It is quite adequate. There are 3 drawers for fruits, vegetables and meats. And the shelves are adjustable. It lasted a long time with little need for repair. Im very happy with it.

It was a great fridge. It had all the features I needed. It was the biggest and best refrigerator I ever owned. You really should buy one. Youll love it. It was beautiful, lovely, attractive, good looking, matched my kitchen. Best value for the money. Especially given that I didnt pay a cent for it. It was a gift.

I would advise anyone shopping for a new refrigerator to steer clear of Kenmore elite refrigerators. $2200. On sale less than 3 yrs ago. Plus additional $800 for master warranty. Ice maker stopped working and temperature in refrigerator in the high 60s. Problems started mid June. It is now July 24th. 3 visits from repair tech still not working. Another 17 day lead time for another appt. You have to send blanket emails, make countless calls to get anywhere. If you were counting on LEGENDARY Sears customer satisfaction motto forget it. Research online and you can read for yourself the multiple posting of customers having serious issues with this fridge. I regret not researching my choice better. BUYER BEWARE!

The performance of this refrigerator is amazing. It is quiet, strong, and long lasting. I know this appliance is going to last me a very long time, and that I can rely on it to have a longer life time than my last one. Sears Kenmore Elite Refrigerator is junk. Weve had our fridge for 5 years and have had repairman out 4 times. Always a hassle and never can diagnose and fix it in one or even two visits. We are done with Sears. Never again.

I love the volume, size, style and everything about the refrigerator. My mother has one too. With everything inside I love it. It has perfect size. I could move it around. I love it if its gray in my kitchen but it fit everything in there pretty. Its pretty cool appliance. It does the water, does good ice. Has a lot of space inside of the fridge and freezer, out of the freezer. I got it cheap too. Its pretty good deal and value. I would recommend this to everybody. You’ll love it.

We bought a Kenmore Elite 27.5 cu ft refrigerator 3 years ago. It stopped cooling and a service technician came out the next day and replaced the compressor. This fixed the problem for 3 days when it went bad again and we were told the new compressor was bad. We waited 10 days for the next service call when we were told that it was not the compressor, but an internal leak which was not under warranty and we needed to replace the entire unit. Our last refrigerator lasted more than 10 years without a problem. Even at 3 years, I would not have expected an epic failure that could not be repaired requiring us to purchase an entirely new unit. Disappointed in the lack of longevity of the unit. Will not buy Kenmore again.

Kenmore has always been a great product with great design. Very dependable and their repair service was superior. Sad how things have changed. Im in the market for a new refrigerator as my Kenmore is almost 20 years old but still works very well!!

I love my Kenmore fridge! It works to the fullest to my advantage! It has everything I need and more when it comes to a fridge. I use it to the fullest capacity and I absolutely love that it has the night light outside and the ice maker that dispenses both cubed and crushed ice which I prefer the crushed ice myself and my boys absolutely love it too!

It works great. It is not noisy as other refrigerators. It has a lot of space. It keeps everything in there fresh and cool. I love how well it works and how everything fits in there. This refrigerator is big enough to keep my needed items. I have 3 young children who love to drink milk, so there are at least 4 gallons of milk at once, plus all the yogurt, string cheese, juice and cold water. The refrigerator is black, it has a shelve on the freezer that divides the top and bottom and is wide and deep enough to fit meat/poultry. The inside of the fridge has a couple of shelves, and at the bottom are the fresh veggies/fruit containers. When I was looking for a fridge I wasnt planning on spending a fortune, I just wanted something simple yet durable, so when I arrived in the store I was surprised to find it on sale, right under $500. I opened it to take a look and just loved all the space it had.

Replacement refrig, 6 months old, 2nd service call (2 weeks so far, new board, new interior panel, broke by serviceman). STAY AWAY FROM LG REFRIGERATORS. THEY SUCK. NO QUALITY CONTROL and they do not care! Buy the service package. You will need it!!!!!!!

We bought our Kenmore Elite Model #795 72052 112 on Feb 23, 2013 and guess when our fridge develops a problem -- of course, one month exactly after the warranty expires. Apparently, we have the same problem as several others - the ice maker fan is not working and we get the ER F1 on the display panel. It melted the ice and it dripped on our laminate flooring creating more problems.

Loved that it was frost free. I never had to defrost it, nice big crisper drawers, liked and the shelves. Plus, color never did colored over the years either. However, the humidity it was too high in the crisper. Veggies went droopy. Moreover, seemed like the fridge itself was too warm to the touch.

This refrigerator has adjustable shelves, which is very important for odd shape containers. The frost free freezer is very convenient since you do not have to chip away ice. The exterior is finger proof and very easy to keep clean.

Only had a problem with the Ice Maker once. Great Refrigerator/Freezer. It maintains constant temperature and the number of storage drawers make it a wonderful Refrigerator. The freezer has three drawers. One large with two different compartments and two smaller in depth. Certainly a very useful combination in both the Refrigerator and also the Freezer.

US government allow American consumers to continually get ripped off by manufactures and retailers. LG/Samsung newer model refrigerators have 220v compressors which does not work well with US circuit standards. Repair people state compressors have known defect. Its not a defect. Those 220v compressors are intended to work for a certain duration then burn out. If you replace one then sooner or later you will replace another. Purchase new Kenmore refrigerator from Sears 2017/2018. Stopped working Sept. 2021. Refrigerator labeled as Kenmore but model number is LG (795.72493.611). Try buying replacement parts using model no. you will never receive correct part unless you dismantle original and locate exact part number. This has been a nightmare. One repairperson refused to try and repair. We found one who educated us that replacing 220v compressor with 150v compressor would fix the problem. Additionally, he indicated 150v compressor will last for years as oppose to replacing with another 220v that would out again in about 2/3 years. The government/retailers and manufacturers allow consumers to continuously be ripped off. Its called capitalism. Also switching tag from LG to Kenmore should be illegal similar to switching car VIN. There should be huge price paid by manufacturers and retailers with regards to selling products with known issues. LG not found in company list. Why?

It kept everything at a consistent temperature and ran well. It had plenty of storage space and was easy to clean. The drawers were spacious and allowed for a lot of storage for fruits, vegetables, cheese, and deli meats. It is large enough to store everything I need store. It is easy to reconfigure the space. The drawer make it convenient for storage of produce. It is easy to clean both inside and outside and is utilitarian in style. The shelves are easy to clean very useful and sturdy. The drawers are clear and makes it easy to see inside. It is worth the money. The value is excellent - for what you pay you get a spacious fridge and freezer area big enough for any familys needs.

Ive owned this refrigerator for 10 years and its always performed perfectly. The food stays fresh without getting dried out and its easy to clean. All the food I need for a family of 4 fits easily and I especially like how I can put a gallon of milk on the door. Sometimes I wish for a bigger freezer, but my kitchen would not accommodate it. Its a pretty standard-looking refrigerator and would not stand out in a crowd. But it matches the look of my kitchen and I am more interested in how it works than how it looks. This refrigerator was one of the least expensive we found while we were shopping but its a great performer. It had the extras we wanted without all of the bells and whistles and was a great price.

Need ice maker. It runs pretty good. I didnt think it would be that good but it was. It holds a lot of food indeed. Lot of room, very quiet motor, didnt use up a lot of power, really great fridge. The size is very big. Have 4 kids so I need a lot of food to stock. Very good shelf space. It didnt cost much money. It provides me some great reliability. Love it so so much. Its stainless and very sleek. My old fridge was white and stained really fast. Now this one is easy to clean, easy to store, easy to use. Its just a really great refrigerator. I like the value. Its most expensive but its very reliable. I got it very cheap and I really love their fridge raider. Thank you very much Kenmore for making a great product.

Ive had my Kenmore fridge for over 20 yrs and its still doing a great job. A couple years ago, the fan stopped running, and we did not realize it till it started leaking water from bottom on floor. Called Service man (independent), and he told us if it werent a Kenmore, it would have died, that it held up really good for as long as fan wasnt working. Highly recommend this brand in all appliances. We still have it along w/ all our Kenmore appliances and theyre all still running GREAT!

I like the color black in that as it gives a different look altogether. Definitely a must buy product. It is ok when we talk about the value. It is slightly expensive. Works and never had any problems with it. Great, lasted a long time, always worked and kept the food cold and frozen all the time. I would highly recommend it if someone asked. The size was great. Had plenty of room in the refrigerator and there was plenty of room in the freezer. I can always find something without looking around in the top and the bottom. I had the white one. Kind of plain but it didnt take up extra room. It fit right where I needed it to go. It was a great appliance. Its about the same cost of other brands but its well worth the price and it works great and saves on electric as long as you dont keep it open.

The Kenmore Refrigerator was quality. It always kept things cold and frozen and never really gave much trouble. Ice maker was a plus once I hooked it up. Its too costly to have tech to do it. But the biggest issue was the door shelves and shelves within the refrigerator itself, they werent put together very well and were held up by plastic tool notches that slipped out too often and made a mess when they did. The door shelves need improvements, both in strength of the shelf itself but definitely in the way they are connected to hold weight. Nevertheless, the Kenmore Refrigerator has met my expectations.

It always works very well - we never had a problem with it. It is small for the growing family but it works great all the time. We have never had a problem with it and it runs well. Great, never worried that we would open the door to spoiled food. The refrigerators size is a downfall with a growing family. We usually use it as a second fridge to have enough room for the familys food. Always looks great. Easy to wipe down, easy to clean soap and water. Great looking all the time. The kids can get handprints and mud dirt and grime all over and it still wipes down with paper towels easy. The price we paid for the fridge and how long weve owned it has been a tremendous value. The price at the time was a bit over what we could afford at the time but we knew it was something that would last quite some time and it has been well worth it.

When the long-experienced service tech could no longer fix our previous GE, we discussed options. He suggested Kenmore, with as few bells and whistles as necessary, because those need repairs more than the refrigeration system. Extensive research bore out this opinion, and we settled on a Kenmore that has worked flawlessly despite frequent power outages in our area. We lost no frozen food after a 2-day outage. We do not miss the extra luxury features. It has enough room for a family of 4 with different dietary and beverage preferences, and all the holiday food for guests is accessible without a lot of searching on the shelves. The veggie and fruit bins slide easily, and the shelves can be adjusted as needed. Six years running (!), we have not had to call our beloved repairman.

Wanted a side by side; like the refrigerator haven’t had any issues with it, like that top shelf slides out. Some containers you can’t stand up straight, the freezer is small & narrow, things fall through the grates on the shelf. It is 16 years old & sometimes you would just like to have a newer model.

My parents used Kenmore and I found a good deal on mine. The refrigerator has met my expectations of it. I like the space that I have in it and the freezer is spacious. The shelves are far enough apart to store things. I can store a good bit of stuff in it. But I should have went with a bigger one. If I have too much stuff on the top shelf then sometimes things will freeze in it. I probably will buy another Kenmore when I have to buy another refrigerator but I hope it is not too soon because refrigerator can be very expensive to buy.

With a family of 5 I wish the freezer couldve been bigger but its decent sized. Fridge has plenty of room! Pretty standard set up for the type of fridge it is. We were looking for something budget friendly to get the job done and found it easily with this appliance. Ours is the basic white package but its still a good quality item. Evey reason we bought this product boils down to overall value. We are happy with what we brought home and the plus side is, it didnt break the bank.

All items stay cold and fresh. Freezer food also stays very cold as well. Anyone interested in this product I would even let them take a look at mine. It fits perfectly where I wanted the product. We purchased this Kenmore Elite refrigerator model # 795.72483.411 from Sears 3 1/2 years ago. 2 years after we bought it the compressor died. At that time we were covered under our 3 year extended warranty, the compressor was replaced and we received a $300 check for the food we lost in the process. I can still hear the repairmans ominous words as he left the house, this would have cost you over $800!14 months later, 2 months AFTER the warranty expired, the freezer was no longer freezing, the ice maker went silent and it was to be 2-3 weeks before the Sears appliance repairman could service the dying refrigerator. I called around to different appliance dealers and 1 store did not repair Kenmores, another gave me a heavy sigh and said it was not fixable but I was able to employ one fellow recommended through Angies List who juiced it up after soldiering a tube he thought might be the source of the leak, charged me $200 and I never heard from him again nor was he reachable when it went dry 3 months later (although he guaranteed his work for 6 months).We are 4 weeks out from the second refilling with R134a and I just climbed out from behind this failing machine to write this review. Ironically we happened to have saved our last refrigerator, a 30 y/o Kenmore, which was banished to the basement when we purchased this one and all of our food has been moved downstairs once again.

The first Kenmore our family had lasted over 60 years. Though it was small by modern standards it never had a maintenance problem and spent the last 40 years as the basement fridge for beer and excess food.

I had a Sears charge card, like the features, had experience with Kenmore appliances, convenience, and the price was right. I like the refs the ice maker, door water distributor, side by side refrigerator and freezer, and the three drawers in refrigerator. But I wish there was an easier way to change filter, which is located on the bottom of the freezer and is very very very hard to change.

I have had no problems with my refrigerator at all, keeps everything good or frozen as it should. I would definitely recommend Kenmore and if I need to replace mine that is the brand I would definitely purchase.

This color was not available with other brands. That was one of the reason I selected this model. It provides a good value. Size is big. Keep the food cool. It have large box for ice and the freezer keeps it quite cold. We can keep food for long duration and it will not get destroyed or rotten.

The space in the freezer was big enough and the drawers was spacious. I can load up on vegetables for an entire week. I can also load up on meats for a long time. However, the ice maker was not constantly making ice. The climate control was confusing. The cleaning was also a task because of the way the inside was built. The handle on the door was not too attractive but it was ok. In all it did its job. It was perfect for my family size. Also saves on energy bills. Love it in the summertime. Kept all my beers freezing cold and I didnt have to buy ice once.

I chose Kenmore because it is a well known brand and I know some of my family has had a Kenmore refrigerator last for many many years. I liked that it looked great in my kitchen and it went very well with all of the other appliances. It had lots of room for me to store everything I needed in it. It kept all of my food at the correct temperature and kept them fresh. But I would want an alarm on the door if it is left open by accident. It would help ensure that your food was kept at the proper temperature and alarm everyone if there is a problem. Other than that, it lasted so long and had great performance. It definitely met my expectations and I would recommend it to anyone that is looking for a new refrigerator.

It has a lot of space for me to put a lot of food, especially if you have a family and it could be organized easily. It is stainless steel, which is what I prefer and enough ice to make a lot of cold drinks during the summer. One of the reasons I got this fridge was because of the size. I have a little boy and he is kinda picky eater, so I needed a rather large fridge to put a variety of food. It looks amazing. When my mom in law comes in she would say the fridge must be very expensive because of the look, but it was not that bad. It was not that expensive when I got it during the holiday season and I really think my decision to get it was a very good one and it is gonna be used for a long time.

I purchased this over a Bosch because of the price and the side by side feature comparison. The features were not that far off but the price swayed my decision. I have had nothing but quality issues, so in the long run lost my saving on the purchase price. This is the last Kenmore product that Ill ever purchase. I have had to repair it on a regular basis which has been a major disappointment. Its performance is average. It has the buttonless feature but every time someone walks by the unit turns on or off, which forces you to use the control panel lock feature at all times. Using the control lock leads to the unit getting hung up requiring us to have to cycle power to get the unit usable. We would replace the control board, but there are no longer spare control panels. It is clear that all the quality problems are due to low-cost parts and cutting corners on the design. While on paper the product looked close and the price lead to my purchase, it is my last Kenmore purchase.

It cools quickly and is easy to clean. The door shelves have plenty of room. I like the milk shelf. I like the two crispers with adjustable humidity. It is a good size for us. The milk indentation on the door is good and allows the milk to stay put. The shelf height is good for our needs. I like the color. It is black and looks good in the kitchen. It doesnt show dirt or smudges on the door. It fits nicely into our kitchen. It was a good value for the money. Weve had it about six months and have not had any problems. I would highly recommend it for an average sized family who needs a basic roomy refrigerator.

We like this refrigerator because it fits well into the space we have and still stores plenty of stuff. I wish the cold water came out faster, but that is really my only complaint. Again the size is perfect for the space we have in our kitchen. It is taller than other fridges we have had and not as deep, but that is exactly the size we needed. It makes up for the lack of depth with the increased height. The stainless steel doors are a nice sleek, modern look that we enjoy. They are still magnetic which allows us to mount pictures and notes with magnets so we are happy with its appearance and functionality. This fridge was a bit more expensive than others weve had, but we like the look, form, and function of this unit. We would buy it again.

This sears refrigerator has served us very well for 30 years. Only problem is that we have repaired icemaker twice in 30 years! The repair man who fixed the ice maker told us they dont make them like this anymore. Very satisfactory refrig.

Ive had this Kenmore refrigerator for a long time. It has a no frills, plain white exterior which will match other white appliances easily. Also, it is easy to clean with soap and water or a spray of Mean Green cleaner. For an inexpensive refrigerator, it works well and does the job right. It first perfectly for a small family. A twelve pack of Cokes and beer fit easily. The freezer is ample as well as long as you are not stocking up for a long time. Its a bit noisy but its very durable. Kenmore is a great company with reasonable prices and a sturdy product. If you are looking for a dependable appliance this is for you.

We purchased a Kenmore refrigerated 3 years ago. The compressor just took a dump. I had a Kenmore authorized service tech look at it and now I have to pay a Sears service tech to look at it just to tell me the same thing and wait even longer for a part. Never again!!! FURIOUS!!! Refrigerator works great. Never had any issues whatsoever except local supplier never having the water filter in stock. The refrigerator worked flawless. Refrigerator had enough room for all the items you would find in a refrigerator. Large drawers and adjustable shelves to fit large 2 liter bottles. The refrigerator was pretty plain in appearance so it didnt especially stand out but I enjoyed the subtle look to my Kenmore refrigerator. The Kenmore refrigerator will cost you more in the pocketbook but the increased cost assures you that you have purchased a quality refrigerator.

We have a large family so splurged and spent worth of $3,000 for a new Kenmore Elite Refrigerator (model 795.72092.310). It was the largest fridge offered by Kenmore at the time. The interior is made entirely of plastic and has been cracking and breaking since almost new. I just spent over $100 for new door shelves - after patching and repairing the old ones for a year. The bottom shelf is cracked in half and the crisper drawers will no longer close without a fight. The sliding shelf in the freezer pops off the track all of the time - just enough to hold the door open but not enough to trip the DOOR OPEN alarm. We regularly get up in the AM to a melted freezer of food that has set just slightly open all night. I am looking for the original receipt but the fridge was purchased on my Sears credit card so purchase date should not be in dispute.

My Kenmore fridge last my family for very many years, and especially long considering the fact that there were 4 kids under the age of 5 running around. The finish got worn and the handle broke a lot sooner than Id have hoped... And the stripping on the door broke off, as well, but all in all, it was a well-made product and Id definitely consider buying Kenmore again.

It is well equipped to use and I can easily go open the refrigerator and explore my likings. It has a fast freezing freezer in which I can place my goods to freeze and then open back up to heat up and eat. The size is big enough to sort out the things you want on each level. The appearance is great and is fresh and clean and has an amazing build that cannot be broken down in any way. My refrigerator is working very well and have had no problems. My food stay cold all through out the year. There is plenty of room for all of my foods. I cant recall the exact size but I am very pleased with my appliance. I have never ran out of space to put my groceries. Its a nice sleek appearance and the appliance is very sturdy and will not tip over. There is enough shelf space to put my eggs, meat, milk, butter eggs, etc. At the time of my purchase my appliance cost $500 and I am very pleased with the whole deal. I think the appliance is well worth the money.

Kenmore has definitely met my expectations. It was the existing refrigerator in the house when I purchased it. The product is sound, reliable, and built very well. It is more than 15 years old and still works great. But I would improve the interior spacing and use stronger plastic for the shelves. My refrigerator is white and I would offer other custom colors besides the standard Black, white, and stainless steel. But the Overall Performance and reliability is excellent and the size is perfect for the space.

The size of the appliance is alright. It could be a little bigger but thats alright. I just cut down on the amount I buy to stock the fridge with. I do however like the layout of the fridge. It fits everything great. I absolutely love the look of the appliance. This fridge is great to look at and it goes with my decor in my kitchen well. I would have liked to see a few more different colors. It was a decent value. I would have thought it would have been a little less expensive but completely satisfied with the new fridge and style.

We have a Kenmore Elite 750 Refrigerator purchased 10/2013 from Sears. It stopped working May 2021. Sears came and diagnosed the problem as the compressor, which is under a 10 year warranty (reads: repair free of charge). However, Sears noted the replacement compressor will need a new computer in order to function. We paid the diagnostic fee and asked him to email us a full quote, which he never did. We called Kenmore (transferred to Sears) as the price seemed high ($924) for a problem that is under warranty.We rescheduled an appointment and the technician did not show. We called Sears who rescheduled us for the following week and assured us that the next technician would be fixing the compressor and computer for no additional charges at all. We then spoke to an additional 5 people at Sears who all gave us different stories; it seems that the next appointment would simply be another diagnostic visit/second opinion which is NOT what we need. It has been very difficult to work with Sears, and we have spent several hours on the phone getting several different stories. Though the warranty states the compressor is covered for repair free of charge for 10 years (no mention of parts or labor, just repair), they (Kenmore and Sears) refuse to fix the problem or send us the parts so we can fix it ourself or hire another person.The Kenmore representative (Drew) was downright rude to me for no clear reason. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, he told me someone would call me. A person did call me, but did not leave a phone number to reach her--she gave me the generic Kenmore line again, which was not helpful. I wrote several emails to Kenmore via various avenues and received no response whatsoever.All in all, extremely disappointing and upsetting service from Kenmore and Sears. To say something (an expensive fridge) is under warranty for repair but then charge $1000 to fix is not acceptable. Whats more: the compressor in question underwent a class action lawsuit previously as it kept breaking and Kenmore kept having it replaced with other deficient compressors that they knew would break: obviously unacceptable. Its also unacceptable that no one will take responsibility or help; Sears traded us from department to department endlessly and Kenmore was downright rude. We will never buy from Kenmore or Sears again. Users recommendation: Do NOT Kenmore products. Do NOT buy from Sears.

I am a 68 year old man, and a Kenmore refrigerator has always been in my parents home. When I became an adult and married, the first refrigerator my wife and I purchased was a Kenmore. Today in my Kitchen is a Kenmore. Reason why is because of the excellent performance over the years. I cannot remember not one negative incident with a Kenmore in all those years. I am dedicated and loyal to Kenmore because in my life they have served me very well, I can also say perfectly.

Its really exactly what you would/should expect. Its definitely a quality product. I do really love the whole ice machine bit. Buy some Tupperware though. I like to use the crock pot for roasts and what not and it definitely doesnt fit. Size is fine. Breaking up the roast into smaller portions isnt a bad deal though. Makes it ready to take in my lunch that way, anyway. Black, modern, sleek. I mean, its a refrigerator. Not exactly the centrepiece of a room really. It doesnt stand out though, so thats nice. I dont think Ive ever really looked at one made after the 80s or so that I thought was ugly, really. I mean, considering I barely paid for it, Im pretty stoked on the value. I would have happily paid asking price, though.

Ive had this refrigerator with ice-maker for over fifteen years and have never had a repair bill on it. I do wish the freezer side was wider, but other than that its been a dream. I would not get a side-by-side again.

I have had access to several different Kenmore models that usually came with one of the houses or apartments I have rented, roommated with someone, or just visited over the years. I like the newer ones with the refrigerator on top and the freezer on the bottom. I like how much more spacious and energy efficient the newer models are. I like the models that come equipped with a water dispenser (filtered of course)/ice dispenser (also filtered)! I wish refrigerators were solar powered or could generate their own power so no electricity was necessary! In fact I wish all appliances were made this way! I didnt purchase this brand. It came with a few places I have rented over the years! Yes I was very satisfied with the Maytag brand and prefer it over other brands!

Kept things cool as it was supposed to. Sometimes had trouble but I could adjust it. Worked fine, just a little small! I ran out of room a lot. There were only 2 people in the house at the time, but we often hosted big dinners and I made a lot of food, and thats when the fridge was too small. Not enough space for leftovers either. Freezer too small for our needs. Easy to keep clean, matched the decor, looked fine. We had a stainless steel fridge after this one and that was a lot harder to keep clean. This white color worked well and was a lot less maintenance. I didnt buy this fridge so Im not sure what the cost was but I imagine for price and performance, it is a good value. It does the job and fits (size and maintenance).

I have been very happy with my Kenmore refrigerator. It is energy efficient so it helps me save on my electric bill. It has never broken down. It is quiet. No frost buildup in the freezer, and no freeze up of foods in the refrigerator. Problems I have encountered with past refrigerators. The price was very reasonable and Sears backs up all their products. I couldnt have asked for more out of my appliance. If you are in the market for a refrigerator I definitely and strongly recommended for you to look into a Kenmore.

I purchased a Kenmore Coldspot model #105 March 8th of 2014. Last year had a factory water line break and ruin my kitchen floor and drywall in the basement. I filed a claim and received a check for the damages (No problem things happen). Now 1 year and 4 months after purchase (4 months past the expiration date of the warranty) the fridge has stopped cooling. Had to take all of our food to my wifes grandmas house at 10:30 at night. Called the repair service line and they tell me since its out of warranty it will cost me 90 dollars plus whatever parts are needed to get a technician out to the house. OR pay 40 dollars for the extended warranty and then 60 dollars every time a tech has to come out. I feel like a fridge should last AT LEAST 5-10 years right? If Im forced to buy a replacement then I will never buy from Sears again. Im so outraged I can barely think. What can I do?

Like most Kenmore products, we find our Kenmore refrigerator to be extremely reliable. It has been in operation in our home for 20+ years now, and continues to have no problems. Our last refrigerator was also a Kenmore, and ran trouble free for at least 17 years. We then moved, but I wouldnt be surprised if it was still running well.

We loved this appliance. We used it for a few years until we sold our house and let the refrig stay. We never had any problems with it and it ran without any issues. Our refrig was about 26 cu ft, I believe. We are a family of 4 with 5 dogs and we needed a lot of space to store lunches and leftovers in. The appearance was very classic looking, nothing too fancy but it was plenty for what we needed it for. It fit into our kitchen like a charm. Had plenty of storage space for lunch meats, fruits and vegetables. This is a very good value. You are getting your moneys worth when you buy a Kenmore appliance. They run forever and never have any problems and if you do, the service dept is there to fix it for you in a flash.

We bought our Kenmore refrigerator 11 years ago and it is still running fine. We recently bought a newer, bigger fridge and will be moving the Kenmore to the garage where we expect to be able to use it for many more useful years. We considered Kenmore when looking for our new fridge but went with Whirlpool as we opted to buy from Lowes instead of Sears. Kenmore fridges are built by Whirlpool so the design of the two are very similar. Overall we have been very satisfied with our selections.

Approximately Nov 10th of 2013, we noticed an RF error on the readout on our refrigerator and our food inside was all 40*. We had purchased a home warranty when we purchased the house so we called Old Republic and reported the problem. On the 12th a repairman from BJ Appliance Service came out and said he was afraid to do anything because he wasnt sure that it wasnt in the sealed part of the refrigerator which is under a ten year warranty so he would report back to Old Republic. Old Republic set up an appointment with Sears (A&E) Repair for November 19th. Since that time they have returned SEVEN times, replacing various parts each time, oftentimes more than once. Twice the repairman who was sent said that it was probably the fault of the first repairman that was sent. I insisted he did nothing but look at it. They finally agreed to a replacement because the fault was in the sealed part of the refrigerator but it took hours on the phone, seven times waiting for service and almost FOUR MONTHS without a working refrigerator. Twice customer service people told us that because we hadnt bought the warranty it was up to us to replace it. And we were also told by Old Republic that Sears and LG were arguing over who should replace it because it is really an LG product. No wonder Sears is failing - they used to stand behind things that had their name on them. And the warranty on this $2600 refrigerator was almost $400! Kenmore (even though it is LG product) and Sears - never again.

Kept the food at the right temperature and make it easy to place food item in the right places. The ice maker was the reason I purchased the refrigerators. The refrigerators size was large enough to for the space that it was in. Large that accommodated all the item I need weekly. The refrigerators appearance was clean and chrome so it was easy to keep it clean on the outside. The price was what I was looking for and the price I was willing to pay for and could pay off in less the two years. Would buy the same item again.

I think Kenmore refrigerators are a very good product. Very reliable works very well. Never had a problem with the product. I think my whole family has had Kenmore products and they have never had any problems with them either.

My fridge has had icicles forming on the inside of the freezer door and freezer frame. It is caused from the factory not making it airtight. They will not replace these fridges. They will only send a repair man to fix everything by using silicone all around the whole thing. It is apparent all these models 970R424123 Serial number BA54922901 Model type AD-18 were made with the same problem. Very dissatisfied with fridge and service. All people should be posting their dissatisfaction with this product which is owned by Electrolux!!!

When we first got our fridge it was very decently priced and affordable. We have had it for 3 years and it still works great and I havent had any major problems with it. My family always goes with this same brand and have for years.

Greatest fridge Ive ever owned. Kenmore is always high quality, and this is no exception. While this is the first BRAND NEW fridge Ive ever owned, this for sure will not be my last Kenmore. More than enough size for a family of three. The freezer is great for storing meat when its bought on sale, and the fridge is plenty big enough for even the pickiest person. It was a little more expensive than I expected to spend, but in the big picture, well worth it. Sure, you could spend less, but in the long run, youll pay more in loss of quality, and needing to replace it sooner.

I purchased a Kenmore Refrigerator September 2011. It is Jan 2015 and repairman is telling me compressor has failed on this product for which I spent $1838.66 cash. Who would think after only 3 yrs this would occur, my 15 y.o refrigerator was still working when Sears delivered this piece of big metal box!!! and took the old one away. I am seeing online that this is happening to quite a number of consumers, some compressors are even failing at 2 yrs and less. Why is Consumer Affairs and/or the Consumer Protection Agency letting Sears/Kenmore get away with this? Shouldnt there be a class action lawsuit against a manufacturer who is selling a product knowing it is failing like this? I have spoken to several people and supervisors at Sears repair today and each has tried to show me with the Well we offered you a resolution, the resolution is to spend 1/3rd ($600) the cost of the refrigerator to let Sears repair it!!! (what a joke/gimmick) ...and being told I should have bought the protection warranty. If I would have thought for a moment a Sears refrigerator would fail the major part of its works in 3 years, most manufacturers give 5 yrs, I would have gone elsewhere to purchase. My thought was by the time I would need repairs I would be ready for a newer model anyway. My mothers Kenmore is now over 30 yrs old, my sisters is over 10. I will never buy another Sears product and will be sure to inform and warn everyone in my social media circle that Sears is no longer the company we grew up with and not to purchase their products because they do not stand behind them and will rip you off for more money on any appliance you buy from them..

This refrigerator stays pretty cool. The handle doesnt get dirty fast and nice and steady when opening the door to the fridge. The freezer is pretty spacious for this size fridge and is easy to clean and wipe down. It offers enough shelving in the fridge and storage space. I like the built in shelves in the fridge door and also the built in shelving that the freezer has in the door as well. The fridge doesnt look cheaply made. I like how the fridge has a shine and the surface is very easy to wipe down and keep looking nice and clean and brand new. The value of this refrigerator is reasonable and affordable. I would recommend this refrigerator to anyone who is not trying to spend too much money but want a good quality fridge.

Purchased new freezer in March of 2014. Reasonable installation, installers broke a small part which was replaced by Sears. I purchased extra hoppers for the door. All was OK until this winter when we had several power outages. After the second outage, the freezer stopped running. I called and spoke to a technician who directed me to reset the breakers on the electrical box. She said the freezer would come back on in awhile. It didnt, so I called for a service call which had to be scheduled some time much later than I needed. In the meantime, after a week or so, the freezer resumed working. All was OK again for about a week when the freezer stopped again. I went through the breaker box routine again with no results. However, two days later the freezer resumed running but only for an hour or so. (Are we having fun yet?) I have called again for a service call, again sometime in the future and have cleared out the freezer and turned it off with the interior dial. (I would pull the plug, but I cant reach it.) The consequences as you can imagine are the loss of the entire contents of the freezer and extreme stress to me.

It does its job, freezes and keeps all our food fresh. Never had any problems with it ever since I bought it from Best Buy about a year and a half ago. My fridge has a great size and it can fit about a months worth of groceries in it. I love the trays to keep the meat and cheeses fresh and it also came with ice boxes too to make ice making easier because before we would never ever have ice. It looks great.

The refrigerator was pretty big, with lot of space and room for every product I buy. It was a good fridge too... With different level of coldness. The price was good and for a good value.

I bought elite Freezer and ref 2 unit in 2007 since then refrigerator model 25344723107 start leaking water to the floor and rust all over inside covers. Serviceman could not repair it because model number is erased in unit door. I dont recommend this unit to anyone.

It kept the stuff inside at cold temperature and kept it from spoiling quickly. It was easy to put in place. It was very easy to clean. It was able to keep a few gallons of fluids inside with good space left over for other things. There are a good amount of compartments to keep things organized. It is roomy and easy to move things around. The refrigerator looks nice and sleek. It fits in with just about any kitchen style without being underwhelming or over the top. It does not stain easily. The refrigerator is great for the price. It is very durable. It doesnt use up too much electricity while keeping everything in it cold.

We really like the Kenmore refrigerator but there are some things that we like more than others. The cost is a big thing for us. We are a working family and need all the money that we can get.

According to several sources, the average lifespan of a refrigerator is 14-17 years, assuming proper care and maintenance. Our Kenmore refrigerator, model number 596.69312010, lasted less than six years. Over a two months time span, the Main Control Board for our fridge needed to be replaced three times. We work with a reliable appliance repairman who has always done A+ work for us. I have no doubt that the installation of the replacement control board was done correctly, but within a few weeks it died again. On the third occasion, we gave up. Were not investing any more time or money in trying to extend the life of a sub-par appliance. Im not an expert but my guess is that there are issues with the entire cooling system of this fridge, which leads to the quick death of main control board. Whatever the cause, were done. Im leaving this review to warn other consumers before they got stuck in the same situation. Refrigerators are expensive. Even with bargain pricing youre looking at several hundred dollars for the most basic models. If they last as long as they should, the cost per year makes the expense bearable. When they die early, less than halfway through their expected lifespan, its very frustrating.

Attractive looking and have never had a problem with it. Usually buy GE products but got a good deal on this Kenmore... Happy I bought because it has performed well and it fit perfectly in my kitchen. Plenty of room for both fridge and freezer... I live alone so never have a problem with space in fridge. I think it is 20 cubic feet. It is big enough that sometimes my sister uses the extra space for her. Like the color and it fits perfectly with the rest of the kitchen. I wanted a side by side dual fridge / freezer, that looked good along with my other appliances. Very happy with the price I paid for the fridge/freezer. It was a company going out of business, so got a great deal... probably paid 30 cents on the dollar.

13 months after purchasing this expensive refrigerator and 1 month after the warranty ran out, the entire computer circuitry has to be replaced. Oh, and the ice maker has yet to work correctly. So, Sears answer? Buy a $279 warranty and well come out on February 10, 2014 to fix your refrigerator. If it costs more than $500 to fix, I have to pay the difference. Unbelievable!

It was a very good refrigerator. It always outdid all the rest. Never had a problem with it. Never had to have it serviced. It was gold and went with my kitchen very well. I had it for over 5 years. Still works as good as the day I got it. It is the only. Brand I buy. My wife loves it and cant give it up. Its gone through 3 kids and a dog. Still looks great. If you need a refrigerator I would recommend Kenmore. They last forever.

Kenmore French Door Bottom Freezer Model 253.7031 Purchased 12/12. Warranty up 12/15. Bought Home warranty this month 8/16. This has been a very poor appliance. Had it just a few months and ice maker quit. Tech came out and did a workaround to get it to run. Has always been noisy and didnt cool as it should. Warranty on fridge up six months ago. Called due to a leaking problem. Sears sold me home warranty. First 30 days will only pay out $500.00. Tech came out and said that it was structural and could not be fixed. No insulation in the back. No wonder it was noisy. Sears is not backing it other than $500.00. This is a sealed component and should be covered for a longer period of time. I spent close to $2000.00 for this fridge. I want the $500.00 to go somewhere else to purchase and they refuse. Why would I purchase from them again? Sears no wonder you are going under. Poor quality appliances. I called in and was transferred to four different numbers. You need to work on the customer service. I do give them credit that every person I spoke to knew this was a problem with the fridge.

I purchased a brand new Kenmore refrigerator 8/2018 and the compressor blew 9/27/2020. I called to set an appointment date for service and they failed to show. My appointments are now continuing to be rescheduled later and later in the month. This has changed every other day via text or automated calls from 10/6, to 10/7 to 10/19, to now 10/20! I have received no explanation as to why my appointments keep getting changed and no acknowledgment regarding a service request for a refrigerator which is an ESSENTIAL household item.I’ve expressed that I have 3 children in my home and that I was buying ice to preserve milk and eggs in coolers. I’ve lost wages leaving work for a service that never occurred, in addition to losing all my food in the refrigerator and freezer! No coverage because I didn’t purchase an extended warranty. I paid $170 for an outside technician to come Evaluate and repair but I have to have a Sears technician inspect it. The compressor is covered under the manufacturer warranty but I’m responsible for the service visit fee- no problem, if I can only get someone out to do the service. I never imagined that I would have a major part go in just 2 years. All my appliances are Kenmore????

It is a great appliance! I have had a great experience with it so far. I think that everyone should get a Kenmore appliance. It is the perfect size for me! I have a big family so it is important to me that I have a big fridge that is going to fit everyone that we all need. I love having my Kenmore fridge. I love the stainless steel appearance of my Kenmore fridge! It looks for pretty and stylish in my kitchen. I think it is a great look for any kitchen. My Kenmore fridge was a great value! I love it so much! I would buy it again in a heartbeat. I cant believe more people dont buy them. I would recommend it to anyone who asked me for advice.

The performance is amazing. It does and has everything you would want and need from a refrigerator. The size is perfect. It had storage for everything you could possibly need. It has all kinds of compartments and different areas of storage. The appearance is great. You look at refrigerators and usually see the same style. This one is unique and innovative. It has all the looks and style you could ever want in a refrigerator. The value is perfect. Nowadays you would think a refrigerator like this would cost over a thousand dollars, but it doesnt. The value is 100% great and I would recommend.

Purchased a french door, bottom freezer Kenmore Elite refrigerator. It is one year old and just out of warranty. I have replaced 2 control boards and another is out. It has been out of service for 8 weeks. Three repair visits and it is still not working. Sears does not stand behind their product. I have spent over $500 in parts and service call and it is still not running. Repairman leaves and I cannot get another appointment for 2 weeks! Most expensive refrigerator I have ever purchased and lasted the least amount of time. I have confirmed with other repairmen I know that say Kenmore is not what it used to be and cant be trusted. Run from Kenmore!

I like how well made it is. It really has great materials and the build quality to match. It has served me wonderfully and I am very glad I chose it. I am surprised it has so much to it given its just a fridge. However, I dont like the size of it, but it is alright because it fits where I need it to. Often times I will have a milk jug too tall, or wasted shelf space due to too much open height. Kenmore really has outdone my expectations. It is a great brand and compared to others it seems better. I chose it based on availability, but Im kind of glad it was what I got after all.

It is a double door refrigerator and has a ice maker in one of the door of the refrigerator that is black. We paid fifteen hundred for our refrigerator two years ago and it is well worth its value. Got it at Lowes and they delivered it and put it in for us.

Bought a new Kenmore Pro 795.79993 fridge less than 2 years ago. Now I have no fridge. $105 on-site charge to diagnose the problem. Then they want $500 to cover labor - UPFRONT before they order the part. The compressor is bad....which in itself is another $500 but they are willing to cover the part. How do you make such a substandard appliance, not stand behind your appliance, and then refuse to cover warranty work or repairs on a substandard device? DO NOT BUY. I just threw out my spare 40 y.o. Frigidaire fridge that was in the basement. I didnt even get 2 years out of my wonderful new fridge. Disgusting.

I love the fridge. I switched from Frigidaire. It keep food fresh longer... Ice tray overflows quickly. I have to remember to cut it off occasionally. Great size. Enough space on both side. Love the number of drawers... enough shelves. Good door space for condiments. Easy to open. It has a nice sleek appearance. I love the chrome color. The handles arent bulky. Its a perfect height and size for my kitchen and the space allowed for a fridge. It was purchased in a bundle deal with other appliances. The price was right about where it should be for the fridge. I havent had any problems with it that cost me more money so I would have to say its a good value.

Works very well. Plenty of space. We have had no issues with this particular model of refrigerator. Recommended to several family members. Plenty of room to accommodate our needs as a family without being cramped. Was a very important part of our decision to purchase. Very sleek. Matches the decor of our kitchen. Inside, the colors allow us to identify when it needs to be cleaned. Great price. It has provided fulfillment to all of our refrigerator needs without costing too much. It has not broken down either.
