I love this machine. This dryer is flexible to help me do everything I need it to do. The wrinkle guard feature is as good as an extra set of hands. There is nothing better than knowing that your garments are in the best of places to get dry. No matter what setting I use to get a variety of fabrics dry under the best of circumstances it drys my heavy jeans and towels to perfection. I can also rely on the machine to gently dry fine washables on gentle air, no heat cycles. My Kenmore appliance has brought us years of good service. And this machine has been with our family for a long time and it still looks like a modern dryer. I have no complaint about the wear and tear. It looks great and hides its age quite well. And I still find it to be quite energy efficient.

This washer is awful. Clothes dont smell clean and still have dirt on them no matter what detergent I use. Dryer gets my clothes and bedding dirty from the lint collector which does an awful job. I wouldnt recommend high heat with all the lint that gets past the screen. Horrible design... its a shame these companies cant make their products like they used to. More expensive and less reliable.

I bought this unit in November 2018. Within a week I k e I was not happy with it. I should have returned n.j dd it right away but really needed a washer/dryer. #1 it is extremely noisy. I call customer service and they sent somebody to come look at it. He even call the tech while he was here and let him listen. He ordered a new clutch ut. It didnt help and told me that is just the way it was. Then I realized just how user unfiendly it is. You have to start filling it, stop it to put detergent in, start again then stop to put clothes in. Then you have to pay attention to when the rinse cycle starts. Stop again to put the fabric softener in. If you dont catch it you are screwed and have to do a rinse and spin cycle!!! I hate this machine and will never buy another Kenmore! If I could sell it I would and get something else. Very unhappy customer. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS MACHINE!

My family has had and used it for many years and it still cleans our clothes as good as the time of purchase. No complaints on reliability. Im happy with the appearance. I have since learned of newer models that look a lot newer and sleeker, but at time of purchase it was exactly what we were looking for. I am very happy with the price. It was one of the only washers or dryer names that seemed to really make an effort to create a affordable and quality product.

Its very reliable. I havent had any problems with it. I also have the dryer too and it works great as well. The appearance is great. Even after Ive had it for so many years it still looks brand new. Its just overall a good brand and Im glad I bought it. Ive had other brands but theyve never worked as good. The price was great for what you are getting. The top load with no agitator has great capacity for my larger loads, including sheets and blankets. The problem is this... My stuff is NOT getting clean. It only lasted us about a year and quit on us. It should work longer than that. What a rip-off. I had a refrigerator from Hotpoint that lasted me 14 years. Why cant a dryer last that long? It was a simple washing machine. It did not have all the digital stuff on it, which is the way I like them. I dont like all of those digital stuff on it. That makes it complicated. Not a very good value if you pay all that money and it only works a year. I would expect a digital one to break easier but this was one of the simple ones with just knobs on it. It should not have stopped when it did.

Ive owned Kenmore machines for a very long time and Ive never had a problem with reliability. Any part that breaks down has always been able to be easily replaced. The appearance of my washing machine fits in nicely with my other modern appliances. It matches the look of my dryer, refrigerator and other appliances. My washing machine was a very good buy. I considered it to be quite cheap for the value. It has always been very reliable and well worth the money.

It was nice knowing it was time to get my clothes out. I hate wrinkles. When I had my Kenmore dryer it was constantly being used. I had 4 kids and 2 adults to do laundry for. The only time it didnt dry the way I wanted is when the lint trap was full. Sometimes I would have to dry towels twice; I have thick towels. My Kenmore was white all over. Front loading, easy open and easy close. The control panel was on top extension. It made a clicking noise as you turned the knob. Writing on the panel was black and if I remember correctly brown. It did show dirt easily, so I was constantly having to wipe it down. I honestly dont remember what I paid for it. I know that it was the best value at the time. I know that I never did regret getting it or the price I paid.

I purchased a kenmore elite washer and dryer approximately 15 months ago, with a 1 year warranty. And immediately this LE sign came up on the washer. I figured that it was way more technologically ahead than my prior machine so I figured I wasnt using right. The past 15 months my wife has had to run the clothes through the machine twice. Because they would wash then the machine would shut down right before the machine would start its final spin, the clothes would be loaded with water and require a 20 minute run to complete the process. I now had to find out the hard way that there was a serious issue with it and paid 400 dollars for an extra year warranty. On top of all this, Sears continues to take their sweet time and changing the service date.My prior machines lasted me 12 years. This washing machine was personally my worst investment. And the biggest waste of money, time and patience. And I will never purchase nor recommend kenmore to anyone!

We bought a Kenmore Connect washer and dryer almost 2 years ago. The washing machine is pure awful. Stains remain, odors continue even after washing. I would absolutely not advise this washing machine. Ive cleaned the drain compartment and the machine more often than recommended. These dirty clothes continue to come out of this waste of money washing machine. Ive tried different HE formulated detergents. No effect. Ive used the prewash and extra rinse cycles with the heavy duty cycle with no improvement. The flip-flop motion used to clean the clothes is a waste of electricity, water and the 2, yes, two-hour cycle. Weve replaced this useless washing machine with a Speed Queen washer. 25 minute long heavy duty cycle pumps out the truly clean clothes. Please do not waste your money on a Kenmore Connect, unless of course you like stains and stink on your clean clothes.

I used the machine a couple times and left six weeks later for Europe where I spend six months of the year. I returned six months later and the washing machine did not work... for the nine months that I had it, it did not work most of the time. We are two people in a household. Old machine but is reliable and gets the job done well. Ive been using Kenmore appliances for a few years now and have never been disappointed with its performance. I know that every time I use it my clothes will come out clean with almost no lint left on them. It also isnt as loud as other machines out there. Standard look, not an eyesore in any way but not fancy either, it has the simple yet efficient look of dependability. It is all white and easy to clean or wipe down if detergent is spilled on it, good size so doesnt take up too much space in the garage. I bought this maybe 4-5 years ago and it still is working as good as the first year of owning it. The newer models look nice and have more features, but if this one gives me 5+ more years, Im satisfied with the model I currently have.

This is definitely a brand I would recommend over Whirlpool which I have now. Kenmore products last longer and the clothes always seem cleaner. I had this washer for like 7 years and never had much problem with it. With the Whirlpool product I have now it seems like Ive called the repair company at least 8 times and I have only had the washer about 4 years. To me all washers look the same. Just some may be taller and a different color but what matters is how it performs on your clothes and if theres a warranty on the machine. The value of any washer/dryer is going to be expensive but the main thing is the performance it does on clothes and for me Kenmore products are definitely worth the value.

I had problems with the dryer from the moment it got it. I had to have it repaired 280.00 but since then I had worked perfectly. I only paid 225.00 and I got it with the washer.

August 2016 I went shopping at Sears. I specifically asked to stay away from LG. I know they had many problems and steered clear. The sale associate failed to tell me Kenmores were now made with LG parts. I had my fridge less then 2 years and the compressor and system has failed. It took me 10 days to get a repair guy to come out and 10 more days to schedule for the repair. I can get it under warranty however, I am told I have to pay labor. They obviously are charging me an arm and a leg for labor. I have a Kenmore 13 year old fridge and an old washer and dryer that have lasted. I wanted to stick with what I knew. However, now that they have LG parts you pay the extra money for a small name stuck on the outside of the fridge. I would NEVER buy a Kenmore again, and would recommend others do the same. You are getting an LG fridge. If you want LG they are cheaper with the same parts.

I havent had this for long, but I read some reviews and people recommended this and said it lasted them a long time also without any damages. My dryer was all white and I absolutely loved it. When I received it, nothing was damaged and everything worked perfectly fine. The all white is what appealed to me. The overall value was great. The dryer wasnt too expensive nor was it too cheap either. Usually cheap products get damaged quickly and easily. This was not the case.

I do believe it is reliable but have had some minor issues with it. Other than some minor issues it is great. I love the way it looks. That is one of the reasons that it was picked. It is a very good looking machine and would pick again solely on its appearance. The performance and other features are definitely more than what is on standard machines so the price is worth the value to me.

Weve had our Kenmore electric washer (top-loader) and dryer for approx. 15 years and have had excellent results with both, having had to have the dryer repaired once and the washer twice; none of the service calls were expensive or life-threatening for the appliances. We use them about 5 times a week and are so satisfied we recently purchased new ones to go in a new laundry room. This time to save money we got a front-loading washer and gas dryer. The old pair, still working perfectly, we gifted to a grandchild.

I had a service man come out one time when the inside rubber gasket tore, otherwise I've had no problems with it over the years. It has been very reliable. I leave the door open when I take the clothes out, even though I've never had moldy smell in my clothes. I usually wipe out the gasket (around the door) every so often, but not that often. The front paint ended up bubbling from spilled detergents over the years, but that's simply cosmetic. Those front panels are replaceable, but it doesn't bother me that much. I never thought this washer would be so good and last so long. Thanks Sears for a good quality appliance.

The second thing I most really enjoy and love about the dryer is that like a lot of other ones I had in the past, this one doesnt rock back and forth. I am very happy with my dryers performance. Reliability is so great. I am proud that if anything goes wrong with it, I can rely on customer services warranty. Fortunately I dont think Id ever need their warranty since the dryer is stable so far. I am very very satisfied with the appearance. Its like no other one I have had in the past. It tends to give off a pretty nice look/style unlike the past dryers I have had in the past. Value is great too. I had purchased it the day it was on a special clearance sale. I think I paid like $250, but it doesnt matter, It is definitely worth more than that price and I am glad I have finally found the dryer I was always looking for.

I had another washer and dryer but when I moved in to my residence this Kenmore was available inside my house. So I sold mine and kept the Kenmore because I thought it was better. I have kids who are into sports and band, and pets so I have several loads of clothes in a week usually and every day I have never been able to not rely on my Kenmore. I am overall satisfied and would not trade this brand for another brand. It has been greatly appreciated with our family. The appearance overall is the usual white and simple with not a lot of buttons which I like so I can teach my kids to use later on when they are older.

Microwave lightbulbs... requires 2... $35 a piece! Now the Elite bottom freezer refrigerator has died... 3 years and thousands of dollars later... same experience as everyone else here. No wonder Sears is going under. Customer service is HORRIBLE. Repairman finally came out and replaced the compressor... 2 days later and unit is not cooling enough. Now I have to go through this garbage again. Repairman said he has at least two of these repairs a day. Compressors are NO GOOD. STAY AWAY FROM KENMORE!!!

I purchased a Kenmore Elite Dryer from Sears at Southpark Mall, Strongsville, Ohio.This dryer was not cheap. Although I am very sorry I did not purchase the warranty plan. I did not, because in past years I never had trouble with Kenmore appliances.This dryer is so loud! I did call a few times to complain about it. I recommend that no one purchases this dryer. It has gotten to the point where it sounds like someone is beating it with a baseball bat! Unbearable. And finally it came to the point that I dont feel safe with it running. I am forced to purchase another new dryer! This one is only 5 yrs old now. This is a gas dryer and I am afraid of the thing actually blowing up in the house because the shaking and banging is so rough and loud. I feel it has already affected the gas line. Dont buy a Sears Kenmore Elite! An employee actually hung up on me 3 years ago when I complained about this dryer!This dryer is a safety issue in your home!

The washer is large enough too to wash what would normally be one and a half loads. I never had issues with either my washer or dryer. I have 3 teenagers who use the appliances also, and they pack it full but it also still work awesome. My washer is the common top fill and my dryer normal front fill. I do like that they are a little larger than the old school ones. The knob are easy to understand and push. I really paid a lot more than I would have if I bought it from Home Depot or Lowes. I bought it from rent a center but I appreciate them financing me so I guess it was economical.

I used them for at least another 5 years or so before I had to replace the dryer. I was so impressed with how long this set of washer and dryer lasted, that I ended up replacing them with newer models of Kenmore. I really liked that they cleaned my clothes well, dried them good and the products lasted so long! If they are good enough for my grandparents, then they are good enough for my family and I.

It has enough settings for my needs and I dont have any major complaints with the reliability of this dryer. I like the appearance of this dryer. It looks nice and the control panel isnt overwhelming with too many buttons and knobs to look at. I feel that this dryer was a good price and a good value. I am happy with the value of this dryer and would buy another one in the future.

This dryer is spacious and keeps the clothes wrinkle-free. There is an alarm that sounds when the load is dry. It runs quietly and efficiently. Its very reliable. This dryer has been a real workhorse, drying queen-sized comforters, large loads of bath towels and full loads of hockey equipment. Yet it still turns out a small load of delicates as fresh and wrinkle-free. It is pretty standard as far as appearances go. Its the typical white color and has just the right amount of knobs needed to give load options. This has been a great deal for the money. We have gotten a lot of use of this for years now and we plan to have many more years of service yet to go.

I like that I can change the settings for delicate clothing. One of the reasons I bought this dryer was the design. I needed a front loading washer and dryer for the design of my laundry room/bathroom. I have had many compliments on how they look. I started using this machine Oct 23, 2018 (the date we moved into our newly built home). We purchased an entire home full of appliances including the water softener from Sears. The washer worked ok for about 3 mos before I started calling service. Its still under the 1 yr warranty and I purchased the 3 yrs warranty too. At first they help you over the phone, too much deter, not HE, not the right kind of deter, too much fabric softener, cant use fabric softener, clean it with bleach, clean with vinegar, clean with A-Fresh, your water is too hard, its because you have a water softener, etc, etc! So far they have been here 6 times and their computer says, It is functioning fine and therefore there is nothing wrong with the machine. I ask, So I cant EXPECT to have clean clothes from a new wash machine? The store salesperson says, The tech makes the decision. The tech says, The machine is working fine, and refuses to take it apart to show me there is no stagnant, grimy water sitting in the bottom. This machine makes clothes 10x dirtier than before they went into it. Dont bother talking to corporate escalation dept (877-878-3687). They are well trained in giving you the runaround. One tech named Kyle is actually trying to solve this mystery of the lint-like, slimy, powdery, residue that gets onto (and is very difficult to get off) my clothes. I honestly dont recommend this washer or any other appliance that you may have to deal with Sears. Why cant people/businesses stand behind their products anymore? I bought this machine because in 2008 I purchased a Maytag Bravo that I thought was just like this one. I am told that the old motor was well built and that the government puts such high regulations on the HE washer that its not enough water to actually clean the clothes. If companies know this then why on earth are you selling this machine under the expectation that you will get clean clothes!? Id give the machine a negative 10 and the service department 1 out of 5. Id love for a manager or store owner to call me. Ive left messages on answering machines that say, We will call you back by the end of the day, and they NEVER call you back. I purchased mine in Mishawaka IN but the people Ive talked to on the 800 numbers are not from around this area.

It was totally reliable. However, it moved across the floor if I put too much in it. I had to sit on it to control the movement sometimes. It was a matching white pair that fit neatly into an alcove off the hall in front of the bathroom, so it was a convenient location, near the places wed be removing our dirty clothing. I do about 3 loads of laundry per day back to back and the clothes do not stick get stuck or anything. It also can hold a king size comforter which is great. The dryer is a white front loading dryer and the metal it is made out of is very durable. I have no complaints about it. The buttons are steel and the handle on it works very nice. The value I paid was worth it. I paid one hundred dollars for it on sale and I got a deal I think. It is well worth the money I have had it for two years and it works great.

This washer is promoted as a large load, energy-efficient design. If you put more than half a load the washer spins so out of control that it shakes my whole 2 story house. Then it starts the rinse cycle again and drains in an attempt to even out the load. One time I let it progress to 10 extra cycles until I could not take it anymore and had to unplug, empty clothes wet, ring out by hand and then put in the dryer. The fact there has not been a recall or a buyback program is a joke. Whatever engineer designed, tested and put this to market should be ashamed of themselves.

I even soak football and baseball uniforms overnight and wash the next day. I have never had a leak. I have had the dryer serviced once and the washer once. I like that my washer is top load and it has a separate compartment for bleach, fabric softener and detergent. The dryer is easy to keep the lint trap cleaned out. I hope they never stop working because they do not make them last like mine.

The dyer collects fluff and dust, a fire hazard under the filter. You need to vacuum the area when you remove the filter or the dryer fluff accumulates. So my washing machine is 1 year and one month and has totally died. There is nothing to do but spend more money. I have no more money. My previous washer and dryer lasted 20 years, with 3 kids. I hate Kenmore and will never buy anything from Sears ever again. This should not happen.

I have had this dryer for a few months and have had no problems. I normally only have to run the dryer once to get everything dry unless it is bedding. Mine sit right off my kitchen so appearance was important to me. Thankfully I was able to get a matching washer as well. They go well with my other appliances. Well worth the price. The new technology makes drying easier and faster. Now if they would just make something that folds my clothes and puts them away.

It was not at all dependable. When it did work you had to wash the clothes a second time as it did not always get them clean. It was so loud you thought it was an airplane taking off. It was just a regular top loading washer and a normal electric dryer. It was about 35 years ago when we had these units. It was nothing fancy. Just a basic top load model. Would not recommend the Kenmore brand at all. We just did not have good luck with purchasing their brands at all. We know other people who had good luck with them but for us unfortunately it was the total opposite.

Purchase a kenmore washer and dryer in september 2012 from sears. Today august 17 noticed rust forming around the perimeter of the bleach dispenser. First amazed that this should happen to a kenmore. Then after reading similar messages on the web, disappointed that Kenmore has not done anything to correct the problem. And by disavowing any responsibility for the issue under warranty, by doing this I have the impression that they knew of this issue some time ago. I will try and correct the problem but like many others have found.... rust never really goes away. May be the last time I buy a Kenmore and products from whatever manufacturer actually makes the machine. There was a time, if in nothing else, you could trust a Kenmore.

My washer and dryer work great. I do many large loads and they hold up to the wear and tear like champs. They have never let me down and I expect them to keep going for years. I have never had a single issue with either my washer or dryer. They run consistently and perform with the efficiency that I expect. I have a top load washer and a front load dryer. The controls are easy to use. The white finish is easy to maintain and has been looking good for their constant and heavy use. I bought my washer and dryer during a Black Friday sale and couldnt be happier with the price I paid. They are energy-efficient and continue to prove cost-effective with the money I save in utility costs.

I was happy with it. Its sleek mean dryin machine. I didnt buy the Ferrari model, more like the Honda Accord. It easily holds my large loads of wash and everything come out clean, never have to worry about stains! My dryer has many settings for a variety of items. I am always positive that my laundry will be dry, fluffy and wrinkle free. Our king size comes out just as fluffy and beautiful as a load of sheets. For the price I paid it is an amazing value. I run this thing like a racehorse almost every day of the week and it never lets me down. I know I can depend on my Kenmore washer.

It works great and efficiently. Have had no problems. Does what it should do and runs well. It also lasted a really long time. It can hold a lot of clothes. It is able to handle large clothing loads and it has lasted many years. It works well and runs as promised. No complaints, has not given me any trouble. Its a simple appearance. Nothing special just white and what you would expect a typical standard machine to look like. It wont impress you but it does the job. It was priced reasonably. You can get washer and dryers for less expensive but you may be compromising the quality of the machine. Sometimes it pays more to spend a little extra and get something that will last.

But it does leave soap residues sometimes, which kind of sucks. Its very simple and easy to use. All basic functions. Its basically load and select and start. Not very technical compared to others. Not a lot of buttons or knobs. Its worth it. Just like everything else, if you take care of it, it will last and be worth what its valued. It could be lowered since all these new and improved washers and dryers are coming out.
