I use them regularly. They are hardworking machines. My family has no complaints. I sometimes use the dryer instead of ironing. Easy to load. Would buy again. I would definitely recommend. Easier to use than others Ive had. Reasonably priced also. Easy to find. I had mine delivered for free. A real bonus. Even installed and all it cost me was a tip, by choice. Nice, sleek, and choice of colors. The dials are also a nice touch. Easy to operate. Also easy to keep clean. And lots of choices. I also enjoy how quiet they are. If I can afford them, so can you. They are reasonably priced and the life of the products makes it an even better deal. Affordable and long lasting products are what pulls me back.

I have used a Kenmore washer and dryer for a number of years. My experience with these appliances has been excellent. When I required service of any type the company provided excellent service. These Kenmore products are of very fine quality and easy to use.

Few dents and scratches due to user error and durable in parts and appearance. I use this washer daily and have washed a lot of loads in it. Good size for larger loads and quiet. A front loader gives easy access to removing clothes. It keeps on kicking and other than the occasional belt service calls have been minimum. Also, minimum problems with no switched cycles and various cycles fits my needs. I would consider purchasing a Kenmore washer in the future and have recommended it to others. Dependable and easy to load and control. I really love it. Thinking about purchasing a Kenmore dryer now that I know it is a quality product which seems easy to service by a qualified technician.

One of the best refrigerators I have ever had. I highly recommend this brand. It does not take space although it is quite large from the inside which make it very special. I can put everything in the refrigerator cause I have enough space to put all the food in there.The refrigerator is amazing and I like the way it looks. I chose the grey color since it fits with my kitchen and I with any other color. It is also very easy to clean because of the good material used to manufacture it. Does not attract hardly any dust or lint. Has sturdy door handles. Because its energy efficient I save on my monthly electric bill. Also my food stay fresher longer. All drinks get cool quick and stay cool so my grocery bill is manageable.

The washer is very easy to use and it gets the job done in very less time than most. Clothes come out clean and fresh. The dryer dries the clothes in dry if you dont overload it. Clothes do not shrink. The washer is a nice size. My large loads would compare to 15 pair of heavy jeans of a size 14 (women). The dryer just the same for it, but I think you can fit a little more in it. Mine isnt very fancy but I had for a very long time now and it gets everything clean. Like I said it easy to use. It is spacey. It white and grey inside. So the price of mine was low because it was on sale. Now I think it at its regular price now, which isnt a lot, depending on where you get it. So the value of mine is min, just because its been used.

It was nice knowing it was time to get my clothes out. I hate wrinkles. When I had my Kenmore dryer it was constantly being used. I had 4 kids and 2 adults to do laundry for. The only time it didnt dry the way I wanted is when the lint trap was full. Sometimes I would have to dry towels twice; I have thick towels. My Kenmore was white all over. Front loading, easy open and easy close. The control panel was on top extension. It made a clicking noise as you turned the knob. Writing on the panel was black and if I remember correctly brown. It did show dirt easily, so I was constantly having to wipe it down. I honestly dont remember what I paid for it. I know that it was the best value at the time. I know that I never did regret getting it or the price I paid.

I bought the washer and dryer set with the pedestals when I had my house built 8 years ago and spent over $2,500. I will never, ever again buy such an expensive set and will never, ever again buy anything from Sears. The dryer went out last year (year 7) and had more error codes than I knew what to do with. The cost for a technician to come out and just look is approximately $300 and that cost only includes them coming out - nothing is yet fixed. So, I went on the internet and read that the problem I was having was likely a control board. I called Sears to get a new one (approximately $300) and was told (after I specifically asked) if I could return the board if it turned out not to be the problem. I was told that I could. The board they sent me was reconditioned (RECONDITIONED!) and didnt work either. I called Sears to get a return part and was told since it came from their overseas supplier, I could not return it. So, I spent a ridiculous amount of money for a simple dryer that doesnt last and then spent more ridiculous amounts of money trying to fix it only to learn that not only does Sears not stand behind their products, but they also dont stand by their return policy. I bought a new dryer through Home Depot -- a holiday sale and military discount provided me with a new dryer for UNDER $300. Now the washer is gone. No error messages, nothing. Ive learned not to call a technician and not to order replacement parts from Sears. Im simply buying a new washer, which will no doubt be much cheaper than trying to fix the joke that Sears put out. I highly recommend buying from another company (Sears cannot be trusted with the parts, service, or guarantees). They suckered me but good.

I dont even know the color or size specifications of each. If there ever was a problem it would be to call the blue crew. I have tried the rest. Now I will stick with the best. Kenmore or nothing. I was raised with these products. I dont believe in stackable washer & dryers. They are not durable and cannot hold enough. I had a bad experience with them. The buttons are ideal and placed in strategic locations. Its white color make it look elegant and distinguished, the inside is very delicate and beautiful too. It has never given me any problems. It has simple instructions on how to use it and it will be a reliable washer if you follow those instructions. It is just a regular washer nothing fancy. But it gets your clothes clean and it does it in a timely manner. I like a plain look to a washer and dryer anyway. I dont care too much for super fancy. I got this at such a good price. I couldnt pass it up. I bought it as a set and together they make the best washer/dryer investment Ive ever made. I would totally recommend the washer and dryer.

The machine even knows how much water to put in by how full the basket is. I had been shopping for a new set for some time. Most brands nowadays you have to have a degree in engineering to operate them. I needed something I could hook up and go. I dont want to spend a lot of time figuring out how to run the appliance. My set is so simple to use. No electronic parts/push buttons. Just turn the dial to your preferred setting and water temp. The water level in the machine is determined in the machine by the amount of clothes put in. So simple. Clothes come out clean. The dryer is just as simple and the clothes come out almost wrinkle free. No fuss. Able to get all the weekly laundry done in one day.

The Kenmore dryer is also fast and keeps wrinkles out. It makes clothes soft and fluffy. It also doesnt get overheated and make clothes smell burnt. It has plenty of room for the bigger loads. I also loved the price. I couldnt find a better deal. It’s an energy saver, so now I dont have to worry about light bill jumping through the roof. The appearance is very plain and boring though. It needs some color maybe giving the option to choose for a color. That way you can match it up the decor in your home.

They are easy to use and do not run our water and electric bills up and we use them daily. We can depend on our appliances to work whenever we need them. We have had them for years and have never had problems out of them except having to replace some kind of rubber gasket in the dryer one time. But now it works just like it is brand new. I like the white color. It matches my dryer. It is easy to keep clean because of the removing lid feature and the outside is entirely metal so it can be wiped down and bleached even as needed. The washer and dryer we purchased were an excellent product for the price. We received a discount on them and that is what made us decide to go with the brand that we chose and we couldnt be happier.

Very seldom, if ever, do I have to call a service man. I choose to get the fewest features on the appliances as I have found out that the less mechanic, the less the problem. Have found these products very reliable. Currently I have a white washer and a beige dryer. They do not match, but work all the time. Would not use any other brand. Am tempted to buy new more modern ones, but mine still work fine.

Can occasionally be lagging, the washer never gave issues but dryer sometimes requires extra dry time. The pair lasted for years. One of best sets Ive owned. Only occasional issues. Some machines have a much greater times where they dont work properly. For how long the product lasted, Id say it only had a few bad days. For the house layout we had, the machines appearance worked fine. Not too bulky, lots of room for moving around and not bumping into the machines all of the time. Color was subtle and always felt comfortable doing laundry with them. Lasted forever. Only need to get new ones when I moved into a smaller place in the city and needed some more space for other storage reasons. Well worth the investment.

The control panels are fairly straightforward, so selecting the cycle/features I need is pretty easy for such high-end modern machines. The washer could be easier to clean, however-- the sealing gasket is always dirty and holds little bits of stagnant water unless I am diligent about wiping it clean after every cycle, which is more maintenance that I think a washing machine should really require. The dryer I have no complaints about.

They came in a house I bought which was 3 years old, so I assume the machines were the same age. I kept the house for 6 more years before selling and the appliances went with the house. In the time I had them, the only problems I had were the centrifugal fabric dispenser needed periodic cleaning as it would develop a heavy coating on it and I did have to replace one heating element in the dryer. Being Kenmore, that was owner serviceable.

I had it when my son, who was in sports and Naval Sea Cadet Corp, was living with us and it handled large amounts of VERY dirty laundry. While it washes very well, the spin cycle is awful. It leaves the clothes VERY wet and we often have to run the spin cycle several times before putting the clothes into the dryer. Also, the washer is very dated, plain and boring and has a cheap appearance. It does not have any redeeming qualities with regard to the aesthetics of the washer. But I believe that the washer is a good value for the price. It is a below base model – purely to perform a function.

Was in a class action lawsuit but think we lost. I hope they made these a lot better over the years. Mine was the first front loader out I think.

I was not impressed with this washer. I went from using a regular washer to this and the clothes didnt come clean even on a small load. The washer barely filled with water and some of the clothes came out of the wash still having dry spots on them from where they didnt even get wet. This washer was not reliable because the clothes didnt get clean and some didnt even get wet. Not to mention that it takes over an hour to wash one load of laundry. The washer looked nice but it just didnt wash good. I sent it back after 3 days of use. The metal that the washer was made from also seemed kind of flimsy. I paid over a thousand dollars for the washer and dryer set and was very disappointed. It used very little water and didnt even cover the clothes leaving dry spots on some of the clothes from not agitating very well.

My Kenmore washer cleans clothes well. Its a powerful machine. I got the washer and dryer at the same time, but the dryer died after a year. Washer is still going strong. The washer has a large capacity. Even with a central agitator, my comforter still fits fine. My washer is still working perfectly after a year. The dryer didnt last this long. Both the Kenmore washer and dryer look as they are supposed to. They are white, rectangular, and narrow enough to fit in my tiny laundry room. I am satisfied by the value of my Kenmore washer because it still works as well as the day I got it.

Sometimes I wish I had a little bigger washing tub but it is a brand I never had a problem with. So I would always purchase this brand because of its reputation. The brand appearance is fine, I dont need all the bells and whistles like some people. Regular washer and dryer are fine for me. It has all the recommended settings that are really reliable as well as having a wonderful warranty. Kenmore has been around for a really long time and it is a great brand at a great price so I would recommend it to everyone.

I have no complaints other than it doesnt control lint as well as the old one did. Overall its pretty good. I pre-soak bad stains and it does a good job of washing them out. It hasnt asked yet but this is a stacker washer dryer unit...about 15 years old now.

Have my Kenmore washer & dryer for 11 years now. The dryer is on Custom Cycle. I use always Normal Cycle, Med. Low Temp, More Dry and Wrinkle Rid. After the cycle is done I do the Touch-up for 15 min. and then my loads are dry. The front loader washer is another story. After the warranty expired a problem with the settings started so I was not able to use the Custom Cycles here anymore. Every time the wash cycle would stop before the rinse cycle, so I had to touch a shorter cycle with cold water and start all over again. What I do now is touch all the buttons one by one 3 times till I am back on the cycle combination I want and now it works fine for about 90%. Annoying but you learn to live with it.

My products are covered by a warranty but I dont think Id ever have to use it. Products have been used in the family for years. Love the fact that it comes in different colors. My sister has the same, exact dryer and also loves it as much as I do. The reason that I purchased this dryer is because of the durability described in the manual and it definitely has not let me down. This dryer is very reliable. My clothes are always wrinkle and static free, and I do not have to iron everyday. It is very energy-efficient and economical. The appearance of my dryer is incredible, the dryer fits perfectly in the only space that I had available for it. It is very easy to clean and keep clean. The amount of money that was charged and that I paid for this dryer was very much worth the amount of money. I had to borrow money from my father to purchase this dryer and I am so glad that I did, because it was worth it.

It is very reliable, efficient and trustworthy. It is well-made and strong and sturdy. Has a modern appearance and fits well. Was easy to install and runs quietly. It does the job for my needs, and does a good job at drying the clothes. This dryer was of great value to meet my budget. For the size and price it is the ideal dryer for one or two people in a household. It is a product I would recommend to anyone.

The dryer is particularly reliable. It has handled a family of seven as well as many other guests over the course of the years and has handled all imaginable load sizes. The appearance is nothing special and we dont expect much from clothes dryers really. We simply expect versatility, quick drying and the ease of load and remove especially when having children doing the bulk of the laundry. The value speaks for itself. Any dryer that can withstand the usage of a growing family of seven over the course of a couple decades is well worth its weight in gold.

I love the washers ability to have a small load or extra large load and choice of cycles from delicate to heavy duty. The dryer has several choices as well from delicate and air dry to heavy duty. Kenmores last and last with no service needed in over 10 years. Kenmores are the most reliable washers and dryers on the market. My friends have other brands and they have to call service as the dryer drum goes out or the washer stops agitating. Ive never had such problems with my Kenmore set. The knobs are easy to turn and are pretty, if you like knobs! You can get ivory or white. They have perfectly matched sets so look great wherever you place them, be it in a laundry closet, kitchen or basement. These Kenmore sets can be had for such a bargain price some may think they are cheap. What a wonderful bargain for something thats going to last and last.

I purchased a Kenmore Elite top load washing machine. Luckily, I did purchase the warranty at that time. Shortly after the purchase, the control board went out and needed to be replaced. If I hadnt had the warranty, it would have cost me which is seriously ridiculous, that a new washer should only last a few weeks. The machine continued to have this error code to come up. We would turn it off and restart it. It would work for a little while, then the code would appear again. I finally ordered another control board in December 2011. This one worked for a month or so, then it again started having the error again. The Washer at this time continues to get an error code, although now it will not go into the spin mode no matter how many times we turn it off and on, or unplug it.This has been a learning experience for me. This washer has been the worst major purchase I have ever made. I will not buy another Kenmore product. Its sad, because I thought they were a good name. I actually had purchased the washer, dryer, and the refrigerator at the same time. I havent had a problem with my dryer but had a major water problem with the water line to the refrigerator. I had to replace the water line twice to the refrigerator. It had leaked and flooded through the floor to the ceiling below.Needless to say, I havent been back to Sears in a a number of years, other than to buy the filters for my refrigerator. At this point, I cannot wait for them to get back to me regarding this stupid washing machine. I feel that if you spend that much money on a machine, it should last for more than 5 years without needing major repairs.

Buyer beware!!! I purchased a washer, dryer and refrigerator, all Kenmore Elite and they have been the WORST purchases I have EVER made in my life (except the dryer). It has been 3 years but my problems began within the first few months. The water never got cold from day one on the fridge door even after 2 service calls to Sears. The washer I have had to call and have repaired 6 times. Every, I mean EVERY drawer and shelf in the refrigerator and freezer broke within the first year and were not covered under warranty. This is not what you expect from a $6000.00 purchase!!! You expect more peace of mind from expensive appliances but the technicians from Sears kept telling me that the items are crappy and not Kenmore at all. They just slap their names on them. I am considering taking my complaints on to the Better Business Bureau and anyone else I can find to complain to.

We purchased a Kenmore Elite front load washer and dryer in 2011. In the same year that the one-year warranty expired, the washer quit working. The Sears repairman informed us that the motherboard on the washer was bad. The cost to replace was just under $1,000 and it was not covered by warranty. A washer that costs $2,000 should last much longer than a year. The laws in most states impose a warranty of merchantability on sellers and manufacturers. If a seller puts an item on the market, it is required by law to make sure that the product is fit for its stated purpose. Now less than 10 months later, the brand new motherboard has failed again. I spoke with both the Sears and the Kenmore service representatives, who were polite. However, they were unable to offer anything satisfactory. Both offered a $320, 1-year warranty that covers repairs up to $500. Anything over $500 comes out of my pocket. Basically, a $180 benefit which is not a real benefit. I will probably sue Sears and Kenmore for the defective product to recover the purchase and repair expense. This has nothing to with their stated warranty, which is contract law. I definitely will not buy anything else from Sears or Kenmore until they improve their products and repair policy. I have seen many other similar complaints about this washer. It should have been recalled.

Kenmore appliances can usually be seen on sale during any holiday and the savings is great. This is the best value of all brands around. These dryers last many years. I have never had a warranty and I never have any problems until I have had them for at least 8 years. Also, they are nice dryers. I like the look of these appliances. The buttons are sturdy and not cheap at all. They are usually white and are very appealing.

Its a stackable front loader and its also a high efficiency and I thought it would be better than my old washer. But it doesnt seem to clean smaller loads as well as Id like and we often rewash it. Also, the front loader gets build up in the rubber around the front and cause a smell. Its difficult to clean that area too.

It makes all the sounds like its doing something, but when you open the door, nothing is happening. Its hit or miss, too. Sometimes, Ill open the door after a cycle to put the wash into the dryer, and everything on the bottom is sopping wet. Ive tried adjusting the clothes thinking it didnt spin because its unbalanced, but even empty it wont spin. Then, two hours later, it might decide to spin. When I emailed Sears, I was sent a generic email response to the effect of, Your washer only has a one year warranty, unless you purchased extended warranty... I hope this information has been helpful. You are important to us so we hope that you will continue to make Sears your first choice for future purchases. Never again!

We have a Kenmore Elite Smart Wash Quietpak 4 model 11049962603 that we bought in 08/2009 with a 2-year warranty. It is now 11/2011. The machine was replacing a 30 yr. old Maytag that still worked. Our 30 yr. old dryer had died and we thought we would buy a new energy saving set. We were sorry we did. The Maytag would probably still be working. The washer just stopped working the other day. We called Sears Repair to fix it (thats where we got it from). The repair guy came out and said the motor board needed to be replaced. He quoted us $671.13 to repair it. We paid $863.99 plus taxes for the machine (see the problem here?). We refused service at this time, because we wanted to see if something could be done about the costs. In my opinion, we would be better off getting another new machine that doesnt have 2 years of wear and tear on it (we are out $129 for the service call already).I called their 800 number to see if anything could be done. Yes, this is outsourced. I wish they would give the jobs to Americans. We need all the jobs we can get. Well, as with many others, I was told there was absolutely nothing they could do except sell me a 1-year extended warranty for $319.99. It would cover the cost of the repair guy, any parts and labor up to $500. If we take this route, we will be out $129 for the original service call, $319.99 for the warranty, and $171.13 for the costs above $500. The grand total is $620.12 (not much savings here). I called the Escalation Department at 800-376-0557 (at least, I got an American this time). Again, I was told there was nothing they could do since the warranty expired 3 months ago on my 2-year-old machine.The entire time I questioned them all on the price of the part to fix our machine. The repair guy wanted to charge us $503 for the part. On the Sears website, the part is going for $372.70. I asked everyone why such a big difference in the price to no avail. I was told, I dont know anything about the website.” Or, I was told, The repair people and the website each charge their own prices.” I was told by the repair guy that if we picked up the part ourselves, he would install it for another $129 for the call. The grand total here is $501.70 plus the $129 for the original service call. Well, if you are going to gouge customers for not only the service call but also on the parts, I am taking my business elsewhere because of the principle of it all. My husband searched the part out at other places online and we found we could pick the part up starting at $142 for a refurbish and around $225ish for new (we may fix it ourselves).

Kenmore Series 500, top loader washer with automatic load sensing - Ordered online, everything went wrong (multiple order numbers) from beginning to end. But, my biggest complaint is the actual washer. It has an automatic water sensor that doesnt give you enough water to completely wash the load. Even after two rinses, the clothes still come out with lint on my black capris (washed separately). They are not thoroughly washed and result in a big tight knot in my washer upon completion. I have tried deep wash, but theres no way to get additional water in it. The water sensor barely gives you enough water to get the clothes damp. I hate it. Give me the old fashioned one with a knob to select water level, and an agitator would be nice too. Not sure what genius decided washing clothes with no agitator and no water would be a great idea!!!

All of my washers and dryers are front load and have multiple selections on each one like the washer, hand washable, delicate, normal, casual, heavy duty, sanitary. The dryer has multiple selections also as delicate, casual, normal, bulky items, heavy duty and you can breeze the level of heat on the dryer. These have both lasted me 5 years and still going, so the quality and the reliability are very excellent. I have not had any problems with any overloading on water or breaking down on the dryer. Neither one has had any problems at all.The way both of them look they are both front-loaders and it helps with easy access of the clothes and it doesnt make noise like the top loaders when they end up going out. Theyre white, got a clear window that you can look through to see if its being overloaded or if its done or whatever. These washers have been very helpful. The price cost was not much at all. It did cost a little but it was not enough to make it to where I would not want to buy it.

All our Kenmore appliances are trustworthy, hardworking, easy to use. You dont have to pay big buck to get a great washer and dryer. There are just 2 humans, 2 dogs, and 2 birds. This was a mistake. As a retired couple the machines have had once a week use. Last week the washer started to smoke after the spin cycle and make loud off balance drum noises. The repair outfit just told me that the washer will cost over 750$ to repair and was made in Korea by another manufacturer for Sears/Kenmore. To get six years out of an expensive high end washer is consumer abuse. More fool me... Sears Canada has closed, the extended warranty no longer honored. It seems we bought a Lada disguised as a Ferrari. Advice: Stay away from Kenmore products! (Irony is my 95 year old mother has a top load Kenmore that has been chugging along reliably for 25+ years). After 52 years of great performing Maytag sets, we decided to buy into the HE type washer. The $1400.00 combined price for the Kenmore Elite top-of-the-line set was an immediate disaster (Jan.1911). From day one, both the washer AND the dryer left clothes with a nasty odor. We wiped the washer dry, left washer and dryer doors open when finished, tried bleach, vinegar, baking soda, Tide and Affresh washing machine cleaners to no avail, for (3) years.Fortunately, we bought the extended warranty for the washer ONLY and after the first year, the clutch went out. Then we had the infamous recall to fix spinning problems which resulted in increasing an already unbearable cycle time. Service Calls could not help with the odor situation and we could no longer put up with barely washed and dried smelly laundry and pitched a brand new beautiful looking washer and dryer set out the door. Replaced with a wonderful Speed Queen, American-made set.

Runs quietly and runs with reasonable dry time lengths. No issues whatsoever with its operation. It is the standard white of most dryers. It is easy to maintain a clean finish with minimal effort. Just a quick polish with a dry cloth. An occasional damp sponge to rid some extra lint. While I paid a little more for the Kenmore, the overall value is good to me because of the lack of maintenance in the long term. It dries the clothes well and keeps the clothes in overall good repair.

Whether its one load, or ten loads, I know I can count on my washer and dryer to take care of them quickly and efficiently. After following the operations manual to the tee due to frustrations of clothes not getting cleaned, this washer without the traditional agitator in the middle just DOES NOT get clothes clean. So we tested the washer for two months but when we gave up, we found out that Sears will not take them back or replace even ONE day over 30 days. I AM CONVINCED THAT SEARS LOST CONFIDENCE TO STAND BEHIND ITS PRODUCT! Equally, this is why I lost confidence and loyalty in SEARS. My wife and I have been wondering why Sears products and customer reviews have gone so bad that they have to close one hour earlier than everyone else and where did all the shoppers go? You can learn why real quickly by shopping at your nearest Costco, whose customer service is through the roof! I was willing to buy a new pair with the agitator in the middle of the drum to no avail. Sears management, what else are you looking for to gain back customer loyalty? If not interested, simply close up shop, and some other hungry retail chain will be glad to take your place.

Bought KENMORE ELITE 5.3 FRONT LOADING WASHING MACHINE from Sears in Nov 2018. After about the 10 load it made the sound of a hammer hitting it. LOUD! Only my wife & I live here and use it, roughly 20-24 loads per month. The loud banging happened about 4 times. Then began, and still continuing a shuddering noise when adding water to a wash cycle. At the end of July a SEARS TECH come out & replace both hot & cold LG intake valves. NO RESOLVE. I had been researching this situation and came across a term I wasnt familiar with-water hammer arrestor. Wont go into detail but discussed this with tech and decided Id nothing to lose but $20. Bought one each for supply valves. Tech returned 3 days later but nothing changed. Doing more research someone pointed out that for these machines 1/2 interior diameter hose should be used, not the steel wrapped hoses which are only 3/8 interior diameter. This small hose causes the velocity to come out and into washer MUCH MORE FORCEFUL. I spent $30 on HEAVY RUBBER hoses and stopped the shuttering. Until 2 weeks ago. SEARS TECH was to come out yesterday (10-31) and called to make sure Id be home. I explained the situation and was told this is a PROBLEMATIC DEFECT with these washers and cant be fixed. Said this has been an ongoing problem for 3-4 yrs. The first tech from 3 months earlier basically said the same. Also - Whats up with water ALWAYS in soap tray? My dryer is level. If fact I think SEARS installed it. One other problem: Has anyone noticed when workers come into your home they behave like they own it. These 2 tech were upset as I ask them to take their dirty shoes off and to remove whatever was attached to their belts. I told them I didnt want my walls & cabinets scratched up!

We have had an issue in the past with what I guess you would call the drum of the dryer knocking around very loudly. It cost about fifty dollars to fix, but we didnt have the money for a new washer and dryer.

I recently replaced it with a Maytag front loader only because my dryer went & felt like I needed to keep equal sized/dated pairs. The Maytag is not all I hoped it would be. Needs a lot of cleaning maintenance where the Whirlpool stayed clean & fresh smelling.

It was a white washer and dryer. The controls were all very easy to interpret and the workings of it were easy. Other than that it was decent. We never needed any maintenance on our washer and dryer. As long as we kept the lint screen clean it worked just fine. Also, not as much bubbling because of soap like some of the earlier top loaders and the clothes came out great. The washer and dryer did very well for us for the price we paid for it and lasted us years! They were both a good value and Id recommend them to anyone looking for a good deal.

I own washer and dryer top and bottom load and I own or purchased a freezer for the garage. Didnt need anything high fashion. Both product was purchase from Sears, a company that I have trusted for years.

Cut on every time I need it and always dries clothes in a reasonable amount of time. Can handle large loads of clothes at the time. Looks like any other dryer that I have owned. White with blue numbers. Paint has held up good and is dual vented so you can vent through the floor. Cost about the same as other dryers but seems to be more energy efficient. Electric bill is cheaper after purchasing this dryer.

It senses, fills, drains a little, refills, sits for hours on end. Its now a month old and I baby-sit the piece of junk otherwise it does nothing. Ive never hated anything more. It should not take hours for a load. I wanted new because the old one at least 35 years old was taking what I felt was a long time to wash. This is what I get for thinking. At least the old one ran, washed the clothes faster, I could open the lid anytime I felt like it. It actually switched cycles! I hate Kenmore, will never buy anything made by them again. Im going to buy another Brand new washer but it will not be a Kenmore! Im not scamming anyone else into this pile of garbage either. Im using it for target practice! (I live in the country so I can do that) Im recording it, sending it to Kenmore! They are the worst company out there! Bad products. Horrible customer service. Ignoring consumers just makes them angry. So good-bye Kenmore. I hate you, will post reviews about you, your horrible product everywhere. Avoid this washer! Recently purchased Kenmore washer and dryer from Sears. Used the washer first time this evening. Midway to the wash/spin cycle, it made very loud noise, vibrated severely, jumped around, its side wall hit the edge of the nearby counter top leading to a dent/scratch, crushed the pipes between the machine the wall, damaged the vent pipe of the dryer, hit the dryer and pushed it around. A broken piece of bolt flew out of the machine. I stopped the machine. There were some broken pieces of plastic on the floor behind the washer. Called 1-800-469-4663. After a long hold and 2 transfers, someone scheduled an appointment with a technician 5 days from today. Very disappointing!

Dries clothes very well. I like having the different heat options for delicate and cotton items. The anti wrinkle setting is awesome as well. I have had this dryer for a few months and have had no problems. I normally only have to run the dryer once to get everything dry unless it is bedding. Mine sit right off my kitchen so appearance was important to me. Thankfully I was able to get a matching washer as well. They go well with my other appliances. Well worth the price. The new technology makes drying easier and faster. Now if they would just make something that folds my clothes and puts them away.

This dryer may cost some money but it is worth it. I havent had a problem with it in 3 years and I got it second hand so its even older than 3 years. We use this dryer every day and it is reliable. It still works wonders for drying my familys clothes and I havent had any complications thus far. We have the white one and it looks very classy. It is also quiet and a very nice size dryer. You can fit lots of clothes in one load.

Very efficient drying clothes no matter how much clothes are inside. Lint was easy to remove after drying clothes also. It also had plenty of space for clothes. Very durable, never had heating element go out or any other issues. I had a warranty on the dryer but never had to use it. I think it was very good at drying clothes. Dryer was white in color and front loading for adding clothes to it. It has a see through door which you can watch your clothes dry. It has also a metal frame For the price of the dryer I feel it has had great value and last a very long time. I feel its a great dryer with nice features for anyone to use.

My Kenmore dryer always has a constant heat that I can depend on. I can also count on my clothes never being wadded together, some of them still damp. I can always gauge the amount of time I need to set the dryer for based on my load size; it is predictable and reliable. It is easy to remove lint from the dryer and its parts, and easy to keep clean on the outside. I have been able to put my wet clothes in, set the time, and walk away knowing when it is finished, I will be able to fold and hang my laundry and put it away without some time of wrinkle or dampness issue.

We have had both our washer and dryer for over 10 years. They are worry-free appliances with consistent high performance. I would definitely recommend Kenmore products. Very reliable. Able to wash and dry a large volume of clothes at one time. Attractive looking and hard working. The appliance size fits in nicely in our laundry area. They are also very easy to use and pretty quiet to use. Both the washer and dryer were very affordable and I would not hesitate to purchase a Kenmore product in the future. We have had no service issues ever aside from ordering replacement pieces. The appliances are over 10 years old and are used constantly!

I had a front load washer from a different manufacturer, but the pump went out after only 3 years, so I decided to try another brand. I have been very pleased so for. I needed a washer and dryer that would fit my quilts and larger items and these do the trick. They are great for those everyday items as well. I have used this brand for many years on other electrics and have never been sorry. This set has a very clean appearance and easy to use dials - not intimidating at all. They also have all of the basic wash and dry options that I need without all the ones I probably would not use anyway. The price I paid was as I expected it to be and about average compared to other options like these. The set up went very well and quickly - no trouble. I have had much more expensive sets, but have found out that I was paying for things I really did not need.

I thought I was going to get better performance from the cleaner. It was average. The dryer was ok. But expecting the cleaner to do above average of its function. It did clean the clothes but not in a above average kind of way. It lasted me for few years, except the washer had a problem in the second year of purchasing it. Good thing I had a warranty so the washer was replaced but the hassle of customer service people it was a nightmare but eventually I got a washer. Personally I like newer digital models, and the washers with doors opening from the side but those were too expensive but for my budget and my choice within my budget I was ok with the appearance of the washer and dryer. I wasnt happy with price tag for both washer and dryer, but I needed a washer and a dryer for the house. The price was steep when I purchased it but it seemed really steep when the washer broke down after two years of purchasing it.

Have had no problems the entire life of the machine. Never had It break down and have any issues. Very reliable. I bought this dryer in a traditional white color, Standard color and thats what I prefer over a color or stainless steel. Looks very up to date, stylish and still be simple. This brand and style of appliance is a very good value. One of the best prices in its category. Others you pay a lot for the brand name. On this you pay for the performance.
