Weve had no problems with how it runs/works well, the water dispenser is quite convenient also. However, it would be better if there were more space in the freezer. There is barely enough space for all our frozen meat. The refrigerator section as well could be improved by more space.

I have owned a couple of Kenmore refrigerators in my life and was very happy with the performance and design of both of them. The refrigerator before my current kitchen refrigerator was a Kenmore and a very good one. It lasted for 15 years and functionally couldve lasted a few more years I am sure, but we just wanted an upgrade and the appearance of the old one was getting pretty battered. I never had any problems with my Kenmore and probably would have gotten another one except my friend was able to get me a fantastic deal on another brand.

Weve never had a problem with this refrigerator. Keeps temperature very well and temperature is consistent throughout the main compartment. Energy efficient. Works well for our family of four. Easy to manage bulkier items like pizza boxes, milk jugs, soda bottles, etc. Freezer compartment is generous but poorly organized. Like the stainless finish, but does collect streaks and spots from a house with children. Somewhat boring profile, nothing of note just blends in to overall kitchen. Did some comparison shopping and we got a great deal by waiting for special offer. Because of efficiency I am confident the cost of ownership is also low.

The ice maker produced ice quickly and they never had an odd taste like previous ice maker. The refrigerator held temperature well. But the freezer side never seemed big enough. Also, I did not like the lights inside the refrigerator. Melted the light fixture when it did not shut off when door was closed and ruined food on top shelf by light. It is somewhat easy to get someone at Kenmore to fix any issues. The light issue was solved within a few days- although I wish I waited a year to get the new refrigerator with the new light design. The new models have a different light with LED.

My fridge does exactly what I bought it for. Keeps my food cold and my freezer stuff frozen. Overall it does a perfect job for me. The size of my refrigerator is perfect for a family like mine. After shopping trips we still have plenty of room left over after putting our groceries in it. This is for a family of 6 too. The appearance of our fridge is great. Keeps the food cold in the fridge and the freezer keeps the food solid. This size fridge is also great for a family of two. It fits nice in the area that a fridge needs to fit and holds two to three weeks of grocery for my family. The color of the fridge goes well with all my other kitchen appliances too. I purchased a Kenmore french door refrigerator in July 2017. It is 1 year and 4 months old. A couple weeks ago we reached in to get a bottle of water and it was warm. We placed a thermometer in the fridge and noticed that no matter what temperature we set the fridge on, it fluctuates between 33 degrees and 50 degrees. We were told by a repairman that it needs an LG Main Control Board and that the Boards are defective. Do yourself a favor and avoid ANY LG appliances or appliances that have any LG parts.

Ive had my Kenmore fridge for over 20 yrs and its still doing a great job. A couple years ago, the fan stopped running, and we did not realize it till it started leaking water from bottom on floor. Called Service man (independent), and he told us if it werent a Kenmore, it would have died, that it held up really good for as long as fan wasnt working. Highly recommend this brand in all appliances. We still have it along w/ all our Kenmore appliances and theyre all still running GREAT!

It did the job fine, I got what I needed out of it but it was in my apartment. The space of it was decent enough and I dont have much complaints. Looks-wise, it was also cute. Not huge but works well for 1-2 people. I think that it worked fine for the apartment that I was in but not for a small family. I personally had to upgrade mine to fit the amount of people living in the home. It was not a bad looking refrigerator and I personally would use it again if it was just me. There is nothing wrong with this fridge looks-wise or use-wise. Not a bad value at all, it got me through what I needed it for! Big, useful, great product. The refrigerator is huge and has a lot of storage for fruit, meats, leftovers, juice, milk, butter and etc. The freezer too has a lot of space. The ice is automatic so you dont have to dig your hands in an ice bin. There is also filtered water. The size is very ideal. Many different storage places, racks, and etc. It is a very deep fridge so theres more space towards the back. The outside is very nice-looking with a steel glass looking. On the inside it is very contemporary looking with lots of shelving and storage. Great value. It has lasted me years with no problems. Everything works and looks the same as when I bought it. You just have to make sure to keep it clean.

I havent had any major issues. I do struggle with cleaning it if something has spilled and hasnt been cleaned up immediately. I also think that because I have an older style, the placement of items in the fridge is more difficult.

Not really getting too cold but I see I am having what I have read about with multiple reviews on their Elite, 2 Door with bottom freezer are having. The freezer coils, freezing over. It seems to show an Error code of FF. The coils, for various reasons, freeze over. Mine is a little over 4 yrs. I have read where some say they are regular happenings that they defrost every year almost. Then you have the problem of finding someone to work on them, A lot of the local repair stores in my area would not touch them claiming getting parts are hard so I wound up calling Sears new A&E repair service since their brick and mortar stores are almost closed.They came and then told me they usually had no problem working on them but then I had to wait a few days to get the part they claimed was faulty, the thermistor, and then it took me a week or a little more to have them come back to install the part. So if you dont have a backup fridge, this may not be the fridge for you. They are LG so you might as well consider them also. Same fridge and same problems. The bottom line is they are hard to find repair stores to work on them, they are hard to get parts for and then they may even be hard to get the parts installed on them. In the meantime, mine did continue to run but I had a few things that thawed out the first time the problem showed itself. I would not recommend them as a good purchase.

It has really completed my kitchen. The refrigerator has so far lived up to my expectations. I have had no issues with it this far and enjoy it. To me it was worth the cost.

It hasnt given us any real problems over its lifespan other than it makes a very loud thumping sound when shutting off. It still runs perfectly though. It is definitely big enough for a regular sized family of 3 or 4 people. The only time there isnt enough room is when we are hosting a gathering. It has a very basic appearance and is white in color. I wouldnt say theres anything special about the appearance but that isnt why we bought this model. It is more of a bargain refrigerator so I think its a great value. I want to say it was around $1000? No repair bills of any kind so we cant complain.

Kenmore Elite Kenmore refrigerator (Model number 59676522500) required frequent service calls. It would have been nice if the repairmen told us that they were repairing the same part over and over again. It is a horrible design flaw. The copper tubing that goes from the compressor to the evaporator runs through the drain pan. The moisture corrodes the tubing causing loss of Freon. The repair is expensive (Sears wanted $900). If we had known the other four repairs were caused by this design flaw, we would have continued the extended service plan which had expired shortly after the last repair. So, this $2,000 refrigerator wasnt built to last even a year. It was repair every year since purchase. It is now 5.8 years old and needed to be repaired again. Youd think they would fix the problem, not just put band aids on it.

I have a bottom freezer with an ice maker. I absolutely love it. The ice maker doesnt make huge ice and with the fact I love chewing ice, it makes it perfect. Plus I was able to connect it to my water purifier so I never get hard water in my ice even though we have well water. Another thing I love is the double door refrigerator. It makes it so easy to organize and clean. The only real problem I have found is defrosting the freezer. When you do, it is such a mess.

I purchased a Kenmore refrigerator in 2008. A couple of weeks ago, I noticed that the ice was taking days to freeze and the ice cream was defrosting. I called service and was told that my 1-year warranty had expired and I had two options: purchase an extended 1-yr warranty for $298.00 and the repair would be free, or call service which would cost $109 to diagnose the problem and approx $300+ to repair (based loosely on the symptoms I described).Neither of these options is acceptable for the following reasons: 1. I purchased this refrigerator for about $490. 2. If the average lifespan of a refrigerator is 15-18 years, my EXPECTATION is that this unit will last the average lifetime without major repairs. Had Sears advertised that this unit may only last 4 years before needing major repair, of course I would not have bought it. 3. The estimated cost for repairing this appliance is between 60% and 100% of the purchase price. This is ridiculous. Why would I have bought a unit that would need this type of repair after 4 years.I contacted Sears and they offered me 15% off repair or 15% off the purchase of a new refrigerator. Neither of these options are acceptable. The unit is obviously defective so why would I invest that kind of money in repairing it. If this is the level of confidence they have in their own product, why should I buy another Kenmore refrigerator. Right now, I am out of $500 because I have to purchase another refrigerator, and Sears has basically benefited by selling a full-priced defective product.

It has a reset capability, which comes in handy when you change the water filter. The cubes and crushed ice tend to get stuck but nothing you cant use your hand to fix. Its not the biggest especially if you have a big family, its more than perfect for smaller households. The freezer is pretty standard as well as the actual fridge part. Its sleek and stainless steel. My household size is small, and we do not require as much space as a larger family would need. This size might not work well for a larger household. I like the color - its neutral enough to fit into the decor of my kitchen if I decide to redecorate or repaint the room. Ive repainted the room twice since purchasing the refrigerator, and I havent needed to take the color of the appliance into consideration when choosing new colors. This fridge was cheap and it shows in its looks and performance. Its a great value for people just starting out and without a lot of needs. If I had known how it would act, we would have paid more for the next model up. It is a plain white fridge with a textured finish that is difficult to keep clean. It is moderate in size and sticks out past the cabinets. It is just a normal fridge with no bells or whistles. The size is ok for a kitchen but we need an outside fridge to hold extra milk and food. The cheese drawer is very small and the produce drawers dont really have humidity control. Since the freezer and fridge share a thermostat the fridge often freezes things if we want to keep the freezer cold enough to make solid ice.

The size of my fridge is fairly good! I can usually fit a months worth of groceries in at the same time with no problem. The freezer side, not so great. I really have to pack it in there. Sleek and sophisticated, fits in pretty much any kitchen. Doesnt require too much cleaning to keep up appearance and what cleaning it does require is easy. I pretty much got what I paid for. I could get the dispenser fixed, Im sure, but for the price I paid for this refrigerator (it was on sale), I got an awesome deal.

We bought a Kenmore Elite Refrigerator with French doors about 5 years ago because we trusted the Sears Kenmore name brand. It was almost $3,000 retail. The ice maker and temperature controls went out the very first year. A Sears vendor came out and replaced the ice maker after a few weeks. Stated its an LG first year not Whirlpool. LG brand refrigerators are not good quality and parts take forever. In fact all service vendors have commented this brand is not good and takes forever for parts.Over the past 5 years have had 4 ice makers (including another one tomorrow), 2 control motherboards, temperature sensors for both refrigerator and freezer, heating element and a host of other issues. These units are the worst ever and if we knew it was made by LG - would not have bought it. Lost several hundreds of dollars in food. Sears needs to recall these units and until then I am boycotting them.

We have had our Kenmore Elite refrigerator for 3 years and it has totally quit working. The internal compressor has failed which is more than 1000 to repair. Waste of money!!! Not going to own another Kenmore ever.

I purchased a Kenmore for several reasons. It is a brand that has great name recognition. I was looking for a smaller width refrigerator and the Kenmore line had a size I needed and had all the special features I was looking for even though it was a smaller size. The water filter is easy to change because of its location. Glass shelves are important too. They are easy to clean and so much better than the wire shelving. The vegetable drawers are deep and I like the fact that they are clear. The refrigerator is super quiet too. The ice maker really does a good job too. The location of the ice bin on the door is a feature I appreciate. Im able to see the quantity of ice and I can also remove the bin easily if needed! I just really wish they would have several lights in the freezer. For some reason I always manage to block the light with my placement of the frozen items. I also am not happy with the bottom door shelf. I find that the depth is a little too small.

Sears Kenmore Elite Refrigerator is junk. Weve had our fridge for 5 years and have had repairman out 4 times. Always a hassle and never can diagnose and fix it in one or even two visits. We are done with Sears. Never again.

In the winter of 2014 I bought the Kenmore 795.5131 model side-by-side refrigerator during a sale from Sears. In the spring of 2015 the ice machine stopped working. I did not buy more than a 1 year protection plan and am quite annoyed that I had to pay over $200 to have it replaced. The repairman who I have had used for over a decade told me that this brand of Kenmore uses LG parts who are mostly made of plastic. My intent is to let others and Sears manufacturers know that by buying one they may be in the same boat.

The Kenmore refrigerator worked well, it needed no major repairs, had adjustable temp. control for the refrigerator compartment, easy to clean. I had it for a long time. The price fit my budget and I knew the brand. It did meet my expectations for size, ease of use, reliability, except for the freezer compartment. Freezer could have been colder and if I had to buy another refrigerator, Id pay more to get one that had a specific control for the temperature of the freezer compartment. Also, I didnt like the egg tray because it was not removable which made that the one part harder to clean.

This fits well in my kitchen as I dont have a very large area designated for my refrigerator and I like the white color as it matches my other appliances. It withstands fingerprints and cleans up really well. My kids have all kinds of magnets on it and they dont mar the surface. Also, it holds all the food I need, even after going to the grocery. Tends to freeze things in the back but it works well. The freezer section is adequate and keeps food the proper temperature. It is a good refrigerator and its over 6 years old. I feel like the price paid was fair for the product. The Kenmore name is a good one and I would have paid more for the quality and name.

When I needed a new refrigerator I wanted another Kenmore but I had to have it immediately. Sears did not have any available in the finish and style I needed. It works incredibly well and is very easy to clean. It holds a decent amount of stuff. The freezer is slightly smaller than I would like but is sufficient for my small family. It hold most of the things I need but I did have to remove one of the shelves to make the spaces the right size to hold a gallon of milk. The door shelves are decent. It is clean and doesnt take up too much space but would look a lot better in stainless steel or possibly in black. The white attracts dirt and grime a little more than I would like. For the size and space the price was very reasonable but you definitely get what you pay for. The lines of it are not super clean and the style is a little outdated but its not the worst I have ever seen or used.

It is great. It has a lot of capacity and the freezer produces ice quickly. Very resistant to scratches and wear and tear. This fridge is the tank of the refrigerator world. It can hold well over a month’s worth of groceries plus a lot of freezer space for steaks, ice cream, anything you can imagine. This fridge will meet your needs easily. It looks awesome and the finish holds up to scratches and peeling. It still looks new after 5 years of daily use. It will hold up to anything you try and throw at it. It is perfect. It has held up very well. Over the years still works great. It looks like the day I bought it 5 years ago. Its value should increase after such a long time working flawlessly.

I love it. It was a beautiful stainless-steel at a reasonable price and was recommended by friends. The side to side refrigerator has great height and depth with automatic ice maker and all the extras.

For the price it was at the time (there was a sale when I went to take a look at it), the space and build of this unit was great for my budget. Its basic and I like that because I dont have to worry so much about maintenance with fancy features. I can display photos and its easy to clean. Very well in keeping things cool and stored. The freezer is just enough space for all my long term storage needs and the energy saving feature is a big help. Also, it holds all my groceries and snacks brought in by my family and friends. Its a huge help around the holidays when I got to cook a lot.

I do not own a Kenmore now, but used to own one. It was quality and built to last. I would highly recommend Kenmore. Its even the refrigerator of choice in pharmaceutical companies. It comes in a variety of sizes. I always prefer the refrigerator/freezer. The model we used had the freezer on top. Good stuff. I like the variety of sizes and styles. I like the white, but silver and black are also colors. I enjoy the steel look. It also seems to last longer and look clean. Again, it lasts long and requires fewer repairs. I like the ruggedness of this appliance. Kenmore knows how to make them. The pricing may be a little bit more, but you are buying real quality.

2nd one weve owned and they just keep getting better. Id recommend buying this fridge to everyone I know. You will not be disappointed with any of the features it has to offer. This fridge fits large party trays which is something I need for hosting large get-togethers. There is nice compartments on the doors for all of our condiments. The modern and sleek design give my kitchen an updated look. It is beautiful for a fridge and goes with any color kitchen appliance. It has a great appeal. The price was affordable and reasonable for a fridge. We did our homework and found that it had everything we needed for a price lower than its competitors.

I was very pleased with this refrigerator. It keeps food very cold and was self defrosting. I would recommend this refrigerator to anyone. This refrigerator was very spacious and had 3 drawers and adjustable shelves. The drawers were big and the freezer compartment was very big also. This refrigerator was very easy to keep clean just by wiping it off. The shelves and drawers were removable and also easy to clean. It also matched my kitchen very nicely. This refrigerator was a great deal. I bought it from Sears and was able to finance it and had it paid off in 12 months. I looked at several different places and at different refrigerators and this was a great deal.

The Kenmore fridge has worked steadily with no problem for 4 years now. It keeps food as cool as it needs to in an even fashion unlike some fridges which are colder in some spots. Nice and roomy enough to hold everything we need it to. Runs quietly. It has side by side doors. Kenmore had it reasonably priced and has been worth it. Bought it and it was delivered the next day.

First of all Kenmore does not produce anything. They just put their name on other products like Whirlpool and LG, Korean appliances. I made a terrible mistake buying Kenmore Elite refrigerator. Nothing but trouble from the start. Kenmore Elite is a horrible product. This product looks great esthetically, but is overengineered, which creates unnecessary troubles as a result. Cost a fortune to diagnose and fix. Better off buying another fridge. And after speaking to the number of technicians, discovered that the best reliable refrigerators are made by GE, Maytag. Worst are LG, Kenmore, Samsung.

Very efficient and quiet and also very easy to use with little or no help at all. Its great. I will/wish all of your appliances worked as quietly as that brings to memory when my fridge went kaput. You can fit pots and pans and skillets and soil washers. It also will allow you to put in coolers if theyre not of great size and does get those clean especially after camping and fishing. It has a really Sleek look. Very small in size and fits in the smallest Corner in my kitchen but still is very easy to access. It was the best one that we saw for sale at the time especially for the small size. Besides having a very Sleek look and being small enough to fit in the corner of my kitchen the value seems fantastic as it has a really new look although it is not too old. I really do love it.

At first I was a bit weary on whether or not to buy the Kenmore refrigerator but once I got I just love it so very much. If I could buy another one I sure would. The only thing is that I wish there was more space to put food and storage. But overall a great fridge for sure.

I will never buy another Kenmore product again. I purchased a home in 2003 that had a somewhat small old Westinghouse fridge that I used for 7 years without issue. I bought a Kenmore Top Freezer Refrigerator 18.2 cu. ft. 68882 from Sears when I had some extra money during a sale for an upgrade in 2011. 2 years later it stops cooling and theres only a one year limited warranty! A one year limited warranty on a $600.00 fridge? Kenmore does not stand behind their cheap products. They want you to purchase the additional expensive coverage or be screwed when one of their cheap parts stops working. And believe me they will stop working!

It keeps everything at the right temperature and the freezer never frosts over my food. The crisper drawer is the perfect size. The shelves are the proper height for beverages also the crisper holds my vegetables perfectly and the shelves in the door allow me to place many bottles of various sizes. It is a very clean cut looking refrigerator. It is easy to keep clean and I loved how I was able to choose which way I wanted the doors to open because of the size of my kitchen. It was a perfect value for the size of the refrigerator. And also the appearance and choice of colors along with the cubic feet in size.

I love my Kenmore refrigerator because I feel confident to leave all of my food and I love how save the electricity is. I feel lucky got this excellence and good quality. We purchased a Kenmore Stainless door side by side refrigerator from Sears.com. They delivered five units before we finally got one acceptable. Not right just acceptable. The bodies of the units were so out of square, one door would be between a half to one inch higher or lower than the other and there was dried expanding spray foam sticking out up to three inches past the metal front plate. The real bad part about it was as long as the refrigerator was all packed up with the foam shipping blocks and strapped down, it looked fine. They would get it in the house, start unpacking it and thats when everything would go to hell. We eventually found out that the model we purchased manufacturing facility had been moved to Mexico. We purchased it in 2009 and because of all the problems we had, Sears gave us a five-year parts and labor extended warranty that we have had to use frequently. Both door seals have gone bad. It took three refrigerator doors and four freezer doors delivered to our home before we got one that didnt look like it had been through Wold War III and you could tell they came from the warehouse that way. Also the plastic surround on the shelves keep breaking. Were on our third shelf. Now, the unit has quit cooling and supposedly has a bad evaporator and drier tube, model# 106.59123801. Im wondering if anybody else has had same problems. According to Sears, this is supposed to be one of the most reliable units Kenmore makes. Thats a joke!

I purchased a Kenmore side by side refrigerator in 2006. In 2012 it needed to have the motor on the ice maker replaced. The same part needed to be replaced again in 2015. I understand that parts break down but this appears to be an issue for Kenmore. And of course this is an expensive part to replace. I always considered that Kenmore produced quality appliances but this experience has changed that opinion. The service person who made the repair gave excellent service.

We paid 150 dollars less than a comparable model from another manufacturer. With this the shelves were slightly less sturdy, especially the plastic ones but they are holding up fine. We have the black color. It arrived undamaged. It has retired for kids and it has resisted scratches. It also fit our kitchen nicely. The freezer portion is a bit cramped but he fridge has plenty of room, we especially love the crisper drawers. Also, the door easily holds two gallons of milk on one shelf. It works great. The only problem we have had is that it sometimes make a little ice. It otherwise has had no problems. It also is easy for the kids to operate.

The refrigerator is attractive. Mine was black and fits in well with other Kenmore appliances in the kitchen. It was not too shiny and cleaned up by just using a normal kitchen cleaning solution. Plenty of room and lasted for 10+ years for a family of four. It has drawers for vegetables and meats and there is a place in the door for milk and juices. The shelves can be adjusted for different heights and the ice maker works well. The ice maker and ability to access the water without opening the door is a money saving benefit. Also easy for children to use without constantly opening the door. The cost was very reasonable for the quality of the appliance. Kenmore is a name you can trust and rely on.

I enjoy my Kenmore. It is better than any fridge I ever had. You will have to try one for yourself. I am telling you to shop for one. You will love it. It keep your food fresh and good for week. It keep your food good in the freezer good too. So when you go to shop for a fridge you want to try getting a Kenmore. To see how it work for you. When we moved 3 years ago, the previous tenants had taken all the appliances. So, since we had past experience with Kenmore, we went to Sears to replace them. The refrigerator has been good and dependable. The only bad comment I might have is that the ice maker is a bit noisy.

In Dec 2015 purchased a Kenmore Elite refrigerator. A big stainless steel shiny one. It ran for almost five years. We have now had three compressors fail. The new ones and also had the software updated. Ther repair person just left saying our refrigerator is not repairable due to a Freon leak in the body of the refrigerator.We joined with thousands of LG customers in the National class action lawsuit. I am still within the five year warranty period and will petition for a replacement. Each time a refrigerator fails hundreds of dollars of groceries are lost. My opinion is that retail stores are complicit with LG for selling a product made to fail. This should be considered fraud. Retail store owners have to be aware and should also be held accountable for the damage to consumers. We should not be importing these products from Samsung. Reading the hundreds of reviews shows that LG is not responding in good faith and are still allowed to fraudulently lie about their product to harm people.

The refrigerator is beautiful. It is top of the line and I would seriously recommend that to other consumers like me. It has so much space and storage, so great! The size is perfect for holding a lot of stuff. The storage is crazy. It is really light and moveable, just in case you move. Youll be surprised the difference in a picture and real life. The appearance of this refrigerator is great. Its so shiny you can see yourself from it. Its slick and hot, I cant get over the look. You have to get this! The value is a lot. Depends on how you use it and take care of it. Make sure you dont make the value go down too low. I hope I am being helpful.

Love my Kenmore. Had it for 6 years now, never had any issues with it. Works great. I would definitely recommend a Kenmore to any one who asked. Got my at Sears for a good price. The next time when I get ready to buy a new refrigerator I will definitely go to Sears to check out the latest models the Kenmore have on the market and check into their extended warranties plus free delivery.

We have a 5 year old Kenmore refrigerator and twice in the past 4 months the water line thats attached to the fridge has developed a crack lengthwise along the line causing extensive flooding in our house since we werent home either time it happened. Our plumber has ruled out any problem with the connector that connects the line to the external water supply braided hose. The plumber is convinced that Sears received a bad batch of 1/4 lines when they assembled these units.

I like that the outer appearance is coated with stainless steel painted over with extra durable acrylic paint. The value of the refrigerator is something that has exceeded my expectations greatly. I didnt expect my refrigerator to last as long as it has now, but it hasnt shown one sign of breaking down, or even needing maintenance.

Paid $2300 for this Sears Kenmore elite refrigerator and less than 3 years old its total junk. Stopped working!! Had 5 different guys out to diagnose and fix it and all 5 appliance repair people said they cant fix it! Sears is the bottom of the barrel with quality anymore. Including their craftsman tools that are no longer made in America. CRAFTSMAN TOOLS ARE ALL MADE IN CHINA! That’s right, Sears has sold out to China (and their prices are still the highest). Never ever again will I ever even step into another Sears store! That’s how I feel after getting ripped off on this refrigerator! This week I have to go out and buy another refrigerator and take the $2300 loss!

The refrigerator was good and kept my food cool. I liked how spacious it was also. I am pleased with what I spent and what I got. I was able to put something in and 20 minutes later it would be chilled to where I can be refreshed from a hot day. I absolutely love the fact that this refrigerator is as big and spacious as it was. I was very pleased to be able to keep my food cool in a very large space to have thing organized and neat. The refrigerator looks very nice and I appreciate that it went well with my other appliances although it was a different brand. The color matched everything in my kitchen. The value is very good. I spent a little under a grand at a sale at Best Buy and ended up falling in love with this refrigerator. I was happy to spent such a decent price on something that lasts a long time.

Purchased new freezer in March of 2014. Reasonable installation, installers broke a small part which was replaced by Sears. I purchased extra hoppers for the door. All was OK until this winter when we had several power outages. After the second outage, the freezer stopped running. I called and spoke to a technician who directed me to reset the breakers on the electrical box. She said the freezer would come back on in awhile. It didnt, so I called for a service call which had to be scheduled some time much later than I needed. In the meantime, after a week or so, the freezer resumed working. All was OK again for about a week when the freezer stopped again. I went through the breaker box routine again with no results. However, two days later the freezer resumed running but only for an hour or so. (Are we having fun yet?) I have called again for a service call, again sometime in the future and have cleared out the freezer and turned it off with the interior dial. (I would pull the plug, but I cant reach it.) The consequences as you can imagine are the loss of the entire contents of the freezer and extreme stress to me.

Kenmore has always produced great products. If you were on a budget, this is the way to go. Very nice fridge for the price. The interior of the refrigerator is very spacious and drawer size was excellent. The cooling was very good and it kept a constant temperature, in the refrigerator and freezer. My personal choice for a freezer would be on the bottom. But the top freezer worked fine. It is just a matter of taste. But didn’t have an ice maker. My current washer and fryer are Kenmore too, and I’m very happy with them.

It was spacious, kept everything fresh at the right temperature. It never ran out of ice and the shelves were big enough for watermelons and gallons of milk. Everything was able to be organized effectively. The freezer could have been bigger but I love frozen pizza. It was very sleek and shiny. It definitely had a modern feel to it and I enjoyed the sleek design. It is the closest thing to a fridge from the future. The fridge is a very good value. For the type of refrigerator you get, it is very cheap. The materials it is made of feel expensive. I also couldnt find a better fridge for the price.

Much like the other reviews, I have had several problems with my refrigerator and lost a significant amount of food and money because of it. I spent all of last summer without a fridge because the technicians couldnt figure out that it was not the compressor (after 3 times coming to my house). It was some unit in the back that had burned and the coolant was leaking out. After paying over $500 to fix that, I am now waiting on hold for an hour because its not working again! It hasnt even been a year. And once again I lost food. I will not be purchasing from Kenmore or Sears again!

The Kenmore refrigerator has been one of the most amazing things I have ever bought. It is just as good now as it was the day I bought it. It keep everything nice and cold. Its very quiet sounding. I have four children and two adults in the home which means we have the need for a lot of things to be on hand and in the refrigerator at all times and this size works well for us. I purchased a Kenmore refrigerator with a bottom freezer in September 2017. Ive had the technician over twice already. The problems associated with this are loss of food; inconvenience and the mental stress I go through each time I call because I have to wait a minimum of seven (7) days for an appointment. When I complained to the customer service rep I was told that they only label appliances non functioning after FOUR visits.This is a very poor business model from a company whose main product is appliances. So here I am once again in the middle of summer with a refrigerator that is not sending cold air up from the freezer to the refrigerator so I dont even have cold water. Shameful. I would not recommend anyone purchase appliances from them unless they have a guarantee to have service in 24 hours from when the request is made. And yes! I did pay $241 for an extended coverage and the service still sucks.

I purchased a Kenmore Elite side by side refrigerator in December 2007 for over $1100 as well as other Kenmore appliances based on reputation and reliability reports. Just yesterday--about 3 1/2 years later--the temperature control went out. The technician said the main control board had gone out and required replacement: total parts & labor comes to $450, just less than half of the original cost. The refrigerator is no longer under warranty but it seems to me that a company such as Sears that claims to back up their products (e.g., Kenmore) would at least admit that this is a little unusual for a high end product. I complained that this is unacceptable to have such a major problem so soon. I requested that they adjust the cost of repair downward to something more reasonable but I got the normal scripted response that since it is not under warranty theres nothing they can do. At this point I will have to assume that if I ever purchase another Kenmore product (which I wont) then I will have to factor in the additional cost of an extended warranty at hundreds of dollars above and beyond the selling price of the product.

My Kenmore is the best refrigerator Ive ever owned. I bought it at a discount so the price was great. It is every efficient and has tons of room for all the groceries and any pre prepared food my family of five needs. After upgrading my refrigerator, Ive seen a significant difference in my electric bill even though this one has more space. It has an ice machine and water fountain which are a great convenience for kids. Moreover, temperature control is easy to customize. The stainless steel is beautiful and messy fingerprints are easy to clean off. Also, theres lots of room for all my kids artwork. It keeps my kitchen fashionable and stylish.
