for this is great as it works so very well.

It does its job but I hardly ever use it because I always seem like I am cleaning the dishes and other cookware again when the dishwasher is done. It’s a standard size for the dishwasher. I, however, would measure the space that you want the dishwasher to go in. It matches all of my other black appliances. Maybe someday different colors will be available in a special order. I did some research on this. I got a good deal but I wish it cleaned my dishes a little better. If you want something more economical this is good.

Dishes are clean with minimal rinsing. Mostly comes out of the dishwasher with no spots and water marks. It tends not to leave my glass bowls and dishes cloudy. I am happy to load a normal days dishes plus a bit more. It fits into the space it is designed for, it blends well into my cupboards bigger plates, and pots fit ok. The black finish matches my darker cupboards and kind of blend in. I like the way it looks even though I have stainless other appliances on my white cupboards. We were able to buy it on sale. Larger the size lets load more dishes and wash less. This lets us save energy water and soap. We are happy with the price we paid.

The Kenmore we had was in our townhouse when we purchased it. It was a few years old and didnt have the features we wanted in a dishwasher. It was not a very efficient machine but did the job...for a while. Thats the only good thing about it, but we didnt dislike anything it did. It was an entry model, no bells or whistles. It did not have special racks that moved, it didnt have fold down racks and two washing wands, it only had one small utensil holder and no place for larger items. We soon replaced it and now have a Bosch dishwasher and are very pleased. I am sure Kenmore has better models now, but we wanted a Bosch.

Simple function, cleaned dishes really well, easy to use, energy-efficient and fast drying time, easy to load, very little leaking, easy for children to load and unload. It was big enough to hold and clean my familys everyday dish use. It sometimes had to separate the really dirty pots and pans from the dinnerware. It blended well into the rest of the kitchen. Easy wipe down. Really up to date looking but not standing out. Easy to match with my existing appliances. I thought it was a little pricey but the price was worth the quality of the machine. Very little maintenance cost and upkeep. I guess paying for the brand is worth it.

It is a good brand and can be trusted in cleaning the dishes. Have been using this brand for years so I know this brand is tested and trusted. Very efficient in cleaning. Good in sanitizing. The timer is doing great. It is easy to use and operate. Perfectly fit in our tiny kitchen. But some cant hardly remove hard grease and dirt. Longer the time in cleaning and rinsing and sanitize more properly. It can help save water while using the unit.

I love Kenmore Appliances! We have owned three Kenmore dishwashers, both of which we purchased. Our first one was for an apartment we were renting in 1979 when our son was born. I wanted one specifically to sterilize bottles. It was roomy and did a good job, but was rather noisy. Our second one was for our first house and replaced another brand. It was quieter and very roomy. The 3rd was even roomier and quieter and had soft touch buttons and a digital display. We try to buy Kenmore appliances whenever possible. The brand is synonymous with quality. They are dependable, stylish and provide great value for the price. Kenmore offers the latest features, and the sales people are unfailingly friendly and extremely knowledgeable and helpful. We have looked at the Kenmore Elite models and when our current KitchenAid (came with the house and was new) gives out, we will replace it with a Kenmore. I like the adjustable racks and would like it if the cycle was even MORE environmentally friendly. I like having options on the length of the cycle and how much water is used. I would also like it if all surfaces in the dishwashers were stainless steel.

Gets the job done. The dishes come out clean. Rarely theres dishes which have marks, but for the most part 9/10 performance. Nothing is perfect, but this is somewhat on its way. The size is enough to load a nights dinner mess and portions of breakfast and lunch. Has handy compartments for silverware and other smaller utensils. The overall appearance of the item is one of something sleek, innovative, but sadly nothing original. Its nice but similar designs can be seen on numerous other products. Looks great, gets the job done, adequate space, you get what you pay for! If only you could offer more coupons Id purchase even more.

I like the overall design of the dishwasher! When it was used it cleaned perfectly and there was so much space. It had many different functions you could use. It was also economical and saved water. The only thing I would improve would be the amount of time it took to wash the dishes seemed to take awhile. Overall its been great. If I had to choose to buy another I would probably buy the same one again.

I have a Sears Kenmore. It is an excellent dishwasher.

The dishwasher washed the dishes and pans very well. Always the glasses got clean without water spots. Rinsed the dishes very good. Always used cascade and will stay with product. A good washer. Always had enough space for the loads of dishes that I had. The pot and pans always came clean. Very little problems with the machine. The front was not very nice, but since the washer worked well, we decided to try this appliance.

I purchased my Kenmore in the summer of 1999. Ive never had a service call on it, and never had a problem with it. It cleans the clothes pretty well, but I wouldnt rate it as great. Its been a good purchase for the money, and has far outlasted the fancy name brands that some of my friends have. My biggest beef is that Sears insisted that the county in which I live adds a permit charge, and therefore, my good deal went up significantly. I made the same mistake when I purchased a refrigerator and dishwasher from Sears. They charged me a permit charge. I later learned that there is no such thing.

We bought the Kenmore appliance because its a brand we are used to and is reliable and the quality is by far better than other brands. The washing machine washes the dishes really great. It very reliable. Never breaks down and the glasses and cups are clean and clear and the color looks great in the kitchen. Easy to load and the utensils come out shiny and clean. Plenty of space for every pot, pan or serving trays. They all fit in nice and very neatly. The washer could be more energy efficient and made from recycled materials, the hinges can be of better quality, more rust resistant and could come with a lifetime warranty. The washers door could be more stain resistant and maybe have a glass window on the front of the washer so one can see if the machine is working properly. Our family has used Kenmore for years and year and I cannot recall having any.

It fights food stuck on and doesnt stick during dry mode. It can load a lot of dishes and also it has many great settings to chose from. No matter what setting its on or how many dishes you have in, it gets the job done. The size is great. I have a lot of room for my dishes as well as for my counter top. I can fit all my plates in there. I can fit all my bowls in there. I can fit all my pans in there. It always looks brand new every time I use it. It can wash the really dirty stuff and never leaves a trace on my dishwasher as well as most importantly all my dishes. The value is the best way for you to do the job. The only way you could get some other stuff into the dishwasher and its cheap yet very efficient. I highly recommend it.

We find it absolutely amazing that our Kenmore Ultra Wash is still the ORIGINAL one we purchased when we bought our house, which was in 1995. It still works fine, 25 YEARS LATER..!! I also don’t even think we EVER had to call a repairman for it. I asked my wife and she also never recalls having it repaired for any reason. Lucky..?? Guess so as I believe the average lifespan for a dishwasher is 10 years..?? I could be wrong. Anyway, it works just fine and dishes still are coming out clean and glasses have no spots. I should be in a commercial with this baby..!!

We bought a Kenmore because it was discounted deeply at Lowes. It had been a floor model, bought and then returned; so it was around 75% off. We went with the intention of saving money and ended up with a nice Kenmore. It met our expectations fully. It had several useful settings. There was even an option to sterilize the dishes with really hot water. I like the setting but it left soap spots on everything, so the cooler setting was ultimately better. Also, there were lots of little cubbies to put small items. Its hard to find bad things about a machine that worked perfectly for several years. The top rack would slip off the track and be a pain to put back, but that was about it.

I purchased a Kenmore dishwasher in June of 2018. The dishwasher is now leaking. I called customer service and spoke with two people who could barely speak English. There is a 1 year manufacturers warranty on the product but I was told that if the technician that came out determined that the problem was not covered under the warranty I would have to pay a $150 service fee! What kind of warranty is that? I will never purchase an appliance from Kenmore or Sears ever again!!! Horrible experience!

I have found this to be a very dependable dishwasher that I can count on to leave my dishes clean. It runs long enough to do a good job but not too long so as to be wasteful. I do worry about efficiency as I have had some dishwashers in the past that run for over an hour, which is too long. Its an average size and good for a couple or small family. It holds 6-8 plates and there is plenty of room for glasses and silverware. Its a standard looking dishwasher, nothing special, but it blends into my kitchen very well and isnt noticeable. Its mainly silver with black trim and would work in most kitchens. It runs efficiently and uses a moderate amount of water so I feel it is a good choice. The price was fair for the performance. I feel it is a good value.

The Kenmore dishwasher does everything that I need a dishwasher to do which is to clean my dishes so I do not have to do them by hand. As a retired disabled American veteran with injuries from Vietnam the simple settings for washing dishes makes it easy for me to use. The settings are easy to understand and apply. It has been very dependable too. I have only had a repairman from Sears come to my condo only once and that was to replace the circuit board that had been fried from an electrical surge.

This is the second Kenmore product I have bought that has not even lasted 5 years. This dishwasher stopped heating up for washing and drying. The repairman said it would cost $380 to repair as the control board needs to be replaced. I saw there is a recall related to the control board on Kenmore dishwashers but my model is not on the list. Good product. Has Eco-Friendly Wash Cycle, has Quick Cycle, Delicate Cycle, and Steam Wash. It also has Fan Dry, air dry and heated dry... Dishwasher is just the right size for any occasion. I have never had a problem fitting anything that needed to be washed. Doesnt get much better than this brand of dishwasher. Appearance is good. The one Im using has a stainless finish, which matches all my other appliances. It also comes in a black finish. The value with this brand of dishwasher is worth it. Having had several dishwashers over the years, I can say this is the best one Ive had. They are not the cheapest, but they are well worth the money.

It worked pretty good. I always rinse before I set them in though. So I didnt really try it full potential. It work fast as well but I hate the drying spot on dishes though. It was the average size dishwasher that comes in a typical apartment. I could fit the day worth of dishes in there so it worked for me. But Im single living alone so I would recommend something larger for family. It had a nice appearance. It did blend well kitchen scenery and the rest of kitchen appliances. Sleek and modern would be the best words to describe it. I feel like I got the money out of it. I did not have any maintenance issues with it. It was easy to maintain. I bought a Kenmore dishwasher approximately 5 years ago. I have had to repair the same problem twice within the last two years and the same problem just occurred again! The soap dispenser door stops opening and it has been burnt on the back of the dispenser unit and the motherboard has burn marks where the dispenser plugs into it. This is the same problem three times now. Ive now spent over a thousand dollars to repair a $400 dishwasher! This third time I was done repairing it out of my pocket so I called the 18004MYHOME number and spoke with a rude alleged customer service representative. I explained my frustrations and acknowledged it wasnt his fault but was hoping Kenmore could repair it for me or offer a discount to buy another Kenmore dishwasher even though I really didnt want to. The guy kept repeating the same things and saying I cant get it repaired for free with a smug tone. I then stated that I have had no problem paying over a thousand dollars at this point just dont feel its right for me to pay again. And said Im buying a new dishwasher and was hoping you could offer anything to make me want to buy Kenmore again. He continued to have an attitude and I asked for a supervisor, he muted me and I kept asking for him to give me his name and transfer me to a supervisor and he hung up on me. I was on a landline so not a random disconnect. Also he had muted me several times throughout the call and would come back on. He was extremely rude and basically I will never want to be a Kenmore customer again. If you cant stand behind your product and realize that after three times of the same thing happening thats not a problem with the product then have customer service agents act disrespectful, rude and hang up on you, then I would recommend anyone to stay away from this company.

This dishwasher was already in a home I bought and when I saw it was a Kenmore I was skeptical. Much to my surprise, its the best dishwasher Ive ever had and Im 64 years old. It has 5 cycles and 5 options but the normal wash with heat dry is all Ive ever needed. It gets everything sparkling clean. The interior is stainless which I had never had before but its easy to wipe clean. The outside is sleek and unobtrusive. The controls are easy to see. Its practically silent. I only hear it for a minute or so as it cycles through.

Nice easy to use dishwasher that is quiet and cleans dishes rather fast. Takes packet, liquid, or powdered detergent. Is very quiet and runs through a cycle in under 30 minutes. Fits at least 30 large plates, and at least triple the amount in small plates. Fits about 32 cups on the top shelf. Bowls can be a bit of a trick, but it can fit at least 6 bowls on the top rack as well. Nice, easy to clean. White finish makes it easy to clean and maintain. Has easy to push buttons and settings that allow you choose the type of wash you wish to have. This dishwasher has lasted for years. Great value for the price and workmanship. I have yet to have any service done on this dishwasher besides some regular cleaning.

I have had my Kenmore dishwasher since we built our house 27 years ago. It is still working great. I wish it was quieter to run. Most of my Kenmore appliances have bit the dust but not the dishwasher.

It is energy efficient. Quiet. It powerfully cleans my dishes without a hitch. Its a gorgeous addition to our family kitchen. Its spray arm is powerful and scrubs heavily crusted plates without leaving behind any residue, at least that has been my experience. I fit up to a setting of eight though its capacity is up to ten plate settings. Its compact but powerful cleans dishes that are piled up. It is gorgeous, sleek, compact (but tall) and surface is easy to clean. It isnt bulky, giving it a modern and efficient appearance. Its about 36 inches tall and it is very deep. It is very inexpensive for what it can do. It is energy efficient with many settings to accommodate your loads. It is also easy to self install if you dont want Sears service people (or anybody else) to assist with installation.

I chose Kenmore Dishwashers because have a good reputation when it comes to their appliances. They deliver and install and I was able to find a good price. The reviews that I read during my research process were mostly positive. Also, I had a Kenmore dishwasher in an old apartment and I was satisfied with it. I like that it has different cycles for specific needs for dishes. The heat dry and the antibacterial option were great for sterilizing baby bottles, etc. I appreciated the non-drip tray for the dish liquid. I did not like how long it took to wash the dishes on the majority of the cycle options. Most of the time I couldnt hear the Done beep that is provided. Id rather it be louder or a music type of tune to be played so I can hear when its ready.

We have a 5 yr. old Kenmore Dishwasher that slowly leaked from the seal of the motor/pump assembly. We couldnt see any evidence of this until it had been leaking for some time as laid out by the forensic inspector from the insurance company. The dishwasher did about $30,000 in damage that our homeowners insurance wont cover. We have Sears Home Warranty that says it is secondary. We are hoping someone else has had success getting this covered. Our repair person said it is common with this model. How do I find anything in writing that speaks to this from the corporation?

I have been very happy with this dishwasher. I have had it for approximately 10 years and it’s still going strong! Cleans well and runs quietly. My only complaint would be the length of a run cycle. However, I think it is average for a energy efficient dishwasher.

Kenmore Dishwasher has a nice size. It fits an overflowing sink full of dishes with plenty of room for my larger pots and pans as well. It is easy to load and unload. It is cute. It collects a lot of dust and other particles from my four-year old daughter but nothing a little bleach cannot clean up. Otherwise it is very nice. You cannot beat the price for the performance you get. It is very affordable and gets the job done right the first time. No rewashing dishes over and over and no spots. Works great, cant beat that for sure. Kids can use it easily as well. No hassles, no fuss, just clean dishes every day!

It had plenty of room for the smaller items but not a ton of room for pizza pie pans. I just had to wash those by hand and leave the rest for the dishwasher. Other than it left a few tough dishes dirty, I never had a problem with this model at all. It lasted quite a while and didnt need much maintenance. The overall value of this piece of equipment was very good. It didnt cost a lot and did the job fairly well. So I was satisfied and glad to save some time.

It was inexpensive but worked for a long time. It got the dishes clean without having to scrap and hand wash first. It wasnt super loud which was nice. I didnt have any problems with it. We just moved and didnt need it at the new house. It was large enough for a growing family of five including disinfecting bottles and sippy cups. We even washed pots and pans sometimes in it. It was nice and clean, very neutral. It went well with the small kitchen. And the inside stayed clean, I have had some rust out on the inside, but this one held up. Horrible product. Will not start when you push start? WHY?? You think it will start but it wants to think???? STUPID. I will not buy Kenmore again. I want a product that I CONTROL, NOT the other way around. I do NOT want a SMART dishwasher. I want one that does what I want when I want.

The dishwasher works well enough, it saves time from washing the dishes by hand but I do notice a lot of spotting on the dishes after theyve dried, which is kind of annoying. Good size. I can fit about a days worth of dishes into the dishwasher. Sometimes its a bit harder to do everything in one load though if there are a lot of pots and pans that day. Its a nice light color, which keeps the kitchen bright and cheerful and I enjoy that over darker colors. It has a nice shine to it but not too shiny to make a glare when the sunlight comes in.

The dishwasher came pre-installed in the home we purchased so we did not have a say in the purchase. But we kept it because of its energy efficiency and the knowledge we had of Kenmore being awesome products. My Kenmore had an energy efficient rating which saved money by heating the water internally instead of using hot water from the water heater. It was also a great name brand we knew and trusted. However, the racks in the dishwasher needed to be bigger and easier to organize. New dishwashers have a silverware rack built in which would have been great. The shelves also needed to be further apart for large glasses.

Perceived value of my Kenmore Elite is more than I paid for it when you realize that you will receive many years of fine working from this appliance for the small price you originally paid for it. You get your moneys worth from this appliance in the long run so it is worth a little extra for more features too.
