I have grown up with Kenmore products. They are a work horse, durable, reasonably price and lasts a long time. I have had each product over 10 years. I dont even know the color or size specifications of each. If there ever was a problem it would be to call the blue crew. I have tried the rest. Now I will stick with the best. Kenmore or nothing. I was raised with these products. I dont believe in stackable washer & dryers. They are not durable and cannot hold enough. I had a bad experience with them. I am not picky of color, size, or price, it just has to be a Kenmore brand.

I was drying my clothes in my Kenmore dryer and was fixing to go to bed. When I walked in my kitchen, I heard a loud noise and smelled something burning. I realized that my dryer was on fire. I quickly unplugged it and realized that the side panel was burnt, my clothes smelled like smoke. I have had this dryer, approximately 5 years. I just did not realize how dangerous the malfunction of a dryer could be. The worry that I have is what would have happened if I had not walked back in there before retiring for the night. Shouldnt there be a safety switch, in which it turns itself off in the event of an incident like this.

Since this dryer never broke and I have had it for at least 3 years, I can surely say that this washer or dryer is very reliable and durable, as far as I can tell. Appearance is something I take in consideration when choosing an appliance and I say that this washer or dryer looks nice in my apartment. Very modern. Even though this is a very good washer or dryer, the price is not so competitive. It is usually a little more expensive than its competitors but I would still go for it again.

Kenmore washers and dryers exceeded my initial expectations lasting over twenty years! I have gotten my money’s worth with those purchases! However, I have found over the years of being a homemaker that purchasing one of their refrigerators is a totally different circumstance entirely and my main complaint is that their refrigerators should last longer than they do. Over the years I have bought two. The first house I bought the previous owners left theirs for me. Never got many years out of one and that in itself is very, very disappointing. Prices on the refrigerators were way too high. But what is even worse is the interest rate using the store’s credit card charges. I was in a bind as my older refrigerator broke unexpectedly after ten years. I am a senior citizen living on social security so this became a more difficult situation then for most! I did not like that there was no senior citizen discount offered and when all was said and done, it cost much more than I think the true value should have been! But I liked that opening the refrigerator was easy as believe it or not, some I find really need a good tug on the door and usually when an appliance is like that, it takes me a few good tries to pull a door open on it. I am not the weakest person but does someone need to be the strongest one in town to do that simple action with ease? And being a senior citizen, I cannot tell you how much that factor was and is so very much appreciated by me! It was quiet and performed well, has nice space inside for food storage and had the color I wanted to match other appliances in my kitchen. I am hoping my refrigerator serves me well!

I have a family of 5 so I used them daily. The washer broke a belt and was very loud at times. I can not remember all the repairs but I had at least 7 calls for repairs over 10 days. I bought the basic model with no frills. The washer and dryer are both white and easy to keep clean. They look very good in my utility room next to each other. I purchased the base model with no special options. I have been very happy with the washer and dryer, and with the price I had to pay for them. I used the washer and dryer daily, and they were dependable.

It washes the items the first time and takes up very little water. It is basically dry when you put them in the dryer making the dryer work less and getting clothes done quicker. It should hold up for at least 5 years before needed minor repairs as long as you treat it right and not abuse it. You should have no problems out of it for a long time. You can do less loads per day which in the long run saves water and power. It also runs in less time, but gets them just as clean as a normal washer would. It basically pays for itself! I dont know what else to say about it besides that it is a good washer and you would be happy to have it in your home.

Dryer worked great for a little over 2 yrs. Right after the warranty was up the heat quit working. We thought it was the heating element. But it turned out to be the computer board. I bought a new dryer for what it would have cost to put a new computer board in it. I really liked the appearance of this dryer. Thats why I bought this style of dryer. But never again. I went back to the old style. Just because they come up with a newer style dryer dont mean its better than the old style. The value of this style dryer was not good at all. The very first dryer I bought which was an old style dryer lasted over 20 yrs. But the new style dryer didnt last 30 months.

My clothes feel so much cleaner than they did with my old washer and it fits a decent size load of laundry. Dryer is quick and my power bill did not go up when I switched out my old one with this. These appliances are completely reliable. I have never had a problem with any element of either machine not working and we do at least 4 loads of laundry in our house each week. Not the most modern looking washer dryer set but it is modernized and looks fine in my laundry closet, not that anyone but myself ever sees it. Its a updated basic side by side washer dryer set design. All appliances are so very expensive these days but this set was a fraction of the cost of the nicest models available and I am more than happy with it for the price I paid.

I have always used Kenmore washers and dryers as they come with great warranties and are a great product you can trust. I have had both gas and electric dryers. I had trouble going to public laundry facilities as the washers and dryers were never any good and sometimes had to rewash as they were not even clean, you will never have this problem with a Kenmore. You can choose from top loading or front loading and very stylish washers and dryers (even stainless steel), all sizes and capacities for all of your needs, you just cannot go wrong when you choose Kenmore. This is my choice of reliable washers and dryers and they are made by a trusted company which believes in their products and stands behind them which is something not everyone does nowadays.

The washer was big and I used for my husbands working clothes. He was working in construction later as a metal welder. Worked great. I washed covers, jeans, not a problem. My washer was a top loader, white, has 4/5 cycles, since was used when we bought it had some scratches but panel was fine. Nothing out of ordinary for a regular washer. We bought the pair washer and dryer as a pair, from a paper classified, so was a real bargain and last more than expected. Since that time sometimes regret spending money for new ones. But the new models are really good too.

So unless we wanted to pay $450.00 for the repair cost for a rubber seal, it made more sense to purchase a new set. The quality was poor in the Kenmore. Im looking forward to the new set!

My dryer dried all my clothes perfectly fine even delicates which I would dry on low heat or air - I would still own it if I hadnt chose to upgrade my washer and dryer after moving. My drying drum was more than ample size for all my loads of laundry from jeans to towels to sheets - I never had a problem with my clothes being damp or drying unevenly. The appearance of my dryer was not aesthetically modern like the digital ones are; however, it had all the bells and whistles to get the job done. The amount of money I would spend doing laundry at the laundromat was more than my monthly payment - Not to mention the amount of time spent away from home which has no value because its priceless.

We had Kenmore heavy duty washer and dryer appliances that we used while our 4 kids were growing up. They were great appliances and did thousands of laundry loads. I knew that when I put dirty clothes in they would come out clean and fresh. My parents had Kenmore products and thats why I got Kenmore. They more than proved themselves over the years. We usually did at least 7 to 9 loads of laundry a week at my house. When I say that we needed a heavy duty washer and dryer set, I meant that we really gave them a work out.

When those quit working, after many years, I got another set of Kenmore washer and dryer. Again I was very happy with them. If they ever needed service, the Sears service people were very good. They made the repair quickly and efficiently. When I went to get my third set of appliances from Sears, I found that the prices had gone up terribly high. I could get the same machines in the Whirlpool brand for about 2/3 of the price. That is what I have now, Whirlpool. Same great product... but less expensive.

I bought a new Kenmore Elite set that has a large enough capacity for all types of bedding, mattress covers, quilts, etc. It uses HE soap, doesnt require much. Takes longer to wash, but saves on water. I was told that washers lasting anywhere near what the older ones did are a thing of the past. The new ones, if youre lucky, will last 8 years. Mine is currently 2.5 years old, so Ill have to wait and see. Definitely would recommend Kenmore.

This was my first experience with an HE washer and I was hesitant but since I could not find a reliable/well rated old fashioned washer like I wanted, I took the plunge and I was EXTREMELY glad I did! Kenmore 65132 7.0 cu. ft. Electric Dryer w/ SmartDry Plus Technology White. I bought this because it was the match to the washer. The clothes really come out so much cleaner and although this is not a super capacity washer compared to other models I was able to wash a king size comforter (yippee) however I cannot say the same for the dryer. It did fit in but there was not much room for tumbling so I had to stop and reposition it myself several times to ensure complete drying. Note to self-> in the future dont buy the matched pair especially since there was no cost savings in doing so. Other than that it dries fine. I dont need a lot of bells and whistles so I looked for a basic washer. Good ratings are paramount if I dont have a relatives or friends recommendation; and of course I always want to find it on sale with free delivery. Having repair issues are always a red flag but especially since our set-up is on the second floor I avoided any models w/ reviews that had a mention of leak issues. This is a basic full size washer with a lot of different settings to choose from if needed (Normal; Delicates; Bulky/Bedding; Whites; Heavy Duty; Casual; DeepWash; Express; Soak). The dryer has the usual basic cycles. It has a end of cycle buzzer that can be switched to off if so desired. There is an inside light. The door opens down (instead of to the side) which is nice to catch what is being taken out. The washer/dryer pair ran about $947.00 after discounts.

Only complaint is how dirty the front load washer gets in the rim by the door. And also that the pedestal are not included in the price as a cheaper option. 249.00 a piece is way too much. But to get the height which is what I needed and why I wanted front load so we dont have to bend over cause as you age that gets impossible.

I have kids who are into sports and band, and pets so I have several loads of clothes in a week usually and every day I have never been able to not rely on my Kenmore. I am overall satisfied and would not trade this brand for another brand. It has been greatly appreciated with our family. The appearance overall is the usual white and simple with not a lot of buttons which I like so I can teach my kids to use later on when they are older.

Kenmore SmartWash Front Load washer smells like mold even after cleaning with bleach solution, washing machine cleaner, and leaving the door open all the time. Clothes are left smelling even after rinsing twice and using dryer sheets. I have talked to a repairman. We have extended warranty with no solution to this problem. Clothes often smell bad and must be rewashed unless you are right there to remove from washer immediately, which is not always possible. Would never have bought this product if I knew and I am very disappointed.

A year and three weeks later, my warranty was expired and the washer started to stop in the middle of the cycle and giving an LE ERROR. The manual says its the MOTOR - turn on and off the washer. If the error continues then call customer service. I called and they told me indeed is the motor, gave me a quote of $260 for the new motor & installation OR to pay $360 for ONE YEAR of warranty and this would cover the parts and installation. The conclusion is that I feel all they want is to keep getting my money & sold me a faulty washer which only worked for ONE YEAR! Its just me and my husband, I took very good care of the washer, and the customer service representative said: Its a factory fault. Theres nothing you did or could do about it. Im extremely MAD! I was considering to buy the dryer, but now I will definitely look for other brands!

Kenmores last and last with no service needed in over 10 years. Kenmores are the most reliable washers and dryers on the market. My friends have other brands and they have to call service as the dryer drum goes out or the washer stops agitating. Ive never had such problems with my Kenmore set. The knobs are easy to turn and are pretty, if you like knobs! You can get ivory or white. They have perfectly matched sets so look great wherever you place them, be it in a laundry closet, kitchen or basement. These Kenmore sets can be had for such a bargain price some may think they are cheap. What a wonderful bargain for something thats going to last and last.

Bought KENMORE ELITE 5.3 FRONT LOADING WASHING MACHINE from Sears in Nov 2018. After about the 10 load it made the sound of a hammer hitting it. LOUD! Only my wife & I live here and use it, roughly 20-24 loads per month. The loud banging happened about 4 times. Then began, and still continuing a shuddering noise when adding water to a wash cycle. At the end of July a SEARS TECH come out & replace both hot & cold LG intake valves. NO RESOLVE. I had been researching this situation and came across a term I wasnt familiar with-water hammer arrestor. Wont go into detail but discussed this with tech and decided Id nothing to lose but $20. Bought one each for supply valves. Tech returned 3 days later but nothing changed. Doing more research someone pointed out that for these machines 1/2 interior diameter hose should be used, not the steel wrapped hoses which are only 3/8 interior diameter. This small hose causes the velocity to come out and into washer MUCH MORE FORCEFUL. I spent $30 on HEAVY RUBBER hoses and stopped the shuttering. Until 2 weeks ago. SEARS TECH was to come out yesterday (10-31) and called to make sure Id be home. I explained the situation and was told this is a PROBLEMATIC DEFECT with these washers and cant be fixed. Said this has been an ongoing problem for 3-4 yrs. The first tech from 3 months earlier basically said the same. Also - Whats up with water ALWAYS in soap tray? My dryer is level. If fact I think SEARS installed it. One other problem: Has anyone noticed when workers come into your home they behave like they own it. These 2 tech were upset as I ask them to take their dirty shoes off and to remove whatever was attached to their belts. I told them I didnt want my walls & cabinets scratched up!

It also collects coins, hair clips and a wide variety of items in the pump and lines which caused its replacement the first year. Will never purchase another front load washer. The Dryer has been wonderful, but we have had to replace the heating coils after two years. Dries a large load very quickly though.

We never had a major problem with either appliance. We replaced them with a different brand, and we wish we had keep the old appliances. Our clothes do not get as clean, even with using special detergent pods with cleaning boosters. The new dryer goes crazy and either doesnt dry the clothes thoroughly or runs too long. I cannot say it enough -- WE SHOULD HAVE STUCK WITH KENMORE!

I have spent so much money on repairs, and I simply want to put it on the sidewalk with a warning sign for anyone who will take it. It began less than a year after I purchased it. First, it was the F1 code. It turns out that the control board was faulty. They paid for a portion of it, but I got stuck with the rest and the labor. Then, the dryer began acting up. It only dries the clothes on Timed Dry, and it usually takes 70 minutes to dry a load. Do you know how much power that uses? The washer has since been repaired two more times. The tub had to be replaced within the first 3 years. Now, I am getting the DL code, which means the door will not latch. There is nothing blocking this from happening. I just wish Sears would honor their products and care about their customers. I also wish Kenmore would stand behind their products. When I told the repairman that washers are supposed to last longer than a decade and he said, Not anymore.” They make them like this so they can break down, and the company can make more money. I am so sad and angry. I read the message boards from so many frustrated people like myself. We are living from paycheck to paycheck. These repairs are too costly, and so is going to the laundromat. Can someone please help us?

I wash a lot of clothes through them including all the mom heads, aprons, and rags from the restaurant and they have never shown any sign of faltering. The washer gets out all of the oils and grease from the rags no problem. I know this is not how you are supposed to use a household machine but it doesnt bother it. Thank You Kenmore.

I dont need specific or special detergent or any nonsense to use these for great fresh clean clothes. I like the simplicity of the washer and dryer and how its not smart or connected. I inherited the washer and the dryer with the house, but they have been excellent appliances and are at least 10-15 years old and still work great. The washer barely filled with water and some of the clothes came out of the wash still having dry spots on them from where they didnt even get wet. This washer was not reliable because the clothes didnt get clean and some didnt even get wet. Not to mention that it takes over an hour to wash one load of laundry. The washer looked nice but it just didnt wash good. I sent it back after 3 days of use. The metal that the washer was made from also seemed kind of flimsy. I paid over a thousand dollars for the washer and dryer set and was very disappointed. It used very little water and didnt even cover the clothes leaving dry spots on some of the clothes from not agitating very well.

Very efficient and it saves money on my electric bill, but sometimes the drying sensor will stop the dryer before everything is completely dry. My dryer can hold a large load of towels with ease, which is very convenient so I can do fewer loads of laundry each week. Plus all the options on the dryer make drying anything easy. While most people hide their laundry room because of the clunky-looking machine that look decades out of date, my laundry room looks clean and up to date. While many would say the newer front loaders are too expensive, l find in the long run that its worth every penny because of how much I am able to save of water and electricity.

Upon installation by the delivery crew this dryer (Kenmore 67132 Electric) gave them a PF error message and would not start. They replaced the power cord and said it was fine. Ten minutes after they left it failed to start again and gave us the PF error. Sears replaced the dryer with a new one and after a few weeks it started giving us the PF error again leaving us with an unusable dryer. We also ordered the Kenmore washer 26132 4.8 cu. ft top loader and were dissatisfied with that as well. It look a very long time for a cycle to complete and most times our clothes ended up still dirty, still stinky, some areas were not even wet and some clothes had a white residue on them. Both appliances were returned.

Ive only had to replace a few parts through the years but the dryer is still running well. Dryer belt seems to wear quicker than all other parts. The color of the washer makes it look sleek and also blends very well with my apartment walls. Although lint does accumulate on the top and is very visible due to the light color of the dryer. For what I paid for the dryer I have received my money back and then some in savings from not having to go to the laundromat and various places to get quarters.

Unfortunately when the belts went out, it was not possible to have them repaired. The cost of repair would have been substantial. It was more feasible to buy a used washer, not a front load unfortunately. Keep up your extended warranty if you can afford it, and this will be the best washer and dryer you will ever own.

I purchased a Kenmore washer and dryer and also a Kenmore refrigerator and they lasted for over twenty years. I have since then always favored and trusted the Kenmore brand. I liked that the refrigerator motor ran quietly and that it was frost free and easy to clean. I liked also, the finish on the outer cabinet of the refrigerator because it didnt show fingerprints and smudges. It had great vegetable bins and the shelves were roomy and great for storing tall items on the top shelf. I also liked the door compartment.

Most of the time, it fit everything I needed it to. I found it to be very reliable. I never had any problems with it as there were no maintenance issues. I would recommend it to others. Considering it was scratch and dent, it looked very good and would have looked good if bought at the regular store too. The dents were located where you wouldnt notice them unless you were specifically looking for them. It had the appearance of a normal dryer. While it didnt have all the bells and whistles, I felt that its performance was at least as good as the higher end machines. It was a great value as it got the clothes dry, but didnt cost an arm and a leg.

In over 14 years of usage of approximately 4-5 loads per week, the door latch gizmo went out twice and the control panel twice. Washer washes really well. Being the HT model must not use too much detergent. Gas dryer dries great. Overall the brand (Kenmore) is not bad. I know there are newer ones out with lots of gadgets but Im not a fan of these. I need a few cycles to cover most typical usage and these are great for that.

In July of 2016 we purchased a Sears Kenmore Elite front loading washer and dryer set. At the Sears store the salesman told us this was the best selling washer/dryer combos and that they were absolutely flying out of the store. On October 4, 2016 we noticed several of the lights were not working. Because we did not purchase the extended warranty from Sears we were referred to the manufacturer. As of today, December 26, 2016, the washer is still not repaired. We have spent countless hours on the phone looking for satisfaction. A repairman has been to our home three times (wrong parts every time). And are currently waiting on parts for a 4th try at fixing it. Apparently LG manufactures the computer module that is needed. Our most recent phone conversation ended with the comment get over it and buy a new washer. We bought a matching set and do want a different washer and dryer that do not match. We will never buy a Kenmore appliance again. Most people do not know that the components in Kenmores are from a hodgepodge of manufacturers. I would give Kenmore service a zero star rating if I could.

This is an incredible dryer and the capabilities are endless. If you have the money, you should go to the store and get one of these. Its a good dryer that you could depend on if you have only one. This will completely dry your clothes and you rarely have to worry about it. This dryer is a decent size and fits well into my back room and with the washer on the side, it fits really nicely into the small space. If you have the money, this can give you really good quality drying, but its not totally worth all of the money and cash you should really put into it.

It was made for a long time, very good. I think that I had it for years. Very simple to use, and not many buttons so you can use it easier. It is made very sturdy, had it for many years. Just a simple washer and dryer that doesnt have many setting, which I like. Nothing really fancy but sure last a long time. It is very plain, but has the three settings, and that is what I wanted or needed. I dont like all the fancy buttons on a machine. It is quiet, and works well. The value is the best, not too expensive and does everything that an expensive washer and dryer would do. It was less than the newer washers and dryers and I had it for years.

The washer is very easy to use and it gets the job done in very less time than most. Clothes come out clean and fresh. The dryer dries the clothes in dry if you dont overload it. Clothes do not shrink. The washer is a nice size. My large loads would compare to 15 pair of heavy jeans of a size 14 (women). The dryer just the same for it, but I think you can fit a little more in it. Mine isnt very fancy but I had for a very long time now and it gets everything clean. Like I said it easy to use. It is spacey. It white and grey inside. So the price of mine was low because it was on sale. Now I think it at its regular price now, which isnt a lot, depending on where you get it. So the value of mine is min, just because its been used.

My parents have used Kenmore appliances and us 5 girls use Kenmore appliances as they hold up good and a good value. Never need to call a repairman out to fix any of the items we bought. I have moved 3 times in the past 10 years and the tub of the washer does not go out of balance when moving. The dryer seems to dry my items just like you would expect them to come out of the dryer when you use them. I have been very happy with my decision to use Kenmore.

I purchased a Kenmore Dryer in June 2012. I put a load of wash in it and it had this very loud grinding noise. I took the top off to see if the belt was broke, but all looks intact. I spun the drum to see if maybe something was lodged in there and it did not make any harsh noise. I never overload the dryer (my son broke one before by doing that. I know the expense). The warranty just expired - go figure. I called Kenmore to see what I can do and they said they can have someone over that same day. That was very impressive. However, they said it would cost me $97.00 just to have the service man ring my doorbell, and depending on what is wrong with the dryer it could cost almost $500. I only paid $450.00 for it. So, I said no to the service call. I am on a low budget I could not afford that. I put the dryer on lay-a-way for six months thats how low my budget is. I purchased a Kenmore washer and dryer because of the reputation and good products they sell. Ive always purchased Kenmore appliances. I am very disappointed in this product and extremely dissatisfied with Kenmore. Is there anyone out there that can help me.
