The dryer works awesome. Clothes get dried really fast. Easy to run. Doesnt cost much to run. Looks great. I have it in my main floor bathroom. Not like the older days when you kept ugly washer and dryers down in the cellar so you didnt have to look at them. Dryer was very reliable. I used to set the timer and the clothes would be dry faster than most other dryers I have owned in the past. Also love all the settings on the dryer. Never have to guess on the time you need. Love the appearance of this dryer. I couldnt believe the price I got the set for. I havent seen anything come even close to the price I paid for my set. I shopped all over trying to find something even close to this set and everything I found were at least double the price.

I have owned Kenmore washers and dryers even appliances over the last 45 years and have never had any trouble. Or my laundry come out dirty. I moved and sold my old washer and dryer. I kick myself everyday for not bringing it with me but I had it for 15 years and thought it wouldnt make the trip. Why would you change your washing machine to the piece of crap I am stuck with until I can afford a new machine. Which I will research before I buy. Shame on you Kenmore.

We have never had any issues with our Kenmore refrigerator or our washer and dryer. Their products are very reliable. Technical support is always available and the products last a very long time. It fits everything that we need it to and space is never an issue. I have 3 kids so were always stocked up on food which is fresh and frozen. It looks very modern. Their products are always of a modern look and style. They definitely keep up with the times. The value is always more than worth it. The products hold up over time and I would match them up against any other on the market from fancy to run of the mill.

We purchased a Kenmore Elite front load washer and dryer in 2011. In the same year that the one-year warranty expired, the washer quit working. The Sears repairman informed us that the motherboard on the washer was bad. The cost to replace was just under $1,000 and it was not covered by warranty. A washer that costs $2,000 should last much longer than a year. The laws in most states impose a warranty of merchantability on sellers and manufacturers. If a seller puts an item on the market, it is required by law to make sure that the product is fit for its stated purpose. Now less than 10 months later, the brand new motherboard has failed again. I spoke with both the Sears and the Kenmore service representatives, who were polite. However, they were unable to offer anything satisfactory. Both offered a $320, 1-year warranty that covers repairs up to $500. Anything over $500 comes out of my pocket. Basically, a $180 benefit which is not a real benefit. I will probably sue Sears and Kenmore for the defective product to recover the purchase and repair expense. This has nothing to with their stated warranty, which is contract law. I definitely will not buy anything else from Sears or Kenmore until they improve their products and repair policy. I have seen many other similar complaints about this washer. It should have been recalled.

I needed something to clean my laundry, and at the time Kenmore is all I could afford because I have just moved to another State and I have never gotten another one since this has held up for about 6 years now, and they were used 5 years before we got the set. I hope they will hold up a lot longer. Just until I pay off some of my other bills, I will use this set as long as it holds up. The washer is a top loader, the dryer has the door on the front, and they both do the job I need them to do. I do about 8 loads a laundry every 2 weeks since there is only 2 of us in the household. They are good for the price we paid for them, and would get them from the same company again when we need to get another set. Hopefully I will not need them for a while.

Its easy to clean, runs quietly. Very durable, great value. Have owned for over 7 years. I would recommend this Kenmore if you are on a strict budget. Also energy efficient for me. The Kenmore does not require a lot of space. I have three people in my household including a 3 year old so there enough space for all the different items we refrigerate. I choose the white color to match any color and it fits well in my kitchen. Does not attract hardly any dust or lint. Easy to clean. Has sturdy door handles. Because its energy efficient I save on my monthly electric bill. Also my food stay fresher longer. All drinks get cool quick and stay cool so my grocery bill is manageable.

Very efficient and it saves money on my electric bill, but sometimes the drying sensor will stop the dryer before everything is completely dry. My dryer can hold a large load of towels with ease, which is very convenient so I can do fewer loads of laundry each week. Plus all the options on the dryer make drying anything easy. While most people hide their laundry room because of the clunky-looking machine that look decades out of date, my laundry room looks clean and up to date. While many would say the newer front loaders are too expensive, l find in the long run that its worth every penny because of how much I am able to save of water and electricity.

The dryer dries the clothes three times faster than any other dryer. The washer and dryer is very reliable. I use them every day and I havent had a problem yet. The price might be a little outrageous but you are paying for a really great washer that will last for many years without problems. They are a little bit slimmer than an average washer and dryer and they always look really white and it doesnt rust. I think the value of the washer and dryer is priceless. I have had other brands in the past, must always come back to this brand in particular. The appliance exceeded my expectations. The color matches my decor. The style is sleek and not big so it fits my laundry room space perfectly. The value is again as I previously stated outstanding. A few years ago we purchased a washer and dryer (front -load) for condo living from Sears. Fortunately, before the warranty had expired (1 year) the dryer stopped working and it was replaced. Not pleased with the situation but it happens. At the time of purchase we opted for warranty on both the items but as time passed the cost of the warranty kept increasing and it was decided that we should discontinue the warranty as it was becoming very costly. Not long after the decision was made the washer stopped working. It was not within our budget to replace these costly items and thus I had no other choice but to use public laundry (not hygienic) - therefore we never purchase Kenmore products again! Given the inconvenience that I and my family have had to go through I feel that I should be compensated for this?!

Dries a full load of clothes in 45 minutes or less. Also has wrinkle guard capability that surpasses any other that I have seen. Plus it bears the Kenmore name which means quality! Have not had a single problem with this dryer. It works consistently every single time no matter what size load is put in it. Would recommend to anyone interested in the older, front load style dryer. I cant say that it is pretty or even attractive but it looks way better than the rusty piece of junk that I had before I purchased this one. It does have a sleek updated design and is comparable to newer models. Good value for the price. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quality, reasonably priced appliance of this kind. Again, Kenmore is synonymous with quality and value, even in todays market.

Ive owned it now for almost 2 years and it runs like it did the first time I used it. I have 2 grown daughters that bring their laundry over (1 has a 4-year-old and her boyfriend. The other is her and her husband) to use it and both were tickled with it. I LOVE the see-through lid! Its the first thing that drew me in to consider it. When I saw it was a Kenmore, I was sold. Ive owned several Kenmore in the past and they have always outlasted other brands. I bought mine from Lowes and it was on a good sale. The price was a little high for me but the sale helped a lot. On March 24, 2011 I purchased a new Kenmore Washer Model #21102 and a matching dryer which I have yet to hook or use. The dryer that is, not the washer. The washer has been a problem from day one. In my opinion its a design flaw on more than one account. The fins on this washer - and Im not a newbie to washers Ive had washers and dryers for over 50 years - and this the very first washer to tear clothing constantly and to get clothing lodged below the fins and thus tangle and tear them. It seemed to be more of a problem for my daughter so I was quite sure what was going on. Was it her or the washer but then it did the same for me.In the 50 years of owning washers Ive never had to replace a belt and shield on a washer either. Ive gone more than a decade without having to do so but this is now the 2nd time I need to replace both in less than 4 years. Apparently the Kenmore name is no longer bullet-proof. My mother went 20 years without seeing a repairman on her Kenmore appliances either. So what is this a faulty design flaw or just crap?

This Kenmore dryer is small, durable, good size and depth. Easy to fit anywhere in your home. I love front load feature and simple to use. I believe this was on sale when we purchased 2 years after buying our home and we purchased as a set. We have had it 12 years and have never had issues with it with a family of 4.

It also saved energy and cut my light bill down. It was very space saving. It only took up half the room my first dryer did. The door was strategically placed so that it didnt take up much room when opened. The dryer itself was $250, reasonable for what you got. The shipping and handling fee was $89, a little high, but worth it. Overall a very good deal.

Kenmore Series 500, top loader washer with automatic load sensing - Ordered online, everything went wrong (multiple order numbers) from beginning to end. But, my biggest complaint is the actual washer. It has an automatic water sensor that doesnt give you enough water to completely wash the load. Even after two rinses, the clothes still come out with lint on my black capris (washed separately). They are not thoroughly washed and result in a big tight knot in my washer upon completion. I have tried deep wash, but theres no way to get additional water in it. The water sensor barely gives you enough water to get the clothes damp. I hate it. Give me the old fashioned one with a knob to select water level, and an agitator would be nice too. Not sure what genius decided washing clothes with no agitator and no water would be a great idea!!!

I quickly unplugged it and realized that the side panel was burnt, my clothes smelled like smoke. I have had this dryer, approximately 5 years. I just did not realize how dangerous the malfunction of a dryer could be. The worry that I have is what would have happened if I had not walked back in there before retiring for the night. Shouldnt there be a safety switch, in which it turns itself off in the event of an incident like this.

It is the most reliable washer and dryer I have ever purchased. They function as expected and operate quickly and efficiently. Its all great. The appearance is good. There isnt much that separates most washer and dryers as far as appearance, but it looks really good. No problems with appearance. Not the cheapest product on the market, but very much the best value. Everything about it is perfect, and the cost is just a little higher for a quality product.

Washer rubber gasket around the door had to be replaced after 3 years of use. Ive had the washer 7 years and the dryer 5 years. This is the third Kenmore dryer I have owned. Both machines are mid line. Both are high capacity and energy efficient.

Thoroughly cleans and dry clothes and enjoys a good rep, and is one of the first names when thinking of washer and dryers. Also I went to laundry mat and all machines washer and dryer were Kenmore. Its the best for clean clothes, good cycles, wash, rinse and dry. I take for granted that I will get the best clean always and something that I like. It dissolve detergents fully and dont leave any deposit of laundry detergents. I have an washer that is loaded on top. Its white and takes very little to keep it clean. Very little to clean the insides of the washer and leave a good looking machine outside and inside. Kenmore is a leader in laundry machines. There is an automatic value when a Kenmore product is bought. These are well built machines and they have a good endurance rep.

Ive owned Kenmore machines for a very long time and Ive never had a problem with reliability. Any part that breaks down has always been able to be easily replaced. The appearance of my washing machine fits in nicely with my other modern appliances. It matches the look of my dryer, refrigerator and other appliances. My washing machine was a very good buy. I considered it to be quite cheap for the value. It has always been very reliable and well worth the money.

My clothes feel so much cleaner than they did with my old washer and it fits a decent size load of laundry. Dryer is quick and my power bill did not go up when I switched out my old one with this. These appliances are completely reliable. I have never had a problem with any element of either machine not working and we do at least 4 loads of laundry in our house each week. Not the most modern looking washer dryer set but it is modernized and looks fine in my laundry closet, not that anyone but myself ever sees it. Its a updated basic side by side washer dryer set design. All appliances are so very expensive these days but this set was a fraction of the cost of the nicest models available and I am more than happy with it for the price I paid.

Highly recommend them both. Reliability once again exceeded my expectations. Clothes were laundered consistently load after load. It was not necessary to call for repairment to fix anything. The appearance of these appliances was very attractive and appealing. Both looked very modern, and the color finish was top quality. Visually, everything was orderly and attractive. The perceived value of these appliances is that you are getting more than your moneys worth -- quality laundering for an overall low price.

Upon instructions from an authorized Kenmore repairman I was told to cut my detergent down to 1 Tsp (small) to 1 Tbl (large). My loads are of medium size but I still only used ONE TEASPOON of HE detergent. No change. Still showing signs of lint/soap on my dark clothes. Again, upon instructions from authorized Kenmore repairman I ran a complete load of darks only WITHOUT ANY DETERGENT AT ALL. The dark clothes from that load again show sign of lint, soap or something else remaining. When now reading reviews for Kenmore washers this seems to be a recurring problem. Wish I had read them first or I never would have purchased this Sears Kenmore Washer Model 25132411. Will someone take responsibility and find out why my new washer is not cleaning my clothes properly?

Under service agreement it takes a minimum of 3 weeks to get machines repaired and sometimes as long as 6. Service appointments are in 8 hour window disrespecting time of the consumer. I will not purchase any additional Kenmore appliances as I am tired of frequent breakdowns and long time until the machines are repaired.

Kenmore has always been a trusted brand. This is the 3rd Kenmore refrigerator Ive owned and my washer and dryer are also Kenmore. Never disappointed. It was the width I was looking for and a good price. Delivery was set up and arrived as scheduled. I like that the fridge is slim enough to fit into tight spaces and there is lots of room in the door for beverages. The freezer is surprisingly large enough to hold very large items. The glass shelving makes it easy to see whats in the back. But they could improve on their open door alarm, although handy as I have a child in the house who is very bad about not shutting the door, it is very sensitive for both the refrigerator and freezer doors but it comes on too soon. It can be shut off for a short time but there is no adjustment even through service technicians.

My detergent seemed to dissolve nicely and smooth. My clothes didnt fade much after a few washes, however washer needs to be cleaned monthly. The washer and the dryer arent very eye catching, not that its about how pretty the machine is! The product will get your clothes clean and fresh in a nice minimum time. The value of the product is decent and good for a small family with little laundry to be cleaned weekly. With the right detergent you will have clothes very clean and wrinkle free.

Kenmore is the only washer & dryer that I now buy. I tried others but nothing beats a Kenmore for quality & dependability. I have a white top loading washer - easy to load & easy to unload. The tub on the washer is for large loads and it is deep - kind of a stretch for short people (you might have to stand on your tiptoes) but well worth the quality. Its very dependable and gets my clothes clean & wrinkle free. With the white side loading Kenmore gas dryer, I never have to re-dry clothes because they are damp after the drying cycle runs - unless you try to dry 10 towels at once. When I did have a small problem with the dryers heating element, the service tech showed up the next day and there was no charge. My previous Kenmore washer lasted well over 10 years - we ended up giving it away so we could have a larger capacity tub and I had to have the matching dryer.

It is pretty large, so I can dry my king size comforter in it. It does a good job of drying large loads and has several settings for drying (amount of time, level of dryness, etc.). However, the buzzer when it goes off is rather jarring. But, thats good when the dryer is in the garage and you couldnt hear it otherwise.

I have the same issue as J. of Waukeegan, IL (2/17/15) and I am sure many others that my Kenmore HE washer does not clean clothes. Although I have tried all different detergents (all HE) and all size loads and all settings including deep wash, two rinses, super wash and so on, the laundry comes out with white marks, dry spots (the section of the clothes that are folded do not get wet), and full of lint, fuzz and dog hair. My laundry comes out of the washer dirtier than it goes in. It is truly disgusting. I have contact customer service and sent them pictures and they eventually agreed to send a service representative. But the representative only tested if the washer was going through its cycles properly, he did not test to see how it washed clothes. I showed him the dirty clothes that came out the wash and the only recommendation that was given was to do three loads without detergent and then use only a small amount of detergent for all future washes. We have been only using the small amount of detergent as the representative indicated, however, we followed his instructions of running the three washes without detergent anyway and as we expected, it did not have any affect on the functionality of the washer. I am certain that this model just does not allow enough water to wash the clothes and since it is on a sensor we cannot adjust the amount of water. Before the representative was sent I clearly explained that the washer was working as it was designed, the problem was that it was designed poorly. Yet the representative was sent to only see if the washer was functioning as designed and made no effort to see if it actually washed clothes or to understand the problem (it was not the representatives fault, he was very polite and tried to help, he just wasnt allowed to do anything more). I am so highly disappointed that Sears will not help me but also so disappointed that they can have such a bad product AND they are not interested in understanding its product flaws and improving their product line.

The Kenmore dryer is also fast and keeps wrinkles out. It makes clothes soft and fluffy. It also doesnt get overheated and make clothes smell burnt. It has plenty of room for the bigger loads. I also loved the price. I couldnt find a better deal. It’s an energy saver, so now I dont have to worry about light bill jumping through the roof. The appearance is very plain and boring though. It needs some color maybe giving the option to choose for a color. That way you can match it up the decor in your home.

Delicates setting is perfect with the sensor. I love it. I have actually bought another one for my friend who had a terrible old dryer. Her clothes are no longer a burnt smell. The reliability of this dryer is just simply fantastic. It doesnt overheat. It runs very quiet. I love the front facing dryers. Its easier for me being short to grab and put items in the dryer. I love the circle look to it as well. Having top for some laundry folding space is wonderful too. The value of this product I too believe couldnt be any better. I am simply satisfied and wouldnt go with another dryer. Hopefully the quality and value pay off in the long run.

I particularly liked the fact that when the cycle was completed it buzzed and continued to buzz every ten minutes until the door was opened. I also liked that when the cycle was on it was quiet, did not make much noise while running. The dryer supplied all the features that I needed and I was satisfied with the drying cycles. The dryer machine was included in my house purchase and I felt that the quality and ease of using the machine was good. It met my expectations. The replacement dryer that I have was a gift to me and is a GE, but if I were to purchase a new dryer I definitely would consider Kenmore.

This dryer does a fairly good job of drying clothes, however it does not take lint out of the clothes very well at all and the seal on the dryer door was not put on very well so I had water dripping out of my dryer which certainly was a first! It is definitely not a top of the line dryer, but overall it isnt too bad. It is pretty reliable with getting clothes dry and has a large capacity drum which is really nice. You can easily fit a very large load in it and unless it is something bulky like bedding it will be dry in an hour. The appearance is very appealing. And it was one of a very few dry dryers we saw when we were shopping for dryers that would fit into the space we needed it to fit into. While I am dissatisfied with the fact that it does not remove lint from the clothes very well, I think it is a fairly good buy for what it cost us. Especially because it uses so little energy it is saving us a lot on our power bill.

It holds most of my load! I appreciate that because I tend to do my laundry often and I need many clothes to be washed. However if its overloaded then it gets overpowered. Though its not the most appealing look, it doesnt look like complete trash. Its very suitable for an average home. However, if you are richer I would consider getting the newer titles if you want it match the rest of your decked home.

Kenmores last and last with no service needed in over 10 years. Kenmores are the most reliable washers and dryers on the market. My friends have other brands and they have to call service as the dryer drum goes out or the washer stops agitating. Ive never had such problems with my Kenmore set. The knobs are easy to turn and are pretty, if you like knobs! You can get ivory or white. They have perfectly matched sets so look great wherever you place them, be it in a laundry closet, kitchen or basement. These Kenmore sets can be had for such a bargain price some may think they are cheap. What a wonderful bargain for something thats going to last and last.

I have a family of 4 and typically do 3 loads of laundry a week. It will comfortably accommodate a full-size comforter. Classic styling in white. Washer and dryer match, but if I needed to replace one or the other, I wouldnt have to buy them both again. Easy to clean surfaces. Price paid for this washer and dryer is a fair price based on what it does and what I need it to do. You can buy more expensive models that have advanced features for more money. This one is pretty basic.

When first bought worked very well for a few years then gradually started taking longer to dry loads of laundry. Worth the money though. Ive only had to replace a few parts through the years but the dryer is still running well. Dryer belt seems to wear quicker than all other parts. The color of the washer makes it look sleek and also blends very well with my apartment walls. Although lint does accumulate on the top and is very visible due to the light color of the dryer. For what I paid for the dryer I have received my money back and then some in savings from not having to go to the laundromat and various places to get quarters.

Traditional white washer. Nothing extra special. It looks like a washer, but it goes with my dryer. It was expensive, but not unreasonable for a washer. It runs well and lasts, so for me it is worth the money. I would buy this washer again but maybe a newer version.

The only time it didnt dry the way I wanted is when the lint trap was full. Sometimes I would have to dry towels twice; I have thick towels. My Kenmore was white all over. Front loading, easy open and easy close. The control panel was on top extension. It made a clicking noise as you turned the knob. Writing on the panel was black and if I remember correctly brown. It did show dirt easily, so I was constantly having to wipe it down. I honestly dont remember what I paid for it. I know that it was the best value at the time. I know that I never did regret getting it or the price I paid.

I had trouble going to public laundry facilities as the washers and dryers were never any good and sometimes had to rewash as they were not even clean, you will never have this problem with a Kenmore. You can choose from top loading or front loading and very stylish washers and dryers (even stainless steel), all sizes and capacities for all of your needs, you just cannot go wrong when you choose Kenmore. This is my choice of reliable washers and dryers and they are made by a trusted company which believes in their products and stands behind them which is something not everyone does nowadays.

Considering how many large purchases Ive made thru the years I was shocked that when I went to Sears for help about my washer which we purchased 5 years ago they refused to help me because I did not purchase the extended warranty. In all fairness I NEVER thought that a Kenmore Elite washing machine would be Covered with RUST on the inside within 5 year. When you open the lid to the machine it looks like its 25 yrs old. It has completely eaten away in some sections around the detergent and bleach dispensers and the rear side around the rim. I am afraid to wash my childrens clothes in it and feel it is ridiculous that I should have to replace a washer every five years because it is covered in rust.I have never had any issues with my past purchases from sears. It is a shame that the first time I go to them with a product issue they refuse to assist me. This should NOT happen to a product in such a short time and when it does I would hope that Sears would stand behind their products realizing that if this is happening the product was poorly made and is now resulting in issues that are a health concern. If I wanted to be Replacing a wash machine every 5 years I would have gone with the cheapest machine and not Wasted my money on a Kenmore Elite. I have spent hours trying to get assistance from Sears. I Really was hoping to have someone help me.I called the store that I purchased it from and the Store Owner HUNG up on me when I asked for the DMs phone number to help me resolve this. He told me that I took responsibility for the product after the first year because I did not purchase the extended plan. So I guess Consumers need to buy the extended warranty because their Kenmore washers will be covered with rust within a few years. Buyers Beware. I also called customer solutions, they said they were sorry that there was nothing they could do. They said I could call LG who is the maker of the Kenmore Elite because it sounds like it could be a manufacturing issue.I then called LG and they directed me back to sears saying they have an agreement with Sears to produce their product and then sell it so if I have a problem I need to go to Sears. Again I have a 2, 5 and 7 year old so spending hours on the phone and getting nowhere is extremely frustrating. I have been sent in circles for months and have gotten nowhere. I have never filed any complaint with a company but at this point I want to save other customers the nightmare that Ive had dealing with Sears and how they Dont stand behind their products.It saddens me to think that I have been a loyal customer purchasing two refrigerators, 2 washers and dryers, snowblower etc. over the past 9 years and when I need help on one thing Im told sorry. I regret that I have given Sears all my business for major appliances over the past decade. I want buyers to be aware that Sears is selling Kenmore Elites that will be covered in rust within a few years and that Sears will not help them when this happens. I have attached pictures of what my Kenmore looks like after five years of ownership. I will definitely be shopping elsewhere for all of my appliances because Sears does not value or assist their customers when there is an issue with their product.

It is a good washer machine. Its HE efficient. The Kenmore brand is very good at producing washer/dryer machines that are of quality. The washer machine is reliable. It can fit all of my items according to its settings (like cotton, delicates, etc.). The appearance of the washer machine is satisfactory, in my opinion. The important thing is functionality of the product. The machine is efficient in its work. The value of the machine is good. The price of the machine was a fair market value price, not overly expensive.

Washer and dryer works very well. I was extremely pleased in its performance and longevity. They were very quiet, energy efficient. Also I like the color and durability of the machine. The washer and dryer were very reliable I never had a problem turning it on and it working just the way it was supposed to. Nice. The energy saving feature was good and saving energy. Theyre very colorful. The dials are easy to read and easy to adjust. The doors are wide enough to put in the larger loads and comforters. Theyre very aerodynamic. Can fit in a confined area without it being crowded. They performed up to their standards making laundry very easy and enjoy to do.

My parents have used Kenmore appliances and us 5 girls use Kenmore appliances as they hold up good and a good value. Never need to call a repairman out to fix any of the items we bought. I have moved 3 times in the past 10 years and the tub of the washer does not go out of balance when moving. The dryer seems to dry my items just like you would expect them to come out of the dryer when you use them. I have been very happy with my decision to use Kenmore.

Purchased a pair of HE Kenmore (Whirlpool) washer and dryer on June 23, 2016 for a total of $1,523 for the pair. After following the operations manual to the tee due to frustrations of clothes not getting cleaned, this washer without the traditional agitator in the middle just DOES NOT get clothes clean. So we tested the washer for two months but when we gave up, we found out that Sears will not take them back or replace even ONE day over 30 days. I AM CONVINCED THAT SEARS LOST CONFIDENCE TO STAND BEHIND ITS PRODUCT! Equally, this is why I lost confidence and loyalty in SEARS. My wife and I have been wondering why Sears products and customer reviews have gone so bad that they have to close one hour earlier than everyone else and where did all the shoppers go? You can learn why real quickly by shopping at your nearest Costco, whose customer service is through the roof! I was willing to buy a new pair with the agitator in the middle of the drum to no avail. Sears management, what else are you looking for to gain back customer loyalty? If not interested, simply close up shop, and some other hungry retail chain will be glad to take your place.

My Kenmore washer and dryer are white and modern looking. The controls are easy to choose for the right amount of clothes, the right temperature for the type of clothing being washed. The washer does not have a center agitator so you can put more clothes in it. Clothes do not get tangled up and come out clean. It is energy efficient and uses less water. Both my Kenmore washer and dryer are huge capacity so I have fewer loads as I can wait two weeks before I do the laundry. Kenmore products last a long time and I am satisfied with the performance of both the washer and dryer. The ease of using them plus the performance makes it well worth the price we paid.

Kenmore washers are good at getting most pretreated stains, such as dog paw dirt and organic stuff. Kenmore dryers are superior and get my clothes dry in half the time of my old Maytag! I even had a Filter Queen that I loved but Kenmore beats that all to pieces. Kenmore always has been reliable and I imagine they will remain that way.

I needed to replace my old Kenmore washer and dryer after many successful years of use---did research but not enough, apparently. I have never been so disappointed with a Sears product as with this washer. Unable to soak heavy hobby dirt overnight, I hate the auto lock feature, and the lack of enough water in tub. I have to use the double rinse and extra fill of water every time plus the heavy duty cycle. Powders like soap and oxy need to be dissolved in a tub before you use them or your clothing will come out with white powder patches. Clothes are often not clean because of the lack of water fill. I complained to the clerk at Sears who sold me the washer after just a couple weeks and he was rude and discounted all of my concerns. By the time I went back again after a few weeks, he said the time lapsed and the machine could not be returned. I really wish I had kept my old machine until the motor totally quit. I hate the electronic controls that turn on if you even wash the top or sometimes walk by the machine. I have never been so disappointed in a product as this before. The Sears official site kept telling me there was an error in my submission and booting me off, and I strongly suspect it is because the review was negative. I purchased the matching dryer and it is fine except for dirt that collects on the inside rims of the door with each load... I empty the lint screen but dirt still collects on the door. The washer also takes twice as long as any washer I have ever had, and I am 73 with a history of at least 5 washers in my life. I hope buyers will not make my mistake with the 600 series of Kenmore top loader washer machines. Thank you for reading.

My appliance repairman came out to work on my ice maker and he said I must be the only pet on planet Earth that has not had a problem with that washer but again no problems. My dryer is a Whirlpool with knobs. No electronics, it is 10 years old electric dryer. No problems ever.
