This refrigerator was good quality, it was reliable. Would of enjoyed one of the stainless steel models with the sleeker look and more modern design, but this fridge was fine. It was easy to keep clean even though its white. Also, it was a good size for my family (myself, husband, and one child). There was plenty of room and extra for everything we need. I tend to cool a few big meals on Sunday to last a few days and need to store it in large tupperware or pots and that can take up a lot of room but I had it with this fridge. We had it for years with no problems and I didnt feel like this fridge option was overpriced. I like this brand and its a trusted name so I felt comfortable with what we were purchasing. I would recommend this fridge and this brand.

I have had Kenmore and two other Sears refrigerators over the last 30+ years. This Kenmore Elite side by side has been very good. I had one small maintenance problem a few years back and Sears come to my small town 83 miles from their service center and did the repair at no expense to me. The only problem Ive had since is the fridge door handle is getting loose and I have emailed and spent quite some time online trying to see how to fix this. No luck to date.

I like the stainless steel outside, which is easy to keep clean, but the door doesnt hold a full dozen eggs. So I have mixed feelings about our refrig. Next time I buy a refrigerator, I will definitely make sure the door is the right size.

I researched several brands of refrigerators and Kenmore has always been a good brand for me. My expectations have been met and passed. I found this one on sale and the price was very good. I like the three doors and I like the freezer on bottom so I can reach everything, like ice maker tray. I also like the stainless-steel color, the adjustable shelves inside and the separate vegetable and meat compartments. It provides what I need. But the freezer could be a bit larger because I freeze a lot of food.

It is the top of a line refrigerator. We never had any issues with its performance. We had problems with other brands in the past but not this product. It has a larger refrigerator size and roomy drawers for your produce. The freezer side could be a bit larger but in general I was very pleased with the size. I love the stainless steel look for my kitchen appliances so I was very happy with the appearance. It rarely showed fingerprints so I didnt have to clean it often. This refrigerator was not the cheapest one we shopped for but I am willing to pay more for a quality product. I was happy with the quality of the product for the price.

After purchasing Kenmore 106.51773510 we had a service tech come out to check why it did not produce much ice. He verified that it produced the proper amount of ice - 8 cubes every 1.5+ hours. This large side by side can barely produce enough ice for a single person, let alone a family.

Kenmore Model 106.62153111 - I purchased this refrigerator in June 2014 and got it with the stainless doors; big mistake. Kenmores stainless steel doors are the worst and show every mark even when sealed with a good stainless steel after market finish, so stay away from their stainless door offerings. The other thing I was NOT advised of by my salesperson was the fact that this fridge/freezer has only ONE THERMOSTAT for both the refrigerator and freezer compartments. What this means is that no matter how many times I have called for service and they have replaced the thermostat and reset everything, as soon as it gets hot outside (Im in NJ), there is no way stuff in the freezer compartment stays frozen; ice cream becomes a sludgy soup, veggies are limp instead of crisp and ice cubes are nonexistent. If one of the service persons does get it to function in the freezer, then all my produce in the lower drawers also freeze.This is the worst design for a refrigerator I have ever encountered and my advice to you is to always inquire about the controls in the unit you are thinking about purchasing. MAKE SURE THERE ARE TWO - one for the freezer AND one for the refrigerator. I am still waiting to see just what Sears will do about this ongoing problem which seems to have no long term remedy.

I had a Kenmore refrigerator 10 yrs ago and it was the best I ever had. I brought it brand new and it lasted a long time without giving me any problems. I recommended it to family and friends to get one and they did and they enjoy it as well. And some of them still has their Kenmore and even purchased more Kenmore products because they really enjoy the service that it gives. Its totally bigger than my first Kenmore and the bottom freezer is also what I really like as well my kids can easily get the Ice cream out without thing falling on their head and I can easily reach in the freezer and get things I need without moving stuff around that would fall on me. So yes! Kenmore is better!

It keeps food in freezer at right temperature and food in bottom of fridge at right temperature. It is small but the space in my kitchen is small. What I like the best about it is the price. For a small fridge it is very roomy inside. The compartments on the inside of the door are wide and roomy. It holds everything I need for it to hold. The same is true for the freezer. It is an almond color which matches the decor in my kitchen. It is easier for me to keep clean than the chrome fridge I have in my main kitchen. I did a thorough search on the internet and this fridge was the best value for the price. It had all good reviews. Now that I have owned it a while I can say for certain it is a great value.

This is the best fridge that I have owned. Ive had 0 issues in the couple of years of owning it. Side by side is an excellent addition to my home. The freezer portion is a little small for my needs, but I make do. I bulk freeze a lot of items. The fridge side is perfect and has enough options for adjustability to fit everything I need for a family. I love the stainless steel appearance. It holds up well to abuse. The brushed looks helps hide minor scratches. The only issue I have is keeping fingerprints off the stainless steel. I am very pleased with the value of this fridge. The size vs the value was just right for my family of four. The added value of the water dispenser is a great addition.

New Kenmore Elite Ice Maker Problems - Yesterday was the 4th service call for our new Kenmore refrigerator, which stopped making ice 90 days after installation. Each service technician said the problem was related to a frozen water supply line to the ice maker. Water supply would overflow onto the floor behind the fridge. One technician replaced 2 defective water supply lines to our water dispenser and ice maker. Yesterday, the technician replaced the water supply assembly to the icemaker. At this point, we have heard three defective parts in our new refrigerator. Needless to say, we regret buying a Kenmore. The service technicians are encouraging us to buy a service contract. At the end of each visit, they produce receipts itemizing the cost of each service call, currently covered under the new sale warranty. Service calls total almost $1,000. We feel like the service contract will be required to protect against future similar experiences. Today, the icemaker is producing ice again. I am not confident that it will continue operating.

Top freezer door malfunction! Almost every time you close the refrigerator door, the freezer door pops open! UGH!! I have come home to thawed and ruined freezer items too many times after someone else did not know this problem closed the fridge door! The fridge is not level so we know that is not the problem! UGH!!!

The inside of it is perfect for space to put fresh vegetables and fruits but the freezer could use more space. The appearance of the refrigerator is silver stainless. The brand name is kenmore, it is reliable and it has an elegant color and it is high performance as well. The price is fairly reasonable but wish buying a refrigerator would involve a cash back program. If you are willing to get a new refrigerator between $1000-$1500, you will make the best decision because a brand new one will last for years with no major problems.

I love how I can adjust the temp of the freezer and the top fridge. There is tons of space and it looks very fancy in my kitchen. The water dispenser on the front is being used all the time by myself and the kids, and I havent had any issues with it at all.

Very stable. Have not had issues with the motor breaking. The vegetable trays at the bottom are very stable. No issues with the freezer. I eat out a lot, so I dont need a lot of space. That being said, the door is laid out well to hold 2 liter bottles and milk cartons. Im not a flashy guy, so this refrigerator is for me. Plain Jane, with nothing drawing it attention. I didnt want one that was too flashy. Good value for the price. The refrigerator does its job keeping my food from spoiling. I dont need a dandy appliance for that. It has plenty of room for my needs.

Ive always bought Kenmore refrigerators. Their quality impressed me far more than any other brand. They have been my first choice since I started buying my own appliances. My fridge has side by side doors, which made accessing both the freezer and regular groceries much easier than a top/bottom setup. It has twenty one cubic foot capacity with the ice maker/drink dispenser in the door. However, it was a little too tall for all the space it provided for it in my kitchen. It made it difficult to clean off the top, especially since there was a storage shelf in the space above it.

The refrigerator is a very high quality product and its very useful as well. I really enjoyed my product and still using it. The size is very big and room and its enough space to put everything you need to put in it and I will buy it again. I will also recommend this to anyone that is willing to buy one. Much like the other reviews, I have had several problems with my refrigerator and lost a significant amount of food and money because of it. I spent all of last summer without a fridge because the technicians couldnt figure out that it was not the compressor (after 3 times coming to my house). It was some unit in the back that had burned and the coolant was leaking out. After paying over $500 to fix that, I am now waiting on hold for an hour because its not working again! It hasnt even been a year. And once again I lost food. I will not be purchasing from Kenmore or Sears again!

I adopted the refrigerator and it worked really well until it started to fail (expansion valve and compressor). The size was just right for a family of four and worked fairly well for the produce section although the refrigerator is several years old. It has an appealing appearance. The color was white and had no problems with chipping or easily scratching. It was easy to clean with soap and water. It worked for about 3 months and was at least 17 years old when we finally found an economical refrigerator to replace it.

Every 6 months the vent in the refrigerator freezes up and sometimes burns out the fan and every 4 months ice maker forms ice around it and must be thawed or replaced. Very poor design! Requires service 3-4 times per year. Sears service is abysmal and warranty covered only 1 repair out of 12 and technicians do not know what they are doing and take 1 month to come. Do not buy Kenmore!!!

Refrigerator has a noisy compressor, I like the LED lights, its very brightly lit and well organized. Door opens a little too fast but probably needs adjusting. I went with simplicity in that usually comes with the fewest problems. Replacement filters are reasonable too and very easy to replace, unlike my last Samsung fridge.

Kenmore is a good quality brand because it is reliable. It is cheap and does not break down as often as other fridges. I like the ones with the freezer attached but sometimes the ice maker leaks water.

I have a Side by Side Kenmore refrigerator. It is equipped with icemaker and water dispenser. I have had it for approx 10 years and can honestly say I have had very little trouble with it. There are four shelves on fridge side, 2 large bins and one small one, four shelves on the fridge door, two shelves in the freezer side with two baskets, three small shelves on freezer door. I am very satisfied with it and when it comes time to buy another one it will be Kenmore.

So far my refrigerator has been very reliable. It keeps my food cold and frozen and fresh. I have never had an issue. The only thing I would not buy is a side by side. The freezer is just not big enough for a family size. If single then would be great. My next purchase will be another Kenmore but freezer on bottom to have more space.

We purchased a French door fridge from Sears in 2013. The receipt is barely readable now. Starting a year ago the bottom freezer began filling up like an ice rink. Then the defroster comes on and its like a waterfall all over the floor. My husband is nearly 80, we are on a fixed income and I dont know who to turn to and try get this resolved. It seems like there are a lot of complaints about Sears repair people on here. I am so disappointed in this product. These refrigerators use LG components which fail in their first 3-4 years if youre lucky. They will fail again several months or a couple years after. You will be up to your ears in repair bills and have to transfer spoiled food to a reliable old refrigerator.

I purchased a Kenmore Coldspot model #105 March 8th of 2014. Last year had a factory water line break and ruin my kitchen floor and drywall in the basement. I filed a claim and received a check for the damages (No problem things happen). Now 1 year and 4 months after purchase (4 months past the expiration date of the warranty) the fridge has stopped cooling. Had to take all of our food to my wifes grandmas house at 10:30 at night. Called the repair service line and they tell me since its out of warranty it will cost me 90 dollars plus whatever parts are needed to get a technician out to the house. OR pay 40 dollars for the extended warranty and then 60 dollars every time a tech has to come out. I feel like a fridge should last AT LEAST 5-10 years right? If Im forced to buy a replacement then I will never buy from Sears again. Im so outraged I can barely think. What can I do?

I could purchase it thru Sears Outlet for reasonable price and I could adjust temperature for maximization for freshness. I also like how the shelves were spaced for easy access and the ice maker was quiet. I like the size of the refrigerator for a single person. I liked the size of the drawers and the freezer was roomy. But I would improve on the stainless steel finish so that it does not leave smudges and drips so easily and I would also improve on the humidity feature on the drawers.

Big disappointment after spending $2-3k in this refrigerator only 3 yrs ago and the compressor goes out 1-2 weeks after my warranty expires. Luckily the compressor is covered longer but the labor was ridiculous $$$. And then to read all the individuals who had the same thing happen and practically at the same time. This has to be like a recall or defective batch that was made 2016-2017. And to think I spent extra because I wanted to counter height. Last Kenmore I’ll buy.

The first refrigerator I owned when I moved out on my own was a Kenmore. It came with the house I bought and it was new. I never had any problems with it. I owned it for about 8 years and as far as I know the people who got it after me still have it and its still working good. Thats been about 15 years ago. It was a base model, no ice maker or anything so it probably was one of the cheapest ones they made. So I guess you could say Kenmore is an excellent brand.

This refrigerator is 24 years old and just will not die. I have had the total ice maker replaced and the water fill valve replaced. Other than that the thing works perfectly. My wife would like to update, but cant see getting rid of something that has been with us half of our married life until it quits completely.

The Kenmore Elite bottom freezer refrigerator we purchased less than 3 months ago has been a problem and has ruined our kitchen floor under the appliance, and the adjoining rooms carpet . The ice maker line backs up and fills up in the back of the appliance and then leaks onto your floor. We have had 4 appointments scheduled for the repair (on a 3 month old product), and now we are waiting to see if we can have it replaced. It was repaired once to no avail. Now we are just waiting without ice, and our refrigerator is in the middle of our kitchen so the floor can dry out...again. Waiting for the company to contact us about a new or a replacement. I am very discouraged at this point. VERY!

After buying 3 Kenmore appliances from Sears (recommended by friends) I have had to pay out $300 for repairs to my refrigerator that is barely 3 years old. Is this the quality of the parts used to construct their appliances?? I am now waiting for something else to happen to, unfortunately, the other 2 appliances!! I purchased a Kenmore refrigerator and other Kenmore appliances when remodeling my kitchen in 2010. The shelves in the refrigerator door are very thin plastic and Ive had to replace both shelves now. The cost is $48.00 per shelf. I think that it is unacceptable. It is just not well designed. It also takes too long to get the replacement parts. I am not a satisfied customer and the parts customer service person I spoke to only said shed make a note in my file.

It is easy to wipe down and keep clean. Unlike stainless you dont have to worry about fingerprints. We shopped around and found the value of this model to be great. You are getting a great brand at a price that should fit any budget. The energy saver cert makes it a good value to use.

I spent $2800 on a new Kenmore Elite French door with bottom freezer. At 18 months it stopped cooling/freezing. The warranty is 12 months so I was not happy. I called to Sears home service and it took 3 WEEKS to get a tech out and I had to pay for a service call. He diagnosed the issue that it was a compressor and said it would cost $435 in labor since the compressor had a 5 year warranty. It took ANOTHER 3 WEEKS to get the tech to come out to replace the compressor which he did. He found out that the 1st tech misdiagnosed and the 2nd tech said it was the main circuit board. He needed to order and it would be an additional $269. Guess what... ANOTHER 3 WEEKS to get yet 3rd tech to come out to install the new circuit board. I will keep you all posted in 3 weeks.

The refrigerator had good reviews and was on sale. I had positive previous experiences with this brand and it is still one of the best because it never disappoints function for style. I like the glass changeable shelves and ice maker located in door along with the water dispenser and the vegetable bins hold a good amount of produce and the fruits and vegetables keep well with the lettuce is crispy, nice and cold. However, I would like there to be more size offerings without sacrificing the options available in larger full size models like ice making capacity. Especially for apartment living.

Its very spacious. The first time I saw it I fell in love literally. It was just so nice and big. How could you not like it? It was so affordable too. I just couldnt walk out without buying it. It out performed. Had it for many years and is still working to full capacity. We grocery shop once a month for groceries and it holds all of my food we buy. The size of the freezer is exceptional for what my needs are. The white matched my kitchen and all the other appliances. The top and bottom were perfect size for my space available. It was easy to keep clean with the finish it had on it. Was extremely satisfied with the purchase price compared many models and this one had the most for the money compared to what else was out there.

I have a Kenmore refrigerator in a rental home. There was plenty of room and I like the spacing on the shelves. I was able to move some of the shelving around as well to adapt it to my needs. However the freezer was too small and it did not have an ice maker. If I purchase another Kenmore I will make sure to have the ice maker a part of it, look for one with a bigger freezer, adaptability on the shelving and a lot of room in the doors for condiments. But the ref was fine that I always comparison shop and by the main model that impresses me the most at the time.

The Kenmore refrigerator keeps things very cool, and you dont even have to turn the thermostat up very much. It has been a very dependable and worry free fridge, and the freezer works wonderful. The inside of the refrigerator is roomy. You have your shelves to store items and you have the side of the doors to store condiments. The drawers on the bottom inside the fridge has plenty of room to store your fruits and veggies. My fridge is white and it has the freezer on top. It doesnt look all fancy, but the plain white fridge has that simple country look to it. You can use it with any color scheme. The value for the fridge with the freezer built in up top is pretty reasonable, especially if you are on a budget, to purchase. The price is about midway of what you would pay for a different model.

Fridge, Freezer, and ice maker all work wonderfully. We havent had any problems with it except for the ice getting stuck once. It fixed itself. The Fridge part is a great size. The freezer is a little small for how much frozen food that we buy, but we have a mini-freezer for what doesnt fit in the main freezer. Fridge is nice looking. Its sleek and well put together, a great addition to our kitchen. I would recommend the look for most kitchen styles. It was at least 25 years ago and it was an excellent product. Anything that Sears puts their label or brand on has to meet super standards and this refrigerator lasted for 20 plus years.

It fits all my needs. Keeps all my foods at perfect temp. Also has plenty of room and I can adjust shelves to fit my needs. I would look at same type, brand, unit when I need another. It really works great. When I find a great buy on food I can freeze and use later. And being able to adjust my shelves makes my storage go a lot further. It was very easy to get into my opening and the leveling was so easy. The color I got is great and so very easy to keep clean, by just using a wet cloth. People keep asking me did you get a new refrigerator? They are so surprised when I tell how old it is. This unit is worth every bit as much as I paid. Sometimes the water line will freeze where the ice comes out. Also sometimes it gets too cold and freeze cold and water but other than that its been really great and does what it needs to do. The size of the freezer is too small. Needs to be bigger than other size. Has great shelves and plenty of room for all the stuff I need to keep cold like water soda and foods. I have a black one and the appearance of it is fine. It goes well with everything that I have in my kitchen. I have all matching stuff in there because I am ocd. I am pretty happy with the perceived value of the refrigerator that I have in my house. I am on a budget so price was a big factor but also I have a nice size family so I needed one that was at least middle size.

I do not look for specific brands when I buy, I look for the features, size and price. Ive owned a Kenmore refrigerator several years ago and have owned several other brands since then. There was nothing I disliked about the Kenmore. If it keeps food cold and lasts a long time that is all I expect. And it was as good as expected.

Its a great refrigerator for its price. Works to keep everything just the right temperature. I have had the same fridge now for over 7 years and have had no problems. Next time I get another. This fridge can hold enough food for a family of 5 for at least a whole month. Next time I get a fridge though, Im going to get a side by side because its so hard to fit a lot of food in that top freezer part unfortunately. Its very plain but it does its job. Just add a few magnets to it though and bring it back to life. Other than appearance, its an awesome fridge. This fridge is a great value for its money. I didnt have to spend a lot of money at all and this fridge has lasted a little over seven years.

We were totally satisfied with the performance of this machine. No complaints!! Keeps food cold, frozen food frozen with little to no cleanup. Easy to use design and frost free too! The size is good...enough room to store up to two weeks of groceries. We buy in bulk and this machine could hold it! The only difficulty we experience is the size/width of the freezer - wont hold a pizza (unless you rant to fold it in half). Handsome, rugged looking in black...enough so to go with our country home. The black was a little difficult to keep water marks off from around the water dispenser, but nothing a little elbow grease/regular cleaning couldnt handle. Bought new. The savings in energy and ability to store bulk purchases offset any additional expense. Also, the ability to set temperature and humidity levels cut down on food loss extending our food budget. We experience real value with this machine.

There were only 2 people in the house at the time, but we often hosted big dinners and I made a lot of food, and thats when the fridge was too small. Not enough space for leftovers either. Freezer too small for our needs. Easy to keep clean, matched the decor, looked fine. We had a stainless steel fridge after this one and that was a lot harder to keep clean. This white color worked well and was a lot less maintenance. I didnt buy this fridge so Im not sure what the cost was but I imagine for price and performance, it is a good value. It does the job and fits (size and maintenance).

Works great, never have had any problems with this model of fridge. It serves its purpose. Was great for making ice, had one of the shortest times for making it. Also had plenty of freezer room, which most fridges do not have. Just wish I would have splurged and gotten one with ice dispenser and water dispenser. Overall I have enjoyed this unit to the fullest. The size served my needs and uses. Had plenty of freezer space, and could make ice cubes relatively quick. Also could hold 2 gallons of milk at a time and still have room for other necessary items. The appearance of this fridge is very sharp. Very classical look while being able to have enough room for all other items needed. It fit well with the look of my kitchen. The value of this fridge is great for the money. It is an economical appliance that is worth the money. Have had other fridges not worth the money spent on.

I have a Kenmore side by side that is 7 years old. One year ago the water line that services the drinking water developed a leak. The leak was not at a bend or pressure point. It just split on the side of the hose. I spliced the line the with some new line and 2 connector. Recently it started leaking again. The original hose is so brittle that if I were to push on a connector it will most likely break again. The hose runs into the back wall so it cannot be replaced without tearing off the entire back panel which Im not sure is even possible. I feel that a water line should last close to as long as the rest of the unit. Especially if it is not replaceable. So thanks Kenmore for saving 10 cents and using cheap materials. I guess you think I should take my fridge to a landfill and buy a new one every 7 years.

I love my Kenmore fridge. It has the doors that open out, bottom pull out freezer drawers - two of them ice maker, and water dispenser for my children and I have a warranty if it should ever break down. I love my Kenmore and thank you very much.

It freezes great and refrigerates great. Never had a problem with it. Never had to fix ice maker like we did in past. It is spacious with plenty of room on both sides. A lot bigger in person. Would highly recommend. Size is great for family of four or more. Love that I dont have to cram stuff in it like in the past. The color is black. Although it comes in white and chrome we prefer the black. It dont get dirty as often as the white one does. It matches my kitchen perfectly. I honestly thought it was going to be a lot more expensive than it was. I was shocked when they told me the price. Value is great a lot greater than say GE.

There were no special drawers or shelves, and nothing could be customized. There was nothing digital on the fridge. It was small, and it was hard to fit enough food in there for a family of four, but we made it work. The fridge and freezer were both very cold, and in the 7 years we had it, we never had any repairs done. With a family of four, it was hard to find space in the fridge for everything. I used a lot of stacking Tupperware to make extra space. The door shelves were narrow, and would not hold 2 liters or a gallon of milk, but most of our condiments fit there fine. It was simple, white, no frills. I wish there had been a shelf in the freezer, and that the door handle was not textured so it didnt hold dirt so badly. For the price paid, I was very happy with this fridge. It was plain and basic, but functional, and served its purpose. It kept food cold.

Kenmore is reputable than most brands in the market. It is a great product for food storage and it had lots of room to store food to keep cold. It keeps food fresh from spoiling. I like the tray space and the freezer space altogether. My refrigerator has a nice white color that I would recommend to others looking to buy a Kenmore. The price of others as most models are cheaper but dont come close to a Kenmore refrigerator. I wished Kenmore had much more space to store food to keep it as the model I have has limited space for tall items. My expectations would be the use of smart technology in the future years to come. I dont see any other brand come close to a Kenmore because they have a shorter lifespan.

Bought it and have not had any problems with it. Runs good and keeps things frozen. Have not had a problem with it frosting up. Dont think we have ever defrosted it. Would recommend to others. For the size it works great. We use the freezer for extra food. We are a family of five and it suits us perfectly. It is great to have space to keep extra food. It has a sleek design. It is just the right height and width. Not too big and not too small. Perfect for our families needs and looks good too. The price was just right. Needed a freezer to store extra food. Didnt need anything fancy. It gets the job done without breaking the bank. Would definitely purchase again.

The refrigerator works pretty well. It had a nice temperature - not freezing, not melting. Much better than my last fridge - never seemed to work. This fridge was a challenge to get into the house but is quite small once past the doorway. I would suggest finding a nice corner for the fridge of this size. The metallic look fits in with my kitchen theme. I love the modern feel, and this refrigerator is right for me! I would suggest having a black countertops... It looked nice in my house. The cost was not ridiculously high because of the good quality, however, it could be a little bit cheaper to purchase. It was worth the money spent on it.

It works great. It is not noisy as other refrigerators. It has a lot of space. It keeps everything in there fresh and cool. I love how well it works and how everything fits in there. This refrigerator is big enough to keep my needed items. I have 3 young children who love to drink milk, so there are at least 4 gallons of milk at once, plus all the yogurt, string cheese, juice and cold water. The refrigerator is black, it has a shelve on the freezer that divides the top and bottom and is wide and deep enough to fit meat/poultry. The inside of the fridge has a couple of shelves, and at the bottom are the fresh veggies/fruit containers. When I was looking for a fridge I wasnt planning on spending a fortune, I just wanted something simple yet durable, so when I arrived in the store I was surprised to find it on sale, right under $500. I opened it to take a look and just loved all the space it had.

Works well, never had a problem. Love the look, stainless is nice, very quiet. There is lots of room and the shelves are very sturdy. Easy to move the shelves and very easy to clean.

Great appliance, very nice fridge. Ive had trouble in the past with other fridges that would die on me but this one didnt. Highly recommend to anyone who needs the space. Giant fridge, so much room. Bought a Kenmore Refrigerator model number 795.7130 (March 8, 2013) a double door refrigerator with a bottom freezer. Within the first couple months a part broke off on one of the doors. The tech said this was a common repair. OK! A couple weeks ago the refrigerator started making noise which would stop after a while and then start up again. Sunday before Thanksgiving the refrigerator stopped working, would not made ice but the freezer was still keeping the food cold. The soonest they could come out would be Friday the day after Thanksgiving. The tech never showed up Friday. After 2 phone calls was told they would send someone Saturday. It was determined that there was an ice buildup behind the back panel in the freezer which was blocking the fan. When he took off the panel there was a huge ice buildup. He suggested around every 9 months we empty the refrigerator and freezer, unplug the unit so any ice buildup can drain. He was very, very polite and professional. Should I have to buy an emergency refrigerator?Called my cousin in Virginia and was told the Sears is quite aware of these problems, that the problem is where they outsource the refrigerators parts who install inferior material. Spent another $251 for an extended warranty that is only for a year, I didnt get the extended warranty when I purchased the refrigerator because I had faith in Sears products. Your warranty only covers up to $500 and if your refrigerator cant be fixed, Sears will give you $500 towards a new one. I will not buy anything at Sears ever again. If you really want to buy a top quality product buy a Dyson vacuum. They give a 5 year warranty. They have faith in their product.

I bought a $1700 Kenmore French door fridge from Sears 5 years ago. Long story short, compressor went, $800 to repair it and was told the damage caused by the compressor failing may jeopardize other components of the refrigerator in the near future. It’s going in the trash tomorrow. Do NOT buy KENMORE products and steer clear of SEARS for selling CRAP! Tech said to stay away from Samsung as well and LG when it comes to refrigerators. Whirlpool, Maytag, Amana are better choices.

This refrigerator is very good mostly because of the amount of space it has and the cool factor that it has. It keeps my food refrigerated very well. Its good.

I have never had any problems with my Kenmore refrigerator, nor had to get any parts. I once had a problem with the ice dispenser but that was only because the landlord hooked it up incorrectly.

I purchased a Kenmore Pro refrigerator in 2017. I was so happy I didnt get an LG with all the issues of them with cooling problems. That is of course until mine stopped cooling a few days ago. Took the back off just to find out it was an LG compressor. Luckily I caught it soon enough to have not have a loss of food but now here I sit with a very expressive 4yr old non-working refrigerator. After looking up information on this compressor I saw that there was a settlement for it and I could get an extended warranty to have it replaced at no cost but of course I cant find the receipt or any proof of purchase. All I have is pictures of the fridge and compressor and LG said without a receipt they wont help me. All I wanted was the faulty compressor replaced and they know its faulty but all I got for help was too bad, so sad. Guess I will NEVER purchase a Kenmore or LG ANYTHING ever again.

I had good sales experience with Kenmore. It has good quality and lasts longer than most brands. It is also a good brand to help save on electricity and keep food fresher longer. There is a variety of fridges to choose from, big or smaller styles, and parts are easy to get and is an American-made product. They have great prices and don’t have to replace less than five years. I like that it is big and has lots of storage. It has three drawers and keeps things cold long. Food stays fresh longer. It has a big freezer and I like the white one the best. But I would make more colors to choose and have a ice maker on more models. I also would like to see more drawers in the fridge and the light could stay on longer. It needs a temperature control you don’t have to control so food doesn’t freeze at all and a little more space in the freezer.

I purchased a Kenmore Elite Refrigerator 18 months ago based on Kenmores past history of consumer confidence and quality products. When one spends over $2000 on a refrigerator, the fair and reasonable expectation would be that the refrigerator would last more than 18 months. The refrigerator has already failed after 18 months of use and I am being told that they need to send a service tech to diagnosis. The refrigerator has a new technology with WiFi so I was informed from the get go they could diagnose the problem from remote. When called, they said they could not do that and would have to send a repair technician. I asked them to waive the fee since I had already paid for WiFi service and was told flatly no after at least 8 phone calls to different people in different departments. Not only do they have to send a tech to now diagnose the problem and I pay for the service call, the motor or whatever is no longer covered because its past a year old, and they will only cover the compressor. I am disgusted with the quality of this Kenmore product and will be writing a letter to corporate. Their solution is for me to purchase an extended warranty at $40 per month. Thats $600 per year. Its become crystal clear to me why the once venerable Sears and Roebuck Company is closing stores all around the nation and is rumored to be on the verge of bankruptcy.

I have had many Kenmore appliances over the years and theyve always lasted a very long time... with the exception of the refrigerator. The refrigerator was disappointing. The one I bought was roughly in the 1990s. It was a side by side model and I liked the size of it. It had a water/Ice dispenser which we never hooked up. I liked the refrigerator just fine until it quit cooling. It ran but has no cold air.

The refrigerator is a good entry-level model. It keeps things cold, and has a freezer. I havent had any issues with temperature and it does what I expect it to. Its a standard size refrigerator, but the freezer seems a little smaller than I would expect. It is a straight-forward white refrigerator, and does not look as expensive as the more expensive models with stainless steel, etc. The refrigerator is a respectable model and a good value for the cost.

We purchased a brand-new Kenmore refrigerator on Aug. 16, 2017. The refrigerator section failed in April of 2018. The “JAZZ” motherboard and damper module were replaced under warranty. Two years later, April 2020, the refrigerator is dead again. Verified via built-in diagnostic tests that the compressor and fan were functional when commanded. Chose to replace the JAZZ board myself, but that didn’t solve the problem. It is likely the thermistor is bad, but due to the stupid design, I’m forced to buy a complete wiring harness as the thermistor is assembled as part of the harness and cannot be purchased separately. Pure foreign-made junk. Buy American-Made! Don’t buy Whirlpool/Kenmore, lest you enjoy throwing out $100 in food every two years in addition to shelling out $300 in parts every two years (more if you are not a DIY person). Our old KitchenAid lasted almost 20 years. I think some of these manufacturers need a class-actual lawsuit to incentivize them to build quality appliances, and back them with a 10-year warranty.

Its been less than a year that we got our refrigerator and it is already not working. We have had many technicians come and look at it and I mean look. They dont touch it and all they say is, We will be back in three weeks!! HELLO I NEED A WORKING Fridge not just a thing that warms up my food. Ive spent over 300 on groceries and all have gone to the trash because of the fridge not working. I have a big family and I cant even buy food for the week. This is beyond ridiculous. KENMORE please dont be selling bad refrigerators or at least help me with the one I have.

Purchased a Kenmore Fridge from Sears which is manufactured by Electrolux. Purchased it in June 2016. Have had the repairman out four times for the same issue of not staying cold. They do not want to replace the fridge. They want to send repair person out a fifth time. It will be over a month without a fridge. This is not acceptable.

Purchase date of the fridge - 26 September 2017 $2500.00 at Sears. On 28 September 2018 the compressor on the unit broke. The cost to repair will be upwards of $500. Im told that thousands of these Kenmore units have the same issue with the compressor and that it was made to last a year only. I need to wait 3 weeks for Sears to schedule the service technician - That equates to 3 weeks minimum with no refrigerator! A local technician told me that the new compressor, once installed, will most likely last a year - possibly two. I wish I would have read the reviews prior to purchasing. Sears should be ashamed of their service and their product and I feel strongly that this refrigerator should be recalled or that there should be a class action lawsuit against Sears/LG/Kenmore. PLEASE - do yourself a favor and stay clear of this product.

Works pretty well. Keeps food cold mostly in main part and on door. Needs an upgrade though. It is several years old. Upper crisper in fridge part. Experiences problems. Overall a very reliable appliance in the kitchen.

This fridge is amazing. I love how big it is. Its also very sleek looking and makes the kitchen look modern. Ice and water maker are great. Holds so much food! I have a big family and this fridge is big enough to hold food for all of us. Its amazing to not have to go to the grocery store every other day. Looks great in any kitchen. I love love love the stainless steel look. Very modern. The refrigerator is a little pricey but I guess its worth the price. Price alone isnt great but value is totally worth it.

Very efficient and quiet and also very easy to use with little or no help at all. Its great. I will/wish all of your appliances worked as quietly as that brings to memory when my fridge went kaput. You can fit pots and pans and skillets and soil washers. It also will allow you to put in coolers if theyre not of great size and does get those clean especially after camping and fishing. It has a really Sleek look. Very small in size and fits in the smallest Corner in my kitchen but still is very easy to access. It was the best one that we saw for sale at the time especially for the small size. Besides having a very Sleek look and being small enough to fit in the corner of my kitchen the value seems fantastic as it has a really new look although it is not too old. I really do love it.

It works great. The top freezer always keep things frozen. The bottom always stayed at the same temperature. The motor never quit and always ran quiet. I never had any problems with it and never had to take anywhere to get checked out. Im single so it was plenty big enough for all my needs. I never had a problem with it unless I tried to put a 39 pack of beer in it. The top freezer is just right for what I put in it. Mine was white and stood up in the corner. It had three shelves and top freezer with a produce draw. It had side shelves and it was not too big or small for my needs. It was brand new and had a warranty. It never quit so it valuable to me.

I have owned 2 Kenmore refrigerators. I have never had any major problems with either of them. The Kenmore name is well respected and I can testify to that being true. At one time Kenmore appliances were only sold in Sears stores, but nowadays, you are able to find these products in most appliance stores. That proves that Kenmore has made great strides in their refrigerators, as well as their other appliances. I would strongly recommend a Kenmore refrigerator to anyone. They stand up to little kids constantly opening and closing the doors, sometimes with great strength!!!

We got a great price on the refrigerator. It was energy efficient which helped to reduce our electric bill. It was also designed with common sense so it was easy to put away our groceries.

We bought a new Kenmore side by side and paid extra for the indoor ice maker model #106.51332710. One year and 1 month to the date it was delivered the ice maker quit working so I called customer service. We have water but no water to the ice tray. They were not willing to stand by their product and send a tech out unless it was on my dime. Now Im sorry. We are a family of 4. This was not overused for it to die on such a short time span. Its ridiculous. I now know 2 other people that have had this exact problem so apparently this is nothing new. Dont waste your money you will be paying for repairs just out of the year you purchased it. What happened to customer service or just doing whats right?!?!

The Kenmore refrigerator is a pretty good appliance to have in our house. It keeps our food really fresh, the food doesnt lose its taste. We save a lot of money because the food lasts longer than it would have with my old refrigerator. My bill is also lower, I noticed ever since the Kenmore fridge has been in use. I find the fridges temperature setting easy to use.

Excellent refrigerator. Runs quiet, have had it for a year and no problems. Freezes very well. Keeps food cold. Love the design. Its easy for me to get to, since I am in a wheelchair. I would recommend. I buy groceries for a month. All my groceries fit in my refrigerator and my freezer. And it is just an awesome refrigerator. I love it. People cannot believe that I got this size in a stainless steel finish. They are always commenting on how pretty it is. How stylish it is. And they are amazed at how quiet it is. The value is OK. I bought it at Home Depot and then found one later, cheaper. But, the other company didnt deliver like Home Depot. And I got an extra two year service agreement for next to nothing..

Great performance! Doesnt use much electricity, stays cold, is very quiet, easy to clean, overall a very good purchase. Always makes ice so I never run out. Great size for the price, accommodates all the food I need to buy and I never run out of room. Generally I have room left over which is great to have for the things I occasionally splurge on. Very sleek and stylish appearance. Easy to clean, fits in with my other appliances. Doesnt scuff or dent very easily which is great around kids. Good value for the price. Most of my family and friends think I paid a fortune for the refrigerator but I didnt. Appears very high end.

I like Kenmore refrigerators exterior water/ice; stainless steel finish and brand loyalty, side by side with great storage capacity. At time of purchase, it was best value in comparison with other brands. However, the water filters for the ice/water were costly. Improvement on price of filter and easy access to replace. Also quicker process for crushed ice and not having the shards splatter outwards rather than all directly in receptacle. But have had many Kenmore products/appliances. All were reliable and easy to purchase. Helpful salespeople. Warranty and product replacement parts easy to pick up from store.

I trust this brand for my family and I believe that everyone else should as well. Very good customer service when needed, which is not often. My fridge is very, very reliable and I would recommend to anyone. My fridge does fit everything that I need to fit in there. The freezer portion is a little small which is my only complaint but the rest is absolutely perfect. The appearance is very modern and aesthetically pleasing. Ive gotten so many compliments and it fits into my kitchen like a glove. It looks as if it was made for my kitchen when in reality I didnt get this fridge until many years after our house was built. The value is nicely priced. I get what I paid for and I believe that an expensive fridge just reiterates the reliability and sturdiness of the machine itself.

Kenmore was the cheapest when comparing it to other brands that had the same features. Kenmore is a trusted brand and this fridge was on sale. I was more concerned with the price and the value than what specific features it has. I like the features and the space in this refrigerator. There is plenty of space especially in the freezer which is great for my needs. But I wish it had sturdier shelving units and maybe it coming in different colors.

The refrigerator cooled appropriately and the freezer was wonderful but overall was a little too small for my taste and preference. It was purchased prior to moving into our home and since it came with the home we had no say in it. I would not go below 22 cubic feet. It was free so I cant complain too much. Also the vegetable bin was not sturdy. It broke 1 year into having appliance. As far as black appliances go, it was fine. Nothing too fancy about it. I have to say in its defense, the exterior was easy to clean. The interior was similar to other refrigerators that Ive seen. If I was purchasing it myself, the value is pretty good. It gets the job done.

Its hard to trust a newer company when making high money purchases. Kenmore is a solid well-trusted name. They are known for quality and durability. Sometimes reputation is worth more than added bells and whistles. I like the option of switching the side the door opens on. I like the adjustable shelves and the depth of the door space. Reliable, good lighting, warning if door left ajar, leak-catch shelved. However, if there were a way to make the walls thinner while retaining the same insulation, that would increase space available. I would like pull out shelves, I would make the alarm a little louder. I might add a air filter that is changeable. It was a worthwhile purchase.

I like that Kenmore is a trusted brand with a strong tradition. I also chose because of previous experience with the brand. This is the brand we had in our house growing up. Its a sturdy fridge with a good amount of space and drawers to hold a variety of food. I am pretty happy with it as a whole.

Ice cubes arent great but everything else is great. I have plenty of room for everything. I like the feature to choose the shape of ice you want but the crushed isnt too crushed and the other cubes are not big enough. The size is perfect size for a family of 5 and a grocery shopping trip for a months worth of groceries. Side shelves, big drawers. Freezer also has plenty of shelving space on the side and upright. The stainless steel look really is lovely. It has a very sophisticated appearance and contemporary modern for todays trends. It gives off a chic type of vibe and is very noticeable. The pricing is just where it should be for this type of appliance. Not too cheap but also not very expensive. Its very affordable for anyone shopping for a refrigerator.
