Kenmore appliances always perform well and they have an excellent warranty. Never had an issue. You cannot go wrong with a Kenmore washer or dryer or any other plans for that matter. I have found Kenmore appliances to be extremely durable and reliable. I have had my Kenmore vacuum cleaner for over 15 years and its still going which is why I didnt hesitate to get a Kenmore washer. There is nothing different about the appearance of the Kenmore. What is different is the quality the warranty and the durability of the product. You will not be disappointed. The value and the quality of Kenmore is well worth the price. You cannot go wrong for something that is as reliable and durable as a Kenmore.

Only a few things to fix in a few years. So, I can live with it, but I wish that the dryer would dry faster. We have had an issue in the past with what I guess you would call the drum of the dryer knocking around very loudly. It cost about fifty dollars to fix, but we didnt have the money for a new washer and dryer.

Machine has done a good job. Have had it now for 10 years. Reliable, dependable. Hope it continues to do a good job for much longer. I would recommend it to others. Machine is extremely reliable. I have had absolutely no problems with it. Since I am the only person in my household, it doesnt get extremely heavy use, but I have had absolutely no problems with it. Appearance is fine. Fits in well in the laundry room. Clean cut looking. Goes well with dryer. Modern appearance. Not flashy, but neat looking. I wish everything I owned was as good of a value as my washing machine. I have had it for 10 years now, and if you were to prorate what I paid for it over that 10 years, it has been a really good purchase.

It is a good washer machine. Its HE efficient. The Kenmore brand is very good at producing washer/dryer machines that are of quality. The washer machine is reliable. It can fit all of my items according to its settings (like cotton, delicates, etc.). The appearance of the washer machine is satisfactory, in my opinion. The important thing is functionality of the product. The machine is efficient in its work. The value of the machine is good. The price of the machine was a fair market value price, not overly expensive.

The Kenmore washer was highlighted by the store and had a wonderful rebate incentive and reviews on them. Said it was one of the best on the market. The washer and dryer work extremely effective by drying my washables very fast and very dry and by saving power and being energy friendly. It is very durable and has endured a lot of usage by my family and me. It could be a bit more energy friendly and energy-efficient by saving me money on my power bill and saving energy being eco-saver/friendly. The filter system could be a bit stronger as well.

I purchased the pair of Kenmore Elite Oasis Canyon size washer and dryer in August of 2007. I have spent so much money on repairs, and I simply want to put it on the sidewalk with a warning sign for anyone who will take it. It began less than a year after I purchased it. First, it was the F1 code. It turns out that the control board was faulty. They paid for a portion of it, but I got stuck with the rest and the labor. Then, the dryer began acting up. It only dries the clothes on Timed Dry, and it usually takes 70 minutes to dry a load. Do you know how much power that uses? The washer has since been repaired two more times. The tub had to be replaced within the first 3 years. Now, I am getting the DL code, which means the door will not latch. There is nothing blocking this from happening. I just wish Sears would honor their products and care about their customers. I also wish Kenmore would stand behind their products. When I told the repairman that washers are supposed to last longer than a decade and he said, Not anymore.” They make them like this so they can break down, and the company can make more money. I am so sad and angry. I read the message boards from so many frustrated people like myself. We are living from paycheck to paycheck. These repairs are too costly, and so is going to the laundromat. Can someone please help us?

This thing moans and groans. Washes really slow and takes your laundry hostage for quite some time, set it on hot and cold water comes out???? The dryer has flashing lights that dont mean a thing???? Kenmore has no customer service you can talk to???? Basically INFERIOR JUNK.

I have always owned the Kenmore brand. I find the machines have a wonderful look to them. My machines always get my clothes clean and dried in a short amount of time. I am proud of the way they look and clean. I get compliments on my washer and dryer. That makes me feel that I chose the best for me and my family. I would recommend this brand above the rest of the brands. You really get your monies worth to. Christmas is coming. Reward yourselves this year.

Kenmore front loading washer, Kenmore dryer model 6800. I bought them because they were highly rated by Consumers Reports. Also, the washer was on sale. The price was good. Washer rubber gasket around the door had to be replaced after 3 years of use. Ive had the washer 7 years and the dryer 5 years. This is the third Kenmore dryer I have owned. Both machines are mid line. Both are high capacity and energy efficient.

Recently purchased Kenmore washer and dryer from Sears. Used the washer first time this evening. Midway to the wash/spin cycle, it made very loud noise, vibrated severely, jumped around, its side wall hit the edge of the nearby counter top leading to a dent/scratch, crushed the pipes between the machine the wall, damaged the vent pipe of the dryer, hit the dryer and pushed it around. A broken piece of bolt flew out of the machine. I stopped the machine. There were some broken pieces of plastic on the floor behind the washer. Called 1-800-469-4663. After a long hold and 2 transfers, someone scheduled an appointment with a technician 5 days from today. Very disappointing!

They were separate. They were white. We moved from the property and left the washer and dryer. It worked fine while we lived at the residence. My parents both have Kenmore washers and dryers and they also have had good results with them.

When I wash my sheets and pillow cases I end up with brown feather-like marks on them. This has happened on brand new sheets. Ive attached a picture so you can see what I mean. The sheets arent ripped but these marks keep appearing - not sure if its the washer or dryer that causes this. I have Kenmore Elite machines purchased in 1999. These marks dont appear on my clothes. They appear on all different brands of sheets.

Front load large capacity washer is still going strong after almost 15 years. Only issue is mold buildup behind the rubber gasket that is difficult to clean. Does a great job of cleaning. The dryer lasted only 7 or 8 years. Circuit board started on fire a year after the recall expired. Replaced with an LG dryer that is great.

I am very happy with my Kenmore appliances. They are energy efficient and work very well. They arent over priced making them a definite value. The dryer was very good. Their dryer was large enough and had various settings and temperatures to dry a large load in an appropriate amount of time. It also helped keep the clothes from wrinkling. Also, the dryer was very modern looking. Nice dials. Wasnt overly bulky or large. They definitely keep up with the changing times and designs. Never had any issues with it while I owned it. It was definitely a worry free purchase.

Both washer and dryer are solid, give great performance. Annual maintenance is all it takes. Clothes come out nice and clean. Just a little of baking soda and vinegar to clean the washing machine so that keeps smell very clean and fresh. Very pleased with unit. The dryer also requires little care other than cleaning lint from the screen. Once a year maintenance for pipe cleaning is all you need.

This dryer is energy efficient and extremely quiet. This dryer can gently dry just about anything: from sneakers and bedding to delicates and sweaters, and with low to no static. This is a very dependable machine. We have owned it for a long time and have never needed any service calls or repairs. I can almost time it to the exact minute when I put a load it - really helps with my home schedule. The model we purchased is sleek and white and adds some much-needed brightness to our tiny laundry room. It has a large capacity for its size, convenient storage pedestals, and even a lint trap cleaning reminder. This was an excellent appliance purchase. It was at the higher end of our budget, but we have never regretted it. Our clothing is gently dried with this efficient, ergonomic model, and we never have to worry about delicates being damaged or bulky items not drying properly.

May 2016, we purchased a washer and a dryer and 6 months later the dryer started making a horrible humming sound. So, we called the customer service and repair person comes out says, These products are not really the Kenmore used to be. They are made by Whirlpool just the name Kenmore goes on it. He tried to find the problem and said, Sorry the metal casing of the machine is very thin and does not absorb the sound so it produces this humming. I have called 2nd time because when the dryer is on we cannot be around in the house, once my friends were visiting and they all were uneasy. I am so sorry that last year we sold our 33 years old Kenmore washer and dryer with the house and regret doing it. All I want is to exchange with a better product even if we have to pay a little more from our pocket. For almost 35 years I have not bought any other but Kenmore and seems like this will be my last and I am determined to tell all my family and friends to stay away from these electronics. My washer and dryer are still in warranty and I am to the point where I might go to a legal route. The washer has started the showing some problems such as locking the lid, leaving soap on clothes etc. After my first service call they want me to buy warranty on both items??? Amazing, instead of improving their products they want to make more money by selling the service contract so you feel being looted twice.

I had this brand for about 7 years. They worked very well up until the washer knob stopped working unless I put a fork behind the knob to hold it in place. Also when I opened the lid, it would not stop spinning which is dangerous. The dryer did fine until the motor stopped spinning and it wasnt worth fixing. Good reasonably priced brand.

Buyer beware!!! I purchased a washer, dryer and refrigerator, all Kenmore Elite and they have been the WORST purchases I have EVER made in my life (except the dryer). It has been 3 years but my problems began within the first few months. The water never got cold from day one on the fridge door even after 2 service calls to Sears. The washer I have had to call and have repaired 6 times. Every, I mean EVERY drawer and shelf in the refrigerator and freezer broke within the first year and were not covered under warranty. This is not what you expect from a $6000.00 purchase!!! You expect more peace of mind from expensive appliances but the technicians from Sears kept telling me that the items are crappy and not Kenmore at all. They just slap their names on them. I am considering taking my complaints on to the Better Business Bureau and anyone else I can find to complain to.

We purchased a Kenmore Elite front load washer and dryer in 2011. In the same year that the one-year warranty expired, the washer quit working. The Sears repairman informed us that the motherboard on the washer was bad. The cost to replace was just under $1,000 and it was not covered by warranty. A washer that costs $2,000 should last much longer than a year. The laws in most states impose a warranty of merchantability on sellers and manufacturers. If a seller puts an item on the market, it is required by law to make sure that the product is fit for its stated purpose. Now less than 10 months later, the brand new motherboard has failed again. I spoke with both the Sears and the Kenmore service representatives, who were polite. However, they were unable to offer anything satisfactory. Both offered a $320, 1-year warranty that covers repairs up to $500. Anything over $500 comes out of my pocket. Basically, a $180 benefit which is not a real benefit. I will probably sue Sears and Kenmore for the defective product to recover the purchase and repair expense. This has nothing to with their stated warranty, which is contract law. I definitely will not buy anything else from Sears or Kenmore until they improve their products and repair policy. I have seen many other similar complaints about this washer. It should have been recalled.

They have been good, but the dryer is dying after ten years. It is a stack unit, and I am not impressed with the dryer at all. The washer is awesome, and is full size which is also excellent. Honestly, it just keeps on working, other than the dryer not being really effective. I thought it was due to the venting. But I changed the hose and that still doesnt work.

I have the best machine and Im really satisfied with it. I want a second machine to get more done. My taste in dryers varied over the years with the new technology coming out. It has a unique appearance that draws your attention. The features work great. It has the top quality mark like I expected when I made the decision to purchase it. The value has a pristine feel. I like the way the machine functions well with multiple loads after one another. It has the best parts in the business.

Both washer and dryer are large capacity loaders, energy efficient, they have multiple heat settings, affordable priced. I would recommend them. I can load this washing machine and dryer to the max and the clothes come out clean and bright, they dont take long to dry. I can dry on low as efficiently as if it were on regular and save money. Plain white enamel, they have simple knobs with 3-4 different laundry and dry settings. They both hold large capacity laundry batches. They are valuable to me as they were not expensive and they keep the cost down per load because they are both energy efficient. They both have special features as far as bleach dispenser and fabric softener dispensers go.

This machine is so much better than my last dryer. It seems to dry my clothes much faster, and I only need it for one cycle. It has saved me a lot of money on my energy bills every month. It never disappoints. Always get the same quality out of every load. You can fit quite a bit into it, and your clothes wont come out wrinkly. Its a great-looking dryer, and the performance is even better than the looks. I wasnt sure it would be the right fit for me at first, but Im glad I went with the salespersons opinion. It does cost a bit much compared to a lot of other products out there, but believe me when I say the money you will save on your energy bill will make up for that.

It was broken down more than it was working. Lots of service calls over & over again. Did not clean clothes like it should have. Most of the time we had to re-wash the clothes a second time. It was not at all dependable. When it did work you had to wash the clothes a second time as it did not always get them clean. It was so loud you thought it was an airplane taking off. It was just a regular top loading washer and a normal electric dryer. It was about 35 years ago when we had these units. It was nothing fancy. Just a basic top load model. Would not recommend the Kenmore brand at all. We just did not have good luck with purchasing their brands at all. We know other people who had good luck with them but for us unfortunately it was the total opposite.

I was raised in a household of Kenmore appliances. So when I married and started setting up house, it was only natural to get Kenmore appliances. My first washer and dryer were Kenmore. When those quit working, after many years, I got another set of Kenmore washer and dryer. Again I was very happy with them. If they ever needed service, the Sears service people were very good. They made the repair quickly and efficiently. When I went to get my third set of appliances from Sears, I found that the prices had gone up terribly high. I could get the same machines in the Whirlpool brand for about 2/3 of the price. That is what I have now, Whirlpool. Same great product... but less expensive.

Well, it dries clothes faster than any other models I have had. Also very energy efficient. My electric bill has lowered since I purchased this model. I have owned one for about 3 yrs now and I have no problems or had to replace anything. It looks good and matches up well with my washing machine. It has several speeds. Also matches up to any existing appliances you might own. I prefer the front loader instead of the top loader. The style is more attractive. The price you cant beat. For the power you will receive with this dryer, it drys in half the time of your ordinary dryer and will use less energy as well. I would recommend to a family or friend.

I bought my appliances refurbished when I bought my house over three years ago and they are still in perfect condition. I have absolutely no complaints about my washing machine or my clothes dryer. I would definitely recommend Kenmore products to friends and family members. If and when I need to make a new purchase for these items I will be choosing Kenmore.

Kenmore series100 - This washer just doesn’t get it done. Our first so called HE washer. The quality is poor. Too many plastic parts. The cleaning ability is abysmal. Even a small load comes out with lint and gunk not rinsed out. Whatever happened to old school washers? Why were they so bad that they don’t make them anymore? Our last machine was 25 years old before I repaired it myself. After 30 years the transmission gave up. Time for something new? Too bad! After 7 months the locking switch device malfunctioned. It was warranty and the repairman said, Get ready to buy another machine in 5 years. What a joke.

My last washer/dryer set was Maytag. Had it 13 yrs, never a service call. Left it in our house when we sold it. Went & bought new Kenmore set. After reading some of these reviews about Kenmore...always reliable, run forever etc. Thats what I thought. Had Kenmore in past & was happy. Well...times have changed!! Im not a top of the line person...paying for bells & whistles Im not even going to use. This model 25132 is mid-line but doesnt have the big agitator, but 4.3 capacity for BIG loads.1st mth I hated it...noisy, walking all over when it spun. Called them out. Serviceman said nothing wrong with it...was I using proper detergent. HE!! What!!! Detergent makes it vibrate. I think not. Married 50 yrs. Have never had a new washer do this. BTW was using proper detergent. 3 yr mark agitator plate went out...stripped. Replaced that. Im sure all the shaking & vibrating had something to do with that. Now 3 mths later, vibrating sooo BAD hits the walls, turns sideways etc. Called out service again. Drum is bent again, Im sure from all the banging around. Costly repair. So am just going to take repair money & buy new washer. But reading reviews, seems like every brand has some of the same issues. Repairman said Whirlpool has bought Maytag & other brands therefore everything has gone downhill. Really disappointing!!!

My Kenmore Calypso is 14 years old. No work EVER done on it. If it broke down tomorrow I cannot complain. My appliance repairman came out to work on my ice maker and he said I must be the only pet on planet Earth that has not had a problem with that washer but again no problems. My dryer is a Whirlpool with knobs. No electronics, it is 10 years old electric dryer. No problems ever.

Clothes come out very clean, never backs up or becomes uneven. Doesnt use an abundance of electricity or water. Large enough to wash comforters and bedspreads in easily. Can do a couple sets of sheets, whole load of towels. I wash a lot of clothes and usually have an overloaded clothes basket but never have a problem with fitting anything in it. White machines can get dusty very easily, especially with the dryer right next to it but it is very easy to clean inside and out. No rust whatsoever. Didnt have to pay an arm and a leg for a good washing machine. Have had it for quite a while and have never had any issues with it, which is amazing considering how much it gets used (which is daily, if not twice a day).

All clothes were not shrink by using Kenmore. Have features I want and easy to use. The most important thing is save water and electricity. I am very happy when I change my washer and dryer to Kenmore.

Works great and is very reliable. Like the performance. I wash everyday and I am very satisfied with the performance of both really great products. I use 3 to 4 times a day and wash blankets and all my curtains. Mine came in several different colors. I picked tan to match my decor and the trim is also optional. Very sleek in design - shines like a penny. I would say it is a value for the money I paid. Will last almost a lifetime. I will not have to replace for several years. Really works like a commercial washer and dryer for home use. It is well worth the price.

I have both a Kenmore front loading washer and matching gas dryer. I have had them for about five years and have found both of them to be both durable and long lasting. I wash a lot of clothes through them including all the mom heads, aprons, and rags from the restaurant and they have never shown any sign of faltering. The washer gets out all of the oils and grease from the rags no problem. I know this is not how you are supposed to use a household machine but it doesnt bother it. Thank You Kenmore.

I have both a washer and dryer made by Kenmore. They were a housewarming gift from my aunt and uncle back in 2003 when we moved into our house, and they are still going strong with no issues ever. I use our washer and dryer a lot, and they have never given me even a minute of trouble. I like it that Kenmore produces products that are built to last. I will continue to purchase Kenmore products in future and I will recommended them to everyone I know. I also like it that my Kenmore washer and dryer are very low maintenance. The only maintenance I ever really do are I clean out the dryer filter regularly and I run the occasional vinegar rinse through the washer to keep it fresh. Other than that, there hasnt been the need for any more maintenance!!! Thank you Kenmore!

Both my washer and dryer are used. Probably 15 years old at least. I have had to replace a belt on the washer and the element in the dryer. Not a big deal though, they are easy to get parts for and work on.

Ive had the dryer for over 6 years. I dont know how long it was in my home before I purchased the house so Im not sure the real age of the dryer but Ive only had to replace the belt on it once and havent had any other major repairs to it. Ive even let other friends and family use it over the years and its still going strong.

Always worked good. Had no problems with it. Easy to work with. Kids could do it too, easy instructions. It had a warranty. We are a big family. It tell me when its done. We use it almost everyday. Dries good, never had to do loads twice in dryer. Looks good, easy to move around, good color on it. Nice people to deal with. We will buy another one someday. We got a good deal on it, was on sale. Nice salesman, good delivery.

Dries clothes very well. I like having the different heat options for delicate and cotton items. The anti wrinkle setting is awesome as well. I have had this dryer for a few months and have had no problems. I normally only have to run the dryer once to get everything dry unless it is bedding. Mine sit right off my kitchen so appearance was important to me. Thankfully I was able to get a matching washer as well. They go well with my other appliances. Well worth the price. The new technology makes drying easier and faster. Now if they would just make something that folds my clothes and puts them away.

I like the sleek look with very detailed instructions and large tubs. They get clothes very clean in the washing and they dry quickly and the clothes come out soft and with very few wrinkles. They are stylish and last a very long time and are always dependable. I can always count on Kenmore to give me the results I am looking for and expect in the washers and dryers. I will continue to purchase Kenmore. Kenmore products are reliable and quiet when in use and always do the job.

Very easy to use, easy to keep clean, works very well. The washer almost 15 years and it went through two families. And even a few children showing up from college to do their laundry, so I am very pleased with these product, and the next one I bought was the same product also. I own a washer and a dryer for years, I had very little repair done to either one of them, then I needed repair. They came out very quickly, done a very nice and fast job, clean up any messes that they did, made sure the machine was up and running right before the repair man left which I always really like, cause a lot just say it is fixed and leave, so I will always be please with this product. I have always thought that this product was a good looking, even though it was in my basement and really no one ever seen it unless they did laundry, but I feel if the machine set out where anyone could see it I would be proud of the machine, cause it is a nice looking machine. These machine I found when I had to buy a new one was the best value around. And of course they were one only ones I really looked at because they are a well working machine and (if) it broke down, it wasnt a problem to find someone to fix anything that was wrong, and usually it could be fixed which I like a lot.

We bought our Kenmore washer/dryer in 1980. We replaced them in 2013. For 33 years, they worked very well. There were small problems which my husband was able to buy parts from Sears and fix himself. We never had a major problem with either appliance. We replaced them with a different brand, and we wish we had keep the old appliances. Our clothes do not get as clean, even with using special detergent pods with cleaning boosters. The new dryer goes crazy and either doesnt dry the clothes thoroughly or runs too long. I cannot say it enough -- WE SHOULD HAVE STUCK WITH KENMORE!

Bought my top load washing machine with matching dryer 11 years ago and have never had any issues with it. My 19 year old grandson does his own laundry too and figured out all the features on his own.

Was used but last for some years and I sold it in a garage sale. I wanted to buy a new model and a pair for my new home. I dont remember the exact model. But worked well and never have a problem. The washer was big and I used for my husbands working clothes. He was working in construction later as a metal welder. Worked great. I washed covers, jeans, not a problem. My washer was a top loader, white, has 4/5 cycles, since was used when we bought it had some scratches but panel was fine. Nothing out of ordinary for a regular washer. We bought the pair washer and dryer as a pair, from a paper classified, so was a real bargain and last more than expected. Since that time sometimes regret spending money for new ones. But the new models are really good too.

It washes all my clothes and keeps them smelling fresh for longer. It is also gentle on softer fabrics and doesnt cause intimates to fall apart. It is also very convenient and easy to use. It provides the best value for what its worth. The machine has been working for 2 years and has not had any serious malfunctions and works as if its brand new. It looks modern and new. Every time I have people over, people are always complimenting and talking about how good the washer looks in the room. Fits the house perfectly. Totally worth the price. I would not pay anything less for a better value. If I had the option to choose another dryer, I would still choose the same brand.

I love this machine. This dryer is flexible to help me do everything I need it to do. The wrinkle guard feature is as good as an extra set of hands. There is nothing better than knowing that your garments are in the best of places to get dry. No matter what setting I use to get a variety of fabrics dry under the best of circumstances it drys my heavy jeans and towels to perfection. I can also rely on the machine to gently dry fine washables on gentle air, no heat cycles. My Kenmore appliance has brought us years of good service. And this machine has been with our family for a long time and it still looks like a modern dryer. I have no complaint about the wear and tear. It looks great and hides its age quite well. And I still find it to be quite energy efficient.

Great products. Clothes came out fresh and clean and dryer has wrinkle guard and automatic sensor. Can handle large loads including queen size comforters. Never have had any problems or needed service.

Kenmore Front Loading washer and dryer, 7 years. Like the front loading and water/electricity efficiency. The dryer is humidity intolerant according to the service department. Control boards have been replaced twice since we bought it. Having to repair a brand new dryer is not something that we expected. Will not purchase from Kenmore again. The control boards are NOT cheap. The feature list for the washer and dryer are long. Many different cycles for both the washer and dryer and the washer has custom cycles. The dryer is not as efficient as it should be and sometimes takes multiple cycles to dry items such as jeans and blankets. This does not however make up for the multiple repairs on the dryer within the first 2 years of ownership.

Can occasionally be lagging, the washer never gave issues but dryer sometimes requires extra dry time. The pair lasted for years. One of best sets Ive owned. Only occasional issues. Some machines have a much greater times where they dont work properly. For how long the product lasted, Id say it only had a few bad days. For the house layout we had, the machines appearance worked fine. Not too bulky, lots of room for moving around and not bumping into the machines all of the time. Color was subtle and always felt comfortable doing laundry with them. Lasted forever. Only need to get new ones when I moved into a smaller place in the city and needed some more space for other storage reasons. Well worth the investment.

Bought both washer and dryer. Have lasted 5 years. So far no major problems. Very happy with my decision to buy new. I believe that is why they have lasted so long but I also only have a household of 2 so not much wear and tear in that area.

I love my Kenmore dryer and washer and I have not had any major issues such as repair issues. Its one of the best things Ive ever used as a matter of fact. It is very reliable and does a great job. Its exterior is simply nothing fancy. It fits in place without needing any extra space and once you get it running it does the washing and drying without a hitch and it does not need a whole lot of maintenance. I like it a lot. You will get your moneys worth for what you pay for and it works, no gimmicks. Everything is absolutely perfect with this product and I rate it very highly. I will recommend it to anyone who wants a good wash and dryer.

It is extremely efficient and holds up a lot better than most smart washers and dryers. I have never had a single bad issue with it and it takes a very short time to dry my clothing. Almost twice as fast as our old dryer. It is quite large and fits all of my clothing in it at one time. I love my dryer. I would say if I was ever in the market for another appliance I would look to this brand first. Its a front load dryer with a see through door and it has a steel drum. You can watch your clothing dry right in front of your eyes. It makes washing and drying your clothes easy. It wasnt the cheapest model that I could find, but that doesnt bother me because sometimes you have to pay a little extra to get a very good value. I dont regret this purchase. I got my moneys worth and more.

Purchased July 2011. Motor died March 2012. Rotary belt needed service January 2013. Now with lid open machine with begin new wash cycle on its on for the past week or so. There is a short in the electronics. We need to unplug the machine and then plug it back in between loads. There are 2 of us and do about 3 to 4 loads of easy laundry a week. So now after 4 years our efficient washer will be added to the local landfill. We grew on Kenmore and will never buy another. The heating element in the dryer purchased at the same time is fading. After reading reviews were not alone.

Always dependable getting the job done, even when its a big load of towels getting dry on the first time Ive seen! Towels and they are free to go. With a sleek and sophisticated appearance, there are no worries if someone would happen to see the laundry room. Nice color choice will go with any color scheme. Great performance at any price, but at what this dryer is priced is a steal. Although even double the price would still be worth it for the beginning of summer has started.

This was my first experience with an HE washer and I was hesitant but since I could not find a reliable/well rated old fashioned washer like I wanted, I took the plunge and I was EXTREMELY glad I did! Kenmore 65132 7.0 cu. ft. Electric Dryer w/ SmartDry Plus Technology White. I bought this because it was the match to the washer. The clothes really come out so much cleaner and although this is not a super capacity washer compared to other models I was able to wash a king size comforter (yippee) however I cannot say the same for the dryer. It did fit in but there was not much room for tumbling so I had to stop and reposition it myself several times to ensure complete drying. Note to self-> in the future dont buy the matched pair especially since there was no cost savings in doing so. Other than that it dries fine. I dont need a lot of bells and whistles so I looked for a basic washer. Good ratings are paramount if I dont have a relatives or friends recommendation; and of course I always want to find it on sale with free delivery. Having repair issues are always a red flag but especially since our set-up is on the second floor I avoided any models w/ reviews that had a mention of leak issues. This is a basic full size washer with a lot of different settings to choose from if needed (Normal; Delicates; Bulky/Bedding; Whites; Heavy Duty; Casual; DeepWash; Express; Soak). The dryer has the usual basic cycles. It has a end of cycle buzzer that can be switched to off if so desired. There is an inside light. The door opens down (instead of to the side) which is nice to catch what is being taken out. The washer/dryer pair ran about $947.00 after discounts.

I hate, hate, hate this washer! I have found the fastest, most reliable way to use this washer is to only use the normal/casual cycle. If there is ever an inbalance, EVER, you are screwed. The washer asks you to rebalance the wet load after which it adds MORE water which causes the load to remain unbalanced asking you to rebalance the load to which it adds EVEN MORE ** water, and on and on and on. The only solution is to take out all the clothes and hand wring them. There is no spin only cycle only rinse and spin. What kind of machine doesnt have a spin only cycle? This POS! You can tell the designers have never done a load of laundry. The first time this happened it took 5 hours for one load. As I write Im trying to wash a winter jacket. Its taken 3 hours and Ive resorted to stomping out the water in the shower before I put it in the dryer. As for the length of a wash cycle, dont count on washing more than one load per day. There isnt time for more.

This washer is promoted as a large load, energy-efficient design. If you put more than half a load the washer spins so out of control that it shakes my whole 2 story house. Then it starts the rinse cycle again and drains in an attempt to even out the load. One time I let it progress to 10 extra cycles until I could not take it anymore and had to unplug, empty clothes wet, ring out by hand and then put in the dryer. The fact there has not been a recall or a buyback program is a joke. Whatever engineer designed, tested and put this to market should be ashamed of themselves.

Ive never had any issues with Kenmore. It always does a good job drying - at times if I am drying a large item (like a comforter) I dry it twice. Its not fancy - but its got a simple and clean look and I like that. Its very simple with not many settings options - but its not ugly or old looking. We were looking for a budget dryer after having a more expensive one and having lots of issues with it. We feel like we get a ton of bang for our buck with our simple Kenmore. However, I wish it had more temperature options and more time options - maybe a fluff cycle. Overall its a good, sturdy and reliable dryer!

Cut our electric bill down from our last dryer. We love it and will only own Kenmore. It dries in super fast time and weve never had an issue. It has super clear instructions and buttons, even my kids use it with no problems. We highly recommend this dryer to anyone. VERY VERY reliable. It dries in one third of the time our old dryer took. It has saved us so much money. Kenmore is the best. Most useful investment we have ever bought. Very easy to use and functional. Simple buttons and options. We paid a very very good price for ours. Kenmore washers are good at getting most pretreated stains, such as dog paw dirt and organic stuff. Kenmore dryers are superior and get my clothes dry in half the time of my old Maytag! I even had a Filter Queen that I loved but Kenmore beats that all to pieces. Kenmore always has been reliable and I imagine they will remain that way.

Its performance is great! Enough room for everything and dries faster than most other dryers. I am really happy with the way it works and am beyond satisfied with its performance. I do believe it is reliable but have had some minor issues with it. Other than some minor issues it is great. I love the way it looks. That is one of the reasons that it was picked. It is a very good looking machine and would pick again solely on its appearance. The performance and other features are definitely more than what is on standard machines so the price is worth the value to me.

I have purchased a Kenmore double stacked washer and dryer that has never failed me. I loved to use this for all my washing need. Its quiet and really gets my clothes clean. It has great reliability. It has never broke down. Its smart washer and dryer to have. I love the big cycles that it can capacitate. I have a good size one. It is silver. It is a kind of chrome style. Its very shiny. It is very appealing. I like this clover because it is great. It has a large drum for maximum use. It is a washer and dryer that I would recommend. Im not really sure what else you want me to say about it. I think that this is a great value for what I got. It is very durable. I have had it for quite a couple of years. I love the way it performs and could not ever see myself with it.

It works great when you have a full load and super easy to apply the settings you want. My clothes always end up wonderfully clean as well as amazingly fresh before I put it into the dryer or hang my clothes out to clothes dry. I find that this type of washer that I own is really reliable because I can wash whatever I want whenever I need to without worrying if it will break down on me just like my last washer. I all around love using it. I will admit that the appearance brings me to be satisfied with the product however I would like the appliance to have more color. White and black are such dull colors these days. Its drab. When I first got this washer I though the price was too good to be true. Fortunately when the manager to the store confirmed that the price that was posted was certainly true, I decided to buy it right away.

It can handle a good size load of laundry. The results are above average. I would not expect anything less from Kenmore. Its not very loud either. Its nice to wash laundry and not have to hear loud noises. Kenmore has always been a reliable brand for years. My model is no different. I go through laundry rather quickly and I can count on it to get the results I need for a clean and pleasant wash.It is white with a smooth finish. It has all the gadgets you need and more. My favorite feature is the wrinkle guard. Sometimes I just dont have the time to iron so it comes in handy wrinkle-free right out of the dryer. Its valuable because it saves time. Time is very valuable in my household. Some other models take longer to get the same results. This one is fast and effective and meets my daily or weekly needs.

Purchased dryer in 2013, just got it paid off and dryer started shutting off after a few minutes and getting error code CE. We have had the venting system cleaned by professional and new vent hose checked and there was no lint blockage. Repairman said it was motor. He put one that didnt work. He came back and put on new heating element... then didnt work. I have been without a dryer for 3 weeks. It will work if I unhook machine from dryer vent. What is the problem. I have seen many other complaints about Sears unable to fix this machine?

We have had both our washer and dryer for over 10 years. They are worry-free appliances with consistent high performance. I would definitely recommend Kenmore products. Very reliable. Able to wash and dry a large volume of clothes at one time. Attractive looking and hard working. The appliance size fits in nicely in our laundry area. They are also very easy to use and pretty quiet to use. Both the washer and dryer were very affordable and I would not hesitate to purchase a Kenmore product in the future. We have had no service issues ever aside from ordering replacement pieces. The appliances are over 10 years old and are used constantly!

I have no complaints other than it doesnt control lint as well as the old one did. Overall its pretty good. I pre-soak bad stains and it does a good job of washing them out. It hasnt asked yet but this is a stacker washer dryer unit...about 15 years old now.

Kenmore...durability, reliability, great brand. Repairs are almost non-existent with Kenmore appliances. My dryer is about 8 years old, and my washer is 17 years old and still going strong with almost NO repairs! I want to have a large enough size washer and dryer that I can do huge loads, appliances that are energy efficient, good price, good warranty, repair service to my home, long lasting, brand reputation. I would have to say that poor quality and excessive repairs would be the biggest deal breaker for me. I have never had this sort of problem with any Kenmore appliances that I have purchased! My washer and dryer are both the top lid models with a center post. I bought the washer long before the front loading models were available, and although I could have purchased a newer type of dryer, I am quite happy with the old drum model.

4It looks better than some of the other options we considered. It was reasonably priced too for what we paid for it. There were some that were less money but this seemed to be a better value. The salespeople at Home Depot were extremely helpful and open. It has a capacity that is enough for our needs. It is also not super bulky and fits neatly in our laundry closet. The dryer is stacked on top of it. Its very reliable and it isnt too noisy. We use it at least once a day and the clothes come out smelling great and thoroughly clean.

I bought this washer and dryer set less than a year ago from Sears, first mistake. The dryer works okay however the washer is a piece of junk. The water doesnt fill higher than the clothes. My clothes never come out clean, its very inefficient because we have to re-wash the clothes so I end up using more water and detergent. I wish I could attach pictures.

I bought a Kenmore washer and dryer. They were brand new. Ive had them since May 2014. I really like the performance of each machine. The washer has a cycle on it that allows you to rinse and spin. Comes in handy when you forget the Downy. I have had two different sets of washer and dryers. The first one was a Whirlpool. My second set is Kenmore. Out of the two, Im very happy with my Kenmore.

It gives the clothes that fresh clean like they are new again. I love it. Gives the impression that Im not wasting money at a laundromat. They have a very long life. If anything happens it’s a quick easy fix and working like new again. You cant get a product thats made with such great pride anymore. The washer has a huge washing area and is quiet from start until finish. You dont even know its done with. As silent as it is the dryer works wonders. The set isnt nearly as much as lesser sets that you would have lots of issues with. Just get this set and leave it to your grandkids. It will last that long.

I was not impressed with this washer. I went from using a regular washer to this and the clothes didnt come clean even on a small load. The washer barely filled with water and some of the clothes came out of the wash still having dry spots on them from where they didnt even get wet. This washer was not reliable because the clothes didnt get clean and some didnt even get wet. Not to mention that it takes over an hour to wash one load of laundry. The washer looked nice but it just didnt wash good. I sent it back after 3 days of use. The metal that the washer was made from also seemed kind of flimsy. I paid over a thousand dollars for the washer and dryer set and was very disappointed. It used very little water and didnt even cover the clothes leaving dry spots on some of the clothes from not agitating very well.

It does a good job getting the clothes clean. Best purchase choice I have made in a long time. I would definitely recommend it for doing a great job cleaning any size load. It is a good color, matches the dryer. Modern look piece of furniture. Makes a good addition to your laundry room. Cost efficient. It was well worth the money I paid for it. Happy with the washer.

Sears Kenmore front loading washer and dryer with service agreement. Machines frequently broken. Under service agreement it takes a minimum of 3 weeks to get machines repaired and sometimes as long as 6. Service appointments are in 8 hour window disrespecting time of the consumer. I will not purchase any additional Kenmore appliances as I am tired of frequent breakdowns and long time until the machines are repaired.

Do not. I repeat do not buy this appliance. I purchased a stackable Kenmore washer and dryer FIVE MONTHS ago from Sears and it has broken down TWICE! I have been without a W&D for nearly a month and all I get from Sears is a shoddy product and poor customer service. And delay, delay, delay. Go to Lowes or the guy on the corner. I am sure you will get a better quality product and customer care.

The model number of these two Kenmore refrigerators is 106 71194101; S/N for the one in our kitchen is EM2815239, the S/N for the one in our basement is EM3413223. The refrigerator in our kitchen started depositing water in the cabinet area, coming out of the tower. I placed a container under the tower to catch the water and this continued for a week, when we finally called the service department. The service representative knew immediately what was wrong with the refrigerator. He said it was frozen up and was depositing the water that should be going into the defrost pan into the cabinet area via the tower. He said it was a faulty design of this particular model refrigerator. He tore the entire freezer area apart and there was ice accumulated on the coils and under the bottom pan of the freezer area. This cost us $140 (a senior discount). Just a couple of weeks ago, this refrigerator again started to deposit water in the cabinet area, so we knew what the problem was and we tore the freezer area apart, as the service representative had done and removed all the ice that had once again accumulated in the freezer area. These refrigerators are supposed to be frost-free and this is getting to be quite a job, as in the last week, we also found water had accumulated in our basement refrigerator. Quite a large amount of water was in the cabinet as we do not get into this refrigerator daily. So once again, we had to put all the food in coolers and dismantle the freezer and had to use a hair dryer, due to the fact that the ice had become very thick around the tower and we could not remove the bottom pan until we melted it. This is getting very annoying and a lot of work having to remove all the food from the freezer and trying to keep it frozen, so it wont spoil. We have been very loyal customers of Sears. We have always had Sears washers and dryers, many tools have been purchased by my husband, lawn mowers, blowers, etc. Actually, I worked for Sears in the Credit Dept. Canton, OH after my graduation in 1948, until I was married in 1949. I was a very active shopper from the catalog, for our children, when I was working, made if very convenient to use. Just had to pick up the items at the catalog dept. I still buy many things of clothing for our grandchildren and great-grandchildren from Sears. We are so disappointed in these 2 refrigerators. I would like to know if you have any suggestions as to how the poor design of these refrigerators can be corrected so they do not freeze up. Thank you. In Aug 2013 I replaced my old Kenmore Front Load washer, that I had purchased in 2005, with the Kenmore Elite Model 41172211 Washer. My old Front loader had worked great most of the time. In the 8 years we had it I replaced a pump and had to replace a set of drum shocks but other than that it worked great. One thing I never had a problem with was mold and mildew growing in the washer. I very seldom had to clean it out and never worried about having to leave the door open. Our clothes were always cleaned very well.However, the new Front Load Elite Model # 41172211 has been nothing but problems since we got it. There was an odd odor right from the start. And there is a constant fight to keep mold and mildew from growing in areas along the rubber boot. I leave the door open. Run bleach through it on the Clean Washer cycle usually at least every 2 weeks. Really water efficient. I think not. Not when you have to run cleaning cycles all the time without a load in it. The other problem is that my wife has a beauty shop and we wash a lot of her towels in the machine. With my old machine there was never a problem getting the hair out of the towels. Every time I run a load of her towels I have to wipe hair off of the glass on the door and out of the rubber boot. And dont tell me I need to clean the screen because I do that about once a week.I grew up with my parents always having a Kenmore washer and dryer. I have been married for 32 years now and my wife and I have only had Kenmore washers and dryers up to this point. But if this is the quality of Kenmore front loaders I will NEVER buy another Kenmore. As far as Im concerned this machine has an engineering deficiency that needs to be corrected and Sears/Kenmore has a public relations nightmare with this washer.Sears needs to make good for anyone having mold problems in these machines by either refunding our purchase price so we can go elsewhere and get a machine a decent machine or replacing what we have with a model that doesnt have a mold problem. I know personally I am considering seeking a lawyer that specializes in class action litigation. I have seen enough people posting about this problem not only on this site but many others about this specific problem. If it wasnt a design/engineering problem then my old machine would have grown mold and it didnt.

We have had the dryer for a little over a year and recently the tumbler has been making a lot of noise and other movements while on cycle. Have had to take the back off and replace some parts on the new dryer because they wouldnt cover it in the warranty.

Easy to use - taught kids how to use when 9. Each one washed own clothes once a week. Wanted kids to be ready to go to college. Also to be able to take care of self. Kenmore allowed them to grow as self reliant people. Love it and easy to use. Children can use. WAS EASY TO transfer clothes from washer to dryer - I would still have - however one of the kids I babysat for sat on lid and broke it. Washer and dryer basic white controls on top with ease of use. Kept clean with a wipe. Good value - great warranty. Shouldnt need however you always do. Kenmore is a brand you can trust. When I was younger Kenmore was a brand that was passed down the family. Things were made good.

They were both extremely reliable. They were both spacious. I could do all my clothes in one afternoon. Ive never had a problem with them breaking down. I expect them to last for at least 5 more years. I believe this to last for many more years. The reliability of Kenmore is astounding. I am writing so that Kenmore 600 Series washer is taken off the market. I paid a lot of money for this machine and it is awful. Doesnt get the clothes clean. Sometimes the clothes come out with dry spots. How can the clothes get clean if they are not in water. I have owned Kenmore washers and dryers even appliances over the last 45 years and have never had any trouble. Or my laundry come out dirty. I moved and sold my old washer and dryer. I kick myself everyday for not bringing it with me but I had it for 15 years and thought it wouldnt make the trip. Why would you change your washing machine to the piece of crap I am stuck with until I can afford a new machine. Which I will research before I buy. Shame on you Kenmore.
