It runs great, smoothly and quietly. The exterior is easy to clean and manage (it doesnt show fingerprints or spots as much as other stainless steel products) and the interior is durable and functional. I love this refrigerators size. It fits all of our frozen and fresh items perfectly. The shelves are easy adjustable and the baskets make for easy access. The exterior is a great color and easy to keep spotless. It easy to keep fingerprints at bay and to keep looking fresh and new. Kenmore is a great name for appliances and this refrigerator keeps up to that name and promise. For the price this is an outstanding fridge.

The refrigerator was pretty big, with lot of space and room for every product I buy. It was a good fridge too... With different level of coldness. The price was good and for a good value.

The fridge does well. Very pleased with purchase. No issues to date. Energy efficient. Best available product for the price. The size is great. Can fit all of the food that we purchase in the fridge. Plenty of room in the freezer for all of our needed goods. Great outward appearance. Looks great in the kitchen. Fits in. Cost was in the ballpark for what our family needed. On sale. Great value for the money. Wife is happy with it.

We purchased a Kenmore side-by-side refrigerator with the ice maker and water dispenser in the door and freezer on bottom in 2006. Within less than a year, we had to have the ice maker fixed. A year after that, we had the same problem--we had to pay for it then. After spending $2200+ for the refrigerator, you should not have to buy an extended warranty. The water filter for the refrigerator costs $50 and I was told the ice maker wont work unless its been replaced. Now the whole thing may have burned up had my husband not been home. The light had not been turning off after the door closed (we had never changed the original bulbs), which caused the plastic around the lights to melt an bubbled the plastic on the refrigerator above it.

Its ok. Not too flashy just plain white. It works for me and my family at the moment. There are multiple shelves in to allow me to separate the food and to individualize the food. I can fit most of the food but it can be a little bit bigger but I know you get what you pay for and if I wanted a bigger fridge I would have to increase my money. I was looking for something reliable but cheap because my previous fridge I went out but it works for me. Trimming is coming off after a few years and its not staying cold, but I know I didnt pay that much for it still suppose to last for a period of time.

They guy at the store recommended Kenmore Refrigerators. I liked it and it was the right size. It was in my budget and I’m very pleased with it. It was in stock and they were able to bring and put it in right away. It has worked great. It keeps food just the right temp and food always stays fresh. Shelves are sized nicely and it is not noisy which I like. But why do all appliances look the same? I like something different and I wish they came in different colors, like red. And I wish the ice cubes were a different shape. The freezer seems small to me and should be bigger as well.

We bought a Kenmore Elite Refrigerator with French doors about 5 years ago because we trusted the Sears Kenmore name brand. It was almost $3,000 retail. The ice maker and temperature controls went out the very first year. A Sears vendor came out and replaced the ice maker after a few weeks. Stated its an LG first year not Whirlpool. LG brand refrigerators are not good quality and parts take forever. In fact all service vendors have commented this brand is not good and takes forever for parts.Over the past 5 years have had 4 ice makers (including another one tomorrow), 2 control motherboards, temperature sensors for both refrigerator and freezer, heating element and a host of other issues. These units are the worst ever and if we knew it was made by LG - would not have bought it. Lost several hundreds of dollars in food. Sears needs to recall these units and until then I am boycotting them.

I have had this refrigerator several years. It keeps everything cold, it defrosts itself, and is easy to clean. Side by side gives more room for fridge and freezer, and the water it supplies is cold and good tasting. Ive never had any issues with it in the 10 years Ive had it. Kenmore is my go to brand because it represents quality across the board. There is so much storage space, side by side is so much better than freezer top refrigerators. It has a lot of room to store just about anything on its shelves, in the freezer as well as the refrigerator. My Kenmore refrigerator is a side by side, and has a steel finish that is so easy to keep clean. There is a water and ice machine on the outside of the freezer section, making it accessible for a healthy glass of cold water. This Kenmore side by side refrigerator is well worth the amount I paid for it, and I have not needed repairs since I bought 10 years ago. To me, the Kenmore brand is synonymous with quality.

I like the Kenmore brand and have other appliances so all of them match. The fridges stainless steel makes it look sleek and clean. It goes well with all my other appliances. Its quiet and my children are able to open it with ease and thats a big help. Also, it was a really good deal and I have a card to Best Buy so that helped with making smaller payments instead of one big payment at once. However I dont like that Its not magnetic and I cant put up pics or things my kids made up on the fridge. Its also very annoying to clean and fingerprints get all over. You can wipe it down as much as you want but the lines are going to show and next time someone opens the fridge the prints are there.

Its a great refrigerator for its price. Works to keep everything just the right temperature. I have had the same fridge now for over 7 years and have had no problems. Next time I get another. This fridge can hold enough food for a family of 5 for at least a whole month. Next time I get a fridge though, Im going to get a side by side because its so hard to fit a lot of food in that top freezer part unfortunately. Its very plain but it does its job. Just add a few magnets to it though and bring it back to life. Other than appearance, its an awesome fridge. This fridge is a great value for its money. I didnt have to spend a lot of money at all and this fridge has lasted a little over seven years.

Kenmore was a brand that I like and was at a convenient location that was easy to load and bring to my house. I have purchased before that I liked the style and type of. The refrigerator style was what I wanted, size was what would fit and the color fit my kitchen. However, the Price I paid for the unit was more than what the other brands of similar type were priced at. I also wish it had some other features in it. Other than that, was good purchase.

It has been working great for over 10 years! It has enough room for all the food and can move shelves when needed! I drink a lot of water and the ice machine has no problem keeping up with me and my family! My past machine couldnt and the water would freeze!

I bought our 1st kenmore fridge about 15 years ago. It served us very well. Never had a problem with it until about three years ago the old girl just finally gave up. We had such good luck with that one we went out, got a new one. I would highly recommend Kenmore appliances.

I purchased model 75523 bottom freezer Kenmore refrigerator on 11/26/2004. It has been serviced three times not including the recent service, which concluded the compressor was blown. Now what? Does Sears have any program set up for such failures of their appliances? I cant afford to replace this 7 year old fridge, what alternatives are available to consumers? Please let me no the next action in order to amend this problem. Thank You.

It does what you hope for from a refrigerator. I have yet to require any service for it. Maintains the temperature on both the freezer and fridge side with no typical fluctuations or opening to be surprised by suddenly freezer burnt items. A very reliable appliance. Fits in any standard space in I would assume most kitchens. No difficulty in installing and no need to compensate for its size in order to install. Was easily maneuvered with a dolly and I was able to do the entire install on my own. My model is black and I prefer that overall as it doesnt throw off most if not all kitchens decor for those who enjoy a flow to their rooms. I find that black melds well with even the most diverse of kitchen designs and cabinetry. As Ive said before this model is incredibly affordable and does all the basic things you need it to do. Reliable and smoothly built, this is a treat. Well rounded item by all definitions.

Model 18 cu ft top freezer 79568039 - What idiot designs a fridge with an egg shelf that is 2 INCHES SHORTER than a standard carton of eggs. We have to cut off the last 2 inches of the carton and put the extra 2 eggs in a bowl on a shelf in the fridge in order to use the egg shelf. Another thing... the two handles on the freezer and lower door have right angles on the corners (very sharp) which are constantly crashing against your elbow when reaching in or out of the fridge. Could have been solved by putting a radius on the handles, but then it wouldnt be as aesthetically pleasing. Dont you people ever have a focus group of people you give these products to, to be able to actually USE them and discover these problems, before spending tons of money to bring them to market???

We purchased a Kenmore Fridge french door with bottom freezer in 2010, Model # 795.78406.804, Serial # 0004MRHR19777, Mfg. Date 2010.04. To date, we have had 5 occurrences of the fridge portion turning off. No light, no error code, no cooling, just shut off. The first event happened sometime during the spring of 2011 while we were away from home. Lost complete contents of the fridge. Called Sears repair (note: no longer under warranty) and had the controller/computer board replaced at $350 plus labor. Thankfully bought extended service plan because 8 months later the same thing happened..... again replaced same board. This failure action continued a couple of times over the next few months and we were told by service to unplug the unit for about 5 minutes and it would restart. It did!!! Service person (a contractor for Sears) told us he has serviced other units with the same issue and if the issue is not with a defective component, the unplug/replug procedure works. Well it just happened again and the unplug/replug procedure worked again. Low and behold, my wife found out from the manual that the unit should be shut off if you are away from home for more than about a week. Makes us wonder if this failure mode is known by the manufacturer and is programmed into the controller. Kind of an unusual way to go Green, dont you think. Will likely scrap the unit after I carefully research other brands. I say scrap because I do not want to burden anyone else with the unit by donating to charity.

Worked for a very long time. Only reason I got a new was because we moved and it was too small. We got another one just like it except bigger. It was fine for a couple. Once we had our children we needed a bigger one. We love our fridge and would never want to even try another brand. Why fix whats not broke. Very stylish. They gave us plenty of colors to choose from so you can find any color to match your kitchen. I love the stainless steel. It looks sleek and professional. You get what you pay for. Some can be a little bit pricey but in the long run it is definitely worth it. I am very picky on what I pay for so Im glad I found one worth the money.

The performance of this refrigerator is outstanding. Its the best fridge out there, in my opinion. I really recommend you to get this. Just make sure you get the right one! The size of my refrigerator is crazy. There is so much storage. The size blew me away the first time I saw it. Just be careful now it looks a lot bigger than it shows in its picture, so dont be fooled thinking its small. The appearance of my refrigerator is great! Its so shiny you can see your own reflection. The perceived value is outstanding. The price is just right and the overall quality is 100%. This is my opinion by the way so dont go off what I say about the value, I hope I had great advice.

Excellent performance. Lots of room to store leftovers and necessary products like gallon of milk, juices etc. Cooling effectively even when the door has been opened frequently. Love the easy access to be able to get the ice, either crushed or cubed choices. Or cold water option as well. The price of this model is in comparison to other models and brands of its kind. This model is efficient in its performance and does all that is needed in a refrigerator. It is beautiful to look at and very easy to access the items that are stored into it.

I purchased a Kenmore Elite Refrigerator 18 months ago based on Kenmores past history of consumer confidence and quality products. When one spends over $2000 on a refrigerator, the fair and reasonable expectation would be that the refrigerator would last more than 18 months. The refrigerator has already failed after 18 months of use and I am being told that they need to send a service tech to diagnosis. The refrigerator has a new technology with WiFi so I was informed from the get go they could diagnose the problem from remote. When called, they said they could not do that and would have to send a repair technician. I asked them to waive the fee since I had already paid for WiFi service and was told flatly no after at least 8 phone calls to different people in different departments. Not only do they have to send a tech to now diagnose the problem and I pay for the service call, the motor or whatever is no longer covered because its past a year old, and they will only cover the compressor. I am disgusted with the quality of this Kenmore product and will be writing a letter to corporate. Their solution is for me to purchase an extended warranty at $40 per month. Thats $600 per year. Its become crystal clear to me why the once venerable Sears and Roebuck Company is closing stores all around the nation and is rumored to be on the verge of bankruptcy.

It is reliable on keeping your cold stuff cold and your frozen stuff frozen and it has good storage space to organize your frozen and or refrigerated items in. The size is adequate to fit all your different frozen and refrigerated items in without taking up too much of your kitchen space. It has two different drawer to separate your fruits and vegetables in as well as two more shelves to put all the rest of your refrigerated items on. Its simple design makes it really easy to fit into any kitchen space without looking tacky. This is really a great refrigerator for its value. Its affordable. Its reliable without costing you an arm and a leg.

My husband and I bought our Kenmore two door freezer drawer bottom stainless Steel refrigerator at Sears. Within a month we had a small rust spot in one of the doors. Soon after the plastic drawers and other pieces within the refrigerator began to break - this is just my husband and I using it. No children and no abuse. Kenmore used to be a good quality name but unfortunately it is now made with cheap thin plastic parts and alright it was their higher end model. It is falling apart! We feel like we were robbed. We will never buy another Kenmore product!

With my Kenmore I enjoy the space provided for storing enough food for myself for a month or even a month and a half, but it also ensures my food is kept perfectly chilled or the freezer part ensures that my meats and frozen foods stay cold and frozen. Within minutes of putting a food item into the fridge or freezer and the Kenmore appliance cools the item easily. I would recommend this appliance brand because the one I have also has been with me for a very long time and still looks to be with me for years to come.

Its a good basic refrigerator. Nothing too fancy but good enough to deal with our everyday life. Not good if you have a large family or entertain a lot, as you will run out of room very fast. Its good enough for a family of 4. If you entertain a lot or have people who looove food, get a bigger fridge. Otherwise, this is good enough. Its plain so it wont stand out too much if you live in a crappy place. Can decorate it with magnets or drawings etc. Easy to clean the outside too. It was a good price I suppose. The fancier you go, the more broke you will be.

The freezer part sometimes gets too cold. My food sometimes freezes in the refrigerator part and that is frustrating at times. The size is pretty ok but can be bigger. Usually need more space to put food at times. Appearance is ok but it could be better.

When I had some extra money last year, I bought a new refrigerator as I thought the Kenmore was getting old and would quit working soon. I put the new one upstairs and the Kenmore downstairs. I like the Kenmore much better, its still running and may switch them out again.

US government allow American consumers to continually get ripped off by manufactures and retailers. LG/Samsung newer model refrigerators have 220v compressors which does not work well with US circuit standards. Repair people state compressors have known defect. Its not a defect. Those 220v compressors are intended to work for a certain duration then burn out. If you replace one then sooner or later you will replace another. Purchase new Kenmore refrigerator from Sears 2017/2018. Stopped working Sept. 2021. Refrigerator labeled as Kenmore but model number is LG (795.72493.611). Try buying replacement parts using model no. you will never receive correct part unless you dismantle original and locate exact part number. This has been a nightmare. One repairperson refused to try and repair. We found one who educated us that replacing 220v compressor with 150v compressor would fix the problem. Additionally, he indicated 150v compressor will last for years as oppose to replacing with another 220v that would out again in about 2/3 years. The government/retailers and manufacturers allow consumers to continuously be ripped off. Its called capitalism. Also switching tag from LG to Kenmore should be illegal similar to switching car VIN. There should be huge price paid by manufacturers and retailers with regards to selling products with known issues. LG not found in company list. Why?

The refrigerator is big enough to store and freeze lots of food and makes ice also. I can find what I am looking for with ease. The drawers hold a good amount of food that stays fresh for a very long time. I freeze a lot of food that’s fresh for the winter months and I can find what I need, when I need it. We usually have a good bit of leftovers and I am confident that they stay fresh for at least a couple of weeks. I would highly recommend a Kenmore due to the ease and reliability of the refrigerator. The ice maker is fabulous because my family loves ice with most of the beverages they consume.

I love the fridge. I switched from Frigidaire. It keep food fresh longer... Ice tray overflows quickly. I have to remember to cut it off occasionally. Great size. Enough space on both side. Love the number of drawers... enough shelves. Good door space for condiments. Easy to open. It has a nice sleek appearance. I love the chrome color. The handles arent bulky. Its a perfect height and size for my kitchen and the space allowed for a fridge. It was purchased in a bundle deal with other appliances. The price was right about where it should be for the fridge. I havent had any problems with it that cost me more money so I would have to say its a good value.

Mine lasted over 10 years. Never serviced, had ice maker and in door water. If you are buying a fridge you need to check Sears. It is not as popular as it was a few years ago but they do and always have made great appliances. The refrigerator has adjustable shelves and 3 drawers. Some of the shelves could slide out and repositioned. The freezer side held all I needed it to hold and the ice maker did not take up too much room. Ours was in between 2 walls, so it looked built in. Had smooth finish and easy to clean... was on rollers and it could be pulled out easily. You get what you pay for and the price was less expensive than other makes and models. It gave great service with no issues for the years we had it. I would say it is a great value.

I like my Kenmore refrigerator - works perfectly, energy efficient. I love the water filter - very spacious. The freezer side it very large and has a lot of space. I like the light that indicates when to change the filter. I love that you can control the temperature.

I was well acquainted with brand, and had used Kenmore washers in the past. l like my GE profile refrigerator better although l like the smooth surface of both the refrigerator and the handles for ease of cleaning. I like the large capacity refrigerator section and very large freezer section. Theres various options for ice and water. And nice, roomy bins and in-door egg holder. But it doesnt seem to cool as well as other brands I have used in the past and the model I have does not allow for versatility of adjusting shelves to different heights to accommodate tall bottles, etc. Will probably not purchase brand again.

I purchased a Kenmore Elite Refrigerator Model Number 795.5107. Weve had the refrigerator replaced 3 times, and each time, we have the same indentations on the freezer side door panel. The refrigerator is stainless steel. The first time we had it delivered, we thought the delivery crew had damaged it. Upon receiving the second refrigerator, we saw the same indentations on the door panel. Third time is not a charm. We still have the same refrigerator. Sears has only offered to send me another one. Ive asked that they inform the manufacturer that they are producing damaged panels and they have yet to remedy the problem. I paid good money for a damaged refrigerator.

I love my Kenmore refrigerator because I feel confident to leave all of my food and I love how save the electricity is. I feel lucky got this excellence and good quality. The price was very right. I caught a nice sale. I love the look of the fridge. It look small but on the inside was huge. And it was great of the size of our apartment. It did us justice. We also had a 3rd floor apartment and a long stairwell so being able to fit inside that way was the key to my fridge purchase. And then the fact that the inside was large to fit a lot of food was even better. I only replaced the light inside about once, besides that it function quite well. I was overall pleased and if I had the same choices I would choose the same items again.

This is a great product. I have never had any problems with any Kenmore refrigerator. It keeps all of your items nice and cold. Its quiet while running. Easy to open and shut doors. I love a Kenmore refrigerator.

I purchased a Kenmore refrigerator in 2008. A couple of weeks ago, I noticed that the ice was taking days to freeze and the ice cream was defrosting. I called service and was told that my 1-year warranty had expired and I had two options: purchase an extended 1-yr warranty for $298.00 and the repair would be free, or call service which would cost $109 to diagnose the problem and approx $300+ to repair (based loosely on the symptoms I described).Neither of these options is acceptable for the following reasons: 1. I purchased this refrigerator for about $490. 2. If the average lifespan of a refrigerator is 15-18 years, my EXPECTATION is that this unit will last the average lifetime without major repairs. Had Sears advertised that this unit may only last 4 years before needing major repair, of course I would not have bought it. 3. The estimated cost for repairing this appliance is between 60% and 100% of the purchase price. This is ridiculous. Why would I have bought a unit that would need this type of repair after 4 years.I contacted Sears and they offered me 15% off repair or 15% off the purchase of a new refrigerator. Neither of these options are acceptable. The unit is obviously defective so why would I invest that kind of money in repairing it. If this is the level of confidence they have in their own product, why should I buy another Kenmore refrigerator. Right now, I am out of $500 because I have to purchase another refrigerator, and Sears has basically benefited by selling a full-priced defective product.

Keeps food cold without freezing. Freezer works perfectly. Ice and water dispenser work nicely. Absolutely love the finish. Awesome machine. This refrigerator has quite a lot of space. Enough space to fit food and condiments for a large family. The ice capacity is sufficient for a family gathering. The finish is nice and does not mark. Easy to keep clean and maintain a nice finish. The shine is fabulous. Fits nicely with my other products. The price of this refrigerator compared to others Ive seen is comparable and the performance you receive is exceptional. Most people would be quite happy with this product.

The refrigerator came with the home I bought. It was reliable and lasted a long time but wish it had a better defrosting of the freezer. Other than that I experienced no mechanical breakdowns in many years.

Large freezer, able to fit several weeks of food, helpful for large families. Indoor ice maker and water, extremely nice feature. City water was filtered without an extra system being installed. And no extra freezer space taken up by trays. Large deep freezer drawers for extra storage. Adjustable containers in door made it easier for more storage in the main fridge. Allowing for bulky items such as milk or pitchers to be stored in the doors. Cleaning was simple, with parts all being removable. Parts dismantled and reassembled easily. Large and bulky making delivery difficult. However, replacement parts were expensive. Also, no color choices other than white were available.

I have owned other appliances from other companies and would have issues after just a few months of owning the product. The biggest issue with other appliances that we have had is that it will stop cooling and our food would be ruined. As a mother of twins and a teenage daughter, this is a really big deal for us. We switched and since then, its been great. I dont have to worry about coming home to find that everything is ruined.We could use a bigger fridge since we are a large family but I think as long as we dont have to worry about our food being ruined, we are perfectly content. We have the typical type fridge. Freezer on top and fridge on the bottom... very similar to the fridges that our parents used as we were growing up just newer. We are not rich at all. We have twins and teens and that is enough to break the bank. We were very limited on how much we could spend on appliances. Considering we have gotten ours at a very affordable price and no issues, its priceless.

The freezer works very well - foods and ice cream doesnt thaw. The vegetable drawers keep fresh fruits and vegetables fresh for a week or longer. I like the size. My household size is small, and we do not require as much space as a larger family would need. This size might not work well for a larger household. I like the color - its neutral enough to fit into the decor of my kitchen if I decide to redecorate or repaint the room. Ive repainted the room twice since purchasing the refrigerator, and I havent needed to take the color of the appliance into consideration when choosing new colors. The refrigerator has worked well over the eleven years Ive owned it. It hasnt needed any repairs as of now. I feel Ive received a quality product at a reasonable price.

When we moved into our new home in the Spring of 2016, we decided to keep the Kenmore refrigerator as it was less than 2 years old. Mistake! In the 18 months since weve replaced the icemaker valves 6 times (1 lower valve, 3 upper valves and 2 replacements of upper valves that failed--again--while the repair was still under warranty). This product is manufactured by LG. WAY too much aggravation for a 2 year old fridge. Safe to say that when we replace it, we will not consider Kenmore OR LG product lines.

Never had any problems. Had lots of space, kept everything cold, didnt freeze vegetables and cheese, self defrosted freezer, was quiet, never runs loudly, keeps frozen food frozen, not frostbitten.

Kenmore has always produced great products. If you were on a budget, this is the way to go. Very nice fridge for the price. The interior of the refrigerator is very spacious and drawer size was excellent. The cooling was very good and it kept a constant temperature, in the refrigerator and freezer. My personal choice for a freezer would be on the bottom. But the top freezer worked fine. It is just a matter of taste. But didn’t have an ice maker. My current washer and fryer are Kenmore too, and I’m very happy with them.

The refrigerator is a very high quality product and its very useful as well. I really enjoyed my product and still using it. The size is very big and room and its enough space to put everything you need to put in it and I will buy it again. I will also recommend this to anyone that is willing to buy one. Very nice looking and very beautiful color as well. I would let this be my first choice before I look for anything else and just bought my mom one. It has a very great value to it and I also believe that the values never goes down on this product. Anyone will love it and I will always own this product as well.

Our Kenmore Refrigerator has lots of space for food and compartments for different genres of food and keeps everything fresh and opened at a good length externally but also internally. It is a good size for my kitchen and was perfectly placed in a good spot and fit well. It is a great match for the colors in kitchen. Fridges usually dont come in that many colors but while white was not my favorite selection it was the cheaper choice. White is sort of dated and tends to look a little cheaper than a silver or black but besides that it matched everything in kitchen and went well with vibe for most part. I never had a problem with the fridge section or freezer section to the point where I had to call service or return it. It worked well. I think I got what I paid for.

Kenmore is a great product and their products last a long time without having to call and ask for repair services. They are always dependable, and I have owned many of them in the past. Most definitely they live up to my expectations and have for many years. My refrigerator has side by side doors, freezer on top, ice maker. I like the ice maker which produces crushed ice as well as the cubed. I like its color and dependability. The fridge does not thaw during times when the electric goes out. I never have to worry about spoilage with a Kenmore and the storage capacity is wonderful.

I bought Kenmore refrigerator in July 2018, then the compressor was down in January 2021. Searss technician told me that Kenmore will charge me over $800 for repairing with compressor replacement, and customer service even more pissed me off!!! Different representative are saying all different story!!!! I paid $1700 brand new Kenmore Refrigerator but works only 2 years, then will pay another $800 labor cost to repair and extended warranty only 6 month... Pls remember dont buy Kenmore Refrigerator, the quality is sucks, and customer service is sucks even much more.

I have went through three lousy Kenmore refrigerators in the past 10 years. Size was one of the features that was ok but could be better for the prices for all three refrigerators. It looked good, but the appearance was average. The appearance held up but nothing else about these 3 refrigerators did. Very disappointed that they do not function nor cool well. What a joke. I will never buy another Kenmore Refrigerator. Poor value. It needs to last longer than any of them did.

They never gave me any problems. Never understood some specifications but didnt really need to. Flawless. I would recommend this to everyone. The size could have been better. Some things dont fit inside the freezer area. Otherwise it is an excellent decision. Slick and incredible. Fits perfectly with the kitchen. It was improbable for me to find something bad about the entire look. Simplistic and useful. Great Buy. VALUE is eccentric. It is incredible how good this Refrigerator - it is one of the best products I have purchased in the last 10 years.

Keep food chilled in the fridge and frozen in the freezer. No unexpected problems. Ice and water maker worked. Large area of space for fruits and vegetables. Space for milk and large jugs of ice tea. Space for containers in the door like Mayo, jelly, yogurt, etc... It was a little bigger than the average sized refrigerator, but still fit nicely in my kitchen. Was easy to find a suitable place to move it if I decide to change the kitchen around. Easy to clean up and revealing its shine through each cleaning. Great finish holding up throughout Myrtle cleanings and messes. Would recommend to friends. Large freezer space with ice maker. Plenty of space by separating shelves. 2 doors compartments separate the fridge from the freezer by a split door. Quality built - well worth what you pay for the product.

It is a nice appliance. It keeps everything cold all the time. It is easy to clean. It has a small freezer for ice. For a single person such as myself, it is energy efficient. I like this unit I have. Its just right for me. I recommend it to anyone.

It lasts very long and is dependable. We have never had any major issues with it and it is a great warranty that gives you peace of mind if it should ever break down that it will be fully covered no matter what. It can fit everything that we put in it large or small without any problems. As most people know they are fairly large refrigerators that can take anything that you throw at it no matter what. It is a very modern looking fridge that should fit in well with any decor and it is very sleek and updated with the latest colors and technology. The price was great and I never have to worry about it breaking down because they seem to hold up to pretty much anything that may be done to it no matter what it is that may happen to it.

We purchased a new refrigerator four years ago. Now we need a small part, a motor fan, and it is no longer made or available. Our beautiful (looking) and expensive refrigerator is no longer usable, and we have to buy a new one which we cannot afford. Shame on Sears for discontinuing a part after such a short period of time and not standing behind their appliances; and the service tech was rude to boot. We have always bought Kenmore appliances. Now we will never buy Kenmore appliances, and we will share our story in any way we can.

No issues or service calls. I have just realized that it has performed for 15 years. It is frost free and has traveled from Georgia to Alabama and continue to work well. This refrigerator has a 20 cubic foot capacity, with adjustable shelves for taller or shorter containers, two vegetable bins, a dehydrator with adjustable temperature levels, an ice maker and plenty of room in the freezer compartment. The appearance is a non smooth finish that does not receive fingerprints and two separate compartments, one for the freezer and one for the regular stuff. It looks great and works great. The value of this refrigerator has been superior to the quality of products on the market now. I know of people who have replaced refrigerators and have had them less time than I have had mine.

Kenmore is reputable than most brands in the market. It is a great product for food storage and it had lots of room to store food to keep cold. It keeps food fresh from spoiling. I like the tray space and the freezer space altogether. My refrigerator has a nice white color that I would recommend to others looking to buy a Kenmore. The price of others as most models are cheaper but dont come close to a Kenmore refrigerator. I wished Kenmore had much more space to store food to keep it as the model I have has limited space for tall items. My expectations would be the use of smart technology in the future years to come. I dont see any other brand come close to a Kenmore because they have a shorter lifespan.

It keeps really cool. Love the storage and its very quiet which is my favorite choice. Water filter seems to last a long time and I never had any leaks. but, it does not have much freezer space and seems too deep and it tends to lose food in it. Perfect fridge area and I love the movable shelves but I wish it had more door space on freezer door. Also, I love the black and the smudge proof. I cant see hand prints. Solid build and sturdy handles. It has shine and is easy to clean. Perfect size and width. Overall, it was well worth the cash I paid for it.

The Kenmore refrigerator was a side by side. The size was good, the freezer fairly large. We had very little trouble with the Kenmore. The reason we bought a different refrigerator was because we remodeled the kitchen and the color did not match.

It was a reliable fridge for many years. Never had any problems with it. It was fine until it needed to be replaced.

When we purchased our Kenmore elite refrigerator model # 795.77563600 Serial # 603KR02266 we were told it was top of the line. Little did we know what they really meant was top of the line to constantly break! The first thing to go was the fan, then the motor, then the ice maker froze solid and was leaking water all over. The glass that goes on top of the veggie pull out drawers shattered and the plastic frame of the veggie drawers cracked right in the middle! We still had warranty so everything was replaced or repaired. I refused to pay $500.00 to keep the warranty for another year and being everything had just been replaced/repaired, I didnt anticipate any more problems. Boy was I wrong! The seals around the doors cracked and tore, and the ice maker froze up. Literally its ONE BIG PIECE OF ICE!Then, one day I was sitting in the living room when I heard water splashing. I went to the kitchen and the water dispenser was spitting out water as if someone had a glass pressing on the water dispenser lever!! I thought the dispenser had somehow become stuck. However after I pressed it over and over trying to unstick it, the water didnt stop. I had to open the doors to get it to stop spurting out water! I had to leave the doors open because every time I closed them the water would start coming out again. My husband finally got home and had to disconnect the water at the back of the refrigerator! We are amazed that this thing is actually still working (keeping the temps. accurate in both freezer and refrig.) I have NEVER been so disappointed in any product as I am in Kenmore Elite!To this day I refuse to purchase anything from Sears because of the bad service and more importantly the HORRIBLE PRODUCT we were sold! All Sears had to say was, The only thing we can do is send our repair guys out, but youre going to have to pay for their services because you didnt purchase our service contract! NO THANK YOU!!! Id rather save the 500 bucks and purchase a new refrig. somewhere else being that the older the appliance, the higher the price goes on the service contracts!!! What gets me even more is that Im still paying for this overpriced piece of junk!

When we moved 3 years ago, the previous tenants had taken all the appliances. So, since we had past experience with Kenmore, we went to Sears to replace them. The refrigerator has been good and dependable. The only bad comment I might have is that the ice maker is a bit noisy.

I like the Kenmore brand and it is usually reliable. It lasted longer than previous refrigerator. The refrigerator has deep shelves in refrigerator side that are easy to clean. The ice maker produced ice quickly and they never had an odd taste like previous ice maker. The refrigerator held temperature well. But the freezer side never seemed big enough. Also, I did not like the lights inside the refrigerator. Melted the light fixture when it did not shut off when door was closed and ruined food on top shelf by light. It is somewhat easy to get someone at Kenmore to fix any issues. The light issue was solved within a few days- although I wish I waited a year to get the new refrigerator with the new light design. The new models have a different light with LED.

Compressor broke within 2 yrs. Still under warranty but almost 2 months now and still not fixed. Had us wait all day to come out to fix and then called after 5 and told us we had to reschedule. Finally showed up and found they ordered wrong part. Gotta wait again. Thank God we could borrow my sons old old fridge otherwise we would be completely WITHOUT a fridge. Sears told us to notify our insurance company for loss of use!! Thought I was buying quality product but all we got was a high priced cheaply made refrigerator and very very poor customer service. And they are very aware of this problem but not seeing any recalls. Never again Sears! Kenmore! LG!

I bought my Kenmore refrigerator back in October 1999 and it still works so good today Dec 2018 that it will start freezing stuff in the refrigerator area after 3-5 days. Plus the freezer works great. My only complaint is the freezer is too small of a portion of the refrigerator. They should have taken more of the refrigerator to make the freezer bigger. I do have to limit how much freezer stuff I get. Frozen stuff that can be thawed prior to using. I will put that on my top shelf of the refrigerator if needed as that shelf will freeze stuff in one day and the items placed on the top shelf of the refrigerator usually will remain frozen or have lots of ice in it like a slushie. The only time I have had problems with the Kenmore was around 10-15 years ago. I kept adjusting the temperature in the refrigerator so things wouldnt freeze up but then it started keeping things too warm and started acting up. I dont have the refrigerator on the highest setting today. It has numbers 1-7 and 7 is the coldest and I keep it on 6. Ever since I stopped changing the temperature dial then no more problems. The refrigerator only cost me $399 and its well worth the money that I have paid for the refrigerator.

I loved the alarm on the door. It was very helpful with my special needs daughter who only partially shut the door. Plus I loved having the filter for water and ice. I loved that it wasnt too large. For me the size was perfect. I needed that space as my daughter and husband ate a lot. Previous refrigerators were too small for me. I purchased this one specifically for its size. I was going for a stainless steel look in all my appliances and I started with this refrigerator. I love the Kenmore brand. All of my appliances will be Kenmore stainless steel. The amount I paid for this refrigerator was a little extra and that was only because I had purchased it through a rental place. Had I purchased it through Sears and my credit were better at the time, I would have paid less for it.

I have had my avocado green refrigerator since 1972 and it had never given me any problems. Im sure the ice maker would still work if I had the water hooked up to it, but had to move it onto a screened in porch a few years ago to make room for a side by side. It is used for cold drinks, food trays during the holidays or parties, and the freezer for over flow from the other freezers. I couldnt be happier with it and the service it has provided over the years. This refrigerator came out before the energy efficient ones were being thought about and as far as I am concerned it doesnt use any more energy than the newer ones.It is an 18.cubic foot with the nice sized freezer, with a shelf and ice maker. The refrigerator has numerous shelves that can be moved around or removed for larger items. There are 2 vegetable bins that are nice and deep across the bottom. There is a wide wire basket below the bins that makes extra storage possible for items. It has a nice finish that easily wipes down to keep it looking clean. There is a lot of room on top to store items that arent used everyday.

We purchased a Kenmore side by side refrigerator in July of 2016, also purchased their very expensive 3 year warranty, or as they call it, their Master Protection Agreement. During that 3 years we had eight service calls for the icemaker. After the fourth or fifth service call the technician told us that this model has a design flaw, and that it would keep breaking. Well guess what? They were right. Right after the warranty ran out it broke again and this time the service rep said he could not fix it. The design flaw was in the wiring at the bottom of the freezer, at the hinge where the door swings open. They could no longer splice the wiring to fix it! We paid $89.00 for this service call in which they did nothing but tell us it was unfixable!We contact Customer Service and the BBB to file complaints. Sears refused to help us in any way, telling us we were basically out of luck. They also refuse to refund our $89.00 for the NON-service call. The Customer Service Rep who answered the BBB complaint offered to give us a 20% discount on a new refrigerator. Ridiculous! We will never buy another Sears product. A design flaw such as this should be grounds for a Class Action Law Suit.

My wife and I purchased a $2k Kenmore Elite fridge 4-1/2 years ago with all reviews at the time as 4.5 to 5 stars. The fridge quit working a couple of weeks ago so we called Sears and they could not send a tech out for over a week. Then they tried to sell an extended warranty for $50/Month + service call. I then called a local repair guy that came out to inform me that the compressor died. Kenmore are apparently famous for this, and the fridge is made by LG which is also a Samsung. Not going to spend a thousand dollars to fix when it is only good for another year or two. Not being brand loyal, the repair person told us which brands are good and which ones to avoid. He has been banned from writing reviews and his reviews get removed. He also informed us that said brands spend 80% of the costs on marketing and 20% on the product. Knowledge is power, talk to somebody local that is not brand loyal when you purchase something of any significant cost associated with it.

Bought it in 1997. Just noticed the door seal on the refrigerator is going bad so I should replace it. Bought it in 1997 and it still works just fine. The Sears high efficiency furnace I put in my house also works great. That was installed in 1983... 36 years. I've had great value from all my Kenmore and Sears products.

I bought my Kenmore Refrigerator a while back and it is still in good shape. When I bought it, I didnt want to spend a lot and so I chose this one. The fridge is white and while I am not really picky with colors, you will be able to notice the dirtiness quickly if you tend to spill things. Also, we are a family of 6 so we tend to buy a lot. The normal side where you put eggs and milk is okay. The space is big and you can put a lot of things there. But, I believe the freezer side is too small. Nevertheless, everything we buy fits.

Its a little loud at times, like making ice, but overall, is quiet. It has also lasted us a really long time. It makes food last longer, and we have had this fridge for years. Really worth the money. It can fit a lot of things in there. Kinda wished the freezer was a bit bigger, but both sides are pretty much perfect. It also is the right size because our family is short, and we can still reach everything for the most part. It is very elegant, and we can stick things on there. It is also very easy to clean and maintain. Dust doesnt even really stick to it. I would buy from this brand again. It was kinda expensive, but it is well worth the money. It was last, really easy to maintain, can store a lot of food, and keeps food lasting longer. You pay more for great quality.

Lasted less than a year! Called last September, ice maker stopped working, freezer had ice and frost all over food, and appointment scheduled in October, parts ordered, never heard back. I called back, was told parts on back order, would be delivered within 21 working days. Called back in November, was told parts from Korea weren’t coming in, my case was “escalated” and I someone would call me in 2-3 days. I called back a week later and was told the same thing, 2-3 days. In December I called and was told I had been approved for replacement but no amount was entered in my file, I would be contacted in 2-3 days with amount, then I could select a replacement on ** and schedule the exchange. January and February I called back, was told the same thing, and still nobody ever called me back. The last time I was told to call the nearest Sears Hometown store to see if I could go there and pick out a replacement. This store is in Georgia, I live in Florida, about 20 miles away. That manager called Sears for me who said I needed to go to the Orlando store, over 3 hours from me, because Hometown stores were not authorized to handle replacements! Every time I have called since then, Sears transfers me to customer solutions dept who says there is still no amount, but that I was approved on Dec 1, 2020 for replacement. I was told PABA Dept needs to give me an amount. The amount I paid was $1499 plus tax and delivery. When they transfer me to that department, they hang up on me. Meanwhile my refrigerator is getting worse, food is spoiling in refrigerator, melting in freezer, Sears doesn’t care!!!

I was broke and needed a refrigerator. I found a used Kenmore refrigerator and was what I could get at the time. It was great and beautiful compared to not having one at all. I was just glad to get one. I liked that the refrigerator was spacious and cheap.

It always keeps everything perfectly cold in the fridge and perfectly frozen in the freezer and leaves little to no freezer burn even on things that are in for a long time. It Generally can always fit everything that I need but I guess a little more space would be nice for when I have holiday dinners and need to prepare many food items a day or two early. It kind of gets full when I need to do that. Other than that its size is great. And Its a breeze to clean. Also it flows nicely with almost any decor and I just really love the way the stainless steel looks in my kitchen. Yes these refrigerators are more expensive than your regular run of the mill refrigerator but like they say you get what you pay for. Trust me its definitely worth the extra bucks and energy saving appliances are always a plus and the side by side doors are just perfect.

Purchased a Kenmore Elite side by side about 5 years ago, right after one year when warranty expired the ice making stopped making ice. This fridge freezes everything like a hard rock in the refrigerator regardless of the temperature. This refrigerator has lots of leaking issues, the aluminum, the coils. The only positive about this fridge is the shelves and drawers. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS AT ALL.

Great. I love the way it was easy to access, always kept my food in good eating conditions, and really easy to keep clean. The freezer part managed to keep the food frozen until we actually needed to use it, and the ice cream was always ready to eat, not too soft and not too hard when it came time to eat the ice cream. And the multi pull out drawers made it very easy to store whatever it was we bought from the store on a daily basis.

Pathetic. We purchased the fridge in 2005. Kenmore Elite Cabinet Depth French Door Fridge model 795.7519240. The vegetable drawers have been a pain forever. They always come off their tracks and are awkward to put back on. No matter how careful we are, it happens. Also the cold water supply main switch control from the main board wire broke because it swings when the door opens and closes. It is in the molded insulation of the door, so a new wire had to be routed under the rubber gasket and a hole drilled through the insulation to bring the new wire to the control board (The factory wanted to sell us a new door!). Sad, sad when the fridge it replaced had been working almost 20 years without a hitch.

We have been a customer of Sears for over 40 years, but not anymore. 5 years ago we downsized and bought 5 appliances from Sears. We even bought their so called warranty. From experience it is not worth the paper it is written on. They will find a way not to send a tech. Three months after purchase of the fridge had a leak in the freezer area. First thought it was caused by over filling the ice trays. When I checked further noticed is was from a water line. Called and was promised they would send someone out. Three weeks later he arrived. Quickly pointed out there was a called back on a part. Was told by Sears missed the expiry date by 3 days. Called a salesman and he told me he had the same issue. Was told to call Kenmore which we did. Was told they could do nothing. Yesterday noticed the two lights in the fridge were both blown. I thought this to be odd. Unscrewed one, but could not get the other. Had to remove the light fixture and break to light itself. Found there were scorched marks near the base of the light. About an hour later was able to remove what was left of socket. Disconnected that light and am running on one light. Called Sears again and no surprise was told nothing they could do.I hear all kinds of similar stories from friends. Mr Sears, no wonder your company is losing money and closing store. You have no idea what customer service is all about. By the way my son in law just bought a new home and needed all appliances. He knew the issues I had. Guess what: never even went to Sears. Cannot wait until I have replace the appliances. Goodbye Mr. Sears forever.

Been great, keeps things cold and has plenty of storage space. We bought it 2 years ago and it still runs like its brand new. I would recommend our fridge to anyone! it really has been a great appliance.

My girlfriend always wanted a Kenmore refrigerator and it was tax time. We had a great deal and was going to get the one that had the see through front but decided on the one we got. I have always been told that they were a very dependable brand. I like that it was strong, looked like steel, had lots of capacity and had the freezer at the bottom. Im just getting used to the freezer being switched around. However, the fridge dented my pocketbook.

The Kenmore refrigerator was a name brand and on sale plus it came with a nice warranty and the store had it in stock so I was able to have it delivered the very next day. However, the delivery person was not here during the window they advised. Although I like the color of the fridge, it would be nice in some nonstandard colors. Also, the white color is easily damaged by magnets which everyone uses. Nevertheless, the Kenmore Refrigerator is sturdy, reliable, nice looking and easy to clean. It fits nice into a precut out spot for my refrigerator.

The refrigerator lasted me for about 10-12 years, and it did its job. Pretty much the only reason I got rid of it was because I completely remodeled my kitchen. Unfortunately, it just didnt fit into the general atmosphere. It was a bit small, but that was probably just because it was supporting a family of six that cooks from home. It worked, but we definitely couldve used a bit more space. It was plain white, which got dirty every now and then, but then we would just clean it and itd look as good as new. Unfortunately, I had to get rid of it because of a complete remodeling of the kitchen. It did its job for as long as I needed it (10 years), it looked fine, and I had an appropriate amount of space. Not only that, I probably could have used it for another 5 years, even after it took on 4 kids.

I will never buy another Kenmore product again. I purchased a home in 2003 that had a somewhat small old Westinghouse fridge that I used for 7 years without issue. I bought a Kenmore Top Freezer Refrigerator 18.2 cu. ft. 68882 from Sears when I had some extra money during a sale for an upgrade in 2011. 2 years later it stops cooling and theres only a one year limited warranty! A one year limited warranty on a $600.00 fridge? Kenmore does not stand behind their cheap products. They want you to purchase the additional expensive coverage or be screwed when one of their cheap parts stops working. And believe me they will stop working!

My Refrigerator works very well. The freezer is very cold. It got a spacious compartment where I can put my veggies, fruits, salads, milk, sodas, and many mores stuff. The design is very unique and elegant. It got enough space where I can put the rest of my frozen stuff. I like the silver color, its very neat looking, & very high quality. The design looks luxurious, astounding, and looks very durable. The value is affordable, and its worth it with the quality, design, durability of this product. Its worth every penny to have my refrigerator.

Kenmore has been the only brand I have used on any major appliance and it has always proved to be reliable, dependable and worth every penny I spend on the purchase. Kenmore is/has been the only brand I have ever considered purchasing. Their refrigerator seems to work better than other refrigerators. It keeps things cold. However the plastic drawers do not seem to stay on track real good when loaded. There needs to be some way to make them more sturdy to where they fit on the tracks and stay on them better. Other than that, it serves our purpose

Plenty of space for most families. It has very spacious shelving and the layout of all the shelves and their adjustability is really nice. The freezer freezes fast and is plenty spacious with it being a top and bottom unit. Id say its one of the better fridges. It is smaller than a side by side which is always nice and the room that it has inside is incredible. Id definitely recommend this fridge to a friend. This fridge is all sleek and nice. Its looks are like a ordinary top and bottom fridge but its not and thats a huge difference between now days and 2-5 years ago. Its value is decent base on my family and what we can get inside of the freezer and fridge part itself. Its nice and quiet and has a decent energy efficiency rating.

We were happy with the Kenmore. We just recently purchased a GE refrigerator because of the storage space it gave us the option of having. When we had issues with the refrigerator the customer service with Kenmore was very accommodating and helpful.

I have had my refrigerator for almost 20 years. The only problem I have encountered, after 15 years we had to replace the ice maker. It is in perfect working order but in the future I will purchase another Kenmore.

Its wonderful. The ice comes out well and its always nice and cool. Best fridge ever. I would recommend it to anyone and probably everyone. Its huge and has enough space. I can fit a lot of groceries in each side.. And it never looks full. Its amazing. Just a lot of room. I have black and it fits well with all my kitchen interior. Its very very black and glossy. I love it. The value is good, I think its definitely worth its price.. Maybe could be a bit cheaper for reasons so people can afford it but Ive had it for years.

We need a new refrigerator and I am not sure yet if it will be a Kenmore. It did seem to stop functioning in some areas too soon. The ice maker stopped working and the refrigerator now leaks.

I bought Kenmore Refrigerator, 795692902, on May 2012. The warranty elapsed six months ago. The freezer works fine but the Refrigerator below is cool. I called a repair person. He diagnosed the problem as being a computer board for the Refrigerator is bad. He said the Refrigerator is too new to have that kind of problem.. I would not buy any Kenmore product again.

Keeps all the cold my food and is quiet and low on energy bills. It is large and looks great in my kitchen and all my friends and neighbors come and admire it and want to know where I got it. The fridge is big to hold turkey, fruit snacks and milk. It has drawers and is easy to clean too. I pull out the shelves and clean them weekly without an issue all the time. The stainless steel is pretty cool and the best thing that is the price of the fridge was affordable to make it pretty and fit in with the rest of the kitchen. The value was good and the warranty was long enough for me and the company is that easy for a great price, i comparison shopped too and ensured that it was good.

It last a long time, for years and keep things cool. Run very well. The price on Kenmore is good. Good product to have. You can count on the refrigerator to run a long time. I just bought one and this is the 2nd one I bought. My 1st I had about 15 years and still running good.

I have a Kenmore deep freezer that I love. I have never had a problem with it. The deep freezer is a 5 by 3 by 4 deep. Always keeps my food frozen. We have had ours for over 2 years now and still is running like a champ.

The ice maker was a must-have for my husband. It really helps with keeping the freezer door shut and save energy. The kids drink more water because of it. All in all the fridge is very spacious and the shelves make it easy to find everything. 26 cu. ft was the biggest one they had. It works great for our family. The kids can always find their snacks after school or after play time. The whole family is happy with the size. Its very pretty and we get lots of compliments. People seem to like the size and the overall look of it. The finish is easy to clean and the ice maker is very noticeable. It was a little bit pricey, but so worth it. Overall we are very pleased with the fridge and the freezer. I would buy this one again, but being a Kenmore we wont need to for years to come.

This refrigerator has premium space efficiently at a great price point. Every product has a place, making it rare to lose food due to it being out of sight. The temperature stayed consistent throughout use, and power surges had no effect. Great product! The size is a little bit on the bigger side for me, small kitchens arent optimal for this product. In a bigger kitchen there would have been no negativity from me. This refrigerator is classy! Very simplistic at first glance, not ostentatious. Appearance is basic but reaches out to a specific customer. After browsing and comparing many refrigerators, the value of this specific product is amazing. The space to price ratio makes this a quality purchase.

One refrigerator was on recall, but we knew nothing about it. Even the service man said he was unaware of the recall. It took months to have it repaired. We moved and bought a new refrigerator. Our new fridge had problems with icing up in the bottom freezer. We took care of that problem and now months later it will not keep anything cool in the main part of the fridge. The fridge is 2 years old. Very frustrating. Model number 596 699 52011.
