Several years ago when we first purchased Kenmore devices they were reliable and the service was great. The past few years the devices have not been as good quality wise or service wise. The last dryer we purchased was just dumped off and not properly installed. We had to go back to the store and complain before the job was done correctly.

We have had both our washer and dryer for over 10 years. They are worry-free appliances with consistent high performance. I would definitely recommend Kenmore products. Very reliable. Able to wash and dry a large volume of clothes at one time. Attractive looking and hard working. The appliance size fits in nicely in our laundry area. They are also very easy to use and pretty quiet to use. Both the washer and dryer were very affordable and I would not hesitate to purchase a Kenmore product in the future. We have had no service issues ever aside from ordering replacement pieces. The appliances are over 10 years old and are used constantly!

This dryer may cost some money but it is worth it. I havent had a problem with it in 3 years and I got it second hand so its even older than 3 years. We use this dryer every day and it is reliable. It still works wonders for drying my familys clothes and I havent had any complications thus far. We have the white one and it looks very classy. It is also quiet and a very nice size dryer. You can fit lots of clothes in one load.

We like that it is a frontload washer and dryer. Also, you can stack the washer and dryer if you chose to. The amount of detergent we save is amazing. Kenmore is a name that you can depend on. We havent had any problems with either the washer or dryer.

You cannot go wrong with this purchase. Never have had to call for maintenance. Uses minimal detergent and water, easy to use for anybody, even my 12-year-old son. These are some of the most reliable washer and dryer sets I have ever owned. The buttons are easy to push and the writing on the front is easy to see. They are very sleek and smooth. The fronts are easy to read and operate. There are no knobs that you will have to try to turn and it is self-explanatory on how to run these two fantastic machines. They are a little more expensive than what you can find on the market, but when you take into consideration the costs of repair they are worth it in the long run.

I received my washer and dryer last year and I love everything about them. Drying time is quick, washing is a breeze. I love these products and I would recommend to family and friends. My washer and dryer are very reliable, I have no complaints about either of them. The dryer dries perfectly and the washer washes beautifully. My washer and dryer are both white, the knobs are at the top on the washer, the dryer is a front loading machine. They complement my laundry room very well, and I love these products. It was a great purchase. The perceived value is 600 for the pair, it was a good deal for the pair and I havent had any complaints about them. Its a great value for the money. Before I bought these Kenmore Elite Front Loaders, I had the Maytag Neptunes. Best washer & dryer Ive ever owned. Now with these Kenmores, quite a different story. No matter the type of products you use, your clothes still come out looking dingy & dirty.

I have had the same wash dryer for almost 10 years, they both still work great! I also grew up using the same name of appliances. The Kenmore products have always been used in my home. And I would recommend Kenmore any day.

We bought a Kenmore Connect washer and dryer almost 2 years ago. The washing machine is pure awful. Stains remain, odors continue even after washing. I would absolutely not advise this washing machine. Ive cleaned the drain compartment and the machine more often than recommended. These dirty clothes continue to come out of this waste of money washing machine. Ive tried different HE formulated detergents. No effect. Ive used the prewash and extra rinse cycles with the heavy duty cycle with no improvement. The flip-flop motion used to clean the clothes is a waste of electricity, water and the 2, yes, two-hour cycle. Weve replaced this useless washing machine with a Speed Queen washer. 25 minute long heavy duty cycle pumps out the truly clean clothes. Please do not waste your money on a Kenmore Connect, unless of course you like stains and stink on your clean clothes.

My Kenmore washer cleans clothes well. Its a powerful machine. I got the washer and dryer at the same time, but the dryer died after a year. Washer is still going strong. The washer has a large capacity. Even with a central agitator, my comforter still fits fine. My washer is still working perfectly after a year. The dryer didnt last this long. Both the Kenmore washer and dryer look as they are supposed to. They are white, rectangular, and narrow enough to fit in my tiny laundry room. I am satisfied by the value of my Kenmore washer because it still works as well as the day I got it.

I have always used Kenmore washers and dryers as they come with great warranties and are a great product you can trust. I have had both gas and electric dryers. I had trouble going to public laundry facilities as the washers and dryers were never any good and sometimes had to rewash as they were not even clean, you will never have this problem with a Kenmore. You can choose from top loading or front loading and very stylish washers and dryers (even stainless steel), all sizes and capacities for all of your needs, you just cannot go wrong when you choose Kenmore. This is my choice of reliable washers and dryers and they are made by a trusted company which believes in their products and stands behind them which is something not everyone does nowadays.

After 52 years of great performing Maytag sets, we decided to buy into the HE type washer. The $1400.00 combined price for the Kenmore Elite top-of-the-line set was an immediate disaster (Jan.1911). From day one, both the washer AND the dryer left clothes with a nasty odor. We wiped the washer dry, left washer and dryer doors open when finished, tried bleach, vinegar, baking soda, Tide and Affresh washing machine cleaners to no avail, for (3) years.Fortunately, we bought the extended warranty for the washer ONLY and after the first year, the clutch went out. Then we had the infamous recall to fix spinning problems which resulted in increasing an already unbearable cycle time. Service Calls could not help with the odor situation and we could no longer put up with barely washed and dried smelly laundry and pitched a brand new beautiful looking washer and dryer set out the door. Replaced with a wonderful Speed Queen, American-made set.

For 35 years I have purchased Kenmore washers/dryers for 3 households and have been very satisfied. Last week I bought Kenmore model 23102 washer and am very dissatisfied. 1. Warm water is COLD. Cold water is cold as it should be; hot water is hot as it should be. 2. Water fills EXCRUCIATINGLY SLOW. 3. One day after delivery I called for service; was told had to wait 4 days. Why would Sears not prioritize immediate service on a new delivery? So I waited 4 days, then waited 3 hours (taking off work) for technician to come. First he doesnt know where to look on the machine for the serial and model number. Then he finds it and starts to diagnose the washer. He immediately tells me this model WILL NOT FILL ANY FASTER-this is how it is designed, and that the WARM setting is just as it is. I say my other Kenmore that was just replaced gave WARM water that was warmer than cold and not as hot as hot. He tells me this model does not work that way. Essentially hes saying THERE IS NO WARM WATER TEMPERATURE. He says it works on a thermostat vs. older models mixed cold and hot water. He goes to his truck and comes back with a thermometer of some kind. He tests the warm water, then drops it in the water which killed it, so he couldnt actually verify the difference between the temperatures, but BOTTOM LINE HE SAYS THERE IS NOTHING THAT CAN BE DONE TO GET WARM WATER. Then he says this IS the warm setting in Florida, which is nonsense, because WARM on the previous washer and 2 other washers I have access to in friends homes, give WARM water. I AM VERY UNHAPPY AND CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS MACHINE OR SEARS.

After washing my dark clothing (no towels or other fuzzy items) they continue to be left with lint, soap or some other residue. Upon instructions from an authorized Kenmore repairman I was told to cut my detergent down to 1 Tsp (small) to 1 Tbl (large). My loads are of medium size but I still only used ONE TEASPOON of HE detergent. No change. Still showing signs of lint/soap on my dark clothes. Again, upon instructions from authorized Kenmore repairman I ran a complete load of darks only WITHOUT ANY DETERGENT AT ALL. The dark clothes from that load again show sign of lint, soap or something else remaining. When now reading reviews for Kenmore washers this seems to be a recurring problem. Wish I had read them first or I never would have purchased this Sears Kenmore Washer Model 25132411. Will someone take responsibility and find out why my new washer is not cleaning my clothes properly?

I have always bought Kenmore. They are very reliable. Love mine very much. I had one for over thirty years or more ran perfect. I had two very messy girls that loved to play house outside. They made mud pies. Needless to say they became very dirty. My washer and dryer ran all the time. Very reliable machine. I ran mine everyday. My kids and husband changed their clothes two to three times a day. My ex did concrete, work my kids were just messy. I would never buy any other brand. I just cannot say enough how reliable this is both washer and dryers are. Mine are white with blue around the knobs. They are an awesome pair of machinery. They run day after day with no issues at all. I would never consider any other brand. They are affordable and in this day of bloated prices on crappy machine. Price wise they are perfect. They are awesome. We need a decent price on things we use daily along with they run so well they give you years of use.

My husband purchased me a new Sears Kenmore Elite washer and dryer combination 2 years ago and I am very dissatisfied. Even he has become dissatisfied with the washer. With a full or 1/2 load the washer continues to go off track (UE) and when I reset the washer and think that its about finished, it replenishes with water. This is the worst washer machine ever. I will not purchase another.

Very efficient drying clothes no matter how much clothes are inside. Lint was easy to remove after drying clothes also. It also had plenty of space for clothes. Very durable, never had heating element go out or any other issues. I had a warranty on the dryer but never had to use it. I think it was very good at drying clothes. Dryer was white in color and front loading for adding clothes to it. It has a see through door which you can watch your clothes dry. It has also a metal frame For the price of the dryer I feel it has had great value and last a very long time. I feel its a great dryer with nice features for anyone to use.

It was efficient for the price. My washer and dryer worked fine and I am pleased with them. It worked well with cleaning my clothes and drying them efficiently. The appearance is white. One is a top loader and the dryer is a front loader. They are small enough to be kept in the utility room.

Nothing beats a Kenmore for durability and reliability. I got my dryer over 17 years ago, and have not needed one single service call on it. It may not be quite as efficient as it once was, but what is? When I put my clothes in and press the shart button, I know without a doubt that it will start and run. I never have to worry that this is the day for it to break down. Also, it has a good appearance. Finally, considering what I originally paid for it and how long Ive had it, Id say its been an amazing value. I can only hope all my appliances would last this long.

My dryer is easy to use. It has a dial to turn to what setting the dryer needs to be on for your load of clothing. It is simple to use. It is a straightforward dryer. I dont like the lint trap because if it gets overly full the material will drop down into the machine, and the material is hard to get out of the dryer. Currently I need to clean the lint out of the machine because the dryer is not drying as effectively, and that is my only complaint about the dryer. Otherwise it is a great dryer.

It was very easy to use, and clothes truly have no wrinkles. Large loads even dry extremely well, as do thicker fabrics, such as rugs or towels. Its capacity is more impressive than previous dryers, I was able to completely and efficiently dry my familys towels and washrags in one load. It looks sleek, and its simple color goes with any house aesthetic youre going for. It isnt a big eyesore either. It goes with anything. The price I paid for the dryer made me think that it would be a nice dryer, but it has exceeded my expectations. If I had known it would perform this well, I would have no issues paying more for it.

I own the unit that is the washer and the dryer stacked on top (It is all one piece). The washer becomes unbalanced frequently and shakes the whole room. I have to stop it and move the clothing around until I get it balanced. The clothes come out of the dryer very wrinkled. I have tried all different settings, fabric softener and things that you can put in the dryer; but the clothes are still very wrinkled and have to be ironed. I wish I had not bought this appliance.

Cleans great. Washes and extracts perfectly. I have used the dryer for less time and clothes come out very clean. I would recommend. Great value/great price. The large load fits a lot of clothes. It keeps up with my household of two men, one teen and one female. And football uniform items. Few washes a day and never lets me down. It is not a fancy front loader but I prefer the top loads. It has everything I need and is a very nice washer. It is simple but what I need. The price was excellent. Great value for a great washer. It is one of the cheaper styles but like I said it has everything I need for a great price.

I had my washer & dryer for over 20 years and it performed well for me during those years. The only reason I preferred to get rid of them was because I had a major flood in my home and both of them were involved in the flood waters. I decided not to take a chance on them and gave them away.

Well built and lasted us 15 years and we bought the washer and dryer used. Never had a problem. Always washed clothes clean and the dryer dried clothes very quickly. I would recommend the Kenmore brand to my friends and family.

My Kenmore clothes dryer is built like a tank! I bought it over twenty years ago and it still works like a champ. Sears sells and services them. I highly recommend Kenmore appliances.

It heats really well. Ive had it for over 12 years now. It is fairly quiet. I love the value of the dryer. It was very affordable. Capacity and energy efficiency is what I will look for when this dryer plays out. Id like to purchase something that is really energy efficient and very compact and nice looking with all the bells and whistles. I would not buy another dryer that requires regular repairs. Any dryer that I purchase must be of high quality even if it is without the bells and whistles. It really heats well. It is fairly quiet and it was an excellent price. It is a full size model - very basic looking nothing fancy to look at but it is a workhorse. The light has gone out in it but it still works as if it was new. Ive only had it cleaned once since I had it.

Top-notch. Has worked very well without problems and we feel that we have been very lucky. Easy to use as long as follow instructions and do not overload with too many clothes. We have followed the instructions very carefully and because of that we have been lucky and can count the problems we have had on one hand. Has been very reliable on a consistent basis. It is very plain looking, not too much to make it any different than any other washer or dryer. Easy to get into and get clothes out. Value has been incredible as we have only had to use service people a few times. Price we paid so long ago would be impossible to replace for half the price we paid.

I bought the front load washer and dryer. They are both large capacity machines which is great. However the washer begins molding within the first few uses unless we leave the door open after use. It also collects coins, hair clips and a wide variety of items in the pump and lines which caused its replacement the first year. Will never purchase another front load washer. The Dryer has been wonderful, but we have had to replace the heating coils after two years. Dries a large load very quickly though.

It was very useful. I liked the amount of power it had. It dried my clothes quickly. However, it made my house very hot. Every time I went upstairs, I could feel the heat from the dryer. Im not sure if it is the dryers problem or my own. It is reliable. It is not the best Ive ever had, but it is fine. I liked how it dried things very efficiently, but like I said before, Im not happy about how hot it made my house. It is quite attractive. It looks very modern and its the best-looking dryer Ive ever owned. I have other issues with it, but not appearance. The value is average. It is not the best, like many of the other features of this. However, I dont have a huge problem with it.

Weve had our Kenmore washer and dryer for about 6 years with only one minor problem. The handle of the dryer broke but was replaced by a service tech completely under the warranty. The washer has no issues. We have the stacked front loading models. I would purchase these again in a heartbeat and highly recommend Kenmore appliances.

The Kenmore Dryer gives you great options like permanent press - normal less dry, normal dry, more dry, it gives you auto dry - less dry. Also knit, delicate, timed dry, touch up air dry. It also has lint filter and a very loud buzzer so I know when my clothes are dry. I like all these features because its the best dryer Ive ever had. But it would be nice if had a front loader, so it doesnt hurt your back when youre bending down to load it. Also it would be nice if it had a fabric softener holder, so the fabrics wouldnt stick to your clothes and end up all over the house. I bought this because Kenmore has always been the most reliable and best brand that has came out to the stores for my family. Other brands that me and my family have purchased in the past the heating elements have burnt out, or the drums stop spinning which leads to extra cost for replacement parts, or resulting in buying a whole new dryer, and when I cant find parts, or someone to fix it.

Kenmore Elite Washing Machine - We received the recall notice, and even though we have experienced no issues with our washing machine since we purchased it several years ago, my husband called to schedule the service because it was a safety recall. The technician came out on February 8th and slowed the speed of the spin cycle on the bulky items selection. The first time I washed clothes after that, I had multiple UE (unbalanced error) and it actually took one cycle 2 hours and 45 minutes before I could finally get the clothes clean and rinsed somewhat, and then spun out and into the dryer. I tried several other cycles, selecting different spin speeds, and never could wash a load without standing around redistributing the clothes in the tub. My husband called again and they sent a different technician on February 18th, who ran diagnostics and said the tests showed nothing was wrong. He advised me on how to wash clothes - two of each item, large loads, etc. - and said there appeared to be nothing wrong after he ran a partial cycle with no clothes in the washer. He instructed me to let it finish and then he closed the ticket. Today, once again, all my weekly loads had UE multiple times during the cycles. My husband called Sears again and it will be two more weeks - now it will be March - before they can send another technician. The lady offered him a discount on a new washing machine if he wanted to replace this one! Needless to say, my advice is dont call and have the reprogramming done if you havent experienced the issues described in the recall notice.

Kenmore is a brand well spoken for. I was able to purchase the washer and dryer. The washer is an exceptional washer of clothes. The machines are easy to clean. If parts have to be replaced easy to find. I love the brand and the name is dependable and reliable. The representatives are knowledgeable and attentive to your needs in what type of appliance will work for you.

I could put a load of jeans in for anywhere between 35-40 minutes and the jeans would be completely dry. I absolutely loved this dryers performance. This dryer worked wonderfully especially when drying sweaters and jeans, usually I would put a load of 10 pair of jeans and two sweaters and set it on 35-40 minutes and bam! the whole load was dry. I loved how fast this dryer dried clothes. A white dryer top load, with two knobs, one for time setting and one knob for dryer load setting. There is a timer that goes off making a buzzer sound when the dryer is finished. The lint catcher is easily accessed from the top of the dryer. The value of this dryer is well worth the price I paid. I bought this dyer at a used electronics store for 150.00$, whereas in stores brand new they are priced around 300$ to 400$. If I had to buy the dryer brand new I most likely would.

When it worked, it was a fair washer. However, it seemed to be broke more than it worked. For that reason I made the choice to go with a different style as well as a different brand. I am happy with my choice. The same goes with the dryer. It would take hours upon hours to dry my clothes when it should have only taken one cycle, roughly an hour, it would take multiple cycles.

It dries clothes pretty fast which is nice. It is fairly quiet compared to most other dryers like Maytag and Whirlpool. It gets the job done. It is a fairly reliable dryer, and have had no issues so far. The lint trap does its job very well which makes the drying process happen quicker. Im not too worried about how it appears because it just sits in the garage. If it were inside the house then it would appear okay with the other things I own. I got it on sale which was nice. It makes a big difference when there are good promotions for things like this. I dont think I would have purchased it if it wasnt on sale.

I was mostly happy with my Kenmore washer & dryer. The best part was having the warranty so that when they had trouble I could get them repaired. The dryer belt did wear out a couple times, but that is par for the course I suppose.

I purchased my Kenmore Heavy-Duty washer and dryer set the next week available after I got married in Feb 1976 (seventy-six). That makes it about mid-March 1976. Here now in Jan 2020 I can truthfully say that I never had one speck of trouble from the set until now when the washer stopped draining. Having a Sears repairman respond to fix the problem revealed that it cannot be repaired. I must now try to find another Kenmore Washer. Admittedly, I did not use it on any routine regularity and once not used at all when in an apartment without a hookup for a couple years. But, I suspect I won't need it to last as many as 44 more years since I'm now 73 years old. It worked just great for me!

I have the set and the washer is fantastic. A part went out years ago and replaced it with no issues since. The dryer has had the thermostat and heating element changed and now something else has gone out and it will not run. But it ran great when it did. Other than my washer and dryer being clean in appearance, the overall shape, size and construct doesnt phase me and looks pretty consistent from one brands product to the other. I received mine as a gift from my mother, so in terms of value from the standpoint that it was a gift, the washer and dryer are badass.

Dryer was formerly owned. Was used previously for over 5 years and I have used it 4 plus years without any issues. Just clean lint trap after each use, occasionally vacuum lint from under lint trap and you are good to go.

No problems at all in 15 years including heating element which is the most common failure. Clothes are dried exceptionally well and lint free for the most part. We have used extensively. Would buy again. I would highly recommend and would replace in kind when needed. Great value considering competition and features actually used. Too many others have features never used and therefore useless for the money. More than adequate for my needs. A good bang for the buck and very reliable. We use several times a week with all clothes.

Got Kenmore washer and dryer used. They are great and have been very reliable for over 5 years now. They are white in color and very fashionable. Paint doesnt chip and very sharp looking. I couldnt be happier with their looks and performance. If I ever need another one, I would certainly get a Kenmore. I would recommend this brand to anyone.

In June 2010, I purchased a Kenmore front load washer and dryer, model #4027-2900. I understand they were made by LG. I have had nothing but trouble with this washing machine. About six months after I had the washing machine, the rinse water would not spin out and the repairman came out and changed a computer part. Then, I started getting brown streaks all over my clothes. They told me to clean the machine and I told them I did. They have been out several times and cannot give me an answer why this keeps happening. The last man told me to go to the store and get washer cleaner and keep putting it through the cycle until the machine is fully clean. I clean the machine several times a month. I do not get brown streaks on my clothes every wash. I have had Kenmore washers and dryers all my life and I have never had the problems with Kenmore like I have on this machine. The washer and dryer were $850 a piece. I have always bought Sears appliances but I will never buy another Kenmore appliance. This machine has ruined many of my clothes. If you dont catch the stains when the wash is done and you put them in the dryer, the stains are set. I had to throw away many of mine and my husbands clothes. I keep the door open and drain the water from the bottom. I wipe the ring down every time I use the machine. I clean the machine at least twice a month. No matter what I do, the stains still get on my clothes. The repairman said try and only fill the machine half full. I have done all these things and I still get the brown stains. Why get a maintenance agreement when they cant solve my problem?

Broke soon after warranty expired then started to leak. Just ended up replacing the unit with an LG. I will not buy Kenmore ever again. The washer started out working very well. Unfortunately the machine did not last as long as I hoped it would. The dryer has worked fine. The design and aesthetics of these machines is very pleasing and attractive. I have been very happy with the way these machines look. Since I just had to buy a new washer three years before I was planning I dont feel as if the value of the washer is that great considering.

Kenmore series100 - This washer just doesn’t get it done. Our first so called HE washer. The quality is poor. Too many plastic parts. The cleaning ability is abysmal. Even a small load comes out with lint and gunk not rinsed out. Whatever happened to old school washers? Why were they so bad that they don’t make them anymore? Our last machine was 25 years old before I repaired it myself. After 30 years the transmission gave up. Time for something new? Too bad! After 7 months the locking switch device malfunctioned. It was warranty and the repairman said, Get ready to buy another machine in 5 years. What a joke.

Kenmore is a brand you can trust. Dries and washes faster than most of the washers and dryers in that category. I am very happy with my washer and dryer choice. Best value for your money for this class of washer and dryer combo. The appearance of my washer and dryer combo looks great in the laundry room. Would highly recommend this combo pack. Thank you.

We bought our Kenmore washer and dryer several years ago and at the time, the combo set was very highly rated by Consumer Reports. As of this writing, they still perform well and have been doing a fine job these last few years. Occasionally, a stain my come after the wash (not sure how it occurs), but if you re-wash - the stain will come out. This is a rare occurrence, but most of the time the clothes come out of the wash fine and in good shape - also no issues with the dryer - these are stackable units and we do have them stacked to save space. There can be odors from time to time and one needs to clean out some fluid build-up from time to time to combat that, but there are directions on how to do that. Overall, very satisfied with both units.

I have owned my Kenmore for about 3 years now and it still run like it is brand new. My mother had used Kenmore while she was raise me and my brother and sisters. And she was very happy about it so it was kind of passed along to me. I will never change what type of washer and dryer machine I own. I am a customer for life.

The appearance was nice and the capacity is very large so you can get laundry done in a timely manner. Its energy efficient. It is a great value whatever price you pay and of high quality.

Drying one item doesnt work well in this dryer because the item keeps landing and getting caught on the filter vent by the door. I was not impressed with this washer. I went from using a regular washer to this and the clothes didnt come clean even on a small load. The washer barely filled with water and some of the clothes came out of the wash still having dry spots on them from where they didnt even get wet. This washer was not reliable because the clothes didnt get clean and some didnt even get wet. Not to mention that it takes over an hour to wash one load of laundry. The washer looked nice but it just didnt wash good. I sent it back after 3 days of use. The metal that the washer was made from also seemed kind of flimsy. I paid over a thousand dollars for the washer and dryer set and was very disappointed. It used very little water and didnt even cover the clothes leaving dry spots on some of the clothes from not agitating very well.

Both washing machine and dryer are very efficient and had lasted for a long time. We feel that they clean better and the electricity efficiency is one of the best in the market. In fact, when we had them replaced, we replaced them with the same brand.

This dryer works well. It is somewhat noisy, and the inside turned black around the circle air vents. It dries very well. Definitely a good investment. Ive had it about three years. Only if I put several pairs of heavy jeans in together do I have to add more heat. Otherwise its one heat cycle and Im assured everything is dry. Its not the sexiest looking dryer. Pretty old school, and very 1950s white, but it matches the rest of my appliances I inherited when I moved into the home. I purchased the dryer so I did have options. Reviews were good, so I went with it. Cant beat the price. I believe I paid under $450 with installation. Its a good investment. So far I havent had any problems. The value was a big selling point.

White with blue numbers. Paint has held up good and is dual vented so you can vent through the floor. Cost about the same as other dryers but seems to be more energy efficient. Electric bill is cheaper after purchasing this dryer.

I hate my Sears Kenmore Elite Washer and Dryer.The washer constantly goes off balance - even with small loads of two pairs of jeans and a polo shirt. I spread the clothes out at the beginning of a wash. On average, I have to stop the washer 2-3 times per load as it throws an error code because it is off balance. It finally broke down and decided to call Sears to schedule an appointment to have it looked at and repair it. The dryer also will not stop even if the clothes are brittle dry as it can only be set at 40 minutes. The representative asked if I also wanted that looked at. Obviously, I said, Yes. The appointment I maid was to be this Monday at 1pm - 5pm. I checked my email and one is at 8am - 12pm and the other is 1pm - 5pm. I am not sitting around all day waiting on Sears! I called to have both fixed between 1pm - 5pm. The representative said they cannot move the one to the afternoon. I asked for a supervisor but never got one even after calling back and waiting for more than 10 minutes listening to music.Boy wish I was strong enough to haul these back to Sears and leave them at their store. I only selected 1 star because there was no lesser option.

I love them! They have been so good. There are five people in my family, so we do a lot of laundry. I dont remember what we had before the ones we have now but I wouldnt go back! As of now we really havent had too many problems. One big one is sometimes the washing machine will get off balance and wont finish a load. We have to unplug and redo the load. Other than that they have been great. When I grow up Im going to buy my own Kenmore washer and dryer. If it was up to me I would suggest that everyone should get one.

Purchased a Kenmore Washer Top Loader 4 years ago. Needed replacing about 1 year ago but used it and tried to limp by as buying a new washer was not in the budget. However it soon became impossible to continue with this piece of equipment. It failed to spin and drain after the wash cycle. We finally had to give it up. Sometimes wed have to spin and drain 3 or 4 times to get the water out of the clothes and dryer ready. To fix this piece of junk it would be more cost effective to buy new. So today went out and had to do just that. We have other Sears appliances and theyre not much better. Dishwasher needed fixing after 2 years. Needed a new pump. I do not think Sears is making top notch equipment any longer. My first washer and dryer lasted well over 20 years. It was a Sears which was why we went with that brand again. I refuse to buy anymore appliances from Sears again. If you do have to buy, make sure you purchase an extended warranty at the time of purchase. YOU WILL NEED IT!!

My washer is quiet and reliable, completely and thoroughly cleansing even large loads in under an hour. The dryer has been less than perfect. After the first year, I had to replace the heating element -- a not terribly complicated or expensive repair -- but has not had a problem since. Overall, Im very satisfied with my Kenmore appliances.

The hubless model ties anything long (pants, shorts, sheets) into knots. Bought it for the price and water efficiency, but regret the hubless. De-wrinkling the tangled mess is a must by dryer or line dry plus iron.

We bought the Kenmore 600 series washing machine to go with our Kenmore dryer less than 6 months ago. I have resorted to washing things twice with two rinses each and it still does not clean worth a damn. On top of that we are using clear HD detergent and yet our clothes are coming out with white spots on them. Never buy Kenmore again.

In over 14 years of usage of approximately 4-5 loads per week, the door latch gizmo went out twice and the control panel twice. Washer washes really well. Being the HT model must not use too much detergent. Gas dryer dries great. Overall the brand (Kenmore) is not bad. I know there are newer ones out with lots of gadgets but Im not a fan of these. I need a few cycles to cover most typical usage and these are great for that.

Value of having a washer and dryer are you can wash clothes whenever you like and fold them whenever you get around to it. You dont have to go out to a laundromat and worry about having money. At home as long as you have laundry detergent you can wash.

Can I put a negative star above? I purchased Kenmore elite washer and dryers on 11/06. I had nothing but problems for five years from the main circuit board on washer, with codes that even Sears phone tech couldnt even identify. I replaced two water pumps on the washer from coins getting into the pump. Now, the dryer continues to beep when running. It will even flash times when it is not even being used. I have to unplug the dryer when we arent using it so it wont keep beeping. I will never buy another washer or dryer from Sears again. The old style washer and dryers are by far better and more long lasting than these two.

Ive never had any issues with Kenmore. It always does a good job drying - at times if I am drying a large item (like a comforter) I dry it twice. Its not fancy - but its got a simple and clean look and I like that. Its very simple with not many settings options - but its not ugly or old looking. We were looking for a budget dryer after having a more expensive one and having lots of issues with it. We feel like we get a ton of bang for our buck with our simple Kenmore. However, I wish it had more temperature options and more time options - maybe a fluff cycle. Overall its a good, sturdy and reliable dryer!
