After buying 3 Kenmore appliances from Sears (recommended by friends) I have had to pay out $300 for repairs to my refrigerator that is barely 3 years old. Is this the quality of the parts used to construct their appliances?? I am now waiting for something else to happen to, unfortunately, the other 2 appliances!! Not happy with Kenmore/Sears and will try to avoid products by that company.

Its a little loud at times, like making ice, but overall, is quiet. It has also lasted us a really long time. It makes food last longer, and we have had this fridge for years. Really worth the money. It can fit a lot of things in there. Kinda wished the freezer was a bit bigger, but both sides are pretty much perfect. It also is the right size because our family is short, and we can still reach everything for the most part. It is very elegant, and we can stick things on there. It is also very easy to clean and maintain. Dust doesnt even really stick to it. I would buy from this brand again. It was kinda expensive, but it is well worth the money. It was last, really easy to maintain, can store a lot of food, and keeps food lasting longer. You pay more for great quality.

Has worked very well for the 5 years Ive owned it. Very durable. Ive never had to replace any parts. I have not adjusted the temperature settings. I havent needed to. Overall works great. It can hold a good amount of food. The drawers really come in handy. I can fit a full grocery trips worth. The shelves are nice and sturdy. I love it. Easy to clean. Can wipe down with a rag. Very clean look. I like that there is a cover for the vent. Matches everything in my kitchen perfectly. Does not stain. Very affordable trusted brand. There are several options for repair needs. You definitely get your moneys worth. This brand is available just about everywhere. I got mine at Sears. I love it.

The refrigerator is reliable, expendable, and trendy. Right now the features I love because it’s a big improvement since my last refrigerator, and I can’t complain about the space. I have more space for food and dont have to depend on a whole freezer to store extra food. Also, with the extra space, it keeps my food fresh and cool instead of spoiling quicker than other refrigerators because of the lack of space. It’s also slim fit and tight storage which also keeps your food and beverages fresh over time. I love that the water is purified and I don’t have to buy a whole water filter system because with a system you have to replace every three months which can cost more money over time. When you can just buy a refrigerator with natural water filtration system and contain less contaminants than any tap water or water bottle brand you can find in the market or any stores out right now. The water is ph7 and up which means it’s no contaminants in the water and I don’t have to buy any filter and also my ice is already clean and purified because of the brand-new updated features. I was close to choosing Whirlpool but I chose Kenmore because of the reputation and how their customers was very pleased and happy to share their experiences with the brand free of choice. And in my opinion, Kenmore is similar to an smart refrigerators because of the up-to-date technology and have open USBs. It’s child and spill-proof because it stops upcoming spills from happening and protects other shelves from getting messy if it was to happened because previous refrigerators don’t have that security. If an spill happened everything gets wet, so I like the safety and precaution needs of the consumer.

The ice maker jams frequently. All of the shelves on the door have broken. Stuff stays cold. The shelves are easily removable for cleaning. We have a large eight member family and this refrigerator easily fits all of our groceries for the week. I do wish that some of the shelves were taller so that we could stand up more gallons of milk, salad dressings, etc. We have the black model. It hides scratches and dings that come with normal family life well. It fits well into the space in our cabinets. We have owned this refrigerator for 8 years now. It has never had to be repaired. Given the price we paid for it we definitely feel as though we have gotten our money worth.

Love my Kenmore appliances - they are truly quality. Weve had it for several years (approximately 12). The one problem we had with the fridge was fixed with one phone call. Since then, no problems, and we are very happy with it!

Its great very quiet and have never had a problem. Cools and freezes fast and never a outage or melt down. The best on the market that I have ever found. Really big size for all a large family needs but it is too large perhaps for a single person. It would be nice to have the same model in a small apt size. The style is nice and so are the features but the color choices could be better. Really great price for what I pay for. The upfront cost will be repaid within a few years as mine has and as long as it keeps working I will make my whole investment back.

Has excellent coolant, nice ice water/water dispenser and ice dispenser. It is one of the top names also. Beautifully laid out and easy to put things in. It is very dependable and the quality is great as well. You will find this brand to last forever and love the ice maker and water maker. The appearance is very beautiful. It is easy to clean and shine it up and it is just a very attractive refrigerator. The value was excellent for I had shopped around a lot and this was the best value for what I was looking for. You will enjoy this refrigerator very much.

I am enjoying my Kenmore refrigerator. I have not had any problems with it. It keeps my food and beverages cold. I really love the amount of features the Kenmore Refrigerator comes with. It comes with an ice machine and a water filter. It also has temperature control and has lasted me about three years. Although it is a great working fridge it does have its problems. The power consumption on the fridge is honestly not even that good and I would definitely check it on the website. But it pretty much exceeded expectations because it is a very affordable fridge and comes with many different features that I could not be happier with. I would honestly buy it again.

There is plenty of room for the family. Enough room in the freezer section. Its frost free. Keeps drinks cold and frozen food frozen. Plenty of room for everything a family needs. It fits in a normal house allotted space in the cabinet layout. Room enough for gallon jugs of liquids and 24 packs of soft drinks. Its sanitary white, easy to clean. Freezer is on the top. Refrigerator on the bottom. Interior is white, Coils are located in the rear. Theres a drip pan underneath to catch the defrost drainage. It is very valuable because it is well insulated to maintain temperatures during short power outages. Its well made so it will last longer without needing to be replaced.

I like Kenmore refs bottom freezer, the ice maker in the door, shelves can be moved to accommodate various size items, the freezer has many different compartments, which allows you to customize the storage of items, and the grab n go feature. However, this feature often does not keep the case fully closed, thus making it swing open when you open the door. Items often fall through to the floor in the freezer compartment and its a very big refrigerator. Kenmore has not met my expectations, largely due to customer service response. The refrigerator is a good value overall, but I would go with a different brand next time because of Sears reputation.

Receive it about 10 years ago for mothers day. The best gift. It is black with the freezer on top. Easy to clean cause the shelves pull out. A very good size for us. At one time all of 5 kids lived here so a lot of opening and closing.

We have had it for about a year now and normally our other freezers would start having issues, but this one has not and keeps everything super cold. It has a lot of space and it is easy to store things. With all the drawers it makes organizing so easy. And I like that its wire, it makes it easy to clean. It is very clean in appearance. I like the white color, it keeps it classic. The inside is also white as is the wire shelves and the shelves on the door. It was a great price. Normally we have our freezers break after about three years and half to buy a new one so it was great that this one wasnt very expensive.

No ice, poor cooling, slow response for added on 500 dollars Sears warranty. Under one year old fridge, evasive stalling by outsourced warranty company, three minute visit by the repair company. DONT BUY. DONT BUY. DONT BUY.

It lasted for fifteen years and I loved it. Once I have more money I do plan on buying me another Kenmore refrigerator. Good brand that is reliable and good quality products. Definitely a keeper. Never a disappointment.

I own a Kenmore refrigerator freezer that stands side by side. It also has a built in water and ice dispenser. Ive had it for six years and have never had trouble with it. The water dispenser has a replaceable filter which makes me feel more comfortable drinking it. It was put in storage for over a year through hot and freezing temperatures. It still works fine. I feel very comfortable with the size of the freezer, something I find many of to be too small. The shelves including those on the door, are adjustable. That has come in handy when placing large containers in it. I would recommend it to others.

Purchased a Kenmore bottom-freezer refrigerator (Model 596.6931...) (19 cu ft) about 2 weeks ago. Functionally and space-wise, it is very good. But it is the noisiest refrigerator we have ever been around. About half the time when it is running, it makes popping and crackling noises - almost like it is making popcorn. We thought this might be a start-up thing as described in the manual, but it is still continuing. If you expect to have this refrigerator in an area that you use frequently (like a kitchen), do NOT buy this model. It might be fine in a basement or garage, but not in your living space. Much too noisy for a normal household kitchen.

Poor Ice Maker performance on our Kenmore model 106.5113 Refrigerator (Purchased April 21st, 2015). We are dissatisfied with the quantity of ice our new Kenmore refrigerator produces. We called Sears for a repair technician to come out and look at the unit. The technician explained the Sears no longer offers a repair service for these units and he was a third party contractor. He couldnt find anything wrong with the unit and said the new unit is not as good as the old ones. He suggested the accelerator option to force the refrigerator to make ice faster. I told him we tried that and even in accelerator mode, it only fills about one-half of the ice bin in twenty-four hours. We usually do without ice about midday. Our last Kenmore lasted 24 yrs and until the day it died it still would fill the ice bin in less than 24 hours. I wish I would have had it repaired now instead of this piece of junk. His only advice was to use accelerator mode. This is an indoor ice maker and it is very inferior to our previous machine if thats the case. We use to fill a small ice chest with our old machine and it would be full again in a few hours. I dont ever remember this thing ever being full. I gave their service department a poor review so they called me back for a follow-up and said that Sears didnt make Kenmore anymore and I would have to contact the manufacturer. They said this was a Whirlpool unit, gave me their number. I called Whirlpool and they said they didnt make the unit either. Im going back to the store for a refund. No wonder Sears is struggling these days. What a nightmare!

Kenmore Refrigerators was on sale for a price I couldnt pass up. It had features I was looking for plus extra features that have been very helpful. It fits into the space I need it to and I can find things quickly. It keeps my food fresh and my vegetables crisp. However, theres a lot of sharp angles that make it hard to clean. Im often wishing I could move the shelves in and out easily. Its also hard to change the light bulb. Still, Im very happy. It has met my expectations and far exceeded them.

The real problem with refrigerators these days is the flimsy plastic that they are made of will break if you drop something or pull hard. The drawers are particularly fragile. Plus, in the last one I purchased, they took the egg container away.

Kenmore has definitely met my expectations. It was the existing refrigerator in the house when I purchased it. The product is sound, reliable, and built very well. It is more than 15 years old and still works great. But I would improve the interior spacing and use stronger plastic for the shelves. My refrigerator is white and I would offer other custom colors besides the standard Black, white, and stainless steel. But the Overall Performance and reliability is excellent and the size is perfect for the space.

After shopping around, I chose Kenmore, because it was offered at a good price, and was the size, and color that I wanted. I also liked it, because Kenmore has been a well known brand for a very long time. I like that it keeps beverages in the refrigerator very cold. Moreover, I like all the features, and aesthetic aspects of this refrigerator. I have been very happy with this refrigerator.

We purchased a new refrigerator from Sears not quite 4 yrs ago and weve had three service calls, today will be our FOURTH. It has gone from not freezing to freezing too much in the freezer, to not cooling in the fridge part. It is my belief that when a customer has that many problems with an appliance it should be considered a big lemon and should be replaced. I am 65 yrs old and never in my wildest dreams have I ever encountered so many problems. It has been a BIG headache from day one. I would not recommend Kenmore or Sears to anyone.

Its a good basic refrigerator. Nothing too fancy but good enough to deal with our everyday life. Not good if you have a large family or entertain a lot, as you will run out of room very fast. Its good enough for a family of 4. If you entertain a lot or have people who looove food, get a bigger fridge. Otherwise, this is good enough. Its plain so it wont stand out too much if you live in a crappy place. Can decorate it with magnets or drawings etc. Easy to clean the outside too. It was a good price I suppose. The fancier you go, the more broke you will be.

The refrigerator worked wonderfully, and lasted for years. It wasnt a top of the line model, but it had all the basic features we needed. Maintenance was low. We basically replaced the filters as required, and that was it.

A ton of room for freezer items. Really loved this as a member of a wholesale club and was able to save money buying items in bulk as freezing them. The size of both the top and bottom compartments are large. There is a lot of room in both for items of all sorts. Really helps to find things you need. The fridge fit in seamlessly with my newly renovated kitchen. It is sleek and modern, and I got a lot of compliments on it from people who saw it. Got a good deal on this product at Sears and the energy efficiency was very good. Saving money from being able to store a lot of things and see them all, not losing anything to lack of sight.

We purchased an LG refrigerator through Sears under Kenmore name with model number 795.71309.011. Fridge is under warranty for only one more week, and the top portion stopped working. Service man told us today that this is a problem with this models bottom drawer design, because you think it is closed but it is open enough to cause a frost problem that freezes the fan. It appears to be a similar problem to other LG refrigerators that have been recalled and the fan can be a fire hazard. Our model has not been recalled, but serviceman said we better get extended warranty because this is a lousy model. If he is telling the truth, it should have been recalled. If he is lying, its a Sears scam to scare us into buying expensive extended warranties. It also took the one week to come out and service, because they ordered a new PCB, but that wasnt even the problem.The service man said that this model has been out five years with this problem with no change in the design. There is too much play in the bottom drawer door. He changed the PCB anyway, because he said he changes 30-40 bad PCBs a year on this model. He also changed the sensor in the freezer drawer door that communicates to the PCB.I feel that in light of his information, Sears should give me the extended warranty for free. They also dented the door when it was originally delivered, and we could never get through on the 800 number to get compensation. And they count on us being too busy to follow through.

My Kenmore refrigerator freezes food and insulin even when its thermostat is set as 40 degrees. I have had several repair calls and appointments on this since it was bought in 2009 and this issue is still not resolved. The Customer Service department has told me that my warranty is invalid (which it is not). The customer service today went as far as hanging up on my husband while he was complaining about our refrigerator problem, freezing his insulin.

The Kenmore Refrigerator I owned had a nice sleek appearance for its time. It was also very easy to keep clean with just a sponge and soapy water. Childrens fingerprints came right off when you wiped them off with soap and water. The money we paid for at the time was well worth the service the appliance gave us during the lifetime of the appliance.

Its performance is great. Always the temp I want. The ice and water dispenser is great. My ice cream is always frozen, my milk is always cold. The ice dispenser give you crush ice and the water is always freeze cold. The size is more than I need. I never have it fully full. But it nice to be able to put a full watermelon in it. I have fitted at less 4 watermelon is this refrigerator before. I love how much space it had. You can put 4 gal of milk with watermelon in and still have room for more. Nice and silver which make it easy to see all the finger prints but they are easy wipe off. Its pretty big so make sure your space fits it. And not hard to clean at all. The price was great. If I didnt find this on sale or had a coupon I would have still got it. Its a steal for 800 bucks but make sure you shop around for lowest price.

It came with the first home we purchased and at that time, was considered a very good buy. At that time, my income was considerably less than now, and I went from a 2,600 sq foot home to a 9,000 sq foot home. It was a very good, starter unit, that was very reliable and quiet. Inside temperatures were easy to maintain. We were always jamming more and more in it to accommodate my family. However, it was not large enough for my growing family and for entertaining and could not make ice very fast and the freezer section was too small. It is a great unit for a couple or a family with 1 child.

My letter to sears customer service: I am writing to you today to express my sincere displeasure with the quality of customer service I have received from Sears. As you are probably aware, I purchased a new, top of the line Kenmore Elite refrigerator from my local Sears store in May of 2012. Since then, this refrigerator has stopped working twice. Both times I called Sears to repair it and both times I was told it needed a new PCB (part number EBR 73093602) and a new Duct assembly (part number ADJ 73252202). The first service call was covered by the manufacturers 1 year warranty, the more recent call was not.The technician who was sent on the most recent occasion mentioned to me that the problem I am experiencing is a known defect and has been assigned Service Bulletins. This was confirmed by the customer service representative that I spoke to on the phone. The CSR went on to give me the actual SB numbers of CREF20121236 and CREF20131371. Knowing now that this is a documented recurring problem, I had reasonably expected Sears to stand behind their product and cover the cost of the repair. Apparently I was wrong. After numerous phone calls and being transferred form one representative to another, the best resolution I was offered was a 10% discount off the cost of the repair. I find this totally unacceptable.My refrigerator has been inoperative for 2 weeks now, and will remain so for at least another week as that is when the parts arrive and the next service appointment is scheduled. Again, this is totally unacceptable. In the interim, Ive been forced to incur the additional expense of renting a refrigerator to avoid further loss of food due to spoilage. My experience with Sears up to this point has been extremely disappointing to put it mildly. The unwillingness to stand behind their products, especially knowing of the recurring defect, is deplorable. Going forward I plan to leave numerous online reviews, documenting the issue Ive mentioned above. I think most people expect more from Sears. Thank you for your time. It does what I need it to do. Big and spacious, fits all the food for my family needs. At times, it is hard to find space in the freezer due to the width of the freezer. It has plenty of room for everything. It keeps the shelf organized. Has storage space for deli cheese, fruits and vegetable. It is spacious enough for me to quickly find the things I want. It is easy to clean, and fingerprints are very easy to wipe off with a little soap and water will do the job just fine. The exterior match my kitchen decor. The price can be a little expensive without all the bells and whistles, but overall it is not a bad investment. Mine does its job just fine with the money I paid for.

Loved that it was frost free. I never had to defrost it, nice big crisper drawers, liked and the shelves. Plus, color never did colored over the years either. However, the humidity it was too high in the crisper. Veggies went droopy. Moreover, seemed like the fridge itself was too warm to the touch.

I was well acquainted with brand, and had used Kenmore washers in the past. l like my GE profile refrigerator better although l like the smooth surface of both the refrigerator and the handles for ease of cleaning. I like the large capacity refrigerator section and very large freezer section. Theres various options for ice and water. And nice, roomy bins and in-door egg holder. But it doesnt seem to cool as well as other brands I have used in the past and the model I have does not allow for versatility of adjusting shelves to different heights to accommodate tall bottles, etc. Will probably not purchase brand again.

I bought a new Kenmore fridge April 2015 that cost approx. $1600 (before tax), and in December 2018 it stopped working with no warning. I noticed freezer began to defrost and the fridge was not cooling. I called Sears repair and it took them 2 weeks to come out. They came today and the tech said it was the compressor and that it will be $980 to fix and there is really only a 70% chance that it will be fixed... It will never be the same and probably not worth fixing. Needless to say I am so upset, we lost all our food. It’s only been 3 years since I bought Kenmore fridge, I shouldnt be having this problem AT ALL!!! It shouldnt cost me anything. I got the same out of warranty spiel and customer service wasnt helpful at all. When I told him I shouldnt be having this problem at 3 years, he said, “Well that depends on HOW YOU HAVE BEEN USING IT...” I am near tears, I am so frustrated... I am going to throw a beautiful new fridge in the garbage. I cant believe this is happening to me. I had to buy a $100 fridge from Craigslist just to have food in the house for my kids. Kenmore isnt standing behind their products...what is being done??? I read all of the complaints here and I am SHOCKED there are so many people with the same compressor issues... Obviously at this point there should be a recall!

Fridge did the job that it was supposed to do. Our food was kept cold until we wanted to use it, many times for a week. All of our drinks were kept very cold. We had no leakage from under the fridge which was the main problem with our old one. This fridge blends in well with the decor of our kitchen. We also have a small freezer on the top which keeps everything frozen forever. Neither the fridge or freezer need to be cleaned out very often. I just like my fridge.

Never lets me down. Keeps everything, in all sections at just the right temperature. Well designed for convenience, easy to use, and very attractive. Well designed for effective use of space. I always have plenty of room, even after a stock-up shopping trip. Organized to make good use of adjustable shelves and bins. Goes very well with the design and aesthetics of my kitchen. Stands out as being high quality and enhances the overall appearance of the kitchen. Excellent value. We looked at numerous brands, and even those that were higher priced didnt compare in quality, durability, or appearance.

I was broke and needed a refrigerator. I found a used Kenmore refrigerator and was what I could get at the time. It was great and beautiful compared to not having one at all. I was just glad to get one. I liked that the refrigerator was spacious and cheap.

I like that there was a large produce drawer with plenty of space in it and the temperature control was nice especially when things at the top were freezing cause it was too cold in the refrigerator. But the ice machine would sometimes not work and stop making ice or the ice would all clump up and would not come out of the dispenser so a better ice machine would be good. Also, I thought the water went a little slow. But Kenmore has met our initial expectations and it is a trustworthy brand that I would buy again.

This refrigerator ran very efficiently and kept all my foods at the proper temperature. The freezer was reliable too. The self-defrost feature is a real work saver. The size of this refrigerator was perfect for a family of 2 and it probably would be fine for a slightly larger family of 4. The freezer is a bit small, but many households including mine, have a separate free standing freezer. This is a standard looking refrigerator, nothing fancy but worked well with my other appliances. It is easy to clean and comes in a few colors. The purchase of this refrigerator was money well spent. It served its purpose well and was reliable. No bells or whistles just a plain refrigerator that did the job.

There were only 2 people in the house at the time, but we often hosted big dinners and I made a lot of food, and thats when the fridge was too small. Not enough space for leftovers either. Freezer too small for our needs. Easy to keep clean, matched the decor, looked fine. We had a stainless steel fridge after this one and that was a lot harder to keep clean. This white color worked well and was a lot less maintenance. I didnt buy this fridge so Im not sure what the cost was but I imagine for price and performance, it is a good value. It does the job and fits (size and maintenance).

Ive been a faithful and happy Kenmore appliance buyer for decades. Based on that experience, I recently bought a Kenmore Elite $1200 refrigerator. It developed freezer issues a month after the warranty expired and when I googled the issue I found that this was a common and known problem for this whole line of refrigerators. I contacted two local appliance-repair people and they both told me too bad, Kenmore used to be the reliable source of appliances, up until two or three years ago when they stopped manufacturing them in the US and started buying from the lowest bidder and just rebranding the resulting junk. Im disappointed in yet one more company having sold out and let down the faithful customers who kept them in business all these years. I will never again buy a Kenmore appliance, unless its an older used one in good condition.

We currently own a Kenmore double door refrigerator with the under freezer pull out drawer. We have 5 children so we are always concerned about having enough space. Our Kenmore refrigerator is very spacious and gorgeous. We love it and would definitely recommend it.

We have a Kenmore fridge model number 106.59702993 serial number SK3956975 manufactured in 10/2000, last Thursday night we were awaken at 2 am by the smoke alarms. The fridge compressor electrical connector was smoking filling the room. We unplugged the fridge which hasn’t been plugged back in, we have found several videos online of this type of fridge fires. Yes the fridge is 17 years old, but we would never expect the fridge to catch on fire, but simply stop working.

The freezer work perfectly fine. Its a standard refrigerator and it performed as I expected a refrigerator freezer to. The refrigerator met and exceeded my expectations in terms of space. Now as far as the freezer is concerned it was able to hold much more than the regular items that I would keep stored in the freezer. Standard refrigerator on bottom with freezer on top standard regular white nothing fancy but nice and clean. Sturdy handles on both refrigerator and freezer. Pretty good value for the money. Thank goodness isnt overly price. While comparing prices to other brands the Kenmore was the best value for the particular model that I got.

Purchased a 27 cubic ft. refrigerator July 2013. Installed by Sears and now there is a rust spot and dampness on the enclosed metal back. Its starting to rot. (Discovered when we cleaned behind it) Clearly a manufacturing defect, not enough insulation in the machine and is unrepairable the Sears serviceman reported. Also I have no recourse, didnt buy the expensive post purchase warranty. Given the run around by the people in Customer Solutions. Never buy anything again from Sears. Their products are substandard. It is clearly a manufacturing defect.

We purchased a Kenmore French door refrigerator last year in October. After several attempts by two different techs to get our ice maker to work without freezing up, they sent us a replacement. Well, guess what? Same problem. I worked in the refrigeration business for over 35 years as a service tech and tried to explain to these two parts changers what the problem was... that there is a design problem with the area that the tubing comes into ice maker. It allowed ambient air into the freezer and cause not only the tube to freeze but frost to form at the back of the cabinet. Well, we had them out here 3 more times and at least the ice maker kept working. But the frost problem persisted and now there’s a water leak during the fill stage that locks the door in place CLOSED!! Guess what? Yep, it’s not under warranty. If I could Id load this piece of junk up in my truck and dump it in the headquarters front office. I was always a lifelong Sears customer..I wouldn’t get anything from them again if they gave it to me.

The fridge met my expectations. It was spacious and had a very large ice bin. The flaw to that was that it limited freezer space so we had to get a chest freezer for the rest of our food. I was still satisfied with it. It was a little spacey but we were able to get it in the spot where we wanted. If it were just a couple of centimeters thinner, I would have been more satisfied. I thought it was a little too expensive but we bought it anyway since it appeared to meet our expectations.

In September of 2012 we bought a new Kenmore refrigerator from Sears. In less than a year we noticed severe ice build up on the back panel of the bottom freezer. We contacted service who sent someone out. He did nothing other than tell us that maybe the door was left ajar, or that we basically open the refrigerator too much! Really?!! Its never been a problem with any past refrigerator. This was August and he said once the weather got less humid it would probably slowly disappear. Well we waited and it didnt and how convenient and cost saving for Sears....it went off warranty! Now its added a new problem to go along with the ice build up. A loud noise probably coming from the evaporator fan motor from what I have read online. Several weeks ago I pulled out the inner drawers and used a small hammer to chip away the ice build up myself. It stopped the noise for about 3 weeks, but now its started up again and there is ice showing up again on the back panel. I contact Sears service and was told basically tough luck since we didnt buy the extended warranty. But they offered to give us 10% off of a service call. Big deal!! They never fixed the problem to begin with when it was still under warranty. We refused to pay $479 for extended protection on a $1200 large ticket item like a fridge that should last for more than a year without issues! They obviously know what they are selling is junk. Im quite certain from what Ive been reading that this is a design flaw. It should be recalled. Im completely disgusted and will not deal with Sears again.

This is a great refrigerator and was a bargain at the price I paid. It is still running great after 5 years of nonstop usage and I hope it will continue to do so without any problems. This fridge can fit all of my needed items into it with no problem whatsoever, and there is still room inside for more items! I would recommend this to others that need a big fridge that is spacious. This fridge has a very clean and sleek design without all of the added extras that others may include. The appearance is very crisp and looks great in the modern kitchen/house. This fridge is great for the value. I have had it for almost 6 years and it is still running like I just bought it. I will forever recommend Kenmore products because they are worth the value.

Sears replaced the bad fan. Theres a new part with a heater to prevent future freeze ups.

The freezer worked very good, and so did the refrigerator, its been running for years. Id certainly buy another one. I could fit quite a bit, had lots of room, was well designed, and the performance is excellent. The size of the refrigerator was perfect for my family. It worked very well at holiday times when we had an awful lot of leftovers, I would like to say how satisfied I am with this refrigerator, its been working great for years. I love the style of the refrigerator, it was easy to match with all my decor. I certainly loved the color and design. I would recommend others to buy this refrigerator, my whole family is happy with it. The value was perfect, for what I paid for it, I certainly got my moneys worth. I would recommend anyone buying this refrigerator, the value and quality is 100%.

The fridge keeps everything cool and Ive never had problems with it at all. The insulation that it has is simply amazing. I would highly recommend this refrigerator to all consumers that are interested. The size is just perfect for your modern home kitchen. Its a great size but doesnt take up too much space at the same time. It wasnt a hassle for the delivery guys to put it in my kitchen. The overall appearance is stellar. As said before, it has a very modern and futuristic look to it. One could be proud of their whole kitchens appearance due to the fridge itself. The value is just a combination of the awesome size and quality. No problems, leakage, or power outages. Its the fridge that everyone wants and dreams of having.

The refrigerators size is a good because everything fits well in there with plenty of room for everything else. At some point I had a Kenmore fridge and was very pleased with it. It lasted a very long time and I never had any difficulty with it. It performed well in all facets of keeping my foods cold and never had any problems with too much frost in the freezer section.

This is a amazing fridge with lots of goals you could complete with this baby. Its amazing and I would always recommend this to anyone. The size is just right and it fits well into the space I put it into. It also leaves some room where I can put anything. It looks high-tech and of course it is. It gives your food a good chill and gives you nice, cold water for hot summer days. If you loves high quality, buy this. The money you put in it is a lot, but worth it. It has a lot of features that any other boring, white fridge would not have. So the more money, the more worth.

I purchased model 75523 bottom freezer Kenmore refrigerator on 11/26/2004. It has been serviced three times not including the recent service, which concluded the compressor was blown. Now what? Does Sears have any program set up for such failures of their appliances? I cant afford to replace this 7 year old fridge, what alternatives are available to consumers? Please let me no the next action in order to amend this problem. Thank You.

5 yr old Kenmore Elite fridge and freezer is not working. Ive been told multiple different answers all week long with multiple customer representatives. I have spent hours on phone calls with them and being transferred to multiple reps and departments trying to resolve the issue. This is beyond ridiculous as far as customer service. They are deplorable, simply deplorable, and no resolve.

I am very happy with this refrigerator because it runs quietly, keeps everything cold and requires very little maintenance. This refrigerator is 15 years old and has never been repaired. It works perfectly. I have never had a problem with it.

Happy with my Kenmore fridge for 7 years. No problem. Ice maker and freezer perfect. Plenty of room. Shelves and door space in my side by side unit. Quiet unit. Good looking unit. Easy to keep clean.

Overall this has been a good refrigerator. The ice maker works fast although the in door dispenser no longer works. The freezer could be bigger. Although this refrigerator is roomy, its hard to configure the shelving to hold tall items. Drawers have plenty of room for fruits and veggies. The freezer side has more than enough storage. Its sleek stainless steel. I am replacing my other appliances to match. Really good looking for an appliance. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to modernize their kitchen. This refrigerator came with our house but has been very reliable so no money has been spent on repairs. Its energy efficient and runs well. Im sure if I had to replace it that I would find one for a good price.

My Kenmore refrigerator lasted me a very long time. Had no problems with it. Didnt need a new one but I decided to upgrade to a newer one. Not because of problems but by my own choice.

Kenmore Elite Refrig made by LG - Ask first and STAY AWAY. Short and sweet, 1st refrig, 9 mos old, 5 service calls before declared dead (took 6 weeks). Replacement refrig, 6 months old, 2nd service call (2 weeks so far, new board, new interior panel, broke by serviceman). STAY AWAY FROM LG REFRIGERATORS. THEY SUCK. NO QUALITY CONTROL and they do not care! Buy the service package. You will need it!!!!!!!

The refrigerator was pretty big, with lot of space and room for every product I buy. It was a good fridge too... With different level of coldness. The price was good and for a good value.

Works great. Keeps food perfect! The freezer keeps everything ice cold. Love the space. Does not take up a bunch of unnecessary energy. Very economical and convenient. One of the best refrigerators I have ever had. Worked well with all my food being in there, a lot of room for my snacks as well for the people who eat them. I also put drinks in there. Very huge and fit everything in there like I even have room left over for more food for the next day I want to shop for food. Very big refrigerator. I like the stainless look of the refrigerator and was a very good fit with my other appliances. The size of my refrigerator fit perfect and fit into the space I had for it. It was not too overly large but inside space was very good to fit all food product of ours we buy into. The appearance was very pleasing to the eye and I got a lot of compliments from family and friends and relatives about it. The inside looked very nice and the drawers also were nice to the eye. I love Kenmore products. They are very high quality and a brand you can count on. My refrigerator works great, has the right temperatures and plenty of room. I would definitely buy another in the future.

It was spacious, kept everything fresh at the right temperature. It never ran out of ice and the shelves were big enough for watermelons and gallons of milk. Everything was able to be organized effectively. The freezer could have been bigger but I love frozen pizza. It was very sleek and shiny. It definitely had a modern feel to it and I enjoyed the sleek design. It is the closest thing to a fridge from the future. The fridge is a very good value. For the type of refrigerator you get, it is very cheap. The materials it is made of feel expensive. I also couldnt find a better fridge for the price.

The refrigerator kept most of the food cold, however it had poor vegetable humidity control. The meat container sections were well-spaced but I prefer have a single compartment instead of using a multi-spaced compartment area to store your rock-hard meats. The refrigerator was well-spaced and it had decent legroom for standing inside of it, however when it comes to freezer room, there was not enough space. Yes it was overall not great.

It works great. It keeps my food really cold and the freezer freezes really well. I love the ice maker and the water parts as well. The filter lasts really long. I have moved it twice and had no problems. Like I previously stated the refrigerator part is a good size. I just wish the freezer was a bit bigger. I have a large family and buy groceries in bulk and have to really make them fit in the freezer. I love the stainless steel. It is very shiny and matches my other stainless steel appliances and very easy to clean. I would have to say it stands out among my other appliances. I like the inside as well. I like the fact that you can adjust the shelves to your liking. I would have to say the value was very good. I caught it during a promotion so that helped out a lot. It was also delivered to my home free so that was a big plus.

The lights in the refrigerator compartment would not shut off and it is starting to overheat and smell like burning plastic or wires. I placed a call to Sears for service and was told initially that the issue would not be covered. I explained to the representative that this could have been a serious problem resulting in property loss or death if a fire resulted. I told them that I had noticed many other complaints posted on the Internet referring to the same issue.I asked to be transferred to the recall department and spoke with a lady, who explained to me, after placing my call on a brief hold, that there was, in fact, a recall (Model: SF-46-515-R5). The telephone number I had called was 1-800-469-4663. I was told that it was a recall from LG. Apparently, they had made the refrigerator for Sears Kenmore Brand. The parts are on back order and when they are shipped, I will be notified and the service will be done free of charge.

The performance on it is beyond excellent on it. Ive never had issues with it and I have had it quite awhile. At first I was sketched about it but Im glad I listened to my daughter and bought it. The size is very very very very spacious. I love this fridge so much, it is so so so cool. In the future I am in hopes that I can buy another one or convince someone to buy one just like mine. The appearance looks so good I love love love love love it. I bought this product awhile back and in my opinion it still looks brand new. For the price I myself paid the value is excellent. The value is very well kept up and whoever made this product really put their heart into it.

I had one that got hit by lightning and loved it. It ran well and kept everything very cold. I also have a Kenmore stand up freezer that I have had for years and love it. I had to get something at a scratch and dent after lightning strike as needed right away and had limited funds. Will go back to Kenmore just as soon as I upgrade from this one.

I bought our 1st kenmore fridge about 15 years ago. It served us very well. Never had a problem with it until about three years ago the old girl just finally gave up. We had such good luck with that one we went out, got a new one. I would highly recommend Kenmore appliances.

I purchased a refrigerator from Sears in 2013, everything seemed fine until the we noticed that the ice maker was beginning to jam regularly. I finally called to get a repair technician out to address the issue. We were still covered under our warranty so there were not costs incurred. Upon the completion of the repair I asked the technician what would happen if the problem persists. I know that our warranty would soon be expiring and was unsure if a renewal would be necessary. The technician informed me that if the same problem persists that Sears would cover the re-repair for one year. Seeing that we didnt have any other issues with the refrigerator aside from the ice maker we decided not to extend our warranty. Five months later the same problem with the ice maker has returned. I called in this morning to schedule a technician to visit and was told that it would not be a covered service. Although I was told by the visiting technician that the repair was covered for a year, a Sears rep told me that it was only covered for 90 days.Needless to say I am very disappointed with this. The issue that we are having is the same issue that was supposedly fixed. If the problem persists, then the problem was clearly not fixed, and a re-repair should be covered. I have all Kenmore appliances throughout my home and have been very pleased with their quality and performance. Its disappointing to know that a loyal customer can only depend on a 90-day repair service when we have willingly paid thousands in purchases and warranties over the years. Its disappointing to know that Sears does not support their repairs and will not offer a remedy for a repair that has not properly addressed. They dont trust their technicians enough to warranty their repair work, nor do they stand behind their loyal customers. Very, very disappointed. The refrigerator is not even 2 years old and our ice maker no longer functions.

Sometimes the water line will freeze where the ice comes out. Also sometimes it gets too cold and freeze cold and water but other than that its been really great and does what it needs to do. The size of the freezer is too small. Needs to be bigger than other size. Has great shelves and plenty of room for all the stuff I need to keep cold like water soda and foods. I have a black one and the appearance of it is fine. It goes well with everything that I have in my kitchen. I have all matching stuff in there because I am ocd. I am pretty happy with the perceived value of the refrigerator that I have in my house. I am on a budget so price was a big factor but also I have a nice size family so I needed one that was at least middle size.

I bought Kenmore Refrigerator, 795692902, on May 2012. The warranty elapsed six months ago. The freezer works fine but the Refrigerator below is cool. I called a repair person. He diagnosed the problem as being a computer board for the Refrigerator is bad. He said the Refrigerator is too new to have that kind of problem.. I would not buy any Kenmore product again.

I chose this Kenmore refrigerator when my 4 year old LG refrigerator was unrepairable due to a $40 part and the Sears warranty paid me out to get a new refrigerator. This refrigerator has met my expectations. I like the bright LED lights. They make everything easy to see and it really brighten up the whole refrigerator. The air filter is really good at keeping food smells out and keeping it smelling fresh. The French doors are great that you can open the two doors and you can see everything. The large bottom freezer is nice with two drawers on the top which is great at keeping things organized. The deli drawer is great as well that you can see what deli meats and cheese you have. However, I dislike where the water filter is placed. It takes up room on the top shelf, it would be better if it was placed in another spot. The shelves that slide in to make room for taller items are really useless. When you slide the one shelf in you are unable to get to the back of 2 shelfs without removing the tall items. The ice maker because it is in the door is small and the ice gets stuck and you have to break it up so you can get it out of the door.

The refrigerator runs smoothly. The space available in the freezer was great for a family of 4. The refrigerator portion was spacious and easily configured. I was able to store my food and beverages in such a way to always be able to find what I needed. The ease of cleaning and maintain the inside and out was easy and quick. This refrigerator was a basic model and we chose it for that reason. It blended into the space to let the special features of our kitchen shine. After looking at many different refrigerators and comparing prices, reliability, and availability, we found this refrigerator to be the best for our budget.

The Kenmore refrigerator was purchased because it was the best price among those that I looked at. It has lived up to my expectations as an extra backup refrigerator. We didnt want to spend an exorbitant amount on a extra refrigerator that would be out of sight in our garage. The store we purchased it from was running specials on several brands and the Kenmore seemed to be the best value at the best price. The refrigerator had what we needed to keep our overflow food and beverages cold as well as a little extra storage space for frozen items in the freezer section on top. It had a good bit of space for a standard refrigerator. However, the inside of the refrigerator sometimes took some clever maneuvering when we had large items we needed to put in it or more than the usual amount of food/beverages (when we were preparing for a holiday or entertaining). I wish the compartments and drawers in that refrigerator were configured a little more flexibly and usefully.

Ive owned a Kenmore refrigerator in my new apartment that I recently moved into. The fridge is nice, nothing has gone wrong with it yet. The freezer keeps all of the items nice and cold and I havent had any sign of freezer burn on anything. The fridge is nice, keeps everything fresh and has no smells like my old fridge. Its white in color, which looks great and also has a water and ice spout on the front, which is great for grabbing an easy glass of ice water. Very nice, and works great!

The door on the refrigerator wont completely close - you need to push it hard to close and in most cases you think it is closed but all the cold air leaks out because it isnt completely closed.

I initially chose to purchase Kenmore over other refrigerator brands mainly due to the price. It was on sale and it had all the features that I wanted like filtered ice maker and a freezer. It keeps food cold. It also has a vegetable crisper drawer with humidity controls. I had a fridge once that kept coming open because the magnet strip was not good. I had to throw food away which was not good. But my current fridge has an alarm that goes off if the door is left open. It also has an ice plus feature that makes more ice when needed.

They never gave me any problems. Never understood some specifications but didnt really need to. Flawless. I would recommend this to everyone. The size could have been better. Some things dont fit inside the freezer area. Otherwise it is an excellent decision. Slick and incredible. Fits perfectly with the kitchen. It was improbable for me to find something bad about the entire look. Simplistic and useful. Great Buy. VALUE is eccentric. It is incredible how good this Refrigerator - it is one of the best products I have purchased in the last 10 years.

It was very dependable. When I had it serviced they did a good job. I had the refrigerator for 15 years. We replaced when we remodeled the kitchen. We replaced all our appliances with another brand. The refrigerator is still running in our basement.

It is a double door refrigerator and has a ice maker in one of the door of the refrigerator that is black. We paid fifteen hundred for our refrigerator two years ago and it is well worth its value. Got it at Lowes and they delivered it and put it in for us.

Kenmore has always been a great product with great design. Very dependable and their repair service was superior. Sad how things have changed. Im in the market for a new refrigerator as my Kenmore is almost 20 years old but still works very well!!

We purchased a French door fridge from Sears in 2013. The receipt is barely readable now. Starting a year ago the bottom freezer began filling up like an ice rink. Then the defroster comes on and its like a waterfall all over the floor. My husband is nearly 80, we are on a fixed income and I dont know who to turn to and try get this resolved. It seems like there are a lot of complaints about Sears repair people on here. I am so disappointed in this product. We always trusted Sears but we will think twice before purchasing an appliance there again.

I dont have a Kenmore refrigerator at this time, but I had one a few years back. It held up well, and was comparable to any Frigidaire, or other refrigerator I have had over the years.
