You would figure paying this much for this product - it would be amazing... It is just average. It cleans ok, but it is very quiet. However we have had sears out 3 times to fix the jet dry dispenser. It is still not fixed and is not out of warranty. It dumps the entire thing each run of the dishwasher. So we dont used the spot free dispenser any more. Sad for such an expensive unit. Size fits perfect to my laundry room, very convenient. Happy with the purchase. Will definitely recommend to friends and family. Quiet and gets the job done quickly. Dishes come out shining and all the food particles are gone. Very nice. Simple function, cleaned dishes really well, easy to use, energy-efficient and fast drying time, easy to load, very little leaking, easy for children to load and unload. It was big enough to hold and clean my familys everyday dish use. It blended well into the rest of the kitchen. Easy wipe down. Really up to date looking but not standing out. Easy to match with my existing appliances. I thought it was a little pricey but the price was worth the quality of the machine. Very little maintenance cost and upkeep. Any place Ive moved to live always has at least two appliances that are Kenmore brand. Ive known and used Kenmore appliances for years and feel their products are of good quality. I liked the built in smart wash heated rinse and dry. It also seems to not leave the metallic smell, taste and feel of the type of dishwasher detergent I use. Felt it was more sanitary that way. However, a glass front window would be nice and feature to add. For the most part, I am happy with my Kenmore purchase as this is a brand I often use when shopping for household appliances. We purchased this dishwasher in February 2017 to replace our 17 year old unit. Ratings appeared to be positive for this unit. We have to prewash everything we put into this unit! Even then, they will sometimes pick up crud we might have missed. I was totally spoiled with our old dishwasher, also a Kenmore. The only thing that would sometimes stick, was melted on cheese. What good is a dishwasher, if you have to prewash the dishes before using it? Can hardly wait for it to break, so it can be replaced! The performance is very good. It cleans the dishes without spots or residue left over. The machine works well and we havent had any problems. The size is adequate. We can wash all of our dishes. Sometimes the tray for the silverware isnt enough but we have four kids who like to use spoons and forks. The appearance is nice. It flows with the rest of the kitchen. Looks modern and fits nicely into our kitchen cabinets. Doesnt look as if it is going to break. It is worth the money we paid. There are higher priced models but this one does the job and is affordable. It has also lasted so it has value in its longevity.

The Kenmore dishwasher has been great and it works fantastic. Most dishwashers have your dishes come out with spots on it but not this one. It is a 24 inch built in dishwasher and it fits quite a bit of dishes about 12-15 plates and plenty of glasses. It has two racks and a utensil holder. It is stainless steel with black. The buttons are all digital and it has a black handle underneath. The buttons light up and it plays music or whatever you set it to to go off when its done. Its of great value. It costs about 300.00 and I believe that is a reasonable price for the quality of this product. The dishwasher works well enough, it saves time from washing the dishes by hand but I do notice a lot of spotting on the dishes after theyve dried, which is kind of annoying. Good size. I can fit about a days worth of dishes into the dishwasher. Sometimes its a bit harder to do everything in one load though if there are a lot of pots and pans that day. Its a nice light color, which keeps the kitchen bright and cheerful and I enjoy that over darker colors. It has a nice shine to it but not too shiny to make a glare when the sunlight comes in.

Model 665.1396 Although this dishwasher cleaned very well and is super quiet, the first year the something needed to be replaced under warranty. The second, a part of the rack dry rotted and I bought the part on eBay for $25 and fixed it. The third year, the thermocouple went and again I replaced it myself. $50. This is the fourth year weve had this and the control panel wont light and looks like it is one of two $130 parts. I give up and will be looking for a new dishwasher. I wont cry when Sears goes out of business. Raise your quality manufacturing standards and stand behind your products. So obvious, I dont know what CEOs get paid for.

We never have to worry about our dishes not being clean. They are perfect after each wash. The dishwasher is so quiet, I sometimes have to check if its on or not. The size is just perfect for our family of 5. There is perfect space for all of the glass ware on top shelf, and plenty of dish space on the lower rack. My Kenmore dishwasher was in the house when we purchased it. It is the best of its kind versus the price. The dishwasher has plenty of room for all of my dirty dishware and silverware to fit. I used it for around 3 months, and in that time period it did a good enough job. Well I have a family of 5, so usually when I did dishes I had to do 2 loads to fit everything in and get it cleaned. It wasnt too much of a hassle, my family uses a lot of dishware. It definitely looks good in any modern kitchen. My specific dishwasher was silver with black trim on the top. It was compact and it didnt take up too much space. Overall it looked good and even added to the room it was in. I wasnt able to test it enough before I moved, there was a brand new dishwasher at my new house. So I cant say for sure but for what Ive seen Id say it was well worth the money. I purchased it from Sears because someone was able to help me understand the features and answer my questions about the differences in the various dishwashers and they were on sale. Energy efficiency is a quality that helps my bottom line money. The fact that save energy is huge. Another feature is being able to choose between Smart wash, pots and pans, Normal or 1 hour wash helps. My last dishwasher did not have a pots and pans feature and I hate washing pots. And the stainless steel front is sleek. However, this is not a very quiet dishwasher. I usually start the dishwasher and go to bed and you can hear the dishwasher upstairs. Kenmore has a long lasting reputation in my community as well as others. It is appealing to a family and not just a person. It is a relatable brand with great advertising and its products really do provide the service that they say they should. Its efficient. It washes dishes perfectly clean the first time that I run the dishwasher and it does not take a very long time for the cycles to run through and it is aesthetically appealing as well. The only thing that I would improve is the longevity of the product but even then Im not sure how long they actually last because Ive had mine so long and Ive never had a problem.

I bought and installed a new Kenmore dishwasher from Sears (model # 665.13042k113 manufactured by Whirlpool) approximately 3 years ago. I infrequently use it, perhaps 4 times per month (less now). About a year ago plastic parts started falling off of the upper dish rack. Now, every time I use the upper dish rack, it falls off the track onto the lower rack. I am very disappointed in the product and will never buy a Kenmore or Whirlpool product again. I would expect that an expensive appliance would last longer than 2 years without falling apart. I like to support American industry, but if this is what we are turning out now, I will buy foreign products in the future.

It is a very quiet dishwasher. I like the fact that you can just wash the bottom or top rack individually. It also has an adjustable top rack. It cleans and dries very well.

I am very pleased with the Kenmore Dishwasher that I purchased some time ago. It is easy to load. Plenty of room for 4 serving size of dinner plates, glasses and all other things used at a family meal. Pots and pans are not a problem. They always come clean. It is large capacity interior, which will take care of a large amount of dishes, silverware, glasses and pots and pans. The door is easy to open and controls are in a handy location. My Kenmore Dishwasher has a white exterior with silver trim around the top. It matches other kitchen appliances that I have. Everything is well-coordinated which gives good decor. I dont remember just how much I paid for the Kenmore Dishwasher but it was priced right. I purchased at Sears and got financing which made it nice.

I have bought Kenmore for years. At first it was because Sears was the only convenient store where I could shop for appliances that had sales associates who could answer questions and help me compare products. The prices are competitive and always work well. The tray is adjustable so I can raise or lower it to accommodate different kinds of dishes and pans. I can used a cycle to rinse dishes and wait so I can save detergent and keep the kitchen clean. I can turn off the drying cycle to save energy. However, I find that there are too few options of how I can place items in the dishwasher. Mugs frequently either collect water on the bottom or are not cleaned adequately. There is no convenient place to put large utensils - spoons, spatulas etc... They are too high to put with the cutlery but take up too much room if I lay them flat on the top tray. Also, they are not cleaned well if I lay them flat.

Typical dishwasher, nothing fancy. Pretty noisy, pot setting takes a long time to wash but cleans unrinsed dishes very good. This dishwasher is average, nothing fancy here, washes dishes fine. Just too noisy. Sears service is going downhill. They dont listen to what your problem is, and you first have to talk to their voice mail instead of a real person, and even then youre lucky if they can understand what youre saying and vice versa. Wouldnt recommend Sears to anyone.

We purchased a Kenmore Elite dishwasher serial number FO2117032 in June 2010. Within the year warranty period, some of the labels on the control panel fell off. Sears replaced the panel at no charge. Then about 3 weeks ago, one of the labels fell off. I called Sears repair and spoke to 2 different representatives and they both told me that I would have to pay $129 for labor and diagnosis and the part would be extra. I told them that since this was the 2nd time that this had happened, it must be a defective part. They told me to call another number to see if there was a recall of that part. My husband called and there was no recall. He also was told we would have to pay for service and the part. I feel this is Sears responsibility because some of the other labels are loose also. We feel that the front panel design is defective and will continue to happen.

This dishwasher looks ok but I wish I could get it in different colors though. A red or a black one would look better than white and fit my style. Maybe even pink. Size is important to me because I dont need it to take up a lot of room in my kitchen. This dishwashers not too big so it doesnt take up very much room but is big enough to meet me and my familys needs. Also, it doesnt leave any food or water residue on dishes. It is inexpensive to buy and run. Is great for a larger family and runs quietly. The overall value is great. It saves me slot of time and money. The size of the dishwasher could be a little bigger, it a good size but would like more room for cups. It sometimes is hard to put large pots and pans in the dishwasher with other dishes, especially if there is grease on them. I have to wash them before I put them in the dishwasher to make sure the grease comes off. The dishwasher is black, which I love because its easy to keep clean and looking new. The button on the dishwasher is black with white writing to allow you to see when each cycle is happening (rinse, dry, etc). It is easy to wipe off and keep clean and it goes well with the other appliances in the kitchen. The value is okay! I feel it could be better and far as the size. However, when you live in an apartment you cannot pick the dishwasher you really want. When you are buying a home you have more choices or can buy what you want.

The dishwasher was the perfect size for me and my kitchen which still works great from the same spot for years. The appearance has always gone with the different designs over the years. I have received many compliments about the dishwasher. It never had to be repaired. Its easy to use and when it breaks down I will buy the same brand because I was so pleased. It was a great replacement and I would definitely recommend it.

It works very well. My dishes get clean on the first run and its not very loud like others Ive owned. Its easy to operate with very little bells and whistles. Even the 7 year old can run it. This dishwasher is average size. It takes up about a cabinet width of space under the counter. There is plenty of space on the inside for a whole days worth of dishes to fit. My dishwasher is just a plain white color. Its easy to clean and I dont have to worry about streaks like you would on stainless steel. I also dont have to worry that bleach will fade it over time. This dishwasher was a much lower price than other dishwashers. It was budget friendly to purchase. Although it was a cheaper purchase it works just as well as the high dollar one I had before this one.

This has to be the WORST dishwasher I have ever owned. Its not even three years old and we have had to repair it 3 times already!! Its cost me more than the dishwasher was even originally worth. The initial time we fixed the spinning jets and got an entire new control board at the insistence of Sears repair. They said to fix and not replace. Then we had to fix the baskets since they are cheap and fall apart. The next issue is that it wont lock into place so cant use it. I will NEVER EVER buy a Kenmore appliance again. Total disappointment. Thanks for making a terrible product Kenmore!

The Kenmore dishwasher consistently cleans well and does not overtax my water bill. It is also easy to clean and I am more than pleased with the performance, mechanics and aesthetics of this dishwasher. The biggest test to me was after Thanksgiving dinner we had an enormous amount of dishes and it fit them and cleaned them like a champ. I was utterly stoked and amazed at just how many dishes we fit in this dishwasher. Our kitchen is professional grade, all stainless steel appliances and this dishwasher blended right in seamlessly. I have recommended the dishwasher to my friends and family due to the fact that it not only looks good but the functionality is superb. With this dishwasher you could have doubled the price.

Have the dishwasher for 10 years until I moved. There were no problems. Did the dishes nicely. Clean them. Was happy with the results. The dishwasher fit my needs. I did the dishes nicely. I never had any service problems with the item. I would highly recommend it to all of my friends or family. The appearance was okay. Nothing special. Would give it about a five out of ten. The value of the dishwasher was good. The cost was average compared to other brands. Came with a good warranty or guarantee. It is a must-have for any home or apartment.

The dishwasher was capable of cleaning the toughest of dirty dishes. It was not an energy hog nor does it make a lot of noise. Fortunately for me this dishwasher was already in the house when I purchased it. I am looking forward to upgrading eventually but I havent come close to needing to replace it yet! The size was very good. It was small enough under the cabinet while not taking up too much. The interior was spacious enough for all of my needs. Pots, pans, mugs and pitchers all seemed to fit with ease. The appearance is nice enough; nothing to really make you go wild. It does need a regular wiping down because it seems to be a bit of a dirt magnet. It was obviously worth every penny considering I was fortunate enough to have it already included with the house! I am not sure how much it cost when purchased but, looking at the various models to upgrade, it seems like it would be a decent value.

The Kenmore we had was in our townhouse when we purchased it. It was a few years old and didnt have the features we wanted in a dishwasher. It was not a very efficient machine but did the job...for a while. Thats the only good thing about it, but we didnt dislike anything it did. It was an entry model, no bells or whistles. It did not have special racks that moved, it didnt have fold down racks and two washing wands, it only had one small utensil holder and no place for larger items. We soon replaced it and now have a Bosch dishwasher and are very pleased. I am sure Kenmore has better models now, but we wanted a Bosch.

The racks also slide out easily and is easy to operate and add dish washing liquid. The looks is sleek and modern. It has a silver finish and matches out kitchen. It looks like its well made. Its cheap to use and operate. It also operates quietly and uses very little energy. Cleans quick and also doesnt use much water. Is durable.

It stacks easy, everything has a lot of space. You can put extra if need the extra room. If you give an dinner party you need not to worry, maybe just 2 loads will clean everything. Large room for every dish, glass and even a few pans. It is easy to load. Everything will be clean. No need to prewash. Just rinse off and load. The great part is your plates will sparkle just like your glassware, pots and pan are clean. Sleek, up to date goes well with any decor style you have. The way that this work horse work, its worth a lot more than the asking price. If you just look at the style, the amount you can load into it, the job it do, the beauty of it. And it use less water.

I fit up to a setting of eight though its capacity is up to ten plate settings. Its compact but powerful cleans dishes that are piled up. It is gorgeous, sleek, compact (but tall) and surface is easy to clean. It isnt bulky, giving it a modern and efficient appearance. Its about 36 inches tall and it is very deep. It is very inexpensive for what it can do. It is energy efficient with many settings to accommodate your loads. It is also easy to self install if you dont want Sears service people (or anybody else) to assist with installation.

Dishwasher is very quiet and has several delayed portions so you can set it to wash when youre home. Cleans well without prewashing and dries well without leaving spots. I built my house and this Kenmore dishwasher was the dishwasher I chose due to its energy, efficiency and sleek appearance. It was also in sale which was a plus. I also had a Kenmore refrigerator and was very satisfied with it. The dishwasher has been very durable so far, I like the brushed stainless steel appearance. I also like the sleek finishes. Its powerful and energy efficient. I like that it is quiet in my open concept home. I have been very satisfied with it overall but I would appreciate if it was even quieter, or the drying was better as the hot cycle tends to leave small puddles of water on the dishes. Also, I would like it more if it were even bigger and had more capacity. Having adjustable shelves and fingerprint free surface would be a plus as well.

Kenmore has a great reputation, also many friends and family recommended it to me. I grew up having this brand in my household and its not as expensive as some other brands. I dont need fancy colors or anything. Just wanted something reliable, inexpensive and could get the job done. I really like all of the features currently on my new dishwasher. It gets my dishes super clean and it has several settings on it including super heavy for my pots and pans. However, I really wish it was easier to clean. It has a self clean setting but I have to buy special soap for it that only comes in one size.

High speed gets my dishes clean the way I expect them to be. You wont find many dishwashers can do what Kenmore can. I dont like washing dishes so lol. The dishwasher worked very well and lasted the family longer than other brands we have had. There was no residue that I would need to wash off, which made it very convenient for me. The size of the dishwasher was perfect. Not too big or small and the door was light enough to be handled by kids. It is an average size compared to many different brands of dishwashers nowadays. The dishwasher was very stylishly made and it was black so it was somewhat kid proof when it came to getting dirty easily. It had a very pretty pearly black finish which gave it a lot of style and was a beautiful addition to my kitchen. The value of the dishwasher was average, compare to the other brands that were being sold at the time. It was affordable on a slightly flexible budget and was worth the price I paid for it.

The machine runs forever. What I mean is even the cycle listed as 1 hour runs for 3 hours. I have also noticed that lately its cleaning ability has diminished. I have to almost wash everything before I put it in. In addition, I have started to put paper towels under it because it been known to leak. My last dishwasher worked really well but it was so old that there were no replacement parts when it needed repair.

We are a household of 2 adults, no children. We are probably easier on this appliance (Kenmore Elite Dishwasher) than most busy families, and yet the upper rack rollers break at least once a year. We’ve had it for 5 years and I’ve spent > $125 on replacement parts. The rack rollers are brittle plastic and break easily. When they break, the dishwasher is useless as the tach will no longer align with the ports in the back of the unit. The manufacturer needs to offer a recall or permanent fix with quality materials. The dishwasher is quiet, and cleans well, but is poorly designed as far as the plastic parts are concerned. Ive had cheaper dishwashers last longer without this maintenance problem. This will be my last Kenmore... EVER!

The dishwasher cleans well with minimal issues. It runs quiet as well. Occasionally the detergent dispenser gets stuck and I have to rerun a cycle. I can put most size of items in the washer without blocking too much of the water flow. Some baking sheets are difficult but if you put them on the side you can tilt them to fit in to the space. Mine has a stainless steel face. It just wipe it water mostly and go behind with a dry cloth. It does scratch easily by the dog. We had a mouse hiding under it and my dog scratched it up near the bottom. I guess it was a good value for the price. It was part of our appliance package with our new house so we didnt buy directly but through our builder.

We have had this for quite some time and have NEVER had any issues with it. Great qualities, amazing performance, etc. If you need a daily used dishwasher Id recommend this one. We now have a family of seven. It will fit all plates, cups, silverware, pans or pots used to cook dinner plus any extra dishes from lunch or breakfast. Black, shiny, doesnt stand out too much but just enough to look good with any kitchen color. The color has never faded and the buttons still look great. Its value was so worth what we paid. The appearance, size, continence all makes up for the amount we paid. Also the delay start adds a plus to it.

Bought a Kenmore Sears 600 series. Awful machine. Uses 4 inches of water even with deep fill. It snags clothes and/or makes holes in the clothes even my shag throw rugs. I have small holes in New dish towels, snags in the towels and wash cloths, snags and holes in knit tops. The only way you can get more water into the tub is use the bulky/bedding and that takes 1 hour and 30 minutes. Had the repairman out 3 times. One said, You have to fill the washer. Cant do small loads. 2 pair coveralls and 1 pair of mens jeans isnt enough. Then thats the way it should be sold!!! Use only full loads!!! My daughter has the same washer. Same thing for her. Snags and holes. It took a while to figure out where the damage was coming from. One more repairman coming today. Hes wasting his time and mine. DO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE!

Does a good job of washing the dishes and getting them dry. There is no soap residue and they come out spotless. I am very happy with the job this machine does and would consider purchasing another in the future when needed. It is the perfect size for me and my husband. We are home alone most of the time. But even with company there is plenty of room for all the extra dishes. We are very happy with the size and how well it fits in our kitchen. Our dishwasher is a plain model. It is white in color and the buttons are on top of the door on the outside. It blends in very well with the rest of the appliances in the kitchen. We have had this model for several years now and are very happy with the value we have gotten out of it. With everyday that passes its value increases.

I love Kenmore. They are known for the amazing products they given you. They have the best products and they always last for a long time. I love how it looks. It was a bit expensive but its okay. The dishwasher stopped working and no one seems to know why it stopped working. I havent been able to use the dishwasher in a long time. I now have to hand wash my dishes and I am not too happy about it. I am looking to replace my dishwasher. I plan to get a different brand. I wont be purchasing Kenmore dishwasher in the future. The dishwasher size is fine. I am able to wash all of my dishes at once. The dishwasher fits perfectly in my kitchen. I do not have any complaints as to the size of the dishwasher. The dishwasher size and appearance is good. It is very sleek and attractive. I really like the appearance of the Kenmore dishwasher. I am dissatisfied with the value of the dishwasher. The dishwasher is no longer able to be used therefore there is no perceived value to me as it is useless. Kenmore needs to do better with creating stable and sturdy merchandise

Not noisy, well built, but it seems like bottom rack leaves dishes a little spotty. I kind of would wish it had more shelves instead of the basic top and bottom shelves that most dish dryers have. When you use this Kenmore product, youll find that it has the same basic design of most Kenmore dish dryers. Lets start with the top rack, well I feel like it has a tight feeling to it. I cannot fit my Stein on the top rack due to height issues. For the bottom is very roomy and tons of space. I was able to put dishes and frying pans all in the bottom rack which surprised me. I believe its a well-crafted piece of machinery, with its digital numbers, it comes down to the kitchen if it does not match the cabinets or if it does. Nonmatching color makes it stand out if youre into that kind of thing but if that not a problem then it is pretty impressive. Overall it helps more than expected which if you value your time then this gives you your bang for your buck.

Washes well, easy to use, dishwasher runs very quietly. There are lots of options to choose from which will help with the cycle you need to run based on the dishes you have used and how dirty they are. Silverware holder is in the bottom rack which doesnt allow you to get as many plates are large items, I usually run my dishwasher about every 3-4 days and we are a family of 4. I am not fond of the black plastic at the top with the stainless steel look, I would rather have the entire thing stainless to match the rest of the items in my kitchen and also having the buttons in the front allow little hands to be reaching and touching them, which may cause some of the cycles to mess up. I would say these are great for the value, they last 8-10 yrs depending on the use and how much they are used. My last Kenmore lasted 11 years, the racks started breaking and rusting up.

It is a brand I trust and have owned before. It was recommended to me by friends and by family who have used it for years and have had no complaints. We have a very large family that cooks a lot and appreciate not having to wash dishes after preparing such a large meal for our families. Easy to use and gets everything clean which is very important. In my family we have a lot of parties and use the dishwasher a lot for these large special occasions that are very important to my future. We bake BBQ fry so much cooking. I have found this to be the best dishwasher I and my family has ever used. A little hard to load larger pieces in the machine. The one thing that would be better would be if I could fit larger pieces in the dishwasher with more ease. I cook a lot and need room for large dishes.

Performance is high function and relatively easy to perform at its best. Every glass and dishware I have put in comes out sparkly clean. The size of dishwasher is amazing. I can nearly fit whatever dishes I have used at dinner. The most surprising event was in thanksgiving I was able to fit all the plates in this washer and still is effective. I am happy about the appearance of my dishwasher. It looks plain. Nothing extraordinary but the effect it has on my dishes is AMAZING. It looks like silver clear reflection. The dishwasher is on the more expensive side. I am satisfied with the value I bought it for. If the product dishwasher wasnt as effective as it seems I would not bought it for its price.

Got dishes and pots and pans very clean and dried very well also. And ran very quietly, hardly ever heard it running. It was standard size --held a lot of dishes and pots and pans. Could almost fit every thanksgiving dinner stuff in--in one wash. Never had a problem with it cleaning or drying. Wish I still had it. It was standard size white in color. Came with our place. Big enough for our family of five. I would recommend it to anyone who hates to wash dishes. I cant say what it cost, it came with our trailer, but it was worth its weight in gold to me. Never had one issue with it. Always worked very well.

Good machine. Dishes are always clean. It is water smart. Holds more dishes than most. Very quiet. Does not need a lot of dishwasher soap but still gets the dishes clean. Racks are large enough to hold most of my pans. It has two very large shelves. Only problem is that there is no place for the silverware. Quiet and gets the job done quickly. Dishes come out shining and all the food particles are gone. Very nice. If kept up the work put into fixing up was worth it. Easy to keep clean inside and out. We purchased the Kenmore dishwasher with our Best Buy credit card so we are paying a pretty high interest rate! But it is definitely worth every penny! It cleans great, and is very quiet. I love the sections. I am crazy about where everything goes in the dishwasher it is very easy to keep everything organized. It is very big on the inside. In the old dishwasher, I would have to do separate loads after a larger family dinner, not with this one, everything fits and gets clean! I love the stainless steel, and the look itself is classy, not bulky and would fit well in any kitchen! The buttons are also not big and bulky so my kids cant play with them either.

Its just an all around awesome dishwasher. Its super strong, its super quick and its super sleek looking. Well worth the purchase. Its surprisingly big. It can fit a heck of a lot of dishes in one load and that really showcases just how much it can get done and how quickly. You cant go wrong with black. Its super sleek looking, its very new age and smooth. Its a definite necessity for the visually modernist kitchen. Its a hit in the wallet, definitely, but honestly not as much as youd expect when compared to most high end washers on the market. Definitely a good value for the production.

I purchased a Kenmore elite refrigerator less than 3 years ago. Within the first year - 2 of the drawers had the front break off. Sears did replace these. About 14 months after purchase 2 more had broken and they would no longer replace them - I could purchase new ones for $130 each. Over the next year the ice maker quit working and 2 of the other drawers broke too. A few night ago - my wife was cleaning the fridge and the door fell off. We had purchased a Kenmore elite dishwasher at the same time. That quit working in less than 2 years. I had the service tech out for $85. He told me that he would have to replace the main board and the pump for $350 and that still might not fix it. I dont think I would buy a Kenmore product again.

Kenmore appliances are fantastic. Great quality that always work and clean my dishes to perfection. Would recommend to anyone. The way that my dishes come out after being washed is like diamonds. Kenmore are just an overall great brand.

My dishes come out very clean and sanitized. The dishwasher holds a nice sized load and it does not have to be loaded perfectly. Its energy efficient and runs quietly. Its a little small, but I can still fit all my dishes in easily. I dont put pots or large pans in the dishwasher so there is enough room for dishes and glassware. If I try to overload it, the dishes dont get clean. This is a very basic looking dishwasher so it does not have much appeal. However its simplicity allows it to blend in with the surrounding decor easily. It would be nice if it had a handle across the front instead of just a dial. Its reputation alone makes it a great value. You do not get all of the bells and whistles with this one but you get a reliable dishwasher that does a great job.

We bought a Sears Kenmore dishwasher around four years ago. In less than two years time, parts started breaking off of the upper rack of the unit. After three years, the top rack was unusable, and so after limping along for some time doing 1/2 loads by using the bottom rack only, we replaced the housing for the wheels on top rack. Only, the screws dont all screw in, but just going around-and-around. At this point, Im not sure that Ill even bother going back to the parts store for a trade on the part, because during the process of fixing the wheels, we remembered that several other parts were broken (half of the spines holding the glass holders dont stay up, and both rack track stoppers are missing, so that rack can only be pulled halfway, or else the whole thing comes crashing out), and it seems pointless to spend more money on such a poorly constructed piece of equipment.Additionally, our HE dishwasher is so efficient that we have to thoroughly hand wash every plate, bowl, glass, piece of silverware before running it through the wash. It worked reasonably well for the first year. After that (and after the warranty ran out), we noticed that it wasnt cleaning well at all. We keep the trap clean. We have read other complaints online, and it seems that we need to take the whole thing apart for a thorough cleaning, in order for it to do a decent job of washing. We dont even bother loading pots and pans into the unit, because even with a thorough scrubbing, they come out greasy.We called Customer Service today, and were told that they could send a service rep out, but we would have to pay for the service call ($89.00). We were also offered an opportunity to buy an extended warranty. Im pretty sure I dont want to pour more money into this money pit. The bottom line is that we paid $800.00 for a rinser/dryer/ dish drainer for our kitchen. Do yourself a favor, and dont buy a Kenmore. That are NOT what they used to be!

I am satisfied at how clean everything is. I would describe my dishwashers performance as very nice. I would recommend it because it washes those dishes right up! The dishwasher doesnt take up the whole kitchen which is nice. It is smaller than a refrigerator and larger than a trash can which is a good size for a dishwasher to be. It could always be smaller, but then it couldnt hold more dishes. The more dishes that get clean, the better, so Id say the size is just right!This dishwasher is on fleek. The color and model are super pleasing on the eye. The manufacturer obviously knew what they were doing when they made this dishwasher. I love it. The value is very good. If you are thinking about buying a dishwasher, you cannot find a better value anywhere else. Give up your search because this is the epitome of value. It is a good dishwasher.

I like that the dishes always come out clean and sparkling. I never need to put anything back through and things stay in place while the machine is in use. There are the odd pieces now and again that cant fit but thats to be expected. Overall Ive had no problems getting everyday items to go. Beautiful design that readily goes well with anyones home and decor style. The appearance is sleek and blends well with the surroundings. You get what you pay for. No complaints from me! I dont think its unreasonably priced and given the typical cost of dishwashers, I think this is a fair price.

When it is running you can barely hear it (very quiet.) It is 4 years old. Never and never had a problem with it. It cleans very well and is It is well worth the money I paid for it. Sears named it correctly ELITE. I would recommend buying the Kenmore Elite stainless steel dishwasher.

I like the overall design of the dishwasher! When it was used it cleaned perfectly and there was so much space. It had many different functions you could use. It was also economical and saved water. The only thing I would improve would be the amount of time it took to wash the dishes seemed to take awhile. Overall its been great. If I had to choose to buy another I would probably buy the same one again.

I have had several dishwashers. MY best one was a Kenmore - 30 years ago. Well, I dont know what has happened but this last Kenmore dishwasher is a piece of JUNK! Not only have the wheels on the arms broken 3 times (that pull the top rack in and out) but it does not clean. Filth and small granules of food are stuck on the inside of cups and glasses, plates feel sticky. When trying to troubleshoot, it looks like the spray arms are not working/moving. For what I have spent in replacing parts it hardly seems worth it to invest anymore in this thing. Very Disappointed. When I went out looking to replace it, was told that any American Made Dishwasher is only made to last 5-7 years tops! And that is why they push the extended warranty. Well I think that this throw away attitude and lack of quality from manufacturers is pathetic. I have been told to look at European models, specifically Miele. In needing other new appliances I Will NOT Be Looking at any Kenmore (Whirlpool) products! Kenmore is NOT WORTH THE MONEY!

The model I have, I bought in 2011. Its been almost flawless in performance. The only issues have occurred when something needed more thorough scrubbing afterwards. My model is an HE one. All stainless steel walls interior. From the top down, there is an attached basket in the back for long or small items. There are two flip down racks attached to the front sides for more small items or long ones. Prong sections in the rack itself can be folded down for odd shaped things. There is a washing arm under the top rack so everything on the top rack gets well cleaned. The top rack adjusts up and down for taller items above or below. The bottom rack has a removable knife rack on the left side. The removable silverware basket, I have it on the right side, is divided into 5 sections with divided lids that can be folded up or down to separate utensils. There are jets on the back wall for the pot scrubbing feature, which can add when choosing cycles. Theres a removable filter basket in the bottom. There are lots of cycles to choose from, all of which Ive tried at one time or another and all work well, including a one hour wash, a sanitizing wash, a top rack only wash, etc. The machine is very well insulated so its super quiet. I can barely hear it running, which I really appreciate, as my bedroom is directly above the kitchen. Theres even a delay wash option, so it can run after I go to sleep. The door can be left open at a variety of different angles without it falling down or shutting. This is great for letting it air out, as I dont use the drying cycle. I live in a dry climate so allow the dishes to air dry by opening the door all the way and pulling the racks out. It is a standard sized washer, meaning it fit in the same location as my old unit. However, it is larger inside than my old unit, so I can put taller items inside. I chose a brushed stainless exterior to match my fridge. This has not been so wonderful though. It shows stains that I cant seem to get out. Something must have spilled on the exterior at one point that etched into the finish. When polished with a stainless steel cleanser, it looks great, but within a day, the stain reappears. The cycles panel is on the top of the door, so its almost completely hidden from view when the door is fully closed. There are 3 led lights on the front, just above the handle, though Ive only seen two of them lit - red for when its running and blue when it finished. Ive no idea what the middle light color is or what it means. When I chose this model, I had a choice of handles. I chose a rounded one for hanging towels on and if I bump into it, it doesnt hurt so much. This was an expensive home appliance, being just under $1000 (originally $1400). I got it on clearance when Sears closed out their big home stores. At one point, just four days after the warranty had expired, the washers computer control panel stopped working. I looked on YouTube and found the fix, which saved me a $90 service call, and took less than 5 minutes to do.After having read how many others have encountered this same issue, I think the control panels are preset to fail (and most just after the warranty expires), to force people into making an expensive service call, because it takes less than 5 minutes to fix it. And once its done, it hasnt reoccurred, at least not for me, and its been over a year now that I fixed it. It would be easy enough to program that error to happen at a specific time, by either the manufacturer or a salesperson with the programming instructions. I always try to repair, or replace, things myself, to save the exorbitant cost repair services charge these days.
