Its wonderful. The ice comes out well and its always nice and cool. Best fridge ever. I would recommend it to anyone and probably everyone. Its huge and has enough space. I can fit a lot of groceries in each side.. And it never looks full. Its amazing. Just a lot of room. I have black and it fits well with all my kitchen interior. Its very very black and glossy. I love it. The value is good, I think its definitely worth its price.. Maybe could be a bit cheaper for reasons so people can afford it but Ive had it for years.

This fridge is the best one I have ever owned. It keeps everything cool and has a lot of room to put everything in. Its also quiet and not noisy as last fridges that I have owned. The size of this fridge is amazing. I can fit everything in there and still have lots of room left over. I keep cases of energy drinks in the fridge and they all fit. This fridge is a beauty to look at and it fits well in my kitchen. Its not an eyesore at all and could probably go in any kitchen no matter the decor. I bought this fridge at Best Buy and it was at a great price. I didnt think I would get such a good value but its worth every penny.

Purchased a Sears Kenmore refrigerator for $1300.00 and the gasket on fridge door and freezer door is faulty after 4 years. Cracked and pulled away from all 4 corners on freezer door and fridge door. I paid 300.00 for the extra warranty and it has expired 4 mos prior to my complaint. Service on the phone is 0, no call backs. Told me to purchase another warranty $. In the past I have purchased a number of LG Sears Kenmore appliances and had 100% good experience. The gasket is split-torn away and I can see the foam inner of the doors. Just install a new gasket or lose me forever as a customer.

I had a Kenmore refrigerator for over 25 years. It was the best one I have ever owned. Any Kenmore appliance will last for years. It is the best you will ever own if you purchase one. I never had to replace any parts or have any repairs done to it. It just kept working and working. It was big enough to hold anything I ever needed it to hold. Kenmore refrigerators may cost a bit more than other brands, but it is well worth the extra money because it will last what seems like an eternity.

The Kenmore refrigerator has a pull out freezer door. It has a lot of space and is easy to clean. There has been a couple quirks but nothing major and the warranty covers most of it. However, I would improve the placement of the freezing element. It ices up sometimes and has to be unthawed. I also wish the workers would explain the problems a little more and the solutions. They could be a little bit more timely also. But that is expected with anything and any situation. I have always used Kenmore products and wouldnt get another brand. Kenmore has met my expectations. They have good quality products and stay true to their word on warranty. Thank you for the service. I appreciate it. I am overall happy.

It is a fine appliance. I got no bad things to say about it. It keeps all my beer good and cold. When I want ice in my whiskey I have always got it ready to add to my glass. I kill my own meat most of the time and I never have to worry about my refrigerator going out on me and spoiling all of the deer meat, bear meat or any of my trout I catch out of the river because that would really piss me off. Nope no complaints on it yet anyway. Its going on 5 years old and it is like brand new.

My husband and I bought our Kenmore two door freezer drawer bottom stainless Steel refrigerator at Sears. Within a month we had a small rust spot in one of the doors. Soon after the plastic drawers and other pieces within the refrigerator began to break - this is just my husband and I using it. No children and no abuse. Kenmore used to be a good quality name but unfortunately it is now made with cheap thin plastic parts and alright it was their higher end model. It is falling apart! We feel like we were robbed. We will never buy another Kenmore product!

These refrigerators are dependable and reliable. They are efficient and run well. Would recommend. They have great space and the shelving is useful and easy to clean. Just soap and water and they seem to wash up well. The refrigerator I got was useful for the size. We have a four person family and it was adequate for the groceries that we get. Would recommend a larger size if one can manage. There is always use for more space. These refrigerators are streamline and nice to look at. They have an appearance that lets people know that the company takes pride in all they do. They are roomy and have nice placement of shelves. I happened to got my appliance at a great rate. I got it on sale at a retailer. It was a good value and a good price which influenced my purchase.

This is a amazing fridge with lots of goals you could complete with this baby. Its amazing and I would always recommend this to anyone. The size is just right and it fits well into the space I put it into. It also leaves some room where I can put anything. It looks high-tech and of course it is. It gives your food a good chill and gives you nice, cold water for hot summer days. If you loves high quality, buy this. The money you put in it is a lot, but worth it. It has a lot of features that any other boring, white fridge would not have. So the more money, the more worth.

It keeps really cool. Love the storage and its very quiet which is my favorite choice. Water filter seems to last a long time and I never had any leaks. but, it does not have much freezer space and seems too deep and it tends to lose food in it. Perfect fridge area and I love the movable shelves but I wish it had more door space on freezer door. Also, I love the black and the smudge proof. I cant see hand prints. Solid build and sturdy handles. It has shine and is easy to clean. Perfect size and width. Overall, it was well worth the cash I paid for it.

My Kenmore refrigerator lasted me a very long time. Had no problems with it. Didnt need a new one but I decided to upgrade to a newer one. Not because of problems but by my own choice.

I previously had Kenmore refrigerators for years, and I always was pleased with all of them. It had double doors and no ice maker, so there was plenty of room in the freezer. The shelves were movable, had three vegetable drawers and was easy to clean. However, the compressor went out and it was too expensive to fix it. Other than that I liked everything about it and I would still have it.

This Kenmore refrigerator is the loudest running Ive ever had and the freezer leaks water into bottom compartment. I am looking for a quiet running replacement at the present time.

Great refrigerator. Fits nicely and perfectly in the same space available in my pretty small kitchen without being in the way of other appliances and still opens perfectly. The only complaint is that sometimes the top shelf in the refrigerator part gets a little too cold causing things placed there to freeze and it only happens sometimes, so unsure if adjusting the temperature is the fix. The size is just right. It is not bulky and doesnt take up unnecessary space in my small kitchen mainly for looks, like other brands I have seen. It fits the minimal amount of groceries I actually do store and is perfect for my takeout leftovers and beverages. I suppose if I wasnt single and had a need for a family fridge, it might not be the best fit since there really isnt too much extra storage space/shelving/drawers. The appearance is nothing special... just plain off-white regular looking refrigerator. I think there is nothing fancy about it. I think if the color was a little crisper white I would like it better, as now it looks a slight bit yellow in color. I did not purchase this refrigerator, it came with my apartment which I rent. If I did have to buy my own refrigerator, and since it is a pricey, longtime purchase, I would probably shop around for a nicer model, with better features for the purpose of having a nice, upgraded, and useful longtime purchase.

It easy to keep fingerprints at bay and to keep looking fresh and new. Kenmore is a great name for appliances and this refrigerator keeps up to that name and promise. For the price this is an outstanding fridge.

The freezer kept everything very cold, didnt have a problem with it over freezing, and refrigerator was perfect in temperature, easy to adjust and keep clean. I chose this model because it was the perfect size for my apartment. It was the perfect height. I could easily store canisters atop. I would recommend this model. Black was a great color choice. The color was sleek, easy to clean, the color compliments all finishes in kitchen, easily stands out, at the same time does not overwhelmed with black color. I think large appliances are expensive overall, at the same time this was a great value for the size, model and color, easy to resale and hold the original value paid.

The performance of this refrigerator is outstanding. Its the best fridge out there, in my opinion. I really recommend you to get this. Just make sure you get the right one! The size of my refrigerator is crazy. There is so much storage. The size blew me away the first time I saw it. Just be careful now it looks a lot bigger than it shows in its picture, so dont be fooled thinking its small. The appearance of my refrigerator is great! Its so shiny you can see your own reflection. The perceived value is outstanding. The price is just right and the overall quality is 100%. This is my opinion by the way so dont go off what I say about the value, I hope I had great advice.

I bought a narrow depth Kenmore Elite refrigerator in 2004. It was a $2200 fridge because of its size. I removed all of the shelves to clean it last night. It has little cracks all over the back, inside wall! Why would this happen? Is there a recall?

Our KENMORE ELITE refrigerator is just 2 years old and we already need a new fan/controller. The technician said they (Lg) reprogramed the control board, which is now causing ice build-up around our fan, but we the consumer have to pay for it...way to run a company. NEVER buy a Kenmore product. Our old refrigerator (Frigidaire or GE...) was 15-20 yrs old and we didnt have any issues. Too bad that new technology is getting worse.

I purchased a Sears refrigerator in late August 2010. Of course, it is a Kenmore product. I had my fridge for 22 months in working order. I paid $1,355.98 and for a fridge to last that long is ridiculous! The compressor went in my fridge, which had to be faulty or a lemon. Im a single mother and that is a lot of money for me to come up with. Unfortunately, I never purchased the extended warranty which at the time was close to $300.00. I lost $200.00 at least of food in my fridge and to repair my fridge will cost me $400.00 for the part and $300.00 for the service. Unbelievable that Kenmore and anyone working at Sears can stand behind this product and actually write on their invoice, The brands you want at the store you trust. I contacted the service center and the store I purchased at. They would not do anything to compensate for this or even meet me halfway on the part, I would have considered repairing it. So, its GE product for me from now on. I will never purchase anything from Sears again. If I bought a $20.00 clothing item and it ripped, I would definitely have no problem bringing it back. But a large appliance after 22 months of purchase and for no one to seem to care at Sears blows my mind!

I purchased a Kenmore side by side refrigerator approx. 5 yrs ago and has been very reliable and has exceeded all my expectations. The versatility of the shelves both in the door and in the freezer and refrigerator can adapt to all situations that have come up.

I purchased a $2000 Kenmore 3-door bottom fridge, Model# 79571304012, manufacture date of 2011.12. About 3 months after the warranty ran out, we noticed a loud noise coming from the freezer. We noticed a large ice buildup along the back wall. We knocked it off and the noise stopped. That lasted for a couple of weeks. The noise was back along with the ice buildup. Tried this a few more times over the next month or two. Then, the noise got really loud and we noticed that the freezer wasnt cooling properly. We then noted that after the ice was removed once again, the freezer was doing okay, but the refrigerator was getting warm. Well, by the next day, we lost all of our food and it was not working at all. We called a repairman and he charged us $250 to remove the door and replace some part. Now, one year later, it has started this same cycle - DO NOT BUY THIS! It is roomy and nice, but this has been a headache!!!

It came with the house. Ive had several Kenmores before this one and they always have the same problem. The ice maker freezes up at least once a week and needs to be taken apart, fixed and put back. If we can put people into space I now understand why Kenmore cant make an ice maker that works properly. I had an LG that had a wonderful ice maker but it wont fit into the fridge space in this home.

The stainless steel finish is such a sleek look! Easy to wipe clean and leaves no fingerprints. The interior is bright and easy to keep clean. It wipes clean very easily with a damp. Love the easy access to be able to get the ice, either crushed or cubed choices. Or cold water option as well. The price of this model is in comparison to other models and brands of its kind. This model is efficient in its performance and does all that is needed in a refrigerator. It is beautiful to look at and very easy to access the items that are stored into it.

The freezer works great; it doesnt cause freezer burn. My last refrigerator gave off a bad smell when being defrosted and cleaned. This particular model does not. Would recommend for any home. Im happy with the size of the fridge. Dont want anything too big or too small. A thick, obtrusive fridge can cause space issues in a small kitchen. This fridge does not. Its silver and has a shiny metal gloss finish. It is easier to clean than the other white model refrigerators. The compartments are conveniently located where one can reach and does not cause an issue for me. The price is fair for the quality of the product. I bought this particular model on sale at my local mall. You can probably find it for a good reasonable price online but you may have to pay more for shipping.

Do NOT buy a Kenmore Elite refrigerator from Sears. We purchased one in 2011. It broke down in September due to a failure of the refrigerant system, but Sears has been unwilling and unable to repair it. They stalled us, made us wait weeks for repairs, lied to us and finally tricked us into believing our warranty was not with them. They told us the warranty was with the manufacturer, LG. This, we found out, was a lie. It is now November and we have no refrigerator and Sears refuses to stand behind their product. They said their hands are tied. This was an expensive appliance and should not have had problems after only 4 years. That said, Sears has made it impossible with their 3 week appointment windows for repairs, never having the right parts, not showing up for appointments, excuses, and then deceiving us with their warranty story. All with no apologies for the time and trouble. We bought this Kenmore refrigerator in good faith, thinking it was the best we could get. Sears is NOT the same company that it used to be and we are done with them.

This product was worth more than I can explain. I cannot put a value on it. When we sold the house, the buyers could not believe that we had this refrigerator as long as we did and the condition of the refrigerator. I dont remember the Refrigerators size as this was many years ago. However, there were my husband, myself and four children. I shopped for food on a weekly basis and always had enough space to food for a family of six. This Refrigerator was side by side with an ice maker. It had a vegetable bin as well as a bin for fresh fruits. We did not have to worry about ice as there was always ice available. I recommend this product to anyone. We never had down time and it was still working after 10 years of service. I dont remember what we paid for it, but we got our moneys worth.

I called customer service three times and they said they could not find record of my name or purchase after my husband and I have purchased many appliances from Sears. Got this refrigerator brand new. It broke down after only 2 years. It took the guy 3 times to fix it partly because I dont think they knew what they were doing. Now the strip that supposed to keep the doors closed and the cold air in is coming off so if I dont keep checking it the food in my freezer starts melting.

The ice maker jams frequently. All of the shelves on the door have broken. Stuff stays cold. The shelves are easily removable for cleaning. We have a large eight member family and this refrigerator easily fits all of our groceries for the week. I do wish that some of the shelves were taller so that we could stand up more gallons of milk, salad dressings, etc. We have the black model. It hides scratches and dings that come with normal family life well. It fits well into the space in our cabinets. We have owned this refrigerator for 8 years now. It has never had to be repaired. Given the price we paid for it we definitely feel as though we have gotten our money worth.

This sears refrigerator has served us very well for 30 years. Only problem is that we have repaired icemaker twice in 30 years! The repair man who fixed the ice maker told us they dont make them like this anymore. Very satisfactory refrig.

The refrigerator is big enough to store and freeze lots of food and makes ice also. I can find what I am looking for with ease. The drawers hold a good amount of food that stays fresh for a very long time. I freeze a lot of food that’s fresh for the winter months and I can find what I need, when I need it. We usually have a good bit of leftovers and I am confident that they stay fresh for at least a couple of weeks. I would highly recommend a Kenmore due to the ease and reliability of the refrigerator. The ice maker is fabulous because my family loves ice with most of the beverages they consume.

Large freezer, able to fit several weeks of food, helpful for large families. Indoor ice maker and water, extremely nice feature. City water was filtered without an extra system being installed. And no extra freezer space taken up by trays. Large deep freezer drawers for extra storage. Adjustable containers in door made it easier for more storage in the main fridge. Allowing for bulky items such as milk or pitchers to be stored in the doors. Cleaning was simple, with parts all being removable. Parts dismantled and reassembled easily. Large and bulky making delivery difficult. However, replacement parts were expensive. Also, no color choices other than white were available.

The refrigerator worked fine. I can pack a fridge and then just turn up higher so everything gets to preferred temperature. If it is cold enough, I may turn it down a little, but I prefer my milk very cold. Its white, rectangular, had fridge door and freezer door. Keeps my food cold and stuff fresh. Being a chef I like my stuff at the right temperature and it is a valuable piece of appliance that I need in my house.

We had a Sears store close by for many years and usually purchased all of our appliances from them. The line of appliances was fairly wide and there were adequate choices to make a decision for the model we desired. The Kenmore refrigerator was spacious in capacity, had good produce space and I liked the ice and water dispenser options that it offered. However, I was disappointed in the performance of this refrigerator because it broke down after only 2 years and then I could not get immediate service for it. Serviceman came, but then didnt have parts for a repair even though we gave a full description of what part had failed before the serviceman came. We would not repurchase a Kenmore refrigerator.

I purchased a side-by-side Kenmore Elite refrigerator about 4 1/2 years ago. About 2 months ago the refrigerator portion stopped working. A repairman was called and I was told the evaporator had gone bad and there was no way to repair it as the part is no longer made and a new refrigerator/freezer needed to be purchased. After calling Sears and looking online to try and find the part myself I am now looking for a new refrigerator/freezer, but not a Kenmore or Kenmore Elite even though I have been a decades long customer. The customer service person was very unfriendly and I would think that a fridge should last longer than four and a half years!! From reading many reviews, it seems the lifespan of a refrigerator now is about 7 years?? That is ridiculous!! And there is such overlap between manufacturers - lots of homework required which is frustrating!! Like to stick to American made, but it seems that regardless, there is just a lot of junk out there. Seems that customer satisfaction, high quality and reputation are not valued. Frustrating for sure!

Im very happy with the Kenmore refrigerator. I have owned it for many years and its great on performance, its energy efficient, and it keeps food very fresh and cold. It is standard size and quite roomy on the inside, but if you are like me, you always need that extra bit of space and I wish it was just a tad larger, so I will step up next time. Its quite nice-looking for an average refrigerator, but does not have all the bells and whistles of newer, fancier models, like the chrome finish and water attachment in front. Its a very good value and as good in comparison to newer, more stylish models.

Its ok and satisfied with this refrigerator. It works great and has all that I want. Ample storage space for refrigerator and freezing purposes. Also good space on doors for condiments and large sized bottles for beverages and soda. Great exteriors and stainless steel is easy to maintain and easy to clean and polish and keep it up like new and easy to wipe the stains and finger spots. It was not overly expensive and was well within budget, plus we got some incentives with this purchase, so it was a great value when combined with the incentives.

I chose the Kenmore refrigerator because of the price. It was on sale, so it was affordable for me at the time. It was white, so it matched my other kitchen appliances. It was large enough for my large family and it fit the space I had. I liked the easy access to things on the shelves and was easy to adjust the temperature for the refrigerator and the freezer compartment. The drawers were nice and large enough to put a lot of things in them as well. I had a top freezer on the one I had. But I would prefer a bottom freezer because I accessed the refrigerator section much more often. I didnt like bending down to get to the thing on the bottom shelves.

It was a great brand. Kept my food in good condition, had an very quick and efficient ice maker and very much space. I shop a lot sometimes so a refrigerator with a lot of space is very well needed. It lasted me a long time. I had insurance and warranty on the one that I purchased. Ive never had a problem with it. I would definitely recommend others to buy Kenmore!

I purchased a Kenmore Elite French door refrigerator in 2014. It has all of the bells and whistles! The refrigerator stop cooling/freezing completely two days ago in middle of an event that I was hosting! I had to different repair companies to come out. Recommendations: buy another refrigerator! The system is loosing Freon in different places and it will cost almost a thousand dollars to fix, with no guarantee that it will last very long! This is absolutely disgusting! I see that there are many other cases in the last 3 years that are the same as mine. There should be a class action lawsuit!

Kenmore refrigerators are one of the best around. They keep my food cool and hold over for some time. I remember the lights went out and when they came back on we still had great quality food. My refrigerator is an average size refrigerator. Even though it is not a big refrigerator it still meet my needs with space and etc. I have no regrets with getting this refrigerator and I hope that I will be able to deal with Kenmore again soon as far as brands. My refrigerator is black and medium size built. It has great handles and sturdy shelves. It also have a great sturdy structure with the containers down at the bottom. The refrigerator is an overall great value. At the time I was buying it I was on a budget and needed something that supplied my needs without costing me a lot of money.

I purchased a Kenmore refrigerator and other Kenmore appliances when remodeling my kitchen in 2010. The shelves in the refrigerator door are very thin plastic and Ive had to replace both shelves now. The cost is $48.00 per shelf. I think that it is unacceptable. It is just not well designed. It also takes too long to get the replacement parts. I am not a satisfied customer and the parts customer service person I spoke to only said shed make a note in my file.

I purchased my Kenmore Pro refrigerator manufactured by LG in July 2018. It failed completely in May 2020. When the warranty repair company finally (after a 2 week wait) came and replaced the compressor, the new compressor did not work either. And I have to wait another 2 weeks for a repair of the repair. I am disgusted with both LG and the warranty services company that gives zero priority to customers whose repairs have failed.It is a hollow action when representatives of LG provide these “copy and paste” pro forma responses here. What LG needs to do is provide the real resources in a timely manner needed to fix these continuing failures, including to providers of service programs that consumers purchased when they bought refrigerators with these compressors, and to sellers of refrigerators that bear nameplates other than LG but were nevertheless built by LG using these faulty compressors. If others reading this are as annoyed and discouraged as I am, they may want to search on the internet using terms such as “class action lawsuit” and LG compressors and/or refrigerators.

It was good until it had to be replaced. It was one of my first refrigerators and it was nothing fancy. I got a side by side refrigerator the next time I got one but this one worked for many many years. It was a little small but still fully functional and it didnt take up too much space which is always good to have. I liked the big freezer personally because I eat a lot of frozen foods. Plain and white but clean and simple is how I would describe it. It had a good place to place magnets on the front and it wasnt nice enough that you were afraid of damaging it. I dont think I could have sold it to someone even in a garage sale but it served our purposes well which was primarily to keep our food cold or chilled.

My fridge does exactly what I bought it for. Keeps my food cold and my freezer stuff frozen. Overall it does a perfect job for me. The size of my refrigerator is perfect for a family like mine. After shopping trips we still have plenty of room left over after putting our groceries in it. This is for a family of 6 too. The appearance of our fridge is great. Its easy to clean and looks great in our kitchen. For the value of this fridge, Id have to say it was a great value for what we got it for. Definitely great value and a must-have for everyone.

I love the Kenmore products. The size of the refrigerator is just right with plenty of room to store all of your food supplies without worrying that you wont have enough room to put them. You couldnt ask for a better product. Fits perfect in my space of the old fridge. The outside of the fridge has a beautiful silver texture, which is easy to clean just by wiping with a damp cloth. This is the most easy cleaning fridge I ever owned. The value of this product is well worth what I paid for it. I have no regrets in purchasing this item. I would say that Kenmore has really outdone itself.

I bought a Kenmore Elite refrigerator 3 1/2 years ago for $1500. Within the first few weeks, the motherboard went out. The repair guy said that it was a good thing it was on warranty because a new one would have been $900. Three plus years later, the seal system died. Compressor, good; motherboard, good; motor, good. Cooling, nada. Called Sears. Im not under warranty. They want $99 to diagnose and couldnt be there for 3 days. Called another local repair with a great reputation. He checked it out, diagnosed the problem and said they should cover the seals for five years, but, even if they picked up the cost of the parts (what a warranty would do), it would still be $1200 to repair. Another repair company confirmed. He suggested I call Kenmore directly. That is impossible. You get routed back to Sears. I used to count on Kenmore for all my appliances. No more. What a piece of junk.

Our two year old Kenmore refrigerator/freezer is inexplicably not working. We came home from work and threw out hundreds of dollars of wasted food. Looking to correct the issue, we set up an appointment and the technician was set to come between 1pm-5pm. We called customer service several times to get an accurate time as it was nearing 5. No show. The customer service was awful. They were very unhelpful and “had no way to find out when the technician would be there and he would be there in his very reasonable time frame”. He did not come in his anything other than reasonable time frame. We were told we will need to reschedule for the following day because missing out on income and waiting for four hours is easy to do...again. So very disappointed in Sears and their lack of customer courtesy, the fact that there is no accountability in standing behind their products, and their complete disregard for dealing with issues. It was difficult at best to contact and talk to anyone and when we did, we were met with even more inconvenience and extremely poor customer service. I would also have to say I’m disappointed in Kenmore as well. I expected something just shy of $3,000 to work longer than two years. Although I hope it’s a simple fix, it’s really hard to tell since we can’t get someone from Sears here to fix it. Yet they want to make sure we pay for their service in full...I will never shop Sears or Kenmore again. Not surprised that Sears can’t keep their stores open. Very sad considering in the past it was such a reputable place to shop.

Very good fridge. Lasted like ten years. I was very impressed. I never had any major problems with it. As a matter of fact I ended up buying a new one because I moved not because the other one quit or broke. I gave it to a buddy of mine and actually Im pretty sure hes still using it to this very day. So thumbs up - great product, great company, great fridge. I felt that the refrigerator had sufficient room. Im a single individual so didnt need a whole of room to begin with but for any type of party or gathering always seemed to have room. My fridge was pretty standard looking for the outside but the inside had a very sleek design. When others would open it you always get an o wow.

Very useful for me and my family with our day to day needs in the kitchen. Keeps our food fresh longer with the compartment space with its self temperature setting zones. Love the air filters design and the roll draw in the freezer. Oh the showcase door is awesome too.

It is a very good product. It looks shiny and stylish. It is slim. Not bulky like others, yet it contains many space for storage. The freezer side have plenty of space and many adjustments for the temperature. It is a totally worth product.

This refrigerator was a replacement for a previous one that I had. The performance of the refrigerator is amazing. A lot better than the previous refrigerator that I had. I feel like this refrigerator is a good size. Its not too small to fit all of my food and produces into it. I like that this refrigerator doesnt take up that much space in my kitchen. It takes up the appropriate amount. It makes my kitchen look sophisticated and modern. I feel like it really compliments the appliances in my kitchen. I think that this is a good color to have in a kitchen. Its not too flashy or dull. I really value this refrigerator. I would hate to see this refrigerator go. I would say this refrigerator is a lot better than other models that I have seen on the market far as durability.

When the long-experienced service tech could no longer fix our previous GE, we discussed options. He suggested Kenmore, with as few bells and whistles as necessary, because those need repairs more than the refrigeration system. Extensive research bore out this opinion, and we settled on a Kenmore that has worked flawlessly despite frequent power outages in our area. We lost no frozen food after a 2-day outage. We do not miss the extra luxury features. It has enough room for a family of 4 with different dietary and beverage preferences, and all the holiday food for guests is accessible without a lot of searching on the shelves. The veggie and fruit bins slide easily, and the shelves can be adjusted as needed. Six years running (!), we have not had to call our beloved repairman.

We made the horrible mistake of buying all Kenmore Elite appliances at Sears in April of 2015. The nightmare started with the delivery of some of our appliances where we were literally stood up by the delivery service on 3 different occasions, no call, no show... My husband and I were both working freelance jobs at the time. If we dont work, we dont get paid, so you can imagine how frustrating it was when we had to repeatedly take time off for these clowns to grace us with their presence, only to have them not even have the courtesy to call and cancel. They have zero respect for their customers. We had issues with our washer machine a month after purchasing it and now our $2500 Kenmore Elite refrigerator has suddenly stopped working. To kick it up a notch, a technician was supposed to come today to diagnose the issue for $99, but surprise, no call, no show. He was supposed to arrive between 3pm-6pm, so I again took off of work and waited around all day. At one point I logged into my appointment page and saw they had pushed his arrival window to between 6:45pm and 8:45pm. Knowing them and their horrid track record, I even called to make sure he was still going to come today and explained how I had taken off of work and couldnt take another day off, etc. The woman on the phone supposedly put me on hold while she called my technician to confirm and then told me he was definitely still coming and would call me when he was on his way... He never called. Later on I checked my email and at 7pm they emailed me to say my appointment had now been cancelled and rescheduled for Monday. I called them right away to ream them out and the best they could do for my inconvenience was give me 20% off on whatever the cost of the service will be. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM SEARS. I could write a novel on the hell they have put us through. They DO NOT CARE about their customers and their products are complete garbage. Even their own repairman, that fixed our washer machine, told me their products are cheaply made in Korea and to stay away from them and LG (which is who makes Kenmore appliances)! Its sad because they used to be a good, dependable company, but they are nothing but con artists now.

Kenmore Elite Refrigerator - I have owned this refrigerator for less than 2 years and it had stopped working. It took 2 weeks for Sears to even be able to come out to look at it. He diagnosed it was the compressor and another 2 weeks for the part to arrive and be replaced. He came back out and replaced the compressor. That night the refrigerator never got colder than 60°. I am currently waiting another week for them to return to look at it again at which point it will probably take another 2 weeks to order another part and install it. I am looking to see if there are any lawsuits against Sears ad obviously these are faulty parts on their refrigerators. And I am extremely disappointed to find out that it is an LG brand refrigerator under Kenmores name. So very unhappy.

My husband and I had been newlyweds at the time and we shopped according to the price seeing as we had been raising a young family. My Kenmore refrigerator was reliable, but I suppose there could have been better storage on the door. The bottom storage drawers often became off track and the suction on the door was not strong. Unfortunately this appliance had been lost in a fire. We replaced it and would purchase a Kenmore if the opportunity should arise.

Kenmore Coldspot Model 106.51129212 - The water recapture bay for the ice maker, that is integrated into the freezer door has no drainage. It was difficult to remove, and seems to be poorly designed. The ice maker takes up much of the storage space on the freezer door. The refrigerator shelving adjustment options are poorly designed as well. After owning Kenmore refrigerator products for over 40 years, My overall experience with this model has been disappointing.

It keeps the food nice and cold, is not loud. It is the right size for my kitchen and doesnt take up too much space. The INSIDE of the fridge is a good size and has a lot of drawers to put away produce and groceries in. The appearance is sleek and polished and goes well with the overall aesthetic of my kitchen. I enjoy it a lot and it doesnt stand out too much but does being a nice flair to the kitchen as well. I bought it for a few hundred dollars and its definitely worth the price. Im happy with the purchase and I would strongly recommend it to anyone who is considering buying a new fridge.

Kenmore was a brand that I like and was at a convenient location that was easy to load and bring to my house. I have purchased before that I liked the style and type of. The refrigerator style was what I wanted, size was what would fit and the color fit my kitchen. However, the Price I paid for the unit was more than what the other brands of similar type were priced at. I also wish it had some other features in it. Other than that, was good purchase.

We purchased a Kenmore side-by-side refrigerator with the ice maker and water dispenser in the door and freezer on bottom in 2006. Within less than a year, we had to have the ice maker fixed. A year after that, we had the same problem--we had to pay for it then. After spending $2200+ for the refrigerator, you should not have to buy an extended warranty. The water filter for the refrigerator costs $50 and I was told the ice maker wont work unless its been replaced. Now the whole thing may have burned up had my husband not been home. The light had not been turning off after the door closed (we had never changed the original bulbs), which caused the plastic around the lights to melt an bubbled the plastic on the refrigerator above it.

I thoroughly enjoy owning a Kenmore refrigerator. It has worked very well for me for a long time and has had no problems. I would definitely recommend to others having a Kenmore refrigerator.

I bought it in 2000. Its the best investment I ever made. It has room for everything – eggs, sodas, even fruits and veggies and the freezer can hold a whooping 300 dollars worth of meats. Kenmore is simply the best there is on the market. The size of it is simply great, for all my needs. It has compartments for just about everything you can imagine and the freezer can hold a half a cow in meat portions and it is so quiet when its on. You dont even hear the motor running. My old fridge kept me up most nights with all the noise it used to make (thank God for Kenmore). It comes in a variety of colors, any color you want, and it is easy to clean. Just wipe it off with a wet rag or sponge. Color to match every decor. Youre really getting more value for your buck with the Kenmore line of product. They are built to last. Like the Energizer bunny they keep going and going.

If you think you are buying a TRUE Kenmore product you are not. If you buy a refrigerator you are buying an LG refrigerator. Read the reviews on LG made products before you buy one. They are abysmal. I have a 4 year old Kenmore Elite refrigerator, made by LG, that has been out for over 3 weeks. Sears will not replace it and so far they havent been able to fix it. Terrible customer service and a subcontractor technician who is actually a part changer. They dont come out to fix the refrigerator but to troubleshoot and order parts they think might be the problem. What a joke. After 3 techs and numerous parts ordered and installed I still have no refrigerator. The latest possible fix date is the 26th of July. The refrigerator failed on the 25th of June.

I was so excited to get my Brand New refrigerator with cool outer snack door. However, my excitement was short lived. Not only was the unit small on the inside. But the snack door would not stay closed unless pushed hard. But the water drips constantly from the ice maker and water dispenser gets stuck and continues to flow water even after you remove your cup. That was just week 1. Now it has stopped making ice or freezing now. I opened the back of the unit to clean it and found the coils were packed with Styrofoam. They were NEVER removed by the installers. I paid $2500 for a Kenmore... Come to find out KENMORE IS A FACADE... REAL MAKER IS LG. Needless to say Kenmore brand is dead. It is no longer a quality name. For a fridge to last less than 3 years is a sign. This is not the first review I see where Kenmore lasted 2 years or less. BUYERS BEWARE!

I bought what I THOUGHT was a top of the line fridge called the Kenmore Elite but it seems that Sears forgot that elite means best and not worst. Just after 3 years the compressor died. It took 3 weeks to get the tech out so I had to buy a temp fridge. Cost me over $600 to fix. I have come to learn they are being sued for knowing about the bad compressors and selling them anyway. Has excellent coolant, nice ice water/water dispenser and ice dispenser. It is one of the top names also. Beautifully laid out and easy to put things in. It is very dependable and the quality is great as well. You will find this brand to last forever and love the ice maker and water maker. The appearance is very beautiful. It is easy to clean and shine it up and it is just a very attractive refrigerator. The value was excellent for I had shopped around a lot and this was the best value for what I was looking for. You will enjoy this refrigerator very much.

Worked for a very long time. Only reason I got a new was because we moved and it was too small. We got another one just like it except bigger. It was fine for a couple. Once we had our children we needed a bigger one. We love our fridge and would never want to even try another brand. Why fix whats not broke. Very stylish. They gave us plenty of colors to choose from so you can find any color to match your kitchen. I love the stainless steel. It looks sleek and professional. You get what you pay for. Some can be a little bit pricey but in the long run it is definitely worth it. I am very picky on what I pay for so Im glad I found one worth the money.

Bought Kenmore Elite French door model # 74093 in Dec 2014 for new house. In May 2015 it started making a fan noise, so I called for service under our Sears protection plan. 6 weeks, 3 parts, 5 service calls, and a dead refrigerator. I called Sears Service and demanded a replacement. This is when it really got crazy. They told me that the Sears Appliance Center was not really Sears and I had to deal with them directly because their policies might be different than the real Sears. SERIOUSLY?? Yep, I was told that the Sears Warranty staff that I was dealing with couldnt help me, and I had to go back to the Sears Appliance Center I bought the (now dead) refrigerator from; it is a franchise store. I bought Kenmore because I assumed the Sears name was my guarantee of satisfaction. I should have been informed about this distinction, because I could have gone to a real Sears store instead. SEARS on the storefront, employees wear Sears shirts, Sears receipt, Sears warranty and service agreement... but not really Sears.

Have a Kenmore side-by-side since 1999. Purchased from Sears locally. Purchase and renew the service agreement for it since appliances are large, expensive, and important. In 15 years, we have had the unit serviced twice. The first time was to replace/fix something in the ice maker which is a wonderful luxury feature, easy fix. The second time, the only issue was dust underneath the unit causing coils to malfunction. Tech cleaned it out, super easy fix, completely my fault. Please clean out underneath your fridge at least yearly. The quick and short of it is, my Kenmore unit has been rock solid for 15 years and is still running steady. Kenmore, good stuff.

No issues or service calls. I have just realized that it has performed for 15 years. It is frost free and has traveled from Georgia to Alabama and continue to work well. This refrigerator has a 20 cubic foot capacity, with adjustable shelves for taller or shorter containers, two vegetable bins, a dehydrator with adjustable temperature levels, an ice maker and plenty of room in the freezer compartment. The appearance is a non smooth finish that does not receive fingerprints and two separate compartments, one for the freezer and one for the regular stuff. It looks great and works great. The value of this refrigerator has been superior to the quality of products on the market now. I know of people who have replaced refrigerators and have had them less time than I have had mine.

It was a refrigerator worth what I paid for it. Bought it 7 years ago and havent had any problems with it. Thinking of upgrading to a side-by-side and will definitely be a Kenmore. We bought this model when all the kids left home and fits our needs, but since couponing will be upgrading for a bigger freezer. Really like the big shelf space and size of door space. Definitely recommend. I like that this model doesnt take up a whole lot of space. When we bought it we lived in a mobile home and didnt have a lot of kitchen space so this particular model was perfect size. This refrigerator was not really expensive and that was a major factor when selecting it, besides size. We have had it for seven years and never any problems so very well worth the price, and I look to get about one third of what I paid when I go to sell it.

Its clean, plain, and kind of boring. But I like that its white because it makes the kitchen bright. Its easy to wash, but ugly without kids pictures on it! But as far as functioning it was fine and it keeps my food cold. The price for this fridge was considerably cheap. Size-wise, its a great refrigerator. I could fit a whole pizza box in it (unlike my side by side refrigerator now), and has lots of door storage. The downside to it being so spacious is that things get lost, and unfortunately, end up going bad.

Kenmore is the house brand for Sears and were proud to supported the store. My husband and I worked there and got a nice ten percent discount. I enjoy having filtered water that supplies my awesome ice maker & water dispenser in the door. Beautiful glass-like shelves shine like diamonds. Although, the ice maker has a fragile which has to be handled with great care. Also, it frightens me almost every night when the ice maker makes a very loud sound as it drops a load of ice into its bin. I do appreciate though that the ice maker quickly replenishes the ice intake as soon as some come out from the dispenser. Arm to turn it off & on. The repairman replaced a motor/part in the door & left it hanging loose.

We bought a Kenmore fridge, model 61205, we wanted something big, without an ice maker and easy for the kids to get their own snacks. When they brought it home we waited the 24 hrs till it was ready to use. I disconnected the old fridge, moved it out of the way for the new one, when I plugged the new fridge it wouldnt cool, took over 2 hours to start blowing cold in the fridge, the freezer worked just fine but I was scared all the food would go bad so I took everything out again to the old fridge and called Sears. They will be bringing in a new one and hopefully its not a thing with all of them.

Had no problem, kept food cold and good. I live on a military base and they gave us a great refrigerator. I would recommend it to my family and friends! It had a lot of space, and I loved the crispers and the way that you could control the temperature of the refrigerator.

My parents bought Kenmore from Sears so when I needed a fridge I went to Sears and bought the same name brand. It was really the main brand that Sears sold so that is where they took me. It was a good fridge for the price. The fridge looked good and the exterior was easy to keep clean. It was durable, lasted a very long time and took a beating and managed to look good. Moreover, I liked the removable shelves for easy cleaning. However, the main shelves were not easy to remove or change. When something spilled in inside, it would often go down the back where I could not see it and pool underneath the crisper containers. In addition, some of the larger items did not fit well in the fridge.

Never had any problems. It was spacious, economical, and affordable. There was a good warranty on it and I loved the water and ice dispenser that was built into it. My first college apartment had a Kenmore fridge and even though it was part of a rental and was very old, it still worked very well. My parents also have a Kenmore and have no complaints.

Kenmore came in the house we bought. I would purchase it in the future though. We are about to start looking for a new home soon and I am hoping to upgrade all appliances in the home. This is a product I will definitely consider if the home does not already come with upgraded appliances. There are a lot of things that are great about this fridge. I like that the doors are side by side and the amount of space in the doors. However, we have a family of five. While I like that it is not bulky I always want more space. But that would be true for any refrigerator. I always need more storage in the freezer so we have always had to own two refrigerators. I have looked at the refrigerators that are not side by side and have the bottom compartment for freezer space but I dont like have to pile items on top of one another. This is also true for freezers found above the fridge. With the doors side by side it makes it easier for organisation. I also think its easier to find products and to grab them quickly. So for everything I need in a fridge this one hits all the marks and is the best you can get for the circumstance. Overall, I would definitely recommend it to someone. Its a great product!

Compressor broke within 2 yrs. Still under warranty but almost 2 months now and still not fixed. Had us wait all day to come out to fix and then called after 5 and told us we had to reschedule. Finally showed up and found they ordered wrong part. Gotta wait again. Thank God we could borrow my sons old old fridge otherwise we would be completely WITHOUT a fridge. Sears told us to notify our insurance company for loss of use!! Thought I was buying quality product but all we got was a high priced cheaply made refrigerator and very very poor customer service. And they are very aware of this problem but not seeing any recalls. Never again Sears! Kenmore! LG!

After reporting the glass in my year old Kenmore Elite refrigerator exploded. This is a serious safety concern. Buyer beware!! The only thing they would say is warranty is up really??? This is a hazardous product to have in your home. Customer service was terrible. I have many pictures. I will no longer purchase Kenmore appliances.

Kenmore is a well known brand and been around for s long time. It has met my initial expectations but it is a little noisy when the ice maker is making and dispensing ice. I compared it to Samsung before my purchase and in the end the lower price swayed my decision. It has a good amount of storage room in the freezer and the ice maker always keeps us in full supply. I appreciate the clear movable shelves which give me the opportunity to change the configuration based on what I have in the refrigerator. But while the overall dimensions are 26 cubic feet I would like more storage in the freezer. The space is good, but would like it to be a little wider. Also the in-door pantry is good, but again not as spacious as I would like.

My Kenmore fridge performed very well. It is always quiet and is very energy efficient. I would recommend this fridge to anyone that needs a reliable fridge. The Kenmore fridge was a bit on the small side for my size of family but is the right size for other families. It fits everything that it needs to. I got it at Sears with good financing and I pay it off monthly. Its stainless steel and its beautiful. I love side by side doors. It was worth every penny. I love my Kenmore refrigerator. It is over 10 years old and still working like brand new. My frozen stuff stays at the perfect temperature and I do not have to defrost it which is an added bonus. And my ice machine works great because we go through a lot of ice here in Texas. The refrigerator works great too. The vegetable drawer keeps all my vegetable really crisp for a lot longer than the GE refrigerator I had previously. It was also a good value and I do not see having to purchase a new refrigerator in the near future. Also I still have not needed to have it serviced but I know if I do that the customer and repair would be as good as the refrigerator.

I bought my Kenmore Refrigerator a while back and it is still in good shape. When I bought it, I didnt want to spend a lot and so I chose this one. The fridge is white and while I am not really picky with colors, you will be able to notice the dirtiness quickly if you tend to spill things. Also, we are a family of 6 so we tend to buy a lot. The normal side where you put eggs and milk is okay. The space is big and you can put a lot of things there. But, I believe the freezer side is too small. Nevertheless, everything we buy fits.

I had purchased a Kenmore fridge in June 2012, took delivery in December 2012 and began using it then. After using it for 1 month, I emptied it, turned it off for 4 months and went on vacation. Returned back and turned the fridge on with no issues. I was advised to leave the fridge running while we were on another trip in January 2014 but found that our fridges compressor had failed during our 2 month absence. I am guessing it failed early after I left, because when I returned on March 20, 2014, I found some of the items in the fridge had spoiled. In all, this fridge was only in operation for less than 11 months theoretically, and possibly only 9 months. The fridge now runs constantly and wont keep cold. The designated Kenmore neighborhood repair guy said its the compressor thats shot, the motor runs, the compressor doesnt get cold. Sears wont stand behind it because it exceeded its one year warranty, according to the calendar. Since Sears and Kenmore are not willing to stand behind their product. It is my intent to inform others of this issue with my fridge.

We never had any problems with the performance of the refrigerator. It always kept things at the right temperature. The ice maker worked great with no problems. The shelves were sturdy and easy to clean. It was more than able to fit everything we needed. The freezer looked like it would be small from the outside, but it had plenty of storage space. The fridge was huge and had plenty of shelf and door space. We had the white color refrigerator. It would have looked sleeker in stainless steel. It doesnt look as nice as a side by side freezer/fridge, but its a refrigerator and not a decoration. The utility of the fridge made up for the appearance. The refrigerator was not cheap, but it also wasnt top of the line. I feel it was worth the money we paid for it. We never had to do any repairs or maintenance. If you buy cheaper appliances, you end up paying more in repairs. So this fridge was worth the slightly higher price.

I have had my fridge for over 8 years now and it still works the same! It is great. I wish that the shelving was more durable and the door shelves were stronger but overall it has kept my food cold.

Mine lasted over 10 years. Never serviced, had ice maker and in door water. If you are buying a fridge you need to check Sears. It is not as popular as it was a few years ago but they do and always have made great appliances. The refrigerator has adjustable shelves and 3 drawers. Some of the shelves could slide out and repositioned. The freezer side held all I needed it to hold and the ice maker did not take up too much room. Ours was in between 2 walls, so it looked built in. Had smooth finish and easy to clean... was on rollers and it could be pulled out easily. You get what you pay for and the price was less expensive than other makes and models. It gave great service with no issues for the years we had it. I would say it is a great value.

We have owned this refrigerator for 9 years and never had a problem! The icemaker and water dispenser work great! I like the side by side. It is very handy. The only problem is with the side shelves. 2 have broken. I guess the plastic isnt very good! The size is a great size and holds everything. My next refrigerator would be the same brand but have more durable shelves on the side. I love the appearance. It wont show hand prints like others that I have seen and owned. I like how the ice and water compartment looks. It is hard to keep the bottom dry clean. Refrigerators are crazy expensive. This one was average price for what we wanted. I would definitely recommend this brand and this design. It has worked great for our family.

Fridge died after just 7 years. The compressor only has a 10-year warranty but when the compressor goes out it causes other damage that costs in the thousands to repair so warranty is worthless. Repairs cost as much as the new fridge; ELITE line.

Our Kenmore bottom freezer fridge cost $1700 and the dreaded LG compressor quit cooling in less than 3 years. Purchased Oct. 2017 and quit cooling July 2020. Opened the fridge and water from ice went all over the floor. Fridge and freezer were both way above correct temps. Had to throw out every thing. I noticed the compressor was VERY hot so I unplugged it until a repairman could look at it. Turned it on before he came and 3 hours later he said he could have fried an egg on it. And that it needed a new compressor and was the LG brand made for Kenmore and known to have this compressor problem. Very disappointing as my previous Kenmore fridge lasted 25+ years.
