I have had several dishwashers. MY best one was a Kenmore - 30 years ago. Well, I dont know what has happened but this last Kenmore dishwasher is a piece of JUNK! Not only have the wheels on the arms broken 3 times (that pull the top rack in and out) but it does not clean. Filth and small granules of food are stuck on the inside of cups and glasses, plates feel sticky. When trying to troubleshoot, it looks like the spray arms are not working/moving. For what I have spent in replacing parts it hardly seems worth it to invest anymore in this thing. Very Disappointed. When I went out looking to replace it, was told that any American Made Dishwasher is only made to last 5-7 years tops! And that is why they push the extended warranty. Well I think that this throw away attitude and lack of quality from manufacturers is pathetic. I have been told to look at European models, specifically Miele. In needing other new appliances I Will NOT Be Looking at any Kenmore (Whirlpool) products! Kenmore is NOT WORTH THE MONEY!

4 full-suites of Kenmore kitchen appliances purchased for apartment complex sat unopened in boxes at job site for 2 months due to construction delays. 3 dishwashers were installed without incident. 4th dishwasher immediately sparked and started smoking when connected (by licensed electrician). RIDICULOUS SEARS POLICY that the dishwasher cannot be replaced because we had it for more than 30 days. Technician said he had to order 3 parts... Cost of parts very close to original cost of machine & OVER what we paid for the dishwasher if you add-in the labor cost. I want a new machine, I do not trust the integrity of this machine. What is so difficult to see that this machine is DEFECTIVE and should be replaced and not repaired?Ive had to make time for 2 service calls so far and now the parts on BACK-ORDER! Why cant Sears just deliver a new dishwasher! How do we rent the apartment without a working dishwasher??? Will Sears compensate us for loss of rental income and time taken for service calls? Customer Service call center in the PHILIPPINES are nothing more than answering machines, have no authoritative powers or common sense.

It gets the job done. It does a good job cleaning the dishes and also drying them. There usually is not a spot left on the dishes or glasses. The size of the dishwasher is appropriate. It fits enough dishes, glasses, and silverware. I cannot complain about the size. It also fits nicely in the area that we have it in the kitchen. The appearance of the dishwasher is nice. It is made nice and it is sturdy. I cannot complain about the appearance. The dirt also comes off nicely when you clean it. The value of the dishwasher was nice. I think the price that I paid was a fair price especially for what the dishwasher does. I cannot complain about the price that I paid.

Water get off grease and everything thats stuck on pot after cooking to make it better. I do not have to do the work of getting the dishes clean. Fit perfect in my small kitchen and its very discrete. No one notice that its there and blends very well with my other appliances. Love the look and the size. Cant put a price on love, cant put a price on what makes your life easy. One less chore is worthy of my $600. Just having to pack the dishes and walk away I would pay an extra 200.

Water heats well... Dishes are not just cleaned but sterilized. Glasses look great as do utensils. Its reliable, easy to use. Convenient. I can get pots and large dishes (like platters) in without problems. Tall glasses fit better on the bottom shelf and I place large serving and cooking spoons, knives and forks flat in the shelf. Nice, clean lines, lights are easy to see and the dials are easy to read. Like the way it compliments my other appliances. Husband likes it well, also as he often loads it. Does a good job w/ economical time and limited water usage. It quickly pays for itself w/ the economical usage and quickness in cleaning.

Have purchased several Kenmore Elite appliances over the years, but it appears the quality control and service is declining. Bought a Consumer Report highly rated KE dishwasher. CR has subsequently noted consumer complaints about the dishwasher. Mine is still under warranty and it stopped working. The control panel needs to be replaced and being told the part is on back order and no idea when it will be available, but no earlier than four weeks! Thinking maybe because I am still under warranty, I am back in line to those who are out of warranty and need to pay for the part. It is inconvenient when an appliance is not working for a week or two; crazy that any company thinks it is acceptable to sell appliances that cannot be repaired for a month or more.

Its a little better to wash dishes and just need a better soap to use. Its a good Kenmore, kind of quiet with no noise. Gets dishes clean. 1340 size. Good for all dirty dishes. Have lots of dishes to wash everyday and need big dishwasher. The bigger the size the better it is. Nice appearance, and good looks to wash dishes and keep them clean faster with no noise and washes real good with bleachy soap. Big washer for dishes.

This dishwasher cleans well. The only problem I have is the dishwasher not completely drying. When I go to empty it, the dishes have water sitting on them and I have to dry most of them off if not all. The size fits well under my counter. The size of it also fits the dishes well in it. It could be a little bigger but the size it is works fairly well. The appearance of this dishwasher is great. It is all black. The all black can sometimes cause issues with fingerprinting though. Fingerprints on the dishwasher are extremely noticeable. I feel like what I paid for the dishwasher it should dry better. That should be part of the dishwasher that should work well. I should not have to dry the dishes off after every wash.

Cleans everything as it should, quiet, saves water. My old dishwasher only used powder so its nice to be able to use more modern and superior cleaners. Makes washing a snap, very happy with it. We have a built in area of the counter that the dishwasher has to fit into and this fits perfectly. It is large enough to keep us from having to do the dishes every day which is nice. Just look at it, a thing of beauty. It looks great in our kitchen, but so did our last dishwasher. I guess most of them all look alike! We feel weve gotten great value with this dishwasher. It does everything weve ever wanted it to do.

The dishwashers performance clean your dishes so well you dont even need to add soap. Best dishwasher Ive ever owned and I love Kenmore. Kenmore is very efficient. Great size. I have a full sink of dishes and a Kenmore dishwasher can take all the dishes and stack them on top of all the dishes and they still all come out clean. The Kenmore is very good to look at. Its an eye-catcher, everybody who comes into my house as well as a really nice looking dishwasher what company is it. Enterprise very reasonable. Great value. Very glad that I researched Kenmore in the dishwasher. Its a great dishwasher. I recommend it to everybody.

The performance of the dishwasher was fast and efficient. I could clean large items with ease and the dry process was quick. Also there was no spots on the dishes either. I have some large pots and pans and those were nice to fit. All my other items that went into the dishwasher fit perfectly. The dishwasher is the perfect size and even if it was bigger, that would be great. I love the look of it. At first, I always thought that stainless steel was not my thing, but after getting this dishwasher, I found it to be nice. Although, if the fingerprints did not show up as easy as they do, that would be a plus. The value of the Kenmore dishwasher is nice and valuable. I always have thought that Kenmore was a good brand. I bought it at Sears which is a name that I can trust and that is why I find Kenmore items to last longer and are very tough.

It does a good job. Haven’t had it but a year but it is very nice clean looking, does a great job of cleaning dishes. The compartments inside are nice and easy to use and hold a lot of dishes very well. It’s very good size, fits the space I have for it very well, not bulky and doesnt take up too much space in the kitchen. Works very well with the dimension that we wanted. Love the appearance. It’s really what first sold me on it as I wanted something simple not too messy with lots of buttons on the outside, sleek blends into the kitchen space very nicely. Bought it on a small sale but from talking to other owners it sounded like I got a great deal, and definitely not going to complain about that.

The dishwasher was the perfect size for me and my kitchen which still works great from the same spot for years. The appearance has always gone with the different designs over the years. I have received many compliments about the dishwasher. It never had to be repaired. Its easy to use and when it breaks down I will buy the same brand because I was so pleased. The dishwasher has done well in my two family household. Not too many dishes are done recently but still the dishwasher has had a few instances such as family dinners where it was tested. Cleaned well. No complaints thus far. The top shelf when used holds a few plates for about 5-7 adults and several drinking glasses. The bottom shelf holds around 10 plates for me, baking pans and a few other containers still with space left. Honestly the inside does not matter as much as the outside stainless steel. The external has held up so far and is easy to clean and doesnt scratch easily. It was less than $500 at time of purchase from store. Free delivery. I am not sorry for price paid. Good value. More than paid for itself so far especially in terms of time.

Model 665.1396 Although this dishwasher cleaned very well and is super quiet, the first year the something needed to be replaced under warranty. The second, a part of the rack dry rotted and I bought the part on eBay for $25 and fixed it. The third year, the thermocouple went and again I replaced it myself. $50. This is the fourth year weve had this and the control panel wont light and looks like it is one of two $130 parts. I give up and will be looking for a new dishwasher. I wont cry when Sears goes out of business. Raise your quality manufacturing standards and stand behind your products. So obvious, I dont know what CEOs get paid for.

It work great. I have had for a year and I use it every night and it get my dishes so clean and smell so good. I love it. Matches my kitchen and works well with my space limit and I dont have to wash them by hand. I can fit all my dish in it in one laid so I would say it is pretty big and rookie and a good size for my family. Great appearance. Brighten up my kitchen and make it feel like home and work well with my family. The color is so perfect and black matches a lot. Value was great. I use it every nite every day. I recommend it.

Its a very dependable, high quality dishwasher and it works great. I would recommend it to anybody. I would even go out and buy an extra one for my house. I love my dishwasher. Can easily manage a variety of sizes and is ample enough to hold a couple of days worth for a family of three. Utensils Basket is adequate. Some larger mugs are difficult to place. Style is appropriate for variety of kitchen styles. Works perfectly in our small country kitchen but would also fit beautifully in a more modern decor. Average, affordable price. Easily comparable to higher end machines. I find this dishwasher to be a good value for the money based on the overall style and function. Weve had no problem with the machine.

My Kenmore dishwasher was probably one of the best brands of dishwashers Ive ever used! Ive had a couple different ones and they all work great! Theyre very easy and simple to use and understand, look good, and get the job done. My dishwasher was big in size on the inside, meaning it held a lot of my dishes. I could fit all my cookware, plates, pots, cups, and silverware in there with no problems. Also, even with all that stuff in there it still managed to clean all of it! The couple Kenmore dishwashers Ive owned all looked nice in appearance. Even the older ones are still nice looking! The new stainless steel dishwashers are super nice looking! They go with any kitchen. They have white, black, and stainless steel. The value for the Kenmore dishwashers is awesome. For what you pay for them you get your moneys worth. They work great, space efficient, fit a lot of dishes, look good, and theyre not uber expensive!

One day after my warranty was up, my one year old dishwasher died. I contacted Kenmore, and was told, Tough luck. I spoke with a manager, and was told the same. Their only response was they would be happy to send a serviceman, but I was responsible for payment. This is the last time I ever purchase a Kenmore product again. I have been a loyal customer, but no more.

This dishwasher has served me and my family well for 2 years and it still has room in the tank left to be the most efficient dishwasher you can have. The holding space is amazing and its good for those very big dinners. I mostly pile on my large objects on top of the smaller one so that everything will be clean. The dishwasher has a neutral color to it. Great for home projects that dont need much color or depth into it. The holding space is whitish/grayish look as well. It has saved me a pretty penny whenever the soap is running over. Power/Cost efficient so you dont have to worry about your bill rising.

We purchased the Kenmore dishwasher with our Best Buy credit card so we are paying a pretty high interest rate! But it is definitely worth every penny! It cleans great, and is very quiet. I love the sections. I am crazy about where everything goes in the dishwasher it is very easy to keep everything organized. It is very big on the inside. In the old dishwasher, I would have to do separate loads after a larger family dinner, not with this one, everything fits and gets clean! I love the stainless steel, and the look itself is classy, not bulky and would fit well in any kitchen! The buttons are also not big and bulky so my kids cant play with them either.

We purchased a top of the line dishwasher 2 years ago (Kenmore Elite). All of our appliances are Kenmore. It was around $700-$800. It quit advancing the washing cycle. It would cost us $600 just for the part to fix it and Kenmore pretty much told us sorry about your luck. Needless to say, we will purchase future appliances from Lowes or Home Depot.

I always grew up with Kenmore products in our house. My grandparents always wanted to buy the best quality of everything. I carried on that tradition and have always stuck with the Kenmore name. However, after my last 3 appliances going out on me, THAT WERE ALL KENMORE, I will never buy Kenmore again! I also got terrible customer service that could not do anything. My 1 1/2 year old Kenmore refrigerator freezes everything on the top 2 shelves, no matter how high I put the temp, AND the ice hardly makes any ice. You get about 8 cups every 24 hours!!!My Kenmore Elite Dishwasher (was a great dishwasher while it ran), BUT all of a sudden it started making a VERY loud noise and it is so loud, you cant hear someone talking in the kitchen, I have never heard anything like it from a dishwasher! My Kenmore Elite Microwave suddenly made a really loud pop noise and it smelled like it caught on fire! Customer Service said there was a recall on the refrigerator, so they made an appointment for a technician to come out. THEY NEVER SHOWED UP!!! So I called back and they said now the computer would not allow them to make an appointment for me. I spent over 2 hours on the phone trying to get to supervisors to help me. NO HELP!!! I AM SO DISAPPOINTED WITH YOU KENMORE!!! I will never buy another Kenmore item.

It works very well and has different settings that meet my needs. It works well to get rid of tough stains and leaves my dishes sparkling clean. The dishwasher is the perfect size for my kitchen, not too big and not too small. It doesnt take up too much too but has enough space inside to fit all of my dishes. It fits with the aesthetic of my kitchen. I like the finish and think the appearance shows that it is a high quality product and performs to the highest standard. I believe that the price I paid was very much worth the product. It is high quality and has provided consistent performance without any troubles so far.

Have had this brand dishwasher for years, always been extremely reliable, sturdy and lasting. Honestly I dont think that I would ever choose a different name brand item for my familys needs. Works wonderfully. When we moved into our new home, there was a place in the kitchen already cut out for the dishwasher, it fit perfectly with no problems, its not too bulky at all. Love the flow. DO NOT BUY KENMORE DISHWASHERS. Ours (Kenmore Ultra Wash Dishwasher) quit working after 20 months of use. We did not buy the extended warranty because we thought it should last at least 5 years before anything would break. Wrong. I have called the customer care phone numbers several times. Did not get anyone that speaks fluent English. Very frustrating. And they keep forwarding you to a different area.THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER. I found out had we bought the 5 year warranty it would only cover the services call(s) 100%. Had you needed new parts for you appliance you would get $25% off of the part but you the customer would have to pay 75%. Our particular part that is bad costs $156 plus tax and shipping so we still would of ended up paying like $140 dollars to maybe get it up and running again. Sears stores are closing but they still plan to sell Kenmore online so do not make the same mistake we did. Enough said.

My children sometimes do the dishes and dont wash them first but the dishes come out sparkling. The machine is super quiet and does not make hardly any noise. Also it is conscious of the water amount needed with the sensor. Love this product. I think that the product for the price is definitely worth it. It looks good inside the cabinets and is very kids friendly with even a lock on it so that buttons cannot be pushed by little fingers. Also, this product is not too small that it fits hardly any dishes but the outside looks small. When you open it up youre amazed at the inside of this dishwasher and the shelves are far enough apart so it holds bulky items. Plus, the appearance is beautiful. The silver color goes great with my dark cabinets and when its wiped down it sparkles, it fits well in the cabinets too. Holds its place and my kids yank on it. It is super sturdy.

I use the dishwasher a lot, had no problem with it, and no repairs needed. It cleans dishes great. Used cascade with it, cleans everything off and no water spots. It fits all of my items inside and fits right beside my sink. Great with pans and pots, work amazingly well with glasses, and the sliding tray is a lifesaver. The size and the appearance are great. Outside needs to be cleaned sometimes but it looks great with the overall kitchen decor. Cleaning it with soap and water usually does the trick but doesnt get that dirty that often. The dishwasher works great, and has a great height and width. It would sell for a good price. I love it.

So far my Kenmore built in dishwasher has met my initial expectations. It has multiple different cycle settings and it has auto dry feature that I really like. I only wish it would dry the dishes better.

Performed very well. It always took care of the dishes and only had a few problems with it. The heating element would get caked with water deposits and the soap dispenser door brook. Had dishwasher for 15 years and only needed service 3 times for problems. The size fit my family as there were only 2 of us. However it handled a large load when company came for dinner. Size was appropriate and easy to load all the dishes. Dishwasher was nice color that kept its shape with no peeling or rust anywhere. Inside stayed nice if taken care of depending on your water hardness. We had ours for 15 years and I would have to say the value was exceptional for the amount of time we had the dishwasher. I would definitely recommend for starting families.

The Kenmore dishwasher does everything that I need a dishwasher to do which is to clean my dishes so I do not have to do them by hand. As a retired disabled American veteran with injuries from Vietnam the simple settings for washing dishes makes it easy for me to use. The settings are easy to understand and apply. It has been very dependable too. I have only had a repairman from Sears come to my condo only once and that was to replace the circuit board that had been fried from an electrical surge.

This dishwasher came with the house. I was pleased that it was a Kenmore brand, and it has proved to be a great appliance. It does its job, it is quiet and effective. Ive yet to find any reason to replace it. I will look at Kenmore when I do have to though. The racks are well made so placement of my dishes is easy. Basket for silverware is a breeze to use. The top rack has plenty of room above it for tall glasses and other items that require the top rack. Spacing on the racks is good, items rarely fall through to the bottom rack. But, the placement of the handle where you open the door is not what I would have done. I break a nail almost every time I open it. Other than that there isnt much I would alter about this dishwasher.

Definitely reliable and sturdy. Lasts a long time if treated well. Also cleans really well with spotless dishes. Personally I loved my dishwasher. The dishwasher was kind of small on the top task. Could definitely use more space for pots and pans and larger than normal cookie sheets. Not the most attractive dishwasher. If you want performance, go for this one but if you want appearance then something else would be for you. Definitely a great value. Great performance for a great price. Very good investment to make for a new family on a budget. Lasts for a really long time so makes the buy even better.

It does a great job getting the dishes clean in the first wash without having to pre wash them in sink to wash in the dishwasher. A quiet reliable machine. It is a normal size dishwasher, can fit all dinner dishes, pots, pan, plates utilities in one wash. Very nice look, buttons are easy to read and understand. No need to search for what button need to be pressed. Easy to keep clean and wipe down as needed. Great value on this model of dishwasher, energy efficient, and water saver. With this I feel like I am saving by not having to wash my dishes before putting them in the washer.

The Kenmore dishwasher was a sleek design and dark in color, so it didnt get dirty easily or stick out against the rest of my kitchen. We used it everyday for nearly five years before its performance started to diminish. It usually cleaned well, and as long as it was loaded well, it could handle the usual days amount of dishes. However, its size was meant for a smaller family and I have five people living in my home.

The power wash feature proves that this dishwasher is a great appliance. I dont have to pre-wash stuck on food and greasy residue. When I pull the dishes from the dishwasher, they come out sparkling clean. Also, the dishwasher is extremely quiet to operate and uses very little water and electricity. Although we are empty nesters, we do have parties around the holidays and the dishwasher can be tested with the amount of plates and cups requiring cleansing. It has come through every time. The stainless steel is awesome and I would never go back to painted appliances. It is so easy to clean with a little polish and when its clean it shines so much. I love it! Appliances are not cheap anymore but this one seems to have been a great salute for us. We spent about the median price for name brand appliances.

Very easy to use and works without any problems and also have many extra features that are very helpful at saving time, water, and energy. Standard 24 in but the inside is designed for large capacity load. Very easy to load a whole days dishes at once and not have any problem. Outside is black, inside is stainless steel. Very easy to clean outside with inside very easy to use cleaning cycle and it is very quick cleaning so you can use it again. When on sale this is an excellent product. Cannot beat the price for all the features that you get. Can get it in a couple of days and very easy to install and use right away.

Dishwasher is very quiet and has several delayed portions so you can set it to wash when youre home. Cleans well without prewashing and dries well without leaving spots. It performs really well. The dishes come out clean and shiny - they also smell good! I wasnt sure when I first bought the dishwasher whether or not it would perform well, but I have found that it is one of the best, if not the best, dishwasher I have ever had or used. My dishwasher is about 3 feet tall and 2 feet wide. It holds a lot of dishes, so I am very satisfied with it in that matter. It fits well in my kitchen, but it doesnt take up too much space, even though it is quite roomy on the inside. I love the color of it - it is black and silver, so it blends in with my other appliances (e.g. my refrigerator). It is quite shiny, too, but not too much of a shine. I would say that the value of the dishwasher is about $350, which is quite a bargain when it comes to dishwashers. This dishwasher is especially useful and high functioning, so it makes it even more of a bargain.

The dishwasher washes well provides there are no stuck on or crusted food items. I wish it dried better, but I can simply leave the door open when it is done running and allow the dishes to air dry. The dishwasher fits most dishes and utensils, but I do have issues with some larger pots, pans, and baking sheets. I usually need to run two full loads after a large family dinner, but I think this is common with most dishwashers. The appearance is smooth and sleek, with no protruding handles, which I like. It cleans easily, and the black color is a nice compromise between the cheaper-looking white and the high-end stainless steel models. The dishwasher was a good value for the price point, and it seems average in water usage. I have not noticed a change in our water bill, so the water usage must be fairly normal since the machine is not high efficiency.

Kenmore Dishwasher is a great size. I have a family of five and I always have enough room. I put the pots and plates on the bottom, and the cups and bowls on the top. My dishes always come out clean. The best part is the inside always stays clean. No build up. I mostly have basic features and I normally use the normal wash cycle, no need to use other features. The size is fine for our family, it takes two to three days to fill it up. Our front is black and has the control in front. I wish the utensil holder was installed to the inside door. We usually have to pull out tray to load them. Its pretty quiet but that was an important factor when we chose it. Also it doesnt seem like it takes a long time to clean.

I used it for around 3 months, and in that time period it did a good enough job. Well I have a family of 5, so usually when I did dishes I had to do 2 loads to fit everything in and get it cleaned. It wasnt too much of a hassle, my family uses a lot of dishware. It definitely looks good in any modern kitchen. My specific dishwasher was silver with black trim on the top. It was compact and it didnt take up too much space. Overall it looked good and even added to the room it was in. I wasnt able to test it enough before I moved, there was a brand new dishwasher at my new house. So I cant say for sure but for what Ive seen Id say it was well worth the money. Perceived value of my Kenmore Elite is more than I paid for it when you realize that you will receive many years of fine working from this appliance for the small price you originally paid for it. You get your moneys worth from this appliance in the long run so it is worth a little extra for more features too.

This dishwasher looks ok but I wish I could get it in different colors though. A red or a black one would look better than white and fit my style. Maybe even pink. Size is important to me because I dont need it to take up a lot of room in my kitchen. The reason I chose to purchase these particular Kenmore Dishwasher was because the store was having a sale on the product and it fit my budget and requirements. I like the easy to use buttons, all the different kind of settings to clean and dry the dishes, prewash, and the easy open and lock of the door. However, I dislike the noise it makes when the dishes are washing. I wish it were quiet and when it switched cycles it didnt click or make noises as well. I also wish when they dried it would leave less spots on the dishes.

The dishwasher doesnt drain well and the settings are constantly resetting themselves. After using it for 2 years this dishwasher needs to be replaced because it does not work well at all. It is small to mid-size in my opinion. I think it should be bigger and hold more dishes. Sometimes I feel like I am having to cram dishes in there to make them fit and then they dont come very clean. The color matches well in my kitchen. The dishwasher is white and my cabinets are also. The digital buttons on the front are nice also. I did not purchase this myself so I am not sure what the price is. But I think in the beginning the value wasnt bad. But for it to not hold up well two years later that takes away from the value.

I bought and installed a new Kenmore dishwasher from Sears (model # 665.13042k113 manufactured by Whirlpool) approximately 3 years ago. I infrequently use it, perhaps 4 times per month (less now). About a year ago plastic parts started falling off of the upper dish rack. Now, every time I use the upper dish rack, it falls off the track onto the lower rack. I am very disappointed in the product and will never buy a Kenmore or Whirlpool product again. I would expect that an expensive appliance would last longer than 2 years without falling apart. I like to support American industry, but if this is what we are turning out now, I will buy foreign products in the future.

This dishwasher is mediocre. It cleans okay. I have never had rewash anything as long as I fill both soap dispensers. The big problem I have is with the door. I have to slam it shut or sooner or later it stops working until I slam it again. Which is a pain when I go to empty the clean dishes and the start button light is flashing on and off!

Purchased a Kenmore dishwasher (Model 66513409N411) 3 years ago and the motor is shot. Was told it would cost $550 to replace! Service technician said that with the high efficiency washers the motors dont last as long. That is crazy! Will never purchase a Kenmore brand again.

Kenmore is a brand that I know and trust from my youth into my adult age. With that and my understanding and research of other brands, I decided to move forward with the brand I trusted most. All of the features of the dishwasher appeal to me as I had a dumb basic dishwasher previously that could barely operate, so just the basic fact that this operated was a huge improvement over my previous dishwasher. It is cheap and simple but it could improve to work more towards automation and clean smart washing of dishes to allow for varying loads which use the most efficient water based on load. And on smart cleaning, if it could sense and focus on items which it may see as the most dirty for more cleaning than the other dishes.

My last dishwasher broke down so it had to be replaced. My new Kenmore dishwasher looks better and cleans much better. I am happy with it. The one thing Ilike best is that I can put large - tall objects in it.

I love Kenmore Appliances! We have owned three Kenmore dishwashers, both of which we purchased. Our first one was for an apartment we were renting in 1979 when our son was born. I wanted one specifically to sterilize bottles. It was roomy and did a good job, but was rather noisy. Our second one was for our first house and replaced another brand. It was quieter and very roomy. The 3rd was even roomier and quieter and had soft touch buttons and a digital display. We try to buy Kenmore appliances whenever possible. The brand is synonymous with quality. They are dependable, stylish and provide great value for the price. Kenmore offers the latest features, and the sales people are unfailingly friendly and extremely knowledgeable and helpful. We have looked at the Kenmore Elite models and when our current KitchenAid (came with the house and was new) gives out, we will replace it with a Kenmore. I like the adjustable racks and would like it if the cycle was even MORE environmentally friendly. I like having options on the length of the cycle and how much water is used. I would also like it if all surfaces in the dishwashers were stainless steel.

Smart Wash, 1 hour wash, Pots & Pans, 4 hr delay, High Temp This dishwasher is laid out very efficiently and holds dishes from a dinner party of 10 easily. Simple and sleek. I have black. Clean out the filter periodically (easy). This is a no-rinse dishwasher, but I like to keep any potential smells at bay. Also love the configuration of the easy moving racks. Set up is great--I love to cook and this is a great kitchen tool that gets a lot of use.

This has to be the WORST dishwasher I have ever owned. Its not even three years old and we have had to repair it 3 times already!! Its cost me more than the dishwasher was even originally worth. The initial time we fixed the spinning jets and got an entire new control board at the insistence of Sears repair. They said to fix and not replace. Then we had to fix the baskets since they are cheap and fall apart. The next issue is that it wont lock into place so cant use it. I will NEVER EVER buy a Kenmore appliance again. The Kenmore dishwasher works great, it gets off even stuck on food that I thought would be dried on. I bought a rinse aid for the dishwasher because my water is hard and it left spots but it left no spots after that and even the harder things to clean with the little crevices and grooves came out clean. It has a few different settings to help meet the exact needs of the dishes you are washing in each load. I have a family of 5 and we do two loads a day and can fit everything into the dishwasher (since the kids hate hand washing). I am able to fit several cups, bowls and larger utensils on the top rack and then the silverware, plates and larger items on the bottom rack without issue. When Im not looking the kids even sneak pots into the dishwasher with the dinner dishes without incident. This dishwasher looks nice in the kitchen and matches well with my other appliances. It has a sleek look and doesnt seem to hold smears and fingerprints like some other appliances that Ive had in the past. This dishwasher also has stood the test of time in my kitchen and gets used more than daily. For the price it was a great investment in not hearing the kids whine about having to hand wash the dishes. I believe this was a great purchase and would do it again.

Beware. This is the second unit we have had that has blown the main fuse internally for no reason other than poor design and manufacturing. This causes the unit stop working completely. It is an easy repair and upgraded parts are available online but this should not happen at all given the cost of the units. It is such a common problem that forums are inundated with posts about people having this issue. I am not willing to buy one of these overpriced pieces of cheap manufacturing from Sears again. For the same or a little more I can purchase a unit that will work properly in the long run. Our current one lasted only just over a year before failing. Since our last unit failed as well I could repair it myself as the same part fails almost every time. My parents Kenmore dishwasher has had the same thing happen to it as well. I would recommend that anyone serious about a reliable dishwasher stay far away from the Kenmore brand.

Sears and Kenmore both made it easy for me to cross them off my list for future appliance purchases. If I cant trust them with a small appliance like a microwave, I know I wont be able to trust them with a large purchase. No one should have to replace a microwave after just two years, especially when its kept in pristine condition. My microwave was great when it worked, easy to clean and large interior. Then it started rotating and heating when I opened the door (dangerous). Then when door was closed, food was placed inside and you would expect it to heat something, it would instead countdown and nothing happened. Only thing that worked was the timer.For months I contacted Kenmore on FB privately showing them video of both issues and their response was basically, Im sorry for your troubles, theres nothing we can do. I have a dishwasher with another company that messed up and they actually cared about making things right. I wouldve easily bought a replacement, but the dont care attitude keeps me from replacing my Kenmore microwave with another Kenmore microwave. After just 2 years, Id expect more.

I purchased it from Sears because someone was able to help me understand the features and answer my questions about the differences in the various dishwashers and they were on sale. Energy efficiency is a quality that helps my bottom line money. The fact that save energy is huge. Another feature is being able to choose between Smart wash, pots and pans, Normal or 1 hour wash helps. My last dishwasher did not have a pots and pans feature and I hate washing pots. And the stainless steel front is sleek. However, this is not a very quiet dishwasher. I usually start the dishwasher and go to bed and you can hear the dishwasher upstairs. It would be nice to have the sounds absorbed somehow.

I have a $3,000.00 Kenmore Elite that does NOT work. They want $1200.00 to $1500.00 to repair. Kenmore use to be reliable but not anymore. In September of 2015 I purchased the top of the line refrigerator and dishwasher. Less than 5 years later, neither one is working. The repair cost is so high it does not pay to fix them. I would never purchase stainless steel appliances again, especially a dishwasher. Door must be opened to access pause button. Noisy with original sound blanket. If you have another, install that to lighten the noise. Overall, a great dishwasher that steadily performs up to two loads a day, 365 days a year.

The storage space of the dishwasher is great and allows for ample quality of wash. I was able to almost all my dish sizes in the appliance. My Crock-pot was the only problem I had fitting in the appliance but with a little push I fit it on the bottom rack. Dishwasher allows for many different washing options and wash cycles worked well when used. Had problems with opening and closing it and it wouldnt latch very well when closed but dishwasher is easy enough to use. I like the color of the dishwasher and inside color goes well with outside color. I also like that buttons are not noticeable. The handle is also very appealing to the eye. Had machine for some time now and its value is great.
